[0:01] Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority life with
[0:04] Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice.
[0:06] Speaker 2: Davey Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
[0:12] Speaker 3: Hi, guys, welcome back to another episode of Dirty Rush.
[0:15] Speaker 2: I am jen Fessler, and today is for the moms.
[0:19] Speaker 3: Yay, Finally we've heard all the stories about mom's visiting
[0:23] Speaker 3: campus and having a little too much fun. Today, I'm
[0:26] Speaker 3: going to talk to a panel of sorority women who
[0:29] Speaker 3: are here to share their own stories of moms going wild.
[0:32] Speaker 3: How controlled moms need to be when they visit college
[0:35] Speaker 3: or do they have the availability to let loose. We're
[0:38] Speaker 3: going to be unpacking it all today. So, you guys,
[0:42] Speaker 3: I have had plenty of visiting days, parents, weekends.
[0:48] Speaker 2: Sorority what do these call it? Red dress?
[0:51] Speaker 3: This big fundraiser at Delaware, I went to it with
[0:55] Speaker 3: my daughter and my husband, and like just plenty of
[0:58] Speaker 3: times where I was at either Maryland or Delaware as
[1:03] Speaker 3: a mother but pretending to be a student, either pretending
[1:07] Speaker 3: to be a sorority girl or a frap. I don't know,
[1:10] Speaker 3: but I have lots of embarrassing stories because I would
[1:15] Speaker 3: get to either school and my kids were so excited
[1:19] Speaker 3: and they would push me. They were pushers, So like
[1:22] Speaker 3: all of a sudden, I'd be standing at some dirty
[1:25] Speaker 3: frat house with like a funnel in my mouth and
[1:30] Speaker 3: like chugging beer, and then my daughter wanted to do
[1:34] Speaker 3: shots with me, and it was ridiculous to the point
[1:37] Speaker 3: where I would be more drunk like than I ever
[1:43] Speaker 3: was in college. I always would fall asleep before whatever
[1:46] Speaker 3: big event there was, whether there was like a big
[1:48] Speaker 3: game that we were supposed to show up at or
[1:51] Speaker 3: I don't know, a huge party. I'd always get into
[1:54] Speaker 3: a fight with my daughter my son because I couldn't
[1:56] Speaker 3: take it. I'd want to go back to the hotel.
[1:58] Speaker 3: It was a whole show. But I have to say
[2:03] Speaker 3: it was really fun, and it was really fun for
[2:05] Speaker 3: me to see my kids like that, because you know,
[2:08] Speaker 3: when they're younger, you're clearly you're not drinking with them.
[2:11] Speaker 3: I mean, if I guess, the first time I really
[2:12] Speaker 3: drank with my kids was at one of these you
[2:15] Speaker 3: know parents weekends. I mean, we have pictures of all
[2:17] Speaker 3: of us like doing shots off of like that ski
[2:20] Speaker 3: or whatever it is. But I also know that I
[2:23] Speaker 3: one time got I had had too much to drink.
[2:26] Speaker 3: We went to a frat house, and there was a
[2:29] Speaker 3: boy at this frat house that Rachel I guess had
[2:33] Speaker 3: gone out with. He was not being very nice to
[2:34] Speaker 3: my daughter, and I want to say I stood in
[2:37] Speaker 3: the corner and shot him dirty looks the entire time
[2:40] Speaker 3: I was there. So I'm not that proud of that,
[2:43] Speaker 3: but I as long as we're telling true stories, Yeah, yeah,
[2:46] Speaker 3: that kind of happened. So we're going to talk to
[2:49] Speaker 3: some sorority girls and find out what they saw it
[2:52] Speaker 3: in college regarding moms like me. Ellie Hi, Ellie Hi, Hi,
[2:57] Speaker 3: Welcome to Dirty Rush. Thank you for joining us.
[3:00] Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Matpyvan Kelly.
[3:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, where did you go to school?
[3:04] Speaker 4: I went to USC?
[3:06] Speaker 3: Okay, So you went to USC, and I'm thinking that
[3:08] Speaker 3: you experienced your fair share of parents' weekends and games
[3:13] Speaker 3: and plenty of times when I don't know, moms in
[3:17] Speaker 3: particular maybe went overboard and embarrassed themselves a little bit.
[3:21] Speaker 3: I was talking before we brought you in about my
[3:24] Speaker 3: own embarrassing moments. But what is the worst story that
[3:28] Speaker 3: you have heard about a mom? I'm going wild at USC.
[3:33] Speaker 4: Oh, Well, you're so right. I feel like family weekend
[3:36] Speaker 4: brings out the worst in the best are on and
[3:41] Speaker 4: then it had see to say worse because a lot
[3:43] Speaker 4: of us benefited from this. But basically, this girl that
[3:48] Speaker 4: was in my closer friend group but wasn't in my sorority,
[3:52] Speaker 4: her mom also went to USC and so this was
[3:55] Speaker 4: like a really exciting weekend for her. Right, her dad
[3:58] Speaker 4: wasn't able to come up. So she about one of
[4:00] Speaker 4: her girlfriends that she went to USC with and as
[4:04] Speaker 4: you can imagine, they were just like so happy to
[4:06] Speaker 4: be there and lose all the same spots that they
[4:09] Speaker 4: were used to.
[4:10] Speaker 5: Yep.
[4:10] Speaker 4: And so basically the girl that we knew was just
[4:13] Speaker 4: a bit like on the more introverted side, like she
[4:15] Speaker 4: would come out but wasn't really a big chatterbox and
[4:19] Speaker 4: wasn't the most social.
[4:21] Speaker 2: I already feel bad for her, and this is her mom.
[4:24] Speaker 4: Right, Her mom is like determined to have that change.
[4:27] Speaker 4: It's sophomore year, and she's like, we're going to get
[4:29] Speaker 4: you out of your shell. Like you're all living in
[4:30] Speaker 4: the sorority house. This is your time to shine. And
[4:34] Speaker 4: so we're at the bar.
[4:36] Speaker 2: I'm already cringing, and.
[4:38] Speaker 4: Her mom is starts buying rounds for all of us, right,
[4:41] Speaker 4: and we're all like obviously still underage where seen some
[4:46] Speaker 4: of us are twenty, but we're enjoying it. We're like, yeah,
[4:50] Speaker 4: this is so fun. Like so and So's mom is
[4:53] Speaker 4: like having a good time and her friend.
[4:54] Speaker 2: The other moms there is your father.
[4:56] Speaker 4: Were other moms there, but they had like you know,
[4:59] Speaker 4: like a well drink and like a glass of wine.
[5:03] Speaker 4: Right this mom and her friend are like doing shot
[5:06] Speaker 4: skis with us. They're like talking to the bar staff.
[5:10] Speaker 4: Our guy friends get there and they're just livening up
[5:14] Speaker 4: the party, which was like the best time, okay, but
[5:18] Speaker 4: it got kind of awkward, and I felt really bad
[5:19] Speaker 4: for the girl when this like group of guys that
[5:24] Speaker 4: included a girl or a guy. She used to talk
[5:26] Speaker 4: to mom sugar, mommy to her face, and it was
[5:31] Speaker 4: really awkward.
[5:33] Speaker 2: To the mother's face.
[5:34] Speaker 4: And the mother was like yeah, like all drinks on
[5:36] Speaker 4: me everyone, and it just overhead.
[5:40] Speaker 2: It was super awkward.
[5:42] Speaker 4: I think the daughter was like to embarrass to say anything, Oh.
[5:45] Speaker 3: My god, my daughter, what that's my My daughter would
[5:48] Speaker 3: not have held back, she'd have been like stop it
[5:50] Speaker 3: right now.
[5:51] Speaker 4: I think with the culture, like also, people were just
[5:55] Speaker 4: kind of like maybe some parents were trying to like
[5:58] Speaker 4: flex in a way and like show off that they
[6:01] Speaker 4: can be like the most fun or the most out there,
[6:04] Speaker 4: could do all the ubers and whatnot. And it was
[6:07] Speaker 4: definitely a really unforgettable family weekend, and our moms all
[6:12] Speaker 4: were just kind of like, oh whatever. And also one
[6:15] Speaker 4: of us girls heard that it was a guy who
[6:17] Speaker 4: said it, but we ended up hearing about it later
[6:21] Speaker 4: and we just felt really bad because she was like
[6:24] Speaker 4: younger and cool and hip and trying to relive her
[6:27] Speaker 4: college days. But yeah, this was definitely more introverted and
[6:32] Speaker 4: it put her really out of her comfortable.
[6:34] Speaker 2: Oh I feel that, Oh that's all. That's awful.
[6:36] Speaker 3: Well listen, I mean I was saying before we brought
[6:41] Speaker 3: you on that, you know, I at one point one
[6:44] Speaker 3: particular parents weekend I remember, and I always felt like
[6:47] Speaker 3: they my kids were always just like you know, they
[6:49] Speaker 3: couldn't wait to drink with us. They were so excited,
[6:51] Speaker 3: and they were the ones that were bringing over the
[6:53] Speaker 3: shot skis wherever you call them, and like whatever, and
[6:56] Speaker 3: then the funnels. But I remember one particular one were
[6:59] Speaker 3: we rank with all of my friends, all of my
[7:01] Speaker 3: kid's friends went over to I don't remember it was
[7:03] Speaker 3: my son or my daughter. I think my daughter went
[7:04] Speaker 3: over to a frat house and there was a boy
[7:07] Speaker 3: there that my daughter whispered she just whatever was not
[7:10] Speaker 3: nice to her, or they had gone out or something,
[7:12] Speaker 3: and I just sat there giving him dirty looks like
[7:14] Speaker 3: the entire time I was there, and hoping he was
[7:16] Speaker 3: gonna see me give.
[7:17] Speaker 4: You really protective mama bear.
[7:19] Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes, I don't know if I if
[7:21] Speaker 3: somebody had called me sugar mama.
[7:23] Speaker 2: That's what that's what they called her. Yes, yeah, my.
[7:26] Speaker 3: My my daughter would have been like, okay, so thank
[7:28] Speaker 3: you for coming to Delaware. There's the door, and feel
[7:31] Speaker 3: free to never come back, okay, and also never speak
[7:35] Speaker 3: to me again. Right so right, But they meant didn't
[7:37] Speaker 3: a way because she was paying for everything, I guess.
[7:40] Speaker 4: Yeah, and just like trying to be again the life
[7:43] Speaker 4: of the party and really generous with everyone. And other
[7:45] Speaker 4: people's parents were there, but I don't think they were
[7:48] Speaker 4: at that point in the night like drinking to the level.
[7:51] Speaker 3: Yes, did you talk to this? Did you talk to
[7:54] Speaker 3: your friend about it? Afterwards?
[7:57] Speaker 4: We didn't really. Again, I wasn't like super close with her,
[8:00] Speaker 4: and I don't think it was something that like she
[8:03] Speaker 4: really wanted to talk about.
[8:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't blame her.
[8:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, do you feel like the mom was embarrassed after
[8:09] Speaker 3: when she I mean.
[8:10] Speaker 4: I think they had to talk the next day and
[8:12] Speaker 4: the daughter was like mortified, but she wasn't like would
[8:16] Speaker 4: have said anything in the moment, right, right, And yeah,
[8:20] Speaker 4: I'm not sure if it was like in an overtly
[8:23] Speaker 4: flirty way from the boy, right because like the mom
[8:26] Speaker 4: was cute and fun and doesn't but yeah, it just
[8:31] Speaker 4: came off really wrong.
[8:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so funny because I see Elli sometimes and
[8:35] Speaker 3: my social media, so my friends, I mean they're they're
[8:38] Speaker 3: all moms and they go but not my not really.
[8:41] Speaker 3: But occasionally we'll see someone like some mom and she's
[8:44] Speaker 3: wearing like a half shirt, which.
[8:46] Speaker 4: You would definitely get at my school, like for family
[8:48] Speaker 4: weekend and my mom and everyone obviously everyone's mom is
[8:53] Speaker 4: like different in different ages and different styles, but I think, yeah,
[8:58] Speaker 4: she just the the the way that I think some
[9:03] Speaker 4: parents dress that like usc it can definitely yeah, lean into.
[9:08] Speaker 3: You know what, We're gonna have to send this segment
[9:11] Speaker 3: out as a PSA to like all the moms before,
[9:15] Speaker 3: because you do feel like, I know, like at least
[9:17] Speaker 3: for my kids, like they were so excited to go
[9:19] Speaker 3: out drinking with us, like y bar hopping and frat hopping,
[9:24] Speaker 3: and like I was saying that I, you know, not
[9:27] Speaker 3: that I don't. I'm a drinker and I like to
[9:30] Speaker 3: have fun, but like I'll pass out at nine o'clock.
[9:33] Speaker 3: And then they would get mad that I was like
[9:34] Speaker 3: not finishing out the night with them. But so I
[9:37] Speaker 3: think it could kind of go, you know, both ways.
[9:40] Speaker 4: Yeah, my mom even like I would joke with my
[9:43] Speaker 4: friends that she can out party me, she was also
[9:46] Speaker 4: party and I mean she loves to have a good time.
[9:50] Speaker 2: But yeah, those are limits.
[9:52] Speaker 4: Wasn't too far to that end of the spectrum?
[9:55] Speaker 2: That right, right right, there's a happy yes. I agree.
[10:00] Speaker 3: We're going to use this little talk of ours as
[10:02] Speaker 3: a cautionary tale or moms going to parent weekends. Good, okay,
[10:08] Speaker 3: thank you so much for joining us. Ellie, thank you,
[10:10] Speaker 3: bye Bay, take care bye. Love all right you guys,
[10:27] Speaker 3: Now we are bringing in I love this name.
[10:30] Speaker 2: Anastasia. Hi, Anastasia, Hi, how are you hi? Welcome to
[10:34] Speaker 2: Dirty Rush. Thank you for joining us.
[10:36] Speaker 1: Thank you so much for having me.
[10:37] Speaker 2: It is my pleasure.
[10:38] Speaker 3: We are talking about moms that lose it at parents
[10:41] Speaker 3: weekends or at formals, and I am hoping that you
[10:45] Speaker 3: have a good, juicy story for us.
[10:48] Speaker 4: I have the best story.
[10:51] Speaker 1: My friends are laughing so hard that I'm telling this story.
[10:55] Speaker 1: But we everyone in the story included, We all laugh
[10:57] Speaker 1: about this till this day.
[10:59] Speaker 2: And it's actually mom.
[11:00] Speaker 1: Mom, it's hilarious. But so my parents, like they come
[11:06] Speaker 1: for every parents weekend. They love it.
[11:08] Speaker 2: Where'd you go to school? I'm sorry and athesia, I
[11:10] Speaker 2: go to UC Berkeley.
[11:11] Speaker 1: Okay, so yeah, I'm go to UC Berkeley. I'll be
[11:15] Speaker 1: a senior next year. I'm an athlete and then I'm
[11:16] Speaker 1: also an authorty So okay. They love coming up. It's
[11:20] Speaker 1: super fun and for a little bit of context. So
[11:24] Speaker 1: this year was just give me my mom coming up
[11:26] Speaker 1: and I was like really excited and we was going
[11:29] Speaker 1: really well and a little bit just like a week before,
[11:32] Speaker 1: I had like been talking to this guy for like
[11:35] Speaker 1: months on sawn end and my mom of course like
[11:39] Speaker 1: she knew about him and give her all the details.
[11:42] Speaker 1: And he had asked me like a couple of weeks before.
[11:45] Speaker 1: He was like, so like, am I gonna meet your
[11:47] Speaker 1: mom on parents Weekend? And I was like, well, kind
[11:50] Speaker 1: of everyone meets my mom, like she's awesome, Like she'll
[11:53] Speaker 1: probably you a drink and she won't even know you,
[11:55] Speaker 1: like of course, like it's not a big deal if
[11:57] Speaker 1: you meet her. And so fast forward. It's like literally
[12:01] Speaker 1: maybe four days before parents weekend, before my mom's coming,
[12:05] Speaker 1: him and I can get into like a heated argument.
[12:08] Speaker 1: We end things. It was messy and it was brutal
[12:10] Speaker 1: and whatever, and so we fast forward. Now it's parents weekend.
[12:15] Speaker 1: My mom and I are at the tailgate at cal
[12:18] Speaker 1: They kind of do it at like this like hotel
[12:20] Speaker 1: parking lot thing that's the city. So here my mom
[12:24] Speaker 1: and I are. We're in our matching denim dresses. We're
[12:26] Speaker 1: really excited, and we're standing at the bar and she's
[12:30] Speaker 1: like getting some like drinks for me and my friends.
[12:32] Speaker 1: And I turn around and I see my ex's best
[12:37] Speaker 1: friend standing with this mom, and I was like, oh, hey,
[12:42] Speaker 1: is this your mom? And he goes look, gives me
[12:44] Speaker 1: this look and he's like nope. And I look at
[12:46] Speaker 1: her a little bit more and I was like, oh
[12:48] Speaker 1: my god, you're my exes mother. Oh god, my god. Okay,
[12:53] Speaker 1: and I remember she like kind of like hi, and
[12:56] Speaker 1: I was like Hi, like, are you Blah Blah Blah's mom,
[12:59] Speaker 1: And she's like, I am, are you Anastasia? And I go,
[13:03] Speaker 1: oh no, I go, yeah, I am, and she goes,
[13:07] Speaker 1: I just want to tell you I stalked you on
[13:09] Speaker 1: your roster over the summer. You are adorable. I'm so
[13:13] Speaker 1: sorry that my son is such an idiot. I don't
[13:16] Speaker 1: know why he's so stupid, and I don't know what's
[13:19] Speaker 1: wrong with him. And I'm just sitting here and my
[13:22] Speaker 1: friends are behind me. My mom is like listening to
[13:25] Speaker 1: the best story and like she's awesome, like yeah, love
[13:29] Speaker 1: this woman. And she's and I'm like, man, like she's
[13:32] Speaker 1: almost like making me want to like tell her like, yeah,
[13:34] Speaker 1: your son's kind of a piece of right now. But
[13:37] Speaker 1: like I was like, wait, no, like he's great, he's wonderful,
[13:40] Speaker 1: Like oh great guy, Like you raised a great son.
[13:44] Speaker 1: And she was like no, like I don't know what's
[13:46] Speaker 1: wrong with him, and like going on for like minutes,
[13:50] Speaker 1: and then I look over like away from me, and
[13:53] Speaker 1: I see my seeing this conversation between three like three
[13:58] Speaker 1: my love friends, my mom, me, and we're all just
[14:01] Speaker 1: like hashing and loving each other and it is just
[14:06] Speaker 1: great comedic and like she's hanging out the girls, and
[14:09] Speaker 1: then like she was eventually like okay, like I have
[14:11] Speaker 1: to go back to my son. I was like, you
[14:12] Speaker 1: go back to him, right, And then we're at this
[14:15] Speaker 1: tailgate for like hours, so like everyone now at this
[14:17] Speaker 1: point has like a few drinks in them, right, We're
[14:20] Speaker 1: all having a great time, and the tailgate's about to
[14:23] Speaker 1: close and it's about like everyone's everyone needs to wrap
[14:25] Speaker 1: it up kind of thing, right, and we're about to leave,
[14:28] Speaker 1: and I see my ex come and approach my mom
[14:32] Speaker 1: and I and he's finally just like high missus Snodgrass,
[14:37] Speaker 1: like i just wanted to introduce myself, like I'm sure
[14:40] Speaker 1: you've just heard a lot of things about.
[14:42] Speaker 2: Me, Like, wow, that's pretty ballsy.
[14:46] Speaker 1: I was like the balls on this sky. Like I
[14:47] Speaker 1: was kind of standing there like I haven't spoken to
[14:51] Speaker 1: you since last seed argument. And it's very awkward and
[14:57] Speaker 1: goes and he shakes her hand, and my mom was
[14:59] Speaker 1: kind of just it's like hi, like not like she
[15:02] Speaker 1: was very like composed, but I tell she was like, I.
[15:06] Speaker 2: Don't like you. Never look at my doat right exactly?
[15:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like you and I don't want to
[15:11] Speaker 1: speak to you. But I'm gonna be nice for my
[15:12] Speaker 1: daughter's sake. And he was much like, oh, like, why
[15:16] Speaker 1: didn't you introduce me to your mom? And then my
[15:19] Speaker 1: mom just goes, she grows me by the arm and
[15:21] Speaker 1: she goes, we're leaving.
[15:22] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, And then yeah, we.
[15:24] Speaker 1: Were just out of there. But it was the funniest
[15:27] Speaker 1: thing ever. And then months like months and months later,
[15:29] Speaker 1: I ran into his mom again because she was at
[15:32] Speaker 1: one of like these like cal events that we have,
[15:34] Speaker 1: and she was just the sweetest woman ever, like called
[15:37] Speaker 1: me out from a crowd and I was like, I
[15:40] Speaker 1: love you. Your son and I didn't work out, that's fine, right,
[15:44] Speaker 1: and I are from this parents weekend, like you're my girl.
[15:48] Speaker 4: She was.
[15:48] Speaker 3: That was very I think that was very gracious of you.
[15:50] Speaker 3: I guess anna her. I'm trying to think if if
[15:53] Speaker 3: I would go up to a girl, because I have
[15:54] Speaker 3: a son and a daughter, and when I go up
[15:57] Speaker 3: to a girl that he had broken up, he would
[15:59] Speaker 3: probably kill me.
[15:59] Speaker 2: He might never speak to be again. Yeah.
[16:02] Speaker 3: If I went up to a girl and I was like, listen,
[16:05] Speaker 3: my son's dick, I can't like he would just even
[16:07] Speaker 3: have breathe out. But yes, but I will say I
[16:11] Speaker 3: already told the story when we opened this episode. I've
[16:15] Speaker 3: given dirty looks to boys. There was recently this, like
[16:19] Speaker 3: literally just a few weeks ago, we were we have
[16:22] Speaker 3: a home in a beach town in Jersey, and we
[16:25] Speaker 3: saw someone that had my daughter had broken up with
[16:29] Speaker 3: probably three years ago, and he was like across the restaurant.
[16:32] Speaker 3: She's like, Mom, that's him, and I said, I'm getting up.
[16:36] Speaker 3: I'm going over there.
[16:37] Speaker 2: Like she's like, you sit down.
[16:39] Speaker 3: But it's like there's something about as you might find
[16:42] Speaker 3: out one day, there's something about that maternal instinct and
[16:46] Speaker 3: that mama bear thing that kicks in that I'm sure
[16:48] Speaker 3: gets a lot of moms in trouble at Parents' Weekend.
[16:51] Speaker 1: I also think it's like when you have such a
[16:53] Speaker 1: close relationship to your daughter and she's just like telling you.
[16:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, an X, Y and C.
[16:58] Speaker 1: It's like, well, like you would react the same way
[17:01] Speaker 1: as like I'm sure like her friends were reacting same way,
[17:03] Speaker 1: Like my mom was like, I don't.
[17:05] Speaker 2: Like you like my daughter over so No.
[17:08] Speaker 3: It's true that they say though that, like you know
[17:12] Speaker 3: somebody that hurts you, you may forget that person, but
[17:15] Speaker 3: your mother will never forget and will hold grudges.
[17:19] Speaker 2: I mean my kids.
[17:20] Speaker 3: You know, like every kid had whatever stuff, little fights
[17:23] Speaker 3: with their friends and in elementaries, in middle school and
[17:26] Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, Jane's coming over, and you know it's
[17:31] Speaker 3: like I'm the one that can't get past it. And
[17:32] Speaker 3: you can bind that, I guess with alcohol. And that's
[17:35] Speaker 3: like a fun parent's weekend.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[17:36] Speaker 1: Parents weekend is literally a tailgate with all of your
[17:40] Speaker 1: friends and sing all your friend's parents first, which is
[17:43] Speaker 1: super fun. And then it's like, oh, mom, like I
[17:46] Speaker 1: went out with him.
[17:47] Speaker 3: And yeah, well or yeah, excep. My daughter Rachel was
[17:51] Speaker 3: always whispering to me about someone. Yes, my son Zach
[17:54] Speaker 3: can never tell me anything, but Rachel was always whispering
[17:56] Speaker 3: to me about that's him.
[17:58] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And it's fun. It's so fun. I love
[18:02] Speaker 2: that story and I really really like his mom.
[18:05] Speaker 1: Love his mom him and I even joke about it
[18:08] Speaker 1: till this day, like we're like this is I literally
[18:10] Speaker 1: told him, so I was like, oh, by the way.
[18:11] Speaker 2: I'm not back together, are you.
[18:12] Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no no. Like I was like, by
[18:14] Speaker 1: the way, like I'm coming on a podcast and I'm
[18:16] Speaker 1: totally going to tell the story. And he was like,
[18:18] Speaker 1: you totally shut, and I.
[18:19] Speaker 2: Was like, I love it.
[18:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I'm glad you guys are friends. I suppose
[18:22] Speaker 3: even though we still hate him over here, we still.
[18:24] Speaker 1: Hate him, but we're going to make fun of him
[18:26] Speaker 1: for this forever and praise his mom.
[18:28] Speaker 2: Perfect. Thank you so much and Stasia so nice meeting you.
[18:32] Speaker 3: All right, you guys, So next guest that we have,
[18:35] Speaker 3: we actually are really lucky because we are bringing in
[18:37] Speaker 3: my adorable producer, Miss Kendall. Hello, my love, Hello, Hello,
[18:44] Speaker 3: thank you for coming on, Thank you for coming behind
[18:47] Speaker 3: the camera.
[18:48] Speaker 2: I know, right right, so yes, talk to me topic.
[18:54] Speaker 6: I like right when we talked about doing this topic,
[18:57] Speaker 6: I immediately thought of this story and this nasty vision.
[19:01] Speaker 2: I have in my head. Oh god, you're going to cringe. Okay.
[19:06] Speaker 6: I went to Arizona State University, obviously known as the
[19:10] Speaker 6: Harvard of the West, a big party school.
[19:12] Speaker 2: Obviously.
[19:13] Speaker 6: Yeah, and you obviously are aware that mom's even dads,
[19:17] Speaker 6: but moms really drink extra on like Parents' weekend and
[19:22] Speaker 6: Mom's weekend for sure.
[19:23] Speaker 3: In our defense, I know you heard me say before.
[19:25] Speaker 3: I do feel like a lot of times as moms,
[19:28] Speaker 3: our kids are the ones that are like, you know,
[19:32] Speaker 3: so intent upon getting a drum.
[19:34] Speaker 4: Right, like chug chug. I think I did that to
[19:36] Speaker 4: my mom, and you did.
[19:38] Speaker 6: Rachel ever like ice, you like give you a smear
[19:41] Speaker 6: off ice and make you chug.
[19:42] Speaker 4: That was like a thing when I was in college.
[19:44] Speaker 3: I don't think so, but I just know there was
[19:46] Speaker 3: always shots being handed to me and there it was
[19:48] Speaker 3: just constant.
[19:48] Speaker 2: Okay, I love it.
[19:49] Speaker 4: Okay.
[19:50] Speaker 6: So there was this mom in my sorority who was
[19:54] Speaker 6: going through a divorce. So I think she was a
[19:57] Speaker 6: little different and probably wild compared to moms whose.
[20:00] Speaker 2: Daughters are putting it on them right.
[20:02] Speaker 6: And she was the definition of like plastic surgery okay,
[20:07] Speaker 6: and had big, a big, a big a big rack
[20:12] Speaker 6: and she was wearing cropped up and she was standing
[20:16] Speaker 6: on an elevated surface by the sophomore DJ like just
[20:21] Speaker 6: dancing like.
[20:22] Speaker 2: Up your down. No no, no no, and I'll never
[20:25] Speaker 2: forget it.
[20:26] Speaker 4: And she kept like getting like wet on.
[20:28] Speaker 6: Her shirt and then her shirt went see throw no, this.
[20:32] Speaker 4: Is the easy part.
[20:33] Speaker 6: Her shirt went see through, so then you could see
[20:35] Speaker 6: like obviously she was a little chilly. And then I
[20:39] Speaker 6: know and then when her daughter tried to tell her
[20:41] Speaker 6: like mom, like like cover up.
[20:44] Speaker 4: She just took off her shirt.
[20:45] Speaker 2: No she didn't, No, she did not. You are making
[20:48] Speaker 2: us up.
[20:49] Speaker 4: No, I'm not making it up. She was just like
[20:50] Speaker 4: in her brow she was like this like.
[20:52] Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw up. Not throw I mean I should
[20:55] Speaker 2: be so.
[20:55] Speaker 3: I don't used to be like so judgy, but like.
[20:57] Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? She feel bad for the girl.
[21:01] Speaker 2: I'm the mom. Did you Were you friends with the girl?
[21:04] Speaker 1: Yes?
[21:04] Speaker 4: And imagine if it was like a saggy.
[21:06] Speaker 2: Like I can't take it, even if I don't care
[21:08] Speaker 2: what it was.
[21:09] Speaker 4: Imagine if, like you know, it was like a mom
[21:11] Speaker 4: who had more saga, but they were like perfectly perky.
[21:13] Speaker 2: Wait, I don't say what she had.
[21:15] Speaker 3: She kept her braun right, that's brawn, but still yeah
[21:18] Speaker 3: for your bra. No, Kendall, you most certainly do not
[21:21] Speaker 3: you Were you friends with the girl?
[21:23] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[21:23] Speaker 2: I was friendly.
[21:23] Speaker 4: She was in my pledge.
[21:24] Speaker 2: She mus haven't devastated, and she.
[21:26] Speaker 6: Was like a sweet like I don't even think I
[21:29] Speaker 6: ever saw the girl wear a cropped off herself.
[21:30] Speaker 3: Oh my god, listen, I mean, I can't imagine waking
[21:35] Speaker 3: up the next morning and being that mom like you
[21:37] Speaker 3: would never do that, Kendall, Rachel, she just came down
[21:40] Speaker 3: for one second. Would ever take off my top and
[21:42] Speaker 3: just be in my bra at like a frat party
[21:45] Speaker 3: and just like shaking?
[21:47] Speaker 4: It's funny?
[21:48] Speaker 2: Would I?
[21:49] Speaker 3: She's laughing, she goes, No, exactly, she goes. She goes, well,
[21:53] Speaker 3: you don't have your boobs, aren't that you're here?
[21:54] Speaker 4: Actually I have my mom here.
[21:56] Speaker 2: She has a story. Let's hear sad.
[22:01] Speaker 1: Tell the stow.
[22:02] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Kendall, but you look like sisters. Yeah, right, Well,
[22:08] Speaker 2: we went to the boys.
[22:10] Speaker 6: One of the boys friends I don't even know which,
[22:12] Speaker 6: say okay, and we saw this mom dancing up because
[22:14] Speaker 6: a lot of moms got dancing out.
[22:16] Speaker 4: The stage, and we saw these frat boys kind of
[22:19] Speaker 4: egging on this really drunk frat boy.
[22:22] Speaker 2: Wait, the frat boys were egging on a mom.
[22:24] Speaker 6: The mom egging on.
[22:25] Speaker 2: The boy, and up this lady was making out. No,
[22:32] Speaker 2: was making out with the frat boy.
[22:34] Speaker 3: Ew yes, that's so, that's almost that borders on not
[22:39] Speaker 3: being funny on.
[22:40] Speaker 4: The stage in front of everybody.
[22:42] Speaker 6: That's yeah, I'm pretty sure she had a wedding ring on.
[22:47] Speaker 2: Holy wait, Rach, did you ever? Did that ever happen
[22:50] Speaker 2: to you?
[22:51] Speaker 3: You've heard the stories, so I want to bring on it,
[22:54] Speaker 3: but she's like, in the middle of working and feeding
[22:56] Speaker 3: the cats. You actually heard about mother making out with
[22:59] Speaker 3: one of the boys. What would you do if I
[23:01] Speaker 3: ever did that?
[23:02] Speaker 2: That would be it?
[23:03] Speaker 3: She would say, listen, it's been real, thank you for
[23:05] Speaker 3: being my mother for eighteen years, and I'll see you never.
[23:08] Speaker 4: I would freak out.
[23:10] Speaker 6: Moms have to get out once in a while because
[23:12] Speaker 6: if they the only time they ever get out is
[23:14] Speaker 6: at their daughter's sorority parties.
[23:16] Speaker 2: It's such a mess.
[23:17] Speaker 3: Oh my god, I cannot imagine then whatever I would
[23:21] Speaker 3: just she would never let me ever like come to
[23:23] Speaker 3: the school, and that would be it.
[23:24] Speaker 4: And imagine if it was you both have sons. Imagine
[23:26] Speaker 4: if you did that with one of the son's friends.
[23:28] Speaker 4: That's even worse.
[23:29] Speaker 2: Can you imagine people do that? Wow, I'm telling you.
[23:33] Speaker 3: I was telling Kendall, I felt guilty about like giving
[23:35] Speaker 3: this boy that had hurt my daughter dirty looks across
[23:37] Speaker 3: the frat house and I never was shaking my boobs anywhere.
[23:41] Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're cute, Like the guys were probably
[23:44] Speaker 3: checking you out.
[23:45] Speaker 2: Like they were most rely not thank you for that.
[23:49] Speaker 4: Yeah, Kendall was just like, oh my god, that's a
[23:51] Speaker 4: mom you could tell by the jeez, that's awful, awful, awful.
[23:56] Speaker 2: Anyways, that was too. Thank you for making me feel
[23:58] Speaker 2: better about myself. Evacuate it.
[24:01] Speaker 3: I'm never going to be that bad rach. Of course,
[24:04] Speaker 3: college is over, so who knows. All bets are off?
[24:21] Speaker 3: All right, you guys, So now we are bringing in Melissa. Hi,
[24:25] Speaker 3: Miss Melissa, Hi, Hi, thank you for joining us. Of course,
[24:30] Speaker 3: I think you probably know we're talking about moms who
[24:32] Speaker 3: have lost their parents weekend formal events.
[24:36] Speaker 2: At their kids' schools.
[24:37] Speaker 3: So I'm hoping that you have a funny story for
[24:39] Speaker 3: us about well maybe not about your own mom. That
[24:42] Speaker 3: might be not as funny to you, but maybe maybe yours,
[24:45] Speaker 3: maybe someone else's.
[24:46] Speaker 2: Do you know any moms like this? Yeah?
[24:48] Speaker 5: I have a few stories about like my family.
[24:51] Speaker 2: Oh good, even better? So what did your mom do?
[24:54] Speaker 5: Okay, so this past your family weekend? It was a
[24:58] Speaker 5: big game day and my mom was waiting in line
[25:00] Speaker 5: for the porta pottie at our tailgate and she was
[25:04] Speaker 5: next in line in a frat pledge like shoved her
[25:08] Speaker 5: and so she like turned to the pledge and she was.
[25:10] Speaker 2: Like, what are you doing.
[25:12] Speaker 5: He was like, I need to fucking piss and she
[25:14] Speaker 5: was like, okay, well there's a line and he was
[25:18] Speaker 5: like no, I'm next, Like you can wait.
[25:20] Speaker 3: No he did not, So this is this is quickly
[25:23] Speaker 3: becoming not funny. I want the kid's name, I want
[25:25] Speaker 3: his phone number, I want his address because I'm gonna
[25:28] Speaker 3: lose it.
[25:29] Speaker 5: Yeah, I have no idea who he is because he
[25:31] Speaker 5: also lied about what frat he was in, because he
[25:33] Speaker 5: said that he was Pike and we like looked at
[25:36] Speaker 5: the ties and it was like not the same tie
[25:38] Speaker 5: at all.
[25:38] Speaker 2: So he was lying.
[25:40] Speaker 5: But basically, then my dad came up and he was like, hey,
[25:43] Speaker 5: what's going on? And he was like, I'm gonna fucking piss.
[25:48] Speaker 5: He shoved my dad. He's like, what Frady in? What
[25:50] Speaker 5: Friday in? My dad was like, I'm fifty two, and
[25:53] Speaker 5: then he was like you want to fight old man?
[25:55] Speaker 2: And then were you there? Did you see this happening?
[25:58] Speaker 5: I wasn't there, but my dad walked.
[26:00] Speaker 2: You must have been, so this is so awful.
[26:03] Speaker 5: Yeah I was because they just said that they were
[26:04] Speaker 5: going to the bathroom for a minute and I was tailgating.
[26:08] Speaker 5: Obviously I was pretty drunk, so I was a little
[26:11] Speaker 5: confused because so that my dad was like, I'm fifty two,
[26:14] Speaker 5: and he's like, okay, do you want to fight old man?
[26:16] Speaker 5: And my dad was like, no, just go to the
[26:18] Speaker 5: back of the line. And he punched my dad in
[26:20] Speaker 5: the face and my dad walks back with black eye.
[26:22] Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? This is going on? Wait a second.
[26:26] Speaker 2: This is an awful, horrible story.
[26:28] Speaker 3: This is not mom's gone wild. This is about a
[26:31] Speaker 3: kid that a mom needs to go wild on.
[26:33] Speaker 2: Yes, this is awful.
[26:35] Speaker 5: Yeah, so my parents are both pissed off.
[26:38] Speaker 2: Of course your dad got a black eye.
[26:42] Speaker 5: Yeah, my boyfriend's the president of a different frat, so
[26:46] Speaker 5: he just took my parents to his frat to like
[26:48] Speaker 5: cool off and get ice and stuff.
[26:51] Speaker 2: This is sick.
[26:52] Speaker 3: This is like, well, this is a great This is
[26:55] Speaker 3: a story that belongs in an episode of Uh. I
[26:59] Speaker 3: don't know, stay home, don't go to parents weekend, or
[27:02] Speaker 3: stay away from rat boys, I don't know, something like that,
[27:05] Speaker 3: or stay away from drunk frat boys.
[27:06] Speaker 2: But this is nasty. That's awful.
[27:08] Speaker 5: Yeah, he was crazy, probably on drugs or something.
[27:12] Speaker 2: Oh my god, insane. Well, Melissa, I'm sorry that happened
[27:16] Speaker 2: to you. That's awful.
[27:17] Speaker 4: It's okay.
[27:17] Speaker 5: We're all good now.
[27:19] Speaker 3: Okay, okay, because your parents have fun? Did they have
[27:21] Speaker 3: fun at parents weekend outside of getting punched in the face.
[27:24] Speaker 5: They didn't end up making it to the game that day,
[27:27] Speaker 5: I'll bet they didn't, but the night before we went
[27:30] Speaker 5: out and we went hard on drinking, so they still
[27:34] Speaker 5: had a good weekend.
[27:35] Speaker 2: Okay, Well, they're good sports. Yeah. Yeah.
[27:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, he's lucky that he punched the right family, because
[27:43] Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, he's lucky that they are mature enough
[27:46] Speaker 3: and that they were able. They were able to handle
[27:48] Speaker 3: it. It would have not have gone that well if he
[27:49] Speaker 3: had punched a fessler.
[27:51] Speaker 5: Yeah, no, it could have been a lot worse. Luck,
[27:54] Speaker 5: my god didn't fight back.
[27:55] Speaker 3: Yes, please please tell your father. I'm very impressed by him.
[28:00] Speaker 5: I think my dad did want to punch bag, but
[28:02] Speaker 5: my mom was like, don't.
[28:03] Speaker 3: Embarrass it, of course, yes, yeah, they don't want embarrass you. Yeah,
[28:08] Speaker 3: I love them all right, Well, congratulations on having such
[28:12] Speaker 3: great parents.
[28:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you. Hopeing that little runt learned his lesson, Yeah,
[28:16] Speaker 2: I hope so. Probably don't though.
[28:18] Speaker 3: Yeah right, probably not all right, Melissa, thanks for joining us.
[28:22] Speaker 3: Thank you okay, bye, all right you guys. That is
[28:26] Speaker 3: it for part one of this episode of Dirty Rush.
