In this episode of Bigfoot Society, a longtime Washington State resident shares decades of unexplained encounters across Stevens County, Colville National Forest, and surrounding wilderness areas. What began as strange wood knocks and massive footprints escalated into disturbing vocalizations, unexplained nighttime activity, and a chilling sound often described as a “woman death scream.” The witness details encounters near 49 Degrees North, Burnt Valley, Kalispell Peak, Sand Canyon, and remote forest roads, including incidents involving heavy bipedal tracks in snow, objects impacting embankments at high speed, and vocal responses echoing across mountain valleys. The episode also explores reports from Bumping Lake, Sullivan Lake, and nearby tribal lands, where similar activity has been documented for generations. Listeners will hear firsthand accounts of unexplained breathing outside elevated windows, long-range howls with extreme volume, coordinated vocal responses, and patterns suggesting intelligent movement through rugged terrain following water sources and seasonal food availability. The discussion touches on Search and Rescue encounters, historical cases in Washington State, and theories ranging from undiscovered hominids to isolated primitive human populations. If you’re interested in Bigfoot encounters, Sasquatch sightings, cryptid activity in Washington, or unexplained wilderness experiences backed by eyewitness testimony, this episode delivers a detailed and unsettling account that raises more questions than answers. [3:14] Speaker 1: as well, and I'll read your note as well as
[3:20] Speaker 1: long as it's appropriate.
[3:21] Speaker 2: Guys, so you know what I mean.
[3:24] Speaker 1: Let's get on with the show, all right, biglet Society.
[3:27] Speaker 1: You've got the privilege of talking to Joseph today. Joseph
[3:30] Speaker 1: is an individual from the great state of Washington and
[3:37] Speaker 1: reaching out today to share a lot of things that
[3:41] Speaker 1: he's experienced over the last twenty years, and this is
[3:44] Speaker 1: specifically in Stevens County, Washington, so it's come up a
[3:49] Speaker 1: few times on the show. But Joseph, so glad to
[3:53] Speaker 1: have you on today and to hear what you've experienced.
[3:56] Speaker 2: How are you doing today, sir, I'm doing well, Thank you.
[4:00] Speaker 1: Absolutely. We were talking a little bit before the show.
[4:04] Speaker 1: It sounds like we have some definite ground to cover.
[4:07] Speaker 1: So I would say, you know, Joseph, feel free to
[4:10] Speaker 1: take us back to when this all first started for you,
[4:14] Speaker 1: anything that we would need to know about the beginning
[4:18] Speaker 1: of your experience with Bigfoot over the years.
[4:23] Speaker 3: Okay, So I moved over here from Longview, Kelso, which
[4:31] Speaker 3: was over by Mount Saint Helen's area, and I when
[4:35] Speaker 3: I first moved here in four three, I guess I
[4:42] Speaker 3: moved up on oorn Rice Road at the base of
[4:45] Speaker 3: Monumental Mountain. And so I came late in the year
[4:51] Speaker 3: and I had about one month to gather nine core
[4:57] Speaker 3: of firewood. So I spent a lot of time up
[5:00] Speaker 3: in the woods doing firewood. And one of those times
[5:05] Speaker 3: I was up there, I was with a friend and
[5:09] Speaker 3: we were cutting wood, and I sat down to take
[5:12] Speaker 3: a break, and all of a sudden, this really loud
[5:16] Speaker 3: knock from about maybe seventy five yards into the tree line,
[5:22] Speaker 3: and when it happened, I got this really eerie feeling
[5:27] Speaker 3: like I was being watched, and so I asked my friend,
[5:32] Speaker 3: I said, what was that? And he had this really
[5:36] Speaker 3: disgusting look on his face, like it's just the wind
[5:40] Speaker 3: blowing the trees. And when he said that, he was
[5:44] Speaker 3: talking about the branches at the top of the trees.
[5:48] Speaker 3: But I didn't hear it at the top.
[5:50] Speaker 2: I heard it.
[5:50] Speaker 3: Down below, and when it happened, I looked straight over
[5:54] Speaker 3: at it and it was just right inside the tree line.
[5:58] Speaker 3: And I didn't think nothing of it until a little
[6:02] Speaker 3: bit later. In the same month, being that my wife
[6:08] Speaker 3: was working down in Chewela, I would stay up until
[6:12] Speaker 3: about four in the morning to drive down to pick
[6:15] Speaker 3: her up. And during the night, something had come up
[6:19] Speaker 3: to my kitchen window and took a deep breath and
[6:24] Speaker 3: blew it out its nostrils. I tried to pass that
[6:27] Speaker 3: off as an elk or something, but the only problem
[6:32] Speaker 3: with that is that that window was probably ten feet
[6:36] Speaker 3: off the ground from where it sat to the ground.
[6:41] Speaker 2: And then another part of that month.
[6:44] Speaker 3: In the because like I said, being up late and
[6:49] Speaker 3: driving down to Chuila at four in the morning, I
[6:53] Speaker 3: was sitting there, and when you're out there, you can
[6:56] Speaker 3: hear for miles for a long way, and I heard
[7:03] Speaker 3: what I thought was a woman being murdered or something
[7:08] Speaker 3: happening to.
[7:09] Speaker 2: A woman up in the mountains, and.
[7:12] Speaker 3: I thought, well, that's weird, and there's nothing I can
[7:15] Speaker 3: do about it, because there's who knows where they're at,
[7:18] Speaker 3: and there's nothing between where I was at and where
[7:23] Speaker 3: that noise came from. And I blew that off, and
[7:27] Speaker 3: then we moved down here to Chuila, and then later
[7:30] Speaker 3: on in about maybe five six somewhere in that area,
[7:38] Speaker 3: I was standing out on the porch early in the morning,
[7:41] Speaker 3: maybe two o'clock, and up between forty nine degree Resort
[7:46] Speaker 3: and Burnt Valley where I live, which is also wooded area,
[7:52] Speaker 3: I heard a long, loud how kind of like the
[7:58] Speaker 3: Ohio how. Anyways, then again I was just blowing these
[8:06] Speaker 3: things off until we started getting some fire seasons around here.
[8:12] Speaker 3: And when that happened, then there started getting a lot
[8:16] Speaker 3: of reports about the Sasquatch.
[8:19] Speaker 2: In the area.
[8:22] Speaker 3: And then I started finding tracks, and I mean tracks
[8:28] Speaker 3: that the footprint totally and completely engulfed my thirteen inch boot,
[8:35] Speaker 3: and they had a really long stride in a straight line.
[8:41] Speaker 2: So I found this several.
[8:43] Speaker 3: Times, and not just one set of prints. There was
[8:49] Speaker 3: a couple of different occasions the very large footprint, and
[8:56] Speaker 3: then there would be a footprint that was about the
[9:00] Speaker 3: same size as my thirteen inch boot, and then a
[9:03] Speaker 3: smaller size, all barefooted, all coming out of the woods,
[9:08] Speaker 3: and on top of that being pretty deep.
[9:14] Speaker 2: In the soil. So, like I said, the.
[9:21] Speaker 3: Fires started around here in the woods, and the woods
[9:24] Speaker 3: started opening up, and different animals were coming down into
[9:29] Speaker 3: town and stuff like that. But then I was out
[9:35] Speaker 3: and I was having a little fire out in the woods,
[9:37] Speaker 3: and all of a sudden, I started hearing whoops and
[9:42] Speaker 3: very long howls. But these howls were kind of like
[9:49] Speaker 3: a wolf, but they were very very long and loud,
[9:56] Speaker 3: so they were much more, much louder and long longer
[10:00] Speaker 3: than a wolf. Too much lung capacity and too much decibel.
[10:05] Speaker 3: And the wolves the same thing. They just echoed across
[10:08] Speaker 3: the valley.
[10:11] Speaker 2: And so.
[10:13] Speaker 3: Coming up to you know, the activities that I've had recently,
[10:19] Speaker 3: Even in September of twenty twenty four, I was on
[10:24] Speaker 3: the National Forest one sixty out in Calville National Forest,
[10:29] Speaker 3: and about five point thirty in the evening, I went
[10:37] Speaker 3: out there, and I just kind of had given up
[10:41] Speaker 3: on any kind of activities for bigfoot or anything like that.
[10:47] Speaker 3: But I always imitated the woolves that I heard when
[10:51] Speaker 3: I was out on Sand Canyon. So I did that
[10:55] Speaker 3: just to hear it echo off the mountain, and within
[10:58] Speaker 3: five minutes something it sounded like two simultaneous whoops and
[11:04] Speaker 3: a really long howl, and then that woman death scream again,
[11:09] Speaker 3: only this was so loud and so close that it
[11:13] Speaker 3: sounded like it was right next to me. And people
[11:16] Speaker 3: have been trying to pass that off as a cat.
[11:21] Speaker 2: Well, that ain't no cat.
[11:23] Speaker 3: It sounds like a very giant woman human and it
[11:28] Speaker 3: almost sounded like some words or something in there. But
[11:33] Speaker 3: it was a sinister scream, like a woman in distress
[11:38] Speaker 3: or being murdered or something. I've heard of it being
[11:42] Speaker 3: referred to as the woman death scream. Okay, So I
[11:48] Speaker 3: originally had contacted you about another incident that happened with
[11:53] Speaker 3: a friend of mine, and this was in the eighties,
[11:57] Speaker 3: and I've been telling her about my act vities, and
[12:02] Speaker 3: when I was telling her this one time, she kept
[12:06] Speaker 3: shaking her head like I had.
[12:08] Speaker 2: It all wrong.
[12:09] Speaker 3: And then she told me this thing that happened to
[12:13] Speaker 3: her in the eighties over by Bumping Lake, which is
[12:18] Speaker 3: central Washington, I suppose. And she said that they were
[12:25] Speaker 3: out looking for a man that had been missing out there.
[12:31] Speaker 3: I don't remember his name or anything like that. She
[12:34] Speaker 3: couldn't really even remember, but she said that while they
[12:38] Speaker 3: were out there, she was sitting down taking a break
[12:44] Speaker 3: on the side of a steep incline, and she had
[12:48] Speaker 3: gotten this really horrible smell. Didn't think nothing of it.
[12:54] Speaker 3: But then they got up and around an area above
[13:00] Speaker 3: the lake, and they found what was said to be
[13:05] Speaker 3: a bigfoot camp. Only it wasn't like a camp as
[13:10] Speaker 3: you would think. It was just an area about ten
[13:15] Speaker 3: foot and radius which all the leaves on the floor
[13:20] Speaker 3: had been swept up into a pile in that circle,
[13:25] Speaker 3: and under the leaves there was things that were stolen
[13:31] Speaker 3: from human camps. And in the center was a primitive fire,
[13:36] Speaker 3: not like a camp that you would find from humans
[13:40] Speaker 3: where they would contain it or anything. It was just
[13:43] Speaker 3: like a fire built there. And so they had left
[13:50] Speaker 3: for the evening, and her partner had come back and
[13:55] Speaker 3: he was investigating around the area, and somehow or another
[14:00] Speaker 3: he came across this the being from there and if
[14:07] Speaker 3: he got anywhere close to like fifty yards from it
[14:10] Speaker 3: would disappear and hide. And he got too close to
[14:14] Speaker 3: it at one time and it did that. So he
[14:17] Speaker 3: waited like an hour before it came back out, and
[14:21] Speaker 3: when it came back out, it came out down to
[14:26] Speaker 3: a part of water and kneeled down, and then it
[14:32] Speaker 3: looked back at him. And this is all said to
[14:35] Speaker 3: be on slide camera, by the way, this being, and
[14:41] Speaker 3: so when it looked back at him, the profile was
[14:45] Speaker 3: the high eyebrows like Neanderthal. This is how he was
[14:49] Speaker 3: described as like a giant Neanderthal. He was said to
[14:54] Speaker 3: be seven to nine feet tall, with long black hair,
[14:59] Speaker 3: and wearing animal skins for clothing.
[15:02] Speaker 2: And so.
[15:05] Speaker 3: Lynn, my friend, I've tried to get her to record
[15:09] Speaker 3: this for me, but she just won't do it, and
[15:12] Speaker 3: I have permission to talk about this. She says that
[15:19] Speaker 3: what they believed that they had come across was a
[15:23] Speaker 3: Native Indian from the Natchez tribe over in that area,
[15:27] Speaker 3: and that they live out there very primitive. This was
[15:32] Speaker 3: the only one they saw, so can't be verified that
[15:36] Speaker 3: there were other families of them. So in my experiences,
[15:41] Speaker 3: this is what I believed that I have come across
[15:44] Speaker 3: is families of I can't say Bigfoot or Native primitive
[15:53] Speaker 3: Indians or any of that. What I can say is
[15:56] Speaker 3: that what I've come across is very large and stays
[16:01] Speaker 3: very deep in the woods and navigates in areas that
[16:05] Speaker 3: humans don't go, very rugged terrain, and I think it'd
[16:12] Speaker 3: be really hard for a human to actually be able
[16:16] Speaker 3: to navigate those same areas. And I've kind of found
[16:20] Speaker 3: patterns that they follow creeks and waters and out in
[16:27] Speaker 3: these woods. There's old homesteads too, with tree orchards, apples
[16:32] Speaker 3: and stuff like that. So certain parts of the year
[16:35] Speaker 3: can provide some food of some sort, but there's always
[16:42] Speaker 3: a water source involved. And I believe that what I'm
[16:46] Speaker 3: finding is that they navigate to different areas as well,
[16:53] Speaker 3: so it's not like they're staying in one area throughout.
[16:56] Speaker 2: The whole year.
[16:58] Speaker 3: I do have some friends that do say that they
[17:02] Speaker 3: get all your activity, but this in the areas that
[17:07] Speaker 3: I was maintaining, that's not so so anyway, this is
[17:15] Speaker 3: basically the thing that I was talking to the video
[17:22] Speaker 3: when I first contacted you with Angelique and at about
[17:28] Speaker 3: her story of Sullivan Lake, which, by the way, I
[17:33] Speaker 3: have actually been up there and investigated in some of
[17:36] Speaker 3: the camps with some friends of mine from up there too,
[17:39] Speaker 3: so I.
[17:39] Speaker 2: Know that area as well. I hear she's from this area.
[17:44] Speaker 1: So have you had anything happen up at Sullivan Lake
[17:50] Speaker 1: or found anything out of the ordinary when you've been
[17:53] Speaker 1: looking around.
[17:57] Speaker 2: No.
[17:57] Speaker 3: I've gone up there with another friend of mine, Marshall,
[18:02] Speaker 3: and we were investigating what was called the Camp eleven.
[18:08] Speaker 3: So what I thought that I did find some tracks,
[18:13] Speaker 3: but those tracks could have been a hunter or human
[18:17] Speaker 3: and they were accompanied by a dog, so I didn't
[18:23] Speaker 3: put much into that. I've heard a lot of stories
[18:27] Speaker 3: about the area, and I've been up there to try
[18:31] Speaker 3: to see if I could find anything, but I just haven't.
[18:35] Speaker 3: Most of everything that I have come across is down
[18:38] Speaker 3: here in the area that I live in Chuila and
[18:42] Speaker 3: out on the Callville National Force and the Ponderrey National
[18:47] Speaker 3: Wildlife Refuge.
[18:52] Speaker 1: Gotcha, there's one thing I wanted to check off of
[18:56] Speaker 1: your Bumping Lake account. You had mentioned and it kind
[19:00] Speaker 1: of sounded like you were saying that the Bigfoot or
[19:04] Speaker 1: what was seen was captured on camera in the Bumping Lake.
[19:08] Speaker 1: Did I hear that right?
[19:10] Speaker 2: Or?
[19:11] Speaker 3: Yes, the old slide cameras they had images of this
[19:18] Speaker 3: being from that area from that event, yes, And so
[19:27] Speaker 3: they were search and rescue or I don't know fish
[19:34] Speaker 3: or the fish Wildlife. I'm not sure exactly what unit
[19:40] Speaker 3: she was part of, but this was.
[19:44] Speaker 2: This was a job for her.
[19:48] Speaker 1: Okay. So nineteen eighties search and rescue in Bumping Lake.
[19:53] Speaker 1: Someone with a camera was able to get multiple photos
[19:56] Speaker 1: of the bigfoot that they saw in that area.
[19:59] Speaker 2: Is that right? Yes?
[20:02] Speaker 3: But they didn't they didn't say it was a bigfoot.
[20:05] Speaker 3: They like I said, They said that this being had
[20:08] Speaker 3: long black hair and was wearing animal skins for clothing,
[20:13] Speaker 3: and that they later believed that it was part of
[20:17] Speaker 3: a primitive tribe from the Natchez Indians.
[20:23] Speaker 2: Gotcha, Yeah, that and she said.
[20:27] Speaker 3: That this being had been being mistaken for sasquatch. So
[20:35] Speaker 3: this is this is her account, and this is what
[20:39] Speaker 3: she says about it. So I figured i'd add that
[20:44] Speaker 3: in there because I have to say that a lot
[20:47] Speaker 3: of the times, the footprints that I have found could
[20:50] Speaker 3: be consistent with that, But you never know, I haven't
[20:56] Speaker 3: seen this whatever's screaming and yelling out there. I know
[21:03] Speaker 3: that in September, whenever this thing screamed at me, it
[21:08] Speaker 3: had to be in at least two or three hundred
[21:10] Speaker 3: yards for me, but it was so loud that all
[21:15] Speaker 3: I could do was stand there and in awe. My
[21:20] Speaker 3: wife was with me. So it's definitely very large, whatever
[21:27] Speaker 3: it is. But I have a lot of friends from
[21:31] Speaker 3: around here. One of my friends says that once when
[21:35] Speaker 3: they got screamed at, it sent a percussion through his chest.
[21:41] Speaker 2: So man, my goodness.
[21:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, there's one more question I want to ask about
[21:46] Speaker 1: Bumping Lake before we moved past it. So, okay, your
[21:51] Speaker 1: friend from the nineteen eighties, do you know if they're
[21:55] Speaker 1: the ones that have those photos or were they just
[21:58] Speaker 1: taken and now no one knows where the photos are
[22:00] Speaker 1: type deal.
[22:03] Speaker 3: My impression was, like I said, they were doing this
[22:06] Speaker 3: as a job. So the impression that I got was
[22:12] Speaker 3: that these slides might have been for the business they
[22:18] Speaker 3: were working, whether it was fishing, game or search and rescue.
[22:25] Speaker 3: And I'm not quite sure if they were private or
[22:28] Speaker 3: if they were turned into the business. I could probably
[22:37] Speaker 3: ask her about that, but whenever I've tried to talk
[22:42] Speaker 3: to her. She's been pretty discreet about it and didn't
[22:48] Speaker 3: really she definitely didn't want me to record her. She
[22:54] Speaker 3: told me that she would allow me to or she
[22:58] Speaker 3: said she would you a thing explaining it to me,
[23:03] Speaker 3: But she hasn't done.
[23:04] Speaker 2: That yet, so okay, gotcha.
[23:06] Speaker 1: But yeah, definitely, you know, keep us in the loop
[23:09] Speaker 1: if you're able to ever have that other conversation with her,
[23:13] Speaker 1: if she ever does need someone else to talk to,
[23:16] Speaker 1: even off record, I would love to talk to her.
[23:20] Speaker 1: But so thank you for clarifying some info about the
[23:25] Speaker 1: Bumping Lake story. So another clarification. When you are you know,
[23:31] Speaker 1: so you're talking about your your Coalville National Forest in
[23:35] Speaker 1: Cheweela in Stephens County. So it sounds like you have
[23:42] Speaker 1: had You've heard a lot, You've seen footprints, and you've
[23:46] Speaker 1: seen when you saw the that the nostril on esteaming
[23:54] Speaker 1: on or breathing on the window ten feet up. Did
[24:00] Speaker 1: you is it just you saw the steam on the
[24:03] Speaker 1: window or did you actually see it happen as well?
[24:07] Speaker 2: Oh?
[24:07] Speaker 3: No, I was inside the house and or it was
[24:12] Speaker 3: an old seventies modeled trailer and it was up on
[24:16] Speaker 3: stands about at least four feet off the ground, and
[24:19] Speaker 3: then if you can imagine the old kitchen windows, it
[24:23] Speaker 3: was on the side, so from the ground to that window,
[24:27] Speaker 3: had it been at least ten feet. What I heard
[24:30] Speaker 3: was something take a very deep breath and then blow
[24:34] Speaker 3: it out of its nostrils at that window, as if
[24:38] Speaker 3: it was looking inside the window. I didn't see anything,
[24:41] Speaker 3: but it is another one of those feelings that gave
[24:45] Speaker 3: me a really eerie feeling. And like I said, in
[24:52] Speaker 3: the same time frame, something cracked the tree at me.
[24:55] Speaker 3: Now that's another thing that's been happening to me a
[24:58] Speaker 3: lot is wood knocks. I've been experiencing a lot of
[25:01] Speaker 3: that too, But within a month's time, that tree knock.
[25:08] Speaker 3: And then because being way out in the hills like that,
[25:14] Speaker 3: there's you know, the neighbor could the closest neighbor could
[25:18] Speaker 3: be a mile away. But this thing. I tried to
[25:24] Speaker 3: pass it off as an elk or something just to
[25:29] Speaker 3: comfort myself. But the more I thought about it, the
[25:33] Speaker 3: more I thought, there's no way an elk could have
[25:36] Speaker 3: even reached its head up that far, or even why
[25:41] Speaker 3: would it even be looking in a window or being
[25:43] Speaker 3: that close to it. So it was definitely defined, like
[25:52] Speaker 3: I mean, you could this thing took a really really
[25:56] Speaker 3: deep breath and out its nostril, not like just like
[26:03] Speaker 3: a basic breath, you know, like it was just breathing
[26:12] Speaker 3: in and exhaling that woman death scream. Now that one there,
[26:19] Speaker 3: I can't I can't stress to you how sinister that is.
[26:28] Speaker 3: I mean, it's just wild. It's not a cat. If
[26:33] Speaker 3: anybody knows cats, and even cougar's out here, they're pretty big.
[26:38] Speaker 3: But even even a cougar couldn't make those noises.
[26:43] Speaker 1: So do you have any people that you know up
[26:49] Speaker 1: in that area or around Chewelah where they have actually
[26:53] Speaker 1: had sightings of what they thought was a bigfoot.
[27:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, there's actually quite a few people around the area
[27:05] Speaker 3: that will say they've you know, heard or seen something
[27:13] Speaker 3: like that. Sometimes you have to take it with a
[27:17] Speaker 3: grain of salt, you know. I never dismiss anything somebody
[27:22] Speaker 3: says because I wasn't there, so I don't know exactly
[27:28] Speaker 3: what it is that you know, they saw. But there's
[27:31] Speaker 3: definitely people around here that are have claims. Yes, But
[27:38] Speaker 3: it's also come to the point where there's a lot
[27:41] Speaker 3: of people that are calling themselves researchers, which, by the way,
[27:47] Speaker 3: I am not I'm.
[27:48] Speaker 2: Just an enthusiist.
[27:51] Speaker 3: I'm curious to the things that I've encountered.
[27:56] Speaker 1: But yeah, So when you think of bigfoot in this area,
[28:03] Speaker 1: do you have any thoughts about what it is exactly
[28:07] Speaker 1: that people are experiencing. Is it something where it might
[28:11] Speaker 1: be more of an undiscovered ape or something that's more
[28:15] Speaker 1: human or do you have any thoughts about that?
[28:19] Speaker 2: I do.
[28:22] Speaker 3: You know, you've heard a lot of people they believe
[28:27] Speaker 3: the evolution, which would be the gigant epithecus or things
[28:33] Speaker 3: like that. I am not on that page. I don't
[28:36] Speaker 3: believe in evolution per se. I believe that it's possible,
[28:42] Speaker 3: like my friend from Bumping Lake area, that there could
[28:46] Speaker 3: be primitive people out there.
[28:50] Speaker 2: And I also believe that.
[28:55] Speaker 3: The scriptures are true and that they have an account
[28:59] Speaker 3: of something and similar from Genesis chapter six, verses four.
[29:05] Speaker 3: It could be what we are witnessing here. But I
[29:08] Speaker 3: also know that my grandfather he told me back in the.
[29:15] Speaker 2: Day that.
[29:18] Speaker 3: In the early days, like at the turn of the
[29:21] Speaker 3: century or so, there was military efforts to hunt these
[29:26] Speaker 3: bigfoots in the United States and to kill them when
[29:30] Speaker 3: they were found, and that they were coming over out
[29:33] Speaker 3: of Russia. That area now this would kind of go
[29:38] Speaker 3: along with.
[29:40] Speaker 2: The Joseph Stalin.
[29:43] Speaker 3: Super Soldier experiment that you can find that information online.
[29:49] Speaker 3: But you know, as far as I'm concerned, I have
[29:52] Speaker 3: no clue exactly what it is. I just narrow it
[29:56] Speaker 3: down to those conclusions. And people would say, well, if
[30:03] Speaker 3: it's human, then how come they're so big? You know,
[30:07] Speaker 3: if you're somebody that's not confined to the civilization like
[30:13] Speaker 3: we are in the grocery store foods and stuff like that,
[30:17] Speaker 3: you're breathing better oxygen and eating better foods out there,
[30:21] Speaker 3: and then in the wilderness, which could allow you to
[30:25] Speaker 3: grow a little bit taller. Which even at that you
[30:31] Speaker 3: can you can see humans that get to be pretty
[30:34] Speaker 3: good sized too. So it's not it's not something that's
[30:41] Speaker 3: not feasible, you know. So I think that it could be.
[30:50] Speaker 3: It could be one of those things for sure, But
[30:55] Speaker 3: I'm not going to say I believe the great ape
[30:59] Speaker 3: thing or the Gigantropithicus.
[31:04] Speaker 1: Gotcha. Have you ever been to a place called Gypsy
[31:10] Speaker 1: Meadows or heard of any big food activity up in
[31:13] Speaker 1: that area?
[31:15] Speaker 2: I haven't been there, but that's up above.
[31:18] Speaker 3: That is up above Lake Sullivan, and I have friends
[31:23] Speaker 3: that go out there and they maintain that area.
[31:26] Speaker 2: It's just a little bit further away than I live.
[31:30] Speaker 3: So you know, I just pretty much maintained this area
[31:35] Speaker 3: that I'm at.
[31:36] Speaker 2: But yes, I've heard of Gypsy Meadow.
[31:39] Speaker 1: And by maintaining, are you saying that they actually are
[31:44] Speaker 1: are keeping it kept up for the state, or they're
[31:48] Speaker 1: actually going there looking for big food activity.
[31:52] Speaker 3: Maintaining their research activities, or you know, maybe they're enthusiasts
[32:01] Speaker 3: like me. And when I say maintain, like for myself
[32:06] Speaker 3: when I had the when I've had the vocals and
[32:09] Speaker 3: stuff here, I maintained that specific area looking for more
[32:14] Speaker 3: evidence and clues.
[32:16] Speaker 2: Which I did, by the way, find the wind.
[32:21] Speaker 3: After the winter of the Year of the Whoops, which
[32:24] Speaker 3: was twenty twenty two I believe, went into winter and
[32:29] Speaker 3: after the snow melted down, I was the first one
[32:33] Speaker 3: to get up towards Kallispell Peak, which is in the
[32:38] Speaker 3: same area that I that I stay, and I found
[32:44] Speaker 3: some tracks that were and up there. Whatever this was
[32:50] Speaker 3: bipedal walked down the side of the road in deep
[32:55] Speaker 3: snow during the winter and was so heavy that it
[33:01] Speaker 3: left impact instead of impression, and the snow melted down
[33:06] Speaker 3: away from these prints a good four inches, So whatever
[33:11] Speaker 3: it was walked through there had about six foot stride,
[33:15] Speaker 3: and these prints were in a straight line. I have
[33:18] Speaker 3: images of most of this stuff. Some of the images
[33:22] Speaker 3: I've lost, but these prints are obvious. And like I said,
[33:30] Speaker 3: whatever walked through there was so heavy that it left
[33:35] Speaker 3: an impact, and then the snow melted away from it,
[33:39] Speaker 3: leaving humps there. I followed those for about seventy five
[33:45] Speaker 3: yards before they crossed over the road and went up
[33:47] Speaker 3: into the woods. But yeah, when I say maintaining, I
[33:53] Speaker 3: just mean maintaining.
[33:56] Speaker 2: Effort in the areas.
[34:00] Speaker 3: When I said I got screamed at in September, I
[34:04] Speaker 3: maintained that area until after the winter. Then I went
[34:08] Speaker 3: back out there again and I found a track. I
[34:12] Speaker 3: found a track right below where I was at when
[34:17] Speaker 3: I got screamed at. Something at a full run hit
[34:22] Speaker 3: the side of the embankment clear toes, but it was
[34:28] Speaker 3: so steep I wasn't able to climb up there and
[34:32] Speaker 3: look for anything else. But yeah, that's what I mean
[34:37] Speaker 3: by maintaining the area. So I have friends that are
[34:42] Speaker 3: definitely in the Sullivan Lake area and Gypsy Meadows, but
[34:47] Speaker 3: there's a lot of people I guess there's people from
[34:50] Speaker 3: all over that come up into those areas.
[34:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, I've talked to a few individuals on the podcast.
[34:59] Speaker 1: I would say there's there's a few people that are
[35:02] Speaker 1: definitely checking out definitely the Gypsy Meadow area that I
[35:08] Speaker 1: know for sure. Uh, there's probably a few researchers checking
[35:12] Speaker 1: out that area. Thinking over, you know the years that
[35:17] Speaker 1: you've talked to people in Stevens County and lived in
[35:21] Speaker 1: this area, is there a story that is always passed
[35:27] Speaker 1: around by people that they used to prove that, yeah,
[35:31] Speaker 1: there's heavy bigfoot activity in this area.
[35:36] Speaker 3: Uh, well, one of the most one of the stories,
[35:42] Speaker 3: as far as I'm concerned, is back in sixty nine
[35:45] Speaker 3: when they had what they called the cripple Bigfoot, which
[35:49] Speaker 3: was in Bossburg.
[35:52] Speaker 2: Matter of fact, I was just watching.
[35:53] Speaker 3: They didn't mention Bosburg, but the three main or four
[35:58] Speaker 3: main people was Renee de Hindon, Roger Patterson, and there
[36:09] Speaker 3: was two oh Jim John Green, and then there was
[36:13] Speaker 3: another professor. They were all up here investigating that. So
[36:19] Speaker 3: I guess you would say the Bosberg Cripple Bigfoot is
[36:24] Speaker 3: one of the but you know, there's been a lot
[36:27] Speaker 3: of other things going on since then in the area,
[36:31] Speaker 3: and there's a lot of people that say they've actually
[36:36] Speaker 3: seen like one one report that I was given that
[36:42] Speaker 3: they saw something swim across the river and then climb
[36:46] Speaker 3: up the side of the mountain. And I don't remember
[36:52] Speaker 3: if that was I don't remember what river that was,
[36:56] Speaker 3: but they said that it navigated that river, slam upstream,
[37:01] Speaker 3: and when it got up to the mountain side, it
[37:05] Speaker 3: just crawled up like nothing on all four.
[37:11] Speaker 2: So, you know, not a bear of.
[37:16] Speaker 1: Course, right, Yeah, definitely. So the track that Joe was
[37:21] Speaker 1: talking about, if people want, if listeners want to look
[37:24] Speaker 1: more into that just also doctor Grover Krantz was really
[37:28] Speaker 1: involved with that, and it's called the Cripple Foot Bossburg track.
[37:36] Speaker 1: I believe that's what you'll want to look up. Yeah,
[37:39] Speaker 1: the cripple Foot tracks, there's a lot of information on that.
[37:43] Speaker 1: They're pretty cool. Yeah, very very unique bigfoot tracks for sure.
[37:51] Speaker 1: So you're saying, so people are actually giving you, have
[37:54] Speaker 1: been giving you reports of what they've experienced over the
[37:57] Speaker 1: years done.
[37:59] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, a lot of people reach out to well.
[38:02] Speaker 3: I used one of the local groups and would post
[38:08] Speaker 3: that I'm interested in hearing about any unnatural or you know,
[38:15] Speaker 3: sasquatch related events. I mostly get a lot of criticism,
[38:21] Speaker 3: but there are some people that will contact me privately.
[38:26] Speaker 2: One of those.
[38:28] Speaker 3: One of those reports was a man that was in
[38:33] Speaker 3: his tent. He said that during the night, something came
[38:38] Speaker 3: up and paused him in his tent and took all
[38:42] Speaker 3: of his food. And if it was like a bear,
[38:47] Speaker 3: a bear would have left, you know, garbage myths. But
[38:54] Speaker 3: he said that whatever took his food just took his
[38:58] Speaker 3: food and let no, it didn't leave no remnants, no
[39:05] Speaker 3: garbage or anything. He said that he saw something really
[39:10] Speaker 3: big come up through the shadow. You know, you can't
[39:13] Speaker 3: see through the tent, but he saw something really big
[39:16] Speaker 3: come up and then it tossed him in the tent.
[39:20] Speaker 3: He said it scared him so bad that he passed out,
[39:23] Speaker 3: and when he woke up in the morning, his tent
[39:25] Speaker 3: was he was inside of his tent and everything was
[39:30] Speaker 3: tossed around, and like I said, his food was gone
[39:34] Speaker 3: and stuff like that. But I have another report that
[39:41] Speaker 3: said that they hear these things communicating across the mountaintops
[39:47] Speaker 3: with vocals, and they say that they get all year,
[39:52] Speaker 3: they get all year activity with that. So just a
[39:58] Speaker 3: lot of basic One of the reports that I got
[40:02] Speaker 3: was a woman at Trout Lake fishing and something through
[40:08] Speaker 3: a rock off the side of the cliff that was
[40:11] Speaker 3: really at large and when it hit, it hit hard
[40:17] Speaker 3: out into the center of the lake.
[40:18] Speaker 2: So that means that whatever through this big rock through it, it.
[40:24] Speaker 3: Didn't fall off the side of the cliff because.
[40:27] Speaker 2: It landed out into the middle of the lake.
[40:30] Speaker 3: Which there's a lot of reports up in that area too,
[40:35] Speaker 3: and I have I had one lady tell me that
[40:41] Speaker 3: on the back side of forty nine degrees, which is
[40:44] Speaker 3: the ski resort here, they had a detour one year
[40:50] Speaker 3: where you had to come off a flowery trail and
[40:54] Speaker 3: go across Kalispell. And so she said, once she turned
[40:59] Speaker 3: on that she saw a man, a very large man
[41:04] Speaker 3: that was naked, and she said that it had visible hair,
[41:10] Speaker 3: but it was walking across that field. She said that
[41:14] Speaker 3: it didn't even ever acknowledge her or anything like that,
[41:17] Speaker 3: but it just kept on walking towards whatever it was
[41:21] Speaker 3: going for. She said that it had hair, but it
[41:25] Speaker 3: wasn't like a bear's hair or anything. It was just
[41:30] Speaker 3: like hair. So she said this thing was obviously a
[41:36] Speaker 3: male and that she could see it and it was
[41:40] Speaker 3: like a muscular guy, but very tall. So that's another
[41:46] Speaker 3: one of those things that kind of makes me wonder
[41:49] Speaker 3: about the primitive Indians out here. We are on three
[41:56] Speaker 3: different reservations. By the way. One of my reports, this
[42:03] Speaker 3: one was pretty interesting up in Kettle Falls back in
[42:08] Speaker 3: the early nineteen hundreds, I guess, or late eighteen hundreds.
[42:14] Speaker 3: One of my friends is Spokane tribal member says that
[42:20] Speaker 3: while they were fishing during the night sometime a squatch
[42:26] Speaker 3: came up and offered herbs from the forest in trade
[42:31] Speaker 3: for a fish. So they didn't say that that was.
[42:40] Speaker 2: Human like or anything.
[42:42] Speaker 3: They referred to him as Seesquette or Sway Night is
[42:48] Speaker 3: what they call him, Sway NiTi.
[42:53] Speaker 1: Did they happen to say what herbs they had brought?
[42:59] Speaker 2: He didn't say what herbs.
[43:01] Speaker 3: I could probably find that information out from him, but
[43:04] Speaker 3: I have all of these reports recorded to my channel,
[43:10] Speaker 3: which is Sam Squencher sixty seven. Most of the reports
[43:15] Speaker 3: that I've received are there, including that one. So yeah,
[43:25] Speaker 3: I think what I was to understand that these were
[43:29] Speaker 3: healing herbs.
[43:33] Speaker 2: Type from the forest.
[43:35] Speaker 1: You know, absolutely, I'm looking at your channel right now.
[43:38] Speaker 1: It looks pretty awesome because you and I love when
[43:42] Speaker 1: people are actually interviewing witnesses, and it looks like these
[43:47] Speaker 1: are video interviews, not just audio.
[43:51] Speaker 2: Right.
[43:52] Speaker 3: Yeah, there are interviews from several different people, including the
[43:57] Speaker 3: ones that I've mentioned. So that's basically what my channel
[44:07] Speaker 3: has been, including a few of the things that happened
[44:10] Speaker 3: to me. I didn't get the woman screaming recorded, but
[44:15] Speaker 3: I got one individual leaving the area making whooping noises
[44:23] Speaker 3: as it was leaving.
[44:25] Speaker 1: Wow, oh my goodness. We'll have to check that out
[44:31] Speaker 1: for sure. Are you getting reports ever from from any
[44:37] Speaker 1: encounters on the actual reservations?
[44:41] Speaker 2: Uh?
[44:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, Uh, they're one of the same. The same fella
[44:47] Speaker 3: that told me about his grandfather trading fish for herbs.
[44:56] Speaker 3: He was he was on the reservation. This this is
[45:03] Speaker 3: the Spokane because we're on Spokane, Calville and Kalistills here
[45:09] Speaker 3: the Spokane res by Well Pennant. He was up in
[45:12] Speaker 3: there and he said that he saw very large It
[45:18] Speaker 3: was squatted down and it was clacking rocks, and when
[45:23] Speaker 3: it stood up, it looked back and it sniffed the
[45:26] Speaker 3: air at him, and then it took off. He said
[45:29] Speaker 3: that it had long hair like the woman described that.
[45:36] Speaker 3: When it took off its hair just blew back in
[45:38] Speaker 3: the wind and it went into the forest. But then
[45:42] Speaker 3: it turned around and came back and got the rocks
[45:44] Speaker 3: and then disappeared into the forest.
[45:48] Speaker 2: So that was on the reds.
[45:52] Speaker 3: There's a lot of reports up in like Twin Lakes
[45:56] Speaker 3: area and stuff like that, but you don't want to
[46:00] Speaker 3: go out on the res especially at night, because if
[46:03] Speaker 3: you're not res member, you'll be booted off.
[46:08] Speaker 1: I think that's a great thing for you to bring up.
[46:11] Speaker 1: Though there are areas where you know, places like reservations,
[46:18] Speaker 1: you don't you can't just walk on to them. You
[46:21] Speaker 1: have to have the proper authority and the okay to
[46:26] Speaker 1: actually go to these areas. So definitely take that message
[46:32] Speaker 1: very seriously. Those who are are listening, please I need
[46:36] Speaker 1: to go through and and listen to your channel and
[46:39] Speaker 1: I'll definitely have it linked in this interview as well.
[46:42] Speaker 1: But you have this is sasquatch report from Inchellium.
[46:48] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's the one I'm talking about, Okay, gotcha?
[46:52] Speaker 3: Oh wait, wait, no, there's there's two of them from
[46:55] Speaker 3: in Chileum or Inileum in Chileum I think is probably
[46:59] Speaker 3: the pronunciation. But yeah, another one of them from a
[47:06] Speaker 3: friend of mine that was living out there. He had
[47:09] Speaker 3: something that walked across his property and walked down through
[47:13] Speaker 3: a pathway and then just disappeared. The tracks just disappeared.
[47:20] Speaker 3: So he had these and he had images of him too.
[47:23] Speaker 3: These great, big, huge bipedal prints with the long stride
[47:27] Speaker 3: walked really close to his house. They were getting all
[47:31] Speaker 3: kinds of vocals and stuff like that too. If you
[47:35] Speaker 3: listen to his report, it's pretty interesting. But like I said,
[47:40] Speaker 3: those tracks followed a tree line in his backyard, went
[47:45] Speaker 3: out of ways and then just stopped, like.
[47:49] Speaker 2: They just stopped.
[47:53] Speaker 3: So I went out and investigated that with him, and
[47:56] Speaker 3: I got that on video too.
[47:58] Speaker 2: There.
[48:00] Speaker 1: That's awesome, man. I love channels like yours where it's
[48:05] Speaker 1: just like old interviews people talking about their bigfoot experience.
[48:10] Speaker 1: I love finding those so definitely. I mean, it looks
[48:14] Speaker 1: like there's some good ones on there, So listeners go
[48:17] Speaker 1: check that out. And then if you do check it out,
[48:19] Speaker 1: make sure you subscribe and put in the comments like
[48:22] Speaker 1: hey here from Bigfoot Society or something like that, just
[48:25] Speaker 1: so that Joe knows where you came from. But oh
[48:30] Speaker 1: my good, it's good stuff. Do you have any do
[48:36] Speaker 1: you have any things planned for twenty twenty six different
[48:41] Speaker 1: you know, maybe things you're going to look forward during
[48:45] Speaker 1: regarding Bigfoot, or really you're just kind of you're living
[48:49] Speaker 1: in the area and you have to deal with this
[48:51] Speaker 1: from day to day.
[48:55] Speaker 3: I'm I'm an adventurous so I like to go out
[48:58] Speaker 3: in the woods a lot, and so like very none
[49:04] Speaker 3: of this has happened to me when I was out looking.
[49:08] Speaker 3: The only time that I've actually come across something when
[49:10] Speaker 3: I was looking was this was when I heard the wolves,
[49:15] Speaker 3: and I went up into the woods after that winter,
[49:18] Speaker 3: and then this last the September account I went back
[49:25] Speaker 3: out there after that and found a track. But most
[49:28] Speaker 3: of the time, the hey, these things happened to me
[49:32] Speaker 3: when I'm just out cruising. So for the winter, I'm
[49:36] Speaker 3: not going to go out. I used to go out
[49:38] Speaker 3: a lot, and I have found tracks in the snow
[49:42] Speaker 3: by the way, which is fun, but that snow is
[49:46] Speaker 3: too deep and I can't get out to these places
[49:50] Speaker 3: and it would be it would be really hard to
[49:53] Speaker 3: try to do tracking like that.
[49:58] Speaker 2: So I'm not going to do much for the winter.
[50:01] Speaker 3: But once the snow's gone and I'm able to access
[50:05] Speaker 3: out there, I'm gonna be going back out just for rides.
[50:09] Speaker 3: You know, I keep my eyes peeled, and you know,
[50:13] Speaker 3: tracking isn't something that I have to work at. I
[50:16] Speaker 3: mean it's pretty easy to see that unnatural and the natural,
[50:20] Speaker 3: you know, which is basically what tracking is. So I mean,
[50:25] Speaker 3: if I come across something, I'll know. I'm not one
[50:29] Speaker 3: of those.
[50:29] Speaker 2: People that.
[50:32] Speaker 3: Every X or every tree break is a sasquatch activity.
[50:36] Speaker 3: And I don't find every impression to be a footprint.
[50:39] Speaker 3: If it doesn't scream out to me, then I don't
[50:42] Speaker 3: pay it.
[50:42] Speaker 2: Noll nevermind.
[50:44] Speaker 3: So I'll just you know, go out and I'll enjoy
[50:49] Speaker 3: my time out in the woods, and if I come
[50:52] Speaker 3: across something, that's always fantastic. So that's basically I got
[50:59] Speaker 3: kind of bored with it because I did spend a
[51:03] Speaker 3: lot of time out there trying to look for stuff
[51:06] Speaker 3: but never find it. And so that's one reason why
[51:12] Speaker 3: my YouTube channel is pretty quiet and my Facebook. I
[51:18] Speaker 3: have a Facebook one too, so I only post things
[51:22] Speaker 3: that happen. You know, I'm not out there reaching trying
[51:26] Speaker 3: to just fill in all the blanks.
[51:31] Speaker 1: I totally got it, And you're focused on a certain area,
[51:33] Speaker 1: which I think is extremely important. If more people focused
[51:39] Speaker 1: on the weird stuff in their own area, then we
[51:43] Speaker 1: would get way more information, I believe. But Joe, thank
[51:47] Speaker 1: you so much for coming on the program today and
[51:51] Speaker 1: for sharing what you've experienced over the years. I want
[51:54] Speaker 1: to make sure that you were able to share everything
[51:56] Speaker 1: you came to the show to talk about today.
[52:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
[52:01] Speaker 1: Keep us in the loop. If you're a year down
[52:05] Speaker 1: the road and you start to hear other stuff, would
[52:07] Speaker 1: love to hear about it, or if you run into
[52:10] Speaker 1: other people in that area and they might be interested
[52:15] Speaker 1: in sharing their story, you can always feel free to
[52:18] Speaker 1: pass on my information. But is a pleasure chatting with
[52:21] Speaker 1: you today, Joe, Thank you.
[52:24] Speaker 2: And no problem.
[52:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, since now that I've connected with you, I will
[52:29] Speaker 3: definitely keep you informed with whatever I come across.
[52:34] Speaker 1: Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something
[52:36] Speaker 1: directly to a very specific group of listeners. If you're
[52:39] Speaker 1: in the military, any branch or forces, and if you've
[52:43] Speaker 1: seen something that no one can explain, or if you're
[52:46] Speaker 1: a National park ranger or forestry worker who's been told
[52:49] Speaker 1: to stay quiet, if you're a pilot who's seen something
[52:53] Speaker 1: strange down on the ground, or if you're with the FBI,
[52:57] Speaker 1: A federal agency or working intelligence and dumbled upon something
[53:01] Speaker 1: you're not allowed to talk about. And if you're a firefighter, paramedic,
[53:04] Speaker 1: or search and rescue responder who's heard screams or found
[53:08] Speaker 1: tracks that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging
[53:11] Speaker 1: industry on a remote oil field or a trucker with
[53:15] Speaker 1: government contracts and you've had something happen that you've never
[53:19] Speaker 1: told a soul. And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist,
[53:23] Speaker 1: or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence
[53:26] Speaker 1: you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor, a missionary,
[53:30] Speaker 1: or someone on a spiritual retreat and you saw something
[53:33] Speaker 1: that shook your faith, or if you work in the shadows, CIA,
[53:37] Speaker 1: NSA or anything with clearance and you've seen what the
[53:41] Speaker 1: public hasn't, then I want to talk to you, even
