[0:07] Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one
[0:10] Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o,
[0:15] Speaker 1: man o, man Ain't God good y'all. I'm gonna say
[0:19] Speaker 1: it again, Ain't God good y'all. You know I'm gonna
[0:24] Speaker 1: share something with you this morning because it happens to
[0:27] Speaker 1: me all the time. As a matter of fact, I
[0:31] Speaker 1: got an email from my publicist just just this morning,
[0:35] Speaker 1: and you know something I've found. And I've said this before.
[0:40] Speaker 1: You know you can never ever expect to change, or
[0:47] Speaker 1: to want to change, or make the attempt to do
[0:49] Speaker 1: better any any time you try to go forward in
[0:53] Speaker 1: your life, please know that we'll be opposition. Uh. It
[1:00] Speaker 1: is an amazing thing right here. But the devil is
[1:03] Speaker 1: so busy, so busy all the time. His objective is
[1:08] Speaker 1: to see you fail or or And here's the one
[1:13] Speaker 1: you gotta be careful of. Or want you to succeed
[1:17] Speaker 1: at the wrong thing. You know what I mean. There
[1:22] Speaker 1: is such a thing as succeeding at the wrong thing.
[1:26] Speaker 1: If you know what I mean. And you can ask
[1:29] Speaker 1: many people who have done time before, all people who
[1:33] Speaker 1: are currently doing time, all people who are about to
[1:37] Speaker 1: do time or find out even worse, about to lose
[1:40] Speaker 1: their life. They're even their mere existence because they are
[1:44] Speaker 1: attempting to become good at the wrong thing. And I
[1:49] Speaker 1: don't have to get into specifics about it, y'all can
[1:52] Speaker 1: all think of something I'm talking about. But there is
[1:56] Speaker 1: a thing of being good at the wrong thing. Well,
[1:58] Speaker 1: the devil's is to get you to fail at anything
[2:04] Speaker 1: good and to create the false illusion in your life
[2:08] Speaker 1: that you succeeding, that you're succeeding. Are you doing the
[2:11] Speaker 1: right thing when you and he both know you are
[2:15] Speaker 1: doing the wrong thing. That's his mission. So whenever you
[2:20] Speaker 1: make the decision to do better, to improve, to change,
[2:27] Speaker 1: to want more, to put your life on the right track,
[2:32] Speaker 1: please know there is going to be opposition, but do
[2:38] Speaker 1: yourself a favor when the haters come, and they will come,
[2:44] Speaker 1: they are inevitable. Today it is amazing how our world
[2:49] Speaker 1: has turned. It is amazing how the Internet has become
[2:52] Speaker 1: a source of hate. When it was designed to be
[2:55] Speaker 1: a place where people could go for information to make
[2:59] Speaker 1: your life life simpler, but it has turned out to
[3:02] Speaker 1: be quite a haven for people who are up to
[3:04] Speaker 1: no good. Their child pornography websites up. You just go,
[3:09] Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, how can this exist? You know,
[3:12] Speaker 1: this is the United States of America and there are
[3:15] Speaker 1: trifling people out there who have sites put up and
[3:19] Speaker 1: with technology, sometimes they're traceable, sometimes they don't. I don't know.
[3:24] Speaker 1: But people are allowed to exist under these freedom of
[3:28] Speaker 1: speech amendments that we have and so forth and so on.
[3:32] Speaker 1: But you know, when things come your way called haters,
[3:39] Speaker 1: they are going to come because this is now the
[3:43] Speaker 1: world and the climate that we live in. Everybody's not
[3:46] Speaker 1: gonna be happy for the news that Hey, guess what
[3:49] Speaker 1: he's changed, or hey, guess what he's trying to do better,
[3:52] Speaker 1: or hey, guess what she's decided in her mind to
[3:55] Speaker 1: be more with her life. You know what, she gonna
[3:57] Speaker 1: get out the system and get to standing on her
[3:59] Speaker 1: own on two feet, go back and get an education.
[4:02] Speaker 1: Be a great example for a cheer child. You know, Hey,
[4:05] Speaker 1: she decided to have her child. I mean, it's so
[4:08] Speaker 1: many things that people do right that people turn into
[4:11] Speaker 1: a negative because they are haters. But do yourself a
[4:15] Speaker 1: favor when the haters come your way, keep pushing, just
[4:21] Speaker 1: keep pushing. And I know it's difficult because you want
[4:25] Speaker 1: to turn around and address everything because you want to
[4:29] Speaker 1: set the record straight. But no matter how straight you
[4:32] Speaker 1: set it, for people who are in the hate business,
[4:35] Speaker 1: they are going to be about the business of hating
[4:37] Speaker 1: you anyway. All of you out there experiencing on some
[4:40] Speaker 1: level or another. See I'm not talking about me. I'm
[4:44] Speaker 1: talking about everybody who experiences at your church, on your job,
[4:51] Speaker 1: in your home, from people who you thought were your friends,
[4:56] Speaker 1: from relatives, I mean from people, oh you know, don't
[5:02] Speaker 1: know you. And here comes the hate. Do yourself a
[5:06] Speaker 1: favor and keep pushing. It is in your best interest
[5:09] Speaker 1: to ignore it and just keep moving. But do not,
[5:13] Speaker 1: and I repeat, do not, let them get you down.
[5:17] Speaker 1: Let me explain to you one thing that I have
[5:19] Speaker 1: grown to learn over the years, but I have to
[5:22] Speaker 1: reteach it to myself all the time. Haters are non
[5:27] Speaker 1: productive people. Haters are not decision makers. They're really, really not.
[5:37] Speaker 1: I don't care if you're being hated on from somebody
[5:40] Speaker 1: in a supervisory capacity over you. They're not the decision
[5:45] Speaker 1: maker of your life. They have this temporary place that
[5:49] Speaker 1: allows them a false sense of power over you. Don't
[5:54] Speaker 1: acknowledge that in them. The only person that has power
[6:00] Speaker 1: with you and over you is a person you allow
[6:03] Speaker 1: to Martin Luther King made a statement one time. He said,
[6:07] Speaker 1: a person can't ride your back unless you bend over.
[6:12] Speaker 1: Don't bend over. Thou know backriders in your life unless
[6:18] Speaker 1: you bend over, stand up straight, and they can't stay on.
[6:22] Speaker 1: So when you have them in your life, whether they're
[6:24] Speaker 1: in a supervisory capacity, shake them. They are non productive people.
[6:28] Speaker 1: They are not decision makers. They are negative and they
[6:33] Speaker 1: cannot affect your plans or position in life unless you
[6:38] Speaker 1: give them life by addressing them all the time. Don't
[6:42] Speaker 1: even address them. Keep moving, keep your life on track.
[6:46] Speaker 1: Know that you are a child of God, that God
[6:49] Speaker 1: loves you no matter what you've done. You can make
[6:52] Speaker 1: a mistake, and God is a god of chances. God
[6:55] Speaker 1: will give you time and time and time again to
[6:59] Speaker 1: get yourself to do. He has done it for me, He
[7:02] Speaker 1: has done it for millions of others. He will do
[7:04] Speaker 1: the same thing for you. Don't let the devil fool
[7:07] Speaker 1: you that you've made a mistake so great that God
[7:10] Speaker 1: won't forgive you for it. Because God is a God
[7:14] Speaker 1: of chances, and I wish I want people to remember
[7:18] Speaker 1: that man, God is a redeemer, no matter how many.
[7:22] Speaker 1: If he's given you eight chances, he will give you
[7:25] Speaker 1: the ninth chance if you go to him honestly and
[7:29] Speaker 1: earnestly and really mean what you say. God is to
[7:33] Speaker 1: get your life together. God, you're listening to the Steve
