Originally released as Episode 524 of Bigfoot Society on 9/11/24. In 1979, a 12-year-old boy found himself stranded on a lonely road outside Tomahawk, Wisconsin after a stolen junkyard car broke down in the middle of the night. What happened next stayed buried for more than 40 years. As he walked toward town under a bright moon, something massive moved through the swamp beside him. Trees shook. The sounds got closer. Then an enormous figure stepped from the darkness and began pacing him from across the road. For miles. Pete shares one of the most intense encounters ever featured on Bigfoot Society, describing a face-to-face experience with a creature he estimates stood 8 to 9 feet tall. He recalls every detail—the eyes, the hands, the teeth, the body proportions, and the fear that followed him for decades. The story expands into a deeper mystery involving the same remote area of northern Wisconsin. Strange sightings, Dogman reports, unexplained activity around homes, and multiple missing-person cases have all been reported within a small geographic region surrounding Highway O and Bellevue Road. You'll also hear from Rick in Warren County, Ohio, who describes a night filled with precise wood knocks, owl-like vocalizations, and a strange aerial object that appeared above his property. His investigation led him to discover a history of Bigfoot reports in the same area. 📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here: https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? [0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Big for Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
[0:03] Speaker 1: In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to
[0:05] Speaker 1: bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've
[0:08] Speaker 1: seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers
[0:12] Speaker 1: to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 2: So stay with us.
[0:31] Speaker 1: Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his
[0:34] Speaker 1: fight against cancer. For more updates about his medical journey,
[0:38] Speaker 1: please go to the carring Bridge link in the show notes.
[0:42] Speaker 1: Thank you all right, Big for Society. You've got the
[0:45] Speaker 1: privilege of talking to Pete today. Pete is an individual
[0:47] Speaker 1: that reached out to me from up in Wisconsin, and
[0:52] Speaker 1: he's got some interesting thing. He's got some interesting things
[0:56] Speaker 1: that happened to him back quite a while ago. But
[0:59] Speaker 1: I'm going to go ahead and let him kind of
[1:02] Speaker 1: set the stage. And thanks for coming on the show, Pete.
[1:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, No, brom Vremot, thanks for letting me. My name
[1:10] Speaker 3: is Pete.
[1:10] Speaker 4: I was born in nineteen sixty seven in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
[1:17] Speaker 4: Just to set the mood a little bit, like if
[1:19] Speaker 4: you've never been to Wisconsin, when you get up cast,
[1:23] Speaker 4: the sand burns like midway through the state, the northern
[1:26] Speaker 4: half starts like the lake country. Minnesota's like clayming the
[1:31] Speaker 4: same as you know ten thousand lakes, they actually have
[1:34] Speaker 4: like thirteen thousand. Wisconsin has fifteen thousand. Alaska has over
[1:39] Speaker 4: a million. So it's swampy lake country up here. My
[1:46] Speaker 4: encounter happened in nineteen seventy nine, and seriously, like the
[1:52] Speaker 4: reason I came on this show was like I wanted
[1:55] Speaker 4: to tell my story to thousands of people that I
[1:58] Speaker 4: knew would believe me. I never said anything for probably
[2:03] Speaker 4: forty years about this, And when I first started telling people,
[2:07] Speaker 4: they would look at you like you were crazy.
[2:11] Speaker 3: You'd say, oh, hey, that's a cool story. You want
[2:13] Speaker 3: to hear a bigfoot.
[2:14] Speaker 4: Story, and you know you might as well be running
[2:17] Speaker 4: around telling people you've seen bugs bunny running out of
[2:19] Speaker 4: the woods because it's just so fanciful and so anyway,
[2:24] Speaker 4: I didn't tell my story until probably five years ago,
[2:29] Speaker 4: and I was watching bigfoot podcasts and stuff, and I thought, man.
[2:34] Speaker 3: That'd be cool just to get this out of my chest.
[2:37] Speaker 4: I'd been trying with people that I knew, and like
[2:39] Speaker 4: nobody was trying to hear it.
[2:40] Speaker 3: They're like, yeah, sure, whatever.
[2:42] Speaker 4: But about five years ago I got the courage and
[2:45] Speaker 4: I text Steve Idahl from How to Hunt about my
[2:50] Speaker 4: encounter and it was kind of bland because he was
[2:53] Speaker 4: reading it, you know, from an email. So my encounter
[2:58] Speaker 4: happened in nineteen seventy nine. I was twelve years old.
[3:02] Speaker 4: My dad owns a or owned a racetrack and a
[3:06] Speaker 4: junkyard here in Tomahawk, which is a little community of
[3:09] Speaker 4: thirty five hundred people, and being kids, I was the
[3:13] Speaker 4: youngest of thirteen. Having a junkyard, we always had junk
[3:17] Speaker 4: cars to drive around, but we didn't have driver's license.
[3:21] Speaker 4: So in my town, you could look from my house
[3:25] Speaker 4: to the parking lot of the police station. This is
[3:27] Speaker 4: nineteen seventy nine and see if the squad. If the
[3:31] Speaker 4: squad car was there, you could get in one of
[3:34] Speaker 4: the dad's junk cars that ran, and you and a
[3:36] Speaker 4: couple of your buddies go cruising. Out in the boondocks
[3:39] Speaker 4: or whatever. So we'd wait for the cop to you know,
[3:42] Speaker 4: pulling the station, and we knew we'd get out of town,
[3:44] Speaker 4: but we had to drive out of town because we
[3:45] Speaker 4: didn't have license while I was twelve years old. So
[3:49] Speaker 4: one particular night, probably September, I had taken a like
[3:57] Speaker 4: nineteen seventy two Toyota Tursell for a joy right on
[4:01] Speaker 4: the junkyard when I did it at night, And if
[4:05] Speaker 4: you can kind of picture this if you looked at
[4:07] Speaker 4: the map, obviously north being north Tomahawk, or if you
[4:11] Speaker 4: had a tee, Tomahawk could be down on the left
[4:14] Speaker 4: corner of the tee. You go up to the top
[4:16] Speaker 4: corner of the tee. One road goes left, one road
[4:19] Speaker 4: goes right. The road that goes left is twenty eight
[4:23] Speaker 4: miles long, it's Highway E. The road that goes right
[4:27] Speaker 4: is a four mile stretch called Highway ALL. So it's
[4:31] Speaker 4: about three and a half miles out of town to
[4:33] Speaker 4: Highway HO. I get to Highway ALL, I take a
[4:36] Speaker 4: right and I'm noticing that my headlights are getting dim
[4:41] Speaker 4: so I rolled down the window. When I rolled down
[4:44] Speaker 4: the window, like you could hear the cicadas and crickets
[4:47] Speaker 4: and bowl frogs, you know.
[4:48] Speaker 3: It's just.
[4:51] Speaker 4: So I lean my head out the window to listen,
[4:54] Speaker 4: and the lights are getting dimmer and dimmer. So I
[4:57] Speaker 4: turn off the dash lights, turn off the radio, and
[4:59] Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I got turn this car around and
[5:00] Speaker 4: get back home. Well, the car ends up dying about
[5:05] Speaker 4: a half mile from this four to four and a
[5:08] Speaker 4: half mile stretch of highway home, and I'm like, I
[5:11] Speaker 4: got to get this car back. Dad's gonna notice is
[5:14] Speaker 4: gone next morning. So I get out of the car.
[5:17] Speaker 4: There's like a muskeg area, probably half the size of
[5:20] Speaker 4: a football field on the side that the car was
[5:24] Speaker 4: broke down on. There's another smaller muskeg field kind of
[5:28] Speaker 4: the left, which is indicative of a swamp cattail's growing
[5:32] Speaker 4: up and stuff. So I'm kind of debating what do
[5:36] Speaker 4: I want to do. It's a long walk back to town.
[5:38] Speaker 4: It's probably like eleven o'clock at night. So I start
[5:41] Speaker 4: walking across this little two lane county road, you know,
[5:46] Speaker 4: four foot gravel on end, going down to the swamp
[5:48] Speaker 4: on both sides, and it's like ninety percent full moon
[5:55] Speaker 4: with a little bit of cloud covers. So you can
[5:57] Speaker 4: literally see, you know, pretty much everything. So well, I
[6:01] Speaker 4: hear a noise and I look over and I see
[6:04] Speaker 4: like the tallest pines that are probably like eighty foot
[6:07] Speaker 4: on the edge of the swamp, maybe sixty footers are
[6:10] Speaker 4: shaken back and forth, and I'm like, what in the
[6:13] Speaker 4: world is that? And then I see the next tree
[6:16] Speaker 4: shake and the next tree shake, and then two of
[6:18] Speaker 4: them are shaken like someone's pulling on them. Now, typically
[6:24] Speaker 4: the biggest animal we would have up here in black bear.
[6:26] Speaker 4: The state records like seven hundred and eighty three pounds,
[6:30] Speaker 4: So I'm thinking it's got to be a black bear.
[6:32] Speaker 3: So now I'm getting kind of scared.
[6:34] Speaker 4: I kind of walk back to the car, and I'm
[6:36] Speaker 4: thinking should I get back in the car, And I'm like,
[6:39] Speaker 4: I don't want to be stuck out here, you know,
[6:40] Speaker 4: with whatever that is or that bear trying to dig
[6:43] Speaker 4: in the car.
[6:43] Speaker 3: So I'm like, I'm just gonna start walking real fast.
[6:47] Speaker 4: As I'm walking pretty much as fasts probably as a
[6:50] Speaker 4: twelve year old could do without running. The trees a
[6:53] Speaker 4: get still moving and they're getting closer and closer to
[6:56] Speaker 4: the road. Well, growing up in the seventies, like my
[7:02] Speaker 4: exposure to Bigfoot was like Steve's whatever his name was,
[7:08] Speaker 4: with a six million dollar man, Steve Auston or whatever,
[7:12] Speaker 4: where he wrestled Bigfoot. If anybody remembers that show, it
[7:16] Speaker 4: was probably on the nineteen seventy six or so.
[7:21] Speaker 3: That was pretty much my exposure to it.
[7:23] Speaker 4: You know, we had abcnbccbs, so we didn't like ever
[7:26] Speaker 4: hear anything. I've heard about Bigfoot. I probably got books
[7:29] Speaker 4: in school about them. But to my mesmerment or astonishment,
[7:36] Speaker 4: it steps out from the edge of that tree bank
[7:39] Speaker 4: into the ditch, which is probably thirty thirty six inches deep,
[7:45] Speaker 4: and starts walking along with me. Now, everything in me
[7:52] Speaker 4: told me do not run, don't run, don't run, because
[7:55] Speaker 4: I was trying not to elicit that predator responsor, you know,
[7:59] Speaker 4: the chase response. But my mind said that, my leg
[8:04] Speaker 4: said something different. So I started booking it. And I'm
[8:09] Speaker 4: looking across at as saying, I mean it sing's sixteen
[8:13] Speaker 4: feet away from me, and it's stepping like well, I
[8:19] Speaker 4: was smaller back then, so it probably seems like it
[8:22] Speaker 4: was a bigger step when I was a kid, But
[8:25] Speaker 4: I would say eight to ten foot steps. So as
[8:28] Speaker 4: I'm running as fast as I can. This thing is
[8:30] Speaker 4: walking just leisurely clipped with its hand swinging, just like
[8:36] Speaker 4: the Patterson film. Now, I got like three miles to
[8:41] Speaker 4: go to get back to the street light where highway
[8:46] Speaker 4: ends and eat starts. If I took a left, i'd
[8:49] Speaker 4: go back to Twan. So I'm like, man, oh man,
[8:53] Speaker 4: this is something else. Now when I think back on it,
[8:56] Speaker 4: it to me it seems like I was floating over
[8:59] Speaker 4: the scene watching what was happening, with the big Foot
[9:02] Speaker 4: on one side, the roade me on the other side.
[9:04] Speaker 4: That's kind of what my memory tells me now. But anyway,
[9:09] Speaker 4: so I'm running down this road, and halfway down this
[9:13] Speaker 4: road a guy had put up a quonset hut, which
[9:17] Speaker 4: the army would helicopter them around you could park like
[9:20] Speaker 4: a Willy's jeep, and.
[9:21] Speaker 3: There a couple of them.
[9:23] Speaker 4: So he somehow got a hold of this coanset hut
[9:26] Speaker 4: and he put it up right alongside the road and
[9:28] Speaker 4: highway all and he had a street light out in front.
[9:32] Speaker 4: And as I'm running, I probably had covered a mile
[9:35] Speaker 4: at this point, like looking at this saying, just sinking,
[9:38] Speaker 4: it's literally just going to reach its arm across the
[9:41] Speaker 4: road and fricking grab me and wring my neck.
[9:45] Speaker 3: So to say like that I was.
[9:48] Speaker 4: Terrified, There's not even a word to describe the amount
[9:52] Speaker 4: of terror that I had floaten through me, especially being
[9:56] Speaker 4: an impressionable, you know, twelve year old bo. So anyone,
[10:02] Speaker 4: how I keep running. Well, I'm coming up over this
[10:05] Speaker 4: little crest of a hill and I see that yard
[10:08] Speaker 4: light where that coonsit hut was. So I'm thinking, man,
[10:13] Speaker 4: all right, I forgot. I just got to get to
[10:14] Speaker 4: that yard light. And it's probably three quarters of a
[10:17] Speaker 4: mile or a mile distant when I first see the light.
[10:22] Speaker 4: So I'm like, yes, And I'm sitting there thinking, I mean,
[10:25] Speaker 4: this thing's been running even if I did a seven
[10:28] Speaker 4: minute mile, I mean, this thing's been running walking alongside me,
[10:31] Speaker 4: running for ten minutes by now, or eight minutes whatever.
[10:35] Speaker 4: It was a long period of time. But at this
[10:39] Speaker 4: point it's starting to come into my head. I'm just thinking,
[10:42] Speaker 4: there's a billion things come into my head. But I'm like, man,
[10:45] Speaker 4: I'm dead. You know, why hasn't even grabbed me? When
[10:48] Speaker 4: it grabs me, I hope it's quick, you know, Like
[10:52] Speaker 4: what are my parents gonna think? Or they ever gonna
[10:54] Speaker 4: find me? Like all this is going through your head.
[10:56] Speaker 4: So anyhow, I'm getting closer to the light, I get
[11:02] Speaker 4: a half mile away or whatever, it's getting brighter and
[11:04] Speaker 4: brighter and brighter. And then it just dawned on me
[11:08] Speaker 4: or something. Epiphany came to me that if it was
[11:12] Speaker 4: gonna grab me, it was gonna grab me before I
[11:14] Speaker 4: got to that street light, because obviously it's gonna want
[11:17] Speaker 4: to do it under the cover of darkness. So now
[11:20] Speaker 4: I'm like a quarter mile away from the light and
[11:22] Speaker 4: I'm getting closer, and I'm getting really scared to get
[11:26] Speaker 4: to that light, but I got no other.
[11:28] Speaker 3: Place to go.
[11:31] Speaker 4: So I'm like, Okay, the plan is when I get
[11:33] Speaker 4: like two blocks and I'm going to, you know, just
[11:35] Speaker 4: put it in the final gear that I got overdriving,
[11:38] Speaker 4: get up to that house, and run into that house.
[11:41] Speaker 4: So it's something in me like if you would ask
[11:44] Speaker 4: if I would do that again, would I do this?
[11:46] Speaker 4: I slowed down and started walking, like I don't know,
[11:49] Speaker 4: maybe three or four blocks away from the light. And
[11:53] Speaker 4: when I started walking, I noticed how hard I was bawling,
[11:58] Speaker 4: like literally sobbing, and I literally just looked over at
[12:02] Speaker 4: it and I said, dude, I will never say I
[12:06] Speaker 4: seen you, Like, I got no problems with you. I'm
[12:09] Speaker 4: just a kid. I just want to live. I want
[12:11] Speaker 4: my mom and dad. And this thing did the like
[12:15] Speaker 4: Sierra sound thing like, and like literally talked back to me,
[12:22] Speaker 4: and I just kept walking.
[12:23] Speaker 3: And then like I'm getting closer.
[12:25] Speaker 4: I'm getting closer, and I'm trying to think of anything
[12:27] Speaker 4: I can say, because I can tell like there's like
[12:30] Speaker 4: a dialogue going trying to elicit any empathy I could
[12:34] Speaker 4: from this saying to spare me. And when I got
[12:37] Speaker 4: like a block away from the street light, I just
[12:39] Speaker 4: booked it, or maybe two blocks away, ran up, started
[12:43] Speaker 4: pounding on the door. Bigfoot, I hate to even call
[12:47] Speaker 4: it that. That sounds so cliche. Whatever it was, sasquatch
[12:52] Speaker 4: took a write started crashing through the woods and I
[12:56] Speaker 4: could just hear crack crack, I mean just like a
[13:00] Speaker 4: bulldozer was going through the woods. And I knocked on
[13:03] Speaker 4: the door. No one came to the door, and they
[13:06] Speaker 4: had a two ninety six nineteen seventy six three on
[13:11] Speaker 4: the tree, Chevy pickup orange one and I got in
[13:15] Speaker 4: there and man, he's wearing there.
[13:18] Speaker 3: I thought they don't come out.
[13:20] Speaker 4: I blew my horn for like five minutes and I'm like,
[13:22] Speaker 4: there's no way that I'm staying out by this, saying
[13:27] Speaker 4: Kee's are in the truck, I'm head of the town.
[13:29] Speaker 3: So that's pretty much the end of it there. And
[13:35] Speaker 3: like I said, I didn't tell anybody.
[13:37] Speaker 4: Probably the first time was about five years ago. And
[13:43] Speaker 4: believe it or not, one of the people I told
[13:46] Speaker 4: was one of my sisters. So we had this remembrance
[13:52] Speaker 4: party for a guy named Ronnie Proctor up here. He
[13:54] Speaker 4: was a Vietnam vet houned at Northwood Sambron and Ronnie
[13:58] Speaker 4: from't been dead for fifteen at this point, but we
[14:00] Speaker 4: had a remembrance for him. And my sister walks up
[14:03] Speaker 4: to me and she says, Peter, tell me about your
[14:07] Speaker 4: bigfoot encounter.
[14:09] Speaker 3: And I was like, uh, shot.
[14:12] Speaker 4: Up, like why did you do that, looked at me,
[14:15] Speaker 4: and she goes, oh, I believe you, she said, because
[14:17] Speaker 4: I've had dog man encounters.
[14:20] Speaker 3: So that kicked off a whole other thing.
[14:22] Speaker 4: And she had a dog man encounter and the guy
[14:27] Speaker 4: three miles away from her was having dog man encounters
[14:30] Speaker 4: and he's been missing for twelve years. And two years
[14:34] Speaker 4: ago another guy disappeared like from three miles away from there,
[14:38] Speaker 4: without a trace, like infirm guy that rode a hover around,
[14:44] Speaker 4: no activity in those credit cards or nothing. And then
[14:48] Speaker 4: about forty years ago another guy went messing there. But obviously,
[14:53] Speaker 4: you know, no one even thought big Bigfoot or dog
[14:56] Speaker 4: Man at that point. But so I'm starting to think
[14:59] Speaker 4: there's some hurting the various stuff going on around here.
[15:04] Speaker 1: So wow, first off, thank you for sharing that with
[15:09] Speaker 1: the audience. I mean, that is that's an incredible story
[15:13] Speaker 1: for something. I mean, for you to go through that
[15:15] Speaker 1: as a twelve year old, that is just incredibly intense.
[15:19] Speaker 4: You know, I've had events in my life like like
[15:23] Speaker 4: a car accident I had a couple of months ago.
[15:25] Speaker 4: You know, it's where you think about it and you
[15:27] Speaker 4: kind of just shake your head and think like man,
[15:29] Speaker 4: oh man, But I'm telling you that encounter Jeremiah, for me,
[15:34] Speaker 4: like at least five days a week, I still dwell
[15:38] Speaker 4: on that and literally shake my head and just think
[15:41] Speaker 4: is that crazy or.
[15:43] Speaker 3: What that that happened to me?
[15:45] Speaker 4: Because I mean, part of it's a miraculous thing, and
[15:49] Speaker 4: another part of it's just like Luminoucy. You know, it's
[15:53] Speaker 4: where you're like thinking you lost your mind almost.
[15:56] Speaker 1: I agree that when the logical side of our brains
[15:59] Speaker 1: to art's kicking in. It just it can't handle any
[16:02] Speaker 1: of that stuff, and it tries to explain it away,
[16:05] Speaker 1: and I get, I haven't seen anything yet, but I've
[16:09] Speaker 1: heard stuff, and it tries to explain it away, and
[16:11] Speaker 1: it's intense. Do you remember anything about what you saw
[16:17] Speaker 1: that day? Like did you get a good look at
[16:19] Speaker 1: the face at all?
[16:20] Speaker 3: Or sure?
[16:21] Speaker 4: Man, I could see, like I said, that moon was
[16:25] Speaker 4: like it was probably like ninety eight percent full with
[16:29] Speaker 4: occasional cloud cover. And when them clouds weren't covering that moon,
[16:33] Speaker 4: I mean it was just you know, almost.
[16:36] Speaker 3: Like daylight out.
[16:38] Speaker 4: I seen every aspect of it, believe it or not,
[16:43] Speaker 4: except for the feet. I mean the high brow ridge,
[16:50] Speaker 4: higher set, cheap bones, uh slared out no was believe
[16:54] Speaker 4: it or not, thin lips like didn't have big lips,
[16:58] Speaker 4: just had like them thin chimp whips, big like horse
[17:03] Speaker 4: chickle of teeth. Now, thinking back, I don't remember really
[17:10] Speaker 4: seeing ears. Definitely had the cone head with the giant
[17:15] Speaker 4: trap muscles, huge hands like I would say mine or
[17:23] Speaker 4: the one that I seen was eight foot tall, but
[17:27] Speaker 4: part of me, as an adult, thinks it might have
[17:30] Speaker 4: been like nine foot tall. But yet the hands on
[17:35] Speaker 4: that thing had to be they had to be sixteen
[17:38] Speaker 4: inches from wrist to fingertips with you know, fingers like
[17:42] Speaker 4: the size of Kilbosa. Like the grip strength that thing
[17:47] Speaker 4: would have had in them hands would just have to
[17:49] Speaker 4: be out of this world. And I remember seeing them
[17:55] Speaker 4: hands as he was walking because they were swinging back
[17:59] Speaker 4: and forth, and like my biggest fear was like, man,
[18:02] Speaker 4: I hope he doesn't wrap them around my neck for real?
[18:07] Speaker 2: Wow?
[18:08] Speaker 1: How far down were the hands hanging on the body.
[18:12] Speaker 3: Which I would say, I would say three inches below
[18:15] Speaker 3: the knee.
[18:16] Speaker 1: Okay, were you able to get a feel for what
[18:20] Speaker 1: color it was? Maybe like what length of hair anything
[18:24] Speaker 1: like that?
[18:27] Speaker 4: I would say the hair length, I would say it
[18:29] Speaker 4: was like two to three inches. It definitely didn't have
[18:34] Speaker 4: like a big droopy fur cold or six inch long hair.
[18:39] Speaker 3: And who knows. I mean that could be due to
[18:41] Speaker 3: the food.
[18:42] Speaker 4: Source up here as a post other places, but uh,
[18:46] Speaker 4: color was probably dark brown. You know, there may have
[18:52] Speaker 4: been like some orange or red in her, but really
[18:55] Speaker 4: I couldn't see what that moonlight. I mean, it just
[18:58] Speaker 4: I would say, e they're black or dark them, aren't
[19:02] Speaker 4: Jeremiah like seriously like them, biceps had to be like
[19:07] Speaker 4: thirty five inches around wow, you know bicep and tricep.
[19:14] Speaker 3: Which is just gargantulin. The forum too, you know the forum.
[19:22] Speaker 4: I don't know, probably twenty inches around at the you know,
[19:26] Speaker 4: forearm muscle. Like this thing should literally be able to
[19:30] Speaker 4: grab a car and like crush it like a soda can.
[19:34] Speaker 1: Did it affect you in any way as you grew up?
[19:39] Speaker 2: Did it?
[19:40] Speaker 1: Would you see it in your dreams? Or were there
[19:42] Speaker 1: any other weird things that would happen to you as
[19:45] Speaker 1: you grew up that might be connected to that sighting?
[19:50] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[19:50] Speaker 4: Probably the most poignant, you know, event that ever happened
[19:55] Speaker 4: to me. Like I said earlier, you know, there's events
[19:59] Speaker 4: that in your life. We're on occasion you think him
[20:02] Speaker 4: and be like, yeah, that was something else and kind
[20:04] Speaker 4: of shake your head. But like I said, five days
[20:08] Speaker 4: a week at least I sit here and reflect back
[20:10] Speaker 4: in that encounter for the last forty four years or
[20:14] Speaker 4: whatever and just shake my head like did that really
[20:18] Speaker 4: happen to me? Like, you know, it's so far fetched
[20:23] Speaker 4: that it's hard to even believe it happened to me myself.
[20:26] Speaker 4: I mean, it's just surreal. If you were to say, hey, Peter,
[20:30] Speaker 4: let me tell you about seeing you know, the three
[20:32] Speaker 4: pig cartoon characters.
[20:34] Speaker 3: On the woods, I mean yeah, I'd be like, okay,
[20:37] Speaker 3: Jeremiah with.
[20:38] Speaker 1: Right, right, have you ever seen anything that even comes
[20:42] Speaker 1: close to what you saw that day? No, so no
[20:47] Speaker 1: representation of it is even close.
[20:50] Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, Bigfoot, that's it.
[20:53] Speaker 1: Well, you know how there's like different versions of it.
[20:55] Speaker 1: There's like your Harry and the Henderson's or you know
[20:59] Speaker 1: there's the the like ones where I let's say, like
[21:04] Speaker 1: from Exists or or the Patterson Gimlin film version or
[21:08] Speaker 1: any of those even come close to what you saw.
[21:11] Speaker 4: Well, I mean not probably quite as cosmetic looking as
[21:17] Speaker 4: Harry Anderson's, but that would be a pretty good representation
[21:20] Speaker 4: of it. And really, when I think about like some
[21:23] Speaker 4: of the emotions, like responding to when I started telling it,
[21:28] Speaker 4: like I'll never tell anyone I've seen you in I'm
[21:30] Speaker 4: just a kid and I want to get home. Like
[21:32] Speaker 4: some of his like facial expressions were kind of like huh,
[21:36] Speaker 4: Like oh really, I didn't realize that, So they it
[21:41] Speaker 4: did have like a level of emotion to it, or
[21:45] Speaker 4: your curiosity at the very least.
[21:48] Speaker 1: Oh so you think maybe, I mean, that could go
[21:51] Speaker 1: a few ways. Maybe he understood you, or perhaps he
[21:54] Speaker 1: was just like, what is this little creature making noise now?
[21:59] Speaker 1: And and what's coming out of its mouth? Maybe he
[22:02] Speaker 1: was just curious at that.
[22:03] Speaker 4: We don't know, right, Yeah, But regardless if it was
[22:07] Speaker 4: curiosity or empathy or what I mean, it wasn't just
[22:11] Speaker 4: like you know, one of my cats, which is one
[22:14] Speaker 4: hundred percent instinct, you know it was there was some
[22:19] Speaker 4: level of restraint or you know, empathy or empathy you know,
[22:25] Speaker 4: towards me and probably my bawling. And I know I
[22:29] Speaker 4: often think a lot like I wonder if like shedding
[22:32] Speaker 4: them tears saved me that day, you know, like if
[22:35] Speaker 4: I would have been more stoic, might I never have
[22:37] Speaker 4: been heard from again? You analyze it every way, almost
[22:43] Speaker 4: every day of your entire life, and you know, try
[22:48] Speaker 4: to think back on certain little things that you might
[22:51] Speaker 4: have missed and your overanalyzed parts of it.
[22:56] Speaker 3: I mean, the fact of it. You know, my encounter
[22:58] Speaker 3: was pretty intense.
[23:00] Speaker 4: Mean that the thing was fourteen sixteen feet away from
[23:03] Speaker 4: me for fifteen minutes. Yeah, not super dramatic, but it
[23:12] Speaker 4: was pretty traumatizing still is. You don't think I've ever
[23:17] Speaker 4: had a nightmare over it or anything like that. But
[23:21] Speaker 4: I'll tell you when I go camping boy, like if
[23:25] Speaker 4: I hear a fraud movement, I'm, you know, like, oh
[23:29] Speaker 4: what is that?
[23:31] Speaker 2: Right?
[23:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously they're real, And I mean I know that
[23:38] Speaker 4: without a doubt. So I mean, I know they're out there,
[23:40] Speaker 4: and that one put it past one and come visit campers,
[23:44] Speaker 4: you know, like to reportedly do.
[23:48] Speaker 1: Did it have an older look to it or a
[23:50] Speaker 1: younger look or did you get any feel for the
[23:52] Speaker 1: age of it at all?
[23:54] Speaker 4: To me, it looked like it was like what a
[23:57] Speaker 4: fort year fifty year old human would look like. Sure,
[24:01] Speaker 4: like it had like the what I took to be
[24:04] Speaker 4: is like beginning crows feet, because I reflected back on
[24:09] Speaker 4: that thousands of times too, and then based on like
[24:12] Speaker 4: the roughness looking look of the teeth, and that looked
[24:18] Speaker 4: like it had some seasoning to it.
[24:23] Speaker 1: In in the Tomahawk area, it sounds like you've never
[24:26] Speaker 1: heard any other stories of anyone seeing a big foot
[24:30] Speaker 1: in that area.
[24:32] Speaker 4: Uh, not the bigfoot, but the couple of dog man
[24:36] Speaker 4: stories I kind of briefly talked about it. There is
[24:40] Speaker 4: also a guy like twenty five miles north of Tomahawk,
[24:47] Speaker 4: like two decades ago, was driving back from Monaca, which
[24:51] Speaker 4: is a resort town, and got to a highway named
[24:54] Speaker 4: Highway K, and dog Man ran out in front of
[24:57] Speaker 4: his car, and he started the Northern Wisconsin dog Man
[25:03] Speaker 4: Research Center or something like that.
[25:05] Speaker 3: I'm not sure what it is, but it's up there.
[25:08] Speaker 4: But other than that Bigfoot, Nope, Like I'm the only
[25:13] Speaker 4: one that I know of. There are sightings like sixty
[25:18] Speaker 4: miles northwest of Tomahawk that have been on podcasts, like
[25:22] Speaker 4: in Phillips, but I've never never heard of any other
[25:26] Speaker 4: ones in Tomahawk.
[25:29] Speaker 1: So sometimes we talk about dog Man. If it comes
[25:33] Speaker 1: up organically, I don't go out and pursue it just because,
[25:38] Speaker 1: to be honest, it freaks me out a little bit.
[25:40] Speaker 1: But since you brought it up, are these what kind
[25:44] Speaker 1: of interactions were these? Were these like pretty wild ones.
[25:48] Speaker 4: Or okay, yeah, well I'll actually just tell it, okay
[25:52] Speaker 4: this one time's god Anyway, So when my sister walked
[25:56] Speaker 4: up at that cook on, she said, tell you're a
[25:58] Speaker 4: big Foot story and I was like, ready the strangler,
[26:00] Speaker 4: I'm like, yo, got off, didn't think I'm crazy, and
[26:04] Speaker 4: then looked at me and could see like my reluctance,
[26:08] Speaker 4: and she goes, oh, don't worry if you have a
[26:10] Speaker 4: big foot encounter.
[26:11] Speaker 3: I believe you because I've had a dog man encounter.
[26:14] Speaker 4: So come to find out, she starts telling me about
[26:17] Speaker 4: her dog man encounter. When you turn on Highway Oh,
[26:22] Speaker 4: and I told you Highway E goes like twenty seven miles,
[26:25] Speaker 4: you know, to the left, Highway OH is four four
[26:28] Speaker 4: and a half miles long. There's one road off of
[26:32] Speaker 4: that road that's like a quarter mile dirt voading.
[26:36] Speaker 3: It's called Bellevue Road.
[26:39] Speaker 4: So starting to tell me the story, and I go,
[26:41] Speaker 4: where was this and she said off of Bellview And
[26:46] Speaker 4: I said, oh, that's interesting because my big foot encounter was,
[26:49] Speaker 4: you know, a quarter mile away.
[26:50] Speaker 3: From Bellview Road.
[26:52] Speaker 4: When I got to that guy's quantit hut, the start
[26:55] Speaker 4: of it was like two and a half miles down.
[26:58] Speaker 4: So I go, will tell me about your dog man.
[27:00] Speaker 4: Now again, I'm kind of going just off memory, but
[27:04] Speaker 4: she said when they moved out to Bellevue, a neighbor
[27:09] Speaker 4: come up to her and said, hey, keep a close
[27:11] Speaker 4: eye on who was like a nine year old and
[27:14] Speaker 4: and was like well, what what's up with that? And
[27:16] Speaker 4: he went get into it. He said, just keep an
[27:19] Speaker 4: eye on him around the woods, you know. So she
[27:23] Speaker 4: moves in. They get settled in. A month or two later.
[27:27] Speaker 4: It was pretty early after they'd just gotten there, got
[27:31] Speaker 4: dropped off the school bus and he came flying in
[27:34] Speaker 4: the front door, slammed the door and started bawling, and
[27:38] Speaker 4: she said, what's wrong. And he told her that a
[27:40] Speaker 4: werewolf chased him after the school bus left up the driveway.
[27:46] Speaker 4: So she kind of attributed it, you know, to aversealous
[27:51] Speaker 4: imagination and just said, oh, well, I'm sorry, honey, you know, like, okay,
[27:56] Speaker 4: wear a wolf.
[27:57] Speaker 3: Whatever.
[27:57] Speaker 4: So weeks later she decided to put in a garden.
[28:01] Speaker 4: She rolled the till of the garden and she said
[28:03] Speaker 4: it was close to the woodline. She started rolled a
[28:07] Speaker 4: till in this area for the new garden she was
[28:09] Speaker 4: putting in, and she said she kept smelling like sewer smell.
[28:14] Speaker 4: So she's like out there for a week and sometimes
[28:17] Speaker 4: she smells it, you know, half the time she does.
[28:19] Speaker 3: Halftimes she doesn't.
[28:21] Speaker 4: But she started thinking, like, my neighbor septic must be
[28:24] Speaker 4: backed up. So whatever, she just went on with her life. Well,
[28:30] Speaker 4: within a day or two, she was doing dishes and
[28:33] Speaker 4: the sink, and the sink overlooks the backyard, and she
[28:37] Speaker 4: said she happened to raise her head and looked on
[28:40] Speaker 4: the woodline. She said there was a werewolf standing or
[28:43] Speaker 4: a dog man, and she said that when she looked up,
[28:48] Speaker 4: she could tell that it locked eyes with her. And
[28:51] Speaker 4: when that happened, when that eye connection was made, she said,
[28:55] Speaker 4: it sprung down to its knees and put its hands
[28:58] Speaker 4: on the knees and jumped so high up in the air.
[29:02] Speaker 3: She said it had to be.
[29:03] Speaker 4: Thirty feet high up in the air, back into the
[29:06] Speaker 4: woodline and was just gone. So at that point she
[29:10] Speaker 4: knew that story her nine year old was true. So
[29:14] Speaker 4: she's like, Okay, now I'm like super freaked out, and
[29:17] Speaker 4: she goes, I feel like a terrible parent because told
[29:20] Speaker 4: me about it, and I was just like, yeah, whatever,
[29:23] Speaker 4: and now this thing is really out here. So shortly
[29:27] Speaker 4: after that incident, they started having it on her roof
[29:30] Speaker 4: of her trailer. Then doorkno'm shaking, started tapping on the windows,
[29:37] Speaker 4: and she said she literally seen the claws tappen on
[29:40] Speaker 4: the window, which would be like tricky, terrifying if you
[29:45] Speaker 4: ask me, well, and the doorknob thing happened like every night.
[29:52] Speaker 4: So at this point in the story, her ex husband,
[29:56] Speaker 4: who is like a sixty year old zzy top beer,
[30:00] Speaker 4: you know, biker with a chain wallet and the greasy
[30:03] Speaker 4: blue jeans, comes walking up upon her telling me the story,
[30:07] Speaker 4: and he goes, yeah, he goes, I thought she was crazy,
[30:11] Speaker 4: like she's talking about there's a werewolf and but was
[30:14] Speaker 4: telling me she'sed by a werewolf. And I'm sitting there
[30:16] Speaker 4: thinking like, man, these people have lost their minds, Like
[30:19] Speaker 4: my kid's crazy.
[30:21] Speaker 3: But he's a biker.
[30:22] Speaker 4: He's a gun of fishing on us. So she said
[30:24] Speaker 4: we would just come out here and spend the weekend.
[30:27] Speaker 4: So he said he brought his twelve gauge and like
[30:29] Speaker 4: the three fifty seven. And now he's telling this story
[30:34] Speaker 4: and he goes, I'll be we're not sitting there, and
[30:37] Speaker 4: he goes, something starts jiggling the doorknob, and he goes,
[30:39] Speaker 4: I'm looking right at the doorknob.
[30:41] Speaker 3: And you know, kind of telling me like he thinks
[30:44] Speaker 3: it's a prank.
[30:45] Speaker 4: Or you know whatever, and he goes, but then I
[30:48] Speaker 4: heard it jump up on the roof and started running
[30:50] Speaker 4: across the roof. He runs out the back patio, you know,
[30:54] Speaker 4: with a twelve gauge whatever with probably a flashlight take
[30:57] Speaker 4: to it or something, and he's seen it just leap
[31:01] Speaker 4: off the.
[31:02] Speaker 3: Backside of the building.
[31:03] Speaker 4: So they got out of there within months of that.
[31:08] Speaker 4: But during this time, getting back to that road, Highway
[31:13] Speaker 4: Eve goes twenty seven miles to the left, Highway Old
[31:15] Speaker 4: four four and a half miles.
[31:16] Speaker 3: To the right.
[31:18] Speaker 4: A guy named lived five miles up Highway E from
[31:22] Speaker 4: where I turned to go on Highway Oh found out
[31:27] Speaker 4: about having a dog man issue, and he had been
[31:31] Speaker 4: having a dog man looking there cabin window that him
[31:35] Speaker 4: and his dad you know shared, still sitting there listening
[31:39] Speaker 4: to it, but reaffirmed, you know, that there was something
[31:43] Speaker 4: out there. So I'm like pretty intrigued at this point.
[31:46] Speaker 4: He called her and he said, Hey, this thing's been
[31:48] Speaker 4: looking in my window like every night now, and he said,
[31:52] Speaker 4: I'm going to go kill the thing. And next morning
[31:56] Speaker 4: they found car keys and wallet. Now keep in mind
[31:59] Speaker 4: is seven miles out of town now on the countertop
[32:03] Speaker 4: and was never seen again. It's been I think thirteen
[32:07] Speaker 4: years now. The guns are missing everything. He just disappeared.
[32:14] Speaker 4: They've had one of my buddy.
[32:16] Speaker 3: Z owns an insurance company here, and.
[32:19] Speaker 4: He's taken out sent dogs, cadaver dogs all over that
[32:24] Speaker 4: property and they went, you know, searching for the body.
[32:29] Speaker 4: Like every three years they go out there with dogs
[32:31] Speaker 4: and do you know, massive searches. And so that's the
[32:36] Speaker 4: second part of it. Now, three years ago, a man
[32:41] Speaker 4: named just got his third drunk drive and ticket. This
[32:47] Speaker 4: guy's probably four hundred pounds, drove a scooter, lived two
[32:54] Speaker 4: and a half miles from where my encounter occurred, like
[32:59] Speaker 4: nine miles away from where it disappeared thirteen years ago,
[33:02] Speaker 4: and like five miles away from where was having her
[33:05] Speaker 4: dog man issue. He gets the third drunk driving, gets
[33:11] Speaker 4: out of jail, gets a ride home. This guy like
[33:15] Speaker 4: can barely wat He lives like seven miles out of town,
[33:21] Speaker 4: fifty yards back on the little gravel driveway with a
[33:24] Speaker 4: house with a barn, and to get his mail and
[33:27] Speaker 4: end of the driveway he parks is picked up right
[33:30] Speaker 4: next to the steps of the house and he'll get
[33:32] Speaker 4: in that truck, drive the you know, thirty yards or
[33:35] Speaker 4: whatever it is to the mailbox, grab the mail, back
[33:38] Speaker 4: the truck back up. That's how you know, infirm he
[33:41] Speaker 4: is so he went back home, and then the mailman
[33:47] Speaker 4: started noticing the mail was piling up, so he looked
[33:50] Speaker 4: into it and.
[33:51] Speaker 3: Called the cops, and the cops went out.
[33:52] Speaker 4: There no sign, no credit card activity he was on
[33:59] Speaker 4: like food Share. There's no food Share activity on his card.
[34:04] Speaker 3: Just disappeared without a trace. Oh wow, And who knows.
[34:09] Speaker 4: I mean, that's that's speculative as to me, trying to
[34:13] Speaker 4: pin that onto a cryptid. But when you think about it, Jeremiah,
[34:17] Speaker 4: like all these these four incidents happened within less than
[34:21] Speaker 4: ten miles of each other. And then the last instance
[34:25] Speaker 4: I'm going to talk about is in the seventies, a
[34:28] Speaker 4: kid that I went to school with, his name was.
[34:32] Speaker 4: They had a farm out there too, probably another five
[34:35] Speaker 4: miles distant, and his brother went missing like forty years ago,
[34:40] Speaker 4: and they said he was just in the house and
[34:43] Speaker 4: next thing we know, we couldn't find him anywhere, and
[34:46] Speaker 4: they were like trying to pin that on thinking he
[34:50] Speaker 4: did something to his brother. And that kid no one
[34:53] Speaker 4: seen him for like forty or forty five years. So
[34:58] Speaker 4: that's just another five miles away from there. So the
[35:01] Speaker 4: chance that like three people would come up missing in
[35:05] Speaker 4: that small proximity with no clues whatsoever other than hearsay
[35:11] Speaker 4: of like dog man talk, is beyond coincidence in my eyes.
[35:15] Speaker 1: You know what scary thing is going to be, Pete,
[35:18] Speaker 1: is that there's going to be people with more too. Yeah,
[35:22] Speaker 1: always happens. There's gonna be more from this town. I
[35:24] Speaker 1: guarantee it. Oh my goodness, this is this is really weird.
[35:29] Speaker 4: Hmmm, like really like Jeremiah, I called the deputy sheriff
[35:35] Speaker 4: like a year a year and a half ago in
[35:37] Speaker 4: Lincoln County here and he was like the homicide guy,
[35:40] Speaker 4: And I go, man, are you ready for like a
[35:43] Speaker 4: stupid story? And he's like, well, I don't know you
[35:46] Speaker 4: know what's pretaining to So I go just here, I
[35:48] Speaker 4: need you just to hear me out. And I probably
[35:51] Speaker 4: told the story twice as fast as I did you,
[35:54] Speaker 4: you know, just to get to a brief synopsis of
[35:56] Speaker 4: it or whatever engages a canyon. And when I got done,
[36:00] Speaker 4: you literally said you're crazy.
[36:04] Speaker 2: Wow.
[36:04] Speaker 4: And I'm like, well, dude, like there isn't like really
[36:07] Speaker 4: any homicides up here, so I'm pretty sure you're not
[36:11] Speaker 4: that swamp.
[36:12] Speaker 3: Like why don't you open your mind? You just kind
[36:14] Speaker 3: of look into it.
[36:16] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:17] Speaker 1: Oh man, wow, uh you said there were so you
[36:23] Speaker 1: there's definitely a few missing people, and man, I wonder
[36:27] Speaker 1: how crazy it gets. I wonder if there's people that
[36:29] Speaker 1: have encountered portals like out in the woods and they're
[36:31] Speaker 1: just like they walk through something that feels electric, you know,
[36:35] Speaker 1: things like that, or I don't know, m yeah, we'll see.
[36:40] Speaker 2: Yeah, but.
[36:43] Speaker 4: There's certainly you know, of course I follow you know,
[36:46] Speaker 4: Pilate's you know, Missing for one one and other channels
[36:51] Speaker 4: and stuff like Bigfoot Society and Sasquatch Chronicles.
[36:57] Speaker 3: That's you Obviously.
[37:00] Speaker 4: I'm pretty selective with what I choose, but like that
[37:03] Speaker 4: portal whole thing, Like as bizarre as that sounds, it
[37:08] Speaker 4: sounds more you know, palatable all the time because there's
[37:14] Speaker 4: obviously something getting people. You know, maybe nine out of
[37:19] Speaker 4: a ten of them will be found fifteen twenty years
[37:21] Speaker 4: from now, but man, there's still people missing from one
[37:23] Speaker 4: hundred years ago.
[37:25] Speaker 5: Wow.
[37:27] Speaker 4: You know that nobody's ever stumbled upon or you know,
[37:31] Speaker 4: came across out in the woods or you know, like
[37:33] Speaker 4: about buckling some old leather shoes or something, and so yeah,
[37:39] Speaker 4: I don't know if it's a portal or if it's
[37:43] Speaker 4: bigfoot dog man and they just chew every bone down.
[37:47] Speaker 4: You know nothing or what it is, but like where
[37:52] Speaker 4: do these people's clothes go? Then?
[37:54] Speaker 1: Mm hmm man, Yeah, Lincoln County, Wisconsin. Some weird stuff
[37:58] Speaker 1: going on is Rhyan Lander and Lincoln County two.
[38:02] Speaker 3: No, that's ow Night, but it's twenty miles away.
[38:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's not that far away.
[38:07] Speaker 3: No, it's really wow.
[38:09] Speaker 1: Oh man, Pete, I'm so glad that you you reached
[38:12] Speaker 1: out to me because this one was I didn't even
[38:14] Speaker 1: reach out to you. You just randomly, you know, filled
[38:17] Speaker 1: out the the form. And I'm glad you did because this, uh,
[38:21] Speaker 1: this could really lead to some interesting things. But I'm
[38:24] Speaker 1: glad that you got the opportunity to share what happened
[38:28] Speaker 1: to you way back then with your sighting.
[38:30] Speaker 4: Though, well, I appreciate telling it to where I know
[38:35] Speaker 4: ninety nine out of one hundred people ain't gonna say
[38:37] Speaker 4: I'm a maniac, So yes, sir.
[38:40] Speaker 1: And and if anything else, uh, you ever run into
[38:44] Speaker 1: anything else or hear anything else strange up there, definitely
[38:47] Speaker 1: feel free to reach out and and let me know what's.
[38:51] Speaker 3: Going on, well there's an update or anything like that.
[38:54] Speaker 3: I certainly won't.
[38:56] Speaker 4: And you know, one of the last thing I kind
[38:58] Speaker 4: of wanted to say is of the thousands of times
[39:02] Speaker 4: that I pondered, you know, this sighting and you know,
[39:06] Speaker 4: like how it could live up here, and you know,
[39:09] Speaker 4: like the bear skin and the sparse hair. I mean,
[39:11] Speaker 4: it had a lot of hair, but you know, like
[39:14] Speaker 4: a lot of guys like have back hair that's like
[39:17] Speaker 4: out of control.
[39:18] Speaker 3: It was kind of more like that.
[39:20] Speaker 4: So I don't know if they put on more hair
[39:23] Speaker 4: for the winter months or you know, or what. And
[39:26] Speaker 4: there certainly is an abundance of you know, berries everywhere
[39:31] Speaker 4: there's raspberries and you know, blackberries and everything, like anywhere
[39:37] Speaker 4: in the woods you want.
[39:38] Speaker 3: Here there's berries.
[39:40] Speaker 4: And certainly loads of deer and you know, small game.
[39:44] Speaker 4: But I don't know, to me, like it just seems
[39:48] Speaker 4: weird that a creature granted a bear a deer. I mean, yeah,
[39:53] Speaker 4: we know about them, but that a creature would literally
[39:56] Speaker 4: choose to live up in this environment because the winters
[39:58] Speaker 4: get pretty brewed off here, you know, and what they
[40:04] Speaker 4: I mean, like the amount of here I seen on
[40:07] Speaker 4: this thing, Like it just seems impossible. It could it
[40:09] Speaker 4: could have stayed warm, you know, in the winter time
[40:13] Speaker 4: because it's just like human skin, you.
[40:16] Speaker 3: Know, just grayer. Oh yeah, yeah, so I guess that's
[40:22] Speaker 3: the last thing.
[40:22] Speaker 1: Man, all right, Pete, Well, well we'll see where this leads.
[40:26] Speaker 1: This is a very interesting one and listener's got some
[40:29] Speaker 1: pretty crazy dog man stuff out of it too. So
[40:33] Speaker 1: there you go, guys. But I appreciate you calling in, Pete.
[40:38] Speaker 4: Yeah, Jeremiah, I appreciate it, luting me, and thanks everyone
[40:40] Speaker 4: for hearing me.
[40:42] Speaker 1: Have a good one you too. All right, big flet's societ.
[40:48] Speaker 1: You've got the privilege of talking to Rick tonight. Rick
[40:51] Speaker 1: is a listener from Warren County, Ohio, and he's got
[40:55] Speaker 1: some interesting things that happened to him earlier. And it's
[41:00] Speaker 1: a pleasure to talk to you.
[41:01] Speaker 2: Rick.
[41:02] Speaker 1: How's it going.
[41:04] Speaker 2: It's great, great weather here in Ohio.
[41:07] Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely same here in Iowa, which is I mean
[41:12] Speaker 1: last week was a little bit too hot during the
[41:15] Speaker 1: state Fair, but right now pretty good. Rick's a pleasure
[41:19] Speaker 1: to have you on the podcast. I know we've been
[41:22] Speaker 1: meaning to talk for a little bit of time, so
[41:26] Speaker 1: I'm going to go ahead and pass things right over
[41:29] Speaker 1: to you. And yeah, feel free to share what you
[41:32] Speaker 1: have experienced.
[41:36] Speaker 5: Okay, Well, like a lot of people did listen to
[41:43] Speaker 5: you your fans. I really got interested in bigfoots in
[41:51] Speaker 5: UFOs back in the early seventies with the In Search
[41:55] Speaker 5: of program and the Patterson Gambling film, and so, you know,
[42:03] Speaker 5: I I, like I guess a lot of people back then,
[42:07] Speaker 5: I had to go to the library.
[42:09] Speaker 2: And so I read books as many as I could.
[42:12] Speaker 2: And you know, I was probably twelve thirteen years old.
[42:16] Speaker 5: At that time, and I was really into it at
[42:20] Speaker 5: that age. But you know, getting into high school and
[42:24] Speaker 5: in college and professional life, I you know, really I
[42:29] Speaker 5: paid attention to it, but I had other priorities.
[42:34] Speaker 2: And never lost interest in it. But with YouTube and
[42:41] Speaker 2: the proliferally proliferation of.
[42:46] Speaker 5: Videos and podcasts and things like that, it rekindled that
[42:51] Speaker 5: interest and I've you know, I listened to this stuff
[42:56] Speaker 5: on a daily basis.
[43:02] Speaker 2: I live in an area.
[43:04] Speaker 5: That was exclusively farmland up to fifty sixty years ago.
[43:14] Speaker 5: It's in the I can say, the I seventy five
[43:17] Speaker 5: corridor between Cincinnati and Dayton, but as time has passed,
[43:24] Speaker 5: it's it's been built up mostly with residential housing, and
[43:29] Speaker 5: you know, there's kind of.
[43:31] Speaker 2: A ten mile you know, housing belt around.
[43:38] Speaker 5: Ice seventy five, just just because of the transportation, and
[43:44] Speaker 5: a lot of people here either work in Cincinnati or Dayton,
[43:48] Speaker 5: so they traveled back and forth. I live on the
[43:55] Speaker 5: last part of my grandfather's farm.
[44:02] Speaker 2: It's been in the family for about one hundred and
[44:03] Speaker 2: forty years.
[44:06] Speaker 6: And this area, like other areas around here, is being
[44:13] Speaker 6: built up with residential housing, but.
[44:20] Speaker 5: There still remains a lot of woodlots, a lot of
[44:23] Speaker 5: farm fields, a lot of water sources, plentiful deer on
[44:31] Speaker 5: this particular property. I've seen all kinds of animals and birds,
[44:38] Speaker 5: plenty of deer, plenty of coyotes, fox.
[44:44] Speaker 7: But I never really thought, you know, anything what happened
[44:49] Speaker 7: to me could happen in this area.
[44:52] Speaker 2: So I'll tell you what happened. It was. I'm in
[44:57] Speaker 2: the security business now.
[44:58] Speaker 3: I spent.
[45:01] Speaker 5: Sixteen years near me, fourteen of that in special operations,
[45:06] Speaker 5: and then after that I was a police officer for
[45:09] Speaker 5: twenty two years, seventeen of that in swat operations, and
[45:13] Speaker 5: I was predominantly a sniper. So I'm now in my sixties.
[45:21] Speaker 5: I'm insecurity work. So April thirteenth, get off at eleven thirty,
[45:28] Speaker 5: always making it home right before midnight. So I think
[45:32] Speaker 5: it was a I think it was actually about eleven
[45:35] Speaker 5: fifty eight at night.
[45:37] Speaker 2: Driving the driveway.
[45:40] Speaker 5: Got into my car like I usually do, and my
[45:43] Speaker 5: habit is that I just go to the rear of
[45:45] Speaker 5: my car and I just stand and I listen to
[45:48] Speaker 5: what's going on in the woods.
[45:50] Speaker 2: And you know here if I can.
[45:54] Speaker 5: There is if there's any animal activity.
[45:58] Speaker 2: Well, I was standing there facing east.
[46:02] Speaker 5: And I looked up in the sky and I see
[46:07] Speaker 5: something that appears round and as an orange reddish hue.
[46:12] Speaker 2: To it, and I immediately think it must be Mars.
[46:18] Speaker 5: But it surprises This surprises me because it appears larger
[46:23] Speaker 5: than I would expect Mars to appear. And so I
[46:28] Speaker 5: don't see any movement. I don't see any change in
[46:32] Speaker 5: the light intensity. I stand there at three four minutes,
[46:39] Speaker 5: probably watching this thing, and at the same time, back
[46:43] Speaker 5: in the woods, I hear this not these knocking sounds
[46:48] Speaker 5: with an owl sound right after another. There's like four
[46:54] Speaker 5: or five knocks and then an alcohol and this is
[46:58] Speaker 5: repeated I'm gonna say five to six times. So after
[47:05] Speaker 5: I'm thinking a bit more about what I'm looking at
[47:08] Speaker 5: instead of what I'm hearing. But I thought at the time,
[47:16] Speaker 5: I thought, I don't know if any owls or any
[47:19] Speaker 5: animals that knock not around here. So, after watching this
[47:25] Speaker 5: object and nothing is changing, something to go inside. But
[47:30] Speaker 5: I know there's an important detail, and that is I
[47:35] Speaker 5: don't see any stars. I look around the sky and
[47:40] Speaker 5: my view is partially hidden due to mature trees. But
[47:43] Speaker 5: I don't see any stars in the sky. And I
[47:47] Speaker 5: I'm inside now and I'm talking to my piance and
[47:55] Speaker 5: I'm telling her what I'm seeing and hearing, and she said,
[48:00] Speaker 5: you need to go outside of the binoculars and look
[48:02] Speaker 5: at that thing again. I said, yeah, you're right, I do.
[48:06] Speaker 5: So I grab my binoculars, go out. It's gone nowhere
[48:11] Speaker 5: to be seen and still no stars. So how was
[48:16] Speaker 5: I seeing Mars? But there's no stars? So I come
[48:21] Speaker 5: back inside. I look on the internet and I say, okay,
[48:24] Speaker 5: where's the position of Mars based upon my location? I
[48:28] Speaker 5: look it up. Tells me a direction. The direction is
[48:32] Speaker 5: different than what where I saw this object. I saw
[48:37] Speaker 5: this object due east and using a horizontal finger technique
[48:42] Speaker 5: I learned in the Army, it was about forty degrees
[48:45] Speaker 5: above the horizon. You know, it's a nonstretched arm with
[48:48] Speaker 5: fingers horizontal. Each finger is about ten degrees, so it's
[48:53] Speaker 5: about forty degrees. Not perfect, but it's it's good for
[48:56] Speaker 5: general idea.
[49:01] Speaker 2: So I come back.
[49:02] Speaker 5: Inside and I had taken a picture of it and
[49:07] Speaker 5: a video.
[49:08] Speaker 2: Of this object.
[49:14] Speaker 5: So I enlarge the photo twice, and much of my surprise,
[49:23] Speaker 5: it reveals an object that is generally rectangular in shape,
[49:30] Speaker 5: and it has angles and stream lines in it, and
[49:35] Speaker 5: it has its.
[49:35] Speaker 2: Kind of coronal white filaments coming around it.
[49:40] Speaker 5: But I think that it is more due to the
[49:43] Speaker 5: enlargement process and the type of.
[49:46] Speaker 2: Camera I was using. It was just a cell phone camera, so.
[49:49] Speaker 5: I can't actually say that that white the white filaments
[49:52] Speaker 5: were part of the the object. So, you know, come
[50:03] Speaker 5: back inside, start talking about it again with my fiance, and.
[50:09] Speaker 2: She's very curious.
[50:10] Speaker 5: She's very interested in this subject too. So I decided
[50:18] Speaker 5: the next day I'm going to report it to move on.
[50:23] Speaker 5: So I do write a written report, send it. I
[50:27] Speaker 5: don't hear anything from them, Okay, that's fine with me.
[50:31] Speaker 2: I don't care.
[50:32] Speaker 5: But I get to think more about the sounds. The sounds.
[50:40] Speaker 5: I've just never heard anything like that in the woods
[50:43] Speaker 5: in Ohio, and I've spent a fair amount of time
[50:45] Speaker 5: in the woods, did some hunting, did a lot of camping.
[50:52] Speaker 5: Can't call myself an expert on Ohio fauna or flora,
[50:56] Speaker 5: but I'm pretty familiar. So I look up if there
[51:05] Speaker 5: are any UFO reports in my county or possibly Clinton County,
[51:12] Speaker 5: which was the direction I was looking.
[51:16] Speaker 2: Nothing. I'm thinking, I can't be the only person that
[51:20] Speaker 2: saw this.
[51:22] Speaker 5: There are no reports that I see, so okay.
[51:27] Speaker 2: It was about a week later that I'm watching a video.
[51:35] Speaker 5: It's a it's a video taken from an Navy FA
[51:39] Speaker 5: teen super hornet flying off the USS Theatore Roosevelt back
[51:44] Speaker 5: in two thousand and four. This was taken i think,
[51:47] Speaker 5: off to our southeastern coast, somewhere like South Carolina or Florida.
[51:52] Speaker 2: And I'm watching this and.
[51:57] Speaker 5: It's from the camera taken by the pilot and I
[52:02] Speaker 5: see something that looks really familiar. But I'm like, whoa,
[52:07] Speaker 5: let's let's let's wind that back a little bit. So
[52:09] Speaker 5: I wind it back, started up again, and I freeze
[52:12] Speaker 5: it and I'm like, oh my gosh, that looks almost
[52:17] Speaker 5: exactly what I saw, Like I really saw a ufl
[52:23] Speaker 5: uh never in my wildest imagination. And I think I
[52:28] Speaker 5: would get out of my car, look east and see
[52:30] Speaker 5: a ufo, but it happened.
[52:33] Speaker 2: So as time goes by, I really started thinking about
[52:38] Speaker 2: the sounds, and so I look up on the owls
[52:45] Speaker 2: that live in.
[52:46] Speaker 5: Ahile, because I hear great horned owls all the time,
[52:50] Speaker 5: especially in the fall early winter. So the other ones
[52:54] Speaker 5: I can remember screech, how barn ol, barn owl, horned owl.
[53:01] Speaker 5: I think there is sawweet owl, but I know. I
[53:05] Speaker 5: got on hotmail, or not hotmail, but YouTube and listened
[53:11] Speaker 5: to the various owl calls, and what it most closely
[53:17] Speaker 5: resembled to me was the barred owl. Now, as time
[53:22] Speaker 5: has gone by and I've heard witness accounts of their encounters,
[53:30] Speaker 5: I've heard bard owl calls or mimicking mentioned a couple
[53:36] Speaker 5: of times, and I thought that was that's kind of
[53:40] Speaker 5: that's pretty interesting to me at the time listening to
[53:44] Speaker 5: the actual the YouTube audio of a barred owl, it
[53:51] Speaker 5: was very close. But to me and my memory, it didn't.
[53:54] Speaker 5: It wasn't exact. I could be wrong.
[54:02] Speaker 2: What also struck me about this these repetitive sounds, the
[54:10] Speaker 2: wood knocking. It did not sound like a.
[54:16] Speaker 5: Branch being struck against a tree or anything like that
[54:21] Speaker 5: based upon the tone, the consistency of the sound, it
[54:27] Speaker 5: sounded more like two machined pieces of wood that were finished.
[54:34] Speaker 5: And immediately thought, okay, it could it be like two
[54:37] Speaker 5: baseball bats or being struck together, something like that, or clavas.
[54:41] Speaker 5: Are you familiar with the clob it's a percussion instrument. Yes,
[54:48] Speaker 5: And it sounded it had that kind of ringing, that
[54:51] Speaker 5: resonance to it that a branch.
[54:55] Speaker 2: Would not have or a tree wouldn't have.
[55:02] Speaker 5: So that got me more curious, and nobody thought, I'm
[55:08] Speaker 5: looking for alternative explanations.
[55:12] Speaker 2: You know, somebody some percussionists out there hitting very large
[55:16] Speaker 2: closets or baseball pats together.
[55:18] Speaker 8: And I thought, nah, very very unlikely, and it would
[55:25] Speaker 8: take a percussionist because there there was a precision in this,
[55:33] Speaker 8: the repetitiveness from repetition to repetition of the sounds it was.
[55:42] Speaker 2: There was a preciseness of it. There was.
[55:45] Speaker 5: The volume stayed the same, the tone stayed the same,
[55:51] Speaker 5: the space between the sounds stayed the same.
[55:55] Speaker 2: Now I wish I had a spectrum analyzed or not.
[55:58] Speaker 2: You know, I could have recorded that look at it,
[56:00] Speaker 2: you know, that way, But it didn't have one In
[56:03] Speaker 2: my back pocket.
[56:07] Speaker 5: So I heard these these grouped sounds probably five to
[56:14] Speaker 5: six times, and there was no distinct difference in the
[56:19] Speaker 5: space between the knox and the bard. I'll call and
[56:23] Speaker 5: that's what I'll call it, because I have nothing else
[56:25] Speaker 5: to call it.
[56:27] Speaker 2: That's what it resembled.
[56:35] Speaker 5: So the more I've listened to people talk, the more
[56:38] Speaker 5: I've rolled this around in my brain, and it made
[56:43] Speaker 5: me do a lot of thinking.
[56:47] Speaker 2: Excuse me. So then I looked.
[56:52] Speaker 5: On the BFR website, and you know, for a sightings map,
[56:57] Speaker 5: looked at the sightings in Ohio and they the listings
[57:01] Speaker 5: of sidings in the counties I'm much to my surprise,
[57:05] Speaker 5: there are I.
[57:06] Speaker 2: Think five sidings since twenty fourteen in my county.
[57:11] Speaker 5: And these were they not necessarily seeing a bigfoot, but
[57:17] Speaker 5: hearing rocks clacking together, wood knocks, and I know of
[57:24] Speaker 5: I can remember at least one visual. It is a
[57:30] Speaker 5: little further south than where I live, about ten to
[57:33] Speaker 5: fifteen miles in those areas, it's a significant forest for
[57:42] Speaker 5: them to hide. So I made a report to bfrrow
[57:55] Speaker 5: didn't hear from them.
[57:59] Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
[58:02] Speaker 5: But so the more I've gone through this process of
[58:07] Speaker 5: analyzing this, I have become more and more convinced that
[58:13] Speaker 5: that was a big foot that was making those sounds. Now,
[58:18] Speaker 5: another line of investigation that I went on was.
[58:25] Speaker 2: I have heard from people that on on on the
[58:28] Speaker 2: podcast that many.
[58:30] Speaker 5: Times UFOs are the signings are related to or in conjunction.
[58:35] Speaker 2: With big foot sidings. So I looked up.
[58:40] Speaker 5: How many what's were kind of percentage, and the number
[58:42] Speaker 5: I saw was thirty percent, which was really surprising to me.
[58:46] Speaker 5: That's a huge number, and even if it was five percent,
[58:53] Speaker 5: that number is significant.
[58:57] Speaker 2: So I thought, what's the connection here? Inter dimensional being?
[59:06] Speaker 2: You know, my mind is just opened up to a
[59:09] Speaker 2: variety of things.
[59:11] Speaker 5: Although I'm there's there's a rational mind and then there's
[59:16] Speaker 5: the emotional mind, and I'm trying to separate those two things,
[59:20] Speaker 5: and you know, trying to operate on evidence and not
[59:28] Speaker 5: might not let my emotions get too involved with this.
[59:33] Speaker 5: So then I began researching what other are there other
[59:40] Speaker 5: cryptids sightings in this area and not really And I
[59:47] Speaker 5: found something back in eighteen ninety or eighteen eighty two
[59:54] Speaker 5: that was published in the Western Star. It's a newspaper
[59:58] Speaker 5: back then of a some kind of lizzard monster that
[1:00:02] Speaker 5: was sighted by boys it's a little ville. It's just
[1:00:07] Speaker 5: north of Waynesville. The men of the area chased this
[1:00:12] Speaker 5: thing into a tree and it popped out of the tree.
[1:00:14] Speaker 5: At the top it was hollow as a sycamore tree,
[1:00:16] Speaker 5: and it scampered away with the local men chasing it.
[1:00:19] Speaker 2: Went down a hole and it's never seen again. It
[1:00:21] Speaker 2: was the only site. But thinking back my life around here,
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: my family's been around here a long time. Something that
[1:00:35] Speaker 2: I had heard when I.
[1:00:36] Speaker 5: Was a It's just after my senior year in high school.
[1:00:46] Speaker 5: I was working at a Denny's as a dishwasher and
[1:00:51] Speaker 5: people were a couple of people were talking about some
[1:00:54] Speaker 5: monster that supposedly was living over by Caesar's Creek State Park,
[1:01:02] Speaker 5: and that got me interested.
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: So one night, it.
[1:01:07] Speaker 5: Was probably July of nineteen seventy eight, took my girlfriend.
[1:01:12] Speaker 2: She picked me up in her little Mercury Capri and
[1:01:16] Speaker 2: we went over there. And I really didn't know the roads.
[1:01:19] Speaker 2: We were driving around in the dark, not.
[1:01:22] Speaker 5: Knowing where we're going, Okay, and so she makes it turn,
[1:01:31] Speaker 5: she gets stuck, sheet panics.
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: She's starting to cry. Well, you know, we had to
[1:01:38] Speaker 2: go home. Any want an upset her. But I thought
[1:01:42] Speaker 2: maybe thinking back on that that.
[1:01:44] Speaker 5: Was possibly a potential bigfoot sighting people had seen back
[1:01:50] Speaker 5: in seventy eight, and that may be a stretch, I
[1:01:52] Speaker 5: don't know, but then in a way supported the Yemah
[1:02:01] Speaker 5: hypothesis that bigfoot is in this area along with the
[1:02:05] Speaker 5: other sidings, which made my experience.
[1:02:10] Speaker 2: Easier to believe in my view that it was a
[1:02:13] Speaker 2: potentially bigfoot.
[1:02:19] Speaker 5: I've been out the last three nights sitting outside after work,
[1:02:25] Speaker 5: you know, it's after midnight.
[1:02:27] Speaker 2: One on one o'clock, and just listening and they're such a.
[1:02:31] Speaker 5: This cicadas and the crickets are so loud, I can
[1:02:33] Speaker 5: hardly hear anything else. I heard some alcohol a couple
[1:02:39] Speaker 5: of nights ago, but there's nothing at this time. So,
[1:02:44] Speaker 5: you know, that's that's what I got for you. Did
[1:02:52] Speaker 5: you did you find those photos?
[1:02:53] Speaker 1: I did, and so I'm looking at the The outline
[1:02:58] Speaker 1: of both of them is so similar. It's it's incredible
[1:03:02] Speaker 1: how similar it is. It's yeah, definitely like it's got
[1:03:07] Speaker 1: to be the same object. There's no doubt.
[1:03:11] Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe maybe not the same object, but the same.
[1:03:15] Speaker 1: Kind of object exactly exactly.
[1:03:17] Speaker 5: Now we we have Red Petterson Air Force Base. It's
[1:03:21] Speaker 5: it's probably eighteen miles north of US, and if they're
[1:03:25] Speaker 5: man made, you know, that's that's a potential place.
[1:03:28] Speaker 2: Where it could have flown to or from. Uh. I
[1:03:34] Speaker 2: don't know how long have it been there sitting. I
[1:03:37] Speaker 2: don't know why I chose that spot, you know, thinking
[1:03:40] Speaker 2: about the range.
[1:03:44] Speaker 5: It was, I'm pretty good ranging on land because it
[1:03:47] Speaker 5: was a sniper, but in the air and not knowing
[1:03:51] Speaker 5: the size of the object it was, it's really impossible, but.
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: It it. My wild guess would be it was it
[1:04:00] Speaker 2: was five to eight kilometers away or three to five miles.
[1:04:07] Speaker 3: And.
[1:04:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of crazy.
[1:04:11] Speaker 5: Nothing for sixty four years of my life and then
[1:04:14] Speaker 5: all of a sudden, boom.
[1:04:18] Speaker 1: The the vocalizations. That to me is just as weird
[1:04:25] Speaker 1: as you've seen something in this guy. Because you're saying
[1:04:28] Speaker 1: there's a pattern to the wood hits, then what sounds
[1:04:32] Speaker 1: like an owl and that pattern of wood hits, and
[1:04:36] Speaker 1: then the owl noise repeated five to six times. You said, yes,
[1:04:42] Speaker 1: that's weird.
[1:04:43] Speaker 2: Have you heard anything like that before? Well, I mean.
[1:04:51] Speaker 5: There's usually, as you guess, allude to anything like that before.
[1:04:57] Speaker 1: Not like not exactly the same. But I am curious
[1:05:02] Speaker 1: if the owl noise that you heard. Was was there
[1:05:06] Speaker 1: anything weird about it, like sounded really really big, or
[1:05:10] Speaker 1: like almost like something was trying to do an owl
[1:05:14] Speaker 1: noise but didn't know what it was doing and it
[1:05:16] Speaker 1: just fell off when you were listening to it.
[1:05:20] Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't louder than the other sounds.
[1:05:23] Speaker 5: I mean, I'm going to guess at the range, and
[1:05:27] Speaker 5: I was trying to kind of range how far the
[1:05:31] Speaker 5: sounds are coming from.
[1:05:32] Speaker 2: It was off. It was over my left shoulder, and
[1:05:35] Speaker 2: there's a lake that there were over.
[1:05:38] Speaker 5: My shoulder about twenty five yards and it's kind of
[1:05:43] Speaker 5: hilly surrounding this lake, so sounds kind of bounce off
[1:05:49] Speaker 5: the hills and it I'm not sure exactly how far
[1:05:55] Speaker 5: away it was, but I'm going to guess between one
[1:05:57] Speaker 5: hundred and one hundred and fifty yards, and it sounded
[1:06:03] Speaker 5: like it was on the north side of the lake.
[1:06:11] Speaker 2: And something I want to make clear it was the volume.
[1:06:17] Speaker 5: Of each sound was the same essentially that includes the
[1:06:23] Speaker 5: owl call. Either there was no appreciable difference that it
[1:06:29] Speaker 5: was louder or softer. There was no space difference between
[1:06:36] Speaker 5: each sound. So it led me to believe that it
[1:06:42] Speaker 5: was two.
[1:06:43] Speaker 2: People very much in sync.
[1:06:46] Speaker 5: Who would rehearse this or one person very unlikely percussionists
[1:06:53] Speaker 5: who can do an alcohol.
[1:06:55] Speaker 2: Or a big foot.
[1:07:00] Speaker 5: And in hearing about people are are saying, now that
[1:07:05] Speaker 5: I've heard that big feet are making this sound, they're
[1:07:07] Speaker 5: imitating owls, and the tree knocks are actually not they're
[1:07:12] Speaker 5: not actually hitting wood, but they're making it with their
[1:07:15] Speaker 5: mouth and things exactly. Yeah, and that makes that makes
[1:07:21] Speaker 5: sense to me in this case, looking at this situation,
[1:07:28] Speaker 5: that makes a lot more sense than any other alternative explanation.
[1:07:39] Speaker 1: Was it? Was there anything involved where sometimes people will say, like, well,
[1:07:47] Speaker 1: imagine you hear a normal owl and then it's like
[1:07:53] Speaker 1: a really bad impression of an owl sound. Did it
[1:07:59] Speaker 1: it actually sound like a pretty good owl.
[1:08:01] Speaker 2: Though, Yeah, yeah it did.
[1:08:04] Speaker 5: It just didn't sound like the barred owl recording exactly.
[1:08:10] Speaker 2: It sounded very much like it, but not exactly. Now
[1:08:14] Speaker 2: that comes down to, you know, there my memory. Did
[1:08:18] Speaker 2: I remember it exactly?
[1:08:21] Speaker 5: I think I looked up those recordings the next day,
[1:08:26] Speaker 5: but they at the time they were they were, you know,
[1:08:29] Speaker 5: just they stuck in my mind, So I know for
[1:08:33] Speaker 5: certain it was most closely resembling.
[1:08:37] Speaker 2: Now call or a bard ow.
[1:08:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, logically, it doesn't make sense that, you know, you
[1:08:44] Speaker 1: have that repeating five to six times, and it just
[1:08:48] Speaker 1: I can't logically explain that away. I mean, I would
[1:08:53] Speaker 1: be going to the weirder option as well if I
[1:08:58] Speaker 1: was involved with that. That's just that's just very strange.
[1:09:04] Speaker 5: Yeah, we don't have we don't have people in those woods.
[1:09:08] Speaker 5: This woodlot that we own, in the proportion next to us,
[1:09:12] Speaker 5: their neighbors own. There's not people back there.
[1:09:15] Speaker 2: You know. That doesn't mean that somebody wasn't back there
[1:09:18] Speaker 2: that night, but.
[1:09:22] Speaker 6: This is a really an odd place to do that
[1:09:26] Speaker 6: to try to get attention.
[1:09:27] Speaker 2: There are a lot better places. I go over to Caesar's.
[1:09:30] Speaker 5: Creek State Park and do it out here the campgrounds,
[1:09:35] Speaker 5: but wanted to get attention not here.
[1:09:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, that whole area that I know, I've I've heard,
[1:09:44] Speaker 1: I've heard other big there's other Bigfoot stuff that happened
[1:09:47] Speaker 1: in that area. And I know there's UFO stuff. I'm
[1:09:50] Speaker 1: just not a UFO guy, but I know people all
[1:09:52] Speaker 1: the time in that community. You are talking about the
[1:09:55] Speaker 1: area around Wright, Patterson and Dayton, and you know the
[1:10:00] Speaker 1: other areas that we've been talking about, And I mean,
[1:10:03] Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised that you've got weird stuff going on.
[1:10:07] Speaker 1: Do you ever hear any other sounds that just don't
[1:10:12] Speaker 1: really you know, they're out of place or anything. Well,
[1:10:16] Speaker 1: el's weird.
[1:10:18] Speaker 2: Up until April thirteenth, I really hadn't been paying attention consistently. Yeah,
[1:10:26] Speaker 2: I you know, like my habit was, I'd get out
[1:10:31] Speaker 2: of the car and give it back to the car,
[1:10:32] Speaker 2: and I'd stand there for a minute or two and
[1:10:34] Speaker 2: just listen. I didn't hear anything, so I'd just walk
[1:10:38] Speaker 2: in the house. But since then, I've been paying a
[1:10:43] Speaker 2: lot more attention.
[1:10:45] Speaker 5: Actually, I started to do some banging some rocks together
[1:10:50] Speaker 5: three months ago. Oh really, Yeah, just to see if
[1:10:54] Speaker 5: I could get any kind of response.
[1:10:57] Speaker 2: Nothing.
[1:10:58] Speaker 5: And you know it's so loud back there with the
[1:11:00] Speaker 5: cicadas and the crickets. Well, well it's hard for me
[1:11:05] Speaker 5: to hear anything. I'm probably sure that big Foot half
[1:11:08] Speaker 5: far time here and get over all.
[1:11:10] Speaker 2: The insect activity. Maybe not, but I think.
[1:11:16] Speaker 5: Once week fall coms first frost.
[1:11:21] Speaker 2: Something like that maybe.
[1:11:23] Speaker 5: And I've also thought about getting some ploba is baseball
[1:11:27] Speaker 5: bats and just banging them together. Yeah, I mean response
[1:11:31] Speaker 5: that way. I think that's what I'll do after this
[1:11:36] Speaker 5: at least insects die dom.
[1:11:39] Speaker 1: It's it's really interesting and it doesn't come up a
[1:11:42] Speaker 1: lot on this show. But the whole connection between UFOs
[1:11:48] Speaker 1: and big fight especially, I'm sure you've looked into like
[1:11:52] Speaker 1: the Chestnut Ridge area of southwest Pennsylvania. Have you ever
[1:11:56] Speaker 1: looked into that?
[1:11:58] Speaker 2: I have not.
[1:12:00] Speaker 1: That'll really blow your mind. So look into. There's a
[1:12:06] Speaker 1: gentleman out there who is collected a lot of reports
[1:12:10] Speaker 1: to do with UFO and UFOs and bigfoots over the years,
[1:12:15] Speaker 1: Stan Gordon. It's got some really interesting books. But there's
[1:12:19] Speaker 1: a ton of things that happen in the southwest part
[1:12:23] Speaker 1: of Pennsylvania in an area called Chestnut Ridge, and just
[1:12:27] Speaker 1: a lot of really weird things, like there'd be a
[1:12:29] Speaker 1: UFO sighting and then a heavy Bigfoot presence a day
[1:12:32] Speaker 1: or so later, and I want to say even there
[1:12:37] Speaker 1: were sightings where they were both seen at the same time.
[1:12:41] Speaker 1: I think that's the thing. I'm sure people in the
[1:12:44] Speaker 1: comments will will let me know if that's right or not.
[1:12:48] Speaker 1: But that's an interest. If you wanted to kind of
[1:12:52] Speaker 1: look into the connection between UFOs and Bigfoot, look up
[1:12:56] Speaker 1: the Chestnut Ridge, Pennsylvania stuff, for sure.
[1:12:58] Speaker 2: Okay, I certainly will.
[1:13:00] Speaker 1: The thing about this is everything is connected, and there's
[1:13:06] Speaker 1: going to be there's going to be individuals that come
[1:13:11] Speaker 1: out of the woodwork, and they probably are going to
[1:13:13] Speaker 1: say that they've been experiencing the same thing in the
[1:13:16] Speaker 1: same area. And that's really when the fun starts.
[1:13:22] Speaker 2: That will be interesting, That will be interesting most Uh.
[1:13:27] Speaker 2: You know.
[1:13:27] Speaker 5: My plan is, I'm just going to I mean hearing
[1:13:31] Speaker 5: some sounds over by the lake at night, uh, you know, splashing, knocking,
[1:13:40] Speaker 5: it was. It was so muffled that I really couldn't
[1:13:45] Speaker 5: discern what it was. But I'm going to go down
[1:13:49] Speaker 5: there in the woods and at night, I'm going to
[1:13:52] Speaker 5: find a spot where I can go sit down and
[1:13:54] Speaker 5: possibly I'll get a visual line on that area and
[1:13:58] Speaker 5: see if I can spot anything then and.
[1:14:00] Speaker 2: I can hear better.
[1:14:02] Speaker 5: But yeah, it'll be interesting to see if other people
[1:14:05] Speaker 5: start speaking out putting the maybe we'll get some people
[1:14:10] Speaker 5: who show the UFO on April thirteenth, like I did.
[1:14:15] Speaker 2: It probably would have been in the area.
[1:14:16] Speaker 6: Of Waynesville, in a little village of.
[1:14:21] Speaker 1: Litel Okay, cool. Well, Rick, This has been a fun
[1:14:27] Speaker 1: one because it's not one that I usually go into.
[1:14:31] Speaker 1: But It's a good way for me to get some
[1:14:34] Speaker 1: more info in an area that I'm not overly familiar with.
[1:14:39] Speaker 1: But thank you for sharing about that would weird me
[1:14:43] Speaker 1: out too, And I hope people that are listening will
[1:14:46] Speaker 1: reach out to let us know that if they've been
[1:14:50] Speaker 1: experiencing similar things in the you said Waynesville, Ohio Warren
[1:14:55] Speaker 1: County area. Yeah, okay, cool, Well, it's been a pleasure
[1:15:02] Speaker 1: talking to you.
[1:15:04] Speaker 2: Well, my pleasure, Jeremy. I love you show keep up
[1:15:07] Speaker 2: the good work.
[1:15:08] Speaker 1: Thanks for hearing me, absolutely, and if anything else weird happens,
[1:15:12] Speaker 1: please reach out and let me know. I'd be interested.
[1:15:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, you'd be the first one to know.

[1:15:22] Speaker 1: around Oakridge, Oregon? And you think to yourself, Man, I
