[0:18] Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of The Twat Seat
[0:21] Speaker 2: with myself, Teddy Mellencamp.
[0:23] Speaker 3: And Tama Judge.
[0:24] Speaker 4: Today we got another twat we got in the seat.
[0:30] Speaker 2: Yes, Lacy, Lacy, welcome to the twat Seat. Did you
[0:35] Speaker 2: you know you're a twat when you come in right?
[0:38] Speaker 3: Look at her face?
[0:39] Speaker 4: She's like, wait, what it's not a traditional twat. It's
[0:43] Speaker 4: spelled with a oh yeah, ok w ot okay.
[0:46] Speaker 3: Yeah sore.
[0:48] Speaker 2: So the first twatty move we're gonna call you on
[0:52] Speaker 2: is that Jesse is here in the interview.
[0:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, but no microphone.
[0:57] Speaker 2: I have no microphone, not doing it inter you it's
[1:00] Speaker 2: it's giving what is giving codependent vibes?
[1:03] Speaker 3: Guys.
[1:04] Speaker 5: I happen to be in l A and I'm rarely
[1:07] Speaker 5: like driving up to his house, so I did drag
[1:10] Speaker 5: him here.
[1:11] Speaker 4: But I thought it would be like, I don't know
[1:13] Speaker 4: why he you can't be on camera?
[1:15] Speaker 6: Why can't you be on camera? Is there a reason
[1:17] Speaker 6: he can't?
[1:19] Speaker 3: Well, there's a microphone right now.
[1:21] Speaker 6: We could pull it right onto you.
[1:23] Speaker 3: We just don't have a camera on ya.
[1:25] Speaker 7: Well, we don't need that.
[1:26] Speaker 6: He already did it. Remember he was with you in
[1:28] Speaker 6: this suit.
[1:29] Speaker 3: No, but that that was the first time he came in.
[1:32] Speaker 3: But then the second time he did it with Alexis.
[1:34] Speaker 7: But he did the first time I came on first
[1:38] Speaker 7: podcast ever.
[1:40] Speaker 5: It was his first podcast, and he was so nervous
[1:43] Speaker 5: and excited and he like loved Teddy like he was like,
[1:46] Speaker 5: we are besties.
[1:47] Speaker 6: I don't know if you feel the same way. No, really,
[1:49] Speaker 6: like we have like a baby.
[1:50] Speaker 1: Well.
[1:51] Speaker 7: Thing was, remember she was stalking me on Instagram.
[1:55] Speaker 3: You didn't you say that he was hitting on you? Yeah?
[1:58] Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, he's definitely hitting on me.
[1:59] Speaker 7: I mean the entire the.
[2:02] Speaker 6: You're a little flirty and it's like, no, she's got
[2:04] Speaker 6: my band turn. I was like, whatever, yellow, I don't like.
[2:07] Speaker 3: I think everyone's getting on of me.
[2:09] Speaker 2: I have an unhealthy version of self security.
[2:13] Speaker 3: Even when I'm bald.
[2:14] Speaker 6: I think it's it's good to be flirty. Though it
[2:17] Speaker 6: was flirty.
[2:18] Speaker 7: I mean the first time I came in, you guys
[2:19] Speaker 7: had champagne everywhere.
[2:21] Speaker 5: I know.
[2:21] Speaker 6: I was looking like, well, they brought coke coke?
[2:25] Speaker 4: Do you drink alcohol?
[2:26] Speaker 3: Lay?
[2:27] Speaker 6: I do?
[2:27] Speaker 5: But I don't day drink and I don't drink a lot.
[2:31] Speaker 5: And when I do drink a lot, like I get
[2:34] Speaker 5: turned up? You do I drank? Am I allowed to
[2:37] Speaker 5: say on the show? I drank the last night in Mexico.
[2:39] Speaker 4: You drink the last night, so I know we see
[2:41] Speaker 4: you a lot of times with those little glass bottles.
[2:43] Speaker 4: Or I did want to la of Coca cola.
[2:46] Speaker 6: I do.
[2:47] Speaker 5: I really hate ice and drinks, so like I only
[2:51] Speaker 5: like the coke in the bottle.
[2:53] Speaker 4: You're drinking a coke and a can right now?
[2:54] Speaker 6: No, like, yeah, any without ice?
[2:56] Speaker 3: Oh gotcha. She doesn't want ice.
[2:59] Speaker 6: I just don't like the taste. It waters it down.
[3:01] Speaker 3: Fair enough, fair enough, fair enough.
[3:04] Speaker 7: She also was very you know, there was a safety
[3:08] Speaker 7: issue when it came to the girls. I don't want
[3:10] Speaker 7: to say safety and put words in her mouth, but
[3:13] Speaker 7: she was like, like the first night in Mexico, you'll
[3:16] Speaker 7: see she was like, I won't be there till the
[3:18] Speaker 7: second day. Please don't drink on the first night. Like
[3:21] Speaker 7: it's like I want to come into like a safe,
[3:24] Speaker 7: comfortable space. So that was a lot of what was
[3:26] Speaker 7: going on. It's like, you know, she's under a roof
[3:29] Speaker 7: in San Diego with my ex wife and her three
[3:32] Speaker 7: mean girlfriends, so like she's coming into a space that's
[3:35] Speaker 7: already a little hostile, Like there's no reason for us
[3:38] Speaker 7: to make it even more unsafe by drinking.
[3:41] Speaker 6: And was it unsafe?
[3:42] Speaker 5: I just get turned up when I drink, so I
[3:45] Speaker 5: just have self awareness whatever, But I never said unsafe.
[3:49] Speaker 5: I don't want it to be like Lacey says, the
[3:51] Speaker 5: girls are unsafe.
[3:52] Speaker 7: Well, no, I'm just That's why I said. I don't
[3:53] Speaker 7: want to put words in your mouth. But it was
[3:55] Speaker 7: like a feeling of safe.
[3:57] Speaker 5: So Jesse says, if I don't have to drink, if
[4:01] Speaker 5: I know everyone in the room hates me, I won't
[4:03] Speaker 5: start doing tequila shots.
[4:04] Speaker 6: If I feel comfortable, then I will drink.
[4:06] Speaker 4: Do you feel like the girls hate you on the show?
[4:09] Speaker 5: Well, like first half of the season, I'm going into
[4:11] Speaker 5: a room where you know, you have a history with
[4:13] Speaker 5: people disliking you or you're hearing things about them, So
[4:16] Speaker 5: I'm obviously I'm not, you know, day drinking. But by
[4:19] Speaker 5: the end of the season, I.
[4:20] Speaker 4: Well, there was a lot of talk on season one
[4:23] Speaker 4: that you or was it season two, I can't remember,
[4:24] Speaker 4: that you were going to sue them, and you didn't
[4:27] Speaker 4: want any part of the show, and you've come out
[4:29] Speaker 4: and said that's absolutely not true. Can you explain that.
[4:32] Speaker 5: I know, I hate what an asshole I look like.
[4:35] Speaker 5: I never suit anyone. I've actually never been in a
[4:37] Speaker 5: lawsuit in my life.
[4:38] Speaker 3: Did you send an action right now?
[4:41] Speaker 5: I did send Michelle a ceasoned assists via email, and
[4:45] Speaker 5: I included verbage like you don't need to reply, you
[4:47] Speaker 5: don't need to hire anyone.
[4:49] Speaker 6: Just please stop saying this this.
[4:50] Speaker 3: And can you just write those up yourself or do
[4:52] Speaker 3: you have to get a lord?
[4:53] Speaker 5: I mean, I had my attorney write it up because
[4:55] Speaker 5: I already had like a great attorney and a divorce attorney.
[4:58] Speaker 5: And it was like, in a he's like a family friend.
[5:01] Speaker 5: So it wasn't to me like I'm like getting a
[5:04] Speaker 5: briefcase and walking in. But I do feel still till
[5:07] Speaker 5: this day, like I know, maybe you guys I've heard,
[5:10] Speaker 5: like I listened to the podcast parts where he'll show me,
[5:13] Speaker 5: and like I still feel strong and validated in it.
[5:16] Speaker 5: So like I know the audience and they're like, oh, well,
[5:18] Speaker 5: she doesn't even want her name named, and now she's there.
[5:20] Speaker 6: It wasn't about my name.
[5:21] Speaker 5: It was more the things they were saying about me
[5:24] Speaker 5: and me as a parent were salacious, and like, I
[5:26] Speaker 5: am a single parent and I don't want my parenting
[5:29] Speaker 5: potentially impacted, so like I don't want people to not
[5:34] Speaker 5: know me and I'm not there and to be saying
[5:36] Speaker 5: these things. And I still feel validated in it, and like,
[5:40] Speaker 5: I know it's like I'm dating him, but we were
[5:42] Speaker 5: only dating a few months, Like I feel validated.
[5:44] Speaker 4: So I was at your hesitation for going on that
[5:46] Speaker 4: season is because you guys were just dating.
[5:48] Speaker 5: We were newly dating, and I knew that their divorce
[5:50] Speaker 5: was very contentious, like it was not like mine, Like
[5:52] Speaker 5: they were at what you guys watched, so like, yeah,
[5:55] Speaker 5: I was like, there's no win for me.
[5:57] Speaker 7: Were dating a few months before or Michelle even filed,
[6:01] Speaker 7: so it was like we were all trying to figure
[6:03] Speaker 7: it out.
[6:03] Speaker 3: And how did you guys meet?
[6:05] Speaker 6: We met in like on bumble.
[6:09] Speaker 7: In twenty fourteen.
[6:12] Speaker 6: Fourteen, I just said twenty thirteen.
[6:13] Speaker 5: I don't know, it was like ten twelve years ago,
[6:15] Speaker 5: So we met on Can I tell the story?
[6:17] Speaker 7: You tell it so poorly, but yeah, go ahead, I
[6:19] Speaker 7: think I'm a.
[6:19] Speaker 3: Good story about your guys.
[6:21] Speaker 4: Just banter cracks me up. We have a lot of
[6:23] Speaker 4: questions about you.
[6:24] Speaker 6: I'll be fast.
[6:25] Speaker 5: So we met on the Bumblebe app. It was like
[6:27] Speaker 5: twenty thirteen or fourteen. He knows the facts better and
[6:31] Speaker 5: I was working in LA. I was working on a
[6:33] Speaker 5: styling firms, so I used to drive to downtown LA
[6:36] Speaker 5: and then I would get dinner out here with my
[6:37] Speaker 5: girlfriends after if I was already down here, and so
[6:40] Speaker 5: we would talk on this app and I would always
[6:41] Speaker 5: be like, come meet us for dinner, and he would.
[6:43] Speaker 5: He was kind of low key's still douchebag, but I
[6:47] Speaker 5: love him, like I know, I'm I get so much hate.
[6:49] Speaker 5: But he would always be like, hit me up after
[6:51] Speaker 5: your dinner and I was like, well, no, a date
[6:52] Speaker 5: is like you come and buy me dinner, Like, I'm
[6:54] Speaker 5: not going to call you at eleven o'clock at night.
[6:56] Speaker 6: So this went back and forth.
[6:58] Speaker 7: For months, and in my defense, gotten out of a
[7:00] Speaker 7: six year relationship. I signed up on all these apps.
[7:03] Speaker 7: I was in my early thirties. I just started my
[7:05] Speaker 7: real estate business and I was just looking to meet
[7:09] Speaker 7: people and have fun.
[7:11] Speaker 6: Yeah, but I remember been, I mean we were.
[7:16] Speaker 5: And he his phone still had all our old texts,
[7:19] Speaker 5: like when we met, but anyway, I'm a better quicker storyteller.
[7:34] Speaker 5: So we never met in person, and then we were
[7:37] Speaker 5: Instagram friends and we both like respectively married other people.
[7:41] Speaker 5: It's like, I'm still Instagram friends probably with every guy
[7:43] Speaker 5: I connected with on the Bumblebee app.
[7:46] Speaker 6: I don't even know.
[7:46] Speaker 3: This is it bumble bee.
[7:48] Speaker 7: It's bumble but it's the bumble app. But the bumblebee,
[7:52] Speaker 7: the bee is there like logo and on your notes.
[7:54] Speaker 6: About me, it had a bumblebee okay whatever.
[7:57] Speaker 4: So.
[7:58] Speaker 7: I had to have it on my So we texted
[8:01] Speaker 7: for like eight months NonStop every day.
[8:06] Speaker 5: I never met, and he started dming me on Instagram
[8:09] Speaker 5: like fall of twenty twenty three, and I was already
[8:11] Speaker 5: divorced at this point, and he's like, hey, I.
[8:14] Speaker 6: Noticed your husband's not with you. And I was like,
[8:16] Speaker 6: what a freak.
[8:17] Speaker 5: He's married as far as I know, Like I thought
[8:18] Speaker 5: he was married to someone else and the show hadn't
[8:20] Speaker 5: come out yet, so I'm just like, this married man
[8:22] Speaker 5: with a child is dming me. I'm gonna message his
[8:25] Speaker 5: wife because they hate that shit. And then he DM
[8:29] Speaker 5: me again. I just like didn't reply, and he was like,
[8:31] Speaker 5: I'm sorry, my grandma passed away and she like raised me.
[8:33] Speaker 5: She's like my best friend and he's like, I'm so sorry.
[8:36] Speaker 5: Just so you know, I'm going through a divorce. If
[8:38] Speaker 5: you ever need a friend, I think you are too.
[8:39] Speaker 5: And then we finally met and had lunch. But it
[8:42] Speaker 5: was a long time coming, and our kids had the
[8:44] Speaker 5: same like friend.
[8:45] Speaker 7: Group and it was the best, like first story, it
[8:49] Speaker 7: was the best first lunch date. Because when we're messaging
[8:52] Speaker 7: on Instagram and this was probably about three months after
[8:55] Speaker 7: Michelle and I separated and we were messaging, I was like,
[8:57] Speaker 7: can I get your number? And I put it in
[8:59] Speaker 7: my phone and I was like, oh my god, I
[9:01] Speaker 7: still have it saved from all those years ago. And
[9:03] Speaker 7: then on first date, we went back to the first
[9:06] Speaker 7: text we ever sent and we're going through there.
[9:08] Speaker 6: I was giving him such a hard time.
[9:10] Speaker 7: I was like, you're such an asshole. You didn't invite
[9:12] Speaker 7: me on it and I was like, what, you didn't
[9:13] Speaker 7: never hit me up? And that was that.
[9:16] Speaker 3: So you met the bumblebee app. Now I'm going to
[9:21] Speaker 3: call it that. I'm on the hinge?
[9:23] Speaker 7: Are you?
[9:23] Speaker 3: Are you going to be on the bumble bee app?
[9:24] Speaker 8: Now?
[9:25] Speaker 3: No, I'm on the hinge.
[9:26] Speaker 6: The hinally from the Valley.
[9:29] Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't have a profile, but.
[9:33] Speaker 4: I did a question, you know, questions for you on
[9:35] Speaker 4: my story on Instagram, and I would say ninety percent
[9:38] Speaker 4: of them would be do you like Jesse?
[9:42] Speaker 3: Most of them said that, like does she really like Jesse?
[9:44] Speaker 5: I feel like it's so hard because I know that
[9:48] Speaker 5: my personality is like I give every guy a hard time.
[9:51] Speaker 6: Like I just prefer women in general. But I'm not
[9:54] Speaker 6: like lesbian.
[9:55] Speaker 7: I just prefer that's a SoundBite.
[10:00] Speaker 3: I know lesbian.
[10:01] Speaker 5: I just prefer well, just like not actually, but I
[10:04] Speaker 5: just want to always root for the women, like I
[10:06] Speaker 5: like when he's telling me even when we met, like
[10:09] Speaker 5: I always give the woman the benefit of the doubts.
[10:11] Speaker 5: So it's like hard for me not to give him
[10:12] Speaker 5: a hard time. But I do feel I don't want
[10:15] Speaker 5: to blame the show or anything, but I do feel
[10:17] Speaker 5: like you're seeing these little minuscule moments where we're laughing,
[10:21] Speaker 5: like that I love you bit. It's like I just
[10:23] Speaker 5: told this on another podcast, but like that's like we
[10:25] Speaker 5: have an inside joke about when we first said I
[10:27] Speaker 5: love you because I wouldn't say it back.
[10:29] Speaker 6: And then this was a.
[10:29] Speaker 7: Year, I commented on that podcast this morning because I
[10:32] Speaker 7: finally said it.
[10:33] Speaker 5: Back and he literally spit in my face, like he
[10:35] Speaker 5: was laughing so hard he laughed and spit in my face.
[10:37] Speaker 5: So I'm always like, I'm never saying I love you again.
[10:39] Speaker 7: But it's like you're saying, miss you're missing the best
[10:41] Speaker 7: part of the story. My gosh, the best part of
[10:43] Speaker 7: the story. And I posted.
[10:46] Speaker 3: Comment but we're going to go all the time was.
[10:48] Speaker 7: We're in New York City and we're in a cab
[10:50] Speaker 7: and we had an amazing dinner with her friend that
[10:52] Speaker 7: lives there, and we were just dying laughing, and she said,
[10:55] Speaker 7: you know, I love you and I looked her straight
[10:57] Speaker 7: in the face and I said, well, my work here
[10:59] Speaker 7: is done. And that was my answer to the her
[11:01] Speaker 7: first I love you, so for her saying thank and
[11:04] Speaker 7: like then I laughed. We started laughing about it so
[11:06] Speaker 7: hard that I literally spit in her face by accident,
[11:09] Speaker 7: he did, And it was like our running joke that
[11:11] Speaker 7: we like have this way.
[11:13] Speaker 5: I mean, listen, as long as you feel love, Jesse,
[11:16] Speaker 5: that's all that matters, Jesse is I know the audience
[11:18] Speaker 5: down Jesse's what's most important. And he feels loved and
[11:22] Speaker 5: he is safe.
[11:23] Speaker 7: And I said in the after show because they brought
[11:25] Speaker 7: it up, and I said, look, when she says I
[11:28] Speaker 7: love you, or she says I'm proud of you because
[11:30] Speaker 7: it's you and I want to say few and far between,
[11:32] Speaker 7: but when she says it, it like changes the trajectory
[11:35] Speaker 7: of my day, like if I do something, you know.
[11:37] Speaker 7: I was working down in Laguna and she texted me
[11:40] Speaker 7: when I got out of my meeting and she was like,
[11:42] Speaker 7: I'm so proud of you, and I was like, it
[11:44] Speaker 7: is like little kids, you know, like.
[11:47] Speaker 6: Little abuser, Like you're like a little golden that I
[11:55] Speaker 6: don't know.
[11:56] Speaker 5: And like I used to not be like that, I'm
[11:58] Speaker 5: more stoic now because life is kicked my ass. It's
[12:00] Speaker 5: like you go through enough relationships where you're maybe someone's not.
[12:04] Speaker 6: Faithful to you or treats soon a wrong way, like
[12:06] Speaker 6: you do.
[12:06] Speaker 5: I have a guardup for sure, But I mean Jesse's
[12:09] Speaker 5: like my best friend, So you could.
[12:10] Speaker 8: Tell you have a guard up, which is not Yeah,
[12:12] Speaker 8: you can tell you have a guard up because I think,
[12:14] Speaker 8: but you also are afraid what people are going to
[12:17] Speaker 8: say about you and do to you, which I can
[12:20] Speaker 8: assure you I've gotten the worst of it.
[12:22] Speaker 4: See, I feel like she's a type that's not going
[12:24] Speaker 4: to let anybody do shit to her.
[12:25] Speaker 6: I just have a guardup, like I feel like and listen.
[12:30] Speaker 5: I don't know what response it is, but I've always
[12:32] Speaker 5: kind of just like, I don't know, it's harder for
[12:35] Speaker 5: me to let people in.
[12:36] Speaker 2: So what made you decide to make your debut on
[12:38] Speaker 2: season three money?
[12:40] Speaker 6: No, I'm just kidding. I wanted to go. It was
[12:47] Speaker 6: a hard one.
[12:48] Speaker 5: We went back and forth for like, we went back
[12:51] Speaker 5: and forth the whole time, because it's hard to want
[12:54] Speaker 5: to divent yourself. It's also like I don't live in
[12:56] Speaker 5: the valley. I don't want to schlept to the valley.
[12:59] Speaker 5: But like I will say, over the last year, I
[13:02] Speaker 5: did pursue more like meaningful friendships with his friend group,
[13:06] Speaker 5: and we've spent time together and it's not as weird
[13:08] Speaker 5: as like me going a year ago and not knowing
[13:10] Speaker 5: any of these.
[13:11] Speaker 7: People, not even meeting most of them. I think the
[13:14] Speaker 7: first time you met a lot of people was like
[13:17] Speaker 7: the episode three viewing party at Jack's Bar, and we
[13:20] Speaker 7: went there and she met all these people for the
[13:23] Speaker 7: first time. So imagine she'd been filming like, you know,
[13:26] Speaker 7: Michelle and Michelle and Aaron. Aaron jumped in right away
[13:30] Speaker 7: and I hadn't even met him. He hadn't even met
[13:33] Speaker 7: half of the people on the show, and here he
[13:35] Speaker 7: is jumping right in. We just thought it was it
[13:37] Speaker 7: was number one. I've always said, she's the first woman
[13:41] Speaker 7: who's met my daughter, you know, after her mom, which
[13:44] Speaker 7: is a transition, and she has a young daughter, and
[13:46] Speaker 7: it's just it's too much at that beginning point of
[13:49] Speaker 7: a relationship. I think to just jump onto a TV
[13:52] Speaker 7: show with the giant.
[13:53] Speaker 6: I thought it was weird and if I jumped on.
[13:54] Speaker 7: But then this year, the funniest thing was I'm in
[13:57] Speaker 7: my pre production meeting and Jasmine gets up for me
[14:00] Speaker 7: and I sit down with you know, showrunner and producers,
[14:03] Speaker 7: and they're like, what can we do to get you
[14:06] Speaker 7: to help us get Lacey on the show, because Jasmine
[14:08] Speaker 7: just said, we need to see beta Jesse around around Lacey.
[14:11] Speaker 7: And I was like, all right, you know, I don't
[14:13] Speaker 7: there's no win for us, but if you want to
[14:15] Speaker 7: do like one dinner with Kristin and Luke to see
[14:18] Speaker 7: our dynamic, you also.
[14:19] Speaker 5: Forget the dumb things you say. And then I never
[14:22] Speaker 5: see it again.
[14:23] Speaker 2: Well, I where I appreciated your love for Jesse the
[14:28] Speaker 2: most is when you were getting him ready to be
[14:32] Speaker 2: joh and drag. Well, that's a passion of mine that
[14:35] Speaker 2: you could tell that you were really into it and
[14:38] Speaker 2: he was really proud of it, and so at that moment,
[14:42] Speaker 2: I was.
[14:42] Speaker 3: Like, you know what, I'm okay, I get I get
[14:44] Speaker 3: them now.
[14:45] Speaker 6: Well, it's something I'm passionate about.
[14:47] Speaker 5: You also, like, I hope the audience keeps in mind
[14:49] Speaker 5: I'm not trying to like go with my soapbox so
[14:51] Speaker 5: they like me.
[14:51] Speaker 6: I try.
[14:52] Speaker 5: I Like, I know some people can't be swayed, but like,
[14:55] Speaker 5: I'm not passionate about sitting in two hours of traffic
[14:58] Speaker 5: to drive to jockspar and then or hobby er century say,
[15:01] Speaker 5: but I'm passionate about drags. So like when we were
[15:04] Speaker 5: there having fun doing glam, I was like, okay, Like
[15:06] Speaker 5: I'm having fun, I feel like comfortable.
[15:09] Speaker 4: Yeah, there was a lot of talk that you just
[15:11] Speaker 4: wanted to be on reality TV, that you tried out
[15:13] Speaker 4: for Orange County so many times, which is so weird
[15:16] Speaker 4: because being the longest running housewife on Orange County.
[15:19] Speaker 3: She hates saying that.
[15:20] Speaker 6: By the way, I think it's an honor.
[15:23] Speaker 7: I think it's Instagram bio. I think, no, it's not.
[15:27] Speaker 2: But I'm just the longest non consecutive Yeah, I even
[15:31] Speaker 2: got fired for two years and I'm still the longest talking.
[15:35] Speaker 3: But she never fuck up. But I've never heard your
[15:40] Speaker 3: name thrown around.
[15:41] Speaker 4: So that's why I'm like, why who's saying that you've
[15:44] Speaker 4: been trying out all these times?
[15:46] Speaker 6: I it's usually we get, we get think.
[15:48] Speaker 5: I actually am so mad at myself because I think
[15:50] Speaker 5: I literally started the room.
[15:53] Speaker 6: I tried out like time, no, no, no.
[15:55] Speaker 5: So I you live in Orange County, you know obviously,
[16:00] Speaker 5: like every year they do like housewives casting, and I
[16:02] Speaker 5: always know what it is because like twenty people will
[16:04] Speaker 5: DM me and be like can I have your glam
[16:06] Speaker 5: team like something special and like you'll see all the women.
[16:09] Speaker 5: Like I'm like, I know, you know, like you know
[16:11] Speaker 5: if you grow up there. I was born there, like
[16:14] Speaker 5: so in like twenty sixteen, they reached out to me
[16:16] Speaker 5: on Instagram. It was a guy named Matt Matthew and
[16:19] Speaker 5: he was like can yeah. He was like, can you
[16:21] Speaker 5: do a zoom? We would love to learn more about
[16:23] Speaker 5: you and he he had zoomed with like a bunch
[16:25] Speaker 5: of my friends and I did the zoom and I
[16:27] Speaker 5: was like, this would be awesome, like I'm so young though,
[16:29] Speaker 5: like and I wasn't married yet, but I was doing
[16:33] Speaker 5: work in like the court system, and I was like,
[16:34] Speaker 5: this would be cool to talk about. And then they
[16:38] Speaker 5: just didn't choose me. But I posted on my Instagram.
[16:40] Speaker 5: I was like, I'm doing an interview for Housewives today
[16:43] Speaker 5: or zoom. I guess it's not like you go line
[16:45] Speaker 5: up and interview. And then they approached me again and
[16:48] Speaker 5: I still have the text, like I wish I showed it,
[16:50] Speaker 5: but I just said I'm not a candidate. It was
[16:52] Speaker 5: when I was going through my divorce and it was
[16:53] Speaker 5: a different woman and I.
[16:56] Speaker 6: Yeah, I said I'm not in ball. I have the text.
[16:59] Speaker 5: I was like, you know, I'm not a candidate, and
[17:01] Speaker 5: I was a little bit like matter of fact, I
[17:03] Speaker 5: was in a really dark play. It was right when
[17:04] Speaker 5: my grandma passed away, and I was like, I'm not
[17:05] Speaker 5: a candidate now wherever, which I think made her like
[17:09] Speaker 5: more like why you know it'sin and I was like,
[17:12] Speaker 5: I'm just in a really dark place.
[17:14] Speaker 6: But it wasn't like but who on your show? The Valley.
[17:16] Speaker 4: Who was saying that. Who was the one spreading that
[17:19] Speaker 4: rumor that you tried out so many times?
[17:21] Speaker 5: I think I actually still think I spread that rumor.
[17:24] Speaker 5: I'm like mad at myself because I'm too honest. It's
[17:26] Speaker 5: like my ADHD, like I say too many details and
[17:29] Speaker 5: then I end up like saying the wrong SoundBite. But
[17:31] Speaker 5: what happened was at Jack's bar when Janet and I
[17:34] Speaker 5: first met, I was trying to buy everyone around a drink,
[17:36] Speaker 5: so I was like, I'm gonna make camaraderie. And she
[17:38] Speaker 5: had said this joke and she's like, oh yeah, I
[17:40] Speaker 5: read online. You know you auditioned for Househouse all these times,
[17:43] Speaker 5: and then throughout them filming that season, when the girls
[17:47] Speaker 5: were talking and saying all these things about me by
[17:51] Speaker 5: my back, it felt more, you.
[17:52] Speaker 7: Know, like it kind of got exploited a little bit.
[17:55] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[17:55] Speaker 4: But yeah, as Andy Cohn would say, so what you
[17:59] Speaker 4: tried out a lot of times is that about well?
[18:00] Speaker 5: And the other thing is what I don't seventeen times
[18:03] Speaker 5: I have to like lineup, I didn't date Jesse on Bumble.
[18:06] Speaker 6: In twenty twenty four to Long Game the Valley, like
[18:10] Speaker 6: but twenty fourteen.
[18:12] Speaker 5: Sorry anyway, but you know, like Jane and I have
[18:16] Speaker 5: talked about that since.
[18:30] Speaker 2: Well, speaking of dating, I just need to know. I
[18:32] Speaker 2: really need to know who the Baywatch guy is.
[18:35] Speaker 3: I forgot about.
[18:37] Speaker 7: Sorry.
[18:37] Speaker 4: I know it's not David Househof because you've blocked.
[18:41] Speaker 3: He blocked you.
[18:42] Speaker 1: I know.
[18:43] Speaker 2: I made Jesse talk about his trim spot ads and
[18:46] Speaker 2: oh my god, and Nicole Smith.
[18:49] Speaker 3: So I feel like the least you got that out
[18:51] Speaker 3: of me.
[18:51] Speaker 7: You were the first person I know.
[18:53] Speaker 6: So I feel like, you know what you can codon.
[18:56] Speaker 2: You have a sweater he put on our fur. Thank
[19:00] Speaker 2: it from our podcast room. But please just give me
[19:04] Speaker 2: a hint, give me initials.
[19:06] Speaker 6: Initial it was?
[19:07] Speaker 5: It was Shena and I were talking about dating post divorce,
[19:12] Speaker 5: and I really felt like we were having this like
[19:13] Speaker 5: girl talk moment.
[19:14] Speaker 3: Oh wow.
[19:15] Speaker 5: And I was like, you know, I dated this guy
[19:17] Speaker 5: in Utah, I dated this guy on Baywatch, and I
[19:20] Speaker 5: was kind of comparing all the dynamics how weird it
[19:23] Speaker 5: is to date once you're divorced because she was divorced.
[19:26] Speaker 5: And I can't say his name because I promised they wouldn't,
[19:28] Speaker 5: and I don't want to.
[19:29] Speaker 3: Go, but is he a main main catake?
[19:32] Speaker 4: Was he a watch Baywatch, Like, I wasn't like the
[19:37] Speaker 4: original Baywatch.
[19:38] Speaker 7: You were like like nine.
[19:42] Speaker 4: How so I had to been like the a Sun
[19:45] Speaker 4: on Baywatch. I told for you.
[19:48] Speaker 2: You always thought it was that guy the Sun. Yeah,
[19:53] Speaker 2: I never thought it was him because he looked all
[19:55] Speaker 2: royded out to me.
[19:56] Speaker 7: Well, the funny thing about that story was we were
[19:59] Speaker 7: at a party and when you know, I think I
[20:01] Speaker 7: had introduced her to Sheena for the first time, and
[20:03] Speaker 7: they were all hanging out and getting on because we're
[20:06] Speaker 7: all at a party at a mutual franchise.
[20:09] Speaker 2: Everybody that she's crazy.
[20:12] Speaker 7: Part what happened was the reason I called her at
[20:14] Speaker 7: the table because I was behind them when she was
[20:17] Speaker 7: telling the story and it was like, oh, I was
[20:19] Speaker 7: dating this guy from Baywatch and then I met Jesse,
[20:21] Speaker 7: and Jesse and I started dating. There was no crossover.
[20:25] Speaker 6: I think there was like a date crossover.
[20:27] Speaker 7: It was like a day maybe, But I knew that
[20:29] Speaker 7: she told the story. I remember the story because I
[20:32] Speaker 7: wasn't drinking, and when I called Sheena, I thought I
[20:38] Speaker 7: have to clarify because I was clear as is could be.
[20:41] Speaker 7: I was standing right behind them and I heard the story.
[20:44] Speaker 7: So I called Sheena thinking there's no way she's gonna
[20:46] Speaker 7: lie about this. And then she confirmed that there was
[20:49] Speaker 7: like this crossover, and you see the look in my
[20:51] Speaker 7: face at the table. I'm like thanks, because it was
[20:55] Speaker 7: a complete fabrication of the story because I knew.
[20:58] Speaker 5: The story didn't work there because I could not prove
[21:00] Speaker 5: that it was faulty.
[21:01] Speaker 6: So you know, whatever, So what happened.
[21:04] Speaker 5: I did say it, like I didn't say it in
[21:06] Speaker 5: that context, which is frustrating.
[21:08] Speaker 7: But and that was the beginning of frustrating things that
[21:12] Speaker 7: she had no opportunity to defend. And it was like
[21:15] Speaker 7: my trying to argue with Janet and Brittany at the
[21:19] Speaker 7: racetrack in Santa Barbara didn't go anywhere, And it was like,
[21:22] Speaker 7: you know, me constantly trying to stick up for her
[21:25] Speaker 7: with no.
[21:29] Speaker 5: Who do you feel like you're closest with closest with
[21:33] Speaker 5: I love Zach. We went to you can't pick Zach
[21:36] Speaker 5: why because he's our favorite too, Like I'm part of
[21:43] Speaker 5: the crew, now leave.
[21:45] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[21:46] Speaker 6: I love Jasmine, I love Kristen, I love Nia.
[21:51] Speaker 3: I love I mean, I really Michelle, I.
[21:55] Speaker 6: Don't I mean do I love her as a mother?
[21:59] Speaker 5: Such a I'm not watching we don't we don't hang
[22:02] Speaker 5: out shocker or talk listen. If I had my way,
[22:06] Speaker 5: I feel like we would hang out and be like friendly.
[22:08] Speaker 4: There's no like for some with you guys. I mean
[22:10] Speaker 4: not for some like that way, but like no double
[22:12] Speaker 4: dating with doctor dry.
[22:14] Speaker 6: No, I wish that would be incredible.
[22:15] Speaker 3: Are they are?
[22:16] Speaker 1: They?
[22:16] Speaker 3: Are they?
[22:17] Speaker 6: You get some beats?
[22:19] Speaker 4: You've got some beats, Jesse.
[22:22] Speaker 7: No, that was that was like an iconic, I think
[22:27] Speaker 7: statement to you when you asked. Because I had dropped
[22:30] Speaker 7: Isabella off that Friday. The news broke on Monday and
[22:34] Speaker 7: I dropped her off and she goes running into Michelle's apartment.
[22:36] Speaker 7: She's like, look, mommy got me the same headphones that
[22:38] Speaker 7: you got me for Christmas. And there was like a
[22:41] Speaker 7: row of different colored and I was like, then when
[22:44] Speaker 7: the news broke, I was like, at least I'm going
[22:46] Speaker 7: to make a joke of it. And it was. It
[22:48] Speaker 7: was all fun and games all day.
[22:50] Speaker 3: Well, we put up the picture of him just for
[22:52] Speaker 3: you and.
[22:52] Speaker 6: Thank you guys.
[22:53] Speaker 3: By the way, there the one on the wall out there.
[22:56] Speaker 7: I'm gonna take it with me.
[22:58] Speaker 3: Have you met him? No, How did it make you
[23:01] Speaker 3: feel seeing this?
[23:03] Speaker 2: Because it made me kind of emotional, probably because I'm
[23:06] Speaker 2: in that stage where, like you know, I'm getting close
[23:09] Speaker 2: to divorce and all of those things.
[23:11] Speaker 3: This week, this week's up. Yeah, this week's episode. Did
[23:14] Speaker 3: you watch it?
[23:15] Speaker 5: I did watch it. I mean their divorce is complex
[23:19] Speaker 5: for me because again, like i'd never want to defend
[23:22] Speaker 5: a man, but I'm obviously like I'm hearing their interactions
[23:26] Speaker 5: from his side, like I'm hearing his speaker phone calls
[23:29] Speaker 5: in his moments, and it's not my divorce to talk about,
[23:33] Speaker 5: but I think it's painful because it's relatable, Like I'm divorced.
[23:37] Speaker 5: It's still painful even if even if things didn't go
[23:41] Speaker 5: right at one point, they were so perfect and you
[23:44] Speaker 5: loved that person enough to marry them or approcreate with
[23:46] Speaker 5: them and have this life you're planning on. So it's
[23:48] Speaker 5: like a shattered belief system of everything you believed at
[23:52] Speaker 5: one point. And then at least for myself, you do.
[23:54] Speaker 5: I mean I kind of gaslight myself when things go wrong.
[23:57] Speaker 5: It's like my own thing, but like you kind of
[23:59] Speaker 5: question your reality, like am I making the wrong decisions
[24:01] Speaker 5: in life or what you know? Like, yeah, I chose
[24:04] Speaker 5: this person, so how to be right? Or am I wrong,
[24:06] Speaker 5: am I decision making? So I feel like it's loaded
[24:09] Speaker 5: and I feel empathy for them and that, and like
[24:12] Speaker 5: I do feel empathy for Michelle, like I know she's
[24:14] Speaker 5: having a hard year. I had a hardier last year,
[24:16] Speaker 5: so I just wasn't on the show. So I get
[24:20] Speaker 5: going through, you know, these layers of loss and your
[24:24] Speaker 5: marriage ending, and I think that that's really painful.
[24:27] Speaker 4: So I was shocked to see that scene actually because
[24:30] Speaker 4: you like, she was crying and you're like, are you crying? Yeah,
[24:34] Speaker 4: And you could see like that you guys cared about each.
[24:38] Speaker 2: Other, right, we're oftentimes you guys don't show that at all.
[24:41] Speaker 3: No, we don't feel.
[24:43] Speaker 2: It at all.
[24:43] Speaker 4: Like I can't even understand why you guys are ever married.
[24:46] Speaker 4: By moos of stuff we've seen, We're like, holy shit.
[24:48] Speaker 7: Well, I think keep in mind too that we knew
[24:51] Speaker 7: what we shot in season one, and you know, I
[24:54] Speaker 7: Michelle ended it with me. I was obviously still trying,
[24:58] Speaker 7: but one of the things, and I think on it,
[25:00] Speaker 7: we were.
[25:00] Speaker 3: Trying with your baggy underwear and your BRAINI hats.
[25:03] Speaker 7: Well, that's that was after the fact. When I lost
[25:05] Speaker 7: a bunch of weight, looked good, thought i'd wear it.
[25:09] Speaker 7: Thought I'd wear some sag of grays Hey, but they
[25:11] Speaker 7: ended up at Bravo con framed, so they were yeah,
[25:14] Speaker 7: my god. So yeah, you have to realize that we clubhouse.
[25:17] Speaker 3: Now.
[25:18] Speaker 7: I don't know, I have to check when I go back.
[25:19] Speaker 7: But you have to keep in mind that Michelle and
[25:23] Speaker 7: I sat down and we were like, we separated in
[25:25] Speaker 7: mid October, and we're like, we know the show of
[25:28] Speaker 7: season one was about us working on our marriage, like
[25:30] Speaker 7: we can't tell anyone. So she lived in the house
[25:33] Speaker 7: for almost four months, and it was just brutal, like
[25:37] Speaker 7: we you know, trying to have coffee in the morning
[25:39] Speaker 7: and be normal and then trying to talk about business
[25:42] Speaker 7: and like we have Isabella running around. She's only like
[25:44] Speaker 7: one and a half two at the time, So it
[25:46] Speaker 7: was just a very complex.
[25:48] Speaker 4: Uncomfortable situation to push through the window.
[25:51] Speaker 7: That was that was very early on, and it's stuff
[25:54] Speaker 7: like that happened because we were in this, like you know,
[25:56] Speaker 7: we were in this four months of just like keeping
[25:59] Speaker 7: it a secret from everybody. I wasn't telling anybody. I
[26:02] Speaker 7: lost a ton of weight. She was going out till
[26:05] Speaker 7: like three in the morning.
[26:06] Speaker 2: I was checking the camera the Bumblebee guy, not from
[26:09] Speaker 2: bumble No, that's I've got ye.
[26:15] Speaker 7: Because like, yeah, I mean it was think think about this, right.
[26:19] Speaker 7: She tells me two or three weeks in the office
[26:21] Speaker 7: after we separated that she was in a relationship and
[26:23] Speaker 7: I used to watch her go out and like she
[26:25] Speaker 7: would come home and I'd be checking the cameras and
[26:28] Speaker 7: like I knew where he lived, and you know, like
[26:31] Speaker 7: it was just so hard was she had to tell
[26:35] Speaker 7: me because if she was spending the night out and
[26:37] Speaker 7: I had Isabella, It's like, oh, I'm gonna be staying
[26:39] Speaker 7: at this house and like so it was four months
[26:42] Speaker 7: of just like you know, I mean, like not to
[26:45] Speaker 7: be the victim, but I wasn't. I lost forty two pounds,
[26:48] Speaker 7: wasn't eating. I was like, you know, stress, drinking, and
[26:52] Speaker 7: it was just and then all of a sudden, she
[26:54] Speaker 7: moves out, and it was like this tit for tat
[26:57] Speaker 7: who's gonna win? Like even basic things we couldn't agree on.
[27:01] Speaker 7: It created so much.
[27:02] Speaker 5: Remp Oh my god, you're the mediator. No, I mean,
[27:05] Speaker 5: I do think I'm a good mediator. I grew up
[27:07] Speaker 5: with parents that thought I'm an only child, and like
[27:10] Speaker 5: there was so much in my own so much so
[27:13] Speaker 5: I just remember like standing in the middle, like that's
[27:16] Speaker 5: like my first memories of my life. So I feel
[27:18] Speaker 5: like if the universe gives you like a.
[27:20] Speaker 6: Path, you'd like roll with it.
[27:22] Speaker 5: But hearing them, I was even I remember when we met,
[27:25] Speaker 5: I was like, I've never heard people fight like this,
[27:27] Speaker 5: Like you guys are fighting and both of them like
[27:30] Speaker 5: that's why I do hold those feet to the firearm.
[27:32] Speaker 6: Like you also can't act like that, you know what
[27:34] Speaker 6: I mean? Like they're both kind of doing things.
[27:35] Speaker 4: Well, I'm a true believe, but you can take two
[27:37] Speaker 4: good people and put them together. If they absolutely got along,
[27:40] Speaker 4: they could be horrible people. And when they get along,
[27:42] Speaker 4: it's like, well, it was nice to see you guys
[27:46] Speaker 4: get And you'll.
[27:47] Speaker 7: See as the season plays out, there are a lot
[27:49] Speaker 7: of moments where I'm like, we're there, and like they
[27:53] Speaker 7: have moments where I'm like, yeah, we're getting there, and
[27:56] Speaker 7: then wait wait for the nuclear bomb drop at the
[28:00] Speaker 7: at the finale. Afterwards, it all had to come to
[28:05] Speaker 7: an end.
[28:06] Speaker 3: Where are you guys now?
[28:07] Speaker 6: You guys in a good place now? Michelle and I
[28:10] Speaker 6: what am I supposed to have to watch?
[28:13] Speaker 7: You have to watch?
[28:14] Speaker 6: I was given a line.
[28:15] Speaker 7: I mean, our really, our relationship is basically Isabella at
[28:18] Speaker 7: this point, and like, you know, even just text her
[28:21] Speaker 7: when I walked in here because there's something at her
[28:23] Speaker 7: school today that I'm not going to be able to make.
[28:24] Speaker 7: So she's like, I'll send you photos and videos, and
[28:26] Speaker 7: like I missed out. We do a seven pm call
[28:29] Speaker 7: FaceTime with her, who like if she's with me, Michelle
[28:32] Speaker 7: will call every night, and I missed it because I
[28:35] Speaker 7: was working last night. So I like sent her a
[28:37] Speaker 7: voice memo at eight pm and text Michelle like, hey,
[28:40] Speaker 7: did she get the voice memo? And she's like yeah,
[28:41] Speaker 7: on the way to school today. So it's like that that's.
[28:43] Speaker 4: Are you guys divorced?
[28:46] Speaker 7: Yeah, you'll see you'll just.
[28:49] Speaker 6: Stay oh yeah.
[28:53] Speaker 7: And you know it's funny that scene. A lot of
[28:55] Speaker 7: people really enjoyed it, and I enjoyed it myself, And
[28:58] Speaker 7: you know there was at that wasn't shown for obvious reasons.
[29:02] Speaker 7: Like she put the paperwork in front of me and
[29:04] Speaker 7: I looked through it and I'm like, this is the
[29:05] Speaker 7: same paperwork from six months ago. Let's call your attorney
[29:08] Speaker 7: right now. We called him at that table. He's like,
[29:11] Speaker 7: I'll write it up, you know, have it over to
[29:13] Speaker 7: you for your review tomorrow. And from that point on,
[29:16] Speaker 7: it was just very quick.
[29:17] Speaker 4: Was there was there reason to hold it because of
[29:20] Speaker 4: that debt.
[29:22] Speaker 7: That wasn't the only reason there was. There was something
[29:24] Speaker 7: that happened when I started doing a little research for
[29:27] Speaker 7: taxes and I found all kinds of like money going
[29:31] Speaker 7: to different accounts and stuff. And I had requested a
[29:34] Speaker 7: lot of paperwork from her attorney in May aughtit and yeah,
[29:38] Speaker 7: I was doing Yeah, anyway, I had requested all this
[29:41] Speaker 7: paperwork and it was right before the reunion, and they finally,
[29:45] Speaker 7: after like twenty eight days, got the paperwork to me.
[29:48] Speaker 7: Then requested discovery going back to the day we were married.
[29:52] Speaker 7: And I threw my hands up in the air. And
[29:54] Speaker 7: that's why I said at the reunion last year, I'm like,
[29:55] Speaker 7: I threw my hands up in the air and said,
[29:57] Speaker 7: you know, the ninety hours it would take me to
[29:59] Speaker 7: put together all the text messages and emails, it's like
[30:01] Speaker 7: I'll cold call ten houses and be able to make
[30:04] Speaker 7: the money that's missing back. And I threw my hands
[30:06] Speaker 7: up in the air and said, like, let's just agree
[30:08] Speaker 7: on this one thing. And it's sad to see like
[30:11] Speaker 7: you know, there's so many lies that I can't wait
[30:14] Speaker 7: to address at the reunion, but you'll you'll have to
[30:16] Speaker 7: wait and see.
[30:17] Speaker 4: I'll take it from this blocker were.
[30:22] Speaker 6: The corner.
[30:23] Speaker 4: Don't miss part two with Lacy and Jesse on the
