## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, it's Kane Brown. 65,000 people in a stadium.
[0:04] Speaker 1: What's that feeling like on stage?
[0:06] Speaker 2: Like I said, I'm the little gods up there. I'm like,
[0:08] Speaker 2: I hope they like me.
[0:09] Speaker 3: They're all clapping and singing your songs. He's the one
[0:11] Speaker 3: that's got to ask that. He does a backflip and
[0:13] Speaker 3: they all give him the finger and tell.
[0:14] Speaker 4: Him he sucks.
[0:15] Speaker 2: When I first came in, everybody thought I was a rapper.
[0:17] Speaker 4: Can you rap?
[0:18] Speaker 2: Can I play like three seconds or something?
[0:24] Speaker 4: You can country rap.
[0:25] Speaker 2: We did a show in Ohio State last night. It
[0:27] Speaker 2: was me, Jelly Roll, Megan Maroney.
[0:29] Speaker 4: I love Jelly. I think he's a bit overrated. Uh-oh.
[0:32] Speaker 2: I have a sister-in-law who basically works for NASA. And
[0:35] Speaker 2: so I argue with her all the time about the
[0:37] Speaker 2: moon landing.
[0:38] Speaker 4: You don't think we landed?
[0:39] Speaker 2: Oh God, here we go.
[0:40] Speaker 3: The biggest threat to AI and SI is us. So
[0:43] Speaker 3: we would be the first thing that they would eliminate.
[0:45] Speaker 2: If AI is listening, man, I've invested so much money
[0:47] Speaker 2: into you guys. I never met my black side of
[0:50] Speaker 2: the family at all. My little brother, he was white.
[0:52] Speaker 3: Have you ever dealt with racism in the industry?
[0:55] Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
[0:55] Speaker 2: One writer, he said he wouldn't write with me because
[0:57] Speaker 2: I was black. And there was another big writer that
[0:59] Speaker 2: has like over 30 number ones that said the same thing.
[1:01] Speaker 4: Yo, that's crazy. Yeah.
[1:11] Speaker 2: I've been in here all day.
[1:12] Speaker 4: Put some miles on it.
[1:15] Speaker 5: Back of the Chevy with the engine running.
[1:19] Speaker 4: Just you and me. You do it better. You do
[1:22] Speaker 4: it better. You're killing it, bro.
[1:23] Speaker 2: You're killing it.
[1:23] Speaker 4: Dude, I love that song.
[1:26] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[1:27] Speaker 4: I love a lot of your songs.
[1:29] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[1:29] Speaker 1: They start my workouts.
[1:33] Speaker 4: Say thank you again.
[1:34] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[1:36] Speaker 4: Dude, salt of the earth, country guy. Ladies and gentlemen,
[1:39] Speaker 4: it's Kane Brown. Yep. Wow. How are you, man?
[1:45] Speaker 2: I'm good, brother. I'm exhausted.
[1:47] Speaker 4: Yeah. We can relate. Yeah. You've been here all weekend.
[1:50] Speaker 2: No, I just flew in at three this morning. We
[1:52] Speaker 2: did a show in Ohio State last night. We played
[1:55] Speaker 2: the Buckeye Stadium.
[1:55] Speaker 4: Oh, my.
[1:56] Speaker 5: Oh, my.
[1:57] Speaker 4: Oh, my God. That's your hood. First off, Ohio guy
[2:01] Speaker 4: right here.
[2:01] Speaker 2: Ohio State Buckeyes.
[2:02] Speaker 4: Come on. Come on, pig. You say a stadium just now? Yeah.
[2:06] Speaker 2: It was me, Jelly Roll, Megan Maroney.
[2:09] Speaker 4: Jelly. Jelly Roll.
[2:10] Speaker 1: Our boy, Jelly.
[2:11] Speaker 4: Jelly Roll. It's a good friend. Well, I loved, I
[2:14] Speaker 4: love Jelly. I think he's a bit overrated.
[2:16] Speaker 3: Oh.
[2:19] Speaker 4: Anyways, wait, did you say stadium? Yeah. How many people?
[2:23] Speaker 2: Oh, 65,000. Bro, wait, and.
[2:27] Speaker 4: Then you flew here?
[2:28] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[2:29] Speaker 4: What are you doing here today?
[2:30] Speaker 2: I got to meet some fans, got to do all
[2:32] Speaker 2: the activities. Did you do them?
[2:34] Speaker 4: I did.
[2:34] Speaker 2: They said you didn't make one shot in basketball.
[2:36] Speaker 4: Bro, they went out of their way to tell you that?
[2:38] Speaker 2: They did. That was the first thing they said.
[2:40] Speaker 4: Zero.
[2:41] Speaker 3: Zero.
[2:41] Speaker 4: Zero.
[2:42] Speaker 3: Kane, the number of times he has told me, I've
[2:45] Speaker 3: known him 10 years, I'm going to win this one.
[2:47] Speaker 3: I'm the fastest man in the world. Nobody could beat
[2:50] Speaker 3: me in the boxing ring. I'm going to do this.
[2:52] Speaker 3: He told me today, he said, I'm going to win
[2:54] Speaker 3: $ 1 million today.
[2:55] Speaker 4: No, I didn't. I said I was getting the Ferrari
[2:57] Speaker 4: for my wife.
[2:58] Speaker 3: I said, bro, set expectations more realistically.
[3:02] Speaker 4: Zero points. Zero.
[3:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, honestly, coming in, I thought the same thing.
[3:08] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[3:08] Speaker 2: Yeah. I was going to win. I was like something
[3:10] Speaker 2: third place at least.
[3:11] Speaker 3: Do you think that alpha mentality and that, that manifestation
[3:16] Speaker 3: as a man is what makes you and you so
[3:18] Speaker 3: successful at what you do?
[3:20] Speaker 2: I think it drives us, especially him. I will say,
[3:24] Speaker 2: I look up to Logan a lot. Um, Just because
[3:27] Speaker 2: you just own your stuff, man.
[3:29] Speaker 4: I appreciate that.
[3:30] Speaker 2: And I'm watching the documentary right now, by the way,
[3:32] Speaker 2: me and the wife.
[3:33] Speaker 4: Oh, let's go.
[3:34] Speaker 2: She finished hers. So I was like, okay, we're going
[3:36] Speaker 2: to watch this one now.
[3:37] Speaker 4: Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
[3:38] Speaker 1: I appreciate the support, bro. You guys have always been
[3:40] Speaker 1: so good to me. I think the last time we
[3:42] Speaker 1: were hanging out, we were bowling.
[3:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Years ago. Yeah.
[3:46] Speaker 2: I did terrible there.
[3:47] Speaker 4: Yeah, bro.
[3:48] Speaker 1: I like, look, I feel like we're guys who are
[3:51] Speaker 1: good at what we're good at.
[3:51] Speaker 5: And then everything else, we're just not that good at it.
[3:54] Speaker 5: Unless you're Tom Brady and you're absolutely perfect.
[3:56] Speaker 2: Killing it, man.
[3:57] Speaker 4: Who, by the way, is first place. Of course, he's
[4:00] Speaker 4: going to fucking... Tom Brady is going to win the
[4:02] Speaker 4: million dollars. Does anyone else find that like.
[4:04] Speaker 3: He's going to give it away to charity.
[4:07] Speaker 4: Is he? 100%.
[4:08] Speaker 3: Tom Brady ain't keeping that money, bro.
[4:10] Speaker 4: What if he does? What if he does? And he
[4:12] Speaker 4: buys two Ferraris. Nah, nah, nah, nah.
[4:15] Speaker 3: He's going to buy a Richard Mill watch for someone
[4:19] Speaker 3: in need.
[4:20] Speaker 4: Who in need needs a Richard Mill watch?
[4:23] Speaker 3: Or like an Audemars for someone who really needs it, dude.
[4:27] Speaker 4: Somebody down on their luck.
[4:28] Speaker 3: One thing you're good at that most people might not know,
[4:31] Speaker 3: maybe it should have been later in the episode, but
[4:33] Speaker 3: I see it in his Call of Duty, bro. You
[4:35] Speaker 3: have carried... my terrible, terrible gameplay through some games, bro.
[4:41] Speaker 3: You are nasty at Call of Duty.
[4:43] Speaker 4: Like nasty, bro.
[4:44] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[4:45] Speaker 4: You that good? I'm not.
[4:47] Speaker 3: No, bro, he's great. He's great, dude. What's your record
[4:52] Speaker 3: like kills in a game? Of like rebirth or something
[4:55] Speaker 3: like that.
[4:56] Speaker 2: Like Warzone's like 46.
[4:58] Speaker 4: Help me understand. Insane. Yeah.
[5:00] Speaker 3: Top percentile.
[5:01] Speaker 4: 46 in the game.
[5:01] Speaker 2: And percentile, it's top percentile. KD-wise, top 0.1%.
[5:06] Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
[5:06] Speaker 2: Oh, snap.
[5:07] Speaker 4: Yeah. All right, so you go to Call of Duty.
[5:11] Speaker 4: You go to singing. Were you good at basketball?
[5:15] Speaker 2: I was okay.
[5:16] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[5:16] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:17] Speaker 4: How did you feel you did overall? So this is
[5:19] Speaker 4: what happened.
[5:19] Speaker 2: So I don't have the clutch gene. I think that's
[5:22] Speaker 2: why Tom Brady's in first place. Because in basketball, I
[5:28] Speaker 2: could have got the highest score. And then the dude
[5:30] Speaker 2: came over with a microphone, and he said, he's going
[5:31] Speaker 2: to get the highest score. And when he said that,
[5:33] Speaker 2: my body just froze up. And then my last three
[5:37] Speaker 2: or four shots, they hit the rim, came off the backboard.
[5:40] Speaker 1: All right, I didn't make one, dude, but they were
[5:43] Speaker 1: all shots like that.
[5:45] Speaker 4: Like, dude, I'm talking about 1% to 2% off.
[5:48] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:49] Speaker 4: It's kind of just my luck. It's one of those sports.
[5:51] Speaker 2: How'd you do on the punching thing?
[5:52] Speaker 4: I got second.
[5:54] Speaker 2: What'd you get?
[5:55] Speaker 1: Eight.
[5:55] Speaker 3: 50.
[5:56] Speaker 2: You already got above me.
[5:58] Speaker 4: Yeah. Bro, I can punch. I knew I was going
[5:59] Speaker 4: to do well at the WWE entrance. I've never hit
[6:01] Speaker 4: that bag, though.
[6:02] Speaker 2: Oh, you've never hit it?
[6:03] Speaker 4: Yeah. I broke my knuckle on that bag in Germany once.
[6:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember seeing that, and then she reminded me,
[6:08] Speaker 2: and she said, don't break your hand like Logan did.
[6:09] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. That was crazy, bro. That was nuts. I
[6:11] Speaker 4: got like 750-something, though. Oh, that's good.
[6:13] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[6:13] Speaker 1: Bro, you're selling out stadiums. You're a global phenomena. You
[6:18] Speaker 1: don't got to be worrying about.
[6:20] Speaker 4: Punching, dude. like it's my job bro it's i should
[6:23] Speaker 4: be good i should be.
[6:24] Speaker 1: Good at it you know yeah all right so dude
[6:27] Speaker 1: yeah uh you are this this global superstar also such
[6:30] Speaker 1: a down-to-earth guy um what you've done to country music
[6:36] Speaker 1: is is incredible man and the way you have like
[6:38] Speaker 1: bridged the gap between a few different genres um yeah yeah.
[6:42] Speaker 4: It's awesome has it been an insane journey for.
[6:44] Speaker 2: You man honestly it's been um it's been a while
[6:47] Speaker 2: because i never in a million years thought that i'd
[6:49] Speaker 2: be here um first off on the podcast and second, just,
[6:53] Speaker 2: you know, in general. So it's just, I don't know.
[6:57] Speaker 2: It's just been a crazy ride. And, and you know,
[6:59] Speaker 2: any kids watching, I mean, you came, you know, came
[7:03] Speaker 2: up through it grinding. You came up through a grinding
[7:06] Speaker 2: and I came from, I used to live in a
[7:07] Speaker 2: car with my mom, man, and working three jobs and
[7:11] Speaker 2: we're here. So anything's possible. And it's been amazing. Country music's,
[7:15] Speaker 2: you know, done everything for me.
[7:17] Speaker 1: It's interesting though, because you have this like really, inherent
[7:22] Speaker 1: talent you can sing. When did you realize, oh man,
[7:26] Speaker 1: I have a, I have a bit of a voice or,
[7:28] Speaker 1: or like you, you're melodically gifted or whatever you want
[7:31] Speaker 1: to call it.
[7:32] Speaker 2: So I got in, I, I, I call myself like the,
[7:35] Speaker 2: the before Tik TOK. Or what would I say? Like
[7:38] Speaker 2: the main... That would be the pre-TikTok. The pre-TikTok, yeah.
[7:42] Speaker 4: Before TikTok. B-T, B-T-T. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Before TikTok.
[7:47] Speaker 2: So I was working three jobs and then kind of,
[7:49] Speaker 2: I was trying to find out how to go viral
[7:50] Speaker 2: on social media. So I was using Facebook and just
[7:52] Speaker 2: singing all the covers and my videos started going super
[7:55] Speaker 2: viral and that's kind of how I found out I
[7:57] Speaker 2: guess I could do this for a career. And then
[7:59] Speaker 2: my record labels came in, but it's just been a
[8:02] Speaker 2: fun ride.
[8:03] Speaker 4: But singing is like... Interesting because you have to put
[8:06] Speaker 4: yourself out there.
[8:07] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[8:08] Speaker 4: And if you're like a, what, you said 15-year-old? Or
[8:11] Speaker 4: did I just make that up completely?
[8:13] Speaker 2: You just made that up. No, I was– How old
[8:15] Speaker 2: were you? I think I started like 18 or 19.
[8:17] Speaker 2: Not that far off.
[8:18] Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll give it a take in three years. So
[8:20] Speaker 4: you were in the 2% basket again, dude. You just
[8:21] Speaker 4: keep doing it. You're getting close, dude. So, you know,
[8:24] Speaker 4: as an 18-year-old, who– like had you been singing up
[8:28] Speaker 4: of that? Like how do you have.
[8:30] Speaker 1: The courage to put yourself out there like that? As
[8:32] Speaker 1: someone who's never done it.
[8:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Facebook was, you know, I just, the more
[8:37] Speaker 2: likes and also going to your show, I didn't care
[8:41] Speaker 2: what anybody said. I wanted everybody, you know, commenting, liking,
[8:45] Speaker 2: or just seeing it. So I would just be like,
[8:47] Speaker 2: I wouldn't even tell them to like the video. I
[8:49] Speaker 2: would say share it. And so on Facebook, when I
[8:51] Speaker 2: found out that you can, that was the key. If
[8:54] Speaker 2: you go look at my top video, like you'll see
[8:56] Speaker 2: people with 600, 700,000 likes. I had 700, 800,000 shares.
[9:01] Speaker 2: So then I was on 800,000 people's Facebooks. And then
[9:05] Speaker 2: that's just, it just took off from there. So I
[9:06] Speaker 2: was competing with artists without a record deal on streaming
[9:10] Speaker 2: and sales. And I would not meet in radio or anybody.
[9:14] Speaker 2: They'd be like, whoa, you're real. I would show up
[9:16] Speaker 2: and then the shows would sell out super fast. My
[9:19] Speaker 2: first show sold out in 30 minutes and the second
[9:20] Speaker 2: one showed out in eight minutes. And then it was
[9:23] Speaker 2: just a wild ride. And then now I think the
[9:25] Speaker 2: hardest part is trying to, Maintain it.
[9:29] Speaker 4: Come on now. That's the game.
[9:30] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[9:30] Speaker 2: Well, I turn, you know, I have three kids now and,
[9:33] Speaker 2: you know, everybody's younger. And I just realized the other
[9:36] Speaker 2: day that I'm still like one of the youngest guys
[9:38] Speaker 2: in country music.
[9:38] Speaker 4: Really?
[9:39] Speaker 2: How old are you?
[9:40] Speaker 4: 31. Yeah, we're same age.
[9:41] Speaker 2: I'm 30.
[9:42] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[9:42] Speaker 2: So then just working out, it kind of brought back
[9:45] Speaker 2: my young mentality. So I'm trying to like rebrand myself basically.
[9:50] Speaker 4: In what way?
[9:51] Speaker 2: Just fun summer. Like I just released a song called
[9:53] Speaker 2: two pairs. It's almost kind of like Miles on it.
[9:56] Speaker 4: Cool.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Just a younger vibe.
[9:57] Speaker 4: Cool.
[9:57] Speaker 2: You know, just being on stage, running around.
[9:59] Speaker 4: Cool.
[10:00] Speaker 2: Looking fit.
[10:01] Speaker 4: Yeah. You've been on the grind.
[10:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, dude.
[10:05] Speaker 4: Like I know you had that little body transformation. Like
[10:07] Speaker 4: you're locked in right now.
[10:08] Speaker 2: Locked.
[10:09] Speaker 1: I asked you if you wanted canes before this.
[10:11] Speaker 4: Said no, can't do it.
[10:12] Speaker 2: You want to do it.
[10:13] Speaker 3: Nothing can persuade you. Not even raising canes. Named after you.
[10:16] Speaker 2: Love raising canes. If it had a K, maybe.
[10:20] Speaker 4: Yeah. But you can't eat it, so you're not eating anything.
[10:23] Speaker 2: No fast food, no sugar.
[10:25] Speaker 4: What's your diet consistent right now?
[10:27] Speaker 2: Chicken, turkey, rice, potatoes on refeed days, and asparagus.
[10:32] Speaker 4: What was the last one? It was on refeed days.
[10:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, refeed days. So I have two refeed days.
[10:37] Speaker 4: Oh, on refeed days. Got it, got it. And what
[10:39] Speaker 4: about on the workout side?
[10:41] Speaker 2: I mean, I work out every day. I run a
[10:43] Speaker 2: mile every day. I just work out.
[10:48] Speaker 4: And why are you doing it?
[10:50] Speaker 2: I want to look like a plastic toy soldier.
[10:52] Speaker 5: Really? Yeah.
[10:53] Speaker 4: Like him? Yeah.
[10:56] Speaker 2: But he's bigger. I'm like lean.
[10:59] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
[11:00] Speaker 2: I mean, you're lean too. I don't know what that meant. No, no, no, no, no.
[11:04] Speaker 4: I'm not as lean as you. You're, you're, you're definitely lean, but.
[11:07] Speaker 2: I just, I just want to be like, you just
[11:08] Speaker 2: see every muscle in my body. Like, like the science,
[11:11] Speaker 2: the science thing.
[11:12] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:12] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[11:12] Speaker 2: In the room.
[11:13] Speaker 4: Hey, Mad noble. That's awesome.
[11:15] Speaker 1: And I'm sure like we're, we can both respect and
[11:18] Speaker 1: appreciate that, but I think, but yeah, he doesn't give
[11:20] Speaker 1: a fuck.
[11:20] Speaker 4: I want the kids, dude. I want the risen kings.
[11:22] Speaker 4: Like when that comes in, there you go.
[11:25] Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
[11:25] Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
[11:26] Speaker 4: This is my favorite food right here. Oh, that's for Logan, right?
[11:29] Speaker 4: Do you have another? We can share it. This is
[11:31] Speaker 4: what they gave us.
[11:32] Speaker 3: Hey, Todd Graves, man, you couldn't spare more than four tenders.
[11:36] Speaker 3: This is what we got. We just spent a whole weekend.
[11:39] Speaker 4: We said it was Logan who had to get in
[11:41] Speaker 4: the truck.
[11:42] Speaker 3: I do, but I'm going back to an inside joke there.

[12:46] Speaker 4: So yeah, you're working out because it sounds like you're
[12:48] Speaker 4: really doing it for yourself on a personal.
[12:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was a huge mental thing too, man.
[12:53] Speaker 2: I was in kind of a rough spot. Mentally. But
[12:56] Speaker 2: I don't want to bring anybody down. Because like I said,
[12:58] Speaker 2: I'm trying to rebrand myself.
[12:59] Speaker 4: Wait, wait, wait. Were you going to bring someone down?
[13:02] Speaker 4: Was it someone's fault that you were in that spot?
[13:05] Speaker 2: No, I mean, it was just, I think it's just
[13:07] Speaker 2: the business that we're in. You know, everybody's constantly competing
[13:11] Speaker 2: with each other.
[13:12] Speaker 4: Is it Morgan Wallen's fault?
[13:14] Speaker 2: No, Morgan's my boy. He actually just hit me up
[13:16] Speaker 2: about training.
[13:18] Speaker 4: Really? Yeah. He's training too?
[13:20] Speaker 2: He's trying to get fit.
[13:20] Speaker 4: Man, all you country boys, bro.
[13:22] Speaker 1: Yeah. You guys really got it going on. You chose
[13:25] Speaker 1: the right genre as well. I feel like it's at
[13:28] Speaker 1: least controversial. Everyone's just having a good time.
[13:31] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[13:32] Speaker 2: I mean, everybody's just kind of polite about it. They
[13:34] Speaker 2: might not like you, but they don't say nothing.
[13:35] Speaker 3: There's some drama, though. I saw some drama recently with a... Man,
[13:40] Speaker 3: who was it? Like somebody that writes songs, like one
[13:44] Speaker 3: of the songwriters, and then a big performer. They had
[13:46] Speaker 3: like a drama. I think it was Zach Bryan. He
[13:50] Speaker 3: got in a drama with one of the songwriters.
[13:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know Zach at all.
[13:54] Speaker 4: Oh, it's big.
[13:54] Speaker 2: All right.
[13:55] Speaker 3: Well, I think when you said you don't want to
[13:56] Speaker 3: bring anybody down, you meant like, you don't want to
[13:58] Speaker 3: kill the vibe.
[13:59] Speaker 4: Is that what you meant? Okay.
[14:00] Speaker 3: So I want you to continue to kill the vibe.
[14:03] Speaker 4: I'm serious.
[14:04] Speaker 3: It's very important that you talk about mental health, bro.
[14:07] Speaker 3: Very important, bro. The more, the more men that talk
[14:09] Speaker 3: about that, you know, it's very, it's a very, very
[14:13] Speaker 3: important topic, man. And, um, why did you, why did
[14:17] Speaker 3: you find yourself in this, in this last, you know,
[14:19] Speaker 3: kind of downtrend mentally?
[14:22] Speaker 4: I don't know.
[14:22] Speaker 2: I think, you know, just, um, so being so competitive,
[14:28] Speaker 2: you know, I, like I said, when I got started
[14:30] Speaker 2: on Facebook, I didn't, uh, I just wanted all the numbers,
[14:35] Speaker 2: you know, as many as possible. And then once you
[14:38] Speaker 2: get to a certain point of you being Kane Brown
[14:42] Speaker 2: or you being whoever, and then you start seeing negative stuff,
[14:44] Speaker 2: that's like, I just got on social media for a
[14:46] Speaker 2: while during the COVID days. Cause that's when social media
[14:47] Speaker 2: started getting crazy. Um, So, I mean, everybody came out
[14:51] Speaker 2: of the woodworks. So I just left it. And then
[14:54] Speaker 2: when I tried to come back to it, it just
[14:55] Speaker 2: like wasn't there no more. Or like, you know, everything's changed,
[14:58] Speaker 2: like algorithms. So now you got to be like, don't
[15:01] Speaker 2: talk in your post or it's only going to, you know,
[15:04] Speaker 2: go to people that talk English and all this. So
[15:07] Speaker 2: now I'm trying to rebrand and re-find out how social
[15:10] Speaker 2: media works again. So it kind of just brought me down. So, yeah.
[15:14] Speaker 3: It's crazy because you really only have two choices.
[15:17] Speaker 4: You've got.
[15:18] Speaker 3: Taking breaks like you did, or you've got burnout. And
[15:23] Speaker 3: the internet is not polite to inconsistency. The algorithms mandate
[15:29] Speaker 3: that you continuously produce and continuously perform. And it's very competitive.
[15:34] Speaker 3: It's funny because in a way, his mental health decline
[15:39] Speaker 3: technically is Morgan Wallen's fault. You were right about it
[15:42] Speaker 3: when you said that. Because he's a competitor in the
[15:44] Speaker 3: field with you. And he's performant.
[15:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I mean, but Morgan.
[15:49] Speaker 4: So you were right when you said that. Well, no, no, no, no, no.
[15:52] Speaker 4: You were spot on, dude.
[15:53] Speaker 2: You're not, though, because Morgan, if you compare Morgan to anybody, Morgan,
[15:57] Speaker 2: I mean, name an artist.
[15:58] Speaker 4: He is on fire.
[15:59] Speaker 2: Exactly. Morgan's at the top.
[16:01] Speaker 4: He brought Drake out, what, yesterday?
[16:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, last night.
[16:03] Speaker 4: In Houston.
[16:04] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:04] Speaker 4: Walkout.
[16:05] Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Morgan, I promise you, Morgan's my guy.
[16:07] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[16:08] Speaker 2: We just punked him, but yeah, I'm not releasing it.
[16:10] Speaker 4: Punk, punk, like the show punked? Yeah. Actually? Yeah. Okay,
[16:14] Speaker 4: who's hosting the show?
[16:15] Speaker 2: Well, it was going to be me, but the episodes
[16:19] Speaker 2: just haven't came out.
[16:20] Speaker 4: Whoa.
[16:21] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think we're going to release it. But
[16:22] Speaker 2: it was sick, though. I had a gorilla in my, yeah,
[16:25] Speaker 2: it was a dude in a suit. And I have
[16:27] Speaker 2: a big dog yard. It looks like it holds dinosaurs.
[16:30] Speaker 2: And the gorilla was in there, and he came down.
[16:32] Speaker 2: I told him we were going to shoot a movie.
[16:34] Speaker 2: And so we were walking down. We were going in
[16:35] Speaker 2: the house. He saw a gorilla. And I told him
[16:37] Speaker 2: a whole story about how my dad dropped out of
[16:39] Speaker 2: high school, which he really did, and joined the circus.
[16:41] Speaker 2: And this gorilla was about to go to the Atlanta Zoo.
[16:44] Speaker 2: This is wild. But I got to keep him until
[16:46] Speaker 2: he went to the Atlanta zoo. So Morgan was throwing
[16:49] Speaker 2: bananas over the fence. And then we went in and talked.
[16:52] Speaker 2: And then when we came back out, the gate was
[16:54] Speaker 2: open and the gorilla wasn't there no more. And so
[16:57] Speaker 2: he ended up, the gorilla basically locked me in there
[17:00] Speaker 2: with him. And then Morgan was hiding in the car
[17:03] Speaker 2: with bananas.
[17:04] Speaker 4: This is hilarious.
[17:05] Speaker 2: We threw him over. This is hilarious.
[17:06] Speaker 4: That is an intricate break.
[17:07] Speaker 2: It was sick. And we got Dustin Lynch too. Dustin
[17:10] Speaker 2: was hilarious. We did it at night. So it was
[17:12] Speaker 2: a little more realistic with Dustin. Fantastic.
[17:14] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[17:15] Speaker 4: Man, I feel like you got a great life, dude.
[17:17] Speaker 2: It's been great.
[17:18] Speaker 3: Lots changed since Red Bank, Tennessee.
[17:22] Speaker 4: Yeah. You ever go back to Red Bank?
[17:24] Speaker 1: No.
[17:24] Speaker 4: No? Why not?
[17:27] Speaker 2: Well, Red Bank was a small part of my life.
[17:28] Speaker 2: Love Red Bank. Shout out Red Bank. But Fort Oglethorpe,
[17:32] Speaker 2: I moved schools so many times growing up that Red
[17:35] Speaker 2: Bank was a short, quick journey. I just say Chattanooga.
[17:40] Speaker 2: Chattanooga is basically considered Red Bank.
[17:42] Speaker 4: You were changing schools because.
[17:45] Speaker 2: Not money to, we couldn't stay in a house that is,
[17:47] Speaker 2: you know, for a certain period of time, or we
[17:49] Speaker 2: were moving somewhere else for less rent and, you know,
[17:52] Speaker 2: it's going all over the place.
[17:53] Speaker 3: So where did you go after, where did you spend
[17:56] Speaker 3: the most of your time as a child?
[17:59] Speaker 2: Um, probably Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, just cause I grew up there.
[18:03] Speaker 2: But Rossville, Georgia too. I mean, I went to six
[18:06] Speaker 2: different elementary schools, two different middle schools and five different
[18:09] Speaker 2: high schools.
[18:09] Speaker 4: How did you make, how did you make any friends?
[18:11] Speaker 2: Athlete. So I was just basketball team, football team, baseball team. Oh, okay.
[18:15] Speaker 2: That's not bad.
[18:16] Speaker 4: But they weren't even like friendships.
[18:17] Speaker 3: They were like situationships because then you would just vanish
[18:20] Speaker 3: and just go to another town.
[18:22] Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
[18:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, but everything's so close. So I'd end up competing
[18:24] Speaker 2: against them. I'm going to beat y'all's ass.
[18:26] Speaker 3: Oh, damn. So they went from friends to ops.
[18:29] Speaker 2: No, they were cool. I mean, we were cool out there.
[18:31] Speaker 2: I would just go drop 25 on them.
[18:34] Speaker 3: What did that like not knowing– where you were going
[18:38] Speaker 3: to be six months from a point? Like, what did
[18:40] Speaker 3: that do to your mentality as a kid living like that,
[18:43] Speaker 3: not knowing if you were going to have the, your
[18:45] Speaker 3: needs met?
[18:45] Speaker 2: Um, I mean, honestly, it's my life now. It's perfect.
[18:49] Speaker 2: Everybody just tells me where to go and what to do.
[18:53] Speaker 4: So you didn't really, it didn't really bother you that much.
[18:56] Speaker 2: No, you know, as long as I have my, my
[18:57] Speaker 2: mom was with me and, uh, my Nana, that's all
[19:00] Speaker 2: the matter.
[19:01] Speaker 4: Do you maintain any of those friendships, uh, now in adulthood?
[19:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, my boy right here, Kenny. We went to high
[19:06] Speaker 2: school together. Oh, no way. Oh, fantastic. What's up, Kenny?
[19:09] Speaker 2: Hell yeah.
[19:10] Speaker 4: What up, man?
[19:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, I've still got so many friends. My wife's like,
[19:13] Speaker 2: you have way too many friends.
[19:15] Speaker 1: Oh, really?
[19:15] Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I moved. I just keep them close.
[19:18] Speaker 4: Oh, that's great.
[19:18] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[19:20] Speaker 4: I lost pretty much all of them except one. Actually,
[19:23] Speaker 4: not lost. It's just like the friendship didn't really blossom
[19:28] Speaker 4: beyond high school. Yeah.
[19:29] Speaker 2: Well, you got to be careful for the snakes and stuff.
[19:33] Speaker 4: And there are many, man. Many snakes on the grass.
[19:35] Speaker 4: Have you dealt with a lot of snakes? I've dealt
[19:39] Speaker 4: with a lot of snakes. Really?
[19:40] Speaker 2: I've dealt with a lot of snakes.
[19:44] Speaker 4: Anyways. Look, man. I'm interested to see what you say next.
[19:50] Speaker 4: could be anything it could be argued that when it
[19:56] Speaker 4: comes to country music.
[20:00] Speaker 1: You are him no it could be argued it could
[20:06] Speaker 1: be argued what say you To those who say you
[20:11] Speaker 1: are him.
[20:11] Speaker 2: Say it again. What is that?
[20:17] Speaker 4: See, I told you, man. You got to watch this.
[20:19] Speaker 4: He's the snake. He's the snake, dude. You got to
[20:22] Speaker 4: watch out for this guy. What say you to those
[20:25] Speaker 4: who say you are him? It's a riddle.
[20:28] Speaker 2: I feel like he's a fortune cookie.
[20:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. Exactly, dude. Exactly.
[20:33] Speaker 2: I would say to my fans who support me, I
[20:36] Speaker 2: love you. But I am not that guy that goes
[20:39] Speaker 2: out and says, I'm him.
[20:40] Speaker 4: I don't know. The way we're going to cut that up,
[20:43] Speaker 4: I can assure you. That's not me. And if Logan
[20:46] Speaker 4: cuts it.
[20:48] Speaker 2: Up, 1v1 basketball.
[20:50] Speaker 4: No, no, no. That's already over. I'm never shooting another
[20:54] Speaker 4: basketball in my life, dude.
[20:56] Speaker 2: Really?
[20:56] Speaker 4: In my life. Yeah, so look.
[20:57] Speaker 5: All right, you're on this fitness journey, and that's great.
[20:59] Speaker 5: And what I was saying earlier was– it's so noble.
[21:02] Speaker 5: You have found this discipline and you want to, you
[21:04] Speaker 5: want to pursue this, you know, high, high physicality goals
[21:10] Speaker 5: of yours.
[21:10] Speaker 4: But I, I do it cause it's my job. Um,
[21:16] Speaker 4: does it ever get old?
[21:18] Speaker 1: Like when I was eating those chicken fingers just now,
[21:21] Speaker 1: which dude, I have to say we're fantastic.
[21:24] Speaker 4: Is it, is that discipline sometimes difficult? And do you
[21:29] Speaker 4: ever break?
[21:30] Speaker 2: No, No, because I feel like if I cheat myself,
[21:33] Speaker 2: then why I work so hard and then and mess
[21:36] Speaker 2: up to everything that I've already been trying. Because like
[21:38] Speaker 2: seeing results is so. I mean, it's what's the word
[21:42] Speaker 2: I'm looking for?
[21:43] Speaker 4: Satisfying.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Well, it's very satisfying, but it's like you just can't
[21:47] Speaker 2: get enough of it. Oh, addictive. Yeah.
[21:51] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[21:51] Speaker 2: And so for me, ingratiating.
[21:53] Speaker 4: All right. Easy. Fucking Einstein.
[21:55] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[21:56] Speaker 4: Relax, dude.
[21:58] Speaker 2: But I don't swear.
[21:59] Speaker 4: Frick. Yeah. I got you guys.
[22:03] Speaker 2: Do I?
[22:03] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[22:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, but I try not to because I just feel like,
[22:07] Speaker 2: you know, if there's kids watching.
[22:08] Speaker 4: Why are you so wholesome? How are you so wholesome?
[22:10] Speaker 2: Bro, it's hard.
[22:11] Speaker 4: I don't want, I mean, I want to be wholesome.
[22:13] Speaker 2: I'm just a nice person, but I feel like it
[22:15] Speaker 2: messes me up as well because I feel like people
[22:17] Speaker 2: are like, oh, he's so boring. But I was like,
[22:19] Speaker 2: I don't want to be mean. I can't be mean.
[22:21] Speaker 4: What's your favorite swear word? I don't know. There's a clip.
[22:26] Speaker 4: What's that clip? You know the clip? Yeah. Right.
[22:30] Speaker 3: It's so vile.
[22:33] Speaker 4: I was trying to recreate it. I was trying to
[22:35] Speaker 4: recreate it. Okay, so you don't, man. You got any vices? Yeah,
[22:38] Speaker 4: come on.
[22:39] Speaker 3: You ever had a sip of whiskey or something?
[22:41] Speaker 4: Yeah, man.
[22:41] Speaker 2: Yeah. Like last night, I'll say I cheated on my diet,
[22:45] Speaker 2: but I had like this much tequila.
[22:47] Speaker 4: Cops! Oh wow, you're a badass, dude. Thank you. What
[22:50] Speaker 4: are you, a felon or something?
[22:52] Speaker 2: But then right when I started drinking, it dried my
[22:55] Speaker 2: voice up. So then I just chugged like a gallon
[22:56] Speaker 2: of water.
[22:57] Speaker 4: Yo, talk to me about that.
[22:58] Speaker 1: I am so curious about the actual logistical grind of
[23:02] Speaker 1: being an artist who performs at your level.
[23:05] Speaker 4: Where you are on the road, right? And you also
[23:07] Speaker 4: have these like very.
[23:09] Speaker 1: Physical discipline that you want to do, which I imagine
[23:12] Speaker 1: is hard while you're traveling, having to eat the right
[23:14] Speaker 1: meals and prepare your food. I imagine that's all like
[23:17] Speaker 1: pretty planned out for you. But if you want to
[23:19] Speaker 1: have a good time on the road, you know, throw
[23:21] Speaker 1: it back, party, like live that rockstar lifestyle. How are
[23:26] Speaker 1: these things affecting your voice? The lack of sleep, the travel,
[23:30] Speaker 1: the food you maybe don't want to eat all the time.
[23:31] Speaker 1: And then the partying side of it as well.
[23:33] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[23:33] Speaker 2: Okay, so I just, what do I get? I got
[23:35] Speaker 2: to take them back before April.
[23:37] Speaker 4: Okay, so before April. Yeah, these are the times I
[23:39] Speaker 4: want to hear about, bro.
[23:41] Speaker 3: I want to hear about these pre-April.
[23:43] Speaker 5: Days, man.
[23:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, so before April, 205 pounds. Oh, yeah.
[23:48] Speaker 4: It's a lot of cane.
[23:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I would stay up until 3 a.m.
[23:54] Speaker 2: You know, play beer pong. You could not beat me.
[23:58] Speaker 2: Especially you now.
[23:59] Speaker 4: Hey, I'm going to beer pong. I'm going to beer pong.
[24:01] Speaker 4: We got to play. We'll see.
[24:01] Speaker 2: We'll play.
[24:02] Speaker 4: We got to play. No shot you're going to beer pong.
[24:05] Speaker 2: Play beer pong, tequila, everything. Not everything, but just chilling
[24:12] Speaker 2: backstage and just partying. Like a regular, regular party.
[24:16] Speaker 4: Like a rock, like a regular rock star. It's what
[24:18] Speaker 4: you would assume of a star. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[24:20] Speaker 2: Not, not 80s. You know what I'm saying?
[24:22] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[24:23] Speaker 2: No Coca-Cola.
[24:24] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. For sure. Okay. But then. Oh, yeah.
[24:27] Speaker 2: But yeah, it is hard to maintain your voice. I
[24:29] Speaker 2: found my vocal coach and I didn't realize how many
[24:33] Speaker 2: things could actually drive your voice. Yeah. And tequila is
[24:37] Speaker 2: one of them.
[24:38] Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
[24:39] Speaker 4: Yeah. Whiskey too. Pretty much any alcohol. Also screaming. We'll
[24:43] Speaker 4: do it. My voice, as you can tell, is gone.
[24:46] Speaker 2: I do a lot of screaming, a lot of woos.
[24:49] Speaker 4: Do you do chants? You ever do chants? Or big chants?
[24:53] Speaker 4: Not chants.
[24:54] Speaker 2: I do the... My thing I've been doing is the hi-yah.
[24:58] Speaker 4: Can I get a hi-yah?
[24:59] Speaker 3: Oh, it's funny you bring that up, dude. We know
[25:02] Speaker 3: a lot about that, dude.
[25:03] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[25:04] Speaker 2: The crowd goes crazy with it, though. They love it.
[25:06] Speaker 2: And it's so cool.
[25:06] Speaker 4: Bring Alyssa Violet on stage and do it. That'd be
[25:09] Speaker 4: pretty crazy. Yo, are you the best country music basketball player?
[25:15] Speaker 2: Depends who you ask.
[25:16] Speaker 4: I know somebody who could beat you.
[25:18] Speaker 2: In country music?
[25:18] Speaker 4: We already talked about him once. Jelly. Jelly rolls an
[25:21] Speaker 4: incredible basketball. Yeah. We literally just.
[25:25] Speaker 3: He hit me two days ago when he was at
[25:26] Speaker 3: SoFi to play in his three-on-three. I played with him before.
[25:29] Speaker 3: Jelly can play. You'd be surprised how physical.
[25:32] Speaker 2: Jelly can get.
[25:33] Speaker 4: Can Jelly beat me? Okay, thank you.
[25:36] Speaker 2: I love Jelly.
[25:36] Speaker 3: You'd be surprised how physical Jelly can get, man. He's
[25:38] Speaker 3: going to do some things over the next little, you know,
[25:42] Speaker 3: I think he's a real good guy, dude.
[25:43] Speaker 4: Can't dunk. No, that's Jelly roll. Can't dunk. No, that's Jelly.
[25:48] Speaker 2: Jelly can dunk.
[25:49] Speaker 4: Brother can dunk. You can dunk?
[25:52] Speaker 2: I mean, if it's a hoop, I can get it.
[25:54] Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, somebody toss it up to you. It counts.
[25:57] Speaker 4: You got good calves?
[26:00] Speaker 2: Yesterday was my first time jumping in two years.
[26:03] Speaker 3: Oh.
[26:03] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[26:04] Speaker 2: I surprised myself.
[26:05] Speaker 4: I'm jealous of what you do.
[26:07] Speaker 5: If I could have changed my career to do anything,
[26:11] Speaker 5: it would be to be some sort of musician.
[26:13] Speaker 1: I got to know what's that feeling like on stage today.
[26:16] Speaker 1: when you're singing and there's like 65,000 people in a
[26:19] Speaker 1: stadium just singing your song back to you and receiving
[26:23] Speaker 1: all of that energy?
[26:25] Speaker 2: I mean, it's one of the best feelings in the world.
[26:27] Speaker 2: I mean, same with you, bro. I mean, I know
[26:29] Speaker 2: that you, like, and everybody that thinks it's like athletes
[26:33] Speaker 2: want to be artists, artists want to be athletes. It's
[26:36] Speaker 2: very clear.
[26:37] Speaker 4: It is really funny. No, it is.
[26:38] Speaker 2: And, I mean, it's basically the same feeling. Like, what's
[26:43] Speaker 2: your high? I mean, I've seen some crazy stuff you've
[26:45] Speaker 2: been doing on WWE. I mean, that's got to be
[26:46] Speaker 2: insane to see those videos back and just to feel
[26:49] Speaker 2: it and as much work you put in.
[26:51] Speaker 1: I think my, I think my ultimate high is actually
[26:53] Speaker 1: what you just said. Cause I'm a content creator first.
[26:55] Speaker 1: It's when I see the video of the thing and
[26:58] Speaker 1: I'm like, man.
[26:59] Speaker 4: That was showtime.
[27:01] Speaker 1: Like that looked good, but doing it when I land it,
[27:05] Speaker 1: if I land it successfully uninjured is also like a pretty,
[27:09] Speaker 1: a pretty big rush, especially when they start chanting.
[27:12] Speaker 4: You still suck. And I just, and I'm like, yeah,
[27:16] Speaker 4: we got them.
[27:17] Speaker 5: Like, as long as you're saying something, you know, but
[27:19] Speaker 5: it's like, I'm, I'm really locked into what I'm doing.
[27:23] Speaker 4: Like I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm worried, not worried.
[27:26] Speaker 1: I'm highly concerned that the performance needs to be what
[27:29] Speaker 1: it needs to be. Um, and, and I'm not saying
[27:32] Speaker 1: yours is not, but I feel like you can probably,
[27:35] Speaker 1: you're probably at a point where you can live a
[27:36] Speaker 1: little more in the moment and like, enjoy what's happening.
[27:40] Speaker 4: I'm not there yet. I'm focused on the guy crossing
[27:42] Speaker 4: me at the moment.
[27:43] Speaker 2: Yeah. No, that makes sense.
[27:44] Speaker 4: Like, bro, I don't know. When I see guys on
[27:47] Speaker 4: stage performing, I'm just like. There's nothing cooler than that.
[27:51] Speaker 4: That's the coolest thing in the world to me.
[27:52] Speaker 2: Yeah, in the world.
[27:53] Speaker 4: Really? Yeah, I've been to your show. Come on.
[27:54] Speaker 2: See, I'm up there. Like I said, I'm the little
[27:56] Speaker 2: gods up there. I'm like, I hope they like me.
[27:58] Speaker 4: They all like you, brother. They're all clapping and singing
[28:02] Speaker 4: your songs.
[28:02] Speaker 3: He's the one that's got to ask that. He does
[28:04] Speaker 3: a backflip, and they all give him the finger and
[28:06] Speaker 3: tell him he sucks.
[28:07] Speaker 4: No, I get that, and I don't understand it. How
[28:09] Speaker 4: crazy is that? It's how I heal. It's my job. No,
[28:13] Speaker 4: I hope they don't like me. In fact, when people
[28:16] Speaker 4: do like me, I'm like.
[28:17] Speaker 2: No, I will say, that's major success, too, and I
[28:21] Speaker 2: envy you for being able to freaking own up to that.
[28:26] Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
[28:27] Speaker 4: Dude, I'm not like you, bro. I'm not as wholesome.
[28:30] Speaker 4: I'm a bit edgy. I do swear. Fuck. Is that
[28:33] Speaker 4: your favorite swear word?
[28:34] Speaker 2: Fuck yeah.
[28:36] Speaker 4: You're a badass, dude. More like a sick. Whoa.
[28:40] Speaker 3: Whoa.
[28:41] Speaker 4: You can't say that on YouTube. So that just got bleeped.
[28:43] Speaker 4: Point is, I'm edgy.
[28:45] Speaker 2: I'm edgy.
[28:46] Speaker 4: So like I've come to realize not everyone's going to
[28:49] Speaker 4: like me. And most of those people are strangers who
[28:52] Speaker 4: don't know me. And so like.
[28:54] Speaker 2: You don't care.
[28:55] Speaker 1: Bro subjecting myself to the opinions of strangers and like
[28:58] Speaker 1: actually giving that weight makes no fucking sense to me
[29:01] Speaker 1: took me a while to get there uh but not
[29:03] Speaker 1: bro you just you seem pretty great man i i'm
[29:06] Speaker 1: not sure how many kane brown.
[29:09] Speaker 4: Haters there are there's a lot what is there to
[29:12] Speaker 4: why why yeah what do they what do they focus
[29:14] Speaker 4: on i don't know i feel like i feel like.
[29:17] Speaker 3: The tell me if I'm wrong, but I feel like
[29:19] Speaker 3: the country music, uh, industry is kind of like gate kept.
[29:23] Speaker 3: Cause I saw like, as this new, uh, kind of
[29:27] Speaker 3: like field of, of, of artists have come up over
[29:30] Speaker 3: the past few years and mix that pop sound, some
[29:32] Speaker 3: hip hop, the country, dude, people, I mean, everybody wants
[29:38] Speaker 3: to protect like the Johnny Cash, like the, all you
[29:40] Speaker 3: know what i'm saying all the way back to like
[29:42] Speaker 3: and garth brooks and this and that you know what
[29:43] Speaker 3: i'm saying.
[29:44] Speaker 4: Like and that's the thing is that what you get
[29:46] Speaker 4: hate for well yeah.
[29:47] Speaker 2: Of course i mean and i mean come on dude
[29:49] Speaker 2: look at me like when i first came in everybody
[29:50] Speaker 2: thought i was a rapper um but one thing about
[29:54] Speaker 2: my is that funny Yeah.
[29:56] Speaker 4: That's crazy. Is that all you can be? Yeah. What's
[29:59] Speaker 4: this guy, a rapper or something? Yeah, basically. What? Can
[30:02] Speaker 4: I be?
[30:03] Speaker 2: That was my whole career. So for me, I mean,
[30:07] Speaker 2: and I don't feel like, like, I feel like when
[30:08] Speaker 2: I try and do like my actual country stuff to
[30:11] Speaker 2: be like, I love country music. I understand country music.
[30:15] Speaker 2: I feel like it always gets overlooked. So then when
[30:18] Speaker 2: I do like miles on it and things like that,
[30:22] Speaker 2: Those songs take off.
[30:23] Speaker 4: What do you like doing more?
[30:26] Speaker 2: I love, like, I mean, don't get me wrong. I
[30:28] Speaker 2: love running around, hype, energy. I want everybody to be
[30:33] Speaker 2: having a party. But I like just, like, Randy Travis
[30:37] Speaker 2: is one of my all-time favorites. And, like, Chris Young.
[30:41] Speaker 2: That's who I came up listening to. He's got an
[30:43] Speaker 2: awesome voice. Just those kind of guys are just awesome.
[30:47] Speaker 2: You know, George Strait, Alan Jackson.
[30:49] Speaker 4: Can you rap?
[30:49] Speaker 5: No.
[30:52] Speaker 4: See, now you did it.
[30:53] Speaker 2: I can.
[30:53] Speaker 4: I was just curious.
[30:54] Speaker 1: You're talented in one way musically.
[30:58] Speaker 2: I'm only going to play. Can I play like three
[31:00] Speaker 2: seconds or something? I would love this.
[31:01] Speaker 4: Are we going to get copyright?
[31:03] Speaker 2: No, no, no. Because it's not even out.
[31:04] Speaker 4: Can you label and whitelist our channel, please? Because they
[31:07] Speaker 4: will strike us down.
[31:07] Speaker 2: I'm certain. No, it's not even out.
[31:09] Speaker 4: They'll strike us down.
[31:10] Speaker 2: And it's not coming out. They will strike us down.
[31:12] Speaker 4: Oh, it's not coming out?
[31:13] Speaker 2: It's not going to come out.
[31:14] Speaker 4: This is great. Unreleased camera.
[31:15] Speaker 2: You're the manager?
[31:15] Speaker 4: You'll be okay. It's not out yet. That's how you
[31:18] Speaker 4: get flagged in the game. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Unless we
[31:22] Speaker 4: white list. Yeah, yeah, yeah. White list. Oh.
[31:29] Speaker 2: Where's it.
[31:32] Speaker 3: At?
[31:32] Speaker 4: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I told you that's going to
[31:35] Speaker 4: get cut. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[31:36] Speaker 4: He said it. He said it. He said it. I
[31:38] Speaker 4: told you it's not going to come out. Get the cops.
[31:40] Speaker 4: This is me expressing myself as an artist. Get the cops.
[31:42] Speaker 2: As an artist.
[31:43] Speaker 4: This dude's out of control. Get him out of here.
[31:45] Speaker 3: He's out of control, dude.
[31:48] Speaker 2: Hold up. Where's it at?
[31:50] Speaker 4: Naked? There's no words on there. He's going to the hook.
[31:53] Speaker 2: Okay, you ready?
[31:53] Speaker 4: That's the King Brown hook.
[31:54] Speaker 2: Here we go. That's all I'm giving you.
[32:03] Speaker 4: You can country rap. Oh, man. We heard you.
[32:08] Speaker 3: Dude, Red Bank ain't going to be happy about that one.
[32:14] Speaker 4: Wow.
[32:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, but I wanted to, we've been talking about, I
[32:16] Speaker 2: was even thinking like Glorilla or like Big X is
[32:20] Speaker 2: doing an album already, so I feel like it's got
[32:22] Speaker 2: to be somebody else. But Kevin Gates, I felt like
[32:24] Speaker 2: it would be sick.
[32:26] Speaker 4: Yeah, that would work too. There's a lot. Did you
[32:29] Speaker 4: experience racism coming up?
[32:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I grew up in Georgia. And the
[32:35] Speaker 2: way I grew up was kind of crazy because I
[32:36] Speaker 2: grew up in an all-white family, me being biracial. I
[32:39] Speaker 2: was never told about my dad, didn't know what my
[32:41] Speaker 2: dad looked like. He's been locked in prison since 96.
[32:43] Speaker 2: He's still there today.
[32:45] Speaker 4: Whoa.
[32:46] Speaker 2: And I never met my black side of the family
[32:49] Speaker 2: at all. So my whole time, my little brother that
[32:51] Speaker 2: grew up on me, he was white. So I just thought,
[32:53] Speaker 2: you know, being out in the sun, I got a
[32:55] Speaker 2: little darker, you know, my black friends never went inside. So, yeah.
[33:02] Speaker 3: So you thought you just had that like olive complex, like.
[33:05] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[33:06] Speaker 1: Was there ever a moment where like, was it your
[33:10] Speaker 1: mom who was like, Kane, you're black?
[33:12] Speaker 2: No, my little brother.
[33:13] Speaker 4: He told you? Yeah. What'd he say, Kane? Well, his, his.
[33:18] Speaker 2: Dad, that I went through child abuse with told him that,
[33:23] Speaker 2: you know, he wasn't my dad, blah, blah, blah, which
[33:26] Speaker 2: I never asked.
[33:27] Speaker 4: Oh, he was a half brother.
[33:28] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[33:28] Speaker 4: Okay.
[33:28] Speaker 2: So my mom was with his dad for a while.
[33:31] Speaker 2: So when I was growing up, that was basically my dad.
[33:34] Speaker 2: Cause my dad never got talked about.
[33:35] Speaker 4: Yep.
[33:36] Speaker 2: And, and he, and he was white.
[33:37] Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh shit. Yeah.
[33:40] Speaker 2: So it was just, and I, yeah, I just, I
[33:43] Speaker 2: was just confused growing up.
[33:45] Speaker 4: How old were you when that?
[33:47] Speaker 2: I mean, from probably four or five on. Well, I
[33:53] Speaker 2: started at four and five. I don't know when he left, but.
[33:56] Speaker 3: So you had a father figure, though, in your- Stepdad? Yeah, well, yeah,
[34:03] Speaker 3: some sort.
[34:03] Speaker 4: Of, yeah.
[34:04] Speaker 2: So he was living in the house with us.
[34:05] Speaker 4: Right.
[34:06] Speaker 2: And he helped raise me.
[34:07] Speaker 4: Got it.
[34:08] Speaker 2: But then they, him and my mom got divorced. And
[34:10] Speaker 2: then it was his stepdads coming in left and right.
[34:12] Speaker 4: Got it.
[34:13] Speaker 2: But I had already found out that he wasn't my
[34:14] Speaker 2: dad because my little brother told me.
[34:16] Speaker 4: Have you had any- communication with your real father. Yeah.
[34:20] Speaker 2: Uh, he calls me every now and then we, we
[34:22] Speaker 2: had a bad little, uh, fallout and then he reached
[34:26] Speaker 2: is reaching back out. Now, again, he wants me and
[34:27] Speaker 2: my brothers and sisters that I also didn't find out
[34:29] Speaker 2: till I was 16 that I had, What? Two sisters.
[34:33] Speaker 2: Holy shit. And two older brothers that I found out
[34:36] Speaker 2: when I was 16.
[34:37] Speaker 4: To reconnect. You want y'all to reconnect.
[34:38] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[34:38] Speaker 4: Those are your full blood siblings or just half?
[34:42] Speaker 1: Half.
[34:43] Speaker 4: Also half.
[34:44] Speaker 3: And is he expected to get out ever or?
[34:47] Speaker 2: He's trying to right now. And then his plan is
[34:49] Speaker 2: to bring everybody back together. And he wants to be
[34:51] Speaker 2: my security guard.
[34:53] Speaker 4: He's got a whole plan.
[34:55] Speaker 2: Yeah. But I mean, he's got to get out first.
[34:57] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. But good for him. He's.
[34:59] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[34:59] Speaker 4: I mean, he's he seems I've met him one time
[35:02] Speaker 4: in person.
[35:02] Speaker 2: He's freaking huge.
[35:03] Speaker 4: Really? Yeah.
[35:04] Speaker 2: Six, five to 270. Oh, damn. I was benching like 515. Oh,
[35:07] Speaker 2: my God. He's the biggest guy in his prison. No
[35:10] Speaker 2: one's fucking with him. No, I'm always like, who you
[35:12] Speaker 2: got to mess with? He's like, nobody.
[35:14] Speaker 4: Oh, so maybe he should be your security then. That
[35:17] Speaker 4: actually makes sense.
[35:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a big boy.
[35:20] Speaker 4: Whoa.
[35:21] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[35:22] Speaker 4: The first the first time I heard about you.
[35:24] Speaker 1: It was under the context of like, yeah, there's this
[35:26] Speaker 1: black country artist who's like taking over all the charts.
[35:30] Speaker 5: No, I just, that was like, I was like, all right,
[35:32] Speaker 5: who is he? And then it was explained to me
[35:36] Speaker 5: in the context of like, this has never really happened
[35:38] Speaker 5: before in country music.
[35:41] Speaker 4: Is that true?
[35:42] Speaker 2: Well, Charlie Pryde, I mean, Charlie Pryde was huge in
[35:45] Speaker 2: country music. And then Darius Rucker.
[35:47] Speaker 4: I'm just saying, I was ignorant. I was, it was
[35:50] Speaker 4: giving misinformation.
[35:52] Speaker 3: Would you say Darius Rucker's, Would you classify that as country?
[35:57] Speaker 2: I mean, Wagon Wheel is one of the biggest songs
[36:00] Speaker 2: in country music. I mean, I feel like everybody knows
[36:02] Speaker 2: Wagon Wheel.
[36:05] Speaker 4: Yeah, Hootie.
[36:06] Speaker 3: I'm saying, like, is that pre-Hootie or after?
[36:09] Speaker 2: That's after.
[36:10] Speaker 4: After?
[36:10] Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he came in and then had that song.
[36:12] Speaker 4: That's why I ask. Yeah.
[36:14] Speaker 3: Because he kind of was already established with Hootie, right,
[36:17] Speaker 3: before that. So, really, I mean, at the end of
[36:21] Speaker 3: the day, like, you're one of very few.
[36:23] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[36:24] Speaker 2: I mean, I saw a stat the other day that
[36:26] Speaker 2: like out of everybody on country radio, I think it
[36:29] Speaker 2: was like 9% was black artists or something like that.
[36:34] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why do you think that is?
[36:36] Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, I mean, I mean, I do know,
[36:41] Speaker 2: but I don't know.
[36:42] Speaker 3: I mean, I'll just say the loud words quietly out loud,
[36:46] Speaker 3: the quiet words out loud. Country music has been a
[36:49] Speaker 3: very predominantly white protected art for a long time.
[36:54] Speaker 4: It just has been.
[36:54] Speaker 3: And I can only imagine how difficult it was to
[36:59] Speaker 3: break into that. And you probably helped so many artists
[37:04] Speaker 3: take that. I mean, Have you spoken with Shibuzy? Are
[37:07] Speaker 3: you guys close?
[37:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my guy.
[37:09] Speaker 4: Amazing.
[37:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's killing it right now.
[37:11] Speaker 3: That's sick. Have you ever dealt with racism in the industry?
[37:17] Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
[37:18] Speaker 2: I remember, I won't say a name because I don't
[37:20] Speaker 2: want to throw him under the bus, but there was
[37:23] Speaker 2: one writer that he said he wouldn't write with me
[37:25] Speaker 2: because I was black. Yeah, and then I confronted him
[37:27] Speaker 2: about it and everything.
[37:28] Speaker 4: That's real racism.
[37:28] Speaker 2: He tried to apologize to me at the bar. And
[37:30] Speaker 2: there was another big writer that has like over 30
[37:32] Speaker 2: number ones that said the same thing.
[37:34] Speaker 4: Yo, that's crazy.
[37:34] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[37:35] Speaker 2: And then, but then he apologized whenever we blew up
[37:37] Speaker 2: and was trying to write with me. And I said, no,
[37:39] Speaker 2: of course.
[37:39] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yo, that's, that's crazy. Like that's cause that's real racism.
[37:43] Speaker 2: That's fucked. That was, that was my Facebook days when
[37:45] Speaker 2: I was just coming in social media. Nobody believed it.
[37:49] Speaker 4: Weird.
[37:50] Speaker 5: Weird.
[37:50] Speaker 4: Just so, just so weird. Yeah. Um, dude, you are
[37:54] Speaker 4: a dad of three. Congratulations.
[37:57] Speaker 2: Thank you. Beautiful family.
[37:59] Speaker 4: Um, how do you find the work life balance?
[38:02] Speaker 2: My wife is superwoman. Always holds down the fort. And
[38:07] Speaker 2: my kids are just awesome. And, you know, I never
[38:10] Speaker 2: thought being a dad would be so sick, but it's
[38:14] Speaker 2: pretty nice.
[38:14] Speaker 4: How old are they?
[38:16] Speaker 2: My one's about to turn six. My other one's about,
[38:20] Speaker 2: middle child's about to turn four. And then my son
[38:22] Speaker 2: just turned one.
[38:23] Speaker 4: So you're a proper dad.
[38:25] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[38:26] Speaker 4: And you have a daughter as well.
[38:27] Speaker 2: Two daughters. Two daughters, one son.
[38:29] Speaker 1: Two daughters.
[38:29] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[38:30] Speaker 2: They're trips, bro. Twice girl, dad. My oldest, she'll say,
[38:33] Speaker 2: if you don't give her what her wants, like she's
[38:35] Speaker 2: so smart, she'll say, I'm sorry, but if you don't
[38:39] Speaker 2: let me do this, I'm going to throw a fit.
[38:40] Speaker 4: No way. She'll just say that? Dude, respect.
[38:44] Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
[38:45] Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
[38:45] Speaker 2: We're to the point where we're like, do it.
[38:49] Speaker 4: That's genius. What do you say to that, dude?
[38:52] Speaker 2: You can't.
[38:53] Speaker 4: What do you say to that?
[38:54] Speaker 2: It's, I don't know.
[38:57] Speaker 1: I have a nine-month-old daughter, and so I'm like, looking
[39:01] Speaker 1: ahead and waiting for these moments, me, me and Nina
[39:03] Speaker 1: will run like simulations and, and see like, you know,
[39:06] Speaker 1: what if she says this and how do you respond?
[39:08] Speaker 1: Cause I imagine like at some point raising a kid,
[39:14] Speaker 1: you're going to be like, what, how do I even
[39:18] Speaker 1: respond to this?
[39:19] Speaker 4: Do like kids are trips.
[39:21] Speaker 2: No.
[39:21] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[39:22] Speaker 2: And it's, it's funny. Like what you gotta, you gotta
[39:24] Speaker 2: watch out what you say, or if you slip up
[39:26] Speaker 2: on a curse word and call somebody, which I, um,
[39:29] Speaker 2: I'm losing it up a little bit.
[39:34] Speaker 4: We do. We do got to believe that particular word.
[39:36] Speaker 2: No, that's not that edgy.
[39:38] Speaker 4: That's why it has nothing to do with edginess, bro.
[39:45] Speaker 3: I'll say anything. I can say a whole bunch of
[39:47] Speaker 3: stuff that's.
[39:47] Speaker 4: Worse, but we'll get demonetized.
[39:49] Speaker 2: If you go to Australia, that's their language.
[39:51] Speaker 4: No, 100%. They're all demonetized, man. They're not earning on
[39:54] Speaker 4: ad revenue whatsoever. No, yeah. CPM's low.
[39:57] Speaker 3: You want to know the craziest thing about his situation
[40:00] Speaker 3: with his wife? She's not just a wife. She's a
[40:02] Speaker 3: collaborative artist on music. They make music together. What the
[40:08] Speaker 3: heck is that like, dude?
[40:09] Speaker 2: No, it's cool. I mean, she's a beast. Like, she can.
[40:14] Speaker 2: Sing her butt off.
[40:16] Speaker 3: Nice. What if you're like, I don't really like that song.
[40:23] Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
[40:24] Speaker 3: Like she writes, she like really like hones in on
[40:26] Speaker 3: a sound or something. You're like, nah, I don't really
[40:27] Speaker 3: like that.
[40:27] Speaker 2: Well, everyone that we've done so far is just I
[40:31] Speaker 2: brought to her.
[40:31] Speaker 4: Okay, got it.
[40:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, she really wants, and I think she would kill.
[40:34] Speaker 2: So if any Disney person or whoever's watching, she slays
[40:40] Speaker 2: any Disney princess song.
[40:41] Speaker 4: Yeah, so they're not watching this, man. Nah, they're not
[40:45] Speaker 4: watching it, man.
[40:46] Speaker 2: Kills it.
[40:46] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[40:47] Speaker 3: But somebody watching this will know someone that not, this
[40:51] Speaker 3: message ain't getting to any of those people, bro. There's
[40:53] Speaker 3: no executives watching this program right now, dude.
[40:58] Speaker 4: Can you give me some girl dad advice?
[41:00] Speaker 2: Girl dad advice.
[41:00] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[41:01] Speaker 2: Front to back.
[41:02] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
[41:05] Speaker 1: Wow is that so that's the one piece of advice
[41:07] Speaker 1: that you would give me wow so that out of
[41:10] Speaker 1: everything you.
[41:10] Speaker 4: Could have said it's a big one is it that big.
[41:14] Speaker 2: That's massive bro she's like yeah okay but I got
[41:18] Speaker 2: it I got it well.
[41:19] Speaker 3: Then you won it's over game's over she's she's gonna
[41:22] Speaker 3: succeed can you give me one more.
[41:24] Speaker 4: Piece of girl that advice uh yeah um.
[41:30] Speaker 2: I don't know man I don't know really any advice
[41:33] Speaker 2: other than they're You're going to be wrapped around her finger.
[41:36] Speaker 2: I will say that. And I will tell you this.
[41:39] Speaker 2: You more than likely are going to have to be
[41:42] Speaker 2: the disciplinary person, which is also the hardest thing to
[41:47] Speaker 2: do because, like I said, my daughter that says, I'm
[41:51] Speaker 2: going to pitch a fit.
[41:52] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[41:52] Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't want to have to punish you.
[41:55] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[41:55] Speaker 2: And then after I do it, I'm just like, yeah.
[41:59] Speaker 2: You know, you think about it.
[42:00] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[42:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, but the alternative is worse.
[42:04] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. Just letting up, yeah, to go off the
[42:06] Speaker 4: rails and become a stripper.
[42:09] Speaker 2: I would say for you, from where you're at in
[42:12] Speaker 2: life right now, for your kid to be coming up,
[42:14] Speaker 2: because mine, like, you know, everybody, like when we're on
[42:17] Speaker 2: the road, everybody's like, this is your show. She just
[42:20] Speaker 2: came out with us and performed for the first time.
[42:22] Speaker 2: So like, this is your show. This is your tour buzz.
[42:25] Speaker 2: This is your tour. Like, she kind of, her britches
[42:29] Speaker 2: got a little too big for a little bit.
[42:32] Speaker 4: So yeah. Yeah.
[42:34] Speaker 2: So I say, I think that's the hardest part of
[42:36] Speaker 2: finding a balance. Cause like we'll go to, or even
[42:38] Speaker 2: like if we go to Disney, they don't realize that
[42:41] Speaker 2: not every kid gets to go to Disney. So I
[42:43] Speaker 2: think that's the hardest part of parenting is like, when
[42:46] Speaker 2: you actually have stuff that you can give them, they
[42:48] Speaker 2: can ask for it and you can give it to them.
[42:50] Speaker 2: It's just telling them like, not everybody gets this and
[42:52] Speaker 2: just explaining that to them.
[42:53] Speaker 4: For sure.
[42:54] Speaker 3: Do you get the fast pass for them?
[42:56] Speaker 4: Obviously.
[42:56] Speaker 2: Yeah. We do the VIP, all that stuff.
[42:59] Speaker 3: Do you ever stick them in seat 34 F just
[43:02] Speaker 3: so they, they get it. Like you show them the
[43:04] Speaker 3: other side like one time type shit?
[43:06] Speaker 2: I try to. My wife's like, nah.
[43:08] Speaker 4: Nah, because she don't want to do it.
[43:11] Speaker 2: She's like, I'm not flying in that. Those are her babies,
[43:14] Speaker 2: so she wants them to have everything. Dude, that's the
[43:17] Speaker 2: tough part about parenting, man. To do it right, you're
[43:22] Speaker 2: going to probably upset your kids a few times. My
[43:26] Speaker 2: dad upset me a bunch. So did my mom. I'm
[43:28] Speaker 2: glad your dad... I didn't have a dad to do
[43:30] Speaker 2: that to me. Yeah, it's... got him.
[43:36] Speaker 1: Damn you gotta take all that i'm like i'm like
[43:39] Speaker 1: man my dad he did these things like i don't even.
[43:41] Speaker 4: Have a doubt okay so which one do you think
[43:45] Speaker 4: is worse probably my dad bro to be honest.
[43:52] Speaker 1: No no no dude my dad's incredible my dad's incredible
[43:54] Speaker 1: but he did he was willing to do the hard
[43:56] Speaker 1: parts of parenting yeah that forged jake and i into
[44:00] Speaker 1: the the men that we are And we can attribute
[44:02] Speaker 1: like pretty much most, if not all of our success
[44:05] Speaker 1: to the work ethic that he has given to us.
[44:07] Speaker 1: And man, it's not always easy being the bad guy.
[44:10] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[44:11] Speaker 4: It can be.
[44:14] Speaker 3: Dude, in 2013, you auditioned for X Factor USA. And
[44:20] Speaker 3: then they, after being casted, they wanted you to instead
[44:24] Speaker 3: be in a boy band.
[44:28] Speaker 4: Why did you say no to that?
[44:30] Speaker 2: Um, there was a, I just followed my heart. It
[44:32] Speaker 2: was something in my stomach saying don't join. And I
[44:36] Speaker 2: rooted for those guys. I watched the whole show, uh,
[44:39] Speaker 2: called restless road. They're awesome. And after I got my
[44:42] Speaker 2: record deal, we, uh, went and signed them.
[44:46] Speaker 4: Whoa, sorry.
[44:48] Speaker 3: You signed, you signed or your label?
[44:51] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[44:52] Speaker 2: We, uh, my record, well, we have a record label
[44:53] Speaker 2: and we signed.
[44:55] Speaker 4: Oh, sorry. Okay. Got it.
[44:56] Speaker 3: Signed the boy band that you were supposed to be in.
[44:59] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[45:00] Speaker 3: Wow.
[45:00] Speaker 4: That's a, you bet on yourself.
[45:03] Speaker 1: Wow.
[45:04] Speaker 4: Yeah. And it worked out. Yeah. Yeah. That's amazing. Yeah.
[45:07] Speaker 2: That was, uh, and I, I, I've kind of lost that, uh,
[45:12] Speaker 2: that feeling, but that was like for the longest, like
[45:15] Speaker 2: at the beginning of my career was just following my gut.
[45:17] Speaker 2: And I just knew what was going to happen. I would,
[45:20] Speaker 2: I would go to sleep and have like, my favorite
[45:22] Speaker 2: thing was I released a song right after going viral
[45:26] Speaker 2: called Used to Love You Sober. And I went to
[45:27] Speaker 2: sleep and I dreamed that it was number one on iTunes.
[45:32] Speaker 2: And I woke up, it was number one. And then
[45:35] Speaker 2: that's when I ended up getting a call from a
[45:37] Speaker 2: record label that day, Big Machine. So I remember crying
[45:41] Speaker 2: in my bathroom of just, I don't know, I felt
[45:43] Speaker 2: like everything that was happening, I saw it happening before
[45:45] Speaker 2: it did.
[45:46] Speaker 4: Yeah. That's the type of shit you dream about? Yeah.
[45:50] Speaker 3: I dream sometimes that I'm like a granola bar, for example.
[45:53] Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
[45:54] Speaker 3: The fact that you have dreams about real life stuff
[45:56] Speaker 3: is pretty awesome.
[45:58] Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't really dream too much about. Do you
[46:00] Speaker 4: dream about real life stuff? Me? Yeah. Like pirates?
[46:04] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[46:04] Speaker 4: Do you know what I'm saying? Do you know what
[46:06] Speaker 4: I'm saying? Or like someone's on fire. Yeah. You know
[46:10] Speaker 4: what I'm saying?
[46:11] Speaker 3: Like imagine dreaming like that. You know, we got picked
[46:14] Speaker 3: up by fanatics in WWE.
[46:15] Speaker 4: Yeah. Like your goals? Yeah. Dude, I've always thought it
[46:18] Speaker 4: was really funny. Like, yeah, I made my dreams come true.
[46:21] Speaker 4: I never dreamed about being a WWE superstar, bro. I
[46:24] Speaker 4: dreamed about the dumbest shit ever. Dumbest shit ever. Oh,
[46:26] Speaker 4: my God.
[46:26] Speaker 3: Why is this dude chasing me?
[46:28] Speaker 4: Why am I riding a giant duck? Why can't I
[46:30] Speaker 4: punch him? Across the Indian Ocean. Why can't I only
[46:32] Speaker 4: punch in slow motion? We're underwater.
[46:34] Speaker 2: Dude, I can breathe.
[46:35] Speaker 4: I'm stuck in the concrete. My body. Help me.
[46:38] Speaker 2: How am I a fish?
[46:38] Speaker 4: Help me, dude. Yeah, why?
[46:40] Speaker 3: Why am I on the top of this palm tree
[46:42] Speaker 3: right now? And how do I get down? He's got
[46:44] Speaker 3: plaques on the wall in an office.
[46:49] Speaker 4: Well, what's the disconnect here? You know what I'm saying?
[46:52] Speaker 2: You can control them, bro.
[46:54] Speaker 4: Oh, really?
[46:54] Speaker 3: Can you make my dead grandma stop visiting me then, dude?
[46:57] Speaker 3: Because you and I are having very different dreams, bro.
[47:01] Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? I control mine.
[47:03] Speaker 4: You lose a dream? You lose a dream? Yeah. You
[47:05] Speaker 4: did the protocol.
[47:06] Speaker 2: I just learned how to do it.
[47:07] Speaker 4: You did the dot on your hand?
[47:09] Speaker 3: Mm-mm.
[47:10] Speaker 4: What did you do?
[47:10] Speaker 2: I just, after I had like the same dream three
[47:13] Speaker 2: times in a row, baseball diamond running around the bases,
[47:17] Speaker 2: I couldn't run. And Michael Myers was chasing me.
[47:20] Speaker 4: Now you're talking. Yes.
[47:22] Speaker 3: Now you're talking my language.
[47:23] Speaker 2: So once I found out I was, it was the
[47:26] Speaker 2: third time I was like, this is a dream. I
[47:29] Speaker 2: could run as fast as I wanted to. I turned around,
[47:31] Speaker 2: I beat the hell out of Michael Jackson.
[47:33] Speaker 4: Damn, now we're talking. See, you and I are on
[47:38] Speaker 4: all that difference.
[47:39] Speaker 3: You were running around the bases, you beat the shit
[47:41] Speaker 3: out of Michael Jackson.
[47:43] Speaker 4: These are my type of dreams, bro. Damn, man.
[47:48] Speaker 3: Where did Michael Jackson come from?
[47:52] Speaker 4: That's crazy, man. you love mike myers.
[47:55] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah and then after that i just started realizing
[47:58] Speaker 2: that once i was asleep that i was dreaming so
[48:00] Speaker 2: then um i started dreaming about song lyrics then i
[48:03] Speaker 2: could wake myself wow i would wake myself up and
[48:06] Speaker 2: i'd write them down there was.
[48:07] Speaker 3: No practice or protocol you just could do it one.
[48:10] Speaker 2: Day yeah i mean like if it's like it would
[48:12] Speaker 2: be like you it's uh it's like a simulation of
[48:14] Speaker 2: you just constantly doing something doing something doing something you're
[48:17] Speaker 2: like i've done this so many times you know what
[48:19] Speaker 2: Your brain just triggers.
[48:20] Speaker 4: You know what you should do?
[48:21] Speaker 3: You should carry like a unique object with you when
[48:24] Speaker 3: you go to sleep that like no one else has
[48:26] Speaker 3: and no one else has seen how it works. Like
[48:30] Speaker 3: a dreidel that will spin forever, right? Or like a
[48:33] Speaker 3: dice that's like.
[48:33] Speaker 4: Yeah, you're just describing the plot of Inception. Yeah, that's right.
[48:40] Speaker 3: Sorry, I was going to claim that as creativity.
[48:43] Speaker 4: I'm not like a top that spins. It sounds like inception.
[48:47] Speaker 4: It sounds like inception, dude.
[48:48] Speaker 3: It sounds like you gotta, you know, like, so you
[48:50] Speaker 3: just know you're dreaming and then you're just like, no,
[48:52] Speaker 3: I can do whatever I want here.
[48:54] Speaker 4: I can go number one.
[48:55] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[48:56] Speaker 4: Dude, that's unfair. That's unfair. I gotta say that's unfair.
[48:58] Speaker 1: Cause I had, I had a dream once where it
[49:01] Speaker 1: was productive. Like something happened in the dream where I
[49:04] Speaker 1: was able to like brainstorm an idea in the dream.
[49:07] Speaker 4: And I woke up like with the breakthrough, I was like, wow.
[49:11] Speaker 1: Sick, I was able to work and be productive while
[49:14] Speaker 1: I was sleeping.
[49:15] Speaker 4: So the fact that.
[49:16] Speaker 1: You're able to like manifest a reality and also even
[49:20] Speaker 1: come up with lyrics is a it's definitely a cheat
[49:23] Speaker 1: code and movies.
[49:24] Speaker 3: What if yeah what if like a bunch of time
[49:27] Speaker 3: goes by right right well that'll happen what if but
[49:33] Speaker 3: then you wake up dude and you're in red bank
[49:37] Speaker 3: and you're seven and everybody's around you and they're like.
[49:40] Speaker 2: Dude That would trip me out. That would trip me out.
[49:45] Speaker 3: And all of this, bro. All this shit was.
[49:48] Speaker 4: All not real.
[49:49] Speaker 2: I'd probably wake myself up.
[49:51] Speaker 4: Yeah. Wake yourself up from what?
[49:56] Speaker 2: Are you saying I'm dreaming?
[49:57] Speaker 4: Yes, and Michael Jackson's chasing you around the bases, bro. Yeah.
[50:02] Speaker 4: What if this is all simulation, man?
[50:04] Speaker 2: Talking about this right here?
[50:05] Speaker 4: All of it.
[50:06] Speaker 2: No, I would know.
[50:07] Speaker 4: You would know?
[50:08] Speaker 2: I would know, yeah.
[50:09] Speaker 4: I feel like you would know. It sounds like you
[50:11] Speaker 4: have good instincts. Yeah.
[50:12] Speaker 5: Even the way you say you're following your heart at
[50:13] Speaker 5: such a young age, even given like a cool opportunity.
[50:16] Speaker 4: I feel like he would know. So then what about aliens?
[50:19] Speaker 2: What about them?
[50:20] Speaker 4: Do they exist?
[50:22] Speaker 2: I wouldn't say they don't exist. I have a massive imagination.
[50:25] Speaker 2: I will say that. And I will argue like I have. Oh, God,
[50:29] Speaker 2: here we go. Like my half of a sister-in-law that
[50:35] Speaker 2: basically works almost close for NASA.
[50:37] Speaker 4: Like.
[50:39] Speaker 2: Um, and so I got argue with her all the
[50:40] Speaker 2: time about the moon landing and all that stuff. I
[50:45] Speaker 2: don't know who has to do this.
[50:47] Speaker 4: Don't do it. I think the likelihood is very small.
[50:50] Speaker 4: I actually landed on the moon.
[50:51] Speaker 3: I hope one day Buzz Aldrin beats your ass. I
[50:57] Speaker 3: hope Buzz Aldrin beats your ass, bro. I hope you're
[51:01] Speaker 3: walking down the street or whatever, Puerto Rico. And he's
[51:04] Speaker 3: walking down the street and he sees you and he says,
[51:06] Speaker 3: you Dumbass. I saw your podcast and beat your ass, bro.
[51:10] Speaker 3: You are an anti-American to say that.
[51:12] Speaker 4: You probably think the earth is flat.
[51:14] Speaker 2: I don't think that means anti-American.
[51:16] Speaker 4: You want to know what it means?
[51:17] Speaker 2: It means you're pro-Russia.
[51:19] Speaker 4: That's right.
[51:20] Speaker 3: You guys are propagandists.
[51:21] Speaker 4: Nah, they didn't nail it with Sputnik, though.
[51:26] Speaker 1: They got the government lying to the entire country because
[51:30] Speaker 1: of that Sputnik.
[51:31] Speaker 4: What if that trend continues?
[51:33] Speaker 3: Okay and you've you know you've got all the people
[51:36] Speaker 3: that were a part of the mission and they all
[51:38] Speaker 3: were like dude they went to the moon and they
[51:40] Speaker 3: we have doubt craft and the moon rocks and the
[51:42] Speaker 3: people and the video and all of the things that
[51:44] Speaker 3: like basically guarantee the fact that it happened and then
[51:48] Speaker 3: logan paul says it didn't but how far does that
[51:52] Speaker 3: go you know what i'm saying like then what happens
[51:55] Speaker 3: when people start to doubt everything and then you end
[51:57] Speaker 3: up at a point where People start to say, maybe
[52:01] Speaker 3: this isn't real.
[52:02] Speaker 4: This reality.
[52:03] Speaker 3: Like how far does it go? Like how many questions
[52:05] Speaker 3: do you ask?
[52:06] Speaker 2: This is my only thing. They made a phone call
[52:10] Speaker 2: when they landed. I can't get service in the elevator.
[52:15] Speaker 4: It's dude. It's without even, we don't have to get
[52:18] Speaker 4: into it.
[52:19] Speaker 3: It's military technology. It's 80 years ahead.
[52:22] Speaker 4: They've got technology.
[52:24] Speaker 3: They've got technology right now. That wouldn't make sense.
[52:26] Speaker 4: Gus Grissom. You know what I'm saying?
[52:29] Speaker 3: Like, bro, the military can make a phone call and
[52:32] Speaker 3: the military can go in that elevator and turn that
[52:35] Speaker 3: elevator into a telephone.
[52:37] Speaker 4: Like, you don't understand.
[52:38] Speaker 2: I get that, but it's 2025 and I still lose signal.
[52:43] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[52:44] Speaker 4: Dude, the story. You made a phone call.
[52:46] Speaker 2: When do we land on the moon?
[52:47] Speaker 4: 1969.
[52:48] Speaker 3: You can't just say that. You can't just say that
[52:51] Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden we didn't land on
[52:52] Speaker 3: the moon.
[52:53] Speaker 4: No, no.
[52:53] Speaker 3: Because you can't make a phone.
[52:54] Speaker 4: Call on an elevator. No, no, no.
[52:56] Speaker 2: It's just one of my things.
[52:57] Speaker 4: See, I believe what you say. I just don't like
[52:59] Speaker 4: when he says stuff. You're fine, bro. If you know
[53:02] Speaker 4: the story of Gus Grissom, dude, you have to look
[53:05] Speaker 4: this up.
[53:06] Speaker 2: You have to.
[53:08] Speaker 4: He is one of the astronauts who the conspiracy is.
[53:15] Speaker 1: Was burned alive in the cockpit of one of the
[53:18] Speaker 1: test launches with two other astronauts and he was like
[53:22] Speaker 1: the best and brightest in america's space fleet and he
[53:25] Speaker 1: was outspoken against the space program because he was basically
[53:28] Speaker 1: like we don't have the technology to do this and
[53:31] Speaker 1: you expect us to make it to the moon this
[53:33] Speaker 1: is unsafe this ship is not ready to fly in
[53:35] Speaker 1: fact he hung a lemon on a coat hanger on
[53:38] Speaker 1: one of the things as like a joke as basically
[53:41] Speaker 1: to say like this is the This rocket is a dud.
[53:44] Speaker 4: This doesn't work.
[53:45] Speaker 1: He's on one of his communications before they were doing
[53:48] Speaker 1: their test launches. They couldn't get communication like for to
[53:53] Speaker 1: the HQ miles down the road.
[53:56] Speaker 4: And he said, he's like.
[53:58] Speaker 1: We can't talk and we can't correctly communicate. And we're
[54:02] Speaker 1: miles down the street from each other. How are we
[54:03] Speaker 1: supposed to go to the moon? And he ended up
[54:07] Speaker 1: dying in one of the rockets. He got burned alive
[54:10] Speaker 1: because there was too much oxygen in the cockpit at
[54:12] Speaker 1: the time. And there was a fuse that lit.
[54:15] Speaker 4: And it was absolutely horrible. You have to watch his story.
[54:17] Speaker 1: When I saw this and I saw like he was
[54:19] Speaker 1: writing letters to the government about how they're not ready.
[54:21] Speaker 4: And like, there's no way they.
[54:22] Speaker 2: Can do this.
[54:23] Speaker 4: Is there a chance he was wrong about the readiness?
[54:26] Speaker 4: of course there's a chance okay cool of course there's a.
[54:27] Speaker 3: Chance so so you can't get service in an elevator
[54:31] Speaker 3: and one dude blew up in a rocket so he
[54:33] Speaker 3: didn't go to space three and they didn't blow okay
[54:34] Speaker 3: but i'm just saying.
[54:35] Speaker 2: At the end of the day come on boys prove
[54:36] Speaker 2: it right and then now the ai is so crazy.
[54:40] Speaker 3: Once again are we really here right now kane says
[54:45] Speaker 3: we are yeah we're here okay fine well you can
[54:47] Speaker 3: manipulate dreams okay so i believe you do you think
[54:50] Speaker 3: ai is going to kill everyone.
[54:54] Speaker 2: No, but did y'all see the, well, I'm not going
[54:56] Speaker 2: to say no. I think it's another 50-50 thing. But
[54:58] Speaker 2: did y'all see where the AI, they did a business
[55:02] Speaker 2: thing and they said we were going to, We're going
[55:03] Speaker 2: to shut you down. And then it wrote like blackmailing emails.
[55:07] Speaker 4: Blackmail employees, talking their own language.
[55:09] Speaker 2: 80 or was it 78% of the time or 82%
[55:12] Speaker 2: of the time they tried it multiple times.
[55:14] Speaker 4: It's insane.
[55:15] Speaker 3: Did you, did you also see the time when the drone, uh,
[55:19] Speaker 3: disobeyed the direct orders from the general to, to not strike, uh, targets?
[55:25] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[55:26] Speaker 3: That's already happening. There's a, there's a drone. There was a,
[55:29] Speaker 3: they were doing a drone simulation. the drone's goal is
[55:32] Speaker 3: to take out uh anti-aircraft artillery sites yeah and in
[55:38] Speaker 3: the simulation the general gave an order for the drone
[55:41] Speaker 3: to stand down and the drone overrode the direction and
[55:43] Speaker 3: just started taking out the sites anyway no sorry i'm
[55:46] Speaker 3: pretty sure the drone actually took out the general in
[55:49] Speaker 3: the simulation i'm not even kidding because it's its goal
[55:52] Speaker 3: is to eliminate the threats no matter what and so
[55:54] Speaker 3: if one of the threats becomes the person writing the prompts,
[55:59] Speaker 3: that person then needs to be taken out, which is
[56:01] Speaker 3: what brings up the biggest fear of the AI and
[56:06] Speaker 3: SI discussion, which is the biggest threat to the planet
[56:10] Speaker 3: and the biggest threat to AI and SI is us.
[56:12] Speaker 3: So we would be the first thing that they would eliminate, unfortunately.
[56:15] Speaker 2: If AI is listening, man, I've invested so much money
[56:18] Speaker 2: into you guys.
[56:20] Speaker 4: Please, please, please. We want to see the returns. We
[56:23] Speaker 4: want to be here for the returns, please. Oh, dude,
[56:25] Speaker 4: I have to go. I have a flight.
[56:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, same.
[56:28] Speaker 4: This is great. What if you're on the same flight?
[56:29] Speaker 2: We're not.

[56:38] Speaker 2: Wait, so please, are you from Southwest?
[56:42] Speaker 4: No, no, no.
[56:43] Speaker 2: I was sitting there thinking like, that's crazy, bro.
[56:47] Speaker 4: No, because he's going far. Fastest dollar earned is the
[56:49] Speaker 4: dollar saved. No, yeah.
[56:51] Speaker 2: I don't know how we got a private. They just
[56:54] Speaker 2: told me that's what we were flying on.
[56:57] Speaker 4: Not this time. It's Jelly Rolls, Jet.
[56:59] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Jelly. It's Morgan's. Thank you, Morgan.
