Note: this episode involves audio post-processing and buffering video due to intermittent technical issues with our connection. In this episode, we delve into the extraordinary experiences of Rose from Western Pennsylvania, a lifelong woods-walker, artist, and energy worker who has spent years exploring the ridges, creek beds, and forest trails near her home. What began as an uneasy feeling in a familiar hiking area slowly unfolded into something much deeper. Rose shares how a massive barefoot track in the snow first caught her attention, followed by unexplained whoops echoing through the trees and strange tree formations that didn’t sit right with her. As the months passed, activity intensified. Along a quiet creek during hunting season, she observed a pale face watching from the hillside. Moments later, a branch came flying in her direction. Weeks after that, heavy footsteps shook the ground behind her on a remote switchback trail. Rose describes repeated vocal exchanges, including a spontaneous “whale song” call that received an immediate response from the forest. She recounts growls from the ridge line, loud wood impacts, objects moved in areas she frequented, and ongoing interactions that continued into 2025. With a deep respect for the land and a sensitivity to subtle changes in her environment, Rose reflects on how these experiences reshaped the way she understands the beings she believes share that territory. Her story offers an intimate look at sustained, location-specific activity in Western Pennsylvania and explores the awareness, intelligence, and presence of these “people” in the woods. Join us as we navigate Rose’s multi-year journey and the unfolding mystery of Sasquatch in Western Pennsylvania. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? [0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Big Flat Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
[0:03] Speaker 1: In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to
[0:05] Speaker 1: bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've
[0:08] Speaker 1: seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers
[0:12] Speaker 1: to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: So stay with us, all right, Big for Society. You've
[0:32] Speaker 1: got the privilege of talking to Rose today. Rose is
[0:35] Speaker 1: an individual I got connected to about some things that
[0:39] Speaker 1: she has been experiencing out there in the state of Pennsylvania.
[0:43] Speaker 1: And we'll hear a little bit about that in a
[0:46] Speaker 1: while here, but just some info about Rose. Rose is
[0:52] Speaker 1: an individual that likes to go hiking out in the
[0:54] Speaker 1: woods with her dog and also an energy worker as well.
[0:59] Speaker 1: So welcome to the show. Rose.
[1:00] Speaker 2: How are you today? Thank you, I'm doing well. Thank
[1:05] Speaker 2: you for having me on. I really appreciate the work
[1:08] Speaker 2: that you do, the kindness of your approach is really
[1:13] Speaker 2: frout and the community that you're building is so beneficial
[1:19] Speaker 2: because this topic can be so isolating. I find at
[1:22] Speaker 2: times so thank you.
[1:26] Speaker 1: Thank you. I appreciate those kind words that that means
[1:28] Speaker 1: a lot to me. So it sounds like you have
[1:33] Speaker 1: been experiencing a few different things that are out of
[1:36] Speaker 1: the ordinary, and we'd love to hear all about it.
[1:40] Speaker 1: But before we do, is there anything else that we
[1:42] Speaker 1: need to know about you for context as well?
[1:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, So I guess to begin, I'm someone I prepare
[1:53] Speaker 2: to be in the woods. That's like where I prepare
[1:57] Speaker 2: to be where I feel most myself, and it's in
[2:00] Speaker 2: the lay. Since I was a kid, my time, I
[2:05] Speaker 2: had a friend next door. We spent a lot of
[2:07] Speaker 2: time out there. That evolved as I have gotten older.
[2:11] Speaker 2: I went to score originally for art therapy. And I'm
[2:15] Speaker 2: just going to try to explain this really quick, to
[2:18] Speaker 2: explain like the mode I'm in and how I approached
[2:21] Speaker 2: being in the woods. But I went to school for
[2:24] Speaker 2: art therapy and a lot of the art I create
[2:26] Speaker 2: is inspired by the woods or I like to be
[2:29] Speaker 2: out there creating, so ride entails me to bring a
[2:33] Speaker 2: sketch book or my camera and I find a spot trail,
[2:38] Speaker 2: usually along a creek bed, and I'm doing art. Then
[2:43] Speaker 2: I got into a massage therapy and that's when it
[2:46] Speaker 2: turned to like mindful meditation, breathing exercises again somewhere usually
[2:53] Speaker 2: along a creep like isolated wings, and I got into
[2:59] Speaker 2: things like chee and reiki. I love rake. So I'm
[3:05] Speaker 2: a bird. I'm not an advert or anything, and I
[3:08] Speaker 2: guess I should lay that out now, but I'm into
[3:12] Speaker 2: like birding. I'm a tree hugger. So my time out
[3:18] Speaker 2: there at there a grid in medicinal I would say
[3:23] Speaker 2: that instrument to dance breaks, like anything to express myself.
[3:29] Speaker 2: It's it's just been fundamental. I guess, like I have
[3:33] Speaker 2: to be out there. I guess I'll just jump right
[3:38] Speaker 2: into it. I was twenty nineteen. I was going to
[3:44] Speaker 2: different areas and there was this one in particular where
[3:48] Speaker 2: I always felt creaked out and I couldn't explain why
[3:54] Speaker 2: because I know how I feel in the woods like
[3:57] Speaker 2: and it bothered me. I remember I wrote about it too,
[4:00] Speaker 2: because I'm like, how did I feel this way out here?
[4:04] Speaker 2: And I was working on an animal shelter at the time.
[4:07] Speaker 2: I was working with dogs, So that's when I met
[4:10] Speaker 2: my dog, and it just like worked out seamlessly at
[4:15] Speaker 2: someone now that I could bring with me, and I felt,
[4:19] Speaker 2: you know a little bit more at ease. Uh So
[4:22] Speaker 2: my dog, he's a Stafford sheety Arier bloodhound. Next like
[4:26] Speaker 2: Thinkey's sixty bounds and yeah, we just started to go. Uh.
[4:31] Speaker 2: It was twenty twenty two in the creepy area where
[4:36] Speaker 2: I noticed the footprint in the snow and I saw
[4:41] Speaker 2: it and I was like, that's a big work, but
[4:45] Speaker 2: I disregarded it. I tried to disregard it at first,
[4:48] Speaker 2: where I kept coming back to it in my head
[4:51] Speaker 2: because that would Yah, it's a lot of the teak
[4:54] Speaker 2: and easy things I was having started to click. So
[5:01] Speaker 2: it was twenty twenty three in a summer when we
[5:06] Speaker 2: started to go there more often, and a summer I
[5:14] Speaker 2: just started to open myself up more, I guess to
[5:17] Speaker 2: the possibility of sasquatch being around the area, even though
[5:22] Speaker 2: I always thought of being in the PNW. I heard
[5:27] Speaker 2: stories as a kid of people having sightings, but there's
[5:31] Speaker 2: a definite dipsk between believing and knowing, Like so many
[5:35] Speaker 2: people said, So.
[5:37] Speaker 1: When you had seen those tracks, do you remember anything
[5:40] Speaker 1: about like how large they were or or details about
[5:43] Speaker 1: them that made you think like, Okay, I'm looking at
[5:45] Speaker 1: something that is obviously not a dog or a cat
[5:49] Speaker 1: or something like that. Uh.
[5:52] Speaker 2: Yeah. So it was just it was massive, bare footprints,
[5:58] Speaker 2: like there were tail impressions, and then I saw the
[6:01] Speaker 2: one was really clear, and then the second one it
[6:05] Speaker 2: seemed like a stride and it would correlate with the
[6:08] Speaker 2: natural stride of call being. But I just remembered the
[6:14] Speaker 2: total impressions and it looked like a the only you know,
[6:18] Speaker 2: I'm not sure if it was or not, actually, but
[6:23] Speaker 2: it was the catalyst I guess. That opened a door
[6:26] Speaker 2: for me to acknowledge them. I started to pay attention
[6:30] Speaker 2: to more, I guess, and I noticed the tree. There's
[6:35] Speaker 2: weird stuff going on with the trees. There's one tree
[6:39] Speaker 2: that was upside down. And I started to hear weird
[6:45] Speaker 2: vocalizations that I couldn't explain. And at the time, I
[6:49] Speaker 2: was getting to birding, so I had like my worryine
[6:52] Speaker 2: bird idea app and I want to be literate when
[6:57] Speaker 2: I'm out in the forest. So there's this one vocalization
[7:02] Speaker 2: I couldn't and I don't know, I recorded a lot
[7:06] Speaker 2: of different meats up and the vocalization it was like
[7:13] Speaker 2: like it was really it almost could be an owl
[7:15] Speaker 2: for a dog like it was. And I would google
[7:19] Speaker 2: bigfoot loops and what would come up is like I
[7:22] Speaker 2: think in Kentucky like those so like a sasquatch, but
[7:26] Speaker 2: what I it just sounds kind of like a monkey,
[7:29] Speaker 2: almost like a dog barking from Barwick. I couldn't figure
[7:32] Speaker 2: it out. And I spent so much time like looking
[7:35] Speaker 2: up every animal I could think of in the area
[7:37] Speaker 2: and what kind of sound they make, and I couldn't rout.
[7:43] Speaker 2: And then oh, there was a hamprint on the car
[7:47] Speaker 2: one time, and it was a small handprint and it
[7:51] Speaker 2: was really weird to me because it wasn't like a
[7:53] Speaker 2: kid's print hamprid because it was so slender. It was
[7:57] Speaker 2: just and I should have taken a pitch, but then
[8:00] Speaker 2: it rained and I didn't get the chance too center.
[8:08] Speaker 2: So then it was December third, twenty twenty three, and
[8:12] Speaker 2: that was it was hunting season, and it was raining
[8:18] Speaker 2: earlier in the morning and then it stopped raining. Me
[8:23] Speaker 2: and my dog I remember thinking like it's we were
[8:28] Speaker 2: the only two living beings in the forest because it
[8:31] Speaker 2: was so quiet, so I was thinking this would be
[8:36] Speaker 2: the perfect time to explore and look around because it
[8:42] Speaker 2: seems like no one's around. So intuitively, I was feeling
[8:47] Speaker 2: drawn up this creek and I was thinking of Sasquatches
[8:53] Speaker 2: in the area. I think that they would be up
[8:56] Speaker 2: here somewhere. So we started. We headed that way, and
[9:03] Speaker 2: we didn't go too far because I'm made EHD and
[9:08] Speaker 2: it was kind of like rough. Im I'm feeling creep out.
[9:12] Speaker 2: Maybe I was, and I wasn't paint. I don't know.
[9:14] Speaker 2: We just turned around. I was like, that's enough, Like
[9:17] Speaker 2: I think I was expecting to find maybe a cave,
[9:21] Speaker 2: a nest, like anything to explain like what I was feeling.
[9:26] Speaker 2: But we turned around, and this was when my dog,
[9:28] Speaker 2: he was walking by a creek. The creek there's a
[9:32] Speaker 2: bend in the creek, and so I pulled out my
[9:35] Speaker 2: phone to record, and I actually have the recording. It's
[9:39] Speaker 2: like twenty seconds song, but around the five second mark
[9:42] Speaker 2: he had that is his head up, so I don't
[9:46] Speaker 2: know if he noticed something before me. The way the
[9:49] Speaker 2: creek fence and there's a clip side and the hill
[9:55] Speaker 2: recedes back far, so I was recording straight ahead, and
[10:03] Speaker 2: so I'm like, this is gonna be hard to explain.
[10:06] Speaker 2: I'm looking at my phone, my eyes are open, but
[10:08] Speaker 2: then all of a sudden, I'm seeing to the left
[10:11] Speaker 2: me like, and I'm seeing the hillside where it curves,
[10:15] Speaker 2: and I'm seeing this head like looked down at us.
[10:20] Speaker 2: And I stopped the recording after and I turned and
[10:30] Speaker 2: I looked, and I didn't see anyone there. So then
[10:33] Speaker 2: I'm frozen and I'm trying to listen for any sign.
[10:38] Speaker 2: So that was actually a person, and I'm listening for
[10:41] Speaker 2: any leaves wrestling and my was like there walking in
[10:46] Speaker 2: the creek still. I was like, I couldn't hear anything,
[10:50] Speaker 2: so I let it go. I was like, I just
[10:54] Speaker 2: you know, I'll imagine that. And we continued the way
[10:59] Speaker 2: the trail though you have to cross the creek, and
[11:03] Speaker 2: so we were on the other side, and then we
[11:05] Speaker 2: turned around because we were doing it out in walk,
[11:09] Speaker 2: and when we turned around, my dog gets up the
[11:14] Speaker 2: stick and was playing with it. So I was throwing
[11:17] Speaker 2: up for him and I was steering him one and
[11:22] Speaker 2: just like little, you know, try to be quick because
[11:24] Speaker 2: if my dog gets the stick, I can't get a
[11:26] Speaker 2: vacuum place to out of war so arounded the creek
[11:31] Speaker 2: where I saw the faith, and all of a sudden,
[11:34] Speaker 2: this branch comes flying towards us. And I saw it
[11:37] Speaker 2: towards the tail end of the trajectory and it was
[11:41] Speaker 2: kind of like from the hillside the corazont. So when
[11:47] Speaker 2: that happened, oh, I would like pink crows, and I'm
[11:52] Speaker 2: looking up like I'm trying to see if there's any
[11:55] Speaker 2: animals around. There is nothing. It wasn't lidy that day,
[12:02] Speaker 2: and that I'm thinking of the face. So I pull
[12:05] Speaker 2: out my phone and I'm recording like the trees, because
[12:08] Speaker 2: if I have a camera, I feel like, you know,
[12:11] Speaker 2: it's like kind of like safety like because they don't
[12:14] Speaker 2: want to be on camera. That's what people say. So
[12:17] Speaker 2: I'm recording and I almost, for like a brief second,
[12:22] Speaker 2: had a panic attack because I was thinking, what if
[12:24] Speaker 2: more branches come flying towards us, or what if someone
[12:30] Speaker 2: does appear from behind like sasquatch and he chases us out?
[12:34] Speaker 2: And I had a lay to vest On at the time.
[12:37] Speaker 2: We had to go up hills and down rocks like
[12:40] Speaker 2: it's it was two miles to get back to my car.
[12:43] Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, oh, like where I travel
[12:47] Speaker 2: if something comes chased on us and then luckilly after
[12:51] Speaker 2: that nothing happened, but it was, yeah, it was something else.
[13:00] Speaker 2: So the face that I saw, it was I remember,
[13:05] Speaker 2: there are three things that really stood out to me,
[13:07] Speaker 2: and it was like a bull haircut with like I
[13:10] Speaker 2: just put dark hair and pale skin, and then two
[13:14] Speaker 2: like black eyes, like they were like lemon shape. And
[13:18] Speaker 2: at the time what I enrigon sasquatch to look like
[13:22] Speaker 2: was something like patty or like dark skin. I'd hear
[13:25] Speaker 2: about glowing red eyes. So this was a face that
[13:31] Speaker 2: did not come from my accuation because I couldn't imagine
[13:35] Speaker 2: a face like this. It's outside of me, if that
[13:39] Speaker 2: makes sense, like what I could think of. So for
[13:44] Speaker 2: that situation, if it was just the branch or just
[13:48] Speaker 2: the face that I saw, I think I could disregard it.
[13:53] Speaker 2: But it was both of those things that happened like
[13:56] Speaker 2: close to one. So that was December, December eighteen. This
[14:03] Speaker 2: was when the hunting season was over and we went
[14:10] Speaker 2: out again. It was kind of like a rainy morning,
[14:12] Speaker 2: but it stopped. It's always like humid, sure like cold humid.
[14:18] Speaker 2: So we were on top of this ridge and I
[14:22] Speaker 2: could hear these rope rovations. It sounded like men either
[14:28] Speaker 2: in a choir or men yelling, like singing or yelling.
[14:33] Speaker 2: I started listening and then at the tree line the
[14:36] Speaker 2: ridge like it starts to go downhill, I could hear
[14:40] Speaker 2: ristink growling and it was really subtle, but it was unmistakable,
[14:49] Speaker 2: like I could hear a growl, and I looked. My
[14:52] Speaker 2: dog was behind me, and I turned around and looked
[14:55] Speaker 2: at him and he was looking exactly where I heard
[14:59] Speaker 2: the sound. So, and this was yeah, December eighteenth, so
[15:03] Speaker 2: it was like two week later. So I pull out
[15:07] Speaker 2: my phone because I'm like, okay, here we go. Because
[15:11] Speaker 2: at the time, I was thinking, you know, it's going
[15:13] Speaker 2: to be easy to get big Foot on camera, Like
[15:17] Speaker 2: if it's a blob squatch, then that's fine, but I'm
[15:20] Speaker 2: going to get him on camera and I'm going to
[15:22] Speaker 2: send it to my cousin who loved Dasklatch. I thought
[15:26] Speaker 2: maybe I was in their line of travel, and maybe
[15:31] Speaker 2: the growl was because they were annoyed that I was
[15:35] Speaker 2: in their way. It seemed like two individuals wearing to
[15:39] Speaker 2: meet up basically, So I, me and my dog were
[15:46] Speaker 2: walking towards where we heard the whoop and then it
[15:49] Speaker 2: was about like ten minutes later, big storm Blue Room,
[15:56] Speaker 2: and I was I have a four stecond video. I
[15:59] Speaker 2: was recording everything at the time, and I'm glad I
[16:02] Speaker 2: did because now I can like look back and guarding
[16:05] Speaker 2: Lombardi's it was like branches kind of were like falling down,
[16:12] Speaker 2: and that's one thing I do not want to be
[16:16] Speaker 2: out there in a windstorm. Like. So we were hustling
[16:20] Speaker 2: back to my card and it was a short system.
[16:24] Speaker 2: But then after that happened, I just like, we're thinking,
[16:29] Speaker 2: was rat Graul a warning about the weather? Right? Were
[16:33] Speaker 2: we in the way of their travel? But now, given
[16:39] Speaker 2: any experiences I think that I have had, I don't
[16:45] Speaker 2: think they have any problem traveling around me and not
[16:50] Speaker 2: being seen like they do it kind of often. So yeah,
[16:58] Speaker 2: that was gonna just sadber eighteen, right, So then nothing
[17:06] Speaker 2: happened for a while, And then it was February fifteenth,
[17:11] Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, when we started on the trail that
[17:18] Speaker 2: we've been going on where I've been having encounters, and
[17:21] Speaker 2: we just we both were like looking up the hill
[17:25] Speaker 2: and we're like, no, like we need to switch it
[17:28] Speaker 2: up today. So we got back in my car and
[17:32] Speaker 2: I drove to a different trail. Head right. I've been
[17:37] Speaker 2: well once before, but I wasn't really familiar with bro
[17:41] Speaker 2: We're starting out. We're about like a half mellon and
[17:45] Speaker 2: I could start hearing these branches breaking, like I wasn't
[17:51] Speaker 2: sure I was branches breaking or being thrown. So I
[17:55] Speaker 2: took world of rite and I was like, all right,
[17:57] Speaker 2: so we're probably gonna see someone up ahead. But I
[18:02] Speaker 2: was kind of thinking it was gonna be a person
[18:04] Speaker 2: because we have deer and karyote here, but that's about it.
[18:08] Speaker 2: So we're going up there and the air started to
[18:15] Speaker 2: feel a word all stay and the way the trail
[18:21] Speaker 2: is it it stops and then it turns. I guess
[18:27] Speaker 2: it's like a switch brun It goes to the right,
[18:31] Speaker 2: and it's kind of so to the raft. There's a valley,
[18:39] Speaker 2: there's a stream, there's a bunch of pine trees. It's
[18:42] Speaker 2: like low visibility, so I can't see in there. Broke
[18:47] Speaker 2: me right on, turn right and go up the hill.
[18:51] Speaker 2: And then that's when we hear too heavy but falls right,
[18:56] Speaker 2: boom boom, too heavy for it, steps in the ground,
[19:00] Speaker 2: suck under. I swear I was vibration undernath my feet
[19:03] Speaker 2: like it seemed like surreal. So in that moment, I
[19:10] Speaker 2: was like, this was a mistake. We should not have
[19:13] Speaker 2: switched it up and like have come on this trail
[19:16] Speaker 2: because something's behind. I turned around the look there was
[19:20] Speaker 2: like nothing there and yeah, so I wanted to turn
[19:26] Speaker 2: around in that moment, but I was like, well we
[19:30] Speaker 2: turn around, we're probably gonna walk by someone in the bush.
[19:34] Speaker 2: And it's like I don't want to get that clothes.
[19:38] Speaker 2: So we kept going. So we round the switch back
[19:41] Speaker 2: and then we're paraleund around or we're on top of
[19:45] Speaker 2: the ridge and where the stream in the valley, and
[19:48] Speaker 2: then I hear another whoop and then there's this dog
[19:52] Speaker 2: on a nearby property that started to like bark because
[19:57] Speaker 2: I put on my front door cord after hurried beloop
[20:02] Speaker 2: and all I thought was the dog barking. But the
[20:06] Speaker 2: dog was very agitating, So I don't keep walking about
[20:12] Speaker 2: like the forty five narrow and the trail is just beautiful,
[20:17] Speaker 2: like it was my first time on a lot of
[20:20] Speaker 2: parks because I only went so far before and turned around,
[20:25] Speaker 2: so it was like really beautiful and I was taking patchures.
[20:30] Speaker 2: And then we get to the point where we're turning
[20:33] Speaker 2: around to go back to my car and run, I
[20:37] Speaker 2: hear the loudest things, like, I have no clue. It
[20:40] Speaker 2: did not sound like I know I've heard people like
[20:43] Speaker 2: pull on a tree. It wasn't that it was so loud.
[20:50] Speaker 2: I just knew like we pissed someone off that day.
[20:53] Speaker 2: And I don't know why, but or how, I don't know,
[20:58] Speaker 2: So I were I didn't know what to do when
[21:01] Speaker 2: I heard those loud things, so I just I was
[21:06] Speaker 2: just like, listen, I don't know, like where the road,
[21:10] Speaker 2: like I don't know where this trail is taking us,
[21:13] Speaker 2: and I have to go to work, like we have
[21:16] Speaker 2: to turn around here. We're just gonna mind our business,
[21:19] Speaker 2: like please just like leave us. Well, I think I
[21:21] Speaker 2: said that out loud. And we walked back and there
[21:25] Speaker 2: was no problems. But whenever we got back to the
[21:28] Speaker 2: switchback part, my dog's hair on his neck was standing
[21:33] Speaker 2: up and that that's unconnon for it for him. I
[21:37] Speaker 2: know he was feeling a type of way. I was
[21:39] Speaker 2: feeling a type of way. Oh, and then we went
[21:42] Speaker 2: back there a couple of day with Raiter on that trail,
[21:45] Speaker 2: there was a tree down Kurrie right where the switchback
[21:49] Speaker 2: is in the trail. Well, it just seemed like that
[21:52] Speaker 2: was communicated to us and I don't I own well,
[21:59] Speaker 2: that was a bad trailed to be on. But with like,
[22:03] Speaker 2: I was scared, but I didn't know if you're like
[22:06] Speaker 2: under attap or brightened. So that was free.
[22:14] Speaker 1: February about two years ago. And uh, we're not seeing
[22:20] Speaker 1: the exact location, just to keep things safe. But you're
[22:26] Speaker 1: okay with mentioning that it's western Pennsylvania. Correct, Yes, okay, perfect, perfect?
[22:40] Speaker 1: Maybe A few questions for you real quick because you're
[22:43] Speaker 1: you're an artist and you've got, you know that that mindset,
[22:47] Speaker 1: which is awesome. So thinking back to when you had
[22:52] Speaker 1: that sighting of what looked to be faced with a
[22:58] Speaker 1: bowl cut and you said it definitely didn't look like Patty.
[23:04] Speaker 1: Have you did what you the image that you saw
[23:08] Speaker 1: that day? Has anything else? Have you seen any other
[23:12] Speaker 1: art of Bigfoot that comes close to that? Or is
[23:15] Speaker 1: this completely different than anything you've seen?
[23:23] Speaker 2: WHOA, It's hard for me to say it because I'm
[23:30] Speaker 2: forgetting her name. Is her name Sibyl or something? Yes? Yes,
[23:39] Speaker 2: So I think I was looking at her portfolio and
[23:44] Speaker 2: she has amazing work and I think she had one
[23:49] Speaker 2: in Vancouver, and I was like, if anything looks similar,
[23:53] Speaker 2: it's maybe boss because there's pale skin and it looked
[23:57] Speaker 2: like a hood and then dark eyes. But other than that, no, okay, gotcha.
[24:05] Speaker 2: It was a round head from you know, and then
[24:12] Speaker 2: it almost it almost reminded me of like Mayan culture
[24:17] Speaker 2: face like mine symbolizers in that wide cheek browns and
[24:23] Speaker 2: just very yeah round air face.
[24:27] Speaker 1: Sure you said there were dark eyes. Were there any
[24:33] Speaker 1: whites on the edges of the eyes or was it
[24:35] Speaker 1: the entire eye was dark?
[24:40] Speaker 2: You know? It was It was really weird because there
[24:45] Speaker 2: were dark eyes, but there was like a white it
[24:48] Speaker 2: looked like a white film film something like over top
[24:53] Speaker 2: of them. And so it wasn't like Jet Black wore
[24:59] Speaker 2: about me sense. I don't know.
[25:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, did that experience kick off anything else weird happening
[25:13] Speaker 1: to you in your life, like maybe really intense dreams
[25:16] Speaker 1: or anything else out of the ordinary start to happen
[25:19] Speaker 1: when you got back to your home, anything like that, Not.
[25:27] Speaker 2: That I recall. I mean, I'm very okay with the paranormal,
[25:32] Speaker 2: Like I just see that as a factive life, Like
[25:35] Speaker 2: there's unseen energies, there's spirits, there's energetic attachments, there's residual energy,
[25:45] Speaker 2: so I've kind of like me, I'm energetically sensitive. So
[25:51] Speaker 2: if there is something that happened, I wouldn't have even noticed,
[25:55] Speaker 2: right really, But yeah, nothing, okay.
[26:01] Speaker 1: So that that is kind of in a way saying
[26:05] Speaker 1: you your focus. You may have been experiencing things like
[26:12] Speaker 1: that already focused, being focused on energy and things like that. Yeah,
[26:19] Speaker 1: I got you the experience that you had two years
[26:24] Speaker 1: ago in February. Was that the last the most recent
[26:27] Speaker 1: thing that you've had happen or have there been things
[26:29] Speaker 1: that have happened since then?
[26:33] Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, no. So I took a break and the
[26:40] Speaker 2: spring of twenty four, I was hanging around these bad
[26:43] Speaker 2: eagles right go to the lake, and I just yeah,
[26:49] Speaker 2: I needed a break in. I was working on befriending
[26:53] Speaker 2: the eagles, and so I would break, oh, try to
[26:55] Speaker 2: get cross and frond them, reiki and just like bee
[26:58] Speaker 2: in their presence. So it was twenty twenty five in
[27:03] Speaker 2: the summer, I would hear like different vocalizations and stuff,
[27:09] Speaker 2: but I kind of just forgot about it, like not forgot,
[27:13] Speaker 2: but you know, I just like where it go because
[27:17] Speaker 2: I don't know if I was in denial or what.
[27:20] Speaker 2: So it was summer twenty twenty five, and uh, we
[27:25] Speaker 2: were down by the creek where the stick was thrown
[27:27] Speaker 2: at us, and I just remember. So it's kind of embarrassing,
[27:35] Speaker 2: but me and my dog got this thing. There's a
[27:40] Speaker 2: song on YouTube, the Whale Song, and it has like
[27:42] Speaker 2: ten million views. Me and my dog probably contributed a
[27:45] Speaker 2: million of those views because growing up I always had eagles,
[27:50] Speaker 2: which are very vocal dogs, and my dog, he doesn't bark,
[27:53] Speaker 2: like the only bark is someone's coming to our front door.
[27:57] Speaker 2: So he and I played whale song. He starts singing.
[28:02] Speaker 2: I call it singing brands, like how so I don't
[28:05] Speaker 2: have service by this creek? But I was like really red,
[28:10] Speaker 2: sing like well, and I read it RiPP yeah, reflap.
[28:17] Speaker 2: If I knew like anyone was around, I wouldn't have
[28:19] Speaker 2: done that because embarrassing. But I sing like I'd made
[28:24] Speaker 2: the hump back west, and something responded right away, and
[28:29] Speaker 2: it wasn't And now it wasn't coyotes, and we're around
[28:34] Speaker 2: coyotes a lot, and I have no clue like it responded,
[28:39] Speaker 2: and so I made the sound back, and then again
[28:42] Speaker 2: a reply, and then the third time I think I hesitated,
[28:46] Speaker 2: but there was no reply or just quiet.
[28:50] Speaker 1: The whale area was the same area as before. You're singing, yeah,
[28:56] Speaker 1: I was.
[28:57] Speaker 2: The stick was thrown. Uh so every responded like in
[29:03] Speaker 2: a similar like what I The sound I made was repeated.
[29:09] Speaker 2: I know, it's crazy. And so when we went that's whenever,
[29:14] Speaker 2: I was kind of like, oh, they're still around this area.
[29:18] Speaker 2: And when we went back up the hill, I could
[29:22] Speaker 2: hear like these clicks, like it sounded like a pen
[29:25] Speaker 2: clicking or something. It felt like the ore eye run us. No.
[29:30] Speaker 2: I just kind of pull my ass like I didn't know.
[29:34] Speaker 2: I didn't know, and now I hear like people say, like, oh,
[29:37] Speaker 2: whale song, it's a response. I didn't know that. So
[29:42] Speaker 2: that was in the summer of twenty twenty five.
[29:45] Speaker 1: I have also heard that some individuals who use whale
[29:49] Speaker 1: songs out there as well.
[29:50] Speaker 2: If you work on YouTube, ro a whale song or
[29:53] Speaker 2: it's just like the humpback rail.
[29:55] Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha.
[29:57] Speaker 2: So that was the summer, so I kind of like,
[30:00] Speaker 2: I was like, I'm pretty sure they are still around.
[30:04] Speaker 2: I don't know, but you know, we switched it up
[30:06] Speaker 2: like I was of the game Lands. I like to
[30:09] Speaker 2: I got in surrunning, so they just it wasn't a
[30:13] Speaker 2: priority for me to think about Sasquat. And there it
[30:19] Speaker 2: was the beginning of September this past year, twenty twenty five.
[30:24] Speaker 2: I was listening to Sasquatch Chronicle and he had West
[30:29] Speaker 2: had Logan on from the for Live Strip, who I
[30:33] Speaker 2: think was on your program too, Yes, yeah, but what
[30:39] Speaker 2: I loved and he is, like you could tell, like
[30:41] Speaker 2: very methodical researcher. So I was just I had it
[30:44] Speaker 2: on my car speaker driving home from work and just
[30:51] Speaker 2: like relaxed. Rogan's woice is so cloning and on a
[30:57] Speaker 2: sudden they've played provocalations from Allegeny National Force, which isn't
[31:04] Speaker 2: far and I just like Gros, like I could not
[31:09] Speaker 2: believe the whoops that I was hearing for so long
[31:13] Speaker 2: that drove me ruts that I spent so much time
[31:16] Speaker 2: like researching trying to figure out like what animal makes
[31:20] Speaker 2: this noise? Then playing wild on my figer and I
[31:26] Speaker 2: like screamed in my hand. I was like I knew,
[31:29] Speaker 2: I knew it. I mean, I don't know why I
[31:32] Speaker 2: needed that outside confer mes, but hearing it in that way,
[31:39] Speaker 2: just like I changed everything for me because that was
[31:44] Speaker 2: the first time I felt Crawford moles and I felt like,
[31:48] Speaker 2: maybe I'm not losing my mind. These things happening which
[31:53] Speaker 2: I didn't even tell you. I'm not like the self
[31:57] Speaker 2: be tree that I sometimes use. New there were like
[32:01] Speaker 2: trees moving around. I would on the word trail. I
[32:06] Speaker 2: were properly bank prone. I did this like two or
[32:09] Speaker 2: three times because it's just me and my dog out there,
[32:13] Speaker 2: and I'm like, I want to take a picture. So
[32:17] Speaker 2: the lot it was a fallen log like a grown tree,
[32:21] Speaker 2: and it was right off the trail, and I put
[32:24] Speaker 2: my phone on there, and I think one time it
[32:26] Speaker 2: was early morning, so I used the flash and then
[32:30] Speaker 2: I noticed like sometime the log was pulled back and
[32:36] Speaker 2: log don't do that like and I could tell I
[32:39] Speaker 2: was pulled back because I knew where it was in
[32:41] Speaker 2: relation to the trail, and there was there's like wood
[32:45] Speaker 2: chips like the bark residue like two or three feet
[32:50] Speaker 2: and and then for a gord measure, I broke the
[32:54] Speaker 2: tree branch right and frown the log, and I send
[33:00] Speaker 2: you get a picture tree branch I didn't take. I
[33:03] Speaker 2: was freaked out when I saw that. So I'm going
[33:07] Speaker 2: to take a picture and now like weeds cover where
[33:11] Speaker 2: the bark where you can see where it was cooled back,
[33:15] Speaker 2: but the branch on the standing tree next to it
[33:18] Speaker 2: being broken. It just seemed like, yeah, for good murder.
[33:22] Speaker 2: And I'm pretty sure I know why they did that,
[33:24] Speaker 2: because I think they traveled through a rat brush and
[33:28] Speaker 2: there's like falling timber raup on the hill. So I
[33:31] Speaker 2: don't know. If I try to like look back and
[33:34] Speaker 2: find that video or picture I took, I can't find it, right.
[33:39] Speaker 2: I don't know, like if there's something in the background
[33:42] Speaker 2: but they there's no way that log like how does
[33:45] Speaker 2: that move? Then in the gangs spread, I was pretty
[33:50] Speaker 2: sure that was them, And yeah, I know that was them.
[33:55] Speaker 1: Wow, you are definitely experiencing some really really interesting things
[34:00] Speaker 1: out there over the last few years.
[34:04] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, So everything started to change after I heard
[34:08] Speaker 2: that episode of Grogan. I was like, I feel so rude,
[34:13] Speaker 2: Like I feel rude. I'm in that area, probably so
[34:17] Speaker 2: annoying from here, like well pretty frequently. So I was like,
[34:23] Speaker 2: I'm gonna bring apples to show respect basically, right, I'm
[34:27] Speaker 2: not trying. I kind of give them up getting them
[34:31] Speaker 2: on camera. Like it's just a lot of work. So
[34:35] Speaker 2: I was like, I'm going to read an apple, and
[34:38] Speaker 2: I kind of left it where activity has happened, like
[34:43] Speaker 2: where the stick was thrown at us. And then I
[34:46] Speaker 2: left the apple that the next day and there's one
[34:50] Speaker 2: apple bron I looked too, and one apple had a
[34:53] Speaker 2: small bright mark in it, So I figured I did
[34:55] Speaker 2: in the animal guard. So I left some more apples
[35:00] Speaker 2: and and I gave intent and I looked, try to
[35:04] Speaker 2: give some reiki two like good vibes, like bank, you
[35:07] Speaker 2: for sharing this area with me, like you know you
[35:10] Speaker 2: guys are removal. The next day we got on a trail,
[35:13] Speaker 2: I heard a whoop and every break it's not exuberant
[35:16] Speaker 2: and excited, and my heart started beating so fast I
[35:20] Speaker 2: couldn't believe. I couldn't believe it. And so yeah, since
[35:28] Speaker 2: then there's been stuff happening. I think I think I
[35:33] Speaker 2: bought a big bag of apples, right, we're specific intention
[35:38] Speaker 2: to give them all to it for them, And I
[35:42] Speaker 2: think I did a little too much too fast, because
[35:46] Speaker 2: there is one morning where there is a huge womb
[35:50] Speaker 2: and it was from an oak tree falling timber like
[35:55] Speaker 2: one half of the truck bell for the leaves were
[35:59] Speaker 2: green when I fell, and then they turned purple and
[36:02] Speaker 2: sitting on the forest war but it was like in
[36:06] Speaker 2: the trail, and I took that as a message to me,
[36:09] Speaker 2: like that rough gets them. Maybe maybe my intentions were
[36:15] Speaker 2: being questioned or like it was like a trap because
[36:19] Speaker 2: we you know, I was hiking so long in that
[36:21] Speaker 2: area with like you know, and now for a shift
[36:26] Speaker 2: of change, I could see why they might welcome me
[36:30] Speaker 2: as sastracious. But it was funny because I felt like
[36:35] Speaker 2: I was getting mixed messages because on the one trail
[36:39] Speaker 2: there's about the cheese, it's one day and there's hikers,
[36:44] Speaker 2: but it just seemed like like where I was, where
[36:46] Speaker 2: I was at. And then there was a couple of
[36:49] Speaker 2: days later, some with heranola bar wrapper, and it felt
[36:52] Speaker 2: like someone else was saying to me, like bring us
[36:55] Speaker 2: these and you know, I have that brought back. But
[37:00] Speaker 2: I sometimes like we've an offering because like we're a
[37:04] Speaker 2: we're a polite thing to do. Yeah, okay, And after yeah,
[37:15] Speaker 2: after I with the apples, then I was just really
[37:20] Speaker 2: started to change. My dog hmm, I mean junkie sometimes
[37:30] Speaker 2: in there, I know he gets nervous, and at first
[37:34] Speaker 2: he was like looking at me I know he senses
[37:39] Speaker 2: something because his eyebrows will rings and his eyes will
[37:42] Speaker 2: get real big, and he's like looking at around. So
[37:46] Speaker 2: whenever I would leave apples, who kind of a look
[37:50] Speaker 2: at me like wtf are you doing? Right? I felt
[37:55] Speaker 2: bad for him, I know that for him. But then
[38:01] Speaker 2: I started to notice, Yeah, I started to notice what
[38:07] Speaker 2: we would be around the area and he could jump
[38:09] Speaker 2: eat and so I was feeling back for him. So
[38:12] Speaker 2: I said, like out loud, like hey, like just leave
[38:15] Speaker 2: him alone, just like let me see you, like just
[38:18] Speaker 2: interact with me. And then in my head I heard
[38:21] Speaker 2: you don't make the rule like that throw through. I
[38:26] Speaker 2: don't like, I don't know if that was mine speak. Yeah,
[38:29] Speaker 2: that was like you're right, you're right, and uh yeah
[38:35] Speaker 2: that was a message. And then there's I don't want
[38:40] Speaker 2: to jump around. There's one more incident where I heard
[38:46] Speaker 2: I don't know if it was mine speak, but yeah,
[38:52] Speaker 2: I can tell you about that. That can't like most
[38:57] Speaker 2: recent pounter. But first when I said that, it's kind
[39:04] Speaker 2: of like since I left out those apples, like people
[39:09] Speaker 2: would be coming to check me out, like two or
[39:11] Speaker 2: three at a time, like just to be like who
[39:14] Speaker 2: is this person now? Because I swear I would see
[39:19] Speaker 2: I don't know how to explain it, the red moving
[39:22] Speaker 2: energy like going around its sometimes and my dog that
[39:27] Speaker 2: he'd been looking at it too. And so this was
[39:30] Speaker 2: in the fall. Yeah, I started to get headaches like
[39:38] Speaker 2: whenever I would notice that energy. I don't know, they're
[39:43] Speaker 2: not I'm not prone to migraines, like if I wake
[39:47] Speaker 2: up with a headache, maybe that's one thing. But it
[39:50] Speaker 2: was specifically while I was out there, I feel like
[39:54] Speaker 2: a headache coming on those things where I noticed a
[39:58] Speaker 2: lot energy moving around us. And but really there's been
[40:08] Speaker 2: times where it has really sounded like people walking up
[40:12] Speaker 2: to us and they're about to walk out of the
[40:14] Speaker 2: bushes and we're face to face. That's out. It sounds.
[40:24] Speaker 1: Oh well, and then no one shows up there, no.
[40:30] Speaker 2: And I get nervous and leave. But so that's something
[40:34] Speaker 2: like just sitting there as something that we're all working on.
[40:40] Speaker 2: But with the snow, I haven't been noticing, Jim. But
[40:45] Speaker 2: I also the one that I brought a liar up,
[40:48] Speaker 2: which is a six I was sixteen string heart. It's
[40:51] Speaker 2: like the size of our five star notebook, and I
[40:54] Speaker 2: put there on my back. I was like, I want
[40:55] Speaker 2: to see like move rick now because that writes my
[40:59] Speaker 2: whale song. So yeah, I went by the creak and
[41:04] Speaker 2: I was playing at ohetto. I don't really know how
[41:06] Speaker 2: to play it, but a harp is gonna sound like
[41:09] Speaker 2: the swimmer like he's strumming. And I was putting it away.
[41:13] Speaker 2: I was playing with their with first five lines or
[41:16] Speaker 2: I'd played away and then it was like, well, after
[41:20] Speaker 2: I put it in my backpack and we were heading out,
[41:25] Speaker 2: I could hear vocal ravens again and it sounded like
[41:28] Speaker 2: like babies or something like. Yeah, like I didn't sound
[41:33] Speaker 2: like an how to me at all, and that wasn't
[41:36] Speaker 2: the ball. I don't even think als are having their babies.
[41:40] Speaker 2: And it wasn't Patty Eovius. So I don't know what else.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Or I had that response with a liar. Sure.
[41:49] Speaker 1: Wow, that's interesting because I hear a lot of people
[41:53] Speaker 1: they're like they'll have played some strange instrument that's not
[41:58] Speaker 1: normal to the area and then they get response like
[42:01] Speaker 1: bagpipes or stuff like that and so or so far horn,
[42:05] Speaker 1: you know, things like that.
[42:08] Speaker 2: There's been so much like happening, and the areas that
[42:13] Speaker 2: I'm having these encounters are areas like it's for repeat,
[42:18] Speaker 2: repeated areas of activity, like the switchback where we heard
[42:24] Speaker 2: the footsteps we were there. This happened sometime in the fall,
[42:29] Speaker 2: November or something. I just felt this urge to turn around.
[42:33] Speaker 2: I turn around, you know, I where I saw like
[42:36] Speaker 2: it looked like an outline like crawling kind of behind us.
[42:41] Speaker 2: And I saw that, and then it was like boom,
[42:44] Speaker 2: boom boom. There's quick succession of snapping one like I
[42:50] Speaker 2: don't know if you ever experienced that, but I have.
[42:54] Speaker 2: It's like I've seen a couple of feet. So as
[43:00] Speaker 2: soon as I turned around and I saw like it
[43:02] Speaker 2: looked like an outline coming behind, it's like steps up
[43:06] Speaker 2: sid really quick. So yeah, yeah, that's happening a few
[43:13] Speaker 2: times with a snap.
[43:15] Speaker 1: That's interesting. Makes you really wonder what you've got going
[43:21] Speaker 1: on in there. I mean, you've got definitely an activity
[43:24] Speaker 1: going on in there. But Rose, it has been so
[43:28] Speaker 1: good to hear your story. Thank you so much for
[43:31] Speaker 1: coming on the show. We just lost camera again. Hold on,
[43:39] Speaker 1: oh there you go. Nope, let's try that.
[43:43] Speaker 2: There.
[43:43] Speaker 1: You are all right, But yeah, we have had some
[43:47] Speaker 1: interesting tech stuff happen. But that's all right. It's kind
[43:50] Speaker 1: of normal. For this show. But thank you so much
[43:52] Speaker 1: for coming on and definitely keep us in the loop.
[43:55] Speaker 1: If you continue to experience more things in these areas.
[43:59] Speaker 1: We would love to hear Autumn.
[44:02] Speaker 2: I thank you. Yeah, I well for sure.
[44:07] Speaker 1: Have you ever heard all the accounts of bigfoot activity
[44:10] Speaker 1: around Oakridge, Oregon? And you think to yourself, Man, I
[44:13] Speaker 1: would love to get out in those woods and experience
[44:16] Speaker 1: it for myself. Well, guess what this year you can
[44:21] Speaker 1: If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's
[44:24] Speaker 1: pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July tenth
[44:29] Speaker 1: through the eleventh, twenty twenty six. It's going to be
[44:33] Speaker 1: even better than the previous year's. Reason number one, I'll
[44:37] Speaker 1: be one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll
[44:40] Speaker 1: probably I'll say this, there may be stuff you haven't
[44:45] Speaker 1: heard anywhere else, because let's just say sometimes it's well,
[44:52] Speaker 1: you just got to be there. We'll leave it that
[44:54] Speaker 1: more about looking for Bigfoot in the Oakridge Woods. Now
[44:57] Speaker 1: check this out. You may know Ja Kenzie from his
[45:02] Speaker 1: documentary series Searching for Sasquatch. Well, this year you can
[45:07] Speaker 1: not only go to the festival, but you can also
[45:11] Speaker 1: sign up for a track deep in the wild forest
[45:18] Speaker 1: outside of Oakridge with Jason Kenzie to the Bigfoot Spots
[45:23] Speaker 1: to look for Bigfoot. There's only eight spots to sign
[45:26] Speaker 1: up for this, and yes, this will also be filmed
[45:30] Speaker 1: for the next chapter in his documentary series, which is
[45:33] Speaker 1: Searching for Sasquatch. This is a once in a lifetime deal.
[45:36] Speaker 1: It's just it's going to be a wild, wild experience.
[45:41] Speaker 1: To get a ticket, head on over to Sasquatch Summerfest
[45:45] Speaker 1: dot com and listeners can use the code b sp
[45:51] Speaker 1: like Bigfoot Society Podcast in order to get a two
[45:54] Speaker 1: day pass for the price of a one day pass.
[45:57] Speaker 1: So thanks to Priscilla for giving me that code so
[46:02] Speaker 1: that you guys can can get a little help with
[46:09] Speaker 1: the cost there. Appreciate that, Priscilla. I hope to see
[46:12] Speaker 1: you at the booth in Oakridge this year. We can
[46:16] Speaker 1: talk about your encounter. Was able to talk to so
[46:19] Speaker 1: many people last year and the year before. It is
[46:22] Speaker 1: an incredible time. You're not going to want to miss it,
[46:25] Speaker 1: and I'll see you there. Before we wrap this episode,
[46:30] Speaker 1: I want to say something directly to a very specific
[46:33] Speaker 1: group of listeners. If you're in the military, any branch
[46:36] Speaker 1: or forces and if you've seen something that no one
[46:39] Speaker 1: can explain, or if you're a National Park ranger or
[46:42] Speaker 1: forestryt worker who's been told to stay quiet, or if
[46:46] Speaker 1: you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
[46:50] Speaker 1: or if you're with the FBI a federal agency, or
[46:53] Speaker 1: working intelligence and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed
[46:56] Speaker 1: to talk about. And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or
[46:59] Speaker 1: search and rescue responder who's heard screams or found tracks
[47:03] Speaker 1: that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging industry
[47:07] Speaker 1: on a remote oil field, or a trucker with government
[47:10] Speaker 1: contracts and you've had something happen that you've never told
[47:14] Speaker 1: a soul. And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist,
[47:17] Speaker 1: or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence
[47:21] Speaker 1: you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor, a missionary,
[47:25] Speaker 1: or someone on a spiritual retreat and you saw something
[47:28] Speaker 1: that shook your faith, or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA,
[47:33] Speaker 1: or anything with clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't,
[47:37] Speaker 1: then I want to talk to you, even if it's anonymous.
[47:43] Speaker 1: You can reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.
[47:47] Speaker 1: The world needs to hear what you've been forced to
[47:49] Speaker 1: carry alone, and you're not alone. You've got the story,
[47:55] Speaker 1: We've got the mic. See you in the woods. Thank
[47:59] Speaker 1: you listening to this episode of the Bigfoot Society Podcast.
[48:02] Speaker 1: Every encounter we share reminds us that the world is
[48:05] Speaker 1: bigger and stranger than we think, and that the truth
