[0:01] Speaker 1: Hi, everybody. Welcome to another episode of By Order of
[0:05] Speaker 1: the Faithfuls. And we have an amazing co-host today. It's
[0:09] Speaker 1: Stephanie Sosa by Dancing with the Stars, the next pro.
[0:16] Speaker 1: She was amazing. We loved her. Stephanie is a professional dancer, choreographer,
[0:21] Speaker 1: and actress from Utah. She began performing at age five
[0:25] Speaker 1: and grew up alongside her brothers who share her same
[0:27] Speaker 1: passion for dance. Stephanie and her younger brother, Ezra... made
[0:32] Speaker 1: history together on So You Think You Can Dance season 16,
[0:36] Speaker 1: becoming the first brother and sister duo to reach the
[0:39] Speaker 1: top 10. In 2024, Stephanie joined Dancing with the Stars
[0:44] Speaker 1: season 33 as a troop member for one season in February, 2026.
[0:50] Speaker 1: She danced alongside Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl halftime show.
[0:54] Speaker 1: And later that year, she appeared as a contestant on
[0:58] Speaker 1: the spinoff series Dancing with the Stars Next Pro. Beyond dance,
[1:02] Speaker 1: Stephanie is also an accomplished singer and a vocal advocate
[1:06] Speaker 1: for fitness and mental wellness. She's amazing. So we'll bring
[1:11] Speaker 1: her in now and she is going to be the
[1:13] Speaker 1: best co-host ever. I am so excited. Hi, Stephanie.
[1:18] Speaker 2: Hi.
[1:19] Speaker 1: You're so pretty. I'm so excited. Don't tell me that.
[1:22] Speaker 3: You're pretty.
[1:24] Speaker 1: I love the glasses.
[1:25] Speaker 3: They're so cute.
[1:26] Speaker 1: Thank you. It's because I can't see, Stephanie. I love it.
[1:31] Speaker 3: I'm blind, too, but I wear contacts.
[1:34] Speaker 1: I can't put them in and out. I can't do
[1:37] Speaker 1: a lot of things that you can do. Dancing is
[1:40] Speaker 1: one of them. Thank you. I enjoyed you so much.
[1:44] Speaker 1: You were amazing. the hard work, the dedication you've put
[1:48] Speaker 1: in this your whole life. You've been dancing your whole
[1:50] Speaker 1: life with your family. I was rooting for you and
[1:53] Speaker 1: you are a winner. Thank you.
[1:55] Speaker 3: That means a lot.
[1:56] Speaker 1: Thank you so much. So thank you for coming on
[1:58] Speaker 1: with me. I love that you're the co-host. I know.
[2:01] Speaker 3: I was so excited when they sent me your Instagram.
[2:03] Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so down.
[2:04] Speaker 1: Yes. Okay. And you watched the finale.
[2:07] Speaker 4: Yes.
[2:08] Speaker 1: Oh, I can't wait to hear what you think. So
[2:11] Speaker 1: the finale is taking place in front of a live
[2:14] Speaker 1: studio audience. So I watched the whole season. I didn't
[2:18] Speaker 1: realize this was the first time it was a live
[2:20] Speaker 1: studio audience. I felt like it was live the whole time.
[2:22] Speaker 1: It wasn't.
[2:23] Speaker 3: No.
[2:23] Speaker 4: Yeah. We didn't have any audience. We just have the judges.
[2:26] Speaker 4: So it's crazy. Like they actually got experience, like what
[2:30] Speaker 4: it's like on the show when you, you know, go live.
[2:32] Speaker 1: So, right. I don't, I don't feel like, I mean,
[2:36] Speaker 1: do you feel it would be much different in front
[2:39] Speaker 1: of an audience? I feel like you guys never get
[2:41] Speaker 1: nervous or frazzled or, You're to me, my whole Instagram
[2:46] Speaker 1: is dogs, kids and dancing, dancing and professional dancing. I
[2:53] Speaker 1: just stare at it like I want to do it,
[2:54] Speaker 1: but I never do it. So what does it feel
[2:56] Speaker 1: like to be on that stage? It must have been
[2:59] Speaker 1: amazing and surreal.
[3:01] Speaker 3: It was crazy.
[3:02] Speaker 4: It was definitely, for me, very nerve-wracking because it felt
[3:05] Speaker 4: like life or death.
[3:07] Speaker 1: It kind of was, right? Yeah, no, it literally was.
[3:10] Speaker 4: But it was, yeah, it was amazing, especially to perform
[3:13] Speaker 4: for the judges. But I do wish that, you know,
[3:16] Speaker 4: we had a live audience the whole time because I
[3:18] Speaker 4: feel like it would have made a difference.
[3:19] Speaker 3: Like, just feeding off.
[3:20] Speaker 4: Of people clapping and just, like, it would have felt
[3:23] Speaker 4: like Dancing with the Stars, like, fully.
[3:26] Speaker 1: So you feel, okay, so you feel that it would
[3:29] Speaker 1: have been... better for you if there was a live
[3:32] Speaker 1: audience yeah I wouldn't have made you more nervous no
[3:35] Speaker 1: no I would have been excited yeah got it because
[3:38] Speaker 1: some people it makes them more nervous.
[3:41] Speaker 4: Yeah yeah I I love performing live so I was
[3:43] Speaker 4: like I would have it would have been nice.
[3:46] Speaker 1: Oh okay well you've done it a lot of times
[3:49] Speaker 1: I'm sure So dancers take the stage and warm up
[3:53] Speaker 1: the crowd before introducing Mark and Shirley Ballas, who dance
[3:57] Speaker 1: across the stage together. I have never seen them dance together.
[4:00] Speaker 1: Have you?
[4:01] Speaker 3: No, my first time ever.
[4:02] Speaker 1: It was pretty amazing.
[4:04] Speaker 3: It was so cute, too. And of course, she looks great.
[4:08] Speaker 3: She's so good.
[4:09] Speaker 1: Recently on Instagram, because I doom scroll all day, I
[4:13] Speaker 1: have to stop and break this habit up. So the
[4:16] Speaker 1: thing is, I saw her dancing in 1991. Did you
[4:21] Speaker 1: happen to come across that?
[4:23] Speaker 3: Oh, on like her old videos of her competing.
[4:26] Speaker 1: Like an old video. Have you seen it?
[4:28] Speaker 3: I've seen those videos. Yeah.
[4:30] Speaker 1: I have never seen that. She was unbelievable.
[4:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[4:35] Speaker 3: She's the queen of Latin.
[4:36] Speaker 4: Like even if you aren't like dancing with stars fan,
[4:39] Speaker 4: like growing up, like ballroom competitors, like you wanted to
[4:42] Speaker 4: impress really like she was like, she's the queen.
[4:46] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[4:46] Speaker 1: Is she nice?
[4:47] Speaker 3: I have to ask.
[4:48] Speaker 1: Like, is she? Yeah.
[4:50] Speaker 4: I've known her for a long time, too. Like, when
[4:52] Speaker 4: I was a baby, because she, like, knew my family.
[4:55] Speaker 1: She's always been around, right?
[4:56] Speaker 4: She's been in the ballroom world, especially in Utah. So, yeah,
[5:00] Speaker 4: I love her. She's very, like, professional and knows who
[5:04] Speaker 4: she is. But that can be scary. But I think
[5:07] Speaker 4: she's so sweet. Like, she's such a great human.
[5:10] Speaker 1: Well, you grew up in a dancing home also. Were
[5:12] Speaker 1: your parents dancers?
[5:14] Speaker 3: No, they were soccer players.
[5:16] Speaker 1: Oh, okay. All right. I always wondered what it was
[5:19] Speaker 1: like to become what your parent was like Mark becoming
[5:23] Speaker 1: what his mom was like, what was breakfast like? Okay.
[5:27] Speaker 1: You know, you're going to dance.
[5:28] Speaker 4: Well, my dad really wanted us to be soccer players,
[5:31] Speaker 4: but we ended up being dancers.
[5:32] Speaker 1: Three of you have three siblings and you were all
[5:35] Speaker 1: in the dance.
[5:36] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:37] Speaker 1: Oh, that's pretty amazing. I want to come over for
[5:39] Speaker 1: dinner one day.
[5:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, come over. We only talk about dance. So maybe
[5:42] Speaker 3: you coming over would be a nice break.
[5:43] Speaker 1: Well, I want to get into it. So Derek Huff
[5:47] Speaker 1: is introduced as this week's guest judge. He gives Shirley
[5:51] Speaker 1: a spin before joining the judges. Now, when you look
[5:55] Speaker 1: at them, do you see the difference in like that
[6:00] Speaker 1: they're like way above everyone else? Or do you say like,
[6:05] Speaker 1: they're just the same as every other professional dancer. I
[6:07] Speaker 1: can't tell the difference because I'm not a professional.
[6:10] Speaker 4: Well, growing up, I idolized like Derek, like all the pros, Julianne.
[6:15] Speaker 4: And so I definitely like put like, I'm like, they're phenomenal.
[6:18] Speaker 4: Because for me, they were like, what I wanted to be.
[6:21] Speaker 4: So but now being able to like work with them,
[6:23] Speaker 4: or even just like being the same room with them.
[6:24] Speaker 3: It's an honor.
[6:25] Speaker 1: Like they're, I'm sure like they you looked up to them.
[6:28] Speaker 1: And now like, Yeah. What was it like?
[6:30] Speaker 4: We're like, we want to be the next Derek and Julianne,
[6:33] Speaker 4: but the Latin version, we would always just joke about that.
[6:36] Speaker 4: So it's just like, you know, it's so cool to
[6:38] Speaker 4: just be in the same room as them and be like, wow,
[6:40] Speaker 4: we really did idolize you guys so much.
[6:43] Speaker 1: They all seem so lovely and they really wanted, I
[6:48] Speaker 1: felt like they wanted everyone to win.
[6:50] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[6:51] Speaker 3: I feel like they, they want everybody to become the
[6:54] Speaker 3: best dancer.
[6:55] Speaker 1: They can best as they can. Yeah. Yeah. So Robert
[6:58] Speaker 1: does his entrance next. He's so cute. He makes me
[7:01] Speaker 1: laugh all the time. flanked by dancers as they move
[7:05] Speaker 1: across the stage Whitney Carson is lifted on to the
[7:09] Speaker 1: stage and it's announced that she'll be Robert's co-host tonight
[7:13] Speaker 1: they dance together they're like very close.
[7:15] Speaker 4: Yeah yeah because they won last season so right they're
[7:19] Speaker 4: they're honestly to me it's like so cute like sibling
[7:21] Speaker 4: like they're siblings.
[7:22] Speaker 1: I see that they're they're still really close I think
[7:25] Speaker 1: that you form a relationship when you go through something
[7:28] Speaker 1: like this together that lasts like You know, it's got
[7:33] Speaker 1: to be different to be able to win something and
[7:37] Speaker 1: for her to be with it. I just love seeing
[7:39] Speaker 1: them together again because I did watch last season.
[7:41] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[7:42] Speaker 1: And I'll be watching Sierra this season. I'm going to
[7:44] Speaker 1: see her. You are?
[7:45] Speaker 3: Well, you're amazing. I'll be there watching.
[7:48] Speaker 1: Oh, you will? Okay, we'll have to make sure it's
[7:50] Speaker 1: on the right time. Are you going to be there
[7:51] Speaker 1: the whole time?
[7:52] Speaker 4: I'm going to try to because, you know, Ezra's on
[7:54] Speaker 4: the show. So I was like, I need to be
[7:55] Speaker 4: a good sister and support him in every episode. So
[7:58] Speaker 4: I'm going to try to go to every episode.
[8:00] Speaker 1: Oh, I love that. So finally, the three remaining contestants
[8:03] Speaker 1: take the stage. Selena, Adele, and AJ are all introduced
[8:07] Speaker 1: and they join the big group number. Robert tells the
[8:10] Speaker 1: dancers that they will be performing two dances tonight. For
[8:13] Speaker 1: the first round, they will be able to choose any
[8:16] Speaker 1: ballroom Latin style to perform tonight. And for the second round,
[8:20] Speaker 1: they'll perform a freestyle just like they'll do on Dancing
[8:23] Speaker 1: with the Stars.
[8:24] Speaker 2: Yep.
[8:25] Speaker 1: So do you think they made the right choices all
[8:28] Speaker 1: for each one of them?
[8:31] Speaker 3: I think so.
[8:32] Speaker 4: I feel like as a dancer, your strategy is to
[8:36] Speaker 4: showcase what you're best at.
[8:37] Speaker 1: Your best.
[8:39] Speaker 4: So I think Selena did great by choosing contemporary because
[8:42] Speaker 4: that's her bag. And then the other two, they're more
[8:45] Speaker 4: ballroom trained. So I like that they were able to
[8:47] Speaker 4: create numbers that had mixed styles. But I definitely feel
[8:50] Speaker 4: like they chose correctly because I don't see them doing
[8:53] Speaker 4: any other freestyle.
[8:53] Speaker 3: They nailed it. They all nailed it.
[8:55] Speaker 4: It's so....
[8:59] Speaker 1: Hard to judge and it's down to the wires so
[9:02] Speaker 1: robert tells the contestants that they'll be paired with celebrities
[9:06] Speaker 1: who were able to reach or win dancing with the
[9:08] Speaker 1: stars finale selena's paired with the olympic figure skater and
[9:12] Speaker 1: champion of the 2018 athlete season adam ripon he's so nice.
[9:18] Speaker 4: Yeah he's so cutie too like he just seems like
[9:20] Speaker 4: a ball like it's so cute.
[9:22] Speaker 1: And I think this is honestly the most stressful because
[9:25] Speaker 1: if you get paired with someone that you really don't
[9:27] Speaker 1: have that chemistry with, it could be really, I felt
[9:32] Speaker 1: like by now the judges were pretty sure who they
[9:35] Speaker 1: thought was going to win.
[9:37] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[9:38] Speaker 1: But anything can happen. Anything can change. And it was,
[9:43] Speaker 1: it's really hard that you have a partner you didn't
[9:45] Speaker 1: pick that's going to kind of make.
[9:48] Speaker 3: Determine your fate.
[9:49] Speaker 1: Determine your fate. So Adele's paired with 2020 finalist and
[9:53] Speaker 1: co-host of Catfish. AJ's paired with the 2022 Dancing with
[9:57] Speaker 1: the Stars champion and social media influencer. Charlie D'Amelio who
[10:01] Speaker 1: we all know is an amazing dancer TikTok queen she's
[10:06] Speaker 1: a TikTok queen she's been dancing her whole life I
[10:09] Speaker 1: know she was she danced when she was younger.
[10:12] Speaker 4: Yeah competitive like jazz contemporary dancer so yeah she's phenomenal
[10:18] Speaker 4: And she nailed it on Dancing with the Stars with Mark.
[10:20] Speaker 3: Like that pairing was perfect.
[10:21] Speaker 1: The thing with this is, which made me nervous for Adele,
[10:24] Speaker 1: even though they've been calling her the Rolls Royce, they've
[10:27] Speaker 1: been kind of setting her up to win. I felt
[10:31] Speaker 1: like when he got there and he was at, like
[10:35] Speaker 1: he had jet lag and he was tight. I was like,
[10:39] Speaker 1: oh no, she got like a kind of a dud.
[10:42] Speaker 1: I felt like he was the least trained dancer of
[10:44] Speaker 1: the three. And I wondered if they gave her that
[10:49] Speaker 1: to make it harder for, or that she could handle
[10:52] Speaker 1: it better. I don't know why or who they picked
[10:56] Speaker 1: to go with who, but it worked out for her
[10:59] Speaker 1: in the end. He really came through. No.
[11:01] Speaker 4: Yeah. And Adele is such a great teacher. She knows
[11:03] Speaker 4: her materials. So if anyone were to be able to
[11:06] Speaker 4: figure it out and like have like some sort of obstacle,
[11:09] Speaker 4: it'd be Adele for sure.
[11:10] Speaker 1: So, well, the fact that they only had three days
[11:13] Speaker 1: to make this work.
[11:14] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[11:15] Speaker 1: And two dances. And two dances. So he definitely nailed
[11:21] Speaker 1: the second one.
[11:22] Speaker 2: Yes.
[11:23] Speaker 1: But he came through. I wasn't sure. So Selena chose
[11:27] Speaker 1: to perform the jive for the first round. That's probably
[11:30] Speaker 1: my least favorite of all of them. Really?
[11:32] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:33] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[11:35] Speaker 3: I think it worked.
[11:35] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[11:36] Speaker 3: She, I think she did phenomenal. Like the jive was
[11:38] Speaker 3: so entertaining.
[11:39] Speaker 4: Like she has that performance that like, you can't keep
[11:41] Speaker 4: your eyes off of her.
[11:42] Speaker 1: I love her.
[11:43] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[11:44] Speaker 4: And I, yeah, it would have been super cool to
[11:46] Speaker 4: see her do maybe like another, another sort of Latin style,
[11:49] Speaker 4: but she nailed it.
[11:49] Speaker 3: She nailed that jive, but yeah.
[11:52] Speaker 1: That it wasn't that it wasn't the greatest dance. I
[11:55] Speaker 1: don't love the jive. So that's how I, that's how
[11:58] Speaker 1: I say, but she, she was a very nice teacher.
[12:01] Speaker 1: I felt like when I saw Adele teaching her, until
[12:05] Speaker 1: now she was nice to Neve, but in the past,
[12:09] Speaker 1: I thought that she was a little hard on when,
[12:13] Speaker 1: on the, you know, her partner, when she was teaching,
[12:16] Speaker 1: when they had the people that had no idea, did
[12:19] Speaker 1: you watch that episode?
[12:21] Speaker 4: I think it's, it's more of like a, I think
[12:24] Speaker 4: switching from that ballroom world into like the commercial TV
[12:27] Speaker 4: world is so different. And so I feel like she
[12:29] Speaker 4: did a really good way of like navigating that. I mean,
[12:31] Speaker 4: at first it's, you know, we're not used to seeing
[12:34] Speaker 4: those type of strict teachers anymore, dancing with stars. So,
[12:36] Speaker 4: but I think that she's, you know, finding it, you know,
[12:39] Speaker 4: cause you're also dealing with someone that's done this for
[12:42] Speaker 4: the first time and they want to have fun in
[12:43] Speaker 4: a good experience. So it's like finding that balance, but I'm,
[12:47] Speaker 4: I'm positive, like she'll find it. And, but at the
[12:49] Speaker 4: end of the day, her results, they look phenomenal. So
[12:52] Speaker 4: just find the process to, you know, becoming a pro
[12:55] Speaker 4: is hard too, because you learn so.
[12:57] Speaker 3: Much while even on the job.
[12:58] Speaker 4: So I'm excited to also see her just you know,
[13:01] Speaker 4: keep growing and seeing like how amazing of a pro
[13:03] Speaker 4: she can become.
[13:03] Speaker 3: So.
[13:05] Speaker 1: I think she's amazing. I don't know. I think she
[13:08] Speaker 1: has a really big future. She's only 20 years old. Yeah. Right.
[13:13] Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, she's, she is young, but I didn't.
[13:15] Speaker 1: Wow.
[13:16] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[13:17] Speaker 1: She's a star. She is. She's a star. And to
[13:20] Speaker 1: think of the struggles that she had when she was younger,
[13:23] Speaker 1: all their stories, all of your stories are, are unbelievable,
[13:28] Speaker 1: but during practice, Adam is very receptive to Selena's feedback,
[13:33] Speaker 1: but she makes sure to include affirmations as well. See,
[13:36] Speaker 1: that's what I, if somebody was teaching me, they'd have to,
[13:40] Speaker 1: otherwise I go downhill real quick, Stephanie. Yeah.
[13:43] Speaker 4: Yeah. And also everyone's learning styles are different. So when
[13:47] Speaker 4: you're given like a celebrity, you kind of have to
[13:49] Speaker 4: navigate their personality, see what they like, see if they
[13:53] Speaker 4: love tough critiques, see if they like.
[13:55] Speaker 3: Honestly, really like we're encouraging like courage.
[13:58] Speaker 1: You have to as a teacher, you do. You have
[14:00] Speaker 1: to figure out how that person you're teaching learns. Yeah.
[14:04] Speaker 4: Even when I was like doing, you know, the next
[14:06] Speaker 4: pro and I was working with Tristan, like teaching him
[14:08] Speaker 4: choreography and everything. I was trying to see what his
[14:10] Speaker 4: learning style was. So even as a pro, you're constantly
[14:13] Speaker 4: having to like navigate and switch things up so that
[14:15] Speaker 4: your celebrity becomes the best they can be because every
[14:17] Speaker 4: person is different.
[14:18] Speaker 3: So.
[14:19] Speaker 2: Right.
[14:20] Speaker 1: So Adele is 24, still very young.
[14:24] Speaker 3: She's very young.
[14:25] Speaker 1: So they perform their jive Candyman by Christina Aguilera. I
[14:29] Speaker 1: love Christina Aguilera. Mark calls Selena an electric dancer and performer,
[14:34] Speaker 1: but he reminds her that the jive is meant to incline.
[14:37] Speaker 1: Now explain to someone like me what that means.
[14:42] Speaker 4: So the jive inclining, meaning the energy is supposed to
[14:45] Speaker 4: like pick up. So the whole time it needs to
[14:47] Speaker 4: be elevating instead of it being like one energy, like
[14:50] Speaker 4: it needs to build. And it could be like a
[14:53] Speaker 4: slip action and jive, which is very much like it
[14:56] Speaker 4: looks like you're bouncing the whole time with a ball
[14:58] Speaker 4: of energy, but it's actually like a technique that you learn.
[15:02] Speaker 4: And so I think that was just missing like that,
[15:04] Speaker 4: like incline. But it was very entertaining regardless.
[15:08] Speaker 3: And she's phenomenal.
[15:09] Speaker 1: So she is. So Shirley applauds Selena for taking every
[15:13] Speaker 1: piece of constructive criticism they've given her and gives her
[15:17] Speaker 1: the nickname Miss Wow. I liked when she gave her
[15:21] Speaker 1: that they're like, well, there wasn't that wow moment and
[15:24] Speaker 1: I needed another wow moment or we had one, but
[15:27] Speaker 1: we could have had to, right?
[15:28] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[15:29] Speaker 1: That's a lot of what the judges, I feel this
[15:32] Speaker 1: season we're looking for. Yeah.
[15:35] Speaker 4: She definitely someone that can just like, she wows you
[15:37] Speaker 4: the whole time. Like I can't, I can't get my
[15:39] Speaker 4: eyes off her when I dance. So, I mean, when
[15:41] Speaker 4: she's dancing, so I'm like, yeah, she's Miss.
[15:43] Speaker 3: Wow for sure. And she can do all these like
[15:46] Speaker 3: cool tricks and, She's, she's a commercial dancer.
[15:48] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
[15:49] Speaker 4: So like when you're a commercial dancer, you know what
[15:52] Speaker 4: looks good on camera. You know how to wow an
[15:55] Speaker 4: audience because that's a lot of your job is because
[15:57] Speaker 4: you know you're dancing on TV or on stage live.
[15:59] Speaker 4: So she's very good at that because she grew up
[16:02] Speaker 4: training like, like in that way too.
[16:04] Speaker 3: So yeah, she's Miss Wow for sure.
[16:07] Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad that, yeah, they gave her, they gave
[16:10] Speaker 1: her great reviews and I feel like it was good.
[16:13] Speaker 1: She needed to hear that.
[16:14] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[16:15] Speaker 1: Competition is so hard right now. I'm sure they're all
[16:18] Speaker 1: looking at each other like, oh, that was better than me.
[16:22] Speaker 2: Right?
[16:22] Speaker 1: Is that how it feels when you're sitting on that
[16:25] Speaker 1: couch and you're watching it on the screen? You're like, oh, God.
[16:28] Speaker 1: Do you want to go first or last? I want
[16:33] Speaker 1: to go.
[16:34] Speaker 3: First because you set the standard perfectly. I don't know.
[16:37] Speaker 4: I love just going first, getting out of the way
[16:39] Speaker 4: and then being able to enjoy everybody else perform because
[16:41] Speaker 4: like the nerves having to sit there and like watch
[16:43] Speaker 4: everyone go. It's like you're so supportive at the same time.
[16:46] Speaker 4: You're like going through your moves in your head. It's
[16:48] Speaker 4: very stressful sometimes.
[16:50] Speaker 1: I can imagine. And yeah. So AJ and Charlie round one.
[16:55] Speaker 1: AJ chose the Viennese waltz for this round. When Charlie
[17:00] Speaker 1: performed this style on Dancing with the Stars, she received
[17:03] Speaker 1: a perfect score of 40. They performed the Ebeneez Waltz
[17:08] Speaker 1: to the Golden Hour by Jake. And Mark calls it
[17:11] Speaker 1: a solid performance. I thought it was amazing. What did
[17:15] Speaker 1: you think of it?
[17:16] Speaker 4: It was very beautiful. I mean, Charlie's also phenomenal, too.
[17:19] Speaker 4: So I think AJ lucked out on a very good.
[17:22] Speaker 3: Partner as well. It was a very good piece.
[17:25] Speaker 1: He's a strict teacher, too. Yeah.
[17:26] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[17:35] Speaker 1: So Shirley compliments AJ's technicality, but she wonders if he
[17:39] Speaker 1: got the most out of Charlie and her abilities. I
[17:42] Speaker 1: agreed with her.
[17:42] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[17:44] Speaker 1: Did you agree with that?
[17:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, just because it is Charlie D'Amelio and just being
[17:50] Speaker 4: able to see what she did with Mark on her
[17:52] Speaker 4: season of Dancing with Stars. She's capable of so much,
[17:54] Speaker 4: especially with her dance background. But it was a phenomenal piece.
[17:58] Speaker 4: But yeah, it would have been nice to see like
[17:59] Speaker 4: some more wow moments, I'd say, or just something that
[18:02] Speaker 4: really elevated who she was.
[18:05] Speaker 1: I have a question. So you've probably never stopped dancing,
[18:09] Speaker 1: but the, you know, I don't think the people coming
[18:12] Speaker 1: back dance every day. I don't know that that's something
[18:15] Speaker 1: they do all the time. And you have to wonder, like,
[18:17] Speaker 1: she's coming back after a year. Has she been dancing
[18:19] Speaker 1: every day? Has she been on TikTok every day? Like,
[18:22] Speaker 1: I don't know. I know the extent of the way
[18:26] Speaker 1: the professional dancers, the way you practice all day, nine
[18:29] Speaker 1: hours at a time, like you never stop. So I
[18:32] Speaker 1: feel like maybe they were a little rusty. I felt
[18:35] Speaker 1: like she was kind of a little stiff. I don't know.
[18:37] Speaker 1: It could be me because I can't even get up
[18:39] Speaker 1: right now.
[18:41] Speaker 4: No, I feel like she did a great job, especially
[18:44] Speaker 4: it's hard because it's a standard dance. So you kind
[18:47] Speaker 4: of have to be in frame the whole time and
[18:49] Speaker 4: you kind of have to like, you know, navigate that
[18:51] Speaker 4: and make it exciting. You know, standard, you have to
[18:53] Speaker 4: stay closed frame. But I think she did a great job.
[18:56] Speaker 4: And yeah, it's kind of hard to just put your
[18:57] Speaker 4: ballroom shoes back on after so many times, like so
[19:00] Speaker 4: much time. Right, that's what I'm, Even if you are
[19:03] Speaker 4: dancing like 10 hours a day, going back in a
[19:06] Speaker 4: ballroom is like a whole other world. And being in
[19:09] Speaker 4: the heels again for four hours, five hours a day
[19:13] Speaker 4: is a lot on the body. So yeah, having those
[19:15] Speaker 4: celebrities jump in that week in three days was crazy.
[19:20] Speaker 3: But they did amazing.
[19:21] Speaker 1: They did amazing. And I told you, Neve surprised me.
[19:25] Speaker 1: So Adele and Neve. chose the samba for this round.
[19:30] Speaker 1: That's her dance, isn't it?
[19:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[19:33] Speaker 1: She loves it. She loves it.
[19:35] Speaker 3: She looks great doing, she looks very sexy doing samba.
[19:38] Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely like Adele is samba.
[19:40] Speaker 1: Like that's her dance. When Neva arrives to practice, he
[19:43] Speaker 1: brings Adele a bouquet of flowers and never, he said
[19:47] Speaker 1: he never did the samba. I think the flowers were
[19:50] Speaker 1: to cushion the blow of telling her he's never did
[19:53] Speaker 1: the samba before. So this is a particularly difficult task
[19:56] Speaker 1: for Adele. Neve is jet lagged. So Adele stops practice
[20:00] Speaker 1: early so he can get some rest. I was like,
[20:03] Speaker 1: I honestly thought she was going to implode. She's like,
[20:08] Speaker 1: we're going to give him a rest.
[20:09] Speaker 4: I will say Samba is the hardest dance to learn
[20:13] Speaker 4: slash teach someone that's never done Samba. It's like the
[20:16] Speaker 4: heart for me, it's the hardest of the five Latin dances.
[20:19] Speaker 4: Cause that, that dance is very difficult to do. Cause
[20:21] Speaker 4: there's like a bounce action. There's a bounce action. That's
[20:24] Speaker 4: like really difficult to teach and it's very rhythmical. So
[20:28] Speaker 4: if you're, if you're not a dancer, if you're not
[20:30] Speaker 4: a rhythmical person and you, even if you don't have
[20:32] Speaker 4: any rhythm, it is so hard, but, uh, And so
[20:36] Speaker 4: I was very shocked that she chose Samba, but it
[20:39] Speaker 4: looked great. So I was like, yeah, I would be
[20:41] Speaker 4: nervous teaching someone Samba for the first time, like for
[20:44] Speaker 4: my finale dance.
[20:45] Speaker 1: I know. They didn't make it easy for her, I
[20:49] Speaker 1: feel like.
[20:49] Speaker 3: No, but she did it.
[20:54] Speaker 1: So they do it. They pull it off. They receive
[20:57] Speaker 1: a standing ovation from the judges. I always look to
[21:00] Speaker 1: see if they're going to get up after a dance.
[21:02] Speaker 3: Yeah, very telling.
[21:04] Speaker 1: Yes, it is very telling. Derek calls this Neve's redemption.
[21:08] Speaker 1: He says he would like to see more creativity in
[21:11] Speaker 1: the choreography, but the quality was there. Yeah. I mean,
[21:15] Speaker 1: Adele's quality. Would you agree with that?
[21:18] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[21:18] Speaker 3: Adele's quality is just out of this world. Yeah.
[21:22] Speaker 4: And then just, I think, again, just having to navigate,
[21:25] Speaker 4: you know, how you choreograph outside of TV film and
[21:28] Speaker 4: like there's no camera is very different than choreographing for camera.
[21:32] Speaker 4: But I feel like she'll be able to learn that
[21:33] Speaker 4: along the way. And it's just a skill you have
[21:36] Speaker 4: to develop. So doing, doing next pro for her was
[21:40] Speaker 4: perfect because now she's learning that. And now that she's
[21:43] Speaker 4: a pro that she's going to continue to learn that
[21:45] Speaker 4: and like grow.
[21:46] Speaker 3: So I'm excited.
[21:47] Speaker 1: Well, we'll see.
[21:48] Speaker 3: We'll see.
[21:48] Speaker 1: Cause right now they go, how long ago was this filmed?
[21:53] Speaker 3: Um, we filmed in February. So, or March, February time.
[21:57] Speaker 3: So it's been a couple months.
[21:58] Speaker 1: Yeah. It's been a couple months. And so it just ended, um,
[22:04] Speaker 1: And so they just when was the finale like in
[22:07] Speaker 1: real time?
[22:08] Speaker 3: I think it was March, like like August. And I
[22:11] Speaker 3: was like March, end of March, March 30th.
[22:15] Speaker 1: OK, so now she's getting ready and now she's going
[22:18] Speaker 1: to do this season. So there wasn't a lot of
[22:19] Speaker 1: time off. I don't think Adele's ever taken any time
[22:22] Speaker 1: off to tell you.
[22:22] Speaker 3: Oh, no, she's always dancing.
[22:25] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure. So so they call her the. The
[22:29] Speaker 1: Cobra Queen. She struck again tonight and he starts crumping
[22:34] Speaker 1: to explain what he wanted to see in their dance.
[22:36] Speaker 1: And Shirley says Adele's musicality is second to none. What
[22:39] Speaker 1: does musicality mean in this?
[22:41] Speaker 4: Musicality means being able to accentuate the rhythms and like
[22:46] Speaker 4: the beats in a song. So if you're able to
[22:48] Speaker 4: watch a routine and you really hear the music, then
[22:51] Speaker 4: they're using the musicality correctly. Because the whole point of
[22:54] Speaker 4: choreographing to music is to really show the beats of
[22:57] Speaker 4: the song. So like you'll hear them exactly hit, you know,
[23:00] Speaker 4: choreography that like matches it and it brings the song
[23:02] Speaker 4: to life.
[23:03] Speaker 3: So she has really good musicality. She's able to bring
[23:05] Speaker 3: that to life.
[23:07] Speaker 1: Robert sits down with the dancers and I really like
[23:09] Speaker 1: this because it showed Adele's the first time I saw
[23:13] Speaker 1: her vulnerability.
[23:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
[23:17] Speaker 1: Selena came on the show to inspire girls that look
[23:20] Speaker 1: like her and prove that this dream is possible. And
[23:24] Speaker 1: she did just that.
[23:26] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
[23:27] Speaker 1: I really agree. Adele gets emotional telling Robert that when
[23:30] Speaker 1: she was 13, she had scoliosis and she had to
[23:34] Speaker 1: wear a brace 20 hours out of the day. And
[23:38] Speaker 1: if she didn't, she wouldn't be able to dance again.
[23:40] Speaker 1: Having said that, the four hours that it was off,
[23:44] Speaker 1: she would dance the whole time.
[23:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, that made me cry listening to that because I
[23:48] Speaker 4: know what that's like to have dance be like your
[23:50] Speaker 4: everything or your way out of whatever situation you're in.
[23:54] Speaker 4: So I just I saw a different side to Adele.
[23:57] Speaker 4: And I'm just so happy that she's had the success
[23:59] Speaker 4: because she really she really worked hard for it.
[24:02] Speaker 1: She really did. And, you know, she doesn't get emotional
[24:05] Speaker 1: even when she won. Like, we'll get to that. But
[24:08] Speaker 1: I'd like to see her break. And I think by
[24:11] Speaker 1: now they're so tired physically. And I mean, I think
[24:15] Speaker 1: you guys were tired like six episodes ago.
[24:18] Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, we were.
[24:21] Speaker 1: It takes such a toll. And emotionally too. So AJ
[24:26] Speaker 1: says his family couldn't afford to fund dancing, but he
[24:29] Speaker 1: did mention that there was a wealthy woman that ended
[24:33] Speaker 1: up funding him so that he could do this. And
[24:37] Speaker 1: the last conversation he had with her was take every opportunity.
[24:43] Speaker 1: So I felt like, oh, there was just somebody that
[24:47] Speaker 1: in his life that gave him a chance that he
[24:49] Speaker 1: wouldn't have normally had. There's so much talent out there.
[24:55] Speaker 1: I've seen it so much, but they don't get that
[24:57] Speaker 1: one person that steps up to the plate and says,
[25:00] Speaker 1: let me help you. And it was really like, I
[25:06] Speaker 1: thought to myself, wow, look at where you are now,
[25:08] Speaker 1: just because one person helped you. And he appreciates her,
[25:12] Speaker 1: you could tell. Selena and AJ round two. Selena calls
[25:16] Speaker 1: their freestyle a gritty contemporary fusion. During practice, Adam applauded
[25:21] Speaker 1: Selena for how she handled the stress. He already sees
[25:25] Speaker 1: her as one of the pros. I love their chemistry.
[25:27] Speaker 3: Yeah, they were very fun to watch. Very cute together.
[25:30] Speaker 1: And this, I thought that this routine, this dance was amazing.
[25:36] Speaker 1: And I love, of course, this. Justin Timberlake yeah.
[25:39] Speaker 3: That when I heard that song come on I was
[25:41] Speaker 3: like oh.
[25:42] Speaker 2: That's a good freestyle song and here we get our
[25:45] Speaker 2: our standing ovation from the judges which I wanted them
[25:49] Speaker 2: I was waiting during the the dance I'm like please
[25:52] Speaker 2: give them a standing ovation they're so good yeah so Mark.
[25:56] Speaker 1: Quotes Hamilton when praising Selena saying let's get this girl
[26:00] Speaker 1: in front of a crowd yeah Shirley's in awe. She says,
[26:06] Speaker 1: if this was performed on Dancing with the Stars finale,
[26:09] Speaker 1: it would be considered one of the best. Derek said
[26:11] Speaker 1: she'd been an instant fan favorite if she were to
[26:14] Speaker 1: join Dancing with the Stars tomorrow. I believe that. She
[26:18] Speaker 1: has such a warm heart. And she's so humble. And
[26:24] Speaker 1: I just, I love the way she interacts with everybody. Yeah.
[26:28] Speaker 3: And she dances amazing, too.
[26:31] Speaker 1: She is so amazing. So I really hope to see
[26:34] Speaker 1: her in the future. You know, timing is everything. And
[26:36] Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll see her. I feel like just making
[26:39] Speaker 1: it as far as all of you guys have, you won.
[26:42] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[26:43] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[26:44] Speaker 4: Timing is everything on the show, too. So I feel
[26:46] Speaker 4: like when it's a line for her, it's going to
[26:48] Speaker 4: be she's going to be in such a great profile.
[26:58] Speaker 1: AJ and Charlie round two, their freestyle is a combination
[27:01] Speaker 1: of every single thing that AJ has learned throughout his process.
[27:05] Speaker 1: He made it as hard as possible, even for a professional.
[27:09] Speaker 1: He's lucky he had Charlie to do that because she
[27:13] Speaker 1: was able to handle it. They're dancing to bad man
[27:17] Speaker 1: by pitbull. They received a standing, another standing ovation from
[27:20] Speaker 1: the judges.
[27:22] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[27:23] Speaker 1: So I was, I was totally in awe of this
[27:26] Speaker 1: dance too. Yeah.
[27:27] Speaker 4: I was very, I liked the, they had extra dancers
[27:30] Speaker 4: in there too. Really did make it feel like a
[27:32] Speaker 4: free dancing with stars freestyle.
[27:34] Speaker 3: And he did.
[27:35] Speaker 1: Yeah. Now weren't you also a dancer on dancing with
[27:39] Speaker 1: the stars? Yes.
[27:41] Speaker 3: I was on their troop two seasons ago. So yeah.
[27:45] Speaker 1: What was that like?
[27:46] Speaker 3: Oh my God. It was amazing. It was like living
[27:49] Speaker 3: my dream. Like I, it was crazy. Cause that was
[27:52] Speaker 3: Ezra's first year as a pro.
[27:53] Speaker 4: And then I was on troop and it was so
[27:55] Speaker 4: fun to be able to like do the, the bumpers
[27:58] Speaker 4: and do like, you know, duets. And I did a
[28:01] Speaker 4: lot of like little demonstrations with Ezra, with Derek. And
[28:04] Speaker 4: it was just, it was so, it was so, it
[28:06] Speaker 4: was like my dream. I was living my dream. It
[28:08] Speaker 4: was so fun.
[28:09] Speaker 1: Good for you. That must've been amazing.
[28:11] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[28:11] Speaker 1: Shirley's always wanted AJ to jam pack a routine and
[28:15] Speaker 1: he did just that. So he, he got the memo.
[28:18] Speaker 1: I know they've been telling him this the whole time and,
[28:22] Speaker 1: and he did get the most out of Charlie. Like
[28:24] Speaker 1: they've told him to, she's a great dancer. Get the
[28:26] Speaker 1: most you can. Derek says their side-by-side look like something
[28:30] Speaker 1: out of a Broadway play. Did you believe that?
[28:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, it was so cute. Like very cute.
[28:34] Speaker 2: Yes.
[28:35] Speaker 1: And Mark's impressed by what they were able to accomplish
[28:38] Speaker 1: in such a short amount of time. I mean, he
[28:42] Speaker 1: was a very close second here.
[28:44] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[28:46] Speaker 1: I have to say. Adele and Neve round two. Adele
[28:49] Speaker 1: tells Neve that she was a hardcore introvert before this.
[28:54] Speaker 1: So the show has really changed her for the better.
[28:57] Speaker 1: I have to say, Stephanie, she grew on me.
[29:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, she grew on me too.
[29:04] Speaker 4: Like living in the house, like first week altogether, she
[29:07] Speaker 4: was very closed off. So I didn't really know her
[29:09] Speaker 4: energy and her vibe. But I feel like every single
[29:12] Speaker 4: week she started to open up to us and she
[29:14] Speaker 4: felt comfortable. I think people forget that she came from
[29:17] Speaker 4: the ballroom world and that is very cutthroat and competitive.
[29:21] Speaker 3: And you kind of have to like watch your back
[29:22] Speaker 3: because it's scary. Like everybody's like wanting to win.
[29:26] Speaker 1: So- Like the housewife shows. Yeah.
[29:29] Speaker 3: No, actually. Yeah.
[29:30] Speaker 2: No.
[29:32] Speaker 4: So like I go back to sometimes I'm like, do
[29:34] Speaker 4: I want to compete again? I'm like, I don't know
[29:35] Speaker 4: if mentally I could do that because it's very scary.
[29:37] Speaker 3: But yeah.
[29:38] Speaker 1: You could do it. I know. I'll have your back.
[29:41] Speaker 1: Do it. Definitely do it.
[29:43] Speaker 2: Yes.
[29:43] Speaker 4: So I think just like being on the show, like
[29:45] Speaker 4: she's she she realized like, I don't know, like a
[29:49] Speaker 4: lot about herself and all of us. We were also
[29:51] Speaker 4: like welcoming each other. We really did like create this
[29:54] Speaker 4: like family bond. And I think she started to open
[29:56] Speaker 4: up and then the dancing on top of it is
[29:58] Speaker 4: so intimate that And you're telling your story through dance.
[30:00] Speaker 3: And that's just so healing.
[30:02] Speaker 4: And I think she's starting to figure out who she
[30:05] Speaker 4: is outside of being a ballroom dancer, which I think
[30:07] Speaker 4: is so beautiful. So I think you guys were able
[30:09] Speaker 4: to actually see who she really was. And I love her.
[30:13] Speaker 4: She's been so sweet to me even after the show
[30:15] Speaker 4: and everything. So I'm very proud of her.
[30:18] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so happy. And I'm so happy that we
[30:22] Speaker 1: all finally got to know her and got through that
[30:25] Speaker 1: tough exterior because... I wanted to really like her more
[30:30] Speaker 1: because she's so beautiful. She's an amazing dancer. I'm like,
[30:33] Speaker 1: don't be so tough, but I get it. Now that
[30:36] Speaker 1: you explained that I get, I understand why she was
[30:39] Speaker 1: like that because she's always had to be like that. Yeah.
[30:42] Speaker 4: Especially if she grew up competing from when she was
[30:44] Speaker 4: baby till now, like that's all she's ever known.
[30:47] Speaker 1: So. And it's probably very lonely too. There's no time
[30:51] Speaker 1: for friends. There's no time outside of this life. If
[30:54] Speaker 1: you want to be the best, The sacrifice people don't
[30:58] Speaker 1: understand is that your whole life is just that.
[31:02] Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing.
[31:03] Speaker 4: And then sometimes for people like her, that's all she has.
[31:07] Speaker 3: So it's like life or death for her.
[31:10] Speaker 1: Well, she treated it like it was. So Adele is
[31:13] Speaker 1: having them do a Paso with a twist. They're dancing
[31:16] Speaker 1: to natural by imagine dragons, which was amazing. They also
[31:20] Speaker 1: receive a standing ovation from the judges. Derek loved their
[31:23] Speaker 1: style of dance because it made them stand out. He says,
[31:27] Speaker 1: if Adele were to join dancing with the stars, she
[31:29] Speaker 1: would elevate the rest of the cast. That was a
[31:32] Speaker 1: huge compliment. Yeah.
[31:35] Speaker 3: I think it's her quality too.
[31:38] Speaker 4: Like just being able to have somebody fresh off the
[31:40] Speaker 4: competition floor is amazing. It's very it's nice because she
[31:44] Speaker 4: her quality is just like fresh and ready to go.
[31:47] Speaker 1: Right. Exactly. Yeah. And I feel like she made him
[31:52] Speaker 1: an amazing dancer when he showed up. I was like, yeah, he's.
[31:57] Speaker 3: Like, I'm not buying it.
[31:59] Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, geez, she's she's not sleeping tonight thinking,
[32:02] Speaker 1: what did I get? She made him good.
[32:05] Speaker 3: So I'm sure that's a good teacher.
[32:08] Speaker 1: That's a good teacher. So I'm curious to see this
[32:11] Speaker 1: will be her first year. Yeah. I'm excited.
[32:14] Speaker 3: I'm so excited to see like, yeah, this is going
[32:17] Speaker 3: to be amazing.
[32:18] Speaker 1: It is going to be amazing. Mark says Adele's giving
[32:21] Speaker 1: them hell. He loved both dances she showcased tonight. Mark's
[32:25] Speaker 1: the biggest fan of her.
[32:26] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[32:29] Speaker 1: Mark has Maura Higgins this year. Oh, yeah.
[32:33] Speaker 3: Her accent is perfect.
[32:35] Speaker 1: It is so funny. You know, my my fiance is
[32:37] Speaker 1: from Dublin. Oh, really? I know that accent. Yeah.
[32:41] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[32:41] Speaker 4: It's like so cute. I'm like, please keep saying Mark's name.
[32:45] Speaker 4: Just keep saying it like all of rehearsal, please.
[32:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, she's she's so cute. Shirley recognizes that Adele forces
[32:52] Speaker 1: her partners to work hard, but it's all paid off,
[32:55] Speaker 1: just like you said in the beginning.
[32:59] Speaker 4: It's it's the payoff is everything. So sometimes the process
[33:02] Speaker 4: can be scary to get there. But learning that process
[33:05] Speaker 4: is going to be her.
[33:06] Speaker 3: She's going to do great.
[33:07] Speaker 1: I feel like what would she do with me? That
[33:09] Speaker 1: would be the biggest challenge of her life.
[33:11] Speaker 3: So I'm like, no, you need to dance with us.
[33:13] Speaker 3: Like he'll bring out the best in you.
[33:15] Speaker 1: Really? Yes.
[33:16] Speaker 3: He will.
[33:17] Speaker 1: Yes.
[33:17] Speaker 3: But you guys would be so good together.
[33:20] Speaker 1: I'm going to find him.
[33:21] Speaker 2: Yes.
[33:22] Speaker 4: I'm going to, I'm going to reach out to him.
[33:24] Speaker 1: I will reach out to him. So finally Shirley announces
[33:28] Speaker 1: that the third place winner is Selena. I kind of
[33:31] Speaker 1: thought so.
[33:32] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[33:34] Speaker 1: But she handled it so well.
[33:36] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
[33:38] Speaker 4: And I think it's hard to, because the other two
[33:41] Speaker 4: are such trained ballroom dancers. And I think that's like,
[33:45] Speaker 4: if she's able to just go back and train and
[33:47] Speaker 4: like really learn the technique and know it's enough to
[33:49] Speaker 4: translate it and just really, you know, elevate somebody like,
[33:53] Speaker 4: and even though she did that already on the show, like,
[33:55] Speaker 4: I think she's going to be so unstoppable. So yeah,
[33:58] Speaker 4: but I thought she killed it and I loved her freestyle.
[34:00] Speaker 3: It was, it was, it was so good.
[34:03] Speaker 1: I loved it too. Um, and I, and I do
[34:06] Speaker 1: think we'll see a lot more of her.
[34:07] Speaker 3: No, for sure. Yeah.
[34:08] Speaker 4: A lot of her dances too. Like I couldn't stop
[34:10] Speaker 4: watching online too. They'd go viral. And I was like, that,
[34:13] Speaker 4: that's a good choreographer. That's a good, that's what makes
[34:16] Speaker 4: a good pro.
[34:16] Speaker 1: So do you feel like she's been dancing the least
[34:21] Speaker 1: amount of time out of the three of them?
[34:23] Speaker 4: I feel like, um, she's been training dance her whole life,
[34:26] Speaker 4: but specifically ballroom in Latin.
[34:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[34:29] Speaker 4: Because the other two had been doing that their whole life.
[34:32] Speaker 4: So she just recently caught on to Ballroom. And if
[34:35] Speaker 4: she's able to do that with a little amount of time, imagine.
[34:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. For the two remaining dancers, AJ and Adele,
[34:42] Speaker 1: the judges not only took tonight's performances into account, but
[34:46] Speaker 1: they're looking at the entire competition. Shirley announces that the
[34:50] Speaker 1: next pro is Adele. I was like, oh, I was
[34:53] Speaker 1: happy and I knew it. But I knew like AJ,
[34:57] Speaker 1: I really felt he thought he was going to win.
[35:02] Speaker 3: Oh, really?
[35:02] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[35:05] Speaker 3: He definitely has that confidence in him.
[35:07] Speaker 1: That's right. And he should, as he should. Yeah. AJ
[35:12] Speaker 1: received second place. He loves being able to perform in
[35:15] Speaker 1: the finale with Charlie, but he admits he's devastated. Adele
[35:19] Speaker 1: feels like all of her sacrifices have paid off for
[35:22] Speaker 1: this moment. I mean, it was so beautiful. And Adele
[35:28] Speaker 1: was so calm about winning.
[35:30] Speaker 3: I know if it were me, I'd be like crying.
[35:33] Speaker 3: I dropped it.
[35:33] Speaker 4: I was like, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shaky. Like,
[35:37] Speaker 4: but she, she just held it together. Very classy, very demure.
[35:41] Speaker 3: I was like, yes.
[35:43] Speaker 1: In her Adele fashion.
[35:44] Speaker 2: Yes.
[35:45] Speaker 1: She just went, won the biggest thing of her life.
[35:48] Speaker 1: And she's just like, so cool about it.
[35:51] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[35:52] Speaker 3: I'm like, that's, that's a very, just put together girl.
[35:55] Speaker 3: I love it.
[35:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. So this week we found out who her
[35:58] Speaker 1: partner is. So it's the Connor Levitt from Secret Lives
[36:03] Speaker 1: of Mormon Wives. He's Whitney Levitt's husband and she competed
[36:07] Speaker 1: last season.
[36:07] Speaker 2: Yes.
[36:09] Speaker 1: That's nice that they have him now. Let's see how
[36:11] Speaker 1: he does. But he got the Rolls Royce.
[36:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, no, he got like the fresh Rolls Royce.
[36:17] Speaker 4: And on top of that, he did dance a routine
[36:21] Speaker 4: last season. He did like a trio on the show.
[36:23] Speaker 4: They invited him to for one of the dedication nights
[36:27] Speaker 4: and he looked like a dancer. So I think those
[36:30] Speaker 4: two are going to look amazing. Like if he was
[36:32] Speaker 4: able to do that contemporary routine and look amazing, like
[36:36] Speaker 4: I'm excited to see what Adele can do with him
[36:38] Speaker 4: and just transform him as a dancer. Like I'm so,
[36:41] Speaker 4: I'm so genuinely curious and like rooting for her too.
[36:43] Speaker 3: So I love it.
[36:45] Speaker 1: So who do you think knowing anything or knowing what
[36:49] Speaker 1: you know, who do you think is going to win?
[36:52] Speaker 1: Could you say yet?
[36:53] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[36:54] Speaker 4: Cause you have like Jenna Dwan on there. You have
[36:57] Speaker 4: the guy from Glee. I forgot his name. There's so
[37:01] Speaker 4: many front runners.
[37:02] Speaker 3: I have no idea.
[37:03] Speaker 4: I feel like after the first like premiere episodes, we're
[37:08] Speaker 4: going to have like more of an understanding of like, okay,
[37:11] Speaker 4: front runners. But right now it's like, I have no idea.
[37:14] Speaker 4: Cause there's like, like half of them are big dance.
[37:16] Speaker 4: So it's going to be so interesting. And yeah. I,
[37:19] Speaker 4: you know, Ezra and Julia, I feel like they're going to,
[37:22] Speaker 4: I've seen some little clips and I'm like very excited
[37:25] Speaker 4: for that.
[37:26] Speaker 1: Really? Okay.
[37:27] Speaker 4: I'm like, you guys are going to be genuinely, I mean,
[37:30] Speaker 4: you guys are already going to be excited and, but like,
[37:32] Speaker 4: I think you guys are going to be very, very surprised.
[37:34] Speaker 3: So I'm excited for that.
[37:36] Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much, Steph. I am so excited.
[37:39] Speaker 1: It's going to be my first time at Dancing with
[37:41] Speaker 1: the Stars. So I really hope I see you. We
[37:43] Speaker 1: have to stay in touch. Yes, please. So that I
[37:45] Speaker 1: get to see you there. We'll have you on again
[37:48] Speaker 1: and we'll have to talk about what's going on.
[37:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, I would love to.
[37:51] Speaker 1: Yes. Thank you so much. And I, again, thank you
[37:54] Speaker 1: for coming on. Where can we find you? Where can
[37:56] Speaker 1: everybody here find you?
[37:58] Speaker 4: Oh, yes.
[37:58] Speaker 3: Stephie Chica on TikTok and Instagram.
[38:01] Speaker 1: All right, Steffi Chica.
[38:04] Speaker 3: Gotta rub the Latinas.
[38:06] Speaker 1: Yeah, we will. We will see you soon.
[38:09] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[38:09] Speaker 1: Bye.
[38:10] Speaker 2: Bye.
