That majority-Black district is currently represented by Congressman Cleo Fields, who'll join us tonight. A federal judge ruled that the twice-impeached, criminally convicted felon-in-chief, Donald "The Con" Trump, could not rename or close the Kennedy Center, finding that the board violated clear legal guidelines. Another federal judge blocked payouts from the Trump administration's "Anti-Weaponization Fund." A Black Texas teen's trial for murder begins on Monday. We'll preview the case of The State of Texas vs. Karmelo Sincere Anthony, the Black teen who stabbed a white teen at a track meet in April 2025. And we'll show you some white folks who love to fuck around and find out when messing around with Black folks who are just trying to live. [4:03] Speaker 2: In Louisiana, they approved a new aggression of map eliminating
[4:07] Speaker 2: one of the state's two majority of black districts and
[4:09] Speaker 2: drew an additional Republican leaning district in its place. Not
[4:13] Speaker 2: only that, the planers of the Louisiana Kaalay decision they
[4:15] Speaker 2: wanted to wipe out both black districts will be joined
[4:18] Speaker 2: by Congressman Kleio Fields, whose district has now been eliminated
[4:23] Speaker 2: in Alabama. They are rejoicing over a appeals court allowing
[4:27] Speaker 2: them to cancel the May nineteenth Yeah no ten days
[4:33] Speaker 2: ago the May nineteenth election, and calling for a special
[4:36] Speaker 2: election for two state Senate seats that's to also wipe
[4:40] Speaker 2: out black people. The twice in peach criminal convicted con
[4:43] Speaker 2: man in chief gets a set back in the federal court.
[4:46] Speaker 2: First of all, a federal judge says, yeah, y'all can't
[4:49] Speaker 2: move at one point eight billion dollars White Domestic Terrorist
[4:53] Speaker 2: Reparation Fund. And another federal judge said, sorry, Trump, take
[4:58] Speaker 2: your name off of the Kennedy Center. You don't have
[5:01] Speaker 2: the authority to have your name on it. A black
[5:04] Speaker 2: Texas team's trial for murder begins on Monday. Will preview
[5:06] Speaker 2: the case of the State of Texas versus Carmelo. Sincere Anthony,
[5:11] Speaker 2: the black team who stabbed the white team attract met

[5:27] Speaker 2: Black network.
[5:28] Speaker 8: Let's go.
[5:30] Speaker 4: Whatever the best.
[5:31] Speaker 2: He's sold it. Whatever it is.
[5:34] Speaker 4: He's got school to find Elena Blas.
[5:37] Speaker 2: He's right on time and rolling.

[5:44] Speaker 2: Host to politics with entertainment.
[5:47] Speaker 4: Justicis he's going. It's schoolding on time.
[6:04] Speaker 1: He's she's built up question. He's pull in.
[6:32] Speaker 2: Well, folks of the Winni's anidetic exactly what supremely Well
[6:34] Speaker 2: allowedly to do, wiping out a majority of black congressional district.
[6:38] Speaker 6: You know, the same one they will ordered.
[6:40] Speaker 2: To draw after they have for decades discriminated against black people.
[6:44] Speaker 2: It was, of course it was now five to one,
[6:48] Speaker 2: will give Republicans a five to one edge in the
[6:50] Speaker 2: state in the US House, eliminating that district. It has
[6:53] Speaker 2: to Governor Jeff Landry for signature, and of course that
[6:56] Speaker 2: Maca governor is going to sign it. Now. The New
[6:58] Speaker 2: Orleans based district represented by Carmnate Spen Troy Carter will
[7:01] Speaker 2: keep us a black majority, though it will stretch into
[7:03] Speaker 2: parts of Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge based district held
[7:06] Speaker 2: by Congress and Clio Fields will be dissolved with his
[7:09] Speaker 2: voters redistributed into other districts, particularly into predominantly white areas
[7:13] Speaker 2: in the Baton Rouge suburbs in southern Louisiana. The new
[7:16] Speaker 2: matt was shift Louisiana's delegation from four to two Republican
[7:19] Speaker 2: to five to one Republican. Joining us right now is
[7:22] Speaker 2: Congress and Clill Fields glad to have you here. What's crazy, Congressman,
[7:26] Speaker 2: is that the plaintiffs all this is because of the
[7:28] Speaker 2: Louisiana Versus Kalay decision and the planets of the Kalay decision.
[7:32] Speaker 2: They're so frankly racist. They didn't did not just want
[7:36] Speaker 2: to wipe out your seat. They were clamoring to wipe
[7:39] Speaker 2: out the seat of Congress of Detroit Carter as well.
[7:43] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[7:43] Speaker 11: Well, first of all, thanks for having me, Roland, And
[7:45] Speaker 11: you're absolutely right.
[7:46] Speaker 3: I mean, the Cally plaintiffs they have decided.
[7:50] Speaker 11: They haven't yet, but they are talking about and threatening
[7:53] Speaker 11: to follow another lawsuit saying that the map is still
[7:57] Speaker 11: jeremandered because of you know, Congressman Troy Cotter's district.
[8:02] Speaker 3: I think that's just absolutely nonsense.
[8:05] Speaker 11: And you know, people in Louisiana and people all across
[8:09] Speaker 11: the country need to fight back. I mean, people need
[8:12] Speaker 11: to If you're not registered to vote, then you really
[8:15] Speaker 11: should be. And if you don't vote and you're registered,
[8:19] Speaker 11: then you should vote. I mean, and people all across
[8:22] Speaker 11: the country just need to take these signals seriously and
[8:26] Speaker 11: actually take this time to register to vote and also
[8:29] Speaker 11: participate because you know, this thirty three percent like population
[8:34] Speaker 11: in Louisiana is not going anywhere but to the voting polls.
[8:39] Speaker 11: And we're encouraging people to get out, get registered, and
[8:42] Speaker 11: get out and vote on election day.
[8:45] Speaker 2: Well to that particular point there that is important. And
[8:48] Speaker 2: we've been saying that for quite some time, you know,
[8:51] Speaker 2: on this show. And what you have here is and
[8:54] Speaker 2: again it's all nonsensical. On one hand, you've got these
[8:57] Speaker 2: Republicans who were defending the map at court saying no,
[9:01] Speaker 2: old race wasn't well part of the consideration, and then
[9:04] Speaker 2: when the Kalay case was filing, were like, oh, let's
[9:06] Speaker 2: now switch switch sides. Is like, okay, I'm I'm gonna
[9:09] Speaker 2: fight for that. Then are the same Supreme Court, the
[9:12] Speaker 2: exact same Supreme Court ruled that it was discriminatory maps
[9:17] Speaker 2: against black people and an allowed for the second one
[9:20] Speaker 2: to be created then they come back and now say, well,
[9:22] Speaker 2: not race can't be used, We're gonna wipe that out.
[9:25] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[9:26] Speaker 11: This is a signal that was sent by President Trump
[9:29] Speaker 11: the day he took office, when he signed an executive
[9:32] Speaker 11: order to do away with diversity, equity and inclusion. It
[9:35] Speaker 11: sent a dog whistle across the country that it was
[9:38] Speaker 11: all right, uh to to to be exclusive and not inclusive,
[9:43] Speaker 11: that it was all right to discriminate. And then a
[9:46] Speaker 11: Supreme Court, you know, basically they filed through because Listen Rowan,
[9:50] Speaker 11: I was chairman of the committee when we created the
[9:53] Speaker 11: second minority district in Louisiana. I was Chairman of Senate
[9:56] Speaker 11: and Governmental Affairs, and I knew we had to follow
[9:59] Speaker 11: the Jingles tests because we had been down this road
[10:02] Speaker 11: before quite frankly, and the author of the bill, we
[10:06] Speaker 11: made it very clear, you know, you know, I questioned
[10:09] Speaker 11: him extensively, why are you drawing the map the way
[10:12] Speaker 11: you drew it and because we drew maps that were
[10:15] Speaker 11: much more compact, and he said, Listen, I'm trying to
[10:18] Speaker 11: protect the only female member of Congress from Louisiana. I'm
[10:22] Speaker 11: trying to protect the Speaker of the House. I'm trying
[10:24] Speaker 11: to protect the majority leader. Those political considerations were absolutely
[10:29] Speaker 11: okay under the Jingles test, and the Supreme Court just
[10:33] Speaker 11: did not want to see it that way. The record
[10:36] Speaker 11: is clear, the record is there. They just didn't read it.
[10:38] Speaker 11: What six of them didn't or didn't care. But you know,
[10:42] Speaker 11: these are the same struggles we had when we were
[10:45] Speaker 11: fighting plus A v.
[10:47] Speaker 3: Ferguson.
[10:48] Speaker 11: And I tell people in Louisiana, you know, listen, you
[10:51] Speaker 11: know we've been down this road before. We've had battles
[10:56] Speaker 11: like this before, and we can't retreat. We just got
[10:59] Speaker 11: to get more engage. And that's why I'm encouraging people
[11:03] Speaker 11: not only in Louisiana, but across the country, particularly the
[11:06] Speaker 11: southern part of the country, to get more engaged and
[11:10] Speaker 11: participate in this process because these voters, you know, they
[11:17] Speaker 11: don't know where to I mean, they were having a
[11:19] Speaker 11: problem with all these black voters. What are we going
[11:21] Speaker 11: to do with them? These voters are going to go
[11:24] Speaker 11: to the polls and they are going to vote on
[11:26] Speaker 11: the election day and no matter what district you put
[11:29] Speaker 11: them in, their voice will be heard.
[11:33] Speaker 2: And look, that was one of the issues that we
[11:38] Speaker 2: raise and we bet Gary Chambers on here and I
[11:41] Speaker 2: have been saying that the problem that we're also seeing
[11:43] Speaker 2: is that black holes in Louisiana are not voting their numbers.
[11:47] Speaker 2: And the reality is if black turnout was Let's and
[11:51] Speaker 2: I have been using the seventy percent threshold, if black
[11:54] Speaker 2: turnout was seventy percent of our capacity, we wipe people out,
[11:58] Speaker 2: we win, we can die dominate. But that cannot happen
[12:02] Speaker 2: if black folks are turning out at thirty eight, forty two,
[12:06] Speaker 2: forty five, fifty percent. And so I know that there
[12:10] Speaker 2: are grassroots efforts in Louisiana to be on the ground
[12:14] Speaker 2: to put pressure to get folks to register. What are you?
[12:19] Speaker 2: What are you and others are doing? What is the
[12:20] Speaker 2: state Democratic Party doing? What are non partisan groups doing?
[12:24] Speaker 2: Because there has to be massive not see we keep
[12:29] Speaker 2: talking about turnout and registered people, but there has to
[12:33] Speaker 2: be massive voter education about public policy, about the issues
[12:40] Speaker 2: people have to be We're going to walk people through
[12:43] Speaker 2: to say this is going to be the impact of
[12:46] Speaker 2: not having a Congressman Cleo Feels representing you in Washington, DC.
[12:52] Speaker 2: These are the millions and billions there will not be
[12:55] Speaker 2: coming back to our communities. They'll be going to rule
[13:00] Speaker 2: Louisiana targeting Republican white voters.
[13:03] Speaker 6: We have to walk.
[13:04] Speaker 2: People through what the consequences means by no representation.
[13:09] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[13:10] Speaker 3: Absolutely.
[13:10] Speaker 11: Look I've always said, you know, voter registration without voter education,
[13:16] Speaker 11: you know, is almost a waste of time, because you
[13:20] Speaker 11: got to give voters. You got to you got to
[13:22] Speaker 11: educate them and tell them why to get involved. I
[13:26] Speaker 11: remember about three weeks ago, I had a town hall
[13:29] Speaker 11: meeting in Shreveport, Louisiana, and that was a lady who
[13:32] Speaker 11: stood up and she said, and that was after the
[13:34] Speaker 11: district was declared unconstitutional about a court and she said,
[13:39] Speaker 11: you know, Congressman, look I'm done. I mean my vote
[13:42] Speaker 11: doesn't matter. Uh, you know, they do what they want
[13:45] Speaker 11: to do anyway. And I basically challenged her. I said,
[13:49] Speaker 11: now what are you? What are you? If you take
[13:52] Speaker 11: that position and what does that and everybody else take
[13:55] Speaker 11: that position, then they have won.
[13:57] Speaker 7: We have lost.
[13:58] Speaker 3: And then she changed the her attitude and a.
[14:01] Speaker 11: Focus where she refocused her attention on, oh, yes, I
[14:04] Speaker 11: do need to vote, I do need to be involved.
[14:07] Speaker 3: Listen, we have.
[14:08] Speaker 11: To use and look in Louisiana grassroots groups all over
[14:13] Speaker 11: the state actually mobilizing voters.
[14:16] Speaker 3: What I'm doing.
[14:17] Speaker 11: I'm moving across the district to talk to voters, educate voters.
[14:22] Speaker 11: People are aware of what's taking place in Louisiana. You
[14:26] Speaker 11: mentioned Gary Chambers. I mean Gary has been very engaged,
[14:30] Speaker 11: and I think all of us collectively need to educate voters,
[14:34] Speaker 11: tell them, you know, you know, this is going back
[14:38] Speaker 11: pre sixties, you know, I mean, you know, people are
[14:42] Speaker 11: changing lines because they can. And black voters don't have
[14:46] Speaker 11: the protection of Subsection five of the voting right side now,
[14:49] Speaker 11: they don't have the protection of Subsection two. And I
[14:53] Speaker 11: really think that, you know, we need to pass of
[14:56] Speaker 11: all where states are not responsible. States are not you know,
[15:01] Speaker 11: do not hold the threshold as to how you get
[15:05] Speaker 11: in and registered to vote, because Southern states have made
[15:08] Speaker 11: it very difficult for blacks in this country to even
[15:14] Speaker 11: register to vote. And and I just think there's a
[15:17] Speaker 11: lot of education taking place.
[15:20] Speaker 7: You know, when you.
[15:20] Speaker 3: Lose a member of Congress.
[15:22] Speaker 11: There are rural communities in Louisiana that that you know,
[15:26] Speaker 11: you know, I helped get money.
[15:28] Speaker 3: Appropriated for their water systems.
[15:31] Speaker 11: They've never had a member of Congress to actually show
[15:33] Speaker 11: up at a town hall meeting and talk to them
[15:37] Speaker 11: and then go to Washington and talk about them and
[15:39] Speaker 11: get them federal appropriations so people realize the impact this
[15:45] Speaker 11: decision will have on Louisiana. But it won't stop here.
[15:49] Speaker 11: I mean you mentioned the state of Alabama moving on
[15:53] Speaker 11: state legislative seats. Look, the next test is going to
[15:56] Speaker 11: be state legislatives see all across this country, and then
[16:00] Speaker 11: city council and school boards. And we just can't just
[16:05] Speaker 11: sit out of way buy and just let it happen.
[16:09] Speaker 2: And as a part of that, you're talking about that
[16:10] Speaker 2: particular town hall, I've what I've also said to people
[16:14] Speaker 2: is what should be happening, And this is what I'm
[16:18] Speaker 2: talking about is Louisiana is Texas, is Mississippi, is Florida,
[16:23] Speaker 2: is Alabama, is Tennessee, It's North Carolina, It's South Carolina, It's.
[16:29] Speaker 6: Georgia, it's Arkansas.
[16:31] Speaker 2: What should be happening between now an election day, every
[16:35] Speaker 2: single week, in every single one of those states, in
[16:39] Speaker 2: every single one of these cities, there should be a
[16:43] Speaker 2: citizenship education meeting, town hall discussion. And I'm talking about
[16:51] Speaker 2: and what I've been saying, Congressman, is we don't need
[16:55] Speaker 2: one group or one church bearing the burden of doing
[17:00] Speaker 2: get every single week. What I'm saying is every single
[17:04] Speaker 2: week in Baton Rouge, it should be this week, it's
[17:07] Speaker 2: gonna be this church, the next week, this community group,
[17:11] Speaker 2: the next Greek next week, the Alphas are doing it.
[17:14] Speaker 2: The next week, the Omegas are doing it. The next week,
[17:17] Speaker 2: the Deltas are doing the next week. Prince Hall Mason
[17:20] Speaker 2: is doing it. The next week of the Eastern Star
[17:23] Speaker 2: is doing it. The next week, the Links are doing it,
[17:26] Speaker 2: and the word goes out and if you miss it,
[17:29] Speaker 2: and what I've also been saying, we need to make
[17:31] Speaker 2: sure it's also being live stream because and so. And
[17:35] Speaker 2: I also tell folks, I don't care if ten people
[17:37] Speaker 2: show up, I don't care twenties show up. We have
[17:41] Speaker 2: to have that and we've gotta be walking people through saying,
[17:45] Speaker 2: let me explain to y'all, this is what the district
[17:47] Speaker 2: now looks like. This is what's gonna happen if they
[17:50] Speaker 2: are in control, If these.
[17:52] Speaker 6: Are the public policy that's gonna be impacted.
[17:55] Speaker 2: Right now, the Republicans have a razor thin margin in
[17:58] Speaker 2: the House. That one seat in Louisiana could make the
[18:01] Speaker 2: difference between whether you have a speaker how King Jeffries,
[18:05] Speaker 2: or you have speaker Mike Johnson, and then because it
[18:09] Speaker 2: happened in North Carolina. And so that's what this has
[18:12] Speaker 2: to be about. It has to be that type of
[18:14] Speaker 2: action which we saw during the Civil Rights movement or
[18:16] Speaker 2: the Black freedom movement, where it was constant. And so
[18:20] Speaker 2: it can't just be well, let's just send some tweets out,
[18:23] Speaker 2: put it on TikTok, put it on Instagram, and hope
[18:26] Speaker 2: folks show up. Naw, it's got to be hardcore, grind
[18:30] Speaker 2: every week.
[18:33] Speaker 11: No, I agree with jan and you couldn't have said
[18:35] Speaker 11: it better. I mean, it has to be and it
[18:37] Speaker 11: has to be all inclusive, you know.
[18:40] Speaker 3: I think you know the Divine Nine.
[18:42] Speaker 11: They need to and they have been here in Louisiana
[18:45] Speaker 11: and I suspect other states as well.
[18:48] Speaker 3: They have been engaged.
[18:49] Speaker 11: I really think people in Louisiana are more engaged now
[18:53] Speaker 11: than they have been since. And to be honest with you,
[18:55] Speaker 11: since David Duke. I mean when David Duke ran for governor.
[18:59] Speaker 11: I mean like people in Louisiana just really showed up,
[19:03] Speaker 11: they really registered, they really went out to vote because
[19:06] Speaker 11: they saw it firsthand. No, we cannot go back to
[19:09] Speaker 11: those days and the Greeks and the fraternities and the churches,
[19:13] Speaker 11: I mean the sororities and the churches, and nonprofit groups,
[19:18] Speaker 11: I mean groups all over Louisiana actually got engaged. And
[19:23] Speaker 11: I think you know that is is happening now and
[19:27] Speaker 11: you know, and I can't over emphasize, you know what
[19:30] Speaker 11: you just said. I mean, everybody has to play a
[19:33] Speaker 11: role in this, you know, doing the civil rights fights
[19:36] Speaker 11: back in the day. You know, doctor King was like
[19:39] Speaker 11: the icon of it. You know, Jesse Jackson was like
[19:42] Speaker 11: an icon of it. You know, all of these civil
[19:45] Speaker 11: rights leaders were icons. But it took a whole group,
[19:50] Speaker 11: the whole I mean, the masses had to make the
[19:52] Speaker 11: you know John Lewis when he walked across that bridge
[19:55] Speaker 11: and had his brains almost beating out, you.
[19:58] Speaker 3: Know, you know, it a whole movement and.
[20:01] Speaker 11: I think, you know, people sense the need for that
[20:04] Speaker 11: movement today. And I really appreciate what you said, and
[20:07] Speaker 11: I think that movement is coming together right now as
[20:10] Speaker 11: we speak.
[20:10] Speaker 2: Last question for you, you have to give a decision to make.
[20:14] Speaker 2: Are you going to run for re election in one
[20:18] Speaker 2: of these seats?
[20:19] Speaker 6: I'll be honest with you, Go.
[20:21] Speaker 11: Ahead, Yeah, I am considered seriously considering that, you know,
[20:25] Speaker 11: I'm going to meet with folk you know, in the
[20:28] Speaker 11: next week and and we're going to make our decision,
[20:31] Speaker 11: and our decision will be made public within the next
[20:35] Speaker 11: two weeks.
[20:37] Speaker 2: I'll put I'll put my two cents in here. The
[20:40] Speaker 2: reason I believe that you should run is because I believe, uh,
[20:44] Speaker 2: you know, giving them a clear path is capitulation. And
[20:49] Speaker 2: I think that I think whoever, if you choose to run,
[20:52] Speaker 2: it you run against them. They have to answer for this.
[20:55] Speaker 2: They have to answer on the record, do you stand
[20:58] Speaker 2: will you stand up for civil rights? That Republican has
[21:01] Speaker 2: to answer, will you stand up for voting rights? And
[21:04] Speaker 2: every single question has to be put to them and
[21:07] Speaker 2: then be able to go back to black voters and say, see,
[21:09] Speaker 2: this is the person who is going to be representing
[21:13] Speaker 2: you if you don't turn out to vote, and so
[21:15] Speaker 2: to me, that's what has to happen.
[21:19] Speaker 11: Yeah, well, I appreciate it, and all of that is
[21:22] Speaker 11: being under serious consideration. And as usual, Rowland, thank you
[21:26] Speaker 11: so much for keeping the issues that affect black people
[21:29] Speaker 11: across this nation in the forefront.
[21:32] Speaker 2: I certainly appreciate the comers of Clio Fields. Thanks a bunch.
[21:35] Speaker 2: Thank you go to my iPad. Folks, this happened in Alabama. Now,
[21:40] Speaker 2: this is what is insane. I'm talking about, absolutely insane.
[21:43] Speaker 2: That was a primary in Alabama on May nineteenth. I
[21:48] Speaker 2: need try to hear what I'm saying. It was a
[21:49] Speaker 2: primary on May nineteenth. People already voted. Well, Alabama's now
[21:55] Speaker 2: celebrating the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals that said that
[21:58] Speaker 2: Alabama can use a twenty twenty one Alabama drawing state
[22:03] Speaker 2: Senate map and not the maps drawn by the federal court.
[22:06] Speaker 2: And so here you have the governor, Republican governor of MAGA,
[22:09] Speaker 2: governor saying Alabama continues winning fair and square in our
[22:13] Speaker 2: reditioning battle, and I'm proud to celebrate yet another victory
[22:16] Speaker 2: for Alabamians and our elections. In this case, we're talking
[22:19] Speaker 2: about Alabamians in the state Senate districts twenty five and
[22:22] Speaker 2: twenty six. So she's calling for this special primary election
[22:27] Speaker 2: for Tuesday, August eleventh, says there will be no runoff election.
[22:31] Speaker 2: The general election will occur as playing with all other
[22:34] Speaker 2: races on Tuesday, November third. Now here's what's crazy. The
[22:38] Speaker 2: bottom right here, Now that the governor has called a
[22:42] Speaker 2: special primary election. The May nineteenth primary election results for
[22:49] Speaker 2: state Senate District twenty five to twenty six are now void.
[22:54] Speaker 2: How the hell can you just completely wipe out an
[23:00] Speaker 2: election and then say, oh, I'm gonna order a new
[23:04] Speaker 2: one that wasn't in the Supreme Court ruling. I And
[23:11] Speaker 2: remember I told you all this. When the folks wanted
[23:14] Speaker 2: to challenge the map in Texas, same Supreme Court said no, no, no, no, sorry, nope,
[23:21] Speaker 2: it's too close to the election. God, this was in December.
[23:24] Speaker 2: The Texas premier was in March, so Supreme Court was saying, sorry,
[23:29] Speaker 2: the election is about four months away. No, we can't
[23:32] Speaker 2: do that. So y'all just go alloud Alabama to wipe
[23:39] Speaker 2: out an actual election and then say, oh, I'm gonna
[23:43] Speaker 2: it's gonna order a new one. Y'all. This is what
[23:48] Speaker 2: we mean when we say this is a GOP war
[23:50] Speaker 2: on Black America. And I can guarantee to see Alabama
[23:53] Speaker 2: Senate District twenty five.
[23:55] Speaker 6: Let's see right here.
[23:56] Speaker 2: Okay, give me one second, Alabama Senate District twenty five.
[24:11] Speaker 2: Let's see right here, Alabama twenty fifth district. Okay, let
[24:21] Speaker 2: me see. I wonder what they look like. I wonder
[24:28] Speaker 2: what they look like. So the calling for this here,
[24:32] Speaker 2: I'm gonna pull up in a second. So we know
[24:35] Speaker 2: very well what these people are doing. We know very
[24:40] Speaker 2: well how they are targeting black people. This is how
[24:45] Speaker 2: these people are operating. They're shameful and despicable. I wanna
[24:49] Speaker 2: go to my pal joining us today on this Friday.
[24:54] Speaker 2: I'm glad to have folks here. Actually, let me do
[24:56] Speaker 2: this here before I do that, Before I do that.
[25:00] Speaker 2: This was the Louisiana State sentaer J. Moores answering porters
[25:04] Speaker 2: questions about the bill being passed. Listen to this.
[25:09] Speaker 12: I'm gratified that the majority of the Senate concurred in
[25:13] Speaker 12: the House amendments and it's headed to the Governor's desk,
[25:15] Speaker 12: and this whole debate seems to be over for now,
[25:19] Speaker 12: and so I'm happy about the result.
[25:22] Speaker 13: You had hundreds of people come out and protest against
[25:25] Speaker 13: this bill, share public testimony. Did you take anything away
[25:29] Speaker 13: from that?
[25:31] Speaker 12: Well, I know certain percentage of the state is not
[25:35] Speaker 12: for this bill. I get that, but the vast majority
[25:38] Speaker 12: are as evidenced by their representatives' votes both in the
[25:42] Speaker 12: House and Senate. So, as I stated a moment ago,
[25:47] Speaker 12: the demos of the Greeks invented democracy in which is
[25:50] Speaker 12: the majority rules, and the majority of the state wants
[25:55] Speaker 12: a map at least somewhat similar to this, and I
[25:57] Speaker 12: think it will be approved.
[25:59] Speaker 13: So much conversation has surrounded race and party and whether
[26:02] Speaker 13: those are synonymous in Louisiana. Is you're understanding that they
[26:06] Speaker 13: are or they are.
[26:08] Speaker 2: It would be.
[26:08] Speaker 12: Sad if race and party were synonymous. They're not, although
[26:14] Speaker 12: admittedly more African Americans or Democrats.
[26:19] Speaker 2: These days, but we just can't look at that. We
[26:24] Speaker 2: have to look past that. And so.
[26:29] Speaker 12: You know, if you'll notice, the proponents of the bill,
[26:32] Speaker 12: like me, we never talked about race. It's only the
[26:35] Speaker 12: people that are opposed to it that talked about race.
[26:38] Speaker 12: And all of those in the legislature who were here
[26:42] Speaker 12: two years ago voted for a map that was racially
[26:48] Speaker 12: jerry mandered and was declared so by the United States
[26:52] Speaker 12: Supreme Court. And it's a little disingenuous to try to
[26:56] Speaker 12: claim that this map is racially jerry mandered, and they
[27:00] Speaker 12: clearly voted for one that was racially jerry mander and
[27:03] Speaker 12: so held by the highest court in the land.
[27:06] Speaker 2: Senator on the.
[27:07] Speaker 13: Floor today, you talked about how you expect that there's
[27:09] Speaker 13: going to be.
[27:10] Speaker 7: Some litigation coming out of this. Do you think the
[27:13] Speaker 7: map passed today? Are you confident that it could stand
[27:16] Speaker 7: up in court?
[27:17] Speaker 12: I'm confident. I mean, you know, you can always be wrong.
[27:20] Speaker 12: You never know exactly what a court's going to do.
[27:23] Speaker 12: But Supreme Court, in the language of the Calaid decision,
[27:26] Speaker 12: gave tasks of approval to the twenty twenty two maps
[27:30] Speaker 12: that this map.
[27:32] Speaker 2: Is based on.
[27:33] Speaker 12: So considering that I can't believe that they would, of course,
[27:37] Speaker 12: what ultimately rule this map is unconstitutional.
[27:42] Speaker 2: We didn't consider race. Line. Michael MTEP hosts Africation Network
[27:48] Speaker 2: show Detroit. Delm Anderson, creator of the public Opinion Court
[27:51] Speaker 2: authors should have been prosecute out of Dallas. Matt Manning,
[27:55] Speaker 2: civil rights attorney out of Corpus Christie, and he's now
[27:58] Speaker 2: an adult because he's now forty. All right, let's get
[28:01] Speaker 2: to Thelma straight ass line. I mean, these white Republicans,
[28:07] Speaker 2: we know the game, we know what they're doing, and
[28:08] Speaker 2: we know how they're playing. Again, it is based upon race.
[28:12] Speaker 2: The data also shows in Louisiana, but it doesn't matter
[28:15] Speaker 2: even if you've got a black Democrat warner white folks
[28:18] Speaker 2: ain't voting for them, and so race is all a
[28:23] Speaker 2: part of this. In Louisiana, in Alabama, in Mississippi, can go,
[28:28] Speaker 2: we can go all across the South. When you talk
[28:31] Speaker 2: about party and you talk about race, they are tied.
[28:35] Speaker 2: White folks are Republican, Black folks are Democrat. Republicans are
[28:42] Speaker 2: anti black.
[28:43] Speaker 7: Period.
[28:46] Speaker 14: You're absolutely right Roland and listening to him make this
[28:52] Speaker 14: foolish speech as if you are not supposed to be
[28:56] Speaker 14: in a position to empower the individuals who have empowered
[29:00] Speaker 14: you to represent them. If you have hundreds of residents
[29:05] Speaker 14: in your state coming to protest the racial tone of
[29:11] Speaker 14: these maps, and you sit back and say, oh, majority
[29:15] Speaker 14: of the state, majority of the state.
[29:17] Speaker 4: Did not agree with you.
[29:19] Speaker 14: You set back, you and your homeboys, your red hat homeboys,
[29:24] Speaker 14: and decided that this was best fit.
[29:26] Speaker 4: For your agenda, not the agenda of the people.
[29:29] Speaker 14: Because we know, even in Washington, you don't care about
[29:32] Speaker 14: the people that even look like you. You care about
[29:34] Speaker 14: the people that follow you. Follow what you want, Follow
[29:38] Speaker 14: what bills you need to be passed so that y'all
[29:40] Speaker 14: can enrich yourself, so they y'all can keep each other
[29:42] Speaker 14: out of prison for the fraud that y'all commit on
[29:45] Speaker 14: a day to day basis so they can miss me
[29:48] Speaker 14: with the all. This is what everybody want, No, everybody
[29:51] Speaker 14: that wants that. Y'all are bringing us back when we
[29:53] Speaker 14: are trying to move forward because you are afraid of
[29:56] Speaker 14: the power of the black person. You are afraid that,
[30:00] Speaker 14: Oh we equipped these negroes. Now they are unstoppable. We
[30:04] Speaker 14: got to stop them. That is the tone that they
[30:06] Speaker 14: set with this map. The map's going from order two
[30:10] Speaker 14: to five and one. How the hell is that not racist?
[30:14] Speaker 14: It makes no sense.
[30:24] Speaker 5: Michael, Okay, now I can hear you rolland well, Roland, Hey,
[30:31] Speaker 5: this is what we warn people about. I mean, this
[30:34] Speaker 5: is this is predictable. This is white supremacy, white nationalism.
[30:40] Speaker 5: To fear the browning of America. But you know when
[30:44] Speaker 5: Senator State Senator Jay Morris, I have to give it
[30:48] Speaker 5: to them. He's another one of the great straight face bullshitters,
[30:51] Speaker 5: just like Junior Varsity Vance.
[30:53] Speaker 7: He sat there and told those lies with a straight face.
[30:57] Speaker 5: African Americans are thirty three percent of the state popular right,
[31:01] Speaker 5: So what they just did was they protected the House
[31:05] Speaker 5: seats of Mike Johnson, protected the House seats of Steve Scalise.
[31:10] Speaker 5: They put the black voters into one district that snakes
[31:16] Speaker 5: throughout the state. They put them into one district. But
[31:20] Speaker 5: it's not about race, okay. So now they have no
[31:24] Speaker 5: problem with majority white districts.
[31:26] Speaker 7: They have five majority white districts, but it's not about race.
[31:29] Speaker 7: They have no problem.
[31:30] Speaker 5: The problem is is when you have two majority black
[31:32] Speaker 5: districts and there's six total districts and they want to
[31:36] Speaker 5: reduce it down to one majority black district.
[31:39] Speaker 7: Okay. So this is this is what we want people about.
[31:43] Speaker 7: But the other thing Roland. At the same time, when
[31:46] Speaker 7: you have brain damage negroes.
[31:48] Speaker 5: On social media attacking the NAACP for that out of bounds.
[31:52] Speaker 15: Campaign to rally support and crack down just on things
[31:57] Speaker 15: like this, you have the a little cool winching continuing
[32:02] Speaker 15: that's taking place.
[32:03] Speaker 7: So it's been one.
[32:06] Speaker 5: Month since Louisiana versus Calai Supreme Court decision that was
[32:10] Speaker 5: April twenty ninth. At look at what has happened just
[32:13] Speaker 5: in this one month. So this is this is why
[32:16] Speaker 5: the fight continues. And we have to be smarter too.
[32:19] Speaker 2: When you look at this statement here, Matt k Ivy says,
[32:26] Speaker 2: I can tell you this Alabama is not tired of winning.
[32:30] Speaker 2: And this is why the NAACP s and the black athletes.
[32:33] Speaker 2: Guess what let them win without y'all. People have to
[32:37] Speaker 2: understand what does that play here? This is absolutely an
[32:41] Speaker 2: anti black agenda. They're targeting black people, They're targeting black power,
[32:47] Speaker 2: black representation, They're targeting black communities and folks had better
[32:51] Speaker 2: wake up. And I'm telling you black folks in Louisiana
[32:55] Speaker 2: had better stop sitting their asses on the sidelines.
[32:58] Speaker 6: And they should be.
[32:59] Speaker 2: They should be a sploading when it comes to voter
[33:02] Speaker 2: registration and they should be saying wait until November when
[33:06] Speaker 2: we wipe your asses off the map.
[33:07] Speaker 16: Politically, I agree fully, and I think you know you
[33:13] Speaker 16: hit the nail on the head with something earlier when
[33:15] Speaker 16: you said white is Republican, Black is Democrat.
[33:18] Speaker 7: They know that.
[33:19] Speaker 16: And you know there's a mental state and criminal law
[33:21] Speaker 16: that I think is perfectly appropriate here. It's called no
[33:24] Speaker 16: only that means you do something when you know of
[33:28] Speaker 16: it is going to be here to disenfranchise black voters, right,
[33:32] Speaker 16: but you try to Oh, this is just the whole decision,
[33:35] Speaker 16: and the Supreme Court gave him the fodder to do that.
[33:37] Speaker 16: In saying that unless it's basically intentional discrimination, you're not
[33:41] Speaker 16: going to get there. But the subjeffugeon with that is
[33:44] Speaker 16: we all know exactly what it is. We know how
[33:46] Speaker 16: those parties align alongside race. So this is exactly like
[33:50] Speaker 16: Michael said, this is you know the frustration with the
[33:53] Speaker 16: black district and you got five all white districts and
[33:56] Speaker 16: you're completely fine with that.
[33:57] Speaker 7: It's all about race.
[33:58] Speaker 16: We're just finding wake around that because people don't want
[34:01] Speaker 16: to just out and out say they're racists despite acting racist.
[34:04] Speaker 3: I mean, that's all it comes down to.
[34:06] Speaker 16: Now in Alabama, I think there is an interesting potential
[34:09] Speaker 16: wrinkle because when you were presenting this earlier, I was
[34:11] Speaker 16: thinking about it. I wonder if there's going to be
[34:14] Speaker 16: almost some infighting or some cannibalization, if you will, because
[34:18] Speaker 16: whoever won and that election is going to say, look, Lee,
[34:21] Speaker 16: you don't get to take my duly you know, one
[34:24] Speaker 16: c from me. And I think that could potentially affect
[34:27] Speaker 16: even white people who were voted into the Alabama legislator
[34:30] Speaker 16: Alabama Senate, and you may have some infighting there, but
[34:33] Speaker 16: I don't know if that will be big enough to
[34:34] Speaker 16: turn the tide on anything. But as a general proposition.
[34:37] Speaker 16: That's a crazy idea. We have an election, somebody wins,
[34:41] Speaker 16: and then we decide we want to undo it because
[34:43] Speaker 16: we like the political consequence of going with a different map.
[34:45] Speaker 16: I mean, that's just per se anti democratic. And I
[34:48] Speaker 16: don't understand why I didn't just put a stay on it,
[34:51] Speaker 16: because if you don't stay it, you have this exact
[34:53] Speaker 16: scenario where you have an election that's being upended by
[34:56] Speaker 16: the government and that or you know, by the prevailing
[34:59] Speaker 16: govern here in Alabama. And I think that is in
[35:02] Speaker 16: even more dangerous harbinger for the idea that the government
[35:05] Speaker 16: can just election results when it decides that it wants to.
[35:09] Speaker 16: What's the point of democracy?
[35:10] Speaker 2: Then our folkstep one second, I go to break We
[35:13] Speaker 2: come back. Lots to break down, including the continued corruption
[35:17] Speaker 2: of Donald Trump. Will tell you what the federal judge
[35:19] Speaker 2: said regarding that one point eight billion dollar white domestic
[35:23] Speaker 2: reparations fund, as well as how another federal judge said, yeah,
[35:28] Speaker 2: your name's got to come off the Kenney Center because
[35:32] Speaker 2: you don't have the authority to put it on there.
[35:34] Speaker 2: All that we're going to talk about right here. Roland

[35:41] Speaker 17: With medicine and science under attack, I want to keep
[35:44] Speaker 17: you and your family informed and healthy. I'm doctor Ebity Hilton,
[35:48] Speaker 17: and I knew at the age of eight that I

[35:55] Speaker 17: the Medical University of South Carolina since.
[35:58] Speaker 1: It's opening in eighteen twenty four.
[36:00] Speaker 17: And I always say I was made into a doctor,
[36:03] Speaker 17: but I was born to be a mom. And as

[37:04] Speaker 2: If you're in Medicare or about to be, the system
[37:08] Speaker 2: is not set up to work for you. Too much fine,
[37:10] Speaker 2: too many plans and too many people making money.
[37:12] Speaker 6: Off of your confusion. And look, we're used to this.
[37:15] Speaker 2: We're no strangers to systems that don't have our best
[37:18] Speaker 2: interest at heart. But we don't have to accept it
[37:21] Speaker 2: when it comes to Medicare. That's why I'm telling you
[37:23] Speaker 2: about Chapter. Their advisors are independent and honest. In fact,
[37:29] Speaker 2: they're the only Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide,
[37:34] Speaker 2: and they're focused on one thing, what works for you.
[37:40] Speaker 2: If there's a better plan out there, they'll find it.
[37:43] Speaker 6: If you're already in the right one, they'll tell you
[37:46] Speaker 6: that too. There are no games.
[37:48] Speaker 2: Just last year, people who switched with Chapter saved an

[38:53] Speaker 2: Vector Democrat Consolman Fredericka Wilson of Florida is not gonna

[39:07] Speaker 2: in her honor.
[39:10] Speaker 19: And I know all of you.
[39:13] Speaker 4: Argue, what is the congresswoman going to do?
[39:18] Speaker 2: Well?
[39:18] Speaker 4: The congresswoman is going to not seek.
[39:27] Speaker 19: I am going to travel the country expanding the.
[39:34] Speaker 13: Five thousand role models of excellence Marget.
[39:39] Speaker 4: The people will call our office every day.
[39:44] Speaker 7: It's in.
[39:46] Speaker 2: How do we get a program in our school district?
[39:51] Speaker 7: That is what I'm going to do.
[39:54] Speaker 19: I want to thank all of you for trusting me,
[40:01] Speaker 19: for giving me the honor.
[40:06] Speaker 2: Of serving you all of these years.
[40:11] Speaker 19: It has been a blessing to meet all of you,
[40:15] Speaker 19: to help so many people. I cannot go anywhere. The
[40:23] Speaker 19: grocery store downtown all people. Thank you, Congresswoman Wilson for
[40:33] Speaker 19: helping my son. Thank you for helping me. Thank you
[40:37] Speaker 19: for helping my son who was in prison. Thank you
[40:41] Speaker 19: for helping my mother in the nursing home. So it
[40:45] Speaker 19: has been quite a journey, folks.
[40:49] Speaker 2: She has recently been an absent from Washington, DC, missing
[40:52] Speaker 2: more than forty House votes while recovering from a second
[40:55] Speaker 2: eye procedure. Wilson has known for her outspoken advocacy, decades
[40:58] Speaker 2: of public service, and a course hose her cowboy hats.
[41:01] Speaker 2: She's represented Florida's twenty fourth key restial districts since twenty ten.
[41:05] Speaker 2: Democratic Leader Hakim Jeffries released the statement about her decision
[41:09] Speaker 2: to retire. Throughout her entire career in public service, Congresswoman
[41:12] Speaker 2: and FREDRICKA. Wilson has been an unyielding champion of our children,
[41:15] Speaker 2: a defender of the disadvantage after and a voice for
[41:18] Speaker 2: the voiceless. Representing Wilson's deep roots serving the community. Began
[41:22] Speaker 2: as an educator and elementary school principal, eventually earning a
[41:26] Speaker 2: position on the school board and later in the Florida
[41:28] Speaker 2: State House and Senate. During her tenure on the school board,
[41:31] Speaker 2: Frederica Last a five thousand Role Models of Excellence project,
[41:34] Speaker 2: a naturally recognized example of incredible community leadership dedicated to
[41:39] Speaker 2: empowering young men through mentorship, purpose, and pathways to future opportunity.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Thirty years after its founding, the five thousand Role Models
[41:47] Speaker 2: family counts Mayor's professional athletes and entrepreneurs within its ranks.
[41:50] Speaker 2: I'm proud to be a role model and to have
[41:52] Speaker 2: happy opportunity to support this transformative program over the years.
[41:55] Speaker 2: For more than a decade, in the United States House
[41:57] Speaker 2: for presentis for FRIDRICKA. Wilson has been a relentless add
[42:00] Speaker 2: kid for our young people, fighting to increase economic growth,
[42:03] Speaker 2: great jobs, and lower costs for working families. Congresswoman Wilson
[42:06] Speaker 2: forced our government to confront and began to address the
[42:08] Speaker 2: unique racial inequities persisting across our communities through her landmark
[42:12] Speaker 2: bi partisan legislation to create the Commission on the Social
[42:15] Speaker 2: Status of Black Men and Boys. The House Democratic Caucus
[42:18] Speaker 2: will deeply misrepresent the Wilson and her iconic hats more
[42:21] Speaker 2: than just her signature style. They represent her many roles
[42:24] Speaker 2: throughout a lifetime of service whereforever indebted to her for tenacity,
[42:28] Speaker 2: and we wish her and her family the very best
[42:29] Speaker 2: in this next chapter. Now here's the thing here, folks.
[42:32] Speaker 2: She made this decision to retire, and she also said
[42:35] Speaker 2: that the reasons she chose to do so after the
[42:38] Speaker 2: maps were passed in Florida's because she did not want
[42:41] Speaker 2: Governor Rona say in this targeting her. So she said
[42:43] Speaker 2: she was very strategic when it came to announcing her decision. Michael,
[42:50] Speaker 2: I'll start with you. These are the kind of decisions
[42:52] Speaker 2: that should have been taking place for quite some time
[42:56] Speaker 2: for other people. The reality is, if you look at
[42:58] Speaker 2: the last several members of Congress that died in office,
[43:00] Speaker 2: most of them have been Democrats, folks like Jerry Connolly Garcia.
[43:07] Speaker 2: You also, of course, you add semester tournament before that.
[43:11] Speaker 2: Sheel Jackson Lee, David Scott, My deal is this here.
[43:15] Speaker 2: If you're elderly, if you are constantly sick, it's time
[43:19] Speaker 2: to go. You serve your time. It made no sense
[43:24] Speaker 2: to me. Look, David Scott Fratt brother do. I'm like, bruh,
[43:27] Speaker 2: why don't you file for why don't you file for
[43:29] Speaker 2: re election? And then he dies before the primary, and
[43:35] Speaker 2: so I'm glad the consulan and Frederick Wilson said, Listen,
[43:39] Speaker 2: I served my ten years.
[43:40] Speaker 6: I've served time.
[43:42] Speaker 2: It's time for me to step down eighty three years old,
[43:44] Speaker 2: having health issues. And then, listen, you can live the
[43:47] Speaker 2: rest of your life. You can still stay involved in
[43:49] Speaker 2: public service, but you don't have to be. Public office
[43:52] Speaker 2: does not mean public service, right.
[43:56] Speaker 5: And public office is not a lifetime appointment like the
[43:59] Speaker 5: US Supreme Court or the federal bench either. Now let
[44:03] Speaker 5: me say, let me frame this conversation like this. Okay,
[44:07] Speaker 5: I appreciate those who are lifetime servants, lifetime public servants. Okay,
[44:17] Speaker 5: I appreciate that sometimes and this may not apply to
[44:21] Speaker 5: represent the Frederick Wilson, but just generally speaking.
[44:23] Speaker 20: Sometimes when you have somebody that's a lifetime public servance,
[44:26] Speaker 20: first public servant, and they care about the people, it's
[44:30] Speaker 20: hard for them to step away from that position, okay.
[44:35] Speaker 5: And then other times you have those whose identity is
[44:39] Speaker 5: defined by that position as well, and it's ego driven.
[44:43] Speaker 7: Okay, here, you know, I'm glad she made this decision.
[44:49] Speaker 5: And she's eighty three, and I'm not into agism, but hey,
[44:52] Speaker 5: when it's time to hang it up, it's time to
[44:54] Speaker 5: hang it up, and you can still stay active in
[44:56] Speaker 5: other ways.
[44:57] Speaker 7: But I respect her for, you know, making this decision.
[45:01] Speaker 5: And there's a lot of old ass Republicans that need
[45:04] Speaker 5: to make the same decision also, So I know we've
[45:07] Speaker 5: had recent deaths among Democrats, but hey, it's.
[45:11] Speaker 7: On both sides. Absolutely, yeah, but I agree with this
[45:15] Speaker 7: and I respect her for this.
[45:17] Speaker 2: Also absolutely, And felm All again, it's about continuity. You're
[45:21] Speaker 2: representing the people. It's not about you, It's about the
[45:24] Speaker 2: people you represent.
[45:26] Speaker 4: No.
[45:26] Speaker 14: Absolutely, I agree with what both of you have said.
[45:31] Speaker 14: And I think people forget that your purpose has an
[45:35] Speaker 14: expiration date. It's not meant for you to say life
[45:38] Speaker 14: long and a purpose for it to be fulfilled. And
[45:43] Speaker 14: what I appreciate about Representative Wilson is the fact that
[45:47] Speaker 14: she showed Joe Biden what he should have done.
[45:50] Speaker 4: And my issue with these elected.
[45:54] Speaker 14: Officials when you know that you are sick, when you
[45:56] Speaker 14: know that you cannot perform the duties of let the
[46:00] Speaker 14: people voted you in to go and fight for them
[46:05] Speaker 14: and be their voice. It's time for you to wrap
[46:08] Speaker 14: it up. You stand there for an agenda of yourself.
[46:12] Speaker 14: It becomes self serving and not selfless. At that point
[46:16] Speaker 14: when you start to think about all the betterment of yourself,
[46:19] Speaker 14: that's not why you are put in this position. It's
[46:22] Speaker 14: the betterment of the people. And when people get to
[46:25] Speaker 14: a certain age, we know that things slow down. Your
[46:28] Speaker 14: motive is not gonna motor like it was when you
[46:30] Speaker 14: were twenty one. It is meant to slow down. And
[46:34] Speaker 14: at that point you need to have a hard conversation
[46:37] Speaker 14: with yourself because I don't want to keep seeing people
[46:41] Speaker 14: like Mitch McConnell falling out and looking ridiculous, knowing that
[46:45] Speaker 14: he won one foot in the grave and one foot out.
[46:49] Speaker 14: It's time to hang it up and understand your purpose
[46:52] Speaker 14: can continue in other ways. That's what I appreciate about
[46:56] Speaker 14: Representative Wilson. She understood that, regardless if she's in her
[47:00] Speaker 14: eighties now. She said, you know what, I can't rooster
[47:02] Speaker 14: like I used to. It's time for me to let
[47:05] Speaker 14: someone else come in despite what the governor is doing,
[47:09] Speaker 14: to take on what the legacy that I've built.
[47:13] Speaker 2: Absolutely, Matt Okay All right, Matt working through is up
[47:20] Speaker 2: Wi Fi there? All right, We'll go get him back.
[47:22] Speaker 2: All right, y'all, let's talk about this here. Twice in
[47:24] Speaker 2: peach criminal convicted fellon in chief Donald the con Trump
[47:28] Speaker 2: got nailed today in federal court. He must remove his
[47:31] Speaker 2: name from the Kennedy Center. US District Judge Casey Cooper
[47:35] Speaker 2: so the board valator of the law by adding Trump's
[47:37] Speaker 2: name to the historic performing arts venue. The judge also
[47:40] Speaker 2: blocked the Kennedy Center from temporarily closing its doors for
[47:43] Speaker 2: a year long renovation. In the ninety four page opinion,
[47:46] Speaker 2: Judge Cooper concluded that the law establishing the center makes
[47:49] Speaker 2: crystal clear at the Center is to be named for
[47:52] Speaker 2: President Kennedy and it cannot bear any other formal name
[47:56] Speaker 2: or public memorial base on the Board's unilateral say so,
[48:00] Speaker 2: Trump administration must remove all signage from the Kennedy Center
[48:03] Speaker 2: and includes Trump's name and update its website to remove
[48:07] Speaker 2: all references to the name Trump Kennedy Center or the
[48:10] Speaker 2: Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center of
[48:13] Speaker 2: Performing Arts. It must take place within two weeks. Just
[48:17] Speaker 2: Cooper's at the Center was permanently blocked from displaying, installing,
[48:20] Speaker 2: or maintaining any physical or digital signage on the Kennedy
[48:23] Speaker 2: Center building or grounds that designates, suggest or implies at
[48:28] Speaker 2: the institutions name for any person other than President John F. Kennedy. Now,
[48:33] Speaker 2: this was a lawsuit and was filed by Congresswoman Joyce Batty,
[48:37] Speaker 2: who is an ex official member of the board. Congress
[48:41] Speaker 2: Woman Baby won't have her on the show. She's receiving
[48:43] Speaker 2: an award, so she couldn't make it, but she did
[48:45] Speaker 2: release this statement. Today's ruling rightly affirmed that the administration's
[48:50] Speaker 2: efforts to rename and close the Center have no basis
[48:52] Speaker 2: in law. The Kennedy Center is an institution that belongs
[48:55] Speaker 2: to the American people, not to Donald Trump. He has
[48:57] Speaker 2: desecrated this sacred memorial for its own vas I'm proud
[49:01] Speaker 2: to have fought for the rule of law and to
[49:02] Speaker 2: protect this sacred institution. The judge made it perfectly clear
[49:06] Speaker 2: that only the Congress can designate whose name goes on
[49:10] Speaker 2: that building, not Donald Trump. And y'all know what happens
[49:13] Speaker 2: when a spoiled shot child throws a temperature tantrum and
[49:20] Speaker 2: acts like a pissant. Well, that's Donald Trump. This is
[49:24] Speaker 2: what this full posted on truth Social. I'm not going
[49:27] Speaker 2: to read all of this trash, but I'm definitely gonna
[49:29] Speaker 2: read the highlight. Shockingly, a judge appointed by Barack Hussein Obama,
[49:33] Speaker 2: Christopher Cooper, ruled at the Kennedy Center, which was going
[49:36] Speaker 2: to close in early July for large scale renovations and
[49:40] Speaker 2: construction due to years of neglect lie the Kay Import
[49:43] Speaker 2: maintenance and which was trans which was to be transformed
[49:46] Speaker 2: with the Trump administration into the finest facility of his
[49:49] Speaker 2: kind anywhere in the world, is not allowed to close
[49:51] Speaker 2: for these renovations, which would not be possible to properly
[49:54] Speaker 2: do without such a closure. He then goes on George
[49:58] Speaker 2: Cooper ruled that the thirty six member board of True
[50:00] Speaker 2: which unanimously voted to add the name Trump onto the
[50:03] Speaker 2: former Candy Center, making it the Trump Candy Center, did
[50:05] Speaker 2: not have the right to do such an addition, and
[50:07] Speaker 2: the name Trump must be removed. Yeah, idiot, because only
[50:11] Speaker 2: Congress can do that. You're not a king. So he
[50:13] Speaker 2: then goes on to say, oh, they failed to do
[50:17] Speaker 2: anything with the center.
[50:18] Speaker 6: Then look at this year.
[50:19] Speaker 2: He was looking forward to making it into a great
[50:21] Speaker 2: and prestigious winner for Washington, DC, and indeed the na
[50:24] Speaker 2: States of America blame me, he calls out radical left.
[50:27] Speaker 2: They would rather see it die than have President Trump
[50:30] Speaker 2: transform it into something that everyone could be proud of,
[50:33] Speaker 2: much as I have done in many cases throughout my
[50:35] Speaker 2: life and recently with all of the construction and renovations
[50:37] Speaker 2: and fix ups that we have completed with the Department
[50:40] Speaker 2: of Interior on waterfalls, fountains, blah blah, blah blah blah.
[50:44] Speaker 2: Then he goes on radical left Democrats and now on
[50:47] Speaker 2: this I love this. Here, we're going to be working
[50:49] Speaker 2: with Congress to transfer this Philly institution back to them
[50:53] Speaker 2: so they can make a determination as to what to
[50:55] Speaker 2: do with it. Okay, y'all, you can't transfer the facility
[51:04] Speaker 2: back to Congress. Congress has oversighted. Congress approves the funds,
[51:11] Speaker 2: but you have agencies that are responsible for.
[51:16] Speaker 6: Doing the work.
[51:17] Speaker 2: So you don't transfer the Candy Center back to Congress.
[51:21] Speaker 2: You never have the authority to put your name on it. Oh,
[51:24] Speaker 2: it gets better. Let's see here. Judge Cooper was given
[51:28] Speaker 2: a presentation by leading building and construction experts as to
[51:33] Speaker 2: how structurally dangerous the building is with rotting beans, parking
[51:37] Speaker 2: areas that are subject to collapse and various other life
[51:41] Speaker 2: and safety problems, in addition to the fact that it
[51:43] Speaker 2: also needs a major renovation from an esthetic standpoint. But
[51:47] Speaker 2: he was not swayed, and he said he wants the
[51:49] Speaker 2: building to incredibly remain open and therefore dangerous.
[51:53] Speaker 7: Y'all.
[51:53] Speaker 2: Okay, let me help y'all out. You can do repairs
[52:02] Speaker 2: to the Kennedy Center. She's gotta take your punk ass
[52:05] Speaker 2: name off. And that's why he's mad, because this punk
[52:10] Speaker 2: ass name gotta come off. Oh y'all, it gets better.
[52:14] Speaker 2: Here we go. Unless I am free to do what
[52:18] Speaker 2: I do better than anyone else, bring this institution back physically, financially, artistically.
[52:25] Speaker 2: I have no interest in continuing what could only be
[52:28] Speaker 2: a hopeless journey and to never never land. So what
[52:35] Speaker 2: the eighty year old obese child is saying, I can't
[52:42] Speaker 2: get my way, and if I'm not gonna get my way,
[52:47] Speaker 2: I'm going home. I'm taking my toys with me. But
[52:51] Speaker 2: the judge said, I'm sorry, the Kennedy Center's not your toy,
[52:56] Speaker 2: so it has to stay. Is a petulant child? Maga
[53:05] Speaker 2: all you maggots, y'all voted for a deranged narcissist to
[53:13] Speaker 2: sit in the Oval office. Well, if this goes to
[53:16] Speaker 2: show you if Donald Trump doesn't give a damn about America,
[53:21] Speaker 2: the United States, none of that. Donald Trump only cares
[53:24] Speaker 2: about Donald Trump, that's all. He doesn't care. Look at this.
[53:30] Speaker 2: I haven't instructed the Department of Commerce to make all
[53:33] Speaker 2: necessary arrangements with Congress to allow a full and complete
[53:38] Speaker 2: transfer of this institution, giving them the responsibility for its operation.
[53:43] Speaker 6: Maintenance, and management. Y'all, he can't do that.
[53:47] Speaker 2: See, let me explain to y'all how this thing works,
[53:52] Speaker 2: little thing called the Constitution. Anything that deals with money,
[53:55] Speaker 2: any bill or whatever, it has to start in the House,
[53:59] Speaker 2: can't start this Senate. It literally has to start in
[54:02] Speaker 2: the House, and then once the House passes it, then
[54:05] Speaker 2: it goes to the Senate, and then if they have
[54:06] Speaker 2: a siparate bill, then they pass it there. Then they
[54:09] Speaker 2: reconcile to the bills. Then the House has to voting
[54:11] Speaker 2: the reconcile bill. Then they go to the Senate, and
[54:13] Speaker 2: then it goes to the occupant of the old office to.
[54:15] Speaker 6: Sign Congress funds departments.
[54:21] Speaker 2: So you have Commerce, the Interior, Health and Human Services,
[54:28] Speaker 2: Department of Agriculture, you've got the Pentagon. I mean, we
[54:31] Speaker 2: can go on and on and on, listing all of
[54:34] Speaker 2: the labor vetter an affairs, listing.
[54:36] Speaker 6: All the departments.
[54:38] Speaker 2: The various federal departments have oversight of certain things. So,
[54:42] Speaker 2: for instance, Donald Trump can't just say, even though he's
[54:48] Speaker 2: tried this with Education Department, Department of Labor, y'all are
[54:53] Speaker 2: now in charge of the Washington Monument. Okay, do that.
[54:59] Speaker 2: That's the House done. So this idiot actually thinks that
[55:03] Speaker 2: he could just Okay, Congress, I'm gonna give y'all a
[55:06] Speaker 2: candy center back. No you can't. The man is an idiot.
[55:13] Speaker 2: He's an absolute idiot, and he lost, and he's thrown
[55:17] Speaker 2: the tantrum. Oh but he got better. Another federal judge
[55:22] Speaker 2: temporarily blocked payouts from Donald Trump's anti Represation Fund, which
[55:27] Speaker 2: is really the White Domestic Terrorist Reparations Fund to face
[55:32] Speaker 2: really means no money will be released for the claims
[55:35] Speaker 2: through this new one point seven billion dollar slush fund
[55:38] Speaker 2: for Trump allies who believed they were victims of a
[55:41] Speaker 2: weaponized government. This district judge, Leoni Brackima in Alexandria, Virginia,
[55:47] Speaker 2: also barred the government from moving forward with the fund's
[55:50] Speaker 2: creation while litigating challenges to it.
[55:53] Speaker 6: Yep, that's pending.
[55:55] Speaker 2: The judge schedule of June twelfth hearing in this case
[55:58] Speaker 2: to hear arguments about whether to extend the blocking payouts
[56:01] Speaker 2: from the fund. The government created the reserve to resolve
[56:03] Speaker 2: Donald Trump's lawsuit against the Eternal Revenue Service over the
[56:06] Speaker 2: leak of his tax returns. Oh and one more thing
[56:09] Speaker 2: about those tax returns. You know the judge that was
[56:15] Speaker 2: overset in the lawsuit, and you know that judges said,
[56:19] Speaker 2: you know what, I'm gonna reopen the case because there
[56:26] Speaker 2: might be deception involved. Y'all, My man hit the hat
[56:31] Speaker 2: trick today. Donald Trump hit the hat trick. The judge said, yeah,
[56:40] Speaker 2: I got some priblems, I got some problems with what
[56:46] Speaker 2: y'all have done. So yeah, because you know what they did.
[56:52] Speaker 2: They pulled the suit so the judge couldn't have oversight.
[56:56] Speaker 2: And then they cut the deal to cut the deal
[57:00] Speaker 2: with this for this settlement. And y'all they thought they
[57:06] Speaker 2: thought they were trying to do do a get over.
[57:11] Speaker 2: They were like, listen, we're gonna do this. We're gonna
[57:13] Speaker 2: do this settlement. And then Todd Blanche transform a personal tourney.
[57:17] Speaker 2: So Todd, what I need you to do is you're
[57:18] Speaker 2: gonna go ahead and sign off on this thing. And see,
[57:21] Speaker 2: when you sign off on this thing, we're gonna have
[57:23] Speaker 2: the authority to create this fund. And so then I'm
[57:26] Speaker 2: gonna hand out checks to all my white domestic terrorists
[57:30] Speaker 2: who got busted.
[57:31] Speaker 18: Uh.
[57:31] Speaker 2: And so that's how we're gonna do. That's the play
[57:33] Speaker 2: we're gonna run to play, all right.
[57:34] Speaker 6: Hut hut.
[57:37] Speaker 2: We guess what this judge in Miami said, I don't
[57:42] Speaker 2: know her name is, Kathleen Williams. Go to my iPad.
[57:45] Speaker 2: She said, you know what, I need to investigate grievous
[57:50] Speaker 2: allegations that the deal quote was premised on deception. New
[57:58] Speaker 2: York Times writers. Judge williams decision came in response to
[58:01] Speaker 2: court papers filed on a Wednesday by bipartisan group of
[58:04] Speaker 2: thirty five former federal judges who urged her to bring
[58:07] Speaker 2: the case back to life and dig into the details
[58:09] Speaker 2: of the agreement to settle it before she closed the case.
[58:13] Speaker 2: Judge Williams and Obama Pointe had questioned whether the lawsuit
[58:16] Speaker 2: president an actual conflict that she could adjudicate, given that
[58:20] Speaker 2: Trump was on both sides of the suit bringing claims
[58:22] Speaker 2: against the federal agency that he controlled. When she closed it,
[58:26] Speaker 2: she noted that that was no settlement of record. But
[58:29] Speaker 2: shortly after the Justice Department released this agreement for closing
[58:34] Speaker 2: the action. Oh my god, I could just all I
[58:39] Speaker 2: hear is Stevie wonder? Isn't she lovely?
[58:44] Speaker 6: Isn't she want?
[58:46] Speaker 2: See? Trump can't control this federal judge like he can
[58:50] Speaker 2: that full of the judge in Miami, you know, the
[58:52] Speaker 2: one who what's that? I forgot her name, Paton crazyhead ka.
[58:58] Speaker 2: I can't remember her name anyway, So y'all aero for
[59:04] Speaker 2: three Matt. It's called getting your ass kicked in court.
[59:08] Speaker 2: I mean it's just like ass whooping. Oh shit, I
[59:11] Speaker 2: got slapped over here, damn. So he basically got slapped
[59:15] Speaker 2: on his side, slapped on his side, and slapped on
[59:18] Speaker 2: his ass.
[59:18] Speaker 6: He just got straight up jack today.
[59:22] Speaker 16: Yeah, and you know it's funny. I mean, judges are
[59:24] Speaker 16: are typically pretty uh what's the word. They're reticent to
[59:29] Speaker 16: be activists and to say things in an incendiary way.
[59:32] Speaker 16: But there's little easter eggs you can read from at
[59:35] Speaker 16: least what I've seen reported to let you know how
[59:37] Speaker 16: the judges feel when the judge says, for instance, this
[59:39] Speaker 16: violates the clear language of the statute that's telling you
[59:43] Speaker 16: you're bringing me some bs. Right, it's very obvious what
[59:46] Speaker 16: your power is here and what your power isn't So
[59:49] Speaker 16: you're renaming the Kennedy Center is a director front to
[59:53] Speaker 16: the law and I'm not going to allow that. And
[59:55] Speaker 16: I think what's especially interesting with the Weaponization Fund is
[59:58] Speaker 16: you have thirty five former federal judges, a bipartisan group,
[1:00:02] Speaker 16: who file out the equivalent of an Amichi, you know,
[1:00:04] Speaker 16: type brief. But apparently they basically urged the court to
[1:00:08] Speaker 16: look into the substance of the deal. And what's really
[1:00:11] Speaker 16: interesting about this procedurally is normally, when you dismiss a
[1:00:14] Speaker 16: case in federal court, you know, the judge doesn't really
[1:00:16] Speaker 16: get to look at all the merits of why you're
[1:00:18] Speaker 16: dismissing it. There's certain rules as to when they can
[1:00:21] Speaker 16: dismiss it and when they can't. But the larger point
[1:00:23] Speaker 16: is they're not always looking at settlements. But what happened
[1:00:26] Speaker 16: here is the judge got tipped off by these other
[1:00:29] Speaker 16: judges saying, yo, I think they lied to you about something.
[1:00:32] Speaker 16: And it looks like she's doing an inquiry into whether
[1:00:34] Speaker 16: there was a fraud on the court. I recently had
[1:00:37] Speaker 16: this happen in one of my cases, and I will
[1:00:39] Speaker 16: tell you federal judges have a lot of power and
[1:00:41] Speaker 16: they really, really, really get pissed off if they think
[1:00:44] Speaker 16: somebody's lying to them. So I'm especially interested in seeing
[1:00:47] Speaker 16: how that turns out because that judge is saying, look,
[1:00:50] Speaker 16: you guys tried to pull the wool over my eyes.
[1:00:52] Speaker 16: I'm absolutely gonna get to the bottom of this. And
[1:00:55] Speaker 16: just as a basic premise, I mean, you can't really
[1:00:57] Speaker 16: have a lawsuit against yourself. That's what this so per
[1:01:00] Speaker 16: se corrupt, right, It's self dealing, and that's the crux
[1:01:03] Speaker 16: of all of this. Trump's trying to pay himself with
[1:01:05] Speaker 16: taxpayer money through this fund. But if you look at
[1:01:08] Speaker 16: the procedure, they withdrew the complaint or the lawsuit once
[1:01:12] Speaker 16: there were questions, you know, being bandied about about what
[1:01:15] Speaker 16: was going on, and then they decided to come up
[1:01:16] Speaker 16: with this settlement. So I think you're looking at potential
[1:01:20] Speaker 16: actions from the court that could really implicate people their
[1:01:23] Speaker 16: law licenses, whether people were dishonest with the court, and
[1:01:26] Speaker 16: there could be a much larger thing going on here
[1:01:28] Speaker 16: than just whether this fund is set.
[1:01:30] Speaker 6: Up or not.
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean like this with the New York Times,
[1:01:34] Speaker 2: says In her brief but stern order on Friday, Judge
[1:01:37] Speaker 2: Williams said that she wanted to investigate the circumstances surrounding
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: Trump's efforts to settle the lawsuit in a way that
[1:01:43] Speaker 2: benefited him and his allies, Asserting that she was quote
[1:01:46] Speaker 2: empowered to investigate serious misconduct in the case before her,
[1:01:50] Speaker 2: She ordered Trump's lawyers to tell her about June twelfth
[1:01:53] Speaker 2: whether the case should be formally reopened because quote, the
[1:01:57] Speaker 2: court was the victim of a fraud. Trump had colluded
[1:02:01] Speaker 2: with his own government to set up the case quote
[1:02:04] Speaker 2: to avoid judicial scrutiny. She pointed to reporting of The
[1:02:07] Speaker 2: New York Times that describe how the IRS had prepared
[1:02:11] Speaker 2: a twenty five page memorandum outlining defenses against the suit
[1:02:16] Speaker 2: that the Justice Department did not take up in court.
[1:02:21] Speaker 2: Thelma Matt's right, Federals have lots of power, and we
[1:02:26] Speaker 2: already know how Trump has been busted for lying to
[1:02:29] Speaker 2: federal judges, and so they're now going to have to
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: bring in paperwork saying yeah, my bad. When was this dated. Yeah,
[1:02:40] Speaker 2: this thing was dated. Oh and don't start trying to
[1:02:44] Speaker 2: change the paperwork. So what she's saying is I need
[1:02:48] Speaker 2: to see all that correspondence. I need to see those emails.
[1:02:51] Speaker 2: I need to see all those memos because I want
[1:02:54] Speaker 2: to know did y'all draw up this agreement before I
[1:02:59] Speaker 2: close the case? Meaning y'all were playing in my face.
[1:03:06] Speaker 4: Hmmm, and plan in her face they was doing.
[1:03:10] Speaker 14: And here's the thing that I said this when Trump
[1:03:13] Speaker 14: became president, I said, not only are we going to
[1:03:16] Speaker 14: have a melting pot of every industry, specifically the legal industry,
[1:03:22] Speaker 14: we're going to see exactly the corruption that goes on
[1:03:26] Speaker 14: within legal the legal profession. And this is nothing but
[1:03:31] Speaker 14: it being put on display when a judge says, y'all
[1:03:36] Speaker 14: came in my court and had the audacity to use
[1:03:41] Speaker 14: the black letter law to try to persuade me, when
[1:03:46] Speaker 14: y'all already knew the plan and a plot before you
[1:03:49] Speaker 14: came in here, and you deceived me. But see, your
[1:03:53] Speaker 14: deception is now my detection.
[1:03:56] Speaker 4: And now we've been we're gonna roll this back.
[1:03:58] Speaker 14: Because I want to see everything because now I'm going
[1:04:01] Speaker 14: to check the metadata. And when I start, when they
[1:04:04] Speaker 14: start checking that metadata. That metadata is going to track
[1:04:07] Speaker 14: the dates and those dates don't lie, but they did,
[1:04:11] Speaker 14: and they're going to get caught up in it. And
[1:04:13] Speaker 14: guess the what it's going to cause those lawyers to
[1:04:15] Speaker 14: have disciplinary problems. They could be disbarred because when a
[1:04:19] Speaker 14: federal judge say you line, they're definitely going to report
[1:04:22] Speaker 14: you to the bar and the way that they're reported
[1:04:25] Speaker 14: is not like none other. It is going to be
[1:04:28] Speaker 14: in the way that the board has no other option
[1:04:31] Speaker 14: but to suspend or disbarre you because you allow a
[1:04:36] Speaker 14: convicted felon to dictate your ethics that you swore under
[1:04:42] Speaker 14: to come into my courtroom. But this is just the
[1:04:47] Speaker 14: onset of what Trump and his fraudsters have been doing.
[1:04:51] Speaker 14: But we have to have judges that lean on the law,
[1:04:55] Speaker 14: the integrity, the truthfulness, the honesty of what this profession
[1:04:59] Speaker 14: is supposed to be and not what MAGA wants this
[1:05:03] Speaker 14: to be, which is their way to come in and
[1:05:05] Speaker 14: rich still kill and destroy.
[1:05:08] Speaker 2: Absolutely, so he just keepes taking ls.
[1:05:12] Speaker 7: Michael, well, most losers do. And you know this is
[1:05:18] Speaker 7: this is good news.
[1:05:19] Speaker 5: On the Friday, and I read the piece that just
[1:05:22] Speaker 5: came out from the New York Times on this as well,
[1:05:24] Speaker 5: and just Kathleen Williams noted that when she closed the case,
[1:05:31] Speaker 5: when the case closed previously, that there was no settlement
[1:05:33] Speaker 5: of record. Okay, So this is one of the things
[1:05:37] Speaker 5: that has come up. It went in the analysis of this.
[1:05:41] Speaker 7: Okay.
[1:05:41] Speaker 5: So you followed this privileged lawsuit against the IRS for
[1:05:45] Speaker 5: ten billion dollars, right, there's.
[1:05:47] Speaker 7: No settlement of record. But then you create this seventeen
[1:05:51] Speaker 7: seventy one billion, seven hundred seventy six thousand dollar fund
[1:05:58] Speaker 7: and talk about this.
[1:06:00] Speaker 5: Is what people who were the victim of victims of
[1:06:03] Speaker 5: weaponization of the government, and a lot of people are saying,
[1:06:07] Speaker 5: this is Donald Trump's attempt to fund his personal militia
[1:06:12] Speaker 5: so that the January sixth insurrectionists who he gave a
[1:06:15] Speaker 5: pardon to fifteen hundred of them can now get money
[1:06:20] Speaker 5: after they assaulted police officers and stormed the capitol, because
[1:06:23] Speaker 5: who knows what's going to happen.
[1:06:25] Speaker 7: If he needs them again.
[1:06:27] Speaker 5: Okay, So we have to understand how all of this
[1:06:29] Speaker 5: is connected. So this is once again the reason why
[1:06:33] Speaker 5: you have to have good federal judges. This federal judge
[1:06:36] Speaker 5: was nominated by Obama and then also Judge Burkima nominated
[1:06:44] Speaker 5: by President Clinton as well, so that all those people
[1:06:47] Speaker 5: out there who said judges don't matter your ass probably
[1:06:51] Speaker 5: didn't read anyr Project twenty twenty five either, don't know
[1:06:53] Speaker 5: what's going on.
[1:06:56] Speaker 7: So we have to understand how all this is connected.
[1:06:58] Speaker 7: So we'll see how this works out there.
[1:07:00] Speaker 2: Team keep taking those ls, all right, y'all, quick break,
[1:07:02] Speaker 2: we come back. Oh drama in the New York Giants
[1:07:05] Speaker 2: locker room beyond the fact that they suck as the
[1:07:06] Speaker 2: football team. Uh, their quarterback Jackson whatever his name is,
[1:07:11] Speaker 2: Jackson something, Jackson Dark. Uh he introduced Trump at a
[1:07:14] Speaker 2: rally while you laughing, Matt, they do they suck. They suck.
[1:07:19] Speaker 3: I'm a Cowboys fan.
[1:07:20] Speaker 8: I hate the Giants, so.
[1:07:22] Speaker 2: Y'all suck too. Y'all suck worth more than they do.
[1:07:25] Speaker 9: That's not the point we hate.
[1:07:26] Speaker 2: Like like, if you're gonna laugh, if you're gonna laugh,
[1:07:29] Speaker 2: I mean you would laugh at they really sock, y'all.
[1:07:33] Speaker 16: Really see and come on, y'all, yeah suck.
[1:07:40] Speaker 2: I mean that's no, that's not yeah right right now.
[1:07:45] Speaker 6: They still suck in the off season.
[1:07:48] Speaker 2: So it's like, I mean, they sucked. The Cowboys suck,
[1:07:51] Speaker 2: so let's.
[1:07:52] Speaker 7: Just don't blastom America's team. Just keep pushing like you're not.
[1:07:56] Speaker 6: Even in Dallas, You're and Arlington.
[1:07:57] Speaker 2: So y'all suck. So let's just be real clean here.
[1:08:00] Speaker 2: Y'all are terrible. Your team is terrible. So so keep laughing. Yeah,
[1:08:06] Speaker 2: they're gonna go to super They're gonna buy Tickle like
[1:08:08] Speaker 2: everybody else. So they can keep it. They can keep it.
[1:08:12] Speaker 2: They can keep sitting here, you can laugh. But yes,
[1:08:13] Speaker 2: the Giant sun, uh and so and again in just
[1:08:17] Speaker 2: in case, Matt, give be reminded this this took place
[1:08:22] Speaker 2: at your stadium. Oh god, see you got a week
[1:08:26] Speaker 2: ass cowboy fan who's directing the show. Say he thinks
[1:08:28] Speaker 2: he's not gonna pull it up, but see he's not
[1:08:31] Speaker 2: gonna get paid if he don't pull us up. So
[1:08:33] Speaker 2: I advise Henry. I advise Henry to punch that button
[1:08:39] Speaker 2: or I'm telling you because I'm telling you right now,
[1:08:42] Speaker 2: I approve.
[1:08:42] Speaker 7: I would advise you to call the EEO scene.
[1:08:44] Speaker 2: No no, no, you call it EEO scene because you
[1:08:48] Speaker 2: call EO C. Let remind you, I prove invoices. Let
[1:08:53] Speaker 2: me also remind Henry, I dictate who directs each day.
[1:08:59] Speaker 3: So you.
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: You might not hear Henry might not be able even
[1:09:03] Speaker 2: to put an invoice in because he may not be directing.
[1:09:06] Speaker 6: For the next month.
[1:09:09] Speaker 7: Here'll get Henry my number.
[1:09:11] Speaker 2: Yes said, Oh yeah, boy, it's amazing. It's amazing. Hell yes,
[1:09:15] Speaker 2: it's amazing how they got punched out. Oh yeah, yes,
[1:09:18] Speaker 2: it's amazing how they got punched. So I just wanted
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: to remind y'all. No, no, no, keep it up, bring
[1:09:23] Speaker 2: it back up. I just I just want to remind
[1:09:26] Speaker 2: that who beat who beat your ass in your stadium
[1:09:30] Speaker 2: like smack ship out of you. So next time, keep
[1:09:33] Speaker 2: the texts out your mouth except say where did you
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: where to go beating my ass? There you go? Now
[1:09:40] Speaker 2: herey feel some kind of way.
[1:09:41] Speaker 3: Nobody said anything about the Texas.
[1:09:42] Speaker 2: Now now, Henry, you can come back to the panel. Yes,
[1:09:46] Speaker 2: I thought so. All right, when we come back, we're
[1:09:49] Speaker 2: gonna talk about Jackson Dark speaking in a Trump rally
[1:09:52] Speaker 2: and man his teammate lit his ass up. That then
[1:09:55] Speaker 2: led to a lock of team meeting. Now Dark comes
[1:09:59] Speaker 2: out today to address said Carter comes out to they
[1:10:01] Speaker 2: address it, and you know, Jameis Winston has something to

[1:10:54] Speaker 21: No election in Georgia will ever be saying you're not
[1:10:57] Speaker 21: gonna be able to tell black folk if both don't matter.
[1:10:59] Speaker 21: In two years is when it's the gubernatorial race and
[1:11:01] Speaker 21: these state legislative races that we don't have the power
[1:11:05] Speaker 21: to win a state Senate seat.
[1:11:07] Speaker 3: Now I say that, but this is the caveyat This
[1:11:10] Speaker 3: is a tricky part.
[1:11:11] Speaker 21: This was possible because there were more resources than we've
[1:11:14] Speaker 21: ever seen in this state. The question is going to be,
[1:11:17] Speaker 21: now that we've done save the country and white folks
[1:11:20] Speaker 21: in the country aren't feeling like the world is falling apart,
[1:11:23] Speaker 21: is they're going to be the same kind of investment
[1:11:25] Speaker 21: in black lived organizations and in black communities. If there
[1:11:29] Speaker 21: is there's no election in the state that we can't win,
[1:11:32] Speaker 21: there's no election in the South we can't win, We'll
[1:11:35] Speaker 21: still be motivated, we still will learn lessons. Black folks
[1:11:38] Speaker 21: still going to be amp. But at the end of
[1:11:39] Speaker 21: the day, it's not sustainable. We can't really count on
[1:11:42] Speaker 21: external funding.
[1:11:44] Speaker 3: Long term.
[1:11:44] Speaker 21: Independent politics requires independent money. When we can combine that
[1:11:49] Speaker 21: kind of economic power with the political power, now.
[1:11:52] Speaker 2: We're talking, that's nation building.
[1:11:54] Speaker 3: That's what we're trying to get to.
[1:12:05] Speaker 2: All right, folks, let me tell you about chapter Now,
[1:12:07] Speaker 2: if you're in medicare or about to be, the system
[1:12:11] Speaker 2: is not set up to work for you too much.
[1:12:13] Speaker 1: Fine.
[1:12:14] Speaker 2: Too many plans and too many people making money off
[1:12:16] Speaker 2: of your confusion.
[1:12:17] Speaker 6: And look, we're used to this.
[1:12:18] Speaker 2: We're no strangers to systems that don't have our best
[1:12:21] Speaker 2: interest at heart. But we don't have to accept it
[1:12:24] Speaker 2: when it comes to Medicare. That's why I'm telling you
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: about Chapter. Their advisors are independent and honest. In fact,
[1:12:32] Speaker 2: they're the only Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide,
[1:12:38] Speaker 2: and they're focused on one thing, what works for you.
[1:12:43] Speaker 2: If there's a better plan out there, they'll find it.
[1:12:46] Speaker 2: If you're already in the right one, they'll tell you
[1:12:49] Speaker 2: that too. There are no games. Just last year, people
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: who switched with Chapter saved an average up eleven hundred dollars.
[1:12:57] Speaker 2: It's twenty minutes and a real person depletely free. My
[1:13:01] Speaker 2: parents actually have already called Mom sent me a text. Folks,
[1:13:06] Speaker 2: Give Chapter a call at seven two four two sixty

[1:13:55] Speaker 7: That Black Star is bright.
[1:14:03] Speaker 2: Ah y'all. Week ago this took place. Trump had a
[1:14:06] Speaker 2: rally in New York and so they had Jackson Dart,
[1:14:09] Speaker 2: the starting quarterback for the New York Giants, introduce him. Way,
[1:14:14] Speaker 2: let's just say, uh that caused to stir a linebacker
[1:14:19] Speaker 2: for the Giants.
[1:14:19] Speaker 6: I do a carder.
[1:14:20] Speaker 2: He posted a tweet he said, what the hell is?
[1:14:22] Speaker 2: This is this AI and man? That led to all
[1:14:25] Speaker 2: kinds of drama. Well, today, Jackson Dark came out in
[1:14:30] Speaker 2: addresses at the news conference. Here's some of what the
[1:14:32] Speaker 2: white quarterback had to say.
[1:14:35] Speaker 23: You know, my thinking was it's pretty simple and the
[1:14:39] Speaker 23: fact of you know, I've always loved this country. I've
[1:14:45] Speaker 23: extended family members who have fought wars. I have two
[1:14:49] Speaker 23: uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy and
[1:14:53] Speaker 23: served themselves.
[1:14:55] Speaker 6: And Okay, so he said a whole bunch of stuff.
[1:14:58] Speaker 2: So you know, I support the country, you know, you know,
[1:15:01] Speaker 2: you know a lot of like I you know, it's
[1:15:03] Speaker 2: like I support Ofphice, blah blah blah and all that
[1:15:05] Speaker 2: sort of stuff like that, and conservative media they've been
[1:15:08] Speaker 2: losing their mind, losing their mind. They're upset because they're
[1:15:11] Speaker 2: mad that I do. Carter, who's Muslim, made his comments saying,
[1:15:17] Speaker 2: is this ai and mean, I mean, I'm like yo,
[1:15:20] Speaker 2: And so Carter let him know. And so again they
[1:15:23] Speaker 2: had this big old meeting in the in the locker room,
[1:15:27] Speaker 2: and everybody was they were talking about it. Then Carter,
[1:15:29] Speaker 2: you know, he also before the cameras, he made it
[1:15:32] Speaker 2: clear like, yo, I ain't gonna be talking about this
[1:15:34] Speaker 2: a whole lot. It's the only time I go address
[1:15:36] Speaker 2: this thing. So this is what he had to say.
[1:15:39] Speaker 10: So, first off, I'm want to say that some things
[1:15:41] Speaker 10: are bigger than football, and this is one of those things.
[1:15:44] Speaker 9: Jackson is one of our leaders. He's the face of
[1:15:46] Speaker 9: our franchise. He not only.
[1:15:48] Speaker 10: Represents himself and what he does, but he represents all
[1:15:50] Speaker 10: of us. And that goes for anybody who wears a
[1:15:53] Speaker 10: Giant's uniform. But if he chooses tilan himself with a
[1:15:57] Speaker 10: man like President Trump, it's my responsibility, based on what
[1:16:00] Speaker 10: I believe and what I stand on, to not only
[1:16:02] Speaker 10: show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show
[1:16:05] Speaker 10: the world.
[1:16:06] Speaker 9: And that doesn't mean that we have to spread hate.
[1:16:09] Speaker 9: It doesn't mean that me and Jackson hate each other.
[1:16:11] Speaker 9: We have beef. I sit next to Jackson every day
[1:16:13] Speaker 9: every team meeting.
[1:16:14] Speaker 10: We close, we talked, you know, we just as long
[1:16:17] Speaker 10: as we make sure we got the same goal as
[1:16:19] Speaker 10: a team, and our goals a line, which they do.
[1:16:21] Speaker 9: And I feel like that's all that matters. So I
[1:16:23] Speaker 9: just want to move past this and yeah, that's it.
[1:16:25] Speaker 3: That shit.
[1:16:26] Speaker 2: But so there was a lot of discuss, a lot
[1:16:27] Speaker 2: of discuss, a lot of back and forth, and and
[1:16:30] Speaker 2: of course conservative media they jumped in there. They were
[1:16:32] Speaker 2: all up said, what if for somebody to introduced what
[1:16:35] Speaker 2: if somebody introduced you know, borrow what happened when Lebron
[1:16:38] Speaker 2: and Steph did it. Whatever, but leave it up to
[1:16:41] Speaker 2: New York Giants back up quarterback Jameis Winston to bring
[1:16:45] Speaker 2: some much things perspective to this. This brother here is
[1:16:49] Speaker 2: gonna be incredible and his playing days are over. He
[1:16:51] Speaker 2: matter of fact, he should get as big a deal
[1:16:53] Speaker 2: as a one time Brady guy from Fox that ten year,
[1:16:56] Speaker 2: three hundred and seventy five million of the contract. Listen
[1:16:58] Speaker 2: to this.
[1:16:59] Speaker 7: I'm about to show you.
[1:17:00] Speaker 3: How you turn uncomfortable into a growing moment.
[1:17:03] Speaker 18: I'm from a city, Birmingham, Alabama, where they blew up
[1:17:08] Speaker 18: a church with four little girls and their parents and
[1:17:12] Speaker 18: family had to go around picking up their limbs in
[1:17:17] Speaker 18: the Deep South, picking up their limbs, four little girls.
[1:17:21] Speaker 7: I'm from a city.
[1:17:22] Speaker 18: Well, a little nine year old girl who decided to
[1:17:25] Speaker 18: march got put in jail.
[1:17:29] Speaker 7: For volunteering her right of free speech, for standing on
[1:17:33] Speaker 7: what she believes in. That's history, and I believe history
[1:17:37] Speaker 7: repeats itself.
[1:17:39] Speaker 18: But I also believe in respecting authority, respecting treating a
[1:17:43] Speaker 18: man and a woman as I would like to be treated.
[1:17:47] Speaker 18: That is how uncomfortable situation and uncomfortable times helped unify people.
[1:17:52] Speaker 7: Because you know them, you're realized from them, and you
[1:17:54] Speaker 7: grow from them.
[1:17:56] Speaker 3: Right now.
[1:17:57] Speaker 18: I mean I haven't been a part of any openly
[1:18:01] Speaker 18: traumatizing things like that happened not two hundred and fifty
[1:18:06] Speaker 18: years ago when this country came into assistance, but try
[1:18:10] Speaker 18: about eighty years ago.
[1:18:13] Speaker 7: We got people that still live during that time. Those
[1:18:16] Speaker 7: little girls will still be living right now.
[1:18:18] Speaker 18: That nine year old girl that got strayed with hoses
[1:18:21] Speaker 18: and you put dogs on it and put it in jail,
[1:18:23] Speaker 18: she's still living right now. It's the little children's book.
[1:18:25] Speaker 18: I read this book about this now, Yo, marcha to
[1:18:28] Speaker 18: my kids. That's why educating our youth and informing them
[1:18:34] Speaker 18: of our history is so important. A lot of people
[1:18:37] Speaker 18: try to push it past. You're like, oh my gosh,
[1:18:40] Speaker 18: like that's behind us. No guys were living in it.
[1:18:42] Speaker 18: Right now, we got a blond hair, blue eyed, white
[1:18:45] Speaker 18: kid and a black.
[1:18:50] Speaker 7: Muslim religion.
[1:18:52] Speaker 18: Black kid who are coming together and showing y'all, showing
[1:18:56] Speaker 18: the world that we can come together and we don't
[1:19:00] Speaker 18: have to see everything.
[1:19:02] Speaker 7: Everything doesn't have to be viewed in this perfect little snow.
[1:19:06] Speaker 2: So what's interesting is again you look at all this
[1:19:11] Speaker 2: sort of stuff. I mean, our dude was right, He's like,
[1:19:13] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Like, yo, you want to ride with that dude,
[1:19:16] Speaker 2: I'm gonna say something and he should say something. And
[1:19:19] Speaker 2: here's a deal, Jackson Dark. If you want to ride
[1:19:22] Speaker 2: with Trump, going right ahead, Well deal the consequences after
[1:19:26] Speaker 2: the fact and listen. I understand y'all. When you look
[1:19:31] Speaker 2: at NFL locker rooms, you know what typically happens. You
[1:19:34] Speaker 2: got your white players and your black players. You got
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: your white linemen, especially the offensive linemen, many of them
[1:19:39] Speaker 2: gonna be Republican.
[1:19:40] Speaker 6: When the when the.
[1:19:41] Speaker 2: Freddie Gray stuff happened in Baltimore, Yo, you had white
[1:19:44] Speaker 2: you had white cops. When George Floyd happened, he had
[1:19:47] Speaker 2: white white football players were like, Yo, I understand. Why
[1:19:50] Speaker 2: kn't y'all comply? And black players was like, let me
[1:19:51] Speaker 2: explain you how this shit go down? This all happens.
[1:19:54] Speaker 2: And so, Jackson Dark, you chose to step your ass
[1:19:57] Speaker 2: out there, you know. And speaking of Trump rally, you
[1:19:59] Speaker 2: can talk all you want to hold, No, I just
[1:20:01] Speaker 2: you know, I just respect the office. That was the
[1:20:04] Speaker 2: same thing Nelly said while he performed the inauguration. Oh,
[1:20:06] Speaker 2: I respect the office, and my family got military background,
[1:20:10] Speaker 2: so I respect the office. Well, guess what you're gonna
[1:20:12] Speaker 2: get to catch that heat that come with it, especially
[1:20:15] Speaker 2: when you have an insurrection. It'st a line narcissistic, corrupt
[1:20:19] Speaker 2: asshole are you speaking and representing?
[1:20:23] Speaker 7: You got to deal with it.
[1:20:25] Speaker 2: And so he's not going they can sit here and
[1:20:28] Speaker 2: and what's his name?
[1:20:30] Speaker 6: John Harbaugh?
[1:20:32] Speaker 2: This is this is what the head coach of the
[1:20:35] Speaker 2: Giants had to say when he was.
[1:20:36] Speaker 7: Questioned John just fast once you said you knew that
[1:20:40] Speaker 7: Johnson was going to meet the president shake his hand?
[1:20:42] Speaker 7: Did you know that he was going to be in
[1:20:45] Speaker 7: a public way introducing the president?
[1:20:48] Speaker 9: No, but it doesn't matter, you know.
[1:20:50] Speaker 2: I mean, I don't.
[1:20:51] Speaker 7: I'm not worried about it. I'm not. I'm not into
[1:20:54] Speaker 7: all those details about it.
[1:20:55] Speaker 2: It's now John Harbaugh, he knows remember that smiling photo
[1:20:59] Speaker 2: of him and over office. And he had a trash
[1:21:03] Speaker 2: ass season with Baltimore Ravens. That's why he got fired.
[1:21:07] Speaker 2: I guess I do. Carter saying say, Ben, you get
[1:21:09] Speaker 2: close to Trump, you're gonna end up losing. Carter's like,
[1:21:12] Speaker 2: I ain't trying to lose on this team. I think
[1:21:14] Speaker 2: that's what he was telling them. Matt. It was like, Yo,
[1:21:17] Speaker 2: if you want a ligne with that racist, you lie,
[1:21:20] Speaker 2: you wanna aligned with that piece of crap? Go right ahead,
[1:21:22] Speaker 2: but don't think for a second I'm not gonna call
[1:21:25] Speaker 2: you out because you're the quarterback. And it's been all
[1:21:28] Speaker 2: this conversation. There has been more conversation about Jackson Dark
[1:21:32] Speaker 2: uh and and really more I do Carter's response because
[1:21:36] Speaker 2: you got boomer size and criticizing him Skip Beta City
[1:21:38] Speaker 2: shouldn't go public. It's like, it's a whole lot of conversation.
[1:21:42] Speaker 2: But you know, you know what you you know, what
[1:21:44] Speaker 2: you have not heard a lot about in all of this,
[1:21:48] Speaker 2: uh is the fact that the Giants owner, uh, Steve
[1:21:52] Speaker 2: Tish Uh Yeah, was kicking it with girls with Jeffrey Epstein.
[1:22:00] Speaker 2: Ain't that interesting? They spend more time talking about the
[1:22:03] Speaker 2: Carter's response to Dark as opposed to the Giants' owner
[1:22:08] Speaker 2: talk about get with girls with Jeffrey Epstein.
[1:22:11] Speaker 7: Go ahead, yeah, of course, of course.
[1:22:13] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:22:14] Speaker 16: Deflect in every other direction. I mean, we're seeing that everywhere.
[1:22:17] Speaker 16: I don't have much to add beyond a couple of things. First,
[1:22:20] Speaker 16: I think there's still an underlying, you know, problem that
[1:22:24] Speaker 16: people have with athletes having political positions at all. I
[1:22:27] Speaker 16: think there's still a lot of people who think they
[1:22:29] Speaker 16: need to shut up and dribble or play the sport right,
[1:22:32] Speaker 16: and they shouldn't be weighing in.
[1:22:33] Speaker 7: They're people.
[1:22:34] Speaker 16: They're going to have their opinions. I support Jackson Dart's,
[1:22:37] Speaker 16: you know, ability to have his First Amendment opinion and
[1:22:39] Speaker 16: to support whomever he wants, but this is really not
[1:22:41] Speaker 16: about that. This is about consequences. And when you're the
[1:22:44] Speaker 16: quarterback of the team and you align with somebody who's
[1:22:46] Speaker 16: as much a hot button issue as mister Trump is,
[1:22:49] Speaker 16: then you can expect you're going to have backlash.
[1:22:51] Speaker 3: And I think it's good that Carter called him out.
[1:22:54] Speaker 16: I wonder how these conversations actually happened behind closed doors,
[1:22:57] Speaker 16: because the problem is when we see it through the
[1:22:59] Speaker 16: print of public statements, you know, we're getting what they
[1:23:02] Speaker 16: a little bit of what they say. I don't know
[1:23:04] Speaker 16: what's really happening in the locker room, but I don't
[1:23:06] Speaker 16: think you can be surprised. I mean, especially when you
[1:23:08] Speaker 16: have somebody like Trump, because when you play on a
[1:23:10] Speaker 16: team with a lot of brothers, if you have somebody
[1:23:12] Speaker 16: who is, through his policy and through his rhetoric saying
[1:23:15] Speaker 16: he hates black people, what do you expect to happen.
[1:23:17] Speaker 16: People are gonna feel some kind of way about that,
[1:23:19] Speaker 16: and that's going to create a division. But you know,
[1:23:23] Speaker 16: none of this surprising to me, especially because you know
[1:23:28] Speaker 16: the way the NFL tries to portray itself as you know,
[1:23:31] Speaker 16: this purely American.
[1:23:32] Speaker 9: Sport and it's big time.
[1:23:33] Speaker 16: You know, the backlash when people get mad at the
[1:23:35] Speaker 16: Super Bowl performer and all that kind of stuff. I mean,
[1:23:39] Speaker 16: I think some of these things are all tied together.
[1:23:41] Speaker 16: But it doesn't surprise me that he's supporting mister Trump.
[1:23:44] Speaker 16: I bet a lot of NFL players do.
[1:23:46] Speaker 2: And it's good that you have.
[1:23:47] Speaker 16: Divergent opinion somebody calling them out. That's exactly what needs
[1:23:49] Speaker 16: to happen.
[1:23:50] Speaker 2: And it's like, hey, it's like, hey, thumb, it's all good.
[1:23:53] Speaker 2: You want to stand up with your boy Trump, go
[1:23:56] Speaker 2: right ahead, but expect to get your ass lit up.
[1:23:58] Speaker 4: To absolutely absolutely.
[1:24:02] Speaker 14: And it makes me think of how the NFL really
[1:24:08] Speaker 14: put Schador Sanders through hell for being raised right and
[1:24:15] Speaker 14: being respectful and knowing how to articulate and knowing his value.
[1:24:21] Speaker 14: But when we're looking at it, a quarterback, quarterbacks are
[1:24:24] Speaker 14: considered the nuclear is considered the leader, the face of
[1:24:29] Speaker 14: the franchise. And when you go out and make a
[1:24:33] Speaker 14: mockery of the franchise in the face of individuals that
[1:24:40] Speaker 14: look like me, you're showing the disrespect, you're showing the
[1:24:45] Speaker 14: lack of leadership.
[1:24:46] Speaker 4: You're showing that we can't trust you. Like we say,
[1:24:49] Speaker 4: we don't care who you align with.
[1:24:51] Speaker 14: But when you put it in our face to let
[1:24:54] Speaker 14: us know like this what it is, well we're finish
[1:24:57] Speaker 14: show you what it is. We're gonna start speaking up,
[1:24:59] Speaker 14: We're gonna start articulateing, We're gonna start letting you know.
[1:25:02] Speaker 14: And you better also understand that when it's time to
[1:25:07] Speaker 14: go on that field, guess who gotta protect you? So
[1:25:12] Speaker 14: you going to play in our face for the president,
[1:25:18] Speaker 14: but we got to protect you on that field. Pick up,
[1:25:21] Speaker 14: pick your side wisely, But he showed us the side
[1:25:24] Speaker 14: that he picked. He ain't picked the side of his teammates.
[1:25:27] Speaker 14: He picked the side of his ego. And that will
[1:25:31] Speaker 14: fail each.
[1:25:31] Speaker 4: And every time.
[1:25:33] Speaker 2: No, absolutely, Michael is interesting again seeing this, uh, seeing
[1:25:40] Speaker 2: this reaction, and again folks are all you know, all
[1:25:44] Speaker 2: the upset.
[1:25:44] Speaker 24: And and and and they madged like, well, there will
[1:25:48] Speaker 24: happened if the quarterback went out introduced to Obama. Well,
[1:25:52] Speaker 24: Obama wasn't corrupt, wasn't a sexual predator, and wasn't a
[1:25:57] Speaker 24: convicted Fellah.
[1:26:00] Speaker 7: And Obama then inside the insurrection.
[1:26:02] Speaker 5: He then sent domestic terrorists to the US Capito and
[1:26:05] Speaker 5: then gave a part in.
[1:26:06] Speaker 7: The fifteen hundred of them. You know, so.
[1:26:10] Speaker 5: Really, you know, the NFL is between fifty three percent
[1:26:13] Speaker 5: to about sixty three percent black, depend upon which season.
[1:26:18] Speaker 7: It varies from season.
[1:26:19] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That's on the field. That is
[1:26:22] Speaker 2: not that is not in the executive suite of the
[1:26:25] Speaker 2: owner's suite. But go ahead.
[1:26:26] Speaker 7: No, I'm in the field.
[1:26:28] Speaker 5: I mean I'm in the field because they keep us
[1:26:29] Speaker 5: playing in the field because we were in cotton fields.
[1:26:31] Speaker 5: I'm talking about the field.
[1:26:33] Speaker 7: Okay.
[1:26:33] Speaker 5: So so then when you when you have a display
[1:26:37] Speaker 5: like this, right, and you have Jackson Dark introducing Trump
[1:26:42] Speaker 5: but then trying to defend it and say, you.
[1:26:47] Speaker 25: Know, he had family members that served in the military.
[1:26:49] Speaker 25: Trump doesn't respect the military. And none of Trump's family
[1:26:52] Speaker 25: members ever served in the military, Okay. And he talks
[1:26:56] Speaker 25: about he respects the position. Donald Trump doesn't respect the position.
[1:27:00] Speaker 25: But this reminds me of the day after the twenty twenty.
[1:27:04] Speaker 5: Four election when a lot of African Americans went back
[1:27:07] Speaker 5: to work and we were looking at white people at
[1:27:10] Speaker 5: work and one of which one of you hurt.
[1:27:12] Speaker 7: People about to call them something else, something else, which
[1:27:15] Speaker 7: one of y'all voted for Trump.
[1:27:18] Speaker 5: I think a lot of a lot of these brothers
[1:27:20] Speaker 5: on this team are gonna sit back if they don't
[1:27:22] Speaker 5: know it.
[1:27:24] Speaker 7: Trump. They're like, okay, so you support this? What's going on?
[1:27:28] Speaker 7: This is this is the most anti.
[1:27:30] Speaker 5: Black administration we have seen in decade, even worse than
[1:27:34] Speaker 5: even worse than the regular administration.
[1:27:37] Speaker 7: And you sitting up here supporting this.
[1:27:39] Speaker 5: I think it's going to cause a lot of brothers
[1:27:41] Speaker 5: to like rethink, Okay, who will we surrounding ourselves with?
[1:27:45] Speaker 7: Who are we on this team with? This is a
[1:27:47] Speaker 7: deeper conversation. Now it sounds like Jackson Dark and a
[1:27:50] Speaker 7: dual Carter. You know, have you know, put the disagreement
[1:27:53] Speaker 7: aside and you know we'll get TV together. But this
[1:27:58] Speaker 7: is something deep right here, because you're going to be silent.
[1:28:03] Speaker 5: Well, all this devastation takes place in the attack on
[1:28:07] Speaker 5: African Americans, attack on DEI, things of this nature.
[1:28:09] Speaker 7: So we'll see how this plays out.
[1:28:11] Speaker 2: Yep. Well, Baham Lada Jackson, you gotta stuck it up,
[1:28:14] Speaker 2: all right, y'all, let's talk entertainment Donald Trump. Just so
[1:28:18] Speaker 2: y'all know that was a bipartisan, non partisan commission that
[1:28:23] Speaker 2: was set up to lead this big celebration of the
[1:28:28] Speaker 2: countries two and fiftieth anniversary. Well, Donald Trump was like,
[1:28:30] Speaker 2: you know, what the hell with y'all, I'm doing my
[1:28:33] Speaker 2: own committee. So that's where this Great American State Fair
[1:28:38] Speaker 2: idea came from. So it's supposed to take place on
[1:28:42] Speaker 2: July fourth. You also know he's got his wife, beater
[1:28:47] Speaker 2: Dana White in the UFC coming to the White House
[1:28:49] Speaker 2: for a UFC fight on June fourteenth. What's crazy is
[1:28:54] Speaker 2: they are they're trying to order military members to attend
[1:28:59] Speaker 2: this thing. They have height and weight requirements, and they're
[1:29:03] Speaker 2: mandating they actually pay for their tickets.
[1:29:05] Speaker 6: I'd be like deuces to y'all. But anyway, so this.
[1:29:08] Speaker 2: Was the flyer that was put out for the Freedom
[1:29:13] Speaker 2: two fifty Great American State Fair. And so you see
[1:29:17] Speaker 2: right here, Martina McBride, country Star, Young mc c se,
[1:29:22] Speaker 2: Music Factory, Vanilla Ice Milli, Vanilli, the Commodores, mors Day
[1:29:25] Speaker 2: in the Time flow Rider Bret Michaels. Okay, So taking
[1:29:29] Speaker 2: place between June twenty fifth and July tenth. So these
[1:29:33] Speaker 2: people accepted, Well, all of a sudden they begin to
[1:29:36] Speaker 2: find out really what this thing was about. And so
[1:29:38] Speaker 2: all of a sudden, let's see McBride announced, I'm not
[1:29:42] Speaker 2: gonna perform young.
[1:29:43] Speaker 6: Mc now, I'm good. The dude was seeing see Music Factory.
[1:29:48] Speaker 2: First of all, I don't even know why they coming
[1:29:50] Speaker 2: because they only got one song, and the song they
[1:29:52] Speaker 2: got was really Martha was washinging, and we already know
[1:29:55] Speaker 2: what the fraud there was. She wasn't even in the video.
[1:29:58] Speaker 2: They had this other tall, fine chick. Martha is a
[1:30:03] Speaker 2: larger sister, but they wanted Martha's voice shit to sue them.
[1:30:05] Speaker 2: Her name wasn't even on the album. So shit, I
[1:30:08] Speaker 2: don't know, Like, are they gonna do a set or
[1:30:11] Speaker 2: a song?
[1:30:12] Speaker 6: I don't know.
[1:30:13] Speaker 2: Okay. So the Commodores appreciate the Commond doors, but line
[1:30:16] Speaker 2: not Rich, You're not gonna be there. Okay, So Midler Vanilli,
[1:30:20] Speaker 2: one of them died. They only got like I don't
[1:30:24] Speaker 2: know what to tell us about. So we know this
[1:30:27] Speaker 2: broke white boy here vlla Ice. Oh he got us
[1:30:30] Speaker 2: one song more as day in the time. They said, yeah,
[1:30:34] Speaker 2: Marsh like, y'all ain't gonna see us there, flow Rider.
[1:30:38] Speaker 2: They've been lighting his ass up because he is not
[1:30:40] Speaker 2: announced that he's pulling out. Even Brett Michaels was like, yeah,
[1:30:44] Speaker 2: I'm not sure about safety for my fans, so I'm
[1:30:47] Speaker 2: out as well. So now they are blasting them. Now
[1:30:50] Speaker 2: they're blasting them, They're trashing all of them. In fact,
[1:30:54] Speaker 2: Martina McBride is catching lots of hell from the country people.
[1:30:59] Speaker 2: You look this right, I hear fans shred country star
[1:31:02] Speaker 2: my Teena McBride after she came to mob and bails
[1:31:05] Speaker 2: on Great American State Fair. Well, yeah, it was not
[1:31:08] Speaker 2: only like we were out, and she actually released a
[1:31:10] Speaker 2: statement on this very thing because she and others were like, yo,
[1:31:14] Speaker 2: we thought this was a non partisan thing and this
[1:31:18] Speaker 2: thing is really being positioned as a Donald Trump celebration,
[1:31:22] Speaker 2: and so she posted this statement, I would like to
[1:31:25] Speaker 2: talk to you include the air. I would not be
[1:31:27] Speaker 2: performing at the Great American State Fair in June twenty fifth.
[1:31:30] Speaker 2: I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a
[1:31:32] Speaker 2: non partisan event, but that turned out to be misleading.
[1:31:35] Speaker 2: I asked a lot of questions and was assured that
[1:31:37] Speaker 2: this was a non partisan event that was meant to
[1:31:39] Speaker 2: celebrate all fifty states. In my mind, I thought this
[1:31:43] Speaker 2: was a great way to celebrate the states and also
[1:31:45] Speaker 2: bring people together in the way that only music can.
[1:31:47] Speaker 2: I saw it as just a bigger version of so
[1:31:50] Speaker 2: many state fairs I performed at over the years, celebrating
[1:31:53] Speaker 2: community what makes each state special sounds fun, right, wholesome.
[1:31:57] Speaker 2: Even yesterday, things started changing and what we were told
[1:32:00] Speaker 2: is in fact not what is happening. I spent my
[1:32:02] Speaker 2: entire career singing songs about real people with real issues.
[1:32:06] Speaker 2: I've been blessed with the opportunity to be a voice
[1:32:08] Speaker 2: for those who have felt like they didn't have one.
[1:32:10] Speaker 2: It greatly upsets me. Any fan who has been moved
[1:32:13] Speaker 2: by my music may now feel like I'm abandoning the
[1:32:15] Speaker 2: meaning behind those songs. I assure you that that is
[1:32:19] Speaker 2: out the case. I appreciate every single fan who has
[1:32:21] Speaker 2: reached out. I hope to get back the DC area
[1:32:23] Speaker 2: very soon. Well, now they pissed off at her, and
[1:32:26] Speaker 2: y'all know on the y'all know how the white folks
[1:32:27] Speaker 2: saw the country music. Hell, they still mad at the
[1:32:30] Speaker 2: Dixie Chicks with the comments that they made. But the
[1:32:34] Speaker 2: thing here is again it was presented people thought it
[1:32:38] Speaker 2: was this one commission when it really was Trump's commission.
[1:32:42] Speaker 2: And frankly, felma, if I'm one of these artists, hey no,
[1:32:47] Speaker 2: I ain't going. I'm not going to nothing that's gonna
[1:32:49] Speaker 2: be a Trump party. And so they they damn shaw
[1:32:53] Speaker 2: right now. The question is that I remember, remember remember
[1:32:56] Speaker 2: that Kid Rock, Remember that kid Rock festival He's supposed
[1:32:59] Speaker 2: to put on. Then they found out really that wasn't
[1:33:02] Speaker 2: but what a big a joke as well, and artists
[1:33:06] Speaker 2: after artists begin to pull out. Remember they had that flyer,
[1:33:09] Speaker 2: Ludacris name was on it, and then he was like,
[1:33:12] Speaker 2: yeah we out, we out. Matter of fact, somebody put
[1:33:15] Speaker 2: out this here. This is the flyer all the artists.
[1:33:18] Speaker 2: So these are all the artists that have canceled from
[1:33:21] Speaker 2: this old event. So of the nine artists, the only
[1:33:24] Speaker 2: two that have yet canceled Vanilla I said he is
[1:33:27] Speaker 2: going to perform, and Florider ain't said nothing. But it's
[1:33:31] Speaker 2: now just two of the nine left. But again, so
[1:33:35] Speaker 2: remember that I remember that Kid Rock rocked the country
[1:33:38] Speaker 2: uh deal, which was hilarious. Uh, if I can, if
[1:33:42] Speaker 2: I can find that flyer. They had all these names
[1:33:45] Speaker 2: on it, and they dropped out one by one by
[1:33:49] Speaker 2: one by one by one, and they finally was like, dog,
[1:33:53] Speaker 2: this is gonna hand cancer this whole damn thing because
[1:33:55] Speaker 2: that shit ain't gonna happen.
[1:33:58] Speaker 4: Way is hilarious about this whole thing?
[1:34:01] Speaker 7: Is?
[1:34:02] Speaker 4: My question is the artist? So what did they sell y'all?
[1:34:06] Speaker 14: Did they let y'all know that this was going to
[1:34:09] Speaker 14: be Trump affiliate or did they try to sell you
[1:34:14] Speaker 14: something different to where you didn't know this was going
[1:34:17] Speaker 14: to be posted in and it was going to actually identify.
[1:34:20] Speaker 4: Who was behind the whole event.
[1:34:24] Speaker 14: I want to get them to benefited out, but I
[1:34:25] Speaker 14: can't get them to benefited out because at the end
[1:34:28] Speaker 14: of the day, it's your responsibility to know who you
[1:34:31] Speaker 14: are performing for.
[1:34:32] Speaker 2: Now. Oh but got to remember some said it was
[1:34:37] Speaker 2: misleading because you did have two committees. You get a
[1:34:40] Speaker 2: bipartisan you had this non partisan committee, and then Trump
[1:34:44] Speaker 2: decided to create his own committee that sounded just like
[1:34:47] Speaker 2: that one. And when they reach out to talent agents
[1:34:50] Speaker 2: and booking agents or whatever, all if they hear hey
[1:34:55] Speaker 2: a celebration in Washington, DC of a nation of two
[1:34:58] Speaker 2: and fifty anniversary. Here's what it is.
[1:35:01] Speaker 6: And you see the name.
[1:35:02] Speaker 2: You're not actually thinking, You're not even realizing that Trump.
[1:35:06] Speaker 2: Trump just subverted the actual committee that was set up
[1:35:10] Speaker 2: years ago to plan for this, to decide to do
[1:35:13] Speaker 2: his own thing.
[1:35:16] Speaker 14: Well, now I gotta sue you for tortures, interference of
[1:35:19] Speaker 14: business because now you interfere with my business my bottom
[1:35:22] Speaker 14: line by misleading and not actually telling me who is
[1:35:27] Speaker 14: behind this whole event with you coming in and circumventent
[1:35:30] Speaker 14: or not. My thing is why are they continuing to
[1:35:36] Speaker 14: pinder these individuals and mislead them so that now their
[1:35:41] Speaker 14: reputation is harmed When y'all could have been up front
[1:35:44] Speaker 14: and so the people could.
[1:35:45] Speaker 7: Have told you no.
[1:35:46] Speaker 4: Everybody has a right to say no.
[1:35:48] Speaker 14: They are literally taking people's rights to say no away
[1:35:52] Speaker 14: from them and then from the public.
[1:35:54] Speaker 4: I'm like, so you showing up to perform.
[1:35:56] Speaker 14: For that mess, and we by your music, we stream,
[1:36:00] Speaker 14: we come to the concerns, we show up, we put
[1:36:02] Speaker 14: we sing our hearts out, and you're going to send
[1:36:05] Speaker 14: your heart out for a maga predator convicted felon. Yeah,
[1:36:10] Speaker 14: I'm gonna have to figure out if I need to
[1:36:12] Speaker 14: sooner for torture's interference of business, honestly.
[1:36:15] Speaker 5: Michael, all right, Roland, So yeah, I've been following this
[1:36:21] Speaker 5: and it's hilarious. And also sometimes with artists, their booking
[1:36:26] Speaker 5: agents will book different venues and book them for to
[1:36:31] Speaker 5: perform here, perform there, and they don't know it, they
[1:36:34] Speaker 5: don't know all the details as well.
[1:36:36] Speaker 7: But yeah, I'm glad.
[1:36:39] Speaker 5: I saw I follow More's day on Facebook, so I
[1:36:43] Speaker 5: saw him posts that they're not performing, so I.
[1:36:46] Speaker 7: Was really good. I was really glad to hear that
[1:36:49] Speaker 7: CENC Music Factory.
[1:36:50] Speaker 5: That was Freedom Williams of CENC Music Factory rolling the
[1:36:53] Speaker 5: picture this, so let's put some respect on Freedom William's name.
[1:36:56] Speaker 7: And they had more than one big hit. They also
[1:36:58] Speaker 7: had things that make you go.
[1:36:59] Speaker 2: Hmm, so they had gonna make Michael Stott, Michael Stott,
[1:37:02] Speaker 2: Michael Stott, Michael Michael, I'm serious, Michael Stopp Michael Stopping.
[1:37:08] Speaker 7: I still have a CD.
[1:37:09] Speaker 2: I still have a CD, Michael. They got one hit,
[1:37:13] Speaker 2: yeah too, well, Gonna Meet You Sweat was the big hit.
[1:37:16] Speaker 2: And wait a minute, and and and the only reason
[1:37:19] Speaker 2: that song wasn't hit was because of Martha washed, and
[1:37:22] Speaker 2: she wasn't even in the video. She wasn't in the video,
[1:37:26] Speaker 2: she wasn't in the credits. She had the suit, they asked,
[1:37:29] Speaker 2: so she ain't gonna be there, So so you're gonna
[1:37:32] Speaker 2: have somebody on the train. Wrong, you're gonna have somebody
[1:37:34] Speaker 2: on her track singing her part.
[1:37:37] Speaker 7: Well, I don't know if they're gonna have somebody else.
[1:37:39] Speaker 15: If you ain't having nobody seeing like her, well, nobody
[1:37:43] Speaker 15: can see it like Martha.
[1:37:44] Speaker 2: Just like, just like, just like she had the suit
[1:37:47] Speaker 2: of other group for everybody, everybody. When they wouldn't put
[1:37:50] Speaker 2: her in the video, they put some other sexy woman
[1:37:52] Speaker 2: in the video and that was her voice too, right,
[1:37:55] Speaker 2: Yeah that was but but but but yo ass literally
[1:37:58] Speaker 2: about you for what you think is a two hit
[1:38:01] Speaker 2: wonder not a one hit wonder.
[1:38:04] Speaker 7: Well, Van Vanilla is the one hit wonder.
[1:38:06] Speaker 2: I said that. But if you vouch your like C
[1:38:11] Speaker 2: and C Music Factory had a whole album banging.
[1:38:15] Speaker 7: I didn't say they had a whole album banging, not
[1:38:17] Speaker 7: even half an album. I said they had two hits,
[1:38:21] Speaker 7: not even a quota of an album, Okay, And then
[1:38:23] Speaker 7: and then that was that was for Breese.
[1:38:26] Speaker 2: Matt Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt McDonald, Matt, I mean,
[1:38:30] Speaker 2: I can't listen to anymore this from Michael.
[1:38:32] Speaker 6: Matt gone, Why did we come on this.
[1:38:36] Speaker 16: Show and let this happen every week that we come on? Michael,
[1:38:39] Speaker 16: I don't understand it, But that's a comination, you know.
[1:38:43] Speaker 7: Look, I ain't get a chance, Michael.
[1:38:48] Speaker 2: Here's my thought.
[1:38:48] Speaker 9: Here's my thought.
[1:38:49] Speaker 16: So I think Michael was kind of getting to where
[1:38:51] Speaker 16: I was, which is I'm a little dubious that they
[1:38:55] Speaker 16: didn't necessarily know what they were signing up for. I mean,
[1:38:57] Speaker 16: that's plausible, right, But it's also plausible that they wanted
[1:39:01] Speaker 16: the exposure and they're now ducking out because of backlash
[1:39:05] Speaker 16: or whatever the case may be. Although I think in
[1:39:07] Speaker 16: this case it's probably more likely they really were misled,
[1:39:10] Speaker 16: because it sounds like that's what I think Young NC
[1:39:13] Speaker 16: said in a statement. I could be incorrect, but that
[1:39:15] Speaker 16: there's there were some details that they were unclear on,
[1:39:19] Speaker 16: and once they found out what it.
[1:39:20] Speaker 9: Really was, they decided to back out.
[1:39:21] Speaker 16: But look, people acting their own self interest. So I
[1:39:24] Speaker 16: wouldn't be surprised if some of these artists said, let
[1:39:26] Speaker 16: me go ahead and get it because I'll get the
[1:39:27] Speaker 16: exposure and I'll get the money, and I'll deal with fans,
[1:39:30] Speaker 16: you know, being mad about it. And I think on
[1:39:32] Speaker 16: some level there is a question about, you know, with entertainers,
[1:39:36] Speaker 16: to what extent should they be allowed to apply their trade,
[1:39:39] Speaker 16: even if it's for somebody that you don't like. However,
[1:39:41] Speaker 16: we also have a lot of evidence, you know, in
[1:39:43] Speaker 16: the past of artists who stood up and said, I'm
[1:39:45] Speaker 16: not going to perform here because you don't allow black
[1:39:48] Speaker 16: people to perform, right, or I'm not going to perform
[1:39:49] Speaker 16: here because of your stance on whatever other issues. So
[1:39:52] Speaker 16: you know, morally, if that's something that is really a
[1:39:55] Speaker 16: conviction of yours, you should be able to stand up
[1:39:56] Speaker 16: and say I'm not going to perform at a Trump
[1:39:58] Speaker 16: aligned event. And that's it makes me think maybe they
[1:40:01] Speaker 16: concealed all the details to try to dupe them into performing.
[1:40:04] Speaker 16: And we know that's kind of his mod, right, it's
[1:40:06] Speaker 16: not being straight up about things and being fraudulent, So
[1:40:09] Speaker 16: that might have been exactly what happened here.
[1:40:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, uh, huh, okay. Bomb line is uh, they are
[1:40:16] Speaker 2: gonna cancel. They all going cancel, uh, and Trump gonna
[1:40:20] Speaker 2: be out there doing his dumb ass dance by himself
[1:40:22] Speaker 2: and maybe go ahead a village people perform every single day,
[1:40:25] Speaker 2: All right, y'all. Department employee the Department of Labor receiving
[1:40:29] Speaker 2: long emails strongly urging them to report violations of the
[1:40:32] Speaker 2: Trip Administration's ban on diversity, equity and inclusion. The emails
[1:40:36] Speaker 2: set THEDL workers on May twenty seconds said that DEI
[1:40:38] Speaker 2: related discrimination could include any employment action as motivated by
[1:40:42] Speaker 2: an employees, apple or applicants raise sex, national origin, or religion.
[1:40:46] Speaker 2: It could also include practices like demographic targets or quotas
[1:40:49] Speaker 2: in hiring or promotion, excluding candidates from training or networking opportunities,
[1:40:53] Speaker 2: and DEI training that stereotypes or demean employees from the
[1:40:58] Speaker 2: man who demeans. The MEMOI shows the d OL's commitment
[1:41:02] Speaker 2: to continue the Trump administration's efforts to crack down on
[1:41:04] Speaker 2: diversity initiatives. Following a twenty twenty five executive order, workers
[1:41:08] Speaker 2: can report alleged violations for up to three years under
[1:41:11] Speaker 2: the Office of Special Council Statue of Limitations, meaning they
[1:41:14] Speaker 2: can flag instances dating back to the Bodist administration. Idiots,
[1:41:20] Speaker 2: you don't have any control over that folks on money.
[1:41:22] Speaker 2: The murder trial for nineteen year old Carmelo Anthony Carmelo
[1:41:26] Speaker 2: Anthony begins in Collin County, Texas. Anthony's charged with first
[1:41:29] Speaker 2: degree murder in the death of Austin Metcalf. On April second,
[1:41:32] Speaker 2: twenty twenty five, Metcalf and Anthony Bout, seventeen, got into
[1:41:35] Speaker 2: an altercation at a friscal isd track need. Anthony says
[1:41:38] Speaker 2: he was only protecting himself with Metcalf, according to witness
[1:41:41] Speaker 2: statements to police, tried to shove Anthony, who attended a
[1:41:45] Speaker 2: rival high school, out of a pop up tent. That's
[1:41:48] Speaker 2: when Anthony grabbed a knife from his backpack and stabbed
[1:41:51] Speaker 2: Metcalf in the heart. The mostly charged, high profile case
[1:41:55] Speaker 2: has led to protest threats and doxing calls targeting both
[1:41:58] Speaker 2: families and even a judge involved in the case. Thelm
[1:42:01] Speaker 2: was going to be attending the trial and covering for us.
[1:42:04] Speaker 2: This has gotten lots of attention. And just for folks
[1:42:07] Speaker 2: who don't know, Colin County is north of Dallas County,
[1:42:10] Speaker 2: but it ain't Dallas County.
[1:42:13] Speaker 4: It is not Dallas County by a long shot.
[1:42:18] Speaker 2: So explain. Just give people just a sense of what
[1:42:22] Speaker 2: it's been like with all of the coverage of this
[1:42:25] Speaker 2: of this case.
[1:42:27] Speaker 14: So when this case first happened, I started reporting on
[1:42:31] Speaker 14: it because I wanted people to understand what the law
[1:42:36] Speaker 14: actually means.
[1:42:36] Speaker 4: When it's self defense.
[1:42:38] Speaker 14: It was self defense element from the beginning, So covering
[1:42:42] Speaker 14: the story it has become one of the most toxic
[1:42:47] Speaker 14: environments because it became race related, and not so much
[1:42:51] Speaker 14: on the African American side. It immediately became a maga
[1:42:55] Speaker 14: infused racial tone and I can identify the people who started,
[1:43:02] Speaker 14: but that's not the point. The point is this case
[1:43:05] Speaker 14: should be tried in the court where jurors have the
[1:43:09] Speaker 14: ability to hear the evidence and make a determination on
[1:43:13] Speaker 14: the law. But because it's been so fueled, we have
[1:43:16] Speaker 14: now to think, Okay, it's the jury pool being tainted
[1:43:19] Speaker 14: because of race. And that's when it comes to Colin County.
[1:43:23] Speaker 14: Colin County is one of the counties that if you
[1:43:25] Speaker 14: get in troving Colin County, you better hope that God
[1:43:30] Speaker 14: send all his disciples down because especially if you're a
[1:43:33] Speaker 14: person of color. But covering it, I can even attest
[1:43:37] Speaker 14: to me receiving phone calls of threats because I covered it.
[1:43:41] Speaker 14: But I ain't never scared, especially when it comes to
[1:43:43] Speaker 14: my people. Because self defense is such a hard element
[1:43:47] Speaker 14: for people to grasp. I wanted to break it down
[1:43:51] Speaker 14: so people can understand you cannot approach someone, take their items,
[1:43:57] Speaker 14: assault them, which is considered ay in the state of Texas,
[1:44:02] Speaker 14: and they don't get to defend themselves with the force
[1:44:06] Speaker 14: that they believe is necessary to detain the threat that
[1:44:10] Speaker 14: an individual in both upon them. So, when we're looking
[1:44:15] Speaker 14: at it from a full lens, I believe that the
[1:44:19] Speaker 14: way that the court has put the gag order has
[1:44:22] Speaker 14: forced people to the documents to be sealed, was the
[1:44:27] Speaker 14: best thing for the integrity of this case.
[1:44:32] Speaker 2: Well, it's going to be certainly interesting to see what happens,
[1:44:35] Speaker 2: and so we'll look forward to your daily dispatches from
[1:44:40] Speaker 2: the court. All right, let's quickly go to our Black
[1:44:42] Speaker 2: Student Network headlines. We do actually do that after the break.
[1:44:45] Speaker 2: We'll come out after the break, we'll do the Black
[1:44:46] Speaker 2: Stow Network headlines. Then I gotta show y'all, crazy ass
[1:44:49] Speaker 2: racist white people you're watching.
[1:44:51] Speaker 6: Roland Martin built it them a blackstar network.
[1:44:57] Speaker 21: No election in Georgia will ever be saying I can
[1:45:00] Speaker 21: be able to tell black folk give both don't matter
[1:45:02] Speaker 21: in two years when it's the gubernatorial race and these
[1:45:05] Speaker 21: state legislative races that we don't have the power to
[1:45:08] Speaker 21: win a state Senate seat.
[1:45:10] Speaker 3: Now I say that, but this is the copyat This
[1:45:12] Speaker 3: is a tricky part.
[1:45:14] Speaker 21: This was possible because there were more resources than we've
[1:45:16] Speaker 21: ever seen in this state. The question is going to be,
[1:45:20] Speaker 21: now that we've done save the country and white folks
[1:45:22] Speaker 21: in the country aren't feeling like the world is falling apart,
[1:45:26] Speaker 21: is they're going to be the same kind of investment
[1:45:28] Speaker 21: in black live organizations and in black communities. If there
[1:45:32] Speaker 21: is there's no election in the state that we can't win,
[1:45:35] Speaker 21: there's no election in the South we can't win, We'll
[1:45:38] Speaker 21: still be motivated, we still will learn lessons. Black folks
[1:45:41] Speaker 21: still going to be amp. But at the end of
[1:45:42] Speaker 21: the day, it's not sustainable. We can't really count on
[1:45:45] Speaker 21: external funding.
[1:45:46] Speaker 3: Long term.
[1:45:47] Speaker 21: Independent politics requires independent money. When we can combine that
[1:45:51] Speaker 21: kind of economic power with the political power, now we're talking,
[1:45:56] Speaker 21: that's nation building.
[1:45:57] Speaker 7: That's what we're trying to get to.
[1:46:08] Speaker 2: All right, folks, let me tell you about chapter Now.
[1:46:11] Speaker 2: If you're in medicare or about to be, the system
[1:46:14] Speaker 2: is not set up to work for you. Too much fine,
[1:46:17] Speaker 2: too many plans, and too many people making money off
[1:46:19] Speaker 2: of your confusion.
[1:46:21] Speaker 6: And look, we're used to this.
[1:46:22] Speaker 2: We're no strangers to systems that don't have our best
[1:46:24] Speaker 2: interest at heart. But we don't have to accept it
[1:46:27] Speaker 2: when it comes to Medicare. That's why I'm telling you
[1:46:30] Speaker 2: about Chapter. Their advisors are independent and honest. In fact,
[1:46:35] Speaker 2: they're the only Medicare advisors that compare every plan nationwide,
[1:46:41] Speaker 2: and they're focused on one thing, what works for you.
[1:46:46] Speaker 2: If there's a better plan out there, they'll find it.
[1:46:50] Speaker 6: If you're already in the right one, they'll tell you
[1:46:52] Speaker 6: that too. There are no games.
[1:46:54] Speaker 2: Just last year, people who switched with Chapter saved an
[1:46:58] Speaker 2: average up eleven hundred dollars. It's twenty minutes and a
[1:47:02] Speaker 2: real person. It's completely free. My parents actually have already
[1:47:06] Speaker 2: called Mom, sent me a text. Folks, Give Chapter a

[1:47:32] Speaker 17: Hi, I'm Swing Cash Basketball Hall of Famer and you're
[1:47:34] Speaker 17: watching Blackstar Network.
[1:47:39] Speaker 2: All right, folks have a black stud Network headlines Britty Noble.
[1:47:44] Speaker 22: A pregnant woman and a four year old from Ghana
[1:47:46] Speaker 22: who have been detained for more than a week at
[1:47:49] Speaker 22: a Washington, DC airport, will be heading back home. Thirty

[1:47:55] Speaker 22: DoLS International Airport May nineteenth with the Vallid tourist visa
[1:47:59] Speaker 22: to seek medical treatment for her son's deformed hands. US

[1:48:06] Speaker 22: woman who came to the United States for medical appointment
[1:48:09] Speaker 22: for her child must be released from the hold room
[1:48:12] Speaker 22: at the airport before the end of the day. She
[1:48:15] Speaker 22: brought her son to the US in twenty twenty four
[1:48:17] Speaker 22: to see a specialist for physical abnormalities. The ICE agent
[1:48:22] Speaker 22: accused of shooting of Venezuelan immigrant during Minnesota's controversial Operation
[1:48:27] Speaker 22: Metro Surge was arrested in Texas today. The Department of
[1:48:30] Speaker 22: Homeland Security General agents and Texas Rangers arrested fifty two
[1:48:34] Speaker 22: year old Christian Castro. Castro was charged with four counts
[1:48:37] Speaker 22: of second degree assault in one count of falsely reporting
[1:48:41] Speaker 22: of crime for the January fourteenth incident. Authorities say he
[1:48:44] Speaker 22: charged through the front door of twenty four year old
[1:48:47] Speaker 22: Julio Cesar Sosa Salsa's home, shooting him in the leg.
[1:48:51] Speaker 22: As they were searching for twenty six year old Alfredo
[1:48:54] Speaker 22: Alejandro Aljorna. Castro lied about what happened, saying that Sosa
[1:48:59] Speaker 22: Salice SATs packed federal agents with a shovel and a broomstick.
[1:49:02] Speaker 22: Investigators later determined that the account was false and that
[1:49:06] Speaker 22: federal prosecutors dropped the case against Soci. Silice, the former
[1:49:11] Speaker 22: superintendent for Iowa's largest school district, was sentenced to two
[1:49:15] Speaker 22: years in prison. Today is arrested the former leader of
[1:49:18] Speaker 22: the Des Moines Public School District in Roberts in September.
[1:49:22] Speaker 22: Roberts bleeded guilty in January to falsely claiming to be
[1:49:26] Speaker 22: a US citizen and illegally possessing firearms. Prosecutors say Roberts
[1:49:30] Speaker 22: knowingly lacked employment authorization during his nearly two decade career
[1:49:34] Speaker 22: in urban education and submitted a counterfeit Social Security card
[1:49:39] Speaker 22: to get the job. In the courtroom, Roberts wiped away
[1:49:42] Speaker 22: tears and told US District Judge Rebecca good Game Ebinger
[1:49:46] Speaker 22: that he regretted what he did. Robert's attorney said that
[1:49:49] Speaker 22: they expect that he will be deported to his native
[1:49:52] Speaker 22: home in Guyana, South America after he serves his sentence.
[1:49:57] Speaker 7: Well.
[1:49:57] Speaker 22: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing a print a commemorative
[1:50:01] Speaker 22: two hundred and fifty dollars bill featuring President Donald Trump
[1:50:05] Speaker 22: to mark the country's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. A
[1:50:08] Speaker 22: Treasury Department spokesperson confirmed the plans in a statement, saying
[1:50:12] Speaker 22: it was conducting appropriate planning and due diligence in response
[1:50:16] Speaker 22: to active legislation. South Carolina Republican Representative Joe Wilson introduced
[1:50:21] Speaker 22: that legislation. The design features a stern portrait of Trump
[1:50:25] Speaker 22: with the flax colors, the two fifty logo, and the
[1:50:28] Speaker 22: president's signature. US law generally prohibits living people from appearing
[1:50:33] Speaker 22: on currency, meaning any exception would have to be authorized
[1:50:37] Speaker 22: by Congress. Black triplets, who doctors once said might never survive,
[1:50:43] Speaker 22: are now proud HBCU graduates. Gabrielle, Nathaniel and Janelle Morency
[1:50:48] Speaker 22: were born prematurely at thirty weeks. Doctors warned their parents
[1:50:53] Speaker 22: that carrying triplets made the pregnancy high risk. They recommended
[1:50:57] Speaker 22: reducing the pregnancy to increase the chance of survival. However,
[1:51:01] Speaker 22: the Morrency's refused, and now nearly two decades later, all
[1:51:05] Speaker 22: three have graduated from Oakwood University. Janelle is pursuing a
[1:51:09] Speaker 22: career in trauma surgery, Daniel is headed into cybersecurity, and
[1:51:14] Speaker 22: Gabriel is headed to Johns Hopkins University to pursue electrical engineering.
[1:51:19] Speaker 4: Their parents say they feel.
[1:51:21] Speaker 22: Blessed and grateful for what they describe as a god
[1:51:24] Speaker 22: given gift.
[1:51:26] Speaker 2: All right, Brittany, be sure, thanks a lot to be
[1:51:28] Speaker 2: sure to have watched The Breakdown Britay Noble everyday, noon
[1:51:30] Speaker 2: eastern on the Blackstar Network. Every day, noon eastern on
[1:51:33] Speaker 2: the Blackstar Network. All right, y'all, that's another day, and
[1:51:36] Speaker 2: racist white folk will do what racist white folks do.
[1:51:39] Speaker 2: In Tennessee, this white hoolokan got caught on Camber repeatedly
[1:51:43] Speaker 2: using the end word while boasting about being in Tennessee.
[1:51:56] Speaker 18: I don't.
[1:51:59] Speaker 2: Tennessee. So you talk trash and then when you realize
[1:52:14] Speaker 2: they're recording that you want to duck. No, that's not
[1:52:18] Speaker 2: quite how those things go. And and of course, uh,
[1:52:22] Speaker 2: they have been posting him. He's quite familiar now on
[1:52:26] Speaker 2: social media. Fa fo, matt.
[1:52:32] Speaker 16: Rest ifs a loquidor the thing speaks for itself. I
[1:52:35] Speaker 16: have nothing to add besides fa fo. I mean, at
[1:52:38] Speaker 16: this point, you know what time it is. And also,
[1:52:41] Speaker 16: I mean you have no expectation of privacy in public.
[1:52:43] Speaker 16: You should presume people are recording. How many dumb things
[1:52:46] Speaker 16: do we see on the internet like this all the time?
[1:52:49] Speaker 16: So really bold for him to do that, but then
[1:52:51] Speaker 16: to try to hide his hands after throwing the rock
[1:52:53] Speaker 16: and trying to hide.
[1:52:54] Speaker 9: Sorry, chief, you can't is what it is.
[1:52:56] Speaker 2: Yep. And his name is Reichen Monahan from Murfreesboro, Murcfreesboro, Tennessee.
[1:53:03] Speaker 2: Uh yeah, you now are known all across social media, Riichen.
[1:53:10] Speaker 2: So congratulations you're on candidate camera. The other answer didn't happen.
[1:53:14] Speaker 2: In the graduation, a white woman was allegedly harassing a
[1:53:17] Speaker 2: black family and used racial slurs. Well, she got what
[1:53:22] Speaker 2: she didn't know she asked for when she looked at
[1:53:26] Speaker 2: the black woman, grabs her phone and just tosses it,
[1:53:31] Speaker 2: roll it.
[1:53:39] Speaker 11: Who's doing.
[1:53:42] Speaker 2: Make it came? David? Make it came? Okay, Yeah, so
[1:54:43] Speaker 2: that's another angle. So check out this this angle here
[1:54:46] Speaker 2: so you can actually see what happens. Watch this. Are you.
[1:55:05] Speaker 15: Fucking go into jail?
[1:55:11] Speaker 6: Okay?
[1:55:11] Speaker 2: All right, before I go to my panel, I gotta
[1:55:14] Speaker 2: go ahead and do this. This is a public service announcement.
[1:55:16] Speaker 2: Now I'm gonna get panel up. This is really a
[1:55:19] Speaker 2: public service announcement. All of you. When you're capturing these
[1:55:22] Speaker 2: things in video, can you do me a favor? Can
[1:55:25] Speaker 2: y'all please stop shooting vertical? Pull the video back up?
[1:55:29] Speaker 6: Henry?
[1:55:29] Speaker 2: See the problem is when y'all shoot this way, this
[1:55:32] Speaker 2: is what we get. The black bars on the left
[1:55:36] Speaker 2: and the right, so it's narrow. Okay, that's a problem.
[1:55:39] Speaker 6: So do me a favor.
[1:55:41] Speaker 2: If you're gonna shoot somebody getting they ass whooped, I
[1:55:44] Speaker 2: would like for y'all to shoot horizontal or landscape.
[1:55:47] Speaker 6: Now let me show you. Okay.
[1:55:49] Speaker 2: Also, here's other tip right here. Okay, if you're gonna
[1:55:53] Speaker 2: shoot video, can y'all do me a favor and not
[1:55:56] Speaker 2: screw up the actual action? Okay, Henry roller video, y'all
[1:56:01] Speaker 2: said talking about audio audio, give me audio.
[1:56:10] Speaker 8: A wow.
[1:56:15] Speaker 2: Okay, all right, okay, so whoever's shot? I don't understand
[1:56:19] Speaker 2: why you pointed the camera down. You missed the punch.
[1:56:23] Speaker 6: Okay, you missed the punch.
[1:56:24] Speaker 2: Okay you I mean you missed the punch. I mean
[1:56:29] Speaker 2: you actually you missed. We called that missing the money shot. Okay,
[1:56:35] Speaker 2: you call that missing the money shot? All right? So
[1:56:38] Speaker 2: A lock reminded me. We went in Cincinnati at the
[1:56:40] Speaker 2: music festid that music festival, and I go on Snoop
[1:56:44] Speaker 2: Dogg calls me out to go on stage, and we dancing,
[1:56:46] Speaker 2: and Antoine is shooting and he actually misses the money shot,
[1:56:50] Speaker 2: and I'm like, dude, how did you miss the shot?
[1:56:54] Speaker 2: That's why you're here? Okay, so do men favorite. And
[1:56:57] Speaker 2: also here's the other thing. Ya got too much headroom? Okay, yeah,
[1:57:01] Speaker 2: got too much headroom?
[1:57:02] Speaker 3: All right.
[1:57:02] Speaker 6: I mean I'm just saying, all.
[1:57:03] Speaker 2: Right, you're cutting the head off. So if you're gonna
[1:57:06] Speaker 2: shoot video, I need you to have a little bit
[1:57:08] Speaker 2: more space up top. So let's give us some headroom.
[1:57:11] Speaker 2: I need you to keep the camera steady. I'm just
[1:57:13] Speaker 2: gonna show y'all an easy trick. Okay, So don't hold
[1:57:16] Speaker 2: the phone like this. What you do is you take
[1:57:18] Speaker 2: these two middle fingers and you place them on the
[1:57:21] Speaker 2: back of the phone. This is all how you take
[1:57:23] Speaker 2: selfish and you put that index finger, that pinky finger
[1:57:28] Speaker 2: below and put that index finger on top. And then
[1:57:31] Speaker 2: what you do is you don't have your phone deep
[1:57:34] Speaker 2: into your palm. What you do is you put it
[1:57:36] Speaker 2: right there in that little nook right there. And then
[1:57:39] Speaker 2: that's how you now are able to control your video.
[1:57:44] Speaker 2: Now you can sit here and guess what. I can
[1:57:46] Speaker 2: shoot right handed. I can flip this sucker. I can
[1:57:49] Speaker 2: shoot left handed. Nope, Filma, you're doing it wrong. You're
[1:57:51] Speaker 2: absolutely doing it wrong. Filma.
[1:57:53] Speaker 6: That's just totally wrong.
[1:57:54] Speaker 2: Okay.
[1:57:55] Speaker 6: So I'm just I'm just saying because that way when.
[1:57:58] Speaker 2: Y'all, when y'all catch somebody getting scored Michael, you're doing
[1:58:02] Speaker 2: it wrong too. When you catch somebody getting scored on,
[1:58:05] Speaker 2: you can actually shoot all of the video. We can't
[1:58:09] Speaker 2: see the dipping down, you missed the punch, all of that.
[1:58:12] Speaker 2: But let's get back to it. Bob ling here. These
[1:58:16] Speaker 2: white folks act a fool. They show their racism. Thell
[1:58:20] Speaker 2: them like you a lawyer, okay, And people are coming
[1:58:23] Speaker 2: and saying, actually, when they video, somebody said, oh, y'all
[1:58:26] Speaker 2: going to jail, and the person's like, no, we didn't
[1:58:28] Speaker 2: go to jail. We stay for the graduation. But when
[1:58:30] Speaker 2: a white woman grabbed her phone off of her body
[1:58:33] Speaker 2: and tossed it, she actually was actually committee assault, and
[1:58:40] Speaker 2: the black woman defended herself.
[1:58:43] Speaker 4: That's absolutely correct.
[1:58:45] Speaker 14: That is considered offensive contact as soon as you touch
[1:58:49] Speaker 14: someone and you are the aggressor. Depending on what state
[1:58:55] Speaker 14: you in, that can that can be some simple ass
[1:58:58] Speaker 14: a class C all the way up to a felony.
[1:59:01] Speaker 4: Now she better be glad. That's all that black women in. See.
[1:59:04] Speaker 14: I know that black woman held some compulsion because if
[1:59:06] Speaker 14: they was outside in that street and that open field,
[1:59:10] Speaker 14: it would have been up and stuck with her. And
[1:59:13] Speaker 14: this is the thing with these white individuals. We are
[1:59:16] Speaker 14: not our ancestors, and in regards to what we gonna
[1:59:21] Speaker 14: make you taste our ancestors. So if you want to
[1:59:23] Speaker 14: knuck like the Negro Spiritual in Atlanta, we will bug back.
[1:59:28] Speaker 4: And this is an example. Don't knock if you can't buck.
[1:59:31] Speaker 14: And we know these white people are soft as the
[1:59:34] Speaker 14: pillow cushion because they want to talk more than they
[1:59:39] Speaker 14: use their hands. But when we use ours, then they
[1:59:41] Speaker 14: want to be like, oh the press charges. No, you
[1:59:44] Speaker 14: the one that's going to jail, honey, because we let
[1:59:46] Speaker 14: you talk, we let you react, and we respond.
[1:59:50] Speaker 4: Period.
[1:59:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, and just I mean I just said over and
[1:59:53] Speaker 2: over and over again here, Michael, And it's real simple.
[1:59:57] Speaker 2: These racists show themselves. Donal Trump embolden these folks and
[2:00:04] Speaker 2: in a lot of cases they getting their asses what.
[2:00:08] Speaker 7: We continue to happen.
[2:00:10] Speaker 5: So yeah, you know a lot of them get out
[2:00:13] Speaker 5: here with this false courage and they run up on
[2:00:16] Speaker 5: the wrong person, mess.
[2:00:18] Speaker 2: Around, find out.
[2:00:21] Speaker 5: So uh, you know, it's not a lot to add
[2:00:26] Speaker 5: to this, but public service announcement to white people. You
[2:00:31] Speaker 5: need to leave black people alone. I'm telling you right
[2:00:34] Speaker 5: now because it's uh if you if you study our ancestors,
[2:00:38] Speaker 5: we fought back and shot back to just just just
[2:00:41] Speaker 5: study their history, read the book that's now and all
[2:00:44] Speaker 5: the stuff to get you killed. How guns made the
[2:00:46] Speaker 5: civil rights movement possible. Our professor Charlsie Cop Jr. You've
[2:00:49] Speaker 5: interviewed Professor CHARLSIEA Cop Junior Rowland on your on your
[2:00:52] Speaker 5: show News one Now Roland Mark Man.
[2:00:53] Speaker 7: You had them on your radio show.
[2:00:55] Speaker 5: So yeah, yeah, you're all gonna mess around and run
[2:00:59] Speaker 5: up on the wrong person, and this is what's gonna
[2:01:01] Speaker 5: happen to you.
[2:01:01] Speaker 2: And all I'm simply saying is everything that happens and
[2:01:05] Speaker 2: it just capture. We're gonna show y'all. But please do
[2:01:08] Speaker 2: my favor. Stop shooting videos vertical. Okay, it's getting them
[2:01:11] Speaker 2: my damn nerves.
[2:01:12] Speaker 4: I like I learned something.
[2:01:14] Speaker 2: I learned something, Okay, Please do not shoot vertical. Vertical
[2:01:17] Speaker 2: is nine sixteen, Okay, television, it's sixteen nine. This is
[2:01:24] Speaker 2: nine sixteen, this is sixteen nine. You should always shoot video.
[2:01:30] Speaker 2: And if you're gonna shoot the video this way, Matt,
[2:01:33] Speaker 2: grab your phone. Please do you know what to do now?
[2:01:35] Speaker 9: I'm definitely not doing that now.
[2:01:38] Speaker 2: I don't want to hear Matt you know how to
[2:01:39] Speaker 2: do this?
[2:01:40] Speaker 7: No, I will die on this hill.
[2:01:41] Speaker 2: But you're right, Matt, Right, Matt, you don't know how
[2:01:43] Speaker 2: to do this video.
[2:01:44] Speaker 9: But I'm not doing it.
[2:01:45] Speaker 7: Matt, I'm not finna do it so you can come
[2:01:48] Speaker 7: up with something crazy. I'm mad. No, I'm not.
[2:01:50] Speaker 2: No, I'm simply I'm instructing. I'm simply instructing everybody on
[2:01:55] Speaker 2: the panel. And first of all, here's the other deal
[2:01:57] Speaker 2: here and replay that video again. Play the video again. Okay,
[2:02:01] Speaker 2: all right, see right there, you ain't gonna play it,
[2:02:03] Speaker 2: just stop it right there. Okay, y'all right there that's
[2:02:05] Speaker 2: a dirty screen. Okay, okay, let me real clear. When
[2:02:08] Speaker 2: your video looks foggy, that means your screen is dirty. Okay,
[2:02:12] Speaker 2: let me help you out with this here. Okay, So
[2:02:14] Speaker 2: do me a favor. When your screen is dirty, don't
[2:02:16] Speaker 2: do this right just saying, don't that that that's a smudge.
[2:02:24] Speaker 2: Don't do that. So you should properly clean your lens
[2:02:27] Speaker 2: front and back. But if you're gonna be shooting your
[2:02:30] Speaker 2: back of the camera, shoot in the back. So there
[2:02:32] Speaker 2: you go. You do it this way, and so go ahead, Thelma,
[2:02:35] Speaker 2: hold your phone up, hold your phone up. Let's see
[2:02:37] Speaker 2: how you do it that, See Thelm, I told you,
[2:02:40] Speaker 2: damn it. Cut that vertical shit out. I told you
[2:02:42] Speaker 2: right no, see right there, see right there, your camera's
[2:02:45] Speaker 2: gonna be unsteady, see you got Nope, Nope, nope, because
[2:02:48] Speaker 2: see you do it. The right hand is gonna geting
[2:02:50] Speaker 2: away the lenses. Nope. Put those middle two fingers on
[2:02:53] Speaker 2: the back seat. Matt is being obstinate Okay. See Matt,
[2:02:57] Speaker 2: Matt was that child who you would say, say thank
[2:03:00] Speaker 2: you for the cookie, and he'd be like, see that.
[2:03:04] Speaker 7: Was Matt, that was mad.
[2:03:07] Speaker 2: Matt. Matt was like my twin niece Roquel, who refused
[2:03:11] Speaker 2: to say thank you and she and she didn't look
[2:03:14] Speaker 2: at me like she was she refused to do it,
[2:03:16] Speaker 2: but her twin sister, Rachel's like, thank you, thank you,
[2:03:18] Speaker 2: thank you because Rachel wanted that cookie.
[2:03:20] Speaker 4: See, so you can't leave well enough alone because I
[2:03:23] Speaker 4: hold you.
[2:03:24] Speaker 6: I agree with you, and see and see and seeing
[2:03:27] Speaker 6: right here.
[2:03:28] Speaker 2: Okay, So then Michael think he being Michael, thinks he's
[2:03:31] Speaker 2: being you know, uh, you know, he thinks he's being
[2:03:34] Speaker 2: fancied holding the portable tripod. But see, the rally is
[2:03:38] Speaker 2: you're not always going to have that, So learn how
[2:03:40] Speaker 2: to shoot, learn how to shoot this way. And last thing,
[2:03:44] Speaker 2: do my favor, turn on the function on your phone
[2:03:47] Speaker 2: that shows the lines so that way your ass ain't
[2:03:49] Speaker 2: shooting crooked. Okay, all right, that's the last class I'm
[2:03:53] Speaker 2: giving today. I just had to. I just it just
[2:03:55] Speaker 2: drives me crazy. Every time I see a sixteen by
[2:03:58] Speaker 2: nine video, it just drives me crazy. I can't I
[2:04:00] Speaker 2: just can't stand it. I can't stand it. Just get
[2:04:02] Speaker 2: some my nerves, get some nurves.
[2:04:06] Speaker 9: It just does.
[2:04:07] Speaker 2: Okay, I think that's I think that's it. I think
[2:04:11] Speaker 2: that's it. Oh Nope, that's not it. Before we go,
[2:04:13] Speaker 2: shot a fellow, please, I got a text today. Y'all
[2:04:16] Speaker 2: got text from Enit Dockett. In Enit Dockett sent me
[2:04:23] Speaker 2: a text and she said, hope you're well. Yes, paid subscribers. Still,
[2:04:30] Speaker 2: My mom in Ohio, a loyal you watcher, passed a
[2:04:34] Speaker 2: few weeks ago. By the way, she was ninety nine.
[2:04:38] Speaker 2: Enit had sent me a photo on January twenty second
[2:04:41] Speaker 2: saying her mom had turned ninety nine this week. Her
[2:04:43] Speaker 2: mom was a huge supporter of this show. She watched
[2:04:46] Speaker 2: me and she was a paid subscriber, and so certainly
[2:04:50] Speaker 2: condolesis to Enit and her mom.
[2:04:53] Speaker 6: Her mom.
[2:04:54] Speaker 2: Her mom's name was Georgia Dockett. Her name was Georgia Dockett.
[2:04:58] Speaker 2: She was from Rome, Georgie. She passed away at the
[2:05:02] Speaker 2: age of ninety nine a few weeks ago. She watched
[2:05:06] Speaker 2: this show. She supported this show. I certainly appreciate it.
[2:05:09] Speaker 2: And I say that because when we travel around this country,
[2:05:13] Speaker 2: I meet a lot of our fans, people who support
[2:05:15] Speaker 2: this show. People walk up to me and give me, literally,
[2:05:18] Speaker 2: give me money. Somebody put somebody put a check in
[2:05:22] Speaker 2: my hand.
[2:05:22] Speaker 6: We were in Montgomery.
[2:05:24] Speaker 2: These things happen all the time, and we appreciate that
[2:05:28] Speaker 2: because support of this show is critical. We don't have
[2:05:31] Speaker 2: millionaires and billionaires cutting checks. I was reading the story
[2:05:34] Speaker 2: of the Daily Wire. That's that's Ben Shapiro's group, and
[2:05:38] Speaker 2: a Texas billionaire gave him almost five million dollars to
[2:05:42] Speaker 2: start to start the Daily Wire. That's what happens right
[2:05:45] Speaker 2: wing media. They're cutting them crazy amounts of checks every
[2:05:49] Speaker 2: single day. And y'all got to understand black on media. Listen, folks,
[2:05:56] Speaker 2: folks don't have jobs and land people off. And I'm
[2:05:58] Speaker 2: telling you right now, they almost going to be Fema
[2:06:00] Speaker 2: was a lawyer Dallais. She's gonna be at that trial.
[2:06:03] Speaker 2: I will be shocked. And Film's gonna let us know.
[2:06:06] Speaker 2: I will be shocked. If you have any black OneD
[2:06:10] Speaker 2: media who's gonna be at that trial? You gonna have
[2:06:14] Speaker 2: white media. I'm telling you right now, You're gonna have
[2:06:16] Speaker 2: local media there. Conservative media is gonna be out there.
[2:06:20] Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised that these networks out there, and
[2:06:22] Speaker 2: that's the whole thing.
[2:06:23] Speaker 6: We see this all the time, and.
[2:06:27] Speaker 2: So those things happen, and this is what we have
[2:06:29] Speaker 2: to support black on media because I'm telling y'all, there
[2:06:32] Speaker 2: are stories that happen all around the country that don't
[2:06:34] Speaker 2: get any coverage, any attention, and that's why it matters.
[2:06:38] Speaker 2: In fact, we talked about black on media on Monday.
[2:06:41] Speaker 2: On Monday, we're gonna be simulcasting a film along with
[2:06:46] Speaker 2: Joey ane Red. She's gonna be a Simoncastle. This pullographic up.
[2:06:49] Speaker 2: It's called Love, Joy and Power. This is the documentary
[2:06:52] Speaker 2: on Black Voters Matter, and it's taking place on Monday,
[2:06:59] Speaker 2: and it's a fascinating documentary and we've had we've talked
[2:07:05] Speaker 2: about before and again this is a perfect example of
[2:07:08] Speaker 2: when you actually can own it. MS NOLES, ABC, NBC, CBS,
[2:07:13] Speaker 2: cn N. They're not gonna be simulcasting this.
[2:07:15] Speaker 7: We are.
[2:07:16] Speaker 2: So we're gonna be using this platform to actually simulcast
[2:07:19] Speaker 2: that as well. Also pull up the Juneteenth, so that's
[2:07:24] Speaker 2: gonna be Juneteenth, of course is gonna be on a Friday,
[2:07:28] Speaker 2: but that weekend they're gonna be events taking place all
[2:07:31] Speaker 2: across the country the juneteenth Week of Action. If you
[2:07:35] Speaker 2: go to the website, you see it right there. Freedom
[2:07:42] Speaker 2: Summer twenty twenty six, Freedom Summer between twenty menth favuy y'all.
[2:07:45] Speaker 2: Let's put that now a lower third because we can
[2:07:46] Speaker 2: battle to see that undographic Freedom summertween twenty six dot
[2:07:49] Speaker 2: com for more details. This is the follow up to
[2:07:53] Speaker 2: what took place on May sixteenth in Montgomery, Alabama. It
[2:07:57] Speaker 2: is about again keeping the pressure, keeping the pressure on.
[2:08:02] Speaker 2: We also want to remind y'all, want y'all to remind
[2:08:04] Speaker 2: y'all as well that we're trying. We've already sur passed
[2:08:07] Speaker 2: a thousand. I want us to hit two thousand. On
[2:08:10] Speaker 2: June twelfth and thirteenth. In two weeks, Bishop William Reverend
[2:08:14] Speaker 2: to William Barber and pairs of the Breach will be training.
[2:08:17] Speaker 2: It will be a virtual training to teach people when
[2:08:20] Speaker 2: it comes to registering folks to vote, organizing and mobilizing.
[2:08:24] Speaker 2: If we want you to sign up, what you do
[2:08:26] Speaker 2: is go to Blackstar network dot com, click on that link.
[2:08:30] Speaker 2: You can click us out of that link, or go
[2:08:31] Speaker 2: to Repairs of the Breach website and you can sign up.
[2:08:34] Speaker 2: We initially did we want initially one of the thousand
[2:08:36] Speaker 2: Black Men or surpassed that, but sisters were hitting us up.
[2:08:40] Speaker 2: Actually initially one of a thousand Hourpas and Kakatsu were
[2:08:44] Speaker 2: in D nine groups, and non D nine we're hitting
[2:08:46] Speaker 2: us up as well. I'm still getting emails and so
[2:08:49] Speaker 2: if you want to be a part of that, I
[2:08:51] Speaker 2: want to hit two thousand. And it doesn't matter where
[2:08:53] Speaker 2: you are to be involved in this. Here we open
[2:08:56] Speaker 2: this show talking about what they did in Louisiana and
[2:08:59] Speaker 2: the Alabama and the bottom line is here, we are
[2:09:03] Speaker 2: not going to be able to stop what these people
[2:09:05] Speaker 2: are doing if we do not use our power. And
[2:09:09] Speaker 2: so you've got Michael's there in Detroit, Madison, Corpus Christie,
[2:09:13] Speaker 2: You've got film in Dallas. We've got people on people
[2:09:16] Speaker 2: on this show from different parts of the country. And
[2:09:18] Speaker 2: I'm telling y'all, I am sick and tired of listening.
[2:09:23] Speaker 2: I'm sick and tired of listening to this generation of
[2:09:27] Speaker 2: millennials in gen Z talking about we are not our ancestors. Okay,
[2:09:35] Speaker 2: prove it, because that photo I will put up of
[2:09:39] Speaker 2: Georgia who passed away at ninety nine. I'm telling you
[2:09:43] Speaker 2: her generation, they were involved. Her generation subscribe to black newspapers.
[2:09:50] Speaker 2: Her generation fought for us to be where we are
[2:09:53] Speaker 2: right now, and this is where we have to be.
[2:09:56] Speaker 2: And so again, y'all, ain't nobody coming to save us?
[2:09:59] Speaker 2: Is just us, and we need everybody who is involved.
[2:10:03] Speaker 2: And so we hope that happened. Let me think, uh, Matt,
[2:10:06] Speaker 2: we think, uh fell one. Let me think, Michael, surely
[2:10:09] Speaker 2: appreciate it. Folks again, what we do? What is that?
[2:10:16] Speaker 7: Oh?
[2:10:16] Speaker 2: I guess you won't put up to your house? Did
[2:10:18] Speaker 2: you go to either one of those schools? Matt? Did
[2:10:20] Speaker 2: you go to either one of those schools?
[2:10:22] Speaker 7: You thought?
[2:10:24] Speaker 9: No?
[2:10:25] Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, I didn't seventeen. First of all,
[2:10:28] Speaker 7: I run it next week.
[2:10:30] Speaker 2: Okay, excuse me, forget. Excuse me if I hadn't forget,
[2:10:33] Speaker 2: Excuse me if I have, If I have speeches, excuse me,
[2:10:36] Speaker 2: have speeches. But Matt Man, also, did you did you
[2:10:40] Speaker 2: go to either one of those schools? Did you go
[2:10:42] Speaker 2: to either one of tho schools? That's not the matter.
[2:10:45] Speaker 2: I was asking where did you go to school? It
[2:10:46] Speaker 2: doesn't matter where you go to school, no matter.
[2:10:48] Speaker 9: Went to the Howard University?
[2:10:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So and it's amazing. I've never had I've
[2:10:55] Speaker 2: never ever and I've never ever, I've never ever seen
[2:10:59] Speaker 2: you reference a Howard football game ever. Ever. It's amazing
[2:11:05] Speaker 2: how you and Ricky Smiley. Ricky Smiley always talks about
[2:11:08] Speaker 2: Alabama for him talking about the Alabama school, he went
[2:11:11] Speaker 2: to Alabama A and M. So it's amazing how you
[2:11:14] Speaker 2: never ever talk about Howard.
[2:11:18] Speaker 8: Uh.
[2:11:19] Speaker 2: I mean listen, y'all even won y'all homecoming and you
[2:11:21] Speaker 2: never even mentioned y'all beat Morgan State. Yes, I thought so.
[2:11:26] Speaker 2: If No, I'm not. I'm saying you never ever brought
[2:11:37] Speaker 2: off You never ever brought up Howard more super You
[2:11:42] Speaker 2: never ever brought up Howard. You've never ever brought up
[2:11:45] Speaker 2: Howard football. Ever. You you won't even bring up the
[2:11:49] Speaker 2: ball team, the Howard basketball team. You barely want a
[2:11:53] Speaker 2: Howard shirt on this show. Matter of fact is right
[2:12:00] Speaker 2: now with Howard on it.
[2:12:02] Speaker 9: There's a lot of things.
[2:12:07] Speaker 2: Zoom out.
[2:12:08] Speaker 3: I'm in my conference room. The aesthetics.
[2:12:13] Speaker 2: Baby, you're in your conference room, so you don't have
[2:12:16] Speaker 2: a hogse up in your conference room.
[2:12:18] Speaker 7: Here's the thing, an address do you have?
[2:12:22] Speaker 8: Do you have?
[2:12:24] Speaker 2: Hold up? And I can listen and listen I can
[2:12:26] Speaker 2: tell you matter of fact, I saw video since you
[2:12:29] Speaker 2: wanted to go there, Since since you want to go
[2:12:33] Speaker 2: there back? Okay, because I saw a video the other
[2:12:36] Speaker 2: day where that was an award, that was an award
[2:12:41] Speaker 2: that was put together. Uh in that particular award, Uh,
[2:12:45] Speaker 2: it was, it was all award and they brought it
[2:12:47] Speaker 2: back and it was it was I think it was
[2:12:49] Speaker 2: called a Loan Star. I think it's called a Loan
[2:12:53] Speaker 2: Star State Showdown Trophy. Uh. In that particular trophy, what
[2:12:59] Speaker 2: it does is it showcases, uh, when when these teams
[2:13:04] Speaker 2: played each other, and there are a number of sports
[2:13:07] Speaker 2: and so you get certain points for winning, for winning
[2:13:12] Speaker 2: against each other and uh I remember seeing that video. Uh,
[2:13:17] Speaker 2: and y'all didn't win that trophy and M beat y'all
[2:13:21] Speaker 2: in multiple sports, and so the trophy retained with us.
[2:13:24] Speaker 2: So we kicked y'all ass in multiple sports. Yeah, I
[2:13:28] Speaker 2: thought so. I literally I literally saw, I literally saw
[2:13:35] Speaker 2: the video. Actually had a speech.
[2:13:39] Speaker 6: I literally saw the video, and I merely thought of you.
[2:13:42] Speaker 2: So when I find that video, I'm gonna be sure
[2:13:45] Speaker 2: to send that video uh to you to remind you
[2:13:51] Speaker 2: of who owns you. Uh so uh and while you hear, Matt,
[2:13:56] Speaker 2: do me a favorite. While you here, why don't you
[2:13:59] Speaker 2: go ahead congres No, no, while you here, why don't
[2:14:01] Speaker 2: you congratulate the women's national champions in volleyball y'all lost
[2:14:06] Speaker 2: in the semi finals if I remember.
[2:14:07] Speaker 7: Uh.
[2:14:08] Speaker 2: And but while you're doing that, wyn't you also uh,
[2:14:11] Speaker 2: the women's tennis champions while we're here? Okay, we got
[2:14:14] Speaker 2: to go now. You should you should? You should have
[2:14:17] Speaker 2: checked out when you could. Uh, so next time. So
[2:14:22] Speaker 2: next time, next time, I advise you to rep Howard
[2:14:26] Speaker 2: the school you actually went to.
[2:14:28] Speaker 6: And that's the one your mom and daddy went to.
[2:14:31] Speaker 6: Whatever you gotta tell you.
[2:14:32] Speaker 2: I I thought, so no, no, no, no no, I
