It was a night of tactical warfare in Madrid and tempers boiling over at the Metropolitano, and we’ve got all the fallout on today's talkSPORT Daily podcast! Adrian Durham is joined by former England striker Darren Bent and talkSPORT commentator Jim Proudfoot, who was behind the mic in Spain as Arsenal played out a gritty 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid. They discuss whether the Gunners will be happy to take a level scoreline back to the Emirates or if they’ve let a massive opportunity slip through their fingers. We dive deep into the VAR drama that left Mikel Arteta fuming—was Arsenal’s late penalty shout unfairly overturned, and did Diego Simeone’s touchline antics influence the decision? Plus, with Viktor Gyökeres and Julián Alvarez both trading blows from the spot, we ask if Arsenal have the firepower to finish the job in London. There's SO much to discuss in the latest episode of the talkSPORT Daily podcast!
