Ciara O'Malley and her boyfriend David Gavin had the world at their feet when they moved to Canada in 2017. Having moved from Mayo, they settled into a new life in Vancouver, with David joining a local GAA team. One day, when playing an away match, they stopped off at a lake. After jumping into the water, David resurfaced only to be pulled back into the water. Today, Ciara speaks about the unimaginable journey they went on to find David, and how age just 26, he lost his life and left his community and beyond devastated.
