A hunter's quiet evening near Tennessee's Natchez Trace Parkway turns unforgettable after an impossible roar erupts across the hills moments after a pack of coyotes falls silent. Jeremy shares the encounter that changed the way he looks at the woods forever, along with the mystery of a wounded deer that vanished without explanation, strange voices heard deep in the Tennessee backcountry, and stories passed down by generations of hunters. You'll also hear firsthand encounters from Kentucky, Wisconsin, British Columbia, and another corner of Tennessee featuring chest-shaking vocalizations, massive footprints, Indigenous Sasquatch traditions, mysterious lights, and unexplained activity witnessed by people who never expected to become part of the Bigfoot conversation. Every story adds another piece to one of the greatest mysteries still hiding in the forests of North America. 📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here: https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? [0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Big for Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
[0:03] Speaker 1: In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to
[0:05] Speaker 1: bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've
[0:08] Speaker 1: seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers
[0:12] Speaker 1: to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: So stay with us. Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers
[0:33] Speaker 1: as he continues his fight against cancer. For more updates
[0:37] Speaker 1: about his medical journey, please go to the carring Bridge
[0:40] Speaker 1: link in the show notes. Thank you all right, Big
[0:44] Speaker 1: for Society, You've got the privilege of talking to Jeremy today.
[0:47] Speaker 1: Jeremy's individual with an interesting thing that happened to him
[0:50] Speaker 1: down in Tennessee a few things about Jeremy's Christian music educator,
[0:56] Speaker 1: outdoorsman and a member of the Army National Guards. So
[0:59] Speaker 1: thank you for your service, sir, and thank you for
[1:02] Speaker 1: coming onto the show. Jeremy and I also know that you.
[1:06] Speaker 1: I think you got introduced to the show. Uh you
[1:11] Speaker 1: heard me over on Blurry Creatures, which is a great podcast, right.
[1:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard you talking about the Ohio flap on
[1:19] Speaker 2: on Blurry Creatures. You know, it's like, I need this
[1:21] Speaker 2: listen to this guy so I can hear you know,
[1:23] Speaker 2: more straight forward big Bigfoot stories.
[1:25] Speaker 1: So absolutely, I'm glad you were able to come and
[1:29] Speaker 1: check that out. We had actually a few people come
[1:31] Speaker 1: over from that that. I mean, those guys, Nate and
[1:34] Speaker 1: Luke are great guys. If you're listening to this and
[1:37] Speaker 1: you want to have and how would you, I would say,
[1:41] Speaker 1: if you want to know about the weirdness of the
[1:45] Speaker 1: world from a biblical perspective, that's pretty amazing. Check out
[1:50] Speaker 1: that podcast. If you're not already, most of my listeners
[1:54] Speaker 1: are probably listening though.
[1:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, they're They're great.
[1:57] Speaker 1: They're very they are great. They're great. Jermy, is there
[2:00] Speaker 1: anything else that you would want the listeners to know
[2:03] Speaker 1: about you before we get started?
[2:07] Speaker 2: No, just that you know, covered it in bio and
[2:10] Speaker 2: then I have just a quick you know, I have
[2:13] Speaker 2: a seven year old daughter that you know, she wants
[2:16] Speaker 2: to she wants to tell Bigfoot about Jesus so we're
[2:21] Speaker 2: having those conversations all the time. So when I get
[2:24] Speaker 2: presents for Father's Day and everything, it's usually bigfoot things.
[2:26] Speaker 2: And she has lots of questions, so this will be
[2:29] Speaker 2: fun for her to listen to as well.
[2:30] Speaker 1: Hey, that's amazing, I mean, why not. Really? It reminds
[2:35] Speaker 1: me of there's a series of interviews on I think
[2:42] Speaker 1: it's Bigfoot World Radio with Duke on YouTube, okay, and
[2:49] Speaker 1: it's a store. It's this an interview back and forth
[2:51] Speaker 1: with the guy who have this these interactions with a
[2:54] Speaker 1: big foot named glag And from what I remember, it's
[2:58] Speaker 1: been a while since I've heard it, but there was
[3:01] Speaker 1: there's a whole section of it where he is actually
[3:06] Speaker 1: like reading the Bible to glide and there's a lot
[3:08] Speaker 1: of like really interesting things going on there. So I
[3:11] Speaker 1: can't remember if it's appropriate for little kids, so check
[3:13] Speaker 1: it out first yourself, right, but there might be something
[3:17] Speaker 1: actually already out there where you know. That's the whole thing.
[3:20] Speaker 1: It's like, what's bigfoot? Can bigfoot get saved? Is if
[3:25] Speaker 1: it's just an animal, you know, or or if it's
[3:29] Speaker 1: like it's part human. I mean, that's that's a whole
[3:32] Speaker 1: wild conversation and I could see that. I'm sure that
[3:37] Speaker 1: conversation has been brought up on Blurred creatures. I haven't
[3:40] Speaker 1: listened to every episode. I'm sure they've they've broached that subject,
[3:43] Speaker 1: but so so Jeremy. You are down there in the
[3:47] Speaker 1: great state of Tennessee.
[3:48] Speaker 2: Correct, that's right.
[3:50] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, I will tell you what that state is.
[3:53] Speaker 1: Weird as I'll get out. I was down there in April.
[3:56] Speaker 1: I had some weird stuff happened. Dude. I was like,
[4:00] Speaker 1: I was in this one state park. We were surrounded
[4:02] Speaker 1: by orbs. The orbs were coming towards us. I was like,
[4:05] Speaker 1: those have got to be fireflies. No fireflies, there were orbs.
[4:10] Speaker 1: That was my first time. And then the whole like
[4:13] Speaker 1: hearing voices at another state park we were hanging out
[4:17] Speaker 1: and around. That was I've never that was weird as
[4:20] Speaker 1: I'll get out.
[4:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if I'd have been able to
[4:23] Speaker 2: hang around. I remember you talking about in one of
[4:27] Speaker 2: the shows hearing somebody say come here.
[4:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was out in the woods. I was out
[4:32] Speaker 1: in the woods during expedition. I was by myself and
[4:34] Speaker 1: I heard someone something, someone say come here from around
[4:38] Speaker 1: the corner. And then in my cabin when I was
[4:41] Speaker 1: almost asleep, someone or something say gotcha and I was like,
[4:44] Speaker 1: oh my.
[4:45] Speaker 2: Goodness, Yeah, I'm not.
[4:47] Speaker 1: Playing No, no, absolutely not. It's a really active area.
[4:51] Speaker 1: But but Jeremy, you know, we're saying you're from Tennessee,
[4:56] Speaker 1: and so that's the groundwork that yeah, if you don't know,
[4:58] Speaker 1: Tennessee is weird. It's not spacific Northwest, but it is
[5:01] Speaker 1: full of weirdness that happens there. So so are you
[5:08] Speaker 1: an individual journey where you Bigfoot's been a part of
[5:11] Speaker 1: your entire life or did this thing we're about to
[5:14] Speaker 1: launch and to get you involved with the Bigfoot talking.
[5:19] Speaker 2: So I've always been interested in, you know, all things paranormal.
[5:24] Speaker 2: I think in college was when the show ghost Unners
[5:27] Speaker 2: came out, so I was a big watcher of ghost
[5:31] Speaker 2: Hunters and I liked there we'll say scientific approach, like
[5:34] Speaker 2: whether that was for TV or not, you know. And
[5:39] Speaker 2: I remember in elementary school picking up any books I
[5:41] Speaker 2: could on mysterious UFOs, bigfoot, ghosts and things like that.
[5:46] Speaker 2: So it's always been an interest, but always just kind
[5:49] Speaker 2: of watch the TV shows, hear the stories, be entertained,
[5:54] Speaker 2: be open minded and think, oh, is this something that
[5:58] Speaker 2: could be out there. It's like, I can't defenditive say
[6:01] Speaker 2: yes or no, but you know, always open to the possibility,
[6:05] Speaker 2: you know. But in taking the media around Bigfoot and
[6:09] Speaker 2: things like that, when I had this experience, was that
[6:12] Speaker 2: kind of was a ay oh, and you talk about
[6:16] Speaker 2: Tennessee being a weird state. Didn't really realize it until
[6:21] Speaker 2: kind of this happened. I kind of was deep diving
[6:25] Speaker 2: into things and going, oh, Tennessee is weird. Between the
[6:29] Speaker 2: Smoky Mountains, Cumberland Plateau, all the caves, land between the lakes,
[6:35] Speaker 2: I don't know. You turn me Merkel over at the Confessions.
[6:38] Speaker 2: He's done a lot of stuff at about LBL and
[6:41] Speaker 2: I used to I remember because I'm a hunter. I
[6:45] Speaker 2: remember the potential when I was young of going and
[6:48] Speaker 2: doing a draw hunt, a hunt and land between the lakes.
[6:51] Speaker 2: And I listened to some of that stuff and I go, man,
[6:54] Speaker 2: I'm I'm kind of glad I didn't, you know, take
[6:58] Speaker 2: up those opportunities to go hunt and bal because there's
[7:01] Speaker 2: some stuff going on up there. So all that to say,
[7:04] Speaker 2: it's been present, but it's not something I've just always
[7:07] Speaker 2: been like, oh, got to get more Bigfoot. It's just
[7:11] Speaker 2: been it's almost been more of an entertainment. It's been like,
[7:14] Speaker 2: you know, finding Bigfoot. I love. I actually really like
[7:18] Speaker 2: the show Expedition Bigfoot, both for entertainment value and for
[7:21] Speaker 2: the stuff they catch. So yeah, it's it's been present,
[7:26] Speaker 2: but until this actual experience made me start thinking about
[7:30] Speaker 2: things earlier in life that happened and say, oh, I
[7:35] Speaker 2: think I have a different perspective.
[7:37] Speaker 1: On those now very very interesting ghost hunters. That's not
[7:41] Speaker 1: the Zach Begins one, right, I'm not super ghosty.
[7:44] Speaker 2: So so there was I think there was Ghost Adventures,
[7:49] Speaker 2: which that one, that one I didn't like as much,
[7:53] Speaker 2: and you know, I watched it being a Christian. Ghost
[7:58] Speaker 2: Hunters was just more of a and empirical we're looking
[8:01] Speaker 2: for evidence things. I think Zach is Ghost Adventures. They're
[8:05] Speaker 2: more calling out entities and saying things, and I didn't
[8:09] Speaker 2: like that being audible in my house. Yeah, yeah, so
[8:15] Speaker 2: I tried that a little bit, like when my wife
[8:18] Speaker 2: and I before we had our daughter, I got back
[8:20] Speaker 2: into Ghost Adventures and I was like, maybe a week
[8:24] Speaker 2: or two of watching that, I was like, I I'm
[8:27] Speaker 2: not feeling right about having an audible voice calling out
[8:31] Speaker 2: entities inside my home, and my wife wasn't big on
[8:35] Speaker 2: that either, so it was like, I'm gonna, I'm gonna
[8:37] Speaker 2: turn that one off. And I really don't watch We
[8:40] Speaker 2: really don't watch any like ghost stuff anymore. I'm more
[8:44] Speaker 2: sticking to cryptids, you know. As far as what I'm watching,
[8:47] Speaker 2: a Skinwalker ranch, that's that's pretty intriguing. Yeah, And so
[8:53] Speaker 2: those kind of more like looking for evidence rather than
[8:58] Speaker 2: seeking to call out spiritual action even if it is
[9:02] Speaker 2: you know, even if there is some TV magic in there,
[9:06] Speaker 2: and you know, ah, there's a real there is a
[9:10] Speaker 2: real spiritual realm, right, and that with the things you
[9:14] Speaker 2: call out, they they do have effects, even if someone
[9:18] Speaker 2: might be doing it not necessarily believing something's going to
[9:23] Speaker 2: happen for entertainment value. Uh, those words have meaning. And yeah,
[9:28] Speaker 2: so I trying to stay away from those kind of things.
[9:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's smart. So as man as a
[9:34] Speaker 1: Christian in Tennessee, then there's some actual areas that are
[9:39] Speaker 1: really charged up and known for for weird paranormal things.
[9:43] Speaker 1: Do you actually, man, I'm thinking of one in particular,
[9:47] Speaker 1: like the bell Witch Cave. Oh yeah, what what is that?
[9:51] Speaker 1: Something where you like, maybe maybe I'll check that out
[9:53] Speaker 1: or is it something where you like, I don't think
[9:55] Speaker 1: I'll actually check that out.
[9:57] Speaker 2: And you know, this is you know, it's kind of
[9:59] Speaker 2: getting and in the weeds about you know a little
[10:01] Speaker 2: other stuff, but this is interesting. So my grandmother she
[10:05] Speaker 2: got super obsessed with the bel witch and did a
[10:11] Speaker 2: lot of research on that. And I would say in
[10:15] Speaker 2: my family, there's been you know, being a Christian, but
[10:20] Speaker 2: then the spiritual side of things, there's been some interesting
[10:23] Speaker 2: like almost like psychic nature of stuff where you know,
[10:31] Speaker 2: I'll have family members that will say, well, a former
[10:34] Speaker 2: relative came to me in a dream and told me
[10:36] Speaker 2: this thing that came true. And originally I was just like, okay, cool,
[10:42] Speaker 2: that's kind of wild. And then now as I've grown
[10:44] Speaker 2: in my Christian walking and study and studying the spiritual
[10:47] Speaker 2: nature of things as well, I'm like, oh, when we
[10:52] Speaker 2: look at you know, in the Bible, when Saul called
[10:55] Speaker 2: gets the witch of Indoor to call up, I'm like, oh,
[10:58] Speaker 2: this is something we should do. So I'd like to
[11:01] Speaker 2: tell the family member, hey, you know, you see your
[11:05] Speaker 2: great grandmother, but I don't think that's your great grandmother.
[11:09] Speaker 2: And just because they're telling you things that are true,
[11:11] Speaker 2: does not validate that that's who you think it is.
[11:14] Speaker 2: So I think we need to like hold up. So
[11:17] Speaker 2: going back to the bell Wich, I think a lot
[11:20] Speaker 2: of that obsession with the occult in my grandmother kind
[11:24] Speaker 2: of had some you know, negative maybe negative spiritual effects
[11:29] Speaker 2: regarding that. And then I had you know, other family
[11:35] Speaker 2: that I have one family member that would say she
[11:37] Speaker 2: is haunted because it doesn't matter where she moves. There's
[11:41] Speaker 2: something there, so you know that. So for me, for
[11:46] Speaker 2: Belwich and stuff like that, I'm like, I I am
[11:49] Speaker 2: interested to learn about it as someone studying that thing,
[11:52] Speaker 2: but I'm not going to go there because again, the
[11:56] Speaker 2: spiritual stuff is real, and I don't want to go
[12:02] Speaker 2: there and just be attached to something.
[12:04] Speaker 1: That you know, right exactly.
[12:07] Speaker 2: It was.
[12:07] Speaker 1: Man, when I was down Tennessee, I think, yeah, I
[12:12] Speaker 1: realized that I was actually not that far away from it,
[12:16] Speaker 1: and I had to have a little I had to
[12:18] Speaker 1: think it through. I was like, oh, I don't think
[12:20] Speaker 1: I want to even the stuff I've seen in like
[12:23] Speaker 1: Small Town Monsters documentary, I'm like, I don't want to
[12:25] Speaker 1: want to play those games, like you know, and they're
[12:28] Speaker 1: not games, right. So if you if you do decide
[12:31] Speaker 1: to go there. That's that's on you and that's cool,
[12:34] Speaker 1: but yeah, not going to do that. So you know
[12:39] Speaker 1: that was that was a bit of a rapper trail.
[12:40] Speaker 1: I think it's an important conversation, but so I'm interested
[12:44] Speaker 1: to hear then you know what you your experience was
[12:48] Speaker 1: that you had in Tennessee and how that played out.
[12:52] Speaker 2: Okay, cool? Yeah, And it's interesting because you know, when
[12:54] Speaker 2: I originally thought about this, and I've been listening to podcasts.
[12:57] Speaker 2: I'm a music teacher, so my my our time is
[13:01] Speaker 2: podcast it's not music because sometimes you got to step
[13:03] Speaker 2: away from music when it's your life. And so you know,
[13:09] Speaker 2: I was like, this is not that big of a deal,
[13:12] Speaker 2: and I don't you know, I tell people and you know,
[13:17] Speaker 2: people roll their eyes and stuff, and it's not like
[13:19] Speaker 2: I feel persecuted or anything. It's just that it's Originally
[13:24] Speaker 2: to me, it was a small instance. But then when
[13:26] Speaker 2: I kind of put everything together, it's like, well, I'll
[13:28] Speaker 2: just email fear Mayer and letting him decide if it's
[13:33] Speaker 2: kind of worth telling. So I'm glad to be here.
[13:35] Speaker 2: So we'll start back in twenty seventeen. I had a
[13:41] Speaker 2: brother in law. You purchase a form and we'll just
[13:45] Speaker 2: not give specifics. We'll just say it is around the
[13:49] Speaker 2: Tennessee section of the Natchez Trace Parkway. So Natchez Trace
[13:52] Speaker 2: Parkway is like a scenic roadway that goes from Nashville
[13:56] Speaker 2: all the way to Natchez, Mississippi. So it's one of
[13:59] Speaker 2: those two lane you know, almost I believe the land
[14:02] Speaker 2: immediately surrounding the parkway is federal land, so it you know,
[14:08] Speaker 2: it's through a large part of Tennessee. And we'll say,
[14:10] Speaker 2: you know, so I'm in middle Tennessee around the Natchez
[14:13] Speaker 2: Trace Parkway. So we would go up there and just
[14:18] Speaker 2: hang out. You know, we bought it for hunting, so
[14:20] Speaker 2: in the summertime, we just go have a campfire, hang out,
[14:26] Speaker 2: ride ATVs, you know, prepare for the hunting season. You know.
[14:31] Speaker 2: Now the farm is a lot of food plots, a
[14:33] Speaker 2: lot of land management to support a dear herd. But
[14:37] Speaker 2: that's what we would do. So this was a summer
[14:40] Speaker 2: probably actually, you know, we bought form in twenty seventeen,
[14:42] Speaker 2: So this summer twenty eighteen, probably me and my younger
[14:47] Speaker 2: brother in law, we're just up there hanging out for
[14:51] Speaker 2: the weekend, had a campfire, outside the cabin and the
[14:55] Speaker 2: cabin just to describe it's it's by no means luxury,
[14:58] Speaker 2: but it's not, know, it's not a hostile on the
[15:01] Speaker 2: Appalation trail like it's you know, we've got power, we
[15:04] Speaker 2: can kirk with the nice fireplace. You know, it's comfortable,
[15:09] Speaker 2: but we are out there. They had to give perspective.
[15:14] Speaker 2: They eventually had to run power up to the farm
[15:17] Speaker 2: because it was run on a generator. So that's kind
[15:20] Speaker 2: of how far out there we were. While setting outside,
[15:23] Speaker 2: you could hear the little bit of traffic that's on
[15:26] Speaker 2: the Natchez Trace, so people you know, driving scenically. So
[15:30] Speaker 2: we're hanging out late into the ninth around the campfire,
[15:36] Speaker 2: just smoking a cigar, enjoying a little bourbon like not
[15:41] Speaker 2: you know, not partying, but just enjoying nature. So me
[15:45] Speaker 2: and my younger brother in law sit out there talking
[15:47] Speaker 2: and the coyotes just start ripping and whaling, and it's
[15:52] Speaker 2: just you could tell it's a big pack. They were
[15:55] Speaker 2: pretty close, I would say less than a mile, and
[15:59] Speaker 2: I mean just ye been howling everything that coyotes do.
[16:02] Speaker 2: This pack was doing it. And so if I'm sitting
[16:05] Speaker 2: I guess facing east and they're kind of you know,
[16:10] Speaker 2: I guess to the they're to the southeast of us,
[16:12] Speaker 2: and we can see them. We can kind of tell
[16:14] Speaker 2: that they're moving around. And this lasts a long time,
[16:18] Speaker 2: so it's a good few minutes of coyotes just going
[16:20] Speaker 2: crazy and we're like, yeah, this is cool. And my
[16:22] Speaker 2: brother in law not being you know, out in the
[16:25] Speaker 2: wild and hunting and stuff all his life, you know,
[16:27] Speaker 2: he's just kind of looks to me for that experience
[16:31] Speaker 2: and and to you know, hear things, verify things that
[16:34] Speaker 2: we're hearing. So we're listening to coyotes. We're like, that's cool,
[16:37] Speaker 2: and you know, they're coyotes. For me, that's like nothing
[16:40] Speaker 2: to be worried about. They they make a lot of noise,
[16:43] Speaker 2: they move through. If they see you, probably they're going
[16:46] Speaker 2: the other direction. You know, they're they're not interested in
[16:51] Speaker 2: messing with humans other than you know, to eat food
[16:55] Speaker 2: they leave behind and things like that. So not something
[16:57] Speaker 2: we were worried about. Still just sitting around the can't
[17:00] Speaker 2: fire and joy. So the coyotes finally stop and we
[17:03] Speaker 2: get a break of about thirty seconds of you know,
[17:08] Speaker 2: natural quietness that would occur in nature, right just it's
[17:11] Speaker 2: just quiet, not I wouldn't say like deadly silent, like
[17:14] Speaker 2: all sound dropped out, the environment changed. It was just
[17:18] Speaker 2: coyote stopped. That was all it was. And so we
[17:21] Speaker 2: have a thirty second break or show in there, and
[17:24] Speaker 2: then there's another sound that starts and we're just kind
[17:27] Speaker 2: of sitting talking. So it kind of ramps up and
[17:30] Speaker 2: we're in our minds we still have coyotes, and then
[17:34] Speaker 2: the sound ramps up even more and it's kind of
[17:39] Speaker 2: it's more of a roar or I describe it as
[17:41] Speaker 2: a bella like it's just kind of a and it
[17:44] Speaker 2: just really ramps up. And my brother in law kind
[17:48] Speaker 2: of looks at me and he goes coyotes and I
[17:50] Speaker 2: was like, oh yeah. And then the sound continues and
[17:53] Speaker 2: it and it ramps up into what I describe as
[17:58] Speaker 2: a mix between somebody throwing up and just a man
[18:05] Speaker 2: screaming bloody murder. Looked like in chest voice, like you know.
[18:12] Speaker 2: But it lasted for ten to fifteen seconds, just this
[18:18] Speaker 2: ramped up, just crazy roar, and it was farther than
[18:23] Speaker 2: the coyotes, Like you could tell that this thing had
[18:25] Speaker 2: to be so loud because perspective, it seemed like it
[18:30] Speaker 2: was beyond the Natchez Trace Parkway. It seemed like it
[18:33] Speaker 2: was farther now, and the fact that it lasted so long,
[18:38] Speaker 2: it just ramped up and became this yell, but it
[18:44] Speaker 2: was just you could tell it was so far away
[18:46] Speaker 2: and it had to have been so loud, and then
[18:49] Speaker 2: it stops and then everything is quiet. My brother in
[18:52] Speaker 2: law look at each other and he goes, let's go inside,
[18:55] Speaker 2: and I said, a good idea. And then that was that.
[18:59] Speaker 2: And just to think of it, I went on the
[19:01] Speaker 2: internet search and I was like, I, you know, I've
[19:03] Speaker 2: been in the woods all my life, heard wildcats, turkeys,
[19:08] Speaker 2: we were making funny noises. Uh you know, different different
[19:11] Speaker 2: birds doing different things. And I'm just on a quest
[19:14] Speaker 2: to find something that could have made this sound naturally.
[19:18] Speaker 2: I know there's a dirt track around the area. We
[19:21] Speaker 2: were like a racing track, and so I've heard that
[19:24] Speaker 2: on a Saturday night and this was in the wrong
[19:26] Speaker 2: direction and nothing like the dirt track, and uh yeah.
[19:33] Speaker 2: So I went on this crazy search to find something
[19:36] Speaker 2: that sounded like it the closest I could find. Like
[19:39] Speaker 2: I was trying to find all variations of a bobcat
[19:41] Speaker 2: call because I know there's we've seen bobcats. So I
[19:44] Speaker 2: was looking at all variations of Bobcat screams. I couldn't
[19:48] Speaker 2: find anything like that. The only thing that could pop
[19:52] Speaker 2: like that came close but still wasn't it was I
[19:54] Speaker 2: looked at Ferrell Hoggs, like, but the area is not
[19:59] Speaker 2: known for having and like, while they can make a
[20:02] Speaker 2: sound for a second that kind of sounds like that,
[20:05] Speaker 2: or found no examples of a long bellow like that
[20:12] Speaker 2: that that could be so loud and for so long,
[20:16] Speaker 2: it could be heard from so far away. So yeah,
[20:21] Speaker 2: in not finding anything, and then later in all just
[20:24] Speaker 2: kind of internet searches, you know, you get the algorithm
[20:26] Speaker 2: going for what you're searching for, come across people that
[20:29] Speaker 2: are doing bigfoot expeditions in the area, and I'm like, okay,
[20:34] Speaker 2: this is not just me saying, oh, that could have
[20:38] Speaker 2: been a bigfoot. It's like, oh, people are saying that
[20:42] Speaker 2: their experiences in the area, and that kind of validated
[20:46] Speaker 2: the thought for me that it's like I'm running out
[20:49] Speaker 2: of natural explanations for what the sound could be. My
[20:53] Speaker 2: younger brother in law, he's kind of, you know, at first,
[20:55] Speaker 2: he was like, I don't know what we heard, and
[20:57] Speaker 2: then I think now he's kind of moved into a place.
[21:00] Speaker 2: It wasn't a big thing, Like you know, he's just
[21:03] Speaker 2: can't say what it was, but he's just like, that's
[21:05] Speaker 2: that's not what it was. Now. I still the ounce
[21:08] Speaker 2: twenty eighteen. I go hunt out there almost every year.
[21:12] Speaker 2: I'm not afraid to go out in the woods, and
[21:14] Speaker 2: I've never seen anything weird, heard anything weird since. But
[21:19] Speaker 2: we want to talk about this experience a little bit
[21:21] Speaker 2: before I go into kind of how that's affected everything else,
[21:24] Speaker 2: Like if you had any questions, Yeah, yeah, that's not
[21:26] Speaker 2: about experience.
[21:27] Speaker 1: That's wild. So what you heard?
[21:31] Speaker 3: Did it?
[21:32] Speaker 1: I'm sure you've you've thought of this too. Could it
[21:36] Speaker 1: have been made by a human at all? Or it
[21:38] Speaker 1: was just way way past?
[21:40] Speaker 2: That does sound like I said, sounded like a man screaming,
[21:44] Speaker 2: like if there was a dude standing next to me
[21:47] Speaker 2: and he was like enraged and just bearing down for
[21:52] Speaker 2: a bit. Yes, that that part sounded human, But the
[21:57] Speaker 2: duration and the volume for the distance, there's there's no way. Yeah,
[22:02] Speaker 2: there's no way that could have been a person.
[22:05] Speaker 1: Yeah that makes sense. So were you finding like reports
[22:09] Speaker 1: on BFRO or you're I'm curious what kind of I
[22:14] Speaker 1: guess where you were finding things on the internet.
[22:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, I had just just YouTube and I haven't gone
[22:21] Speaker 2: and looked at you know now that in preparing, like
[22:24] Speaker 2: thinking about coming on here, I'm like, man, I've never
[22:27] Speaker 2: really gone on a b afro. I've not yet looked
[22:30] Speaker 2: at your maps. Like I've been to the website, but
[22:32] Speaker 2: I've not just had the time to look at the
[22:34] Speaker 2: maps yet. But I'm like, I need to go do
[22:36] Speaker 2: that and see along the Nachos Trace Parkway, like what's there.
[22:40] Speaker 2: Because it's validating to be like, oh, I'm not just
[22:44] Speaker 2: a random person that people are like, oh, Bigfoot's in
[22:46] Speaker 2: the Pacific north Northwest, and I'm saying I heard one
[22:49] Speaker 2: in Tennessee. It's like the more people start thinking are
[22:53] Speaker 2: now open to the idea of Bigfoot or big Foot
[22:56] Speaker 2: like creatures existing, the more people are seeing them over
[23:00] Speaker 2: the way.
[23:01] Speaker 1: And just to just to talk about what Jeremy's referring to,
[23:06] Speaker 1: because I don't think I talk about enough on the show.
[23:11] Speaker 1: If you go to the website for the podcast big
[23:13] Speaker 1: for Society podcast dot com and then you cook on
[23:16] Speaker 1: siting map, I have put a lot of I'm still
[23:24] Speaker 1: working on it, but there's a lot of It's probably
[23:28] Speaker 1: over a thousand pins. And these are just people that
[23:32] Speaker 1: I've talked to for the show. So you can go
[23:34] Speaker 1: to this map and it's just a Google map that
[23:38] Speaker 1: I fill in as I'm editing episodes, and you can
[23:42] Speaker 1: look for your area or any area, and I've got
[23:45] Speaker 1: you know, a ton in the US. But really, I
[23:47] Speaker 1: think every every country or every continent. I don't know,
[23:55] Speaker 1: just I don't think Greenland counts. That's it's not a continent,
[23:58] Speaker 1: you know. But yeah, it's all over the all over
[24:02] Speaker 1: the world, So check that out if you haven't. But
[24:06] Speaker 1: Wild Wild Stuff. Has anyone else had anything weird happen
[24:12] Speaker 1: on that property besides what you and your brother in
[24:14] Speaker 1: law experience that day.
[24:16] Speaker 2: Nobody's told me anything, so yeah, I've not heard anything.
[24:22] Speaker 2: I usually asked, you know, the owner. We've been writing together,
[24:27] Speaker 2: and I said, hey, Black, have you seen anything weird?
[24:30] Speaker 2: And He's like, it's weird, man, because we've got all
[24:32] Speaker 2: these cameras out there and we've we've never caught anything
[24:35] Speaker 2: on game cameras or anything. Which with watching all the
[24:39] Speaker 2: shows and listening to the podcasts and things like that,
[24:41] Speaker 2: I'm thinking, well, actually you're probably not going to catch
[24:44] Speaker 2: them on those.
[24:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
[24:47] Speaker 2: The more you put cameras up, it seems like the
[24:51] Speaker 2: further away they.
[24:51] Speaker 1: Go, Yeah, have you did you talk to the owner
[24:57] Speaker 1: about like, hey, have you heard anything like this sound
[25:00] Speaker 1: that we heard or anything like that?
[25:02] Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, and there's there's nothing. It was just me
[25:04] Speaker 2: and my younger brother in law that that out there,
[25:07] Speaker 2: just experience that and we tell the story and he's,
[25:10] Speaker 2: you know, he's I don't it was something else, and
[25:14] Speaker 2: I'm like, dude, that was a big fit.
[25:17] Speaker 1: Yeahs absolutely so, so how Yeah, I'm definitely curious. How
[25:21] Speaker 1: did this affect everything else after you had test?
[25:25] Speaker 2: So yeah, we kind of have to go back in
[25:27] Speaker 2: time because this this kind of reshops a few things.
[25:30] Speaker 2: And the reason it made me go even further back
[25:32] Speaker 2: was because of this next instances. So you know, it's
[25:36] Speaker 2: a quick story of back in twenty twelve, I was
[25:40] Speaker 2: hunting in a different area, still Middle Tennessee. This is
[25:44] Speaker 2: almost we'll say Tennessee bordering Alabama, like very southern Middle
[25:48] Speaker 2: Tennessee in hunting land that my stepdad has hunted on
[25:53] Speaker 2: since the seventies. Like it's it's uh, it's old woods,
[25:59] Speaker 2: it's tough land like Rocky. Now this place you've got
[26:03] Speaker 2: to take a four wheeld. You got to take an
[26:04] Speaker 2: ATV to get too. We have we haul, we have
[26:07] Speaker 2: a generator. It is it is a legit. It's a
[26:10] Speaker 2: hunting cabin.
[26:11] Speaker 4: We are.
[26:12] Speaker 2: We are away from everything. You can't hear a car.
[26:15] Speaker 2: Sometimes you hear an eighteen wheeler. Do the jake break,
[26:18] Speaker 2: do an engine break? Like maybe you'll hear that echo
[26:21] Speaker 2: through the mountains. Another interesting thing about this there is
[26:25] Speaker 2: a lot of deep we call them sinkholes, but really
[26:29] Speaker 2: their caves. Right, there's a lot of just cave entrances
[26:32] Speaker 2: going straight down. If you drop a rock in them,
[26:36] Speaker 2: you it takes a minute for the rock to hit
[26:38] Speaker 2: the bottom and you hear a nice as you hear
[26:42] Speaker 2: the rock hitting the air going down and echoing through
[26:44] Speaker 2: the cave area. So lots of deep caves in this area.
[26:48] Speaker 2: So you know, only we only go like we're walking
[26:51] Speaker 2: in the woods that you know the wee hours of
[26:53] Speaker 2: the morning before it's daylight. Definitely walking the known trails
[26:57] Speaker 2: because if you're just walking through the woods unknowingly, you
[27:00] Speaker 2: legit could just walk into a hole. There's multiple, multiple
[27:05] Speaker 2: of those that we know of in the area, so
[27:09] Speaker 2: hunting season, I remember we had a white Christmas set
[27:12] Speaker 2: snowed that Christmas, so this would have been after Christmas
[27:15] Speaker 2: leading in January, still snow on the ground, evening hunt.
[27:19] Speaker 2: I hunt this bluff line and I had taken a
[27:23] Speaker 2: shot at an eight point buck. And it had been
[27:26] Speaker 2: a horrible hunting year for me. I had rifle issues
[27:29] Speaker 2: and was using different rifles, and I had wounded deer
[27:33] Speaker 2: that year. I feel terrible about it because we always
[27:35] Speaker 2: want to make a humane when we harvest a deer.
[27:37] Speaker 2: We want to you know, have it be as humane
[27:39] Speaker 2: as possible and not have anything running around wounded. But
[27:43] Speaker 2: I had had wounded a few that year, so it
[27:45] Speaker 2: was just a frustrating year. But I had finally got
[27:48] Speaker 2: the rifle squared away and took a shot and hit
[27:56] Speaker 2: a deer, this eight point buck, and I mean it
[27:59] Speaker 2: hit the ground. I was like, yes, finally I've got
[28:01] Speaker 2: the monkey off my back, so to speak, and we're
[28:04] Speaker 2: good to go. So I'll give it a few moments
[28:06] Speaker 2: to just make sure, because if you go and try
[28:08] Speaker 2: to start tracking one early, you can actually give it
[28:11] Speaker 2: the adrenaline it needs to push and run. Okay, So
[28:14] Speaker 2: because it was so cold. Went back to the cabin.
[28:17] Speaker 2: We talked about it. It's like, hey, let's not track
[28:19] Speaker 2: them at night. Let's let's wait till the morning. We'll
[28:22] Speaker 2: get the whole crew out there and we'll look at
[28:25] Speaker 2: forward in the daylight. It'll it'll keep in the area.
[28:29] Speaker 2: Was We weren't worried about it, you know, coyotes or
[28:32] Speaker 2: anything like that at that time. So next morning we
[28:36] Speaker 2: go and we start searching, and we can see where
[28:41] Speaker 2: it hit the ground and then led a lot and
[28:44] Speaker 2: should have died there. But then we've started tracking it
[28:48] Speaker 2: where it apparently got up and started moving. So it
[28:52] Speaker 2: was a good track, easy tracking. Snow, we got to
[28:55] Speaker 2: this one hollow full of briers and things, and suddenly
[29:00] Speaker 2: all deer tracks, blood, everything just stop, just stopped. Couldn't
[29:05] Speaker 2: find the deer. We did a big circle looking through
[29:08] Speaker 2: the briers and maybe he's laid down in one of
[29:10] Speaker 2: these tree tops, was cut down, or maybe in this
[29:13] Speaker 2: brier patch, but just all evidence of the deer ceased.
[29:18] Speaker 2: And so we had hinted that morning prior to that,
[29:21] Speaker 2: I should say this, so we had hunted a short
[29:23] Speaker 2: time prior to that. We had decided we're going to
[29:25] Speaker 2: stop hunting early to go track this year. My stepdad
[29:28] Speaker 2: told me, he's like, oh, yeah, we're going to find
[29:30] Speaker 2: that deer. I heard it kind of just moving around
[29:33] Speaker 2: down in the bottom of the hollow, and so we're like, okay, cool,
[29:38] Speaker 2: that's pretty confident. So when we got down there and
[29:41] Speaker 2: it just ended and there was no evidence of it
[29:44] Speaker 2: thrashing or anything like that. It was just odd and
[29:48] Speaker 2: it was another bummer, and you know, we left it
[29:50] Speaker 2: b and you know, my Stepdad's like, man, I thought
[29:53] Speaker 2: I heard something down there. So later after I had
[29:56] Speaker 2: the experience around the Nature's Trace Parkway with the how
[30:00] Speaker 2: bellow what we want to call it, telling my stepdad
[30:04] Speaker 2: about that, and he goes, so, you remember when you
[30:10] Speaker 2: shot that deer and I told you I heard something
[30:13] Speaker 2: in the halliday that morning and that we were probably
[30:15] Speaker 2: gonna find it. I said, yeah. He goes, well, it
[30:20] Speaker 2: kind of scared me and I didn't want to say
[30:22] Speaker 2: too much, but what I heard was something thrashing around
[30:26] Speaker 2: and it sounded like a man down there yelling and
[30:29] Speaker 2: throwing up, And I was like, are you kidding me?
[30:36] Speaker 2: He was like yeah, he said, I know, And he
[30:39] Speaker 2: still says this. He says, I know there are bigfoots
[30:41] Speaker 2: that aren't hunting mountain, he said, but they and I
[30:44] Speaker 2: have an agreement, and I leave them alone and they
[30:46] Speaker 2: leave me alone. And so I still haven't like drawn
[30:50] Speaker 2: him out too much about what does that mean? Are
[30:52] Speaker 2: you just like, are you just spouting off things I do.
[30:57] Speaker 2: I do without a doubt think that that's because he
[30:59] Speaker 2: was when he said he heard something down there, he
[31:04] Speaker 2: was not really coming forth with a lot of stuff.
[31:07] Speaker 2: But then when he starts explaining, he was like, yeah,
[31:09] Speaker 2: he said, I wanted to go I wanted to go
[31:11] Speaker 2: home when he heard that that morning, and he kind
[31:15] Speaker 2: of logiced it that it was that deer dying, and
[31:20] Speaker 2: I kind of pictured, like, you know, deer when they
[31:25] Speaker 2: you know, a buck's grunt can sound different, a doze,
[31:28] Speaker 2: you know, bleat whatever can sound different if they're under distress,
[31:32] Speaker 2: and they make different sounds. So I haven't gone and like,
[31:36] Speaker 2: you know, tried to see what a deer sounds like
[31:39] Speaker 2: when it's in death. But now my stepdad would say, hey,
[31:44] Speaker 2: I think bigfoot took your deer. But when we were
[31:47] Speaker 2: down there looking at that time, you know snow, we
[31:51] Speaker 2: were looking for blood in the white snow. We weren't
[31:53] Speaker 2: looking for any other tracks. There were thick briers that
[31:56] Speaker 2: we couldn't even get on our hands and knees and
[31:58] Speaker 2: crawl through. But you know, around that, as much as
[32:02] Speaker 2: we put things down and think like the blood just
[32:05] Speaker 2: stopped and it should have been enough for the deer
[32:07] Speaker 2: to pass away, and we have no deer. We have
[32:12] Speaker 2: my stepdad hearing the sounds that he described as a man,
[32:18] Speaker 2: a man down in the hollow, yelling and throwing up.
[32:24] Speaker 2: And you know when I hear like some of the
[32:26] Speaker 2: Sierra sounds and things like that, like it's there's just
[32:30] Speaker 2: a guttural, you know, from the diaphragm, kind of a
[32:34] Speaker 2: sound and yell there. So that it's interesting to try
[32:40] Speaker 2: to go back to that experience and say was there
[32:42] Speaker 2: anything else around that besides now my stepdad telling me
[32:46] Speaker 2: after twenty eighteen saying, hey, back in twenty twelve, remember
[32:49] Speaker 2: when this happened, I heard a sound that you're described.
[32:54] Speaker 2: This would be probably an hour two hours away from
[32:59] Speaker 2: the Shays trace spot.
[33:01] Speaker 1: Okay, wow, dude, that that's what You've got to have
[33:05] Speaker 1: that conversation with him about what is your understanding between
[33:10] Speaker 1: you and like what happened to make that understanding between
[33:14] Speaker 1: you and Bigfoot, Like that sounds very interesting also, And
[33:22] Speaker 1: I'm sure when I hear stuff like the deer disappearing,
[33:30] Speaker 1: the tracks disappearing, man, I start thinking of like missing
[33:35] Speaker 1: have you have you watched?
[33:40] Speaker 2: Yeah, I have not gotten into that yet. I've listened
[33:43] Speaker 2: to a few interview interviews with politis, but I I
[33:48] Speaker 2: have not gotten into that. Also with you know, it's
[33:52] Speaker 2: a little okay, like how much truth do you want
[33:54] Speaker 2: to hear a little bit because like I have I have,
[33:59] Speaker 2: you know, I have a seven year old daughter, I've
[34:01] Speaker 2: got another daughter on the way, and it's, uh, you know,
[34:06] Speaker 2: it's kind of that balance and sometimes I overthink things
[34:09] Speaker 2: a lot. So I'm like, do I want to you know,
[34:14] Speaker 2: there's the okay, we need to know the truth, but
[34:17] Speaker 2: there's also like I want to give that spark that
[34:20] Speaker 2: might make me, you know, fearful, or do I just
[34:23] Speaker 2: want to kind of keep living my life trusting in God,
[34:29] Speaker 2: you know, trusting in Christ and really resting in that,
[34:33] Speaker 2: or give myself something else to be worried about in
[34:37] Speaker 2: raising a child in this world. So it's a different topic,
[34:41] Speaker 2: but so.
[34:42] Speaker 1: I totally get it. It is. It's an interesting documentaries
[34:47] Speaker 1: and specifically, I mean I will so in one of
[34:51] Speaker 1: them it's called out and this is also called out
[34:54] Speaker 1: in another interview. I had a gentleman who had talked
[34:57] Speaker 1: to a moof on investigator sources. We're talking about how
[35:04] Speaker 1: hunters had seen elk carried off by floating rods, which
[35:13] Speaker 1: I mean, that's not bigfoot, but yeah, it can be connected, right,
[35:17] Speaker 1: it's weird, right yeah. And then I mean I've had
[35:22] Speaker 1: I could say three to four people where I just
[35:25] Speaker 1: talked to actually a lady yesterday where she was on
[35:30] Speaker 1: top of the mountain and then looked over the mountain
[35:33] Speaker 1: and saw a big foot pretty much running down the
[35:39] Speaker 1: mountain in front of her and her dogs with a deer,
[35:44] Speaker 1: a full sized deer over its shoulder, and it had
[35:47] Speaker 1: like eight points on it. And it just you hear that.
[35:50] Speaker 1: I've heard that multiple times. You hear that sort of things.
[35:52] Speaker 1: You're like, you know, these things has so much power,
[35:56] Speaker 1: so they can easily just be a bam put it
[36:00] Speaker 1: over the back. It doesn't really explain the lack of
[36:02] Speaker 1: blood though you think there'd still be blood, but that
[36:06] Speaker 1: could be something else.
[36:07] Speaker 2: I don't know. That's where I entertained because I'm I'm
[36:10] Speaker 2: open minded to what I guess the b f R
[36:12] Speaker 2: people call the WU I'm open to it just because
[36:16] Speaker 2: I'm not you know, I'm not fully invested in it's
[36:19] Speaker 2: a creature or it's spiritual, like every everything spiritual totally.
[36:24] Speaker 2: I'm a you know, almost s Timothy Alberino's train of like, yep,
[36:30] Speaker 2: we don't have a separation of what's spiritual and what's physical,
[36:33] Speaker 2: like we're all part of the same existence. Like, so
[36:37] Speaker 2: sometimes spiritual can be excused to say something is not real, right,
[36:40] Speaker 2: But that's where I entertain, Like, Okay, the homeboy step
[36:43] Speaker 2: through a portal and you know, go somewhere else like that.
[36:49] Speaker 2: The biggest thing I always come up with is, you know,
[36:51] Speaker 2: the Native American legends that say, you know, Sasquatch has
[36:55] Speaker 2: a foot in the spirit world and a foot in
[36:57] Speaker 2: the physical world. You know, if if there are texts
[37:01] Speaker 2: that old basically saying the same thing people are observing now,
[37:07] Speaker 2: like you know, correlation does an equal causation and all
[37:11] Speaker 2: that good stuff. But you know, it's if multiple, multiple
[37:15] Speaker 2: things across centuries are saying the same thing, maybe we
[37:19] Speaker 2: should give some some credence to what people are saying
[37:23] Speaker 2: so that's yeah, so that's why I'm like, you know,
[37:26] Speaker 2: maybe okay, maybe there is a cave entrance there and
[37:30] Speaker 2: you just pop down in there. Maybe. Uh, you know,
[37:35] Speaker 2: there's all sorts of explanation, but yeah, just the all
[37:38] Speaker 2: like all of a sudden, all evidence of wounded deer gone,
[37:43] Speaker 2: that's a strange part.
[37:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's that kind of thing that really makes
[37:47] Speaker 1: you think. And the longer I do this show, you
[37:49] Speaker 1: know you hear. I've talked to multiple people that have
[37:54] Speaker 1: seen Bigfoot turn into a kind of black, wispy cloud,
[38:02] Speaker 1: kind of like the smoke Monster from Lost back in
[38:04] Speaker 1: the day. I've had that story from Outhood and West
[38:09] Speaker 1: Virginia and then multiple multiple ones where and this is
[38:16] Speaker 1: told me by Henry Franzoni, who's not with us anymore,
[38:19] Speaker 1: but I mean Native Americans would say, it can it
[38:25] Speaker 1: can affect the way that you walk and you move,
[38:28] Speaker 1: and if it wanted to, it can make you walk
[38:30] Speaker 1: off a cliff. And then I have another gentleman from
[38:35] Speaker 1: West Virginia that was like, yeah, I saw one laying
[38:40] Speaker 1: down and then I just wasn't controlling what I was
[38:43] Speaker 1: doing and I started walking away. Uh it just my
[38:47] Speaker 1: legs started walking by themselves, really really weird stuff. Man.
[38:51] Speaker 1: But I think at at the end of the day,
[38:53] Speaker 1: you know, it is it is a very interesting thing
[38:57] Speaker 1: because as you know, you don't want to open yourself
[39:01] Speaker 1: up to everything. You have to be aware what you
[39:03] Speaker 1: bring into your your house, uh could be literally. Yeah,
[39:09] Speaker 1: it's it's a very interesting thing being involved in this topic.
[39:15] Speaker 1: So did that was that the main thing that that
[39:19] Speaker 1: that the main memory that that affected having the not
[39:22] Speaker 1: just trace.
[39:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, so there was that. And then going back to
[39:26] Speaker 2: that hunting experience with my stepdad and my stepdad like
[39:30] Speaker 2: you know, with his agreement, I will ask him about that,
[39:34] Speaker 2: and I might email you and I and see what
[39:36] Speaker 2: that conversation entails. You know. It's interesting. Yeah, so thinking
[39:42] Speaker 2: about you know, a lot of times maybe the agree
[39:46] Speaker 2: maybe the agreement he has is somehow he's like, hey,
[39:50] Speaker 2: I'm not gonna say anything really about any of this,
[39:55] Speaker 2: and that's what he's going to hold to. But I'll
[39:58] Speaker 2: ask him. So then in that so where that this
[40:02] Speaker 2: hunting trip took place. When I was young, my grandfather
[40:07] Speaker 2: and my uncle and I were part of a hunting
[40:09] Speaker 2: club in the same mountain chain, probably like five miles
[40:12] Speaker 2: down the mountain area in another area, and this is
[40:17] Speaker 2: what this is where the part that made me rethink
[40:19] Speaker 2: my some experiences in my youth, and these are brief
[40:23] Speaker 2: that they're similar. I always remember in talking about the
[40:28] Speaker 2: old hunting land with my uncle, like he would tell stories.
[40:32] Speaker 2: When we're just sitting around telling the stories, he would
[40:33] Speaker 2: just say, you'll hear sounds in that mountain that you
[40:37] Speaker 2: can't explain, there's no explanation for, and everything in the
[40:42] Speaker 2: woods will just shut up, he said. He said, you know,
[40:45] Speaker 2: and my uncle's are very uh, he's a he's a
[40:48] Speaker 2: workout he's a gym kind of guy, and he's always
[40:52] Speaker 2: just been absolutely jacked and you know, obviously holding high
[40:56] Speaker 2: powered rifles. And he said, I've heard stuff in the
[40:58] Speaker 2: mountains that have made me want to go back to
[41:03] Speaker 2: the cabin, he said, but just sounds that you'll hear,
[41:06] Speaker 2: and the whole woods are just silent, and it's just
[41:09] Speaker 2: like we can't explain them. Now. I haven't heard what.
[41:11] Speaker 2: I didn't hear one of those as when I was young,
[41:14] Speaker 2: But I do specifically remember going through the woods and
[41:19] Speaker 2: walking out had a little you know, it was probably
[41:23] Speaker 2: seventh or eighth grade when I was you know old
[41:26] Speaker 2: enough to be in the woods on my you know,
[41:29] Speaker 2: started hunting, like in the fifth grade when I got
[41:31] Speaker 2: my hunter safety the course taken and you know, someone
[41:34] Speaker 2: will always sit with me. But then seventh and eighth grade,
[41:36] Speaker 2: I was starting to venture out on my own, walk
[41:39] Speaker 2: in the woods on my own. And I remember, I
[41:41] Speaker 2: mean the first time this happened, and then it's happened
[41:44] Speaker 2: multiple times after, I think even into adulthood that I
[41:47] Speaker 2: can remember be walking through the mountain on the four
[41:51] Speaker 2: wheel the trail this one instance when it first happened,
[41:54] Speaker 2: and I hear sound great, sounds like people talking. They
[41:59] Speaker 2: sound like kids talking. And I'm like, oh cool, my cousin.
[42:04] Speaker 2: You know, I'm encountering them. They're walking and hunting too,
[42:08] Speaker 2: and they're talking. So I'm like, so then the more
[42:11] Speaker 2: like I kind of start going towards the sound and listening,
[42:17] Speaker 2: I begin to notice it's not words, right, so and
[42:22] Speaker 2: and so I stopped. I standstill and keep listening, and
[42:28] Speaker 2: like you have to really like focus you're hearing, to
[42:34] Speaker 2: hear the sound and kind of to catch it. And
[42:38] Speaker 2: it sounded like it was in the same area I was.
[42:40] Speaker 2: It wasn't like a distant sound. It was just a
[42:42] Speaker 2: It was just a talking or what I thought was talking.
[42:45] Speaker 2: The way I can describe it, It's not like the
[42:47] Speaker 2: Sierra sounds like this. I guess we call it the
[42:50] Speaker 2: samurai chatter kind of thing. It was a yammering, but
[42:54] Speaker 2: it sounded like it could have been words, but it wasn't,
[42:58] Speaker 2: and there was nobody Like I felt like I sho
[43:00] Speaker 2: have been able to see what it was that was
[43:03] Speaker 2: making the sound, and it just wasn't. There was nothing there,
[43:09] Speaker 2: and it was, you know, a higher pitched you know,
[43:13] Speaker 2: like picture two kids having a conversation, but no no words,
[43:19] Speaker 2: just yammering. And then at some point it got a
[43:24] Speaker 2: little more excited and I just took off running and
[43:29] Speaker 2: got back to the cabin. And I can't explain what
[43:32] Speaker 2: that was like it So now I look back on that,
[43:36] Speaker 2: I'm going, okay, given adult experiences, what was that? Because
[43:41] Speaker 2: I've heard the sound again and the other times i've
[43:44] Speaker 2: heard it in different in both areas, in the old
[43:47] Speaker 2: hunting land and the land that I had the experience
[43:49] Speaker 2: with my stepdad on I've heard the sound, but i've
[43:52] Speaker 2: not the later times, I've just not been afraid of it.
[43:55] Speaker 2: I've been like stop and listen. That's weird. I've not
[43:59] Speaker 2: heard it since. I've had view of like, okay, could
[44:01] Speaker 2: this be something Bigfoot related? And like really look anymore
[44:05] Speaker 2: further than that, but just kind of like, oh, there's
[44:08] Speaker 2: that sound again, What the heck is that? And move on?
[44:12] Speaker 2: But it was just an odd I mean the first
[44:14] Speaker 2: time I did it. I mean, I have a high
[44:16] Speaker 2: powered rifle and I just pick it up and I'm gone,
[44:21] Speaker 2: and yeah, so I look back at that and go, Okay,
[44:29] Speaker 2: that was that something. And if I ever hear the
[44:32] Speaker 2: sound again, because again, I've not been afraid now looking
[44:35] Speaker 2: back on having experiences I had hearing sounds, I've not
[44:38] Speaker 2: been afraid to go back in the woods. I've always been.
[44:42] Speaker 2: I've always been like a little scared of the dark,
[44:43] Speaker 2: right so as a kid, and it is it is
[44:46] Speaker 2: interesting to walk through the woods before daylight and go
[44:53] Speaker 2: to a hunting spot. You know, it raises the hair
[44:56] Speaker 2: on your neck a little bit to walk in the
[44:57] Speaker 2: dark and not know what's beyond your flashlight. And there
[45:00] Speaker 2: are still hunting spots I don't like to go to
[45:02] Speaker 2: in the morning because I have to walk through a
[45:03] Speaker 2: certain area in the dark that I just don't like
[45:07] Speaker 2: and all that to say, like if I if I'm
[45:11] Speaker 2: in the woods and I hear that again, I'm gonna
[45:14] Speaker 2: spend some time like either I'm gonna find out that
[45:17] Speaker 2: this is something that whoa, I didn't know that could
[45:19] Speaker 2: make that sound, or I'm gonna get further. But I'm like,
[45:24] Speaker 2: I am determined to know what that is given knowledge
[45:28] Speaker 2: that I have.
[45:29] Speaker 1: Now, it sounds like it, man, sounds like that really
[45:34] Speaker 1: affected you and that's why that's wild stuff. But it
[45:42] Speaker 1: it also sounds like you're not really a guy who
[45:46] Speaker 1: you're gonna start going out and doing bigfoot expeditions.
[45:50] Speaker 2: I don't think so. Yeah, yeah, I've heard, you know,
[45:56] Speaker 2: stories about I think Blurry Creatures did a big episode.
[46:00] Speaker 2: It might have been it might have been Confessionals, but
[46:02] Speaker 2: with a guy out at Abrams Falls in the Cade's
[46:06] Speaker 2: Cove and and I've hiked out there before. I love
[46:10] Speaker 2: Kid's Cove. In college, I used to go there by
[46:12] Speaker 2: myself and just like walk as long as I could.
[46:16] Speaker 2: But I'm like, it would be interesting. I have some
[46:20] Speaker 2: I have another brother in law that he uh, he's
[46:27] Speaker 2: a he's a bigfoot guy. And I could kind of
[46:32] Speaker 2: joke and be like Hey, man, let's go to Abrams
[46:33] Speaker 2: Falls and look for a bigfoot. But I just don't know.
[46:37] Speaker 2: I feel like sometimes like me just to go out searching.
[46:43] Speaker 2: I don't know, I feel like the most compelling A
[46:47] Speaker 2: lot of the more compelling stories I've heard are from
[46:50] Speaker 2: people just existing and being in the area and they
[46:54] Speaker 2: kind of they kind of encounter and then of course,
[46:57] Speaker 2: you know, you go on expeditions and you guys, when
[46:59] Speaker 2: you have that group of people, when you have the
[47:01] Speaker 2: heat signatures that you have, and I looked at that,
[47:03] Speaker 2: and to me, you know, it looks like a panda
[47:06] Speaker 2: bear sitting in the woods, and you know, you catch
[47:08] Speaker 2: things like that. But I'm just like, you know what,
[47:11] Speaker 2: if I think my mindset is, if I'm going to
[47:14] Speaker 2: see one, I'm in the woods enough it seems like
[47:17] Speaker 2: they're there, I'm just gonna let it happen. And I'm
[47:20] Speaker 2: not going to I don't think I'm just going to
[47:22] Speaker 2: spend the time going like spending time to seek them out.
[47:25] Speaker 2: It's not that much of a burning desire. But I
[47:28] Speaker 2: have my own experiences and if they could, you know,
[47:31] Speaker 2: if they occur in the course of my hunting, then
[47:34] Speaker 2: I'm going to go out there I might take one,
[47:37] Speaker 2: you know, like if we're in East Tennessee and end
[47:41] Speaker 2: up going on a hike or something, I might my
[47:44] Speaker 2: antenna might be up a little more for that sort
[47:46] Speaker 2: of thing.
[47:48] Speaker 1: And I think that man, if you're just if man,
[47:51] Speaker 1: if you're just hiking, if you're just hunting down in
[47:53] Speaker 1: that state with a open open ears and open eyes,
[47:59] Speaker 1: you're probably gonna have other stuff happen. I mean, just
[48:01] Speaker 1: being out there, like you were saying, but I'll share,
[48:05] Speaker 1: I'll share a story with you real quick, because you know,
[48:10] Speaker 1: you never know, you never know when when you get
[48:14] Speaker 1: to tell stories, right. So recently I really wanted to
[48:21] Speaker 1: do like a solo camp out before treatment start this
[48:29] Speaker 1: coming Tuesday, And so I was like talking to my
[48:34] Speaker 1: wife and I was like I really want to do this,
[48:35] Speaker 1: and she's like okay. And then just to like clear
[48:39] Speaker 1: my head, you know. Yeah, And the oncologist was like, well,
[48:44] Speaker 1: we don't like you going through airports and like going
[48:47] Speaker 1: out to Oregon, but like if it's close by that
[48:51] Speaker 1: you know, reconnect with nature, that's fine. I was like, okay, cool.
[48:55] Speaker 1: So I've always had, as you said, you know, fear
[49:00] Speaker 1: of the dark. I've always had like an apprehensive fear
[49:03] Speaker 1: of the dark as well, and I was like this
[49:06] Speaker 1: this weekend, I'm like, I'm going to get I'm going
[49:09] Speaker 1: to get over that. It's just I'm gonna get over it.
[49:11] Speaker 1: So I usually get go into the tent once it
[49:15] Speaker 1: gets dark, but this time I was like, I'm going
[49:18] Speaker 1: to stay up, start a fire and just hang out
[49:22] Speaker 1: and get over this. Right. So it's about like eleven
[49:26] Speaker 1: thirty at night. I'm in the middle of Iowa woods,
[49:31] Speaker 1: way out there, no one else out there, and so
[49:35] Speaker 1: I'm sitting by the fire. My back is to the
[49:37] Speaker 1: tree line, and then it's you know, like you can
[49:42] Speaker 1: kind of sense there's something behind you. And I did
[49:44] Speaker 1: this whole like this whole deal where sorry for audio listeners,
[49:50] Speaker 1: it's like you kinda look a little bit to your back,
[49:54] Speaker 1: over your shoulder, and half a second after that, something
[50:02] Speaker 1: was on that tree line and just like ran off
[50:05] Speaker 1: into the woods on two legs, and I was like,
[50:07] Speaker 1: oh my goodness, what was that. And then about a
[50:11] Speaker 1: minute later, this is the weird part, I heard something
[50:16] Speaker 1: in the woods that sounded like an angry duck yelling
[50:20] Speaker 1: at me, and I was like, I'm going crazy, Like
[50:22] Speaker 1: I ducks don't sound angry in real life, I think,
[50:28] Speaker 1: And it's in the middle of the night, like I'm like,
[50:31] Speaker 1: I don't know what happened, and then I went to bed.
[50:36] Speaker 2: It's interesting how like you can have something like that
[50:38] Speaker 2: just like you know what, I'm going to sleep.
[50:40] Speaker 1: Well, I got I got really tired, and I was like,
[50:42] Speaker 1: I need to go to bed. It's very weird. It
[50:44] Speaker 1: was a little weird, Jeremy. So I just want to
[50:46] Speaker 1: throw that story out there about it.
[50:48] Speaker 2: But did you get to get out.
[50:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a good uh, you know,
[50:53] Speaker 1: reset before the the crazy stuff. So but dude, thank
[50:59] Speaker 1: you so much for for coming on the show. If
[51:02] Speaker 1: you do talk talk to him about what his agreement
[51:07] Speaker 1: with Bigfoot was, send me an email. I'd love to
[51:09] Speaker 1: hear about it. It would be a fun time. But dude,
[51:13] Speaker 1: best to be safe out there when you're hunting down Tennessee.
[51:17] Speaker 1: You never know what you're going to run into. But
[51:20] Speaker 1: thank you so much for coming on the show today. Jeremy.
[51:23] Speaker 2: Hey, it's been a pleasure and hopefully we're talking again today.
[51:26] Speaker 1: You guys has a going Let me make sure feeling
[51:31] Speaker 1: pretty good today. No pregnant isonn today, So don't feel
[51:35] Speaker 1: all amped up. So that's that's a good thing so
[51:41] Speaker 1: far today.
[51:46] Speaker 5: Thank I'm trying to get better. I just found out
[51:50] Speaker 5: I got alpha gol from being on the mountain just
[51:52] Speaker 5: collecting royals this spring and thirteen ticks and I'm very sick.
[51:58] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. I'm sorry to hear that. He uh,
[52:00] Speaker 1: you have a radio or something in your background.
[52:04] Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry about that, Bud.
[52:08] Speaker 5: I'm kind of new to all this, so yeah, you're good.
[52:11] Speaker 5: Deer Hunt. You're in eastern Kentucky. I live in apple ATCHI.
[52:15] Speaker 5: I just moved through about two years ago. I didn't
[52:20] Speaker 5: see anything, but I hang in the woods after dark
[52:24] Speaker 5: to hear the creatures and everything move around me.
[52:31] Speaker 1: Okay, interesting, what did you hear out there?
[52:38] Speaker 5: It was would have been on the very top of
[52:40] Speaker 5: my mountain. I was aways from it, but it was
[52:46] Speaker 5: like whoo. But it's more than anything. It it resonated
[52:52] Speaker 5: in my chest. It was like going to a concert
[52:56] Speaker 5: with those big bass speakers and feeling that resonation in
[52:59] Speaker 5: your chest. It was it was, it was big, it
[53:03] Speaker 5: was mighty. That was just one call, but it it
[53:10] Speaker 5: sounded like a great eight. I mean, I'm sixty one
[53:14] Speaker 5: years old. I've been in the woods. I grew up
[53:17] Speaker 5: on a farm my life, and I've never actually heard
[53:22] Speaker 5: this kind of call.
[53:26] Speaker 1: Wow, oh wow. So east east Kentucky is pretty wild.
[53:30] Speaker 1: I'm thinking of like Harlan County's over there, right.
[53:34] Speaker 5: Yeah, I live in Elliott County, Kentucky.
[53:38] Speaker 1: Okay, Sandy Hook. Yeah, let me look that up real quick.
[53:44] Speaker 1: I don't know if I know Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
[53:50] Speaker 5: I'm about and I'm about an out ten minutes from Lexington.
[53:54] Speaker 5: That's the closest really big city. I'm actually closest to
[53:58] Speaker 5: West Virginia, and you know, Cincinnati's about.
[54:01] Speaker 4: Three hours away.
[54:02] Speaker 1: But so have you heard of other people experiencing things
[54:08] Speaker 1: around your same area as well?
[54:12] Speaker 5: Yeah, it's it's uh, you know, the lore in Apalatria
[54:17] Speaker 5: is it's not lower it's it's kind of incredible.
[54:22] Speaker 1: Actually, oh absolutely, I mean you are about I mean
[54:27] Speaker 1: you're east of like Cave Run Lake, Red River Gorge
[54:32] Speaker 1: and all that in that area is pretty wild as well.
[54:37] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[54:38] Speaker 5: The Cave Run Lake is, it covers seven counties and
[54:42] Speaker 5: it's the largest man made lake ever. And all the
[54:46] Speaker 5: post offices, all the banks, all the cemeteries, they didn't
[54:50] Speaker 5: move the graves. They just moved the headstone, so there's
[54:54] Speaker 5: a lot.
[54:55] Speaker 1: Of trip stuff with that too.
[54:57] Speaker 5: Do you have any idea but fay are.
[55:02] Speaker 1: Oh like like the fairies?
[55:05] Speaker 6: Yeah?
[55:07] Speaker 5: Yeah, I've got photographic evidence on my dear cameras and
[55:14] Speaker 5: with pictures I take of different color orbs that show
[55:19] Speaker 5: up and one of them, actually I kid you, not
[55:26] Speaker 5: morph into a It was red. It comes up and
[55:30] Speaker 5: across the field right in front of the deer camera.
[55:33] Speaker 5: It was just an orb and it morphed into just
[55:36] Speaker 5: a red fairy and I just it blew my mind.
[55:42] Speaker 1: I've been hearing this from a few people lately, and
[55:45] Speaker 1: not just on TikTok. So you have that on a photo,
[55:51] Speaker 1: I do.
[55:52] Speaker 4: Wow?
[55:54] Speaker 1: Is that something? I mean, if you'd be willing to
[55:58] Speaker 1: to share it, I would love to take a look
[56:01] Speaker 1: at it. My email is Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.
[56:05] Speaker 1: But that sounds incredible.
[56:08] Speaker 5: It's actually the story Rent that I bought some horses
[56:13] Speaker 5: at an auction and they traded them out for really
[56:16] Speaker 5: old horses, and this horse was gonna die if I
[56:19] Speaker 5: didn't get him to the top of mountain on a
[56:21] Speaker 5: better Pathtor. My daughter's terrified of big animals and she
[56:24] Speaker 5: was walking this horse up.
[56:26] Speaker 2: It was getting barred, and you know, she was afraid.
[56:30] Speaker 5: Down in a really deep dark collar, and these red,
[56:35] Speaker 5: orange and yellow orbs came scared the horse. She had
[56:40] Speaker 5: some idea what it was. When the horse calmed down,
[56:43] Speaker 5: I'm not kidding you. They guided her all the way
[56:45] Speaker 5: up to the mountain. I took a horse up there,
[56:49] Speaker 5: and I mean, now they come like when I go
[56:53] Speaker 5: on the mountain and I'm doing poetry shooting video. I
[56:57] Speaker 5: just stopped the other night to take photographs of the
[56:59] Speaker 5: pullman and the clouds settled over the valley. It's not fog,
[57:03] Speaker 5: it's clouds were that high up and here they came,
[57:08] Speaker 5: and there's a green moon that when you do anything
[57:12] Speaker 5: like creative or whatever, they come and hang out, and
[57:15] Speaker 5: it's multiple orbs. To get to see the energy, it
[57:19] Speaker 5: actually looks like more than one together.
[57:22] Speaker 1: Oh wow, it's kind of amazing.
[57:24] Speaker 5: This is all new to me.
[57:26] Speaker 1: But this must be just blowing your mind to experience
[57:32] Speaker 1: that it is.
[57:34] Speaker 5: But I'm a good steward of my land. I don't
[57:37] Speaker 5: I don't use any chemicals here. I if I cut trees,
[57:42] Speaker 5: it's very selectively. And my daughter had the theory that
[57:47] Speaker 5: in that very dark collar. There's something ancient that lives there,
[57:51] Speaker 5: and these fays protected they protected her, they protected that horse.
[57:57] Speaker 5: And I don't care what any he says. I totally
[58:02] Speaker 5: believe it because I'm experiencing it. It's just the most
[58:05] Speaker 5: amazing to me, the big woop and it was. The
[58:13] Speaker 5: thing is, it wasn't really close to me. It was
[58:16] Speaker 5: calling in another direction. I don't know if it knew
[58:19] Speaker 5: I was there, but it resonated in my chest so deeply.
[58:24] Speaker 6: It was something big.
[58:26] Speaker 1: It had to have been. That is wild. How how
[58:31] Speaker 1: big were the like the orbs you were seeing?
[58:35] Speaker 5: The orbs actually are not very big, Okay, sometimes and
[58:40] Speaker 5: they're like the size of maybe a half dollar. Sometimes
[58:45] Speaker 5: they're they're bigger than that. Sometimes it's kind of wild.
[58:48] Speaker 5: When you take a picture, you don't see them. But
[58:51] Speaker 5: when you look at the pictures later though, they are.
[58:56] Speaker 5: And then sometimes if you lose track of what you're seeing,
[59:01] Speaker 5: if you look back through the camera, they're interactive. They
[59:04] Speaker 5: play with you. They'll cut down in the grass and
[59:07] Speaker 5: go behind you. I've debunked bugs, I've debunked you know,
[59:11] Speaker 5: just kind of wild, you.
[59:13] Speaker 1: Know, fascinating. So pocket it sounds like you are just
[59:17] Speaker 1: starting your story. I bet there's going to be more
[59:21] Speaker 1: things that happened to you out there in Sandy Hook.
[59:24] Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing. Man.
[59:27] Speaker 5: Yeah, I've got nineteen less They're still totally dark cameras.
[59:32] Speaker 5: But you know what's wild is is they they apparently
[59:35] Speaker 5: like the cameras. They're they're drawn to them. And I
[59:38] Speaker 5: don't know why I'm getting that kind of response, but
[59:41] Speaker 5: I feel really blessed. I do, And I've been looking
[59:45] Speaker 5: for a really good stick to knock, but I'm a
[59:48] Speaker 5: little bit afraid something going knock.
[59:50] Speaker 1: Back, you know, right, Yeah, yeah, I got you. I
[59:54] Speaker 1: got you, dude, Wild So dude, yeah, I mean think
[59:58] Speaker 1: it over if you're if you're able to share that photo,
[1:00:02] Speaker 1: I'd love to see it, but totally up to you.
[1:00:04] Speaker 5: Man.
[1:00:05] Speaker 2: So I've got some photos.
[1:00:08] Speaker 5: I'll send you the green ones, uh, the one of
[1:00:11] Speaker 5: the red one that came that that actually more I
[1:00:15] Speaker 5: believe that went to my dear camera company server as well.
[1:00:20] Speaker 5: So I'm hoping that I can go back and recover that.
[1:00:24] Speaker 5: But when I get these nineteen cameras up, I'm really
[1:00:27] Speaker 5: interested in what I pick up on video and audio.
[1:00:32] Speaker 1: Well my goodness, yeah, oh great, Wild stuff Pocket, Thank
[1:00:35] Speaker 1: you so much for Sharon. Keep in touch. Please we
[1:00:39] Speaker 1: got to hear what happens next. But thank you for
[1:00:41] Speaker 1: hanging out with us today.
[1:00:42] Speaker 2: Man, cool.
[1:00:46] Speaker 1: Good stuff. Pocket is new to this and he is
[1:00:50] Speaker 1: getting into the wild stuff of Kentucky. Thank you for
[1:00:54] Speaker 1: coming up, sir. Hey, Molly, how are you hi? How
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: are you hey? I'm doing it. Thank you for coming up.
[1:01:01] Speaker 6: And I listened to you all the time.
[1:01:03] Speaker 8: I just want to know I'm sending you positive energy
[1:01:05] Speaker 8: on your healing journey. And I love your shows. I
[1:01:08] Speaker 8: listened to him every night before I go to bed.
[1:01:10] Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you, Molly. I appreciate that more than
[1:01:12] Speaker 1: you know.
[1:01:13] Speaker 6: Okay, I just wanted to I was just sitting and listen.
[1:01:15] Speaker 8: I listened to you, you know, all the time, and
[1:01:17] Speaker 8: these these live call ins, and I have a I
[1:01:20] Speaker 8: haven't had a sighting, but I just thought I would
[1:01:23] Speaker 8: share a couple of our experiences because we have a
[1:01:26] Speaker 8: little I have a little unique background. I would say,
[1:01:29] Speaker 8: probably not the typical people that go you know, not
[1:01:34] Speaker 8: that I'm I'm not discounting anyone. I'm just saying, with
[1:01:37] Speaker 8: our background and our family, we have had the thing
[1:01:41] Speaker 8: that that got us interested in this was a strange
[1:01:44] Speaker 8: experience our son had, and since then, my husband and
[1:01:49] Speaker 8: I and our eleven year old son have gone on
[1:01:51] Speaker 8: to b f r O b f r O expeditions,
[1:01:55] Speaker 8: and uh, I just thought I would share that because
[1:01:57] Speaker 8: it's it's really interesting. And I think what we always
[1:02:00] Speaker 8: say when we kind of talk about this, my husband
[1:02:02] Speaker 8: and I, is well, we do have evidence of some
[1:02:05] Speaker 8: very strange prints and if it's not Bigfoot making them,
[1:02:10] Speaker 8: something is. And I know personally that these but these
[1:02:13] Speaker 8: weren't faked. So I decided to share that. It started
[1:02:17] Speaker 8: out my son about fifteen years ago, went camping in
[1:02:23] Speaker 8: the Hoosier National Forest and he this is I mean,
[1:02:28] Speaker 8: I think the Bigfoot TV shows and things like that
[1:02:31] Speaker 8: had you know, been out, but he wasn't really we
[1:02:33] Speaker 8: weren't really watching them on a regular basis or anything,
[1:02:36] Speaker 8: so he really wasn't into that. But he was probably nineteen,
[1:02:40] Speaker 8: you know, eighteen nineteen somewhere in there. He went with
[1:02:42] Speaker 8: a friend and they went off trail. So they were
[1:02:46] Speaker 8: doing a little bit not completely primitive camping, but they
[1:02:50] Speaker 8: went off trail and they went up near a fire tower,
[1:02:53] Speaker 8: and he was, you know, texting periodically because he was
[1:02:55] Speaker 8: still pretty young.
[1:02:57] Speaker 6: We were we did not have bigfoot fever.
[1:03:00] Speaker 8: We were not into the whole I mean, I've always
[1:03:02] Speaker 8: liked things kind of strange and paranormal and kind of
[1:03:04] Speaker 8: out there. My background is teaching. I have a degree
[1:03:07] Speaker 8: in teaching. My husband's electrical engineer. He went to a
[1:03:10] Speaker 8: private engineering school. We have three boys. We just we've
[1:03:15] Speaker 8: always been very open minded to everything, but not really
[1:03:17] Speaker 8: into the whole thing. Kind of out of nowhere. I
[1:03:22] Speaker 8: get a picture from my son, and he's intelligent, soft spoken,
[1:03:28] Speaker 8: loves the wilderness. My husband's from a farm in Wisconsin.
[1:03:32] Speaker 8: I'm from Indiana, so we've had a lot of experience
[1:03:35] Speaker 8: out in the woods. We're not new beest, but we're
[1:03:36] Speaker 8: not a huge hunting family family or anything more camping,
[1:03:39] Speaker 8: hiking things like that. So he sends us a photo
[1:03:43] Speaker 8: of he has a size thirteen boot and it was
[1:03:49] Speaker 8: raining off trail, muddy everywhere, and he just sends me
[1:03:54] Speaker 8: this picture of this ginormous footprint with his size thirteen
[1:04:01] Speaker 8: boot next to it. Huge, probably like four or five
[1:04:08] Speaker 8: at least inches lengthwise past his boot and at least
[1:04:13] Speaker 8: double the width of his boot. The consecutive photos wore
[1:04:19] Speaker 8: that same print or a print similar to that going off.
[1:04:24] Speaker 8: It was like something was crossing the trail. I had
[1:04:26] Speaker 8: a left angle and they were on a ridge. You
[1:04:28] Speaker 8: can see in the distance the fire tower. It wasn't
[1:04:33] Speaker 8: I would say, it's probably more like an animal trail
[1:04:36] Speaker 8: and you know, like a deer trail something. It wasn't
[1:04:38] Speaker 8: a like hiking trail. It was probably later in the evening,
[1:04:44] Speaker 8: so misty dark, not dark, but it was like that
[1:04:47] Speaker 8: rainy evening kind of weather. The subsequent photos from that
[1:04:52] Speaker 8: were the large footprints with smaller footprints inside of them
[1:04:58] Speaker 8: off the trail, and I was, It's like, what was that?
[1:05:02] Speaker 6: And my son's like, uh, I don't know what that.
[1:05:06] Speaker 8: So, you know, he takes these photos, comes home, and
[1:05:09] Speaker 8: you know, we are very curious family. Like I said,
[1:05:12] Speaker 8: open to everything. I like more of the wu Wu stuff.
[1:05:14] Speaker 8: I mean, I just I'm open for anything. You know,
[1:05:16] Speaker 8: my husband is too. So as a family we're kind
[1:05:19] Speaker 8: of like, I know that my son didn't go out
[1:05:21] Speaker 8: there with like a fake print, you know what I mean,
[1:05:24] Speaker 8: off trail, primitive camping at night in the who's your
[1:05:27] Speaker 8: National Forest?
[1:05:27] Speaker 6: By a fire darmer?
[1:05:28] Speaker 8: I know he didn't do that, right, So you know
[1:05:32] Speaker 8: what I mean, it's like other people can say, oh,
[1:05:34] Speaker 8: you know, that's faker.
[1:05:35] Speaker 6: He those were those are real.
[1:05:38] Speaker 8: So we're like, what, Alex sa our son, We're like,
[1:05:40] Speaker 8: what made those prints? So we start looking into it.
[1:05:44] Speaker 6: We get super curious.
[1:05:45] Speaker 8: You know, I was a big I read all Jeff
[1:05:47] Speaker 8: Meldrum's books because my parents were professors. I'm very curious
[1:05:51] Speaker 8: about you know, science and all these other things. And
[1:05:54] Speaker 8: I got to tell you there's something out there making
[1:05:57] Speaker 8: big footprints. Because since then, we've gone on to BFRO exhibitions.
[1:06:04] Speaker 8: Not that I'm a huge BFRO you know, like fan,
[1:06:06] Speaker 8: I know all the controversy with them and everything, but.
[1:06:10] Speaker 6: We've gone on two of those with my son. It
[1:06:12] Speaker 6: was fun my our eleven year old.
[1:06:13] Speaker 8: We have an eleven year old now, Alex, the one
[1:06:15] Speaker 8: that found the prince originally is twenty nine, and then
[1:06:18] Speaker 8: we have a twenty six year old. Three boys, and
[1:06:22] Speaker 8: we went on the you know, camping. It'd be fun.
[1:06:24] Speaker 8: It's also interesting for us, you know, for an eleven
[1:06:26] Speaker 8: year old. But our eleven year olds found a print
[1:06:30] Speaker 8: in the grass by a small teepee structure woven all
[1:06:34] Speaker 8: together weirdly here in Wisconsin. It was the Wisconsin bfro
[1:06:38] Speaker 8: and it was just what we were kind of. I
[1:06:40] Speaker 8: think some of the adults went on the like more
[1:06:43] Speaker 8: aggressive bigfoot you know, sasquatch hunting with all their equipment,
[1:06:47] Speaker 8: and then we kind of went with like the older
[1:06:49] Speaker 8: people and walked. But it's in a place here in
[1:06:51] Speaker 8: Wisconsin that has had had had a couple of class
[1:06:54] Speaker 8: as recently.
[1:06:56] Speaker 6: So we go.
[1:06:58] Speaker 8: My son, my eleven year old, he was had the
[1:07:00] Speaker 8: times like what's that? It was very strange, you know,
[1:07:03] Speaker 8: and we look kind of into the woods. Of course,
[1:07:05] Speaker 8: a kid finds that and it's this woven, little woven,
[1:07:09] Speaker 8: little like pyramid looking thing.
[1:07:12] Speaker 6: You know, do with it what you will, but.
[1:07:16] Speaker 8: It was done with something with hands, you know. And
[1:07:19] Speaker 8: so we're all walking a kind of walking around, you know,
[1:07:22] Speaker 8: looking around. My son puts his hand down on the
[1:07:26] Speaker 8: ground and the person that was kind of leading the
[1:07:29] Speaker 8: group said, yeah, that feels like a footprint.
[1:07:32] Speaker 6: What do you know.
[1:07:33] Speaker 8: We brought casting material and we casted two big footprints.
[1:07:38] Speaker 8: When you cast it and pressed it in there correctly,
[1:07:40] Speaker 8: it is a footprint with toes and everything else.
[1:07:42] Speaker 6: We have those here at home.
[1:07:44] Speaker 8: But you know, when we've kind of enjoyed the subject,
[1:07:48] Speaker 8: but I just wanted to share that that we have
[1:07:50] Speaker 8: some prints in our family has some experiences that are
[1:07:54] Speaker 8: pretty reliable and very very interesting.
[1:07:59] Speaker 1: That's fantastic. Is that Bob leading the Wisconsin one?
[1:08:03] Speaker 2: Yes?
[1:08:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, Bob's Bob.
[1:08:06] Speaker 2: Ye.
[1:08:06] Speaker 1: He's really nice. He's really nice. He's he led the
[1:08:09] Speaker 1: love him because I went last year and he led
[1:08:12] Speaker 1: the Iowa one. He's a really nice guy.
[1:08:15] Speaker 8: He's fantastic. Yeah, So he helped Hudson, you know, our
[1:08:19] Speaker 8: son cast it. But I gotta tell you, we're all.
[1:08:24] Speaker 6: We kind of look at it like this.
[1:08:26] Speaker 8: You can you can say I believe or I don't
[1:08:29] Speaker 8: believe in big but or sasquatch all you want.
[1:08:31] Speaker 6: But whatever you whether you want.
[1:08:34] Speaker 8: To believe in that or not, something organic is making
[1:08:37] Speaker 8: large footprints, you know what I mean?
[1:08:40] Speaker 1: No exactly, And it's like you can't explain it right, Well,
[1:08:45] Speaker 1: I know it is, but it's hard to logically explain away.
[1:08:49] Speaker 1: So if you're if you're based out of Indiana, you
[1:08:55] Speaker 1: were saying, who's your national.
[1:08:57] Speaker 6: Live in Indiana?
[1:08:58] Speaker 8: And now we live in Wisconsin and oh okay, we
[1:09:00] Speaker 8: moved here about five years ago.
[1:09:02] Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Wisconsin, you got plenty of stuff just
[1:09:06] Speaker 1: for people from Indiana. Man, if I was out there,
[1:09:08] Speaker 1: I'd be hitting up Morgan, Monroe, and Hoosier all the time.
[1:09:12] Speaker 1: That stuff is crazy. Yeah, Wisconsin, you guys have like
[1:09:17] Speaker 1: I mean, all sorts of wild stuff you could get
[1:09:20] Speaker 1: into up there. It's pretty cool, Like the Driftless area
[1:09:23] Speaker 1: that's pretty awesome.
[1:09:24] Speaker 8: But yeah, and the farther north you go, the more
[1:09:27] Speaker 8: sightings there are. Then I'm right near the oh god,
[1:09:31] Speaker 8: I can't remember what it's called right now. Where the
[1:09:35] Speaker 8: where the the the places that had the big huge
[1:09:41] Speaker 8: like caves and things like that.
[1:09:43] Speaker 6: I'm in econom of Walk, Wisconsin.
[1:09:45] Speaker 8: Okay, So we have a couple parks here that are
[1:09:49] Speaker 8: like have tons of sightings in them.
[1:09:52] Speaker 1: I get some stuff from and I don't know how
[1:09:54] Speaker 1: to say it, but it's like, uh sure, Shaquaman Nicolette
[1:09:59] Speaker 1: National Forest by the border. It's like north Wisconsin.
[1:10:03] Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, that's yet up in Door County. It's crazy,
[1:10:08] Speaker 8: but it's like, yeah, there's tons of forests and things.
[1:10:10] Speaker 8: Another thing I wanted to say, Like I started off,
[1:10:13] Speaker 8: like most people do, listening to Sasquatch chronicles and really
[1:10:16] Speaker 8: getting into that and thinking, you know, statistically, with my
[1:10:18] Speaker 8: science brain, how many of these people that have absolutely
[1:10:22] Speaker 8: no vested interest in making crap up are making this up,
[1:10:25] Speaker 8: you know what I mean.
[1:10:26] Speaker 6: It's just insane.
[1:10:27] Speaker 8: So I started listening to that, and now I heard
[1:10:30] Speaker 8: the last color mentioned a light, and there's all these
[1:10:32] Speaker 8: things about orbs, and I've always been trying to kind
[1:10:34] Speaker 8: of like figure out what could happen when I don't
[1:10:37] Speaker 8: know something, you know, we kind of just say it's
[1:10:39] Speaker 8: okay to say I don't know, Like I don't have.
[1:10:41] Speaker 6: To jump into what I believe exactly.
[1:10:44] Speaker 8: But I'll tell you an experience with light that we
[1:10:46] Speaker 8: did have is when we were all that same It
[1:10:49] Speaker 8: was the next year, we're with Bob again, and my
[1:10:52] Speaker 8: husband and my son and I did strap up and
[1:10:55] Speaker 8: go with the big boys, you know, and go out
[1:10:58] Speaker 8: into the deep deep woods.
[1:11:00] Speaker 6: And they were like bringing Hudson. I'm like, yep, we're
[1:11:02] Speaker 6: bringing Hudson.
[1:11:04] Speaker 8: But when we did take a lap around the place
[1:11:06] Speaker 8: the year before where Hudson had found that print and
[1:11:10] Speaker 8: that little that little woven thing, you know, Uh, we
[1:11:15] Speaker 8: were walking around the lake dar it was like super creepy.
[1:11:20] Speaker 8: My husband, Jason, and Bob were kind of probably about
[1:11:22] Speaker 8: fifteen steps in front of like five of us. And
[1:11:26] Speaker 8: Bob and Jason like just like screamed, like all like yelled.
[1:11:31] Speaker 8: They both yelled all of a sudden, We're like what,
[1:11:33] Speaker 8: They're like, what was that? And the five of us
[1:11:35] Speaker 8: that were behind him kind of we were just kind
[1:11:37] Speaker 8: of stopped, looking around different directions. Bob and Jason said,
[1:11:42] Speaker 8: what was that? That wasn't lightning. They both at the
[1:11:45] Speaker 8: same time saw the brightest flash of light. And my husband,
[1:11:50] Speaker 8: being an electrical engineer, you know, he he's he's like,
[1:11:54] Speaker 8: I cannot describe to you, Molly how bright this was.
[1:11:58] Speaker 8: But we didn't see it like feet behind them, and
[1:12:01] Speaker 8: there had been some weird noises in the woods. We'd
[1:12:03] Speaker 8: heard a couple of little strange chirps and some kind
[1:12:06] Speaker 8: of strange things on this little path we were taking.
[1:12:08] Speaker 8: But Bob and Jason were both very shook by this
[1:12:11] Speaker 8: bright flash of light that the rest of us didn't see.
[1:12:14] Speaker 8: They said it was like a bluish white light. And
[1:12:16] Speaker 8: Jason and Bob had the same experience. But I don't
[1:12:18] Speaker 8: know how that relates, but they experienced that and we didn't,
[1:12:23] Speaker 8: and it was very, very, very weird, and to shake
[1:12:25] Speaker 8: my husband up is almost impossible.
[1:12:28] Speaker 1: So wow, Yeah, that's very well. It is weird how
[1:12:33] Speaker 1: weird light stuff seems to connect to the phenomenon, and
[1:12:37] Speaker 1: I've experienced that down in Tennessee over back in April.
[1:12:41] Speaker 1: It was weird. But but man, Mollie, thank you so
[1:12:45] Speaker 1: much for coming up and for chatting a little bit.
[1:12:47] Speaker 1: Check out the Kettle Moraine area someone took.
[1:12:50] Speaker 6: Oh that's what I was trying to think of. I'm
[1:12:52] Speaker 6: so New York Kettle Moraine. The weird stuff goes on
[1:12:55] Speaker 6: in there.
[1:12:56] Speaker 8: I'm gonna head over there in a couple of weeks
[1:12:57] Speaker 8: and just take we take hikes during the day, but
[1:13:00] Speaker 8: I think I'm gonna strap up and go by myself.
[1:13:03] Speaker 1: Look up, watch do you know Japacho Chin?
[1:13:08] Speaker 6: Yes?
[1:13:09] Speaker 1: Okay, so you've watched this stuff. Good.
[1:13:13] Speaker 8: I've been thinking that maybe I should get a hold
[1:13:15] Speaker 8: of him because he's not very far from me.
[1:13:17] Speaker 1: You know, he's a really nice guy. I've met him
[1:13:19] Speaker 1: in person, and I would recommend he might be a
[1:13:22] Speaker 1: guy that would be up to being reached out to.
[1:13:26] Speaker 1: You don't know, but he's a really nice guy. I've
[1:13:28] Speaker 1: hung out with him at a festival, So okay, awesome,
[1:13:30] Speaker 1: recommend it.
[1:13:31] Speaker 8: Let me have to share our stuff and thank you
[1:13:32] Speaker 8: for your show. I absolutely love it and good luck
[1:13:34] Speaker 8: to you all right, bye bye, good stuff.
[1:13:41] Speaker 1: Gotta love hanging out with another Midwestern Hi, Sabina, have
[1:13:44] Speaker 1: you good, thank you awesome. Feel free to share what
[1:13:49] Speaker 1: you would like to share.
[1:13:51] Speaker 4: Sabina, Howdy, Jinka, Den Sabina Dennis sut Me. I'm from
[1:14:01] Speaker 4: Dakath Territory in central BC. And are people always know
[1:14:07] Speaker 4: there's sasquatch. There's no doubt or question. We don't have
[1:14:12] Speaker 4: to question that. We know that. We have a name
[1:14:15] Speaker 4: for our sasquatch. A few names. One is see Lowel
[1:14:22] Speaker 4: and the other is the nay Aye, which means man eater.
[1:14:26] Speaker 4: The other one, I'm not sure the meeting. It's more
[1:14:29] Speaker 4: of a name. And I was very picking on one
[1:14:34] Speaker 4: of our beautiful sacred mountains, Bazkath, right beside our village.
[1:14:40] Speaker 4: And I was fourteen, and in those days we pick
[1:14:44] Speaker 4: berry still we do everything living on the land. And
[1:14:49] Speaker 4: so I was by myself quite far away from the village,
[1:14:53] Speaker 4: like about four kilometers, and I rode my bike hiked
[1:14:57] Speaker 4: up the mountain picking gooseberries. The first berries ripe into
[1:15:01] Speaker 4: spring summer, early summer, and all of a sudden I
[1:15:08] Speaker 4: smelled this most foul odor, worse than any rotten fowl
[1:15:12] Speaker 4: I ever smelled in my life. And I looked over
[1:15:16] Speaker 4: across there was a big cliff on the other side
[1:15:21] Speaker 4: of the cliff. I was on one side and on
[1:15:23] Speaker 4: the other side of the cliff, I looked over and
[1:15:26] Speaker 4: I could see giant trees, giant trees like about some
[1:15:31] Speaker 4: of them were about two feet in diameter, like large
[1:15:36] Speaker 4: fir trees, and some really large poplar trees. And it
[1:15:42] Speaker 4: was coming towards me in a line of trees, and
[1:15:46] Speaker 4: the trees were swaying back and forth about twenty feet
[1:15:51] Speaker 4: twenty feet to the side to the side, and so
[1:15:57] Speaker 4: I just freaked out and ran down the side of
[1:16:02] Speaker 4: the cliff mountain like about. It was about between two
[1:16:08] Speaker 4: to four meter strides. I was taking down the mountain
[1:16:12] Speaker 4: running because it was so terrifying. And I just jumped
[1:16:15] Speaker 4: on my bike and rode home. And I told my grandma.
[1:16:18] Speaker 4: I said, there must have been a grizzly bear up there. Grandmother,
[1:16:24] Speaker 4: and she said, and I what happened, And I recalled
[1:16:28] Speaker 4: the story exactly what happened, and she said, ah, t
[1:16:31] Speaker 4: Setloel wanted to come and abduct you because in our
[1:16:36] Speaker 4: people's beliefs they abducted virgins, and I was a virgin,
[1:16:42] Speaker 4: and she said, you're lucky you didn't get abducted. And
[1:16:48] Speaker 4: then not long after I was recalled stories of our
[1:16:53] Speaker 4: not long ago passed where our village, when the white
[1:16:56] Speaker 4: Man first came, and about the mid early nineteen hundreds
[1:17:03] Speaker 4: in our territory, they came to settle in our area,
[1:17:07] Speaker 4: and the white Man started burying our bodies. We used
[1:17:11] Speaker 4: to always cremate. Sure enough that buried unburied, there they'd
[1:17:17] Speaker 4: find a robed grave with the bodies missing. And so
[1:17:22] Speaker 4: the minister, the Catholic minister, told the people he would
[1:17:30] Speaker 4: find out what it was. They knew what it was.
[1:17:33] Speaker 4: It was Danaii, the man eater. But he buried himself
[1:17:39] Speaker 4: and put a straw in the ground so he could breathe.
[1:17:43] Speaker 4: And sure enough that that Danaie came and put him
[1:17:48] Speaker 4: in a big sack on his back and carried him
[1:17:51] Speaker 4: to our sacred mountain right beside on the other side.
[1:17:54] Speaker 4: It's called at Sea's Mountain, and there is a big
[1:17:59] Speaker 4: king there where that the Naie has been known to
[1:18:03] Speaker 4: live for many, many thousands of years. And sure enough
[1:18:09] Speaker 4: he took them there and down, down, down, so deep
[1:18:11] Speaker 4: into the mountain, and he was around the family members
[1:18:17] Speaker 4: and everything. When they went out, they went to sleep,
[1:18:21] Speaker 4: and he took his opportunity and started to run run
[1:18:28] Speaker 4: from out, and they that sasquatch chased him back to
[1:18:34] Speaker 4: the village and the people surrounded that sasquatch and killed it.
[1:18:41] Speaker 4: And that was told to me by a ninety year
[1:18:43] Speaker 4: old elder in the nineties. So that was an account
[1:18:49] Speaker 4: after colonizer came and and there's a story of after
[1:18:56] Speaker 4: colonizer came of that they also killed a Sasquatch baby
[1:19:02] Speaker 4: in our village and they buried it somewhere near the village.
[1:19:09] Speaker 4: And then sure enough, that mother Sasquatch, she kept knocking
[1:19:17] Speaker 4: on the windows of all the village members and harassing
[1:19:21] Speaker 4: the village for scaring them in their homes in there.
[1:19:29] Speaker 4: They had white man homes back then. It was probably
[1:19:32] Speaker 4: in the mid nineteen hundreds. And then they had to
[1:19:39] Speaker 4: unbury that baby sasquatch that they killed, and they offered
[1:19:44] Speaker 4: it back to the mother, just put it on the
[1:19:46] Speaker 4: ground somewhere out there. And then after that they were
[1:19:51] Speaker 4: allowed to they were at peace. The mother left them
[1:19:56] Speaker 4: alone after that, and another time not long ago, only
[1:20:02] Speaker 4: a few years ago. Along the north shore of the
[1:20:05] Speaker 4: lake where I lived, my sister and I were doing
[1:20:09] Speaker 4: a ceremony and it was getting dark past dark by
[1:20:15] Speaker 4: the time we were done, and the embers were just
[1:20:19] Speaker 4: leaving our ceremony. They were just burning out, but we
[1:20:23] Speaker 4: had to wait, and sure enough, all of a sudden,
[1:20:30] Speaker 4: twenty trees at least fell at once, big trees, and
[1:20:36] Speaker 4: one right in front of my truck. We were very terrified,
[1:20:40] Speaker 4: but we continued to complete our ceremony, and it took
[1:20:45] Speaker 4: about twenty more minutes or so. And when we went
[1:20:50] Speaker 4: to walk up to the truck from the waterside to leave,
[1:20:55] Speaker 4: and sure enough that big giant tree was only like
[1:20:59] Speaker 4: inches from the front of my vehicle, luckily not the back,
[1:21:03] Speaker 4: or else we would have been stuck there, so I didn't.
[1:21:08] Speaker 4: We just drove up the hill and I had to
[1:21:10] Speaker 4: move trees off the road that had fallen above the road,
[1:21:14] Speaker 4: like quite far. Oddly, the night before that, before we
[1:21:19] Speaker 4: did the ceremony, I had a sacred bundle set up
[1:21:22] Speaker 4: and you know, a big, big drum and out in
[1:21:26] Speaker 4: the bush waiting for us. I just said it there
[1:21:29] Speaker 4: and before we got there to do our ceremony that
[1:21:32] Speaker 4: drum had been thrown off the road like in a
[1:21:39] Speaker 4: very human like manner. And yeah, so, like I said,
[1:21:48] Speaker 4: our people don't question if there's big foot. Another story
[1:21:52] Speaker 4: I had was when I was in a territory in Sequat,
[1:21:56] Speaker 4: move little bit farther away, different nation from me, on
[1:22:04] Speaker 4: the West Fraser, and I was in a little cabin
[1:22:10] Speaker 4: with my friend and it was getting late, my little
[1:22:13] Speaker 4: daughter was sleeping, and all of a sudden we could
[1:22:16] Speaker 4: hear scraping on the outside of our cabin. It was
[1:22:22] Speaker 4: a little probably twenty by twenty cabin. Sounded like somebody
[1:22:28] Speaker 4: dragging a stick around the cabin on the outside all
[1:22:33] Speaker 4: the way around, and we were pretty scared, but just
[1:22:40] Speaker 4: went to bed. And then first thing in the morning
[1:22:42] Speaker 4: I went out to look and there was a stick
[1:22:44] Speaker 4: drag on the ground in the mud, and it went
[1:22:47] Speaker 4: from the cabin across the road to a little trail
[1:22:52] Speaker 4: on the mountain right behind us, and there I could
[1:22:57] Speaker 4: see human footprints and then as it was and the
[1:23:02] Speaker 4: stick drag beside it, and then as it turned into coyote,
[1:23:11] Speaker 4: those prints with that stick drag. And that's another encounter
[1:23:18] Speaker 4: we had.
[1:23:20] Speaker 3: Wow.
[1:23:21] Speaker 4: When I was picking berries, picking mushrooms more else. After
[1:23:26] Speaker 4: the big, huge latest fire in our territory about six
[1:23:30] Speaker 4: years ago, not even maybe three, four years ago maybe,
[1:23:37] Speaker 4: and we were way up in the bush and we
[1:23:42] Speaker 4: almost got lost, me and my friend, which we don't
[1:23:45] Speaker 4: take a compass or anything usually, I just know the way,
[1:23:50] Speaker 4: and I unusual circumstance happened where I lost my way.
[1:23:55] Speaker 4: It was very weird, and I was like, okay, got
[1:24:00] Speaker 4: to retrace my footprints back to where I lost my senses,
[1:24:05] Speaker 4: and so we started heading back. All of a sudden,
[1:24:09] Speaker 4: every time giantest sound way out in the bush, like
[1:24:13] Speaker 4: we were forty kilometers to the nearest people, and it
[1:24:18] Speaker 4: was the loudest sound, eerie, just so from way across
[1:24:24] Speaker 4: the mountain side, like it must have been about twenty
[1:24:28] Speaker 4: kilometers away, but it was so loud, and it was
[1:24:34] Speaker 4: like a holler, very human like hollar, nothing like an elk,
[1:24:39] Speaker 4: nothing like a crazy little fox or any of those
[1:24:43] Speaker 4: sounds screeching cat, nothing like that howling wolf. Nothing. I
[1:24:48] Speaker 4: heard it all and my friend and I both we
[1:24:53] Speaker 4: just found our trail instantly because the direction that that
[1:24:58] Speaker 4: sound came from was the exact direction of the trail
[1:25:02] Speaker 4: that I had lost so a part of me feels
[1:25:06] Speaker 4: like although it was time to go, and we knew
[1:25:08] Speaker 4: it because at evening time we don't go in the bush,
[1:25:12] Speaker 4: we don't pick. That's animal time, and we were stretching it.
[1:25:18] Speaker 4: And that animal, that sacred man being, showed us the
[1:25:23] Speaker 4: path by being in the exact direction of that path.
[1:25:27] Speaker 4: So when I looked at the sound where it was
[1:25:30] Speaker 4: coming from, I could see the path. And so we
[1:25:35] Speaker 4: did not get lost that day. And so you know,
[1:25:41] Speaker 4: sometimes those beings help us. One time when I was
[1:25:43] Speaker 4: up in the Witsuit in territory because I do activism
[1:25:50] Speaker 4: them in the territory to try to stop pipelines from
[1:25:54] Speaker 4: going through, and we were having a simple meeting outside
[1:25:58] Speaker 4: our camp, all indigenous only, and all of a sudden,
[1:26:02] Speaker 4: again there was rocks being thrown at the roof right
[1:26:06] Speaker 4: beside us.
[1:26:09] Speaker 3: Just rocks.
[1:26:10] Speaker 4: They just some of them throw rocks on the coast
[1:26:14] Speaker 4: of BC. They call them sninnicks and books. Anyway, that's
[1:26:18] Speaker 4: all I have to share today.
[1:26:20] Speaker 1: Being incredible stories that we would never really hear any
[1:26:26] Speaker 1: other way. Thank you for sharing your culture with us.
[1:26:31] Speaker 1: I have just a quick question. So it happen a
[1:26:36] Speaker 1: lot where where people would be taken from from your
[1:26:43] Speaker 1: tribe by these or is that a not a common one?
[1:26:47] Speaker 4: Lady, my dad's friend growing up, she got taken by
[1:26:52] Speaker 4: a sasquatch and she when they found her not long after,
[1:26:57] Speaker 4: they thought she was going to be gone forever. But
[1:26:59] Speaker 4: when she came back and she was young, her hair
[1:27:02] Speaker 4: was all gray. She was taken by a sasquatch. And
[1:27:08] Speaker 4: that was my dad's seventy six years old.
[1:27:13] Speaker 1: Wow, my goodness, thank you, thank you for sharing. I
[1:27:22] Speaker 1: appreciate it. Hopefully we will hear from you another day
[1:27:26] Speaker 1: if you're able to hang out with us, but we're
[1:27:29] Speaker 1: really appreciative of everything you shared today. Thank you.
[1:27:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, I just came across you and I just followed
[1:27:35] Speaker 4: you right now. I never knew you existed before, so
[1:27:40] Speaker 4: you know, I'm sure you've maybe my dad's seen one.
[1:27:46] Speaker 4: He was canoeing on the river and he thought it
[1:27:49] Speaker 4: was a bear, and sure enough, it was a man, standing,
[1:27:55] Speaker 4: giant tall, and he just also got that foul odor.
[1:28:01] Speaker 4: Another guy in our village seen one too, and it
[1:28:04] Speaker 4: was in the outhouse and it was eating tan.
[1:28:07] Speaker 1: Really yeah, oh my goodness. That's that's very very intense,
[1:28:13] Speaker 1: but it's it's very real. It's very real.
[1:28:17] Speaker 4: Lots of people seeing them up here. Okay, take care.
[1:28:20] Speaker 1: I can't imagine. Thank you, Sabina. I'll follow you as well.
[1:28:23] Speaker 1: Have a good one. Wow, Hi Daniel, how are you.
[1:28:31] Speaker 3: I'm good to yourself?
[1:28:33] Speaker 1: Doing great.
[1:28:34] Speaker 7: I have not encounter like seen it befood my own self,
[1:28:38] Speaker 7: like seeing it myself, but I have had like instances
[1:28:42] Speaker 7: where I have I have it made me believe that
[1:28:47] Speaker 7: they are big food, even when having seen them with
[1:28:52] Speaker 7: my naked eye, like trying to see them and be
[1:28:54] Speaker 7: like yeah.
[1:28:55] Speaker 1: So oh sure, yeah, sure sure.
[1:28:59] Speaker 7: There was a time that we had we had a
[1:29:03] Speaker 7: trip in Tennessee. Yeah so, and it was a waterface area,
[1:29:09] Speaker 7: like acqued my international students. So I can't I quite
[1:29:13] Speaker 7: don't remember the name of the place. So I've not
[1:29:15] Speaker 7: been here for long. So we went to this place
[1:29:19] Speaker 7: and it has a very the waterforce has a very
[1:29:26] Speaker 7: big valley where.
[1:29:29] Speaker 3: When you look down, it's kind of it's very deep.
[1:29:35] Speaker 7: So most of the time people go descend down when
[1:29:38] Speaker 7: the river I'll say the water is very low and
[1:29:41] Speaker 7: they go to the forest. So at a point in
[1:29:45] Speaker 7: time in the river when I was working, I was
[1:29:47] Speaker 7: just observing how the water is flowing, and it was
[1:29:52] Speaker 7: very clear. You could see some tiny fishes, golden fishes
[1:29:55] Speaker 7: and stuff in it. So I was just being observant,
[1:29:59] Speaker 7: very observant, watching.
[1:30:00] Speaker 3: Things a lot. So I noticed that there was like.
[1:30:06] Speaker 7: And I kind of let a lot of foods, some big,
[1:30:10] Speaker 7: big footsteps in the water. But you can't unless you
[1:30:14] Speaker 7: keep paying attention before you could know that there are
[1:30:18] Speaker 7: footsteps because it's very big. So when you're walking through
[1:30:22] Speaker 7: the water, you feel like you are just going up
[1:30:25] Speaker 7: and down in the water because you feel like the
[1:30:27] Speaker 7: streams are not like the water flowing is not smooth,
[1:30:30] Speaker 7: you know. So I started observing that anytime we walk
[1:30:35] Speaker 7: like five to ten meters, you just go down and
[1:30:40] Speaker 7: you walk a little bit. So most of the time
[1:30:43] Speaker 7: people a lot of people were working in the water,
[1:30:45] Speaker 7: so the water was kind of unclean, like it was
[1:30:49] Speaker 7: just dirty. It becomes dirty a little bit like dusty
[1:30:51] Speaker 7: and something like that. So I was like, okay, I'd
[1:30:55] Speaker 7: rather take my time for a lot of people to
[1:30:57] Speaker 7: go and I'll come later. So my friends were like, okay, okay,
[1:31:00] Speaker 7: they are heading for it and come later. So I started,
[1:31:05] Speaker 7: Now the water is flowing, so it takes that's away.
[1:31:09] Speaker 7: So over a period of time, like I waste like
[1:31:13] Speaker 7: twenty to thirty man because it is not a bunch
[1:31:15] Speaker 7: of people going at the same time. So I noticed
[1:31:20] Speaker 7: that when they left and I went back a little bit,
[1:31:24] Speaker 7: so I was like, I wanted to know why we
[1:31:27] Speaker 7: have ups and down whows this streams is flowing this
[1:31:30] Speaker 7: way and it is no rainy season where you'll be
[1:31:32] Speaker 7: saying that it is eluasi. So I started watching and
[1:31:37] Speaker 7: I went back, and you could see despite people have
[1:31:40] Speaker 7: walked through in for a while, you could see that
[1:31:44] Speaker 7: it looks like a foot, but it's way way bigger
[1:31:47] Speaker 7: than my Like it's way way bigger. So it's way
[1:31:51] Speaker 7: way bigger than.
[1:31:51] Speaker 3: So I was. I started phone.
[1:31:53] Speaker 7: I was like, okay, so it looks like there was
[1:31:55] Speaker 7: a footsteps in that way, like there's a big, big
[1:31:59] Speaker 7: foot now, and it was going opposite direction of where
[1:32:02] Speaker 7: we were going, So it looks like the tennis right
[1:32:05] Speaker 7: up from where we were going to elsewhere. So where
[1:32:11] Speaker 7: we are going to, where the force was where we
[1:32:13] Speaker 7: were going, the food was opposite the place, so like
[1:32:18] Speaker 7: the toes are facing where we were coming from where
[1:32:21] Speaker 7: we're coming from m hm.
[1:32:23] Speaker 3: So that was when I noticed it was big food.
[1:32:26] Speaker 7: But I was trying to mention it to my friends,
[1:32:29] Speaker 7: and we were like, I believe in too much. I
[1:32:32] Speaker 7: believe a lot too much. So I didn't continue to
[1:32:37] Speaker 7: try to convince them because they didn't want them to
[1:32:41] Speaker 7: even hear me out. So I was like, okay, and
[1:32:43] Speaker 7: I kept to myself, but I believe that there's a
[1:32:46] Speaker 7: big food.
[1:32:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe. I believe.
[1:32:48] Speaker 1: How long? How long was that foot print?
[1:32:50] Speaker 3: Is song andy?
[1:32:56] Speaker 7: Okay? So I was merging with my I was trying
[1:32:59] Speaker 7: to measure in my foot, like my foot so I
[1:33:02] Speaker 7: could say, like, I'm.
[1:33:05] Speaker 3: Just trying to make the day. How I did it
[1:33:06] Speaker 3: against before? I tell you?
[1:33:09] Speaker 7: So like like at three like my three foots right,
[1:33:14] Speaker 7: my three foots, I'm very tort I'm a little bit tall,
[1:33:17] Speaker 7: so my three foot and a little bit like a
[1:33:20] Speaker 7: half three foot and half, so something like that. And
[1:33:26] Speaker 7: interesting the way I saw that thing makes me look
[1:33:29] Speaker 7: like and the place is very big, so if at
[1:33:32] Speaker 7: night there's no lighting system there, so if at night
[1:33:36] Speaker 7: such a being is working there, it's going to be
[1:33:38] Speaker 7: very difficult to like seeing it, like see it because
[1:33:43] Speaker 7: it's a big value, it's a deep value.
