In this episode, we delve into the remarkable experiences of Steve Britt, an outdoorsman and adventurer who has spent years exploring some of the most remote landscapes in the country. From early encounters in the forests of Washington State to extended time deep in the mountains of southeast Oklahoma, Steve shares a journey shaped by patience, persistence, and repeated activity in places few people ever reach. Spending weeks and months on private land far from regular human traffic, Steve describes unexplained sounds, deliberate interactions with objects, and moments that suggest awareness and intelligence watching from just beyond the treeline. As his time in these areas stretches on, the encounters grow more personal, culminating in sustained observations that left a lasting impact on how he understands the natural world. Steve’s account is thoughtful, detailed, and grounded in firsthand experience, offering listeners a rare look at what can happen when someone stays long enough to be noticed. Join us as we explore Steve’s journey, the remote regions he traveled, and the mysteries that continue to draw him back into the wilderness. [0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Bigfoot Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In
[0:03] Speaker 1: this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring
[0:05] Speaker 1: you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen
[0:08] Speaker 1: something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to
[0:12] Speaker 1: quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: So settle in because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: So stay with us, all right, big for Society. You've
[0:32] Speaker 1: got the privilege of talking to mister Steve Brett today.
[0:36] Speaker 1: Steve is an outdoorsman and a adventurist down there in
[0:42] Speaker 1: southeast Oklahoma. We'll be talking about that area today. He's
[0:46] Speaker 1: also an author of his book is called Breakfast with Bigfoot,
[0:51] Speaker 1: and we'll be talking about that a little bit today
[0:53] Speaker 1: as well. But welcome to this show, Steve. How are you?
[0:56] Speaker 2: Thank you? I'm doing good. Thank you for having me
[0:59] Speaker 2: on the show.
[1:00] Speaker 1: And you've got a furry friend there next to you.
[1:05] Speaker 1: Watch on.
[1:05] Speaker 3: Yeah, I got Rocco. This is my there.
[1:10] Speaker 1: You go, hey, there's Rocco the Husky.
[1:12] Speaker 3: Very good so, but he's got a YouTube channel too, brilliant.
[1:17] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, Well, off Road Adventure, Steve, how did
[1:22] Speaker 1: you get involved with with this bigfoot stuff to begin with?
[1:29] Speaker 1: Take us back to when this first started for you,
[1:31] Speaker 1: that you started having things in the happened in the
[1:36] Speaker 1: bigfoot field.
[1:38] Speaker 3: Oh man, this has got to be way back in
[1:41] Speaker 3: the early seventies when I was a kid, you know,
[1:45] Speaker 3: when the Legends of Boggy Creek and all that stuff
[1:47] Speaker 3: came out, and I was pretty fascinated with all the
[1:52] Speaker 3: cryptid stuff, the Locknest Monster, you know, all that kind
[1:57] Speaker 3: of stuff. When I was a kid, National Inquirer was
[2:00] Speaker 3: like my favorite little thing to read. When I was
[2:02] Speaker 3: in line shopping with my mom. I was like anticipated
[2:07] Speaker 3: seeing the National inquir to see what they saw and
[2:09] Speaker 3: went while we were waiting in lane.
[2:11] Speaker 2: I like reading it, but.
[2:15] Speaker 3: I grew up in Oklahoma, and really, you know, I
[2:18] Speaker 3: didn't the Legend of Boggie Creek. Watched a lot of
[2:21] Speaker 3: stuff about Bigfoot and stuff like that, but no real
[2:23] Speaker 3: experiences there until we moved to Washington State. And then
[2:31] Speaker 3: this is up at the Olympic National rainforest and we
[2:35] Speaker 3: were right on the outskirts of it and had like
[2:38] Speaker 3: ten acres out there.
[2:40] Speaker 2: And we moved from Oklahoma to there.
[2:43] Speaker 3: We cleared some land and stuff and put our put
[2:48] Speaker 3: our house on it. My mom put had the house
[2:51] Speaker 3: put on it and stuff and everything.
[2:53] Speaker 2: It was pretty neat and I was.
[2:55] Speaker 3: Like eleven ten or eleven, And I mean the first thing,
[3:01] Speaker 3: it was like the first month we were there, something
[3:04] Speaker 3: was outside of squalling like crazy. And I had the
[3:08] Speaker 3: bedroom in the back of the house, and that night
[3:11] Speaker 3: I changed my bedroom to the front.
[3:13] Speaker 2: Of the house. You know, I made the decision.
[3:15] Speaker 3: I'm like, no, next morning I went slepting my mom's
[3:19] Speaker 3: room with her, and then I moved.
[3:22] Speaker 2: I moved my bed and.
[3:26] Speaker 3: We had some my My grandparents were park rangers at
[3:31] Speaker 3: Horseshoe Lake up in Washington State, and that was pretty awesome.
[3:36] Speaker 3: A lot of lot of good stuff happening up there,
[3:38] Speaker 3: but not really any bigfoot stuff other than her friend
[3:44] Speaker 3: their friends were park rangers as well, came and got
[3:48] Speaker 3: us one day and said they had something special for us,
[3:51] Speaker 3: So like right on, So we all loaded in the
[3:53] Speaker 3: back of the pickup truck and went over to their
[3:55] Speaker 3: park on the and on the other side of the lake,
[4:00] Speaker 3: and they took us on like maybe a two mile
[4:04] Speaker 3: hike down a trail and there was these trees that
[4:07] Speaker 3: were like six foot up and they were just twisted
[4:10] Speaker 3: like about so big around.
[4:13] Speaker 2: They were just twisted.
[4:14] Speaker 3: The tops of them were laid down and they were
[4:16] Speaker 3: stripped and there was like eight nine foot beds made.
[4:21] Speaker 3: It was crazy, and they were just you know, left there.
[4:24] Speaker 3: It was pretty neat looking, and the trees weren't cut
[4:29] Speaker 3: or anything. They were twisted off and you could see
[4:32] Speaker 3: that the trees on the ground were the pieces that
[4:36] Speaker 3: were twisted off, and that was pretty amazing.
[4:40] Speaker 2: So that kind of spiked it for me right there.
[4:44] Speaker 1: Steve, I want to jump in real quick just to
[4:47] Speaker 1: clarify something. Is this the same Horseshoe Lake that's over
[4:50] Speaker 1: by Mount Adams.
[4:52] Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, I believe. So okay, yeah, very cool.
[4:58] Speaker 1: So just for listeners, so it's it's totally understandable that
[5:04] Speaker 1: you're seeing stuff over there, because I mean, my goodness,
[5:07] Speaker 1: we've talked about Mount Adams on the show. We've talked
[5:10] Speaker 1: about o'lally Lake Campground on the show. I mean it's
[5:15] Speaker 1: at Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Just just a wild wild area.
[5:20] Speaker 1: So yeah, but please continue, continue with your account.
[5:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, and that was really neat. So that really sparked,
[5:29] Speaker 3: you know, my interest with that. And but other than
[5:34] Speaker 3: a few creepy feelings, I really didn't have any other
[5:38] Speaker 3: experiences up until I started when I retired at like
[5:48] Speaker 3: about forty five, I started just taking off on my
[5:51] Speaker 3: motorcycle and camp in remote places and stuff like that.
[5:55] Speaker 3: And I lived in Florida at the time, so we
[5:59] Speaker 3: went all over the place in Florida. And I was
[6:02] Speaker 3: by myself out at a wildlife management area and camping,
[6:08] Speaker 3: and I was there for about three weeks. This was
[6:11] Speaker 3: right before the like COVID stuff started.
[6:14] Speaker 4: And.
[6:18] Speaker 3: Towards towards the end of the three weeks, like two
[6:21] Speaker 3: days before I had to leave because of the COVID stuff.
[6:29] Speaker 3: I was sleeping and I got woke up at like
[6:32] Speaker 3: four am with pebbles like hitting my tent and rolling down,
[6:37] Speaker 3: you know, and you could count the It was like
[6:41] Speaker 3: ten to twelve count before another pebble hit. And it
[6:46] Speaker 3: happened for about an hour. I laid there and listened
[6:48] Speaker 3: to it for about an hour just to see if
[6:50] Speaker 3: it faltered or did anything, and never did. And then
[6:53] Speaker 3: finally I'm like, hey, I'm sleeping in here. I'm trying
[6:56] Speaker 3: to go back, you know, and it stopped and I
[7:00] Speaker 3: woke up in the morning and when I came out,
[7:03] Speaker 3: it didn't rain, it wasn't wet out or anything.
[7:06] Speaker 2: There was no red.
[7:08] Speaker 3: There was a huge puddle, I'm talking a puddle by
[7:12] Speaker 3: my tent, wet spot, and I'm like, what the heck?
[7:17] Speaker 2: Everything was dry.
[7:18] Speaker 3: It was just a big wet spot by my tent,
[7:21] Speaker 3: and there was a stick at going through it. So
[7:24] Speaker 3: I picked up the stick just to you know, smell
[7:27] Speaker 3: what was It was p for sure, So something just
[7:32] Speaker 3: like left its mark right there. Because I would actually
[7:35] Speaker 3: in the middle of the night, I would pee in
[7:37] Speaker 3: a jug and then in the morning, I would like
[7:39] Speaker 3: pour it around my camping area, you know, on the outskirts.
[7:44] Speaker 2: How long.
[7:45] Speaker 3: It's just for coyotes and stuff like that. They're not
[7:48] Speaker 3: going to mess with you if they smell you know,
[7:51] Speaker 3: people urine mostly.
[7:56] Speaker 2: But that was pretty weird.
[7:58] Speaker 3: And then two days years later, they canceled all my
[8:02] Speaker 3: reservations and everything for doing anything. And that was like
[8:06] Speaker 3: the beginning of my journey when I just started everything
[8:10] Speaker 3: and they're like, nope, everything in Florida was canceled. So
[8:14] Speaker 3: I ended up going and staying with my aunt because
[8:18] Speaker 3: my uncle just passed away. And that started another journey,
[8:23] Speaker 3: which had a lot to do with this, because she
[8:29] Speaker 3: ended up passing away too, she got a brain tumor.
[8:33] Speaker 3: But we rented a suv and I drove her to
[8:40] Speaker 3: Arkansas or Kansas, to my cousins, to her daughters, and
[8:46] Speaker 3: stayed there for like a week. And she's like, just
[8:48] Speaker 3: take the car, do what you want. We got it
[8:50] Speaker 3: for another month, and so I took off and I
[8:54] Speaker 3: headed to Oklahoma, where my brother lived, and I.
[8:58] Speaker 2: Got family and stuff like.
[8:59] Speaker 3: That, and I went there, and that's kind of sparked
[9:06] Speaker 3: that because I enjoyed staying there and going around and
[9:11] Speaker 3: doing some things. And we visited this place called Coffee
[9:15] Speaker 3: Lake outside of Oklahoma City, and.
[9:20] Speaker 2: We were there.
[9:20] Speaker 3: It was about this time of year. It was chilly,
[9:23] Speaker 3: and it was toward the evening. Nobody was out there
[9:26] Speaker 3: and I was walking around it not a very big lake,
[9:29] Speaker 3: and my brother and his wife was still over by
[9:32] Speaker 3: the vehicles, which was on the other side of the lake,
[9:36] Speaker 3: and I hear every just it was weird from all
[9:40] Speaker 3: around me. I hear like murmuring, like somebody talking, people talking,
[9:46] Speaker 3: but I couldn't tell where exactly where it was coming from.
[9:50] Speaker 3: And I'm looking all over the place, and I'm thinking, like,
[9:53] Speaker 3: homeless camps out there.
[9:54] Speaker 2: That's the first thing to pop it into my head.
[9:56] Speaker 3: There's like a homeless camp out here, and I don't
[9:58] Speaker 3: want to stumble in on them, They're like. But then
[10:02] Speaker 3: I keep looking around and it's just coming from everywhere.
[10:05] Speaker 3: I couldn't tell where the murmuring, and it was loud,
[10:11] Speaker 3: you know, it was loud enough to but I couldn't
[10:13] Speaker 3: tell what they were saying or what was going on,
[10:15] Speaker 3: and I kind of freaked me out a little bit.
[10:17] Speaker 3: So I started walking back and I was like, Hey,
[10:21] Speaker 3: is that you guys? And nothing back. And I walked
[10:25] Speaker 3: up some more and I realized that they were still
[10:27] Speaker 3: up at the car, so they were a quarter mile
[10:31] Speaker 3: away from me, so there was no way it was
[10:33] Speaker 3: anything like that. So that was that was pretty awesome.
[10:38] Speaker 3: And then I, you know, when doing the research and
[10:40] Speaker 3: thinking about that stuff, a lot of people have heard
[10:44] Speaker 3: that type of murmuring, you know.
[10:50] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean I have actually heard that myself,
[10:53] Speaker 1: and it's very very strange. I heard that in Iowa.
[10:58] Speaker 1: It's strange because you're constantly trying to listen as hard
[11:02] Speaker 1: as you can to try to get words out of it,
[11:05] Speaker 1: but there's you can't. There's you're not getting any English words.
[11:11] Speaker 1: It messes with your head. At least that's what I
[11:13] Speaker 1: experienced exactly. My first thought was, you know, where's it
[11:17] Speaker 1: coming from? Where's this coming from? And I could not.
[11:20] Speaker 2: It was just like every time I turned.
[11:22] Speaker 3: My head, you know, to see if it was coming
[11:25] Speaker 3: from that way, it was just like it was like
[11:27] Speaker 3: in my head more than it was out, you know,
[11:32] Speaker 3: in the air, and my ears picking it up. I
[11:34] Speaker 3: think that's what it felt like to me. But that
[11:38] Speaker 3: that was pretty neat. And I ended up going back
[11:43] Speaker 3: to Florida and getting my motorcycle, and a month later
[11:50] Speaker 3: I had I headed back to Oklahoma because it's just
[11:55] Speaker 3: like it was calling me, you know. I just like
[11:57] Speaker 3: I had to do it, and I didn't have nothing
[11:59] Speaker 3: else to do, so I just jumped on my bike
[12:02] Speaker 3: and headed to my brother's house.
[12:04] Speaker 2: Stayed there.
[12:05] Speaker 3: Ended up selling my motorcycle and buying a little four
[12:08] Speaker 3: wheel drive, and I found the Oklahoma Adventure Trail, sixteen
[12:13] Speaker 3: hundred miles of dirt roads that circumnavigates Oklahoma, and part
[12:21] Speaker 3: of this trail goes through the mountains of southeast Oklahoma,
[12:25] Speaker 3: and that's where everything happened, was right there.
[12:31] Speaker 2: It was pretty awesome.
[12:33] Speaker 1: And is that referring specifically to like the Kayam Cheese
[12:37] Speaker 1: down there?
[12:38] Speaker 2: Exactly the Kiamichi Mountains. And this was.
[12:43] Speaker 3: Like privately owned land that nobody has permission to go
[12:48] Speaker 3: out onto.
[12:48] Speaker 2: You know.
[12:49] Speaker 3: I had to do a lot of research in Flannagle
[12:53] Speaker 3: and kind of sort of to get out there on it.
[12:57] Speaker 3: But I ended up making friends with the owners and
[13:03] Speaker 3: the one guy that's out there that you know, kind
[13:05] Speaker 3: of maintains everything and keeps order, the sheriff of the
[13:10] Speaker 3: mountains up there, and that's in the book. It was
[13:16] Speaker 3: pretty cool. That guy was pretty cool. But there was
[13:22] Speaker 3: well there. They owned so many mountains. It was ridiculous
[13:26] Speaker 3: out there. It was great. But I found the area
[13:32] Speaker 3: that I wanted to go through and it was all
[13:35] Speaker 3: privately owned. So I found like forty acres that was
[13:38] Speaker 3: for sale out there. I got a hold of the
[13:41] Speaker 3: realtor company to get permission to go out there, and
[13:45] Speaker 3: then I had to call a couple other companies to
[13:48] Speaker 3: get permission to go out there, and I tracked down
[13:51] Speaker 3: the logging company that was out there and then talk
[13:54] Speaker 3: to them and they were like, oh yeah, not a problem,
[13:56] Speaker 3: you know, you can come out there. And then I
[13:57] Speaker 3: talked I tracked down the owners of the all the
[14:00] Speaker 3: property and they were like absolutely. If you're not you know,
[14:04] Speaker 3: hurting anything, you're not hunting, don't worry about it. And
[14:11] Speaker 3: so I went out there, started exploring everything and got
[14:14] Speaker 3: in you know, kind of good with the family and
[14:17] Speaker 3: with the guy that was out there, really good. Not
[14:19] Speaker 3: very many people out there. I traveled out there for
[14:22] Speaker 3: seven days. I took dirt roads and everything. Before I
[14:25] Speaker 3: even saw my first person. It was so remote and
[14:33] Speaker 3: I finally I talked to this guy finally, and that's
[14:38] Speaker 3: what I asked him. I'm like, that's the first thing
[14:39] Speaker 3: I want to ask, you know what, have you seen
[14:41] Speaker 3: any bigfoot, any weird stuff? And he's like, he's like, yeah,
[14:46] Speaker 3: I have. He said, one night, I heard a bunch
[14:50] Speaker 3: of ruckus at the feeder beside the barn, and I
[14:53] Speaker 3: came out there with a flashlight and there was three
[14:55] Speaker 3: three of them.
[14:56] Speaker 2: He said.
[14:57] Speaker 3: One of them was as tall, if not tall, taller
[15:00] Speaker 3: than the barn, which would have been like eight to
[15:04] Speaker 3: nine foot tall, and the second one was a little
[15:08] Speaker 3: shorter than the bar and he said, which would have
[15:10] Speaker 3: been about seven seven and a half. And then the
[15:14] Speaker 3: third one was about his size. And this guy was
[15:17] Speaker 3: maybe six two sixty three. And he said, I shine
[15:20] Speaker 3: a light right in the faces. And he said, they
[15:22] Speaker 3: weren't no bears. And he said, I know what a
[15:25] Speaker 3: bear looks like, and that was a that was a
[15:27] Speaker 3: person's face. He said, that was not a monkey. Weren't
[15:32] Speaker 3: a bear.
[15:34] Speaker 2: He said.
[15:35] Speaker 3: The biggest one snorted at him while the other two
[15:39] Speaker 3: backed up across the clearing and then went into the
[15:42] Speaker 3: tree line. And then the biggest one did the same thing,
[15:46] Speaker 3: and they just, you know, looked at each other. He
[15:49] Speaker 3: shined the flashlight right on it, and it looked at him
[15:51] Speaker 3: until it got to the tree line, snorted at him,
[15:56] Speaker 3: and then they disappeared.
[15:59] Speaker 2: And he's like, that is like the main experience I had.
[16:04] Speaker 3: He's like, I've had a few more experiences were something
[16:06] Speaker 3: snorted in my face, you know, in the pitch black
[16:09] Speaker 3: at night when I'm out there. He's like, but other
[16:13] Speaker 3: than that, you know, he's seen he did see he
[16:16] Speaker 3: saw an orb which his family and everybody's like, if
[16:22] Speaker 3: you see an orb, you just go the other way.
[16:24] Speaker 2: You don't even mess with it.
[16:28] Speaker 1: They were like, but go ahead, that's that's really interesting.
[16:33] Speaker 1: That's something I've actually never heard before. Did you ask
[16:37] Speaker 1: him why they learned to just go the other way?
[16:41] Speaker 2: No, big.
[16:45] Speaker 3: Old people like that A lot of times tell you
[16:48] Speaker 3: to do something and don't give you an explanation, and
[16:50] Speaker 3: that's kind.
[16:50] Speaker 1: Of how he had it.
[16:51] Speaker 3: You know, He's like, I never asked, and you know,
[16:54] Speaker 3: it's like, don't go in the tree line at night.
[16:57] Speaker 3: I never asked, and I don't want to know type thing.
[17:01] Speaker 3: And yes, on the other side of the mountain is
[17:04] Speaker 3: like a little community, and I'm probably totally giving away almost,
[17:09] Speaker 3: but if anybody goes up there, they're going to get
[17:11] Speaker 3: in trouble anyway, so they can't. But I drove around
[17:16] Speaker 3: there too to talk to some people on the other
[17:18] Speaker 3: side of that area. So right on the other side
[17:22] Speaker 3: of that mountain where he had his experience, there's a
[17:26] Speaker 3: little community. So I went driving around in there to
[17:29] Speaker 3: get to the downside of that, and I found a
[17:33] Speaker 3: guy that was he had a fire going, and it
[17:37] Speaker 3: was this time of year right here. He had a
[17:40] Speaker 3: fire going, and he was sitting out there and I
[17:42] Speaker 3: come driving up the little dirt road in my little
[17:45] Speaker 3: Chevy Tracker and he waves and I waved, and he's like, hey,
[17:50] Speaker 3: what's going on. He's like, he's like, nobody ever comes
[17:53] Speaker 3: up this road. He's like, he said, he said, you
[17:58] Speaker 3: want to sit, you know, and and.
[18:00] Speaker 2: It's in a while, and I'm like, hey, yeah.
[18:02] Speaker 3: So I got out and we started talking. And that's
[18:07] Speaker 3: one of the first things I asked. I asked about bigfoot,
[18:10] Speaker 3: you know, and if you had any experiences over here,
[18:12] Speaker 3: because on the other side of the mountain there's there's
[18:16] Speaker 3: a guy that saw three of them, and he's like absolutely.
[18:19] Speaker 2: He's like something comes.
[18:20] Speaker 3: Through here at like three or four o'clock in the
[18:21] Speaker 3: morning and slaps our rain barrel a couple times. He
[18:28] Speaker 3: and we just we just say hey, good morning and
[18:30] Speaker 3: go back to sleep, because it's just such a normal
[18:33] Speaker 3: thing now. And he also said that twice an ORB
[18:38] Speaker 3: came up his road and first he thought he thought
[18:42] Speaker 3: I was too at first, because nothing ever comes off
[18:46] Speaker 3: the road, you know, And it wasn't a road you
[18:49] Speaker 3: take a normal car up either. You had to have
[18:51] Speaker 3: a four wheel drive. And he said that he thought
[18:56] Speaker 3: it was like somebody on a motorcycle, but it was
[18:58] Speaker 3: so quiet, not making any noise, bouncing around. It was
[19:01] Speaker 3: just coming up his road. And the first one freaked
[19:05] Speaker 3: him out. He went in the house and he didn't
[19:07] Speaker 3: want to deal with it, and then he was out
[19:10] Speaker 3: there again, and this was like another year because they
[19:14] Speaker 3: had like the spot for a while. He said, this
[19:18] Speaker 3: orb come up the road, so he was going to
[19:20] Speaker 3: go out there and see what it is, you know,
[19:24] Speaker 3: And he walked out to the end of his little
[19:26] Speaker 3: driveway and started walking towards it, and it literally stopped
[19:32] Speaker 3: and went back the opposite way away from him until
[19:35] Speaker 3: it disappeared. So it yeah, he got in its way
[19:40] Speaker 3: and it stopped. And this is what he's saying, My goodness,
[19:47] Speaker 3: and all this is on that Adventure trail that you're
[19:50] Speaker 3: referring to. Yeah, this is all on that same along
[19:54] Speaker 3: the Oklahoma Adventure Trail, right on this mountain, the same
[19:57] Speaker 3: exact mountain. And when you're on top of this mountain,
[20:01] Speaker 3: you're like a compass. Anything like that just goes wacky.
[20:07] Speaker 3: It's just you can't get it north, south east or
[20:11] Speaker 3: west west reading at all on it unless you can
[20:15] Speaker 3: walk around and you got certain spots that it'll be okay,
[20:20] Speaker 3: but most spots on that mountain it just goes wacky.
[20:23] Speaker 2: It's pretty cool.
[20:24] Speaker 1: I wonder why that is. It's got to be some
[20:26] Speaker 1: kind of special metal or.
[20:30] Speaker 2: Something magnetic thing.
[20:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, And that I camped around there. I got permission
[20:39] Speaker 3: to camp around different spots to see if I could
[20:44] Speaker 3: experience anything. And I went and did a lot of hiking.
[20:47] Speaker 3: And I went back, over a period of two years
[20:50] Speaker 3: back and forth to Oklahoma City where I was staying,
[20:53] Speaker 3: and then i'd go out there for a few months.
[20:56] Speaker 3: And every time I went out there, I had some
[21:02] Speaker 3: kind of experience. Like the first one, I was hiking
[21:06] Speaker 3: and I see, I'm hiking a few miles from the
[21:09] Speaker 3: cabin in the middle of nowhere that nobody goes to,
[21:13] Speaker 3: you know, for years, twenty years or more, nobody's been
[21:16] Speaker 3: up in those areas and stuff. And I'm hiking this
[21:22] Speaker 3: cattle trail and I get up and there's a whole
[21:28] Speaker 3: bunch of pigs. So I freeze right there, and I'm
[21:32] Speaker 3: looking around to see if there's any big ones that's
[21:36] Speaker 3: going to be an issue if I got to jump
[21:37] Speaker 3: up climb a tree or something and be stuck up
[21:39] Speaker 3: a tree for the next hour, and there wasn't any
[21:43] Speaker 3: big ones, so I just kind of stopped my foot
[21:46] Speaker 3: and they all disappeared.
[21:48] Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, no problem.
[21:51] Speaker 3: So I go on another maybe twenty thirty yards and
[21:55] Speaker 3: off to my right, about twenty thirty yards into the woods.
[22:00] Speaker 3: It's probably not even I'd say twenty thirty feet, because
[22:03] Speaker 3: it was.
[22:04] Speaker 2: It was right there.
[22:05] Speaker 3: A big old branch just snapped crack, and I took
[22:10] Speaker 3: that as a warning, Hey, I'd probably just scared off
[22:13] Speaker 3: its food or something. And I'm like, hey, okay, no problem.
[22:16] Speaker 3: I said, sorry, I turned around went back the other way,
[22:20] Speaker 3: and as I'm going back the other way, I just
[22:23] Speaker 3: turned around and followed the trail back, and about halfway back,
[22:29] Speaker 3: as I'm walking, there's a big old turkey feather in
[22:33] Speaker 3: the right in the middle of the trail, and I'm
[22:37] Speaker 3: like picking up. I'm like, hey, thank you, you know,
[22:39] Speaker 3: and I stick it in my hat and I kept walking.
[22:42] Speaker 3: And that was pretty neat. And then another time I
[22:45] Speaker 3: was down by the creek camping and I was exploring
[22:50] Speaker 3: around there and across the creek. I went a little
[22:56] Speaker 3: further than I normally go because I left out earlier
[23:01] Speaker 3: that morning, and I took a lunch with me and stuff,
[23:04] Speaker 3: and this is climbing rocks and it took a minute
[23:09] Speaker 3: to get back in there and a lot of energy,
[23:12] Speaker 3: and I had another one crack, big old crack, coming
[23:16] Speaker 3: from just inside the tree line at.
[23:18] Speaker 2: Me, and I'm like, okay, you know, I'm good with that.
[23:23] Speaker 3: And finally, after after doing this for like two years,
[23:28] Speaker 3: we get up to the top of this mountain and
[23:31] Speaker 3: there's a cabin up there that he used to live
[23:33] Speaker 3: in like twenty thirty years ago, and this is where
[23:37] Speaker 3: the experience was at, where he said the three were at,
[23:41] Speaker 3: and the tree line they backed into, you know. And
[23:45] Speaker 3: I said, I want a camp there, right there, and
[23:47] Speaker 3: they trusted me. Now, They're like, you're not going to
[23:49] Speaker 3: tear stuff up. And I helped put new screen around
[23:53] Speaker 3: the cabin and made it look like people lived there
[23:55] Speaker 3: and stuff, you know. So I did some work while
[23:57] Speaker 3: I was there, mode lawn.
[24:00] Speaker 2: Mode, the area of the grass area and stuff.
[24:04] Speaker 3: And I'm like, I want right there, and i want
[24:09] Speaker 3: nothing but that tree line that they backed into in
[24:12] Speaker 3: front of me.
[24:13] Speaker 2: That's that's all I want.
[24:14] Speaker 3: I want right there, and that's where I want to
[24:16] Speaker 3: camp and he's like, yeah, not a problem.
[24:19] Speaker 2: You know. He's like, you can go up there and camp.
[24:21] Speaker 3: And I was literally up there for three months from
[24:27] Speaker 3: let's see, yeah, May, June July. I was up there
[24:32] Speaker 3: from April to July, and it was like July sixth
[24:37] Speaker 3: the day I left, because it was like one hundred
[24:39] Speaker 3: and sixteen degrees it was so hot.
[24:41] Speaker 2: But I finally got up there.
[24:45] Speaker 3: My first experience with him was I woke up in
[24:50] Speaker 3: the middle of the night to go pee, like you know,
[24:52] Speaker 3: and I turned I had lights on my jeep that
[24:55] Speaker 3: I just flick a couple of switches in it lit
[24:58] Speaker 3: up the whole area. And then I had a nice bright,
[25:00] Speaker 3: aligant flashlight. Today, so like three o'clock in the morning,
[25:04] Speaker 3: it was a bright full moon, and I flicked all
[25:08] Speaker 3: my lights on and I go out and I'm shining
[25:11] Speaker 3: my light around just to see if I could see
[25:13] Speaker 3: any eye shines other than deer, and all of a sudden,
[25:19] Speaker 3: on the top of the feeder that wasn't that the
[25:23] Speaker 3: feeder that they were eating out of, on the top
[25:28] Speaker 3: of that feed or something slapped the top of it
[25:31] Speaker 3: four times. This is out in the middle of nowhere
[25:34] Speaker 3: that I know nobody's up there. There's no way anybody's
[25:37] Speaker 3: up there and private land, and I was just like,
[25:45] Speaker 3: I wasn't scared. I was just like, I just got
[25:48] Speaker 3: a birthday cake and there was a file in it
[25:52] Speaker 3: and I got out of jail.
[25:54] Speaker 2: I felt it was like, this is so awesome, you know.
[25:58] Speaker 3: And then I sat there about got my lawn chair
[26:02] Speaker 3: out and I back put my back to my my jeep,
[26:06] Speaker 3: and I sat there and I talked to him for
[26:08] Speaker 3: about thirty forty minutes, and then I went back to bed,
[26:13] Speaker 3: you know, And that was pretty neat. That was a
[26:17] Speaker 3: pretty neat experience. So whatever it was, you know, it's
[26:21] Speaker 3: forced perfect slaps on top of something. Nothing else is
[26:25] Speaker 3: going to do anything like that. Nothing has rhythm like that.
[26:29] Speaker 3: A deer is just going to rut something and same
[26:32] Speaker 3: with the same with a pig. It's just gonna, you know,
[26:36] Speaker 3: randomly do something. So after that, I knew they were
[26:43] Speaker 3: up there. So I found an old pickup truck that
[26:46] Speaker 3: was in the tree line, and I know you're not
[26:48] Speaker 3: supposed to do this, but I left crackers and I
[26:54] Speaker 3: left the crackers in there. Next day they're gone, Mike awesome.
[26:58] Speaker 3: So I left some more. I put a bunch of
[27:01] Speaker 3: dirt around the crackers on the hood, so if anything
[27:07] Speaker 3: walked up there, jumped up there, walked across it, landed
[27:10] Speaker 3: on it. You know, there was just a little spot
[27:13] Speaker 3: where the crackers were. I would see footprints or something
[27:20] Speaker 3: of a bird or a you know, raccoon. Something, didn't it,
[27:24] Speaker 3: And the next day I was eager to check. I
[27:28] Speaker 3: went to go check the next morning and the crackers
[27:31] Speaker 3: were gone and the dirt wasn't disturbed at all. There
[27:34] Speaker 3: was no footprints, nothing on the dirt on the hood
[27:37] Speaker 3: of this old truck.
[27:39] Speaker 2: So I'm like, Okay, this is awesome. So this is good.
[27:42] Speaker 2: So something's coming in here. And so at the.
[27:46] Speaker 3: Same time, I was going slowly exploring a little bit
[27:49] Speaker 3: further out, a little bit further out towards the tree
[27:52] Speaker 3: line and stuff. But I haven't yet gone in that
[27:55] Speaker 3: tree line because I was waiting for an ATV.
[28:00] Speaker 2: Didn't want to walk.
[28:01] Speaker 3: Back in that back in that area, you know, I
[28:03] Speaker 3: wanted to take an ATV back there. So after about
[28:07] Speaker 3: being there for after this experience and being there for
[28:10] Speaker 3: about a week and a half two weeks, I finally
[28:14] Speaker 3: got the ATV that I got it running and everything
[28:17] Speaker 3: got it going, and I took that ATV and lunch
[28:21] Speaker 3: with me back into that area. And as I'm coming
[28:27] Speaker 3: back into that area, there's like this big brier patch.
[28:29] Speaker 3: It was like a dome and I couldn't see what
[28:34] Speaker 3: was behind it or anything. So I'm like slowly putting
[28:36] Speaker 3: around it so I can just like peek, and all
[28:39] Speaker 3: of a sudden, all this debris and everything just comes
[28:41] Speaker 3: out at me in my face, and I mean, I'm
[28:44] Speaker 3: like wiping it off of me.
[28:46] Speaker 2: It's just like stunned me.
[28:47] Speaker 3: I'm just like, ah, what the heck and whatever it
[28:51] Speaker 3: was that fast, you know, diversion boom, watch this, they're
[28:56] Speaker 3: in your face.
[28:56] Speaker 2: I'm out of here. So that's basically what it felt like.
[29:01] Speaker 3: You know, it was just a diversion and it was gone.
[29:05] Speaker 3: But I didn't feel threatened. At no time did I
[29:07] Speaker 3: feel like threatened. I've been in the woods where you
[29:09] Speaker 3: get chills up and down your spine in the back
[29:12] Speaker 3: of your neck, where it's like, uh, I'm getting I'm
[29:15] Speaker 3: getting in the car, I'm out of here, which actually
[29:18] Speaker 3: happened to me just.
[29:21] Speaker 2: Last night.
[29:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, at the cabin here in Georgia, because I'm in
[29:25] Speaker 3: Georgia right now.
[29:27] Speaker 2: In the foothills.
[29:28] Speaker 3: A friend of mine's got a cabin up there, and
[29:31] Speaker 3: we were up there, go up there once in a while,
[29:34] Speaker 3: you know, and just last night I had something like that.
[29:37] Speaker 3: But when I was there, at no time did I
[29:40] Speaker 3: feel that. I never felt threatened. I never felt scared.
[29:44] Speaker 3: I never got the wheellies. It was like a happy feeling,
[29:50] Speaker 3: I think because I maybe I gave them a happy
[29:53] Speaker 3: feeling from the beginning or something, so they gave it
[29:55] Speaker 3: back to me. I don't know, but I never once
[29:58] Speaker 3: felt threatened or scared or anything like that.
[30:01] Speaker 2: I just I felt at home and safe. It was.
[30:04] Speaker 3: It was weird, and but I went back up in
[30:10] Speaker 3: there and that happened, and I still because I didn't
[30:14] Speaker 3: really feel threatened or anything or feel scared. I just kept,
[30:20] Speaker 3: you know, exploring the area. I just went around and
[30:23] Speaker 3: it was about twenty acres back in there that was
[30:26] Speaker 3: fenced in, and I went around the fence and then
[30:30] Speaker 3: I kind of zigzagged through it just to see if
[30:33] Speaker 3: I could see what I could see, you know, and
[30:35] Speaker 3: it's pretty neat, but really nothing. And that was about
[30:41] Speaker 3: three quarters of the day just to cover all that.
[30:44] Speaker 3: So I went back and I did my thing like
[30:48] Speaker 3: I normally do. I had astronaut past I basically lived
[30:51] Speaker 3: off a smoothie astronaut paste though, and I went back
[30:56] Speaker 3: and I made me one of those, and I went
[30:58] Speaker 3: to start to drink it, and right from that spot
[31:02] Speaker 3: where that briar patches, right where they backed in that
[31:07] Speaker 3: he saw them back in.
[31:08] Speaker 2: It was a massive crack.
[31:12] Speaker 3: I mean, it was like a baseball bat breaking over
[31:17] Speaker 3: a baseball in a stadium. It was just so loud,
[31:21] Speaker 3: but you could you could basically clap your hand really loud.
[31:25] Speaker 3: And it sounded like a gunshot out there too. But
[31:27] Speaker 3: I'm not underplaying it. It was a massive crack. And
[31:33] Speaker 3: I know, from being out in the wilderness and knowing
[31:36] Speaker 3: how to survive and stuff, if you make noise and
[31:39] Speaker 3: you're a predator, you don't eat and if you make
[31:41] Speaker 3: noise in your prey, you get eaten. So usually they
[31:46] Speaker 3: don't make noises like that. So that was just a
[31:49] Speaker 3: warning saying, hey, you're in my area.
[31:52] Speaker 4: You know.
[31:53] Speaker 3: Never once did I hear any vocalizations. Maybe I did
[31:56] Speaker 3: towards the very very like last day, but I didn't
[32:00] Speaker 3: hear any vocalizations, no howls, no noises. They didn't bother
[32:06] Speaker 3: me at night, nothing bothered. But I had my jeep
[32:10] Speaker 3: set up. I had a jeep Cherokee, had it set
[32:12] Speaker 3: up where I could just climb in the back and
[32:15] Speaker 3: go to sleep, you know, And because I did not,
[32:20] Speaker 3: I to this day. If you catch me out somewhere
[32:23] Speaker 3: like that, I'm not gonna be sleeping in a tent.
[32:26] Speaker 3: There's You're not gonna get me in a tent.
[32:28] Speaker 1: No, No, is there a reason for that.
[32:33] Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's not. There's bad ones out there. There's
[32:37] Speaker 3: ones that do give you the willies. And I don't
[32:40] Speaker 3: want to be come across one of those and not
[32:44] Speaker 3: have access to my keys and my ignition and get
[32:49] Speaker 3: the heck out of there, you know. I don't want
[32:50] Speaker 3: to be in a little tent. Basically, last night, I
[32:53] Speaker 3: come out of the cabin and my dog normally gives
[32:58] Speaker 3: me trouble. He wants to run away and frolic and
[33:01] Speaker 3: be like, no, I'm not leaving the cabin. And this
[33:03] Speaker 3: was only eleven o'clock at night. He gets right in
[33:06] Speaker 3: the car, no problem, you know, And Rocko and I
[33:12] Speaker 3: thought that was kind of weird, and I was going
[33:14] Speaker 3: to go pee, and then all of a sudden, just
[33:18] Speaker 3: that up my spine in the back of my neck
[33:21] Speaker 3: just like whoa, you know, it was just I had
[33:25] Speaker 3: chills all over and some just told him get in
[33:30] Speaker 3: the car. So I got in the car and I
[33:32] Speaker 3: started driving off, and I still had that feeling driving
[33:36] Speaker 3: up and this is like, how long is a dirt road?
[33:38] Speaker 3: Like two miles miles dirt road, and it's not an
[33:42] Speaker 3: easy dirt road. And I'm driving down that in my
[33:48] Speaker 3: back hat is like wiggling making a noise, and I'm like, well, poop,
[33:53] Speaker 3: it's nunt shut all the way. So I get out
[33:56] Speaker 3: and as soon as I get out, I got that
[33:58] Speaker 3: same feeling again, and I'm like, right up the dirt
[34:01] Speaker 3: road a little bit, not very far, and I slam
[34:05] Speaker 3: my hats down harder, you know, and jump back in
[34:08] Speaker 3: the carrofast and got out of there. And then I
[34:10] Speaker 3: called at him. I was like, hey, some gave me
[34:12] Speaker 3: the hebgb's out there. You very locked the doors, don't
[34:16] Speaker 3: let don't let Bubba out. But yeah, but there I
[34:21] Speaker 3: never really felt at any time. I never felt unsafe
[34:26] Speaker 3: or and and yeah, and I'm not a crazy bold person.
[34:31] Speaker 3: It's just gonna look at the face of death and
[34:35] Speaker 3: fear and just haha.
[34:37] Speaker 4: No, so.
[34:40] Speaker 2: It was neat.
[34:42] Speaker 1: It's my goodness. There's there's a lot to take away
[34:46] Speaker 1: from the Oklahoma thing. One is sometimes you have to
[34:51] Speaker 1: do a lot of work just to get into a
[34:53] Speaker 1: certain area, and and the amount of work that you
[34:57] Speaker 1: did just talking to land donors and things of that nature,
[35:02] Speaker 1: I mean, hats off to you. That's probably the most
[35:04] Speaker 1: work I've ever heard anyone do to get to an area.
[35:07] Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. So that area that you were staying
[35:16] Speaker 1: for a while and you left the crackers out, was
[35:19] Speaker 1: there ever anything that showed up that you weren't expecting
[35:24] Speaker 1: to see any objects or anything after you left those
[35:28] Speaker 1: crackers out?
[35:30] Speaker 2: No, okay, that's the only thing.
[35:33] Speaker 4: Not that.
[35:34] Speaker 3: While I was hiking, of course, the turkey feather, and
[35:38] Speaker 3: then I left an apple half of an apple in
[35:42] Speaker 3: a tree while I was hiking a trail, and then
[35:45] Speaker 3: when I was walking back through, the apple was gone,
[35:47] Speaker 3: and there was a deer antler sitting in the trail
[35:50] Speaker 3: with a triangle rock that was pointing up another trail
[35:54] Speaker 3: that went into these briar bushes that there's no way
[35:57] Speaker 3: I could have walked through, you know, And I kind
[36:03] Speaker 3: of tried to. I'm like, Okay, you want me to
[36:05] Speaker 3: go that way, I'm going that way. It's like, no,
[36:07] Speaker 3: it's ain't happening. And I'm in my shorts and T shirt.
[36:10] Speaker 3: I'm not going through nothing, no briers, that's for sure.
[36:14] Speaker 1: But you're the only one out there for you said
[36:18] Speaker 1: a few months.
[36:19] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, longer than that, way longer than that. I mean,
[36:23] Speaker 3: I'm talking twenty years going up there. Other than somebody
[36:28] Speaker 3: passing through, which is like the main guy that checks
[36:31] Speaker 3: everything out, he might go up there once in a
[36:34] Speaker 3: while to get because the main well, there's a nice
[36:39] Speaker 3: well up there that pumps out some good water. Man
[36:42] Speaker 3: that water was so good and cold. I wouldn't have
[36:44] Speaker 3: survived without that water. It was awesome. But sometimes he
[36:48] Speaker 3: goes up there to get phill his barrel up if
[36:53] Speaker 3: something's up with his pump down there or the water
[36:55] Speaker 3: or something. But other than that, no, nobody's even authorized
[36:59] Speaker 3: to go up there, and it's leased out to this
[37:02] Speaker 3: one guy that for that doesn't deer hunt or anything,
[37:08] Speaker 3: so they lease it out to keep people.
[37:11] Speaker 2: Off of it. Stuff like that.
[37:13] Speaker 3: You know, they had to figure out ways to keep
[37:17] Speaker 3: people off their properties, and those properties were closest to
[37:21] Speaker 3: people that liked to ride their side by sides through,
[37:23] Speaker 3: so they had to take measures to And that's why
[37:27] Speaker 3: they like me being up there too, because I never
[37:31] Speaker 3: nobody ever came up there while I was up there,
[37:33] Speaker 3: but you know, I was more than ready to run
[37:36] Speaker 3: anybody off until MAT's I did find a deer blind
[37:39] Speaker 3: that wasn't supposed to be up there with a camera,
[37:43] Speaker 3: and we got the camera and checked out the SD
[37:45] Speaker 3: card and got the got what the guy looked like
[37:48] Speaker 3: and stuff like that, and then put his camera back
[37:52] Speaker 3: after we took a couple of pictures of us going.
[37:54] Speaker 1: Hey, right exactly. Yeah, that's always fun to do. What
[38:00] Speaker 1: kind of animals were you seeing in that same area.
[38:05] Speaker 2: I've seen? Nope, you stay put. I've seen right off.
[38:13] Speaker 3: I saw a nice bobcat, nice little bobcat that was
[38:16] Speaker 3: pretty cool, and not a whole lot of stuff, you know,
[38:25] Speaker 3: mostly birds. In the evening as the sun was going down,
[38:30] Speaker 3: you could howl and all around you, I mean all
[38:33] Speaker 3: the coyotes would sound off, and pigs.
[38:38] Speaker 2: One night, let's see, I was.
[38:39] Speaker 3: There for a few This was in June, and the
[38:42] Speaker 3: wind actually changed directions that night for the first time
[38:45] Speaker 3: since I've been there. The wind changed directions, and I
[38:50] Speaker 3: guess everything in that area that was smelling me couldn't
[38:55] Speaker 3: smell me no more. So these big ol' hogs came
[38:59] Speaker 3: through that were the size of half the size.
[39:02] Speaker 2: Of my jeep. They were big.
[39:03] Speaker 3: I mean the grass was up to my waist and
[39:06] Speaker 3: these hogs I could see their back over the top
[39:09] Speaker 3: of the and.
[39:14] Speaker 2: Ope, there's Squirt, there's Bobba, and.
[39:17] Speaker 1: That looks like a different dog.
[39:18] Speaker 3: Yeah, he just jumped in. You know where it came from.
[39:24] Speaker 3: And where was I.
[39:29] Speaker 1: H you're talking about really big hogs.
[39:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, the big hogs came walking through. And that same
[39:35] Speaker 3: evening it was crazy. That same evening I saw a
[39:42] Speaker 3: coyote as well in the tree line and the next thing,
[39:48] Speaker 3: you know, the pack of coyotes was trying to take
[39:51] Speaker 3: down a little hog. And for about forty five minutes,
[39:55] Speaker 3: it was the worst noises you could I mean, the
[40:00] Speaker 3: coyotes going after the pigs, squeal and the bigger pigs,
[40:03] Speaker 3: you know, trying to break it up. And you know,
[40:06] Speaker 3: and it started over here and it ended up, you know,
[40:10] Speaker 3: back over this way, and then it was quiet.
[40:14] Speaker 2: Crazy.
[40:14] Speaker 3: I sat out there and listened to it. I'd take
[40:18] Speaker 3: a I had a lawn chair with like a mosquito
[40:20] Speaker 3: net that I'd put over me, and I could sit
[40:22] Speaker 3: out there. But every night at dusk, I mean, when
[40:27] Speaker 3: you wanted to be inside because of the mosquitoes anyway,
[40:29] Speaker 3: But I went in as soon as the sun went down,
[40:36] Speaker 3: and as soon as the sun came up, I came
[40:40] Speaker 3: out of my cheek. But otherwise I didn't explore at night.
[40:43] Speaker 3: I did not go out at night. That's that's not
[40:46] Speaker 3: something that you do. We did it once at midnight,
[40:51] Speaker 3: and I had this guy.
[40:53] Speaker 2: He's like, he's like, uh, what do you want to do?
[40:59] Speaker 2: You know where you go?
[41:00] Speaker 3: And I'm like, dude, I said, I want to go
[41:03] Speaker 3: to somewhere, somewhere at midnight where some nobody's been for
[41:11] Speaker 3: a long time. I said twenty plus years. He's like, well,
[41:14] Speaker 3: that'd be where I grew up. He's like, that'd be
[41:17] Speaker 3: ghost Holler. And I said, Okay, that's that's where you know.
[41:26] Speaker 3: Let's go there. He's like, oh yeah, we had some
[41:28] Speaker 3: weird stuff happen there. He's like some lady and some guy. Nope,
[41:35] Speaker 3: some guy was riding his horse through there one night
[41:39] Speaker 3: and a naked ghost lady jumped on the back of
[41:43] Speaker 3: his horse scared him so bad that he ran his
[41:47] Speaker 3: horse til it dropped, And yeah, I made it the
[41:52] Speaker 3: rest of the way home on foot or something like that,
[41:55] Speaker 3: and crazy story. But I'm like, yeah, that sounds like
[41:58] Speaker 3: a good spot to go for me, you know.
[42:01] Speaker 2: So but nothing really happened.
[42:03] Speaker 3: We sat out there and just listened and listened, and
[42:06] Speaker 3: it was pitch black. You couldn't see nothing, and we
[42:09] Speaker 3: just sat there for about an hour, maybe hour and
[42:12] Speaker 3: a half, and nothing, no noises, know, anything like that.
[42:17] Speaker 3: I tried to do a couple of tree knocks, but
[42:20] Speaker 3: that wasn't there thing, you know, I think they're all
[42:25] Speaker 3: kind of different.
[42:27] Speaker 2: But then there's that day. We're getting to it now,
[42:31] Speaker 2: we're getting to the juicy part. So that day it.
[42:35] Speaker 3: Rained, and this is probably this is in June. I'm
[42:43] Speaker 3: doing something. This is probably in June and late June.
[42:54] Speaker 3: This was three weeks before I left and all this time,
[42:59] Speaker 3: oh oh oh wait, well let's not talk about that yet.
[43:02] Speaker 3: We're going to get to the park where I didn't
[43:05] Speaker 3: leave food out one day. So I left food out
[43:11] Speaker 3: for like a week straight or so, and it was
[43:15] Speaker 3: all gone. And then one day I ran out of crackers.
[43:18] Speaker 3: I had to go back into town and get crackers,
[43:21] Speaker 3: and I'd leave bananas too. I left bananas and the
[43:24] Speaker 3: bananas were gone. So that's how I knew that it
[43:26] Speaker 3: wasn't a raccoon or a bird or something for sure,
[43:31] Speaker 3: because the bananas were gone. But I didn't leave anything.
[43:37] Speaker 3: And I did my hiking for the day, and I
[43:40] Speaker 3: get back to my camp and I made my astronaut
[43:43] Speaker 3: past and I go to drink it and there were
[43:46] Speaker 3: two slaps on top of the old pickup truck that
[43:48] Speaker 3: I would leave the food on, and I'm like that,
[43:54] Speaker 3: I'm just excited, even more excited than the four slaps.
[43:58] Speaker 3: That was just awesome because I know nobody's up there,
[44:01] Speaker 3: and that's communication, whether it's like, give me some more
[44:05] Speaker 3: food or I'm gonna come over there and get it
[44:09] Speaker 3: or whatever. But it was slapping the table saying, hey,
[44:12] Speaker 3: where's my where's my crackers?
[44:15] Speaker 4: You know?
[44:16] Speaker 3: And I thought that was pretty awesome. So I'm like, okay, okay,
[44:20] Speaker 3: you know. So I went over there and I gave
[44:22] Speaker 3: and I left it. That's when I left the banana,
[44:25] Speaker 3: that's right, And because I didn't have any crackers, and
[44:30] Speaker 3: the next day it took the banana was gone, and
[44:32] Speaker 3: I went into town and got more crackers, and I
[44:35] Speaker 3: left crackers two more nights, and then I was like,
[44:38] Speaker 3: I'm not gonna leave them this night. I'most see if
[44:40] Speaker 3: it happens again. I didn't leave them the next afternoon
[44:44] Speaker 3: when I'm about to drink my smoothie, it's two slaps
[44:49] Speaker 3: on top of that sucker. It did it four times
[44:51] Speaker 3: to me that I did not leave anything out there,
[44:55] Speaker 3: And that was so awesome, just to be communicated communication
[45:01] Speaker 3: with one any questions about that.
[45:07] Speaker 1: It's funny because I was actually just gonna ask you
[45:10] Speaker 1: if if you felt there had been any communication between
[45:15] Speaker 1: you and the bigfoot that are living out there, and
[45:19] Speaker 1: you pretty much just answered it, would you think that
[45:23] Speaker 1: would be the main communication that you experienced would be
[45:26] Speaker 1: the slaps when you didn't feed them that time.
[45:30] Speaker 3: Yes, the first night that they slapped four times on
[45:35] Speaker 3: the feeder.
[45:35] Speaker 2: I don't know why.
[45:37] Speaker 3: I don't know what was going on, But when I
[45:39] Speaker 3: walked around there the next day to that feed or
[45:42] Speaker 3: where it happened, all the grass was padded down everywhere
[45:45] Speaker 3: around that feeder. So something was going on around that feeder.
[45:51] Speaker 3: That's all I can figure. And when I shine the
[45:54] Speaker 3: flashlight over that way. It slapped at four times saying hey,
[45:58] Speaker 3: you know, and but that other than the trees breaking,
[46:05] Speaker 3: the branches breaking towards me, that's the only communication.
[46:10] Speaker 2: Toward till towards the end.
[46:14] Speaker 3: I think it mimicked because I the day before I left,
[46:19] Speaker 3: I said, hey, you haven't talked to me.
[46:21] Speaker 2: I'm out there. I talked to it every day.
[46:23] Speaker 3: I stood at the tree line, I walked around that area,
[46:26] Speaker 3: and I talked to the tree line every day like
[46:28] Speaker 3: it was a person. And on the last day that
[46:33] Speaker 3: I was there, second to last day, I was like, hey,
[46:36] Speaker 3: you know, I haven't heard you talk to me. I'd
[46:38] Speaker 3: like to hear your voice, you know, can you say
[46:41] Speaker 3: something to me? And about five minutes later, and this
[46:44] Speaker 3: wasn't a dust, just like two o'clock in the afternoon.
[46:48] Speaker 2: I heard a coyote.
[46:52] Speaker 3: Kind of call a pup whimper and a piggy snort
[46:58] Speaker 3: from over in that area, okay, And that kind of
[47:04] Speaker 3: freaked me out. I'm like, that's awesome. So it knows
[47:10] Speaker 3: what I'm saying, kind of sorder, but it can't say
[47:12] Speaker 3: it back. It just needs more. I can't wait to
[47:17] Speaker 3: go back up there, honest goodness, I'm I plan on
[47:20] Speaker 3: going back up there here pretty soon.
[47:23] Speaker 1: Was that the only sorry was that the only time
[47:26] Speaker 1: that you had requested them to do something like that. Yes,
[47:30] Speaker 1: I would, I would, which I'll see, I would. I
[47:36] Speaker 1: would be curious to see what would happen if you
[47:38] Speaker 1: did that again.
[47:40] Speaker 3: I absolutely ask it for something, Yeah, like I make
[47:43] Speaker 3: a noise or you know, I didn't even you know,
[47:47] Speaker 3: I would tell it when I would eat and it slapped.
[47:51] Speaker 2: The top of the food.
[47:52] Speaker 3: I was picking berries one night, and it slapped the
[47:55] Speaker 3: top of the thing, the truck, and and I put
[48:00] Speaker 3: berries in a cup. I held it up and I said,
[48:04] Speaker 3: come on over here, you know, share some berries with me,
[48:06] Speaker 3: share some dinner with me, And that I requested that.
[48:11] Speaker 3: But that didn't happen, which would have been pretty awesome.
[48:15] Speaker 3: But you can, I guess understanda belie. But yeah, I know,
[48:25] Speaker 3: after that, I kind of kicked myself in the butt, going, man,
[48:27] Speaker 3: I should have been asking it to do stuff all
[48:30] Speaker 3: this time, you know, bring me something, something, you know something.
[48:35] Speaker 3: But yeah, that was the only time I really asked
[48:37] Speaker 3: it to talk to me, So let me hear your
[48:40] Speaker 3: voice and whatnot. But after the slaps and stuff. This
[48:48] Speaker 3: was about two weeks before I left. Right here, I'm
[48:51] Speaker 3: sitting in my jeep. It's raining like crazy, and it's
[48:55] Speaker 3: just a big rainstorm passing by. And about four o'clock,
[48:59] Speaker 3: five o'clock in the evening, the sun was hitting the
[49:02] Speaker 3: tree line. That tree line just perfect where the rain
[49:06] Speaker 3: was gone and it was bright out. So I was
[49:08] Speaker 3: just still sitting in my jeep, just watching the tree
[49:11] Speaker 3: line like I pretty much did every day. And I
[49:15] Speaker 3: see all the trees or green leaves are all moving independently.
[49:20] Speaker 3: I see something two big green things that are glowing
[49:27] Speaker 3: that would move real slow, and they didn't move.
[49:30] Speaker 2: This way or this way. They just kept.
[49:35] Speaker 1: Steve you there.
[49:38] Speaker 5: Uh oh, I think we lost them.
[49:51] Speaker 4: Hello Steve, oh man, now we're messed up.
[50:04] Speaker 1: That was weird.
[50:05] Speaker 2: When no, my phone overheated.
[50:08] Speaker 1: Oh no, I have to go throw it in the snow.
[50:12] Speaker 2: Cool. It's the middle of winter here in my phone overheats. Wow.
[50:18] Speaker 6: Figure, Yeah, okay, where was that at the green we
[50:23] Speaker 6: were we were at You had just put your hands
[50:26] Speaker 6: up because you were talking about like the green something
[50:29] Speaker 6: and then it froze.
[50:30] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[50:32] Speaker 3: So so I see these green things that don't waiver,
[50:38] Speaker 3: don't move with the leaves or anything, and it keeps.
[50:41] Speaker 3: I see one, and then I see two, and then
[50:45] Speaker 3: it slowly goes I mean so slow, it goes back
[50:48] Speaker 3: and I only see what I mean. It's moving that
[50:51] Speaker 3: slow back and forth, so slow. And uh, I'm thinking, oh,
[50:59] Speaker 3: some boy, he's up in a tree stand over there
[51:02] Speaker 3: watching me. This is crazy because it looked like the
[51:05] Speaker 3: reflection of hearing. Let's see.
[51:11] Speaker 2: Like these glasses.
[51:12] Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, yeah, like that.
[51:17] Speaker 2: Greenish orange.
[51:19] Speaker 3: And I'm like, no way, somebody's up there, like watching
[51:23] Speaker 3: or something. And so in the house, he's got some rifles,
[51:33] Speaker 3: old rifles with rifle scopes and stuff like that, just
[51:36] Speaker 3: sitting in there, hanging up all the stuff. Been in
[51:40] Speaker 3: there for twenty years, undisturbed. He just moved to his
[51:42] Speaker 3: brother's house after his brother passed away. But anyways, I
[51:48] Speaker 3: go get a scope. I pull a scope off of
[51:51] Speaker 3: one of the rifles because I don't want to point
[51:52] Speaker 3: a a rifle or anything or to move one of
[51:55] Speaker 3: his rifles. So I popped the scope off the rifle
[51:58] Speaker 3: and I went back out there and I zeroed in
[52:01] Speaker 3: on that.
[52:04] Speaker 2: And I could see it playing.
[52:06] Speaker 3: As as a day what it was, and I'm like
[52:10] Speaker 3: that's what the heck that that's not it's a person face.
[52:15] Speaker 3: Do you know who John Amos is? Like Good Times?
[52:23] Speaker 3: He's a football player.
[52:28] Speaker 2: You could you could google it and look him up.
[52:31] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's uh what else he's on coming to
[52:35] Speaker 1: America too, that old movie.
[52:37] Speaker 3: Yes, Yes, that that's the face. I saw that face
[52:44] Speaker 3: right there, except black, black, black, black, so black. It's
[52:48] Speaker 3: just shiny black, beautiful shiny. You couldn't really see pores,
[52:53] Speaker 3: not really a porous, but I was close enough to
[52:56] Speaker 3: see the poors if it had pors. Eyeballs were big
[53:01] Speaker 3: and greenish orange, and it had a big brow. And
[53:06] Speaker 3: then of course it had hair. And it had hair
[53:09] Speaker 3: like my dog. I mean, just like that nice, beautiful,
[53:14] Speaker 3: nice hair. And I'm just looking at it and I'm like,
[53:19] Speaker 3: you are the most beautifulest thing I have ever seen
[53:23] Speaker 3: in my life.
[53:24] Speaker 2: This is so awesome.
[53:26] Speaker 3: It had the cheekbones perfect with John Amos, same nose
[53:32] Speaker 3: a little bit wider.
[53:34] Speaker 2: The mouth was a picture of mouth like.
[53:36] Speaker 3: The Thing or the Hulk, you know, kind of thick
[53:39] Speaker 3: lips and wide.
[53:41] Speaker 2: It had that. It was just watching me.
[53:46] Speaker 3: We were just looking at each other, and it was
[53:48] Speaker 3: just as interested in me as I wasn't it.
[53:52] Speaker 2: I ended up naming it past. I followed its whole face.
[53:55] Speaker 3: I can see its whole face, and I mean the
[54:00] Speaker 3: crows feet on the eyes right there.
[54:03] Speaker 2: I followed its arm. It was like in one of
[54:05] Speaker 2: those trees. So I followed its.
[54:07] Speaker 3: Arm, and it had beautiful fur, black black as could
[54:09] Speaker 3: be black fur, and it wasn't matted. It was nice
[54:13] Speaker 3: like my dog's fur, basically. And I followed its arm
[54:17] Speaker 3: all the way down and it was hanging on to
[54:20] Speaker 3: the tree with like three fingers, and I couldn't see
[54:24] Speaker 3: its thumb, just hanging on with three fingers, and I
[54:27] Speaker 3: could see the wrinkles in the knuckles. I could see
[54:30] Speaker 3: the fingernails as black under the fingernails, and it didn't
[54:34] Speaker 3: have long, pointy gnarl fingernails, had perfect fingernails and nice hands.
[54:42] Speaker 3: Actually they had nice, big black hands. It was black
[54:45] Speaker 3: and the first stopped at the wrist, which was weird,
[54:51] Speaker 3: but it kind of stopped at the wrist, and there
[54:53] Speaker 3: was I couldn't there was no fur on the back
[54:55] Speaker 3: of the hand.
[54:58] Speaker 2: And I was there.
[55:01] Speaker 3: For like twenty minutes of squinting through this thing, and
[55:04] Speaker 3: I had to readjust and I readjusted and I came
[55:08] Speaker 3: back and I could actually see it now with my
[55:10] Speaker 3: eyes because I was talking to it, and it actually
[55:14] Speaker 3: came out a little further to where I could see
[55:16] Speaker 3: it with.
[55:17] Speaker 2: My eyeballs now.
[55:18] Speaker 3: But I like to broke the scope out anyway just
[55:21] Speaker 3: to see everything was better. And something was across the chest,
[55:27] Speaker 3: something brownish was across the chest that I couldn't really
[55:30] Speaker 3: tell what it was or if it was foliage or
[55:33] Speaker 3: if it was what it was across the chest. And
[55:41] Speaker 3: when I went back, it changed position and I could
[55:44] Speaker 3: see the full hand in the thumb, five fingers in
[55:47] Speaker 3: the thumb, and I'm like, that is so awesome. This
[55:50] Speaker 3: is a big, old, perfect human hand. And this thing
[55:55] Speaker 3: has a human face. It does not not even close
[55:58] Speaker 3: to a gorilla.
[56:00] Speaker 2: It's us. It's got a human face. And it was big.
[56:04] Speaker 2: It was pretty big.
[56:08] Speaker 3: We watched each other until the sun went down that
[56:13] Speaker 3: day and every single evening until I left, except one,
[56:19] Speaker 3: because it was over here to my left, watching me,
[56:27] Speaker 3: maybe wondering if it should approach me or something like that.
[56:30] Speaker 3: I feel if I would have stayed another month, it
[56:32] Speaker 3: probably would have approached me and been comfortable enough or something.
[56:40] Speaker 3: But every evening it was up there watching me, and
[56:43] Speaker 3: we watched each other every evening. And yes, I had
[56:47] Speaker 3: a six hundred time zoom digital camera and guess what,
[56:54] Speaker 3: it wouldn't focus on it no matter what I tried.
[56:56] Speaker 2: I got video of it. It's on my YouTube channel
[57:00] Speaker 2: and you.
[57:00] Speaker 3: Can watch if honestly you can enhance it and stuff
[57:05] Speaker 3: like that. You could see the eyeballs and you can
[57:08] Speaker 3: see it, but you got to have some good equipment
[57:12] Speaker 3: to I mean, I've had a couple of people going,
[57:14] Speaker 3: I see it. That is awesome, and then like my
[57:18] Speaker 3: brother going, you know, you didn't get real footage there,
[57:24] Speaker 3: you know, but yeah, that was so awesome. I was
[57:31] Speaker 3: up there for three weeks like that, and we watched
[57:34] Speaker 3: each other every day. It ate crackers of bananas and about.
[57:41] Speaker 3: It was really hot and I was pretty much filling
[57:46] Speaker 3: up a horse trough full of seventy two degree well
[57:49] Speaker 3: water and soaking in it just to bring my temperature
[57:52] Speaker 3: down and taking showers, you know, at the in the evening, and.
[57:59] Speaker 4: It was souly.
[58:00] Speaker 3: Sixth was the day I left, and probably July fourth
[58:03] Speaker 3: was the day it made those noises to me and stuff.
[58:07] Speaker 2: And then.
[58:09] Speaker 3: July fifth, it was up there in the tree again,
[58:12] Speaker 3: same spot, and we sit there.
[58:15] Speaker 2: I talked to it.
[58:16] Speaker 3: I said, I stood at the tree at the fence line,
[58:20] Speaker 3: and you couldn't walk across the field because of the
[58:23] Speaker 3: grass and the jiggers.
[58:25] Speaker 2: If you don't know where tiggers are, I know.
[58:29] Speaker 3: Don't go to Oklahoma and walk through the grass in
[58:31] Speaker 3: the summertime, right because you're you're gonna have big old
[58:34] Speaker 3: whelps on you. So you stay out of the grass.
[58:38] Speaker 3: So the only way to get to it was going
[58:40] Speaker 3: through that tall grass. And it's just like I didn't
[58:42] Speaker 3: want to ride the ATV through it because they're gonna
[58:44] Speaker 3: get on me. And so I just stood at the fence,
[58:50] Speaker 3: which was about forty yards you know, from it pretty close.
[58:56] Speaker 3: I could see it fully every single day, but the
[58:59] Speaker 3: cam would not focus on it. It would focus on trees, leaves,
[59:04] Speaker 3: everything else around it. But apparently the camera didn't know
[59:07] Speaker 3: what it was.
[59:08] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[59:09] Speaker 3: But no matter how many times I've posted the best
[59:15] Speaker 3: footage I had on my YouTube channel, but I tried
[59:21] Speaker 3: every single day to focus on that thing, and the
[59:24] Speaker 3: camera wouldn't focus on it. It would get around it.
[59:27] Speaker 3: It would see its eyes and that type of thing.
[59:32] Speaker 2: But I could see it plain as day.
[59:34] Speaker 3: I mean it allowed me to actually see it in
[59:37] Speaker 3: the tree after that because I would just stand there
[59:41] Speaker 3: and talk to it and tell it to come over basically,
[59:47] Speaker 3: And yeah, I just talked to it, but I never
[59:51] Speaker 3: asked it other than to come over and have lunch
[59:54] Speaker 3: with me or you know, eat with me, you know,
[59:58] Speaker 3: share some berries with me.
[1:00:00] Speaker 2: Other than that, you know.
[1:00:01] Speaker 3: So apparently they're very they keep to themselves and their
[1:00:06] Speaker 3: territorial But.
[1:00:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I mean, that was it.
[1:00:11] Speaker 3: And the only thing I could figure with the brown
[1:00:13] Speaker 3: thing going across it looked furry, you know, and I
[1:00:20] Speaker 3: was thinking that it was maybe an infant clinging onto
[1:00:24] Speaker 3: her and maybe that was a female because every day
[1:00:31] Speaker 3: that thing was on its chest in the same spot
[1:00:37] Speaker 3: and I couldn't make it out.
[1:00:38] Speaker 2: I didn't see a face.
[1:00:41] Speaker 3: Well I may have seen a face, but I can't
[1:00:45] Speaker 3: say I did.
[1:00:48] Speaker 2: It didn't move, it just.
[1:00:52] Speaker 3: Was there across the chest every day, so I can't
[1:00:56] Speaker 3: say what it was for sure, but it's for bigfoot
[1:01:03] Speaker 3: or you know, pat It was definitely most definitely prominent
[1:01:10] Speaker 3: face everything every single day, intent on looking at me,
[1:01:15] Speaker 3: watching everything I did, and that type of stuff, and
[1:01:19] Speaker 3: never once did I feel threatened.
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: At all.
[1:01:24] Speaker 3: And it did have greenish orange eyes that did not
[1:01:28] Speaker 3: have red eyes.
[1:01:30] Speaker 1: Okay, it's absolutely incredible, Steve. So you mentioned you're going back.
[1:01:38] Speaker 1: Do you have any plans of things you want to
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: do differently for when you go back next time?
[1:01:45] Speaker 3: Not really, Yeah, I mean I think I pretty much. Yeah,
[1:01:49] Speaker 3: I just want to get back up there and do
[1:01:51] Speaker 3: exactly what I did hike and let him know that,
[1:01:54] Speaker 3: you know, I'm not a threat. And every time I
[1:01:58] Speaker 3: come pulling up there, I'm going down the dirt road
[1:02:00] Speaker 3: because it was at least fifteen miles from the closest
[1:02:04] Speaker 3: little town. So you drive a highway and then you
[1:02:08] Speaker 3: take a dirt road and then you hit another dirt
[1:02:11] Speaker 3: road that was like about fifteen miles or so. And
[1:02:14] Speaker 3: every time I get close to the mountain, I would
[1:02:16] Speaker 3: honk my horn. The dar dn't dr dart no, and
[1:02:20] Speaker 3: I would do that saving a haircut thing. And every
[1:02:25] Speaker 3: time I pull up there, I'd do that right when
[1:02:27] Speaker 3: i'd get to the gate. And then if I would
[1:02:30] Speaker 3: just be driving by that mountain, I would do the
[1:02:33] Speaker 3: same thing, the same honk. But yeah, it was just
[1:02:39] Speaker 3: the most incredible experience, and I think just having that
[1:02:43] Speaker 3: experience unlock so much different things for me. It's just
[1:02:50] Speaker 3: incredible because once you see something like that, you.
[1:02:56] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[1:02:56] Speaker 3: I can't say be bold enough to say I know
[1:02:59] Speaker 3: this secrets of the universe, but man, I feel I
[1:03:03] Speaker 3: know the secrets of the universe.
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: Honestly.
[1:03:06] Speaker 3: It opened my mind to just what we are, why
[1:03:10] Speaker 3: we're here, of what's going on. That's a whole different story.
[1:03:17] Speaker 3: It's just it's just crazy how awesome I've I've felt.
[1:03:24] Speaker 2: Ever since then.
[1:03:27] Speaker 1: It's a fascinating account and the coolest thing. A lot
[1:03:31] Speaker 1: of times you hear these accounts and it's like I
[1:03:35] Speaker 1: can't go back or I won't go back, But the
[1:03:38] Speaker 1: cool thing about it is that you are going back.
[1:03:41] Speaker 1: That one really cool.
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: And I've got them.
[1:03:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, I say, it'll be interesting to see what happens
[1:03:48] Speaker 1: after you do go back.
[1:03:49] Speaker 3: Absolutely, if it's kind of like going after seeing it,
[1:03:54] Speaker 3: if they recognize me and that type of thing, or
[1:03:58] Speaker 3: anticipate me coming back or or whatnot, you know, that
[1:04:01] Speaker 3: would be pretty awesome to see to know. And absolutely
[1:04:08] Speaker 3: I can get back out there. There's not a problem
[1:04:11] Speaker 3: with that. And I plan on getting back out there.
[1:04:14] Speaker 3: And I wrote a short little introduction book to everything.
[1:04:20] Speaker 3: That's probably like eighty ninety pages, and it explains from
[1:04:32] Speaker 3: my childhood up until this point what led me to
[1:04:36] Speaker 3: that point right there, to see him to be up there,
[1:04:41] Speaker 3: all the events in my life, kind of chain of
[1:04:43] Speaker 3: events that led me to that.
[1:04:45] Speaker 2: And yeah, that's.
[1:04:47] Speaker 3: Basically what the little introduction book is. And when I
[1:04:49] Speaker 3: go back up there, it's going to be all about them.
[1:04:55] Speaker 2: For sure.
[1:04:56] Speaker 1: Absolutely, I'm going to have the link to that definitely
[1:05:01] Speaker 1: in the show notes or description of wherever people are
[1:05:07] Speaker 1: watching or listening to this. But one last question I
[1:05:10] Speaker 1: wanted to ask you, Steve, is how do electronic devices
[1:05:15] Speaker 1: work up there? Do they ever have anything weird happen
[1:05:19] Speaker 1: to them? Or pretty much just business as usual?
[1:05:23] Speaker 3: No, I had actual one little spot that I could
[1:05:28] Speaker 3: get cell phone, I could actually get a signal. But
[1:05:35] Speaker 3: other than that, no, nothing really weird happened in my
[1:05:39] Speaker 3: phones or cameras or electronic other than the I mean,
[1:05:42] Speaker 3: the compass would go wacky up there, but my phone's
[1:05:47] Speaker 3: never Like I mean, I've been in this spot where
[1:05:51] Speaker 3: uh yeah, okay, up on top of this one mountain.
[1:05:57] Speaker 3: This is in my videos on YouTube. I got the
[1:06:01] Speaker 3: video camera and I'm I'm going back to this old
[1:06:05] Speaker 3: cabin that's on top of this mountain that's on a
[1:06:08] Speaker 3: really old trail by Three Sticks.
[1:06:13] Speaker 2: Monument in.
[1:06:17] Speaker 3: Down in that area in the Caimage Mountains, and you
[1:06:20] Speaker 3: can drive to it Three Sticks Monument, but you can't
[1:06:22] Speaker 3: drive back without a four wheel drive. I'm pretty sure
[1:06:27] Speaker 3: three Sticks monument. It's got to be Three Sticks monument, yes,
[1:06:31] Speaker 3: And I went up there on my four wheel drive.
[1:06:33] Speaker 3: I got some pictures and stuff of me being up
[1:06:36] Speaker 3: there too. But I went back into this cabin and
[1:06:39] Speaker 3: I'm like getting to the cabin and I'm like, hello,
[1:06:43] Speaker 3: anybody you know around here?
[1:06:44] Speaker 2: And I hear.
[1:06:47] Speaker 3: Like fingernails on a metal you know, keep and I'm
[1:06:52] Speaker 3: like that kind of like gave me the wheelies a
[1:06:55] Speaker 3: little bit. And I'm like, hey, anybody here, And all
[1:06:58] Speaker 3: of a sudden, boom them up.
[1:07:00] Speaker 2: Camera goes dead full charge.
[1:07:03] Speaker 3: Yeah, my shut off. I'm like, what the heck? And like,
[1:07:08] Speaker 3: what's going on? I try to turn it back on,
[1:07:10] Speaker 3: you know, it won't turn back on. And then I
[1:07:12] Speaker 3: walked back up a little ways try to turn it
[1:07:15] Speaker 3: back on because I didn't want my focus on the camera.
[1:07:17] Speaker 3: While I'm standing by a cab and I don't know
[1:07:20] Speaker 3: what's it, you know, And it came back on and
[1:07:23] Speaker 3: I had like red in the battery, so whatever, something
[1:07:28] Speaker 3: drained in my battery of my camera. So I'm just
[1:07:30] Speaker 3: like okay. And I actually walked up the road to
[1:07:34] Speaker 3: this place and I kind of had the heavy geevs
[1:07:38] Speaker 3: at that time, like there's something here that doesn't want
[1:07:42] Speaker 3: me here for sure, and it's going to do.
[1:07:44] Speaker 2: Something to me.
[1:07:48] Speaker 3: So I walked back and I had the camera pointing
[1:07:53] Speaker 3: I turned it on.
[1:07:54] Speaker 2: I had my phone or the camera.
[1:07:57] Speaker 3: Pointing behind me as I was walking see if I
[1:08:00] Speaker 3: could anything you like, you know, popped out. Well I
[1:08:04] Speaker 3: was walking back to my car. But that was kind
[1:08:06] Speaker 3: of a creepy moment. But in those areas now, I
[1:08:09] Speaker 3: never really had anything bad, creepy weird other than you know,
[1:08:13] Speaker 3: the experiences I talked.
[1:08:14] Speaker 1: About, Okay, very interesting. I mean, Southeast Oklahoma is full
[1:08:19] Speaker 1: of so much weirdness.
[1:08:21] Speaker 2: It is.
[1:08:22] Speaker 3: It absolutely is. I mean, there's a few other channels
[1:08:29] Speaker 3: like you that are in Oklahoma, just out of Oklahoma,
[1:08:32] Speaker 3: and there's some weird stuff that happens in Oklahoma and
[1:08:36] Speaker 3: people wouldn't think. So I've talked to a few game
[1:08:38] Speaker 3: wardens I know one personally up here and he's a
[1:08:41] Speaker 3: younger guy and he's like no, He's like, no, there
[1:08:45] Speaker 3: ain't nothing like that. And I'm like, oh, you just wait,
[1:08:48] Speaker 3: just like there there is. You just wait because that's
[1:08:52] Speaker 3: the first thing I asked him. I'm like, yeah, any
[1:08:54] Speaker 3: experiences with Bigfoot? And he's like no, He's like, I
[1:08:58] Speaker 3: can't believe you asked me that.
[1:09:01] Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, yeah, here's my book right exactly.
[1:09:05] Speaker 1: There you go. Oh my goodness, Steve, thank you so
[1:09:08] Speaker 1: much for sharing what you've experienced so far. And you know,
[1:09:13] Speaker 1: I just want to say again, listeners, you can check
[1:09:16] Speaker 1: out you can get Steve's book on Amazon, and the
[1:09:20] Speaker 1: link to that is going to be in the description
[1:09:22] Speaker 1: or the show notes for the episode. But definitely keeping
[1:09:26] Speaker 1: keep in touch, Steve. I would love to hear you
[1:09:30] Speaker 1: know things continue to happen when you go back to
[1:09:32] Speaker 1: that property in the future. Would love to hear from you.
[1:09:36] Speaker 3: I can't you know, honestly, I can't wait, and I
[1:09:38] Speaker 3: would figure by maybe not next spring, but next fall
[1:09:43] Speaker 3: I'll be out there, or actually, yeah, next spring I'll
[1:09:48] Speaker 3: be out there for sure.
[1:09:51] Speaker 2: I'll be going back.
[1:09:52] Speaker 3: I'll be done what I'm doing around here because I'm
[1:09:54] Speaker 3: kind of investigating around here a little bit sure and
[1:09:57] Speaker 3: going and seeing stuff. Next weekend we're supposed to go
[1:10:00] Speaker 3: out to the Nantasia National Forest, which is an old
[1:10:05] Speaker 3: rainforest it hasn't been messed with for one hundreds of
[1:10:10] Speaker 3: years or something in North Carolina. So that's going to
[1:10:12] Speaker 3: be exciting.
[1:10:14] Speaker 1: But awesome, good stuff. Well you might have to write
[1:10:17] Speaker 1: a second book, who knows. But yeah, thank you so
[1:10:20] Speaker 1: much for hanging out, Steve, and we'll be keeping in
[1:10:23] Speaker 1: touch with you.
[1:10:24] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, thank you for the interview and everything else.
[1:10:28] Speaker 2: Thanks a lot. This is awesome.
[1:10:30] Speaker 1: Have you ever heard all the accounts of bigfoot activity
[1:10:34] Speaker 1: around Oakridge, Oregon? And you think to yourself, Man, I
[1:10:37] Speaker 1: would love to get out in those woods and experience
[1:10:40] Speaker 1: it for myself. Well, guess what this year you can.
