For years, Scottish football has followed the same script: Celtic or Rangers, Rangers or Celtic. But this season has been different. Hearts’ rise turned the Premiership into a genuine three-horse title race and even as it narrows to two, the old predictability has been challenged. Former Rangers, Liverpool, Stoke & Dundee midfielder Charlie Adam joins Sam Ellard to ask why Scottish football is competitive again, how Hearts became serious contenders, whether the Premiership split is working as intended and what a stronger domestic league could mean for the Scotland national team.
