In this episode, we explore the repeated encounters reported in and around Eureka, Montana, a quiet border town set against the Canadian line and surrounded by forests, ravines, and long-traveled wildlife corridors. Living on a rural property shaped by harsh winters and open ranch land, our guest shares a series of experiences that unfolded over multiple seasons and nights. From close-range sightings near the home to tracks of varying sizes found along fence lines and travel routes, the activity described appears ongoing and deeply connected to the landscape. As the story develops, patterns emerge that extend beyond a single property. Movement through ravines, unexplained disturbances around buildings, nighttime sounds carrying across the land, and physical evidence left behind all reflect conditions familiar to longtime residents of northern Montana. These accounts echo regional knowledge passed quietly between neighbors and across generations. This episode also includes accounts from Ohio, Kentucky and Oklahoma. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? [0:00] Speaker 1: You're listening to Big Flat Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron.
[0:03] Speaker 1: In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to
[0:05] Speaker 1: bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've
[0:08] Speaker 1: seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers
[0:12] Speaker 1: to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,
[0:16] Speaker 1: and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.
[0:20] Speaker 1: These are the voices of the people who've lived it.
[0:24] Speaker 1: To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that
[0:27] Speaker 1: just might change the way you see the woods forever.
[0:30] Speaker 1: To stay with us. Hi there, how's it going, Let's
[0:32] Speaker 1: go Okay, that's going to you.
[0:36] Speaker 2: All right. I wanted to share this with someone for
[0:38] Speaker 2: quite a while, and I haven't had a chance. Lifeguid
[0:41] Speaker 2: in the way all the time. But when I was
[0:44] Speaker 2: nine years old, I was delivering a family member's cigarettes
[0:54] Speaker 2: that they had left at my house an hour or
[0:56] Speaker 2: so previous. They called wanted me to run it to them.
[0:59] Speaker 2: It's just at the end of the bottom where I
[1:01] Speaker 2: live here. I live in southeastern Kentucky. On my way
[1:06] Speaker 2: to go see this relative, I had a noise that
[1:11] Speaker 2: was made between my house and theirs. We had two buildings,
[1:15] Speaker 2: a storage building and a pump house, which was made
[1:17] Speaker 2: out of block with a wooden roof. As I heard
[1:21] Speaker 2: the noise, I turned right and I looked over and
[1:24] Speaker 2: I saw a creature that was humanoid in form. But
[1:27] Speaker 2: it didn't make sense because it was almost as wide
[1:29] Speaker 2: as the pump house. It was also had its arm.
[1:34] Speaker 2: I could physically see it's the outline of its arm
[1:38] Speaker 2: laying on top of the pump house. Now, the roof
[1:40] Speaker 2: of this pump house was eight foot three, so it
[1:43] Speaker 2: had to be taller than that, and its head was
[1:45] Speaker 2: another foot and a half above that, at least where
[1:47] Speaker 2: his arm was laying. I panicked, freaked out, ran as
[1:55] Speaker 2: hard as I could. I actually cleared the steps, jump
[1:58] Speaker 2: completely in the house was at It was my aunt
[2:02] Speaker 2: that lived at the other end of the bottom told
[2:04] Speaker 2: her to close the door. Closed the door. She said,
[2:05] Speaker 2: what are you running from? She goes, said, all I
[2:07] Speaker 2: seen was you just throw your head back and just
[2:09] Speaker 2: run like an Olympic track star. She goes, I've never
[2:11] Speaker 2: seen you move like that. Well, as I was telling
[2:14] Speaker 2: her to shut the door, I jumped from the landing
[2:18] Speaker 2: and over the couch or over the coffee table onto
[2:21] Speaker 2: the couch, bounced off the couch, and I was running
[2:23] Speaker 2: down the hallway. I was like trying to make myself
[2:26] Speaker 2: an exit just in case it came through the front door.
[2:30] Speaker 2: My aunt didn't believe me. My mother had gotten a
[2:34] Speaker 2: phone call from her because I was terrified. We lived
[2:39] Speaker 2: at the other end, which I've since bought that property
[2:42] Speaker 2: back two years ago and put a new house here
[2:45] Speaker 2: and I live here again, and I've been kind of
[2:48] Speaker 2: doing soft research when I could, as far as recording
[2:51] Speaker 2: noises and stuff. But there was a definite huge figure
[2:58] Speaker 2: running through the woods, and my aunt and my mother
[3:00] Speaker 2: both brought out guns pistols and was shooting up in
[3:03] Speaker 2: the hills at it. This was let's see, it's seventy five.
[3:09] Speaker 2: It would have been nineteen eighty nine when this happened.
[3:15] Speaker 2: Whatever it was, they must have hit it because it
[3:17] Speaker 2: made a yelping, like a real deep yelping noise, and
[3:22] Speaker 2: then it got even faster going up the hill. And
[3:25] Speaker 2: that was the most terrifying event I've ever had. But
[3:30] Speaker 2: since buying this property here in Virgie, Kentucky, the opposite
[3:35] Speaker 2: hillside from where I saw this being, because we lived
[3:38] Speaker 2: like in a valley in the head of a holler here.
[3:42] Speaker 2: It would have been behind the house and where I
[3:45] Speaker 2: had originally saw it. I put a new house in
[3:48] Speaker 2: that same location where the old house was and bought
[3:51] Speaker 2: the property back. Had moved up here for my retirement.
[3:54] Speaker 2: It just so happened to come in the market and
[3:55] Speaker 2: I was in the area, so I bought it back.
[3:57] Speaker 2: It was a family piece of land. But this the
[4:00] Speaker 2: last two summers, the hills side adjacent to it, to
[4:04] Speaker 2: the right side of the valley as you come up
[4:06] Speaker 2: the road. I've been hearing noises up on top of
[4:10] Speaker 2: that hill, banging noises. I've heard a couple of whoops.
[4:16] Speaker 2: And also one night I was laying in bed and
[4:20] Speaker 2: I was almost asleep, and I started to hear this
[4:22] Speaker 2: hoot out and it was like it was a very
[4:26] Speaker 2: much deeper noise than a regular hoodile. And I know
[4:30] Speaker 2: they could be quite loud at certain species of them,
[4:32] Speaker 2: but this one was almost shaking my windows when it would,
[4:38] Speaker 2: you know, make the noise. So I have cameras up
[4:43] Speaker 2: with my property, and my son had messaged me. When
[4:48] Speaker 2: I picked up my phone, I was trying to look
[4:50] Speaker 2: on the camera and listen to it. Well, I was
[4:52] Speaker 2: listening to noises. You know, I heard tree branches crash,
[4:57] Speaker 2: and I heard the all noises and a couple hoops
[5:02] Speaker 2: further up on the hill, so there was two of
[5:03] Speaker 2: them kind of communicating. I'd messaged my son back and
[5:07] Speaker 2: I told him to get on the cameras and listen,
[5:11] Speaker 2: and he was blown away by all he heard. He goes, Dad,
[5:13] Speaker 2: you know all those years you told me those stories
[5:15] Speaker 2: about that property, I never believed you. But he says
[5:17] Speaker 2: what I heard on that camera that night, he says,
[5:18] Speaker 2: I won one hundred.
[5:19] Speaker 1: Percent believe you.
[5:21] Speaker 2: And that's as far as it's went as of right now.
[5:23] Speaker 2: I just wanted to put that out there, but I
[5:25] Speaker 2: am actively trying to record in audio and video if
[5:30] Speaker 2: I can, and if I get anything, I'll gladly send
[5:34] Speaker 2: it into your show. You can use it if you want.
[5:37] Speaker 1: I would really appreciate that. I'd love to hear or
[5:41] Speaker 1: see anything you got. But man, that's that's so wild.
[5:44] Speaker 1: I mean, you've got a property that you know you
[5:47] Speaker 1: have activity on for at almost at least forty years
[5:52] Speaker 1: and about thirty five to forty years, right, yeah, yeah, yep.
[5:56] Speaker 2: My stepson had actually told me one day this was
[5:59] Speaker 2: not this summer but last summer when I first bought
[6:02] Speaker 2: the property, bag there abandoned my child at home was
[6:04] Speaker 2: still here at the time I had to tear it down.
[6:06] Speaker 2: But he had told me when he was cleaning up
[6:08] Speaker 2: debris and putting them in the burn bear that he
[6:12] Speaker 2: had seen a figure moving on the hillside over there,
[6:15] Speaker 2: and he was quite freaked out because he says, it
[6:16] Speaker 2: didn't make sense. He said it was about twelve foot
[6:19] Speaker 2: tall approximately that was moving, but he couldn't actually see
[6:22] Speaker 2: it clearly. He could see like the outline of it.
[6:25] Speaker 2: So I believe him one hundred percent. But that's about
[6:29] Speaker 2: all I got to say. I just wanted to at
[6:31] Speaker 2: least contribute, you know what I know.
[6:36] Speaker 1: Which I greatly appreciate. Oh, one hundred percent, man bfros Down.
[6:43] Speaker 1: I was going to look up Pike County, Kentucky real quick,
[6:47] Speaker 1: but their website is down, so you probably have you
[6:52] Speaker 1: ever done that, looked out on the sites to see
[6:54] Speaker 1: if your county has other stuff that's gone on.
[6:58] Speaker 2: No, I haven't actually went on websites and tried to,
[7:01] Speaker 2: you know, find other accounts. I have heard several accounts
[7:04] Speaker 2: in the area though, people having stuff, you know, like
[7:08] Speaker 2: sheds broken into that there they were storing like feed
[7:13] Speaker 2: for horses and goats. Also, I heard of an encounter
[7:17] Speaker 2: over in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, that particular one. There was
[7:23] Speaker 2: a guy driving down the road and he looked over
[7:27] Speaker 2: and he saw this figure standing next to the tree.
[7:30] Speaker 2: And what made him look at that particular tree is
[7:32] Speaker 2: there's footsteps walking right up to it in the snow. Now,
[7:36] Speaker 2: I did hear about that one also, but I don't
[7:38] Speaker 2: know any details other than that. But I think he
[7:41] Speaker 2: said that was reported on the BFR, but I'm not
[7:43] Speaker 2: harm sure.
[7:45] Speaker 1: Okay, these are pretty recent ones. It sounds like, Yeah.
[7:50] Speaker 2: The one in Elcorn City, I think was in two
[7:52] Speaker 2: thousand and eight or nine, I want to say, But
[7:57] Speaker 2: mine was way back in eighty nine. And like I said,
[7:59] Speaker 2: I have noises, and I've encountered multiple things on this
[8:04] Speaker 2: property since, like noises, And like one day I was
[8:09] Speaker 2: out in the front yard and there was a huge
[8:12] Speaker 2: tree branch come flying off the hill. But it was
[8:15] Speaker 2: in the hillside across from me, the opposite side of
[8:18] Speaker 2: where I had seen mine. And that's what kind of
[8:21] Speaker 2: made me give it a little bit more credibility and
[8:24] Speaker 2: focus a little bit more on that area. I mean,
[8:27] Speaker 2: tree branches just don't fly, you know, horizontal out of
[8:30] Speaker 2: a tree line.
[8:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, norm absolutely, man, that's wild. You are right in
[8:37] Speaker 1: the thick of it, I know, because Hazzard County is
[8:40] Speaker 1: to your west right. Yes, yep. Hazard County is crazy
[8:44] Speaker 1: that has a lot of activity in it right now.
[8:48] Speaker 1: So I'm sure your county is just as bad.
[8:51] Speaker 3: Oh.
[8:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, this is old coal mining you know area here,
[8:56] Speaker 2: and there's a lot of coal mines and stuff that
[8:58] Speaker 2: have been stripped out, and you know they're open, so
[9:00] Speaker 2: they have a lot of habitats here if they wanted
[9:02] Speaker 2: to come into this area, and there's a lot of
[9:04] Speaker 2: wildlife too that would support them. But you know, if
[9:08] Speaker 2: I get anything, like I said, I'll send it in
[9:10] Speaker 2: and gladly let you attach it to whatever you want
[9:13] Speaker 2: to do.
[9:15] Speaker 4: Well.
[9:15] Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
[9:16] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[9:16] Speaker 1: Email is Bigfoot Society gmail dot com. But thank you
[9:19] Speaker 1: so much, sir for coming up and for sharing your
[9:22] Speaker 1: experiences so far in this area. I really appreciate it.
[9:25] Speaker 6: Very welcome.
[9:26] Speaker 2: I've been a longtime fan and I'll continue to listen
[9:30] Speaker 2: as we go, So thank you much.
[9:32] Speaker 6: For your time.
[9:33] Speaker 1: Thank you, sir. Hey there, Bendalu, how are you what's up, buddy?
[9:36] Speaker 1: How are you hey? Doing well?
[9:39] Speaker 7: Of all?
[9:39] Speaker 1: Yeah, my name's Ryan.
[9:42] Speaker 7: I grew up in northeast Ohio, about ten miles south
[9:45] Speaker 7: of Lake Erie, thirty miles east of Cleveland and a
[9:48] Speaker 7: small little township called Wake, called Leroy Township. Literally we
[9:54] Speaker 7: don't even have a there's no stoplight.
[9:57] Speaker 1: Grew up.
[9:57] Speaker 7: We have twenty eight acres that my family has. There's
[10:00] Speaker 7: a huge ravine, sixty foot waterfall literally within probably a
[10:05] Speaker 7: half mile of my house walking distance. Like I said,
[10:11] Speaker 7: long story short, I mean I've had multiple, you know,
[10:15] Speaker 7: multiple things happened as a child, being in the backyard
[10:19] Speaker 7: plane just catch with my brother, you know, out in
[10:22] Speaker 7: the yard. This is before iPhones, iPads all that stuff. Right,
[10:26] Speaker 7: so we're in the backyard before mom rings the dinner bell. Right.
[10:31] Speaker 7: But there was the very first experience I ever had.
[10:35] Speaker 7: My brother and I were just playing catch, shooting some
[10:37] Speaker 7: hoop in the backyard. And like I said, we have
[10:41] Speaker 7: twenty eight acres, so there was probably a good clearance
[10:44] Speaker 7: maybe an acre and then the woods, right, so the
[10:47] Speaker 7: woodsline was maybe an acre away from where we were
[10:50] Speaker 7: shooting hoops and throwing the ball. Well, it's all something
[10:53] Speaker 7: literally jump out of the tree and run. I mean
[10:57] Speaker 7: the speed was unbelievable, literally unbelievable. And we don't we
[11:02] Speaker 7: didn't have too many coyotes or anything around here at
[11:04] Speaker 7: that time. You know, bearers were very scarce and bears don't.
[11:10] Speaker 7: You know, I know how bears run because now I
[11:13] Speaker 7: live in Asheville, North Carolina, but because I deal with
[11:17] Speaker 7: a lot of black bears. But sorry, I'm rambling, because
[11:20] Speaker 7: it was just scary. It was weird, you know. I
[11:23] Speaker 7: we were sitting there throwing the ball around. All of
[11:25] Speaker 7: a sudden we saw something jump out of a tree
[11:28] Speaker 7: and just dart into the woods like full blown, like
[11:32] Speaker 7: just the craziest speed I've ever seen any animal or
[11:36] Speaker 7: whatever it was move, but it literally came out of
[11:39] Speaker 7: the tree. So that that was the first experience. And
[11:43] Speaker 7: then we had a couple other small, similar ones, like
[11:47] Speaker 7: they weren't weren't as intense. But the last one that
[11:52] Speaker 7: I had I was recently visit because like I said,
[11:55] Speaker 7: it's a family, family property.
[11:56] Speaker 6: I grew up there.
[11:57] Speaker 7: I moved to North Carolina fifteen years ago, but I
[12:00] Speaker 7: come up and I visit all the time. And I
[12:03] Speaker 7: was just there in July for my parents' fifty at
[12:06] Speaker 7: the wedding anniversary and we were all hanging out. I
[12:09] Speaker 7: had a good party, a lot of people there, and
[12:10] Speaker 7: everything's good and we're putting stuff away and it was
[12:15] Speaker 7: like a tree picked up out of the woods and
[12:17] Speaker 7: was carried and just ran through the woods and then thrown.
[12:22] Speaker 7: Just blew my mind, absolutely blew my mind. There's nothing
[12:26] Speaker 7: there's no human that I know they can have the
[12:28] Speaker 7: strength of doing that. So sorry for my rambling.
[12:32] Speaker 1: But anyway, Wow, your first account in Ohio. So when
[12:39] Speaker 1: it it jumped out of the tree, was it running
[12:42] Speaker 1: on two legs or on flock?
[12:43] Speaker 7: Oh, it was definitely on two It was definitely on
[12:46] Speaker 7: took it literally jumped out and it was like a silhouette,
[12:48] Speaker 7: but it was perfect. It was I remember it clear
[12:50] Speaker 7: as day. You know, I was fourteen, fifteen years old,
[12:53] Speaker 7: maybe my brother was twelve. I mean, just crazy stuff,
[12:59] Speaker 7: you know.
[12:59] Speaker 1: It's uh.
[13:00] Speaker 7: And there's also been like my dad also tells stories
[13:03] Speaker 7: about when he first got the property and there was
[13:06] Speaker 7: really no homes built around and him hearing howlings and
[13:11] Speaker 7: and just weird encounters in the woods or like things
[13:14] Speaker 7: that like just just weird, super crazy stuff.
[13:17] Speaker 1: So I I'm.
[13:19] Speaker 7: So so so awesome. I stumbled across your page.
[13:22] Speaker 1: Brother. Yeah, I'm glad, I'm glad you here. Did it
[13:26] Speaker 1: look like it was a blur or could you actually see?
[13:29] Speaker 1: It wasn't details about it.
[13:31] Speaker 7: It wasn't like the predator things that people are talking about,
[13:34] Speaker 7: like the blur.
[13:35] Speaker 3: It wasn't that.
[13:36] Speaker 4: No.
[13:36] Speaker 7: It was definitely a figure that was like bear like,
[13:41] Speaker 7: but up up on two feet, running extremely fast.
[13:48] Speaker 1: M Okay, was it color to it at all?
[13:51] Speaker 7: There wasn't, like like I said, there was. It was
[13:54] Speaker 7: that time of day where the sun's down, it's passed
[13:56] Speaker 7: the tree line. It's a very forested area. I can
[13:59] Speaker 7: send you my exact location here through DM. But yeah,
[14:06] Speaker 7: it was moving extremely fast. You could see it was
[14:10] Speaker 7: one solid figure. Yeah, And like like I said, that
[14:14] Speaker 7: was the the first experience I ever had was the
[14:18] Speaker 7: most intense. Other than that, they were just small, little sighting,
[14:21] Speaker 7: small things in the woods. I've never experienced a predator
[14:26] Speaker 7: like thing that people are talking about. The blanketing, you know,
[14:31] Speaker 7: I'm sure you've heard that.
[14:34] Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, exactly. Remind me of the year that
[14:38] Speaker 1: was ninety seven, ninety eight, ninety seven, okay, yeah, well
[14:43] Speaker 1: ninety seven, ninety eight. Yeah, I was just a kid.
[14:45] Speaker 7: I mean I'm forty now.
[14:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's interesting. I get a lot of Ohio stuff
[14:52] Speaker 1: from down south, but not up there. Just east of Cleveland,
[14:57] Speaker 1: that's interesting.
[14:58] Speaker 7: So thirty miles east of Cleveland, miles south of Lake Erie,
[15:02] Speaker 7: and about about forty five miles west of Erie, PA.
[15:08] Speaker 7: So there's a lot of like I mean, there's big
[15:10] Speaker 7: ravines here. You know, there's a place called Hell's Hollow
[15:14] Speaker 7: to where I guess like a lot of bears go
[15:18] Speaker 7: and they done up and Ohio's not known for bears,
[15:21] Speaker 7: you know, black bears. So and then you also have
[15:24] Speaker 7: a place called Hawking Hills just just south of where
[15:26] Speaker 7: I live, maybe an hour or so, and that's like
[15:31] Speaker 7: an anomaly. Like the structure of all the rocks and
[15:34] Speaker 7: the cave systems is just wild.
[15:38] Speaker 1: Hawking Hills is a very intense bigfoot area too. Actually
[15:45] Speaker 1: a really big festival there that happens every year. But yeah,
[15:49] Speaker 1: oh man, thank you for coming up, dude, And it's
[15:52] Speaker 1: great to hear your accounts, and I'm glad that you
[15:56] Speaker 1: are hopefully able to hang out with us for a bit.
[15:59] Speaker 1: But yeah, man, good stuff, man.
[16:00] Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure, I really appreciate it, dude, I love
[16:02] Speaker 7: what you're doing, and keep on keeping on.
[16:04] Speaker 1: Hey there, how are you, Hi? Hi? How's it going?
[16:11] Speaker 6: I'm good? How are you?
[16:15] Speaker 1: Awesome? Awesome?
[16:16] Speaker 8: Well, I've had different experiences, but I've had more recent experiences,
[16:22] Speaker 8: which I think are more interesting currently.
[16:26] Speaker 5: So I don't really know how.
[16:35] Speaker 1: I don't know.
[16:36] Speaker 5: I don't exactly know how to share it exactly.
[16:47] Speaker 6: Whatever.
[16:49] Speaker 5: I don't know what you would say. I apologize. I
[16:52] Speaker 5: actually didn't expect I was gonna like immediately be on, Oh.
[16:57] Speaker 1: You're okay, yeah, yeah.
[16:59] Speaker 8: Yeah, okay. So in the area that I'm in, I'm
[17:03] Speaker 8: gonna be very honest. I can't really decipher personally, I
[17:07] Speaker 8: can't decipher what I'm seeing. I'm seeing a lot of tracks.
[17:16] Speaker 8: I'm seeing a lot of a lot of things that
[17:21] Speaker 8: just don't make sense. I am not somebody that studies
[17:26] Speaker 8: this kind of whatever you call it, I say, bigfoot,
[17:33] Speaker 8: but I know I've heard as I've been watching y'all off.
[17:38] Speaker 5: And on, and the only reason I even found this kind.
[17:41] Speaker 6: Of whatever you call.
[17:47] Speaker 8: Stream and stuff is because I was so shocked about
[17:53] Speaker 8: for the first time living out in an area that
[17:56] Speaker 8: I consider a little kind of a hotspot, and I
[18:00] Speaker 8: think there's a lot of activity out here that is
[18:03] Speaker 8: probably going I don't know, protect it, which I'm thankful
[18:16] Speaker 8: for in a way, I'm kind of thankful for.
[18:19] Speaker 6: But I also think there might be some I don't know.
[18:23] Speaker 8: I've just been a lot and I don't know how
[18:26] Speaker 8: to decipher any of it, and it's all weird and
[18:29] Speaker 8: it just freaks me out.
[18:31] Speaker 6: So that's all I say.
[18:33] Speaker 1: Okay, okay, would you be able to share at least
[18:40] Speaker 1: one of the weird things that you've seen?
[18:43] Speaker 5: Absolutely?
[18:45] Speaker 1: Okay.
[18:47] Speaker 6: Number one.
[18:48] Speaker 8: All of my gain cameras that I did put up
[18:50] Speaker 8: around my property, every one of.
[18:53] Speaker 5: Them have gone out, every single one of them.
[18:57] Speaker 8: So I actually gag camera footage that I have sored
[19:01] Speaker 8: on my computers and things like that. But these game
[19:07] Speaker 8: cameras are all I mean, they've all been bought purchased
[19:11] Speaker 8: within I guess last year.
[19:13] Speaker 6: None of them.
[19:15] Speaker 8: None of them are recording, they're all turned upside down.
[19:21] Speaker 8: There's this one area on my property. I don't want
[19:26] Speaker 8: to go into any major detail, but there's this one
[19:28] Speaker 8: area on my property, and it doesn't matter how many
[19:32] Speaker 8: times I clear, like the foliage and the trees and
[19:38] Speaker 8: the stuff from my game cameras. They're always turned upside down,
[19:43] Speaker 8: they're always turned off.
[19:46] Speaker 6: And unfortunately, I know this.
[19:47] Speaker 8: Sounds weird, and I don't mean to be weird, but
[19:51] Speaker 8: you and I have messaged before, and ever since I
[19:56] Speaker 8: spoke to you, I will say not a single one.
[20:00] Speaker 5: Of my game cameras have worked since then, since I
[20:03] Speaker 5: transferred him.
[20:04] Speaker 1: From Oh really, oh man, Can you give me any
[20:09] Speaker 1: any hints as to what that message would have been like?
[20:14] Speaker 1: Because I get a lot of emails.
[20:16] Speaker 6: Well, I've been on your show of.
[20:19] Speaker 1: Okay, I was like, you sound familiar. How long ago
[20:24] Speaker 1: was that?
[20:25] Speaker 6: Not long?
[20:26] Speaker 1: Not long? Is this town in Arizona, Oklahoma? That's right? Yeah? Uh,
[20:37] Speaker 1: I don't want to you are Oklahoma? Yeah, because you have, Yes,
[20:48] Speaker 1: it's I can say it's by the border, right, yes, sir, Yes, sir, Yeah,
[20:52] Speaker 1: I remember you. Okay, stuff is still going on?
[20:55] Speaker 8: Yes, well, no, because I've been traveling back and forth
[21:01] Speaker 8: from Texas to Oklahoma. Through the times that i've been gone,
[21:06] Speaker 8: I've taken all my dogs, all this, that and the other.
[21:11] Speaker 5: But now that i've come back, oh, yes, yes, yeah,
[21:16] Speaker 5: it is, yes.
[21:18] Speaker 1: Okay, because they're pretty well, they're pretty close to your
[21:22] Speaker 1: house or where you were saying like they were getting
[21:25] Speaker 1: pretty close.
[21:25] Speaker 6: Yeah, yes, yes, and they are.
[21:28] Speaker 8: I mean there's I've got pictures of the print. There
[21:34] Speaker 8: is no one that is ever going to tell me
[21:37] Speaker 8: that what I saw, what I've experienced, did not happen.
[21:40] Speaker 8: There's not going to be a single You're never going
[21:42] Speaker 8: to be able to say what I experienced did not happen.
[21:46] Speaker 6: It did, it does.
[21:49] Speaker 8: Whatever is going on here, I don't know if it's
[21:51] Speaker 8: a if it's if it's a government.
[21:54] Speaker 5: Fraud to just play with all of us, But I
[21:58] Speaker 5: don't think that's the case.
[22:00] Speaker 6: No, No, remember the window open.
[22:07] Speaker 1: Right right, yep.
[22:09] Speaker 5: As long as that is still intact, all is good.
[22:13] Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha. You're still going out on walks in the
[22:17] Speaker 1: woods and stuff and having stuff happening.
[22:20] Speaker 6: No, no, I am not. No, I am not because
[22:24] Speaker 6: I am. I am not because no I am not. No. Yeah,
[22:30] Speaker 6: it's not there's a no, it's not safe. It's not safe.
[22:35] Speaker 8: It doesn't matter what it is. I'm in an area
[22:38] Speaker 8: where it doesn't matter. If it's a uh a, you know, bobcat,
[22:44] Speaker 8: or if it's a crazy.
[22:45] Speaker 5: Beaver, it doesn't matter. I'm not going out there by.
[22:48] Speaker 1: Myself, right, which is a smart a smart idea, especially
[22:52] Speaker 1: in the area that you're at. From what I remember,
[22:54] Speaker 1: you have a lot of weird stuff out in the woods, yes, sir,
[22:59] Speaker 1: across not just bigfoot.
[23:02] Speaker 6: Not just bigfoot.
[23:03] Speaker 5: A lot of killings, a lot of people disappearing.
[23:07] Speaker 6: But okay, so I'm going to say this to you.
[23:10] Speaker 6: It's okay, okay, And I'm worried about saying it, but
[23:14] Speaker 6: I am going to say this.
[23:17] Speaker 8: Just because it's been bothering me immensely for the last
[23:22] Speaker 8: couple of days.
[23:27] Speaker 6: Okay, the area.
[23:28] Speaker 8: That I am in, this is not an area that
[23:31] Speaker 8: I've been born and raised in.
[23:32] Speaker 6: I want to make that perfectly right.
[23:34] Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. It just it's a beautiful community. I
[23:38] Speaker 5: love these people that it has nothing to do with that.
[23:43] Speaker 8: I do not think we are dealing with a human
[23:46] Speaker 8: out here that is murdering people.
[23:49] Speaker 6: I think I think something is out here and.
[23:57] Speaker 8: There has been a lot of very mysterious deaths, missings,
[24:05] Speaker 8: missing human like young and.
[24:08] Speaker 5: They all seem to be at the time that they
[24:11] Speaker 5: go missing, being.
[24:12] Speaker 8: Very disrespectful to the land that they are living on,
[24:18] Speaker 8: and I think that plays a key part of why
[24:22] Speaker 8: they might have their.
[24:23] Speaker 2: Heads ripped off, their mind.
[24:27] Speaker 8: Oh, dear, I don't mean that you.
[24:32] Speaker 1: You don't mean that literally, no, sir?
[24:34] Speaker 5: No?
[24:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, ok what.
[24:35] Speaker 6: Do you understand what I mean? Like they're out.
[24:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I get it.
[24:39] Speaker 5: They're not being respectful of.
[24:43] Speaker 8: And I feel like this area that I currently live
[24:47] Speaker 8: is a place that I think they actually want you
[24:50] Speaker 8: to be very respectful.
[24:53] Speaker 1: I agree with you, knowing what I know about that area.
[24:58] Speaker 1: It is you do not mess around with. There's a
[25:03] Speaker 1: lot of history to the land.
[25:04] Speaker 6: Yes for sure, yes, sir.
[25:06] Speaker 1: I have you still have people with you on that property, right.
[25:15] Speaker 5: I have everything I need on this Yes.
[25:18] Speaker 1: I mean okay, good good, good, good good, Because I
[25:21] Speaker 1: remember there was like.
[25:24] Speaker 6: No, I don't it's me.
[25:26] Speaker 5: Okay, it's me and my son.
[25:28] Speaker 6: But I'm not worried about that.
[25:30] Speaker 8: But I will say this, the reason I'm not worried
[25:32] Speaker 8: about that is because I I hate to say it,
[25:36] Speaker 8: but I'm not scared of what's out there.
[25:42] Speaker 5: I'm not because I'm not the.
[25:44] Speaker 8: Person out there causing problems or doing damage or being disrespectful.
[25:50] Speaker 6: I feel like whatever is out there, I know, I
[25:53] Speaker 6: know it.
[25:54] Speaker 5: Can go bad, and if it does, I'm on your podcast.
[25:58] Speaker 6: And you can write.
[26:01] Speaker 1: Because you have you have the the people in the town.
[26:06] Speaker 1: They gave you the nickname Bigfoot's Girlfriend, right, Yes, that's you. Yeah, yea, yeah,
[26:13] Speaker 1: I remember that. Yep, I remember that. Well. I'm glad
[26:18] Speaker 1: you're okay down there. It sounds like you're dealing with
[26:20] Speaker 1: some stuff, but it sounds like it's under control.
[26:23] Speaker 8: Is that which I think The main thing that I
[26:26] Speaker 8: want to get across is that I'm worried that there
[26:34] Speaker 8: are people in our community that may be getting caught
[26:37] Speaker 8: up in things that they might actually not be responsible for.
[26:44] Speaker 8: And so I kind of feel like there are people
[26:49] Speaker 8: in this community that might possibly.
[26:51] Speaker 6: Know that if you f brown and you're gonna find.
[26:56] Speaker 1: Out, oh you will.
[27:00] Speaker 8: And it's not coming from the humans or the it's
[27:05] Speaker 8: this is a very spiritual area to a lot of people,
[27:08] Speaker 8: and I understand it.
[27:09] Speaker 6: I respect it, and I just think.
[27:12] Speaker 8: When people come on here and don't respect it, I
[27:14] Speaker 8: think it might turn really.
[27:15] Speaker 1: That for them. Absolutely. Well, I'm glad that you were
[27:23] Speaker 1: able to come up, Jill, and it's good to hear
[27:26] Speaker 1: from you again. Keep me in the loop if stuff
[27:29] Speaker 1: starts to happen, if you want to, if you want
[27:31] Speaker 1: to share it, even if it's off air, just let
[27:34] Speaker 1: you know so.
[27:35] Speaker 5: Now perfectly well, thank you.
[27:37] Speaker 6: It was fun.
[27:38] Speaker 1: You got it, chat pay snowfire. How are you?
[27:42] Speaker 3: I'm doing pretty good.
[27:43] Speaker 2: How are you? Hey?
[27:45] Speaker 1: Doing well? I saw everyone was like, get her up there.
[27:49] Speaker 1: So here you are, feel free to share what your
[27:51] Speaker 1: experience was.
[27:53] Speaker 9: So I several years ago, not twenty twenty, moved up
[28:00] Speaker 9: to Eureka, Montana. It's right there on the border. It's
[28:03] Speaker 9: a border town with Canada, and literally my property, I
[28:09] Speaker 9: had a twenty acre ranch. I was on a dead
[28:12] Speaker 9: end road. I backed up against. My northern fence line
[28:16] Speaker 9: was Canada. And we moved in in the dead of December,
[28:21] Speaker 9: and it took us about.
[28:23] Speaker 3: A month to like.
[28:26] Speaker 9: Kind of get our feet under us, you know, because
[28:28] Speaker 9: we were hodgepodge and horse fences and stuff together. And
[28:33] Speaker 9: I noticed right away, like by the third day, that
[28:36] Speaker 9: my horse, who is like push button gentle broke, was
[28:41] Speaker 9: acting weird. So I started trying to pay attention to
[28:45] Speaker 9: things around and previous two moving to Eureka, I have
[28:50] Speaker 9: seen Bigfoot three different times, all in Montana, all closer
[28:56] Speaker 9: to Calluspell, like really close to the nation to Glacier
[29:00] Speaker 9: National Park. But they were brief. They were really brief,
[29:04] Speaker 9: you know, like saw them once, had pine cones thrown
[29:07] Speaker 9: at me once, and then the other time we saw
[29:12] Speaker 9: two of them down by the lake that was close
[29:15] Speaker 9: to our house up at Many Lakes. But this was different, Like,
[29:21] Speaker 9: I didn't see any telltale sign of Bigfoot around. I
[29:26] Speaker 9: just noticed that the like the elk would come right
[29:30] Speaker 9: through my property. Deer were around sometimes, but I noticed
[29:35] Speaker 9: that both the elk and the deer were very skittish
[29:40] Speaker 9: and for where we were, they shouldn't have been. And
[29:43] Speaker 9: I had a really deep ravine behind my house to
[29:48] Speaker 9: the south and to the west, but the north and
[29:51] Speaker 9: the east were pretty flat, a little bit rolling, you know,
[29:56] Speaker 9: towards the the fence line in the mode part in
[29:59] Speaker 9: the middle. And in February of twenty twenty one, my
[30:05] Speaker 9: son and like I can tell you the exact date,
[30:07] Speaker 9: It was February twenty first, twenty twenty one.
[30:11] Speaker 3: It was my son's twenty.
[30:12] Speaker 9: First birthday, and he was home from the Air Force
[30:15] Speaker 9: and I hadn't seen him in like a year and
[30:17] Speaker 9: a half, and so we had it was a nice
[30:21] Speaker 9: crisp day and we had swapped out my washer and
[30:26] Speaker 9: dryer set that day and the old set was sitting
[30:30] Speaker 9: on the patio. And my house was shaped like a horseshoe,
[30:34] Speaker 9: and the patio was a concrete pad in the middle
[30:37] Speaker 9: of that, like squared off horseshoe, and that's the yard
[30:41] Speaker 9: that the dogs were in. We had it fenced in
[30:43] Speaker 9: with pallets, you know, like I said, makeshift. And we
[30:48] Speaker 9: were all sitting in the living room. It wasn't dusk yet.
[30:53] Speaker 3: It was like.
[30:56] Speaker 9: Four thirty ish, and the sun was starting to said
[31:00] Speaker 9: it like five five thirty, so it was almost time
[31:04] Speaker 9: but not really getting dark. And there was myself, my husband,
[31:10] Speaker 9: my son, his wife, and our roommate were all there.
[31:14] Speaker 9: And the roommate he's a city boy from California, so
[31:19] Speaker 9: he was always like holed up in his bedroom and
[31:23] Speaker 9: he didn't really like the country much. But we're sitting
[31:26] Speaker 9: there talking, waiting for dinner to be done, and all
[31:29] Speaker 9: of a sudden, I realized that I thought there was
[31:32] Speaker 9: a bear out by the dryer, like hunkered, like I
[31:38] Speaker 9: thought I was seeing the hunch of a bear. And
[31:41] Speaker 9: I stood up and I said, what is that? And
[31:44] Speaker 9: my son stood up, and we were looking out the
[31:47] Speaker 9: sliding glass window, and I was like, cause it stood
[31:50] Speaker 9: up and it went up seven and a half feet
[31:55] Speaker 9: and I knew what I was looking at. I could
[31:58] Speaker 9: see the whites of his eyes, like I was twelve
[32:04] Speaker 9: feet from that creature. And my son was like, what
[32:09] Speaker 9: is that? And I said, it's bigfoot. And I the
[32:12] Speaker 9: ripped the sliding door open, and it was already moving.
[32:16] Speaker 9: And I'm assuming it was a mail because I saw
[32:18] Speaker 9: no breasts and like, it was already moving. And it
[32:23] Speaker 9: did that that look you know, where they're half running
[32:27] Speaker 9: and they look back to see where you are, that
[32:29] Speaker 9: that famous look. And it took one step and it
[32:34] Speaker 9: was halfway across my yard. And in the next step,
[32:39] Speaker 9: not a jump, but a step, it stepped right over
[32:43] Speaker 9: my palletts like you and I would step over those
[32:46] Speaker 9: little garden fences that you buy it like Ace hardware.
[32:49] Speaker 9: And it turned back and it just shot down into
[32:53] Speaker 9: that ravine and I was already outside. I was already
[32:56] Speaker 9: at the fence when it was hitting the tree line
[32:58] Speaker 9: at the bottom of the ravine, which was about two hundred.
[33:01] Speaker 3: Feet, and he jumped the fence. I went.
[33:06] Speaker 9: I came back through the house, went out the front
[33:08] Speaker 9: door and around the side, and everybody was like, what
[33:11] Speaker 9: are you doing?
[33:11] Speaker 3: What are you doing? And I was like, that was
[33:13] Speaker 3: a bigfoot.
[33:14] Speaker 9: And I got outside and my son was running down
[33:18] Speaker 9: towards the ravine and I'm like, don't do that. I said,
[33:22] Speaker 9: these things are smart. It saw the color of the
[33:25] Speaker 9: TV through the sliding glass window. It was probably just
[33:29] Speaker 9: being nosy. It's going to flank us. It's going south,
[33:35] Speaker 9: to go east, to go north to come back around,
[33:38] Speaker 9: and it's going to hit us on the west side.
[33:41] Speaker 9: And my son just stopped and he said, yeah, you're right.
[33:44] Speaker 9: Let's go in the house. It's starting to get dark.
[33:46] Speaker 9: Let's grab some flashlights. Well, we ran back in the
[33:50] Speaker 9: house and while we were putting coats and stuff on
[33:53] Speaker 9: because it was pretty crisp, and he was looking for flashlights.
[33:58] Speaker 3: My then partner was like, what's going on, what's going on?
[34:03] Speaker 9: And he was, I don't know. I call him a
[34:05] Speaker 9: wannabee because you know, me and my kids were country people,
[34:09] Speaker 9: were cowboys. We hunt, we fish, we ride horses. My
[34:12] Speaker 9: kids did rodeos. And he wanted to do all that stuff,
[34:16] Speaker 9: but was all talk. And I was just like, I'm
[34:19] Speaker 9: pretty sure that that was a bigfoot.
[34:21] Speaker 3: Like I know what I saw.
[34:23] Speaker 9: And I got on Facebook on the local community page
[34:27] Speaker 9: for Eureka, and I texted, I swear I just saw Bigfoot.
[34:33] Speaker 3: Has anybody ever had this happen? Before?
[34:36] Speaker 9: Set my phone down, went outside with my son with
[34:39] Speaker 9: the flashlight and his phone because he had a better
[34:43] Speaker 9: camera on his phone, and we took probably fifty pictures
[34:47] Speaker 9: and you could clearly see perfect footprints, probably eighteen twenty
[34:55] Speaker 9: twenty five plus. I mean they were everywhere, but you
[34:58] Speaker 9: could see them, and you know, he took pictures. We
[35:02] Speaker 9: measured with his size thirteen boot and it was still
[35:05] Speaker 9: bigger than his size thirteen boot. You could see where
[35:09] Speaker 9: it had stepped onto a pallette that was laying outside
[35:13] Speaker 9: that pallet fence. It stepped on the corner and the
[35:17] Speaker 9: corner broke off, and the part that broke off had
[35:20] Speaker 9: three toes on it and the part that didn't had one,
[35:24] Speaker 9: and it like you could you could clearly see it,
[35:27] Speaker 9: and you could see the dermals, the dermal marks in
[35:31] Speaker 9: that foot, and it had a scar just under its
[35:34] Speaker 9: big toe, and that was the right foot. And then
[35:37] Speaker 9: we measured because I was like, we really need, you know,
[35:41] Speaker 9: because we had gone through this before, just not at
[35:44] Speaker 9: this level, and I said, we need to measure the footprint.
[35:47] Speaker 9: We need to measure from the tip of the toe
[35:50] Speaker 9: to the back of the heel on the next one,
[35:53] Speaker 9: and from the tip of the big toe on the
[35:55] Speaker 9: right foot to the measurement on the bottom of the
[35:59] Speaker 9: left heel.
[36:01] Speaker 3: Was like sixty four freaking inches, that's all I am.
[36:06] Speaker 9: I am seventy inches tall and that is almost my
[36:12] Speaker 9: height in a stride, and the footprints were fifteen and
[36:18] Speaker 9: a half inches long. And like I was freaking out.
[36:23] Speaker 9: We looked and looked, and I heard no sign of it.
[36:26] Speaker 9: I saw no sign of it. We walked to the
[36:29] Speaker 9: north and looked down by the barn, and I was
[36:31] Speaker 9: certain it was going to flank us from the north
[36:34] Speaker 9: or the west, and probably right in between, because there
[36:38] Speaker 9: was a trail and nothing. So we go in and
[36:41] Speaker 9: we're eating and it's dark now, and I had eighty
[36:46] Speaker 9: six answers on my post.
[36:49] Speaker 3: Eighty six in less people less than forty five minutes.
[36:53] Speaker 9: Yeah, And people were like, I've been seeing this my
[36:56] Speaker 9: whole life. I live right down the road from you,
[36:59] Speaker 9: and like you couldn't see any of my neighbors, like none.
[37:05] Speaker 9: And the old guy, the rancher who lived to the
[37:10] Speaker 9: west of us, and he owned.
[37:11] Speaker 3: Quite a bit of land.
[37:13] Speaker 9: His wife texted me and she said, oh, y'all right
[37:16] Speaker 9: over there, and I said yeah, and she said, listen, honey,
[37:19] Speaker 9: I'm eighty six years old and this has been going
[37:22] Speaker 9: on my whole life. And I was like god, and
[37:26] Speaker 9: I said, you know, I'm I'll share, but I just
[37:29] Speaker 9: don't want it to like kill my horses or my
[37:31] Speaker 9: dogs or something.
[37:33] Speaker 3: And she said, you just got to mind your p's
[37:35] Speaker 3: and q's.
[37:35] Speaker 9: She said, they come through a few times a year,
[37:38] Speaker 9: and she said, we just wanted to make.
[37:40] Speaker 3: Sure you were okay.
[37:42] Speaker 9: And then my son, like, I'm trying to get off
[37:45] Speaker 9: the phone with her, and my son is like slapping
[37:47] Speaker 9: my shoulder and he's like.
[37:50] Speaker 3: Mo, mo, mom, you got to read this.
[37:52] Speaker 9: And so I looked down at his phone and it says,
[37:57] Speaker 9: is anybody reading this? Tell her to check her DMS.
[38:02] Speaker 9: So I picked I got off the phone, and I
[38:05] Speaker 9: picked up, you know, my phone, and I scrolled to
[38:08] Speaker 9: on Facebook and this guy had DMed me and I
[38:12] Speaker 9: can't remember his name right now, but he said, you
[38:16] Speaker 9: don't know me, but I'm a professional tracker. Can I
[38:20] Speaker 9: come up? And at this point, it was like seven
[38:24] Speaker 9: point thirty quarter to eight, and he gets up there
[38:28] Speaker 9: at like eight point fifteen and he pulls up in
[38:31] Speaker 9: this big truck and he gets out and we're we're
[38:34] Speaker 9: showing him where I've seen it, and then we show
[38:37] Speaker 9: him the tracks. This guy could clearly see that this
[38:42] Speaker 9: These were human like gigantic tracks, and he's doing the
[38:48] Speaker 9: you know, rubbing his chin and he's like, well, he says, uh,
[38:54] Speaker 9: I'm not going to tell you that this is a
[38:56] Speaker 9: bear or a wool for a bobcat or cougar. He goes,
[39:00] Speaker 9: because it's clearly not. He said, uh, I'm going to
[39:04] Speaker 9: track it and I'll be back, and he left with
[39:07] Speaker 9: my son and he went down the ravine and then
[39:10] Speaker 9: I saw the flashlights going east and then going north
[39:13] Speaker 9: towards the fence line. And about twenty five minutes he
[39:17] Speaker 9: comes back and he says, yeah, he said it like
[39:20] Speaker 9: you said, it ran down into the ravine and then
[39:23] Speaker 9: it ended up heading north.
[39:25] Speaker 3: And I said, yeah, I figured it would.
[39:27] Speaker 9: If you know, if I was wanted to know something,
[39:29] Speaker 9: I would flank something. And I said it's very intelligent
[39:33] Speaker 9: and he said yeah. He said, whatever it is, it's
[39:36] Speaker 9: bipedal and it's heavy, but it's running light.
[39:41] Speaker 3: That's what he said.
[39:42] Speaker 9: It's running light, So to me, that means light footed,
[39:46] Speaker 9: you know, like a like a native, you know, like
[39:49] Speaker 9: when I was.
[39:49] Speaker 3: A kid, I was taught to run lightfooted.
[39:52] Speaker 9: And I was like, okay, so you don't know what
[39:55] Speaker 9: it is, and he goes, yeah, he said, I I
[39:57] Speaker 9: just don't know. I can't say. And I was like,
[40:01] Speaker 9: just then, what did you come up here for? You knew,
[40:03] Speaker 9: like you read what I wrote. He just didn't want
[40:07] Speaker 9: to commit and say this is a bigfoot And so
[40:12] Speaker 9: like we're we're just all jacked up. Adrenaline was going
[40:15] Speaker 9: with everybody in the house, and honestly, my my daughter
[40:20] Speaker 9: in law, she I think she was a little worried.
[40:22] Speaker 9: She was kind of scared, and Billy wanted to like
[40:26] Speaker 9: load up, you know, get out the door.
[40:29] Speaker 3: And I'm like, you're not hunting it, you're tracking it.
[40:31] Speaker 3: There's a difference.
[40:33] Speaker 9: And so I took his I took my handgun away
[40:37] Speaker 9: from him, and I told my son, I said, you
[40:39] Speaker 9: keep my nine millimeter, not that it's going to hurt it,
[40:42] Speaker 9: but you can at least scare it. You keep that
[40:44] Speaker 9: in your pocket, and I'll keep the other one in
[40:46] Speaker 9: my pocket and we'll go do our thing. And so
[40:48] Speaker 9: we went out for probably thirty minutes, and I was freezing,
[40:53] Speaker 9: and so I went inside and then my son was like, yeah, it's,
[40:56] Speaker 9: you know, time to watch a movie or something. And
[41:00] Speaker 9: at this point we're pushing ten o'clock and we're all
[41:04] Speaker 9: relaxed put in a movie, watching it, and all of
[41:09] Speaker 9: a sudden I heard it. My son and my daughter
[41:13] Speaker 9: in law heard it. You hear this flat handed on
[41:18] Speaker 9: the side of my house, like over by my bedroom.
[41:23] Speaker 9: And I just like looked at my son and he
[41:25] Speaker 9: goes yup, I heard it, and I said, did anybody
[41:28] Speaker 9: else hear that? And then Billy he says, well, something
[41:31] Speaker 9: hit the house and I said, yeah, it was a
[41:34] Speaker 9: flat handed slap, and I said, I'm not going outside in.
[41:39] Speaker 3: The pitch dark like this. It's just pitch black. There
[41:42] Speaker 3: were no stars or nothing.
[41:44] Speaker 9: And then we hear another one, and but it was
[41:48] Speaker 9: further up, like my side of the house was actually
[41:51] Speaker 9: should have been like three rooms, but we turned it
[41:54] Speaker 9: into like a master suite. So the front side of
[41:58] Speaker 9: the house was where the hot water he closet was,
[42:01] Speaker 9: and then a walk in closet, and then what we
[42:04] Speaker 9: called the middle room, which was where I had two
[42:07] Speaker 9: big you know, really big dressers, and then the actual
[42:10] Speaker 9: bedroom was to the south, so it ran you know,
[42:15] Speaker 9: northernmost was a hot water heater and the closet, and
[42:18] Speaker 9: then the middle room, and then to the south was
[42:21] Speaker 9: my bedroom. Well, this hit flat handed right in the
[42:26] Speaker 9: middle of my closet and you could hear claws scratch
[42:31] Speaker 9: all the way down the side of the house until
[42:34] Speaker 9: it got to the window in my bedroom and then
[42:36] Speaker 9: it stopped. And my son was like, I'm going outside,
[42:40] Speaker 9: and I was like, I think it's better if you
[42:42] Speaker 9: stay in and he's like no, He's like, I'm going
[42:45] Speaker 9: out there to at least scare it away from the house.
[42:48] Speaker 9: So he went outside and he was out there about
[42:50] Speaker 9: ten minutes and he came in white as a ghost
[42:53] Speaker 9: and he said, Mom, it's really big.
[42:56] Speaker 3: And I said, well, yeah.
[42:57] Speaker 9: It was on the back porch, you know, on the path,
[43:00] Speaker 9: and it was seven and a half eight feet. He goes, no,
[43:03] Speaker 9: this was really big. And I was like, where'd you
[43:08] Speaker 9: see it? And he says, down by the barn. And
[43:11] Speaker 9: you couldn't even see our barn from our house. And
[43:15] Speaker 9: so at this point I said, you know what, I'm
[43:18] Speaker 9: going to move the truck and I'm going to park
[43:21] Speaker 9: my I had an avalanche and in a big diesel truck,
[43:24] Speaker 9: and I said, I'm going to park the avalanche right
[43:27] Speaker 9: next to the house tonight, like right next to my bedroom.
[43:30] Speaker 9: And I so I backed it up in there under
[43:33] Speaker 9: the trees, and there was about five foot between the
[43:38] Speaker 9: edge of the house and the door of the avalanche.
[43:42] Speaker 9: And so we go in and we're all now we're
[43:45] Speaker 9: all jacked up again. You know, it's still late at night,
[43:48] Speaker 9: getting later, and we don't hear anything for a bit,
[43:52] Speaker 9: and my son was like, I feel like this thing
[43:54] Speaker 9: is going to f with us all night long.
[43:57] Speaker 3: And I said, yup.
[43:58] Speaker 9: I said, the key to it now is don't react,
[44:01] Speaker 9: because it's getting a thrill out of the fact that
[44:04] Speaker 9: we're reacting. So it's doing it again and again. It's
[44:07] Speaker 9: like a bad kid. And he was like, yeah, you're
[44:11] Speaker 9: probably right. So him and his wife, you know, they
[44:14] Speaker 9: pull the couch out and they get ready for bed,
[44:16] Speaker 9: and me and Billy go in and we go to bed,
[44:20] Speaker 9: and I am sound asleep. And I mean we went
[44:24] Speaker 9: to bed at like twelve o'clock and I am sound asleep.
[44:29] Speaker 3: And at three.
[44:30] Speaker 9: Thirty eight in the morning, I hear the most primal
[44:35] Speaker 9: guttural growl. I figure it was about six feet or
[44:41] Speaker 9: less from my bedroom window and maybe three feet from
[44:44] Speaker 9: the edge of the dog fence, and like.
[44:48] Speaker 3: It was one of those things where I was.
[44:50] Speaker 9: Asleep and my eyes just popped open and I reached
[44:54] Speaker 9: behind me and I touched Billy and I whispered, did
[44:57] Speaker 9: you hear that? And he says yeah. And I said,
[45:01] Speaker 9: are you going out? And he says no, and neither
[45:03] Speaker 9: are you. And I slept with my forty five right
[45:08] Speaker 9: next to me under the pillow, and I had my
[45:10] Speaker 9: thirty ot six next to the window. He had a
[45:13] Speaker 9: shotgun on his side of the bed, and my son
[45:17] Speaker 9: had his forty five and his three eight out in
[45:21] Speaker 9: the living room. And this was, you know, long after
[45:25] Speaker 9: hunting season, February is nowhere's near hunting season. I stayed
[45:30] Speaker 9: awake and I could hear this thing jumping on the
[45:34] Speaker 9: back of my freaking avalanche. And I knew that it
[45:38] Speaker 9: was jumping because my rear leaf springs squeaked when there was.
[45:44] Speaker 3: There would if you had a heavy load and you
[45:46] Speaker 3: were going over our dirt road, it would squeak.
[45:51] Speaker 9: And so I hear that, and then I hear branches breaking,
[45:54] Speaker 9: and I'm like, what is this thing doing? And it
[45:59] Speaker 9: hit daylight hit at like six point twenty three, and
[46:03] Speaker 9: I was like, I'm not going to go out there
[46:06] Speaker 9: till seven, and I mean seven o'clock hitting was out
[46:10] Speaker 9: the door, still in my pj's, HA had my bathrobe on,
[46:14] Speaker 9: but I put my muck boots on and I'm out
[46:17] Speaker 9: there and there were hundreds of broken I don't want
[46:21] Speaker 9: to say whole branches, but broken sticks out of the
[46:24] Speaker 9: pine tree that was right over my avalanche.
[46:28] Speaker 3: And you could just see this.
[46:30] Speaker 9: You couldn't see footprints on that tanu cover because it's
[46:34] Speaker 9: hard and it's textured, but you could see where something
[46:38] Speaker 9: dirty had been on it, and you could see that
[46:40] Speaker 9: the sticks had fallen on it. But there were sticks everywhere.
[46:44] Speaker 9: My horses, I had two horses there. My horses were
[46:48] Speaker 9: freaked freaked out, just freaked out and ears twitching, eyes
[46:53] Speaker 9: looking funny. And so I walk around the house and
[46:57] Speaker 9: I distinctly saw three different sizes of prints. So I
[47:03] Speaker 9: ran in the house.
[47:04] Speaker 3: I woke my son up, we took pictures of him.
[47:07] Speaker 9: We measured them, so we had the fifteen and a
[47:09] Speaker 9: half inchures. Then we had thirteen and a half and
[47:14] Speaker 9: then we had eighteen and a half, and I'm like,
[47:18] Speaker 9: there's a family of these things. So that must have
[47:22] Speaker 9: been like an adolescent that was messing with us. That
[47:25] Speaker 9: was the seven and a half footer and or so
[47:29] Speaker 9: I thought. And here's where my story gets really cool
[47:34] Speaker 9: is that that day I texted Bobo Fey on Facebook,
[47:41] Speaker 9: like his actual account, and at like midnight that night,
[47:49] Speaker 9: I'm awake that night because I'm like, I know this
[47:51] Speaker 9: thing is going to come back and start again.
[47:53] Speaker 3: And it did, but nothing like the night before.
[47:57] Speaker 9: But Bobo calls me at twelve twenty at night and
[48:02] Speaker 9: he's like, is this Haley, And I'm like I said yeah,
[48:06] Speaker 9: And he was like, can you tell me where you are?
[48:09] Speaker 9: It was like he said, this is great, this is
[48:11] Speaker 9: just great. Can I come up? And I was like, absolutely,
[48:15] Speaker 9: you can come up. I said, I was calling you
[48:17] Speaker 9: to ask you you know what do I do? And
[48:19] Speaker 9: he was like, do you have any place you can
[48:21] Speaker 9: set up immediately as a gifting station?
[48:25] Speaker 3: And I was like I do.
[48:26] Speaker 9: Actually, I said I have two really good spots and
[48:29] Speaker 9: he says, well, pick one and take a toy out
[48:33] Speaker 9: and a feather or a shiny rock or crystal.
[48:38] Speaker 3: And take.
[48:40] Speaker 9: A can of sweet and condensed milkout and open it
[48:45] Speaker 9: and leave it on your gifting station. And I was
[48:48] Speaker 9: like okay, and he's like, I should be there by
[48:51] Speaker 9: six o'clock tonight, and I was like.
[48:54] Speaker 3: Wow, that's a long drive.
[48:56] Speaker 9: And he said, well, I need to get a little sleep,
[48:58] Speaker 9: he said, and packed, you know, get my truck, and
[49:01] Speaker 9: I'll be there as soon as I can. And he
[49:04] Speaker 9: was there by six o'clock the next night. And he
[49:07] Speaker 9: stayed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and he left Thursday afternoon. But
[49:16] Speaker 9: we walked around every day, we left gifts out every day,
[49:20] Speaker 9: and he was like, you definitely have a family up here,
[49:24] Speaker 9: and he said, I'm pretty sure that they like to
[49:26] Speaker 9: go in that old barn down there and dink around.
[49:30] Speaker 9: He said, there's all kinds of you know, signs down
[49:34] Speaker 9: there in your barn. And he said, but I want
[49:38] Speaker 9: to walk with you. I want to walk your property.
[49:42] Speaker 9: And so I walked him down to the ravine and
[49:46] Speaker 9: he showed me where there were signs down there, quite
[49:48] Speaker 9: a lot of them, and he said that was probably
[49:51] Speaker 9: their favorite place.
[49:53] Speaker 3: And then we.
[49:54] Speaker 9: Walked over to another smaller ravine and I said, you know,
[49:58] Speaker 9: this is where I found the first dead elk. And
[50:01] Speaker 9: I said it was really old. And I said, in
[50:04] Speaker 9: what caught me on this?
[50:05] Speaker 3: On that elk?
[50:06] Speaker 9: And I pointed with a stick and I said, there's
[50:09] Speaker 9: teeth marks right here, and those are not the teeth
[50:12] Speaker 9: marks of a wolf or a cougar. And he looked
[50:16] Speaker 9: and he said, yeah, you're right. He said it's probably
[50:19] Speaker 9: He said it was probably killed somehow. He said, I
[50:23] Speaker 9: won't say it was our friends. He goes, but they
[50:25] Speaker 9: ate off it. And he said, then you know wolves
[50:28] Speaker 9: or whatever coyotes came in and cleaned it up. And
[50:31] Speaker 9: I was like, okay. I said, well, here's where it
[50:34] Speaker 9: gets weirder. And we get to the end of that ravine.
[50:37] Speaker 9: We're walking out of it and I said, look up,
[50:40] Speaker 9: and twenty feet up in a freaking tree is another
[50:44] Speaker 9: elk skeleton hanging off this freaking branch and it's it
[50:52] Speaker 9: had one horn on it and one horn on the ground.
[50:55] Speaker 9: It wasn't a very big bull. And he was like,
[50:59] Speaker 9: how long has that been there? And I said since
[51:01] Speaker 9: before we moved here. I said, I've been watching it.
[51:04] Speaker 9: I said, that is not a cougar kill. And he goes, no,
[51:09] Speaker 9: he said, they they would have maybe dragged it ten
[51:11] Speaker 9: or twelve feet up. He said, but that looks like
[51:14] Speaker 9: it's thrown up there. And I said, yeah, that was
[51:18] Speaker 9: what I thought. And so I was like, what did
[51:22] Speaker 9: you want to show me? And he walks me over
[51:24] Speaker 9: by the fence, the Canadian fence, and he said, well,
[51:29] Speaker 9: he said, I think this is a passageway for them.
[51:32] Speaker 9: They follow the elk, just like you thought. He said,
[51:35] Speaker 9: they come through from Canada right here. And there was
[51:39] Speaker 9: this really wide spot where it's it's pretty damp, but
[51:43] Speaker 9: it's not like a crick or a drainage or anything.
[51:47] Speaker 9: It's just like a runoff area. But you could see
[51:51] Speaker 9: where there were many many footprints and it was it
[51:55] Speaker 9: was like muddy, but gravelly. And he said, he said,
[52:01] Speaker 9: I think there's five of them and I was like five,
[52:07] Speaker 9: and he says, yeah, let's walk up a little further. Well,
[52:11] Speaker 9: we ended up we had the eighteen and a half,
[52:14] Speaker 9: the fifteen and a half, the thirteen and a half,
[52:17] Speaker 9: and we had a nine incher And I was like,
[52:21] Speaker 9: I said, you said five and I said I'm seeing
[52:23] Speaker 9: four and he said yeah, he said, we're not there yet.
[52:27] Speaker 9: And then we walked all that like we had walked
[52:30] Speaker 9: a circle at this point, and we're back at the
[52:32] Speaker 9: gifting station, the first one, and he's just standing there
[52:36] Speaker 9: and he's talking and he's like looking around. He kept
[52:39] Speaker 9: looking down, so I looked down and he goes, yeah,
[52:46] Speaker 9: there was a freaking footprint that was twenty two inches
[52:50] Speaker 9: long and about nine inches wide. He pulled his He
[52:55] Speaker 9: pulled his He pulled his tape right out and he said,
[53:00] Speaker 9: I'm going to tell you something he said that most
[53:03] Speaker 9: normal people don't know. He said, but if you take
[53:07] Speaker 9: the length of like you're fifteen and a half inch
[53:11] Speaker 9: er that you found and I said yeah, and he said,
[53:14] Speaker 9: you divide that by two, that's approximately the height within
[53:17] Speaker 9: three inches. And I said, so the seven and a
[53:21] Speaker 9: half maybe eight foot was right on and he said yeah.
[53:25] Speaker 9: He said, I'm going to guess that that was actually
[53:30] Speaker 9: one of the adolescents. He said it was large, but
[53:33] Speaker 9: not fully grown. And I said, well, at this point,
[53:38] Speaker 9: going from twenty two, I said, that's an eleven foot
[53:41] Speaker 9: monster in my opinion, and he says yeah. He said
[53:45] Speaker 9: I've seen him twice down at your barn and I said,
[53:50] Speaker 9: in the dark of the night. He goes, honey, he said,
[53:53] Speaker 9: I've been out here every night, all night, he said,
[53:56] Speaker 9: from like eleven thirty to four o'clock in the morning.
[53:59] Speaker 9: And he said, and it loves to hide between your
[54:02] Speaker 9: horse trailer and the side of that barn because it's
[54:05] Speaker 9: really dark. There's absolutely no light that hits it from anything.
[54:11] Speaker 9: But it can see all the way up to the
[54:13] Speaker 9: ridge before you get to your house, and everything all
[54:17] Speaker 9: the way down and around it. And I was like,
[54:20] Speaker 9: and you think it was eleven foot He says, ten
[54:23] Speaker 9: and a half foot at least. And I was like,
[54:26] Speaker 9: I am so glad that I did not see that,
[54:28] Speaker 9: and he goes, no, but I think your sun did.
[54:32] Speaker 9: And I was like, why do you say that? And
[54:34] Speaker 9: he goes he said, well, first off, he said, that
[54:37] Speaker 9: kid can't lie to save his life. He said, it's
[54:39] Speaker 9: just not in him. And he said he's military trained.
[54:42] Speaker 9: He knows, you know, how to look at something and
[54:45] Speaker 9: say that guy's six foot three. And he goes in.
[54:48] Speaker 9: When he told you that he saw something down by
[54:51] Speaker 9: the barn and it was really big, he's like, you
[54:55] Speaker 9: didn't catch that. It was a different bigfoot.
[55:00] Speaker 3: He said.
[55:00] Speaker 9: You know, he gifted by the way he gifted, like
[55:03] Speaker 9: nerf Bright nerf colored footballs. He gave them sweet and
[55:08] Speaker 9: condensed milk every night. They love to play, the ones
[55:12] Speaker 9: that were there at the house. They loved to play
[55:14] Speaker 9: with pretty shells. And they would hide the shells in
[55:17] Speaker 9: the stump that we were using. So we would pull
[55:21] Speaker 9: them out of the stump, and I mean down in
[55:23] Speaker 9: the freaking sides of the stump, pull them out, put
[55:26] Speaker 9: them on the put them back up on the stump.
[55:29] Speaker 9: You know, leave a different feather, leave a different crystal.
[55:32] Speaker 9: The crystals were always gone. The sweet and condensed cans.
[55:36] Speaker 9: We never even found the cans. He said that that
[55:40] Speaker 9: is like their version of honey.
[55:43] Speaker 3: But we left.
[55:44] Speaker 9: We left food out for them, We left toys out
[55:47] Speaker 9: for them. They left us antlers, really cool stones. Always
[55:53] Speaker 9: hid those shells that I put down there, and like,
[55:56] Speaker 9: I never I've never found any of that stuff.
[55:59] Speaker 4: You know.
[56:00] Speaker 9: I ended up getting COVID and dying.
[56:04] Speaker 3: And being really really sick.
[56:05] Speaker 9: I was in a coma for eight months, and when
[56:08] Speaker 9: I came back, I could not run the freaking ranch,
[56:11] Speaker 9: so I had to sell it. But you know, like
[56:14] Speaker 9: it was really something. They were there three springs in
[56:18] Speaker 9: a row, and they were there three winters in a row,
[56:23] Speaker 9: and I just got to the point where I went
[56:27] Speaker 9: outside one day and I said, look, I know you
[56:29] Speaker 9: guys are here.
[56:29] Speaker 3: I can feel it. Please don't eat.
[56:32] Speaker 9: My dog and don't mess with my horses, and we'll
[56:35] Speaker 9: get along just fine. And you know, my girlfriend that
[56:39] Speaker 9: was with me, she's like, why'd you do that? And
[56:41] Speaker 9: I said, cause they're here. I said, you can hear
[56:43] Speaker 9: these bird like noises. And I said they're called bionic
[56:47] Speaker 9: bird noises. And I said, they make those all the time.
[56:50] Speaker 9: And I said, and you can just tell when the
[56:53] Speaker 9: deer stopped coming, and when the elk aren't around, they
[56:57] Speaker 9: are already here. They're behind them, you know, catching the
[57:02] Speaker 9: elderly elk and the sick elk, and that's what they're eating.
[57:06] Speaker 9: And she was like, I never knew, but all my
[57:09] Speaker 9: neighbors knew. People from across the border would tell me
[57:12] Speaker 9: their stories. And this has been going on up there
[57:15] Speaker 9: for over one hundred years. And I was just the
[57:19] Speaker 9: first person that like put it out there.
[57:23] Speaker 1: One hundred years, one hundred years. How do you know
[57:28] Speaker 1: that it was going back that far?
[57:31] Speaker 3: Well, missus Kre was.
[57:32] Speaker 9: Eighty six, and she said it had been going on
[57:34] Speaker 9: her whole life and before right.
[57:36] Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha, yeah yeah yah, gotcha? Yeah right, Wow, this
[57:39] Speaker 1: isn't absolutely incredible. So much stuff I did not know
[57:44] Speaker 1: from this one story. Uh. And it had fangs, sweet
[57:48] Speaker 1: condensed milk thing like.
[57:51] Speaker 9: It had fangs like it's it's K nine teeth. Its
[57:57] Speaker 9: face was very dark gray, and I could actually see
[58:02] Speaker 9: that it had whites of its eyes. It was not
[58:05] Speaker 9: a hole like all brown or all black eye like
[58:08] Speaker 9: you see like like in the picture that you have
[58:11] Speaker 9: there that looks like it's all black or all dark.
[58:16] Speaker 9: But I could see the whites of his eyes. They
[58:18] Speaker 9: were just they were big eyes, and they're further apart
[58:22] Speaker 9: than ours. Its nose was pretty wide. It was flattened,
[58:27] Speaker 9: but not like it wasn't smushed. It was just like
[58:34] Speaker 9: a wide nose with big I could stick my thumb
[58:38] Speaker 9: up that thing's nostrils easily. But when it looked back
[58:43] Speaker 9: like it almost seemed like it was gonna say something.
[58:47] Speaker 9: Its fangs were like an inch and a half freaking long.
[58:51] Speaker 9: But on that big face. I mean, if you put
[58:54] Speaker 9: that on a human that's really big, those are big teeth.
[58:57] Speaker 9: But when you put it on something whose face is
[59:00] Speaker 9: bigger than a basketball, you know, more like a beach
[59:03] Speaker 9: ball size. That's a normal size for them and I.
[59:08] Speaker 9: But I could clearly see the two top k nines.
[59:11] Speaker 9: I couldn't see bottom ones. It just didn't move in
[59:15] Speaker 9: the right way. But like I could see that it
[59:19] Speaker 9: had hands. Its fingernails were really gross. The hair hung
[59:23] Speaker 9: down like through its fingers, but they weren't. It wasn't
[59:27] Speaker 9: really hairy fingers. It was just they got shaggy, stinky hair.
[59:32] Speaker 9: And I mean to me, it was absolutely I've never
[59:37] Speaker 9: seen one that close. The closest I had been previously
[59:40] Speaker 9: was about twenty five feet away, and it was an
[59:43] Speaker 9: adolescent and it was watching us. It was laying on
[59:45] Speaker 9: the ground looking over a bank, watching us. But this
[59:50] Speaker 9: one was just like, you know, you're walking out your
[59:54] Speaker 9: porch and somebody's standing. I just saw the one person
[59:57] Speaker 9: said once again, why didn't she put cams? Actually I
[1:00:02] Speaker 9: did after that, and I put them where Bobo told
[1:00:05] Speaker 9: me to put them. And hundreds of elk pits pictures,
[1:00:10] Speaker 9: deer pictures, a couple bunny rabbits, my dog's being bone
[1:00:14] Speaker 9: heads out in the field, and lo and behold, not
[1:00:18] Speaker 9: one freaking shot of bigfoot. I did have two nights
[1:00:22] Speaker 9: where I know that they were right outside my window.
[1:00:26] Speaker 9: And I jumped up, ran outside in the morning, pulled
[1:00:29] Speaker 9: that SD card, you know, and we had that camera
[1:00:33] Speaker 9: like twelve thirteen feet in the air, pointed down and
[1:00:40] Speaker 9: like we even covered it like around it with some
[1:00:43] Speaker 9: pine needles and I hung two pine cones off the bottom.
[1:00:49] Speaker 3: And I got.
[1:00:50] Speaker 9: Really blurry, grainy pictures and I had called I called
[1:00:57] Speaker 9: Bobo and I said, man, I thought I was gonna
[1:00:59] Speaker 9: have today, And he goes, grainy were they And I
[1:01:03] Speaker 9: was like yeah, and he goes, like I told you.
[1:01:05] Speaker 9: He said, they emit an electrical.
[1:01:10] Speaker 3: Pulse.
[1:01:10] Speaker 9: He said that's why people never get good pictures. And
[1:01:15] Speaker 9: I was like, well, I really I don't want to
[1:01:18] Speaker 9: be the first person to have one, but at least
[1:01:20] Speaker 9: a good picture would be okay.
[1:01:22] Speaker 3: And I mean I stayed in.
[1:01:24] Speaker 9: I still had.
[1:01:25] Speaker 3: Bobo's number, you know. He was he was.
[1:01:28] Speaker 9: Literally like you get a hold of me if you
[1:01:30] Speaker 9: ever need me, and really wonderful guy, wonderful, wonderful man.
[1:01:37] Speaker 9: And this was after he lost all his weight and
[1:01:40] Speaker 9: cut his hair. So when I walked up to him,
[1:01:43] Speaker 9: I was like, wow, you look a lot different, you know,
[1:01:46] Speaker 9: and he was he was really awesome. He taught me
[1:01:49] Speaker 9: a lot and he has some great adventures that he's
[1:01:53] Speaker 9: been on.
[1:01:56] Speaker 1: That's incredible. Wow, it just blows me away. This is
[1:02:03] Speaker 1: an area I've never heard of. And I've been talking
[1:02:06] Speaker 1: to people about bigfoot for like five six years, and
[1:02:10] Speaker 1: no one's ever talked about Eureka, Montana. And it just
[1:02:14] Speaker 1: sounds like it is a crazy, crazy era. Thank you
[1:02:17] Speaker 1: so much for coming up and for sure welcome.
[1:02:20] Speaker 9: You should also look up Bull Lake, Montana. There's a
[1:02:24] Speaker 9: lot of activity.
[1:02:26] Speaker 3: Yup Bull Lake.
[1:02:27] Speaker 9: It's in between Troy and Libby, Montana. And like you
[1:02:32] Speaker 9: can be out there fishing and you will hear them howl, growl,
[1:02:39] Speaker 9: whatever you want to call it. That call that they
[1:02:41] Speaker 9: make will echo across the lake and like it's incredible.
[1:02:48] Speaker 9: I've been up there a few times and I'm like,
[1:02:51] Speaker 9: that's a bigfoot. You know when when you have I've hunted.
[1:02:56] Speaker 9: I'm sixty years old now and I have hunted my
[1:02:59] Speaker 9: whole life, and I know the sounds that the animals
[1:03:04] Speaker 9: make in the woods and what I heard outside my
[1:03:07] Speaker 9: window is absolutely indescribable, like indescribable, and the like the
[1:03:17] Speaker 9: very first time that I ever saw one was in
[1:03:20] Speaker 9: the moonlight. I saw two of them at the lake
[1:03:23] Speaker 9: right by my house, but I walk This was in
[1:03:26] Speaker 9: Many Lakes, Montana, which is outside of Callous Bell, and
[1:03:31] Speaker 9: I walked out at three point thirty in the morning
[1:03:34] Speaker 9: to start my car to go to work, and I
[1:03:37] Speaker 9: got about three quarters of the twenty foot walk to
[1:03:40] Speaker 9: my car and I realized that it was just absolutely
[1:03:44] Speaker 9: too freaking quiet outside. There was, you know, no bird sounds,
[1:03:49] Speaker 9: no squirrels, no nothing, and I like, I remember feeling
[1:03:55] Speaker 9: this is eerie, and I click my the the fob
[1:04:00] Speaker 9: on my car exactly the second that I hear something
[1:04:05] Speaker 9: running down my driveway which was straight and I look
[1:04:09] Speaker 9: and I can't see anything. It's too dark. But then
[1:04:11] Speaker 9: I heard it jump to the game trail, which was
[1:04:14] Speaker 9: like another twenty five feet down the hill, and I'm like,
[1:04:18] Speaker 9: what is that that is that's on two legs, And
[1:04:21] Speaker 9: I hear a howl in the water, and I hear
[1:04:24] Speaker 9: an answer forty feet from me, and it's still running,
[1:04:28] Speaker 9: and then I hear a howl in the water, and
[1:04:31] Speaker 9: so I just I froze, and I walked around the
[1:04:34] Speaker 9: back of my car and I was trying to look
[1:04:36] Speaker 9: down on the game trail and it was just too dark.
[1:04:39] Speaker 9: I couldn't see anything, and I hear splash, splash, and
[1:04:44] Speaker 9: then a bigger splash, and then I look and I
[1:04:47] Speaker 9: see two and I knew like it definitely was far
[1:04:51] Speaker 9: far away. And I was like, oh, those those are bigfoots. Cool,
[1:04:54] Speaker 9: great single mom out in the woods, you know. And
[1:04:58] Speaker 9: I go back in the house. My car started. I
[1:05:00] Speaker 9: come out twenty minutes later to leave, and I got
[1:05:05] Speaker 9: that eurie feeling again. And as my car broke the
[1:05:09] Speaker 9: edge of my house to back down the driveway, I
[1:05:12] Speaker 9: got pelted with like freaking sixty pine cones in like
[1:05:17] Speaker 9: maybe eight seconds.
[1:05:19] Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
[1:05:20] Speaker 9: And I was like what and so like, I just
[1:05:23] Speaker 9: kept backing out. I didn't stop or anything. And I
[1:05:27] Speaker 9: went to work. And then when I picked my son
[1:05:30] Speaker 9: up from school, I was telling him about it, and
[1:05:33] Speaker 9: he just turned He was a kid then, you know,
[1:05:35] Speaker 9: he's like fourteen. He just turned white, and he says, Mom,
[1:05:38] Speaker 9: I told you I've heard something in the lake. You
[1:05:40] Speaker 9: didn't believe me.
[1:05:42] Speaker 3: We get to the house.
[1:05:43] Speaker 9: And we found two footprints by the mailbox, and we
[1:05:47] Speaker 9: took pictures and at that point his foot was only
[1:05:50] Speaker 9: a ten and a half and we measured it, but
[1:05:54] Speaker 9: it was only like fourteen inches and maybe six inches across.
[1:06:01] Speaker 9: But we took pictures, and we took pictures down the
[1:06:03] Speaker 9: game trail and into the water where you could see
[1:06:06] Speaker 9: that there were two sets and I called the Montana
[1:06:10] Speaker 9: Bigfoot Society and Pulse in Montana, but they never came out.
[1:06:14] Speaker 9: They just like recorded the sighting. And at that point,
[1:06:19] Speaker 9: the next two nights, I had friends that were photographers
[1:06:23] Speaker 9: in Glacier Park and they would go late at night,
[1:06:26] Speaker 9: you know, to take pictures of the Milky.
[1:06:28] Speaker 3: Way or the Aurora borealis.
[1:06:31] Speaker 9: And one of them had a sighting the one night
[1:06:35] Speaker 9: and it like walked right across the water and up
[1:06:37] Speaker 9: onto the little island where they were, and they just
[1:06:41] Speaker 9: grabbed all their shit and got out, like they just
[1:06:45] Speaker 9: literally packed up as quick as they could and just
[1:06:48] Speaker 9: left and their subaru. And then the very next night,
[1:06:53] Speaker 9: the other photographers she's seen it, and she was like
[1:06:57] Speaker 9: telling me the story, and I was like, you gotta
[1:06:59] Speaker 9: be kidding. I'm like, I said, that's a twenty minute
[1:07:02] Speaker 9: drive from my house. And I said, in these things
[1:07:06] Speaker 9: move forty to fifty miles a night is their radius.
[1:07:11] Speaker 9: And I said, so that was well within the radius,
[1:07:15] Speaker 9: but like they're there, they're there a lot. It's just that,
[1:07:18] Speaker 9: you know, the locals are used to it and the
[1:07:21] Speaker 9: outsiders don't really record it.
[1:07:26] Speaker 1: My goodness. Well, thank you so much for coming up
[1:07:31] Speaker 1: and for sharing your experiences. Absolutely really, really special. Thank you.
[1:07:37] Speaker 3: You're welcome.
