In this intense Bigfoot encounter episode, a veteran gold prospector shares chilling firsthand experiences from deep in the wilderness of Southern Oregon and Northern California. While prospecting for gold near Cave Junction, Oregon, Josephine Creek, and remote parts of Sierra County, Plumas County, and the American River, what began as a mining adventure quickly turned into a terrifying encounter with something powerful, intelligent, and unseen. The guest recounts being stalked, followed, screamed at, and physically shaken by heavy bipedal footsteps, describing classic Bigfoot behaviors including wood knocks, triangulation, warning vocalizations, and intimidation displays. From night encounters near campfires to daylight experiences in extremely remote terrain, this episode explores how Bigfoot activity often overlaps with isolated gold-rich areas rarely visited by humans. You’ll hear detailed accounts involving Oregon Caves, Happy Camp, Feather River Canyon, and areas near Lake Tahoe, along with discussions on Bigfoot intelligence, territorial behavior, survival instincts, and why prospectors frequently report Sasquatch encounters. This episode also dives into the emotional and psychological impact of these experiences and why many witnesses stay silent for years. If you’re interested in Bigfoot sightings, Sasquatch encounters, wilderness horror stories, cryptids of the Pacific Northwest, or survival experiences in remote forests, this episode delivers a raw, firsthand account that challenges skepticism and raises serious questions about what lives deep in North America’s wildest places. [0:39] Speaker 2: That's awesome.
[0:40] Speaker 1: However, if you are not wanting to have to have
[0:44] Speaker 1: a discussion with your kids yet about high school level
[0:50] Speaker 1: subjects to do with the human body, this might not
[0:54] Speaker 1: be the episode for you. Everyone else, enjoy this is
[0:57] Speaker 1: a good one, all right, Bigfoot Society. The privilege of
[1:00] Speaker 1: talking to Eric Heiser today. Eric is an individual I
[1:04] Speaker 1: got connected to. He's a prospector and explorer, and he's
[1:07] Speaker 1: got some really interesting things to share. Experiences he's had
[1:11] Speaker 1: out there in California in Oregon, and also some stories
[1:15] Speaker 1: to share as well.
[1:15] Speaker 2: But welcome to the show.
[1:16] Speaker 3: Eric.
[1:17] Speaker 2: How are you doing.
[1:18] Speaker 3: I'm doing great, Jeremiah. I appreciate you having me on
[1:20] Speaker 3: the program.
[1:21] Speaker 2: Absolutely.
[1:22] Speaker 1: I love You've got the picture of the Patterson Gimblin
[1:25] Speaker 1: film right behind you on the wall. That's great, love it.
[1:29] Speaker 1: So listeners, you'll have to go over YouTube so you
[1:31] Speaker 1: can see that we are trying to do full video
[1:35] Speaker 1: interviews when we can, so I appreciate Eric doing the
[1:38] Speaker 1: extra effort to make that happen today. Eric, I would
[1:41] Speaker 1: love to hear all about what you've experienced. You were
[1:44] Speaker 1: saying you've been a prospector for fifteen plus years.
[1:48] Speaker 2: Is that right?
[1:50] Speaker 3: That's correct.
[1:51] Speaker 2: That's awesome, man. When did you get started?
[1:55] Speaker 3: Sometime after college. I was lost and I'd been drinking
[1:59] Speaker 3: a lot, and then I discovered myself in the woods.
[2:02] Speaker 3: I saw Tom Massey's show, the former president of the
[2:06] Speaker 3: GPA Gold Prospectors Association of America, inspired me to get
[2:10] Speaker 3: out there and look for gold. I started going out
[2:12] Speaker 3: there looking for gold and I just found myself and
[2:16] Speaker 3: I really discovered this part of me that I didn't
[2:19] Speaker 3: I always knew I had it. Because I always had
[2:20] Speaker 3: a passion and I had family in the gold Russian Australia,
[2:24] Speaker 3: so I feel that was actually genetic. I'm like the
[2:26] Speaker 3: reincarnation of a grandfather who was obsessed with the old,
[2:30] Speaker 3: the outdoors, opals and really hardcore adventures.
[2:34] Speaker 2: That's that is so cool.
[2:36] Speaker 1: And I think I've talked to maybe one or two
[2:40] Speaker 1: that are connected to that community over the years, and
[2:43] Speaker 1: you know, I want to say, prospectors and bigfoot go
[2:47] Speaker 1: hand in hand. It's just like the people both really
[2:51] Speaker 1: get into it. And so was there a time over
[2:55] Speaker 1: those years when you found yourself as a prospector intersecting
[3:00] Speaker 1: with the bigfoot world or what got you connected with that?
[3:05] Speaker 3: It just happened because the best gold is in the
[3:08] Speaker 3: most remote places. So the better the gold, the more
[3:12] Speaker 3: likely it is you are to encounter a big foot.
[3:15] Speaker 3: And so this is why nearly one hundred percent of
[3:18] Speaker 3: the prospectors I know who have spent a good ten
[3:20] Speaker 3: years in these remote types of locations have absolutely had
[3:24] Speaker 3: bigfoot encounters. And so you put the time in these locations,
[3:28] Speaker 3: and you're really primed for an encounter too, because you're
[3:31] Speaker 3: in the location, you've got your head down, you're very approachable.
[3:35] Speaker 3: You're staying still, you're usually painting or digging, you're staying
[3:38] Speaker 3: in the same spot. So this makes you very approachable
[3:41] Speaker 3: for a big foot and this is exactly why prospectors
[3:44] Speaker 3: have the encounters they do. They're in the right location,
[3:47] Speaker 3: they're doing the right thing, and they're very approachable. They're
[3:50] Speaker 3: not intimidating. They don't have a gun, they're just leaning over,
[3:54] Speaker 3: they don't have a rifle looking around or anything. They're
[3:56] Speaker 3: got their head down in the dirt.
[3:59] Speaker 2: Absolutely.
[4:00] Speaker 1: So when you first heard of bigfoot, were you on
[4:04] Speaker 1: the side where you're like, oh, it sounds like a
[4:06] Speaker 1: story that maybe the prospector started telling me to get
[4:09] Speaker 1: me scared out of certain areas, or were you on
[4:11] Speaker 1: the side of belief pretty much from the get go.
[4:15] Speaker 3: I remember when the show Finding Bigfoot came out, and
[4:17] Speaker 3: I think I had already been prospecting at the time,
[4:20] Speaker 3: and a friend of mine I was joking about this, Oh,
[4:22] Speaker 3: it's so fake, and my buddies, no, Bigfoot's real. Look
[4:25] Speaker 3: into it, and I was like, I'll prove you wrong.
[4:27] Speaker 3: So I get on the internet and I start digging,
[4:30] Speaker 3: and the more I dug, the more I dug. I
[4:32] Speaker 3: didn't even leave my room for a couple of days.
[4:34] Speaker 3: I realized after I came out of my room after
[4:37] Speaker 3: a couple of days of thorough digging, I realized, you're right,
[4:40] Speaker 3: Bigfoot is actually real. There's more evidence to support that
[4:44] Speaker 3: this is real than it stopped. But I still have
[4:46] Speaker 3: that in my head. Yay, maybe it's nut. Maybe it is.
[4:50] Speaker 3: So that was that I had enough evidence in my head,
[4:55] Speaker 3: but it would be several years till I started having
[4:57] Speaker 3: my own encounters.
[4:58] Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, it is.
[5:00] Speaker 1: It's really cool that your story puts you in the
[5:03] Speaker 1: spot where you were able to do that research before
[5:06] Speaker 1: you got thrown into it. But can you take us
[5:09] Speaker 1: to a point where things really did ramp up to
[5:13] Speaker 1: you and you started experiencing what Bigfoot was in real life?
[5:19] Speaker 3: Yeah, things started to actually slowly escalate. For me. It's
[5:23] Speaker 3: really interesting because I've had several encounters, and some of
[5:26] Speaker 3: them I don't really count as encounters because they're gray area.
[5:29] Speaker 3: But now looking back in hindsight, I can see that
[5:32] Speaker 3: they probably were, and it was just this interesting escalation,
[5:37] Speaker 3: and each situation was different. It all started when I
[5:39] Speaker 3: first started prospecting, and I would be going down to
[5:42] Speaker 3: this place out of Colfax, California. And actually at that
[5:46] Speaker 3: same time when I was out there, there were encounters
[5:49] Speaker 3: in Colefax. We're talking daytime sightings, dusk sightings of multiple individuals.
[5:54] Speaker 3: So the area had activity around it, and I was
[5:58] Speaker 3: aware of that because I was already aware of the BFRO,
[6:01] Speaker 3: having done some research and so so at that point
[6:04] Speaker 3: I was looking. I'm like, okay, that's just interesting to know,
[6:07] Speaker 3: and it was just in the back of mind. I
[6:08] Speaker 3: didn't really think much of it. I would go the
[6:10] Speaker 3: same place every week, several times a week, I'd go
[6:14] Speaker 3: down this trail that goes down river, and it was
[6:16] Speaker 3: pretty remote. I never ran into people, and so every
[6:20] Speaker 3: time I went, it was like, Okay, this is cool,
[6:22] Speaker 3: this is fun. And there's trees alongside the path going downriver,
[6:27] Speaker 3: and this was I go down this one day and
[6:31] Speaker 3: all the trees are broken across the trail and they're
[6:34] Speaker 3: all healthy trees, but they're about this thick, three four
[6:37] Speaker 3: inches in diameter, and they're broken congruently at the same
[6:41] Speaker 3: place across the trail. It was like a sign. And
[6:44] Speaker 3: I'm the moment I saw it, I was thinking, this
[6:46] Speaker 3: is strange. How could this happen, and there's obviously obstructions
[6:50] Speaker 3: on the path, they're congruent, they're the same height, they're
[6:53] Speaker 3: all healthy trees. There's no dead trees here. So that
[6:56] Speaker 3: was the first thing that had me thinking, like, that's odd.
[6:59] Speaker 3: I didn't attribute it to bigfoot, though, and so I
[7:02] Speaker 3: went on my day. Nothing happened. I came back probably
[7:06] Speaker 3: some weeks or so later, and I brought a girlfriend
[7:09] Speaker 3: at the time, and we were going upriver, and this
[7:12] Speaker 3: place is even more remote, and it just gets more
[7:15] Speaker 3: and more remote the deeper you go in there, and
[7:17] Speaker 3: we almost I almost never see people want to go
[7:20] Speaker 3: prospecting because these This is exemplary of how remote these
[7:24] Speaker 3: places are that I go to. And so we're going
[7:27] Speaker 3: up river, and I still don't count this as an encounter,
[7:29] Speaker 3: but I do believe it probably was bigfoot. Now thinking
[7:32] Speaker 3: back on it and hearing what other people say, it's
[7:34] Speaker 3: really the same thing. This happened to so many others.
[7:38] Speaker 3: I was walking with my girlfriend. It's the middle of
[7:40] Speaker 3: the day, and there's really steep hillsides on the sides
[7:43] Speaker 3: of us, and there's a thick forest on this steep hillside.
[7:48] Speaker 3: We're talking. It's almost like straight up steep and we
[7:50] Speaker 3: have to go right past it along the edge of
[7:53] Speaker 3: the river, like right along the edge of the forest,
[7:55] Speaker 3: scooting along the bedrock in the forest to get to
[7:58] Speaker 3: the next area ahead. And as we're approaching the thicket,
[8:02] Speaker 3: I hear whack, whack, whack, and it just happened so quickly,
[8:07] Speaker 3: but it was so loud, and it was probably just
[8:10] Speaker 3: thirty to fifty feet away from us on the steep
[8:13] Speaker 3: hill side, and it was all fresh, healthy trees, no wind,
[8:16] Speaker 3: no dead anything, lush, beautiful, and it was just completely
[8:21] Speaker 3: unexplainable sound because it was like hitting a tree really
[8:24] Speaker 3: hard with a bat, but really quickly whack and then whack,
[8:27] Speaker 3: just cracking a huge tree instantly, and it wasn't like
[8:33] Speaker 3: it was just crack, like someone just cracked a big tree.
[8:37] Speaker 3: And at the time I was just like my girlfriend
[8:40] Speaker 3: and I she had no idea what bigfoot was. She's
[8:42] Speaker 3: from another country, and we just stopped and we were terrified. Immediately,
[8:46] Speaker 3: we got chills, and because the whole forest was quiet
[8:50] Speaker 3: except for that, and we just look at where the
[8:52] Speaker 3: sound came from, super steep, super thick patch of forest
[8:56] Speaker 3: right there right next to us, and we're just so
[9:00] Speaker 3: scared because there's no way we could explain that type
[9:03] Speaker 3: of sound. There's no way a human could make this sound.
[9:07] Speaker 3: You need industrial equipment and it'd have to be so
[9:10] Speaker 3: well thought out and it'd take a lot of money.
[9:13] Speaker 3: So that was very strange. But I still don't count
[9:17] Speaker 3: that as an encounter. It wasn't until I got super
[9:20] Speaker 3: undeniable situations. That's when I'm like, okay, bigfoot has been
[9:25] Speaker 3: around me. Same girlfriend. Some years later, I think I
[9:30] Speaker 3: had other situations where I was with prospectors and we
[9:33] Speaker 3: looked up on hillsides and I saw some it looked
[9:35] Speaker 3: like a tree shaking, and I'm like, that's really weird.
[9:38] Speaker 3: But it was so like obscure, I didn't really think
[9:41] Speaker 3: too much of it. I was like, gosh, that's big
[9:43] Speaker 3: footy and my friends, yeah, that's weird. I remember it's
[9:45] Speaker 3: looking it looked like a figure behind some brush shaking stuff,
[9:48] Speaker 3: and I have like video of it, but I never
[9:51] Speaker 3: even analyzed the video. In fact, it's a tragedy. I've
[9:54] Speaker 3: never analyzed any of the video of my encounters. But
[9:57] Speaker 3: that's another story I have. And people even say I
[10:01] Speaker 3: have Bigfoot on video. I didn't even check. But I'm
[10:04] Speaker 3: going too soon. There's a lot of trauma associated with
[10:07] Speaker 3: this because this is of course gpsley is terrifying when
[10:11] Speaker 3: you realize bigfoots around you and it's real, it's the
[10:15] Speaker 3: scariest thing in the world because there's no defense. There's
[10:18] Speaker 3: no protection against bigfoot. I carry a gun, but it's
[10:21] Speaker 3: not even for the bigfoot. It's for people. It's for
[10:24] Speaker 3: scaring animals, like a noise to term boom or or myself.
[10:28] Speaker 3: I'm not letting you take me hostage, but I do
[10:32] Speaker 3: carry a gun. I would never use it on a
[10:34] Speaker 3: bigfoot never ever. I'd sooner have them kill me. So
[10:37] Speaker 3: my girlfriend and I had been prospecting who's coming with
[10:40] Speaker 3: me a lot. We started having these weird things, and
[10:43] Speaker 3: I'm like, you know what, I think I got to
[10:45] Speaker 3: go out there and try to having a bigfoot encounter.
[10:47] Speaker 3: So I said, you know, let's go prospecting up in Oregon.
[10:50] Speaker 3: I know some places where I can go nugget hunting,
[10:53] Speaker 3: and there are also places with historic bigfoot encounters going
[10:56] Speaker 3: back to the eighteen hundreds. And that's where my bigfoot
[10:59] Speaker 3: road came in. Home Man, and so I went on
[11:03] Speaker 3: my first and only bigfoot road trip, and I went
[11:05] Speaker 3: looking for Bigfoot, and Bigfoot found me and it was
[11:10] Speaker 3: absolutely terrifying. But it wasn't even my most terrifying encounter.
[11:14] Speaker 3: My most terrifying would happen a couple of years ago.
[11:17] Speaker 3: So we go. We're in southern Oregon, between Cave Junction
[11:21] Speaker 3: and the coast, which if you look it out on
[11:23] Speaker 3: the map, there's nothing there. And we're going twenty miles
[11:29] Speaker 3: west of Cave Junction on dirt roads that are so
[11:32] Speaker 3: impossible to get through. And it was amaze too, because
[11:36] Speaker 3: there'd be multiple forks. I had no idea where I
[11:38] Speaker 3: was going. I'd just cut take a fork, take a fork,
[11:40] Speaker 3: and we're I think we're on a branch of Josephine Creek.
[11:43] Speaker 3: I think it's Jackson County, but I think it was
[11:46] Speaker 3: a fork of Justphine Creek. It goes east west the river,
[11:49] Speaker 3: and so we're following the river. I'm taking random forks,
[11:54] Speaker 3: and then we come to just this little clearing area
[11:56] Speaker 3: next to the river, surrounded by forest with a big
[11:59] Speaker 3: mountain on the other side of the river or creek,
[12:02] Speaker 3: I'm not sure. And this mountain, when you look at
[12:04] Speaker 3: it was really interesting because it went really high up
[12:09] Speaker 3: and then it plateaued and then it went further high
[12:12] Speaker 3: up and it was just like a full beautiful ecosystem.
[12:15] Speaker 3: It had cover, it had level areas, it had water
[12:19] Speaker 3: coming off in different areas. It was like a fully
[12:22] Speaker 3: sustainable place for bigfoot to live full time. And I
[12:25] Speaker 3: think this is where they're living full time and why
[12:28] Speaker 3: we had our encounter this area. If you look it
[12:31] Speaker 3: up on BFRO Josephine, Jackson County, I forget which one
[12:35] Speaker 3: you will find historic encounters that go back to I
[12:37] Speaker 3: think they have one of some hunter giving meat to
[12:40] Speaker 3: giving venison to a large ape man that approached him,
[12:44] Speaker 3: and this is in the same area of that. But
[12:47] Speaker 3: incredible ecosystem. So during the day, I had a metal
[12:51] Speaker 3: detectorles mostly metal detecting, us doing some panning. I was
[12:54] Speaker 3: going through all the old mine washes, ground sluices, sampling
[12:59] Speaker 3: detect We started hiking up the hillside on the other
[13:02] Speaker 3: side of the creek. I was making whoops, I was
[13:05] Speaker 3: doing rock clocks, I was doing woodknocks. I was making
[13:08] Speaker 3: a ruckus while I was detecting. I would stop every
[13:11] Speaker 3: once in a while whack my flip flops and then
[13:14] Speaker 3: continue detecting. And it got later in the day and
[13:17] Speaker 3: we were like, all right, let's camp here. And so
[13:20] Speaker 3: we had a relatively flat area right next to the
[13:23] Speaker 3: river there and set up our little tent. Took us,
[13:26] Speaker 3: by the way, two hours to set up, in less
[13:28] Speaker 3: than ten minutes to get out, and we had all
[13:31] Speaker 3: this stuff closedlines and all our stuff laid out. We
[13:34] Speaker 3: had a little fire pit and we're so I made
[13:40] Speaker 3: a ruckus during the day and then I have a
[13:43] Speaker 3: campfire and the sun is setting. It's a pretty quiet night.
[13:47] Speaker 3: There's not really much of a breeze at all. It's
[13:50] Speaker 3: really peaceful, and I've got this fire going. And at
[13:55] Speaker 3: one point we're getting close to getting ready to go
[13:58] Speaker 3: to bed, and this firepit had a large trunk of
[14:01] Speaker 3: metal inside of it that I wasn't aware of, and
[14:04] Speaker 3: somehow I hit it with something and it was like
[14:08] Speaker 3: the loudest thing in the world. It was like oh
[14:12] Speaker 3: woh wah wah wah wah wow, and it echoed for
[14:14] Speaker 3: miles down this canyon. It was so loud. I was
[14:17] Speaker 3: like Bigfoot wasn't coming then, like that literally, like they
[14:20] Speaker 3: could see the campfire. I made a ruckus during the day.
[14:23] Speaker 3: There's the loud, obnoxious, metallic bang and then on top
[14:27] Speaker 3: of all that, it was my girlfriend's period, and so
[14:30] Speaker 3: she goes behind a tree.
[14:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's why.
[14:35] Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's everything together. And in hindsight I realized this,
[14:39] Speaker 3: I could have lost her this night. Yeah, because she
[14:44] Speaker 3: was going to go pee at one point and she
[14:46] Speaker 3: was like, hey, could you come out with me? I
[14:47] Speaker 3: was like, oh, watch you, You're only ten feet away,
[14:50] Speaker 3: only ten feet away. So she goes right next to
[14:53] Speaker 3: a tree about ten feet away, just behind this tree,
[14:56] Speaker 3: and she peased, releasing her pheromones, and the breezes carrying
[15:00] Speaker 3: those paramones through the canyon. This is just me, in hindsight,
[15:03] Speaker 3: pacing things together. She goes pee and then she comes back,
[15:07] Speaker 3: and now I realized how dangerous it was. You can't
[15:09] Speaker 3: let people ten feet away from you in bigfoot country,
[15:11] Speaker 3: especially women, especially women on their period. So I'm there,
[15:15] Speaker 3: my girlfriend goes pete. We're like, okay, we're going to
[15:17] Speaker 3: go to bed now, or try to. So we lay
[15:21] Speaker 3: down and I had in my I prepared for the
[15:24] Speaker 3: possibility of a bigfoot encounter. I had a GoPro next
[15:28] Speaker 3: to me, had a one button mode, so I clicked
[15:30] Speaker 3: the button and it would just start up within a
[15:32] Speaker 3: second or two, and so I was ready just in
[15:35] Speaker 3: case something happened that I would turn on the go
[15:37] Speaker 3: pro right away. And I was like, whatever it is,
[15:39] Speaker 3: I'm going to encounter it if this happens. It was
[15:42] Speaker 3: very peaceful. We're laying down. I think probably about ten
[15:46] Speaker 3: to fifteen minutes go by. My heart's racing. I'm a
[15:48] Speaker 3: little scared because we're in such a remote place. I
[15:52] Speaker 3: don't think I'd ever slept in a place this remote.
[15:54] Speaker 3: It was. We're thirty miles from a town. I don't
[15:57] Speaker 3: even know if they have a thousand people Cave Johnson
[16:00] Speaker 3: hardly even a town. Do they even have a gas station? Maybe?
[16:03] Speaker 3: I don't know. It's so small and here we are.
[16:07] Speaker 3: I don't even know how to get out of this place.
[16:08] Speaker 3: Because I took all these forks and the huge boulders
[16:12] Speaker 3: and going around stuff. It was like, this is crazy.
[16:14] Speaker 3: We're deep and like, just somebody, go on your map,
[16:18] Speaker 3: go to Cave Junction and go twenty to thirty miles
[16:20] Speaker 3: west and you'll be like, whoa dude, it's just scary
[16:24] Speaker 3: going there. It's so wild, and once you get to
[16:27] Speaker 3: where we were, you can see how green and thicket
[16:30] Speaker 3: gets with the canyons. It's just such a perfect full
[16:32] Speaker 3: time ecosystem for them. So we're laying there in bed,
[16:36] Speaker 3: and I'm just starting to feel like, you know what,
[16:39] Speaker 3: maybe I will be able to sleep here. This is
[16:41] Speaker 3: actually really nice. And I'm listening to the forest. I'm
[16:44] Speaker 3: laying on my back, which actually would be an important factor.
[16:47] Speaker 3: I'm laying on my back and I'm listening to the
[16:50] Speaker 3: forest around us. There's leaf litter and twigs all through
[16:53] Speaker 3: the forest nearby, and I hear what sounds like something
[16:58] Speaker 3: very slowly walking in the forest, but I'm immediately trying
[17:03] Speaker 3: to justify it away. I'm like, no, it's not, it's
[17:05] Speaker 3: not it's a deer, it's a bird. Because birds can
[17:07] Speaker 3: actually make a lot of noise and they rustle around
[17:10] Speaker 3: and brushes and stuff. It can throw you off. So
[17:13] Speaker 3: I hear what sounds like something really big slowly walking
[17:19] Speaker 3: on the ground, Like it's if you're slowly walking on
[17:24] Speaker 3: a bunch of twigs and they're just slowly cracking. Right.
[17:27] Speaker 3: So I hear what sounds like an elephant trying to
[17:30] Speaker 3: ninja its way through the woods, and I'm just immediately
[17:32] Speaker 3: as it's happened, I'm going, no, this is it's not real.
[17:35] Speaker 3: Is that's just it's not what I think it is.
[17:38] Speaker 3: And it's like so I'm like and then it stops
[17:40] Speaker 3: and I go, Okay, that was weird. But it's nothing.
[17:43] Speaker 3: There's nothing. It is a deer. There's tons of deer.
[17:45] Speaker 3: They come by, they lick your clothes for salt, they
[17:47] Speaker 3: get close. This is a known thing, but it wasn't
[17:50] Speaker 3: like deer because hoofs they're like pitter patter, they're not
[17:53] Speaker 3: and they'll break some twigs. But this was strange. So
[17:57] Speaker 3: I'm laying there and I'm like, there's nothing. Yeah, there's nothing.
[18:02] Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, you know what I think I'm
[18:05] Speaker 3: gonna I think I'm gonna fall asleep. I'm gonna fall asleep.
[18:08] Speaker 3: And then oh boom boom boom, and I felt it
[18:14] Speaker 3: resonate the power of the stomps go through my body.
[18:18] Speaker 3: Because I was laying on my back. I could feel
[18:21] Speaker 3: the power of these stomps go through my body. And
[18:23] Speaker 3: it was very obviously something that was extremely powerful, extremely heavy, intentional, bipedal.
[18:32] Speaker 3: Unless there's two legged elephants out there in Oregon. The
[18:36] Speaker 3: most plausible thing immediately in my head was bigfoot is here?
[18:41] Speaker 3: Because what else could this be. I had already done
[18:45] Speaker 3: my research, I was in a bigfoot area. I had
[18:48] Speaker 3: done everything right or wrong, depending on the way you
[18:50] Speaker 3: look at it. And here I am, this thing's tiptoed,
[18:55] Speaker 3: and now it justifies, Oh my gosh, it was sneaking
[18:58] Speaker 3: up on us, and it's very close by. It has stomped,
[19:02] Speaker 3: and it was just like that boom boom, boom boom,
[19:05] Speaker 3: and it just through my body. I felt it. It
[19:10] Speaker 3: was just like I could see it with my mind,
[19:13] Speaker 3: just right there near us, looking at us, and I
[19:16] Speaker 3: just immediately my eyes welled up in tears. And I
[19:19] Speaker 3: turn on the GoPro and I have this video. I
[19:22] Speaker 3: had it posted. At one point, I took it down
[19:24] Speaker 3: and old channel, but I'm gonna repost it because this
[19:26] Speaker 3: is the video. Someone says I actually got Bigfoot on
[19:28] Speaker 3: the video. Very scary situation. I turn on the GoPro
[19:33] Speaker 3: and I just say, in a very cracked voice, Bigfoot,
[19:38] Speaker 3: He's here. And I'm just so scared because I'm like,
[19:42] Speaker 3: I'm gonna open this tent. I told myself, no matter what,
[19:45] Speaker 3: I'm opening the tent. So I have the GoPro on,
[19:47] Speaker 3: I have my headlamp on and I unzip the tent
[19:50] Speaker 3: and I look out into the forest and I start
[19:52] Speaker 3: scanning the forest from where I think the sound comes from.
[19:55] Speaker 3: These trees, maybe twenty thirty feet away. There's tons of them,
[19:59] Speaker 3: and I'm just looking at these trees, scanning them with
[20:01] Speaker 3: my camera and my light, and I'm just overwhelmed right now,
[20:05] Speaker 3: and I'm expecting there to be something, but there's so
[20:08] Speaker 3: many trees where this thing could hide, and we're just
[20:12] Speaker 3: so scared. My girlfriend goes, I don't want to be
[20:14] Speaker 3: here anymore. You hear on camera. I don't want to
[20:16] Speaker 3: be here anymore. Let's leave. I want to get out
[20:18] Speaker 3: of here. And we're just so scared because something's not right,
[20:22] Speaker 3: something is near us. And I had told her about Bigfoot,
[20:25] Speaker 3: and she's like, yeah, whatever, But at that moment she
[20:28] Speaker 3: realized we were in for more than we bargained for.
[20:31] Speaker 3: And I got what I came for, and I wasn't
[20:34] Speaker 3: ready for it. I wasn't ready for this experience. I
[20:38] Speaker 3: came ill prepared mentally. And I also felt like this
[20:42] Speaker 3: was I don't know, it didn't want us there. If
[20:44] Speaker 3: it's going to stomp like this, it's maybe telling us
[20:46] Speaker 3: to get out. But my girlfriend was scared. I was terrified.
[20:50] Speaker 3: We just we left half our camp there. I left
[20:53] Speaker 3: the camera on a log nearby with light shining on
[20:56] Speaker 3: us as we take down our camp. So there's a
[20:58] Speaker 3: video of us. The whole video is I get up
[21:01] Speaker 3: bigfoots here. I ends up the tent. I put the
[21:04] Speaker 3: camera off to the side. You see us. You can
[21:05] Speaker 3: see the forest in the background with light shining into it.
[21:09] Speaker 3: And for about five minutes, ten minutes, we're just throwing
[21:12] Speaker 3: stuff together, throwing it in the back of the car
[21:13] Speaker 3: as quickly as we can. And we just left a
[21:15] Speaker 3: bunch of stuff there too, and we just jump in
[21:18] Speaker 3: the car and we start heading out of there as
[21:20] Speaker 3: quickly as possible. I'm still rolling the camera. You can
[21:22] Speaker 3: see the drive out and some guy swears I have
[21:25] Speaker 3: a big foot on there. It's possible I do, but
[21:28] Speaker 3: I literally even when I posted the footage back then,
[21:32] Speaker 3: I didn't even go through it. I didn't even analyze
[21:34] Speaker 3: the footage. Now, with my better software, I could probably
[21:38] Speaker 3: change levels, contrasts, brightness and just combing through there and
[21:42] Speaker 3: see is there some little thing poking out? And we
[21:45] Speaker 3: were so scared. I hauled out of there and hear
[21:48] Speaker 3: broke the vehicle getting out of there, and we get
[21:51] Speaker 3: back to some tiny, little crummy motel out in Cave
[21:54] Speaker 3: Junction area, and we're just so full of adrenaline we
[21:57] Speaker 3: just we could. We didn't sleep that night. It was like,
[21:59] Speaker 3: oh my gosh, can you believe what happened? That was
[22:03] Speaker 3: crazy and it was exciting after the fact, but at
[22:07] Speaker 3: the time it was terrifying. And then we would have
[22:10] Speaker 3: several more encounters that trip, which I still don't consider encounters,
[22:15] Speaker 3: but I believe they probably were. During that road trip,
[22:18] Speaker 3: I would drive at night along remote forest roads and
[22:24] Speaker 3: I would drive slowly, and I would stop every couple
[22:26] Speaker 3: of miles and I'd take off my flip flops and
[22:29] Speaker 3: go whack, whack, whack, and I would just do that.
[22:32] Speaker 3: I'd do these and then i'd just wait and listen,
[22:35] Speaker 3: and I go, okay, let's get back in the car,
[22:37] Speaker 3: and we'd drive a couple of miles, i'd stop, I'd
[22:40] Speaker 3: whack whack whack. It sounded like rock clacks. It's just resonated.
[22:45] Speaker 3: It was disruptive. Several times I did this. There was
[22:48] Speaker 3: a couple incidences where this really caused an uproar, like instantly,
[22:54] Speaker 3: and I can't really explain what would make this sound
[22:58] Speaker 3: or why at that exact time, because there's a few
[23:01] Speaker 3: times where we were near the Oregon Caves and I
[23:04] Speaker 3: go whack whack what and almost right away it goes
[23:08] Speaker 3: waa wack whack whack, and it was like three different
[23:11] Speaker 3: directions around me, and I'm like, Okay, that's strange. I
[23:16] Speaker 3: think I have that on video too. And then that
[23:18] Speaker 3: was strange and I couldn't get them to go again.
[23:20] Speaker 3: So I held up an apple in the air because
[23:23] Speaker 3: I brought all these apples, and I put apples on
[23:25] Speaker 3: logs nearby, just as a good gesture in case they
[23:29] Speaker 3: were bigfoot. And so I did have some of those
[23:32] Speaker 3: encounters like that where I had some responses for my calls,
[23:37] Speaker 3: but it would be several years later until I had
[23:39] Speaker 3: my most intense encounter, which was a few years ago.
[23:44] Speaker 1: My goodness, I can't imagine. I'm trying to think real quick. Yeah,
[23:49] Speaker 1: this is really intense. That is extremely intense. How was
[23:52] Speaker 1: your girlfriend after all that for the rest of the trip.
[23:57] Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. She was full of life after that.
[23:59] Speaker 3: It woke her up to everything. I think it turned
[24:02] Speaker 3: her world upside down because that girlfriend she was from
[24:05] Speaker 3: a country where one of the few countries that maybe
[24:08] Speaker 3: has no bigfoot phenomena. I have to double check, but
[24:11] Speaker 3: I don't believe that part of eastern Europe is really
[24:15] Speaker 3: known for it. She had never heard of it. She
[24:18] Speaker 3: didn't believe me, and she was like, yeah, she just
[24:20] Speaker 3: was along for the ride, having a good time. But
[24:22] Speaker 3: that was the moment where she goes, Okay, this is
[24:24] Speaker 3: probably real. Something's going on. And my poor wife, gosh,
[24:29] Speaker 3: I dragged her on adventures and she's been to Hell
[24:31] Speaker 3: and back with me, and she doesn't even really want
[24:34] Speaker 3: to go to the woods after the things I've taken
[24:36] Speaker 3: her through.
[24:37] Speaker 2: Oh wow.
[24:38] Speaker 3: Yeah, that part of southern Oregon, though, if you look
[24:41] Speaker 3: at it, it's just really the perfect court or if
[24:43] Speaker 3: I were a Bigfoot I live there.
[24:45] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[24:46] Speaker 1: You mentioned Oregon Caves, and that is that areas I
[24:50] Speaker 1: believe is well known for doctor Matthew Johnson's sighting that happened.
[24:55] Speaker 1: I don't want to say it was about twenty years
[24:57] Speaker 1: ago now, So that's around the Oregon Caves area you
[25:00] Speaker 1: were talking about. And then there there's all sorts of
[25:03] Speaker 1: that area where you're talking about west of Cape Junction. Yeah, dude,
[25:07] Speaker 1: there is there's nothing out there. There's absolutely nothing out there,
[25:12] Speaker 1: and there's some wild stuff that happens. So after you
[25:17] Speaker 1: you're going along for the Bigfoot road trip and you're
[25:21] Speaker 1: hitting your flip flops and getting responses, was that the
[25:25] Speaker 1: wildest thing then that happened at the end of that trip.
[25:31] Speaker 3: The climax of the road trip was our I thing.
[25:34] Speaker 3: It was like our first night maybe or second I
[25:37] Speaker 3: was did a campground out around Ashland area or Grants
[25:40] Speaker 3: Pass actually, and then the second night is when we
[25:43] Speaker 3: went out to the Josephine Creek area. And yeah, that
[25:46] Speaker 3: was the climax of our road trip because feeling and
[25:49] Speaker 3: hearing the power, because Okay, now I have heard and
[25:52] Speaker 3: felt Bigfoot, and I just know in my head there
[25:56] Speaker 3: is nothing else this could be. I've had black bears,
[25:59] Speaker 3: grizzy bears, even polar bears around me. I've had the
[26:02] Speaker 3: biggest game, mountain lions, you name it. I've had it
[26:05] Speaker 3: very close to me. I'm aware of these behaviors and sound.
[26:09] Speaker 3: This thing was powerful. I could feel it through my body.
[26:13] Speaker 3: It was like it shook the forest, it shook the earth.
[26:16] Speaker 3: You could I could feel the tremors travel from its
[26:19] Speaker 3: feet through my body and bears they don't. They can't
[26:23] Speaker 3: even do that. They got these padded feet. They're not bipedal,
[26:26] Speaker 3: they're not heavy enough, they don't have any the ability
[26:29] Speaker 3: to do this. So I knew immediately this was Bigfoot,
[26:33] Speaker 3: and people, ah, yeah, you're biased. It's like, well, you
[26:36] Speaker 3: tell me what it was. Someone give me a good
[26:38] Speaker 3: explanation of what it was. The most plausible thing is
[26:41] Speaker 3: actually bigfoot. And so I knew right away it was Bigfoot.
[26:45] Speaker 3: That's why I said bigfoots here, and I knew Bigfoot
[26:48] Speaker 3: was right next to us at that point in time,
[26:50] Speaker 3: potentially several Absolutely.
[26:53] Speaker 1: It's tricky I think because I know a lot of
[26:56] Speaker 1: listeners right now are probably like, oh man, he's got
[26:59] Speaker 1: video and it's just hanging out, But guys like it.
[27:03] Speaker 1: When you're in a situation like this, it's very hard
[27:06] Speaker 1: because going through something that's very traumatic and a lot
[27:10] Speaker 1: of times I totally get it. You just don't want
[27:12] Speaker 1: to put yourself back in that situation. Have you ever
[27:16] Speaker 1: considered maybe like a YouTube channel where other people could
[27:20] Speaker 1: maybe even try to analyze it for you by watching.
[27:23] Speaker 2: It, or.
[27:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, to get back to what you're saying here, Yeah,
[27:28] Speaker 3: I will do that. I will repost this, but there's
[27:31] Speaker 3: a few reasons. There's several reasons why I haven't. I
[27:34] Speaker 3: had to take it down and I haven't put it
[27:36] Speaker 3: back up. One of the reasons, just one of them,
[27:38] Speaker 3: is the trauma, and that wasn't even the traumatic one.
[27:41] Speaker 3: That one is more so with the girlfriend. I have
[27:43] Speaker 3: to edit out her voice and her likeness because we're
[27:46] Speaker 3: no longer together. So I got to go through and
[27:48] Speaker 3: really comb through it and make sure I'm not revealing
[27:51] Speaker 3: the location. I mean whatever, I'll revealed it. At this point.
[27:53] Speaker 3: It's been long enough. I don't care for that one.
[27:56] Speaker 3: But the next encounter I had that I haven't talked
[27:58] Speaker 3: about this one is an extremely gold Riich area. I
[28:01] Speaker 3: found the best goal of my life, and now that
[28:04] Speaker 3: I've said that, I definitely can't to show it. But
[28:07] Speaker 3: people they just know it. They know me, and there's
[28:09] Speaker 3: a missing gap in my life from the prospecting community.
[28:12] Speaker 3: I stopped posting and I was focused on getting rich
[28:15] Speaker 3: on gold and that encounter I have to I'm spinning
[28:19] Speaker 3: the camera around revealing the location. There's monuments you can
[28:22] Speaker 3: very clearly. For prospectors, it's a small world. They know
[28:26] Speaker 3: the forest well, and you could just show a little
[28:28] Speaker 3: mountaintop and they'll know. So that area is even more challenging.
[28:33] Speaker 3: But if you look at my channel trailer on Adventure Person,
[28:35] Speaker 3: I have a small clip from that video and it's me,
[28:39] Speaker 3: and it's very unflattering, by the way, extremely unflattering of
[28:43] Speaker 3: me to show you like how serious I am that
[28:46] Speaker 3: this is real. You see me looking into the camera
[28:49] Speaker 3: and I'm crying and I look like crap, I got
[28:52] Speaker 3: big bags under my eyes because I'm so emotional, and
[28:55] Speaker 3: I just say, there's a bigfoot right over here. And
[28:58] Speaker 3: that's the only thing I've shown from that so far.
[29:01] Speaker 3: And I just released that like a week ago, and
[29:03] Speaker 3: it is part of a bigger compilation too. It's oh here,
[29:05] Speaker 3: I'm adventure Person, I'm exploring. I like to go do
[29:08] Speaker 3: epic stuff and oh yeah, I'm also into big foot
[29:11] Speaker 3: and paranormal stuff. Oh yeah, I'm also into this other stuff.
[29:13] Speaker 3: So it's just like a moment in there, but a
[29:16] Speaker 3: little teaser because it is something I will be pursuing
[29:20] Speaker 3: potentially for the rest of my life. So yeah, there's
[29:22] Speaker 3: a lot of reasons why I haven't shared this footage.
[29:24] Speaker 3: You got ex girlfriends, you have sensitive locations, legal implications,
[29:28] Speaker 3: you have, the trauma going and reliving it is intense.
[29:31] Speaker 3: It's hard for me to watch the footage. Even thinking
[29:34] Speaker 3: about doing this interview last night and brought back a
[29:37] Speaker 3: lot of emotions. I started to get chills and shivers,
[29:40] Speaker 3: kind of chewing, like Bigfoot hovering over me. And I
[29:43] Speaker 3: just know that my quest is not done regardless, and
[29:46] Speaker 3: I'm ready to embrace it now though, And that's why
[29:48] Speaker 3: I'm here, and I want to own this and I
[29:51] Speaker 3: want to share with people these experiences so they can
[29:54] Speaker 3: have the right frame of mind and approach this in
[29:56] Speaker 3: a serious way without getting hurt. Because I used to
[29:59] Speaker 3: think Bigfoot was one hundred percent benevolent and peaceful, but
[30:04] Speaker 3: it's not true. Bigfoot is mostly peaceful most of the time,
[30:08] Speaker 3: but when you don't listen to them, like the kids
[30:11] Speaker 3: in the Ural Mountains, did y'atlift pass into it. That's
[30:15] Speaker 3: what was going through my mind the most recent encounter
[30:18] Speaker 3: with my now wife, I was thinking, if we don't
[30:21] Speaker 3: leave right now, we might get killed. So when Bigfoot
[30:25] Speaker 3: yells at you, especially when they scream or do anything menacing,
[30:28] Speaker 3: you need to listen.
[30:30] Speaker 1: I agree with you, one hundred percent is extremely important
[30:33] Speaker 1: to listen and have the right intentions out there as well.
[30:37] Speaker 1: I think it's a huge part of it as well.
[30:39] Speaker 1: So you've gone, you went through all of these very
[30:43] Speaker 1: traumatic experiences with your girlfriend at the time and then,
[30:49] Speaker 1: but it didn't stop you. You kept going to try
[30:53] Speaker 1: to figure out what is all exactly going on with
[30:57] Speaker 1: this phenomenon. It sounds like things actually got more intense
[31:01] Speaker 1: as you went out there to have more experiences.
[31:06] Speaker 3: Yeah. I realized at that point in time that I
[31:08] Speaker 3: didn't even need to look for Bigfoot. I was going
[31:10] Speaker 3: to continue looking for gold, and sooner or later, Bigfoot
[31:13] Speaker 3: was going to find me again. And Bigfoot did find
[31:16] Speaker 3: me again some years later I was and now I'll
[31:19] Speaker 3: tell this story. This was my most recent encounter. This
[31:24] Speaker 3: was right before I went on the reality show Frozen Gold,
[31:26] Speaker 3: which most people probably know me for. It was shortly
[31:29] Speaker 3: before going on the show. This was I think the
[31:32] Speaker 3: year twenty twenty, right, I think it was the summer
[31:35] Speaker 3: of twenty twenty, and I grabbed my then girlfriend and
[31:40] Speaker 3: I'm like, we're going on an adventure. We're going to
[31:42] Speaker 3: the woods. This was a location I found accidentally and
[31:48] Speaker 3: it was unbelievable. The gold I found. It was the
[31:53] Speaker 3: stuff that people dream of. I had been looking for
[31:56] Speaker 3: gold for over a decade and I had If you
[31:59] Speaker 3: look at my chin tiler, I know what good gold
[32:01] Speaker 3: is because I have pants full of nuggets and pickers.
[32:04] Speaker 3: I know what good gold looks like. I have a
[32:06] Speaker 3: vial of nuggets right here to prove it, and lots
[32:09] Speaker 3: of gold right here, just to show you. It was
[32:12] Speaker 3: spectacular gold. And there's a reason why the gold was
[32:14] Speaker 3: so spectacular. This area had a history of encounters, and
[32:19] Speaker 3: encounters would follow my encounter as well from friends who
[32:21] Speaker 3: went to the same location and they didn't know about
[32:24] Speaker 3: my encounter either. They told me, and then I don't
[32:27] Speaker 3: even know if I told them. They just told me,
[32:29] Speaker 3: and I'm like, wow, that's crazy. They went to the
[32:31] Speaker 3: same area and had encounters and they were chased out
[32:34] Speaker 3: like I was. So we go to this place. I'll
[32:38] Speaker 3: tell you it's in Sierra County, California. And you look
[32:42] Speaker 3: at Sierra County, it's like the thickest woods, some of
[32:45] Speaker 3: the thickest woods in California, some of the biggest mountains,
[32:47] Speaker 3: some of the thickest woods as a whole, as a county.
[32:51] Speaker 3: And so we're out there in deep Tierra County. This
[32:54] Speaker 3: place is so remote. We're talking I don't even know
[32:58] Speaker 3: the closest town. You're so many hours from the closest town.
[33:02] Speaker 3: And then they're not even towns, they're just like Cave Junction,
[33:06] Speaker 3: like a tiny little I'm sorry, people of Cave Junction.
[33:09] Speaker 3: I'm sure I don't know enough about Cave Junction. I
[33:11] Speaker 3: was just looking at it. It still doesn't look very big.
[33:13] Speaker 3: It looks really small. So we are so remote that
[33:17] Speaker 3: we're going on this dirt road for a long time.
[33:20] Speaker 3: I had only been to this location once. It was
[33:23] Speaker 3: so overgrown, and I have this video of me driving
[33:26] Speaker 3: out there and these big branches going over the car,
[33:30] Speaker 3: and I'm just like, wow, people are not going out here.
[33:32] Speaker 3: And I even say something, I'm like, wow, it feels
[33:35] Speaker 3: like we might have a big foot encounter out here. Gosh,
[33:38] Speaker 3: that's crazy. Wow, that's a good place for bigfoot. And actually,
[33:41] Speaker 3: before we left for the trip, I had a sensation
[33:45] Speaker 3: and I couldn't put my finger on the sensation. I
[33:47] Speaker 3: was like, something's going to happen this trip. I don't
[33:49] Speaker 3: know what. Yeah, And I had learned to understand these
[33:54] Speaker 3: emotions to the point where I could tell how the
[33:57] Speaker 3: trip would go. I would just in my mind but
[34:01] Speaker 3: things ideas, and I'd hover over the idea, and if
[34:03] Speaker 3: I started to get the hair on my neck, I'd say,
[34:05] Speaker 3: that's what's gonna happen. I never thought about Bigfoot, but
[34:08] Speaker 3: I was like, am I gonna get injured? Am I
[34:10] Speaker 3: gonna find gold? And is someone with a gun gonna
[34:13] Speaker 3: threaten me? Like has happened? And it's like, no, I
[34:17] Speaker 3: think I'm gonna be okay. But something weird, Like I
[34:20] Speaker 3: just had this unnerving feeling before I even left, and
[34:24] Speaker 3: I'm like, something feels weird about this trip. So here
[34:26] Speaker 3: we are, We're going through the forest and I'm getting
[34:29] Speaker 3: that sensation again. I'm getting that I'm starting to get scared.
[34:32] Speaker 3: It's the middle of the day, but because of how
[34:34] Speaker 3: remote it is, I'm starting to get scared. And I'm
[34:37] Speaker 3: seeing how overgrown the road is. And I've been on
[34:39] Speaker 3: remote roads that are still groomed, but this one was
[34:43] Speaker 3: not groomed at all. Huge branches and brush all through
[34:45] Speaker 3: the road. And we get to this area where I
[34:49] Speaker 3: had been preparing for this. By the way, for years,
[34:51] Speaker 3: I've been preparing for this moment to mine this gold
[34:54] Speaker 3: for I don't know, three years since I found the gold,
[34:58] Speaker 3: because I needed the right equipment, and the equipment needed
[35:00] Speaker 3: to be specially made for that location and that material.
[35:04] Speaker 3: And so okay, I've got the equipment. It's in the
[35:06] Speaker 3: back of the car. We're going to get the gold
[35:08] Speaker 3: of our lifetime. You won't believe how rich this is, babe. Oh,
[35:12] Speaker 3: this is gonna be awesome. So I want to go
[35:15] Speaker 3: down there and sample one last time before I get
[35:17] Speaker 3: the equipment out of the car. So like, all right,
[35:20] Speaker 3: we've parked the car. We're in a little clearing. I'm
[35:22] Speaker 3: about one hundred feet in diameter, and everything else is
[35:25] Speaker 3: just thick forest and mountains for miles. There's creeks that
[35:29] Speaker 3: converge around us, like in the middle of bisecting creeks,
[35:33] Speaker 3: and then there's like a rugged road off to the side,
[35:37] Speaker 3: so we go down towards the creek. We get to
[35:41] Speaker 3: this hidden location. I don't want to reveal too many
[35:44] Speaker 3: details because prospectors are smart. They can figure this stuff out.
[35:47] Speaker 3: It's absolutely so.
[35:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely be careful.
[35:51] Speaker 3: So I don't want to reveal exactly. It's really easy
[35:54] Speaker 3: to reveal the location, and eventually I probably just will
[35:57] Speaker 3: I'll just say screw, I'll just dump the footage and
[35:59] Speaker 3: you guys go, I go, good luck with that gold.
[36:01] Speaker 3: And this goes to show you like how serious it was.
[36:04] Speaker 3: Because I haven't been back and I'm terrified to go back.
[36:07] Speaker 3: So we're going down this hillside and the place where
[36:11] Speaker 3: the gold is very specific. If I hadn't gotten this
[36:14] Speaker 3: one pan, I went and have realized how spectacularly rich
[36:18] Speaker 3: the area was. Everything else didn't pan out that well.
[36:21] Speaker 3: There are some flakes here and there that you wouldn't
[36:23] Speaker 3: think much of it. I probably did one hundred pins
[36:26] Speaker 3: in the area over my first trip with a buddy.
[36:29] Speaker 3: And so when I came back with my wife, here
[36:31] Speaker 3: we are, and we go, it's the place where the
[36:33] Speaker 3: gold is. It's like you have to go in there.
[36:36] Speaker 3: It's it's a cave. It was a cave. It wasn't.
[36:43] Speaker 3: It was a cave, and it was hidden. It was
[36:45] Speaker 3: really hard to find, and you could look for the
[36:48] Speaker 3: cave and not find it. It was up on a
[36:51] Speaker 3: hillside shrouded by brush. But when you open up the brush, boom,
[36:56] Speaker 3: there's a cave. And I was looking for the cave.
[36:59] Speaker 3: I had been there once before. I couldn't even find it.
[37:02] Speaker 3: It took me like an hour or so. I was
[37:05] Speaker 3: passing it multiple times. That's how hidden this cave is.
[37:08] Speaker 3: And so I'm like, all right, cool, let's go in.
[37:10] Speaker 3: There's go in the cave and it's like really dark
[37:14] Speaker 3: and lots of rocks and slimy and just full of
[37:18] Speaker 3: water puddles and stuff too, the groundwater seeping in there
[37:21] Speaker 3: and you're slashing through water and mud. And I get
[37:24] Speaker 3: in there and I hike into the cave. It goes
[37:26] Speaker 3: deep this cave. I didn't go to the end, but
[37:29] Speaker 3: I had hiked in a couple hundred feet and it's
[37:33] Speaker 3: just so dangerous in there, so slippery, there's a lot
[37:35] Speaker 3: of sharp stuff. It's crazy. And so I'm like, I
[37:39] Speaker 3: just want to verify the gold is where I thought
[37:41] Speaker 3: it was. The verify double check that it's as good
[37:44] Speaker 3: as I remember before I get the heavy equipment out
[37:46] Speaker 3: of the car, ike it down the hill, hike it
[37:49] Speaker 3: in the cave. This is gonna be a big painting.
[37:51] Speaker 3: So I'm like, all right, babe, Like I did the pan,
[37:54] Speaker 3: I'm like, boo, thousands of colors just exploding with gold
[37:57] Speaker 3: when you get the right layer of the material. Because
[38:00] Speaker 3: I had sampled even in the cave and there's nothing.
[38:02] Speaker 3: But then there's this one handful of material I found
[38:05] Speaker 3: hidden in the muck. And in the muck, hidden in
[38:09] Speaker 3: between layers was a layer of really dense clay. And
[38:14] Speaker 3: I took the clay and I'm rubbing it, I'm working it,
[38:17] Speaker 3: and it was just I'd never seen so much cold.
[38:19] Speaker 3: We're talking like tens of thousands of pieces of gold.
[38:22] Speaker 3: You call the color right. It was insane. It was
[38:26] Speaker 3: absolutely insane. It was old timer stuff we're talking about here,
[38:30] Speaker 3: And I'm like, wow, I was so excited. This is spectacular.
[38:36] Speaker 3: I had found lots of good gold and deposits, but
[38:39] Speaker 3: this was something else like this was something that could
[38:42] Speaker 3: make you rich. And I'm like, all right, it's here, babe,
[38:46] Speaker 3: we're doing it. We're getting this stuff out of the car.
[38:49] Speaker 3: And so we got out of the cave. We'd get
[38:51] Speaker 3: out of there, and we're hiking back up to we
[38:54] Speaker 3: have to hike out of the area, and we're actually
[38:58] Speaker 3: parked on top of the mountain. Cave was a bit
[39:01] Speaker 3: below on the mountain, and so unfortunately I've already revealed
[39:06] Speaker 3: this location. Some people are going to figure it out
[39:08] Speaker 3: and they'll probably but I don't at this point, I
[39:10] Speaker 3: don't even care because I want them to just I
[39:13] Speaker 3: just hope that I'm worried about the Bigfoot more than anything,
[39:16] Speaker 3: to be honest with you, because I know a lot
[39:18] Speaker 3: of people don't have the respect that you and me
[39:20] Speaker 3: have for him. They'll just be like, ah, screwed up
[39:23] Speaker 3: a monster and shooting at it. It's like, come on, man,
[39:25] Speaker 3: it's like shooting a person. Man. So I have a
[39:28] Speaker 3: lot of respect for him. So we're heading out of
[39:30] Speaker 3: the cave and we're going back to the car, and
[39:34] Speaker 3: just as requesting the top of the hill to go
[39:37] Speaker 3: towards the meadow, that's when I hear the first sound.
[39:40] Speaker 3: And it's before I tell you the sound. Let me
[39:44] Speaker 3: tell you. When I was a kid, I was in
[39:46] Speaker 3: Costa Rica, sleeping on the Turtle River El Rio Tortuguero,
[39:49] Speaker 3: and it was in the jungle, and I was with
[39:51] Speaker 3: my dad and at nighttime we heard the howler monkeys,
[39:55] Speaker 3: and so I remember exactly what the howler monkeys sound like.
[39:59] Speaker 3: I have that hole in Cow video with the howler monkeys,
[40:01] Speaker 3: and this was so much like a howler monkey. And
[40:06] Speaker 3: so the moment we're crusting up the hillside I hear,
[40:12] Speaker 3: and it was just so intense, so loud, and projected
[40:16] Speaker 3: right towards us from right behind us, maybe I don't know,
[40:19] Speaker 3: one hundred feet or something, and it sounded just like that.
[40:23] Speaker 3: It sounded just like an extremely loud, deep howler monkey.
[40:27] Speaker 3: And I had heard bigfoot recordings, I didn't hear anything
[40:31] Speaker 3: like this even but it was obviously ape like you
[40:34] Speaker 3: could hear it. It was very sounded a little monkey,
[40:37] Speaker 3: but with the depth and power of an ape, and
[40:41] Speaker 3: then had the raspy end. And the second I heard it,
[40:45] Speaker 3: my wife and I just look at each other and
[40:47] Speaker 3: I got the chills. And the timing of it was
[40:49] Speaker 3: perfect too, because we were crusting the hillside about to
[40:52] Speaker 3: get to the level area back to her car. That's
[40:54] Speaker 3: like the human area, right, that's where maybe if humans
[40:57] Speaker 3: go to the area, that's where they park. So on
[40:59] Speaker 3: my wow, the timing of that was weird too, so
[41:02] Speaker 3: a few seconds ago by it and I'm like, first,
[41:04] Speaker 3: I'm like, that was a bigfoot. Then I tell my
[41:06] Speaker 3: girlfriend like, no, it's nothing. It is our imagination dog,
[41:10] Speaker 3: It's just a person. I don't know. I just shrugged
[41:12] Speaker 3: it off. I'm like, it's not real. There's no bigfoot here.
[41:14] Speaker 3: Then it happened again, and I'm like, this sound like bigfoot.
[41:20] Speaker 3: That sound like bigfoot, and I'm like, okay, shrug it off.
[41:23] Speaker 3: I go back to the car and the forest goes
[41:26] Speaker 3: quiet and we're like okay. And I'm sitting there and
[41:29] Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, let's just think for a minute. If
[41:31] Speaker 3: I get out of sandwich, I start eating a sandwich.
[41:33] Speaker 3: The sun's starting to set, and I have to make
[41:36] Speaker 3: a decision quickly. I have to decide are we staying
[41:39] Speaker 3: here in mining and sleeping here, or are we leaving?
[41:43] Speaker 3: And I still wasn't convinced that we had a big foot,
[41:45] Speaker 3: and so I start eating the sandwich and I'm like, no,
[41:48] Speaker 3: it's a dog. Someone's out here with their dog. And
[41:52] Speaker 3: I try to convince myself that it's a dog, even
[41:54] Speaker 3: though it was very clearly an ape on a PA
[41:57] Speaker 3: system turned up to mac you know, like you know,
[42:01] Speaker 3: And so I'm like to try to convince myself that
[42:05] Speaker 3: this wasn't a dog. I go, you know what I'm
[42:07] Speaker 3: gonna go. I'm gonna sing. So I get up on
[42:09] Speaker 3: this log that's three feet tall. I stand up on
[42:12] Speaker 3: top of it with my sandwich, and I'm like, I
[42:14] Speaker 3: start singing some song from the radio. It was like
[42:16] Speaker 3: some cheesy pop song, and my voice bellows through the canyon.
[42:21] Speaker 3: I can hear my voice, oh, just echoing so well
[42:26] Speaker 3: through the canyon, and I'm like wow. And just as
[42:29] Speaker 3: I start singing, it erupts again just who And then
[42:34] Speaker 3: another one from because this one I'm hearing is this direction,
[42:39] Speaker 3: and then another one over here.
[42:42] Speaker 2: Wow.
[42:43] Speaker 3: My wife looks at me and I start to tear up.
[42:45] Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my gosh. She's like, I think you
[42:47] Speaker 3: pissed him off. I think I just accidentally antagonized Bigfoot.
[42:52] Speaker 3: But I at that point I realized something is totally
[42:55] Speaker 3: not right, and then I just the rest of it
[42:59] Speaker 3: just everything went so quickly from there. The sun was
[43:02] Speaker 3: setting very quickly. I'm looking at my wife. She's scared.
[43:05] Speaker 3: I'm scared. There's these strange sounds in the woods. There's
[43:09] Speaker 3: obviously eight and then they I just set in motion
[43:12] Speaker 3: a series of events where there's and then I'm like,
[43:18] Speaker 3: I have my camera rolling. Unfortunately, my phone was in
[43:20] Speaker 3: a case, in a thick case. There's completely covered, so
[43:24] Speaker 3: it totally screwed up the audio. Granted, even people with
[43:27] Speaker 3: parabolic mics say that. I don't know about the parabolic mics,
[43:30] Speaker 3: but a lot of audio systems don't record big foot
[43:33] Speaker 3: like I think. You need a very high end setup
[43:35] Speaker 3: to really capture anything that's close to what you actually
[43:38] Speaker 3: heard in the field. So I can hear the bass,
[43:41] Speaker 3: but when I've listened to the audio, I can barely
[43:43] Speaker 3: hear it. I need to try to boost it and
[43:45] Speaker 3: see what I can do, but I don't know. So
[43:48] Speaker 3: I'm sitting there, I've got my camera. I'm like, this
[43:50] Speaker 3: is crazy. I'm so scared. At that point, I'm starting
[43:52] Speaker 3: to real my head's just racing because things are going
[43:54] Speaker 3: so quickly. I have to make decisions. If we're gonna leave,
[43:57] Speaker 3: we have to leave quickly because the sun's setting. I
[43:59] Speaker 3: don't even know how to get out of this place.
[44:00] Speaker 3: There's no internet connection, the GPS doesn't work. And I
[44:04] Speaker 3: hear it row row, and then behind us and there
[44:09] Speaker 3: I can feel them. There's a triangle around us. I'm like, oh,
[44:12] Speaker 3: and then I can hear them moving. It's row and
[44:15] Speaker 3: now that one over here is over here. The one
[44:18] Speaker 3: over here is over here. They're moving so quickly, so
[44:22] Speaker 3: the one that was maybe let's call it five hundred
[44:24] Speaker 3: feet up to creek this way. A few seconds later,
[44:27] Speaker 3: it's five hundred up to creek this way. Either that
[44:30] Speaker 3: or there's so many of them, but there's at least
[44:33] Speaker 3: three of them, and they were forming a perfect triangle
[44:35] Speaker 3: around us. The one part that I wasn't hearing noise
[44:39] Speaker 3: was the exit, the place we were supposed to the place
[44:42] Speaker 3: we came in, the little rugged road, and so things
[44:46] Speaker 3: just were getting crazy. They were just screaming, insane, and
[44:54] Speaker 3: they were just they were moving and it was getting louder,
[44:57] Speaker 3: and they're getting closer, and I just look at my wife.
[45:00] Speaker 3: I realized at that point, this is we're not I'm
[45:02] Speaker 3: not mining today. There's no way I'm gonna mind today.
[45:05] Speaker 3: That was out of the question. At this point, I'm like,
[45:08] Speaker 3: I have an opportunity to get a video of Bigfoot.
[45:10] Speaker 3: And there's a little game trail that went down to
[45:13] Speaker 3: the creek. It was like a one hundred foot drop, and
[45:15] Speaker 3: I was like, if I run down there quietly on
[45:18] Speaker 3: the heels of my feet, I can run like a ninja.
[45:20] Speaker 3: I might be able to catch it off guard. And
[45:23] Speaker 3: so I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna run down real quick, babe,
[45:26] Speaker 3: and I'm gonna catch it off guard. Come on, follow me.
[45:28] Speaker 3: And I love her, but she's not very fast, she's
[45:31] Speaker 3: not nimble, she's not an outdoors person. She didn't grow
[45:34] Speaker 3: up running on rocks through rivers and creeks. She grew
[45:37] Speaker 3: up in another country, in a city. So I start
[45:40] Speaker 3: running down this road and I realized, there's no way
[45:44] Speaker 3: my girlfriend can keep up with me. She's terrified. I'm
[45:47] Speaker 3: about fifty feet down this game trail trying to cut
[45:49] Speaker 3: off the big Foot where I believe they are at
[45:51] Speaker 3: the creek, and I feel like I'm really close, and
[45:53] Speaker 3: I just realized, oh my gosh, I'm so worried about her.
[45:57] Speaker 3: And I jogged back up really quickly, and I look
[45:59] Speaker 3: at her and she's she's she's so scared. She's sweating,
[46:02] Speaker 3: she's covering dirt. She she doesn't know, and I'm just like,
[46:05] Speaker 3: I can't leave her here. She can't keep up with me.
[46:08] Speaker 3: And then I started to get these images of the
[46:10] Speaker 3: Dyotlift Pass incident because I had seen the autopsies, and
[46:15] Speaker 3: three people were bludgeoned to death by unknown forces, which
[46:19] Speaker 3: were most likely a bigfoot or several bigfoot, and I realized, Okay,
[46:23] Speaker 3: those kids were warned, and they didn't follow the warnings.
[46:26] Speaker 3: They were warned by the locals, the native people in
[46:29] Speaker 3: the area warned them, they go there, we don't go there.
[46:32] Speaker 3: That's for them. If you go there, you expect to
[46:35] Speaker 3: be killed, and especially if they warn you. And those
[46:38] Speaker 3: kids were warned they had encountered a big foot. They
[46:41] Speaker 3: even had a photo of one, and so that was
[46:43] Speaker 3: the last photo they had the kids at the Dyotlift Pass.
[46:46] Speaker 3: My point is that they were warned by the locals,
[46:49] Speaker 3: and they were warned by the bigfoot, and they didn't
[46:51] Speaker 3: heed the warnings and they all died. And this was
[46:54] Speaker 3: the biggest mass murder of bigfoot probably that we know of.
[46:58] Speaker 3: And nine people died murdered by bigfoot that the rest
[47:01] Speaker 3: were terrorized and forced into exposure deaths. So I'm having
[47:05] Speaker 3: that go through my head. I'm looking at my poor girlfriend.
[47:07] Speaker 3: I'm like, if I was there with a guy who
[47:09] Speaker 3: is into bigfoot, and he'd be like, yeah, let's go
[47:11] Speaker 3: to the creek. But she couldn't keep up. She's just
[47:14] Speaker 3: so scared. I felt so bad. I'm like, she's my responsibility,
[47:16] Speaker 3: Like I can't leave her here, and I'm just like, Babe,
[47:19] Speaker 3: we got to get out of here. We got to
[47:21] Speaker 3: get out of here. These things are screaming at us,
[47:23] Speaker 3: They're closing in on us. The sun is setting, and
[47:26] Speaker 3: we jump in the car and I'm just fish tailing
[47:29] Speaker 3: and freaking crashing into rocks and I just start high
[47:32] Speaker 3: tailing it out of there, and I am just so scared.
[47:36] Speaker 3: It took us forever to get in here, and we're
[47:38] Speaker 3: taking these roads. I'm trying to use the GPS, but
[47:41] Speaker 3: the signal comes in and out, and I felt like
[47:44] Speaker 3: we're making progress getting out of the area. This was
[47:47] Speaker 3: the scariest thing. This was like a nightmare. We thought
[47:49] Speaker 3: the nightmare had ended from all these terrible sounds triangulating
[47:55] Speaker 3: around us. But as we're leaving, we drive for an
[47:58] Speaker 3: hour through the dark, thick woods with brush through our car,
[48:02] Speaker 3: and I stopped the car and we're exactly where we
[48:05] Speaker 3: were an hour ago.
[48:07] Speaker 2: No way, and I'm like, oh, no, oh, bok.
[48:09] Speaker 3: Back to that happened. There's no way that could have happened.
[48:13] Speaker 3: It was like we're in a time warp. I'm like,
[48:15] Speaker 3: this is crazy. And it was such a scary thing
[48:17] Speaker 3: because we knew like they were in the area and
[48:19] Speaker 3: they could jump out to the car. They're going to
[48:21] Speaker 3: jump in front of us. I'm like, this is such
[48:23] Speaker 3: a nightmare. We just drove for an hour. We're running
[48:26] Speaker 3: along gas, we're terrified. We can barely see the road
[48:29] Speaker 3: it's so overgrown. And here we are, exactly where we
[48:33] Speaker 3: were an hour ago, driving through all these roads, taking
[48:35] Speaker 3: cut cut cut cut, driving through these scary, dark forest roads,
[48:40] Speaker 3: and here we are exactly where we were one hour
[48:43] Speaker 3: ago driving in these woods. It was the scariest thing.
[48:45] Speaker 3: We thought we were going crazy. It was like we
[48:47] Speaker 3: went through a freaking portal and we just wound up
[48:51] Speaker 3: right back where we were. And I had never had
[48:54] Speaker 3: that happen to me, because I have a pretty good
[48:56] Speaker 3: sense of direction. This has never happened to me in
[48:58] Speaker 3: the woods. So I'm not going to attribute that to Bigfoot,
[49:02] Speaker 3: even though they're known for these anomalies of time and
[49:06] Speaker 3: things like that. I'm not going to jump to that conclusion.
[49:09] Speaker 3: But I will say it was very strange that after
[49:12] Speaker 3: driving for an hour, I wound up exactly where I was.
[49:15] Speaker 3: I don't know how that happened.
[49:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely so.
[49:18] Speaker 3: Then I drove another hour and a half, two hours,
[49:21] Speaker 3: and we weren't there anymore. And then we got onto
[49:23] Speaker 3: some road we recognized and that was it.
[49:27] Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, dude.
[49:30] Speaker 3: But how let me ask you this, Jeremiah. And because
[49:34] Speaker 3: I know you've interviewed a lot of people, you've heard
[49:37] Speaker 3: a lot of stories, I've never heard or read of
[49:40] Speaker 3: an encounter where bigfoot make that kind of sounds like
[49:45] Speaker 3: this kind of like monkey monkey esque howler thing. I
[49:49] Speaker 3: know they've screamed at people, but it seemed rare, doesn't
[49:52] Speaker 3: it that they scream at you.
[49:55] Speaker 2: It happens, to be honest, it did happen.
[49:57] Speaker 1: It happened to me in at the William At National
[49:59] Speaker 1: Forest two summers ago. It is kind of rare, the
[50:02] Speaker 1: whole howler monkey. I've heard that from witnesses, not so
[50:07] Speaker 1: much on the show, and it's I don't hear it
[50:10] Speaker 1: a lot, but that is it's a good it's a
[50:13] Speaker 1: good example of what it can of what it can
[50:16] Speaker 1: sound like.
[50:16] Speaker 2: Absolutely yeah, yeah.
[50:19] Speaker 3: I mean it had the depth and the power of
[50:21] Speaker 3: what people described like a lion or something like. It
[50:23] Speaker 3: has the kind of guttural has a quick bit like
[50:27] Speaker 3: a lot of times it'll be like a longer. The
[50:29] Speaker 3: longer ones you hear this, more they go. But this
[50:35] Speaker 3: was totally different. This was very more primate esque. It
[50:38] Speaker 3: was just, you know, I had that raspy is a
[50:45] Speaker 3: deep guttural to a raspy end, and it was really loud.
[50:50] Speaker 3: It was super loud. So I felt like this was
[50:54] Speaker 3: a warning for us, a clear warning, you don't want
[50:57] Speaker 3: you here. Get out. I'm thinking of outleft past, and
[51:01] Speaker 3: I'm like, we might get murdered. We won't survive that.
[51:03] Speaker 3: I'm definitely not mining, I'm definitely not sleeping. I don't
[51:07] Speaker 3: have bigfoot equipment to cast or record them. I don't
[51:10] Speaker 3: have Ford looking in for red equipment. I wasn't ready
[51:13] Speaker 3: for anything. I wasn't ready to mine. I wasn't ready
[51:16] Speaker 3: for bigfoot. I wasn't ready to sleep there. So it
[51:18] Speaker 3: was like, we just have to leave for our lives.
[51:21] Speaker 3: That's what we did. But you know what, so sometime
[51:24] Speaker 3: after my encounter, it was not long, it must have
[51:27] Speaker 3: been only a matter of weeks, a couple close prospector
[51:31] Speaker 3: actually was a close friend of mine. He was he
[51:34] Speaker 3: bought and sold, claims he still does it. He told
[51:37] Speaker 3: me a story. Gosh, I keep revealing the location more
[51:40] Speaker 3: and more. It's all good whatever. I just hope that
[51:44] Speaker 3: they have respect for Bigfoot and don't shoot it for
[51:47] Speaker 3: if they do find this. I just hope that people
[51:49] Speaker 3: recognize that they are dangerous. There's tons of them. If
[51:52] Speaker 3: you do shoot one, there's still several there to back
[51:54] Speaker 3: them up. You're probably not going to escape with your life,
[51:57] Speaker 3: and if you do, your god forsaken murder and everyone's
[52:00] Speaker 3: gonna hate you. Who knows that bigfoot's real because you've
[52:03] Speaker 3: shot essentially a person. Just keep that in mind. But
[52:06] Speaker 3: I want people to know that before I get into this.
[52:09] Speaker 3: So other people had encounters in the same area. It was.
[52:14] Speaker 3: This guy tells me a story. I hadn't even told
[52:16] Speaker 3: him my story, and he goes, yeah, I sent these
[52:17] Speaker 3: guys to look at a claim in this canyon and
[52:20] Speaker 3: they had to leave because something was like screaming at
[52:24] Speaker 3: him and throwing stuff at him. And he says, they
[52:26] Speaker 3: think it's Bigfoot, and he laughed it off. All of
[52:29] Speaker 3: those crazy guys, Oh my gosh. And I'm like, I
[52:32] Speaker 3: didn't tell him anything, but I'm like, wow, I was
[52:34] Speaker 3: in the same canyon. I had the same thing happened
[52:37] Speaker 3: to me, And I believe there are historic encounters in
[52:44] Speaker 3: the area. In BFRORO database, there's a couple and these
[52:48] Speaker 3: are and gosh it's and then there was. So you
[52:53] Speaker 3: have a history of encounters going back to the eighteen hundreds,
[52:57] Speaker 3: and then you have my encounter, and then you have
[52:58] Speaker 3: people right after me who encounters and they're all intimidating
[53:02] Speaker 3: encounters for me. That says, obviously they want you out,
[53:07] Speaker 3: but they want you out for a reason. You're intruding
[53:09] Speaker 3: on their resources. You're in their backyard, you're in their
[53:11] Speaker 3: living room. It's where they hunt, they eat their food,
[53:14] Speaker 3: they recreate whatever. That area did have encounters after me
[53:18] Speaker 3: as well. In fact, one of the encounters it was, Yeah,
[53:22] Speaker 3: this guy hurt himself trying to run away from the Bigfoot.
[53:24] Speaker 3: He like broke his ankle or something.
[53:26] Speaker 2: Oh man, wow, yeah.
[53:28] Speaker 3: And get this. After my first encounter in Oregon, where
[53:32] Speaker 3: the boom outside my attach, I told two prospect her
[53:36] Speaker 3: friends of mine, my friend Eric and my friend Sam,
[53:38] Speaker 3: God bless him Sam, and they laughed at me. We're
[53:41] Speaker 3: about to go on some hike to go get gold
[53:43] Speaker 3: deep in some canyon in Plaster County, California. We went
[53:47] Speaker 3: to this place all the time together, and so I
[53:49] Speaker 3: told him about the encounter. I think is at the
[53:51] Speaker 3: end of the day and they go, oh, you're still
[53:53] Speaker 3: full of crap. Bigfoot's not real. Bigfoot's not real. And
[53:56] Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, fine, I don't care what you
[53:58] Speaker 3: guys think, but just promise me that if you guys
[54:00] Speaker 3: have an encounter, you give me a call. And guess what,
[54:04] Speaker 3: less than three months later, I got that call. And
[54:07] Speaker 3: I'm jealous because but I'm happy it happened to them
[54:10] Speaker 3: because they were so skeptical of me. They were hiking
[54:13] Speaker 3: out of this canyon that we had been to, all
[54:15] Speaker 3: of us several times. We were going there just about
[54:17] Speaker 3: every week, and they were hiking out of the area.
[54:20] Speaker 3: The sun's going down. There's this trail and there's a
[54:25] Speaker 3: on one side is a cliff like this steep, and
[54:28] Speaker 3: it's just full of thick manzanita. And then there's a
[54:31] Speaker 3: little trail and then there's a thick full of manzanita
[54:36] Speaker 3: so thick you're not going a foot into that thing.
[54:39] Speaker 3: So it's impossibly steep on both sides, way too thick
[54:42] Speaker 3: with manzanita on both sides, And these guys are hiking
[54:45] Speaker 3: out of there, and all of a sudden, a nine
[54:49] Speaker 3: foot ape man walks right in front of him and
[54:52] Speaker 3: crossing the trail and just it just goes up the
[54:55] Speaker 3: super impossibly steep just pops up. It takes like a
[54:59] Speaker 3: step across the road. It takes another step, and it
[55:01] Speaker 3: disappears in the manzanita. And they saw it clear as day,
[55:04] Speaker 3: maybe three hundred feet in front of him, and they
[55:06] Speaker 3: were so scared because they had to pass where it
[55:09] Speaker 3: was and where it went into was like the thickest
[55:12] Speaker 3: part of the forest too, And it was just so
[55:15] Speaker 3: thick with manzanita. We're talking like as big as manzanita
[55:19] Speaker 3: can get, as thick as they can get. You can't
[55:21] Speaker 3: see into it. I mean, that stuff is so sharp
[55:23] Speaker 3: it'll cut you open. So they saw a big foot,
[55:26] Speaker 3: and he didn't want to say you're right. I didn't
[55:28] Speaker 3: need to hear it. I knew I was right because
[55:31] Speaker 3: I was just happy he saw it and he knew
[55:33] Speaker 3: something was up. And keep in mind, me and this
[55:35] Speaker 3: guy had seen something up on a hillside, shaking a bush,
[55:38] Speaker 3: a figure. And even then I wasn't saying, oh it
[55:41] Speaker 3: was bigfoot. It was bigfoot. It takes a lot for
[55:43] Speaker 3: me to say for sure, that's bigfoot. So those guys
[55:46] Speaker 3: saw it. But also a friend from Oregon who was
[55:49] Speaker 3: a prospector. We'd been talking regularly and this guy grew
[55:53] Speaker 3: up in Oregon, southern Oregon, and I talked to him
[55:57] Speaker 3: and we're talking about prospecting. I said, man, I had
[55:59] Speaker 3: this bigfoot encounter. And he goes, yeah, I'm not going
[56:01] Speaker 3: to say it's not real, but because most my friends
[56:03] Speaker 3: have had encounters, but it's probably real, I don't know.
[56:07] Speaker 3: And I said, you know what, just tell me when
[56:09] Speaker 3: you have an encounter, because I believe you will, because
[56:11] Speaker 3: you're a prospector in southern Oregon. Just give me a call,
[56:14] Speaker 3: could you. And he goes, yeah, sure. Guess what. A
[56:18] Speaker 3: couple months later, I got that call and he goes, bro.
[56:21] Speaker 3: He goes, bro, you're right, he's real. He walked right
[56:24] Speaker 3: in front of my car in the middle of the day.
[56:27] Speaker 3: He's driving on some forest road or something, and right
[56:30] Speaker 3: across in front of his car just and he was
[56:34] Speaker 3: looking at it for ten seconds. He's just so in shock,
[56:38] Speaker 3: but he's just watches the stade and he's going through
[56:40] Speaker 3: the trees and he's like, yeah, dude, I saw a bigfoot.
[56:43] Speaker 3: I'm like happy for them. But I will say another
[56:48] Speaker 3: reason why I didn't share these encounters is because I
[56:51] Speaker 3: felt like they weren't good enough. I felt like I
[56:54] Speaker 3: didn't have class A. And I feel like there's definitely
[56:57] Speaker 3: huge emphasis on class A, and some people don't want
[57:01] Speaker 3: to hear from you if you have had a Class B.
[57:03] Speaker 3: They're like, eh, we don't care. We put more emphasis
[57:05] Speaker 3: on what we see. I felt it with three senses.
[57:09] Speaker 3: Someone who just saw had one sense. I heard it.
[57:13] Speaker 3: I felt it, okay, maybe just two senses, okay, because
[57:17] Speaker 3: I felt it go through my body and I've heard
[57:19] Speaker 3: its power from its voice. I've heard the power of
[57:21] Speaker 3: its footsteps. But and yeah, I may have seen one,
[57:25] Speaker 3: but it wasn't like clear. So this is another reason
[57:29] Speaker 3: why I haven't shared it till now, is because I'm like,
[57:32] Speaker 3: I'm maybe a little ashamed or something like you get
[57:34] Speaker 3: all these people with class a's and I'm like, I
[57:37] Speaker 3: didn't have a Class A, but I felt like I
[57:39] Speaker 3: had good class B encounters that were totally legitimate.
[57:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of people in the community that'll
[57:47] Speaker 1: be like, oh, I didn't say anything, man. I know
[57:51] Speaker 1: some shows that are like, it's only class a's, but see,
[57:54] Speaker 1: the thing is like I do this show so that
[57:56] Speaker 1: people have been infected, even if they just heard something.
[58:00] Speaker 1: And a lot of times people just need a place
[58:03] Speaker 1: to share what they've experienced to people that aren't going
[58:07] Speaker 1: to make fun of them. And that's why I do
[58:09] Speaker 1: this show. But Eric, would you ever want to get
[58:13] Speaker 1: to the point where you would have a visual sighting?
[58:16] Speaker 1: Have you had that discuss as?
[58:18] Speaker 3: Absolutely? I think I've gone back and forth about dedicating
[58:22] Speaker 3: myself to that, and I'm finally at the point where
[58:24] Speaker 3: I say, you know what, I'm ready to do that.
[58:26] Speaker 3: I'm ready to postpone all my gold stuff full and
[58:30] Speaker 3: focus full time on getting my class as. So that
[58:33] Speaker 3: way I can tell people I've heard him, I felt him,
[58:36] Speaker 3: and I've seen him. But for all the class as
[58:39] Speaker 3: I haven't had, my people I know have had. And
[58:44] Speaker 3: it's just crazy. It's just there's so many stories of
[58:48] Speaker 3: other people I know. There's my two friends, you don't
[58:51] Speaker 3: believe me. There's the organ guy. And then check this out.
[58:55] Speaker 3: This area along the American River, very remote area. A
[58:59] Speaker 3: prospector from him. We were talking regularly and he had
[59:04] Speaker 3: just gotten onto really good gold. He had just found
[59:06] Speaker 3: a ten gram nugget with his buddy. He's beautiful and
[59:10] Speaker 3: they just found the nugget and all of a sudden,
[59:14] Speaker 3: something up in the woods above them on the hillside
[59:16] Speaker 3: starts screaming and throwing trees down at him, and I
[59:20] Speaker 3: believe he had the visual of a large figure and
[59:24] Speaker 3: it was throwing giant logs down in their direction. And
[59:28] Speaker 3: they never went back ever, And this was the best
[59:32] Speaker 3: goal they found. I'm telling you about the best gold
[59:35] Speaker 3: I ever found, and I haven't been back, and this
[59:37] Speaker 3: is life changing gold. I'm terrified to go back, Like
[59:41] Speaker 3: they warned me, They're gonna kill me if I go back.
[59:43] Speaker 3: They warned me once, like, why would I go back?
[59:45] Speaker 3: Gold's not worth your life. Granted, I thought, like I
[59:49] Speaker 3: could go back and get evidence, and I would do that,
[59:52] Speaker 3: but it's got to be the right person. I don't
[59:54] Speaker 3: have that right person. I'll go back with a bigfooter
[59:56] Speaker 3: who's yeah, I love and respect bigfoot. If they are aggressive,
[1:00:00] Speaker 3: leave but just the same kind of mindset that I'm
[1:00:03] Speaker 3: going to have going into it. But at the same
[1:00:05] Speaker 3: time I go, I'll not to just go somewhere and
[1:00:08] Speaker 3: start fresh. I know there's plenty of bigfoot around here,
[1:00:11] Speaker 3: and I know there are because I have so many
[1:00:13] Speaker 3: more encounters that i'ven't been told including the friend of
[1:00:17] Speaker 3: a friend. He's a hiker explorer somewhere. He actually really
[1:00:23] Speaker 3: didn't want to give away the location, so I'll respect him.
[1:00:26] Speaker 3: Let's just say it's near Lake Tahoe. It's very close
[1:00:29] Speaker 3: to Lake Talk. He was hiking on along the ridges
[1:00:32] Speaker 3: of Lake Tahoe and he came across a cave, and
[1:00:36] Speaker 3: out of the cave came a bigfoot. It walked right
[1:00:39] Speaker 3: out and he saw things like things hanging up like deer,
[1:00:44] Speaker 3: like pieces of deer meat and stuff like that or something.
[1:00:48] Speaker 3: And he saw a bigfoot and it chased him out
[1:00:50] Speaker 3: of there. And he doesn't like talking about it, doesn't
[1:00:55] Speaker 3: like revealing details because he's actually and you'll see this
[1:00:58] Speaker 3: a lot, which I'm sure you've seen a lot. It's
[1:01:00] Speaker 3: really funny as people are really protective about the bigfoot.
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
[1:01:06] Speaker 3: During yeah, during my road trip, my Bigfoot road trip,
[1:01:09] Speaker 3: I stopped at Happy Camp, total totally out of the way,
[1:01:13] Speaker 3: but it's such a great place to go. And so
[1:01:15] Speaker 3: I interviewed the people at the person who owns the
[1:01:17] Speaker 3: general store. They collect all the encounters. They're like you,
[1:01:20] Speaker 3: and so she this person had all these encounters and
[1:01:24] Speaker 3: from people in the area, and there were people there
[1:01:27] Speaker 3: who were feeding the bigfoot, leaving them apples and having
[1:01:31] Speaker 3: some form of interaction. It wasn't like here's an apple,
[1:01:33] Speaker 3: they hand it. It's yeah, they leave it hanging from
[1:01:36] Speaker 3: a tree and they see them come and get it
[1:01:38] Speaker 3: at night. And these people, some of them have Bigfoot
[1:01:41] Speaker 3: sleeping in their property, like they see him sleeping there.
[1:01:46] Speaker 3: And these are just some chill whatever, elderly people just
[1:01:49] Speaker 3: like feeding the birds. And they're like they respect and
[1:01:52] Speaker 3: love the bigfoot so much that they don't want to
[1:01:54] Speaker 3: go on camera. They don't want to get interviewed, and
[1:01:57] Speaker 3: they won't tell you where they live. And so I
[1:01:59] Speaker 3: quickly earn that, and I've experienced that for myself because
[1:02:03] Speaker 3: I have a reverence for bigfoot and they're pretty good
[1:02:06] Speaker 3: at taking care of themselves. But I know that there
[1:02:09] Speaker 3: are people, malicious people who could potentially kill them or
[1:02:13] Speaker 3: harm them. And it always bugs me when I hear
[1:02:15] Speaker 3: people shooting them. I always hate hearing that because I
[1:02:18] Speaker 3: feel like it doesn't do any good. Just all you
[1:02:20] Speaker 3: did is ruin the life of this thing that don't
[1:02:22] Speaker 3: want you there. It's like you break into my living
[1:02:24] Speaker 3: room and then you shoot me. But I'm like, I
[1:02:28] Speaker 3: get out of my house. I have found that to
[1:02:31] Speaker 3: be the case. And then family, friends and people I've
[1:02:34] Speaker 3: met who have had encounters and they didn't even know
[1:02:36] Speaker 3: they had encounters. For example, my dad was telling me like, oh,
[1:02:40] Speaker 3: it's not real, So I know, why are you doing this?
[1:02:42] Speaker 3: Why A You're wasting your time? And I'm like, Dad,
[1:02:44] Speaker 3: I bet you've had an encounter and you don't even
[1:02:47] Speaker 3: know it. For example, maybe you're in the woods one
[1:02:49] Speaker 3: time and you just heard some sound or a rock
[1:02:51] Speaker 3: or something. I'm like, Dad, was there any time in
[1:02:54] Speaker 3: the woods ever in your life where you heard something
[1:02:56] Speaker 3: that you couldn't put your finger on? And I just
[1:02:59] Speaker 3: didn't waited and I saw him and he's thinking, and
[1:03:02] Speaker 3: then all of a sudden, he started to get teary
[1:03:03] Speaker 3: eyed and he started to cry. And he does not cry.
[1:03:06] Speaker 3: I never see my dad cry. And he starts to cry,
[1:03:09] Speaker 3: and he goes and he tells me a story I
[1:03:11] Speaker 3: only heard that one time. I somehow got him into it.
[1:03:15] Speaker 3: He recalled something from when he was five years old.
[1:03:18] Speaker 3: He was in the woods with his father Idaho. I
[1:03:21] Speaker 3: think it was deep woods and they're hunting. His father
[1:03:24] Speaker 3: was asleep snoring, really loudly, and he's there, wide awake
[1:03:29] Speaker 3: and he hears this really loud, terrifying scream. So I
[1:03:34] Speaker 3: play for my dad sounds recordings of Bigfoot and he
[1:03:38] Speaker 3: just he says, turned that off. I don't want to
[1:03:40] Speaker 3: hear it, and he gets so emotional. I knew I
[1:03:43] Speaker 3: hit a nerve. It was one of those recordings I
[1:03:45] Speaker 3: forget the name of it. It was like the Ohio
[1:03:47] Speaker 3: one where it's like sure because what he explained was
[1:03:53] Speaker 3: this like loud guttural projecting, long sustained roar, which is
[1:03:58] Speaker 3: really indicative of I think this intimidation roar that they have,
[1:04:02] Speaker 3: which they have a recording of, And I just hit
[1:04:05] Speaker 3: the nail on the head and he so triggered. And
[1:04:08] Speaker 3: to this day I haven't heard this story again, but
[1:04:10] Speaker 3: I believe my dad had a big Foot encounter. Didn't
[1:04:13] Speaker 3: even know it. It was deep in his brain. And
[1:04:16] Speaker 3: I picked that up. And the better one I heard
[1:04:20] Speaker 3: was a girl locally working at grocery outlet. This high
[1:04:23] Speaker 3: school girl, it's sixteen or something, grew up in this
[1:04:26] Speaker 3: place I live now a Dayton, Nevada, and she and
[1:04:29] Speaker 3: I'm talking to her. I don't know how it got
[1:04:31] Speaker 3: out I'm like, yeah, I'm like going out in the
[1:04:32] Speaker 3: woods doing crazy stuff, looking for paranormal stuff or something.
[1:04:35] Speaker 3: I don't know how it came up, but she's like, yeah,
[1:04:37] Speaker 3: I was at the cemetery last week with my friends
[1:04:39] Speaker 3: and we were like hanging out and it was dark,
[1:04:41] Speaker 3: and something was like chasing us out of there, and
[1:04:43] Speaker 3: I'm like interesting, So I started asking questions. Could you
[1:04:48] Speaker 3: see this outline? She goes, yeah, I saw a really
[1:04:51] Speaker 3: dark outline. I'm like, there at a cemetery, so I'm
[1:04:54] Speaker 3: thinking it was a shadow person. Let's rule out shadow person. Okay,
[1:04:58] Speaker 3: when it chased out you, did you hear it stomping?
[1:05:02] Speaker 3: Did you hear its footfall? She goes yes, ding ding, Okay,
[1:05:08] Speaker 3: this thing was like nine feet tall, very big, loud footfall,
[1:05:12] Speaker 3: and right behind her was a huge mountain full of caves.
[1:05:16] Speaker 3: That mountain is right behind me. It's a mountain with
[1:05:20] Speaker 3: man made caves and natural caves. The place is so rugged.
[1:05:24] Speaker 3: People who try to go up there in a jeep clip.
[1:05:28] Speaker 3: I know a guy who had to flip too jeep
[1:05:29] Speaker 3: going this is how rugged this mountain is. This is
[1:05:31] Speaker 3: almost it's almost impossible to get And I can't wait
[1:05:34] Speaker 3: to do some investigations there and look for caves. But
[1:05:37] Speaker 3: I believe that this girl had an encounter with a
[1:05:40] Speaker 3: bigfoot and she didn't even know it.
[1:05:44] Speaker 2: My goodness.
[1:05:45] Speaker 1: So yeah, you literally have places you can go to
[1:05:48] Speaker 1: in your backyard.
[1:05:49] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[1:05:51] Speaker 3: Yeah. In fact, this claim I was looking at buying
[1:05:54] Speaker 3: a couple of years ago. The guy who is selling
[1:05:57] Speaker 3: the claim was looking at claims in the same area,
[1:06:01] Speaker 3: and it was the middle of the day. He was
[1:06:03] Speaker 3: with his partner and the guy selling the claims, and
[1:06:05] Speaker 3: they're in the edge of the woods in Plumus County,
[1:06:08] Speaker 3: middle of the day, a little clearing area where people
[1:06:10] Speaker 3: are mining, and they're talking about the claim and the ground,
[1:06:15] Speaker 3: and all of a sudden, something starts screaming at him
[1:06:18] Speaker 3: from the woods, and they're so scared they pack up
[1:06:21] Speaker 3: and they get out of there, and they don't get
[1:06:22] Speaker 3: the claim. And so literally every single person I know
[1:06:28] Speaker 3: who's been looking for gold for a period of time
[1:06:30] Speaker 3: in the deep woods has had an encounter. It's those
[1:06:34] Speaker 3: who have had an encounter and those who have not
[1:06:36] Speaker 3: yet had an encounter. And usually they don't have it
[1:06:38] Speaker 3: because they're unlucky or they just they're in the wrong places.
[1:06:42] Speaker 3: They're doing the wrong things. They're not everywhere. You just
[1:06:47] Speaker 3: you got to be in the right place the right time.
[1:06:49] Speaker 3: But if you spend enough time in the deep woods,
[1:06:51] Speaker 3: like they'll come find you. It's just a matter of time.
[1:06:55] Speaker 3: Like we were saying earlier, the gold and the Bigfoot,
[1:06:58] Speaker 3: they're in the same place. Yeah, the untouched gold is
[1:07:02] Speaker 3: in remote canyons where you can't get cars, and those
[1:07:05] Speaker 3: are the same places where Bigfoot live. Like remote places
[1:07:08] Speaker 3: of a Feather River canyon, for example, there's a lot
[1:07:10] Speaker 3: of encounters out there. It's along the PCT, the heavily
[1:07:14] Speaker 3: forested most remote section of the Feather River. They're all
[1:07:18] Speaker 3: over the place. I actually believe they're way more extensive
[1:07:21] Speaker 3: than we think. Like someone I know has seen the
[1:07:26] Speaker 3: bones of the red giants at the Lovelock Museum decades ago.
[1:07:31] Speaker 3: Now they since removed those bones from exhibit exactly, And
[1:07:36] Speaker 3: someone has reported seeing what appears to be a red
[1:07:40] Speaker 3: giant from the cave. That the Indians had a battle
[1:07:43] Speaker 3: with these if I'm sure you're aware of this. The
[1:07:46] Speaker 3: natives in the area and the apes what are they called,
[1:07:49] Speaker 3: the red giants were abducting the Indians and they had
[1:07:52] Speaker 3: what they called the war one of the many wars
[1:07:54] Speaker 3: between Bigfoot and natives throughout the US. So they tried
[1:07:58] Speaker 3: to burn, smoke them out, burnt them down. And if
[1:08:00] Speaker 3: you look at the evidence that they have giant like tools,
[1:08:04] Speaker 3: huge like flip flops and stuff like I don't know
[1:08:06] Speaker 3: if they're flip flops, but woven braided like sandals that
[1:08:10] Speaker 3: are like huge. So there's a lot of evidence to
[1:08:13] Speaker 3: back this up. There were bones, I believe there still
[1:08:15] Speaker 3: may be bones associated with those red giants from the cave.
[1:08:19] Speaker 3: They went in there and they found bones. But now
[1:08:21] Speaker 3: the bones aren't on display anymore in Lovelock for some reason.
[1:08:24] Speaker 3: They're just that place doesn't display them.
[1:08:26] Speaker 1: I've heard that as well. It's very strange my would
[1:08:29] Speaker 1: those be taken away?
[1:08:30] Speaker 2: Who knows?
[1:08:31] Speaker 1: Maybe someone has an idea, but may eric you're really
[1:08:34] Speaker 1: going after it. I cannot even imagine where things are
[1:08:38] Speaker 1: gonna take you next. It sounds like pretty close to
[1:08:42] Speaker 1: where you're at, but you are going to be going
[1:08:44] Speaker 1: after it.
[1:08:45] Speaker 2: It's so amazing.
[1:08:47] Speaker 1: You are going to put the gold, the gold digging
[1:08:51] Speaker 1: on hold until you get what you're looking for. Regarding Bigfoot,
[1:08:57] Speaker 1: that is cool.
[1:08:58] Speaker 3: The truth is that when I look I get these
[1:09:00] Speaker 3: two things. Going to get rich on gold, which I've done.
[1:09:04] Speaker 3: I did eventually succeed in getting spectacular gold, just not there.
[1:09:08] Speaker 3: I see gold as a selfish activity because it's I'm
[1:09:11] Speaker 3: getting gold for me. Oh yeah, you can watch me
[1:09:13] Speaker 3: or whatever. But that's still a selfish thing. But going
[1:09:16] Speaker 3: out there to seek the truth that betters mankind, the
[1:09:20] Speaker 3: knowledge of us, our existence and this unknown ape primate
[1:09:24] Speaker 3: of the woods, that is some much more of a
[1:09:26] Speaker 3: noble quest, and to me it's one of the most
[1:09:28] Speaker 3: fascinating things in the world. So do you believe Bigfoot's
[1:09:31] Speaker 3: more or less always going to be there? And the
[1:09:32] Speaker 3: gold will too. But for me, I have unfinished business.
[1:09:35] Speaker 3: And now I think I've been reawakened because I started
[1:09:38] Speaker 3: reading this book by Meldrum. And for people who haven't
[1:09:45] Speaker 3: read this, Meldrum is too scientific to say it, but
[1:09:49] Speaker 3: this is proof of Bigfoot. If you know nothing about
[1:09:52] Speaker 3: Bigfoot and you read this book, it has so many
[1:09:55] Speaker 3: layers of evidence and proof that Bigfoot is real, undeniable,
[1:09:59] Speaker 3: unhoaxable evidence. Granted, I was pretty much aware of a
[1:10:03] Speaker 3: lot of stuff in there, but there's so much in
[1:10:05] Speaker 3: there I was not aware of. Even more layers of credibility,
[1:10:09] Speaker 3: of science, of analyzes of these events, situations, tracks. People
[1:10:14] Speaker 3: don't even realize Patterson Gimlin had tracks associated with it too.
[1:10:19] Speaker 3: So even if you could do the impossible and recreate
[1:10:22] Speaker 3: this highly sophisticated suit, which we still don't have the
[1:10:24] Speaker 3: technology to create, you still can't create the casts. Nobody
[1:10:29] Speaker 3: can create a cast. No one that we don't have
[1:10:33] Speaker 3: the ability to replicate the detail of these casts. I
[1:10:36] Speaker 3: love that book. It stirred it back in me, and
[1:10:38] Speaker 3: that's where I'm talking to you again. I'm like, you
[1:10:40] Speaker 3: know what I got to finish when I started. I
[1:10:43] Speaker 3: don't know if there's an end to this quest, but
[1:10:45] Speaker 3: certainly seeing a bigfoot, I'm tired of people downplaying my encounter.
[1:10:50] Speaker 3: If I were to tell someone, I know they're going
[1:10:52] Speaker 3: to downplay it because did you see it, dude? I
[1:10:55] Speaker 3: guarantee if anyone was with me, they would know that
[1:10:59] Speaker 3: it very least it was something they couldn't explain, but
[1:11:03] Speaker 3: most likely they would attribute it to a bigfoot too,
[1:11:06] Speaker 3: because it's easy to just be on the armchair quarterback.
[1:11:10] Speaker 3: That's not bigfoot, right exactly? You being the tent with
[1:11:13] Speaker 3: me and you feel this power going through your body,
[1:11:16] Speaker 3: you hear, the screams projecting at you, the speed, the sounds,
[1:11:20] Speaker 3: the shaking, like all these things combined, like you can't
[1:11:24] Speaker 3: replicate this. It's real. Bigfoot is real, and this is real.
[1:11:28] Speaker 3: So I know I have to see one, and I
[1:11:30] Speaker 3: actually believe it's not hard to see one too. I
[1:11:33] Speaker 3: believe there's a lot of them out there. They have
[1:11:35] Speaker 3: to most of the time. They have to want you
[1:11:37] Speaker 3: to see them. From what it seems, they usually let you.
[1:11:41] Speaker 3: Sometimes they get caught off guard. Let me say another thing.
[1:11:45] Speaker 3: I was on this reality show Frozen Gold and we
[1:11:49] Speaker 3: were more or less all prospect or some of us
[1:11:51] Speaker 3: not so much. But we had all spent our lives
[1:11:54] Speaker 3: in deep remote locations. And I believe there's one person
[1:11:58] Speaker 3: I didn't ask about it. Everybody, but one person I
[1:12:02] Speaker 3: know had Bigfoot encounters and yow, and during the whole
[1:12:08] Speaker 3: side thing that when we were in Greenland, we had
[1:12:11] Speaker 3: so many other paranormal encounters. It was crazy. So literally,
[1:12:16] Speaker 3: this one person was in Oregon, lived in Oregon when
[1:12:20] Speaker 3: she grew up, and she saw Bigfoot twice. And then
[1:12:23] Speaker 3: these twins on the show, they had an encounter and
[1:12:27] Speaker 3: they didn't know it. I had to explain to them
[1:12:28] Speaker 3: that they did because they were going into this location.
[1:12:32] Speaker 3: And then they smelled like an on off switch of trash.
[1:12:36] Speaker 3: It was like boom, all of a sudden, wet dog, trash,
[1:12:40] Speaker 3: the same thing. Everyone says, Oh, it smelled like a
[1:12:41] Speaker 3: wet dog and smelled really pungent, and they heard these
[1:12:44] Speaker 3: like weird whistles and stuff. And I'm like, you got
[1:12:47] Speaker 3: a big Foot encounter. You didn't even know it, but
[1:12:49] Speaker 3: you had an encounter that's exactly totally exemplary of what
[1:12:53] Speaker 3: bigfoot do. They have this musk land, they can turn
[1:12:55] Speaker 3: it off like a switch, and that's what they had
[1:12:58] Speaker 3: happened where it was like they and these people were
[1:13:02] Speaker 3: super sensitive, like they've had so many paranormal encounters, and
[1:13:07] Speaker 3: I think these people lend themselves to these types of
[1:13:09] Speaker 3: encounters too, And so they had the sensation and then
[1:13:14] Speaker 3: there's the trash smell, and they had the whistles. And
[1:13:16] Speaker 3: then this other guy almost hit one with his car.
[1:13:19] Speaker 3: Oh trip, Yeah, the River Lapp guy, Christian. That dude
[1:13:24] Speaker 3: was I don't know where he was driving. He lives
[1:13:26] Speaker 3: up and he lives in way northern California, like around
[1:13:28] Speaker 3: Weed or something like that.
[1:13:30] Speaker 2: Oh, Shasta.
[1:13:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, somewhere around there, I think, and he says
[1:13:34] Speaker 3: he almost hit one with his car.
[1:13:35] Speaker 2: I don't. Yeah, absolutely in that area. Yeah.
[1:13:39] Speaker 3: So literally everybody who spends their time in the woods prospecting,
[1:13:44] Speaker 3: they get encounters. It's just such a perfect combination to
[1:13:47] Speaker 3: have a big foot encounter.
[1:13:49] Speaker 1: Eric, I love it. This is an incredible conversation. Has
[1:13:52] Speaker 1: really opened my eyes even more so to the world
[1:13:56] Speaker 1: of prospecting in bigfoot. Thank you for sharing your outs
[1:14:00] Speaker 1: and your stories.
[1:14:01] Speaker 2: On the show.
[1:14:02] Speaker 1: Please keep us up to date with your quest to
[1:14:05] Speaker 1: get more information and to have that visual in the future.
[1:14:09] Speaker 1: And can you share a little bit about how people
[1:14:12] Speaker 1: can You've got the channel that just started up, so
[1:14:15] Speaker 1: people can check that out, and you had mentioned that earlier.
[1:14:19] Speaker 3: I'm trying to this is more of a lifestyle channel
[1:14:21] Speaker 3: I've got. I've sorted like twelve channels over the past
[1:14:23] Speaker 3: fifteen years and just keep trying different stuff. And it's
[1:14:27] Speaker 3: not a big foot channel. I don't know if I
[1:14:28] Speaker 3: want to commit to a big foot channel. This is
[1:14:30] Speaker 3: an adventure channel. I go out. I have adventures of
[1:14:34] Speaker 3: all sorts, including gold, bigfoot, or just cool animal encounters,
[1:14:39] Speaker 3: swimming with sharks, hanging out with grizzly bears or rattlesnakes.
[1:14:43] Speaker 3: So it's not a big Foot channel, but I do
[1:14:45] Speaker 3: plan it on having a percentage of Bigfoot content ongoing.
[1:14:49] Speaker 3: I do feel like at this point I want to
[1:14:51] Speaker 3: just put it out there and say, look, this is
[1:14:53] Speaker 3: why Bigfoot's real. Here's my encounters. But it's not a
[1:14:56] Speaker 3: big Foot channel, so people can hit me up if
[1:14:59] Speaker 3: they want. But and I will be doing Bigfoot content
[1:15:02] Speaker 3: and I'm definitely gonna hit you up when I see.
[1:15:04] Speaker 2: One yet call, I'll say it right back to you.
[1:15:07] Speaker 3: I think the best story ever of Bigfoot, personally, I
[1:15:10] Speaker 3: think is of a prospector, and that's Albert Oustman.
[1:15:13] Speaker 2: Oh sure, yeah, classic, that's.
[1:15:15] Speaker 3: The best story there is. And the information he gave
[1:15:18] Speaker 3: in there. People not know how many details he gave
[1:15:22] Speaker 3: that predated modern primatology, that was then corroborated by Jane
[1:15:27] Speaker 3: Goodall's findings with the chips, things like the size of
[1:15:31] Speaker 3: their penis and what it looked like. And people are oh,
[1:15:35] Speaker 3: big Bigfoot, big dick. No, Bigfoot has a very small penis,
[1:15:39] Speaker 3: just like the gorillas. Because if you had a large
[1:15:40] Speaker 3: penis and huge swinging ball, it's gonna get caught in
[1:15:43] Speaker 3: those mans Anita, so they have a big time any
[1:15:46] Speaker 3: I believe, and he saw things like that. He details
[1:15:50] Speaker 3: smell the smell of the breath like honey, and then
[1:15:53] Speaker 3: there's some signs behind that as well. But Albert Osman,
[1:15:56] Speaker 3: that was real. He was a prospector carried off in
[1:15:59] Speaker 3: the night Innesle. People who haven't seen that encounter, they
[1:16:02] Speaker 3: got to look that up. I think he even attested
[1:16:05] Speaker 3: to it on his deathbed, as I recall.
[1:16:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, as signed AffA David as well. Yeah, it's a classic.
[1:16:11] Speaker 1: You can read about it. Bigfoot Encounters dot Com has
[1:16:14] Speaker 1: it on there. You can find it in a few
[1:16:15] Speaker 1: books too. Yeah, it's a very good one. But Eric Man,
[1:16:19] Speaker 1: thank you so much for hanging out. I'll have I'll
[1:16:21] Speaker 1: have the link to the channel your channel in the
[1:16:24] Speaker 1: show notes for this episode, so people can check that
[1:16:26] Speaker 1: out if they want. And yeah, keep us in the loop.
[1:16:29] Speaker 1: And thank you so much for coming on today.
[1:16:31] Speaker 3: Man, Hey, I appreciate what you're doing. Jeremiah, thank you
[1:16:34] Speaker 3: for having me on here. I appreciate it.
[1:16:38] Speaker 1: Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something
[1:16:41] Speaker 1: directly to a very specific group of listeners. If you're
[1:16:44] Speaker 1: in the military, any branch or forces, and if you've
[1:16:48] Speaker 1: seen something that no one can explain, or if you're
[1:16:51] Speaker 1: a National Park ranger or forestreet worker who's been told
[1:16:54] Speaker 1: to stay quiet, if you're a pilot who's seen something
[1:16:57] Speaker 1: strange down on the ground, or if you're with the
[1:17:01] Speaker 1: FBI a federal agency, or working intelligence and you stumbled
[1:17:04] Speaker 1: upon something you're not allowed to talk about. And if
[1:17:07] Speaker 1: you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue responder who's
[1:17:11] Speaker 1: heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense. If
[1:17:15] Speaker 1: you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field
[1:17:18] Speaker 1: or a trucker with government contracts and you've had something
[1:17:21] Speaker 1: happen that you've never told a soul. And if you're
[1:17:25] Speaker 1: a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under
[1:17:29] Speaker 1: contract who has found evidence you're not allowed to report.
[1:17:33] Speaker 1: If you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a
[1:17:35] Speaker 1: spiritual retreat and you saw something that shook your faith,
[1:17:39] Speaker 1: or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA, or
[1:17:43] Speaker 1: anything with clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't,
[1:17:47] Speaker 1: then I want to talk to you, even if it's anonymous.
[1:17:53] Speaker 1: You can reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.

[1:18:05] Speaker 1: We've got the mic. See you in the woods. Thank
