[1:11] Speaker 3: I had an experience in Mina, Arkansas three weeks ago.
[1:16] Speaker 2: Before that, I was not a Bigfoot believer. Now I
[1:20] Speaker 2: am completely obsessed.
[1:23] Speaker 1: That's amazing.
[1:25] Speaker 3: So and so you want to hear about it.
[1:30] Speaker 1: I would love to hear about it, and then I
[1:32] Speaker 1: will tell you my Mina. I have another Mina account
[1:35] Speaker 1: that's been given to me. I'll tell you that after
[1:37] Speaker 1: you share your story.
[1:39] Speaker 2: Okay, So.
[1:42] Speaker 3: Okay, Well it's about three weeks ago me, my husband,
[1:48] Speaker 3: and a close friend of mine got an Airbnb to
[1:52] Speaker 3: go to Mina, Arkansas. And we primarily were going there
[1:58] Speaker 3: because there is a a what do you call it,
[2:05] Speaker 3: a crystal mine, like a crystal place wherehere we can
[2:10] Speaker 3: go and dig for crystals. And so I looked up
[2:14] Speaker 3: this website of this crystal place, and they also had
[2:20] Speaker 3: a tour that they offered with all these strange things
[2:25] Speaker 3: that's been happening on their property.
[2:27] Speaker 2: And they were.
[2:29] Speaker 3: Also on what is it called, uh Destination Unknown, you know,
[2:35] Speaker 3: some years back because of some strange things that were
[2:38] Speaker 3: happening on their their land. But it had nothing to
[2:40] Speaker 3: do with bigfoot. It was about aliens. But anyways, it
[2:43] Speaker 3: all ties in together. Uh. So we were just intrigued
[2:48] Speaker 3: by that because we we kind of you know, are
[2:50] Speaker 3: into kind of ghostly like stuff and we're just kind
[2:55] Speaker 3: of interested in that. But I've never been you know,
[2:58] Speaker 3: a huge believer of Bigfoot just kind of curious about it.
[3:01] Speaker 3: So anyways, we rented this airbnb was about five miles
[3:05] Speaker 3: away from the crystal place that we were going to
[3:08] Speaker 3: be going to, and we rented it for the weekend,
[3:11] Speaker 3: and we were going to be going and digging for
[3:14] Speaker 3: crystals on a Saturday, and then later on in the
[3:19] Speaker 3: afternoon we were going to be going back and they
[3:21] Speaker 3: were going to give us this four hour tour in
[3:22] Speaker 3: their land to tell us all these weird things that
[3:25] Speaker 3: has happened on their land. So anyways, my friend arrived
[3:31] Speaker 3: at the airbnb on Friday, and she gets serve about
[3:36] Speaker 3: two hours before us because we're coming from Tulsa, which
[3:38] Speaker 3: is about a three hour drive, and she has done
[3:46] Speaker 3: paranormal stuff for years in the past, just on the side.
[3:49] Speaker 3: Me and my husband have never done anything like that,
[3:52] Speaker 3: but we've just been slightly interested in it. But we
[3:55] Speaker 3: weren't going there to try to look for ghosts or
[3:57] Speaker 3: anything weird. We were just going to have a week
[4:00] Speaker 3: and get away.
[4:01] Speaker 2: Anyway, So she's.
[4:02] Speaker 3: There and she starts texting me and she it's daytime
[4:06] Speaker 3: and it's really nice weather. It was like in the seventies,
[4:09] Speaker 3: and she says some really weird stuff is happening here,
[4:15] Speaker 3: and uh, I was like, okay, really, So we're texting
[4:18] Speaker 3: and then she texts back and she's like, no, I'm serious,
[4:21] Speaker 3: I'm hearing I just heard some weird stuff in the
[4:24] Speaker 3: woods and now I just heard a huge, like boom.
[4:28] Speaker 3: And mind you, the airbnb that we got is out
[4:32] Speaker 3: in the middle of the woods. There's nobody around us
[4:34] Speaker 3: for miles. I think the closest neighbor was probably a
[4:39] Speaker 3: couple miles away.
[4:41] Speaker 2: And so.
[4:43] Speaker 3: I was telling her, you know, through texting. I was like, well,
[4:46] Speaker 3: maybe it's one of those bear things, you know that
[4:47] Speaker 3: they shoot up in the air and it makes that boom.
[4:50] Speaker 2: Sound to scare off bears or something. She's like, yeah,
[4:52] Speaker 2: maybe that's what it was.
[4:54] Speaker 3: So we finally get there and she this whole time,
[5:00] Speaker 3: she was sitting outside. There's like a fire pit and
[5:02] Speaker 3: she's sitting outside and the house actually has like a
[5:05] Speaker 3: low fence that goes around the little property there and
[5:10] Speaker 3: then from there on it's just straight you know, forest.
[5:14] Speaker 3: And so we get there and she starts telling us,
[5:17] Speaker 3: you know, what's going on, and she can't explain it,
[5:19] Speaker 3: and we're you know, she's not too freaked out.
[5:21] Speaker 2: About it, but she's just like, you know, something strange
[5:24] Speaker 2: is going on.
[5:24] Speaker 3: So we started grilling, and we started hearing these noises
[5:29] Speaker 3: again in the woods. And it's broad daylight, and the
[5:33] Speaker 3: woods weren't so dense, you know. I don't know if
[5:36] Speaker 3: you've been to Mina, but they're not like totally dense woods,
[5:39] Speaker 3: so you can see in between the trees. And like
[5:42] Speaker 3: I said, it was a clear day and it was sunny,
[5:45] Speaker 3: and we could not see anything making these sounds. And
[5:48] Speaker 3: it sounded like, you know, like large tree branches breaking
[5:53] Speaker 3: or you know, the the large tree branch, you know,
[5:58] Speaker 3: hitting a tree. And then it would stop and we'd
[6:04] Speaker 3: go about our business, and then it's like, you know,
[6:07] Speaker 3: ten fifteen minutes later, the same sound would happen or
[6:10] Speaker 3: slightly a different sound.
[6:11] Speaker 2: Then it sounded like something was hitting the side.
[6:13] Speaker 3: Of the house and we were outside, so we'd go
[6:16] Speaker 3: and it was like the back of the house where
[6:17] Speaker 3: we couldn't see. So we'd walk around and we couldn't
[6:20] Speaker 3: see this is what I can't rep my hat around, Okay.
[6:25] Speaker 3: We couldn't see any evidence of any rocks or any
[6:29] Speaker 3: branches or anything that would be making those sounds if
[6:32] Speaker 3: it was hitting the house, And like I said, there
[6:34] Speaker 3: were times it sounded like something was hitting the house
[6:37] Speaker 3: and other times it sounded like, you know, something was
[6:39] Speaker 3: hitting a tree back in the woods, or you know,
[6:43] Speaker 3: large tree branches breaking. So, like I said, I want
[6:46] Speaker 3: to say, this happened about three or four times within
[6:49] Speaker 3: like you know, thirty to forty five minute increments. Like
[6:53] Speaker 3: if we'd hit the sound, we'd get a little freaked out.
[6:55] Speaker 3: We couldn't see any evidence of it, and then we'd
[6:57] Speaker 3: just kind of brush it off and go on to
[6:59] Speaker 3: barbecue and in visiting. And I started getting so kind
[7:03] Speaker 3: of wigged out about it. I just started feeling a
[7:08] Speaker 3: sense of something. Now, looking back on it, I think
[7:11] Speaker 3: I was just feeling the energy, and it's kind of
[7:15] Speaker 3: hard to explain. I'm still trying to make sense of it,
[7:18] Speaker 3: but there's more to it. So then I'm getting kind
[7:25] Speaker 3: of freaked out. There's a screened in patio. I'm getting
[7:28] Speaker 3: up on the patio because I'm just feeling kind of
[7:31] Speaker 3: exposed right now. I'm feeling like something's watching me. But
[7:35] Speaker 3: my husband and my friend they're just kind of cool
[7:38] Speaker 3: about it. They're not as freaked out as me. But
[7:41] Speaker 3: I was just feeling something out there, and so I
[7:46] Speaker 3: finally was still feeling so on edge. I went inside
[7:48] Speaker 3: and started cleaning things up. By this time, it's starting
[7:51] Speaker 3: to get dark. My husband comes in and it's helping
[7:54] Speaker 3: me and our friend Stacy is outside and she's just
[7:58] Speaker 3: walking around the property because she's like not afraid.
[8:02] Speaker 2: Like I said, she is.
[8:02] Speaker 3: A paranormal investigator, you know, on the side for like
[8:07] Speaker 3: eighteen years. She's an RN though in real life. So
[8:11] Speaker 3: but anyways, so me and my husband are like, well,
[8:14] Speaker 3: maybe we should check on Stacy.
[8:17] Speaker 2: And so I go.
[8:19] Speaker 3: To the front door because I know she's walking around
[8:22] Speaker 3: the property. But it's dark now, and I go to
[8:24] Speaker 3: the front door and I'm still freaked out because I'm
[8:26] Speaker 3: just feeling on edge.
[8:27] Speaker 2: I don't even want to go outside.
[8:30] Speaker 3: So I called to her like three times since she
[8:32] Speaker 3: doesn't answer, and this is when this happens. The loudest
[8:36] Speaker 3: sound I've ever heard in my entire life, and it
[8:40] Speaker 3: wasn't something that hit the house. And this is what
[8:43] Speaker 3: it still shakes me to my core to this day.
[8:47] Speaker 3: It sounded like a sonic boom. The only thing I
[8:50] Speaker 3: can compare it to is as if lightning hit right down.
[8:54] Speaker 2: In front of me. But it was a completely clear day.
[9:00] Speaker 3: It's a sound that was so loud that you can't explain.
[9:04] Speaker 3: It came from nowhere, and it wasn't a sound that
[9:07] Speaker 3: was from far off, and it wasn't a sound that
[9:10] Speaker 3: was hitting the house. And when that sound hit we
[9:14] Speaker 3: hear my friend Stacy's scream, bloody murder, like we're actually
[9:19] Speaker 3: it's like we're in a horror movie out in the
[9:21] Speaker 3: woods right now, that kind of a scream. And so
[9:25] Speaker 3: my husband goes running outside to run to her because
[9:28] Speaker 3: it sounds like her life is in jeopardy. I am shaking.
[9:33] Speaker 3: I'm so afraid just because of the sound. Okay, I
[9:38] Speaker 3: can't even explain to you. This sound was so foreign
[9:41] Speaker 3: and unexplainable. It shook me to my core that I
[9:45] Speaker 3: got on the phone and I called nine to one one,
[9:48] Speaker 3: and I was like, I couldn't I was so shooken up.
[9:52] Speaker 3: I couldn't even find, you know, how to even get
[9:55] Speaker 3: on the dial tone on my on my phone.
[9:57] Speaker 2: And I finally didn't.
[9:58] Speaker 3: I called nine one one and I said, Hey, I'm
[10:01] Speaker 3: out here at a cabin we have this airbnb. We're
[10:04] Speaker 3: hearing strange noises and this huge sound happened, and my
[10:07] Speaker 3: friend out there scream like she's in trouble. My husband's
[10:10] Speaker 3: out there looking for I don't know what's going on.
[10:12] Speaker 3: We need help out here. And I'm someone who I
[10:15] Speaker 3: don't get freaked out. I don't overreact, and the cops
[10:20] Speaker 3: seemed kind of chill and looking back on him like
[10:24] Speaker 3: I'm wondering if he's kind of used to some of
[10:26] Speaker 3: these calls.
[10:27] Speaker 2: But he was like, okay, okay, what's your dress?
[10:31] Speaker 3: And I'm so shook up, like I'm trying to find
[10:33] Speaker 3: it on my phone, the address on the Airbnb and
[10:36] Speaker 3: I finally find it, and I'm just like freaking out.
[10:39] Speaker 2: I was like so scared, I almost locked the door.
[10:41] Speaker 2: I'm like, no, Anie, what are you thinking? You can't
[10:43] Speaker 2: lock them out?
[10:43] Speaker 3: But I was so terrified I couldn't even go outside
[10:45] Speaker 3: to see if they were okay. All I could do
[10:48] Speaker 3: was call for help.
[10:50] Speaker 2: And so I'm on the phone.
[10:53] Speaker 3: And he's dispatching. You can hear him dispatching a police
[10:56] Speaker 3: officer to come out, asking me again the address, and
[10:58] Speaker 3: he's like, okay, all calm, an officer's on his way
[11:02] Speaker 3: out there. And so I finally open up the door
[11:04] Speaker 3: and I see my husband and my friend walking around
[11:08] Speaker 3: the corner all calm, and I'm like, what is going on?
[11:12] Speaker 3: And they're like, no, it's okay.
[11:14] Speaker 2: And I'm like, what do you mean it's okay? Did
[11:16] Speaker 2: you not just hear that you all freaked out?
[11:18] Speaker 3: You screamed like you were out there getting you know,
[11:23] Speaker 3: slaughtered or something, you know. And she's like, no, I
[11:26] Speaker 3: just I got scared. I just had this feeling something
[11:28] Speaker 3: was going to hit me on the head.
[11:29] Speaker 2: You know. They were downplaying it.
[11:32] Speaker 3: But and so I'm still on the phone with the
[11:35] Speaker 3: cop and he's like, do you still need a sky
[11:38] Speaker 3: I was like, I'm on the phone with nine one one,
[11:39] Speaker 3: and they were like, oh no, get off the phone.
[11:41] Speaker 3: What are you doing, like acting as if I'm overreacting.
[11:46] Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I've never been this scared of my
[11:48] Speaker 3: life because of that sound.
[11:52] Speaker 2: It's unexplainable.
[11:54] Speaker 3: So then the cops like, I hear your friends, do
[11:57] Speaker 3: what we still need to come out? And I was like,
[11:59] Speaker 3: I guess, and I was just in shock, and I go,
[12:03] Speaker 3: I don't know what to say. I can't explain this.
[12:06] Speaker 3: I don't know if this is some kind of bigfootsh
[12:08] Speaker 3: like and I sounded crazy. I felt like I was
[12:10] Speaker 3: sounding crazy just saying that to the cop, but he
[12:14] Speaker 3: was like, okay, like no big deal. And so he's like, okay, well,
[12:18] Speaker 3: i'm gonna let you go. If you need us, call
[12:20] Speaker 3: us back. So I hang up and they're trying to
[12:22] Speaker 3: calm me down and we're talking about everything that happened.
[12:26] Speaker 3: So we were I was asking her did she see
[12:29] Speaker 3: anything what happened when she was out there investigating, and
[12:32] Speaker 3: she was out there, she had one of those high
[12:35] Speaker 3: powered flashlights you know that you can see really far.
[12:38] Speaker 3: She was out there shining that everywhere in videotaping, looking
[12:42] Speaker 3: in the woods. Because she's like, I felt like I
[12:44] Speaker 3: could fill something out there and hear something, and there's
[12:47] Speaker 3: no I was going to go out there and look
[12:49] Speaker 3: in the dark.
[12:49] Speaker 2: But she's all about it.
[12:52] Speaker 3: So she said, I just felt like I could see
[12:55] Speaker 3: something but I couldn't make it out. And then I
[12:58] Speaker 3: heard that sound, and I heard that sound, I felt
[13:01] Speaker 3: like my life was in danger, and that's why I
[13:03] Speaker 3: screamed like that. So I said, let's look at your video.
[13:07] Speaker 3: Let's look at your video. So she pulls her video
[13:09] Speaker 3: up and we have all of this and so, okay,
[13:17] Speaker 3: imagine this there's like, you know, one of those like
[13:20] Speaker 3: short wire fences that they have like out in the woods.
[13:23] Speaker 3: So it's not like it's just something to maybe it's
[13:27] Speaker 3: not even going to really keep anything out, like you
[13:29] Speaker 3: could step over it, do you know what I mean.
[13:32] Speaker 3: So it's just a small barrier, not even really a fence.
[13:35] Speaker 3: So she was filming and she had that flashlight, and
[13:40] Speaker 3: there's a tree there and at the bottom of the
[13:42] Speaker 3: tree and it was probably I want to say, no
[13:47] Speaker 3: more than ten I want to say, even like five
[13:49] Speaker 3: feet away from her, five to ten feet away, no
[13:52] Speaker 3: more than ten feet away from her. It's like you
[13:56] Speaker 3: see at the bottom of the tree, like it looks
[14:01] Speaker 3: like brown fur, but it looks like so your mind
[14:07] Speaker 3: is trying to, you know, like figure out what this is,
[14:10] Speaker 3: trying to register it.
[14:12] Speaker 2: And to me, it looked like it was like.
[14:16] Speaker 3: A few different primates hiding but hiding their face and
[14:23] Speaker 3: trying to blend into the tree, into the ground.
