[0:00] Speaker 1: We're not even conditioned for niggas to have this type
[0:03] Speaker 1: of money.
[0:04] Speaker 2: So the way we act is just awful impulse.
[0:07] Speaker 1: If we really formulate a group and be like, look,
[0:10] Speaker 1: you take all the money you spend here, You take
[0:13] Speaker 1: all the money you spend here.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Not only that the black motherfucker has the.
[0:17] Speaker 1: Same shit they like, Nigga, I'm not paying three hundred
[0:21] Speaker 1: and fifty dollars of his sweatshirt.
[0:22] Speaker 2: This shit should be forty.
[0:24] Speaker 1: You don't know, Louis, you're gonna go in here and
[0:26] Speaker 1: spend a thousand dollars on the shirt because who said
[0:29] Speaker 1: that this motherfucker was worth a thousand? This is what
[0:32] Speaker 1: you see, This is what you conditioned to. So we
[0:36] Speaker 1: have to wipe this whole narrative and the way we
[0:39] Speaker 1: think on a certain situations on what's hot, what's elevating,
[0:43] Speaker 1: what's morally making you progress, and then we're gonna literally
[0:48] Speaker 1: find ourselves in a better state of mind.
[0:50] Speaker 3: I think that's the taket of generation to do it, though,
[0:52] Speaker 3: because you think about those brands you just name with
[0:55] Speaker 3: Louis Vauton or Rolex, these are brands that have been
[0:58] Speaker 3: around for hundreds of years, have been able to prosper
[1:01] Speaker 3: for hundreds of years. And then that branding is something
[1:03] Speaker 3: that you see and you automated, automatically attached to being wealthy,
[1:08] Speaker 3: or you automatically attached to being you know, well off.
[1:11] Speaker 3: You don't have those status symbols amongst us, like the.
[1:15] Speaker 2: Thing we don't have.
[1:16] Speaker 3: I don't even think I can name one thing that
[1:19] Speaker 3: a black man has created and owned that you can
[1:21] Speaker 3: have on you or with you that make you pla
[1:23] Speaker 3: oh he got a whatever, Oh he got some corn bread.
[1:26] Speaker 2: From Uncle Rick.
[1:28] Speaker 3: Money off white, I mean, but still that was that
[1:32] Speaker 3: was connected to a brand that was already established. So
[1:37] Speaker 3: for us to be able to do it without getting that,
[1:39] Speaker 3: you know what I mean, that extra hand that the
[1:41] Speaker 3: big brother hand to come and say, hey, give me that,
[1:43] Speaker 3: you know what I mean, that's what It's going to
[1:45] Speaker 3: take a while.
[1:46] Speaker 2: I believe, and I think it is here, but he
[1:49] Speaker 2: to add on his. It's in my head, but see
[1:52] Speaker 2: to add on his.
[1:53] Speaker 1: We use that materialisty like he said, we put that
[1:56] Speaker 1: value on the roll legs and the lure be like, okay,
[1:59] Speaker 1: we made it. Instead that are saying, spiritually, cordially, what's
[2:03] Speaker 1: making it to us? Because that were putting our status
[2:07] Speaker 1: on making it when peace can be mean you made it,
[2:10] Speaker 1: your friend in a better state of mind, Mean you
[2:13] Speaker 1: made it. You're thinking you're going outside Joe, your state
[2:16] Speaker 1: of mind and the way you're supposed to live.
[2:18] Speaker 2: And this is value and this is validation to everybody else.
[2:21] Speaker 4: You know what made me stop buying that ship? I
[2:23] Speaker 4: actually google who these people were, look him up. Some
[2:28] Speaker 4: terrible looking motherfuckers. I'm telling you, once you see the chest,
[2:33] Speaker 4: the names you putting on your body, you don't really
[2:36] Speaker 4: rethink that ship. Why would you give a fuck what
[2:39] Speaker 4: the old white man thinks cool?
[2:41] Speaker 2: Why?
[2:42] Speaker 5: That's what Dame Dash told us. I won't name a designer,
[2:44] Speaker 5: but he talking about the designer that's really popular. He
[2:46] Speaker 5: was like, Yo, I know that he's a bad person,
[2:49] Speaker 5: a terrible person. He's like so when ask when somebody
[2:52] Speaker 5: raps about him, you got to question them, right because
[2:55] Speaker 5: it's like like he's like this, and he's like yeah,
[2:58] Speaker 5: and they know and they know he's a bad person.
[3:00] Speaker 5: Like you know what I'm saying, So like, yo, I
[3:02] Speaker 5: know these people personally, like they're like real devil.
[3:05] Speaker 6: But I want to talk about that. You said it
[3:06] Speaker 6: might take a generation in DC. You said the same thing.
[3:08] Speaker 6: All we in the midst of that generation, right, Because
[3:10] Speaker 6: if we're supposed to be what I'm saying, when you
[3:13] Speaker 6: look at if we're talking about just the entertainment space,
[3:15] Speaker 6: especially in your space. When I look at y'all and
[3:18] Speaker 6: I look at what y'all doing with eighty five media,
[3:20] Speaker 6: I'm watching it firsthand. When I look at like we
[3:23] Speaker 6: were backstage and we're talking about this is a family,
[3:25] Speaker 6: I'm looking at who y'all hiring. This is not the
[3:27] Speaker 6: example this is now being celebrated. Yeah, Netflix recognized it,
[3:30] Speaker 6: but the community recognized it for right years. Right, I'm
[3:33] Speaker 6: looking at early Lesion, same right in the financial space.
[3:36] Speaker 6: Shout out to Charlamage again and Black Fact what they're
[3:39] Speaker 6: doing in the pocket, It's like, you know, it's happening
[3:42] Speaker 6: within the midst of it. We just got to keep
[3:44] Speaker 6: leading these examples and change the mindset of the people
[3:46] Speaker 6: as we're doing it. So when y'all, when y'all perform, right,
[3:49] Speaker 6: Because when I look at you, I never looked like yo,
[3:51] Speaker 6: these guys are comedians. I first took at like, yo,
[3:53] Speaker 6: these guys are brilliant. They're brilliant because what they do
[3:55] Speaker 6: is impossible. Are y'all going into these spaces with that
[3:59] Speaker 6: kind of said thought, like we represent the generation that
[4:03] Speaker 6: we're talking about right now.
[4:04] Speaker 4: Okay, even look at this platform right here, Look at
[4:07] Speaker 4: all the things you've been able to do our your
[4:09] Speaker 4: leision right now. Think of how much further ahead we'd
[4:12] Speaker 4: be if we came from if your dad was a
[4:15] Speaker 4: camera man for thirty years, or if your dad was
[4:17] Speaker 4: a producer for thirty years, or your mom was the
[4:20] Speaker 4: secretariat Warner Brothers. Like if we were grandfather, then we'd
[4:25] Speaker 4: be billionaire. Fact, like you're said with the generation and change,
[4:29] Speaker 4: were the first generation with that was a blueprints because
[4:32] Speaker 4: we start this started out as homeboys making jokes on
[4:39] Speaker 4: a show, right, we didn't know that it was We
[4:41] Speaker 4: didn't know that we would have to accept the responsibility
[4:44] Speaker 4: of having to create our own media company. Like when
[4:48] Speaker 4: we were sitting there and we were going out, we
[4:50] Speaker 4: were meeting with these people like yeah, we want to
[4:51] Speaker 4: take it on the road, we want to do this,
[4:52] Speaker 4: we want to do this, and they were like, how.
[4:55] Speaker 2: It'll never work.
[4:56] Speaker 4: Like those were literally the worst of these same people
[4:59] Speaker 4: who come back, it's great.
[5:02] Speaker 1: Ally, I can't I'm talking abys.
[5:07] Speaker 4: I'm who gonna help us, help us. We can't do
[5:12] Speaker 4: this ship by ourself. We don't have the knowledge of
[5:16] Speaker 4: if we were just sitting here. We don't know how
[5:18] Speaker 4: to put that camera right there.
[5:20] Speaker 1: But we're the one that take the risk for to
[5:22] Speaker 1: be the blueprint exactly right, you see what I'm saying,
[5:25] Speaker 1: But also we observed because we observe y'all as well,
[5:28] Speaker 1: where it's like, okay, it does work.
[5:31] Speaker 2: But see, this is what goes back to what I
[5:34] Speaker 2: said earlier.
[5:35] Speaker 1: If we just stop hating on one another and really
[5:38] Speaker 1: say what could we do together?
[5:41] Speaker 2: Or believe in me. I don't know what the fuck
[5:44] Speaker 2: I'm getting myself into.
[5:46] Speaker 1: When you said you believe in the little brother, I
[5:48] Speaker 1: ain't even know what the fuck this was. And then
[5:51] Speaker 1: once I saw the bigger picture, it took me. It
[5:53] Speaker 1: took me probably three three and a half years, even
[5:56] Speaker 1: after we don pop off for me to really put
[5:59] Speaker 1: my stamp on it, because I had to sit back
[6:01] Speaker 1: and I was like, but we got a lot of people, Hold,
[6:06] Speaker 1: look this motherfucker go to work here every day.
[6:09] Speaker 2: Okay, this is bigger than how I perceive it.
[6:14] Speaker 1: Now I'm looking at it how they looking at it,
[6:16] Speaker 1: and I'm looking at how everybody else is looking at it.
[6:18] Speaker 2: And I'm like, hmm, what can I do to enhance this?
[6:23] Speaker 1: And then once I start, I said, you know what,
[6:26] Speaker 1: this is why I appreciate y'all because y'all bring a
[6:30] Speaker 1: certain energy. Well, nigga has to be you gotta pick
[6:33] Speaker 1: up or you're gonna find out you slack it.
[6:35] Speaker 2: And when you slack and you're like, okay, I'm the problem.
[6:38] Speaker 1: And then once I see I'm the problem, it's like,
[6:40] Speaker 1: how can I enhance this situation and make it better
[6:42] Speaker 1: amongst people who bring in that same type of energy.
[6:46] Speaker 2: What did it for me? What it's like.
[6:50] Speaker 4: Seeing everybody around us right not have to go to work?
[6:55] Speaker 2: Right? Not have to go you know what I mean?
[6:57] Speaker 2: Like this is your job? Now?
[6:59] Speaker 4: When I saw our friends quitting their job, then I
[7:02] Speaker 4: knew I was like, this is this is really something
[7:06] Speaker 4: because that was just a whole different feeling that I
[7:08] Speaker 4: never even thought, like you know, of course, and this
[7:10] Speaker 4: ship when you're like I quit my job, I do
[7:12] Speaker 4: this other people like and my daughter camera man, he
[7:16] Speaker 4: had to go get no other jobs for three years?
[7:19] Speaker 2: Right, Like you straight?
[7:21] Speaker 4: You good?
[7:22] Speaker 2: My boy?
[7:22] Speaker 4: Like I'm not only am I good? I'm better because
[7:25] Speaker 4: I got my own independence. I'm free, I could, I
[7:30] Speaker 4: don't have to. And that's what really set the tone
[7:32] Speaker 4: for me and watching other people me that.
[7:35] Speaker 3: Was it was seeing the people like the people being out,
[7:38] Speaker 3: you know, because whenever I go to a city, I
[7:40] Speaker 3: always touched the city.
[7:41] Speaker 2: In whatever way I can.
[7:43] Speaker 3: And once people start coming up to me talking about
[7:45] Speaker 3: us versus everything else that they see us do, like
[7:48] Speaker 3: they specifically say, yeah, man, I know you from but
[7:51] Speaker 3: that shiit y'all doing, Bro, keep doing that shit. That's
[7:54] Speaker 3: what made me know, like, Okay, we impacted because certain places,
[7:57] Speaker 3: you wouldn't even think that we was touching those places
[8:00] Speaker 3: because I be some places, molack, man, what you're doing here?
[8:03] Speaker 3: And when I see that we uh, we were there.
[8:05] Speaker 3: When I saw we had infiltrated those places that you
[8:07] Speaker 3: can't infiltrate, especially in our community. It's certain places that
[8:11] Speaker 3: they not even letting no new ship come through. It's like, nigga,
[8:14] Speaker 3: fuck that we got what we like and that's it.
[8:17] Speaker 2: I had went to the.
[8:17] Speaker 4: Gas station and they had the ad had the ship
[8:20] Speaker 4: playing out like.
[8:22] Speaker 2: That type of ship.
[8:22] Speaker 3: Bro made it to the hoods, that type of ship
[8:26] Speaker 3: of shops, those type of things
[8:29] Speaker 1: My graduates from my school being forced back drop, back drop,
[8:35] Speaker 1: Mike drop, back drop, drop,
