[0:02] Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
[0:13] Speaker 1: Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Two Teas
[0:15] Speaker 1: in a Pod with myself and Teddy Mellencamp.
[0:18] Speaker 2: What's going on over there? What's going on over there?
[0:20] Speaker 1: I was going to say OC, but you're not in OC.
[0:22] Speaker 1: You're in LA. How's the weather? Because I heard OC
[0:25] Speaker 1: is like Miami right now.
[0:27] Speaker 2: Well, supposedly it's supposed to be so hot today, but
[0:30] Speaker 2: it was raining yesterday. Yeah. And, you know, it was humid.
[0:35] Speaker 1: Was it raining and hot in L.A.? Yeah.
[0:38] Speaker 2: Raining and hot. Yeah.
[0:39] Speaker 1: So like it was 104 in parts of South Orange County.
[0:44] Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
[0:45] Speaker 1: In North Orange County. Like it was crazy and raining
[0:47] Speaker 1: off and on from what I hear. It was 60
[0:50] Speaker 1: something degrees here in Big Bear. And we had a
[0:53] Speaker 1: major thunderstorm.
[0:54] Speaker 2: Oh, I love a thunderstorm. I know.
[0:56] Speaker 1: And it was hailing, too.
[0:58] Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
[0:59] Speaker 1: I know. But today the sun's shining and it's supposed
[1:02] Speaker 1: to be like 75. So I'm here for it. So
[1:04] Speaker 1: you're ready for a good day. I'm ready for it.
[1:06] Speaker 1: I'm ready to go like ride my bike, you know,
[1:09] Speaker 1: take our bikes out and ride. We love going through
[1:12] Speaker 1: all the neighborhoods, looking at the different houses and we're
[1:15] Speaker 1: going to buy this one one day and we're going to,
[1:17] Speaker 1: mom's going to live here. Like, you know, all the dreaming.
[1:20] Speaker 2: It's a good dreamer place.
[1:21] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:21] Speaker 1: The daydreaming we do here in Big Bear. Yeah. What
[1:25] Speaker 1: I should do is go to the gym.
[1:26] Speaker 2: I haven't been in a week.
[1:29] Speaker 1: Well, Not good.
[1:31] Speaker 2: I know. Not good. You've joined me. You've joined me.
[1:36] Speaker 2: I can barely get up today.
[1:37] Speaker 3: Like I woke up to Matt's face, like two inches
[1:40] Speaker 3: from mine, and I was still in bed.
[1:41] Speaker 2: And he's like, hello.
[1:43] Speaker 3: No.
[1:45] Speaker 1: Jump scare.
[1:46] Speaker 2: I was like, hey, what's up? And he's like, you've
[1:52] Speaker 2: got some ads to do before the pod. And I
[1:54] Speaker 2: was like, what? No way.
[1:55] Speaker 1: No way. So you had to like get yourself together
[2:00] Speaker 1: to do sponsored ads. Oh God.
[2:04] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:04] Speaker 1: I've been doing this cameo like deal, like for Labor Day.
[2:10] Speaker 1: And I think it ends on the 13th, but it's
[2:12] Speaker 1: like 50% off. So it's like $ 50 per cameo. And
[2:17] Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I am doing them non-stop, non-stop, but
[2:22] Speaker 1: it's fun. I don't mind it.
[2:23] Speaker 2: Are you trying to catch up with Jax Taylor?
[2:26] Speaker 1: No, I am on the leaderboard and I think I'm
[2:28] Speaker 1: about 60 right now, but somewhere in the 50s. But
[2:32] Speaker 1: it blows my mind that Jax Taylor is number one
[2:36] Speaker 1: on the Cameo leaderboard.
[2:38] Speaker 2: He must just do it 24-7.
[2:40] Speaker 1: But obviously there's tons of people requesting him. So that's
[2:44] Speaker 1: what blows my mind.
[2:46] Speaker 2: Well, I wonder how much he charges.
[2:47] Speaker 1: 100, 130 or something like that.
[2:51] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:51] Speaker 1: And I mean, he's making hundreds of thousands of dollars
[2:54] Speaker 1: on Cameo.
[2:56] Speaker 3: Like when I hear stuff like that, it really makes
[2:58] Speaker 3: me upset that I can't just put my big girl
[3:00] Speaker 3: panties on and do cameo.
[3:02] Speaker 1: It's not that hard. You make people happy doing it.
[3:05] Speaker 1: I did so many birthday wishes. A lot of people
[3:08] Speaker 1: going through cancer treatment, pep talks, roasting people.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Okay.
[3:15] Speaker 2: All right. I don't know why you don't do it.
[3:17] Speaker 2: I just don't. For whatever reason, it's... Well, right.
[3:22] Speaker 1: Now, I think on the leaderboard, as far as housewives,
[3:25] Speaker 1: I didn't look through all. I think it's the top 100.
[3:28] Speaker 1: Sonia's always up there on the top. Myself. Luann's usually
[3:33] Speaker 1: on there. Yeah. Jax Taylor. Like, guys, number one on there.
[3:41] Speaker 2: Some women must want to hear from him.
[3:43] Speaker 1: Is that what you think it is?
[3:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, just not us.
[3:47] Speaker 1: I mean, it's crazy to me, but good for him,
[3:50] Speaker 1: I guess.
[3:51] Speaker 2: Need to make money. Yeah. It's crazy to me.
[4:06] Speaker 1: So we are here to recap season 16 of New York.
[4:11] Speaker 1: This is episode two. What'd you think overall of the episode?
[4:15] Speaker 2: Loved it.
[4:17] Speaker 1: You did?
[4:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, I loved it.
[4:18] Speaker 3: I mean, I think there are some things that definitely
[4:22] Speaker 3: don't match or mesh.
[4:25] Speaker 2: You mean like people? Yeah, like people. But I still
[4:30] Speaker 2: am loving it because they're just so crazy. I know.
[4:35] Speaker 1: And then Carol's back. So we're excited about that. And
[4:38] Speaker 1: she's writing again. And we interviewed her at BravoCon, remember?
[4:41] Speaker 1: And she was talking about her sub stack. And I
[4:43] Speaker 1: know Heather Dubrow does sub stack too. So you guys
[4:46] Speaker 1: can go over and look at hers as well. It is,
[4:49] Speaker 1: that would be like a nightmare to me to have
[4:51] Speaker 1: to write things out. Cause isn't it just like a
[4:54] Speaker 1: journaling type of situation, right?
[4:56] Speaker 2: I think so.
[4:57] Speaker 1: Are you good at that stuff?
[4:59] Speaker 2: Do I seem good at that stuff?
[5:01] Speaker 1: No, but I had to ask, maybe it's your secret power.
[5:03] Speaker 2: My secret power.
[5:05] Speaker 1: You're at home journaling everything.
[5:08] Speaker 2: Well, no, but I did notice her re-renovated apartment. Yes.
[5:14] Speaker 2: Like it looked amazing. But then this part was I
[5:19] Speaker 2: found a little bit interesting. So then we go down.
[5:23] Speaker 1: I found it all interesting about Carol.
[5:25] Speaker 3: Yeah. So everybody's this means like production, the whole group,
[5:31] Speaker 3: they're going down to her old red Jeep and she's
[5:34] Speaker 3: sitting in there.
[5:35] Speaker 2: And I think that Jeep is. I don't know.
[5:39] Speaker 3: I feel like that's the Jeep that my friend Robin
[5:41] Speaker 3: drove in high school.
[5:43] Speaker 1: Yeah. Did you see the staple gun that she just
[5:45] Speaker 1: stapled the headliner or whatever it's called?
[5:50] Speaker 2: The top of the car falls down and it's already
[5:52] Speaker 2: got like that.
[5:53] Speaker 3: I have to warn her though. You have to be
[5:55] Speaker 3: very careful when those start to fall down. Then little
[5:59] Speaker 3: tiny bugs will get in there because that happened to
[6:04] Speaker 3: my friend Robin's Jeep too.
[6:06] Speaker 2: How about just take it out? Then I think you're
[6:09] Speaker 2: just straight on like asbestos.
[6:11] Speaker 1: No, it's no. There's no like insulation. It's probably just
[6:16] Speaker 1: metal from the ceiling.
[6:18] Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. Well, she's stapling it
[6:20] Speaker 2: to something.
[6:22] Speaker 1: That's true.
[6:23] Speaker 2: She's in the middle of stapling it.
[6:24] Speaker 1: It wasn't her first staple either.
[6:26] Speaker 2: It wasn't. No, you could tell. She carries a.
[6:27] Speaker 1: Staple gun in her office slash red Jeep.
[6:32] Speaker 2: No, I loved her office time.
[6:34] Speaker 3: Erica meets her and they have a coffee date because
[6:37] Speaker 3: on street cleaning days, Carol works from her car so
[6:39] Speaker 3: she can move it.
[6:42] Speaker 1: You know that Carol can afford a parking space, but
[6:44] Speaker 1: she's got like prime parking space right in front of
[6:47] Speaker 1: her apartment. She just has to get in there, pull out,
[6:51] Speaker 1: let the street sweep her by, and then she backs in.
[6:54] Speaker 1: But did you see somebody just pulling into her parking space?
[6:57] Speaker 2: Trying to get her spot. She's like, hell no.
[7:01] Speaker 1: And you know she can afford one. What freaks me
[7:03] Speaker 1: out the most is she turned her kitchen into an office.
[7:07] Speaker 1: Does that mean like she took her appliance out?
[7:09] Speaker 2: No, they showed a little picture of it.
[7:12] Speaker 3: It's just like the side of her kitchen, there's like
[7:14] Speaker 3: a little desk.
[7:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, but she said she turned her kitchen back into
[7:19] Speaker 1: a kitchen when she remodeled, even though she doesn't cook.
[7:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it wasn't much of like, it wasn't
[7:26] Speaker 2: like a home office more.
[7:28] Speaker 3: It was still a kitchen. But I guess she's just
[7:31] Speaker 3: utilizing it a touch more. But I feel like we're
[7:36] Speaker 3: starting to get more of a feel from Carol and
[7:40] Speaker 3: how she's feeling doing back as she's sitting there discussing
[7:43] Speaker 3: things with Erica. Yeah. Until she's trying to get back
[7:46] Speaker 3: into the mix. She's like, okay, tell me what's going on.
[7:49] Speaker 2: Here's this. But everybody that Erica knows, she's like, well,
[7:53] Speaker 2: I met her through Martha.
[7:54] Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody knows Martha Stewart, I.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Guess, right? Yeah, she's like, I met her through Martha.
[8:01] Speaker 3: Then Carol has gone on with two guys who auditioned
[8:04] Speaker 3: to play her late husband on Love Story.
[8:08] Speaker 1: That's interesting.
[8:10] Speaker 2: Don't you think?
[8:10] Speaker 1: Like all the guys in New York City, are they
[8:13] Speaker 1: all trying to be actors or they just all go
[8:15] Speaker 1: after her to get information from her to do better?
[8:20] Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think she's an attractive woman.
[8:23] Speaker 1: No, but I'm saying it's just two guys that are
[8:25] Speaker 1: auditioning for something that's very close to her. Yeah. Do
[8:30] Speaker 1: you think like she found, they found her on a
[8:32] Speaker 1: dating app or something?
[8:33] Speaker 2: Well, I think everyone knows who she is. Yeah.
[8:38] Speaker 1: But do you think they went, what I'm saying is,
[8:39] Speaker 1: did they.
[8:40] Speaker 2: Go after her?
[8:41] Speaker 3: Yeah. I think once they see her, they're like, hell yes.
[8:44] Speaker 3: Especially with how much traction Love Story has been getting.
[8:47] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
[8:49] Speaker 1: Well, they didn't know that at the time. It was
[8:51] Speaker 1: just a thought. They were just casting for it. I
[8:53] Speaker 1: just feel like as soon as they cast for it,
[8:55] Speaker 1: they like hit her up on Raya and was like, hey,
[8:58] Speaker 1: let's go out. I need to do some research.
[9:00] Speaker 3: What about how her agent calls when they're in the
[9:03] Speaker 3: middle of their meeting?
[9:04] Speaker 2: I know.
[9:05] Speaker 3: And she's like, yeah, just good news. It's back on
[9:09] Speaker 3: the bestsellers list.
[9:10] Speaker 1: I know. And it's all because of Love Story.
[9:14] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[9:14] Speaker 1: They want to go back and read that.
[9:16] Speaker 3: So it's called What Remains. I'm hitting the bestseller list.
[9:20] Speaker 3: So I will say.
[9:21] Speaker 1: That the group actually seems connected outside of the show.
[9:25] Speaker 1: So it makes for a better show like Rhode Island,
[9:27] Speaker 1: like everybody knew each other.
[9:28] Speaker 2: Yeah. So everybody knows each other.
[9:31] Speaker 3: Then we after we see like this kind of meeting
[9:34] Speaker 3: scene that kind of made me laugh with Erica and
[9:38] Speaker 3: Carol and in the car and all that.
[9:40] Speaker 2: I mean, the thing is, that's her real life.
[9:43] Speaker 3: Yeah. Like Erica made a joke and was like, why
[9:46] Speaker 3: can't she afford a parking spot?
[9:48] Speaker 2: I would get one.
[9:49] Speaker 1: Well, Eric is married to a billionaire, but I don't
[9:51] Speaker 1: think that Carol's, you know, poor in any way. She's
[9:55] Speaker 1: not hurting for money. I think it's just, it's logical.
[9:58] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[9:58] Speaker 1: Parking in New York to, I'm sure it's expensive.
[10:01] Speaker 2: Yeah. And she's like, why not? I can do this.
[10:04] Speaker 1: I can park right in front of my house. Once
[10:06] Speaker 1: a week, I can go out there and move it.
[10:07] Speaker 2: It's not that bad.
[10:09] Speaker 1: Right.
[10:09] Speaker 3: Unlike me who, when I was younger and I lived
[10:11] Speaker 3: like on, I think it was Cochran street. Um, I
[10:15] Speaker 3: would never, I would never remember to move my car
[10:19] Speaker 3: and street days. I would get so many tickets that
[10:22] Speaker 3: then they would just end up towing it.
[10:24] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
[10:25] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[10:26] Speaker 1: Well, then we get to Aaron who gets devastating news
[10:29] Speaker 1: and I've been in this spot. Not as bad as
[10:31] Speaker 1: hers though. Her house, the Hamptons had a pipe burst
[10:35] Speaker 1: and it was flooded and it looks kind of like
[10:37] Speaker 1: a total loss. Like they're going to have to gut that.
[10:41] Speaker 3: I mean, I think the part that's so crazy is like,
[10:44] Speaker 3: imagine if she didn't have her realtor go over there
[10:47] Speaker 3: to try to rent it out.
[10:49] Speaker 1: Oh, well, it would have been, it would have been
[10:52] Speaker 1: how they'd have to rip it down to the complete
[10:54] Speaker 1: studs because the mold would have been so bad. I
[10:56] Speaker 1: think somebody would have seen water draining out of it
[10:58] Speaker 1: or something. Or even the cities, like why, what is
[11:02] Speaker 1: going on here? Like here in Big Bear, if our
[11:04] Speaker 1: water's running somewhere outside, they contact us. But this is
[11:09] Speaker 1: not good. I mean, she just renovated it two years
[11:12] Speaker 1: ago and then found out the day of Jocelyn's party
[11:16] Speaker 1: that it got flooded. The good on the bright side, well,
[11:19] Speaker 1: she gets a redo and the insurance company is probably
[11:21] Speaker 1: going to pay for most of it where they're just
[11:23] Speaker 1: going to renovate the entire house now.
[11:26] Speaker 2: But she's like, for her, it's so much about the memories. Oh,
[11:30] Speaker 2: for sure. She's like, here's all my picture boxes. Here's
[11:33] Speaker 2: like the, you know.
[11:35] Speaker 3: my what my daughter they didn't.
[11:38] Speaker 1: Look too destroyed though I feel like they could been
[11:42] Speaker 1: you know.
[11:42] Speaker 3: Yeah I mean the rooms look destroyed there's no tops
[11:47] Speaker 3: to any of the rooms at this point but the
[11:50] Speaker 3: fact that.
[11:50] Speaker 1: It had mold already makes me believe that it happened
[11:55] Speaker 1: a while ago like water destroys shit destroys it warps
[12:00] Speaker 1: wood mold all that stuff it's the worst and I've
[12:02] Speaker 1: had like Three floods. My kitchen flooded after renovating it.
[12:07] Speaker 3: You could see it's affecting her and her husband. Like
[12:09] Speaker 3: he's like, oh, my gosh. He's like, Aaron, you got
[12:11] Speaker 3: to look at the worst part.
[12:13] Speaker 2: And he takes her over to where they like have
[12:14] Speaker 2: been measuring their kids every year. It made me sad.
[12:18] Speaker 1: They could cut that out of the wall.
[12:19] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[12:20] Speaker 3: It made me kind of sad because it was like,
[12:23] Speaker 3: you know, they love that place. That's their happy place.
[12:25] Speaker 3: That's where they get away. And now it's going to
[12:28] Speaker 3: be years before they can do that again.
[12:32] Speaker 1: I'm curious to see how bad the damage is, if
[12:34] Speaker 1: it's a total take it down to the studs or
[12:38] Speaker 1: they can dry it out.
[12:40] Speaker 3: So they're in an Equinox, and she also has a
[12:42] Speaker 3: program called Knockout that she does at Equinox.
[12:45] Speaker 1: So she's been boxing her whole life, right? Is that
[12:48] Speaker 1: what she said?
[12:48] Speaker 2: She was like 14, I think. And then... Haley and
[12:54] Speaker 2: Daisy come to take her class.
[12:55] Speaker 1: They're like, hell no. My exercise is running up and
[12:58] Speaker 1: down the escalator at Bloomingdale's. And by the way, she's like,
[13:02] Speaker 1: they're both thin as hell, right?
[13:04] Speaker 3: Well, like Haley hasn't washed her hair in like six
[13:07] Speaker 3: months during this.
[13:09] Speaker 2: Unless she wet it down for this.
[13:11] Speaker 3: Why?
[13:11] Speaker 1: Why do you say that? Did it look greasy?
[13:13] Speaker 2: It was so, it was like wet.
[13:15] Speaker 3: Unless she did the wet look, it was wet.
[13:18] Speaker 1: I didn't notice that.
[13:19] Speaker 3: She kept her sunglasses on. Um, Erica even had to
[13:22] Speaker 3: ask her, please take your sunglasses on. And then she
[13:24] Speaker 3: had them on again later. And then, um, Daisy is
[13:31] Speaker 3: like dying. She's like, this is so hard, but yet
[13:33] Speaker 3: doesn't take her sweatshirt off. Then after the class, you know,
[13:37] Speaker 3: they go right over to the side, sit down and, um,
[13:42] Speaker 3: they want to discuss the drama.
[13:43] Speaker 1: Uh, about Jess's party.
[13:46] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[13:47] Speaker 2: And Haley has a lot to say.
[13:50] Speaker 1: Well, Aaron started shit by telling Allison the boob story.
[13:53] Speaker 1: And she thinks she's a pot stirrer. And then we
[13:57] Speaker 1: find out they're not speaking right now. I mean, I
[13:59] Speaker 1: don't completely understand this. Because all Aaron did was say, like,
[14:03] Speaker 1: were you the girl that did it with the boob?
[14:06] Speaker 2: Big deal. Yeah. Like, if it was years, you know,
[14:10] Speaker 2: because now Haley's saying it was years ago. And, you know,
[14:13] Speaker 2: if it was a secret. And then say like, don't
[14:17] Speaker 2: bring this up or whatever.
[14:18] Speaker 3: I mean, it also, I feel like Aaron was doing
[14:20] Speaker 3: it just to show like I'm in the know with
[14:22] Speaker 3: what's going on. Yeah. I think.
[14:25] Speaker 1: Well, it's what we all do on these reality shows
[14:28] Speaker 1: and what we're paid to do is somebody gives you
[14:30] Speaker 1: some information and you go and talk about it.
[14:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[14:33] Speaker 3: But then she says she's into lavender marriage and Aaron
[14:36] Speaker 3: lives a plain vanilla life. She, she says she blacks
[14:41] Speaker 3: out when Aaron talks because she's so boring. She's, strawberry
[14:46] Speaker 3: jam to her.
[14:49] Speaker 2: Listen, I love strawberry jam.
[14:51] Speaker 1: I prefer raspberry, but whatever. Do you think Aaron's boring?
[14:57] Speaker 1: I don't think Aaron's boring at all.
[14:59] Speaker 3: I think without Aaron, we would not really have much
[15:01] Speaker 3: of a show.
[15:02] Speaker 2: I know.
[15:03] Speaker 1: I mean, Aaron's kind of the star of the show.
[15:05] Speaker 1: I think that Aaron's married. She's got four kids. You know,
[15:09] Speaker 1: she's very settled down. Where Haley does live a much
[15:12] Speaker 1: different life where she's in this... kind of open marriage
[15:17] Speaker 1: and she's dating women and married and that's not the norm.
[15:21] Speaker 3: What about when she did the shade I thought it
[15:24] Speaker 3: was also to Carol she goes I'd rather read Carol's.
[15:27] Speaker 2: Book than talk to Aaron I know I was like.
[15:31] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah I know that was kind of kind of
[15:35] Speaker 1: rude because she's on the New York's best time seller
[15:37] Speaker 1: list so take that yeah.
[15:40] Speaker 3: Like I want to read the book yeah um Then
[15:44] Speaker 3: Sai is getting, so that kind of ends, but you
[15:46] Speaker 3: see where it's going because clearly Haley's got some big
[15:50] Speaker 3: issues with Aaron.
[15:53] Speaker 1: So.
[15:54] Speaker 2: Big giant issues. Big giant issues.
[15:56] Speaker 1: First world problems.
[15:58] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like she's, she made a joke and it was
[16:01] Speaker 2: not the right joke. And now we're going to just
[16:03] Speaker 2: tear to shreds.
[16:04] Speaker 1: Now we're going to beat a dead horse.
[16:06] Speaker 2: Yeah. But we see Cy.
[16:11] Speaker 1: Trying to get her financials in order after, you know,
[16:14] Speaker 1: separating from her husband. And I think that's like a
[16:17] Speaker 1: lot of reason why people do stay together is because
[16:20] Speaker 1: they have businesses together and do all these things. Like
[16:23] Speaker 1: she's like, shit, I don't know what he's going to
[16:24] Speaker 1: ask for. I don't know what he wants.
[16:27] Speaker 3: But I almost peed my pants when they panned to
[16:29] Speaker 3: like her piece of paper and it had three things
[16:31] Speaker 3: written on it.
[16:32] Speaker 1: Like, Oh, I didn't notice that.
[16:36] Speaker 3: Like it looked like she was like jotting down all
[16:38] Speaker 3: this information and then they panned to the piece of
[16:41] Speaker 3: paper and it's seriously like three thing.
[16:43] Speaker 2: It's like financials. Wow. With like a curly Q on top.
[16:48] Speaker 1: Well, she did say the one thing she has learned
[16:50] Speaker 1: from this is her next husband. She will definitely have
[16:53] Speaker 1: a prenup.
[16:54] Speaker 3: Well, because she doesn't have them currently, but also it
[16:57] Speaker 3: made me wonder like, oh, she's already thinking about having
[17:00] Speaker 3: a next husband.
[17:01] Speaker 2: I know. I know.
[17:02] Speaker 1: Did you catch the, which one was it? Was it
[17:04] Speaker 1: Haley or Daisy? The walk up Taco Bell?
[17:09] Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
[17:09] Speaker 2: She's like, bye.
[17:12] Speaker 1: I've never seen like a walk up Taco Bell just
[17:16] Speaker 1: on the street like that.
[17:17] Speaker 2: Well, that's what they have to do in New York.
[17:19] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[17:19] Speaker 1: I thought it was kind of cool even though I
[17:21] Speaker 1: don't go to Taco Bell.
[17:23] Speaker 2: I liked it. And she, you know, I was surprised
[17:26] Speaker 2: she didn't roller skate through there.
[17:27] Speaker 1: I love seeing that.
[17:29] Speaker 2: I know. I love seeing it too.
[17:32] Speaker 3: But I was kind of wondering, like when she was
[17:35] Speaker 3: talking about all her financial stuff, I'm like, how much
[17:38] Speaker 3: is she going to have to pay out this ex-husband?
[17:41] Speaker 1: Well, who knows? I think she's going to have to
[17:45] Speaker 1: split things. For sure.
[17:47] Speaker 3: I mean, she's going to go from shopping at the
[17:50] Speaker 3: RealReal to selling.
[17:52] Speaker 1: Yeah, selling at the RealReal.
[17:55] Speaker 2: That's not going to be pretty.
[17:56] Speaker 1: Well, what about we get a bit of Daisy at
[18:00] Speaker 1: home with Eugene and Quentin.
[18:03] Speaker 3: I feel like Eugene is me. Like that is how
[18:06] Speaker 3: type a I am about stuff. Like I'm like, hold
[18:08] Speaker 3: on to the water. It's gotta be right here. It
[18:10] Speaker 3: can't be right here.
[18:11] Speaker 1: It's gotta be here. I don't think you were like
[18:15] Speaker 1: this with Edwin, but he is very type a Daisy
[18:19] Speaker 1: is not. Their communication seems like it could use some
[18:22] Speaker 1: work for sure, but she has to put doggy cameras
[18:25] Speaker 1: and to see what's happening and having to, um, Asked
[18:30] Speaker 1: to open up a bottle of wine. I mean, I'm
[18:33] Speaker 1: going to open up a bottle of wine. No, you
[18:36] Speaker 1: can have some. It's like, and to me, I can
[18:38] Speaker 1: read between the lines.
[18:39] Speaker 2: What if I make it very cold and bubbly? And
[18:41] Speaker 2: then it was red wine. So I got even more confused.
[18:43] Speaker 1: Bubbly red wine. And it's like, I know that tone.
[18:47] Speaker 1: And it's like, yeah, you can. No judgment there. Yeah.
[18:52] Speaker 2: I get a little bit of rut row when I
[18:54] Speaker 2: watch them. Yeah.
[18:56] Speaker 1: It's a little bit of Paul and Adrian Maloof.
[18:59] Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, but at this point in time, I think
[19:03] Speaker 3: that Eugene, we're just seeing, like, he's a good dad.
[19:05] Speaker 2: He's, you know, grilling. He's helping his son do his.
[19:11] Speaker 2: Spelling bee stuff.
[19:12] Speaker 1: I need to see Eugene working, cutting hair. Cause I
[19:16] Speaker 1: just look at him and I think you're just not
[19:18] Speaker 1: the type that cuts hair.
[19:19] Speaker 2: He's in finance to me. Yeah.
[19:22] Speaker 1: I mean, it's not because he doesn't have any hair.
[19:23] Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, but it's just like, doesn't look
[19:26] Speaker 1: like the guy that's working in a salon.
[19:28] Speaker 2: I know.
[19:29] Speaker 1: I don't say finance for sure.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in finance.
[19:32] Speaker 1: Can't judge a book by its cover.
[19:35] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[19:36] Speaker 3: But he is essentially wanting Daisy to narrow down her
[19:42] Speaker 3: dates and be more specific. And she's pretty much like,
[19:45] Speaker 3: I'm on Martha's time schedule.
[19:48] Speaker 1: Her life revolves around Martha's.
[19:50] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[19:51] Speaker 1: She's her number one priority. God, wouldn't it be nice
[19:53] Speaker 1: to have makeup or glam? It's like, you're my priority.
[19:57] Speaker 2: I will do anything.
[20:00] Speaker 1: I'm scrambling to get glam for the reunion because my.
[20:06] Speaker 1: Normal girl is out of town. So I was like,
[20:10] Speaker 1: can you help me? So she helped me find somebody,
[20:13] Speaker 1: which she works with Kyle and, and, um, and now
[20:17] Speaker 1: they're trying to change the date. I'm like, Whoa, wait
[20:19] Speaker 1: a minute.
[20:21] Speaker 2: No, no, we got this. Um, but I think it
[20:27] Speaker 2: shows a lot.
[20:28] Speaker 3: I think he didn't end up having that glass of
[20:31] Speaker 3: wine with her, but she did end up opening it.
[20:33] Speaker 2: They're continuing to talk.
[20:35] Speaker 3: She doesn't seem to want to budge on, like, I
[20:37] Speaker 3: don't have more than a week's notice for anything. He's
[20:40] Speaker 3: trying to plan something that's like a month in advance.
[20:43] Speaker 3: And he's like, she's like, that's way too far.
[20:47] Speaker 1: That's kind of annoying, too. Yeah. Like, can you just
[20:50] Speaker 1: say no to Martha? Are you so worried she's going
[20:52] Speaker 1: to go somewhere else?
[20:54] Speaker 2: And if she's like one of your best friends, then.
[20:57] Speaker 1: Say, listen, I have a trip planned. I'm doing this.
[21:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I found that a little bit odd.
[21:15] Speaker 2: Then Daisy has planned a girl's lunch to celebrate Psy.
[21:19] Speaker 1: And Psy's like, I'm confused. Why are we celebrating me?
[21:23] Speaker 1: What is there to celebrate?
[21:24] Speaker 3: Well, before they even get to the celebration, um, Eugene
[21:30] Speaker 3: calls to make sure that all the electricity is off
[21:33] Speaker 3: and the door is locked.
[21:34] Speaker 1: And Daisy's like, I left the gas on and the
[21:37] Speaker 1: curling iron. Deal with it.
[21:41] Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh.
[21:44] Speaker 1: What about Erica saying that she's so paranoid sleeping alone
[21:48] Speaker 1: that she puts her husband's prize watches outside of her
[21:53] Speaker 1: bedroom door in case she gets robbed?
[21:56] Speaker 2: And her wedding rings? I don't know. I don't know
[21:58] Speaker 2: if it was a wedding ring. Yeah, she took her
[21:59] Speaker 2: rings off and put them on top.
[22:02] Speaker 1: Oh, so her wedding rings?
[22:03] Speaker 2: I knew there were rings.
[22:03] Speaker 1: I didn't know if there were wedding rings.
[22:04] Speaker 3: Jeez. And then she sleeps with a big, like, I
[22:08] Speaker 3: don't even know what kind of knife that is, like
[22:09] Speaker 3: a big cutting knife.
[22:11] Speaker 1: Like a machete?
[22:13] Speaker 2: It was like this big. I was like, holy shit.
[22:16] Speaker 2: It was like, you like my little knife right here?
[22:18] Speaker 2: But it was a ginormous version.
[22:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, I know somebody else that lives in my house
[22:21] Speaker 1: that has a big machete by the bed. Oh my God.
[22:28] Speaker 3: But yeah, like I think that she's, I think Sai's
[22:33] Speaker 3: making a lot of sense when she's like, what are
[22:35] Speaker 3: we celebrating?
[22:36] Speaker 2: She's like, but here's the thing. This drama is going
[22:38] Speaker 2: to keep me thinking about something else.
[22:41] Speaker 1: Well, she's not celebrating the fact that Carol doesn't remember her.
[22:46] Speaker 2: Carol's like, huh?
[22:48] Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, we met several times. huh, yeah, I
[22:52] Speaker 1: don't remember that. And then she's like, oh, yes, I
[22:56] Speaker 1: remember that.
[22:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, well, she's like gave her little hints. Well, she
[22:59] Speaker 3: remembered the first time they met and then she's like,
[23:02] Speaker 3: what about?
[23:03] Speaker 2: And then she's like, hmm.
[23:07] Speaker 1: This Daisy bringing up Quentin's hot tutor. Oh, I don't
[23:11] Speaker 1: think this is going to go well for her.
[23:13] Speaker 2: No.
[23:13] Speaker 1: When her husband sees it. So he texts her having
[23:16] Speaker 1: a crush on a married woman is making me helplessly Stupid.
[23:21] Speaker 1: And she hearted it. And he had more to say
[23:23] Speaker 1: because the rest of it was read at the lunch.
[23:27] Speaker 1: And I'm like, everyone's like, why are you engaging in this?
[23:31] Speaker 2: I feel like Daisy's teaching a thing or two to
[23:34] Speaker 2: the tutor.
[23:36] Speaker 1: Sounds like it.
[23:37] Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, I don't know that I would want to
[23:40] Speaker 3: be sharing that. And also, why are you keeping him
[23:42] Speaker 3: the tutor?
[23:45] Speaker 1: Well, then she said something along the lines that she
[23:48] Speaker 1: just ghosted him. But then the girl said, you hearted it.
[23:52] Speaker 1: And Sai had no problem bringing it up, bringing up
[23:54] Speaker 1: the tutor, the way that she hearted it. I think
[23:58] Speaker 1: her husband's going to freak.
[24:00] Speaker 3: I mean, maybe he's just particular about the way things
[24:02] Speaker 3: are in the house. Maybe he's not a super jealous guy.
[24:05] Speaker 1: So he doesn't care that she's flirting with her son's tutor.
[24:11] Speaker 1: And how old is this tutor?
[24:14] Speaker 3: I think she said 28. Did I hear that correct?
[24:18] Speaker 3: But I mean, definitely is odd.
[24:22] Speaker 1: We did learn that Carol hates brunch.
[24:26] Speaker 2: She hates brunch. She likes breakfast.
[24:28] Speaker 1: She doesn't need to drink mimosas with her eggs.
[24:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, she doesn't like that.
[24:32] Speaker 1: I'm like, what better time?
[24:33] Speaker 2: I love brunch.
[24:35] Speaker 3: Brunch is my favorite meal ever.
[24:37] Speaker 1: I do too.
[24:39] Speaker 2: I'd much rather go to a brunch than a dinner.
[24:42] Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
[24:43] Speaker 1: A couple of weeks ago and I want to make
[24:44] Speaker 1: them today.
[24:45] Speaker 2: Chili killies. Oh, yum. So good.
[24:49] Speaker 1: I just like, I want to make something new and
[24:52] Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, let's, and I just, I just winged it.
[24:54] Speaker 1: I didn't even look at a recipe and it was
[24:56] Speaker 1: pretty damn good. I'm going to make it after this
[24:59] Speaker 1: for brunch.
[25:00] Speaker 3: Nice.
[25:01] Speaker 1: But I don't have any champagne. Drink whiskey. We are
[25:07] Speaker 1: in the mountains.
[25:08] Speaker 3: You know. You are living it up in the mountains,
[25:12] Speaker 3: so anything goes there.
[25:13] Speaker 1: I could stay here right now. I'm like, I don't
[25:15] Speaker 1: even want to go home.
[25:16] Speaker 2: I feel so nice.
[25:19] Speaker 3: Then Aaron makes a speech and only does a dig
[25:22] Speaker 3: about being kicked out of the party if you weren't friends.
[25:27] Speaker 1: I liked her speech. I don't blame Aaron for a speech.
[25:31] Speaker 1: Jessel did her speech and it was kind of like
[25:35] Speaker 1: tit for tat.
[25:36] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
[25:38] Speaker 3: Carol corroborates that Aaron called Jessel obnoxious, desperate, and thirsty.
[25:42] Speaker 3: This is after they kind of talked through what the
[25:45] Speaker 3: things are that she said. And then Carol's like, well,
[25:47] Speaker 3: and also on another time when I was there.
[25:51] Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Jessel keeps calling her a cockroach.
[25:53] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[25:54] Speaker 2: I mean, it's not like she's being nice about it.
[25:55] Speaker 1: Jessel didn't do herself any favors this episode.
[25:59] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[26:00] Speaker 1: At the end, I'm like, no, no. Did you happen
[26:04] Speaker 1: to see that John Gosling... was at the premiere party
[26:08] Speaker 1: in the Hamptons for The Real Housewives of New York.
[26:12] Speaker 2: No. So they're still friends?
[26:14] Speaker 1: Well, she said that he was a family friend, like
[26:17] Speaker 1: his mom's friend. So obviously there's no bad blood because
[26:20] Speaker 1: he was there. Do you think he's going to make
[26:21] Speaker 1: an appearance maybe?
[26:22] Speaker 3: No.
[26:23] Speaker 1: I bet you he does. I bet you he does
[26:26] Speaker 1: because there's been talk about it. He shows up to
[26:28] Speaker 1: the premiere party. I think we're going to see a
[26:30] Speaker 1: little John Gosling. Well, you know. We're lucky Kate plus
[26:33] Speaker 1: eight will be right behind him.
[26:35] Speaker 3: Then Kate plus eight. Then, I mean, I think I
[26:38] Speaker 3: can't even imagine John Gosling being on there, but who knows?
[26:40] Speaker 2: You never know. Stranger things have happened.
[26:43] Speaker 3: But I feel like when they're talking about Jessel and Aaron,
[26:49] Speaker 3: we see a softer side about Jessel and Aaron that
[26:52] Speaker 3: I didn't even realize.
[26:53] Speaker 2: We didn't.
[26:54] Speaker 3: It had like some bonding over their parents and they
[26:56] Speaker 3: were talking and then all of a sudden Jessel just
[26:59] Speaker 3: stops talking to Aaron. And so that's when Aaron just
[27:01] Speaker 3: goes to just, taken it as far as she can
[27:06] Speaker 3: talking about Jessel well she made.
[27:08] Speaker 1: Her sound like she's kind of like one of those
[27:10] Speaker 1: people that if you're somebody I want to be around
[27:13] Speaker 1: you so when Aaron throws out that Jessel was rude
[27:15] Speaker 1: to her dermatologist at her Moscow party but after Jessel
[27:18] Speaker 1: realized who it was she changed her tune and now
[27:22] Speaker 1: goes to him like a social climber maybe or do
[27:26] Speaker 1: you think this is just a tit.
[27:28] Speaker 3: For tat I think probably Jessel doesn't give that warm,
[27:34] Speaker 3: fuzzy feeling to new people. And probably once wanted to
[27:39] Speaker 3: go to Aaron's or Martha's or whomever it is.
[27:43] Speaker 1: Well, Aaron looks amazing. So whatever she's doing, can I
[27:47] Speaker 1: have two, please?
[27:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll have some of that, please.
[27:51] Speaker 3: But I think that she.
[27:53] Speaker 2: I think that there's definitely some.
[27:59] Speaker 3: Where they thought there was water under the bridge and
[28:01] Speaker 3: thought that they had moved through it. And then they realized, nope,
[28:04] Speaker 3: we're back on a show. We're back doing this. We
[28:07] Speaker 3: can't be too close.
[28:08] Speaker 1: Well, what I do know, even from my own show,
[28:10] Speaker 1: which I can't speak on, but you can read between
[28:14] Speaker 1: the lines. There's certain people on cast that they don't
[28:18] Speaker 1: like you so much that they will find anything to
[28:22] Speaker 1: pick you apart and make it a bigger deal than
[28:25] Speaker 1: what it is.
[28:26] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[28:26] Speaker 1: And I think it could be a situation like that.
[28:28] Speaker 1: Like she, can you believe she went to my dermatologist
[28:31] Speaker 1: to get Botox?
[28:33] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[28:33] Speaker 3: Can she, she was rude to him at the party.
[28:36] Speaker 3: And then just was like, well, yeah, I still go
[28:38] Speaker 3: to him.
[28:39] Speaker 2: Yeah. What's the point.
[28:42] Speaker 3: But then Haley then confronts Aaron about telling Allison the
[28:46] Speaker 3: boob story.
[28:47] Speaker 2: And Aaron's like, this kind of feels like a pile on.
[28:50] Speaker 1: This kind of reminds me of. Heather Dubrow in our
[28:55] Speaker 1: season now, because she had said at one point, I
[28:57] Speaker 1: think it was in Vegas, like, do I need to
[28:58] Speaker 1: apologize to the waiter? Does anybody else need to come up?
[29:02] Speaker 1: And then Aaron talking about it as a deli worker. Hey,
[29:06] Speaker 1: number seven, what would you like to say about me?
[29:08] Speaker 2: Am I a bitch? Am I right? Number eight.
[29:11] Speaker 1: What do you have to say?
[29:13] Speaker 2: Can I have that with a side of pastrami?
[29:15] Speaker 3: Yes.
[29:15] Speaker 1: Do you want an apology?
[29:17] Speaker 2: But I do like that she can, I mean, she
[29:19] Speaker 2: takes it.
[29:21] Speaker 1: Why aren't these shows do you feel like I mean
[29:26] Speaker 1: Housewives shows that they target one person and just beat
[29:32] Speaker 1: it to a dead horse well even if there's a
[29:34] Speaker 1: million other things going on they just want to I
[29:38] Speaker 1: mean I thought.
[29:38] Speaker 3: The whole point of this lunch was for Cy to
[29:42] Speaker 3: share what was going on in her life.
[29:44] Speaker 2: I really thought that that's what this lunch was for.
[29:46] Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. I thought, oh, my gosh, she's going
[29:49] Speaker 1: through a divorce. Let's just rally around her or not
[29:52] Speaker 1: even a divorce, just separation at this point.
[29:54] Speaker 3: Right. And.
[29:56] Speaker 2: No, not all the women know about it. And nobody
[29:58] Speaker 2: said anything about it.
[29:59] Speaker 3: I thought Cy was going to tell all of them.
[30:01] Speaker 2: And that's why.
[30:02] Speaker 1: There's a couple of them going.
[30:03] Speaker 2: I don't even know why I'm here. Yeah. Some of
[30:05] Speaker 2: them did. And then when Carol laughs, she goes, happy birthday, Cy.
[30:11] Speaker 2: I know.
[30:11] Speaker 3: Right.
[30:12] Speaker 1: Well, don't worry, because Daisy switches it up and ask
[30:15] Speaker 1: Carol about love story, which is kind of like row, row.
[30:18] Speaker 1: Carol getting, you know, right back into the mix. And
[30:22] Speaker 1: she is, she's a different Carol for sure. She is
[30:25] Speaker 1: being a lot more open than she has in the past.
[30:28] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[30:28] Speaker 1: I don't know if we talked about it, but on
[30:29] Speaker 1: Watch What Happens Live, she said that the difference between
[30:33] Speaker 1: Carol in the early days of Roni compared to now
[30:37] Speaker 1: is she's the show drunk this year. What? And she
[30:40] Speaker 1: didn't drink.
[30:40] Speaker 2: She used the word drunk? Yeah.
[30:42] Speaker 1: And she did not drink much or at all in
[30:46] Speaker 1: the early days.
[30:48] Speaker 2: Well, she's probably had a drink to get through it.
[30:50] Speaker 2: But Jessel interjects to ask if Caroline Bessette was a bitch.
[30:54] Speaker 3: And you can see at this point, this is when
[30:57] Speaker 3: Carol's eyes like switch.
[30:59] Speaker 1: What a horrible thing to say.
[31:02] Speaker 2: Like that is her best friend who passed away.
[31:05] Speaker 1: Like that is just a horrible thing to say. I mean,
[31:09] Speaker 1: there's different ways you could have worded it.
[31:12] Speaker 2: Like, you know, I don't know. Like, what was she like?
[31:15] Speaker 1: What was she like? Was she lovely? Like, did the
[31:18] Speaker 1: press hound her? Like, all these things.
[31:21] Speaker 3: Did you think that the show was true to life? Like,
[31:24] Speaker 3: how much were we actually saying? Like, there could have
[31:26] Speaker 3: been a million ways to say it.
[31:28] Speaker 1: Then she doubles down and goes, do you think there's
[31:31] Speaker 1: a curse on the family?
[31:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[31:33] Speaker 1: She was married to somebody in that family that passed away.
[31:36] Speaker 1: You're going to say, is it a curse that made
[31:37] Speaker 1: him pass away?
[31:39] Speaker 2: Yeah. And then even after Carol admits, she's like, you
[31:42] Speaker 2: know what?
[31:42] Speaker 3: I don't like this whole Carolyn Bessette summer type thing.
[31:47] Speaker 2: And then she's like, why? You're dressed just like her
[31:49] Speaker 2: right now.
[31:50] Speaker 1: She was just flat out rude.
[31:51] Speaker 3: Yeah. And then I think that Carol wanted to blow up.
[31:58] Speaker 3: But instead, she was just like, I'm going to leave.
[32:01] Speaker 1: I think, you know, even in her early days and Roni,
[32:04] Speaker 1: she didn't really want to talk about the Kennedy's. No,
[32:08] Speaker 1: she didn't really like it. And I'm sure the Kennedys
[32:10] Speaker 1: didn't want her talking about them.
[32:13] Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, why would I think it doesn't behoove
[32:16] Speaker 3: her to talk about that?
[32:17] Speaker 1: If you were Carol, would you have watched Love Story?
[32:21] Speaker 2: I don't know if I could have. I understood what
[32:23] Speaker 2: she said.
[32:23] Speaker 3: She said I was with one of our best friends
[32:25] Speaker 3: and we watched about five minutes of it.
[32:27] Speaker 2: And then that was all we could take.
[32:29] Speaker 3: Because I did hear that what we saw was very
[32:31] Speaker 3: different than the truth.
[32:33] Speaker 2: And it probably does get frustrating sometimes.
[32:35] Speaker 1: Well, I do remember there was... I did watch it.
[32:38] Speaker 1: And there was a scene where they were all at
[32:41] Speaker 1: the grandmother's house. And they're at a table. And there
[32:44] Speaker 1: was a girl there. Her name was Carol.
[32:46] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[32:47] Speaker 1: And I don't know if that was supposed to be Carol.
[32:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know either.
[32:51] Speaker 1: Or somebody else. Yeah. But.
[32:55] Speaker 3: It kind of, it just leaves you feeling like a
[32:58] Speaker 3: little on edge about this conversation. Like, I don't think
[33:01] Speaker 3: that Jessel is going to stop with this. I think
[33:04] Speaker 3: Jessel is going to keep prodding because she knows she
[33:06] Speaker 3: hit a hot spot.
[33:07] Speaker 2: She had like.
[33:08] Speaker 1: This very weird look on her face when she was
[33:11] Speaker 1: asking these questions. Like, I know this is going to
[33:14] Speaker 1: cause problems. Yeah. Like there was zero compassion. Carol loved
[33:18] Speaker 1: her husband best friends.
[33:20] Speaker 3: They show her in a scene before and she's like,
[33:22] Speaker 3: I want you to think everything Carol and Bessette.
[33:25] Speaker 2: Everything. Yeah.
[33:28] Speaker 3: So it's almost like she's just a little, a little obsessed.
[33:31] Speaker 2: A little obsessed.
[33:33] Speaker 1: And then doing what she was not having it. And
[33:36] Speaker 1: she just decides like, I want to go home before
[33:38] Speaker 1: the titty show. I'm just going to get out of here.
[33:40] Speaker 1: I can't even stay with Jessel. I can't even watch
[33:43] Speaker 1: the show.
[33:43] Speaker 2: I'm out.
[33:45] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[33:45] Speaker 2: She's done.
[33:46] Speaker 3: I think she's somebody that she's like, I'll only.
[33:48] Speaker 2: Put up with so much. And then I'm out of here.
[33:51] Speaker 1: Well, I think she wanted to kill her.
[33:52] Speaker 2: Yeah. Clearly.
[33:54] Speaker 3: She's like, shut up, Jessel. Um, but then they, they
[33:57] Speaker 3: start to have a little bit of the show. And
[33:59] Speaker 3: during this, even though Jessel and Aaron squash things, Erica clocks,
[34:04] Speaker 3: Aaron talking shit about Jessel to Daisy and thinks maybe
[34:08] Speaker 3: Jessel was right about her.
[34:10] Speaker 2: This is actually pretty funny. I mean, we're at the
[34:12] Speaker 2: same event.
[34:13] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[34:14] Speaker 2: And clearly what happened is we know what she said.
[34:17] Speaker 1: Cause I don't know what she said. What was Aaron?
[34:19] Speaker 2: Pretty much the same kind of things.
[34:21] Speaker 3: But I think what happened was Daisy was trying to
[34:23] Speaker 3: get the backstory and And so Aaron was just telling her. So, like,
[34:27] Speaker 3: I said this and this and this and this, but, like,
[34:29] Speaker 3: we couldn't.
[34:30] Speaker 2: Hear all that.
[34:30] Speaker 1: That's not really talking shit. I think that's just.
[34:32] Speaker 2: She was giving her the rundown. Yeah. But it came
[34:35] Speaker 2: off as.
[34:37] Speaker 1: Talking shit.
[34:37] Speaker 2: Talking shit. But I did see that Erica's getting a
[34:42] Speaker 2: little bit more involved.
[34:44] Speaker 1: Well, we didn't really get to see much of her
[34:47] Speaker 1: in the first episode. She was only at the end party, so.
[34:50] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[34:51] Speaker 1: I'm wondering how much her.
[34:54] Speaker 1: Husband is going to film and you.
[34:56] Speaker 2: Have a very, I mean, he showed a picture.
[34:58] Speaker 1: I know. I'm wondering if that's about all we're going
[35:01] Speaker 1: to get to see of him. Cause you know, very
[35:03] Speaker 1: wealthy men, they don't want a part of this show.
[35:05] Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him at all. Yeah.
[35:10] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[35:10] Speaker 2: And he's a tight guy, right?
[35:12] Speaker 3: Oh yeah. And then also who put it in there that, um,
[35:16] Speaker 3: Jessel's husband didn't stay till the end of her party.
[35:19] Speaker 2: Someone gave us that.
[35:20] Speaker 1: I can't remember, but I don't see anything wrong with that.
[35:25] Speaker 1: They have kids. You probably want to get home.
[35:27] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[35:28] Speaker 2: I mean, but I like this being kind of a
[35:30] Speaker 2: small cast.
[35:33] Speaker 3: I guess seven isn't that small, but it feels small
[35:35] Speaker 3: to me compared to some of these other housewives.
[35:37] Speaker 1: It's six, isn't it? Didn't they have three?
[35:39] Speaker 2: Four, five, six, seven. With Carol, it's seven.
[35:42] Speaker 1: Oh, with Carol. That's right. I forgot.
[35:44] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[35:45] Speaker 1: I think it's a good cast.
[35:46] Speaker 3: I think it's a good cast. I think everybody is
[35:49] Speaker 3: giving us a little bit of what we want. I
[35:51] Speaker 3: want to actually hear more from Cy. I want Cy
[35:54] Speaker 3: to get involved in the conversation.
[35:56] Speaker 2: I think Cy... Oh, trust me.
[35:57] Speaker 1: She will.
[35:58] Speaker 2: Yeah. I think she's so.
[35:59] Speaker 1: She's not very shy.
[36:00] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:01] Speaker 3: She's so wrapped up in what's going on in her life,
[36:03] Speaker 3: which I would you know, understand why that she's just like, okay,
[36:09] Speaker 3: this is my entertainment to come out and watch these
[36:11] Speaker 3: other idiots fight.
[36:12] Speaker 1: Do you think her husband is going to film? And
[36:17] Speaker 1: do you think he's going to sign to let her
[36:20] Speaker 1: daughter film? Or she's got two kids, two kids.
[36:23] Speaker 2: I don't think, I don't think that her, her husband
[36:26] Speaker 2: is going to film.
[36:27] Speaker 3: And I don't think that her kids are going to
[36:28] Speaker 3: film either.
[36:29] Speaker 2: Cause we've now seen her at her house.
[36:32] Speaker 1: And we haven't seen any kids.
[36:33] Speaker 2: Have we seen kids? No, we didn't see any kids.
[36:36] Speaker 1: No, I get confused with Instagram because I see her
[36:39] Speaker 1: and her daughter on Instagram all the time.
[36:41] Speaker 3: Yeah. So I think we've seen her twice on at
[36:43] Speaker 3: her house. But I mean, the kids could be at school.
[36:46] Speaker 3: There could be a multitude of reasons. But if I
[36:49] Speaker 3: was that ex, I wouldn't go on.
[36:52] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:53] Speaker 1: And a lot of men get bitter and they won't sign.
[36:55] Speaker 2: And yeah.
[36:58] Speaker 3: I mean, I think from what we saw of their relationship,
[37:01] Speaker 3: I was shocked when they broke up.
[37:04] Speaker 1: I think everybody was, but she also said that she
[37:06] Speaker 1: was hiding a lot from the cameras.
[37:08] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[37:09] Speaker 3: So, I mean, but if you're still willing to hide
[37:13] Speaker 3: a lot, then you're still wanting to protect a lot.
[37:18] Speaker 1: Yeah. Because the repercussions of what happens afterwards. Yeah, that's true.
[37:22] Speaker 1: But I think if you're in a marriage like that,
[37:24] Speaker 1: and it's kind of like, you know, when I was
[37:26] Speaker 1: with my ex, I was in a marriage that wasn't
[37:28] Speaker 1: good and I would protect him.
[37:30] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[37:31] Speaker 1: Even though, you know, the cameras caught a lot. Just
[37:34] Speaker 1: because I didn't want to hear the backlash of it.
[37:36] Speaker 3: Well, I can say that I was scared that I
[37:40] Speaker 3: wasn't going to like this new cast together, that I
[37:42] Speaker 3: wanted it to be the way it was before.
[37:45] Speaker 1: Well, I will say that a lot of people feel
[37:48] Speaker 1: that way. And a lot of people I've seen, they're like,
[37:50] Speaker 1: I'm not even going to watch. I only like the originals.
[37:53] Speaker 1: And I think, guys, it's a really good show.
[37:57] Speaker 2: Me too. That's what I was going to say. I
[37:58] Speaker 2: was wrong.
[37:59] Speaker 1: I was wrong.
[38:00] Speaker 2: It's good.
[38:01] Speaker 1: We watched the premiere and we were both so pleasantly
[38:04] Speaker 1: surprised because, you know, for the past couple of years,
[38:07] Speaker 1: it wasn't good. And of course it was always compared
[38:11] Speaker 1: to the original cast, but I feel like there's a
[38:15] Speaker 1: new wave of housewives coming in.
[38:18] Speaker 3: Yeah. And I feel like the way that these women
[38:20] Speaker 3: are operating together. And I feel like the fact that
[38:22] Speaker 3: we're able to see such different lifestyles to me, like,
[38:26] Speaker 3: You know, normally when you're in Beverly Hills, you're not
[38:28] Speaker 3: seeing one person that lives in a place that has
[38:31] Speaker 3: popcorn ceilings.
[38:32] Speaker 2: Like, you know, like everybody's kind of in the same. Yeah. Situation.
[38:38] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[38:39] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:39] Speaker 1: But I do think overall in Housewives, we're seeing a change.
[38:42] Speaker 1: I think we're seeing before recasting didn't work out. And
[38:48] Speaker 1: now we have new shows like Salt Lake City, which
[38:51] Speaker 1: is now like what, six or seven years old, which
[38:53] Speaker 1: that one worked out. We have Rhode Island.
[38:56] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:56] Speaker 1: We, you know, we have Roni that basically has, except
[38:59] Speaker 1: for Carol, a pretty, a newer cast.
[39:03] Speaker 3: And I do think Carol is necessary to come in
[39:07] Speaker 3: for the show, I think, because it puts kind of
[39:10] Speaker 3: all of the women slightly on edge. Yeah.
[39:13] Speaker 1: I mean, I think that Carol is not like the rest.
[39:18] Speaker 2: Yeah. I agree.
[39:21] Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean, we'll see how it goes, but
[39:25] Speaker 1: so far it's great.
[39:26] Speaker 2: I know, I love it. I love it.
[39:30] Speaker 3: But, you know, I think we keep watching. How many
[39:33] Speaker 3: episodes do we have of New York this year?
[39:36] Speaker 1: I don't know. Sometimes after a pause, they do 12
[39:39] Speaker 1: or something.
[39:40] Speaker 3: Yeah. But I don't know. But I think I think,
[39:43] Speaker 3: you know, I like everybody. I think everybody's doing what
[39:46] Speaker 3: they need to do. It's funny that no matter what,
[39:49] Speaker 3: Erin can do no wrong in my eyes.
[39:52] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[39:52] Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think it was good. All in all,
[39:54] Speaker 2: it was good. I'm happy with it.
[39:57] Speaker 3: I feel like compared to some of the other shows
[39:59] Speaker 3: that we have watched, this is a pleasant treat.
[40:03] Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
[40:07] Speaker 1: Thanks for tuning in, guys.
[40:08] Speaker 2: Thanks for tuning in, guys. We appreciate y'all. Talk to
[40:11] Speaker 2: you soon.
