In this members-only episode, we bring you a preview of multiple firsthand encounters that stretch from the swamps of Florida to the forests of Oregon and the mountains of Idaho. A routine fishing trip in a remote Florida wildlife management area turns into a ground-shaking charge through thick brush… followed by a chilling clap that receives a deliberate response from deep within the swamp. A late-night drive in that same area ends with a snapped branch striking a vehicle and heavy footsteps closing in fast. We also hear about a towering figure discovered near a strange backwoods structure in Oregon, massive birds seen during wildfire season, eerie vocalizations near Hoodoo Mountain, and unexplained lights in the sky witnessed while living off-grid. These are raw, unfiltered accounts shared directly by the witnesses. The full conversations, deeper details, and everything that didn’t make this preview are available exclusively to members. [0:21] Speaker 1: way more and we go out to Idaho Hudo Mountain

[1:05] Speaker 2: And I was like when we went and we climbed
[1:07] Speaker 2: up that butte and we saw something that we thought
[1:11] Speaker 2: was a bear that ended up being what I can only.
[1:13] Speaker 1: Describe as a sasquatch.
[1:16] Speaker 2: He's like, no, I saw a big we saw a
[1:19] Speaker 2: big elk And I was like, what are you talking about?
[1:21] Speaker 2: He's like yeah, But the weird part was it's antlers
[1:24] Speaker 2: were like a moose. I'm like, are you kidding me?
[1:28] Speaker 2: What are you talking about? This makes that makes no sense.
[1:31] Speaker 2: So I don't know if it was something that he
[1:35] Speaker 2: did to deal with what he's seen, but there was
[1:40] Speaker 2: no elk with moose antlers up on top of that.
[1:43] Speaker 2: Butte that was.
[1:46] Speaker 1: Really strange to me.
[1:48] Speaker 2: And I talked to him a few years back and
[1:50] Speaker 2: I brought it up again and it's like, didn't phase him.
[1:54] Speaker 2: He said same thing, laughed about it. So whatever happened
[2:00] Speaker 2: within himself or influence from the creature, he does not
[2:08] Speaker 2: recollect it like like we do. You know, I've I've
[2:14] Speaker 2: seen a lot of creatures being in an Oregon and hunting,
[2:19] Speaker 2: and I know what an elk looks like. And we
[2:23] Speaker 2: did not experience an elk and that was that was
[2:31] Speaker 2: the extent of it.
[2:33] Speaker 1: My goodness. That's the kind of individual that I think
[2:37] Speaker 1: would be very interesting for hypnosis. Absolutely, I've thought that
[2:44] Speaker 1: to see to see if if there's something where he
[2:48] Speaker 1: just buried those memories deep and remembers it a certain way. Now,
[2:55] Speaker 1: my goodness, have you been back to that area ever
[3:00] Speaker 1: since then? No, not at all.
[3:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, I the opportunity never never brought me back to it.
[3:09] Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Okay, my goodness. That is wild. You said
[3:15] Speaker 1: you're from Oakridge as well.
[3:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm from Oakridge. I was born in Cottage Grove area.
[3:22] Speaker 1: And uh yeah, oh man, so.
[3:25] Speaker 2: I was born in the back of a Volkswagen van
[3:27] Speaker 2: in Cottage Grove in the parking lot of the hospital.
[3:32] Speaker 1: It didn't quite make it, dud. Wow, you must have
[3:39] Speaker 1: you've you've got to have heard things from Oakridge or
[3:42] Speaker 1: that area. I would guess, yes, yes, so there there
[3:45] Speaker 1: is heard.
[3:48] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so there's some significant things. One thing that
[3:53] Speaker 2: is a real big talk amongst amongst locals that know
[3:58] Speaker 2: about it is something known as Christie's Crack, and apparently
[4:04] Speaker 2: up past oak Ridge, past Huckleberry Flats and whatever that
[4:10] Speaker 2: lake is in that direction, there's a spot on Google
[4:14] Speaker 2: Maps where you go to look and there's just a
[4:16] Speaker 2: big square that's kind of just wided out, the thirty
[4:20] Speaker 2: plus mile kind of square. That's doesn't have any satellite,
[4:27] Speaker 2: you know, terrain information about it at all. And apparently
[4:34] Speaker 2: there once on a time you used to be able
[4:36] Speaker 2: to drive out there. There's you know, some hot springs
[4:38] Speaker 2: around that area and stuff too, and there's this this
[4:43] Speaker 2: crack in the earth that just opens up super narrow
[4:47] Speaker 2: up top from like six inches to maybe a couple feet, but.
[4:51] Speaker 1: It's so deep.
[4:53] Speaker 2: There's people that's that's try to make it to the
[4:58] Speaker 2: bottom that just never came and back like with climbing equipment,
[5:01] Speaker 2: you know, putting a beam across and and trying to
[5:05] Speaker 2: repel down. And I've just the stories I've heard from
[5:11] Speaker 2: from that area, and it's been closed off I guess
[5:14] Speaker 2: since the mid nineties.
[5:19] Speaker 1: I know I've heard of this. It's called uh is
[5:23] Speaker 1: it called hellhole too or crack in the ground. Yes, No,
[5:26] Speaker 1: that's something different.
[5:28] Speaker 2: So there's a couple of names that it's gone by.
[5:32] Speaker 2: Uh the crack in the ground sounds that sounds like
[5:36] Speaker 2: something I've heard people say.
[5:39] Speaker 1: But no, no, that's over by Christmas Valley. I think
[5:44] Speaker 1: that's right.
[5:44] Speaker 2: That's why it sounds familiar.
[5:46] Speaker 1: That is in Christmas Valley. You're right, Yeah, I think
[5:49] Speaker 1: it's called hell I've hold. I've told I've had some
[5:52] Speaker 1: friends tell me about it, and they I think they've
[5:54] Speaker 1: called it hellhole because a lot of people have actually
[5:57] Speaker 1: gotten seriously hurt in.
[5:58] Speaker 2: That oh yeah, just swallowed up, gone like beyond the
[6:05] Speaker 2: beyond the ability to make it to the bottom. You know,
[6:09] Speaker 2: People's tried dropping down cameras and and whatever else, and
[6:15] Speaker 2: a lot of weird stuff happens out in that area.
[6:17] Speaker 2: And as of now, the last time that I was
[6:22] Speaker 2: going out there with a couple of friends, we're riding
[6:24] Speaker 2: motorcycles trying to make it out towards that area, and
[6:29] Speaker 2: there's a pretty significant perimeter that they have up and
[6:34] Speaker 2: there's just claims that it's like under military operation, like
[6:39] Speaker 2: a kind of like a base essentially, but there's not
[6:42] Speaker 2: a whole lot of information about it.
[6:44] Speaker 3: We were kind of chuckling underneath their breath, so I
[6:47] Speaker 3: was like, I'm going to clap because I heard you know,
[6:49] Speaker 3: we're gonna if you clap, you So I clap, and
[6:52] Speaker 3: I'm not kidding it. Response clap came back about seventy
[6:58] Speaker 3: five to one hundred feet into the swamp, like probably
[7:02] Speaker 3: knee deep water to you know, towards our right right
[7:06] Speaker 3: from that section. So immediately Goosebomp's hair went on both
[7:11] Speaker 3: of our arms, like we couldn't believe it. I clapped twice.
[7:15] Speaker 3: It clapped twice, and I clapped three times. That never
[7:18] Speaker 3: responded again. That was one counter in this certain area.
[7:21] Speaker 3: I've had another counter in this area as well, but
[7:24] Speaker 3: that was the significant one where no one's out there.
[7:27] Speaker 3: We didn't see a single car. You're typing thousands of miles.
[7:31] Speaker 3: I don't want to give the exact location away because
[7:33] Speaker 3: I have had many weird encounters and other people have
[7:36] Speaker 3: claimed to have encounters twenty years ago, ten years ago. Okay,
[7:42] Speaker 3: I don't want anyone kind of going out there. But
[7:44] Speaker 3: that's that's the story of it.
[7:47] Speaker 1: Actually, that's one of the things I love that that detail.
[7:56] Speaker 1: It comes up a bit in interviews i've done. I've
[7:59] Speaker 1: even had a person that told me in Northern Georgia,
[8:05] Speaker 1: they did, do you know there's like the clap clap,
[8:12] Speaker 1: and then at the end it goes clap clap that one.
[8:16] Speaker 1: They it's like an old thing from movies. They did
[8:20] Speaker 1: that and then something responded back with that at the end.
[8:26] Speaker 1: So was there any weird smells out there?
[8:31] Speaker 3: So when we got to the dead end where we
[8:33] Speaker 3: couldn't walk anymore. I mean, we were going to keep going,
[8:36] Speaker 3: but it's like I said, the swamp started taking over.
[8:39] Speaker 3: We weren't prepared for that. It was all dry, you know,
[8:42] Speaker 3: we're fishing the river bed following it, so it's only
[8:45] Speaker 3: ten feet wide, and it's going and snaked like you know,
[8:48] Speaker 3: motions all the way back. And then it started getting swamps,
[8:51] Speaker 3: so we weren't prepared for it. We did started smelling
[8:55] Speaker 3: something prior, but it you know, people say skunk or whatever.
[9:00] Speaker 3: It was a musky smell. We contributed at the time
[9:05] Speaker 3: as just a swamp, you know, because we started really
[9:09] Speaker 3: getting into some nasty stuff and we were making a
[9:12] Speaker 3: joke when you know, when it charged us, you felt
[9:16] Speaker 3: the vibration in the ground it it fell, we could
[9:19] Speaker 3: feel in our bones like it was no. I didn't
[9:23] Speaker 3: even look at my buddy. We were in the mid
[9:25] Speaker 3: cast fishing, and the vibration and the breaking of the
[9:29] Speaker 3: branches and tree, I mean, it was so much force
[9:32] Speaker 3: that we didn't even we didn't even look. I just
[9:35] Speaker 3: immediately started running. I broke my pull and my buddy
[9:38] Speaker 3: started running, and we ran so far until we were
[9:42] Speaker 3: our lungs were burning. That's when we slowly walked back.
[9:46] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, can you do you mind sharing the
[9:50] Speaker 1: other thing that you had happen in there? Even though
[9:53] Speaker 1: you said it, it wasn't so the wasn't too crazy.
[9:57] Speaker 3: But yeah. So the second and the second weird thing
[10:00] Speaker 3: that I can't explain is we were in the We
[10:04] Speaker 3: were in that same area. We love to drive through
[10:07] Speaker 3: this area at night, so it's a little giveaway if
[10:10] Speaker 3: people can find a wildlife management open. That's twenty four
[10:13] Speaker 3: to seven and it was probably two three am. We
[10:17] Speaker 3: like taking night drives out there every now and then.
[10:20] Speaker 3: And it was we were coming around this bin and
[10:24] Speaker 3: there's a river bed on each side and there's just
[10:27] Speaker 3: a little rock way like a little tunnel that kind
[10:30] Speaker 3: of drive like a little bridge. And I stopped there
[10:34] Speaker 3: and the car was still on The car was still
[10:37] Speaker 3: in drive, and we took out our flashlights and we're
[10:41] Speaker 3: looking in the water on each side of the vehicle
[10:43] Speaker 3: because the water dropped straight down. We were looking for snakes,
[10:46] Speaker 3: you know, anything fun whatever, and this branch broke behind
[10:52] Speaker 3: us and it hit almost the back of my vehicle.
[10:57] Speaker 3: And I could tell it was a branch because the
[10:59] Speaker 3: way it sounded that you can hear the snap of
[11:02] Speaker 3: this tree lamb, and then this massive thump to where
[11:05] Speaker 3: the back of our car moved. It was some type
[11:09] Speaker 3: of animal or person, and then we felt the footsteps boom.
[11:14] Speaker 3: I mean my head was still out the window when
[11:17] Speaker 3: I floored the car. I didn't even have enough reaction
[11:20] Speaker 3: time to put my head back into the vehicle because
[11:24] Speaker 3: I had the flashlight out and whatever it was we were,
[11:29] Speaker 3: I told my wife and my friend to turn the
[11:33] Speaker 3: flashlight around while we were driving. They were so mortified,
[11:37] Speaker 3: did even want to stick their hand or or or
[11:40] Speaker 3: hands or head out the window to look behind us.
[11:42] Speaker 3: Why we were I mean it's only probably ten fifteen
[11:45] Speaker 3: mile an hour speed limit toward these rocky areas, but
[11:49] Speaker 3: I was booking fifty sixty. I mean, we were terrified.
[11:53] Speaker 2: When I get the lights back on, I look ahead,
[11:56] Speaker 2: maybe sixty feet in front of me, and there were
[12:00] Speaker 2: a salamander that's so big that it's taking up most
[12:05] Speaker 2: of the two lanes.
[12:06] Speaker 1: Of that road. And it was huge, dude.
[12:10] Speaker 2: It had like and it had like this huge red
[12:13] Speaker 2: like thing looked almost like a dragon, and I was like,
[12:18] Speaker 2: I couldn't it took me a second to realize what
[12:21] Speaker 2: I was looking at. And the thing was just massive salamander,
[12:25] Speaker 2: no mistaking. And the thing just wandered across the road
[12:29] Speaker 2: and went down down to the creek there.
[12:35] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, how how long would you estimate that
[12:38] Speaker 1: it was?
[12:40] Speaker 2: It had to be a better part of like eight feet. Man,
[12:44] Speaker 2: the thing was gigantic. It's uh. I wouldn't have wanted
[12:49] Speaker 2: to get close to it. The thing was big enough,
[12:51] Speaker 2: I think to be.
[12:53] Speaker 1: To be a worry to be concerned about, you know, yeah, yeah, like.
[13:01] Speaker 2: I've never seen.
[13:03] Speaker 1: I've never seen.
[13:03] Speaker 2: You know, I've seen some pretty big ones that a
[13:06] Speaker 2: foot and a half, you know, almost two feet, but
[13:10] Speaker 2: this thing being almost two lanes that is a that
[13:14] Speaker 2: is a big creature coming up out of the water
[13:18] Speaker 2: on the land. Oh my god, some some type of
[13:21] Speaker 2: like some type of like river deity or something. Man,
[13:26] Speaker 2: it was wild. It is probably one of the most
[13:27] Speaker 2: coolest things that I've seen.
[13:32] Speaker 1: No, absolutely, man, Can I ask you one more question
[13:36] Speaker 1: and then I'll let you go. I apologize, all right,
[13:38] Speaker 1: I just got I got so many questions for you. Uh.
[13:42] Speaker 1: One area that a lot of people have I've talked
[13:46] Speaker 1: to off record that won't go on the podcast. I'm
[13:53] Speaker 1: trying to remember what the name of it. It's the
[13:55] Speaker 1: area like you're in oak Ridge, but then you drive
[13:58] Speaker 1: up north up into the hills west first, well it's
[14:05] Speaker 1: it's like Westford, but it's in Oakridge. It's called High Prairie.
[14:09] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, High Prairie.
[14:11] Speaker 1: Of course. Have you heard of stuff happening up there too?
[14:16] Speaker 2: Uh So there's like the famous properties up there that
[14:23] Speaker 2: are renowned for just high levels of paranormal stuff.
[14:30] Speaker 1: Oh, you got to tell me about this. I haven't
[14:31] Speaker 1: heard anything about this yet.
[14:33] Speaker 2: Oh man, I I I would have, so I would.
[14:38] Speaker 2: I need to would converse with with my buddies and
[14:41] Speaker 2: and get some things straight, and I could come back
[14:44] Speaker 2: another day and and give you actual accounts from these people.
[14:50] Speaker 1: Wow.
[14:51] Speaker 2: But uh yeah uh. And I also have some pictures
[14:56] Speaker 2: from up there too of this property that my girlfriend
[15:02] Speaker 2: now as she took when she was younger doing photographing
[15:06] Speaker 2: and stuff and didn't even realize what she caught. But
[15:09] Speaker 2: in multiple pictures, she has these really awesome images of
[15:16] Speaker 2: this lady standing up second story window. It's really really neat.
[15:24] Speaker 1: Oh so, probably like a ghost or something like that.
