[0:21] Speaker 4: taking a break last week, but we are back talking
[0:24] Speaker 4: about lovely seasonal anime aka my expertise. Hopefully I'll be
[0:29] Speaker 4: leading the conversations as we go.

[1:13] Speaker 1: amount of days, thirty six days. I will be moving
[1:16] Speaker 1: to America, so hopefully the street I'll be able to
[1:20] Speaker 1: continue the streams once I move there. It might be
[1:22] Speaker 1: a little bit of a break in transition, but I'm
[1:24] Speaker 1: eventually I'm gonna get my PC set up there and
[1:26] Speaker 1: everything going, so we should be good to continue these podcasts,
[1:28] Speaker 1: streams and some content. But let's talk about seasonal anime today.
[1:33] Speaker 1: We are going to dive in on any chart, just
[1:36] Speaker 1: going through the list, looking at what's coming out via
[1:39] Speaker 1: like sorted by popularity. At number one, the most anticipated
[1:44] Speaker 1: most popular series that will be coming out in the
[1:47] Speaker 1: summer is Mushoku Tense season three, the third season.
[1:53] Speaker 2: It is indeed season three.
[1:55] Speaker 1: Jordan, you're a you're a big fan of this.
[1:57] Speaker 3: We'll talk about Yeah, I love Mishow. It's my favorite
[2:00] Speaker 3: light novel series. The first two seasons were good, especially
[2:03] Speaker 3: season one. It's done by Studio Binds, so they've i
[2:06] Speaker 3: think they've committed to trying to adapt the entirety of it,
[2:08] Speaker 3: and they've been pretty faithful thus far with a good
[2:11] Speaker 3: show not tell approach. But I'm excited to a lot
[2:15] Speaker 3: of big moments that are gonna be in season three.
[2:16] Speaker 3: So I'm excited, But I didn't expect it to be
[2:18] Speaker 3: number one on this list. If I'm not gonna lie, like, well.
[2:21] Speaker 1: There's really nothing else coming out, so we could probably
[2:24] Speaker 1: end it there. It's so funny talking to Ricon off
[2:31] Speaker 1: the podcast and he's kind of like, oh, these seasons
[2:33] Speaker 1: are all trash nowadays. I'm like brothers, they've been trash.
[2:36] Speaker 1: They've been trashed for the last decade. The way the
[2:39] Speaker 1: seasonal anime works, the way seasonal anime works, you find
[2:42] Speaker 1: there's like two or three good anime, then there's like
[2:45] Speaker 1: another two or three that might appeal to your specific tastes,
[2:47] Speaker 1: so maybe six anime you can probably watch, and the
[2:50] Speaker 1: rest are just bad, you know, and they appeal to
[2:52] Speaker 1: different people because people like different things, and that's all right,
[2:55] Speaker 1: but Ricon watches everything.
[2:57] Speaker 3: He watches everything, Yeah, no matter how bad far enough
[3:01] Speaker 3: down the list. There's always a few unexpected gyms. Yeah,
[3:04] Speaker 3: for sure, there's suddenly delving into photography or something something's
[3:07] Speaker 3: very specific that they go deep, right, and then you're like,
[3:09] Speaker 3: this is interesting. I didn't expect it.
[3:11] Speaker 1: And if you're pretty open minded, I'm sure you could
[3:13] Speaker 1: find nine or ten shows that you could watch the season,
[3:15] Speaker 1: But anything more than ten, I feel like you're just
[3:18] Speaker 1: you're just okay with watching trash.
[3:21] Speaker 3: There use a lot of trash every season. You're not wrong.
[3:24] Speaker 1: But I'm super excited for this sequel. I loved season one.
[3:28] Speaker 1: Season two was weird at times. Season one was weird
[3:31] Speaker 1: at time. You know what the entire animis. But for
[3:35] Speaker 1: the most part, I think it's a really really well
[3:37] Speaker 1: rounded show and have a lot going for it. So
[3:39] Speaker 1: I'm excited for some more mushoutense and I'm excited to
[3:42] Speaker 1: see where it goes from here.
[3:44] Speaker 3: Let's go, did we get to.
[3:46] Speaker 1: See them, you know, the character with red hair in
[3:48] Speaker 1: season one? Did we get to see her and two
[3:54] Speaker 1: at all? Or did that just not happen?

[6:01] Speaker 3: I think there's still a movie I haven't seen in
[6:03] Speaker 3: between the first and second season, so I need to do.
[6:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to watch the movie.
[6:06] Speaker 3: Not my favorite guy, but it's definitely an above average one.
[6:09] Speaker 3: That's uh, it's pretty unique in its own right. I
[6:11] Speaker 3: can't think of a good comparison for it, so, uh,

[6:15] Speaker 4: Also, there's also a little ova that involves like pasta
[6:20] Speaker 4: making or whatever. But it's it's not really canon to
[6:24] Speaker 4: the story.

[6:27] Speaker 1: I'm not watching season one or the movie, but I'm
[6:29] Speaker 1: gonna watch that OVA and review how they make Coasta Okay,
[6:34] Speaker 1: how does so much? Brigo is probably busy teaching us
[6:38] Speaker 1: economics while watching it. So that's the funny thing sometimes
[6:41] Speaker 1: about streaming. Sometimes like I'll really be really into an
[6:44] Speaker 1: anime and really focus on the reactions to the actual anime,
[6:46] Speaker 1: but there's times where I'm just fucking making fun of
[6:48] Speaker 1: the anime with Chat, or me and Chat are just
[6:50] Speaker 1: having conversations about like sports or or business or stuff
[6:53] Speaker 1: like that, and then we're like, oh, the episode is done.

[6:59] Speaker 1: So yeah, so.

[7:22] Speaker 3: such a thought provoking anime driving off this conversation. It
[7:26] Speaker 3: really is the number fifty anime of all time.
[7:28] Speaker 1: Them titties got me thinking it's not provoking, dude, it
[7:33] Speaker 1: was actually crazy. I think I watched two episodes of
[7:35] Speaker 1: anime that stream and I stream for two hours, Oh
[7:40] Speaker 1: my goodness, or two or three episodes anyway. The anime
[7:44] Speaker 1: I'm most excited for this season Smoking behind the Supermarket
[7:48] Speaker 1: with You. It's a romance comedy by ASA Heat Production,
[7:53] Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be honest. I know I'm not a
[7:55] Speaker 1: big rom com slice of life guy, but having a
[7:57] Speaker 1: forty five year old office worker, Sasake is the main
[8:00] Speaker 1: character that like has these little like these small moments
[8:04] Speaker 1: in life that you look forward to talking to someone
[8:06] Speaker 1: at a convenience store or going for a smoke behind
[8:08] Speaker 1: the Median store and talking to some some hawk girl.
[8:10] Speaker 1: There's this something about it. I've heard good things. I
[8:14] Speaker 1: am very excited for this anime.
[8:17] Speaker 3: Let's go. I see why is number three on the
[8:20] Speaker 3: popularity because I actually have seen the trailer for this one.
[8:22] Speaker 3: I've heard nothing about this season except for this anime,
[8:25] Speaker 3: and it does look like it's gonna be pretty good.
[8:26] Speaker 3: I'm excited for it.
[8:29] Speaker 4: I've seen a you know, I've seen a couple of
[8:32] Speaker 4: age gap romances.

[8:54] Speaker 4: A at a restaurant and there's this older guy and

[8:58] Speaker 3: I forgot what after the Rain or that one? I
[9:02] Speaker 3: think it forgot what his name? Yeah, it's like the same.
[9:07] Speaker 4: Yes, yes, after the Rain that I've also see that
[9:09] Speaker 4: that's also an age cap. I'm kind of expecting really

[10:37] Speaker 1: This thousand Year Blood War arc has been absolutely fantastic.
