[0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Bigfoot Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In
[0:03] Speaker 1: this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring
[0:05] Speaker 1: you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen
[0:08] Speaker 1: something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to
[0:12] Speaker 1: quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 2: These are the.
[0:21] Speaker 1: Voices of the people who've lived it. To settle in,
[0:24] Speaker 1: because today you'll hear another account that just might change
[0:28] Speaker 1: the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 2: So stay with us.
[0:31] Speaker 1: Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his
[0:34] Speaker 1: fight against cancer. For more updates about his medical journey,
[0:38] Speaker 1: please go to the carring Bridge link in the show notes.
[0:42] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[0:43] Speaker 1: All right, Bigfoot Society, You've got the privilege of talking
[0:46] Speaker 1: to Priscilla Roseman Davidson again. You may remember Priscilla from
[0:51] Speaker 1: previous episodes. She is the owner of Area fifty eight Museum. Correct, Priscilla, am,
[1:01] Speaker 1: And you are also, I guess you could say, the
[1:04] Speaker 1: individual that heads up the Sasquatch Summerfest festival in Oakridge
[1:09] Speaker 1: every year.
[1:11] Speaker 3: Yes, yes, that's me. I'm so excited.
[1:16] Speaker 4: It's like I felt like everything went phenomenal this year.
[1:21] Speaker 3: I was ready to hang it up, but this year
[1:26] Speaker 3: like there was no pushing anything uphill, and it went.
[1:29] Speaker 4: It went amazing, And so I will be doing it
[1:33] Speaker 4: again next year.
[1:35] Speaker 1: That is fantastic news. Everyone I've talked to, just you know,
[1:40] Speaker 1: on the side, has has had great things to say
[1:44] Speaker 1: about the festival.
[1:46] Speaker 2: Which happened.
[1:47] Speaker 1: It was July tenth through eleventh, right, yes, yes, And.
[1:54] Speaker 2: Just to say a few words. I was supposed to
[1:56] Speaker 2: be there.
[1:57] Speaker 1: My body decided to get cancer, and so I wasn't
[2:02] Speaker 1: able to make it. I wish I would have been there.
[2:06] Speaker 1: But next year, well, I guess can we say it?
[2:11] Speaker 1: Can we say it now?
[2:12] Speaker 3: Yes?
[2:12] Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yes, I am planning on being there next year.
[2:18] Speaker 1: If everything goes the way it should, it will all
[2:21] Speaker 1: be there, no problem, and doing the speaking that I
[2:26] Speaker 1: was supposed to do this this year but wasn't able to.
[2:30] Speaker 1: And my goodness, what a year you guys had from
[2:33] Speaker 1: what I heard, I mean, what seventies, the seventy degree weather.
[2:38] Speaker 3: It was great weather. It wasn't too hot, and I
[2:42] Speaker 3: was prepared.
[2:43] Speaker 4: I had canopies and spritzers to keep everybody cool.
[2:48] Speaker 3: But they weren't even needed.
[2:50] Speaker 4: But I'm sure you could feel the love from everybody
[2:54] Speaker 4: that attended.
[2:55] Speaker 2: Great my goodness, Yes, yes, absolutely.
[2:58] Speaker 5: Did you get the poster the peterburn posters with all
[3:02] Speaker 5: the signatures.
[3:02] Speaker 1: I think it's on the way still, but I will say,
[3:07] Speaker 1: I mean, man, I had people reaching out the entire time,
[3:12] Speaker 1: sending photos telling me what was going on.
[3:14] Speaker 2: It felt like I was almost there.
[3:16] Speaker 1: I had so much stuff coming in, and I mean,
[3:19] Speaker 1: I will say, it's just it's such a I haven't
[3:25] Speaker 1: really talked about the gofund me at all, but I
[3:29] Speaker 1: do want to thank everyone that went to Sasquat Summerfest
[3:32] Speaker 1: and you know, you guys had the raffle.
[3:36] Speaker 2: And then you made a.
[3:39] Speaker 1: Very generous donation to the GoFundMe that's in place to
[3:43] Speaker 1: help with cancer treatment bills. So thank you so much
[3:47] Speaker 1: to yourself and for everyone else that was involved with that.
[3:51] Speaker 3: Yeah, it was amazing. You know.
[3:55] Speaker 4: I had the four different raffles and like and this
[3:57] Speaker 4: one is a fundraiser for Jeremiah, and it's like everybody's like, okay,
[4:00] Speaker 4: here give me twenty oh wow, wow, Like everybody, everybody
[4:06] Speaker 4: missed you.
[4:06] Speaker 3: And when I started handing the.
[4:10] Speaker 4: Poster around for a big you know, get well cards,
[4:13] Speaker 4: like everybody wanted to sign it, and I can't wait
[4:16] Speaker 4: for you.
[4:16] Speaker 3: To get it.
[4:17] Speaker 2: I can't. I can't wait to get it either.
[4:19] Speaker 1: You know, previous years there have been some really interesting
[4:24] Speaker 1: things that have happened and people having experiences around the festival.
[4:30] Speaker 1: And I mean, I'm thinking I've done so many interviews.
[4:35] Speaker 1: There were people Doctor Loves comes to mind, and I
[4:40] Speaker 1: heard there are some really interesting things that happen this year,
[4:44] Speaker 1: and I'm setting up some interviews in the future to
[4:48] Speaker 1: hopefully talk to those people I've heard there are there
[4:52] Speaker 1: were visuals by two that were not too far away.
[4:55] Speaker 1: Actually it was a little bit in western Oakridge that
[4:59] Speaker 1: happened during this same time period.
[5:02] Speaker 3: Oh great, I didn't care about those.
[5:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, hopefully I talked to this gentleman for about an
[5:10] Speaker 1: hour and a half the other day, and hopefully we'll
[5:13] Speaker 1: be able to get him on the show. But I'm
[5:15] Speaker 1: keeping his name a little bit off off record because
[5:19] Speaker 1: I don't have the okay to talk to you yet.
[5:21] Speaker 2: And then there were.
[5:22] Speaker 1: Some some other interesting things and hopefully, you know, I'm
[5:27] Speaker 1: working on getting some some people on the show that
[5:31] Speaker 1: We're we're going up with Jason Kenzie up in the woods,
[5:36] Speaker 1: and how did that go? Priscilla?
[5:40] Speaker 3: So it was a hit.
[5:43] Speaker 4: You know, I had to be creative this year because
[5:45] Speaker 4: you know, I'm kind of at war with the city
[5:49] Speaker 4: and I had to figure out things to help with
[5:52] Speaker 4: funding because putting on a festival is very expensive, right,
[5:56] Speaker 4: So I was like, Okay, we need to do like
[5:59] Speaker 4: Jason Kenzie.
[6:00] Speaker 3: And it was phenomenal. It was a huge hit.
[6:04] Speaker 4: We ended up doing multiple days of the Jason Kensei
[6:08] Speaker 4: Adventure because people wanted to go out there and be
[6:11] Speaker 4: in their own documentary, you know, with Jason Kenzie was
[6:14] Speaker 4: searching for sasquatch. But so we went up to both nights,
[6:21] Speaker 4: Me and my husband, uh went.
[6:23] Speaker 3: With and.
[6:26] Speaker 4: So there, me and my husband we stayed back at
[6:29] Speaker 4: base camp while Jason took them out and and explored
[6:34] Speaker 4: the area. But there there was multiple people who had
[6:39] Speaker 4: seen lights moving within the forest, and Uh, Michelle Heaton
[6:45] Speaker 4: from the Sweet Home Sasquatch, she's she's going to set
[6:51] Speaker 4: up an interview with you because she's excited to tell
[6:54] Speaker 4: about what she's seen out there.
[6:55] Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah, she's I have a I have a list
[6:59] Speaker 1: and her name is actually on the list, so I
[7:01] Speaker 1: will I'll reach out after this, uh for sure.
[7:05] Speaker 2: So this was it was up in and we can
[7:11] Speaker 2: edit this if need to.
[7:12] Speaker 1: It's up where in the first year there was the
[7:16] Speaker 1: visual with you and Chad Datema.
[7:19] Speaker 2: Is that right?
[7:21] Speaker 3: Yes? Yes? So so I have an area, you know,
[7:24] Speaker 3: I I.
[7:26] Speaker 4: Don't bring people to to my dad's areas, like out
[7:30] Speaker 4: of respect for him. Yeah, but this area that I
[7:34] Speaker 4: went to, it's it's my area. I hate calling you,
[7:39] Speaker 4: I think my area, but you know it's a national force.
[7:42] Speaker 4: But this is where I was called to, Like I
[7:47] Speaker 4: just I had an overwhelming feeling to go back to
[7:50] Speaker 4: this spot. And it did end up being one of
[7:52] Speaker 4: my dad's spots that he would go to. It's not
[7:58] Speaker 4: his main spot, so that that one is sacred and
[8:00] Speaker 4: I'm not sharing that, but.
[8:04] Speaker 3: Now this one is.
[8:06] Speaker 4: You know, a couple of years ago, I had an
[8:11] Speaker 4: overwhelming feeling to go back to this spot and it
[8:15] Speaker 4: was so squatchy, and I was like, I have to
[8:18] Speaker 4: go get my dad and bring him back here. And
[8:21] Speaker 4: so we drove back to town and brought my dad
[8:24] Speaker 4: back to the spot and.
[8:27] Speaker 3: He's like, who told you? And I'm like what, And
[8:32] Speaker 3: he's like, and now he gave it up. He was like, oh,
[8:34] Speaker 3: son of it, you know. And then my husband.
[8:37] Speaker 4: Starts laughing and he my dad walks out into the
[8:41] Speaker 4: woods and he grabs a gifting bag and he's like, yeah,
[8:44] Speaker 4: this is this is one of my spots. It's like,
[8:47] Speaker 4: how crazy is that. It's like of all the I
[8:51] Speaker 4: mean really millions of square miles here that you can
[8:55] Speaker 4: you know, in the National Forest of the Cascades.
[8:58] Speaker 3: It's like and I found the spot, not trying to.
[9:04] Speaker 4: It's like, it's just amazing.
[9:07] Speaker 3: It baffles me.
[9:08] Speaker 4: But but so I had an experience there on my
[9:13] Speaker 4: fiftieth birthday. Yesterday was my fifty second birthday, thank you.
[9:21] Speaker 3: I needed to get this moss out and I was
[9:23] Speaker 3: getting ready for my festival and I was so busy.
[9:25] Speaker 4: And now it's like approaching midnight on Wednesday, and I'm like, you, guys,
[9:32] Speaker 4: I have to leave you the searching for Sasquatch.
[9:34] Speaker 3: I'm like, I have to leave you.
[9:35] Speaker 4: I have to go get moss because I have to
[9:37] Speaker 4: get it out tomorrow.
[9:39] Speaker 3: And Chad Datama he's like he's like you know what,
[9:43] Speaker 3: he was, I'll go with you.
[9:44] Speaker 4: And I'm like, okay, cool, so you know, he's six
[9:48] Speaker 4: foot ten and so if you can imagine his arm
[9:54] Speaker 4: reach when he's you know, reaching up to.
[9:57] Speaker 3: Pull moss off of these trees.
[10:00] Speaker 4: We go up to my bigfoot spot and he's grabbing
[10:04] Speaker 4: the moss out of the trees and he's handing it
[10:07] Speaker 4: to me, and I'm bagging and we're just talking.
[10:09] Speaker 3: And we were out there for like twenty minutes, and you.
[10:13] Speaker 4: Know, we weren't there for Bigfoot, and we were just
[10:16] Speaker 4: you know, talking and carrying on. And he's like, Priscilla,
[10:20] Speaker 4: you know, I told you dad that if he ever
[10:22] Speaker 4: needs to ward off big Foot, all he needs to
[10:25] Speaker 4: do is just tighten the lens on his flashlight.
[10:27] Speaker 3: And as soon as he did.
[10:29] Speaker 4: That and he tightened the beam, there was eye shine
[10:33] Speaker 4: and it was about.
[10:38] Speaker 3: Honey, how far do you think that? About fifty yards?
[10:42] Speaker 4: I'm terrible with distance, so about fifty yards ahead and
[10:47] Speaker 4: the eye shine just shows up.
[10:49] Speaker 3: And you know, I didn't think I would.
[10:52] Speaker 4: Be scared, all right, but I was panic stricken, like
[10:57] Speaker 4: I couldn't control it. I'm just like, there's something very
[11:02] Speaker 4: large staring at me, not very far away, and uh
[11:07] Speaker 4: and I'm like, okay, I'm I'm gonna go to the car,
[11:11] Speaker 4: and my granddaughter's in the car, you know, and I'm
[11:16] Speaker 4: just like, okay, don't run, like, try not to panic.
[11:21] Speaker 3: And and I honestly, I didn't think that I would
[11:24] Speaker 3: be scared if I seen one out there, but you.
[11:29] Speaker 4: Know, and then a second set of eye shine shows
[11:31] Speaker 4: up and it's like a foot and a half off
[11:33] Speaker 4: the ground, and I'm just like, is it spider crawling?
[11:37] Speaker 3: Because I can't think of anything more terrifying, and uh
[11:43] Speaker 3: so I'm just I I hurry back to the car,
[11:47] Speaker 3: but not run.
[11:49] Speaker 4: And then uh, Chad stays out there for a few
[11:52] Speaker 4: more minutes, and he said that he saw a third
[11:54] Speaker 4: set of eye shine show.
[11:56] Speaker 3: Up, and so he's in the car. So now I'm pulling.
[12:01] Speaker 4: Away very slowly, and we're looking over where we've seen
[12:05] Speaker 4: the eye shine. And and as I'm pulling away, now
[12:11] Speaker 4: there's eye shine where we were standing.
[12:14] Speaker 3: And you know, I don't think that they there was
[12:17] Speaker 3: no ill intent with them at all. I mean, we
[12:21] Speaker 3: were very vulnerable.
[12:22] Speaker 4: Where we were, so it's like, if you know, if
[12:25] Speaker 4: it wanted to do something bad to us, you know, uh,
[12:31] Speaker 4: we were quite a waste from the car. It was
[12:33] Speaker 4: just you know, if you don't expect to to see
[12:37] Speaker 4: something in the middle of the woods at a very
[12:41] Speaker 4: late hour. It was just past midnight.
[12:44] Speaker 1: It's one of those stories I will never forget. I
[12:47] Speaker 1: mean that first that first year Sasquatch Summer Fest. I remember,
[12:51] Speaker 1: remember I told you, I was like, I got to
[12:52] Speaker 1: be there for the first year because I just remember,
[12:54] Speaker 1: it's going to be crazy, Like whenever there's a first
[12:57] Speaker 1: year festival, it's going to be Yeah, was crazy. So
[13:01] Speaker 1: how many how many people again were able to go
[13:05] Speaker 1: on that the expedition with Jason?
[13:07] Speaker 2: Was it ten or well?
[13:10] Speaker 4: So I limited to eight, okay, and then I had
[13:15] Speaker 4: another eight people come up to me that said if
[13:18] Speaker 4: there's anybody who cancels, please let me, you know, fill
[13:23] Speaker 4: the spot.
[13:24] Speaker 3: And I was like okay. So after you know, I'm
[13:26] Speaker 3: writing people's names down and then it's like.
[13:28] Speaker 4: After the eighth person, I'm like, hey, Jason, do you
[13:31] Speaker 4: want to do another one on Saturday?
[13:34] Speaker 3: And He's like, yeah, absolutely, let's do it. So so
[13:38] Speaker 3: we ended up bringing another eight out on Saturday.
[13:41] Speaker 1: That's fantastic. I will like, I don't think i've let
[13:43] Speaker 1: you know know this yet, but so ever since you
[13:48] Speaker 1: first announced that that that was going to happen, and
[13:54] Speaker 1: then it sold out really quick and then I man,
[13:59] Speaker 1: I had mail after email after Jeremiah, is there any
[14:02] Speaker 1: way we can get in?
[14:04] Speaker 2: Can you get me? And am I?
[14:05] Speaker 1: I can't get you in? It's like it's out really quick.
[14:09] Speaker 1: And is that a thing you think will happen again
[14:11] Speaker 1: next year?
[14:13] Speaker 3: Oh? Absolutely, And we're gonna plan for more.
[14:17] Speaker 2: Okay, cool?
[14:18] Speaker 4: So I mean Jason is going to plan to maybe
[14:21] Speaker 4: even come in a week early and just do adventures until,
[14:26] Speaker 4: you know, up to the festival.
[14:29] Speaker 1: So yeah, that's really cool. Okay, fantastic.
[14:33] Speaker 4: And then let's and I wanted to add this is
[14:37] Speaker 4: this is exciting too. So you know doctor Simeon Hine,
[14:41] Speaker 4: he's a quantum physicist. He does the remote viewing. It's
[14:46] Speaker 4: just a brilliant, brilliant man. He's going to also do
[14:52] Speaker 4: something like the expedition, but it's going to be on
[14:55] Speaker 4: remote viewing.
[14:57] Speaker 3: So we're gonna I'm gonna.
[14:59] Speaker 4: Do like twenty tickets and we were going to have
[15:02] Speaker 4: like a meditation class at the park and then we're
[15:07] Speaker 4: gonna go.
[15:09] Speaker 3: Somewhere off off of the site, you know, off.
[15:14] Speaker 4: Of Green Waters Park and to you know, experience the
[15:18] Speaker 4: remote viewing with with Simmy and Heine.
[15:22] Speaker 3: That is so I was super super excited.
[15:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a once in a lifetime type deal.
[15:28] Speaker 1: That's that's very, very unique and I'm sure a lot
[15:31] Speaker 1: of people are going to be excited about that.
[15:33] Speaker 2: How did the speakers go this year?
[15:38] Speaker 3: Well, so the speakers went, uh, excellent.
[15:42] Speaker 4: It's like, I'm gosh.
[15:45] Speaker 3: The love in the Big Book community is amazing.
[15:48] Speaker 4: It's like I always expect that, Okay, you know, nobody's
[15:53] Speaker 4: gonna show up, but everybody shows up and it's it's
[16:00] Speaker 4: just amazing.
[16:00] Speaker 3: I mean, we had so Jason Kenzie and Ashley Stinnett,
[16:05] Speaker 3: m K.
[16:05] Speaker 4: Davis return, Don and Roe, Rich Dramo, doctor Robert Alli,
[16:10] Speaker 4: Joe b. Lart, Michael Beaver's and UFOs over UFO and
[16:16] Speaker 4: Simeon Hine.
[16:18] Speaker 3: You know, Tobin Alicia, They're freaking amazing, Like he's such
[16:21] Speaker 3: a natural at being at MC and Alicia she's.
[16:28] Speaker 4: Coming back as a speaker next year and she's going
[16:33] Speaker 4: to be talking about all the activity on their property
[16:36] Speaker 4: in the Olympic Peninsula.
[16:38] Speaker 2: Awesome. Yeah, oh my goodness.
[16:41] Speaker 1: And I'm not just saying this because I love the
[16:45] Speaker 1: festival and okres, but I am aware of most.
[16:50] Speaker 2: I would say probably.
[16:50] Speaker 1: All the Bigfoot festivals going on, and the work that
[16:56] Speaker 1: you put into this festival to get really good speakers
[17:00] Speaker 1: and quality speakers is amazing. I mean it is not beatable.
[17:06] Speaker 1: I mean you do a really good job, Priscilla. So
[17:08] Speaker 1: hats off to you, thank you, thank you so And
[17:12] Speaker 1: I wanted.
[17:12] Speaker 4: To say that the way the community like just helped
[17:17] Speaker 4: me out when I did have some speakers that weren't
[17:20] Speaker 4: able to make it, Like Michelle Heaton, like she stepped
[17:25] Speaker 4: in and she's like, oh, I would love to be
[17:27] Speaker 4: a speaker.
[17:28] Speaker 3: So she was able to fill that first spot that
[17:30] Speaker 3: was gonna be David.
[17:33] Speaker 4: Osborne because he was going to play music and just
[17:36] Speaker 4: ended up not being able to make it.
[17:38] Speaker 3: And then let's see who who else?
[17:44] Speaker 4: Oh and then Sarah Brown it's like her coming in, Yeah, yes,
[17:50] Speaker 4: it's like that.
[17:51] Speaker 3: It was just amazing and it was like, yeah, you know,
[17:55] Speaker 3: I'm down.
[17:55] Speaker 4: A speaker and like I'm getting messages of hey, I
[18:00] Speaker 4: can fill in, and it's like wow.
[18:03] Speaker 3: It's like the community is amazing.
[18:07] Speaker 5: It's everybody wants to to help and be a part
[18:12] Speaker 5: of and it's it's like where one big family, you know,
[18:17] Speaker 5: it's like the family reunion every year.
[18:20] Speaker 2: It really, it really is.
[18:21] Speaker 1: And I will say, you know, I have a really
[18:28] Speaker 1: I have a really large bird's eye view of the
[18:32] Speaker 1: entire community and this community. It's almost like a separate
[18:37] Speaker 1: community inside the Bigfoot community. The people that get together
[18:40] Speaker 1: for Sasquatch Serfest and Oakridge.
[18:42] Speaker 2: It's very unique.
[18:43] Speaker 1: Everyone is talking to each other, sharing stories, good vibes,
[18:48] Speaker 1: good attitudes. No one's like, hey, that guy's terrible. Get like,
[18:52] Speaker 1: none of that that I've ever seen at least. And
[18:55] Speaker 1: if you if you want to go to a good
[18:57] Speaker 1: festival and have an experience that you'll never forget and
[19:00] Speaker 1: just like able to meet people and have good conversations,
[19:05] Speaker 1: you got to get out to Oakridge for this. It's
[19:08] Speaker 1: it's totally totally worth it.
[19:12] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[19:14] Speaker 4: So do you do you want a little snippet of
[19:17] Speaker 4: who's coming back next year?
[19:18] Speaker 2: Oh?
[19:19] Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, Okay, So we have some of the same
[19:24] Speaker 3: and some new.
[19:25] Speaker 4: So we have so Penny Rummell, and she's an author
[19:30] Speaker 4: and experiencer, Sarah Brown, she.
[19:33] Speaker 3: Is coming back, and you know she's.
[19:36] Speaker 4: A tribal member and has some incredible evidence. Now, Elisia Pfeiffer,
[19:41] Speaker 4: like I said, from Olympic Strange Days and she's gonna,
[19:46] Speaker 4: you know, share her sounds that she's had on her property.
[19:50] Speaker 4: And it's it's great, it's great audio, great evidence. Robert
[19:55] Speaker 4: Ali is going to come back, doctor Robert Ali. So
[20:00] Speaker 4: William Morris from the Sasquatch Puzzle, awesome, he's happy to
[20:05] Speaker 4: be a presenter. Daryl Adams from the Al Moon Lab,
[20:10] Speaker 4: he's gonna join us.
[20:12] Speaker 3: We got Michelle Heaton, she's coming back.
[20:16] Speaker 4: Jason Kensei Adventures, Doctor Simmy and him remote viewing and uh,
[20:20] Speaker 4: and of course Jeremiah.
[20:23] Speaker 2: That's right.
[20:23] Speaker 1: That's where we're next year's it's we're gonna do it.
[20:26] Speaker 1: We're gonna do I'm saying awesome, awesome to everyone. That
[20:29] Speaker 1: is a solid lineup. So it's going to be it's
[20:33] Speaker 1: gonna be wild times as always. And and uh that's good.
[20:36] Speaker 1: That's gonna be good stuff. Now, I remember last year,
[20:40] Speaker 1: in the year before, well last year and the year before,
[20:43] Speaker 1: how was uh what kind of food did you guys
[20:46] Speaker 1: have this year? You had some good food last year?
[20:49] Speaker 4: Oh yes, so we had a Mexican food truck nice
[20:53] Speaker 4: and it was phenomenal. Uh, Simmy and said it was
[20:56] Speaker 4: the best festival food he's ever had. And then we
[21:01] Speaker 4: had pizza, uh you know, wood burned pizza or whatever.
[21:09] Speaker 3: Was that, oh yeah, the urban crust. Yeah.
[21:12] Speaker 4: And then we had gourmet hot dogs and I think
[21:17] Speaker 4: it's just those three h Yeah.
[21:20] Speaker 3: And then Mazatlan did the VIP dinner, which was a hit.
[21:25] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
[21:26] Speaker 4: Manzalon Va catered you know in the community building at
[21:30] Speaker 4: the park, so I had.
[21:33] Speaker 3: Forty forty seats.
[21:36] Speaker 4: In there for you know, we had chicken inchlados, cheese cinchiladas,
[21:41] Speaker 4: beef inch loaders and you know, chips and salsa and
[21:44] Speaker 4: so we all ate and then we Jason Kenzie he
[21:49] Speaker 4: he talked, you know, not too long. It was like
[21:53] Speaker 4: maybe ten fifteen minutes. And then Simeon got up there
[21:56] Speaker 4: and he talked.
[21:58] Speaker 3: You know. It was just a fun.
[22:02] Speaker 4: Personal ble experience where you know, all the the speakers
[22:08] Speaker 4: were in there too, so it was just more intimate.
[22:12] Speaker 1: You know, which is that's that's a good VIP dinner
[22:16] Speaker 1: right there You're able to connect to to somewhere the
[22:19] Speaker 1: speakers and have maybe conversations that you wouldn't be able
[22:23] Speaker 1: to have, you know when the rest of the festival
[22:26] Speaker 1: is going on.
[22:27] Speaker 2: So that's that's fantastic.
[22:30] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I need to pat myself on the back.
[22:33] Speaker 3: But I was very proud of myself.
[22:37] Speaker 2: All right, we'll let it, we'll let it go.
[22:40] Speaker 1: So one thing I was curious about because I remember
[22:43] Speaker 1: you talking about this and how did it because you
[22:47] Speaker 1: it wasn't just Sasquatch Summerfest attendees, but you also had
[22:51] Speaker 1: a large amount of mountain bikers too, right, how did
[22:54] Speaker 1: that go?
[22:55] Speaker 3: Yes? So I needed to do things too.
[23:02] Speaker 4: To help with costs and the finances of throwing a festival.
[23:06] Speaker 4: And there was a mountain bike group that uh there
[23:10] Speaker 4: was four hundred of them and yeah, uh, so I
[23:15] Speaker 4: shared the park.
[23:15] Speaker 3: With them to help save on those expenses.
[23:18] Speaker 4: And you know, I didn't have to pay for the
[23:20] Speaker 4: porta potties and and it helped with Saturdays fee of
[23:24] Speaker 4: the park or Friday's fee of the park. And so
[23:29] Speaker 4: they were able to mingle with with with our group.
[23:33] Speaker 4: And for the first time ever, they had a Sasquatch
[23:35] Speaker 4: in their logo.
[23:37] Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, so they were excited. It was well.
[23:44] Speaker 4: It worked out well for the vendors because they said
[23:47] Speaker 4: Friday was great because they the bikers kept coming over
[23:50] Speaker 4: and you know, buying merchandise and and uh so I
[23:54] Speaker 4: I loved it.
[23:55] Speaker 3: I thought it was great.
[23:58] Speaker 4: So I thought that I wasn't going to be able
[24:01] Speaker 4: to do camping because of the Mountain Bikers being there
[24:06] Speaker 4: on Friday. But next year because I'm going to join
[24:11] Speaker 4: forces with them again because it was it was great.
[24:14] Speaker 3: But next year, I camping is going to be available.
[24:18] Speaker 4: In the west field and and I'm not charging for
[24:24] Speaker 4: that either, So people who just come in and.
[24:26] Speaker 3: They can set up on the lawn.
[24:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a big deal. So that is that the
[24:31] Speaker 1: lawn that is that over by? Like the playground that
[24:37] Speaker 1: that side or the opposite side.
[24:40] Speaker 4: No, no, So the playground is the east end, okay,
[24:43] Speaker 4: the west end is the The field just goes.
[24:47] Speaker 3: On forever on the west end and it's the truck stop.
[24:51] Speaker 1: Okay, cool, that's that's fantasy. I mean, just the fact
[24:54] Speaker 1: that you're doing camping for no costs.
[24:57] Speaker 2: That's a really big deal.
[24:59] Speaker 1: For people that are in a tudee, you know, to
[25:02] Speaker 1: be able to to save some save some cash potentially. Yeah,
[25:08] Speaker 1: my goodness. So the wild thing is that you not
[25:17] Speaker 1: only have the festival, which the festival is amazing, but
[25:22] Speaker 1: you also have I want to make sure that you know,
[25:25] Speaker 1: there could be some new listeners. They know that it's
[25:28] Speaker 1: not just to come to Oakridge for two days a year.
[25:32] Speaker 1: Like you can come to Oakridge anytime, and it's a
[25:34] Speaker 1: beautiful place and I would recommend it. But you have
[25:37] Speaker 1: the area the Area fifty eight Museum, and you can
[25:40] Speaker 1: go there and you can just learn so much about
[25:44] Speaker 1: Bigfoot and get some really cool bigfoot swag. But how
[25:48] Speaker 1: how are things going with the Area fifty eight Museum.
[25:53] Speaker 3: Great. I'm not there as much as I want.
[25:57] Speaker 4: To be because I'm you know, I got nine grand
[26:00] Speaker 4: babies and I just end up being busy. But I
[26:07] Speaker 4: let everybody know if they call me the day before
[26:10] Speaker 4: or message me, you know, go to the Area fifty
[26:14] Speaker 4: eight Museum Facebook page or call me. It's on the
[26:18] Speaker 4: sign outside it's five four one seven three one four
[26:21] Speaker 4: six seventh three. I will show up even on my
[26:26] Speaker 4: days off on the weekends.
[26:28] Speaker 3: I will come down and open up if I'm not.
[26:34] Speaker 1: There, which is that's a that's a huge deal for
[26:37] Speaker 1: you to do it. And I've had people reach out
[26:39] Speaker 1: to me and they've been like, we we stopped there,
[26:43] Speaker 1: and you know, Priscilla was able to come over and
[26:46] Speaker 1: show us around. I mean, I will say it's it's
[26:50] Speaker 1: got to be the largest collection of Peter burn memorabilia
[26:55] Speaker 1: out there.
[26:56] Speaker 2: It has to be.
[26:57] Speaker 3: Oh yes, yes.
[26:59] Speaker 4: I have all of Peter Burns journals, the first one
[27:03] Speaker 4: nineteen fifty six starting and he journaled every year of
[27:06] Speaker 4: his life after that. So I have gloves for people
[27:12] Speaker 4: if they want to look at them, and you know,
[27:16] Speaker 4: it's it's amazing. And I have his van that he
[27:18] Speaker 4: would have shipped to Nepal so he would have his
[27:21] Speaker 4: own living quarters and transportation when he went on you
[27:24] Speaker 4: know Safari so and I you know, have you know
[27:29] Speaker 4: his history there of his writing desk and his books
[27:32] Speaker 4: and so many pictures, and it's it's.
[27:39] Speaker 3: Quite a collection. It's really fun to share it with people.
[27:43] Speaker 2: It really is.
[27:45] Speaker 1: When I'm trying to remember the last time I was there,
[27:48] Speaker 1: and you go in and it's just like, wow, there's
[27:51] Speaker 1: a lot here, and really you could It's even though
[27:55] Speaker 1: it feels like, oh, this is kind of a small place,
[27:58] Speaker 1: but when you get in there, like there's a lot
[27:59] Speaker 1: of things in here, and I could spend a long
[28:01] Speaker 1: time looking around if I had the time, so so
[28:06] Speaker 1: much stuff, and like that's not even talking about like
[28:08] Speaker 1: you have track cast there. You have the knee prints
[28:13] Speaker 1: from Tob Johnson, right, you still have those?
[28:17] Speaker 3: Yeah? Well okay, so Tob took those two days ago.
[28:21] Speaker 4: He said that he needed them and he's bringing them
[28:23] Speaker 4: back in September though.
[28:25] Speaker 2: Oh okay.
[28:26] Speaker 1: Well, hey, that's a good museum when you have alternating
[28:29] Speaker 1: out exhibits, right, So that's okay, that happens. Yes, that
[28:32] Speaker 1: happens to everyone. So you never know what you're you're
[28:35] Speaker 1: going to find there. Do you have any any new
[28:39] Speaker 1: new things since I was last out there? And I
[28:43] Speaker 1: guess it would be a last salt?
[28:46] Speaker 3: So okay, so this is fun now.
[28:51] Speaker 4: Now, Peter Peter Burn lived to be almost ninety eight
[28:55] Speaker 4: years old, right, he passed away. See so about what
[29:02] Speaker 4: three years ago he passed away. He would have been
[29:04] Speaker 4: one hundred years old this last August twenty second. Now, Kathy,
[29:10] Speaker 4: she had been paying on on storage for the last
[29:14] Speaker 4: like fifteen years, and she told me that she's done
[29:20] Speaker 4: paying on this storage and wanted somebody to go through it.
[29:24] Speaker 3: And I was like, you know what.
[29:26] Speaker 4: I will drive down southern California and go through it
[29:30] Speaker 4: for you. And you know, I got to keep Peter
[29:33] Speaker 4: stuff that was in the storage.
[29:36] Speaker 3: Now some of the stuff that we've got. So I
[29:39] Speaker 3: got a his writing desk, which is beautiful.
[29:45] Speaker 4: And I got things, you know, there's trinkets, you know,
[29:48] Speaker 4: lots of he loved elephants, lots of so I got
[29:53] Speaker 4: little elephant pieces and stuff like lamps and you know,
[29:58] Speaker 4: just antiques. Well that oh yeah, the the stuff is
[30:04] Speaker 4: from Nepal.
[30:06] Speaker 3: So it's all.
[30:08] Speaker 4: You know, it's it's beautiful stuff and and all antiques.
[30:13] Speaker 3: Now, now the fun thing is, you know, you know
[30:17] Speaker 3: the finger that uh yeah, I was going to ask,
[30:23] Speaker 3: so I am currently.
[30:25] Speaker 4: Looking for that that finger that you know. In nineteen
[30:29] Speaker 4: fifty seven, he led three expeditions into the the Himalayas
[30:34] Speaker 4: where he was looking for anything Yetti related when he
[30:37] Speaker 4: was funded by the Texas solial millionaire Tom Slick right right,
[30:41] Speaker 4: so where he had discovered the the Yetti scalp controversial.
[30:49] Speaker 3: You know, some say he's the hump of a yak.
[30:52] Speaker 3: And then the he found the print out in the
[30:54] Speaker 3: middle of nowhere.
[30:55] Speaker 4: Ain't nobody faking anything, you know, out in the Himalayas.
[31:00] Speaker 4: And then uh, and then the the hand it was
[31:04] Speaker 4: a skeleton. Now, you can't take anything out of the area.
[31:10] Speaker 4: So what he did was he went back with Jimmy Stewart,
[31:16] Speaker 4: you know from It's.
[31:17] Speaker 3: A Wonderful Life. They were best friends. So they went.
[31:22] Speaker 4: Back to the monks that had this these items guarded,
[31:28] Speaker 4: and they got them drunk and.
[31:30] Speaker 3: Then they took.
[31:33] Speaker 4: They took a finger off of that that hand skeleton
[31:37] Speaker 4: and back into I believe it's the UK.
[31:41] Speaker 3: I've been saying the United States, but I think it's
[31:43] Speaker 3: the UK.
[31:44] Speaker 4: But so, uh, they smuggled it back in Jimmy Stewart's
[31:50] Speaker 4: wife's lingerie. Uh, because back then we didn't they Yes,
[31:57] Speaker 4: they weren't going to go through a woman's lingerie, and
[31:59] Speaker 4: especially she is a celebrity. So I am currently looking
[32:04] Speaker 4: for that finger in the cases the boxes of stuff
[32:09] Speaker 4: that I got from storage, and if I find it,
[32:13] Speaker 4: I am going to you know, make an announcement and
[32:16] Speaker 4: send it back to the monks.
[32:18] Speaker 1: Which is really cool. I mean that is I think
[32:21] Speaker 1: a normal person would be like, oh, we we shrug
[32:24] Speaker 1: it rich, it's going to be the best exhibit. No,
[32:26] Speaker 1: get it back to where it needs to be. Like
[32:29] Speaker 1: that's really cool. Hats off to you guys.
[32:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how that's how curses begins.
[32:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. Yeah, restore what needs to be restored.
[32:37] Speaker 2: There you go. Now, Yes, the.
[32:42] Speaker 1: Cool thing man, the number one I'm trying to remember.
[32:46] Speaker 1: You have this little photo book of like they're like, uh,
[32:54] Speaker 1: they're like photos from the Patty film. Do you still
[32:57] Speaker 1: have that?
[32:59] Speaker 3: Oh? Yes, thing is cool.
[33:02] Speaker 4: Yes, I have original photos that were taken from the
[33:08] Speaker 4: original film.
[33:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
[33:12] Speaker 4: I keep those locked away. I'll bring them out on
[33:18] Speaker 4: I don't know if the spirit moves right.
[33:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, I know I wouldn't lead just leave those out
[33:22] Speaker 1: for sure. How that blew me away when I saw it. Now,
[33:27] Speaker 1: so you've got you've got stuff for I would say
[33:33] Speaker 1: bigfoot enthusiasts, but more like bigfoot nerds like me, where
[33:37] Speaker 1: it's like I'm gonna go look into Peter Burns stuff
[33:39] Speaker 1: and oh there's is like journals.
[33:41] Speaker 2: This is amazing.
[33:42] Speaker 1: But you also have stuff like if there are people
[33:45] Speaker 1: where they're making a vacation, you're like, we want to
[33:47] Speaker 1: go find Bigfoot, we want to do this. You can
[33:50] Speaker 1: also help those people out as well, right with what
[33:53] Speaker 1: you got?
[33:54] Speaker 3: Oh?
[33:54] Speaker 4: Absolutely absolutely So my museum it's it's very inviting. People
[34:02] Speaker 4: come in and you know, I have coffee and tea
[34:04] Speaker 4: and I'll show them.
[34:07] Speaker 3: We'll talk you know, bigfoot, and I.
[34:10] Speaker 4: Will show them the maps of where we've had encounters
[34:15] Speaker 4: throughout ochreage and and and I will set them on
[34:21] Speaker 4: their way to you know, spots where people have had experiences.
[34:27] Speaker 4: And if they you know, I've done this a few times,
[34:29] Speaker 4: somebody wants me to take them to the location, I
[34:33] Speaker 4: will do that. And and I'll come check on them.
[34:38] Speaker 4: You know, if it's a couple of days, I won't
[34:40] Speaker 4: stay out with them, but I'll all come up and
[34:44] Speaker 4: check on them, make sure that everything's okay, and you know,
[34:47] Speaker 4: bring them water or supplies from town.
[34:52] Speaker 1: So and then also like on let's say there's a
[34:56] Speaker 1: gift shop side, so you're also selling stuff that people
[35:00] Speaker 1: could buy and like kind of supplies too, right for
[35:03] Speaker 1: doing that sort of thing?
[35:05] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I have I call it a big
[35:09] Speaker 3: Foot go bag yep.
[35:10] Speaker 4: And it has hydrocal and measuring tape and tweezers and
[35:14] Speaker 4: vile and like gifting stones and everything they need, like
[35:19] Speaker 4: if they find a print that they want to cast,
[35:23] Speaker 4: so I sell those and people can buy. I have
[35:28] Speaker 4: Peter Burns mold of where he found the print in
[35:32] Speaker 4: nineteen sixty in Block Creek area. The same place where
[35:36] Speaker 4: the Patterson Gimblin film was What's Done? So in nineteen
[35:43] Speaker 4: sixty Peter found a print there in nineteen sixty seven,
[35:47] Speaker 4: it is when the Patterson Gimblin footage was taken, So seven.
[35:53] Speaker 3: Years prior Peter found a print there.
[35:57] Speaker 4: But you know, which possibly would be the reason why
[36:01] Speaker 4: they were there, Bob Gillman and Rosher Patterson were there
[36:03] Speaker 4: in the first place.
[36:04] Speaker 3: Sure, you know, it's it's possibility.
[36:08] Speaker 4: Uh, But I have that mold from Peter Burns, so
[36:12] Speaker 4: I do sell bigfoot prints from Peter and uh, and
[36:19] Speaker 4: then I just have some fun stuff like you know,
[36:21] Speaker 4: stickers for your car and.
[36:24] Speaker 3: You know, just novelty items.
[36:26] Speaker 2: Okay, so you're using the mold to make new track castings. Yes, wow,
[36:32] Speaker 2: that's awesome. Yes, man, that's really cool.
[36:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's fun.
[36:39] Speaker 4: I gave on the VIP dinner, I gave one print
[36:43] Speaker 4: to everybody that attended.
[36:45] Speaker 1: That's a big deal, Priscilla, Like, that's huge. Yeah, wow, good, good, good,
[36:50] Speaker 1: good for you on that. Now, when you I'm I'm
[36:53] Speaker 1: curious real quick. So you're sometimes you take people to
[36:57] Speaker 1: different places and you leave them good luck, have fun,
[37:01] Speaker 1: and may check on them later. So have you heard
[37:04] Speaker 1: from any of those people that they've had experiences after
[37:09] Speaker 1: or anything happened after you dropped them off?
[37:14] Speaker 3: No, not really. You know, they they love being out there.
[37:19] Speaker 4: And unfortunately.
[37:24] Speaker 3: Nothing happened.
[37:26] Speaker 4: Oh man, I know, I know, but I mean i'd
[37:33] Speaker 4: like to say that, you know, they had one walk
[37:35] Speaker 4: through their camp, but they didn't.
[37:38] Speaker 1: Well that's the thing with Bakefoot. It's like you never
[37:40] Speaker 1: know what's going to happen. It all depends. It can
[37:43] Speaker 1: depend on are there fires around, are there not fires?
[37:48] Speaker 1: The food supply. I mean, there's so many variables. But
[37:52] Speaker 1: you're I would say your chances are a lot better
[37:56] Speaker 1: if you're able to be in an area like Oakridge
[37:59] Speaker 1: or that will I'm a National Forest or mount Hood
[38:02] Speaker 1: or pretty much all these different places in Oregon.
[38:05] Speaker 2: Do you still have books for sale there as well?
[38:09] Speaker 3: Oh?
[38:09] Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I have a ton of books that they
[38:13] Speaker 4: were from Peter Burn's cabin, so they're all signed, and
[38:19] Speaker 4: I even have the hardback Oh gosh, what do they
[38:26] Speaker 4: call the The Gentleman Hunter?
[38:30] Speaker 3: But they're all signed and numbered.
[38:32] Speaker 4: I have all three of There was the Red series,
[38:36] Speaker 4: Blue Series, and Green series, but most of them I
[38:41] Speaker 4: sell for.
[38:41] Speaker 3: Fifty dollars that are are signed.
[38:44] Speaker 4: There's some that are you know, thirty, and then it
[38:47] Speaker 4: goes up from there depending on how rare they are.
[38:51] Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean you are in reality, that could
[38:56] Speaker 1: probably be the only place in the world where you
[38:58] Speaker 1: are going to find some those books for sale, especially signed.
[39:02] Speaker 1: I mean, you may find one on eBay every once
[39:04] Speaker 1: in a while, but you're not going to find them
[39:05] Speaker 1: all in the same room for sale. Which is that's
[39:09] Speaker 1: a really big draw for super bigfoot nerds that are
[39:13] Speaker 1: definitely into Peter Burn. I would say that's why you
[39:16] Speaker 1: need to definitely check out Area fifty eight for sure. Also,
[39:22] Speaker 1: another thing I want to point out is is you
[39:24] Speaker 1: have a really good YouTube channel and if people like,
[39:27] Speaker 1: if you're listening to this show, it's because you like
[39:29] Speaker 1: listening Bigfoot stories Bigfoot encounters. Do you have some really
[39:33] Speaker 1: solid ones recorded on that YouTube channel and I'll link
[39:37] Speaker 1: it in the show notes?
[39:38] Speaker 3: Is there?
[39:39] Speaker 2: I would know if you go back to the beginning,
[39:41] Speaker 2: there's some solid ones for sure, there's some really really.
[39:45] Speaker 1: Good ones on there. Yeah.
[39:47] Speaker 4: I Alicia, Alicia Piffer, you know she was with me
[39:52] Speaker 4: and she was helping me.
[39:54] Speaker 1: You you add those cool little videos where it's people
[39:57] Speaker 1: saying I'm so and so and I believe bigfoot.
[40:00] Speaker 2: Those are pretty cool.
[40:01] Speaker 3: So yes, I love doing that.
[40:05] Speaker 4: And I've focused putting those on my Facebook Area fifty
[40:11] Speaker 4: eight page.
[40:13] Speaker 1: That's right, Yes, definitely, we got to get the Facebook page.
[40:17] Speaker 1: People need to follow that on over on Facebook for
[40:21] Speaker 1: Area fifty eight. There's a lot of good stuff on there,
[40:24] Speaker 1: and that's how you'll find out stuff about it. But
[40:26] Speaker 1: have you, let's say it's my I guess I could
[40:31] Speaker 1: say over last year or last few months or whatever,
[40:34] Speaker 1: have you heard any cool stories from people that have
[40:38] Speaker 1: come in off the street, anything that.
[40:41] Speaker 3: That is like, yes, okay.
[40:43] Speaker 4: So there was a young couple from Vanita. This was
[40:50] Speaker 4: April fourth. They came to Oakrage to put their boat
[40:53] Speaker 4: on the water, and they were at Packard Creek campground,
[40:58] Speaker 4: which is just like seven miles south of Oakridge. It's
[41:03] Speaker 4: it's still considered Oakridge, you know, but it's in the
[41:07] Speaker 4: National Forest. And her husband was he used to be
[41:11] Speaker 4: a forest ranger, so he was very familiar with, you know,
[41:15] Speaker 4: animal sounds and everything.
[41:16] Speaker 3: And they were here in the howling coming from across.
[41:20] Speaker 4: The way and she said that she was terrified and
[41:26] Speaker 4: they had their one year old baby with them, and
[41:29] Speaker 4: during the night, something came into their camp and walked
[41:35] Speaker 4: around their tent while touching it and made a complete
[41:38] Speaker 4: circle around their tent, and.
[41:41] Speaker 3: She said, she's never come back to Oakridge a camp.
[41:44] Speaker 1: Oh no, I was actually able to interview that you
[41:48] Speaker 1: you helped me set up. You really, you got me
[41:52] Speaker 1: connected to them and I was able to actually interview
[41:55] Speaker 1: them for the podcast, and yet they were freaked out still.
[41:57] Speaker 1: It was pretty wild.
[42:00] Speaker 3: Yeah. Now, now, the coincidence about that.
[42:07] Speaker 4: Encounter is that that is the exact same location that
[42:13] Speaker 4: another guy who had come into the museum a year
[42:16] Speaker 4: before he had an experience with about twenty other people
[42:22] Speaker 4: in that campground that heard the same haling coming from
[42:26] Speaker 4: across the forest, and they had no idea, They had
[42:31] Speaker 4: no idea that there was another encounter that happened there.
[42:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think do you have that one recorded on
[42:38] Speaker 1: your channel?
[42:38] Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember if you have it.
[42:41] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's on the YouTube channel and it's.
[42:45] Speaker 1: Randy Powell, that's right, Yeah, Randy's yeah, absolutely, man. There
[42:49] Speaker 1: I remember the last or the two years that I
[42:52] Speaker 1: was able to be out there and people were putting
[42:55] Speaker 1: some weird stuff on the map down by Hills Creek Reservoir,
[42:58] Speaker 1: like weird. I think one of them was like chimp
[43:02] Speaker 1: like noises or primate like noises. Over by Packard, I
[43:06] Speaker 1: had another guy come by the booth and the other
[43:10] Speaker 1: side of the reservoir is where I rode down, or
[43:15] Speaker 1: I drove down and I had I had that weird like.
[43:21] Speaker 1: I don't know if it's real or it was a hallucination,
[43:23] Speaker 1: but I saw a silhouette of a bigfoot go into
[43:26] Speaker 1: the vines of a pine tree as I was driving by.
[43:29] Speaker 2: I don't know. It was weird, as I'll get out.
[43:30] Speaker 2: And I think Carlos.
[43:34] Speaker 1: Has also had some things happen when he's been camping
[43:37] Speaker 1: down there with that reservoir has a lot of really
[43:40] Speaker 1: really weird stuff.
[43:41] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[43:42] Speaker 4: Yeah, So on the east end, which is the twenty
[43:47] Speaker 4: three road, so Packard is on the twenty one and
[43:50] Speaker 4: then the twenty three is on the east end. There's
[43:55] Speaker 4: been so many reports from from down that way, like
[44:01] Speaker 4: past ct Beach.
[44:03] Speaker 2: Uh.
[44:03] Speaker 3: There's the boy.
[44:04] Speaker 4: Scout camp which just got purchased, and I'm not sure
[44:10] Speaker 4: what they're doing with it yet, but I think it's
[44:12] Speaker 4: gonna be some kind of a retreat area open to
[44:16] Speaker 4: the public, but there's been so many reports from the
[44:21] Speaker 4: Old Boy Scout camp. Oh and yeah, it's I mean,
[44:26] Speaker 4: this whole area is just it's you know, it's squatchy.
[44:31] Speaker 2: It is.
[44:32] Speaker 1: It is so squatchy that people, I mean, Ronnie's told
[44:36] Speaker 1: me a few times. Uh, they're seeing big for from
[44:39] Speaker 1: the mobile station up on up on the mountain. I mean,
[44:43] Speaker 1: and that's wild ascending from the mobile station, and it
[44:46] Speaker 1: was up on the hill wild wild.
[44:49] Speaker 4: Well, it's like you know that that mountain side that's
[44:52] Speaker 4: behind the mobile state.
[44:53] Speaker 3: You know, our town is only two miles long, so it's.
[44:56] Speaker 4: Like the mountains that we have here, it's endless National
[45:00] Speaker 4: force behind them.
[45:03] Speaker 1: Yeah, and it should tell you something when you go
[45:07] Speaker 1: into the ranger station. So the first year I went
[45:10] Speaker 1: in and they like, well, we had a little little
[45:15] Speaker 1: chat and they were they were fun. And then the
[45:18] Speaker 1: second year I really I was like, oh, something's different.
[45:21] Speaker 1: And I noticed that you talk to them and they
[45:24] Speaker 1: have bigfoot pitchers actually behind the front desk on the wall,
[45:29] Speaker 1: so out in the open. And I was like, oh man, okay,
[45:33] Speaker 1: what's going on, guys. But uh, they're they're fun to
[45:36] Speaker 1: talk to. They're they're great people down at the Ranger
[45:39] Speaker 1: station and.
[45:39] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah they're great.
[45:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, they're they're good stuff.
[45:43] Speaker 1: I heard that they're now sending when people have bigfoot stories,
[45:47] Speaker 1: they send them on down to your area, which is.
[45:50] Speaker 3: Is pretty Yes, yes, they do.
[45:53] Speaker 2: Pretty pretty good stuff.
[45:55] Speaker 1: But Priscilla, it's exciting news from from this year for
[45:59] Speaker 1: the festival. You know, I'm sorry I couldn't make it,
[46:03] Speaker 1: but next year it's going to be it's gonna be fantastic,
[46:06] Speaker 1: and it sounds like it's going to be even even
[46:08] Speaker 1: crazier than this year.
[46:10] Speaker 2: It just keeps getting better and better.
[46:12] Speaker 1: But thank you again for coming on the show and
[46:17] Speaker 1: spending a few minutes to talk about what you've got
[46:19] Speaker 1: going on. And did you have before we wrap things up?
[46:22] Speaker 1: Did you have any other closing thoughts in our time
[46:26] Speaker 1: to go?
[46:28] Speaker 3: No, No, I think that's it.
[46:31] Speaker 4: I'm really excited for you to talk to Michelle Heaton
[46:34] Speaker 4: with her experience up there for the adventure, and I
[46:40] Speaker 4: hope that everybody gets a hold of you that went
[46:43] Speaker 4: on the adventure. I handed out your your business card
[46:47] Speaker 4: with your number on it and said, you know, Jeremiah
[46:51] Speaker 4: absolutely wants to hear from you. You know, even if
[46:53] Speaker 4: you didn't experience anything, like just get a hold of them.
[46:58] Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
[47:00] Speaker 3: You you're welcome.
[47:02] Speaker 1: And actually, I real quick, real quick, I'm going to say,
[47:07] Speaker 1: if there's anyone listening that was at the festival and
[47:10] Speaker 1: not involved with that, but you also have big foot
[47:12] Speaker 1: stuff happen, because there's people that just go off by
[47:14] Speaker 1: themselves and have stuff happen, please reach out to me,
[47:18] Speaker 1: send me an email, Bigfoot Society gmail dot com. Half
[47:20] Speaker 1: of it is getting everything documented that happens in the area.
[47:23] Speaker 1: And I'm over fifty interviews from just Oakridge, so it's
[47:28] Speaker 1: very important that it gets documented.
[47:33] Speaker 3: Very nice. Yes, so I am. I'm so looking forward
[47:39] Speaker 3: to next year.
[47:40] Speaker 4: I you know, I was ready to quit, I really was,
[47:44] Speaker 4: and then this year was just so easy and it
[47:46] Speaker 4: was so fun and I actually got to sit down
[47:49] Speaker 4: and listen to the to the speakers this year, you know,
[47:52] Speaker 4: and it's like, Okay, now this is working.
[47:56] Speaker 2: I'm so glad.
[47:58] Speaker 1: It's it's gonna keep going and just keep getting better
[48:02] Speaker 1: and better. And thank you so much, Priscilla. It's always
[48:05] Speaker 1: fun chatting way that. I hope you have a great
[48:07] Speaker 1: rest of your weekend and we will definitely be keeping
[48:09] Speaker 1: in touch as things continue to get bigger and better.
[48:14] Speaker 1: For Area fifty eight and the Sasquat Summerfest.
[48:18] Speaker 3: Thank you. I have a go on Jimmer.
[48:23] Speaker 1: Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something

[48:29] Speaker 1: in the military, any branch or forces, and if you've

[48:39] Speaker 1: to stay quiet. If you're a pilot who's seen something
[48:42] Speaker 1: strange down on the ground, or if you're with the

[48:49] Speaker 1: upon something you're not allowed to talk about. And if
[48:52] Speaker 1: you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue responder who's
[48:55] Speaker 1: heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense. If
[48:59] Speaker 1: you're in the industry on a remote oil field or
[49:03] Speaker 1: a trucker with government contracts and you've had something happen
[49:07] Speaker 1: that you've never told a soul. And if you're a biologist,
[49:10] Speaker 1: a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under contract who
[49:14] Speaker 1: has found evidence you're not allowed to report. If you're
[49:18] Speaker 1: a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat
[49:21] Speaker 1: and you saw something that shook your faith, or if
[49:24] Speaker 1: you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA or anything with
[49:28] Speaker 1: clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't, then I
