## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: All right, let's get into it. It's been an eventful month. Yes,
[0:05] Speaker 1: it's been an eventful month, from the Atlanta mayor situation
[0:09] Speaker 1: to invest Fest to post invest Fest and here we are.
[0:14] Speaker 1: So we're not going to drag this out too long,
[0:18] Speaker 1: but it's important to actually have We're gonna break this
[0:21] Speaker 1: down surgical for the audience because it's really important for
[0:26] Speaker 1: people to understand, and we're gonna have a whole dialogue
[0:29] Speaker 1: about this. So let's talk about invest Fest. Right, invest Fest,
[0:36] Speaker 1: there would be no investment invest FST wouldn't be possible
[0:39] Speaker 1: without Troy. He's added so much value without Mike ab
[0:45] Speaker 1: I and Dunlap, matc Garland, nineteen Keys. There's people that
[0:55] Speaker 1: if it wasn't for those people, there would be knowing
[1:00] Speaker 1: invest Fest wouldn't happen, right, it wouldn't happen at all.
[1:04] Speaker 1: You would you would There would never be an Investmentst
[1:06] Speaker 1: if it wasn't for the people that I just named
[1:08] Speaker 1: in other people as well. But for me, investments is
[1:13] Speaker 1: a little different because everybody has their own relationship with
[1:16] Speaker 1: invest us. Invest FST is something that is my idea, right,
[1:23] Speaker 1: So it's a little different when you come up with
[1:26] Speaker 1: an idea in your head and six years later it's
[1:30] Speaker 1: thirty thousand people. That's a feeling that very few people
[1:37] Speaker 1: could probably understand. Right, So you you you carry it
[1:43] Speaker 1: a little differently. And you know, I've heard people say, like, yo,
[1:46] Speaker 1: Rishad's crazy potentially, but you but you got to be
[1:51] Speaker 1: crazy to think that what you think in your head
[1:55] Speaker 1: six years later can be a stadium with no outside funding,
[2:02] Speaker 1: with no sponsorships, with no relationships, with no connections, with
[2:05] Speaker 1: no political relationship, just the empowerment of the people and
[2:11] Speaker 1: the support of everybody that's working day in and day out.
[2:15] Speaker 1: So when investments invest Fest really a label love. That's
[2:19] Speaker 1: what people don't really fully understand. Like we promote invest
[2:22] Speaker 1: fast for one year, we already planning for next year.
[2:24] Speaker 1: Now we promoted for a year, we work on it
[2:27] Speaker 1: for a year. This is all us. Don't take outside capital.
[2:31] Speaker 1: Everything you see is us. So from a financial standpoint,
[2:37] Speaker 1: this is important for people to understand. It makes no
[2:39] Speaker 1: sense for us to do invest us. It's a loss
[2:42] Speaker 1: leader the amount of money that we make from invest Fest.
[2:46] Speaker 1: Right to be candid, because market mondays, I owe you
[2:48] Speaker 1: guys a conversation because you are actually family. Yeah, me personally,
[2:54] Speaker 1: I made more money on one Micron call than what
[2:58] Speaker 1: I made for investments ten thousand hours. By the way,
[3:02] Speaker 1: all of the mental no, but it's important for people
[3:06] Speaker 1: to understand we don't make we don't We're not making
[3:08] Speaker 1: no money on invest Fest because it's a narrative that well,
[3:13] Speaker 1: you guys are just doing it. It's a grift, it's
[3:15] Speaker 1: a money grabs it. There's a lot more easier ways
[3:18] Speaker 1: for us to make money. We know how to make money.
[3:21] Speaker 1: There's a lot more easier ways for us to make
[3:24] Speaker 1: money online or just through stock investing, stock trading, then
[3:30] Speaker 1: literally doing something for a year with little to no return.
[3:36] Speaker 1: This is just a fact, right. But you know who
[3:39] Speaker 1: does benefit from invest Fest. The one hundred speakers that's
[3:43] Speaker 1: put on stage, that's spoken, that's speak in front of
[3:45] Speaker 1: people that they've never had the opportunity to the largest
[3:47] Speaker 1: crowd that they ever had in their whole entire life.
[3:50] Speaker 1: Four hundred vendors that come to invest Fest that sell
[3:52] Speaker 1: their products with no commission, thirty food trucks that sell it,
[3:56] Speaker 1: that sell it food for the whole entire weekend of
[3:58] Speaker 1: thirty thousand people with no commisit the hospitality club owners
[4:03] Speaker 1: restaurant tours, the uber drivers, the event plan is, the security,
[4:09] Speaker 1: the hotel staff, you name it. It's obvious that as
[4:13] Speaker 1: an economic impact, it's thirty thousand people. Obviously, thirty thousand
[4:16] Speaker 1: people that come from Atlanta. If you was at Investments,
[4:18] Speaker 1: you met people from all over the world, and how
[4:21] Speaker 1: they do how they measure events is per day. So
[4:26] Speaker 1: thirty thousand people is really ninety thousand people. That's a
[4:29] Speaker 1: ninety thousand person event, right, So why am I saying this.
[4:35] Speaker 1: I'm saying this to say this, should it hit a
[4:38] Speaker 1: little differently. When you're doing all of this, you're not
[4:43] Speaker 1: really making no money. It's a laborer love. You discount tickets,
[4:47] Speaker 1: you give tickets away, you discount venda booths, you give
[4:51] Speaker 1: venda booths away, and you have to hear shit for
[4:55] Speaker 1: eight weeks about how it's a scam, about how we
[5:00] Speaker 1: promote scammers. The day before invest Fest, there's a post
[5:04] Speaker 1: that goes viral about the top ten scammers that spoke
[5:07] Speaker 1: at invest Fest. Nobody even took the nobody even took
[5:11] Speaker 1: the time to even research that Half of that list
[5:14] Speaker 1: never even stepped foot and invest Fest ever, five people
[5:18] Speaker 1: never even came to invest Fest. Ever that's on the
[5:21] Speaker 1: top ten invest FST speaker list. Two of those, two
[5:24] Speaker 1: of those people, I have no idea why they even.
[5:27] Speaker 1: Why is Pinky Cole a scammer? Because she didn't succeed
[5:30] Speaker 1: in business? She did succeed, she had one hundred million
[5:32] Speaker 1: dollar valuation. It's ups and downs. How who does she scam?
[5:37] Speaker 1: Rick Ross? So you have one person that spoke on
[5:40] Speaker 1: a podcast stage and then you have another person. I'm sorry,
[5:44] Speaker 1: what Mick Mill say? Lock them up? If he ain't perfect?
[5:47] Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We had we have four hundred speakers throughout
[5:50] Speaker 1: invest fast history, and we had two people that are
[5:53] Speaker 1: now in federal indictments. Is that my fault? Is that
[5:59] Speaker 1: choice fault? Oh you didn't properly vet? How could you
[6:01] Speaker 1: properly vet somebody that did something after the fact? But
[6:05] Speaker 1: you ain't talk about three hundred and ninety eight people
[6:07] Speaker 1: that we gave an opportunity to that we helped change
[6:09] Speaker 1: their life. But accountability is very important. So I'm gonna
[6:16] Speaker 1: get to that. But I wanted to paint the full
[6:18] Speaker 1: picture because when you when you win, in you a
[6:22] Speaker 1: winner always feel like he losing. So to me, it
[6:24] Speaker 1: don't feel like a win. People like Yo, you just
[6:26] Speaker 1: came off invest Fest. The narrative should be thirty thousand people,
[6:29] Speaker 1: and you're right, But it hit me a little different
[6:32] Speaker 1: when I know, I know the work that we all
[6:34] Speaker 1: put in to help people, to help black people, and
[6:39] Speaker 1: to see negativity left and right on my timeline and
[6:42] Speaker 1: people talking about Yo, I met this person that invest
[6:44] Speaker 1: fst and they took my website. Now we're responsible for
[6:47] Speaker 1: atten D's also, and to see people and then I'm
[6:50] Speaker 1: seeing people in the comments that I know personally that
[6:53] Speaker 1: we helped, that we that that we put on the
[6:57] Speaker 1: show Champion, like the narratives like that at invest Fest
[7:03] Speaker 1: the day before invest Fest. It bothers me on a
[7:06] Speaker 1: different level. And it's human nature. You know, you got
[7:10] Speaker 1: a hundred people that say that they love you, the
[7:12] Speaker 1: one person that comes up and says that he hates you,
[7:15] Speaker 1: it's going to have a more vitrio response than one
[7:18] Speaker 1: hundred people that tell you that they love you. But
[7:20] Speaker 1: that doesn't make it right. So the accountability is this,
[7:23] Speaker 1: No matter how much hate we get, I know that
[7:25] Speaker 1: the love is ten times more. And that's my fault
[7:28] Speaker 1: for focusing on negativity over positivity. So for this community,
[7:34] Speaker 1: because I'm not talking to social media. I'm talking to
[7:37] Speaker 1: the people that's been rocking with us from the beginning.
[7:39] Speaker 1: That's market mondays. How it came out from the clip
[7:45] Speaker 1: very insensitive, and I know that it could be hurtful
[7:48] Speaker 1: to somebody that's like, damn, I've been riding with y'all
[7:50] Speaker 1: from the beginning, and how could you say this? So
[7:53] Speaker 1: I understand how people could have taken that, And I
[7:57] Speaker 1: really do want to say that if I hurt you
[8:01] Speaker 1: in that commentary, I truly am sorry for that, because
[8:04] Speaker 1: that wasn't that's what that wasn't what it was for,
[8:06] Speaker 1: and that's not it's not who is directed to. And
[8:09] Speaker 1: like I said, that's something that I should do a
[8:11] Speaker 1: better job of focusing on the love. But it, like
[8:13] Speaker 1: I said, it's just it hit a little different when
[8:16] Speaker 1: you built it, like and it's like everybody's got commentary,
[8:19] Speaker 1: but it's like it's a little different because we didn't
[8:22] Speaker 1: raise money, so we don't we don't take money. We
[8:25] Speaker 1: make money, so everything that we put is on the line,
[8:29] Speaker 1: so it's a little different when you put your own
[8:32] Speaker 1: money on the line. We don't raise no money, we
[8:35] Speaker 1: don't have outside investors, we ain't crowd fund for no money.
[8:39] Speaker 1: I'm not knocking nobody that does that, but I'm just
[8:41] Speaker 1: saying you, you you're gonna fight a little different for
[8:44] Speaker 1: your shit when it's your child, when it's your child
[8:48] Speaker 1: on trial, You're gonna fight a little different for it
[8:50] Speaker 1: because you know that you built that from nothing impossible
[8:52] Speaker 1: for you. It could never happen again. It could never
[8:54] Speaker 1: happen again when we had two cell phones and we
[8:57] Speaker 1: and we in a basement. Eight years later, we we
[9:00] Speaker 1: got thirty thousand people, and we never took money, and
[9:04] Speaker 1: we never had no real financing behind us, and we
[9:08] Speaker 1: never had no political connect and we never had no
[9:10] Speaker 1: real sponsorship. It's a little different. So when somebody tried
[9:14] Speaker 1: to tear that down for no reason, it hits you
[9:17] Speaker 1: a little different. And and and and that's my frustration.
