## Transcript

[0:00] Speaker 1: Five, six, five, six, seven, eight.
[0:03] Speaker 2: H-O-T-T-O-G-O, you can take me.
[0:08] Speaker 1: Hard to go.
[0:10] Speaker 3: She's in the country at the moment, isn't she?
[0:12] Speaker 4: She is in the country. She's desperate to come in
[0:14] Speaker 4: and meet producer Grace.
[0:16] Speaker 3: Oh, she's got a bit of a crush on our
[0:17] Speaker 3: new producer, Grace.
[0:18] Speaker 4: Well, she's just like, I need to come in and
[0:20] Speaker 4: meet producer Grace because, you know, she feels like she's
[0:23] Speaker 4: a big part of the show, which she is.
[0:24] Speaker 3: And she is.
[0:25] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[0:25] Speaker 4: And so she's like, I need to meet the newest member.
[0:29] Speaker 5: I said two bad bitches in one room is going.
[0:31] Speaker 1: To be crazy.
[0:32] Speaker 3: A bit of pressure, though. What if she, you know,
[0:35] Speaker 3: you need to impress her.
[0:36] Speaker 5: No, she needs to impress me.
[0:38] Speaker 4: No, no, no, no.
[0:39] Speaker 3: I think she....
[0:42] Speaker 5: Like, what if she hates me? Like, what is she
[0:43] Speaker 5: going to do? Like, what are you going to do, bro?
[0:45] Speaker 3: She might have a word to management. She'll be like, no,
[0:47] Speaker 3: that Grace, she's not right. She's gone. She's not right.
[0:50] Speaker 3: She's gone.
[0:50] Speaker 4: I know you guys don't pay me, but I've got
[0:53] Speaker 4: Paul in this show and she's not it.
[0:55] Speaker 3: Just kidding. She'll fricking love you. She will. I got
[0:59] Speaker 3: on the wrong train today. Real daughtery old man moment.
[1:03] Speaker 1: Wrong side of the tracks you did. Got messed up
[1:06] Speaker 1: in the drugs.
[1:06] Speaker 2: Because it's my new thing. I'm crafting a personality around
[1:09] Speaker 2: being a person who catches the train.
[1:10] Speaker 5: Can I use your car park? Oh, that's a great question.
[1:17] Speaker 5: I'm catching the train tomorrow and the next day.
[1:19] Speaker 1: Oh, see you there.
[1:19] Speaker 3: I'm a train guy.
[1:20] Speaker 2: Anyway, I just went to the train station and got
[1:23] Speaker 2: on the first train that arrived.
[1:25] Speaker 3: I didn't even look at what train it was. I
[1:26] Speaker 3: just got on.
[1:26] Speaker 4: You've gotten so confident because you caught the train like
[1:29] Speaker 4: three times that you just get on whatever train.
[1:31] Speaker 3: Three times in a row. Whoa. Whoa.
[1:35] Speaker 5: Whoa.
[1:35] Speaker 2: So I just got on the train and now I
[1:37] Speaker 2: was watching my little TV show on the train because
[1:39] Speaker 2: I've decided, because I was like, oh, this is way
[1:42] Speaker 2: more efficient. I can get some work done on the train.
[1:43] Speaker 2: And you know what I've decided? I was like, no,
[1:45] Speaker 2: the train is me time.
[1:48] Speaker 1: And you've decided this in three times.
[1:50] Speaker 3: You've caught the train?
[1:51] Speaker 2: Honestly, it's changed my life. I said to someone on
[1:53] Speaker 2: the weekend, I was like, you know what? It makes
[1:55] Speaker 2: me feel like my life is not in such a rush.
[1:58] Speaker 3: No, I like that.
[1:59] Speaker 4: I like that.
[1:59] Speaker 5: I know. Gay?
[2:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, a little bit. I'm watching my little TV show
[2:09] Speaker 2: on the train, having my me time on the way
[2:11] Speaker 2: to work. And because I got the headphones on, so
[2:14] Speaker 2: I can't hear any of the announcements.
[2:15] Speaker 1: You shouldn't be doing that on the train, by the way,
[2:17] Speaker 1: having that me time.
[2:18] Speaker 3: Buried in my phone.
[2:19] Speaker 1: That's illegal.
[2:20] Speaker 2: And then I just happened to look up and I went, hey,
[2:23] Speaker 2: I haven't been to this station before. I've gone to
[2:25] Speaker 2: the complete wrong end of town.
[2:27] Speaker 3: Disaster.
[2:28] Speaker 5: It's lucky you noticed when you did because that train
[2:30] Speaker 5: just keeps going away and.
[2:32] Speaker 3: Away and away. Away and away and away.
[2:35] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[2:35] Speaker 5: Kind of funny.
[2:36] Speaker 4: I feel like the only reason you're a train guy
[2:38] Speaker 4: is I bet you've never had to catch public transport
[2:40] Speaker 4: a lot.
[2:41] Speaker 1: That is so true.
[2:42] Speaker 3: No, I haven't.
[2:43] Speaker 1: In your lifetime.
[2:44] Speaker 3: No, I haven't. No.
[2:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, see, I have trauma.
[2:47] Speaker 3: Same.
[2:47] Speaker 4: I used to catch public transport a lot. Throughout my
[2:52] Speaker 4: teen years when I was living at boarding school, I'd
[2:54] Speaker 4: be catching trains all over the place, buses. And then
[2:58] Speaker 4: when I was at uni, bus, train, bus, another club,
[3:03] Speaker 4: another club, bus, train, another club. So I'm just like,
[3:08] Speaker 4: unless I really have to catch a train, I'm not
[3:11] Speaker 4: going to catch it.
[3:12] Speaker 5: The train is the superior option though.
[3:14] Speaker 1: Not where I live though. It's so close. I'm so
[3:17] Speaker 1: bloody close. Oh, you mean compared to the bus?
[3:20] Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
[3:21] Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, I agree.
[3:21] Speaker 1: Buses suck.
[3:22] Speaker 5: I always get sick on a bus, but I'm on
[3:24] Speaker 5: a train. I feel like a bougie person. It's so great.
[3:26] Speaker 1: Yeah, a train's definitely better.
[3:28] Speaker 3: A train kind of feels like time travel. I'm just like, whoa,
[3:30] Speaker 3: where am I? Train traffic can't be.
[3:32] Speaker 1: Affected by traffic.
[3:33] Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, train traffic.
[3:35] Speaker 1: Well, buses not really either.
[3:36] Speaker 3: Train traffic.
[3:37] Speaker 5: Yeah, I've been stuck. Oh, yeah.
[3:39] Speaker 1: If they're doing work on the train tracks.
[3:41] Speaker 5: I don't know, but I was stuck in train traffic
[3:43] Speaker 5: for like 15 minutes, and I was like, where's the traffic?
[3:46] Speaker 5: But there's train traffic. Trust me.
[3:49] Speaker 3: Anyway, train guy.
[3:51] Speaker 1: Proud of you.
[3:52] Speaker 4: I love that he didn't listen to– we listened to
[3:54] Speaker 4: his boring ass story and then when we were all talking,
[3:57] Speaker 4: he was packing up and didn't listen to a word
[3:59] Speaker 4: we said.
[4:00] Speaker 3: Or did you make my train story about yourself, okay?
[4:03] Speaker 1: That's what I always do. That is my job. Yeah. Also,
[4:08] Speaker 1: I can't help it. I've got ADHD. I'm just trying
[4:11] Speaker 1: to relate to you.
[4:12] Speaker 3: You know what you need?
[4:14] Speaker 1: Medication.
[4:15] Speaker 3: Train time. Train time so you can decompress at the
[4:18] Speaker 3: end of the day.
[4:19] Speaker 4: Honestly, if I lived as far out as you did,
[4:21] Speaker 4: I would catch a train because it would be nice
[4:23] Speaker 4: and relaxing because you get enough time that it makes
[4:26] Speaker 4: it worth it. Whereas me, I'd be on it for
[4:28] Speaker 4: five minutes and then have to rush and get off
[4:30] Speaker 4: and then.
[4:31] Speaker 3: Walk this, you know?
[4:32] Speaker 1: It just doesn't make sense.
[4:33] Speaker 3: It also sounds good.
[4:34] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[4:34] Speaker 5: The walk is only as far as where you park
[4:36] Speaker 5: your car, though. It's not that far.
[4:38] Speaker 1: It's a bit more. It is a bit more.
[4:40] Speaker 5: One block more.
[4:41] Speaker 3: That's some Confucius logic right there.
[4:43] Speaker 1: There's a hill.
[4:44] Speaker 3: The walk is only as far as you park your car.
[4:46] Speaker 1: There's a hill.
[4:48] Speaker 3: Well, yeah. You're right.
[4:50] Speaker 5: You can't go around the hill. I hate hills, and
[4:53] Speaker 5: I feel like that's a doable thing.
[4:54] Speaker 3: But one hill a day is very good for you.
[4:56] Speaker 4: I just feel like I've done my time. For the planet,
[4:59] Speaker 4: on public transport. You know, I've done.
[5:02] Speaker 1: A good 15 years on public transport. If you don't
[5:04] Speaker 1: enjoy it and you.
[5:05] Speaker 5: Don't need it. But also public transport is way bougier
[5:08] Speaker 5: if you choose to go on it.
[5:09] Speaker 1: If you're forced to go on it, it sucks.
[5:11] Speaker 4: You're choosing. You know what was the coolest public transport
[5:14] Speaker 4: ever is the Tube in London. Oh, now you're a
[5:17] Speaker 4: train girl.
[5:18] Speaker 1: I would be if I lived in London.
[5:20] Speaker 3: Did you ever catch the monorail in San Francisco?
[5:23] Speaker 1: I've never been to San Fran.
[5:24] Speaker 3: Is it a monorail? I think it's a monorail.
[5:26] Speaker 5: What's a tram?
[5:26] Speaker 4: Monorail.
[5:27] Speaker 1: Like a tram?
[5:28] Speaker 3: Single rail train.
[5:29] Speaker 1: You know how I love to ride that rail.
[5:31] Speaker 3: It's rapid transport.
[5:33] Speaker 5: I sort of understand what a monorail is.
[5:35] Speaker 3: It's a monorail. It's only got one train track.
[5:38] Speaker 5: But don't all... Wait, just what?
[5:41] Speaker 3: Trains are on two train tracks.
[5:42] Speaker 1: I've ridden the trams in Melbourne.
[5:45] Speaker 3: Mono, singular, rail, rail, monorail.
[5:46] Speaker 1: Have you guys ridden the trams in Melbourne?
[5:48] Speaker 3: Yep.
[5:49] Speaker 1: Caught the trams.
[5:50] Speaker 4: Yep.
[5:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the most packed fucking public transport I've ever
[5:54] Speaker 2: been on.
[5:55] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[5:55] Speaker 1: The trams on the Gold Coast are pretty good now.
[5:58] Speaker 5: I went on that fast-ass train in Japan. That was cool.
[6:00] Speaker 1: The bullet train. I've been on that too.
[6:03] Speaker 5: Was it like the movie where everyone was like, pew, pew, pew?
[6:05] Speaker 5: No one shot at me. Besides that, though, yeah.
[6:09] Speaker 3: I was on a bus once with Sandra Bullock.
[6:13] Speaker 2: Really?
[6:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, real fast.
[6:15] Speaker 5: I got in a taxi and you'll never guess who
[6:17] Speaker 5: was driving it.
[6:19] Speaker 4: I'm in an alien one time and I put him
[6:25] Speaker 4: in my basket of my bike.
[6:27] Speaker 1: Sorry, I was just trying to make it about him.
[6:29] Speaker 3: No, you did get involved. You did.
[6:31] Speaker 2: This is not a fake story, but last night out
[6:33] Speaker 2: of the blue, my wife goes to me, do you
[6:35] Speaker 2: know what I want to watch tonight?
[6:36] Speaker 1: What?
[6:37] Speaker 3: And we don't watch movies, Grace, for context. She goes,
[6:42] Speaker 3: I want to watch The Matrix tonight.
[6:43] Speaker 5: Whoa.
[6:45] Speaker 4: Random.
[6:45] Speaker 3: And I was like, that's one of the nine movies
[6:47] Speaker 3: that I've seen. And it's one of my favorite movies.
[6:50] Speaker 3: So yes, please.
[6:51] Speaker 5: Are you going to watch part two and part three?
[6:53] Speaker 2: No, tonight I'm going to watch part two of the
[6:57] Speaker 2: first Matrix movie.
[6:57] Speaker 3: I was going to say, you watched the whole movie
[6:59] Speaker 3: on a Sunday? We can't get through a whole movie
[7:00] Speaker 3: in one night.
[7:01] Speaker 1: And no, he won't be watching that tonight because it's
[7:03] Speaker 1: a weeknight. He doesn't watch movies on weeknights.
[7:06] Speaker 3: Really? No, I'll finish a movie.
[7:08] Speaker 5: Oh, chaos.
[7:09] Speaker 1: And now the rules are changing.
[7:10] Speaker 5: Half a movie is just like an episode of a
[7:12] Speaker 5: TV show. You're good to go.
[7:13] Speaker 2: Anyway, yes, we're going to watch two, three, and four.
[7:18] Speaker 5: Yeah, you're going to finish the saga.
[7:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because I've not done four.
[7:21] Speaker 2: I didn't realize there were four. There's a fourth, but
[7:24] Speaker 2: they took Lawrence Fishburne out of the fourth one. They
[7:27] Speaker 2: recast him.
[7:28] Speaker 1: Oh, that was a bad decision.
[7:30] Speaker 3: A bad decision. And everyone's like, this movie sucks, but
[7:32] Speaker 3: I'm still going to watch it. Yeah.
[7:34] Speaker 5: There's so many other movies you could watch, though.
[7:35] Speaker 2: I think they just put another black guy in and
[7:38] Speaker 2: didn't mention it. It was like, where's Lawrence Fishburne?
[7:40] Speaker 4: Really?
[7:40] Speaker 5: He's right there.
[7:41] Speaker 1: It's one of those.
[7:42] Speaker 4: Movies that I just never will truly understand what's happening.
[7:47] Speaker 1: That's fair. That and Inception.
[7:50] Speaker 2: There's a line in The Matrix, which we really picked
[7:53] Speaker 2: up on last night, where he's talking about what's happened.
[7:55] Speaker 2: Because it's set in 2199, filmed in 1999. So it's
[8:00] Speaker 2: set in 1999, but the outside of The Matrix is 2199.
[8:03] Speaker 2: And Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus goes, early in the 21st century,
[8:08] Speaker 2: human beings gave birth to AI.
[8:10] Speaker 3: Wow.
[8:12] Speaker 5: Yes.
[8:13] Speaker 4: Whoa.
[8:13] Speaker 2: And it's all about how they created this entity called AI,
[8:17] Speaker 2: which overtook and it became its own organism and it
[8:21] Speaker 2: led to the destruction of the human race.
[8:22] Speaker 5: And then the Matrix happened.
[8:23] Speaker 3: And then we got plugged into the Matrix.
[8:25] Speaker 1: So why the fuck are we continuing with this AI shit?
[8:28] Speaker 3: It's a documentary, guys. It's a documentary.
[8:30] Speaker 4: Why?
[8:30] Speaker 5: Do we need to buy some big jackets now or
[8:32] Speaker 5: do we wait?
[8:32] Speaker 3: Yeah. We need to practice.
[8:34] Speaker 5: A big lean-on.
[8:37] Speaker 3: Just for that.
[8:39] Speaker 5: I already have the sunglasses, actually.
[8:41] Speaker 1: For my speed dealers on. Sorry, I was just trying
[8:46] Speaker 1: to get it.
[8:49] Speaker 5: We'd make a great Matrix cast. I feel like it
[8:51] Speaker 5: would be really entertaining.
[8:52] Speaker 3: Should we go as a Matrix for Halloween?
[8:54] Speaker 1: Could we? Who's got a big black coat? I don't
[8:58] Speaker 1: have a big black coat. Don't ask me about that.
[9:01] Speaker 3: My BBC. See you guys tomorrow.
[9:07] Speaker 1: Five, six. 5, 6, 7, 8. H-O-T-T-O-G-O.
[9:14] Speaker 3: You can take me hard to go.
