[0:41] Speaker 1: We've been getting so lucky with guests that have incredible
[0:44] Speaker 1: stories and we're gonna talk to Finn Argus and Chris
[0:48] Speaker 1: Renfro they have got store raise. Before we get to that,
[0:55] Speaker 1: let me read you a story from a listener. I'm
[1:00] Speaker 1: obsessed with this. This came to my email Ghosted by
[1:03] Speaker 1: razat gmail dot com. This came from Melanie. Melanie writes, Hey, Raz,
[1:09] Speaker 1: loved thepod. I have some ghost tea to spill. Long
[1:14] Speaker 1: story short, my husband and I are Polly. This is
[1:19] Speaker 1: exciting for me. And just so you know, I love
[1:23] Speaker 1: the polycommunity. I want as many poly people to listen
[1:28] Speaker 1: to this show. Get all you get the whole polycule listening,
[1:33] Speaker 1: and you know what, bring bring the whole polycule to
[1:37] Speaker 1: my live shows. That's That's why I'll be honest with you.
[1:41] Speaker 1: I want Polly people to be my fan so I
[1:46] Speaker 1: can sell more tickets. I'm just gonna be just gonna
[1:49] Speaker 1: be honest with you. I'm kidding. I do love it though. Anyway,
[1:53] Speaker 1: back to the story, we had this girlfriend last Halloween
[1:58] Speaker 1: that had two ghosts of her past lovers in her
[2:03] Speaker 1: house where they died. Ooh. So, being a paranormal researcher,
[2:09] Speaker 1: I sage her house. The sage stick ignited on fire,
[2:15] Speaker 1: which was the first bad vibe. So for the first
[2:18] Speaker 1: three months that we dated this scale, I felt like
[2:22] Speaker 1: she wasn't into me, like at all, so I questioned
[2:26] Speaker 1: everything she told me. The week before we broke this
[2:30] Speaker 1: thruple off, it's three am. I'm trying to get it
[2:34] Speaker 1: on with my husband and let me say, I live
[2:37] Speaker 1: with my phone on silent. Okay. So it's three am,
[2:42] Speaker 1: February twenty twenty four, getting frisky and this phone rings
[2:47] Speaker 1: and the ringer sounds like it's from nineteen ninety nine.
[2:51] Speaker 1: We stopped to check our phones. There were no missed calls. Okay,
[2:56] Speaker 1: back to what we were trying to do. Right Immediately
[3:00] Speaker 1: we hear nineteen forty's trumpet music, but it's faint and
[3:04] Speaker 1: static sounding. So I say to the spirit, let me
[3:08] Speaker 1: get it on. I'll meet you in the cemetery in
[3:11] Speaker 1: the afternoon. So I go to the cemetery. I set
[3:15] Speaker 1: up a SB seven spirit box session and this female
[3:21] Speaker 1: ghost is loud and clear. She says, mel I need help.
[3:27] Speaker 1: I ask what do you need help with? She responds,
[3:30] Speaker 1: I'm so angry. I ask what are you angry at?
[3:34] Speaker 1: She responds the living. I ask if it's about our girlfriend,
[3:39] Speaker 1: and I swear she drained my fresh batteries. So I
[3:43] Speaker 1: stop talking to the ex girlfriend and as soon as
[3:47] Speaker 1: I do, guess what, she was never gay? All right,
[3:55] Speaker 1: thank you, Melanie. I want as many thriple involved stories.
[4:01] Speaker 1: This kind of thing is my favorite, sou anythre up.
[4:06] Speaker 1: That's the other thing with these polyamorous polycules, more opportunities
[4:10] Speaker 1: for ghost stories. Well, I know one of you gotta story,
[4:13] Speaker 1: so send them on in. I love reading them. Bring
[4:16] Speaker 1: your polycule to see me live. This is an exciting
[4:20] Speaker 1: time right now here in December, because I am about
[4:24] Speaker 1: to go to Brooklyn, New York. The tickets for that show,
[4:27] Speaker 1: I believe, are twelve dollars real inexpensive. I'm going to
[4:32] Speaker 1: be at Little Field and that is going to be
[4:35] Speaker 1: on the eighth of December, and that's a bigger place
[4:40] Speaker 1: than I'm used to. So work on, work on, you know,
[4:44] Speaker 1: maybe bring up, bring a couple of dates with you.
[4:46] Speaker 1: Why not a lot of tickets to sell their twelve
[4:50] Speaker 1: dollars come seeb I don't do shows in New York enough.
[4:55] Speaker 1: Also that same week, uh, the eleventh, coming up real soon,
[4:59] Speaker 1: I'm going to be in Portland doing Ghosted Live. And
[5:02] Speaker 1: that's the other thing. Uh, my show in New York
[5:05] Speaker 1: is also Ghosted Live. I'm doing Ghosted Live in Portland,

[5:21] Speaker 1: find all of those tickets at linktree dot com slash
[5:25] Speaker 1: raz Hernanzas. Okay, let's hear some stories from Finn Argus
[5:31] Speaker 1: and Chris renfro on with the show. Chris and Finn, Hi, Hi,
[5:42] Speaker 1: I'm so happy you guys are here. You know, I
[5:45] Speaker 1: was so obsessed with cheers Folk, the one the one
[5:49] Speaker 1: that you guys, the two of you around.
[5:51] Speaker 4: Yeah, I loved it.
[5:52] Speaker 2: That makes sense because I was a ghost, you were
[5:55] Speaker 2: a ghost.
[5:56] Speaker 1: I love New Orleans. I love that there was as
[6:00] Speaker 1: a trans character, such a diverse cat. I loved it,
[6:04] Speaker 1: I really did. You were both wonderful.
[6:06] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[6:08] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was such a fun experience. That's how we met. Ah, Yeah,
[6:11] Speaker 4: New Orleans.
[6:12] Speaker 2: We met on the Halloween, two weeks before filming. Yeah.
[6:15] Speaker 1: It was truly just elevant, like the.
[6:18] Speaker 2: Best time of my life, regardless of like the like
[6:23] Speaker 2: the production outcome or whatever, just like the experience of
[6:25] Speaker 2: being there with everyone at gay Summer Camp and then
[6:27] Speaker 2: meeting kind or whatever we wanted. It was beautiful. It
[6:31] Speaker 2: was perfect.
[6:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, we had a lot of downtime and we spent
[6:34] Speaker 4: it in my apartment watching the Great British Baking Show Cute,
[6:38] Speaker 4: which was haunted. By the way, my apartment was fully haunted.
[6:41] Speaker 1: Tell us, because I mean New Orleans, the ghosts love it.
[6:45] Speaker 1: That's like super welcomed ghost That's like it's like pe
[6:50] Speaker 1: Town for ghosts, Like they all just go there and
[6:54] Speaker 1: let their hair down.
[6:56] Speaker 4: The rumors are true. It's incredibly haunted, and my apartment specifically,
[7:01] Speaker 4: it kind of felt like a dark energy. I'll be honest,
[7:04] Speaker 4: I haven't encountered a lot of like dark spirits in
[7:09] Speaker 4: my time but that apartment felt like there was someone
[7:13] Speaker 4: there who wasn't happy about being there, and there were
[7:16] Speaker 4: a lot of creeks and groans. And I don't know,
[7:19] Speaker 4: but you slept in the haunted room more often than
[7:21] Speaker 4: I did. Yeah, and that's why I'm like this, Yeah,
[7:25] Speaker 4: it really shaped your personality.
[7:27] Speaker 1: Were you in like the same building.
[7:29] Speaker 2: No, we lived like what like four blocks away from
[7:32] Speaker 2: each other, but we basically lived with each other. We
[7:35] Speaker 2: were doing slumber parties and whatever else, and if we
[7:39] Speaker 2: didn't want to spend the night at the other person's house,
[7:41] Speaker 2: we would walk four minutes home.
[7:43] Speaker 1: It was like really nice, but both were haunted.
[7:48] Speaker 2: Mine was haunted in that the landlord was weird. Okay,
[7:53] Speaker 2: he kind of just would like show up and like
[7:56] Speaker 2: talk to me when I was hungover, and I thought
[7:58] Speaker 2: that that was like pretty.
[7:59] Speaker 1: To a Yeah that's I don't like that. Yeah, hey,
[8:03] Speaker 1: what's going on? Like, Oh I had a landlord that
[8:07] Speaker 1: was like that one time when I had a dog
[8:09] Speaker 1: that I wasn't allowed to have and I was trying
[8:12] Speaker 1: to hide the dog and then the landlord would like
[8:14] Speaker 1: show up all the time and be like I heard
[8:16] Speaker 1: you have a dog, and I'm like no, that's a lie.
[8:20] Speaker 1: And then you can like hear the dog.
[8:22] Speaker 4: Like, yeah, I was not just my boyfriend on a leash.
[8:26] Speaker 1: That's my boyfriend. We do puppy play and he's crazy.
[8:30] Speaker 4: So your landlord was a kink shamer.
[8:32] Speaker 1: He was a kink shamer.
[8:34] Speaker 4: You could take him to court for that, and I will.
[8:41] Speaker 1: Do you both believe in ghosts? First off?
[8:44] Speaker 2: I do to a degree. I like go back and
[8:46] Speaker 2: forth about it. Me too, I don't know if I
[8:49] Speaker 2: believe in I don't believe in ghosts in like the
[8:53] Speaker 2: Hollywood sense of like a bodily spirit, but I do
[8:58] Speaker 2: believe in sort of like wayward energies.
[9:01] Speaker 4: The imprint of energy. Yeah, yeah, as opposed to like
[9:04] Speaker 4: a floating sheet. Yeah.
[9:05] Speaker 2: And it's like why do you have Calvin Klein's on,
[9:08] Speaker 2: you know, It's like I don't believe in that. Yeah.
[9:10] Speaker 4: I feel similarly, I'm kind of agnostic when it comes
[9:13] Speaker 4: to ghosts, like I don't I just don't know, and
[9:15] Speaker 4: I have stories, but you know, I do so much,
[9:19] Speaker 4: uh like justifying in my head, like I use logic
[9:23] Speaker 4: to make it all make sense in my head. But
[9:24] Speaker 4: then there are some things that I look back on,
[9:26] Speaker 4: like the Big Ghost story that I have that I
[9:28] Speaker 4: just can't really explain.
[9:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's how it should be. It's like,
[9:34] Speaker 1: I don't know. I think if you're too gullible or
[9:38] Speaker 1: you just choose to believe everything, that's like how conspiracy
[9:42] Speaker 1: theory Like, It's like there's so many things, so many
[9:45] Speaker 1: tricky places that can take you if you're just like, yeah,
[9:48] Speaker 1: this is real. This is like I don't know. I
[9:50] Speaker 1: think it's good to have the logical brain, and if
[9:54] Speaker 1: you can't come up with an answer, then it's like,
[9:56] Speaker 1: well I tried. Yeah, I guess it's a ghost.
[9:59] Speaker 2: Okay, you obviously believe in ghosts, Like what is your like,
[10:03] Speaker 2: what is your overarching hmm thought on it all.
[10:06] Speaker 1: My take on ghosts is I find it really fascinating
[10:10] Speaker 1: and I want to see it for myself, and I
[10:13] Speaker 1: believe other people way more than I believe myself. If
[10:16] Speaker 1: I'm like in these situations, I'm like that I don't
[10:18] Speaker 1: think that was a ghost. I don't know what it was.
[10:21] Speaker 1: But the other thing is I'm real dumb and I
[10:23] Speaker 1: don't know what most things are, so I can't like explain,
[10:28] Speaker 1: like I don't know how plumbing works. If I hear
[10:31] Speaker 1: a bang in the walls or whatever. So I'm like,
[10:33] Speaker 1: that was a ghost? I guess I don't know, but
[10:36] Speaker 1: I'm sure there's an answer.
[10:37] Speaker 2: Did the ghost call you a faggot once?
[10:40] Speaker 1: Once? It's actually happened a few times. A few times.
[10:45] Speaker 1: It's happened a few times, but only one time has
[10:47] Speaker 1: been publicly shared. I have one that's been documented that
[10:52] Speaker 1: I have not shared with the world. Uh, and now
[10:55] Speaker 1: I fear that it's on the hard drive that I
[10:57] Speaker 1: just uh destroyed accident. But yes, I did recently have
[11:03] Speaker 1: it happened again recently, Yes, same one, different ghosts.
[11:09] Speaker 4: WHA. Yeah, so you don't believe in ghosts, but you've
[11:12] Speaker 4: been called a faggot by multiple ghosts.
[11:15] Speaker 1: Well, I don't know who who called me. I don't
[11:19] Speaker 1: know who it was.
[11:20] Speaker 2: Could have been Neil Patrick Harris for all I know.
[11:23] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[11:24] Speaker 4: You were tuned into some frequency in someone hate grimed you.
[11:27] Speaker 1: Here's the thing. It's a machine that I barely know
[11:29] Speaker 1: how it works. All I know is that it basically
[11:32] Speaker 1: quickly goes through radio channels and you know who knows,
[11:37] Speaker 1: possibly people like a trucker on a CBE radio or something,
[11:41] Speaker 1: and they hear me being like, is there a ghost here?
[11:44] Speaker 1: And then the trucker's like fuck, Like, I don't know.
[11:48] Speaker 1: I don't know, but I know that somebody said it,
[11:52] Speaker 1: or it sounded like that's what they said. Maybe they
[11:54] Speaker 1: said Bob Saget. I don't know what they said, grab
[11:58] Speaker 1: it because it but rabbit maggot. I don't know. They
[12:03] Speaker 1: could have said a lot of things, but I choose
[12:06] Speaker 1: to believe. You know, actually, I don't even I let
[12:09] Speaker 1: everyone else decide. I don't ever like to say I
[12:12] Speaker 1: believe this is what this is. I'm not a fan
[12:15] Speaker 1: at all of people that are like, that's a demon,
[12:19] Speaker 1: that's a ghost. Here's how you get rid of it.
[12:21] Speaker 1: Here's what you do. Like, I don't know, it's about
[12:25] Speaker 1: invisible people we've never met. I'm a comedian and I
[12:28] Speaker 1: just think it's interesting.
[12:29] Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like you're like an active observer, but
[12:32] Speaker 2: a passive participant in the whole process.
[12:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not. I'm not an authority. I'm a silly
[12:37] Speaker 1: person that likes to talk about it and learn about it.
[12:41] Speaker 4: Right, here's what I heard. What do you think? Yeah,
[12:44] Speaker 4: that's how I feel about my ghost stories. Like I
[12:47] Speaker 4: remember this information and I can say it out loud,
[12:49] Speaker 4: but I don't have any like, I haven't labeled it
[12:53] Speaker 4: as a ghost story necessarily, but yeah I have because
[12:56] Speaker 4: I'm here, I give it.
[12:58] Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, Okay, we'll decide. Okay, damn it. That reminds me, jeha,
[13:04] Speaker 1: somebody sent me a a gavel. Oh shit, really, yes,
[13:11] Speaker 1: it came to my peel box the other day, and
[13:13] Speaker 1: I'm sorry I didn't bring it because I do like
[13:17] Speaker 1: to sort of go, that's a ghost m You know
[13:22] Speaker 1: a lot of my guests come here with the same situation.
[13:25] Speaker 1: I don't know if it was. I've decided I'm because
[13:28] Speaker 1: I'm like, who decides any of this shit? You always
[13:30] Speaker 1: see these articles the most haunted places in Los Angeles?
[13:35] Speaker 1: What do you mean the most hot? Like? What number? Two?
[13:39] Speaker 1: Number three? Who's raking that?
[13:41] Speaker 4: Me?
[13:42] Speaker 1: I'm deciding. I'm the one that's deciding.
[13:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, And it's a tight race at the top, like one, two, three,
[13:47] Speaker 4: they're just separated by like a ghoster two or three.
[13:51] Speaker 1: Well, and there's also tampering with the votes. I've heard
[13:55] Speaker 1: you can't trust this stuff.
[13:56] Speaker 4: Yeah, because what if the ghosts are voting too? We
[13:59] Speaker 4: don't exactly clay, Okay, so I have a ghost story, Okay, go,
[14:07] Speaker 4: I'll try to give the sort of a bridged version
[14:10] Speaker 4: because it spans over a long time. I dated someone
[14:15] Speaker 4: named Lucy when I was in middle school in high school.
[14:18] Speaker 4: We dated for three years and she was very sensitive
[14:24] Speaker 4: to spiritual activity, and she said that her house was haunted.
[14:28] Speaker 4: She spoke to the ghosts. She was like, yeah, my
[14:30] Speaker 4: house is haunted. The ghosts are around, but we're tight.
[14:33] Speaker 4: It's like it's chill. I didn't really believe in ghosts,
[14:37] Speaker 4: and when she told me this stuff, I'm like, that's
[14:39] Speaker 4: so interesting and so cool, and I can't wrap my
[14:41] Speaker 4: head around it. So I just kind of wrote it
[14:45] Speaker 4: off in my head. But I would hang out at
[14:47] Speaker 4: her house all the time where I grew up in
[14:50] Speaker 4: the suburbs of Chicago, in the Northwest suburbs, and we
[14:55] Speaker 4: were in her house in the basement, which was so creepy.
[14:58] Speaker 4: It was decorated like a haunted house. There was a
[15:00] Speaker 4: twin bed with all these old stuffed animals and dolls
[15:05] Speaker 4: and like ornate type furniture.
[15:08] Speaker 2: It was something so sinister about a twin bed in general.
[15:11] Speaker 4: Yeah, and it was so weird. It was like no
[15:13] Speaker 4: one was sleeping in that bed. It felt purely decorative,
[15:16] Speaker 4: and I was confused why it was there. It had
[15:18] Speaker 4: a sinister energy, and it was in contrast to the
[15:20] Speaker 4: rest of the house, which was modern. And I have
[15:23] Speaker 4: no idea why that was down there. But we were
[15:26] Speaker 4: watching Mister Nobody in the basement of her house.
[15:29] Speaker 1: I don't know what that is.
[15:31] Speaker 4: It's a movie starring Jared Leto. Yeah, So we were
[15:36] Speaker 4: watching Mister Nobody and I fell asleep probably halfway through,
[15:40] Speaker 4: and I woke up in the basement on the couch
[15:46] Speaker 4: and I couldn't move. I was just in darkness on
[15:50] Speaker 4: this couch, and I saw a woman who I thought
[15:53] Speaker 4: was Lucy, standing at the other side of the room,
[15:57] Speaker 4: and I tried to speak, couldn't and this woman, this figure,
[16:05] Speaker 4: in what felt like a blink, appeared in front of
[16:08] Speaker 4: me with her face contorted into a scream like pain,
[16:15] Speaker 4: screaming at the top of her lungs. But there was
[16:17] Speaker 4: no sound right in my face, and I was crawling
[16:22] Speaker 4: out of my skin, trying to move my body and
[16:25] Speaker 4: I couldn't, and I was trying to scream too. I
[16:27] Speaker 4: was so terrified. And then eventually I like brought myself
[16:31] Speaker 4: out of this moment and screamed at the top of
[16:33] Speaker 4: my lungs and woke up. I say with quotation marks,
[16:36] Speaker 4: because I woke up in that exact same position in
[16:40] Speaker 4: the basement and the woman was gone, and I was
[16:44] Speaker 4: so confused. It felt like a dream. It felt like
[16:46] Speaker 4: a nightmare. And I relate this experience to sleep paralysis.
[16:51] Speaker 4: You know, I've heard a lot of people talk about
[16:53] Speaker 4: sleep paralysis. And I don't know what to make of that,
[16:55] Speaker 4: Like was that a ghost or was I imagining it?
[16:59] Speaker 4: Or was it a dream? I'm not really sure, but
[17:01] Speaker 4: it felt so so real, and I was dreaming in
[17:05] Speaker 4: the exact position that I woke up in, like lying
[17:08] Speaker 4: on my side on the couch in Lucy's basement. So
[17:13] Speaker 4: this happened, and again I wrote it off and like
[17:16] Speaker 4: that was a bad dream. I still didn't really believe
[17:18] Speaker 4: in ghosts, and I didn't talk to Lucy about it
[17:22] Speaker 4: because I was like whatever she oh. Also, it details
[17:25] Speaker 4: that she went up to sleep in her room, like
[17:28] Speaker 4: she left me in the basement, So I woke up
[17:30] Speaker 4: in that room alone and all the lights were off,
[17:32] Speaker 4: the TV was off. So then some time passes, I
[17:36] Speaker 4: don't tell her about this because well, it was just
[17:38] Speaker 4: a dream.
[17:39] Speaker 2: It's no big deal.
[17:40] Speaker 4: A few months later or something. I don't know how
[17:43] Speaker 4: long it was. This is so long ago. But I
[17:46] Speaker 4: was coming upstairs from her basement, the same basement, and
[17:50] Speaker 4: I got to the top of the stairs, and as
[17:52] Speaker 4: I rounded it, I saw Lucy at the bottom of
[17:55] Speaker 4: the stairs, like rounding the bottom of the staircase, and
[17:59] Speaker 4: she had her fridge in the basement. I thought she
[18:01] Speaker 4: was going to get a soda or something. But I
[18:04] Speaker 4: was confused because I had just come from down there
[18:06] Speaker 4: from grabbing a soda. And I called to her. I'm like, Lucy,
[18:10] Speaker 4: are you down there? She didn't say anything. I'm like,
[18:14] Speaker 4: I grabbed you a soda, I have your soda, and
[18:17] Speaker 4: there's nothing. And so then I raised my voice, say Lucy,
[18:22] Speaker 4: and then she calls back to me from upstairs. I
[18:28] Speaker 4: could have absolutely sworn. I saw a woman with long
[18:33] Speaker 4: brown hair rounding the bottom of the steps like I wasn't.
[18:36] Speaker 4: I didn't even question it. So I was like, oh,
[18:38] Speaker 4: that's Lucy, Like it's so weird that you're down there.
[18:41] Speaker 4: I just got us our SODA's and I could have
[18:45] Speaker 4: oh my god, I could have sworn. And so then
[18:47] Speaker 4: after that I freaked out, and I ran up to
[18:49] Speaker 4: her and I was like, Okay, is there somebody else here?
[18:52] Speaker 4: I'm really confused and freaked out right now. And I
[18:55] Speaker 4: told her about my dream and then also this experience,
[18:59] Speaker 4: and then she was like, Okay, I'm gonna hold your
[19:01] Speaker 4: hand when I say this. That is a ghost that
[19:04] Speaker 4: haunts my house and I see her and I have
[19:07] Speaker 4: spoken to her, and she is in immense pain. And
[19:12] Speaker 4: for whatever reason, I think she's latched onto you latched
[19:16] Speaker 4: onto me? Did she for what is this punishment for
[19:20] Speaker 4: watching a Jared Leto movie?
[19:22] Speaker 1: Did she get her want that? The ghost?
[19:26] Speaker 4: The ghost got her soda?
[19:28] Speaker 1: That's good?
[19:28] Speaker 4: And Lucy broke it down for me. She was talking
[19:31] Speaker 4: about all the spirits in her house and how this
[19:33] Speaker 4: one specifically was in an immense amount of pain, and
[19:37] Speaker 4: I don't remember exactly how she described it, but told
[19:41] Speaker 4: me that this ghost had kind of attached itself to me,
[19:44] Speaker 4: which was the worst news possible because I didn't believe
[19:47] Speaker 4: in ghosts. But that was almost a defense mechanism because
[19:49] Speaker 4: I was so scared of ghosts and demons totally. I
[19:52] Speaker 4: was raised so religious, so I believed in in like spirits. Hardcore?
[19:57] Speaker 4: What kind of religion Evangelical Christian.
[20:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
[20:03] Speaker 4: I was always hearing tell of like demons in my floorboards.
[20:06] Speaker 4: And I at this point had kind of separated myself
[20:11] Speaker 4: from church and religion and I was on more of
[20:14] Speaker 4: like an atheist type beat. So I was like, no,
[20:18] Speaker 4: ghosts aren't real. I don't believe in any of that.
[20:21] Speaker 4: But then she told me this about this woman who
[20:24] Speaker 4: had attached herself to me, and it, oh my god,
[20:27] Speaker 4: it shook me to my core. And there's a couple
[20:30] Speaker 4: more instances where this woman came up in my life.
[20:33] Speaker 1: Stop outside of the house.
[20:34] Speaker 4: Outside of the house.
[20:36] Speaker 2: Now she's Sam Smith because maybe she's latched.
[20:41] Speaker 1: I is it a little flattering?
[20:43] Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like I'm blushing talking about it, Yeah,
[20:47] Speaker 4: because I'm like, why did she latch onto me? Like?
[20:49] Speaker 1: Was it the ladies love you?
[20:53] Speaker 4: Okay? So the only other times that I have encountered this,
[20:57] Speaker 4: this ghostly woman was after I had moved away. That
[21:03] Speaker 4: all happened around the time when I was about to
[21:05] Speaker 4: move away from Illinois to California, which is when I
[21:08] Speaker 4: was fifteen or sixteen, and Lucy and I remained friends,
[21:13] Speaker 4: but we weren't dating anymore, and I met someone in
[21:16] Speaker 4: La who also was a medium. Like that that was
[21:20] Speaker 4: their gig.
[21:21] Speaker 1: That's when you first moved to LA. You have to
[21:23] Speaker 1: meet a media. Yeah, that's how you know you're in LA.
[21:25] Speaker 4: I was doing a photo shoot with him. He was
[21:27] Speaker 4: a photographer perfect well, yeah, we were doing a Halloween
[21:30] Speaker 4: themed photo shoot where I was playing a ghost and
[21:34] Speaker 4: he told me that he was a medium, and he
[21:37] Speaker 4: asked if he could tell me something, What do you
[21:41] Speaker 4: mean would you have to tell me? It's like, don't
[21:44] Speaker 4: don't freak out, but there is a spirit that is
[21:47] Speaker 4: attached to you. And this person like, of course had
[21:51] Speaker 4: never met Lucy. I hadn't brought this up, but he
[21:54] Speaker 4: was like, there is this woman who is grieving, who
[21:59] Speaker 4: has attached herself to you because she senses your your
[22:03] Speaker 4: empathy or something and just wants to be close to
[22:09] Speaker 4: you and has like attached herself to your your spirit.
[22:14] Speaker 4: And then described you know, this same woman, which it's
[22:17] Speaker 4: like a generic description, but it was the same description
[22:21] Speaker 4: as a woman that I saw in my sleep, paralysis
[22:24] Speaker 4: and at the bottom of the stairs. The culmination of
[22:27] Speaker 4: this story is when I was younger, I did this
[22:32] Speaker 4: YouTuber tour where it was just a bunch of teen
[22:35] Speaker 4: boys doing meet and greets and it's like mag Con.
[22:41] Speaker 4: It was that type of thing.
[22:42] Speaker 1: Were you a YouTuber?
[22:43] Speaker 4: No, but I was invited to perform as the musical guest.
[22:47] Speaker 4: I played the ukulele and I was just there was
[22:50] Speaker 4: my like Hawaiian print t shirts like it was. It
[22:55] Speaker 4: was a time.
[22:55] Speaker 2: It was a time.
[22:56] Speaker 4: But I went to Pennsylvania. We were in and what
[23:00] Speaker 4: was it King of Prussia or something, and a few
[23:05] Speaker 4: of the other kids who were on the tour, they
[23:08] Speaker 4: would make videos where they would go to abandoned buildings
[23:11] Speaker 4: and like vlog the experience.
[23:13] Speaker 1: Classic YouTuber.
[23:14] Speaker 4: Yeah, so they wanted to go to the Penhurst Asylum
[23:19] Speaker 4: asylum have you been? Do you know of it?
[23:22] Speaker 1: I know of it. I've never been, So.
[23:24] Speaker 4: They wanted to go because it was an hour away
[23:27] Speaker 4: or something. So we piled into the car. In A
[23:29] Speaker 4: fun detail is that Lucy and our other friend Maggie
[23:32] Speaker 4: had taken the train into Pennsylvania for the show because
[23:37] Speaker 4: we were still like really good friends, and we all
[23:39] Speaker 4: went to this asylum together, I think five of us
[23:43] Speaker 4: in total, and it's locked, you know, it's not open
[23:45] Speaker 4: to the public, but we climbed in through a window
[23:49] Speaker 4: stop we broke into this place.
[23:52] Speaker 1: Ah, do you have limitations? Is it up?
[23:55] Speaker 4: I think we're good. And it was the darkest energy
[24:00] Speaker 4: I've ever felt in my entire life. This place got
[24:02] Speaker 4: shut down, maybe not in direct result, but there was malpractice.
[24:06] Speaker 4: I think that's why it got shut down, but I
[24:09] Speaker 4: might be misremembering that.
[24:10] Speaker 2: Imagine entering an abandoned the Sane asylum and then immediately
[24:14] Speaker 2: being like, Okay, the vibes are immacula.
[24:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, this place is great. I love it here.
[24:19] Speaker 2: Just a slay the house down boots even sac But
[24:23] Speaker 2: I think, you know what, I was expecting it to
[24:25] Speaker 2: be a dark energy, but it felt oppressive, Like I
[24:28] Speaker 2: entered that building and it felt.
[24:31] Speaker 4: Like there was a weight on me. Yeah, like a dark,
[24:34] Speaker 4: wet blanket. And I was just, oh, I hate it
[24:37] Speaker 4: in here. And it felt like a haunted house, you know.
[24:43] Speaker 4: We made our way to the basement, where there was
[24:45] Speaker 4: a school like what looked like a preschool. Yes, in
[24:50] Speaker 4: the basement of this asylum. The walls were painted with
[24:54] Speaker 4: like very childlike murals, and there were little desks.
[24:56] Speaker 2: It was so weird. Beds.
[25:00] Speaker 4: There's one twin bed in the corner in ornate furniture. Oh,
[25:04] Speaker 4: it was terrifying, and we found tunnel systems, tunnels, tunnel
[25:08] Speaker 4: sets to ums.
[25:10] Speaker 1: Nobody showed up. They don't have security, they don't, it's
[25:14] Speaker 1: just sitting there.
[25:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, So we went into these tunnel systems.
[25:19] Speaker 1: You deserve whatever happens.
[25:20] Speaker 4: Next, you know. I don't know why we did that,
[25:26] Speaker 4: I really don't, but we were headstrong. And there was
[25:29] Speaker 4: spray paint on the walls, so like people had been
[25:31] Speaker 4: there before. I think that cut a little bit of
[25:33] Speaker 4: the nervousness. So we go deeper into these tunnel systems
[25:37] Speaker 4: underground that connect the four separate buildings of the Penhurst
[25:41] Speaker 4: Asylum and the spray paint. It starts off like pretty,
[25:46] Speaker 4: like cute, fun whatever, just like people leaving their tags.
[25:49] Speaker 4: And then as we go deeper down, we all get
[25:52] Speaker 4: progressively more and more uncomfortable and scared, until we reach
[25:56] Speaker 4: the end of the hallway that enters into the next
[25:58] Speaker 4: building and there is a wheelchair sitting there, just facing
[26:02] Speaker 4: directly towards us, and none of us can bring ourselves
[26:05] Speaker 4: to pass it. Like this feels really really wrong. We
[26:09] Speaker 4: should probably leave, and we make the decision to go back,
[26:14] Speaker 4: go back the way we came, leave the place.
[26:17] Speaker 1: This is a real story. This is a real story.
[26:20] Speaker 1: Because this is good because I've heard a lot of
[26:23] Speaker 1: people tell me stories about like breaking in and go
[26:26] Speaker 1: and like for like a second and like whatever, this
[26:29] Speaker 1: is like good, this is for real. I'm not doubting you,
[26:33] Speaker 1: but I'm just saying that so good.
[26:35] Speaker 4: And it is ridiculous, Like I think this story is ridiculous,
[26:38] Speaker 4: but I have to tell it because.
[26:40] Speaker 1: Playing happens and this is the place to do with.
[26:42] Speaker 4: Yeah, so we decide, we're like, you know what, this
[26:45] Speaker 4: is too far. I feel like we've crossed the line.
[26:48] Speaker 4: This feels wrong and actually, you know, like bad stuff
[26:51] Speaker 4: happened in this place, like it wasn't It wasn't a
[26:53] Speaker 4: good idea to go in there.
[26:55] Speaker 1: Well and if you think of like all the just
[26:58] Speaker 1: like mental energy and you know, it's just that's heavy.
[27:04] Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't know all the details of the history
[27:07] Speaker 4: of this building, but even from what little I knew,
[27:10] Speaker 4: it just it it felt wrong to be there. So
[27:13] Speaker 4: we all decided to turn around. And like I said,
[27:16] Speaker 4: there were five people, so we were kind of there
[27:18] Speaker 4: are two pairs and then I was the one that
[27:20] Speaker 4: was sort of singled out. It's what I get for
[27:22] Speaker 4: breaking up with Lucy. She was with Maggie, and then
[27:27] Speaker 4: forget the other two.
[27:29] Speaker 1: Well, you weren't alone because you had Lucy's attachment.
[27:32] Speaker 4: I had miss miss Mama.
[27:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, Mama was with you.
[27:36] Speaker 4: Yeah, a woman behind you. So I turn around and
[27:40] Speaker 4: then we all at the same time realize that the
[27:44] Speaker 4: tunnel looked as if it had closed behind us, and
[27:48] Speaker 4: the only thing we could see at the end of
[27:49] Speaker 4: the hallway was a satanic goat spray painted on the
[27:52] Speaker 4: wall what perfectly from our vantage point, And so are you.
[27:56] Speaker 1: Trying to sell this to shutter or one of these houses,
[28:00] Speaker 1: because this is like, this is good.
[28:03] Speaker 4: I haven't thought about it, but maybe this will be
[28:05] Speaker 4: the proof of concept. So we turned around and we
[28:08] Speaker 4: see the Satanic goat on the wall, and we're like,
[28:09] Speaker 4: where what happened? Where's the tunnel? Like we just came
[28:12] Speaker 4: from here right and there were no offshoots, like there
[28:14] Speaker 4: were locked doors that we couldn't go through. It was
[28:18] Speaker 4: an illusion. The tunnel like slowly curved as we walked
[28:21] Speaker 4: through it and didn't realize. So when we turn around,
[28:24] Speaker 4: it looked as if the tunnel closed in on us.
[28:27] Speaker 1: We're gonna cut this part out. I liked I like
[28:30] Speaker 1: that it was closed.
[28:31] Speaker 2: Well okay, but I'm like Disney imagineering ass shit right
[28:35] Speaker 2: now where it's like force perspective.
[28:36] Speaker 4: It was so it was like comically scary, and someone
[28:42] Speaker 4: thought real hard about putting that satanic goat there. It
[28:46] Speaker 4: was terrifying, and we all for a solid I don't
[28:49] Speaker 4: know how long we're convinced that we are trapped in hell,
[28:53] Speaker 4: Like I actually believe this, and I would think that too.
[28:57] Speaker 4: I thought we just got swallowed up like this is
[28:59] Speaker 4: as above so below. We're not getting out of here ever,
[29:02] Speaker 4: Like we just entered into a different realm and we're like,
[29:05] Speaker 4: we need to find a way out of here. We
[29:06] Speaker 4: got to go past the wheelchair and make our way
[29:09] Speaker 4: out through this other building, but no one could bring
[29:12] Speaker 4: themselves to do it. We're all so terrified, Yeah that
[29:15] Speaker 4: no one could bring themselves to go past this wheelchair.
[29:17] Speaker 4: But you're all together, Yeah, but we were all no
[29:22] Speaker 4: one could bring up the courage to be the first
[29:23] Speaker 4: person to walk past it.
[29:25] Speaker 1: I would have grabbed every like we would all like
[29:27] Speaker 1: link arms and like a red rover. Yeah, we would
[29:31] Speaker 1: all go as one chunk like well, I would make
[29:34] Speaker 1: sure I was in the middle and have everyone around me.
[29:37] Speaker 4: Yeah, we would go.
[29:38] Speaker 1: That's what I would do.
[29:39] Speaker 4: You know, in retrospect, that is a great idea, But
[29:43] Speaker 4: I think I can't remember who it was. But someone
[29:45] Speaker 4: was like, I'm gonna go back the way we came,
[29:46] Speaker 4: like I know, there's like a way out. We just
[29:49] Speaker 4: came from there, and someone ran and realized that the
[29:51] Speaker 4: tunnel curved, and then we found our way out back
[29:54] Speaker 4: the way we came because no one could bring themselves
[29:56] Speaker 4: to go past this wheelchair and we didn't want to
[29:59] Speaker 4: go all way back from the window we came in
[30:02] Speaker 4: through because it was sort of far. And we're like,
[30:05] Speaker 4: certainly we can find another way out. So we find
[30:08] Speaker 4: another staircase, we see windows where like there's got to
[30:10] Speaker 4: be another window that we can climb through, or a
[30:14] Speaker 4: door that's unlocked or something. There's got to be a
[30:16] Speaker 4: way out of here. And we got we got trapped
[30:18] Speaker 4: in this building, like we couldn't find our way out,
[30:21] Speaker 4: and we're getting progressively more and more terrified, and the
[30:24] Speaker 4: energy is feeling like sinister.
[30:27] Speaker 1: And demons are loving this.
[30:29] Speaker 4: They were feeding on our fear. Yeah, one hundred percent.
[30:32] Speaker 4: So as we make our way out, we find like
[30:36] Speaker 4: the doors to the exit and they're they're locked. We
[30:39] Speaker 4: can't get out, we can't open it from the inside.
[30:42] Speaker 4: And Lucy kind of like trails away because she wants
[30:46] Speaker 4: to like find another way out, and she walks and.
[30:48] Speaker 1: She's so used to go.
[30:50] Speaker 4: Yeah, she was less scared than the rest of us.
[30:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, you know them as these slash those.
[30:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, those are like just like her roommates at home.
[31:00] Speaker 4: Yeah, so she was, you know, she was negotiating on
[31:02] Speaker 4: our behalf, I'm sure. But she goes into this room
[31:05] Speaker 4: by herself and then all of a sudden starts sobbing,
[31:09] Speaker 4: like crying, and our other friend goes into comfort her,
[31:12] Speaker 4: and it's like, what's wrong. She's like, something really really
[31:15] Speaker 4: bad happened in here, and she was upset. I don't
[31:19] Speaker 4: know what happened. She didn't talk about it ever, but
[31:22] Speaker 4: she got really upset by something that happened in that room.
[31:26] Speaker 4: And when she came back out, it was our friend
[31:27] Speaker 4: Maggie who went in to comfort her and talk to
[31:30] Speaker 4: her and try to get her to come out so
[31:32] Speaker 4: we could get out of this building. And as they
[31:35] Speaker 4: came out of the room, Maggie looked at me and
[31:39] Speaker 4: screamed at the top of her lungs, like blood curdling scream,
[31:43] Speaker 4: and then we all just run and we're like, what happened?
[31:46] Speaker 4: What's going on? Maggie said, there was a woman right
[31:51] Speaker 4: behind you, standing directly behind your head, wailing ah. And
[32:00] Speaker 4: Maggie also didn't believe in ghosts, like this was not
[32:03] Speaker 4: her bag.
[32:05] Speaker 2: Maggie's a Normanista.
[32:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's what she would say, is she's
[32:09] Speaker 4: a Normanista and she screams, scream, screamed, and I freaked out.
[32:13] Speaker 4: I was like, what happened? And then she described that
[32:15] Speaker 4: there was this woman who she saw standing right behind me,
[32:19] Speaker 4: same description.
[32:20] Speaker 1: Did Lucy see it?
[32:21] Speaker 4: No, Lucy didn't see it, or she didn't say that
[32:23] Speaker 4: she did at least, But I don't know what she was,
[32:27] Speaker 4: where she was looking at, or what was going on.
[32:29] Speaker 4: But Maggie described seeing this woman, and I do think Maggie,
[32:35] Speaker 4: I don't know if she knew the story, like I
[32:37] Speaker 4: hadn't really talked about it with too many people about
[32:39] Speaker 4: this woman in Lucy's basement. And we were like, you
[32:45] Speaker 4: know what, let's just go back exactly the way we came.
[32:47] Speaker 4: I don't care how far it is. We need to
[32:48] Speaker 4: get out of this building now, and so we all
[32:50] Speaker 4: sprint as some of us are crying. We're all terrified.
[32:55] Speaker 4: Were I just wanted to come, I'm yours, like, am
[33:01] Speaker 4: I here right now? And we found our way out
[33:04] Speaker 4: of the building, thankfully, and we were all okay through
[33:07] Speaker 4: the window that you came in through the window. Yeah,
[33:10] Speaker 4: we had to go the long way and we just
[33:12] Speaker 4: like booked it out of there. And I didn't see
[33:15] Speaker 4: the woman. I didn't think anyone saw her except for Maggie.
[33:19] Speaker 4: And my thought process was, oh, there's probably someone else here, Like,
[33:22] Speaker 4: there's probably a person in this building, Like it's a
[33:25] Speaker 4: massive abandoned building.
[33:26] Speaker 1: Right if you guys can get in, I'm sure anyone
[33:28] Speaker 1: could get in.
[33:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, But the the part that got me was this
[33:34] Speaker 4: woman like disappeared instantaneously, Like we turned around and there
[33:38] Speaker 4: was nobody there. But Maggie was like, I saw somebody
[33:41] Speaker 4: right behind you. I don't know what else to say,
[33:43] Speaker 4: Like I saw someone standing behind you, and no one
[33:47] Speaker 4: else really said anything. We're all just like let's get
[33:49] Speaker 4: out of here. And our friend Taylor, who drove us,
[33:53] Speaker 4: didn't believe in ghosts at all, super like, no, ghosts
[33:56] Speaker 4: aren't real. When we were in the car, and he's
[33:59] Speaker 4: like a macho He's like, is a dude. He was like, oh, ghost, whatever,
[34:03] Speaker 4: let's go to the asylum. It's gonna be awesome. Hey, YouTube,
[34:06] Speaker 4: you know, like that sort of vibe. Okay, And when
[34:09] Speaker 4: we were in the car, he was like, I didn't
[34:11] Speaker 4: want to say any like had an aside with me.
[34:13] Speaker 4: He's like, I didn't want to say anything while we
[34:15] Speaker 4: were in there. But I saw her too. I saw
[34:19] Speaker 4: this woman standing behind you. And I don't really like,
[34:22] Speaker 4: I don't believe in ghosts. I don't know what to
[34:24] Speaker 4: make of it, but she was there and we drove
[34:30] Speaker 4: away from the asylum, and I've never seen a woman
[34:34] Speaker 4: since you left her there. I have no idea. I mean,
[34:37] Speaker 4: I just I haven't experienced any No.
[34:41] Speaker 1: Wait a minute, that so you're publicist. That woman that
[34:45] Speaker 1: came in here with you? Guys? Where did she go?
[34:49] Speaker 2: What?
[34:50] Speaker 1: I thought that was your public What that lady? She
[34:56] Speaker 1: was just screaming at me, So I assume she was
[34:59] Speaker 1: a publicist.
[35:01] Speaker 4: Wow, that's the full story. And there are like little
[35:05] Speaker 4: things that I've experienced here and there, but those are
[35:07] Speaker 4: the only times that I've experienced. This woman, this ghost
[35:12] Speaker 4: who apparently had attached herself to me, But since then
[35:15] Speaker 4: I haven't had anyone bring her up or like talk
[35:18] Speaker 4: about a spirit attached to me or anything like that.
[35:21] Speaker 1: Finn Argus, this was an incredible story.
[35:26] Speaker 4: Thank you, Thank you for giving me a platform to
[35:29] Speaker 4: share my trauma.
[35:30] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[35:31] Speaker 4: Of course it was terrifying, And I don't know what
[35:34] Speaker 4: to make of it because the first two experiences I
[35:36] Speaker 4: can kind of write off as either sleep paralysis or
[35:39] Speaker 4: just like a trick.
[35:40] Speaker 2: Of the light.
[35:41] Speaker 4: But I really don't. I don't know what to make
[35:43] Speaker 4: of it. In so much time has passed that it
[35:45] Speaker 4: feels less and less like visceral and real to me.
[35:48] Speaker 4: But at the time I didn't even question the reality
[35:51] Speaker 4: of the situation, and it was terrifying.
[35:54] Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I also am like, how does that work?
[35:58] Speaker 1: Like could you just like, first of all, sounds like
[36:02] Speaker 1: if you're like living in Illinois and you're like in
[36:04] Speaker 1: agony and then you find out that this person is
[36:06] Speaker 1: going to be moving to Hollywood to be like living
[36:10] Speaker 1: out their dreams, I'd be like, I'm going with that person,
[36:13] Speaker 1: like I'm hopping on that one.
[36:16] Speaker 2: How does ghostly transportation work? Do they get on the
[36:19] Speaker 2: planet or is it sort of like an apparition, well
[36:25] Speaker 2: sort of this location, next location.
[36:28] Speaker 1: You know, they they fly spirit oh, thank you.
[36:37] Speaker 4: And they have to check their emotional baggage.
[36:42] Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how. I don't know how any
[36:44] Speaker 1: of it works. But yeah, people do tell me stories
[36:47] Speaker 1: about things going home with them after they go to
[36:50] Speaker 1: a haunted place. But it's nice to just leave the
[36:53] Speaker 1: ghost at the haunted place. That's a new one. Well
[36:55] Speaker 1: that's not a new one, but it's it's it's nice
[36:58] Speaker 1: to hear.
[36:59] Speaker 4: I'm so confused about it. Yeah, I don't know if
[37:01] Speaker 4: she was like, you know what, there there are actually
[37:04] Speaker 4: some divas.
[37:04] Speaker 2: Here, Yeah, she says, are immaculate.
[37:08] Speaker 1: She saw hot guys are there. She's like, you know what,
[37:13] Speaker 1: hot hot bad? I want you bad.
[37:19] Speaker 4: She's like, Maggie, why are you being so dramatic? I
[37:21] Speaker 4: just came to say bye.
[37:22] Speaker 1: Yeah, literally, this is it, Chris, how are you gonna
[37:26] Speaker 1: follow that? I'm not like what, that's.
[37:30] Speaker 2: So stupid the order of the stories being told here.
[37:34] Speaker 4: Excited. I just got excited.
[37:38] Speaker 2: I also left my ghost somewhere. Actually. Okay, So in
[37:43] Speaker 2: middle school and high school I started getting really extreme
[37:46] Speaker 2: and frequent bouts of sleep paralysis and also like a
[37:52] Speaker 2: sort of like inception type thing, where like I would
[37:55] Speaker 2: wake up from dreams, live a little bit of my life,
[37:57] Speaker 2: and then wake up from that as a dream.
[37:59] Speaker 1: It was a dream the whole time. I dream the
[38:01] Speaker 1: whole time.
[38:01] Speaker 2: And they would go like truly four five layers deep
[38:04] Speaker 2: sometimes and it's so fucked up, yeah, incredibly distressing, you know.
[38:08] Speaker 2: Sometimes I'd get into the layers. I'd be like, this
[38:11] Speaker 2: is clearly a dream. I have to wait it out.
[38:12] Speaker 2: And then I'd wake up and I'd be like, great,
[38:14] Speaker 2: it's done, and then get up and like pee and
[38:16] Speaker 2: do whatever. And then i'd wake up again and I'd
[38:18] Speaker 2: be like, are you fucking kidding me?
[38:21] Speaker 1: I hate that?
[38:22] Speaker 2: But in conjunction with that, I started get like seeing
[38:26] Speaker 2: a well not seeing. At first, I was like feeling
[38:29] Speaker 2: the presence of like this sleep paralysis demon that people talk.
[38:33] Speaker 1: About, right, so what it looks like.
[38:37] Speaker 2: So this is like a slow burn, a slow escalation.
[38:41] Speaker 2: In middle school and high school when it like first
[38:44] Speaker 2: on set, I would experience it once every like three
[38:47] Speaker 2: or four months, you know. And at first it was
[38:51] Speaker 2: just like this deep rumbling paired with like the classic
[38:55] Speaker 2: sleep paralysis of like having your eyes open up. But
[38:58] Speaker 2: not being able to move. It was just like this
[39:00] Speaker 2: deep growling, rumbling thing. But then as it progressed, I
[39:06] Speaker 2: could start feeling it. So what it would feel like
[39:09] Speaker 2: is like a long, a long set of fingers like
[39:12] Speaker 2: crawling from my back up to my chest, like towards
[39:17] Speaker 2: my neck, and it never really got there, you know,
[39:20] Speaker 2: like by the time it like reached my clavicle, I
[39:24] Speaker 2: would sort of jolt awake, and then I wouldn't have
[39:27] Speaker 2: to think about it for another few months. After graduation,
[39:31] Speaker 2: it disappeared for a couple of years, but then it
[39:33] Speaker 2: came back really really hard towards the end of college,
[39:38] Speaker 2: and I was starting to experience it like every month,
[39:41] Speaker 2: and after graduating college it turned into like a weekly
[39:45] Speaker 2: sometimes multiple times a week situation where like I would
[39:49] Speaker 2: hear this growling and then I'd feel this thing, and
[39:51] Speaker 2: then the long fingers turned into a pressure on my
[39:53] Speaker 2: chest until eventually I could I did start seeing like
[39:57] Speaker 2: a figure in the corner of a room.
[39:59] Speaker 4: Ah.
[40:00] Speaker 2: At first, it was like really really vague, you know,
[40:04] Speaker 2: it was more of like a shadow that hovered.
[40:09] Speaker 4: Did it have a humanoid shape?
[40:11] Speaker 2: No, it didn't not at first at least. Okay, but
[40:15] Speaker 2: in twenty eighteen, I took my first solo trip and
[40:20] Speaker 2: I went through through Europe. I was backpacking.
[40:24] Speaker 1: I was backpacking through Europe. Oh wow, did you find yourself?
[40:27] Speaker 2: I was trying to find myself at a very young age. Yeah.
[40:31] Speaker 2: It was like a really fun trip. I went through
[40:34] Speaker 2: like France and Italy and Switzerland, and then I ended
[40:38] Speaker 2: my trip at like World Pride in Madrid, and then
[40:41] Speaker 2: knew I needed like a few come down days, so
[40:43] Speaker 2: I went back to Barcelona, where I had airbnb'd like
[40:48] Speaker 2: the attic space of this guy's house. And when I
[40:52] Speaker 2: got there, he met me eventually, and he he had
[40:56] Speaker 2: this like really weird energy. It wasn't like mean or sinister,
[41:00] Speaker 2: but it was sort of like panicked and maybe like
[41:05] Speaker 2: the stricken is like the best I could explain it.
[41:08] Speaker 2: But I didn't have very good Spanish, and I just
[41:11] Speaker 2: kind of like agreed with everything whatever he said. But
[41:14] Speaker 2: he showed me this place, gave me the keys, and
[41:18] Speaker 2: he kept trying to tell me something, but I was like, sure, yes,
[41:21] Speaker 2: thank you. But it was like a nicely very newly
[41:26] Speaker 2: refurnished little like triangular space where you'd have to like
[41:31] Speaker 2: kind of duck down half the.
[41:32] Speaker 1: Time He's like, just say, you know, the devil lives
[41:34] Speaker 1: here and it will come out in the middle of
[41:36] Speaker 1: the night and the slim trips from the walls. You're like, yeah, yes,
[41:43] Speaker 1: that's last.
[41:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, totally.
[41:49] Speaker 1: Do y'all have Gordida crunches here.
[41:55] Speaker 2: So my one of my friends who I met up
[41:58] Speaker 2: with for Old Pride Knee did an extra place to
[42:01] Speaker 2: stay for the last couple of days. So we I
[42:03] Speaker 2: was like, yeah, just come to stay with me in Barcelona,
[42:05] Speaker 2: share my bed, and okay, where is this going. The
[42:09] Speaker 2: night that we spent there, I had like a really
[42:14] Speaker 2: difficult time going to sleep because like, it's an attic,
[42:18] Speaker 2: the vibes are bad. Does like, despite how well you
[42:21] Speaker 2: put it together, it's still an attic and it's not good.
[42:24] Speaker 1: Let me just ask, based on both of your stories,
[42:27] Speaker 1: where would we rather sleep? Attic or basement attic?
[42:31] Speaker 2: You can jump down, but you can't jump.
[42:33] Speaker 1: Up, So you know, I always think about basements their
[42:37] Speaker 1: eye level with dead bodies that are buried in the ground.
[42:41] Speaker 2: No, no, for me.
[42:43] Speaker 4: I'm more are you into a basement?
[42:47] Speaker 1: Kind of why? I don't know. I missed the fact
[42:51] Speaker 1: because I grew up in the Midwest and like that's
[42:53] Speaker 1: like a whole other house down there.
[42:55] Speaker 4: I do miss basements.
[42:56] Speaker 1: I missed them. That's where like i'd get into trouble.
[43:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, they're so scary. There's too much above you.
[43:03] Speaker 1: Sorry, let's go back to you.
[43:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. So we're in the attic. My friend Danny
[43:08] Speaker 2: has fallen asleep, and I really try hard for a
[43:11] Speaker 2: couple hours to fall asleep, and I eventually do, and
[43:15] Speaker 2: then I like start experiencing my sleep paralysis. And so
[43:19] Speaker 2: it happened once, and it was like pretty quick. I
[43:22] Speaker 2: hear like the rumbling, I see like the figure, and
[43:25] Speaker 2: now it does sort of like hold a shape. It's
[43:28] Speaker 2: like quite tall, has long fingers, which I've always felt,
[43:33] Speaker 2: and it's wearing like some like some sort of like
[43:38] Speaker 2: uh like suit jacket adjacent type vibe. But it's like
[43:42] Speaker 2: more long, flowy, more drapey situation.
[43:45] Speaker 1: Not fitted.
[43:46] Speaker 2: No, not not at all. Danny Taylor upset about that certainly.
[43:51] Speaker 2: So I wake up. I was like, ah, sucks whatever.
[43:55] Speaker 2: I go back to bed, and then it happens again,
[43:57] Speaker 2: and I wake up. I was like, God, twice at
[44:01] Speaker 2: a night that's never happened. Before I go to bed again,
[44:04] Speaker 2: it happens again and again and again, and each time
[44:07] Speaker 2: this figure is getting closer and closer and closer. And
[44:11] Speaker 2: after five times, I'm like, okay, this is just something
[44:14] Speaker 2: that we're doing now, like it's just happening. So then
[44:17] Speaker 2: I start keeping a tally mark of each time it happens.
[44:20] Speaker 2: And it keeps happening, keeps happening ten times, eleven times,
[44:23] Speaker 2: twelve times, thirteen times, and each time it's getting closer
[44:25] Speaker 2: and closer and closer, and it finally ends up like
[44:29] Speaker 2: fully on top of me, like straddling my body with
[44:32] Speaker 2: its like hands around my neck. Now, yes, the rumbling
[44:36] Speaker 2: has never been louder, and its face like inches towards
[44:40] Speaker 2: me and just says like we're about to touch. I
[44:44] Speaker 2: wake up for the final time, and I just decide
[44:46] Speaker 2: I'm not going back to bed. It happened at least
[44:49] Speaker 2: eighteen times that night, and so.
[44:51] Speaker 4: I had eighteen tallies on you.
[44:53] Speaker 2: I had thirteen tallies, but given I knew it happened
[44:56] Speaker 2: at least five times other before.
[44:58] Speaker 1: But so we're clear you were going to sleep and
[45:01] Speaker 1: waking up and going to sleep and waking up like
[45:04] Speaker 1: all those times. Yes, that's what you're saying.
[45:06] Speaker 2: I woke up my friend several times screaming, and he
[45:10] Speaker 2: was just like, come on, cut it out.
[45:14] Speaker 1: You for being able to fall back asleep. I would
[45:16] Speaker 1: not be able to.
[45:17] Speaker 2: It's like we just went through like a week of
[45:20] Speaker 2: world crid I trusted.
[45:21] Speaker 1: Yeah. See, Like, what do you think the motive is
[45:25] Speaker 1: of that? Like are they trying to get inside of you?
[45:29] Speaker 1: Are they like trying to like have sex with you?
[45:32] Speaker 3: Know?
[45:33] Speaker 1: Sometimes we hear those stories.
[45:34] Speaker 4: Yeah, tallis of ghost loads taken, no loads, refuse, ghosts
[45:39] Speaker 4: come dump.
[45:40] Speaker 1: Like I wonder what it was, like, what its motive was.
[45:44] Speaker 2: I don't know, but that was the closestest ever gotten
[45:46] Speaker 2: And that was the last time I ever can That
[45:48] Speaker 2: was the last time. Yeah. The next day we left
[45:51] Speaker 2: the attic.
[45:52] Speaker 1: And maybe you left it, Yeah, you left it in Spain.
[45:55] Speaker 2: Hmm.
[45:56] Speaker 4: I have a theory about the sleep paralysis operation because
[46:00] Speaker 4: I experienced that too, and also a very similar type
[46:03] Speaker 4: like an unclothed but like a skinny, shadowy, lanky figure.
[46:09] Speaker 4: I've experienced that a few times, like a couple of
[46:12] Speaker 4: years ago in the house that I live in now,
[46:14] Speaker 4: and I painted it, which I think I showed you.
[46:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, but the one with the top hat, Yeah, top
[46:20] Speaker 2: hat maybe top hat.
[46:22] Speaker 4: And I tried to write a song about it, but
[46:24] Speaker 4: then I got like, I got uncomfortable with even focusing
[46:27] Speaker 4: on it because I just wanted to forget about it.
[46:29] Speaker 4: But my theory is that maybe when you're in this
[46:31] Speaker 4: liminal space of like you're sort of dreaming, you're sort
[46:34] Speaker 4: of not maybe these spirits, if they notice that you
[46:39] Speaker 4: notice them, and in this instance it was getting closer,
[46:43] Speaker 4: maybe it was like I'm feeling noticed. I'm drawn to
[46:47] Speaker 4: this attention, like I want more of it. So maybe
[46:50] Speaker 4: they don't even know what their intention is a is
[46:52] Speaker 4: they're getting closer but creeping up to you. They just
[46:54] Speaker 4: know that there is, for whatever reason, like a consciousness.
[46:58] Speaker 2: They're a tether.
[46:59] Speaker 4: They're like the opposite of the ghost and Mario party.
[47:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly when you look at these ones, they come
[47:06] Speaker 2: to you.
[47:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
[47:09] Speaker 1: Maybe they're like me. They need attention to thrive. They
[47:14] Speaker 1: just need that attention, that acknowledgment. Yeah. And there's there's
[47:19] Speaker 1: a lot of theories about sleep paralysis, and I always
[47:24] Speaker 1: say I think it could there could be scientific explanations
[47:27] Speaker 1: for it, but also ghosts explanations. At the same time,
[47:31] Speaker 1: I think it's both at the same time you're in
[47:34] Speaker 1: a state that is, you know, the dream state and
[47:38] Speaker 1: not dreams like even dreams. I think ghosts can come
[47:41] Speaker 1: to you in dreams, and I totally believe in it.
[47:45] Speaker 1: I've also heard stories where people like two people see
[47:48] Speaker 1: it the same thing at the same time or whatever
[47:51] Speaker 1: that's so creepy. I've never had sleep paralysis, and I
[47:56] Speaker 1: hope to never. And apparently one of the ways that
[47:59] Speaker 1: you can get sleep paralysis or something that certainly could
[48:04] Speaker 1: help you have it is like talking about it and
[48:07] Speaker 1: thinking about it and yes, but please keep listening and
[48:11] Speaker 1: like and subscribe infectious like a but I talk about
[48:15] Speaker 1: it all the time. It's ever happened to me. I think,
[48:17] Speaker 1: because I've taken a survey for the past six years
[48:19] Speaker 1: of this podcast, that it happens when you sleep on
[48:23] Speaker 1: your back or your side. It doesn't happen as much
[48:26] Speaker 1: when you sleep on your stomach.
[48:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're suffocating yourself exactly. I wonder what like
[48:33] Speaker 2: these apparitions see, you know, like we have a hard
[48:37] Speaker 2: time identifying their full figure, you know, and I wonder
[48:41] Speaker 2: if it's the same for them, like going off your
[48:43] Speaker 2: theory of just like, oh, I'm being seen let me
[48:44] Speaker 2: see it. Like, I wonder if they're just like seeing
[48:47] Speaker 2: like a little light or something and not really us,
[48:49] Speaker 2: and they're just like, what is that thing? Let me
[48:52] Speaker 2: go after that thing?
[48:54] Speaker 1: And then they realize it's a human. They're like, oh
[48:56] Speaker 1: my god, I'm so sorry. This probably was so crazy.
[48:59] Speaker 1: This is so embarrassing, really creepy for you. I'm sorry.
[49:01] Speaker 4: I'm literally like not even wearing any clothes. Oh my god,
[49:04] Speaker 4: I'm so sorry.
[49:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, my full hog is out right now.
[49:08] Speaker 1: I'm telling you. That's the other story that I hear
[49:10] Speaker 1: is people getting fucked by a ghost?
[49:13] Speaker 2: How many? How many?
[49:15] Speaker 1: How many times have I heard it?
[49:16] Speaker 2: How many?
[49:17] Speaker 1: Not as many as I would like to, but I've
[49:20] Speaker 1: heard it a number of times.
[49:22] Speaker 2: I like, are they feeling whole expanding contract? You know?
[49:26] Speaker 1: I don't know. It's more like they're just like having
[49:32] Speaker 1: like sexual stimulation. I think, give us a dream. I know.
[49:37] Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm like, is it just that or is it
[49:39] Speaker 1: like you just have like a really erotic sexy dream.
[49:43] Speaker 1: I don't know. Whatever. Okay, you know what, can I
[49:48] Speaker 1: show you a haunted doll? Yes? Please, it's time for
[49:55] Speaker 1: the dolls are living? Okay, here's what I do I
[50:02] Speaker 1: go to eBay dot com, I type in the words
[50:05] Speaker 1: haunted doll. There's thousands of them, and I like to
[50:09] Speaker 1: feature one every week. Usually the story goes, a living
[50:14] Speaker 1: human has found themselves inside of this haunted doll after
[50:18] Speaker 1: they've died, and now it's for sale on eBay. There's
[50:21] Speaker 1: clearly supply and demand because there's always new ones up there.
[50:25] Speaker 1: Tell me the truth.
[50:26] Speaker 2: Have you ever come across a haunted blow up doll?
[50:28] Speaker 1: Haunted blow up doll?
[50:29] Speaker 2: It is a variety of doll.
[50:31] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't see why it couldn't happen. Sure,
[50:35] Speaker 1: why not?
[50:37] Speaker 4: I know that's where i'd go. Yeah, there's things first,
[50:40] Speaker 4: if I if I die right into a blow up doll.
[50:44] Speaker 1: It seems like you can literally do that to anything
[50:47] Speaker 1: based on many people's beliefs of this stuff. I mean,
[50:50] Speaker 1: you go on eBay, you can find a haunted can
[50:54] Speaker 1: of Lacroix. You find literally anything, and people are selling it.
[50:58] Speaker 1: You know, it's a great hustle. But we've got one
[51:02] Speaker 1: for you today that does not have a name. They
[51:04] Speaker 1: usually have names, this one does not, but she is
[51:07] Speaker 1: a dva. Gee. Can you show us this haunted doll? Please?
[51:11] Speaker 1: You got it? Ras Oh yes, she has beat honey,
[51:17] Speaker 1: that phase blended in the eyes. She's she's got maybe
[51:23] Speaker 1: a little too much blush on, but it's a look.
[51:25] Speaker 1: I love it too.
[51:26] Speaker 2: Do you know who's giving who?
[51:28] Speaker 4: Max?
[51:28] Speaker 2: Season seven RuPaul's drag race?
[51:30] Speaker 1: Oh wow, yes she also. I mean she's got the lip.
[51:37] Speaker 1: She's a makeup queen for sure. She's watched the tutorials.
[51:40] Speaker 1: She knows what she's doing.
[51:42] Speaker 4: You soft. I love the lip and also like the
[51:45] Speaker 4: smiling eyes. She's yeah she's judging you, but you know
[51:50] Speaker 4: she's still having a good time.
[51:51] Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't need to wear a lash, she just
[51:53] Speaker 1: draws it on and I like that too. Ge how
[51:56] Speaker 1: can we see her full body? Please? Stand by body snatch.
[52:03] Speaker 1: Waist is definitely cinched.
[52:05] Speaker 4: Well, I've worn this outfit before.
[52:07] Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on with the shoes.
[52:09] Speaker 2: Toes are those that?
[52:11] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, she's a ballerina.
[52:12] Speaker 1: Oh I see how it is? Okay, okay, okay, yeah,
[52:15] Speaker 1: she's like a ballerina.
[52:16] Speaker 3: God.
[52:18] Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, there they are heels and
[52:21] Speaker 2: they're knocked in to each other.
[52:23] Speaker 1: Oh that's what I can't okay.
[52:25] Speaker 4: Oh oh that was like an illusion?
[52:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, that was illusion.
[52:28] Speaker 1: I was Okay, So the long pointy part is the heel.
[52:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, she's it's giving a wicked witch of the East
[52:35] Speaker 2: got hit by the house.
[52:36] Speaker 1: Right, But how are you gonna walk in those? That's
[52:39] Speaker 1: very like those Lady Gaga, like, what are those shoes? Whatever?
[52:43] Speaker 4: The front heels, Yes, she doesn't need to walk, she
[52:46] Speaker 4: just floats.
[52:47] Speaker 1: Well, this one she comes with a bio, so let
[52:49] Speaker 1: me tell you a little bit about her. This person.
[52:51] Speaker 1: By the way, they're selling it for two hundred dollars
[52:54] Speaker 1: and anyone that wants to see a photo of this
[52:57] Speaker 1: if you're not watching the video version of this podcast,
[52:59] Speaker 1: just go to my Instagram for the pod, which is
[53:01] Speaker 1: ghosted by ras under the tab Dolls. Okay, when my
[53:07] Speaker 1: grandmother died, I inherited two curses. One was a cat
[53:12] Speaker 1: equal parts beautiful and evil. The other was this sassy,
[53:17] Speaker 1: haunted queen. We prefer she lived in a closet, but
[53:21] Speaker 1: I recently took her out and she won't let me
[53:23] Speaker 1: put her back in. This is a problem since our
[53:26] Speaker 1: most sensitive dog has identified her as the true threat
[53:30] Speaker 1: that she is. Always go with the dog's impression of
[53:34] Speaker 1: someone or something or someone. You might be wondering what
[53:41] Speaker 1: curse she has had on my household, and to be truthful,
[53:45] Speaker 1: it's something you won't know until you buy her and
[53:49] Speaker 1: she's no longer here. Will my lower back stop hurting
[53:53] Speaker 1: if I lift something heavy? Will we never have another
[53:58] Speaker 1: aunt infestation? Will I suddenly like vegetables? Help us out?
[54:04] Speaker 1: Make her your problem? I have a fan this personal
[54:07] Speaker 1: listens to those podcasts and wrote up this sassy haunted
[54:11] Speaker 1: queen they call her.
[54:13] Speaker 4: I love flaming like all of your life's little inconveniences
[54:16] Speaker 4: on being haunted.
[54:17] Speaker 1: Totally vegetables because this doll made me stop liking vegetables.
[54:21] Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm not going to eat carrots. I'm literally
[54:24] Speaker 4: possessed by a demon, a.
[54:25] Speaker 1: Demon that does not like carrots. So yeah, anyone listening
[54:30] Speaker 1: two hundred dollars go snatch her up and get cursed.
[54:33] Speaker 1: Sounds fun in.
[54:35] Speaker 2: Her full body image. The vibe that it's giving is
[54:38] Speaker 2: she just got told that they ran out of Gordida,
[54:40] Speaker 2: crunches all and she has to float to the next location.
[54:45] Speaker 1: Okay, been there, ahlet's do another thing. I want to
[54:52] Speaker 1: play some ghost voices for you. Is that okay?
[54:55] Speaker 2: Yes? Yes, this feels like a game show.
[54:57] Speaker 1: Okay, it is it's time for or ev pase. So
[55:06] Speaker 1: the term EVP it's electronic voice phenomenon. So basically it's
[55:11] Speaker 1: like when a ghost hunter believes have captured a ghost
[55:14] Speaker 1: saying faggot or like you know something something. However, those
[55:19] Speaker 1: times I've had that happen, that was a more electronic
[55:23] Speaker 1: MACHINEE type version. These ones are more organic. These are
[55:28] Speaker 1: like someone's recording a with a camera or an audio
[55:31] Speaker 1: device and all of a sudden you hear a little voice.
[55:34] Speaker 1: So these are both from a YouTube channel called No
[55:40] Speaker 1: Paranormal Society, which is I believe New Orleans Paranormal Society.
[55:47] Speaker 1: This first one was not in New Orleans, though it
[55:50] Speaker 1: was at a place called Poplarville in Mississippi. What is
[55:55] Speaker 1: this ghost saying?
[56:00] Speaker 4: Hm, that's that's it, that's it.
[56:10] Speaker 2: Wait one more I'm hearing? Was that the maleman pause?
[56:23] Speaker 4: Up you little gay?
[56:28] Speaker 1: Way? Wait wait wait wait.
[56:34] Speaker 2: Vaguely British pulls up gay.
[56:36] Speaker 1: It's Charlie. Yeah, my god, this is going to become
[56:41] Speaker 1: a pride anthem this lady little gay. Now, that is
[56:47] Speaker 1: not what No Paranormal Society thought. Neither of those did
[56:53] Speaker 1: they think it was a I'll zap your girl is
[56:58] Speaker 1: that what you said, Maleman. Okay, do they think it
[57:02] Speaker 1: was B? Is that the woman? Do they think it
[57:06] Speaker 1: was C exactly?
[57:09] Speaker 2: Oh? They thought it was B?
[57:11] Speaker 1: Or D Finn Argus, it's me the lady. I'm back.
[57:17] Speaker 4: United at long last?
[57:21] Speaker 1: Which one did they think it was? How's that your girl?
[57:26] Speaker 1: Is that the woman exactly? Or Dargus? Is me the lady?
[57:31] Speaker 1: I'm back.
[57:34] Speaker 4: I guess I'm gonna go with is that the woman?
[57:36] Speaker 2: Is that the woman?
[57:37] Speaker 1: That is what they thought? Is that the woman? We
[57:40] Speaker 1: now that we know that, let's listen. I like, pause up,
[57:46] Speaker 1: you gay.
[57:48] Speaker 4: I think I'm.
[57:48] Speaker 1: Right, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I guess. Okay,
[57:54] Speaker 1: here's the last one. This was at the Actor's Theater
[58:00] Speaker 1: of New Orleans.
[58:01] Speaker 4: Oh been there?
[58:06] Speaker 1: Okay, wait, this one's like way off in the distance
[58:09] Speaker 1: in real teeny tiny quiet. Uh, we really have to
[58:13] Speaker 1: listen in for this one. It's real soft.
[58:21] Speaker 2: Okay, you got a hearing. Please don't hurt me.
[58:27] Speaker 1: I hear that, but it could be other things. Any
[58:30] Speaker 1: guesses from you?
[58:30] Speaker 4: Finn, it's me fin our guests?
[58:35] Speaker 1: Were you there for I actually try to perform?
[58:39] Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm pretty sure we filmed queer as folks. I
[58:43] Speaker 4: might be misremembering, but there's the whole like drag school
[58:46] Speaker 4: sequence that was in I think that theater.
[58:51] Speaker 1: It might have been you. There might have been a
[58:53] Speaker 1: ghost hunting crew there. Wait, yeah, look it up.
[58:56] Speaker 2: Is it also the place that's like kind of related
[58:58] Speaker 2: to the nunnery that one? Is that what we're thinking of?
[59:02] Speaker 4: I don't remember, but yeah, I feel.
[59:04] Speaker 1: Like nunneries are all haunted. That sounds creepy. Wait, actors theater,
[59:11] Speaker 1: Oh my god, I just took my nails off and
[59:12] Speaker 1: I don't know how to type anymore New Orleans.
[59:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, I could probably tell you from looking at it.
[59:20] Speaker 1: This place theater recent photo. It's a very old picture.
[59:28] Speaker 4: I mean, so many of the buildings look so similar
[59:30] Speaker 4: down there, but it is reminiscent of where we film
[59:33] Speaker 4: that I don't I can't remember if it is. But regardless,
[59:36] Speaker 4: I think that ghost was remembering seeing me there filming
[59:41] Speaker 4: Queer as Folk and they're just stuck in a loop.
[59:44] Speaker 4: Now they can't wait for me to come back. Oh no,
[59:47] Speaker 4: but they don't know we.
[59:48] Speaker 1: Got to bring the show back.
[59:50] Speaker 2: They don't bring now.
[59:52] Speaker 4: For eternity, They'll just be like.
[59:55] Speaker 1: And then my canceled TV show that did one season
[59:58] Speaker 1: should come back to go ghost hut there crossover crossover. Okay,
[1:00:08] Speaker 1: did this ghost say A Ooh, I'm spooky, B you
[1:00:16] Speaker 1: don't know me? C will you show me? Or D?
[1:00:23] Speaker 1: Would you prefer a dramatic or comedic monologue? I have
[1:00:27] Speaker 1: a B A very dramatic arts and I'm union they
[1:00:31] Speaker 1: were there for an audition because it's the actors theater.
[1:00:35] Speaker 1: Let me play it a game. Please don't hurt me
[1:00:41] Speaker 1: as a ghost.
[1:00:42] Speaker 4: Actually though, yeah, I think you're right. It sounds a
[1:00:46] Speaker 4: lot like please don't hurt me.
[1:00:47] Speaker 2: There's a distress in the voice.
[1:00:49] Speaker 1: Yeah, well they believe it was B you don't know me,
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: which is very like Doctor Phil teenage girl coming out
[1:01:01] Speaker 1: like you don't know me.
[1:01:03] Speaker 4: Yeah, that's run finished business. She was on an episode
[1:01:06] Speaker 4: of Doctor Phil.
[1:01:07] Speaker 1: It could be.
[1:01:11] Speaker 2: Now. I'm also hearing to be or not to be?
[1:01:14] Speaker 1: Wait a second less so maybe yeah? Maybe yeah?
[1:01:24] Speaker 2: Or get THEE to a nunnery.
[1:01:26] Speaker 1: Get THEE to a nunnery. Uh, let's see one last
[1:01:30] Speaker 1: thing real quick.
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just gonna give you.
[1:01:32] Speaker 1: Some like paranormal like topics. Tell me if you believe,
[1:01:37] Speaker 1: you don't believe, if you're whatever does that anything?
[1:01:41] Speaker 2: Okay?
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: Ouiji boards belief belief.
[1:01:45] Speaker 2: My dad bought me and my sister a Ouiji board
[1:01:47] Speaker 2: when I was younger, and my mom really hated that idea,
[1:01:50] Speaker 2: and she said, she said, throw it away, and so
[1:01:52] Speaker 2: he threw it away into the garbage can. The garbage
[1:01:54] Speaker 2: man came by, took it away, and then I looked
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: inside the garbage can and it.
[1:01:59] Speaker 4: Was stuck to the site, stuck to the side.
[1:02:01] Speaker 2: It was stuck to the side of the gard like
[1:02:03] Speaker 2: the inside interior wall of the garbage can, like the.
[1:02:05] Speaker 4: Whole board I covered an ecdoplasm.
[1:02:08] Speaker 1: Yes, it was dripping. It wanted to come back. That's scary.
[1:02:12] Speaker 1: That's good. What about Bigfoot?
[1:02:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, sure, I want to believe because kind of my type.
[1:02:20] Speaker 4: He's hot. Yeah right, Oh my god, if I saw
[1:02:23] Speaker 4: him stalking towards me in the woods, i'd introduced myself.
[1:02:27] Speaker 1: You should, absolutely, I mean, I'm sure bigfoot goes freaky dookie.
[1:02:33] Speaker 4: You know what they say about big feet, big shoes.
[1:02:37] Speaker 1: Uh UFOs?
[1:02:41] Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, absolutely, Do I believe in UFOs.
[1:02:44] Speaker 1: Do you think that there are like alien creatures that
[1:02:48] Speaker 1: live on another planet?
[1:02:49] Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know about another planet. I actually am
[1:02:53] Speaker 4: reading a book about aliens.
[1:02:54] Speaker 1: Right now, fiction or nonfiction is.
[1:02:57] Speaker 4: Supposedly nonfiction, but it is giving like sort of conspiracy theory.
[1:03:01] Speaker 1: That's the problem with that world. It gets like it's
[1:03:04] Speaker 1: real on the line, like.
[1:03:06] Speaker 4: It's on the line it's from It's actually written by
[1:03:09] Speaker 4: someone who used to work in the Pentagon and I
[1:03:14] Speaker 4: forget the author's name, Luey something. But it's really interesting.
[1:03:19] Speaker 4: It is fully like aliens are here now. But the
[1:03:24] Speaker 4: theory is that maybe they're not from a different planet.
[1:03:27] Speaker 4: They could be intelligent life forms that originated on our planet,
[1:03:30] Speaker 4: yeah and live in like deep ocean or their interdimensional species.
[1:03:36] Speaker 4: So they exist on Earth in different locations in space
[1:03:39] Speaker 4: and time. Yeah, and they're able to break through layers
[1:03:43] Speaker 4: of dimensions to access our point in space and time.
[1:03:47] Speaker 4: I don't understand this. I don't know what I think
[1:03:50] Speaker 4: about it, but it is fun to read.
[1:03:51] Speaker 1: I just want to like be friends with like one. Yeah,
[1:03:55] Speaker 1: I just.
[1:03:55] Speaker 2: Need confirmation before I die, That's all I want to
[1:03:59] Speaker 2: witness before leath this earth.
[1:04:01] Speaker 1: Now, when you die, do you think that you'll get
[1:04:03] Speaker 1: all the answers though?
[1:04:04] Speaker 2: You mean, like as like a after visit summary, Yeah,
[1:04:09] Speaker 2: I hope.
[1:04:09] Speaker 4: So, yeah, like when you finish the act and all
[1:04:12] Speaker 4: the answers are in like a perforated.
[1:04:15] Speaker 1: That's how it should be.
[1:04:16] Speaker 2: I think it should be like, this was the right religion,
[1:04:19] Speaker 2: this is where the aliens were or not were, And uh,
[1:04:23] Speaker 2: it turns out cuttlefish weren't edible.
[1:04:27] Speaker 1: What about past lives?
[1:04:30] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, actually, I'm going to go ahead and say, yeah, totally.
[1:04:34] Speaker 4: This is this is like the one thing that I
[1:04:36] Speaker 4: could actually be like, I feel like that's that's the thing.
[1:04:39] Speaker 4: Because the way that I think about the world and
[1:04:42] Speaker 4: like the universe at large is it's just this mass
[1:04:45] Speaker 4: of matter and energy that's constantly like destroying itself and
[1:04:49] Speaker 4: taking new forms. And I think of consciousness as one giant,
[1:04:54] Speaker 4: like connected thing. So all of these lives are taking
[1:04:57] Speaker 4: place right now in some place in space in time,
[1:05:01] Speaker 4: and we experience it in a linear way just because
[1:05:04] Speaker 4: of the way humans experience consciousness. But I don't fully
[1:05:07] Speaker 4: understand quantum physics. But the way that my brain has
[1:05:11] Speaker 4: like loosely grabbed onto it is that these positions in
[1:05:14] Speaker 4: space and time are always happening unless they get like
[1:05:17] Speaker 4: destroyed by a black hole or something. So I don't
[1:05:20] Speaker 4: think it makes sense that a consciousness would be like
[1:05:23] Speaker 4: this one tiny little blade of grass that's like separate
[1:05:26] Speaker 4: from everything else. I feel like it's all connected, and
[1:05:30] Speaker 4: I think that we are all one giant blob of consciousness.
[1:05:34] Speaker 2: I would like to imagine that after this life, I
[1:05:36] Speaker 2: get reborn into another conscious body on a different planet somewhere.
[1:05:40] Speaker 1: Hell yeah, yeah, it's different to mention just checking it out. Yeah,
[1:05:45] Speaker 1: now I'm thinking about being a blob.
[1:05:49] Speaker 4: Brings me a lot of peace to think about being
[1:05:51] Speaker 4: a blob.
[1:05:54] Speaker 2: To be a blob without taxes.
[1:05:56] Speaker 1: Ah, God, you're telling me without without donuts doing anything
[1:06:03] Speaker 1: to my waiflying? Hi, tell people about your podcast?
[1:06:09] Speaker 4: Oh, speaking of UFOs.
[1:06:12] Speaker 2: Yes, no, we host a podcast called One of Us
