[0:02] Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Hey, guys. Welcome back to another episode of Two Teas
[0:11] Speaker 2: in a Pod with myself and Teddy Mellencamp. Teddy. Hi, Tam. Hi.
[0:16] Speaker 2: This ain't Bravo that we're going to be recapping today. No, no.
[0:20] Speaker 2: This definitely ain't Bravo. This ain't Bravo.
[0:23] Speaker 3: This is a lot. We're going to be talking about
[0:27] Speaker 3: secret lives of Mormon wives and... doing episode one through three.
[0:32] Speaker 2: Yes, because as you guys know, like five episodes dropped
[0:35] Speaker 2: and it's kind of hard to recap like streaming like this.
[0:39] Speaker 2: It was a doozy. The first three episodes. It was
[0:43] Speaker 2: such like Jerry Springer. Yeah.
[0:48] Speaker 3: I mean, the fact that this I mean, they are
[0:50] Speaker 3: so messy.
[0:54] Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
[0:55] Speaker 3: But before we even get into recapping, Michaela leaving the show.
[1:00] Speaker 3: I know. I know.
[1:01] Speaker 2: It's so sad.
[1:02] Speaker 3: On her Instagram, she said, I made the decision over
[1:05] Speaker 3: a week ago after hearing some news that I will
[1:07] Speaker 3: not be continuing the show after this moment, adding I'm
[1:10] Speaker 3: not comfortable being part of something that continues to platform
[1:14] Speaker 3: behavior I don't agree with. And for me and personally
[1:17] Speaker 3: continuing to directly profit from this behavior feels wrong and unethical.
[1:21] Speaker 3: This shouldn't be relatable or entertaining in any way. It's
[1:24] Speaker 3: enabling for years, and I'm not going to be a
[1:26] Speaker 3: part of that again.
[1:27] Speaker 2: So do you think that she was potentially let go?
[1:30] Speaker 2: Or do you think that she, because they already have
[1:33] Speaker 2: another season banked, right? Yeah. I don't know.
[1:35] Speaker 3: I don't think she, I don't think she was potentially
[1:37] Speaker 3: let go. I think she's done with Taylor Frankie Paul.
[1:42] Speaker 2: And they'll just keep bringing that train wreck back. Yeah.
[1:44] Speaker 3: They're not going to. And I think that them keeping
[1:48] Speaker 3: Taylor on was enough to push Michaela over the edge. Like,
[1:51] Speaker 3: she's like, I just can't do this anymore.
[1:54] Speaker 2: Yeah. Because you could tell it really was starting to
[1:56] Speaker 2: weigh on her. Well, you can see crumbling in this cast.
[1:59] Speaker 2: And I was talking to Caden. I go, I don't
[2:00] Speaker 2: think the show's going to be around much longer. He's like, oh, yes,
[2:02] Speaker 2: it will. It's highly rated. And I'm like, it just
[2:05] Speaker 2: seems like the cast is crumbling. Divorces are happening. People
[2:08] Speaker 2: are leaving. People like Whitney are becoming, she's so talented.
[2:12] Speaker 2: She's becoming so famous that she's going to go on
[2:14] Speaker 2: to do other things. So I don't know. I guess
[2:17] Speaker 2: they've already ordered 20 episodes.
[2:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, 20 more episodes.
[2:23] Speaker 2: But don't you think it needs a little refresh?
[2:26] Speaker 3: I don't know that I think it needs a refresh.
[2:28] Speaker 2: Okay.
[2:29] Speaker 3: Like, I enjoy it. I also, it makes me incredibly
[2:35] Speaker 3: uncomfortable the entire time I'm watching it.
[2:37] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, let's get right into it. So this is
[2:41] Speaker 2: one through three, guys. The season premiere opens with the
[2:43] Speaker 2: girls talking about Taylor Frankie Paul domestic violence allegations. Now,
[2:47] Speaker 2: the girls say in their confessionals there's way more than
[2:51] Speaker 2: what the public actually knows. They flash to tons of
[2:54] Speaker 2: content creators reporting on a DV and The Bachelorette being canceled.
[3:00] Speaker 2: You know what's funny about these reality shows?
[3:04] Speaker 3: What?
[3:04] Speaker 2: Bravo including. They talk about, don't talk to bloggers, don't
[3:08] Speaker 2: talk to bloggers, but they're actually employing bloggers at this point. Yeah.
[3:12] Speaker 3: At this point, they're just like letting that money roll.
[3:15] Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the hard part.
[3:17] Speaker 3: For me to wrap my head around in regards to
[3:18] Speaker 3: this show is that we know that we're a season behind.
[3:23] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, they've already done an entire season since. Like,
[3:28] Speaker 2: six is already filmed. Yeah, that's crazy. I think the
[3:32] Speaker 2: problem for me this season, like, everything was leaked. Yeah.
[3:36] Speaker 2: Everything was leaked. So we know all this stuff. And
[3:39] Speaker 2: then I keep thinking as she's talking about The Bachelorette,
[3:42] Speaker 2: and I'm like, why are you exposing this? And I remember, oh, shit,
[3:45] Speaker 2: because this was like over a year ago. And they
[3:48] Speaker 2: held on to this. Yeah.
[3:49] Speaker 3: Yeah. I know, but there's still a lot that we
[3:52] Speaker 3: had to learn. I was like, oh my gosh. So
[3:55] Speaker 3: it starts with January 6th. Taylor returns from filming The Bachelorette.
[3:59] Speaker 3: This is five weeks until production pause. Macy, Michaela, and
[4:04] Speaker 3: Jesse met Taylor's top three guys. They hoped she wouldn't
[4:08] Speaker 3: choose Doug. Of course she's going to choose the one
[4:11] Speaker 3: person that nobody else would want her to pick.
[4:15] Speaker 2: Did you catch on that Taylor unfollowed most of her cast? Yeah,
[4:18] Speaker 2: I did.
[4:19] Speaker 3: I saw that.
[4:20] Speaker 2: Like, that's crazy.
[4:21] Speaker 3: It's crazy.
[4:23] Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, all the girls are thriving. They have books.
[4:26] Speaker 3: They have movies.
[4:27] Speaker 2: They have Broadway. Everyone's getting plastic surgery. Jen got her
[4:31] Speaker 2: boobs done. Jessie got her eyes done. Layla got her
[4:34] Speaker 2: boobs look uncomfortable. They look painful. They're in her throat. Yeah.
[4:38] Speaker 2: She's like, I'm like, what are you doing, girl?
[4:43] Speaker 3: In her confessional, Taylor, when she reveals that she's engaged
[4:47] Speaker 3: to Doug, and we already know what's happened. We already
[4:49] Speaker 3: know that shit's hit the fan. Like, Taylor picking the
[4:53] Speaker 3: guy with the most red flags is very on point
[4:56] Speaker 3: for Taylor.
[4:57] Speaker 2: Right, right. But then when we hear them talk on
[5:00] Speaker 2: the— or when she's talking about him or the things she
[5:03] Speaker 2: says about him, it doesn't sound like he's into her.
[5:06] Speaker 2: And she doesn't seem like she's into him either.
[5:08] Speaker 3: No, no.
[5:10] Speaker 2: So why'd they even pick each other?
[5:11] Speaker 3: I mean, we have to also remember she had sex
[5:13] Speaker 3: with Dakota the day before she left and the day
[5:16] Speaker 3: she got back.
[5:17] Speaker 2: And she says, claims she's in love with Ben. In love.
[5:23] Speaker 3: Poor Ben.
[5:25] Speaker 2: Is that the guy that she just let go?
[5:26] Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, Miranda tells Layla that Chase's DUI is now
[5:31] Speaker 3: public information. She's worried how this will affect her children.
[5:35] Speaker 3: Layla uses this lunch to give Miranda some other bad news.
[5:38] Speaker 3: Shania hooked up with Chase while she was living with
[5:41] Speaker 3: Miranda Renfrew.
[5:43] Speaker 2: Shania is nasty. Piece of shit. Like a friend coming
[5:47] Speaker 2: into your house and hooking up with your husband?
[5:52] Speaker 3: Like, ugh.
[5:54] Speaker 2: She's dead to me, too. Yeah. Like, I don't need
[5:56] Speaker 2: to ever hear Shania again.
[5:58] Speaker 3: No. I don't need to see her.
[5:59] Speaker 2: I don't want to.
[6:00] Speaker 3: I mean, I'm glad we didn't see her this season.
[6:03] Speaker 3: I don't know. And then we get kind of a
[6:05] Speaker 3: little bit of like Chase. We see how like Miranda
[6:09] Speaker 3: is constantly protecting Chase. Mm-hmm. Even though Chase pretty much
[6:14] Speaker 3: treats her like dog shit.
[6:16] Speaker 2: Well, I think Miranda is one of the most just
[6:22] Speaker 2: down-to-earth good girl on that show. Yeah. She really is.
[6:27] Speaker 2: Like she puts up with a lot of shit, and
[6:29] Speaker 2: I think she does it just because she wants to
[6:31] Speaker 2: co-parent with this guy. But he's a douche lord.
[6:36] Speaker 3: He's such a douche lord. If you follow him on Instagram,
[6:40] Speaker 3: it's unreal. And he's been posting so many things with Marciano.
[6:47] Speaker 2: Really? Yes. And it just gives me the ick like
[6:51] Speaker 2: no other. Yeah.
[6:55] Speaker 3: But Taylor invited Dakota over to her house the same
[6:58] Speaker 3: night she got home from The Bachelorette.
[7:03] Speaker 2: I mean, in her confessional, Taylor Toast production, she slept
[7:05] Speaker 2: with Dakota while being engaged to Doug. In shocking news,
[7:11] Speaker 2: Dakota also has a girlfriend, Teddy.
[7:15] Speaker 3: There's nothing that they can do to shock me at
[7:18] Speaker 3: this point.
[7:18] Speaker 2: I mean, what the actual Jerry Springer is going on here,
[7:21] Speaker 2: she's comparing Dakota to an addiction. These two thrive off
[7:25] Speaker 2: of dysfunction. I say get married and just live your
[7:30] Speaker 2: life best. Doing the shit you guys do to each other.
[7:33] Speaker 3: I can't because there's so many videos now. There's another
[7:37] Speaker 3: video leak. Did you see it? No.
[7:40] Speaker 2: From Dakota's roommate.
[7:42] Speaker 3: His name's Crew, who now Taylor Frankie Paul's gotten another
[7:46] Speaker 3: restraining order against Crew.
[7:49] Speaker 2: She'll start dating Crew soon. I mean, here is Taylor.
[7:56] Speaker 2: She's engaged, screwing her old baby daddy, who at the
[8:01] Speaker 2: last reunion, they wouldn't even look at each other.
[8:03] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[8:04] Speaker 2: She's in love with a guy named Ben, and she
[8:05] Speaker 2: has the balls to sit there and go, did you
[8:07] Speaker 2: fuck her? Did you fuck her? Did you fuck her?
[8:09] Speaker 2: And I'm like, shut up. Shut up.
[8:13] Speaker 3: She just can't stop. She can't stop herself. And I
[8:18] Speaker 3: understand that Dakota is obviously toxic, and he's.
[8:21] Speaker 2: Revving her up, and he gets.
[8:26] Speaker 2: Gets her to that spot.
[8:28] Speaker 3: But I also don't understand how she can even, with
[8:31] Speaker 3: a straight face, tell us that she's not in love
[8:34] Speaker 3: with Dakota, that she's in love with Ben.
[8:36] Speaker 2: Who she doesn't really know that well, by the way.
[8:42] Speaker 3: Who... I don't know that Ben's that into her either,
[8:47] Speaker 3: even though it seems like.
[8:48] Speaker 2: Oh, the way he rolled his eyes in the bathtub, like, oh, God,
[8:50] Speaker 2: I got myself a feral one.
[8:52] Speaker 3: I got myself a real toxic one.
[8:56] Speaker 2: Now, Michaela, you see the red spots. You see her
[9:00] Speaker 2: itching her skin. She talks about her health. She's now
[9:04] Speaker 2: going to a dispensary to get THC, and it has
[9:08] Speaker 2: helped her. And I'm like, hey, girl, I'll send you
[9:10] Speaker 2: some Vena.
[9:11] Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. I know, but I thought that was a
[9:15] Speaker 3: good scene because they were talking, she was, she kind
[9:17] Speaker 3: of made me laugh about the Mormon thing.
[9:19] Speaker 2: She was like, Mormons were also.
[9:21] Speaker 3: Against soda and now look at us. Yeah.
[9:25] Speaker 2: They, they sell it at the college there. Is that
[9:28] Speaker 2: what she was saying? Yeah.
[9:31] Speaker 3: So I think that, you know, she clearly, I'm glad
[9:35] Speaker 3: to see that her and her husband are doing better.
[9:38] Speaker 2: So who split up now at this point? Jesse and
[9:43] Speaker 2: her husband, right? Jesse at this point is still- No, no.
[9:47] Speaker 2: I mean now in real life. Currently. Currently now in
[9:50] Speaker 2: real life.
[9:50] Speaker 3: Jesse split up from her husband. Is Jen pregnant again?
[9:59] Speaker 3: She's a hard one for me to handle.
[10:02] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[10:03] Speaker 3: She's a hard one for me to handle. Layla's broken
[10:05] Speaker 3: up with Chase's brother.
[10:07] Speaker 2: Thank God.
[10:08] Speaker 3: Michaela, I remember hearing that she was taking a break
[10:13] Speaker 3: from her.
[10:15] Speaker 2: Husband, but I don't know that they actually split. She
[10:20] Speaker 2: just split from the show. No, but for a.
[10:23] Speaker 3: While she, yeah, but for a while she actually split
[10:28] Speaker 3: from him. They took a break.
[10:32] Speaker 2: I'm Kate Hudson. And I'm Oliver Hudson. And Sibling Revelry
[10:36] Speaker 2: is back. Join us for... Deeply personal. Filter-free.
[10:41] Speaker 3: Filter-free.
[10:42] Speaker 2: It's unhinged, slightly. Slightly unhinged. Well, it can get very unhinged.
[10:46] Speaker 2: Very unhinged conversations about family and siblings.
[10:49] Speaker 3: And life and love.
[10:51] Speaker 2: And all the things that bring people purpose. And now
[10:54] Speaker 2: you can watch us on Netflix. So listen to Sibling
[10:57] Speaker 2: Revelry on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
[11:01] Speaker 2: get your podcasts. While moving into their new rental, Jen
[11:07] Speaker 2: tells Zach that her dream, like her dream, is to
[11:11] Speaker 2: be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Zach wasn't thrilled.
[11:13] Speaker 2: And then he's like, topless? I'm like, isn't Sports Illustrated
[11:18] Speaker 2: like bikinis?
[11:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, but Sports Illustrated is bikinis. But Zach did a post.
[11:24] Speaker 3: The fact that I saw this, like, really makes me
[11:28] Speaker 3: worry about myself. But Zach cleared something up. He said, listen.
[11:33] Speaker 3: They cropped out what I actually said. We weren't talking
[11:37] Speaker 3: about if she could be on Sports Illustrated. We were
[11:40] Speaker 3: talking about if she was an actress making out with
[11:42] Speaker 3: other people.
[11:43] Speaker 2: Oh.
[11:44] Speaker 3: Like sex scenes.
[11:45] Speaker 2: Oh, editing at its finest.
[11:48] Speaker 3: So it was like that's what he was actually saying
[11:50] Speaker 3: no about. He wasn't saying no, she can't be on
[11:52] Speaker 3: Sports Illustrated. And the fact that I'm having Zach's back
[11:55] Speaker 3: right now really shows the level of people that were.
[11:59] Speaker 2: Do you know that Zach doesn't bug me anymore? Zach
[12:02] Speaker 2: doesn't really bug me either. And I think they both
[12:04] Speaker 2: had a little bit of a glow up.
[12:07] Speaker 3: Well, remember Zach, didn't he have like a, what was
[12:10] Speaker 3: his hair situation?
[12:11] Speaker 2: Didn't he have a long bob?
[12:14] Speaker 3: He had a bob and it was like curly. And
[12:17] Speaker 3: then he was like a real dick to Jen. But
[12:21] Speaker 3: I also, this is the part I, I mean, there's
[12:24] Speaker 3: just so many things. I mean, did you hear that
[12:27] Speaker 3: Layla's into women now?
[12:29] Speaker 2: Yes, I've seen that. I think the best thing for
[12:31] Speaker 2: her is just like work on herself for a little while. Yeah.
[12:35] Speaker 2: And then figure it out.
[12:36] Speaker 3: They very rarely show, they never have shown her ex-husband. No,
[12:42] Speaker 3: they've never shown her ex. We've only seen her kids
[12:46] Speaker 3: one time at that play park.
[12:49] Speaker 2: That's right. But evidently she's got a lot of money.
[12:52] Speaker 2: She's making a lot of money off of this journey
[12:54] Speaker 2: because she's buying that Mason guy like all kinds of presents.
[12:58] Speaker 3: I mean expensive presents.
[13:01] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like Cartier rings. Brightland watch. Trips to all over
[13:09] Speaker 2: the place. And he's like this. He's like brain dead.
[13:15] Speaker 2: Five words. I've heard him say five words.
[13:20] Speaker 3: Got a personality.
[13:23] Speaker 2: Of the rock.
[13:24] Speaker 3: Yeah. I, he, I'm not into him. I, the fact
[13:27] Speaker 3: that I like his brother more than I like him
[13:29] Speaker 3: is a problem.
[13:30] Speaker 2: Well, they're polar opposites, but I think they're the same.
[13:36] Speaker 3: Are they?
[13:36] Speaker 2: I mean, they might have the same morals, but I mean,
[13:38] Speaker 2: personality wise, one just doesn't, one doesn't talk and the
[13:43] Speaker 2: other one doesn't shut the fuck up.
[13:45] Speaker 3: But I think when they're together, they really bring out
[13:48] Speaker 3: the worst in each other. Yeah. Um, Then Jesse, Macy,
[13:53] Speaker 3: and Mikayla meet up with Taylor at a Bachelorette shoot
[13:56] Speaker 3: and find out she's engaged to Doug.
[13:59] Speaker 2: But then in that same moment, we find out that
[14:03] Speaker 2: she slept with Dakota. She just has no problem just
[14:06] Speaker 2: being like, yeah. No, she doesn't even feel bad about it. Uh-uh. No. No.
[14:12] Speaker 2: Not even for one second. She's like, she thinks it's
[14:14] Speaker 2: a game.
[14:15] Speaker 3: She's like laughing about it.
[14:16] Speaker 2: Like, but I already did, you know, with Dakota. But
[14:20] Speaker 2: everyone knew that she was going to run back to Dakota.
[14:22] Speaker 2: They have just a toxic relationship. And like, maybe, like
[14:27] Speaker 2: she said, maybe it's like a drug addiction.
[14:31] Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure it is like a drug addiction, but,
[14:33] Speaker 3: but still.
[14:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. Why even go on the bachelorette? And you have
[14:40] Speaker 2: to wonder. For the money. That's why she did it.
[14:42] Speaker 2: For fame. Now there's three guys in her life.
[14:46] Speaker 3: Well, Doug isn't even in her life, I don't think.
[14:49] Speaker 3: Doug doesn't even appear on.
[14:52] Speaker 2: Yeah, he was up until then. Until she finished filming.
[14:57] Speaker 2: But I'm sorry. This is one reason why I can't
[15:01] Speaker 2: really get into these dating shows. So you're going to
[15:04] Speaker 2: date somebody on national TV and then you're going to
[15:06] Speaker 2: get engaged to them within six weeks?
[15:08] Speaker 1: Yes.
[15:08] Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you're going to have to not see
[15:11] Speaker 3: them and keep it private.
[15:12] Speaker 2: You shouldn't even get engaged to somebody you meet organically. Like,
[15:16] Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like, oh, I met this
[15:17] Speaker 2: guy and six weeks later. I mean, it happens. I
[15:20] Speaker 2: know people that were married after a couple weeks, but
[15:23] Speaker 2: you know what? They're spending every minute together. It ended
[15:27] Speaker 2: up in divorce, yeah. Well, not just that.
[15:29] Speaker 3: They're spending– I mean, you've got to think about the
[15:31] Speaker 3: little amount of time that Taylor spent with each one
[15:34] Speaker 3: of these guys.
[15:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like– It starts out with whatever it is, 30 guys.
[15:39] Speaker 2: I just can't get behind these kinds of shows. It's
[15:41] Speaker 2: not my thing.
[15:43] Speaker 3: I mean, I used to be obsessed with The Bachelor
[15:45] Speaker 3: and The Bachelorette.
[15:46] Speaker 2: Sometimes it works out, you know, you know, but I
[15:48] Speaker 2: would say it's probably 1%.
[15:49] Speaker 3: Well, I think especially if you go into the show
[15:54] Speaker 3: fully not ready to be in a relationship, like, I
[15:58] Speaker 3: don't know. But also what I don't understand is why
[16:02] Speaker 3: when she's admitting that She's had sex with Dakota once.
[16:05] Speaker 3: She's come back from The Bachelorette. One, like, does she
[16:08] Speaker 3: not think she's breaking some code with The Bachelorette? That's
[16:11] Speaker 3: what her mom said.
[16:13] Speaker 2: Her mom said, do you have an NDA?
[16:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, like, how is The Bachelorette okay with this? How
[16:18] Speaker 3: has she not been fined?
[16:20] Speaker 2: Well, I think it's because they held it for so
[16:22] Speaker 2: long and they canceled the show.
[16:24] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[16:25] Speaker 2: That might be the reason because that's the only thing
[16:26] Speaker 2: I can think of because I kept going, how is
[16:28] Speaker 2: this okay? Then I'm like, well, they canceled the show.
[16:32] Speaker 2: It's been a while.
[16:33] Speaker 3: But even if they hadn't canceled the show, they hadn't
[16:36] Speaker 3: canceled the show when they filmed this season.
[16:39] Speaker 2: Also, there's been talk about airing it.
[16:43] Speaker 3: I know, but I don't think they will.
[16:44] Speaker 2: You don't think they will?
[16:45] Speaker 3: I don't think they will. I mean, I think clearly,
[16:48] Speaker 3: I mean, I think they should just put it on
[16:50] Speaker 3: another network. I don't think that ABC can air The
[16:53] Speaker 3: Bachelor like this. I just can't.
[16:56] Speaker 2: It'll be on YouTube one day.
[16:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, like Secret Lives of Mormon Wives could buy it.
[17:01] Speaker 3: And just bank all the episodes and post them.
[17:03] Speaker 2: I think somebody will buy it. Now, nothing says a
[17:06] Speaker 2: charity event like having Fruity Pebbles in the dunk machine.
[17:12] Speaker 2: I mean, first of all, the subtle dig.
[17:14] Speaker 3: And then, like, Jesse decides to call Chase out for
[17:18] Speaker 3: not having loyalty.
[17:19] Speaker 2: Oh, please. And then Layla jumps in.
[17:23] Speaker 3: And Chase says she's only there because he and Miranda
[17:25] Speaker 3: chose to swing. Not a lie.
[17:29] Speaker 2: Chase really wants a show. He does.
[17:33] Speaker 3: He really wants one.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Well, I mean, he's a good villain on the show.
[17:37] Speaker 2: He is a good villain. And weirdly, this is going
[17:40] Speaker 2: to be bad, I find Chase attractive. Oh, I saw
[17:43] Speaker 2: that from day one. I also thought Dakota was attractive too.
[17:47] Speaker 2: But Chase seems drunk. I mean, drunk. Well, clearly he is.
[17:52] Speaker 3: He's gotten a DUI. Also, I don't think it was
[17:54] Speaker 3: just a DUI. Wasn't it with drugs as well?
[17:57] Speaker 2: I don't remember. I think they said cocaine. But you know,
[18:01] Speaker 2: his ex is like asking him, please don't get too drunk, please.
[18:04] Speaker 2: It's like, oh, we had a couple. I'm like, you
[18:08] Speaker 2: are already, they're talking about your DY and here you
[18:10] Speaker 2: are drunk at a scene. Not a good look.
[18:12] Speaker 3: And you're like belligerent, not making sense. Miranda's so nice
[18:15] Speaker 3: to you. Like the fact, Miranda just like lays on
[18:18] Speaker 3: the sword for him all of the time.
[18:20] Speaker 2: But I had, yeah, I had a guy laughing when
[18:22] Speaker 2: Jesse's like, you have no loyalty. I'm like, Coming from
[18:25] Speaker 2: the girl that cheated on her husband, then talked shit
[18:29] Speaker 2: about this guy, and then dumped her husband and is
[18:32] Speaker 2: now with him.
[18:33] Speaker 3: I mean, the fact that we're having to watch this
[18:35] Speaker 3: season and try and pretend that we don't realize that
[18:38] Speaker 3: Jessie has broken up with her husband.
[18:40] Speaker 2: I know. It's very hard for me. Well, this is
[18:44] Speaker 2: like doing a podcast three months and then banking it
[18:46] Speaker 2: and then airing it later. All that shit's already been
[18:49] Speaker 2: talked about. Like we've already known.
[18:51] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[18:53] Speaker 2: So after Taylor laughs and she's like, yeah, I mean,
[18:59] Speaker 2: I kind of like, you know what happened with Dakota?
[19:03] Speaker 3: Then she's like, but newsflash, guys, I'm actually in love
[19:08] Speaker 3: with someone else.
[19:10] Speaker 2: And you're like, hold on, what? I know.
[19:14] Speaker 3: And then she's like, Ben Lambert, the TikTok fling that
[19:18] Speaker 3: we met last season with the stash.
[19:22] Speaker 2: With the stash. She's nutty.
[19:25] Speaker 3: She's nutty.
[19:27] Speaker 2: But after the whole.
[19:30] Speaker 3: Charity event where they're, you know, throwing people in the
[19:33] Speaker 3: water and Chase is doing the most, the next morning
[19:36] Speaker 3: Miranda confronts Chase about his DUI and hooking up with Shania.
[19:42] Speaker 2: I mean, bless her heart. She's trying so hard to
[19:46] Speaker 2: just kind of keep some normalcy for her children. But
[19:49] Speaker 2: Miranda wants Chase. to be sober, and it ain't going
[19:51] Speaker 2: to happen.
[19:53] Speaker 1: No.
[19:54] Speaker 2: And pretty much, he's just like, oh, sorry about that. Yeah.
[19:59] Speaker 2: It can't happen again. He's like, oh, no, it won't. Yeah, sure. Yeah, like,
[20:04] Speaker 2: she's like, you know, she's living.
[20:05] Speaker 3: The fact that Shania was living at her house rent-free.
[20:09] Speaker 2: I mean....
[20:11] Speaker 3: But I also want to know how Chase doesn't care
[20:18] Speaker 3: that Shania also hooked up with Dakota before.
[20:22] Speaker 2: Like, nobody cares about this crossover of hookups. This Mormon
[20:26] Speaker 2: religion really is wholesome, isn't it? Spocking everybody from the
[20:34] Speaker 2: age of 14. Like, you're just going for it.
[20:38] Speaker 3: Then we transitioned over to New York City where Whitney
[20:41] Speaker 3: and Connor have moved for Whitney's Broadway debut in Chicago.
[20:45] Speaker 2: I found this very interesting.
[20:46] Speaker 3: Me too.
[20:47] Speaker 2: I mean, getting out of Salt Lake City, seeing them
[20:50] Speaker 2: move into an apartment in New York, her son taking
[20:53] Speaker 2: his pants off. It's just, and how exciting for her.
[20:58] Speaker 2: I know. I mean, to walk through Times Square, to
[21:01] Speaker 2: go to work and see herself every day, you know,
[21:06] Speaker 2: on the big jumbotron. I'm like, that's like an aha moment. Like,
[21:12] Speaker 2: I have made it. Yeah.
[21:14] Speaker 3: I mean, I remember we did it for Erica when
[21:17] Speaker 3: Erica was on Chicago. We walked through from like where
[21:20] Speaker 3: she was staying to, and you could see it on
[21:22] Speaker 3: the way. And it was just like, oh my God. Like,
[21:26] Speaker 3: I can't even imagine.
[21:27] Speaker 2: And there's nothing more humbling than saying, welcome to New
[21:33] Speaker 2: York with the brown water coming out of the faucet. Yeah.
[21:38] Speaker 2: They're lucky a rat didn't run by.
[21:39] Speaker 3: They're like, hold on, let's give them a bath. And
[21:42] Speaker 3: then he's like, there's brown chunks in the water.
[21:45] Speaker 2: Do you think Taylor would drink that water too? Well,
[21:47] Speaker 2: she was in New York when she drank the water. No, ma'am. No,
[21:53] Speaker 2: thank you.
[21:54] Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, little did she know what we had
[21:56] Speaker 3: already seen. But then Miranda goes over to Taylor's house
[21:59] Speaker 3: to catch up. I mean, Miranda's just such a good person.
[22:02] Speaker 2: She is. She really is.
[22:05] Speaker 3: Doug asked Taylor to take a three-day talking break, but
[22:08] Speaker 3: she's still in love with Ben. Miranda thinks she should
[22:10] Speaker 3: still be single.
[22:11] Speaker 2: Hold on.
[22:11] Speaker 3: Okay. If somebody told you they wanted to take a
[22:13] Speaker 3: three-day talking break. Bye. Bye.
[22:18] Speaker 2: Bye. But Taylor also wears Crocs and a t-shirt that
[22:22] Speaker 2: says number one Taylor. So I don't think it really
[22:25] Speaker 2: clicks with her.
[22:27] Speaker 3: But she doesn't, I don't ever see it for a moment.
[22:31] Speaker 3: And I'm wondering if we saw any of The Bachelorette.
[22:34] Speaker 3: If we would have ever seen her even like Doug
[22:36] Speaker 3: at all.
[22:37] Speaker 2: No, Doug doesn't want to talk to you because he
[22:39] Speaker 2: doesn't love you. But also, why three days?
[22:45] Speaker 3: Was that like how long he was going to be
[22:47] Speaker 3: gone with whoever he was cheating on her with?
[22:49] Speaker 2: I think he was just trying to figure it out.
[22:50] Speaker 2: Or she was saying like, I need time to relax.
[22:54] Speaker 2: And I don't know. I just keep thinking Miranda's the
[22:57] Speaker 2: only level-headed girl.
[22:59] Speaker 3: Well, I think Michaela is too.
[23:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I shouldn't say that. Not only. One of
[23:05] Speaker 2: the only.
[23:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, one of the only. You know, Macy, Michaela.
[23:09] Speaker 2: Yeah. Then we go on to episode two, where Leanne,
[23:12] Speaker 2: Taylor's mom's 50th birthday. Taylor tells everyone about her latest
[23:16] Speaker 2: relationship drama. Jessie shares that Chase is going to Sundance
[23:20] Speaker 2: with Marciano, and she is pissed. I mean, this is
[23:26] Speaker 2: the other problem, knowing what we know now.
[23:28] Speaker 3: So she's pissed that they're hanging out with Marciano because
[23:30] Speaker 3: she's trying to make it work with her husband. But
[23:32] Speaker 3: we already know in real time that she's with Marciano.
[23:36] Speaker 2: Yes, and it's very hard to watch. And I just
[23:38] Speaker 2: roll my eyes at Jessie every time she talks about this.
[23:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're like, I mean, not only are they
[23:45] Speaker 3: a fucking mess like those two, but they go above
[23:48] Speaker 3: and beyond to be like PDA in their Instagrams. Like
[23:52] Speaker 3: it is.
[23:53] Speaker 2: So over, he just got a tattoo of her. He
[23:58] Speaker 2: just got a tattoo. I'm not kidding.
[23:59] Speaker 3: I just saw a tattoo on his wrist of her
[24:04] Speaker 3: logo from her business.
[24:07] Speaker 2: And she's like crying and she's like, oh my gosh.
[24:11] Speaker 2: And I'm like, this is narcissism at its finest. This is,
[24:15] Speaker 2: I can't, I cannot. So that's what's hard.
[24:19] Speaker 3: Cause how are we even supposed to believe That Jessie
[24:23] Speaker 3: is wanting to be with her ex when we know
[24:26] Speaker 3: what we know now.
[24:27] Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Every time she opened her mouth
[24:29] Speaker 2: and she's like, that guy's trash. That guy's horrible. How
[24:32] Speaker 2: could he go hang out knowing that I'm trying to
[24:35] Speaker 2: work on my marriage? I'm like, something tells me you're
[24:37] Speaker 2: still banging on me.
[24:38] Speaker 3: Well, Jesse's ex-husband, Jordan, remember last season? He was, like,
[24:44] Speaker 3: heated the entire time. We haven't really seen much of
[24:47] Speaker 3: him this season. And I don't know if that's because
[24:49] Speaker 3: they were further along in their breakup than they're admitting
[24:51] Speaker 3: at this point.
[24:52] Speaker 2: Yeah. But, like, she makes it very clear. Like, he
[24:58] Speaker 2: wasn't trying to be one of the boys this season.
[25:00] Speaker 3: He was just trying to get through.
[25:01] Speaker 2: I think he was just trying to get out.
[25:04] Speaker 3: You think he was trying to get out? I think
[25:05] Speaker 3: he was trying to stay in. You think so?
[25:07] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[25:08] Speaker 3: And I love how she's like, you know, I bought
[25:10] Speaker 3: a house, but I made sure to just put it
[25:12] Speaker 3: in my name.
[25:14] Speaker 2: Is this a new house or the house? No, they
[25:17] Speaker 2: just moved into a new house. Yeah. They're all talking
[25:19] Speaker 2: like she's making more money than she can spend. Yeah.
[25:23] Speaker 2: Do you believe that? Yeah.
[25:25] Speaker 3: Huh. Because I think all of her hair stuff, all
[25:27] Speaker 3: of her products that she's selling, I think, you know, it's,
[25:30] Speaker 3: it really is. I think especially in this LDS community,
[25:33] Speaker 3: like they just.
[25:34] Speaker 2: Big deal.
[25:35] Speaker 3: Big deal.
[25:37] Speaker 2: Good for her.
[25:38] Speaker 3: Then Jen says she will be attending Whitney's debut in Chicago,
[25:42] Speaker 3: despite them not talking. Do you think she was doing
[25:44] Speaker 3: this to be a nice person, or do you think
[25:46] Speaker 3: she was doing this to get at Whitney?
[25:52] Speaker 2: I think she was just doing it because she wants
[25:53] Speaker 2: to be part of the show.
[25:56] Speaker 3: She's very odd to me.
[25:58] Speaker 2: She's a little socially awkward. I don't think that she
[26:03] Speaker 2: was trying to get at Whitney, but I don't know.
[26:05] Speaker 2: I might be wrong. I don't think like these girls think.
[26:12] Speaker 2: But it's, I don't know.
[26:15] Speaker 3: She hasn't even told, the fact that Whitney finds out
[26:18] Speaker 3: through somebody else.
[26:21] Speaker 2: I mean, I think the right thing to do was
[26:22] Speaker 2: to say, you know, send her a text or something
[26:25] Speaker 2: and saying, I'm so proud of you. I'll be there
[26:26] Speaker 2: to support you. And what is Whitney going to say?
[26:29] Speaker 2: Don't bother?
[26:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, don't come.
[26:31] Speaker 2: I mean, but letting her know in advance would have been.
[26:33] Speaker 2: The adult thing to do. I mean, Whitney had to
[26:36] Speaker 2: reach out to her. Yeah.
[26:39] Speaker 3: And so I found this out.
[26:41] Speaker 2: Do you hear Jesse say that Marciano is gross and
[26:44] Speaker 2: only wants to be on the show?
[26:49] Speaker 3: And then we see, like, massive alpha male energy with everybody.
[26:52] Speaker 3: And watching this entire thing, I'm not even sure why
[26:56] Speaker 3: we needed a full scene of these guys or why
[27:00] Speaker 3: there was cameras.
[27:00] Speaker 2: Oh, and Sundance with Chase, Marciano, and Dakota when they
[27:03] Speaker 2: meet up?
[27:04] Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, why?
[27:05] Speaker 2: Why did we need that? Trace douchebags to me. Trace douchebagos.
[27:13] Speaker 2: The way that they were walking, the slow motion, the things,
[27:15] Speaker 2: the outfits. I'm like, no. And then what Marciano with
[27:19] Speaker 2: that little hair flip thing in the, no, no, I'm sorry.
[27:22] Speaker 2: I would add this one. I'd rather Jordan.
[27:26] Speaker 3: No, none of them.
[27:30] Speaker 2: No, no, thank you.
[27:31] Speaker 3: Um, And Macy, Makayla, and their husbands are at dinner.
[27:37] Speaker 3: Macy's sister, McCall, and mom, Cindy Surpriser. McCall is a
[27:41] Speaker 3: cast member of the OC spinoff.
[27:43] Speaker 2: Do we know when this OC spinoff is going to happen?
[27:46] Speaker 3: I feel like it's got to be coming up somewhat soon.
[27:51] Speaker 2: I know a girl that would be perfect for this show.
[27:53] Speaker 2: I think they've already filmed it. Yeah, they did.
[27:57] Speaker 3: Then they start debating whether Macy and Jacob should have
[28:00] Speaker 3: another baby. This is where McCall is a hard pass
[28:04] Speaker 3: for me because she's like, no, I mean, why wouldn't
[28:07] Speaker 3: you have another baby?
[28:08] Speaker 2: That's what you're put on this earth to do. She's
[28:10] Speaker 2: very religious.
[28:11] Speaker 3: Yeah, clearly.
[28:12] Speaker 2: So, yeah, she's got like, what, four or five kids? Yeah,
[28:16] Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah. But it feels very like Danny
[28:21] Speaker 2: and Nia.
[28:22] Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
[28:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Jacob, was it Jacob that was going so
[28:26] Speaker 2: deep about his tautsicles that he has on ice? And
[28:30] Speaker 2: where does their soul go? Yeah, like, what do you
[28:33] Speaker 2: think happens to their soul? And what happens here?
[28:36] Speaker 3: And I actually was surprised he was doing this. Why?
[28:41] Speaker 2: Because, like, give her a freaking break. She just had
[28:46] Speaker 2: a baby.
[28:47] Speaker 3: She just had a freaking baby. Give her a break.
[28:50] Speaker 3: She's having to be, like, the wholesome one of the show.
[28:54] Speaker 3: She just had a baby. She's told you she's not
[28:57] Speaker 3: ready to have another one. Like, why do you keep
[28:58] Speaker 3: pushing the issue? And then now you bring in the
[29:02] Speaker 3: sister and the mom surprise her by coming. And then
[29:05] Speaker 3: they surprise her by telling her she needs to have
[29:08] Speaker 3: another baby.
[29:09] Speaker 2: Well, I think that that's their religion. They just have
[29:12] Speaker 2: a lot of babies.
[29:14] Speaker 3: I think it's one thing to, you know, you're just
[29:16] Speaker 3: letting it happen.
[29:17] Speaker 2: But she's like, no, I have to go through IVF.
[29:20] Speaker 2: I think that's the difference. I think not being able
[29:22] Speaker 2: to use birth control.
[29:25] Speaker 3: And just continuously getting pregnant is one thing, like the
[29:28] Speaker 3: way I think that Jen Affleck must be doing it.
[29:30] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[29:33] Speaker 3: But having to go through, you know, massive treatments and
[29:38] Speaker 3: IVF and all that.
[29:40] Speaker 2: Of that, that's a lot. That is a lot. Now, Jessie,
[29:45] Speaker 2: she's concerning all the plastic surgery she's getting, and now
[29:47] Speaker 2: she's trying to fix the facial work that she had done.
[29:51] Speaker 2: She talked to Michaela and Macy about her Internet feud
[29:55] Speaker 2: with Chase. She blocked him after seeing him out Marciano. Like,
[30:00] Speaker 2: why is she like, stop? Like, you're so invested in this.
[30:03] Speaker 2: It's showing that you do care about Marciano.
[30:05] Speaker 3: And I mean, the problem is we also know now
[30:08] Speaker 3: that you are invested in Marciano.
[30:10] Speaker 2: So she's sitting at her plastic surgeon's or injection place
[30:13] Speaker 2: where I'm going today. Not that one, but my own.
[30:16] Speaker 2: Getting my face a little reunion ready a few weeks prior.
[30:20] Speaker 2: And the esthetician's like, No lips. No, we're not doing
[30:25] Speaker 2: your lips. And all I can think is like, you're
[30:28] Speaker 2: way too young. You're making yourself actually look older. I
[30:31] Speaker 2: thought she looked beautiful her first season. Me too. Beautiful. And,
[30:37] Speaker 2: but now she's also saying that she regrets doing it.
[30:41] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[30:42] Speaker 2: I understand why. I understand. That crafting scares the shit
[30:46] Speaker 2: out of me.
[30:47] Speaker 3: Well, I just think she just got done one thing
[30:50] Speaker 3: after another. And it's like, I think that's one of
[30:52] Speaker 3: those things where when you're not happy, you think if
[30:55] Speaker 3: I keep changing something internally, that then it's going to
[30:59] Speaker 3: make me happy or externally. Yeah.
[31:02] Speaker 2: I mean, we've all been there, but she's so young
[31:04] Speaker 2: and just to keep doing stuff and doing stuff.
[31:07] Speaker 3: And who are these doctors that do all of these
[31:09] Speaker 3: surgeries at one time?
[31:10] Speaker 2: At once. I know.
[31:11] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[31:12] Speaker 2: I mean, you hear so many.
[31:14] Speaker 3: Horror stories about this, but like, Do they just, in Utah,
[31:17] Speaker 3: they just let you get as many surgeries as you
[31:19] Speaker 3: want as long as you can pay for them?
[31:21] Speaker 2: I guess.
[31:24] Speaker 3: But I never even heard of a lower bleph.
[31:26] Speaker 2: Yeah. They take the skin underneath your eyelashes and pull
[31:31] Speaker 2: it up. And so I had that done.
[31:34] Speaker 3: I thought you had an upper bleph.
[31:36] Speaker 2: I had them both done. When you have a lower facelift,
[31:40] Speaker 2: if you pull this, you're going to get all the
[31:42] Speaker 2: wrinkling underneath your eyes. They got to pull the skin
[31:45] Speaker 2: up as well. They don't have to, but it's better
[31:48] Speaker 2: to do it that way.
[31:49] Speaker 3: I was always wondering why they call it the upper bleph,
[31:51] Speaker 3: because clearly the bleph is you're getting both blephs.
[31:55] Speaker 2: I don't even know what bleph means. What does bleph mean?
[31:57] Speaker 2: I don't know what bleph means either.
[32:03] Speaker 3: But I just, watching this whole thing, and then they're
[32:08] Speaker 3: kind of sitting in there with her while she's doing it.
[32:11] Speaker 3: The doctor's like, enough is enough. She's trying to dissolve stuff.
[32:16] Speaker 3: She's trying to get rid of stuff. She says it's
[32:18] Speaker 3: a huge mistake. She's not even healed from the surgery,
[32:21] Speaker 3: and she's already like, this was a huge mistake.
[32:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember seeing her back on social media and
[32:27] Speaker 2: saying that, I have to delete comments. Well, then stop
[32:30] Speaker 2: posting about your face. Yeah, then stop. When Tamara turned blue.
[32:34] Speaker 3: Or green or whatever color she was, she knew what
[32:36] Speaker 3: was happening.
[32:39] Speaker 2: What color did you turn? Blue.
[32:40] Speaker 3: Blue.
[32:42] Speaker 2: Blue. And yeah, then it probably turned to a nice
[32:44] Speaker 2: shade of green as it was peeling off. That was
[32:47] Speaker 2: Obagi Blue Pill and a CO2 laser at the same time.
[32:50] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
[32:51] Speaker 2: My face is starting to itch because I'm using that tretinoin. Yeah.
[32:55] Speaker 2: And it's starting to burn. I'm like, oh.
[32:57] Speaker 3: You're starting to feel it a little.
[32:58] Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like when it gets that ugly where you
[33:00] Speaker 2: actually look older before you look younger because your skin
[33:03] Speaker 2: gets so damn dry and peely. I'm like, can't wait
[33:06] Speaker 2: for that. You're like, loves it. Yeah.
[33:09] Speaker 3: Then Taylor, Layla, Chase, and Mason hang out. At their
[33:13] Speaker 3: friend Lydia's house. And Taylor comes clean about sleeping with Dakota.
[33:18] Speaker 2: At this point, I don't give a shit anymore. Three times.
[33:20] Speaker 3: Three times. Oh, yeah.
[33:22] Speaker 2: Not just once. Three times. I don't think Taylor.
[33:25] Speaker 3: Should ever be able to, like, have a hand in
[33:27] Speaker 3: telling anybody how to approach a relationship.
[33:31] Speaker 2: Like, the fact that we, I mean.
[33:35] Speaker 3: And also the stuff that Taylor has been posting on
[33:38] Speaker 3: Instagram right now is wild.
[33:40] Speaker 2: What is she doing now?
[33:42] Speaker 3: She's just like, she's really leaning into like the bad
[33:45] Speaker 3: girl of this. And she's like, you know, I just
[33:48] Speaker 3: have this star power that not everybody has.
[33:50] Speaker 2: And people are just jealous of it. Stop it. Yes.
[33:54] Speaker 2: And continues on and on and on.
[33:55] Speaker 3: I mean, there's been like 20 posts about how people
[33:58] Speaker 3: are just jealous at how much she just.
[34:02] Speaker 2: She keeps it up. She's going to lose everything. Yeah.
[34:04] Speaker 2: She's like, you know, it doesn't even matter if there's
[34:06] Speaker 2: drama involving me. I just have the it factor. And
[34:09] Speaker 2: then she unfollowed everybody from the cast. Yeah. Um, but it's,
[34:15] Speaker 2: it's still a lot.
[34:16] Speaker 3: Um, it's a lot.
[34:18] Speaker 2: Then the girls tell Jesse, she should leave Jordan.
[34:22] Speaker 3: She did.
[34:23] Speaker 2: She did.
[34:25] Speaker 3: She did.
[34:25] Speaker 2: I'm like, we don't even need to see this. Cause
[34:28] Speaker 2: we know that she did. We already know. Yeah. With
[34:32] Speaker 2: other dudes.
[34:33] Speaker 3: Now we know that that happened.
[34:35] Speaker 2: They're too far behind.
[34:36] Speaker 3: Um, Then in New York, Whitney FaceTimes Layla and learns
[34:40] Speaker 3: that Jen is coming to her Broadway debut. Whitney thinks
[34:43] Speaker 3: it's just disingenuous because the last thing that happened between
[34:47] Speaker 3: them was Zach showing up for their talk instead of Jen.
[34:49] Speaker 3: I had totally forgotten that she had sent Zach in
[34:52] Speaker 3: her place.
[34:52] Speaker 2: Should Whitney be happy Jen's going to support her or
[34:55] Speaker 2: is it performative like she said?
[34:59] Speaker 3: I think that Jen should have called Whitney and said, Hey, Whitney,
[35:03] Speaker 3: I'm really sorry about what happened.
[35:06] Speaker 2: I want to be there to support you. Is that
[35:08] Speaker 2: okay with you?
[35:08] Speaker 3: Like, I don't want to be there to affect anything that,
[35:12] Speaker 3: you know, like your biggest night of your life.
[35:15] Speaker 2: Well, Whitney's like, enjoy the show, bitch.
[35:17] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[35:18] Speaker 2: She's like, yeah, whatever. Okay. I really like Whitney. I
[35:21] Speaker 2: do too. She's so talented.
[35:25] Speaker 3: She's so talented.
[35:25] Speaker 2: I feel like I had no idea. Like, I feel
[35:28] Speaker 2: like they didn't really touch. Maybe they did, and I
[35:30] Speaker 2: don't remember. Like, all her training and dancing, and I
[35:34] Speaker 2: think it was one of the Dance with the Stars,
[35:38] Speaker 2: the pros said, oh, I danced my whole life with Whitney.
[35:42] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[35:42] Speaker 2: And I'm like, did we all know that? And I
[35:46] Speaker 2: also am loving Whitney's husband. Yeah. Which we didn't like
[35:49] Speaker 2: him in the past either. And he's on Dance with
[35:51] Speaker 2: the Stars, right? Yeah, Connor. He's on Dancing with the Stars.
[35:55] Speaker 2: And then she keeps doing like cameos on his reels.
[36:00] Speaker 3: To help promote him.
[36:02] Speaker 2: I love watching her dancing.
[36:04] Speaker 3: I love watching her dancing, too. I'm also know who
[36:06] Speaker 3: I'm loving watching dancing. Who? I'm loving Tyler Cameron and
[36:10] Speaker 3: Sharna Burgess's posts.
[36:13] Speaker 2: Like, I can't get enough of them. They're on Dancing
[36:15] Speaker 2: with the Stars.
[36:16] Speaker 3: Oh, somebody DMed me, and they're like, of course, they're like,
[36:20] Speaker 3: why don't you guys recap Dancing with the Stars?
[36:22] Speaker 2: I'm like, Tam would never.
[36:24] Speaker 3: And then they're like, why don't you and Tam go
[36:26] Speaker 3: on Dancing with the Stars?
[36:27] Speaker 2: And I was like, we would never. Tam would never.
[36:31] Speaker 2: We would never.
[36:33] Speaker 3: Like, we know our strengths and our weaknesses, and that
[36:36] Speaker 3: is beyond a weakness that we're.
[36:37] Speaker 2: Like, why would I want to embarrass myself like that?
[36:39] Speaker 2: I do that enough on Orange County, okay?
[36:43] Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, just even watching them practice or do,
[36:47] Speaker 3: I couldn't even do one of these reels.
[36:48] Speaker 2: And then thinking about having to compete against Jenna Dewan. No, no.
[36:53] Speaker 2: And she's like so sexy and she looks so hot.
[36:56] Speaker 3: And I'm like, me trying to do a sexy move,
[36:58] Speaker 3: it couldn't be more awkward. Right.
[37:01] Speaker 2: I mean, I'm always up for a challenge, but I
[37:03] Speaker 2: also know my limitations. Somebody's like, well, it's because people
[37:07] Speaker 2: watch it because they want to see growth.
[37:08] Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, that's before everybody was famous on the show.
[37:11] Speaker 2: Well, now they hire professional dancers like Whitney. Yeah.
[37:16] Speaker 3: And if they're not professional dancers, they've already shown that
[37:19] Speaker 3: they have dance experience through.
[37:21] Speaker 1: Trained.
[37:22] Speaker 3: Yeah. They're good at it.
[37:24] Speaker 2: They have rhythm.
[37:24] Speaker 3: We have none of those things.
[37:25] Speaker 2: Which I think is not fair, honestly.
[37:28] Speaker 3: I don't think it.
[37:29] Speaker 2: I think it takes a wave.
[37:30] Speaker 3: I think it makes it for a cool, you know,
[37:33] Speaker 3: thing if you love dancing to be able to watch
[37:35] Speaker 3: somebody that's incredible dancing. But like it's also enough can
[37:40] Speaker 3: be enough. Yeah. It's going to detour people from doing
[37:44] Speaker 3: that show.
[37:44] Speaker 2: Right. Well, let's move on. So in the car, Jesse, Macy,
[37:48] Speaker 2: and Michaela plan to ambush Chase and crash Dakota's birthday party.
[37:52] Speaker 2: Jesse jokes that his car will be easy to spot
[37:55] Speaker 2: because it's a white Tesla with a breathalyzer attached. I mean,
[37:59] Speaker 2: it's not attached to the outside, but I thought that
[38:01] Speaker 2: was pretty funny.
[38:02] Speaker 3: That was pretty funny.
[38:03] Speaker 2: And then she's like, should I park here? And somebody's like, oh,
[38:05] Speaker 2: nobody's going to notice a blue G-Wagon. Yeah, nobody should
[38:09] Speaker 2: notice it.
[38:10] Speaker 3: Chase pulls up and the girls confront him. And then
[38:12] Speaker 3: Michaela says, this is our show. And he says, might
[38:15] Speaker 3: be ours now, Michaela, because I'm on it too.
[38:22] Speaker 2: He's not a leading actor on that show.
[38:24] Speaker 3: No.
[38:24] Speaker 2: He's a backup singer. Well, when Jesse asked him if
[38:27] Speaker 2: he has the same salary as them, he says, I
[38:31] Speaker 2: got more than your husband. That's actually interesting. I'm wondering
[38:34] Speaker 2: if that's true. I don't know if he meant more
[38:38] Speaker 2: than your husband in normal life or more than your
[38:40] Speaker 2: husband gets for participating on this show.
[38:43] Speaker 3: Well, I need to know how much Chase is getting paid.
[38:46] Speaker 3: And is he getting paid per episode that he appears in?
[38:49] Speaker 2: Probably. He's paying his episodic rate. He probably is getting
[38:52] Speaker 2: paid a lot because he is a shitster.
[38:54] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:55] Speaker 2: Let's face it. Her husband doesn't do much. I mean,
[38:58] Speaker 2: but her husband's– like, I like her husband. Yeah. So
[39:02] Speaker 2: Macy gives Dakota her book for his birthday. I just
[39:07] Speaker 2: don't even know why they're wasting their time with Chase.
[39:10] Speaker 3: I don't know why they're wasting their time with Chase.
[39:13] Speaker 3: And like, I'm not sure if I feel like if
[39:16] Speaker 3: I left my book, like one, can Dakota read?
[39:19] Speaker 2: Two, like, is it going to happen? Really? What is
[39:25] Speaker 2: the point? Yes. Okay. They got to promote your book again,
[39:28] Speaker 2: but let's, be really clear.
[39:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[39:29] Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, I mean, oh, I might have one
[39:32] Speaker 2: of your books in the back of my car. Go
[39:35] Speaker 2: back there and look. Oh, and guess what? There's a
[39:37] Speaker 2: Sharpie right next to it.
[39:43] Speaker 1: Back to School is here, and you know what that means.
[39:46] Speaker 1: Dirty Rush is on. As campuses come back to life
[39:49] Speaker 1: and Rush Week kicks into high gear, we're taking you
[39:52] Speaker 1: inside the mysterious journey of a sorority girl, from pledging
[39:55] Speaker 1: to initiation and just about everything in between. Join me,
[39:59] Speaker 1: Gia Giudice, Daisy Kent, and Jen Fessler.
[40:02] Speaker 2: Dirty Rush takes you deep inside Greek life.
[40:05] Speaker 3: Let's get dirty.
[40:07] Speaker 1: Download the free iHeartRadio app, search Dirty Rush, and listen now.
[40:15] Speaker 3: Then Mom Talk meets up at a gym to film
[40:18] Speaker 3: contact before heading to New York.
[40:21] Speaker 2: I can't even imagine if we were like, all right, everybody,
[40:24] Speaker 2: come on, troops, let's meet. We're all going to dance around.
[40:27] Speaker 2: I mean, this is, it's a lot to take in. Yeah.
[40:34] Speaker 3: We get back to more of Whitney being surprised that
[40:37] Speaker 3: Jen is coming, but Jen says she's already committed to it,
[40:39] Speaker 3: so she'll be there.
[40:41] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[40:41] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[40:42] Speaker 2: Too bad. See you there.
[40:43] Speaker 3: Too bad.
[40:44] Speaker 2: Smell you later. I'm coming.
[40:47] Speaker 3: Then Taylor brings Michaela and Macy to tour homes with
[40:50] Speaker 3: her mom, who doesn't know she's slept with Dakota since
[40:52] Speaker 3: coming back from The Bachelorette.
[40:56] Speaker 2: And she probably shouldn't tell her either. I mean, she
[41:02] Speaker 2: shouldn't tell her.
[41:03] Speaker 3: But also I feel like this shows where Macy and
[41:05] Speaker 3: Michaela have reached their breaking point by enabling Taylor's bad
[41:08] Speaker 3: decisions and secrets.
[41:10] Speaker 2: Yeah. And like, how does the.
[41:11] Speaker 3: Mom not know?
[41:14] Speaker 2: I can go on with that, but I'm not going to.
[41:17] Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, because the mom seems very invested in
[41:20] Speaker 3: knowing what's going on and wanting to be on the
[41:22] Speaker 3: show as well.
[41:23] Speaker 2: Her mom is just an older version of Taylor. Yeah.
[41:27] Speaker 3: And I, but I also think I don't see Taylor
[41:31] Speaker 3: not telling her mom. Well, I mean, I feel like
[41:36] Speaker 3: she was so excited to tell everybody that. Why was
[41:39] Speaker 3: she so excited to tell everybody she was cheating on
[41:42] Speaker 3: her fiancé with multiple people?
[41:45] Speaker 2: Girl, I don't know. I don't know. Not self-aware.
[41:48] Speaker 3: Maybe it makes sense.
[41:49] Speaker 2: Well, then it gets exciting in episode three where MomTalk
[41:52] Speaker 2: makes it to New York City. Whitney thinks it'll be
[41:55] Speaker 2: good for Taylor to be on a girl's trip away.
[41:58] Speaker 2: No men. Meanwhile, Ben is waiting in Taylor's penthouse for her.
[42:03] Speaker 2: I got so embarrassed for Ben at this moment. And
[42:06] Speaker 2: I don't ever want a 10-floor penthouse with stairs.
[42:10] Speaker 3: No.
[42:11] Speaker 2: I've never even heard of that hotel.
[42:13] Speaker 3: When he was sitting right outside the elevator waiting for her,
[42:15] Speaker 3: and I was like, no, Ben.
[42:18] Speaker 2: Well, Ben, he checks in as Taylor's brother. Taylor just
[42:21] Speaker 2: seems to give zero fucks about the NDA with the bachelorette.
[42:25] Speaker 2: And then we find out that Jessie, who just said
[42:28] Speaker 2: she's not having any more procedures, wasn't there because she
[42:30] Speaker 2: had a breast procedure that she's having pain.
[42:33] Speaker 3: Yeah. And we're like, hold on, there's more surgeries.
[42:40] Speaker 2: But she's still coming.
[42:41] Speaker 3: She's just waiting an extra day because she wants to
[42:43] Speaker 3: heal a little more. I'm like, I'm sure that day
[42:45] Speaker 3: is going to do it. But then Taylor joins the
[42:49] Speaker 3: girls for dinner with, I feel like guilt is painted
[42:52] Speaker 3: all over her face.
[42:54] Speaker 2: Well, I almost feel like she wanted it to get out.
[42:56] Speaker 2: She's like, I'm like, what are you doing? I just
[43:03] Speaker 2: got to go. I got to go. Oh, is there
[43:07] Speaker 2: a guy? And then she leads them on, like, are
[43:09] Speaker 2: you taking nude?
[43:09] Speaker 3: She's like, I would never take a nude. What do
[43:11] Speaker 3: you mean? I would never take a nude.
[43:13] Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, yeah, you would never do a.
[43:14] Speaker 3: Lot of things.
[43:15] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[43:16] Speaker 3: I'm so sure.
[43:16] Speaker 2: It's not a good idea. Tell my kids that all
[43:19] Speaker 2: the time. Don't ever take a nude and send it
[43:21] Speaker 2: to anybody. No, you can't. My oldest son did that
[43:27] Speaker 2: 18 years ago. We talked about this in Big Bear
[43:30] Speaker 2: the other day when he was there with his girlfriend.
[43:32] Speaker 2: And then he, she put it on the internet. Nowadays
[43:37] Speaker 2: you get sued for that. And then he, I remember
[43:39] Speaker 2: him calling me and going, mom, if you get a
[43:41] Speaker 2: Google alert with my name on it or you see
[43:43] Speaker 2: an article, do not open it. Do not open it.
[43:48] Speaker 3: And I'm like, why?
[43:49] Speaker 2: He wouldn't even tell me. Of course I'm going to
[43:50] Speaker 2: open it.
[43:52] Speaker 3: Well, then Jen asked the girls if they think Whitney
[43:55] Speaker 3: actually wants to be friends with her.
[43:58] Speaker 2: The fact that they all can muster.
[43:59] Speaker 3: Up enough fakeness to say that they think she does
[44:02] Speaker 3: is amazing.
[44:02] Speaker 1: I know.
[44:03] Speaker 2: They're like, sure, we need you to be here right now, Jen. So, yep, we.
[44:08] Speaker 3: Definitely think she's thinking about you.
[44:10] Speaker 2: You're on the top of her priority list right now.
[44:12] Speaker 2: Then you have Taylor over there nonstop texting Ben at dinner.
[44:17] Speaker 2: It was so annoying. And then she's giggling. And I'm like, oh,
[44:21] Speaker 2: my God, this girl is sending me over the edge.
[44:24] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[44:24] Speaker 2: And then she's like, then she orders every dessert on
[44:27] Speaker 2: the menu. And then leaves. And then leaves. But I'm like,
[44:32] Speaker 2: Taylor's like, oh, you know, I'm.
[44:33] Speaker 3: Going to make this bill for dinner. So expensive. But
[44:37] Speaker 3: I have no use in it. Like, I'm just doing this, like,
[44:40] Speaker 3: as if she's taking over the bill. Like, no, we
[44:42] Speaker 3: know production's paying for this dinner.
[44:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, we do. Yeah. And, like, the guy's like, there's
[44:47] Speaker 2: a lot of desserts. You don't want to do all
[44:48] Speaker 2: of them. She's like, let's do them all. And this
[44:50] Speaker 2: is where they lost me. The whole Eminem Incorporated was
[44:54] Speaker 2: going to go check out– Taylor's room, they damn well
[44:59] Speaker 2: know that Ben's up there. I mean, this is where
[45:01] Speaker 2: the show really starts to look staged and scripted. The
[45:05] Speaker 2: girls think Taylor's using Ben to get back at Dakota.
[45:09] Speaker 2: I don't know if that's true. Don't really care.
[45:13] Speaker 3: Before that even happens, they enter and they find Ben
[45:16] Speaker 3: hidden on the third floor.
[45:18] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, please. Well, then how about when Ben tells
[45:23] Speaker 2: Taylor he wants a stable, long-term relationship? But honey, Taylor's
[45:27] Speaker 2: not your girl. She's quite the opposite. But I felt like.
[45:31] Speaker 3: When she first saw Ben, I feel like this is
[45:34] Speaker 3: the definition of what love bombing is. I think at
[45:36] Speaker 3: first she was really into Ben. I think she was
[45:40] Speaker 3: really bringing him in.
[45:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, that TikTok relationship, long distance, really pulled her in
[45:47] Speaker 2: and made her fall in love. Well, that's why I
[45:50] Speaker 2: think it's love bombing.
[45:51] Speaker 3: I think because then she's ended up posting– picture of
[45:56] Speaker 3: flowers that he sent her, like thinking of you.
[45:59] Speaker 2: I know you're probably sick of flowers, but I want
[46:01] Speaker 2: to see you.
[46:02] Speaker 3: But I don't know. Eminem Incorporated going up there and
[46:06] Speaker 3: finding him, I agree with you, felt a little staged.
[46:09] Speaker 3: But I love Eminem Incorporated. Then the next day, Taylor
[46:12] Speaker 3: and Ben take a bubble bath together and Taylor drinks
[46:15] Speaker 3: from the faucet.
[46:16] Speaker 2: This clip is clearly going viral.
[46:20] Speaker 3: And I understand why.
[46:20] Speaker 2: Look on her face. She's so crazy. Look on his face.
[46:25] Speaker 2: He was like. He was disgusted.
[46:27] Speaker 3: You could even see his little stash like.
[46:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, but even the bubble, the whole. I don't know.
[46:36] Speaker 3: You've taken a bath with somebody. I'm not a big
[46:38] Speaker 3: let me take a bath with somebody person.
[46:40] Speaker 2: Well, this really outdid my bubble bath scene. It really
[46:45] Speaker 2: outdid it.
[46:46] Speaker 3: Also, they started, you know, back to like this looking
[46:50] Speaker 3: at each other.
[46:51] Speaker 2: And then they rotated to being.
[46:53] Speaker 3: There, and then that's when she decided to taste the water,
[46:55] Speaker 3: and he looked disgusted. I also feel no sexual chemistry
[46:59] Speaker 3: between these two.
[47:00] Speaker 2: No, it's all weird. Zero.
[47:02] Speaker 3: While shopping, Layla tells the girls that she bought Mason
[47:05] Speaker 3: a Breitling watch for going back to school. The watch
[47:07] Speaker 3: is anywhere between $ 3, 500 and $ 48, 000.
[47:11] Speaker 2: I mean, that's a big price gap. Yeah. I seriously
[47:14] Speaker 2: doubt she bought the $ 48, 000 one, but I didn't realize
[47:17] Speaker 2: you needed a watch, a fancy watch for school. I
[47:21] Speaker 2: feel like I need Layla to take a class on
[47:24] Speaker 2: how not to get used. Yeah. I also feel like
[47:27] Speaker 2: a lot of this show is endorsement stuff, even down
[47:29] Speaker 2: to the reunion where they have the swig and all
[47:31] Speaker 2: that crap. Yeah. I just feel like, oh, did Brightland
[47:37] Speaker 2: pay you to say that? The show is just a
[47:40] Speaker 2: little bit too product placement. Yeah, product placement and staged.
[47:45] Speaker 3: But the girls ask Layla what Mason has gifted her recently,
[47:48] Speaker 3: and the only thing she can think of is a soda.
[47:50] Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, you got yourself a winner. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
[47:56] Speaker 3: I've taken him on multiple vacations, but he got me
[47:59] Speaker 3: a soda once.
[48:00] Speaker 2: No, he hasn't even gotten her a chicken dinner.
[48:02] Speaker 3: Then Taylor's getting ready for the night when Ben asks
[48:06] Speaker 3: if they would raise their hypothetical kids in the Mormon church.
[48:09] Speaker 3: And Taylor's like, well, I mean, there are hypotheticals.
[48:15] Speaker 2: He's like, well, your kids are already going to the church, right?
[48:18] Speaker 2: And she's like, I'm talking about ours. I mean, girl,
[48:23] Speaker 2: weren't you engaged to another man last week? We're talking
[48:26] Speaker 2: about kids now?
[48:28] Speaker 3: And we find out in a day from now you
[48:30] Speaker 3: don't even like him, but you're making him go down
[48:33] Speaker 3: the freaking kids spiral right now? Yeah.
[48:39] Speaker 2: Well, then we get to Whitney and her Broadway debut.
[48:42] Speaker 2: I wish we could have seen it, but we can't.
[48:44] Speaker 2: And the ladies thought she was incredible, which she is.
[48:46] Speaker 2: She's very talented. Jen slowly approaches Whitney. It was a
[48:52] Speaker 2: little bit cringy. She's slowly sneaking up on her.
[48:56] Speaker 3: I was self-conscious watching it. Like, I was like, don't
[49:00] Speaker 3: do this.
[49:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, so Jen approaches Whitney at the after party and
[49:04] Speaker 2: congratulates her, saying there's a lot of things you need
[49:07] Speaker 2: to talk about. But she didn't say it just once.
[49:09] Speaker 2: She said it like a few times, but not tonight,
[49:11] Speaker 2: not tonight. All I can think is, Whitney, you are
[49:14] Speaker 2: way too talented for this show. I think we can
[49:18] Speaker 2: see why Whitney's going to be gone soon. Yeah, yeah.
[49:21] Speaker 3: Like Whitney's got too much going on. And then I
[49:24] Speaker 3: also was like, I thought Jen didn't want to be
[49:26] Speaker 3: on the show. Now Jen is gung-ho for it. I
[49:29] Speaker 3: don't get it. And why did I just see pictures
[49:31] Speaker 3: of Jen moving, being like eight months pregnant, lifting heavy boxes?
[49:36] Speaker 2: I know, I saw that.
[49:37] Speaker 3: Then the girls end up talking to Layla and saying, like,
[49:39] Speaker 3: you need to have this conversation. And you can tell
[49:41] Speaker 3: Layla has no interest in having it. Yeah.
[49:44] Speaker 2: Your boyfriend is not good for you. And then we
[49:47] Speaker 2: do find out that they did break up. Yeah. And
[49:50] Speaker 2: so they're like, you know. And he's just sitting there,
[49:52] Speaker 2: taking it, not saying a word. It's an uncomfortable conversation.
[49:57] Speaker 2: Layla's on the other side. And she's just sitting there.
[50:00] Speaker 2: I mean, they're in the room.
[50:02] Speaker 3: Layla initiates a conversation with Mason about the imbalance in
[50:05] Speaker 3: their relationship.
[50:06] Speaker 2: I don't think that was the way to do it.
[50:08] Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
[50:08] Speaker 3: She could have just been like, I feel like you
[50:12] Speaker 3: don't really care about me. The fact that she made
[50:15] Speaker 3: it about an imbalance and like her all about money,
[50:18] Speaker 3: I think was.
[50:19] Speaker 2: Well, I think that she was tippy-toeing around it. She
[50:22] Speaker 2: was afraid if she said what she really wanted to say, like, listen,
[50:26] Speaker 2: I pay for everything. You don't do anything. But I
[50:30] Speaker 2: still think the fact that she.
[50:32] Speaker 3: Said an imbalance, I think that's why he wouldn't even
[50:35] Speaker 3: stay with her. She made the choice to pay for
[50:37] Speaker 3: everything for him.
[50:40] Speaker 2: It's not like he's sitting there.
[50:41] Speaker 3: Saying, can I have a Breitling watch?
[50:43] Speaker 2: Right, right, right, right. That's what I'm saying. I think
[50:45] Speaker 2: she needs a bit of therapy.
[50:48] Speaker 3: Yeah. And then all the women meet for lunch and
[50:51] Speaker 3: Whitney discusses her goals for the future. Jen seems a
[50:55] Speaker 3: bit jealous. And then Jen pulls Whitney away from the
[50:57] Speaker 3: table to talk one-on-one. And the conversation goes south. And
[51:01] Speaker 3: we will talk about that when we get back.
[51:05] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I can't wait for that. I feel like
[51:09] Speaker 2: Jen is a bit jealous of Whitney. She has everything
[51:12] Speaker 2: that Jen wants.
[51:13] Speaker 3: All right, guys. Thank you.
[51:15] Speaker 2: See you soon.
