[0:00] Speaker 1: Come on your things. Uh huh, I sure will. Good
[0:04] Speaker 1: morning everybody.
[0:06] Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
[0:09] Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Sometimes you wake up and you're not feeling your best.
[0:18] Speaker 2: The reason I'm talking about this today is because today
[0:21] Speaker 2: is one of those days for me. You know, you
[0:24] Speaker 2: can stay positive, and I'm a very very positive person.
[0:28] Speaker 2: Now I'm turning it around as I speak to you
[0:31] Speaker 2: because I've learned a trick in my life.
[0:35] Speaker 1: I've learned a self.
[0:37] Speaker 2: Motivating tool that I use, and I'm gonna share it
[0:40] Speaker 2: with you today. So if you wake up and you're
[0:43] Speaker 2: not quite feeling yourself that day, as is the case
[0:46] Speaker 2: with me today, here's what I do. I immediately, immediately,
[0:51] Speaker 2: and I'm I'm not kidding you, I'm in the process
[0:54] Speaker 2: of doing it right now. I immediately start thinking of
[0:57] Speaker 2: all the little things that I have that I can
[0:59] Speaker 2: be grateful for, and I start with the fact that
[1:03] Speaker 2: the reason I had to get up this morning.
[1:06] Speaker 1: See, the reason I had to get up this morning
[1:08] Speaker 1: was because of the job I have.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Now, you may not have a job that you're in
[1:15] Speaker 2: love with like I'm in love with mine, but let
[1:18] Speaker 2: me ask you this right here, suppose you didn't have
[1:20] Speaker 2: that job.
[1:22] Speaker 1: Oh man, how would today be.
[1:24] Speaker 2: Well, you could sleep in a little bit longer, but
[1:25] Speaker 2: when you woke up, man, you'd have to be faced
[1:27] Speaker 2: with the cold realization that, hey, man, I ain't working. Man,
[1:31] Speaker 2: I ain't making it happen for me and mine, I'm
[1:34] Speaker 2: not getting it done. And so with that in mind,
[1:38] Speaker 2: I immediately I start showing some gratitude for waking up
[1:45] Speaker 2: and man just having work to go do. And then
[1:49] Speaker 2: I started telling myself that man, he didn't have to
[1:52] Speaker 2: do it, but he did. He woke me up this morning,
[1:54] Speaker 2: that I'm up, I'm actually able, that I'm here again,
[1:58] Speaker 2: that he ain't through with me yet, that there's really
[2:01] Speaker 2: still things for me to do.
[2:03] Speaker 1: Man, okay, cool, I'm on point with that. I'm on
[2:05] Speaker 1: point with that. And then I just started going over
[2:07] Speaker 1: the little things. Man.
[2:09] Speaker 2: You know, my coffee machine wasn't working this morning. I said, Man,
[2:13] Speaker 2: I've been down. I've been fitting with that coffee machine,
[2:15] Speaker 2: trying to get it to work. You know, couldn't get
[2:18] Speaker 2: it to work. I called somebody, you know, I get
[2:21] Speaker 2: some coffee.
[2:22] Speaker 1: It's okay.
[2:22] Speaker 2: They at the end of the world, you know, and
[2:25] Speaker 2: I started thinking about, man, that I have a place
[2:28] Speaker 2: that I can go to once a year.
[2:30] Speaker 1: That's beautiful. You know.
[2:31] Speaker 2: I started thinking about you know, man, look I got
[2:34] Speaker 2: a place that I lay my head.
[2:35] Speaker 1: That's mine.
[2:37] Speaker 2: I mean, you know, as my father in law once
[2:39] Speaker 2: told me, when somebody came to see about him and
[2:42] Speaker 2: his house was inside his house talking to him crazy
[2:44] Speaker 2: the police, he said, listen to me, he said, this
[2:47] Speaker 2: is my house. He says, as Meaga, as it may be,
[2:50] Speaker 2: this is my house, and I'm the king of this
[2:54] Speaker 2: castle right here.
[2:56] Speaker 1: However, Meaga, it may be, this is mind.
[3:01] Speaker 2: And you know, when you start looking at stuff in
[3:03] Speaker 2: terms like that, man, I mean, for me, it's just
[3:05] Speaker 2: a trick.
[3:05] Speaker 1: I use. I start feeling better.
[3:07] Speaker 2: I started looking around, man, I started thinking about, Man,
[3:10] Speaker 2: I got something to wear today.
[3:12] Speaker 1: You know.
[3:12] Speaker 2: I start looking at little stuff. Man, I'm gonna have
[3:15] Speaker 2: some eggs later on today. I started looking at other stuff.
[3:18] Speaker 2: Somebody's hungry today. See, somebody don't don't really have an
[3:22] Speaker 2: option of knowing what they're going to have today.
[3:25] Speaker 1: I actually have a refrigerator with an option in it.
[3:28] Speaker 1: You know.
[3:28] Speaker 2: I start looking at the little things, man, that God
[3:31] Speaker 2: has done for me. The little things is in my life.
[3:33] Speaker 2: And I started picking myself up. Man, I started feeling
[3:36] Speaker 2: a whole lot better about myself. And see, the more
[3:38] Speaker 2: I start telling it to you right now, the better
[3:40] Speaker 2: I'm starting to feel.
[3:42] Speaker 1: Because man, is you could you know? I mean, look,
[3:43] Speaker 1: I mean listen to my voice.
[3:44] Speaker 2: My energy is picking up, my pace is picking up
[3:47] Speaker 2: because now I didn't out of hit my rhythm.
[3:49] Speaker 1: I'm up.
[3:50] Speaker 2: I'm glad, I'm up. I'm grateful to be here. I'm
[3:53] Speaker 2: glad I got a family. I'm glad. God didne kept
[3:55] Speaker 2: my kids. Glad God kept my wife. You know, I'm glad.
[3:59] Speaker 2: You know, whoever you are, or whatever your situation is,
[4:01] Speaker 2: God didn't kept somebody for you on your behalf. That's
[4:04] Speaker 2: a benefit to you or somebody you're trying to teach
[4:07] Speaker 2: something they may finally get it today, or something you've
[4:11] Speaker 2: been trying to know, you may finally know it today.
[4:14] Speaker 1: But you got to accept the blessing of what it
[4:17] Speaker 1: is that you know now. Okay.
[4:19] Speaker 2: You know, see, if you've been looking for an answer,
[4:22] Speaker 2: a solution to a problem, and then the solution come,
[4:26] Speaker 2: you know you got to be grateful for it.
[4:28] Speaker 1: You know, Lord, help me with this relationship.
[4:30] Speaker 2: Maybe today is today you find out that that's been
[4:32] Speaker 2: the toxic and the poison in your life, that that
[4:35] Speaker 2: relationship is what's wrong. But because we want to hang
[4:38] Speaker 2: on to it, or we tried to make it go
[4:41] Speaker 2: against everything that was in us. Now we got this
[4:45] Speaker 2: toxic poison in our life. You know, you may find
[4:47] Speaker 2: out today that that's it, that you need to move on. Well,
[4:51] Speaker 2: you know, something that ain't the most devastating thing you
[4:53] Speaker 2: can find out. There's a blessing and a lot of
[4:56] Speaker 2: things that looks painful at times. You know, I said
[4:59] Speaker 2: that at best one time, I said, you know, sometimes
[5:01] Speaker 2: the break up is the blessing for a lot of people,
[5:05] Speaker 2: it is, man, because you know, look, man, you know
[5:08] Speaker 2: we make choices with who we want to be with,
[5:09] Speaker 2: and sometimes you don't pick the wrong person, and it
[5:12] Speaker 2: don't make that person to bass. That person just wasn't
[5:14] Speaker 2: good together with you, that's all it is. And so
[5:18] Speaker 2: when you come to that realization, sometimes you know it's
[5:20] Speaker 2: time to move on. You got to be grateful for
[5:23] Speaker 2: all of the little things, man, The fact that you
[5:25] Speaker 2: have a way to get around, the way that you have,
[5:28] Speaker 2: the reason that you have some money to go get
[5:30] Speaker 2: on something to go get around that you in school.
[5:33] Speaker 2: It might not be going just perfect for you right now,
[5:36] Speaker 2: but guess what you in school, man, you got a shot.
[5:38] Speaker 2: You're making it happen. You know what I'm saying, a
[5:40] Speaker 2: lot of people don't have that. Man, A lot of
[5:43] Speaker 2: people don't know what the next move is. At least
[5:45] Speaker 2: you're in the process of doing something about it. And
[5:48] Speaker 2: you may not know how to see your way all
[5:50] Speaker 2: the way to the end. But just knowing what to do,
[5:52] Speaker 2: what the next step could be for you, that's good enough.
[5:55] Speaker 1: You know. You don't have to know all the steps.
[5:56] Speaker 1: Just what am I gonna do next? Well?
[5:58] Speaker 2: Left, I do this, and I'm gonna take this course.
[6:00] Speaker 2: Then after I complete this semester, I move on to
[6:02] Speaker 2: that semester. I don't care what it is. Look, man,
[6:05] Speaker 2: we just got to find something to be grateful about today,
[6:07] Speaker 2: because in your gratitude, God blesses you with more. See
[6:12] Speaker 2: when God sees that we're grateful for the things we have,
[6:15] Speaker 2: he gives us more things to be grateful for. It's
[6:17] Speaker 2: simply the law of attraction. It works in every aspect
[6:21] Speaker 2: of your life. Matter fact that you don't know the rule.
[6:24] Speaker 2: It does not matter. So the thing that you want
[6:28] Speaker 2: the most of in your life is the thing that
[6:31] Speaker 2: you're gonna have to give the most of the things
[6:34] Speaker 2: that the thing that you hope happens to you the
[6:37] Speaker 2: most is the thing that you're gonna have to have
[6:40] Speaker 2: happen to others the most. Lord, I want you to
[6:44] Speaker 2: cover me. You're gonna have to cover some people. Lord,
[6:47] Speaker 2: I want you to hear my crime. You're gonna have
[6:49] Speaker 2: to hear some people's crimes. But I want more love
[6:54] Speaker 2: in my life. You're gonna have to love more people.
[6:56] Speaker 2: I'm talking about real, real love.
[6:58] Speaker 1: Now.
[6:58] Speaker 2: I'm not talking about going out food around with somebody.
[7:01] Speaker 2: That's that's ridiculousness.
[7:02] Speaker 1: Let's see.
[7:03] Speaker 2: Here's well, well, since I'm talking about love and wrong
[7:06] Speaker 2: love and ridiculousness, here's how you know that it ain't
[7:09] Speaker 2: from God. I want you to hear me. Now, if
[7:13] Speaker 2: God is involved in it, there is no sin. If
[7:17] Speaker 2: there is sin involved in it is not from God.
[7:23] Speaker 2: Just remember that rule. It took me a long time
[7:25] Speaker 2: learned that one. You know what the Bible says doing
[7:29] Speaker 2: tell us that you would have to do it when
[7:30] Speaker 2: they did it to me, so they must want it
[7:32] Speaker 2: done to them. I'm gonna go down here, I'm gonna
[7:34] Speaker 2: do this. If what you're going to do is a sin,
[7:37] Speaker 2: you have now twisted a Bible verse to fit your
[7:40] Speaker 2: method or what you want to do. To know, simply
[7:44] Speaker 2: know that if it's God's voice is talking to you,
[7:46] Speaker 2: or something that's going on is in it, Bishop Oldma
[7:49] Speaker 2: talks is to me. The God's voice in God's methods
[7:53] Speaker 2: are ways has no sin in it.
[7:55] Speaker 1: That's you, all right, have a great day.
[7:58] Speaker 2: Everybody you're listening.
