[0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Big for Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
[0:03] Speaker 1: In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to
[0:05] Speaker 1: bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've
[0:08] Speaker 1: seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers
[0:12] Speaker 1: to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: So stay with us, all right, Big for Society. You've
[0:32] Speaker 1: got the privilege of talking to Greg from the Cryptozoology
[0:35] Speaker 1: YouTube channel today and that's with a k at the beginning.
[0:38] Speaker 1: We'll have that linked in the show notes for sure.
[0:40] Speaker 1: Greg is a documentary filmmaker from Pennsylvania. He's got a
[0:44] Speaker 1: degree in Electronic media and film and he's also a
[0:48] Speaker 1: member of the Screen Actors Guild, which is pretty cool,
[0:51] Speaker 1: and he's been documenting his Bigfoot related experiences all around
[0:56] Speaker 1: the mid Atlantic region. I've been wanting to have Greg
[0:58] Speaker 1: on the show for a while. We're finally able to
[1:01] Speaker 1: get him on the show.
[1:02] Speaker 2: Today.
[1:02] Speaker 1: So how are you doing today, Greg?
[1:04] Speaker 2: Oh great, Jeremy, I thank you so much for having
[1:06] Speaker 2: me on. Absolutely, yeah, I guess I guess I'll just
[1:11] Speaker 2: start in a West Virginia. That's kind of where actually
[1:14] Speaker 2: I had my first experience, uh a number of years ago.
[1:18] Speaker 2: And this is actually before I was really even into
[1:21] Speaker 2: cryptozoology or anything of the like. And I was actually
[1:25] Speaker 2: I was visiting a friend out in like I said,
[1:27] Speaker 2: like the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, and so I
[1:31] Speaker 2: was coming back and this deer cut cut in front
[1:35] Speaker 2: of me, and it was really bizarre just because like
[1:38] Speaker 2: I've driven you know, you know, thousands of miles of
[1:40] Speaker 2: back roads and never never really had too many you
[1:43] Speaker 2: know deer, you know, wild turkey kind of cut out
[1:46] Speaker 2: in front of me, and you know the so the
[1:50] Speaker 2: deer crosses the road and then uh, there's there's a
[1:54] Speaker 2: predator following it and it had it looked like it
[1:58] Speaker 2: was like a dog like like just like almost looked
[2:03] Speaker 2: like a wild dog. And so I really kind of
[2:06] Speaker 2: you know, looked into this subject and it's I know,
[2:10] Speaker 2: it's kind of crazy, but there's actually been hyena sightings
[2:15] Speaker 2: like in North America, and I I kind of I
[2:20] Speaker 2: looked into this and there's there's actually like Hyaena sightings
[2:24] Speaker 2: in like West Virginia a lot, and it because it
[2:27] Speaker 2: didn't really fit into that category of being a dog
[2:31] Speaker 2: or like a coyote or a wolf, and it just
[2:34] Speaker 2: had these like large, like large haunches and it looked
[2:38] Speaker 2: at me and then just continued to pursue the deer.
[2:43] Speaker 2: And I had always had, like, you know, some interest
[2:46] Speaker 2: in you know the macabre, you know, with like Arthur C.
[2:49] Speaker 2: Clark's and a serious world and so on, you know,
[2:52] Speaker 2: watching that back in the nineties when I was a kid,
[2:54] Speaker 2: and to really to have something like so weird like
[2:58] Speaker 2: dash out in front of me, it really kind of
[3:00] Speaker 2: changed my whole like paradigm for you know, what what's
[3:04] Speaker 2: possible and what can exist. And so I did like
[3:07] Speaker 2: a little bit of research. And I'm not sure if
[3:09] Speaker 2: you're familiar with it. It's called the shunka wall rackn Yes,
[3:14] Speaker 2: in yes, yeah, yeah, that's in like I believe Montana,
[3:18] Speaker 2: like out towards you know, more like the Pacific Northwest,
[3:22] Speaker 2: and you know, it was it was known as like
[3:24] Speaker 2: a predator that carried carried off dogs like that was
[3:28] Speaker 2: kind of the nickname for it, and having having seen
[3:32] Speaker 2: this thing really kind of you know, blew my mind
[3:36] Speaker 2: like that, like what, you know, what is what is
[3:39] Speaker 2: happening out here? This This was like maybe like two
[3:42] Speaker 2: thousand and eight, and so I really didn't have like
[3:45] Speaker 2: that developed of an interest in cryptozoology. And it wasn't
[3:49] Speaker 2: really untill like almost like the twenty tens with like
[3:52] Speaker 2: you know, finding Bigfoot and like things like that and
[3:56] Speaker 2: kind of Sasquatch you know, chronicles like you know, kind
[3:59] Speaker 2: of blowing up. I was like, oh, okay, this is
[4:01] Speaker 2: subject is like kind of kind of interesting. And so
[4:05] Speaker 2: I had my I actually had some experiences in Maryland.
[4:10] Speaker 2: I actually I used to live in Maryland for moving
[4:12] Speaker 2: back to PA. And so there's the in Maryland, there's
[4:17] Speaker 2: the goat Man. That's the that's kind of like you know,
[4:21] Speaker 2: I lived like near like you know, kind of southern
[4:23] Speaker 2: near Napolis, Maryland, and that's like a really really famous
[4:28] Speaker 2: you know area for you know, sightings of the goat man.
[4:33] Speaker 2: And you know, really I looked into the whole area
[4:36] Speaker 2: and actually the whole that Governor's Bridge Road right now
[4:39] Speaker 2: is actually shut down and it's been like repeatedly shut
[4:42] Speaker 2: down and you know, first time, I believe it was
[4:46] Speaker 2: like the bridge actually just got washed out. But the
[4:49] Speaker 2: second time, like a like a tractor trailer like was
[4:52] Speaker 2: trying to get through there, like they rebuilt the bridge
[4:54] Speaker 2: and everything and so and it's still been shut down
[4:57] Speaker 2: so like all along there for like the past ten
[5:00] Speaker 2: or fifteen years, you know, where where Goatman is like
[5:03] Speaker 2: reportedly like the sightings, it's all been shut down for
[5:06] Speaker 2: like almost like two decades, which is like super crazy.
[5:11] Speaker 2: And so I I have a friend and so she
[5:15] Speaker 2: actually kind of like lives over in that area, and
[5:20] Speaker 2: she so we were like camp kind of camping outside
[5:22] Speaker 2: that type of thing, and like it was it just
[5:27] Speaker 2: it's it started to rain right like it So it
[5:29] Speaker 2: was like a normal, normal night and then like out
[5:34] Speaker 2: of nowhere, this like large like sigh like came came
[5:40] Speaker 2: from the woods. Like you know, it just it was
[5:43] Speaker 2: like someone like a like a giant like almost like
[5:45] Speaker 2: a like a like a bear or something. But there's
[5:48] Speaker 2: absolutely there's no bears that are in like in this
[5:52] Speaker 2: area in like southern Maryland, like they've been like extirpated
[5:56] Speaker 2: for like decades, and and so so like you know,
[6:00] Speaker 2: I talked around to her neighbors, and yeah, the neighbors
[6:04] Speaker 2: said that you know, they uh they saw like red
[6:08] Speaker 2: eyes at eight eight feet in the in the area,
[6:12] Speaker 2: and like also that a neighbor said that, you know,
[6:17] Speaker 2: they there was a goose that actually got caught in
[6:20] Speaker 2: her fence and she heard these like large footsteps like
[6:25] Speaker 2: like bound across the area and and it grabbed that
[6:30] Speaker 2: that goose that was like stuck in the fence. And
[6:34] Speaker 2: another another person she reported that there was you know,
[6:37] Speaker 2: she felt like she was being like there's there's like
[6:39] Speaker 2: fishing spots down there, and and she felt like there
[6:43] Speaker 2: was she was being followed, and she had this really
[6:46] Speaker 2: creepy feeling like it was a real, real, real bizarre
[6:49] Speaker 2: experience for her. And so that in terms of that area,
[6:54] Speaker 2: you know, I feel like a lot of people are
[6:57] Speaker 2: kind of like mislabeling you know, goat man and and
[7:00] Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, like that's that's like a
[7:02] Speaker 2: common occurrence, you know, in terms of like the same
[7:05] Speaker 2: you know, the Jersey Devil and things like that, like
[7:09] Speaker 2: people just put like a different name like a local
[7:14] Speaker 2: colloquialism for uh, you know, for Bigfoot. And I think
[7:18] Speaker 2: in Maryland, like you know, Bigfoot can really just be
[7:21] Speaker 2: called like goat man. So I guess to keep keep
[7:26] Speaker 2: on moving on, you know, with with my experiences in Maryland.
[7:30] Speaker 2: There's there's a really amazing park it's called Calvert Cliffs
[7:35] Speaker 2: and that's that's that. That's more. That's more in southern
[7:40] Speaker 2: Maryland also, and my daughter and I were actually we
[7:43] Speaker 2: would visit there. This you know, this this is still
[7:46] Speaker 2: kind of like before you know, I was really doing
[7:49] Speaker 2: anything with like you know, cryptozoology or anything of the like.
[7:52] Speaker 2: And you know, we were walking like through the park
[7:56] Speaker 2: and it was it was like a weird time because
[7:58] Speaker 2: like most people already gone back to school, so it
[8:01] Speaker 2: was like it was like early like late fall and
[8:04] Speaker 2: I'm sorry early fall like late summer. And there was
[8:08] Speaker 2: like a porter potty there and I it was it's
[8:12] Speaker 2: a long walk. Like Calvert Cliffs is known for its
[8:15] Speaker 2: like shark teeth, its fossils, so it's like a real
[8:19] Speaker 2: like really unique area. And so we're walking back and uh,
[8:25] Speaker 2: you know, I had to stop and use there's like
[8:27] Speaker 2: a porter potty there, and you know that you know,
[8:30] Speaker 2: they had that usually like porter potties have those like
[8:32] Speaker 2: spring loaded like doors, and it as soon as like
[8:38] Speaker 2: that happened. We had a response like across this bog
[8:42] Speaker 2: of like two knocks, like two wood knocks, and it
[8:45] Speaker 2: was like this it was just like the strangest, strangest
[8:48] Speaker 2: thing that's like ever happened to us. And like even
[8:50] Speaker 2: even my daughter like looked at me and was like,
[8:52] Speaker 2: you know, what is that? Right? It was just like really,
[8:55] Speaker 2: you know, kind of like bizarre, bizarre experience. And I
[9:00] Speaker 2: guess also with Maryland also, like there's also I guess
[9:04] Speaker 2: in terms of cryptozoology in general, there's plenty of Chessea
[9:08] Speaker 2: sightings like in the area, So Chessa is basically kind
[9:12] Speaker 2: of like you know, the Locke Monster of the Chesapeake
[9:14] Speaker 2: Bay and what I've what I've discovered, Like you know,
[9:19] Speaker 2: there's there's been local sightings like Tapsco I'm sorry, Fort
[9:24] Speaker 2: Smallwood State Park and that's on the Potapsco that's on
[9:28] Speaker 2: the Potapsco River. And then also uh near like more
[9:33] Speaker 2: near the Magothee River, which is like kind of more
[9:37] Speaker 2: southernly Maryland, and you know there's there's been report like
[9:41] Speaker 2: report sightings, not necessarily like on the eastern or I'm sorry,
[9:44] Speaker 2: the western shore of Maryland, but like further south, like
[9:48] Speaker 2: more towards like the Potomac and of like baby like
[9:52] Speaker 2: kind of like estuary baby chessea sightings, which is really
[9:56] Speaker 2: like really wild, just thinking that like, you know, these
[9:59] Speaker 2: things are you developing like in you know, like a
[10:04] Speaker 2: estuary somewhere of you know, of you know, the United States.
[10:09] Speaker 2: So that's that's just basically my time in Maryland when
[10:13] Speaker 2: I saw and there's also been report sightings like near Antietam,
[10:17] Speaker 2: and I've been thinking about going out out there just
[10:19] Speaker 2: to kind of explore, you know, what's what's kind of
[10:23] Speaker 2: the situation out there. I guess moving moving on the
[10:27] Speaker 2: like Pennsylvania, I mean I feel like p A. P
[10:31] Speaker 2: A is just this large, you know, crazy tract of
[10:35] Speaker 2: land with uh basically has like four four million acres
[10:39] Speaker 2: of like public land that are really you know that
[10:44] Speaker 2: gets really wild out there. And it's it's sometimes when
[10:47] Speaker 2: you're in like you know, Sproul State Forests and Susquehanna
[10:51] Speaker 2: State Forest, like you're it's not like you're standing on
[10:54] Speaker 2: a mountain by yourself. You're standing basically like on a
[10:57] Speaker 2: on like a mountain ridge by yourself. And so so basically,
[11:04] Speaker 2: you know, having originally been from Pa growing up here,
[11:08] Speaker 2: that area kind of like north of like State College,
[11:12] Speaker 2: PA was always just kind of like a mystery to me.
[11:15] Speaker 2: And in addition to you know, basically there's two point
[11:18] Speaker 2: two million acres of state forests in PA. There's about
[11:23] Speaker 2: one and a half million acres of game lands, and
[11:27] Speaker 2: there's three hundred thousand acres of state parks, and then
[11:32] Speaker 2: you know, half a million acres for the Allegay National Forest.
[11:35] Speaker 2: So you're talking about almost like four million, four million
[11:38] Speaker 2: acres that you know, people can really get lost in.
[11:43] Speaker 2: And it's it's almost basically, you know, my research area
[11:46] Speaker 2: is almost basically the size of Connecticut with the population
[11:49] Speaker 2: of like you know, maybe fifth you know, fifty thousand
[11:54] Speaker 2: people or something. I mean, really nobody lives like in
[11:57] Speaker 2: these areas. It's probably even less than that. And so
[12:01] Speaker 2: basically with the state game lands in Pennsylvania, i mean,
[12:04] Speaker 2: the hunting seasons like so small that so for three
[12:08] Speaker 2: cores three cours of the year, you know, basically these
[12:12] Speaker 2: like state game lands are just completely like unoccupied. And
[12:18] Speaker 2: I've learned that like a lot of I mean even
[12:21] Speaker 2: more recently there's been sightings out of the area near
[12:24] Speaker 2: near State College that believe it's the state game lands
[12:28] Speaker 2: like three p thirty three and they you know, there's
[12:32] Speaker 2: been reword settings of a big foot near a fish estuary.
[12:39] Speaker 2: So basically, I guess the past maybe two years or so.
[12:43] Speaker 2: Really since twenty twenty three, that's when you know, I
[12:46] Speaker 2: really kind of got my got my channel together because
[12:49] Speaker 2: I was kind of getting h I was getting headaches
[12:51] Speaker 2: from watching people you know, on YouTube use their use
[12:54] Speaker 2: their camera phone to uh to make you know, like
[12:59] Speaker 2: crypto Crypto's woldy videos. And I thought I could kind
[13:02] Speaker 2: of just give it a little bit more of a
[13:04] Speaker 2: kind of finished product. So I guess really where I
[13:08] Speaker 2: started was in this little town called cross Forks, PA.
[13:13] Speaker 2: So cross Forks, PA, that's that's near the Hammersley Wild Area,
[13:17] Speaker 2: which is like basically the largest area in PA that
[13:21] Speaker 2: that has no roads. So it's about like fifty fifty
[13:25] Speaker 2: square miles of no roads that you can you know,
[13:28] Speaker 2: just really enjoy yourself and kind of you know, these
[13:31] Speaker 2: real backcountry trails that you know, you're not really interrupted
[13:37] Speaker 2: in and you know there's there's timber, rattlesnakes, and also
[13:42] Speaker 2: in this area. Back in the I think it was
[13:44] Speaker 2: the nineteen twenties, after the last Woodland elk was actually
[13:50] Speaker 2: shot in PA. They were imported from Colorado. So there's
[13:56] Speaker 2: actually a heard of like fourteen hundred elk in north
[13:58] Speaker 2: central PA. And you know, so a lot of them
[14:01] Speaker 2: go to like these different wild areas that you know,
[14:04] Speaker 2: are not particularly populated or don't don't have many visitors too.
[14:11] Speaker 2: And so because I went to the Hamardsley Wild Area,
[14:15] Speaker 2: it was it was just a good experience and kind
[14:17] Speaker 2: of like you know, learning how to make like a
[14:19] Speaker 2: proper narrative, like you know, I mean the first couple
[14:22] Speaker 2: of videos I made, I like I literally got like
[14:24] Speaker 2: lost in the woods and like I was still trying
[14:27] Speaker 2: to get my bearings. And I feel like now I
[14:29] Speaker 2: have a little bit more of a better better understanding of,
[14:33] Speaker 2: you know, how how to you know, kind of shoot
[14:35] Speaker 2: a video but not not get lost. So so since
[14:42] Speaker 2: so since I was in Sporal and State Farest there's
[14:46] Speaker 2: you know, these areas they're like I said, they're really
[14:50] Speaker 2: you know, super rural. You know, Pas the only state.
[14:54] Speaker 2: You know, PA's number three in terms of public land size,
[14:58] Speaker 2: so only behind like Alaska and California. So you know,
[15:03] Speaker 2: really when you go out to these areas, it's not
[15:05] Speaker 2: even necessarily that you're just kind of worrying about like
[15:09] Speaker 2: being within you know, the public state game lands or
[15:12] Speaker 2: things like that, because there's a lot of private clubs
[15:15] Speaker 2: up there too, which account for like large large swaths
[15:20] Speaker 2: of area. And really, I guess, you know, my my
[15:25] Speaker 2: most it's called a Ricketts Glen. That's that's that's one
[15:29] Speaker 2: of my most famous videos, and it's where I kind
[15:31] Speaker 2: of started, uh you know, with my channel. And basically
[15:36] Speaker 2: I went to the I went to like the visitor
[15:38] Speaker 2: center because I was actually I was going to camp
[15:39] Speaker 2: in the park that night. And you know, I see
[15:42] Speaker 2: this like you know, magnet hanging up that says, you
[15:45] Speaker 2: know that uh there's gonna there's you know, Bigfoot might
[15:50] Speaker 2: actually find you or something at uh at Ricketts Glen
[15:55] Speaker 2: State State Park. You know. So it's like there's like
[15:57] Speaker 2: a PA state government, you know, just uh you know
[16:02] Speaker 2: magnet that that that approves that, like, you know, Bigfoot exists,
[16:06] Speaker 2: you know. So I asked, I asked the visitor center,
[16:11] Speaker 2: you know, lady there, and she said that like, yeah,
[16:14] Speaker 2: there had been a reported Sasquatch nest in Rickets Glen,
[16:19] Speaker 2: and you know, I basically it was like almost like
[16:21] Speaker 2: a four mile trek through there, and I mean I
[16:24] Speaker 2: saw like kind of like a low, low lying like
[16:28] Speaker 2: tree that had like kind of like a i don't know,
[16:31] Speaker 2: like a reinforced like lower limb, but nothing I saw that,
[16:36] Speaker 2: you know, kind of really said that there was like
[16:39] Speaker 2: a nest in the area. But it just really I
[16:42] Speaker 2: just found it really curious that like, yeah, there's like
[16:44] Speaker 2: a state sponsored like a magnet that said, you know,
[16:48] Speaker 2: you might you might view you know, looking for Bigfoot
[16:52] Speaker 2: at rickets Gun State Park. And that just really blew
[16:54] Speaker 2: my mind. And so I've also been to there's uh
[17:00] Speaker 2: like World's World's End State Park, which is uh that's
[17:05] Speaker 2: that's also a North Central PA and there were there
[17:10] Speaker 2: there have been sightings in the area. But I think
[17:13] Speaker 2: the crazy part about that area is that there's like
[17:16] Speaker 2: a it's almost like a plateau to it. And unfortunately,
[17:19] Speaker 2: like I haven't gotten a drone yet, which I which
[17:21] Speaker 2: I need to do, and I wish, I wish at
[17:24] Speaker 2: the time I had a drone because like this plateau
[17:26] Speaker 2: that's like above you know, where you know, most most
[17:29] Speaker 2: of the people are that really like anything could be
[17:34] Speaker 2: hiding up there, and it kind of has almost like
[17:36] Speaker 2: these like cliff edge edges to it. It's it's basically
[17:40] Speaker 2: where like kind of the Susquehanna River you know, kind
[17:42] Speaker 2: of bled in through the Allegheny Plateau and yes, which
[17:48] Speaker 2: is yeah, so it's really difficult to climb up these cliffs.
[17:52] Speaker 2: I'm definitely next time to go there, I'm gonna definitely
[17:55] Speaker 2: have a drone to like try and get up into
[17:57] Speaker 2: these areas. And I guess my other video that I
[18:04] Speaker 2: thought kind of peaued you know, the public's interest was
[18:07] Speaker 2: I came across these like ice footprints at the like
[18:11] Speaker 2: the PA the Pa Grand area area, and it was
[18:17] Speaker 2: it was just so so odd because it was like
[18:19] Speaker 2: late it was like late December, and you know, I
[18:21] Speaker 2: don't know if a bear would still be like, you know,
[18:25] Speaker 2: even up because like these these prints just like you
[18:29] Speaker 2: could see the toes and like it just even if
[18:33] Speaker 2: it was like a black bear double step, like, I
[18:36] Speaker 2: don't know if it if it could be possible for
[18:39] Speaker 2: it to be like as big as it was. So
[18:44] Speaker 2: it's you know, like I said, it's in my catalog.
[18:46] Speaker 2: It's a catalog of video. If people want to check.
[18:48] Speaker 1: It out, can I can I ask for clarification for
[18:52] Speaker 1: something for a minute.
[18:53] Speaker 2: That happened in right, yeah, exactly. It it's called the
[18:58] Speaker 2: Barber Barber Rock Trail. So it's on the north like
[19:02] Speaker 2: the north end of the park there, and so I
[19:09] Speaker 2: I shot up the video there, but I also shot
[19:11] Speaker 2: U there's there's another there's another park on the on
[19:16] Speaker 2: the where of the south end, and that was I
[19:20] Speaker 2: had a little bit of like a smell in that area.
[19:23] Speaker 2: And this is like I said, this is this was
[19:24] Speaker 2: like twenty twenty three, you know, around Christmas time. There's
[19:28] Speaker 2: there's absolutely nobody like nobody in the park. There's called
[19:32] Speaker 2: Colton Point State Park. That's the that's that's the more
[19:35] Speaker 2: southerly state park in in in in the Pine Creek
[19:40] Speaker 2: in the Pie Grand Canyon area. And but but the
[19:44] Speaker 2: footprint was was really of course I had just gotten
[19:47] Speaker 2: a new a new camera and it has like a
[19:51] Speaker 2: building gimbal with it and to like kind of stabilize
[19:55] Speaker 2: the image, and so I was still like learning how
[19:57] Speaker 2: to like properly like you know, filmed downwards with it,
[20:02] Speaker 2: because it tries to like stay to like the horizon
[20:06] Speaker 2: with with with gimbals just to try and like level
[20:08] Speaker 2: out the But I got most I got most of
[20:11] Speaker 2: the you know, of the image of the footprint, and
[20:16] Speaker 2: and there was about like a four it was almost
[20:18] Speaker 2: like a four foot span between you know, the footprints,
[20:23] Speaker 2: and they were sixteen inches long and then about like
[20:27] Speaker 2: I think it was about like five or six inches wide.
[20:32] Speaker 2: So and I know like black bears in North central
[20:35] Speaker 2: PA have actually they've actually shot black bears that are
[20:39] Speaker 2: eight hundred pounds, so like you have to which are
[20:43] Speaker 2: basically the size of grizzly bears, right, So you have
[20:45] Speaker 2: to be you have to be real careful with like understanding,
[20:49] Speaker 2: you know, kind of what you're what you're seeing. And
[20:53] Speaker 2: I was actually I was blessed enough to actually communicate
[20:56] Speaker 2: with doctor Jeff Malderum before he passed about about the
[21:01] Speaker 2: ice ice footprint, and you know, I send them the
[21:05] Speaker 2: images and uh, you know, he always told me to cash,
[21:09] Speaker 2: you know, err on the side of caution. And unfortunately,
[21:13] Speaker 2: like I didn't really have a I didn't make a
[21:15] Speaker 2: cast of it, Like I didn't have any like uh,
[21:18] Speaker 2: I didn't have any you know, flaster of Paris or
[21:21] Speaker 2: I was actually trying to get into like possibly having
[21:23] Speaker 2: like like a three D like image scanner for things.
[21:27] Speaker 2: But I'm still I'm still working on that right now,
[21:30] Speaker 2: but at least at least I had my my tape
[21:32] Speaker 2: measure with me to like kind of properly, like you know,
[21:36] Speaker 2: properly you measure things out just because you know, like
[21:40] Speaker 2: on camera, like you have to, like you have to
[21:43] Speaker 2: present some type of like standard, you know, with like
[21:46] Speaker 2: a tape measure too, you know, to really like you know,
[21:50] Speaker 2: kind of be like a litmus test for like what
[21:52] Speaker 2: what the size of something is? You know, you can't
[21:55] Speaker 2: because the human eye is like so so good at
[21:57] Speaker 2: like you know, auto auto apturing things that like, you know,
[22:01] Speaker 2: people one thing people don't realize with film is that
[22:04] Speaker 2: you know, and that's why I shoot most of my
[22:07] Speaker 2: stuff during the daytime, just because I mean if you
[22:11] Speaker 2: look at like the Paul Freeman you'll get the Pat
[22:13] Speaker 2: Patterson Gimlin films, Like they were all both during the daytime.
[22:17] Speaker 2: So it's like I feel like, if there's ever going
[22:19] Speaker 2: to be like another like any footage of this thing,
[22:23] Speaker 2: it's going to be during the daytime because like I know,
[22:26] Speaker 2: there's thermals out there, but like I feel like having
[22:29] Speaker 2: a daytime slighting with with that you know, proper resolution
[22:33] Speaker 2: to actually like see the creature. I think that'll hopefully
[22:37] Speaker 2: lend more credence to like, you know, to it being
[22:40] Speaker 2: like a like a real, real you know animal that
[22:45] Speaker 2: that hopefully gets recognized. So I think having gone from
[22:51] Speaker 2: like Ricketts Glenn Uh, I'm sorry, the pi a Grand Canyon,
[22:57] Speaker 2: I you know, I've also been to, like I said,
[23:00] Speaker 2: north Central PA, which has the Susquehannack Uh State Forests
[23:05] Speaker 2: and the Sprawl State Forest, which kind of like merge
[23:07] Speaker 2: into like their own like national for stuff there. And
[23:13] Speaker 2: so basically I would I would go to like old
[23:15] Speaker 2: like hunting lodges just to like speak to, you know,
[23:19] Speaker 2: like the locals, just see if like if there's any
[23:22] Speaker 2: like just just anything, you know, and just be like, oh,
[23:25] Speaker 2: you know, like because you know I was, I would
[23:27] Speaker 2: kind of stick out like a sore thumb, you know,
[23:29] Speaker 2: not really like a like a big kind of hunting guy,
[23:32] Speaker 2: you know, and like you know, I'm not really wearing
[23:35] Speaker 2: camo or anything. And you know, and I respect hunters.
[23:39] Speaker 2: I love hunters. They're they're wonderful. They're the only people
[23:41] Speaker 2: I see when I'm when I'm looking for bigfoot, and uh,
[23:45] Speaker 2: and so you know, I just kind of like, you know, shoot,
[23:47] Speaker 2: to shoot with them, and they would always tell me,
[23:51] Speaker 2: you know, I had a I had a bartender who
[23:53] Speaker 2: was telling me this these experiences her husband was having.
[23:58] Speaker 2: And it's down near like snow. So we're approaching like
[24:01] Speaker 2: these areas that you know, the BFR has been listing.
[24:06] Speaker 2: There was the uh you know recently there's the uh
[24:11] Speaker 2: you know Sasquatch that crossed Route eighty there, I think
[24:14] Speaker 2: it was mark mile mark around like once and I
[24:18] Speaker 2: actually I shot a video there at it's called the
[24:23] Speaker 2: Baldi Baldeagle State Park. And that area, like it is
[24:27] Speaker 2: like super rural, like there's there's actually in town near there.
[24:32] Speaker 2: There's there's a local barbecue place that's called like a
[24:37] Speaker 2: big Foot Blazing Barbecue. So like the whole like the
[24:40] Speaker 2: whole area has like this like local local culture of
[24:44] Speaker 2: like something kind of being in the area. And you know,
[24:47] Speaker 2: so her husband was just telling you about how, you know,
[24:49] Speaker 2: he had seen something while he was hunting, got freaked
[24:54] Speaker 2: out and left and this, and then another time like
[24:58] Speaker 2: it was it was like later at night, and because
[25:00] Speaker 2: there's there's so many like thunderbird sightings like in this
[25:04] Speaker 2: north central part of PA that they had also come
[25:09] Speaker 2: across you know, like a large it was a large
[25:13] Speaker 2: bird and it was at dusk and like it completely
[25:18] Speaker 2: freaked this hunter out. So I really I've also I've
[25:21] Speaker 2: also read like plenty of books there's it's called like
[25:24] Speaker 2: the Pennsylvania Stories and more Pennsylvania Stories. But I believe
[25:27] Speaker 2: his name is Henry Shoemaker. I mean this was written
[25:29] Speaker 2: in like the nineteen twenties or so, but it has
[25:33] Speaker 2: a lot of like listed events with you know, different
[25:37] Speaker 2: events happening you know in in like the Sprowl State
[25:40] Speaker 2: Forest and this and the Susquehanna State Forest in terms
[25:44] Speaker 2: of thunderbirds. So I mean there's just like I said,
[25:46] Speaker 2: it's it's such like a like a wild and untamed
[25:50] Speaker 2: area that like, uh yeah, you could you could hide
[25:53] Speaker 2: a dinosaur up there and nobody would know. And so
[25:57] Speaker 2: basically when I was shooting my video for for Bigfoot
[26:00] Speaker 2: near near Snowshoe, I came across like a there was
[26:04] Speaker 2: like a this old like abandoned like it was like
[26:08] Speaker 2: a railway trail and like this like are like four
[26:13] Speaker 2: x four quad club had like kind of commandeered it
[26:16] Speaker 2: but not fully, and like the bridge was out like
[26:19] Speaker 2: the bridge like you know, if you go to Google Maps,
[26:21] Speaker 2: like Google Maps that says like like it's okay, and
[26:24] Speaker 2: it's it's not okay. Like the bridge is completely like
[26:27] Speaker 2: like half demolished. And so I'm I'm traveling down you know,
[26:32] Speaker 2: the path on this old abandoned like quad club trail,
[26:37] Speaker 2: and you know, I see these like large like footprints.
[26:41] Speaker 2: It's under my video called Sasquatch Colt, and I basically
[26:45] Speaker 2: I came across these like weird like runic like somebody
[26:49] Speaker 2: create these like weird runic tablet things on the side
[26:52] Speaker 2: of the road. I was really like, I thank god
[26:55] Speaker 2: I had like bear sprang when I grew out, because
[26:57] Speaker 2: like it's you know, I was in this like it
[26:59] Speaker 2: was almost like a like a valley, like a little
[27:02] Speaker 2: like valley. So if like anybody was going to like
[27:03] Speaker 2: ambush me, like this was like the place to do it.
[27:06] Speaker 2: And so I'm like, you know, kind of like walking
[27:08] Speaker 2: down this like trail like all by myself, and I
[27:11] Speaker 2: come across these like weird you know, like runic symbol
[27:14] Speaker 2: things I saw that just kept on going, but like
[27:18] Speaker 2: like across the trail, you know, because it had like
[27:21] Speaker 2: lightly snowed where these like you know like six like
[27:25] Speaker 2: sixteen inch like footprints dashing across the trail so like
[27:31] Speaker 2: and and like I said, it was like I think
[27:32] Speaker 2: it was early January. So with it with it being
[27:35] Speaker 2: like a bear, I don't know, like I don't know
[27:40] Speaker 2: if a bear is going to be out in early January.
[27:43] Speaker 2: And and there were deer. There were deer in the area,
[27:47] Speaker 2: so it was, uh, you know, it was very like
[27:51] Speaker 2: you know, humbling experience, just because I guess I was
[27:54] Speaker 2: in an area that I was actually using snow shoes
[27:57] Speaker 2: because like the area like had gotten so kind of rough,
[28:01] Speaker 2: and it was like the only way that I could
[28:02] Speaker 2: really hopefully get back to uh like you get back
[28:07] Speaker 2: back to my car, you know, from from where this
[28:09] Speaker 2: area was. Yeah, And like I said, the area is
[28:13] Speaker 2: called like Renault Renovo, Pa, which is it's it's in
[28:17] Speaker 2: the dead middle of like nowhere. And if you go
[28:19] Speaker 2: to like it's called like lock if you go from
[28:21] Speaker 2: like lock Haven to like Emporium off like I believe
[28:25] Speaker 2: it's one twenty there, like Renovo's like in the center
[28:28] Speaker 2: of it, and it you know, like like when you
[28:32] Speaker 2: go this town, it's it's just like it's it's like
[28:34] Speaker 2: a it's almost like a like a ghost town. It's
[28:36] Speaker 2: it's like really abandoned over the years. And so in
[28:41] Speaker 2: addition to like you know the big foot sightings and
[28:44] Speaker 2: like thumbered thunderbird sightings, I also wanted to like I
[28:48] Speaker 2: also trying to do like classical like extinct species and
[28:54] Speaker 2: so there I'm not sure if you're familiar with like
[28:56] Speaker 2: you know the Kinna State like football team, the Knittney
[28:59] Speaker 2: Lyon Absolutely well they yeah, they So they actually get
[29:03] Speaker 2: their name from you know these like you know theoretical
[29:07] Speaker 2: like mountain lions that existed in that area of PA.
[29:13] Speaker 2: That potentially because all these species were all like extirpated,
[29:19] Speaker 2: you know, the like I said, the woodland elk, the
[29:23] Speaker 2: the bison. There was woodland bison. There were past there
[29:26] Speaker 2: passenger pigeon flocks of like three billion, three or four
[29:32] Speaker 2: billion that used to blot out the sun like during
[29:36] Speaker 2: the daytime, and we actually we hunted them all to extinction.
[29:41] Speaker 2: And because you know, people found the meat, like the
[29:45] Speaker 2: of the passenger pigeon there to be you know, tasty.
[29:48] Speaker 2: So that's that's one of the reasons that that was
[29:51] Speaker 2: basically killed to extinction. And so because you know, the
[29:57] Speaker 2: nitty lions kind of are in that area in like
[30:00] Speaker 2: Sprouse State Forest. I followed this like old it was
[30:05] Speaker 2: called like the Panther Tower, the Panther Trail through there,
[30:08] Speaker 2: and basically there used to there used to be like
[30:10] Speaker 2: a lot of fire towers and PA and a lot
[30:13] Speaker 2: of them have been actually just like taken down. And
[30:16] Speaker 2: you know, they had these names from like you know,
[30:20] Speaker 2: maybe you know fifty sixty, seventy years ago, because potentially,
[30:25] Speaker 2: like you know, even a hundred years ago, there was
[30:28] Speaker 2: still mountain lions in PA. And I mean even up
[30:33] Speaker 2: until recently, there was the mountain lion that move went
[30:37] Speaker 2: from like I think it was like North Dakota to Connecticut.
[30:42] Speaker 2: So my theory was, like, you know, did this did
[30:45] Speaker 2: this mountain lion even did it kind of come through
[30:48] Speaker 2: north central PA to get to Connecticut? And I didn't.
[30:53] Speaker 2: I didn't see any signs of mountain lions. But I
[30:56] Speaker 2: swear whenever I'm looking for like thunderbirds or mount lines, like,
[31:02] Speaker 2: I always come across like weird, weird like big foot stuff.
[31:06] Speaker 2: Like the trail that I had to kind of go through,
[31:10] Speaker 2: it was it was like all like all crashed in
[31:14] Speaker 2: like there looked like something had you know, thrown down
[31:17] Speaker 2: like and put x's on the trail, so I didn't
[31:20] Speaker 2: like that was more like kind of the western part
[31:23] Speaker 2: of this this trail, and I just headed east because
[31:26] Speaker 2: that's kind of I was. I was looking for the
[31:28] Speaker 2: panther tower in this and so you know, continually, even
[31:33] Speaker 2: even while I'm like still looking for you know, other species,
[31:38] Speaker 2: like like Bigfoot still kind of like kind of sticks
[31:41] Speaker 2: his foot in there, and like, you know, still there's
[31:44] Speaker 2: still weird signs that kind of you can kind of
[31:47] Speaker 2: exist here and there I've also been to so there
[31:52] Speaker 2: used to be like it I believe it was like
[31:53] Speaker 2: an old like nuclear or missile testing range in north
[31:57] Speaker 2: central PA. And it was called it's called the Khana
[31:59] Speaker 2: Wild Area. And so if if you look at a
[32:01] Speaker 2: map of Pa, you can even see it on Google Maps.
[32:05] Speaker 2: It's it's a there's a perfect circle like in in
[32:08] Speaker 2: central Pa of like I guess the state brought back
[32:12] Speaker 2: the land like from this like nuclear facility. And it's
[32:17] Speaker 2: just so bizarre. And so so there was like in
[32:19] Speaker 2: nineteen eighty five there was like a terrible tornado that
[32:22] Speaker 2: actually like blew through this area, and it's just it's
[32:26] Speaker 2: just so bizarre, Like just looking on a map and
[32:28] Speaker 2: just seeing like a like you know, maps are usually
[32:31] Speaker 2: just more natural, but but seeing like an actual like
[32:34] Speaker 2: circle like on you know, in the in the PA
[32:38] Speaker 2: like you know, fares system, You're like, you're just like,
[32:40] Speaker 2: what what is going on? And so so that that
[32:45] Speaker 2: area that can can have a lot area. I've been
[32:48] Speaker 2: through there and you know, there's there's some some trails
[32:50] Speaker 2: that are pretty pretty cool in terms of you know,
[32:53] Speaker 2: being wild, and a lot a lot in that area.
[32:57] Speaker 2: That's where there's a lot like elk like elk viewing area.
[33:00] Speaker 2: And so while I was shooting one of my videos,
[33:05] Speaker 2: you know, I it was like a terrible windy day,
[33:08] Speaker 2: it was snowy out, Like I was the only person
[33:10] Speaker 2: like at at these like elk viewing areas. And they're
[33:15] Speaker 2: basically like reclaim reclaim land the state bought just because
[33:18] Speaker 2: they were like they were strip mined, and so they
[33:21] Speaker 2: reclaimed the land and now elk are able to like
[33:26] Speaker 2: actually like live, you know, and kind of thrive on this.
[33:28] Speaker 2: But during the wintertime, of course, you know, most animals
[33:31] Speaker 2: kind of go into the trees and start to start
[33:34] Speaker 2: even eating like you know, some type of sticks and
[33:37] Speaker 2: brushes and that type of thing. But when I was there.
[33:41] Speaker 2: There was like like so I shut my door, and
[33:44] Speaker 2: then like a couple of seconds later, I heard like
[33:48] Speaker 2: a wood knock in the valley in the distance. It
[33:50] Speaker 2: was just like it just blew my mind like that,
[33:53] Speaker 2: like you know, like I don't even think. I don't
[33:56] Speaker 2: think I had the camera running at that time, and
[33:58] Speaker 2: I think I feel like I've had other experiences like
[34:00] Speaker 2: that where like like and I'm conscious of it now,
[34:03] Speaker 2: but like when I first go to the area, like
[34:06] Speaker 2: I'm always like I always turned my camera on before,
[34:09] Speaker 2: like I shut my door, because I've I've definitely had
[34:14] Speaker 2: like some some responses like when whenever I close my door,
[34:18] Speaker 2: I guess I slammed my door kind of hard, and
[34:21] Speaker 2: they I've heard woodknocks definitely in the distance, I guess.
[34:26] Speaker 2: Another another example is that it was so also in
[34:30] Speaker 2: north central PA. It's called the Kettle Creek State Park,
[34:33] Speaker 2: and that is like, you know, it's it's a phenomenal.
[34:36] Speaker 2: It's it's one of the tributaries to the Susquehanna River.
[34:39] Speaker 2: And you know, in addition to like the the elk,
[34:44] Speaker 2: the buffalo, and the passenger pigeons before the dams were
[34:49] Speaker 2: erected throughout you know throughout the state, harbor seals actually
[34:54] Speaker 2: used to like to swim like all the way really
[34:57] Speaker 2: into like deep north central PA. And so they were
[35:01] Speaker 2: they were given the nickname the Kettle Creek Monster. So
[35:05] Speaker 2: I was just I was just kind of filming that video,
[35:07] Speaker 2: and I just I was going to get some b
[35:08] Speaker 2: roll because I had, like a I have like another
[35:11] Speaker 2: camera too, it's more of like a long distance camera,
[35:14] Speaker 2: and like you know, once again, I just like I
[35:17] Speaker 2: shut my door. I think I was like filming. I
[35:19] Speaker 2: was just filming birds. There are some you know, really
[35:22] Speaker 2: beautiful ducks that were on the creek there, and like
[35:24] Speaker 2: I shut my door, and then off in the distance,
[35:26] Speaker 2: I heard like a I heard like a wood knock,
[35:29] Speaker 2: and like for me, the question is like if it's
[35:31] Speaker 2: a hunter, Like it's not an echo because it's just
[35:35] Speaker 2: it's it happens usually too too long afterwards, and like,
[35:39] Speaker 2: you know, why would like a why would a hunter
[35:41] Speaker 2: be like firing off a gun like in response to
[35:44] Speaker 2: my like door, you know, slamming. So like that's that's
[35:49] Speaker 2: kind of my my only explanation for in that area.
[35:54] Speaker 2: So I guess moving on to even more places, there's
[35:58] Speaker 2: also the like Cinema Honing like State Park. I know,
[36:03] Speaker 2: like you know a lot of like those the Bigfoot
[36:06] Speaker 2: Society guys, like they kind of go up into that area.
[36:08] Speaker 2: And I've been in that area too, like actually actually
[36:11] Speaker 2: shot a video that was actually on top of the dam,
[36:14] Speaker 2: you know, and and a lot of these like parks,
[36:16] Speaker 2: it's like they're really like you know, like they're really forgotten.
[36:19] Speaker 2: Near like Boston, PA. There's like an old dam that
[36:24] Speaker 2: like blew out, so it looks like, you know, you
[36:26] Speaker 2: go there, it's almost looks like it's like Lord of
[36:28] Speaker 2: the Rings and you're like, you know, like there's nobody
[36:31] Speaker 2: else around. You're you have these like giant like earthworks projects,
[36:35] Speaker 2: and you're just kind of like, you know, you can
[36:37] Speaker 2: literally walk on this dam and just you know, just
[36:41] Speaker 2: really beautiful you know, clear water and you know, no
[36:46] Speaker 2: pollution in this area. But I guess also so I
[36:53] Speaker 2: guess going back to like the State Game Lands, like
[36:56] Speaker 2: so State there's that sighting at that fish Estuary, which
[36:59] Speaker 2: I believe it was like State Inlands like three thirty three,
[37:02] Speaker 2: and that that was like in March of like this
[37:04] Speaker 2: past year. And you know, I had actually shot like
[37:09] Speaker 2: a like a video like earlier. You know, THEO was
[37:12] Speaker 2: two years ago where there had been you know, like
[37:16] Speaker 2: previous also other bigfoot crossings off the I eighty cardor so.
[37:21] Speaker 2: So basically I feel like like north of like in PA,
[37:25] Speaker 2: like north of like the I eighty corridor, like it's
[37:27] Speaker 2: it can really get like like it's really wild right
[37:31] Speaker 2: and like and super like super unpopulated. And and for me,
[37:37] Speaker 2: it's like my question is are these creatures are they
[37:40] Speaker 2: do they want like do they want the attention? Do
[37:43] Speaker 2: they want you know, do they want like do they
[37:46] Speaker 2: want to be near us? So I still haven't really
[37:49] Speaker 2: figured that out. And you know in this area, like
[37:53] Speaker 2: if you you know, near the Bald Eagle like State
[37:55] Speaker 2: Park and State Game Lands three thirty three, you know,
[37:58] Speaker 2: you kind of go between like you know, like mountains
[38:02] Speaker 2: that are that are forested and then and then like
[38:05] Speaker 2: farms in the valleys and then mountains in the forest
[38:08] Speaker 2: and then you know, like farms in the valleys. And
[38:11] Speaker 2: so it's like it would be like perfect terrain for
[38:13] Speaker 2: an animal to like you know, kind of hide at
[38:16] Speaker 2: night in the woods or hide during the day during
[38:18] Speaker 2: the woods and then come down at night to like
[38:20] Speaker 2: to steal food, you know, from like a local you know, farmer,
[38:24] Speaker 2: and so there's there's definitely like this like it's definitely
[38:28] Speaker 2: this like Goldilock Zone of like hey, there's like potentially
[38:31] Speaker 2: like a food source for these creatures and you know
[38:34] Speaker 2: they have like a they have like a place to hide.
[38:39] Speaker 2: I guess. Going further south, like I've also been to
[38:41] Speaker 2: like it's called Mecho State Park and like that's that's
[38:45] Speaker 2: weird because I think it's actually like the northern Termus
[38:48] Speaker 2: of like almost the Blue Ridge Mountains. So and like
[38:52] Speaker 2: it's weird because like outside of it, like it's not
[38:55] Speaker 2: there's really no like there's no mountains, so it's it's
[39:00] Speaker 2: this little island in the sky and there's been like
[39:03] Speaker 2: lots of uh more. I shot one of my first
[39:05] Speaker 2: videos there and that was like one of you know,
[39:09] Speaker 2: uh you know like a really really special special spot.
[39:13] Speaker 2: You know. I guess in terms of like you know,
[39:16] Speaker 2: more more areas and pa I've also been into like
[39:19] Speaker 2: the Delaware Delaware State Forest and uh that's kind of
[39:23] Speaker 2: where like there's Promised Land State Park out there. There's
[39:26] Speaker 2: also it's called like Egypt Meadows, and like Egypt Meadows
[39:30] Speaker 2: is like kind of crazy because it's like you really
[39:34] Speaker 2: like I have a garment. I have like like GPS
[39:38] Speaker 2: like search and Rescue insurance just because like when you
[39:41] Speaker 2: when you go down on these trails like by yourself,
[39:44] Speaker 2: like you have to just kind of be prepared for
[39:46] Speaker 2: the worst. And it's not like a like a more
[39:51] Speaker 2: like you know, kind of urban park where there's there's
[39:53] Speaker 2: gonna be more people, you know, some of these some
[39:56] Speaker 2: of these like you know, really kind of out there,
[39:59] Speaker 2: like uh, you know, state parks like they yeah, they
[40:03] Speaker 2: they're they're really like in the middle of like almost nowhere, right,
[40:07] Speaker 2: and like they like they're they're very scarcely populated with
[40:11] Speaker 2: other hikers and actually, like I actually like it's one
[40:16] Speaker 2: of the few times I've I've gotten lost on a
[40:17] Speaker 2: trail and actually turned back because it was like it
[40:20] Speaker 2: was getting your dusk and like I was just like
[40:23] Speaker 2: like there's there's no point in like like getting lost
[40:26] Speaker 2: in the woods at nighttime and you know, something like
[40:28] Speaker 2: something happening to you. So I think that's that's like
[40:33] Speaker 2: a pretty good you know kind of examination of like
[40:36] Speaker 2: you know, where where I've been in PA and I
[40:41] Speaker 2: guess moving on to uh like so I've been to
[40:45] Speaker 2: a lot of spots in New Jersey as well. Uh
[40:49] Speaker 2: So basically, you know, one of the first videos I
[40:51] Speaker 2: ever shot was the it's like the the the Jersey
[40:55] Speaker 2: Devil of course, right, and so like Ocean Spray, that's
[40:59] Speaker 2: like the Cranberry Company, they have like a lot of
[41:02] Speaker 2: abandoned like cranberry bogs that are that are in in
[41:07] Speaker 2: these areas. And so I was, you know, shooting my
[41:12] Speaker 2: video and and I saw this like, you know, large
[41:15] Speaker 2: extremely large bird like kind of fleeing in the distance.
[41:18] Speaker 2: It was like a it's definitely like a crane. It
[41:20] Speaker 2: wasn't it was even it was even like bigger than
[41:22] Speaker 2: like a heron. And so I did it like a
[41:25] Speaker 2: little bit of research deep dive into the area. And
[41:29] Speaker 2: so like South Jersey, like the pine bearns they have,
[41:34] Speaker 2: uh they have the sand hill crane, which actually migrates
[41:37] Speaker 2: through there. But even like weirder and like like more
[41:41] Speaker 2: more recent times, like in the nineties, there was a
[41:44] Speaker 2: farmer like in upstate New York who actually imported these
[41:47] Speaker 2: they're called Eurasian gray cranes, and they actually they got
[41:51] Speaker 2: loose and they somehow, like I guess, found the sandhill
[41:54] Speaker 2: crane population and started like in intermingling with them. So
[41:59] Speaker 2: I actually like it's extremely I mean with my mind's eye,
[42:03] Speaker 2: like I saw quite well, but you know with the
[42:05] Speaker 2: camera I was using it at the time, it didn't
[42:08] Speaker 2: like you can kind of see it, but it's like extremely,
[42:11] Speaker 2: extremely in the distance. So you know, my my theory
[42:14] Speaker 2: on the Jersey Devil is that you know, basically back
[42:18] Speaker 2: in colonial times when you know, people were first coming
[42:21] Speaker 2: to this country, you know, they were coming across like
[42:24] Speaker 2: sand hill cranes, and they mistook it for the Jersey Devil.
[42:28] Speaker 2: And it's kind of controversial and people will like you
[42:32] Speaker 2: know kind of you know, really really put the paranormal
[42:35] Speaker 2: side to things. But like I mean, the sandal cranes
[42:39] Speaker 2: like they they avoid like they avoid humanity, like the plague.
[42:44] Speaker 2: And like I was like, I mean I was maybe
[42:47] Speaker 2: a quarter mile away from this thing and it took
[42:49] Speaker 2: off and with these drained bogs, it's like you go
[42:53] Speaker 2: in there. And I also shot another so I shot
[42:57] Speaker 2: there was in the same kind of areas, Like there's
[43:01] Speaker 2: like Brendan t Burn State Farce, which is part of
[43:03] Speaker 2: the Pine Barrens. There was a report setting of you
[43:09] Speaker 2: know Bigfoot, you know, by the side of the road.
[43:12] Speaker 2: You know, there's some just like some person saw like
[43:14] Speaker 2: like a juvenile bigfoot, and so I it was, you know,
[43:19] Speaker 2: one of my early videos, and you know, I definitely
[43:22] Speaker 2: like I captured some type of footprint and it looked
[43:26] Speaker 2: like it treaded into the the like the bogs like
[43:31] Speaker 2: in the swamps there. So like you know, because I
[43:35] Speaker 2: really I feel like if these things are just you know,
[43:39] Speaker 2: Bigfoot's like avoiding us, They're they're going to go to
[43:41] Speaker 2: like you know, the most nasty places they can to
[43:45] Speaker 2: avoid us. And and funny enough, like I was looking
[43:48] Speaker 2: at the Google comments for like this this area where
[43:51] Speaker 2: where I saw these like footprints and like just some
[43:54] Speaker 2: like local Yokul was like he was like, oh this
[43:57] Speaker 2: is oh, this is where you know, this is where
[43:58] Speaker 2: Bigfoot hangs out. So my mom was like completely blown
[44:02] Speaker 2: and and that's not my so basically moving more like
[44:06] Speaker 2: towards the coast, you know there there have actually been
[44:09] Speaker 2: like big foot settings like at the Jersey Shore, and
[44:13] Speaker 2: I really I feel like this potentially maybe could be
[44:16] Speaker 2: real because during like the wintertime, like there's nobody in
[44:20] Speaker 2: some of these towns, like everybody kind of moves back
[44:23] Speaker 2: to like you know, Philly or New York for the
[44:26] Speaker 2: for the for the winter, and so like you know,
[44:29] Speaker 2: I just had this like funny thought of like a
[44:31] Speaker 2: of a big foot like treading through some like Jersey
[44:33] Speaker 2: Beach town, you know, like with like nobody around. And
[44:38] Speaker 2: so I went to it's called Double Trouble State Park.
[44:42] Speaker 2: And so this basically like underneath the underneath the New
[44:48] Speaker 2: Jersey Pine Barrens is like one of the largest like
[44:51] Speaker 2: reservoirs in the world for like water. So it's even
[44:55] Speaker 2: like so it's basically like these aquifers that are underground
[44:59] Speaker 2: that are beating these like you know rivers through these
[45:02] Speaker 2: like state parks like in in in the Pine Burns,
[45:06] Speaker 2: and you know, it's like this really weird looking like
[45:09] Speaker 2: tea colored uh tea colored like you know, kind of
[45:13] Speaker 2: water to it. And I think that's actually like where
[45:16] Speaker 2: I I think years prior, like I I think I
[45:19] Speaker 2: wrote into you about a swamp dog in South Jersey
[45:24] Speaker 2: and like the here, yeah, in the area that he
[45:26] Speaker 2: was at, and so I kind of like I invested this,
[45:29] Speaker 2: you know, this area just to kind of you know,
[45:33] Speaker 2: see if there's any like you know, validity to it.
[45:35] Speaker 2: And like you go back like in some of these
[45:38] Speaker 2: like you know, like river areas, and it's it's really
[45:41] Speaker 2: really like really Jurassic back there. You know, there's like
[45:45] Speaker 2: sometimes there's like Spanish moss like hanging on the trees
[45:47] Speaker 2: and things like that. Like it's real, like like real
[45:51] Speaker 2: like real, real super wild area. And so I definitely,
[45:56] Speaker 2: I definitely you could see how like they're in, especially
[46:00] Speaker 2: in Sauce, Jersey, there could be you know, some type
[46:02] Speaker 2: of like anything. But I guess starting to go a
[46:06] Speaker 2: little bit further north, like through that it's called the
[46:10] Speaker 2: Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, and like what
[46:15] Speaker 2: people just don't realize like even you know, like harbor
[46:18] Speaker 2: seals like really they they winter like in like at
[46:23] Speaker 2: the Jersey Shore. And I just thought it was like
[46:24] Speaker 2: a funny idea of like you know, I know, it's
[46:26] Speaker 2: not like it's not particularly encrypted, but like you know,
[46:29] Speaker 2: just I feel like it kind of it could kind
[46:31] Speaker 2: of blow people's minds just to like, you know, because
[46:34] Speaker 2: I guess we have this like idea of like seals
[46:36] Speaker 2: at least on the East coast being like you know,
[46:38] Speaker 2: and you're like you know Nova Scotia or or you
[46:43] Speaker 2: know Greenland or something. You know, so It's just like
[46:45] Speaker 2: fun knowing that like, you know, these these kind of
[46:48] Speaker 2: hit down here in the mid Atlantic, we can like
[46:50] Speaker 2: we can go see seals. It's like the dead of
[46:52] Speaker 2: winner too. It's usually like January or February. And but
[46:57] Speaker 2: so I was going to like you know, kind of
[47:00] Speaker 2: best seeing the area a little bit more. And there's
[47:01] Speaker 2: definitely been a lot of like you know, sea creatures
[47:05] Speaker 2: explained sea creatures in that Sandy Hook Bay area. And
[47:09] Speaker 2: so there's a situation where there was these fishers, not
[47:14] Speaker 2: a fishermen, but even just locals who they keep on
[47:18] Speaker 2: reporting seeing a like a sea monster with it has
[47:22] Speaker 2: like a bulldog face to it. And so it's like
[47:25] Speaker 2: really weird that like specifically you people just keep on
[47:28] Speaker 2: bringing up this like you know, kind of the sea
[47:30] Speaker 2: sea creature that has this like same face every single time.
[47:35] Speaker 2: I just I just found that interesting, you know, just
[47:37] Speaker 2: with with having like the harbor seals in that area.
[47:40] Speaker 2: But if you're further north, like in New Jersey, like
[47:44] Speaker 2: you know, and getting towards almost the New York line.
[47:47] Speaker 2: Basically the during the ice ages, the ice sheets, basically
[47:52] Speaker 2: the southern terminus was like near like you know, North
[47:55] Speaker 2: Jersey and southern southern New York. So what happened was
[47:59] Speaker 2: like all that like earth and rocks and soils that
[48:04] Speaker 2: were you know, when they were ground and push they
[48:07] Speaker 2: most of them are actually pushed to like this area.
[48:10] Speaker 2: So you have like a lot of areas with all
[48:12] Speaker 2: these like I think they're called like radical boulders. Yeah,
[48:15] Speaker 2: that are just kind of deposited because it was where
[48:18] Speaker 2: like you know, like I said, the ice sheets had stopped.
[48:20] Speaker 2: So yeah, I know David Plaiti's as the you know
[48:24] Speaker 2: a lot of a lot of times when he has
[48:26] Speaker 2: occurrences of people like missing, it's around like boulders, like
[48:29] Speaker 2: like granite boulders and things like that. And it's just
[48:33] Speaker 2: just funny that this, you know that these areas and
[48:35] Speaker 2: like north North Jersey and like you know, southern New
[48:38] Speaker 2: York have all these like you know, free radical boulders
[48:42] Speaker 2: that you know, people potentially you know, or boulder fields
[48:45] Speaker 2: that people potentially like have bigfoot bigfoot sightings. And yeah,
[48:52] Speaker 2: I mean if you go to North Jersey, like you
[48:54] Speaker 2: can actually just look it up on Google. It's called
[48:57] Speaker 2: just taking a big Foot sculpture. And so I I
[49:02] Speaker 2: don't even I think I just came across it randomly.
[49:04] Speaker 2: So there's in near like I think it's called the
[49:07] Speaker 2: wanna Que Reservoir. There's a trail out there, it's called
[49:11] Speaker 2: the Sculpture Trail. And so you know, I'm walking around
[49:15] Speaker 2: and you know this it's where I shot one of
[49:16] Speaker 2: my videos and basically like this big Foot sculpture is
[49:20] Speaker 2: atop this cave. And so there was another situation where
[49:23] Speaker 2: like I definitely have to get a jerome because you know,
[49:26] Speaker 2: when I was walking like near this cave, like I
[49:28] Speaker 2: definitely like I was like above the cave like where
[49:32] Speaker 2: the Bigfoot sculpture was, and this terrible smell was like
[49:37] Speaker 2: emanating from it and like something was in there, and
[49:40] Speaker 2: like I just did not want to like you know,
[49:42] Speaker 2: just check it out and like see see what was
[49:45] Speaker 2: going on. I guess with you know, with North Jersey,
[49:49] Speaker 2: like the if you're I feel like if you're really
[49:54] Speaker 2: if you're really serious about like trying to find like
[49:56] Speaker 2: big Foot in the area, you know, the basically from
[49:59] Speaker 2: like like the delwork App National Recreation as far as
[50:04] Speaker 2: to like high Point State Park that's it's all part
[50:07] Speaker 2: of like that it's called the kidd Tinny like mountain
[50:09] Speaker 2: Range and like I feel like in terms of like
[50:13] Speaker 2: you know, potentially where these creatures have been pushed to
[50:16] Speaker 2: in New Jersey because there I shot a video. It
[50:20] Speaker 2: was like where these diners were at this like restaurant
[50:25] Speaker 2: that was like really like rural kind of like mountain
[50:28] Speaker 2: kind of restaurant thing, and they're sitting there and they
[50:31] Speaker 2: see these like too bigfoot like you know, kind of
[50:34] Speaker 2: like a cross the field and like and and these
[50:37] Speaker 2: couples are just sitting there and they're like looking at
[50:39] Speaker 2: each other like are you seeing that? Like these you know,
[50:42] Speaker 2: they're strangers, They're like are are you seeing that? And
[50:44] Speaker 2: then like they're both looking at each other like oh
[50:47] Speaker 2: my god, like what is this? Right? So I actually
[50:49] Speaker 2: I shot a video at that way, and it's time
[50:52] Speaker 2: I ever filled. I feel the film the like Little
[50:56] Speaker 2: Baby Bear Cubs, which was like you know, you know,
[50:59] Speaker 2: just fund finally finally see finally see a bear in
[51:02] Speaker 2: the wild. And yeah, So that that area through uh
[51:08] Speaker 2: you know, the bell Or Gap National Recreation Area to
[51:11] Speaker 2: to high Point State Park. That's kind of like where
[51:14] Speaker 2: like the Big Red Eyes known and that's that's like
[51:17] Speaker 2: really famous for sightings. Uh. I tried to like mimic
[51:22] Speaker 2: there was a sighting there where I believe it is
[51:24] Speaker 2: it so so I guess like in PA and New Jersey,
[51:26] Speaker 2: there's there's natural gas lines that run like from fracking
[51:30] Speaker 2: and like so they almost they almost serve as like
[51:33] Speaker 2: power lines. And there's been like a lot of like
[51:37] Speaker 2: the poored sightings you know, near near gas lines, gas
[51:42] Speaker 2: line clearings, and so there was a gentleman who was
[51:45] Speaker 2: like riding a bicycle and I just wanted to mimic that,
[51:49] Speaker 2: so I I just like strapped a camera like onto
[51:52] Speaker 2: my bike, and you know, I was riding along and
[51:55] Speaker 2: I didn't have I didn't I didn't have any experiences there,
[51:58] Speaker 2: but I did have. So I was in it's called
[52:01] Speaker 2: Stokes State Forest, which is just south of high Point
[52:04] Speaker 2: State Park. And you know, more recently, I find I
[52:07] Speaker 2: finally I finally started wood doing wood knocks, but because
[52:11] Speaker 2: it like saves me a lot of walking, saves me
[52:13] Speaker 2: a lot of like I feel like if there's any
[52:16] Speaker 2: way of like maybe tricking the species into responding, Like
[52:19] Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, like a wood knock is
[52:22] Speaker 2: kind of anomenous, anonymous, whereas like if you're doing like
[52:25] Speaker 2: a big foot, how it like, yeah, they can like
[52:29] Speaker 2: they can. I feel like they can like understand the
[52:31] Speaker 2: different difference in your vocal cords. And so I so
[52:36] Speaker 2: I did like a I did like a just like
[52:38] Speaker 2: a like just one or two knocks, and I just
[52:41] Speaker 2: I had this like it was there's nobody, there's no
[52:44] Speaker 2: one else in as far ast like I try and
[52:46] Speaker 2: I always try and go to like State Parks on
[52:49] Speaker 2: like a Tuesday or like a Wednesday, when there's like
[52:51] Speaker 2: nobody there. I think I saw like one, one or
[52:54] Speaker 2: two cars further down, which you know, these fishermen, and
[53:01] Speaker 2: I had just this like I don't know how to
[53:03] Speaker 2: describe it, but it was like a it was like
[53:05] Speaker 2: a hellish like a hellish scream that like that came
[53:09] Speaker 2: that came through like the forest, and it just it
[53:12] Speaker 2: just sounded so like just so unnatural, you know, and
[53:15] Speaker 2: like like just no, just it just didn't seem like
[53:19] Speaker 2: something like a human, like a human could produce. And
[53:23] Speaker 2: then also when I was in del work at National
[53:26] Speaker 2: Recreation Area a little bit further south, that's when I've
[53:29] Speaker 2: come with like I went there it was like God,
[53:32] Speaker 2: it was like maybe a March or April, and it
[53:35] Speaker 2: just snowed and so not to many people were there,
[53:37] Speaker 2: and I think I had like I had my I've
[53:39] Speaker 2: like kind of like snowshoes just to you kind of
[53:42] Speaker 2: hike through kind of snowy areas. And I came across
[53:46] Speaker 2: like there was someone had discarded their pants there, like
[53:49] Speaker 2: you know, at like fifteen hundred feet, Like it was
[53:52] Speaker 2: just real, like real, real scary stuff come across somewhere.
[53:56] Speaker 2: I was done when I saw that. I just I
[53:58] Speaker 2: just came back down because you know, especially like during
[54:01] Speaker 2: you know, more like winter months when there's nobody out there.
[54:05] Speaker 2: I mean, you know, it can it's it's one of
[54:09] Speaker 2: the things where you know, when you go in the woods,
[54:11] Speaker 2: like you have to you just have to be have
[54:15] Speaker 2: your wits about you, and you know, it was it
[54:18] Speaker 2: was really disturbing to find to find that I found
[54:24] Speaker 2: even also a National Gap Recreation Area. There's actually like
[54:28] Speaker 2: on the PA side, so it's the doll Or Gat
[54:32] Speaker 2: National Recreation Area. It's on it's in PA and New
[54:35] Speaker 2: Jersey and it kind of straddles the northern northern part
[54:38] Speaker 2: of the Delaware River there, and like I came across
[54:41] Speaker 2: like it was like you know, it was like April
[54:44] Speaker 2: or something, and like something had killed and gutted a
[54:47] Speaker 2: deer like off the trail. I mean, there's was there
[54:50] Speaker 2: was a report setting like along that area like years ago,
[54:55] Speaker 2: like truckers like used to like see you know they
[55:00] Speaker 2: foot like you know by the side of the road
[55:02] Speaker 2: at night time, like a family of bigfoot. So I
[55:04] Speaker 2: definitely I definitely had to go to that area and
[55:06] Speaker 2: try and check that out. You know, New Jersey's weird
[55:10] Speaker 2: because it has like a lob of these like county
[55:13] Speaker 2: and the state parks that are they're really like ginormous.
[55:17] Speaker 2: Like there's the the Mainland Dickerson Park and I had
[55:20] Speaker 2: a response back to a wood knock there, and you
[55:23] Speaker 2: know it's it's not even like a state park, but
[55:25] Speaker 2: I believe it's actually a county park, and so it's
[55:27] Speaker 2: like really it's really like unvisited and it's near the
[55:33] Speaker 2: Picotine Arsenal where all the beave it's all like the
[55:37] Speaker 2: drone sightings were like you know, like last year, and
[55:41] Speaker 2: like so it's it's like a real, like really really
[55:43] Speaker 2: weird area. And so I actually had like a I
[55:48] Speaker 2: had a response like to to a wood knock in
[55:50] Speaker 2: the area, and I remember like there was there's definitely
[55:53] Speaker 2: like an area that was like it's more like a
[55:55] Speaker 2: brush kind of area that's like further further out, and
[55:59] Speaker 2: like you know, I always trying to like be apprehensive
[56:02] Speaker 2: in those areas because you know, if there's a bear,
[56:05] Speaker 2: if it's like April or whatever, late March. I think
[56:08] Speaker 2: the bears I saw like at you know, near near
[56:14] Speaker 2: you know where that saying was at that restaurant that
[56:16] Speaker 2: was I saw there was actually it was like a
[56:18] Speaker 2: mama bear with like two cubs. And this was like
[56:20] Speaker 2: early March, so bears, bears were even getting out like
[56:24] Speaker 2: in early March like in this area. I guess it
[56:26] Speaker 2: just has to do with a lot of like the
[56:29] Speaker 2: temperature and if it's you know, kind of like safe
[56:31] Speaker 2: to get out. And I guess another you know, real
[56:36] Speaker 2: at least in New Jersey, another area that's gotten like
[56:39] Speaker 2: really like crazy in terms of uh, you know, wildness areas.
[56:43] Speaker 2: It's called like the Ramapo Ramapo Valley and it's like
[56:46] Speaker 2: a large once again, it's like basically two large county
[56:50] Speaker 2: parks that combined to like almost like five or ten
[56:53] Speaker 2: thousand acres, and there's been sightings up that way you
[56:57] Speaker 2: know where you know, you know, someone's driving in a
[57:01] Speaker 2: car and Yeah, they've they've had you know, sightings in
[57:04] Speaker 2: that area'thing wrong with the Skyline drive, but yeah, even
[57:08] Speaker 2: even going out there, it's like you're you realize, you're like, oh, man,
[57:11] Speaker 2: like I'm in these areas and like you know, you
[57:15] Speaker 2: you can you know see like the New York Skyline
[57:17] Speaker 2: sometimes you know, from some of these mountains, and it
[57:21] Speaker 2: just makes you realize, like how how quickly things get
[57:24] Speaker 2: rural like in some of these areas And I guess
[57:30] Speaker 2: just I'm just trying to get to New York, So
[57:34] Speaker 2: New York basically God, it's called so basically just across
[57:39] Speaker 2: the line, it's called Harriman State Park. And there's there's
[57:43] Speaker 2: been like it's called like it's like Seven Lakes Drive,
[57:46] Speaker 2: like it's like Tobago Lake, all those types of areas
[57:50] Speaker 2: through there, and there's been like multiple, multiple like sightings
[57:54] Speaker 2: through that area. And there's there's so many boulder fields
[57:58] Speaker 2: and like I totally I'm stood how like you know,
[58:01] Speaker 2: somebody could somebody could come across, you know, some type
[58:04] Speaker 2: of some type of creature in this area just because
[58:07] Speaker 2: it gets like so wild and really, like I said,
[58:10] Speaker 2: no nobody is out in these areas. Go a little
[58:13] Speaker 2: bit further north, So I went to it's called Lake
[58:17] Speaker 2: Lake Minnewaska State Park, and so basically it's it's not
[58:20] Speaker 2: really a part of the Cat Skills. It's kind of
[58:22] Speaker 2: its own thing. And there's these ice caverns there and
[58:26] Speaker 2: like like it's there was a sighting like at these
[58:30] Speaker 2: ice caverns like during I feel like a lot of
[58:32] Speaker 2: this stuff is just like happening during like the middle
[58:35] Speaker 2: like the middle of like winter in these areas. So
[58:37] Speaker 2: it's like, you know, like you know, are My theory
[58:41] Speaker 2: is like are they like are Bigfoot like migrating from
[58:44] Speaker 2: like the Adirondacks down to the cat Skills like during
[58:47] Speaker 2: the winter just to like avoid like the extreme like
[58:50] Speaker 2: cold temperatures like that. That's kind of my theory for
[58:52] Speaker 2: New York. But yeah, I mean, like even just like
[58:56] Speaker 2: when you look at into these valleys, it's just it's
[58:59] Speaker 2: just like it's it's like Pa, it's like endless. The
[59:02] Speaker 2: cat Skills and Adironics have that same feeling of like
[59:05] Speaker 2: North central Pa, where you know, there's this level of wildness.
[59:10] Speaker 2: I guess, you know, just a quick note about like
[59:13] Speaker 2: you know Pa, North Central Pa. Like a lot of
[59:15] Speaker 2: these like state forests that became you know, that became
[59:20] Speaker 2: state farest was basically because all the railroad industry they
[59:25] Speaker 2: destroyed like a lot of these forests back in the
[59:27] Speaker 2: early part of the twentieth century, and so the state
[59:29] Speaker 2: brought back these lands at Penning on a dollar. And now,
[59:32] Speaker 2: you know, one hundred and twenty five years later, you know,
[59:35] Speaker 2: a lot of these forests have grown back. And yeah,
[59:39] Speaker 2: I think it's it's kind of the same situation up
[59:41] Speaker 2: up there near the Cat Skills, and so yeah, I
[59:46] Speaker 2: started I started to shooting some videos like near the
[59:48] Speaker 2: Cat Skills, and you know, basically like the Cat Skills
[59:53] Speaker 2: is really the watershed for New York City. So you
[59:55] Speaker 2: go to you know these like different reservoirs up there,
[59:58] Speaker 2: and you'll see like New York City Police officers like
[1:00:02] Speaker 2: guarding you know, guarding these like reservoirs, and you're like
[1:00:05] Speaker 2: two hundred miles away from New York And so I
[1:00:08] Speaker 2: went to the Pacting Reservoir. There's like a it's called
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: like the Shaver Shaver Town Grill Trail, and like a
[1:00:16] Speaker 2: lot of like the the Catskills are known for like
[1:00:20] Speaker 2: canning products because like tanning leather products, because the hemlock
[1:00:25] Speaker 2: treats produced the Tanning So there's a lot there's like
[1:00:28] Speaker 2: a lot of abandoned towns that like used to be
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: just like tanneries. And so when I was going off
[1:00:34] Speaker 2: this trail, like you know, like once again, I'm I'm
[1:00:37] Speaker 2: I'm along on a trail by myself, and like this
[1:00:41] Speaker 2: like stick just comes like flying flying through the forest.
[1:00:45] Speaker 2: Not a rock. It was it was like a branch,
[1:00:47] Speaker 2: like something through a branch, and I just I just
[1:00:51] Speaker 2: I just headed out because it was like it was crazy.
[1:00:56] Speaker 2: I guess going a little bit like going a little
[1:00:58] Speaker 2: bit further north. There's actually a legend in the cat
[1:01:01] Speaker 2: Skills of the Grahamsville gorilla, and that was like basically
[1:01:06] Speaker 2: just known as like an escape primate. They think, yeah,
[1:01:09] Speaker 2: they think, like I said, they think it's more of
[1:01:11] Speaker 2: it was more of like a you know of like
[1:01:14] Speaker 2: a of a mountain gorilla but from like a zoo
[1:01:17] Speaker 2: or from as a circus train. But basically with like
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: the Slide Slide Mountain wilderness up there, like you could
[1:01:25] Speaker 2: really like it's it's I think the cat Skills are
[1:01:28] Speaker 2: also they're also like half a million acres you know,
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: just kind of like an Allegheny National forest, and it's
[1:01:35] Speaker 2: it's real like my kind of my my target area
[1:01:38] Speaker 2: for the area is actually like New York. It's called
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: Gilboa and there's a little park there called mine Kill
[1:01:45] Speaker 2: State Park. And one thing I've I've been discovering is that,
[1:01:48] Speaker 2: like you know, I've been watching a lot of times
[1:01:50] Speaker 2: I'll just like I watch like a YouTube video it's
[1:01:52] Speaker 2: more of just like a hiking video just to like
[1:01:55] Speaker 2: you know kind of like just like get get like
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: an as semblance of the train kind of. And like
[1:02:02] Speaker 2: so there was this one gentleman who was hiking and
[1:02:04] Speaker 2: he was like he was like, oh my god, Like
[1:02:06] Speaker 2: you know, like I've seen like hiking videos that showed
[1:02:10] Speaker 2: like all the signs of like a classic like Bigfoot
[1:02:13] Speaker 2: like encounter, like if it's stalking people and they have
[1:02:17] Speaker 2: these people have nothing to do with like Bigfoot. They're
[1:02:19] Speaker 2: just like these like just these hiking like hiking trail videos,
[1:02:24] Speaker 2: and it really always blows my mind. And so I went.
[1:02:29] Speaker 2: I went to it's called Minekill State Park, and there's
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: plenty of like plenty of trails, plenty of you know,
[1:02:35] Speaker 2: things on that level for you know, really really getting lost.
[1:02:41] Speaker 2: And like I said, also with the Slide Mountain Wilderness.
[1:02:43] Speaker 2: It's it's it's like, you know, the Catskills actually get
[1:02:46] Speaker 2: up to like four forty four thousand feet, so you know,
[1:02:51] Speaker 2: it's a really rugged like in wild area for for
[1:02:54] Speaker 2: being on the East Coast. And I actually went to
[1:02:58] Speaker 2: I also went to the New York big Foot Conference,
[1:03:01] Speaker 2: which was in October, and you know, when I was
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: up there, like I shot up I shot a video
[1:03:09] Speaker 2: for just you know, like the southern southern terminus of
[1:03:13] Speaker 2: the Adirondacks. And I feel like, you know, there's other
[1:03:16] Speaker 2: people that kind of cover the Adirondacks because like they're
[1:03:19] Speaker 2: I think you can get you can fit the Grand Canyon,
[1:03:22] Speaker 2: Yellowstone like Glacier and like Glacier and like uh Yosemite
[1:03:29] Speaker 2: all in it. It's it's it's just such a vast area,
[1:03:32] Speaker 2: you know. So it's like I feel like I'm okay
[1:03:34] Speaker 2: with like where I'm where I'm at like more like
[1:03:37] Speaker 2: southernly in the mid Atlantic, and you know, and at
[1:03:40] Speaker 2: the big Foot conference, I saw, you know, like it
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: was it was incredible, like just you know, meeting like
[1:03:46] Speaker 2: you know, usually there's like I know, like the Ohio
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: big Foot conferences, like thirty thousand people or something. But
[1:03:52] Speaker 2: this one, there was only like a hundred people there,
[1:03:54] Speaker 2: and like, you know, I met like Ken Gerhart, you know,
[1:03:58] Speaker 2: Cliff Barrickman, Renee Hall holland you know doctor Sarmiento, Adam
[1:04:04] Speaker 2: Davies like and guys from like Squatches Housetts. So it's
[1:04:08] Speaker 2: just it was like a real surreal experience like at
[1:04:11] Speaker 2: this conference where there's only like one hundred people, and
[1:04:14] Speaker 2: you know, I had I had to pinch myself, you know,
[1:04:17] Speaker 2: just just kind of being in that crowd. And you know,
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: but I think I realized from that experience maybe the
[1:04:24] Speaker 2: Adirondacks are they're they're kind of like the Southern Auronics.
[1:04:27] Speaker 2: It's like my, you know, like Saratoga Springs, that's like my,
[1:04:31] Speaker 2: that's like my northern northern terminus for where you know,
[1:04:34] Speaker 2: I kind of do you know, sasquatch hunting. And I
[1:04:39] Speaker 2: also did a I also did a video in Long
[1:04:41] Speaker 2: Island too, because they've been uh like sightings of a
[1:04:45] Speaker 2: bigfoot in like you know, I think it's like a
[1:04:48] Speaker 2: what Whitman State Park, But I was a little bit
[1:04:50] Speaker 2: further north near like it's called Sagamore Hill, which is
[1:04:54] Speaker 2: like I think it was like Teddy Roosevelt's like summer home, correct,
[1:04:58] Speaker 2: and just just yeah, just just being in that area,
[1:05:02] Speaker 2: like you know, you like you see like either the
[1:05:06] Speaker 2: natural resources that are there, like the abundance of food,
[1:05:09] Speaker 2: and you know, it's really really mind blowing. And yeah,
[1:05:14] Speaker 2: so that's that's kind of that's that's been my experiences.
[1:05:17] Speaker 2: And I believe I'm gonna be heading to uh. I
[1:05:20] Speaker 2: finally got to shoot a video Allegheny National Forest soon enough,
[1:05:24] Speaker 2: because it's actually legal to it's legal to film in
[1:05:28] Speaker 2: national parks now, so yeah, you don't need like a
[1:05:31] Speaker 2: you don't need like a film film permit anymore. And
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: I'm actually looking to go to so near Alleghany. It's
[1:05:38] Speaker 2: called Cook's Farest and that's that's northwest PA. It's near
[1:05:43] Speaker 2: like the Forest County Bigfoot Festival and Cooks Fit County
[1:05:47] Speaker 2: Cook's Forrest as uh like it actually was an area
[1:05:51] Speaker 2: where two railroad companies couldn't decide like who owned the area.
[1:05:55] Speaker 2: So it's it's like what the original growth forests like
[1:05:58] Speaker 2: still left in PA. So that's that's been my that's
[1:06:03] Speaker 2: been my past couple of years, and it's been been
[1:06:05] Speaker 2: quite a quite a journey to just really you know,
[1:06:09] Speaker 2: come close to something that potentially, like though would people
[1:06:13] Speaker 2: you know may not have any like evidence or belief
[1:06:18] Speaker 2: in And I just I just like the idea of like,
[1:06:21] Speaker 2: you know, potentially finding some type of evidence for you know,
[1:06:25] Speaker 2: not only just like Bigfoot, but like any type of
[1:06:28] Speaker 2: you know, cryptozoological zoological species that like might you know,
[1:06:32] Speaker 2: still still exist.
[1:06:35] Speaker 1: It really is a fascinating channel in the fact that
[1:06:38] Speaker 1: the reason I I love it is that you do
[1:06:42] Speaker 1: hit a lot of the places you go to. I've
[1:06:45] Speaker 1: actually had interviews in those areas, so you know, we
[1:06:51] Speaker 1: talked about you know, you went and checked out swamp
[1:06:53] Speaker 1: Dogs area. Listeners that have been around for a while
[1:06:56] Speaker 1: will remember swamp Dog from New Jersey. But also I've
[1:06:59] Speaker 1: had plenty of interviews that have you know, talked about
[1:07:03] Speaker 1: Misha State Forest, Gilboa a few times, so that area
[1:07:09] Speaker 1: has a.
[1:07:09] Speaker 2: Lot of really crazy up there.
[1:07:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, So in the last few minutes we have I
[1:07:15] Speaker 1: actually wanted to talk to you so when you went
[1:07:18] Speaker 1: up to Gilboa from your perspective, you know, I'm sure
[1:07:24] Speaker 1: you've heard a few of the encounters and sightings in
[1:07:27] Speaker 1: that area. Is is that a pretty squatchy area up
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: there in Gilboa?
[1:07:32] Speaker 2: Yeah. And I say that because literally when I was
[1:07:36] Speaker 2: at the Minekill State Park, which is you know writ
[1:07:39] Speaker 2: and Gilboa there, there there was no one in the park.
[1:07:42] Speaker 2: There wasn't even the park ranger wasn't even in the park,
[1:07:46] Speaker 2: and like I was literally the only person there, and
[1:07:50] Speaker 2: a like a flock or whatever it is, a gaggle
[1:07:54] Speaker 2: of turkeys cut me off in the parking lot, which
[1:07:57] Speaker 2: just showed you, like how like crazy and rural, Like
[1:08:01] Speaker 2: I mean, you know, turkeys are like like I one
[1:08:04] Speaker 2: time I was going back from like I think it
[1:08:06] Speaker 2: was the Pipocting Reservoir and I took you know, another
[1:08:10] Speaker 2: experience is just like taking a lot of these old
[1:08:12] Speaker 2: logging roads and just like waiting just to go over
[1:08:15] Speaker 2: a cliff, you know, because they're just so like, you know, rickety,
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: and like you know, just just seeing like having a
[1:08:23] Speaker 2: you know, like a you know, a little flock of
[1:08:26] Speaker 2: you know, turkeys cutting me off in the state park.
[1:08:28] Speaker 2: And you know, when I was there, I also saw
[1:08:31] Speaker 2: a bobcat by the side of the road. So it
[1:08:33] Speaker 2: just shows you like, I mean, these are species that
[1:08:36] Speaker 2: like avoid like people at all costs. So you're, you know,
[1:08:40] Speaker 2: it's you're you're really like you're really out in the
[1:08:42] Speaker 2: middle of nowhere, you know, and there's just like there's
[1:08:45] Speaker 2: there's no there's just not even like even outside of
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: just like the state parks. Like if you're just like
[1:08:51] Speaker 2: in the area just as like a you know, like
[1:08:55] Speaker 2: living in there, Like it's all wooded, it's all thick woods.
[1:08:59] Speaker 2: It's it's it's like a jungle like when you when
[1:09:02] Speaker 2: you go to these areas.
[1:09:08] Speaker 1: Some wild stuff. Do you have any ideas for places
[1:09:11] Speaker 1: you want to hit in the future.
[1:09:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, so I I you know, like like I said,
[1:09:17] Speaker 2: I'm going to I'm definitely going to go to the
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: uh like Alleyan National, I'm going to go to the
[1:09:23] Speaker 2: it's called like the Cook Forest. Uh, you know, a
[1:09:26] Speaker 2: bigfoot festival and Marion Marionville, PA. And uh, I'm sorry,
[1:09:31] Speaker 2: I don't know. It's a just Forest County big Foot festival.
[1:09:33] Speaker 2: It's been it's been there a couple of years. And
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: you know now that like you you're able to I'm
[1:09:39] Speaker 2: able to film like an Alleghany Reservoir. I'm going to
[1:09:43] Speaker 2: go to that area and there's there's a lot of
[1:09:46] Speaker 2: a lot of settings around like the reservoir there. So
[1:09:49] Speaker 2: that's kind of like you know, I always try and
[1:09:51] Speaker 2: I always try and go near like bodies of water
[1:09:54] Speaker 2: just because I mean I feel like that's like the
[1:09:56] Speaker 2: most you know, kind of prominent area where these creatures
[1:09:59] Speaker 2: might be. And then you know, while I'm there mostly
[1:10:02] Speaker 2: going to go to the old Grouth Farce that's there.
[1:10:06] Speaker 2: I have another places. There's a basically like where I
[1:10:10] Speaker 2: you know, I shot my like my thunderbird and like
[1:10:13] Speaker 2: there was like the snow Snowshoe videos. It's like a
[1:10:19] Speaker 2: little park called Black Black Motion Anon State Park. So
[1:10:22] Speaker 2: I'm gonna be I'm gonna be filming a video there
[1:10:24] Speaker 2: pretty soon. And uh it's you know, it's these areas
[1:10:29] Speaker 2: are just wild. There's there's nobody out there, and especially
[1:10:32] Speaker 2: with the state game lands, like it gets really gets
[1:10:35] Speaker 2: really hairy, just because you know, three quarters of the year,
[1:10:38] Speaker 2: like there's you know and p A p A has
[1:10:40] Speaker 2: like you know, the one and a half million you
[1:10:42] Speaker 2: know acres of state game land and like basically for
[1:10:47] Speaker 2: three cores of the year, really nobody nobody cares, you know,
[1:10:51] Speaker 2: or they're just they're primarily for recreation use. They're not
[1:10:54] Speaker 2: for hunting use. So it's it's not like they're just
[1:10:58] Speaker 2: strictly for you know, hunt it's it can also be
[1:11:01] Speaker 2: for you know, playing with trails, like you know, one
[1:11:03] Speaker 2: of the one of the state game lands has you know,
[1:11:06] Speaker 2: it's like has like tens of thousands of acres, you know,
[1:11:10] Speaker 2: So it's it's real like if like you could hide
[1:11:14] Speaker 2: a dinosaur like in these areas and like nobody like
[1:11:17] Speaker 2: nobody would ever know. Yeah, absolutely, and uh yeah, so
[1:11:22] Speaker 2: that's just that's that's been my experience in the past
[1:11:24] Speaker 2: couple of years. And you know, I'm, like I said,
[1:11:27] Speaker 2: with like the film background, I'm really I'm really doing
[1:11:29] Speaker 2: my best to just properly hopefully just get some type
[1:11:33] Speaker 2: of some type of footage or something, just because like
[1:11:36] Speaker 2: it's you know it, I feel like there's been such
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: like momentum for something that happened that like it's it's
[1:11:46] Speaker 2: like it needs to like be solidified, to like really cemented,
[1:11:51] Speaker 2: to hopefully try and you know kind of uh possibly
[1:11:56] Speaker 2: you know, have this have this species you know recognized,
[1:12:00] Speaker 2: even you know, if if I get like a like
[1:12:02] Speaker 2: some footage or something, you know, then getting having like
[1:12:06] Speaker 2: a proper like a proper scientist like come out to
[1:12:09] Speaker 2: the field and you know examine these areas you know,
[1:12:12] Speaker 2: hopefully you know, being able to like just just get
[1:12:16] Speaker 2: some type of like real like proper scientific, you know,
[1:12:19] Speaker 2: recognition of of what's going on, because like because because
[1:12:23] Speaker 2: something's going on, you know, and I think I think
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: it'll it'll really just give give credence to like all
[1:12:31] Speaker 2: the people, you know, Like I mean, I guess, you know, well,
[1:12:34] Speaker 2: my my strategies for really you know kind of you know,
[1:12:38] Speaker 2: searching for these creatures comes from like John Green, where
[1:12:40] Speaker 2: he was like he was like, you know, just kind
[1:12:42] Speaker 2: of like stick to like a certain area, right, like
[1:12:46] Speaker 2: don't like don't go all. I feel like if I
[1:12:49] Speaker 2: were to go to Alaska or something, I feel like
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: I would have I would land into like an alien
[1:12:54] Speaker 2: world of like trying to understand like I don't know
[1:12:57] Speaker 2: the terrain, you know. But I feel like when I
[1:12:59] Speaker 2: go out to into like the mid Atlantic region, like
[1:13:01] Speaker 2: a PA in New York, like I know, like I
[1:13:04] Speaker 2: know the forest, and I know I know what's supposed
[1:13:08] Speaker 2: to be there and what's not. You know, So just
[1:13:10] Speaker 2: by in terms of like you know, process of elimination,
[1:13:13] Speaker 2: I can really potentially you kind of kind of discover,
[1:13:17] Speaker 2: you know, what may or may not be there.
[1:13:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, I mean that reminds me of Lyle Blackburn
[1:13:23] Speaker 1: told me once become the person who's the expert for
[1:13:29] Speaker 1: the weird stuff in your area because no one else
[1:13:31] Speaker 1: is going to do it. Greg, thank you so much
[1:13:33] Speaker 1: for coming on the show today. We'll definitely be falling
[1:13:38] Speaker 1: along with your channel, and I'll have the link to
[1:13:41] Speaker 1: that in the show notes, So listeners make sure you
[1:13:43] Speaker 1: head over there next and subscribe to Greg's channel. Check
[1:13:46] Speaker 1: it out. There'll be a lot of them where you

[1:13:53] Speaker 1: was like where you've heard the encounters on this show,
[1:13:56] Speaker 1: which is pretty cool. And we'll definitely have to keep
[1:13:59] Speaker 1: in touch with you, Greg to see what happens in
[1:14:01] Speaker 1: the future. Thanks for coming on it.
[1:14:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, Jeremiah, like for having me so much. Yeah,
[1:14:07] Speaker 2: with my channel, I just try and I try and
[1:14:09] Speaker 2: have like a first person experience of things, and like
[1:14:12] Speaker 2: if I see Bigfoot for the first time, like I
[1:14:13] Speaker 2: want my audience to see Bigfoot. So that's that's my aspiration.
[1:14:17] Speaker 2: Hopefully one day, you know, when when I catch the
[1:14:20] Speaker 2: image of it, like everyone will all see it at
[1:14:23] Speaker 2: the same time, you know, and that's the I feel
[1:14:25] Speaker 2: like that's like the joy of like the filmmaking. You know,
[1:14:29] Speaker 2: I love that.
[1:14:30] Speaker 1: I love that good stuff. Man, Thank you?
[1:14:33] Speaker 2: All right, sir, all right, you have a good day.

[1:15:01] Speaker 1: better than the previous year's reason number one, I'll be
[1:15:05] Speaker 1: one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll probably
[1:15:09] Speaker 1: I'll say this. There may be stuff you haven't heard
[1:15:14] Speaker 1: anywhere else, because let's just say sometimes it's well, you

[1:17:30] Speaker 1: found tracks that didn't make sense. If you're in the
[1:17:33] Speaker 1: logging industry on a remote oil field, or a trucker
[1:17:37] Speaker 1: with government contracts and you've had something happen that you've
[1:17:41] Speaker 1: never told a soul. And if you're a biologist, a
[1:17:44] Speaker 1: wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract who has
[1:17:48] Speaker 1: found evidence you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor,
[1:17:52] Speaker 1: a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat and you
[1:17:55] Speaker 1: saw something that shook your faith, or if you work
[1:17:58] Speaker 1: in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or anything with clearance and
[1:18:02] Speaker 1: you've seen what the public hasn't, then I want to
