[0:00] Speaker 1: Come on. Uh-huh. I sure will. Good morning, everybody. You're
[0:07] Speaker 1: listening to The Voice. Come on. Dig me now. One
[0:11] Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey. Got a radio show. Okay. Here
[0:15] Speaker 1: it is today.
[0:16] Speaker 2: Got a good one for you today. Here's the information
[0:20] Speaker 2: that came to me today. When God created you, God
[0:25] Speaker 2: created you as a work of art. Because like I said,
[0:32] Speaker 2: we are all a piece of him. He created all
[0:34] Speaker 2: of us as in his own image. So all of
[0:37] Speaker 2: us are this very unique. Each person is very, very
[0:43] Speaker 2: unique down to a very fine details. No one is
[0:46] Speaker 2: the exact same. Now, you meet a lot of people
[0:48] Speaker 2: that's very similar to you. You run into people who
[0:51] Speaker 2: have a bunch of likes that you like, share dislikes.
[0:54] Speaker 2: You know, you got a lot in common with people,
[0:56] Speaker 2: but nobody is exactly like you. And the reason you
[0:59] Speaker 2: know that is because of fingerprints. How is it that
[1:03] Speaker 2: this God is so imaginative? He's so dead on that
[1:10] Speaker 2: no two fingerprints are alike. How in all the FBI,
[1:15] Speaker 2: the criminal, everybody in the database, no two fingerprints are alike.
[1:20] Speaker 1: That's how unique God made you.
[1:22] Speaker 2: That's a powerful thing to come to the realization of
[1:25] Speaker 2: that you in some very small way are so different
[1:28] Speaker 2: from everyone else. That's how special God is, but that's
[1:33] Speaker 2: how special he made you. So you are this creation.
[1:36] Speaker 2: You are this work of art. God said in his
[1:41] Speaker 2: word that he created us and he came to us
[1:45] Speaker 2: so that we could have a life and have it
[1:48] Speaker 2: more abundantly. Now, Okay, now let's just start right there.
[1:54] Speaker 2: You are created in God's image. You are very unique. Proof,
[1:59] Speaker 2: your fingerprint is like no one else's living.
[2:01] Speaker 1: That's amazing.
[2:02] Speaker 2: He done over six and a half billion people and
[2:05] Speaker 2: ain't duplicated the same fingerprint.
[2:07] Speaker 1: Oh man, come on now. Okay, so now.
[2:10] Speaker 2: He's created you to be something with this gift he's
[2:15] Speaker 2: given you that he can expose to the world that
[2:18] Speaker 2: he can show off to your circle of friends, that
[2:20] Speaker 2: whatever your world is, however big it is, and it
[2:22] Speaker 2: doesn't matter about you becoming famous in your world. He
[2:25] Speaker 2: wanted to be able to show you off, to floss you,
[2:29] Speaker 2: to show the piece of you that has him in it. Okay,
[2:34] Speaker 2: that's what you were created for. Now, since God wants
[2:38] Speaker 2: you to have a life of abundance, that means everybody,
[2:41] Speaker 2: here's the news that God has blessings designed specifically for you.
[2:48] Speaker 2: And the moment you were created, he started sending them
[2:52] Speaker 2: your way. Here is the good news. That's the good news.
[2:56] Speaker 2: Here is the news we got to be aware of. You, I,
[3:01] Speaker 2: we are the only ones That can turn back the blessings.
[3:09] Speaker 1: Drum roll.
[3:11] Speaker 2: Uh oh.
[3:12] Speaker 1: News flash.
[3:14] Speaker 2: The moment we were created in his special way for us,
[3:18] Speaker 2: God started shipping the blessings that would allow us to
[3:22] Speaker 2: have this life of abundance that he wants for us,
[3:25] Speaker 2: that would have us to be able to accumulate and
[3:27] Speaker 2: acquire and develop the gifts and talents that he's bestowed
[3:31] Speaker 2: upon us to show off in the world that we
[3:33] Speaker 2: are created to be in.
[3:35] Speaker 1: He sent them on the way. Oh, newsflash.
[3:38] Speaker 2: You, I, we are the only ones that can turn
[3:42] Speaker 2: back the blessings. See what you're talking about by that.
[3:47] Speaker 2: Because of our attitude, we directly affect our altitude. So
[3:55] Speaker 2: our attitude, y'all, determines how high we go. You got
[3:59] Speaker 2: a bad attitude. You got low self-esteem. You have low aspirations.
[4:06] Speaker 2: You have low tolerance. For people, you have a low
[4:11] Speaker 2: relationship with your creator. You have a low time on
[4:15] Speaker 2: the meter of prayer.
[4:17] Speaker 1: You have low will. Guess what?
[4:20] Speaker 2: Low altitude. You are the only one that can turn
[4:25] Speaker 2: back your blessings. Now, the way to get your blessings
[4:30] Speaker 2: set and you stop blocking them and turning them back,
[4:33] Speaker 2: you have to change your mind. You have to get
[4:36] Speaker 2: into receivership mode. You have to be ready and willing
[4:41] Speaker 2: to do just a couple of things to get the
[4:44] Speaker 2: blessings sent your way. First of all, go to God,
[4:48] Speaker 2: who is your creator, who made the fingerprint that you have.
[4:52] Speaker 2: I mean, I can't even get past what I just
[4:55] Speaker 2: tripped on right here. He is made you so specific.
[4:59] Speaker 2: No two fingerprints are alike. Out of the six and
[5:02] Speaker 2: a half billion people that he's created, ain't no two
[5:05] Speaker 2: fingerprints alike. You can't tell me God didn't create you
[5:10] Speaker 2: to make you special. With that in mind, with your uniqueness,
[5:16] Speaker 2: talk to the God you serve, the creator, and find
[5:20] Speaker 2: out what he created you for.
[5:23] Speaker 1: It's a very simple prayer.
[5:25] Speaker 2: It's God, I know that I'm made by you. I've
[5:28] Speaker 2: been struggling with the who I am and the what
[5:30] Speaker 2: I am. I do not really know what my mission is.
[5:34] Speaker 2: I have not figured it out. Can you help me
[5:37] Speaker 2: figure that out today? And he will start sending the answers.
[5:40] Speaker 2: But let me give you a couple of jump starters.
[5:42] Speaker 2: First of all, identify your gift. Steve, what gift? The
[5:47] Speaker 2: gift that God gave everybody when he created us with
[5:50] Speaker 2: these fingerprints. See, he not only gave you your own fingerprint,
[5:55] Speaker 2: he gave you your own fingerprint because that's the imprint
[5:58] Speaker 2: you'll put on the.
[5:58] Speaker 1: World that we live in today.
[6:00] Speaker 2: Yours is uniquely yours because that fingerprint is the imprint
[6:04] Speaker 2: that you will put on the world when you're gone.
[6:08] Speaker 2: So now there's got to be something great in you.
[6:11] Speaker 1: And you know it. That's why you keep asking the question.
[6:14] Speaker 1: What is it? It's got to be more to life
[6:15] Speaker 1: than this.
[6:16] Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times I asked my
[6:18] Speaker 2: God that. But let me tell you what I found out.
[6:20] Speaker 2: If you identify your gift, you start the process. Steve,
[6:23] Speaker 2: what gift you keep talking about? I keep talking about
[6:26] Speaker 2: that gift that God gave you because God, just like
[6:29] Speaker 2: he gave you them fingerprints, he never ever created a
[6:32] Speaker 2: soul that he didn't give a gift or a talent to.
[6:34] Speaker 2: The gift and the talent is the same thing. The
[6:37] Speaker 2: gift and the talent is the same thing.
[6:39] Speaker 1: What is that? Simple.
[6:41] Speaker 2: It is the thing that you do the absolute best
[6:47] Speaker 2: with the least amount of effort. See, now we go
[6:49] Speaker 2: back to one of them principles. That's the same. Steve,
[6:51] Speaker 2: you said that a thousand times on the radio. I'm
[6:53] Speaker 2: trying to get another way to get you to understand that.
[6:56] Speaker 2: But it's your gift, your God given. Now, your gift
[6:58] Speaker 2: and talent may be very similar to someone else's. But
[7:04] Speaker 2: your fingerprint that you're going to leave with it, your
[7:07] Speaker 2: journey through life is going to be totally different.
[7:09] Speaker 1: Beyonce's gift got her to where she is.
[7:11] Speaker 2: You may be able to sing out saying Beyonce or
[7:14] Speaker 2: sing just as.
[7:15] Speaker 1: Good as Beyonce. But guess what? That ain't your fingerprint.
[7:19] Speaker 1: You ain't meant to be her. Maybe your singing going
[7:21] Speaker 1: to go somewhere else.
[7:23] Speaker 2: But you first got to identify the talent. And the
[7:26] Speaker 2: talent is always not in entertaining and sports. The majority
[7:30] Speaker 2: and the greatest talents have nothing to do with entertainment
[7:34] Speaker 2: or sports.
[7:35] Speaker 1: Nothing.
[7:35] Speaker 2: What is it that you do better than anything else
[7:38] Speaker 2: that you do without any effort? Do you counsel? Do
[7:41] Speaker 2: you teach? Do you draw? Do you design? Do you
[7:45] Speaker 2: do you worship? Do you are you a nurturer? Are
[7:49] Speaker 2: you have nursing skills? Whatever that is. Go find that first.
[7:53] Speaker 2: That's the starting point. Thank God for that right there.
[7:57] Speaker 2: And the rest will start to come into you.
[7:59] Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
