[0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Bigflat Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In
[0:03] Speaker 1: this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring
[0:05] Speaker 1: you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen
[0:08] Speaker 1: something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to
[0:12] Speaker 1: quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: So stay with us, all right, Big Fest Society. You've
[0:32] Speaker 1: got the privilege of talking to Jason Kenzie. Jason Kenzie
[0:35] Speaker 1: is a filmmaker. You may have seen some of his work.
[0:39] Speaker 1: I'm going to have him talk about that in just
[0:41] Speaker 1: a minute. But I was privileged to be able to
[0:43] Speaker 1: meet him at the Oakridge, Oregon Sasquatch Summerfest Festival just recently.
[0:50] Speaker 1: Earlier this year. It was a privilege chatting with him
[0:53] Speaker 1: and being able to be involved with some interesting research
[0:57] Speaker 1: which you will all hear about in different ways. Jason,
[1:01] Speaker 1: how's it going today?
[1:03] Speaker 2: Very good? Thanks for asking.
[1:04] Speaker 1: Imara, absolutely do you mind sharing with the audience a
[1:08] Speaker 1: little bit about what it is that you do and
[1:11] Speaker 1: how you got into all this wild bigfoot stuff.
[1:14] Speaker 2: Okay, I've always been a photographer and for a journalist.
[1:18] Speaker 2: I actually started as a event and wedding for the
[1:23] Speaker 2: journalist and photographer. And then one day someone walked up
[1:27] Speaker 2: to me at an event and said, Hey, will you
[1:30] Speaker 2: take pictures of my dog? And I was like, okay,
[1:34] Speaker 2: I could take pictures of the dog, and you want
[1:36] Speaker 2: to be in the picture, and the owner said no.
[1:39] Speaker 2: I said okay, and I met up with them and
[1:42] Speaker 2: I took these beautiful pictures of his dog, and he
[1:45] Speaker 2: told me some stories about his dog that really touched me.
[1:48] Speaker 2: That made me think, I wonder if other people have
[1:53] Speaker 2: similar stories about their pets. So I started doing photography
[1:58] Speaker 2: with people's pets, asked them questions about interesting things about
[2:02] Speaker 2: their pets, like their dogs and cats. So one day
[2:06] Speaker 2: someone came to me and said, Hey, I have a
[2:09] Speaker 2: pet Cayman, which is similar to a crocodile or an alligator.
[2:13] Speaker 2: I was about three to four feet long and it
[2:16] Speaker 2: lived in a makeshift aquarium bath tub in his basement.
[2:23] Speaker 2: So after telling everyone that this guy has a cayman
[2:26] Speaker 2: as a pet and wants me to photograph it. No
[2:29] Speaker 2: one believed me, so I went out and purchased a
[2:32] Speaker 2: video camera and I went to the photo shoot and
[2:36] Speaker 2: I filmed behind the scenes of this incredible photo shoot.
[2:40] Speaker 2: Couldn't believe how close I can get to this little
[2:42] Speaker 2: cayman and it was so exciting, and I earned the
[2:46] Speaker 2: trust from the owner. He asked me not to put
[2:49] Speaker 2: his name out there or pictures of him, and don't
[2:52] Speaker 2: let people know where his plase was for his cayman,
[2:57] Speaker 2: and he trusted me after that. So his friend also
[3:01] Speaker 2: had exotic animals as pets, so then I started getting
[3:05] Speaker 2: requested to photograph their animals. So I start flying all
[3:10] Speaker 2: over North America photographing people with tigers and grizzly bears
[3:16] Speaker 2: and greens and kangaroos and everything in between. Wolves and
[3:22] Speaker 2: bobcats and hostages. Yeah, it was just so much fun,
[3:26] Speaker 2: and I would film the behind the scenes and I
[3:29] Speaker 2: made a web series called My Animal Adventures, which you
[3:33] Speaker 2: can find on YouTube actually called Jason Tenzee's Animal Adventures,
[3:39] Speaker 2: and there's over four hundred behind the scenes of My
[3:42] Speaker 2: animal photoshoots. It's for a lot of fun. And then
[3:46] Speaker 2: In twenty ninth, the world shut down and I wasn't
[3:50] Speaker 2: able to do my animal adventures anymore, and I was
[3:54] Speaker 2: driving myself nuts. I didn't know what I could do,
[3:56] Speaker 2: and I was pacing back and forth. And one day
[3:58] Speaker 2: my buddy Paul's joked to me and said, heck, maybe
[4:01] Speaker 2: he should do something on sasquatch, maybe he's an animal,
[4:05] Speaker 2: and I was like, h We laughed about it at first,
[4:09] Speaker 2: and I thought, yeah, might be on to something, Maybe
[4:12] Speaker 2: sasquatch is an animal of some kind. I went and
[4:15] Speaker 2: interviewed a person who had an encounter class a encounter
[4:20] Speaker 2: with a bigfoot walked up to him and I found
[4:24] Speaker 2: it fascinating, and so he sent me to someone else
[4:28] Speaker 2: who had a class A sighting where they were fishing
[4:31] Speaker 2: and the sasquatch stood over him and pointed as a
[4:36] Speaker 2: show him something. And when he looked over and looked back,
[4:41] Speaker 2: the creature had walked back into the forest. So then
[4:45] Speaker 2: I started filming and interviewing, and I thought, I'm going
[4:50] Speaker 2: to do a documentary. So then I got introduced to
[4:53] Speaker 2: the First Nation's people and they pointed me to an
[4:58] Speaker 2: area in the forest, deep in the forest where they
[5:00] Speaker 2: think that the bigfoots live. And so when I went
[5:04] Speaker 2: into the forest and went deep into the forest, I
[5:08] Speaker 2: found a mountain lake. And in this mountain lake there
[5:12] Speaker 2: were hundreds of these giant footprints that went right through it,
[5:17] Speaker 2: and I filmed it. I had a drone and I
[5:19] Speaker 2: would drone it from the top and you could clearly
[5:21] Speaker 2: see all the footprints. And I went and took the
[5:25] Speaker 2: footage to the First Nations people and they told me
[5:28] Speaker 2: that I found the migration path of the Bigfoot, of
[5:33] Speaker 2: the Sasquatch people that migrated from Alaska all the way
[5:37] Speaker 2: to California. I put it all together into a documentary,
[5:41] Speaker 2: my very first one, and I put it out there
[5:44] Speaker 2: on YouTube and it just blew up. And then after
[5:48] Speaker 2: that I started getting film awards. So I won probably
[5:53] Speaker 2: about thirteen International Film Awards for number one and number two,
[5:58] Speaker 2: number three, number four, I think number five. That's some
[6:02] Speaker 2: awards too. And what was happening was Bigfoot investigators. They
[6:08] Speaker 2: had these groups and they would contact me and they
[6:12] Speaker 2: would fly me in with my gear and they want
[6:16] Speaker 2: me to film us looking for evidence. And we would
[6:20] Speaker 2: go deep into the forest, sometimes either by helicopter, by boat,
[6:26] Speaker 2: by like ATV, like any which way to get deep
[6:32] Speaker 2: into the forest. And the one reason I love going
[6:34] Speaker 2: deep into the forest it's if something happens, if we
[6:40] Speaker 2: hear something, or we find something, or we see something,
[6:44] Speaker 2: we know it can't be human because we're so off
[6:48] Speaker 2: the grid and off the beaten path. But the chances
[6:52] Speaker 2: of someone just happened to be walking by would be
[6:55] Speaker 2: next to flim to next. And Yeah, it's been incredible.
[7:00] Speaker 2: I've been to over twenty different states, over thirty different
[7:06] Speaker 2: locations throughout North America, and I've seen some crazy stuff
[7:11] Speaker 2: in the forest. I had been roared at, streamed at,
[7:15] Speaker 2: howled at, rocks thrown at me. I've found some of
[7:19] Speaker 2: the strangest three structures, these giant axes. I've had an
[7:24] Speaker 2: incident of a spider call where this creature just went
[7:29] Speaker 2: right across the trail in front of me. It was
[7:32] Speaker 2: in the forest just like that. It was so quick,
[7:36] Speaker 2: and I remember the eye shine, the eyes that stared
[7:39] Speaker 2: at me the whole time. It was as if it
[7:41] Speaker 2: was on a gimbal or a stabilization. There was no bobbing,
[7:47] Speaker 2: it was straight and into the forest it went. Yeah,
[7:52] Speaker 2: it's just been a really amazing ride and I hope
[7:56] Speaker 2: to continue. I'm up to fifteen documentary right now.
[8:02] Speaker 1: You have a very intense backlog of documentaries and talking
[8:05] Speaker 1: to your team because it's not just you that goes
[8:07] Speaker 1: out on these you have a whole team with you.
[8:09] Speaker 3: As well, full of they're just great people.
[8:13] Speaker 1: And you have a few that you're currently working on
[8:17] Speaker 1: getting ready for release. And that doesn't even include the
[8:20] Speaker 1: Oakridge footage that was just shot, which is incredible. You
[8:25] Speaker 1: are constantly working on this, for sure.
[8:29] Speaker 2: Yes, I have five more documentaries. There's two paranormal documentaries
[8:34] Speaker 2: that I'm working on too, but yeah, there's so now
[8:38] Speaker 2: I have about six searching for Fastquatch documentaries I'm working on,
[8:43] Speaker 2: and soon there's going to be another two. I'm flying
[8:47] Speaker 2: out to Michigan and into the Ozarks to go after
[8:51] Speaker 2: the Ozark Howler, which is possibly another big foot creature.
[8:57] Speaker 1: That will be extremely interesting. There's a lot of different
[9:00] Speaker 1: viewpoints for the Ozark Howler. What's the most remote you
[9:04] Speaker 1: think that you've gone on these documentary expeditions.
[9:09] Speaker 2: So, I don't know if anyone knows British Columbia, but
[9:13] Speaker 2: we have some of the most dense forests anywhere in
[9:16] Speaker 2: the world. We have places where humans haven't placed their feet.
[9:22] Speaker 2: And one time I took a helicopter and I got
[9:25] Speaker 2: dropped off way off by Pitt Lake, just on the
[9:29] Speaker 2: back side of the mountains, and I was one hundreds
[9:32] Speaker 2: of miles in every direction of any civilization. And I
[9:37] Speaker 2: spent a couple nights in the wilderness, and I found
[9:43] Speaker 2: trees that were pulled out of the ground and turned
[9:45] Speaker 2: upside down. They walked over, walked the trees somewhere and
[9:49] Speaker 2: just ram them back into the ground. I found about
[9:53] Speaker 2: four or five of them. I've found footprints. I've seen
[9:57] Speaker 2: the eyeshine. That's probly the most remote, but I've done
[10:00] Speaker 2: I being yeah, Okridge when we're out there by the meadow.
[10:07] Speaker 2: That's pretty remote out there. And we actually turned onto
[10:11] Speaker 2: a couple other roads off the main road. We turned
[10:15] Speaker 2: off and went even deeper into the forest. But I
[10:21] Speaker 2: really love going off the bean path, for sure. I
[10:24] Speaker 2: don't really like to stick on the path.
[10:28] Speaker 3: Oh absolutely.
[10:29] Speaker 1: I'll share a little story about how wild you guys get,
[10:33] Speaker 1: and then if you want me to take it out,
[10:34] Speaker 1: that's fine. But I remember the night we took you
[10:37] Speaker 1: guys up as a film crew. One of the nights
[10:40] Speaker 1: and I was hanging out with Steve, and you guys
[10:44] Speaker 1: said something to the effect of we'll see you later.
[10:47] Speaker 1: We're headed out, okay, And then you guys just went
[10:53] Speaker 1: for it. We were driving for service roads for what
[10:56] Speaker 1: felt like forty five minutes trying to track you guys down,
[10:59] Speaker 1: and you guys were up on top of the mountain,
[11:02] Speaker 1: and I think it's just it was, It's amazing that
[11:06] Speaker 1: we we saw all of a sudden, your flashlight come
[11:10] Speaker 1: off the top of a mountain. You were running down
[11:12] Speaker 1: the side of the mountain in the dark around twelve
[11:15] Speaker 1: o'clock and I was like, these guys are wild. This
[11:18] Speaker 1: is the craziest thing I've ever seen. They are in
[11:21] Speaker 1: this one. I'm just glad we found you.
[11:26] Speaker 2: Oh I could not you know what. I now that
[11:29] Speaker 2: you said that. Back then, I was like, Wow, what
[11:32] Speaker 2: are the odds that we come down the mountain after
[11:36] Speaker 2: about forty five minutes to an hour of being out
[11:38] Speaker 2: there and we just have to come across you. I
[11:42] Speaker 2: was like, show, we were very remote and to the
[11:45] Speaker 2: point where we actually found we found those weird sticks,
[11:49] Speaker 2: the knots of the trees that were pulled out of
[11:53] Speaker 2: the trees and laid in a row, and then again.
[11:58] Speaker 2: I was filming it so glad that I had my
[12:01] Speaker 2: video attiment with me at all times because some of
[12:03] Speaker 2: the stop people wouln't believe. But there was the knots
[12:06] Speaker 2: of a tree. Imagine pulling one of those out of
[12:09] Speaker 2: a tree, like just the knot, so it goes right
[12:13] Speaker 2: down to a point. And we found them lying on
[12:17] Speaker 2: a stump in a row, about five of them. So
[12:21] Speaker 2: we didn't know Chad or Gwndol, and they thought maybe
[12:24] Speaker 2: it was left for us as a gift, so we
[12:27] Speaker 2: took them, but in turn I left them. We left
[12:32] Speaker 2: them gifts, so I can't remember what Grendam left, but
[12:37] Speaker 2: I left them a Canadian dime. It's a Canadian ten
[12:42] Speaker 2: cent coin, which I hope I didn't insult them because
[12:46] Speaker 2: it's pretty much worth nothing.
[12:49] Speaker 3: That is hilarious.
[12:50] Speaker 2: A big booker come by and go what it's worth nothing.
[12:55] Speaker 2: I'm going to kill that guy next to my ears.
[12:57] Speaker 1: That could be that could push it over the edge,
[12:59] Speaker 1: for sure. That's really interesting. I think Chad may have
[13:03] Speaker 1: showed me a picture of that, and it was the weirdest,
[13:05] Speaker 1: one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. That whole
[13:08] Speaker 1: area is weird, but has there been a time when
[13:12] Speaker 1: and let's you can think of all your expeditions, which
[13:14] Speaker 1: are a lot, has there been a time where just
[13:17] Speaker 1: things have really escalated a lot and you've been like, man,
[13:21] Speaker 1: if I could get out of here, I probably would
[13:24] Speaker 1: get out of here right now.
[13:25] Speaker 3: It's just it's very intense right now.
[13:27] Speaker 2: I went to Texas. I think it's the river that
[13:30] Speaker 2: separates Louisiana and Texas, and we were right on the
[13:35] Speaker 2: border of that. And it's one thing I don't usually
[13:40] Speaker 2: tell people. And the reason why I don't tell people
[13:44] Speaker 2: is because I don't know. I feel that people might
[13:49] Speaker 2: think they negative of it. But here goes and when
[13:54] Speaker 2: you see the documentary, it's number five searching for Sasquatch,
[13:58] Speaker 2: Number five call, you know, the Texas Screams. So I
[14:04] Speaker 2: went into this area to go and interview a guy
[14:08] Speaker 2: who said that he shot and potentially killed the Bigfoot.
[14:14] Speaker 2: So I was excited to meet this guy and I
[14:16] Speaker 2: wanted to interview him, and I wanted to hear his story,
[14:20] Speaker 2: even though some people said, why do you want to
[14:22] Speaker 2: like put that kind of negativity into your docks. So
[14:26] Speaker 2: it's kind of important to get all the facts from
[14:28] Speaker 2: all sides. We waited for him from the middle of
[14:33] Speaker 2: the night. He shows up, he pulls up. He were
[14:38] Speaker 2: sleeping and he pulls up in his truck, and the
[14:42] Speaker 2: truck the I say, either he had cut off the
[14:47] Speaker 2: exhaust or he added a piece to his exhaust, because
[14:52] Speaker 2: it was loud. The exhaust was so loud. It was
[14:56] Speaker 2: like like I couldn't even I couldn't even explain exactly
[15:00] Speaker 2: how loud it was. It was. He could hear him
[15:02] Speaker 2: coming from miles He had all the windows down and
[15:07] Speaker 2: he was blasting this music, which was like death music,
[15:11] Speaker 2: you know, kill kill, Kill, kill, kilter. He had it
[15:15] Speaker 2: blasting so loud that then again you could still hear
[15:20] Speaker 2: him coming for a mile away.
[15:21] Speaker 4: He was. He pulled up.
[15:23] Speaker 2: And he steps out of the vehicle, his vehicle, and
[15:26] Speaker 2: he's talking on his headset and the music is just blaring.
[15:31] Speaker 2: And then he it wasn't even music, it was just noise.
[15:35] Speaker 2: He turned it off and he went in. He I
[15:38] Speaker 2: think he had a chainsaw and he was cutting down logs.
[15:42] Speaker 2: The entire force around us erupted in screams and howls
[15:49] Speaker 2: and roars all around us. It was nuts. It went
[15:54] Speaker 2: on for an hour, these howls and then there was
[15:57] Speaker 2: coyotes who were howling at the same time, and I
[16:01] Speaker 2: loved it. I loved that. I loved it that when
[16:05] Speaker 2: when coyotes are howling too at the same time as
[16:09] Speaker 2: these unexplained howls, because you can clearly tell the difference
[16:13] Speaker 2: between the coyote howls and the unexplained creatures or whatever,
[16:18] Speaker 2: they are howling, and then we're getting roars. And it
[16:23] Speaker 2: went on for so long, and I was wondering that
[16:27] Speaker 2: maybe it was because she maybe really did shoot and
[16:34] Speaker 2: kill this bigfoot creature, and that that creature the bigfoots
[16:40] Speaker 2: recognized him and were pissed off, and that's why they
[16:43] Speaker 2: were going off. They went off for so long that
[16:47] Speaker 2: it got to the point that we were all sitting
[16:49] Speaker 2: around talking and just talking about I don't know, cooking
[16:52] Speaker 2: a hot dog on the on the fire, and it's so,
[16:55] Speaker 2: how's the hot dog? We're going to be eating a
[16:58] Speaker 2: whole bunch of that or another howl. So anyway, so
[17:03] Speaker 2: about the hot dogs and the stuff around the fire.
[17:06] Speaker 2: But that's how it was. They were howling and screaming
[17:09] Speaker 2: so much around us for so long that we got
[17:11] Speaker 2: numb to it. We basically was like, oh, Okay, another howl,
[17:16] Speaker 2: But I didn't think for one second that I needed
[17:19] Speaker 2: to get out. There was times. There was a time
[17:22] Speaker 2: where something walked up to me in a hammock tent
[17:26] Speaker 2: and five feet are eight feet from me, it fronted
[17:30] Speaker 2: in my ear and I started shaking so badly that
[17:33] Speaker 2: I was like, if this is a bear or a
[17:36] Speaker 2: wall bore, and I'm going to be injured here. And
[17:40] Speaker 2: that's pretty much one of the only times where I've
[17:43] Speaker 2: really thought, Okay, I'm in great danger at this moment.
[17:48] Speaker 1: Wow, that is incredible. That area you're talking about in Texas,
[17:53] Speaker 1: it is so intense. I've gotten witness reports and interviewed
[17:57] Speaker 1: people from that area you're referring to that are just
[18:00] Speaker 1: absolutely insane. So I could definitely agree with you that, Yeah,
[18:05] Speaker 1: I'm sure that you. I don't think it's out of
[18:08] Speaker 1: the question that you would experience something like that in
[18:11] Speaker 1: that area is so full of bigfoot.
[18:14] Speaker 3: It's intense.
[18:15] Speaker 2: You should see that. You should see the documentary. It's
[18:17] Speaker 2: pretty whild We even got something that stood up in
[18:20] Speaker 2: the forest. We went to a graveyard. We went to
[18:24] Speaker 2: a graveyard in the middle of the forest. It wasn't
[18:26] Speaker 2: like there was like a major road that went to
[18:29] Speaker 2: this graveyard. We had to take ATVs to this graveyard
[18:32] Speaker 2: in the middle of the forest, and there was a
[18:36] Speaker 2: there was a gate off to the side that led
[18:39] Speaker 2: to a farmer's to a farm way down the way,
[18:44] Speaker 2: and we were there for forty five minutes and we're
[18:46] Speaker 2: howling and we're doing wood knocks, and I walked over
[18:50] Speaker 2: to the gate and there was a sign on it
[18:54] Speaker 2: saying do not cross. Violators will be shot. And then
[18:59] Speaker 2: I looked at everyone so that I walked around it.
[19:02] Speaker 2: And just so I walked around it, I heard walking
[19:04] Speaker 2: in the forest and I'm like, no, that's no kipmunk,
[19:07] Speaker 2: and that's there's something heavy walking. I turned to everyone said, okay,
[19:12] Speaker 2: there's something walking. Everyone scattered. They went beyond it, went
[19:16] Speaker 2: on the other side of the gate, and they stood up.
[19:20] Speaker 2: So I ran into the forest with my video camera
[19:23] Speaker 2: because I wanted to capture the audio the sound of
[19:26] Speaker 2: it walking. Well, everyone pulled out their flours and they
[19:31] Speaker 2: were looking and at one point you actually see something
[19:36] Speaker 2: on the ground and it was hot and it stood up.
[19:39] Speaker 2: It literally stood up, and someone took a picture of
[19:42] Speaker 2: it and it was like either it was a sasquatch
[19:46] Speaker 2: creature or because it looked like whatever it was didn't
[19:49] Speaker 2: have any clothes on. So either it was a farmer
[19:52] Speaker 2: naked walking on the forest, or it was a big
[19:55] Speaker 2: for it or something they didn't have clothes on. Because
[19:57] Speaker 2: when I went and stood right now next to the trees,
[20:01] Speaker 2: you could clearly see my clothes. Even on flur I like,
[20:05] Speaker 2: I look white hot, but you could clearly see I
[20:09] Speaker 2: was wearing clothes. But next to whether the creature it
[20:13] Speaker 2: was naked, well, we got that photograph and it's actually
[20:16] Speaker 2: pretty cool to see.
[20:18] Speaker 3: Man. The good thing.
[20:20] Speaker 1: The thing that I noticed about you is that the
[20:23] Speaker 1: Jason that you get in the documentaries is the actual
[20:26] Speaker 1: Jason in real life, which is really cool.
[20:29] Speaker 3: You are a one.
[20:31] Speaker 1: Hundred percent passionate individual, fun loving, like to have a
[20:36] Speaker 1: good time, but you are very intensely focused on going
[20:41] Speaker 1: after the sasquat subject and documenting what you can. Is
[20:46] Speaker 1: very cool to watch someone and everyone on your crew
[20:49] Speaker 1: shares the same passion as well, so it is very
[20:55] Speaker 1: cool to see. The Other thing I want to mention
[20:56] Speaker 1: real quick before I forget, is you have a really
[21:00] Speaker 1: cool graphic novel and I picked up one of those
[21:02] Speaker 1: for my son. He has just read it cover to
[21:05] Speaker 1: cover and I thought it was cool you signed it.
[21:07] Speaker 3: But the graphic novel.
[21:08] Speaker 1: If you guys are into like Marvel graphic novels and
[21:11] Speaker 1: stuff like that, you should definitely check out Jason's graphic novel.
[21:14] Speaker 3: It is very cool.
[21:15] Speaker 2: Thank you. Yeah, I do try, like I am trying
[21:19] Speaker 2: to find the evidence of these preachers. There there's something
[21:24] Speaker 2: out there. When I first started five years ago, going
[21:27] Speaker 2: on six years now, I was a twenty percent believer
[21:32] Speaker 2: in Bigfoot, And after almost six years of searching and
[21:37] Speaker 2: the crazy stuff that I've seen in the dark forest,
[21:42] Speaker 2: I'm a fifty percent believer. And the reason why I'm
[21:45] Speaker 2: fifty percent and not one hundred percent is because I
[21:47] Speaker 2: haven't had a daytime sighting yet. I'm hoping to get
[21:50] Speaker 2: that soon. I just need that daytime sighting for myself
[21:56] Speaker 2: to truly believe that these creatures are one hundred percent,
[22:00] Speaker 2: because so far, I've seen the eye shine and I've
[22:04] Speaker 2: seen the shadow of them, like they moved so fast,
[22:09] Speaker 2: and for some reason they know how to stand just
[22:11] Speaker 2: outside of the infrared beam of light that comes from
[22:15] Speaker 2: your video camera.
[22:17] Speaker 1: We'll say this as a teaser to another Oakredge episode
[22:22] Speaker 1: that I'm putting together. But if you had been if
[22:26] Speaker 1: you had been in Oakridge a few days earlier, you
[22:28] Speaker 1: would have had that daytime sighting, correct, I probably.
[22:33] Speaker 2: Would have Yep, I probably would have so close, so close.
[22:38] Speaker 1: I know Chad at least had multiple daytime sightings and
[22:42] Speaker 1: I'll be talking to him about that. That was before
[22:44] Speaker 1: I got there as well, and in fact, I want
[22:46] Speaker 1: to say it was even the same day I got there.
[22:48] Speaker 3: They were out earlier in the day.
[22:50] Speaker 1: But that'll be discussed more in depth in another episode
[22:55] Speaker 1: about Oakridge. But have you ever been to the southeast
[22:58] Speaker 1: Oklahoma area yet?
[23:01] Speaker 2: I haven't not yet.
[23:03] Speaker 4: Hopefully I would love.
[23:05] Speaker 1: To see what you come up with if you can
[23:08] Speaker 1: ever make it down there. I think I used to
[23:11] Speaker 1: think that was the number one best area and it
[23:16] Speaker 1: probably is really high up there, But after being an
[23:19] Speaker 1: Oakridge I was, man, that area is pretty intense. Where
[23:24] Speaker 1: we were at as well. You mentioned a spider crawling
[23:28] Speaker 1: sasquatch incident. Can you share more about that? That sounds
[23:32] Speaker 1: like a very interesting.
[23:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. So I was in the Up, Michigan. We had
[23:39] Speaker 2: taken trucks and off road way deep into the Up.
[23:44] Speaker 2: It took us almost an hour just to get to
[23:47] Speaker 2: this to base Camp one, and that's where we parked
[23:51] Speaker 2: all the vehicles and we made a camp with all
[23:55] Speaker 2: the tents right there by the campfire, and we had
[23:58] Speaker 2: set up all the of the equipment. So I'm sitting
[24:03] Speaker 2: around a campfire and we had just we had just
[24:07] Speaker 2: been hanging out that day and it was nighttime. Now
[24:11] Speaker 2: it's probably about eleven PM and one of the Bigfoot
[24:15] Speaker 2: researchers comes into camp and says, hey, points to one
[24:20] Speaker 2: of the other guys and says, hey, let's go back
[24:22] Speaker 2: and get the audio recorder that we put out earlier
[24:26] Speaker 2: in the day. And the other big Foot researcher was like,
[24:29] Speaker 2: no way, I'm not going out there. No, it's I'm
[24:34] Speaker 2: just I'm scared. I don't want to go up there.
[24:37] Speaker 2: So the other researcher was like, I could see him go,
[24:40] Speaker 2: and then I stood up and said I'll go. So
[24:42] Speaker 2: I grabbed my video camera and off we went. And
[24:47] Speaker 2: we were probably about probably half an hour walk into
[24:51] Speaker 2: the forest, going deeper into the forest, and I was
[24:56] Speaker 2: photographing and filming all the tree breaks, so all the
[25:01] Speaker 2: branches that were broken and twisted a lot of these
[25:05] Speaker 2: researchers believed that these creatures they do these tree breaks,
[25:09] Speaker 2: but they twisted at the same time, which is really
[25:13] Speaker 2: hard to do. Even a small branch, trying to break
[25:18] Speaker 2: it and twist it, it's almost impossible. And I was fascinated.
[25:23] Speaker 2: So I'm filming, must have filmed about ten of them
[25:26] Speaker 2: so far, and we're walking and we come to this
[25:29] Speaker 2: area where all the trees had been pushed over across
[25:34] Speaker 2: the path, and there was probably about six trees in
[25:40] Speaker 2: a row. They were all pushed over, but the roots
[25:43] Speaker 2: weren't showing. And these were big trees. These were probably
[25:47] Speaker 2: about eight maybe eight to twelve inches in diameter, so
[25:52] Speaker 2: they were bigger than a dinner plate, these trees. But
[25:56] Speaker 2: they were pushed over almost like and bent over the
[26:02] Speaker 2: trail where we had the basic and all the trees
[26:05] Speaker 2: were straight before it and after it, like it was
[26:08] Speaker 2: pretty thick on either side except for the big patch,
[26:12] Speaker 2: as if something had come and laid them all down.
[26:15] Speaker 2: And we had to crawl through and over and under
[26:20] Speaker 2: these trees to get through. And then we carried on
[26:24] Speaker 2: and I'm still filming all these tree breaks, and we
[26:27] Speaker 2: get to the end and we know no one's been
[26:29] Speaker 2: down there for a very long time, at least a
[26:32] Speaker 2: couple of years, because the grass that we were walking
[26:35] Speaker 2: through at one point was probably about two feet two
[26:40] Speaker 2: feet tall, and it was very eerie. It was dark,
[26:44] Speaker 2: it was quiet. We get to the far end and
[26:46] Speaker 2: we gathered and we got the recorder and we start
[26:49] Speaker 2: heading back. As we're heading back, we took a wrong
[26:54] Speaker 2: turn and we went for maybe a thousand feet the
[26:58] Speaker 2: long way, and then we are seeing two tracks and
[27:02] Speaker 2: I don't think it was bear tracks. We saw tugar tracks.
[27:04] Speaker 2: I think we saw wolf tracks. And then we walked
[27:08] Speaker 2: back and we found the spot where we missed the turn,
[27:13] Speaker 2: and we started walking more. And as we were walking,
[27:18] Speaker 2: we see these this tree branch that's over top of
[27:21] Speaker 2: the trail, like it's just it's hanging and it's a
[27:25] Speaker 2: tree break, literally two of them over top of the trail,
[27:30] Speaker 2: hanging there. To the point where as we're walking up,
[27:34] Speaker 2: I turned to the research and I said, hey, I
[27:37] Speaker 2: remember not being there because I was filming all the
[27:40] Speaker 2: tree brakes because I was fascinated. And to the point
[27:44] Speaker 2: where when we walked up to it, I had to
[27:46] Speaker 2: turn my head and walk around it, like move around it,
[27:50] Speaker 2: like walk to the side because it was in the middle,
[27:52] Speaker 2: and you could see it was just broken because the
[27:56] Speaker 2: sap was still dripping, like it was still wet. And
[28:00] Speaker 2: all of a sudden, as we're looking at it, we
[28:02] Speaker 2: hear a cock from behind us, and we turned around
[28:06] Speaker 2: and Blake had taken his gun. He had a gun
[28:11] Speaker 2: with him, and he held his gun and we're looking
[28:14] Speaker 2: down at the far end of the trail and there
[28:18] Speaker 2: was nothing there, and then he put his gun back down,
[28:21] Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden, I saw some eye
[28:24] Speaker 2: shine right there, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I
[28:28] Speaker 2: think I see it, and I'm trying to get my
[28:30] Speaker 2: camera to focus on it, and you could clearly see
[28:33] Speaker 2: it was looking at us. It was tall, I would say,
[28:37] Speaker 2: probably at least eight feet nine feet tall, and then
[28:42] Speaker 2: all of a sudden, it closed its eyes, and after
[28:47] Speaker 2: about a minute it came back out like the eyes
[28:52] Speaker 2: shine came out really slowly, and there was again then
[28:56] Speaker 2: a smaller creature had walked out, and it opened its
[29:01] Speaker 2: eyes and looked at us, and it was much smaller,
[29:03] Speaker 2: with probably about seven seven feet with at least a
[29:08] Speaker 2: couple of feet smaller than the other one. And it's
[29:11] Speaker 2: just standing there looking at us, and it was just
[29:14] Speaker 2: out of the reach of my infrared light on my camera.
[29:20] Speaker 2: And as we're watching it, Blake cos you could hear cracking.
[29:27] Speaker 2: He's listened and hear cracking all around us, and he's
[29:30] Speaker 2: I think there's more of them and they're circling us,
[29:34] Speaker 2: and I'm standing there. I'm figuring out inside. But I
[29:37] Speaker 2: have a rule. I have two rules when I go
[29:40] Speaker 2: out into the force. If I go out with people,
[29:44] Speaker 2: number one rule is don't run. That's my rule. Do
[29:47] Speaker 2: not run if something happens, just stand your ground because
[29:52] Speaker 2: right in the middle of the forest, these creatures are
[29:54] Speaker 2: going to kill you. They're just going to kill you.
[29:56] Speaker 2: There's nothing you can do. So by running you can.
[30:00] Speaker 2: If it was a cougar or a bear, they would
[30:03] Speaker 2: chase after you because predator and prey right and also
[30:10] Speaker 2: the sas squats. People would probably start laughing, go scared
[30:12] Speaker 2: to cat? Who else? I just don't run. And the
[30:16] Speaker 2: second rule I have right to the first rule is
[30:19] Speaker 2: no hoaxing. That's basically my number one rule if I
[30:23] Speaker 2: go out with people, don't hoax. Don't go throwing something
[30:26] Speaker 2: into the forest and making it sound like there's something there.
[30:28] Speaker 2: I really want this to be real, and then number
[30:31] Speaker 2: two is don't run. So we're standing there, I'm looking
[30:35] Speaker 2: at it. We're looking at these two eyeshine there's whatever
[30:39] Speaker 2: they are, and then all of a sudden, they close
[30:41] Speaker 2: their eyes and I don't know whether they close their
[30:45] Speaker 2: eyes or they just turned their heads and they walked
[30:48] Speaker 2: into the forest. We walked up there really fast to
[30:51] Speaker 2: that area, like a minute after the eye shines disappeared,
[30:56] Speaker 2: and sure enough, beside where they were standing was a
[31:00] Speaker 2: big open spot in the trees. The trees on either
[31:03] Speaker 2: side of us were sick, except for that one spot
[31:07] Speaker 2: where it was been opening where something had just walked
[31:10] Speaker 2: right through. So we walked back to the spot with
[31:15] Speaker 2: we wanted to investigate a little bit more of the
[31:18] Speaker 2: tree brake. So as we're looking, I did this maneuver
[31:24] Speaker 2: where I pretended to walk one way and I turned
[31:30] Speaker 2: really fast, and they're standing in front of me. So
[31:34] Speaker 2: Blake was looking the other direction because he was still
[31:36] Speaker 2: looking down the way to see if you could see
[31:39] Speaker 2: any more of the eye shine, and I was standing
[31:42] Speaker 2: beside him, looking towards where he was looking. And then
[31:46] Speaker 2: I pretended to take a step forward, when really I
[31:50] Speaker 2: took a step forward and turned really fast, and there
[31:53] Speaker 2: something that was probably seven or eight feet tall dropped
[31:56] Speaker 2: to the ground in front of me, about twenty feet
[32:00] Speaker 2: five feet and it went right over the trail. It
[32:03] Speaker 2: looked like a giant spider, like massive with the eye
[32:06] Speaker 2: shine that just and I'm looking at it that the
[32:10] Speaker 2: thing is my camera. My video camera was facing my
[32:13] Speaker 2: facing me because I was talking on camera explaining what
[32:17] Speaker 2: was happening. So when I turned my eyes because of
[32:22] Speaker 2: the light of my screen, my eyes were still adjusting
[32:28] Speaker 2: back and forth. And I was looking at it as
[32:30] Speaker 2: it went across, and I think there was a second
[32:33] Speaker 2: one too that was behind and it stepped behind the tree,
[32:37] Speaker 2: but I was so focused on the one on the
[32:38] Speaker 2: ground that I'm looking at it going into the cougar
[32:43] Speaker 2: because I know cougar's they do hunch down when they're
[32:47] Speaker 2: about to attack, right, you know how cats will go
[32:49] Speaker 2: right down. So I'm looking at it, going, oh my god.
[32:52] Speaker 2: And when right across it was gone. So now I'm
[32:55] Speaker 2: thinking to myself, did I just what was that? Did
[32:58] Speaker 2: Was it just my imagination of the shadows of the
[33:02] Speaker 2: darkness playing tricks on me because I was really hyper
[33:06] Speaker 2: and very emotional and basically scared. That's what I was.
[33:11] Speaker 2: I was just terrified. And then what I didn't see
[33:15] Speaker 2: in real time I saw when I was editing the
[33:19] Speaker 2: footage two months later where I saw the eye shine
[33:25] Speaker 2: behind my head because I walked to the spot where
[33:28] Speaker 2: I saw whatever it was when I crossed the trail.
[33:32] Speaker 2: What I did, I was talking on camera talking about
[33:35] Speaker 2: and I could I saw the eye shine behind my head,
[33:39] Speaker 2: probably within five feet behind me. All I would have
[33:41] Speaker 2: done is just turned and looked. I probably would have
[33:44] Speaker 2: seen it at the moment. I didn't see it. But
[33:47] Speaker 2: when you if you watch the documentary, I think it's
[33:49] Speaker 2: in number that is on number three. Number two and
[33:54] Speaker 2: three is part one and two, but number three is
[33:58] Speaker 2: the very is the ending with the spider, and you
[34:01] Speaker 2: actually see the eyes shine behind my head. So yeah,
[34:04] Speaker 2: that is my whatever my spider cralling story is wild.
[34:09] Speaker 1: I have not had a visual of any kind yet.
[34:13] Speaker 1: It almost feels like I'm being built up slowly to it.
[34:17] Speaker 1: I think that if you were to go zero to
[34:20] Speaker 1: sixty with you know, seeing something like that, man, I'm
[34:26] Speaker 1: not quite sure what it would do to you. But
[34:28] Speaker 1: I experienced some roars and screams and Oakridge and who
[34:32] Speaker 1: knows what will happen next?
[34:34] Speaker 3: For sure?
[34:35] Speaker 1: Have you gone up to Uh, there's a property in
[34:38] Speaker 1: northern Minnesota with a gentleman named Randy. Were you involved
[34:42] Speaker 1: with going up there?
[34:45] Speaker 2: So I did a documentary on Randy's place. It's called
[34:48] Speaker 2: the Minnesota Roars.
[34:52] Speaker 4: How was that is?
[34:53] Speaker 2: Number?
[34:54] Speaker 3: How was that?
[34:57] Speaker 2: Yeah? It was quite interesting. We he would take us
[35:01] Speaker 2: to where all the tree structures that he's found on
[35:05] Speaker 2: his property, all these tree structures, and yeah, they were
[35:09] Speaker 2: very fascinating. But there was one point where we went
[35:12] Speaker 2: to a pole. But how all this bigfoot hair that
[35:16] Speaker 2: Randy says, that's what it was, and he said he's
[35:19] Speaker 2: seen these bigfoot creatures walking across that It was a
[35:23] Speaker 2: long a what do you call it, a those power
[35:26] Speaker 2: lines going up the mountain going into the forest. Yeah,
[35:31] Speaker 2: a clearcut. So it was a clear cut. His place
[35:34] Speaker 2: is directly next to a clear cut. And he said
[35:37] Speaker 2: he's seen a couple of times the sasquatch. And so
[35:41] Speaker 2: in front of me right now, I'm holding some of
[35:43] Speaker 2: that hair that I pulled off of the of the pole,
[35:49] Speaker 2: and there was quite a bit of it. Now, I'm
[35:51] Speaker 2: not saying it was bigfoot hair because I haven't got
[35:53] Speaker 2: it tested, but all we know it was there. It
[35:56] Speaker 2: is quite fascinating, but it was interesting. I had mixed
[36:00] Speaker 2: feelings with Randy's property. I wasn't sure if somebody was
[36:04] Speaker 2: going there and hoaxing him and building these tree structors
[36:10] Speaker 2: behind his back. But I do know that there has
[36:13] Speaker 2: been a couple three structures that he had no idea about.
[36:17] Speaker 2: The spider like I saw. I found a tree structure
[36:20] Speaker 2: that looked like a spider web. So it was at
[36:24] Speaker 2: nighttime and we stumbled on it, and it was huge.
[36:28] Speaker 2: It was big. All the trees were woven on it,
[36:31] Speaker 2: and it looked like a giant spider web. And he
[36:35] Speaker 2: didn't know about it, because when I got back to Canada,
[36:39] Speaker 2: he called me asking, hey, where did you find that
[36:43] Speaker 2: tree structure that looked like a spider web? And I
[36:45] Speaker 2: explained it to him, and so he went out looking
[36:48] Speaker 2: for it, and then he called me from the forest
[36:52] Speaker 2: again saying, hey, I can't find it. Exactly where did
[36:56] Speaker 2: you find it? And then I explained it to him.
[36:59] Speaker 2: And then the next message I got from him was
[37:01] Speaker 2: when he got there, the tree structor was knocked down.
[37:05] Speaker 2: It was on the ground. Yeah, it's interesting if you
[37:10] Speaker 2: ever get a chance to go up there and explore
[37:12] Speaker 2: his land.
[37:13] Speaker 4: You should.
[37:14] Speaker 1: I've interviewed Randy. I believe he even gave me an
[37:17] Speaker 1: invite to go up there. And the interesting thing is
[37:20] Speaker 1: I also had other people reach out after I interviewed him, saying, yes,
[37:26] Speaker 1: we know where this property is, we live near it
[37:28] Speaker 1: to and we have stuff happen on our property as well,
[37:32] Speaker 1: which I thought was very interesting. It didn't lead to
[37:34] Speaker 1: any interviews, but it's always interesting to hear multiple people
[37:38] Speaker 1: in the same area. Another thing that happened when we
[37:42] Speaker 1: were near the meadow, I remember Sherry had been walking
[37:47] Speaker 1: to our area and she had said that something had
[37:50] Speaker 1: actually called her name from the woods, which I wasn't
[37:53] Speaker 1: really sure how to deal with. That is very strange.
[37:56] Speaker 1: Have other things like that happened.
[38:00] Speaker 2: So I've caught whistles, I've caught like kids playing in
[38:10] Speaker 2: the forest. We're talking one o'clock in the morning and
[38:13] Speaker 2: deep in the forest, catching what sounded like children playing
[38:18] Speaker 2: only briefly. I've caught singing like melody, like a melody
[38:23] Speaker 2: of some kind of an enchanted singing. I haven't really
[38:28] Speaker 2: had anyone call my name. The only time I've ever
[38:31] Speaker 2: had things call my name is when I've been doing
[38:34] Speaker 2: a paranormal when I'm investigating haunted locations like churches or
[38:41] Speaker 2: houses or that's the only time I've ever caught things
[38:46] Speaker 2: calling my name. But out in the forest, I haven't
[38:49] Speaker 2: had that yet, but I have interviewed quite a few
[38:52] Speaker 2: people who have had their names called in the forest.
[38:57] Speaker 1: It's very weird stuff. Also, you just mentioned hearing singing,
[39:01] Speaker 1: which I think is a fascinating thing. I've heard that
[39:03] Speaker 1: reported in the Pacific Northwest in southeast Oklahoma. Can you
[39:08] Speaker 1: share the area that you had heard the singing out
[39:11] Speaker 1: in the woods.
[39:13] Speaker 2: So I was in Michigan in the very same area
[39:17] Speaker 2: where the creature was looking at me to the forest,
[39:21] Speaker 2: bouncing back and forth, bobbing his head back and forth,
[39:25] Speaker 2: within that same area. But I'll tell you one story
[39:28] Speaker 2: here in the Pacific Northwest, out by where I lived,
[39:32] Speaker 2: I interviewed the ladies who said that she grew up
[39:35] Speaker 2: back and I think it was like the nineteen fifties
[39:39] Speaker 2: where there was no The road that she lived on
[39:44] Speaker 2: wasn't paid, and there was no It was on a
[39:47] Speaker 2: First nation's land and she lived in a smaller cabin
[39:52] Speaker 2: on the edge of a Mountain by Harrison. It was
[39:55] Speaker 2: close to Harrison Lake. But back then there was no houses,
[39:59] Speaker 2: very houses, very little population. But every evening she would
[40:04] Speaker 2: hear but sounded like a crying baby coming out of
[40:08] Speaker 2: the forest. And she would sit there on her porch.
[40:12] Speaker 2: And she had three kids, three little babies that she
[40:14] Speaker 2: was looking after, and she would sit there on her
[40:20] Speaker 2: on her porch in her chair listening to this crying baby,
[40:24] Speaker 2: and the First Nations people would tell her that is
[40:27] Speaker 2: where the Sasquatch would give birth out there in the forest.
[40:34] Speaker 2: I asked her to take me to the area during
[40:36] Speaker 2: the day, and she did. She took me to the
[40:38] Speaker 2: area where she actually physically saw one run across a road.
[40:43] Speaker 2: I went and picked up one of my buddies and
[40:46] Speaker 2: we took a giant bluetooth speaker and we went to
[40:51] Speaker 2: the area where she said that these she would hear
[40:55] Speaker 2: these crying babies. And we hiked in for probably about
[41:00] Speaker 2: forty five minutes, and then in the middle of the night,
[41:03] Speaker 2: we sat down and I had downloaded a crying baby
[41:08] Speaker 2: sound and I put it in the bluetooth speaker and
[41:11] Speaker 2: I played it into the darkness of the forest, played
[41:16] Speaker 2: it for probably two minutes and I stopped it. And
[41:22] Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Jeremy, as I'm sitting here talking to
[41:25] Speaker 2: you right now, out of the darkness came a blood
[41:30] Speaker 2: curdling scream, as if the thing was trying to mimic
[41:36] Speaker 2: a crying baby that I'd just done. I was filming it,
[41:40] Speaker 2: and I caught that on film. The only disappointing thing
[41:43] Speaker 2: is I was standing up, and because my camera was
[41:48] Speaker 2: rested facing me, I didn't realize that the camera didn't
[41:52] Speaker 2: face maybe cut my head off and didn't actually capture
[41:57] Speaker 2: my astoundsment when I was like what and I sat down,
[42:02] Speaker 2: but Paul was sitting there and We're like what the
[42:06] Speaker 2: just And it was close. It was so close to us,
[42:09] Speaker 2: I would say, maybe two hundred yards in the forest.
[42:13] Speaker 2: So I decided to go walking towards the area to
[42:17] Speaker 2: see if I can get a closer look or and
[42:20] Speaker 2: I could hear running through the forest, running away whatever
[42:24] Speaker 2: it was. I was like, I could not believe it.
[42:28] Speaker 2: But that happened right after I played this crying baby,
[42:32] Speaker 2: and I was so happy that I was filming it.
[42:34] Speaker 1: I've heard that, I've heard people use that baby cry.
[42:38] Speaker 1: I've never had the guts to do it myself, just
[42:41] Speaker 1: because I'm afraid of what might come back towards me,
[42:45] Speaker 1: and that you prove that stuff can respond out of
[42:48] Speaker 1: the dark. You also mentioned an interesting thing which I
[42:51] Speaker 1: also experienced multiple times, which you hear researchers say that
[42:56] Speaker 1: you're only going to hear stuff if your recorders are off.
[43:00] Speaker 1: Experienced that multiple times. Were you able to actually capture
[43:04] Speaker 1: any audio or anything interesting up in Oregon? I wasn't
[43:09] Speaker 1: able to because my recording stuff had issues or it
[43:13] Speaker 1: was turned off when I heard stuff.
[43:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I wasn't able to capture any any audio.
[43:22] Speaker 2: None of the We heard a couple howls off in
[43:25] Speaker 2: the distance. I got that roar. But yeah, it's so
[43:31] Speaker 2: weird how it's as if the thing's in the forest waiting.
[43:34] Speaker 2: It's awful. Okay, let's do it, guys. Oh want to
[43:38] Speaker 2: turn on? I won't shut up, you know.
[43:40] Speaker 3: No, absolutely.
[43:41] Speaker 1: And I used to think when people would say that,
[43:44] Speaker 1: I would be like, okay, yeah, but I experienced it
[43:47] Speaker 1: once my stuff was turned off and put in the car.
[43:51] Speaker 1: There's something to it. I think it's just it is
[43:55] Speaker 1: so incredibly weird. I do want to ask you one
[43:59] Speaker 1: more question, Jason, and it's a basic one, but it's
[44:02] Speaker 1: a fun one. You're into this five or six years,
[44:06] Speaker 1: Do you have any thoughts as what as to what
[44:09] Speaker 1: this is that we're dealing with. What these sasquatch actually are.
[44:14] Speaker 2: It's interesting. I do think there's some kind of an there,
[44:18] Speaker 2: an animal, some kind. I think they are highly intelligent.
[44:24] Speaker 2: I can't tell you if they're alien or if they're
[44:28] Speaker 2: from a different planet. This thing about cloaking, there's a
[44:35] Speaker 2: big possibility that they have some incredible camouflage skills, only
[44:40] Speaker 2: because when I think about that stuff, I always think
[44:44] Speaker 2: about the real animals in real life that do have
[44:49] Speaker 2: abilities of cloaking or at least camouflaging themselves, like the octopus,
[44:57] Speaker 2: the octopers, and the cunlifters. They have incredible abilities of
[45:03] Speaker 2: camouflage to the point where they could almost cloak. Why
[45:06] Speaker 2: can't bigfoot have some similar kind of abilities of being
[45:12] Speaker 2: able to camouflage themselves. The thing about them going through
[45:15] Speaker 2: portals or at least being invisible. The only one thing
[45:20] Speaker 2: that goes in my head is if you think about it,
[45:25] Speaker 2: allegedly these animals don't want us to see them. That's
[45:28] Speaker 2: why they run past us. That they run away when
[45:30] Speaker 2: they think that they're being seen. If they could be invisible,
[45:36] Speaker 2: or if they could just transport themselves to a portal,
[45:40] Speaker 2: why would they ever come out of being invisible? Why
[45:44] Speaker 2: would they ever come out of a portal? If they
[45:47] Speaker 2: don't want to be seen. When they get seen, there's
[45:50] Speaker 2: a chance they could be shot and killed, so it
[45:53] Speaker 2: could be dangerous. So if they have the ability of
[45:55] Speaker 2: being invisible, why would they ever come out of being invisible?
[46:00] Speaker 2: People say maybe it hurts them when they're invisible. I'm like,
[46:03] Speaker 2: I don't know what that. Why would some nature, why
[46:06] Speaker 2: would they make something like that where you're in pain
[46:09] Speaker 2: when you're invisible. I think they're flesh and blood and
[46:14] Speaker 2: on me a matter of time before we finally get
[46:18] Speaker 2: an amazing shot of one, not to shoot one, just.
[46:25] Speaker 1: One exactly documentation. Yeah, that's a great, a great clarification
[46:31] Speaker 1: to make. My viewpoint is actually very similar, so it's
[46:34] Speaker 1: good to hear that as well, even though every viewpoint
[46:37] Speaker 1: is fine. On this podcast, I talk to all sorts
[46:40] Speaker 1: of people, but I do also think it's probably some
[46:43] Speaker 1: kind of physical animal that can do things that science
[46:47] Speaker 1: just can't explain yet. Jason, it has been an absolute
[46:50] Speaker 1: pleasure talking to you this afternoon, Do you mind taking
[46:54] Speaker 1: a few minutes reminding people how they can keep to
[46:57] Speaker 1: up to date with what you're doing. Why watch your
[47:00] Speaker 1: documentaries and maybe even what you've got coming up next
[47:04] Speaker 1: with all that.
[47:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, if if anybody is interested in finding my stuff,
[47:11] Speaker 2: you can find you can find my documentary Read a
[47:14] Speaker 2: Watts on to b TV Ruku Plex, go on Plex,
[47:19] Speaker 2: you can find it there. You can find it on
[47:21] Speaker 2: Prime Video, but you can find it on YouTube also there.
[47:25] Speaker 2: You know, you can find my comic book or my
[47:29] Speaker 2: graphic novel. You can find that on Amazon. In fact,
[47:33] Speaker 2: if you just google my name Jason Kenzie Animals or
[47:37] Speaker 2: Jason Kenzie, Sasquats or Bigfoot, you will find all the
[47:42] Speaker 2: news reports that I've been written about me, all my documentation.
[47:47] Speaker 2: I do have a website called Searching for Sasquats dot ca.
[47:51] Speaker 2: Yeah you can. You can find me on Instagram called
[47:54] Speaker 2: Searching Sasquatch TikTok searching for Sasquats on TikTok. But yeah,
[48:00] Speaker 2: I just want to I want to know if you
[48:02] Speaker 2: want to lose yourself and my Bigfoot adventures. They're fun,
[48:08] Speaker 2: they're adventures, they're good for the whole family and seeing
[48:12] Speaker 2: you will see jeremyah in one of them. It looks
[48:15] Speaker 2: great on film, so get out there, and that's true.
[48:20] Speaker 3: You will see me in one of them. Wote you.
[48:24] Speaker 3: It was fun being involved with that.
[48:26] Speaker 1: But Jason, it's been a privilege chatting with you, and
[48:29] Speaker 1: hopefully our pads cross again someday in the future.
[48:33] Speaker 3: And thank you for.
[48:33] Speaker 2: Coming on man, Thank you, Jim.
[48:39] Speaker 3: Chad, whenever you're ready.
[48:40] Speaker 4: My interest in Bigfoot came in the nineties when I
[48:45] Speaker 4: really got interested in Bigfoot. My first knowledge at Bigfoot,
[48:51] Speaker 4: believe it or not, came from a TV show called
[48:56] Speaker 4: The Six Million Dollar Man and also in Search of
[49:01] Speaker 4: with Leonard Nimoy. Okay, so now I'm giving away my
[49:05] Speaker 4: age and the Patterson Gimmlin footage, that short clip that
[49:12] Speaker 4: as a young child was my introduction into what bigfoot was.
[49:17] Speaker 4: And I always was told that it's not real. It's
[49:22] Speaker 4: what you're seeing is all made up. What people are
[49:24] Speaker 4: saying is all made up. And as a young child influential,
[49:28] Speaker 4: it's easy to believe. But I always still remembered the
[49:33] Speaker 4: things that I watched, and then in the nineties, with
[49:36] Speaker 4: the Internet and things becoming more available and me seeing
[49:42] Speaker 4: something Bigfoot and I go look at it. I don't
[49:46] Speaker 4: even remember what the first thing was on the Internet
[49:48] Speaker 4: that I saw, and then I realized that it led
[49:51] Speaker 4: to more things, more stories. I spent years just reading
[49:56] Speaker 4: and watching any video I could, following researchers years. I'm
[50:03] Speaker 4: not out looking for Bigfoot, listening to what everybody else
[50:07] Speaker 4: had to say, all opinions, because everybody has a different opinion,
[50:12] Speaker 4: but listening to every opinion, and then it then all
[50:18] Speaker 4: of a sudden, Finding Bigfoot comes out. I'm like, you
[50:20] Speaker 4: gotta be kidding me. This is the greatest thing ever.
[50:24] Speaker 4: I loved the show. I mean no, I'm not a
[50:27] Speaker 4: fan of the show. I understand how network runs it
[50:30] Speaker 4: now and all that, but it brought attention to the topic,
[50:38] Speaker 4: and then it brought more people coming out. See, finding
[50:41] Speaker 4: Bigfoot did a great thing. They did a great thing
[50:44] Speaker 4: with their database. Matt Moneymaker, he did a great thing
[50:48] Speaker 4: at making sure that happened, and they did a great
[50:52] Speaker 4: thing at bringing the attention to the topic. And then
[50:56] Speaker 4: people that have held in their experiences for years and
[50:59] Speaker 4: years coming out in the open and telling people. So
[51:06] Speaker 4: this was huge. Now the Internet's even getting better, and
[51:11] Speaker 4: now I'm finding researchers out there. And I find a
[51:13] Speaker 4: guy named Mark Zaski who is my mentor, and I
[51:19] Speaker 4: studied everything he did, everything I followed him and everything
[51:24] Speaker 4: he put out. I followed him for years. I became good,
[51:27] Speaker 4: really good friends with him. One day, he says to me,
[51:32] Speaker 4: because now I'm an armchair researcher for five plus years, says,
[51:36] Speaker 4: you know what, check, You just need to get out
[51:38] Speaker 4: and find out for yourself. And I'm like, I have
[51:42] Speaker 4: no clue what I'm doing out there. Even though I'm
[51:45] Speaker 4: an outdoorsman and the hunter, I'm not a big foot professional.
[51:48] Speaker 4: I've just been watching all these videos. Even though I
[51:51] Speaker 4: didn't realize I really had all the knowledge I needed
[51:54] Speaker 4: to make my own decision as far as kiving, decision
[52:00] Speaker 4: as far as what was happening. And I'll admit it's
[52:04] Speaker 4: easy to think if you're looking for bigfoot and something happens,
[52:07] Speaker 4: it's easy to think bigfoot. But that's the last thing
[52:09] Speaker 4: you want to do because most of the time it's not.
[52:12] Speaker 4: But Mark convinced me to get out in the woods,
[52:14] Speaker 4: and the minute I got out and I started researching,
[52:20] Speaker 4: I was amazed. I took all the knowledge of tree
[52:24] Speaker 4: structures I started finding tree structures and a lot of
[52:28] Speaker 4: stuff balls in the woods. But I'm finding stuff so
[52:31] Speaker 4: intricate that it has to be built, it would require
[52:36] Speaker 4: hands to put the stuff together. And then so now
[52:39] Speaker 4: I'm finding these areas. And then now I'm like hanging out.
[52:44] Speaker 4: I'm not just chomping through the woods. I'm going and
[52:47] Speaker 4: sitting and listening and camping in areas where I find
[52:51] Speaker 4: this kind of stuff. And I was amazed that the
[52:56] Speaker 4: activity that would happen at night when you're in your
[53:00] Speaker 4: tent or where you're sitting around the campfire and you
[53:03] Speaker 4: can't see anything because all you have is a campfire light,
[53:06] Speaker 4: and everything outside the campfires just yet black, and the
[53:10] Speaker 4: noises here, and the things you'd find The next morning,
[53:14] Speaker 4: I'd find a camp spot and I'd search the whole area.
[53:18] Speaker 4: I look for signatures and sign structures, glyphs and all that.
[53:22] Speaker 4: And I know I searched the area, and wake up
[53:25] Speaker 4: the next morning and get up and all of a sudden,
[53:27] Speaker 4: there's this glyph in a tree that I know for effect,
[53:32] Speaker 4: wasn't there. Now this is telling me there's something going on,
[53:36] Speaker 4: there's something real. Then I find this area that I
[53:41] Speaker 4: didn't believe they were in but they were, and I
[53:43] Speaker 4: knew from what I had learned, and I started habituating them.
[53:47] Speaker 4: I spent just a couple of years every day or
[53:51] Speaker 4: every other day, leaving them apples, habituating them. Then I
[53:57] Speaker 4: had my first daylight sighting out there. Like I go
[54:02] Speaker 4: out after work, it's about dusk. I hang these apples.
[54:06] Speaker 4: I can hear stuff moving towards them. It's like it
[54:08] Speaker 4: got to the point they were so comfortable and I
[54:11] Speaker 4: just go do it and leave. And I'm walking out
[54:14] Speaker 4: and all of a sudden, I just had this feeling
[54:16] Speaker 4: I'm being watched. And I turn and in an arch
[54:21] Speaker 4: of a tree. It wasn't a really big tree, but
[54:23] Speaker 4: it's a wide off tree, and there was a y
[54:26] Speaker 4: in the arch of it. I look and there is
[54:29] Speaker 4: the shape of a head, and it's a dark head,
[54:31] Speaker 4: and then there's outline of like shoulders outside of this
[54:36] Speaker 4: tree staring at me. And I'm looking at it. I
[54:39] Speaker 4: don't think it, no way, no way am I seeing this.
[54:43] Speaker 4: And the minute I think that, it steps out to
[54:48] Speaker 4: the side and it's standing there right in front of me,
[54:51] Speaker 4: just looking at me. And it's not a huge one.
[54:55] Speaker 4: Maybe I believe it was a juvenile and it just
[54:59] Speaker 4: stands there and it just looks at me, and then
[55:01] Speaker 4: I just get this feeling and I get this like
[55:04] Speaker 4: pulsating going through my body, tingling, and I get this
[55:08] Speaker 4: like this dread going through me. And you know, I
[55:12] Speaker 4: stared at the thing for five six seconds, the longest
[55:15] Speaker 4: I've ever stared at once in the daylight. But I
[55:18] Speaker 4: just this feeling that came over me and through my body.
[55:22] Speaker 4: I was like, it made me retreat, and I retreated.
[55:26] Speaker 4: I mean, I've had a lot of stories and I
[55:28] Speaker 4: can't get into all of them, but really I got
[55:33] Speaker 4: my start because of the Internet, because I always had
[55:39] Speaker 4: the interest and I was able to look up all
[55:45] Speaker 4: these reports and stories and people's beliefs and to be
[55:49] Speaker 4: able to study the greats out there. They're great people
[55:52] Speaker 4: out there. There are I'm not going to name names,
[55:57] Speaker 4: but anybody that's into bigfoot research. No, there's people that
[56:01] Speaker 4: are long gone that put in so much time and
[56:04] Speaker 4: effort into this that I get to study what their
[56:07] Speaker 4: findings are. And there's people current out there today that
[56:11] Speaker 4: are really that really actually put in the work. Not
[56:15] Speaker 4: network type people, even though I have nothing against them.
[56:21] Speaker 4: The network personalities they're doing their job, they're bringing attention,
[56:25] Speaker 4: so what they do is important. But those aren't the
[56:28] Speaker 4: personalities that I follow when I want advice about Bigfoot,
[56:34] Speaker 4: and I don't know, I don't know where else to
[56:39] Speaker 4: go from there.
[56:39] Speaker 1: Jeremiah, that's such an incredible story, you know, and you're
[56:44] Speaker 1: the first person that's brought up six million dollar Man,
[56:49] Speaker 1: which kudos to you because comments is going to love that.
[56:52] Speaker 1: They're always there, always talking about that. But just the
[56:55] Speaker 1: fact that you put in the work about five years
[57:00] Speaker 1: doing the research before you actually were like, all right,
[57:03] Speaker 1: I will go out and see what happens. And I
[57:05] Speaker 1: don't think enough people get do enough time getting the
[57:12] Speaker 1: foundation down, So kudos to you. How did you get
[57:16] Speaker 1: involved with this with the Jason McKenzie, This Jason Kenzie guy,
[57:20] Speaker 1: this crazy dude who I love. I say that because
[57:24] Speaker 1: I got to hang out with him, and dude, dude
[57:26] Speaker 1: is amazing. You guys are the most fun team ever.
[57:30] Speaker 4: Well, he's definitely crazy. I think that's the only reason
[57:33] Speaker 4: that I can hang out with him, because I finally
[57:35] Speaker 4: found somebody crazier than me. But it's not even really
[57:41] Speaker 4: that difficult of a story. I helped start the Michigan
[57:45] Speaker 4: big Foot Conference in ann Arber. It was the first
[57:47] Speaker 4: one ever. I was a big part of it. I
[57:50] Speaker 4: was a big part of getting the speaker, setting it up,
[57:53] Speaker 4: organizing everything. There was a lot of other people involved.
[57:56] Speaker 4: Shout out Dave Dominique, shut out Ernest Spargo, shout out
[58:01] Speaker 4: Sherry Barsia, shout out John Taylor. I can't even name
[58:05] Speaker 4: Josh Persons. There's so many people that were involved to
[58:09] Speaker 4: help make this successful event happen. And Ernie said, have
[58:15] Speaker 4: you ever seen this guy? I think he had one
[58:18] Speaker 4: or two documentaries. He's so funny. I watched his first one.
[58:21] Speaker 4: I said, this guy ain't funny, this guy an idiot.
[58:26] Speaker 4: And he says, watch the next one. I watched the
[58:28] Speaker 4: next one. I says, he's getting a little better. And
[58:31] Speaker 4: then he says, I think we should invite him to
[58:33] Speaker 4: the conference. We had a minimum budget, and at the time,
[58:37] Speaker 4: Jason was young, new, up and coming. I talked to
[58:40] Speaker 4: him and he accepted it. But the deal was is
[58:45] Speaker 4: he wanted to hang out after. He wanted to go
[58:48] Speaker 4: do a documentary after. So that was the main deal
[58:52] Speaker 4: to get him there. Pay his way there room and
[58:56] Speaker 4: I do a documentary. And so we get him there,
[59:00] Speaker 4: I'm like, Okay, all right, his personality on film is him,
[59:04] Speaker 4: but it's not. You don't get to ceasepending twenty four
[59:08] Speaker 4: hours straight with him, and he's such a pleasure to
[59:11] Speaker 4: be around most of the time. Don't get me wrong, there, Jeremiah.
[59:16] Speaker 4: Most of the time, he's such a pleasure to be around.
[59:19] Speaker 4: I contacted him again. I said, you know what, Jason,
[59:22] Speaker 4: I'll fund this. I'll fly you in. Let's do a
[59:24] Speaker 4: documentary in Michigan again. And ever since that it took up.
[59:30] Speaker 4: Now that was a bad thing though, because I flew
[59:33] Speaker 4: him in for three weeks. I'm gonna tell a story.
[59:37] Speaker 4: It's not really Bigfoot related, but it's Bigfoot right event Really,
[59:42] Speaker 4: I'm flying him in for three weeks. The night before
[59:46] Speaker 4: I'm supposed to pick him up from the airport, early
[59:49] Speaker 4: in the morning, I'm on my lawn and it starts downpouring.
[59:51] Speaker 4: I run in the house. It quits raining. I run
[59:54] Speaker 4: out to get the rest of the lawn done. I
[59:56] Speaker 4: hit the bottom step and my feets without wood deck steps,
[1:00:00] Speaker 4: slip out. I fall. I break five ribs. I almost die.
[1:00:04] Speaker 4: I spend two weeks in the hospital. Literally, I get
[1:00:09] Speaker 4: surgery get plates put in my ribs finally, and then
[1:00:12] Speaker 4: I'm out. Within a couple days after that, I have
[1:00:14] Speaker 4: one day to spend with Jason. I am out there
[1:00:17] Speaker 4: every day with him, hiking through the woods, hiking. I'm
[1:00:21] Speaker 4: falling down a cliff just out of the hospital. So
[1:00:28] Speaker 4: that is our first actual really me and him, aside
[1:00:31] Speaker 4: from the conference thing. After that, it just took off. Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Pennsylvania, No, Ohio,
[1:00:40] Speaker 4: Michigan three times, Ohio, Florida. I wasn't in Indiana, but
[1:00:46] Speaker 4: I made Indiana happen. Then Kentucky, then Pennsylvania, Oregon, and
[1:00:53] Speaker 4: this is all within the last less than a year
[1:00:55] Speaker 4: and a half, like these six that I mentioning. So yeah,
[1:01:00] Speaker 4: I'm just going to keep doing it. We're all a team,
[1:01:03] Speaker 4: we all chip in, we all do our share, we
[1:01:06] Speaker 4: all take this really seriously. Jeremiah, you see it, you
[1:01:10] Speaker 4: see it. You've been out with us, so we have
[1:01:13] Speaker 4: fun too.
[1:01:14] Speaker 3: I want to comment.
[1:01:15] Speaker 1: So I've seen not all the documentaries, but I've seen
[1:01:19] Speaker 1: some of them, and my first thing was like, Wow,
[1:01:21] Speaker 1: this guy is goofy, but he's having fun. But then
[1:01:24] Speaker 1: after I got to spend time with them, I was like, Wow,
[1:01:26] Speaker 1: these guys are having fun, but they are taking it
[1:01:30] Speaker 1: way more serious than.
[1:01:34] Speaker 3: I'll say.
[1:01:34] Speaker 1: They're at the top of taking this like they are
[1:01:37] Speaker 1: seriously trying to get evidence and document and they're just
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: having a really good time when they do it. And
[1:01:43] Speaker 1: it's just it's such a unique combination. I haven't really
[1:01:47] Speaker 1: seen it anywhere else, to be honest, So it's great.
[1:01:51] Speaker 4: I'm not in it if there's not serious and I
[1:01:54] Speaker 4: think that's just me and Sherry too. And as you
[1:01:58] Speaker 4: speak at Jason, this is character man, he's just a clown.
[1:02:04] Speaker 4: But sometimes when we're out in the woods, it's a
[1:02:07] Speaker 4: totally different Jason. We really research, we really solo camp,
[1:02:12] Speaker 4: we really go alone out in the woods. Everything is
[1:02:15] Speaker 4: non film. It can all go on film. Most of
[1:02:19] Speaker 4: the times you're out there all night long, nothing happens,
[1:02:22] Speaker 4: nothing working. But it's times that something happens, which they happen.
[1:02:31] Speaker 4: You spend enough time and you do the research right,
[1:02:35] Speaker 4: you will have something happen.
[1:02:38] Speaker 1: Has there been a time when you're out there filming
[1:02:41] Speaker 1: a documentary where it's just gotten really weird or things
[1:02:45] Speaker 1: have really escalated and you're like, wow, I'm not sure
[1:02:48] Speaker 1: if this was a good life decision to be in
[1:02:52] Speaker 1: this right here where stuff is just out of my control,
[1:03:00] Speaker 1: and yet.
[1:03:00] Speaker 4: Not during a documentary.
[1:03:01] Speaker 3: Wow, okay, cool, cool.
[1:03:07] Speaker 4: Just watch the Michigan one where we had Robin Haines
[1:03:09] Speaker 4: McCrae there and she's telling us the right here, their
[1:03:13] Speaker 4: minds speaking to me. His name's what do he say, Harambi?
[1:03:17] Speaker 4: They have a family, they're worried about you. You're scaring them.
[1:03:21] Speaker 4: They're right there. And then all of a sudden, eyes everywhere,
[1:03:25] Speaker 4: crashing through the woods.
[1:03:27] Speaker 2: It's all.
[1:03:28] Speaker 4: It's in a documentary. What one is that six or seven?
[1:03:31] Speaker 4: I think seven, I don't know. It's a Michigan one.
[1:03:36] Speaker 4: It's all everything that happened, is there, Jason, Tony, Chad.
[1:03:41] Speaker 4: There's something in front of me, Chad, and you see
[1:03:44] Speaker 4: his eyes up and you watch it drop to the ground.
[1:03:46] Speaker 2: Chad, just drop that.
[1:03:48] Speaker 4: I'm standing right there looking at it. I'm not saying nothing.
[1:03:51] Speaker 4: I'm just locked down. The eyes. All that really happened.
[1:03:55] Speaker 4: And then the crashing through the woods. Yeah, and then
[1:03:59] Speaker 4: we are also I have other fun things. We go
[1:04:02] Speaker 4: chomping through a freaking roost of turkeys up in the trees.
[1:04:05] Speaker 4: It's scarce. We get out on film, and but yeah,
[1:04:10] Speaker 4: the first thing you think, you're we're about being attacked.
[1:04:13] Speaker 4: Have you ever walked under twenty five turkeys up in
[1:04:16] Speaker 4: trees and all of a sudden they all take Okay now,
[1:04:20] Speaker 4: and we've got this on video. It scared this dude.
[1:04:23] Speaker 4: I am not kidding you know. I think it's coming
[1:04:26] Speaker 4: out in one of the documentaries. You will hear it
[1:04:29] Speaker 4: in our voices. I've never had that happen to me
[1:04:32] Speaker 4: before either. But yeah, we're out there looking for Bigfoot.
[1:04:36] Speaker 4: All of a sudden, there's just a forest just erupts.
[1:04:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, oh man, I'm looking forward to that definitely. What
[1:04:44] Speaker 1: do you hope is accomplished through all these documentaries that
[1:04:48] Speaker 1: the team is putting out.
[1:04:53] Speaker 4: My main goal is the one day get paid, but
[1:04:57] Speaker 4: that's not what I'm looking at. My main goal actually
[1:05:02] Speaker 4: is to get the word out there, to get other
[1:05:06] Speaker 4: people interested, to get other people researching. Truthfully, my goal
[1:05:12] Speaker 4: is to be a part of getting validation of the
[1:05:17] Speaker 4: species that I know exists. That is my true goal. Okay,
[1:05:22] Speaker 4: am I ever going to make money at this now?
[1:05:26] Speaker 4: But maybe I'll break even one day, But that's not
[1:05:29] Speaker 4: what this is about. I've been doing this so long
[1:05:33] Speaker 4: that it's not what it's about. What it's about is
[1:05:37] Speaker 4: the next generation getting the young interested, because we're dying breed, Jeremiah,
[1:05:44] Speaker 4: we are a dying breed. We are falling out. All
[1:05:48] Speaker 4: the ogs are dying. They're either dead or they're dying off.
[1:05:53] Speaker 4: And now it's us and it's our responsibility of the
[1:05:57] Speaker 4: people between thirty and fifty five to get the generation
[1:06:03] Speaker 4: below us interested in looking into it and seeing for
[1:06:08] Speaker 4: themselves is real so that they stay dedicated and continue.
[1:06:13] Speaker 4: It's going to be hard to prove it's real. We
[1:06:16] Speaker 4: know it's real. We have a battle ahead of us
[1:06:19] Speaker 4: for that media and I don't even want to get
[1:06:23] Speaker 4: into the details. Most people that are in the Bigfoot
[1:06:27] Speaker 4: understand who's stopping us from this being the truth and
[1:06:34] Speaker 4: being out there and being validated. It's not the trolls.
[1:06:38] Speaker 4: It's not the trolls on Facebook though aren't helping us
[1:06:42] Speaker 4: be validated. It's higher sources above us. So I'll leave
[1:06:48] Speaker 4: out at that.
[1:06:49] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and I'll just throw a little bit in
[1:06:51] Speaker 1: there too. I agree with you chat one hundred percent.
[1:06:54] Speaker 1: There are times when I've been doing certain interviews and
[1:06:57] Speaker 1: certain things are mentioned, just go it. Just totally shut
[1:07:02] Speaker 1: shuts down. You know, it's just like, dude, I don't
[1:07:07] Speaker 1: know you've heard things I've heard of.
[1:07:09] Speaker 4: I have a personal experience with Department of Interior. Am
[1:07:17] Speaker 4: I allowed to say that?
[1:07:18] Speaker 1: Yes, so you're saying you have an interesting story with
[1:07:21] Speaker 1: the Department of the Interior.
[1:07:25] Speaker 4: Absolutely, Okay, go right ahead.
[1:07:27] Speaker 3: My friend.
[1:07:30] Speaker 4: I was in Florida. I moved down there a couple
[1:07:33] Speaker 4: of years. For a couple of years, started business. The
[1:07:37] Speaker 4: business didn't work out, so I took a job with
[1:07:40] Speaker 4: my brother. We installed gates and security systems and things
[1:07:46] Speaker 4: like that. And one of our clients that we did
[1:07:51] Speaker 4: the gate for was a panther preserve in the Everglades,
[1:07:56] Speaker 4: fifteen miles from David Sheeley's SCUNCP ped We happened to
[1:08:01] Speaker 4: be down there doing a job over by date. We
[1:08:05] Speaker 4: had to do two of them right in that area,
[1:08:08] Speaker 4: and my brother my first time at the Skunk Ape
[1:08:11] Speaker 4: Research headquarters. So my brother would drive right by it,
[1:08:17] Speaker 4: have to, so he stops there for me.
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: I buy hat.
[1:08:21] Speaker 4: I walked through it. I buy hat. Then we go
[1:08:23] Speaker 4: to the panther preserve. We get there, I meet this
[1:08:29] Speaker 4: old guy Department of Interior, Federal government, and I'm a
[1:08:37] Speaker 4: bigfoot researcher. And my brother introduces me to him and
[1:08:43] Speaker 4: we're just chit chat and I rang, up, Hey, anybody
[1:08:49] Speaker 4: ever came to you and reported a bigfoot? And he laughed,
[1:08:53] Speaker 4: he said no, And then I give him this look
[1:08:56] Speaker 4: as I'm wearing the skunk Ape Research Headquarters hat. I
[1:09:00] Speaker 4: give him this look. And then he looks at me, Oh,
[1:09:03] Speaker 4: unless you're talking about the Seeli brothers. And I'm like okay,
[1:09:08] Speaker 4: and so then I let it go at that, and
[1:09:11] Speaker 4: then I said, you have to have trail cameras all
[1:09:14] Speaker 4: over out here, don't you? And he said, oh yeah.
[1:09:16] Speaker 4: I'm like, what's the weirdest thing you've ever got? So
[1:09:19] Speaker 4: I'm like fishing. Why am working? We're repairing his gates.
[1:09:23] Speaker 4: He says, tell you the truth, Chad, an arctic fox.
[1:09:27] Speaker 4: I'm like what he said. Yeah, don't know how I
[1:09:30] Speaker 4: got here, but we've got an arctic fox that we've
[1:09:33] Speaker 4: got on trail camera, which why would it be in
[1:09:36] Speaker 4: the Florida Everglade. We're working and stuff and just chit
[1:09:39] Speaker 4: chatting and I'm not pushing the big foot thing, and
[1:09:44] Speaker 4: my brother sends me to the van. I forget what
[1:09:48] Speaker 4: he sent me to go get and get something, a
[1:09:51] Speaker 4: tool or something we needed. And my brother, this is
[1:09:54] Speaker 4: what my brother told me, he said, when I sent
[1:09:56] Speaker 4: you there. I looked at and I said, my brother's
[1:09:59] Speaker 4: really into the this and really believes in this. We
[1:10:01] Speaker 4: all just laugh at him, he said, folded his arms
[1:10:06] Speaker 4: and stared at him and didn't say a word. He said,
[1:10:08] Speaker 4: it was the weirdest thing chat. But I get this
[1:10:11] Speaker 4: all after what I'm about to have it. So he
[1:10:14] Speaker 4: finished the job up and everything federal government. He can't
[1:10:17] Speaker 4: tell me nothing. He can't say nothing. I'm getting the van.
[1:10:21] Speaker 4: He says, hey, Chad, and I turned around and said, hey,
[1:10:25] Speaker 4: m He looks at me with his arms folded, and
[1:10:27] Speaker 4: he shakes his head yes, like majorly shakes his head yes,
[1:10:32] Speaker 4: turns around and walks away.
[1:10:36] Speaker 3: WHOA.
[1:10:38] Speaker 4: He's not allowed to tell me. He can do that.
[1:10:42] Speaker 4: My brother made fun of me. He looked at it.
[1:10:44] Speaker 4: He knows. I know, but a lot of people know.
[1:10:50] Speaker 4: Most people just believe what they're told by media. Let's
[1:10:54] Speaker 4: be honest. Why would the government want us to know
[1:10:56] Speaker 4: they're real? Why would they How does that benefit the government.
[1:11:00] Speaker 4: It doesn't. It hurts it financially. It hurts it hurts
[1:11:06] Speaker 4: so much, just with the parks and recreation. Oh, missing
[1:11:13] Speaker 4: four one one, okay, yeah, all these people that were
[1:11:16] Speaker 4: missing here. Yeah, we think most of it's Bigfoot related.
[1:11:19] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, bring your kids, your children here? A billion
[1:11:23] Speaker 4: dollar industry, what's it? Due to the Catholic Church, they
[1:11:27] Speaker 4: already took the Book of Enoch out of the Bible,
[1:11:29] Speaker 4: which has I believe a lot of what Bigfoot is
[1:11:32] Speaker 4: in it. I can't say it does because it no
[1:11:35] Speaker 4: longer exists, but I believe it.
[1:11:39] Speaker 1: Is absolutely wild stuff. I just recently have been having
[1:11:45] Speaker 1: they say they're National park rangers reach out to me
[1:11:49] Speaker 1: from different areas, and the interviews never get set up.
[1:11:55] Speaker 1: For some reason, they never follow through. And I don't
[1:11:58] Speaker 1: know if there's some I don't know, but it is
[1:12:02] Speaker 1: getting to the point where I think people are trying
[1:12:05] Speaker 1: to reach out from behind that curtain of government protection
[1:12:11] Speaker 1: because I think there are definitely park rangers that know something,
[1:12:15] Speaker 1: and they're at the point where these forestry workers, these
[1:12:19] Speaker 1: park rangers are like, we have to get the word out,
[1:12:22] Speaker 1: and I don't know, it'll be interesting to see what
[1:12:26] Speaker 1: happens in the next ten fifteen years.
[1:12:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, and when they come out on their deathbed because
[1:12:31] Speaker 4: there's so many that they say, oh they're old and senile.
[1:12:38] Speaker 3: It's wild. It is. It's absolutely wild.
[1:12:41] Speaker 1: And what you guys are doing with searching for Sasquatch
[1:12:47] Speaker 1: is just it is the coolest things. It's a documentary
[1:12:50] Speaker 1: series that that sneaks. It's sneaky because it looks like
[1:12:54] Speaker 1: it's just goofy, but then it's incredibly serious and I
[1:12:57] Speaker 1: totally recommend everyone check it out on to b YouTube.
[1:13:02] Speaker 1: Think it's on Amazon Prime too, right.
[1:13:06] Speaker 4: Yep, yep it is. And we all love each other.
[1:13:09] Speaker 4: That's a weird thing because the whole team we love
[1:13:13] Speaker 4: each other, Like we share tents together, We pick kicks
[1:13:18] Speaker 4: off of each other.
[1:13:19] Speaker 2: If my back is.
[1:13:22] Speaker 4: Anybody but Sherry will scratch it.
[1:13:26] Speaker 3: It's weird. Like spending hours with you guys in the woods.
[1:13:30] Speaker 1: Like I totally get it. A lot of listeners will
[1:13:32] Speaker 1: be like this sounds kind of weird. It's like, guys,
[1:13:34] Speaker 1: just just you'll get it.
[1:13:37] Speaker 3: It is very unique. It's totally unique, but it is an.
[1:13:40] Speaker 4: Absolute We spend a week in a tent together and
[1:13:46] Speaker 4: driving to a shower or and they haven't even experienced
[1:13:52] Speaker 4: it yet. In my early days, I've bathed in a creek.
[1:13:56] Speaker 4: Sherry hasn't experienced that yet, but that's coming up. Baden
[1:14:00] Speaker 4: in the creek, Oh she has. Oh that's right, you
[1:14:03] Speaker 4: did bathe in the creek. Yeah. Literally, People they they
[1:14:10] Speaker 4: see okay, Ohio, We'll just say, they see this documentary
[1:14:14] Speaker 4: and it's an hour and a half long. They don't
[1:14:16] Speaker 4: realize we've spent seven days in the woods together and
[1:14:21] Speaker 4: they just see the hour and a half.
[1:14:23] Speaker 1: Absolutely, Oh man, it's yeah, there's more. The behind the
[1:14:28] Speaker 1: scenes would be too much to handle, but it is
[1:14:31] Speaker 1: amazing and I loved every minute that I got to
[1:14:33] Speaker 1: spend with you guys. Chad, thank you for spending some
[1:14:37] Speaker 1: time hanging out talking to me tonight. Do you mind
[1:14:41] Speaker 1: reminding listeners how they can keep up to date with
[1:14:43] Speaker 1: what you guys are doing with the searching first ask
[1:14:47] Speaker 1: question all that kod stuff.
[1:14:48] Speaker 4: We actually have a whole lot planned ahead. There's we're
[1:14:53] Speaker 4: we're not behind in documentaries because we've got one editor
[1:14:57] Speaker 4: and one main guy, Jason, and then it takes time
[1:15:01] Speaker 4: to get through these documentaries. I think we're like actually
[1:15:07] Speaker 4: three that still haven't even began editing, and we're about
[1:15:12] Speaker 4: to do We're about to do four here in a
[1:15:17] Speaker 4: month and a half that we're going to film in
[1:15:19] Speaker 4: a month, and so there's going to be a lot
[1:15:21] Speaker 4: of documentaries coming out. It really does take a lot
[1:15:24] Speaker 4: of time, you know. I've been thinking about maybe we
[1:15:27] Speaker 4: go live more, just to do little fun, one hour
[1:15:30] Speaker 4: shows while we're out in the woods. If we're somewhere,
[1:15:33] Speaker 4: we're going to have signal. If I've picked my phone
[1:15:35] Speaker 4: up right now, Jeremiah and I walk fifteen feet away,
[1:15:38] Speaker 4: it's going to hang up. I'm sitting in a perfect spot.
[1:15:43] Speaker 4: I can't touch my phone. But I'd like to do
[1:15:47] Speaker 4: some live stuff here in the next year so that
[1:15:52] Speaker 4: we have more content out there available right because we're
[1:15:57] Speaker 4: typically four months then the next documentary is out, and
[1:16:05] Speaker 4: then once that's out, then Jason has to edit for
[1:16:07] Speaker 4: four months, and then we have to do all the
[1:16:09] Speaker 4: research that we do, and that takes four months between
[1:16:13] Speaker 4: the research we do and the other documentaries we film
[1:16:17] Speaker 4: to get that next one done. But then the one
[1:16:20] Speaker 4: that we just filmed, that's a year up the road
[1:16:24] Speaker 4: before it comes out. I don't the Oregon one. I
[1:16:28] Speaker 4: don't know, man, It's probably it's going to be months
[1:16:32] Speaker 4: before that one comes out. But it's gonna be well
[1:16:37] Speaker 4: that we could contact for you an interview with where
[1:16:41] Speaker 4: you took it. Why would you know?
[1:16:43] Speaker 3: What?
[1:16:44] Speaker 4: Do you realize she's going to have to edit? Were finished?
[1:16:52] Speaker 3: She's so good?
[1:16:54] Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, okay, okay, you want to redo anything?
[1:16:59] Speaker 4: Or great?
[1:17:00] Speaker 3: That is great, Thank you so much.
[1:17:04] Speaker 1: Have you ever heard all the accounts of bigfoot activity
[1:17:07] Speaker 1: around Oakridge, Oregon and you think to yourself, man, I
[1:17:10] Speaker 1: would love to get out in those woods and experience
[1:17:13] Speaker 1: it for myself. Well, guess what this year you can.
[1:17:18] Speaker 1: If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's
[1:17:21] Speaker 1: pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July tenth
[1:17:26] Speaker 1: through the eleventh, twenty twenty six. It's going to be
[1:17:30] Speaker 1: even better than the previous year's reason number one, I'll
[1:17:34] Speaker 1: be one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll
[1:17:37] Speaker 1: probably I'll say this. There may be stuff you haven't
[1:17:42] Speaker 1: heard anywhere else, because let's just say sometimes it's well,
[1:17:49] Speaker 1: you just got to be there. We'll leave it that
[1:17:51] Speaker 1: more about looking for Bigfoot in the Oakridge Woods. Now
[1:17:54] Speaker 1: check this out. You may know Jason Kenzie from his

[1:19:09] Speaker 1: you at the booth in Oakridish this year. We can
[1:19:13] Speaker 1: talk about your encounter. Was able to talk to so
[1:19:16] Speaker 1: many people last year and the year before. It is
[1:19:19] Speaker 1: an incredible time. You're not going to want to miss it,
[1:19:23] Speaker 1: and I'll see you there. Before we wrap this episode,
[1:19:27] Speaker 1: I want to say something directly to a very specific
[1:19:30] Speaker 1: group of listeners. If you're in the military, any branch
[1:19:33] Speaker 1: or forces, and if you've seen something that no one
[1:19:36] Speaker 1: can explain, or if you're a National park ranger or
[1:19:40] Speaker 1: forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet, or if
[1:19:43] Speaker 1: you're a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,
[1:19:47] Speaker 1: or if you're with the FBI a federal agency, or
[1:19:50] Speaker 1: working intelligence and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed
[1:19:53] Speaker 1: to talk about. And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or
[1:19:56] Speaker 1: search and rescue responder who's heard screams or found tracks
[1:20:00] Speaker 1: that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging industry
[1:20:04] Speaker 1: on a remote oil field, or a trucker with government
[1:20:07] Speaker 1: contracts and you've had something happen that you've never told
[1:20:11] Speaker 1: a soul. And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist,
[1:20:14] Speaker 1: or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence
[1:20:18] Speaker 1: you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor, a missionary,
[1:20:22] Speaker 1: or someone on a spiritual retreat and you saw something
[1:20:25] Speaker 1: that shook your faith, or if you work in the shadows, CIA,
[1:20:29] Speaker 1: NSA or anything with clearance and you've seen what the
[1:20:32] Speaker 1: public hasn't, then I want to talk to you, even
[1:20:37] Speaker 1: if it's anonymous, you can reach me at Bigfoot Society
[1:20:42] Speaker 1: at gmail dot com. The world needs to hear what
