[0:01] Speaker 1: Hey, thanks again for being with us today. Always my
[0:03] Speaker 1: honor to be able to share God's Word with you
[0:06] Speaker 1: and hopefully inspire you and encourage you. If you're enjoying
[0:08] Speaker 1: the podcast, I hope you'll share it with a friend,
[0:11] Speaker 1: pass it along. Let's inspire some other people as well.
[0:14] Speaker 1: But know that we love you. It's going to be
[0:15] Speaker 1: a blessed day for you. Well, God bless you. It's
[0:21] Speaker 1: a joy to come into your homes. And if you're
[0:23] Speaker 1: ever in our area, please stop by and be a
[0:26] Speaker 1: part of one of our services. I promise you, we'll
[0:28] Speaker 1: make you feel right at home. I like to start
[0:31] Speaker 1: with something funny and I heard about this young man.
[0:34] Speaker 1: He was a huge football fan. He bought two tickets
[0:38] Speaker 1: to the Super Bowl months ahead of time, not realizing
[0:42] Speaker 1: it was going to be on the same day as
[0:44] Speaker 1: his wedding. He paid $ 2, 000 each for the tickets. So
[0:50] Speaker 1: he put an ad on Facebook asking if anyone would
[0:53] Speaker 1: like to go in his place. He said it will
[0:56] Speaker 1: be at three o'clock at First Baptist Church and her
[0:59] Speaker 1: name is Tiffany. say it like you mean it. This
[1:03] Speaker 1: is my Bible. I am what it says I am.
[1:06] Speaker 1: I have what it says I have. I can do
[1:09] Speaker 1: what it says I can do. Today I will be
[1:11] Speaker 1: taught the word of God. I boldly confess my mind
[1:16] Speaker 1: is alert. My heart is receptive. I will never be
[1:19] Speaker 1: the same in Jesus name. God bless you. I want
[1:24] Speaker 1: to talk to you today about the God who goes
[1:27] Speaker 1: before you. We all face situations where we don't see
[1:31] Speaker 1: a way out. The obstacles look too big. We've had
[1:35] Speaker 1: the problem so long. Our dream seems impossible. This is
[1:40] Speaker 1: the way the Israelites felt. They were headed toward the
[1:43] Speaker 1: promised land. They had all kinds of people coming against them,
[1:48] Speaker 1: opposition from every direction. They felt overwhelmed, outnumbered, inadequate. In
[1:55] Speaker 1: the natural, they didn't have a chance. But God said
[1:59] Speaker 1: to them in Isaiah, I will go before you and
[2:03] Speaker 1: level the mountains. I will break down gates of bronze
[2:08] Speaker 1: and cut through bars of iron so that you will
[2:11] Speaker 1: know I am the Lord your God, the one who
[2:15] Speaker 1: summons you by name. You may have big obstacles in
[2:19] Speaker 1: your path, situations in your health, your finances, a relationship,
[2:25] Speaker 1: You don't see how it could work out. The odds
[2:28] Speaker 1: are against you. But God is saying to you what
[2:31] Speaker 1: he said to them. I'm going to go before you
[2:35] Speaker 1: and level those mountains. Whatever's trying to stop you, a
[2:40] Speaker 1: mountain of sickness. a mountain of addictions, a mountain of depression.
[2:45] Speaker 1: It may look insurmountable to you, but it is no
[2:48] Speaker 1: match for our God. One touch of his favor, he'll
[2:52] Speaker 1: turn that mountain into level ground. That means you won't
[2:57] Speaker 1: even have to climb over it. It's going to be
[3:00] Speaker 1: easier than you think. You're not going to have to struggle, work, worry, fight.
[3:06] Speaker 1: God's going to smooth it all out. It may be
[3:09] Speaker 1: a mountain now. It may look intimidating, but don't worry,
[3:13] Speaker 1: it's about to become level ground. And in the scripture,
[3:18] Speaker 1: the word used for God's power in the original language
[3:22] Speaker 1: is dunamis. That's where we get our word dynamite. You
[3:26] Speaker 1: know what dynamite does. It brings down buildings, clears out
[3:30] Speaker 1: anything that's in its path. Those obstacles in your life,
[3:35] Speaker 1: those mountains that have been holding you back, I can
[3:38] Speaker 1: see right now God putting the dynamite in. He's about
[3:42] Speaker 1: to light that fuse. You've been faithful, you've given, you've served.
[3:47] Speaker 1: Get ready for some explosions. God's about to level some things.
[3:52] Speaker 1: An explosion of good breaks, an explosion of healing, an
[3:56] Speaker 1: explosion of freedom. Those obstacles that have held you back
[4:02] Speaker 1: are about to be blown away. God says he will
[4:05] Speaker 1: level your mountains, not make a tunnel through them, not
[4:09] Speaker 1: make a path around them, not even give you the
[4:12] Speaker 1: strength to go over them. God is going to do
[4:16] Speaker 1: something unprecedented, something out of the ordinary. The scripture says,
[4:21] Speaker 1: so you will know he is the Lord your God.
[4:25] Speaker 1: God wants you to know that he is all powerful.
[4:29] Speaker 1: He's going to do some things in your life where
[4:32] Speaker 1: you have no doubt that was the hand of God.
[4:36] Speaker 1: You will not only know, but the people around you
[4:39] Speaker 1: are going to know. When God parted the Red Sea
[4:42] Speaker 1: and the Israelites went through on dry ground, Pharaoh and
[4:46] Speaker 1: all of his men knew that was the Lord, their God.
[4:50] Speaker 1: When Lazarus was raised from the dead, everywhere he went,
[4:53] Speaker 1: people stood in awe of the Lord, his God. God
[4:57] Speaker 1: wants to give you some evidence, something that can't be disputed.
[5:02] Speaker 1: You couldn't have made it happen. You didn't have the talent.
[5:06] Speaker 1: The medical report said you shouldn't be here. Or maybe
[5:09] Speaker 1: all your relatives are addicted. You should be the same way.
[5:13] Speaker 1: But the Lord, your God summons you by name. He
[5:16] Speaker 1: went ahead of you and leveled those mountains. Now everyone
[5:21] Speaker 1: can look at you and see the blessing of God
[5:25] Speaker 1: on your life. God wants to make you an example
[5:29] Speaker 1: of his goodness. You may have seen his favor in
[5:32] Speaker 1: the past, but you haven't seen anything yet. God has
[5:37] Speaker 1: some explosive blessings that are going to catapult you to
[5:41] Speaker 1: the next level. It's good to remember the great things
[5:45] Speaker 1: God has done, but God doesn't want you to live
[5:49] Speaker 1: on past victories. Always talking about what happened when I
[5:53] Speaker 1: was growing up, what happened 30 years ago. That's fine,
[5:57] Speaker 1: but God's about to give you something new to talk about.
[6:01] Speaker 1: He's about to give you some fresh victories. Isaiah said,
[6:06] Speaker 1: God will break down the gates of bronze and cut
[6:10] Speaker 1: through bars of iron. That means things that have held
[6:14] Speaker 1: you back for years, addictions, lack, depression, insecurity. This may
[6:20] Speaker 1: be in your family line for generations. Looks like that's
[6:24] Speaker 1: your lot in life. Thoughts will tell you, just accept it.
[6:27] Speaker 1: That's who you are. God is saying, I'm about to
[6:31] Speaker 1: break some generational curses. I'm about to put an end
[6:36] Speaker 1: to what's held you back. That depression is not staying
[6:40] Speaker 1: in your family line. That addiction is not going to
[6:45] Speaker 1: be passed to the next generation. That struggle and lack
[6:49] Speaker 1: is not your destiny. This is a new day. The
[6:53] Speaker 1: God who spoke worlds into existence is breaking chains, chains
[6:58] Speaker 1: of defeat, chains of mediocrity, chains of depression. It's not
[7:03] Speaker 1: going to be the way it used to be. You're
[7:06] Speaker 1: stepping into a new season. You're going to have a
[7:10] Speaker 1: strength that you didn't have. Things are going to fall
[7:13] Speaker 1: into place. You're not going to have to fight. God
[7:17] Speaker 1: is cutting through the bars of iron. That means he's
[7:20] Speaker 1: going to make things happen that you couldn't make happen.
[7:24] Speaker 1: You didn't have the talent to do it on your own.
[7:27] Speaker 1: You didn't have the connections. The odds were against you,
[7:31] Speaker 1: but it's suddenly going to turn around. You're suddenly going
[7:34] Speaker 1: to step into a new level. You're suddenly going to
[7:37] Speaker 1: break that addiction. How could this be? The God who
[7:41] Speaker 1: goes before you is breaking the chains, cutting through bars
[7:45] Speaker 1: of iron. I talked to a gentleman last week. He
[7:49] Speaker 1: had been an alcoholic for 30 years. This is all
[7:53] Speaker 1: he had known. Growing up, he watched his father and
[7:56] Speaker 1: grandfather struggle with alcohol. It looked like this addiction would
[8:00] Speaker 1: keep getting passed from generation to generation. He had tried
[8:04] Speaker 1: to stop, but wasn't able to, and now he was
[8:07] Speaker 1: accepting it. One day, he was so miserable, he said, God,
[8:13] Speaker 1: I can't do this anymore. Please send somebody to help me.
[8:18] Speaker 1: He specifically prayed, God, send me a counselor. Just so happened,
[8:24] Speaker 1: he flipped on our Sirius XM channel. He would listen
[8:28] Speaker 1: for hours and hours every day. He said with tears
[8:32] Speaker 1: running down his cheeks, Joel, you became my counselor. You
[8:36] Speaker 1: were the answer to my prayer. For the first time
[8:39] Speaker 1: in 30 years, he's been sober for eight months. He
[8:42] Speaker 1: couldn't do it on his own, but God broke the chains.
[8:46] Speaker 1: God cut through the bars of iron. There may be
[8:57] Speaker 1: things that have held you back for a long time.
[9:01] Speaker 1: Every voice tells you it's never going to change. You're
[9:03] Speaker 1: never going to break it, never get well, never meet
[9:07] Speaker 1: the right person, never get out of debt. On your own,
[9:10] Speaker 1: that may be true. The good news, though, you're not
[9:14] Speaker 1: on your own. The Most High God is going before you.
[9:18] Speaker 1: He's going to break the chains. And it may not
[9:22] Speaker 1: have happened yet, but don't worry. Your time is coming.
[9:26] Speaker 1: This is your year of yes. Yes to break the addiction.
[9:30] Speaker 1: Yes to healing. Yes to meeting the right people. Yes
[9:33] Speaker 1: to seeing new doors open. Joshua 24, the Israelites were
[9:38] Speaker 1: up against seven nations that were bigger and stronger. They
[9:42] Speaker 1: had more equipment, more training. The Israelites on their own
[9:46] Speaker 1: didn't have a chance. They could have retreated and thought, hey,
[9:50] Speaker 1: it's not meant to be. We'll never take this land.
[9:53] Speaker 1: There was no way in the natural, but God's ways
[9:57] Speaker 1: are not our ways. He said that the in verse 12,
[10:01] Speaker 1: I will send hornets ahead of you to drive out
[10:05] Speaker 1: the inhabitants. You won't have to do it with your
[10:08] Speaker 1: own sword and shield. I will give you the land
[10:12] Speaker 1: that you didn't work for and cities that you didn't build.
[10:17] Speaker 1: How did God get rid of these seven powerful nations?
[10:22] Speaker 1: Did he send in tanks, Navy seals? Did he call
[10:25] Speaker 1: down angels from heaven? Gabriel, go take care of them. No,
[10:29] Speaker 1: he sent an insect. He sent hornets ahead of them
[10:34] Speaker 1: so they didn't have to fight. You may not see
[10:37] Speaker 1: how your situation could ever work out, but don't worry.
[10:41] Speaker 1: God has plenty of insects. He has ways to do
[10:44] Speaker 1: it that you've never thought of. He may not do
[10:48] Speaker 1: it a traditional manner. Quit trying to figure everything out
[10:53] Speaker 1: and trust him. He's in control of your life. He
[10:56] Speaker 1: knows how to get you to where you're supposed to be.
[11:00] Speaker 1: The Israelites could have reasoned it out. God, they have
[11:04] Speaker 1: the latest equipment. They have chariots. They're trained soldiers. We're
[11:08] Speaker 1: former slaves. We don't have a chance. This is not
[11:11] Speaker 1: our field. God said, don't worry. You're not going to
[11:15] Speaker 1: have to fight. I'm going ahead of you. I'm going
[11:19] Speaker 1: to level your mountains. God is saying the same thing
[11:23] Speaker 1: to you. Put down your shields, put down your swords.
[11:27] Speaker 1: You're not going to have to worry, struggle, try to
[11:29] Speaker 1: force it to happen. God is going ahead of you.
[11:33] Speaker 1: He is going to drive out the inhabitants that are
[11:36] Speaker 1: on your land. That means whatever's keeping you from your health,
[11:42] Speaker 1: your joy, your abundance, your victory, that's your land. That's
[11:47] Speaker 1: what God promised you. I believe right now he's beginning
[11:51] Speaker 1: to drive them out. You're going to come into your
[11:54] Speaker 1: land of health and wholeness. God is driving out sickness
[11:59] Speaker 1: and disease. You're coming into your land of increase and promotion.
[12:04] Speaker 1: He's driving out struggle and lack. You're going to come
[12:08] Speaker 1: into your land of unprecedented favor where God takes you
[12:12] Speaker 1: where you could not go on your own. If God
[12:16] Speaker 1: showed you all he had in store, you would think, oh,
[12:19] Speaker 1: that's not for me. God, you've got the wrong person.
[12:22] Speaker 1: I don't have the training, the experience, the talent. You
[12:25] Speaker 1: may not, but the God who goes before you is
[12:29] Speaker 1: going to give you land that you didn't work for,
[12:32] Speaker 1: cities that you didn't build. The Houston Rockets basketball team
[12:36] Speaker 1: played in this facility for nearly 30 years. 1999, they
[12:42] Speaker 1: wanted to move out and build a new arena. The
[12:45] Speaker 1: citizens were going to have to pay for most of
[12:48] Speaker 1: the construction, so they had to put it up for vote.
[12:51] Speaker 1: The citizens voted no. They didn't want to pay. The
[12:55] Speaker 1: Rockets couldn't move out. A year and a half later,
[12:58] Speaker 1: it was put on the ballot again. This time, the
[13:02] Speaker 1: citizens voted yes. The Rockets were cleared to move, and
[13:05] Speaker 1: they built the new arena. What's interesting is if the
[13:09] Speaker 1: vote would have passed the first time, Lakewood wouldn't have
[13:13] Speaker 1: been ready for this facility. My father had just died.
[13:18] Speaker 1: We were working through changes, trying to keep everything going,
[13:21] Speaker 1: not sure what was going to happen. But I believe
[13:24] Speaker 1: God put the building on hold, caused it to not
[13:28] Speaker 1: pass because he knew it was supposed to be ours.
[13:31] Speaker 1: We weren't ready for it yet. If it had gone
[13:35] Speaker 1: through the first time, most likely it would have been
[13:38] Speaker 1: sold to a developer and we wouldn't be here. But
[13:42] Speaker 1: a year and a half later, after everything calmed down,
[13:45] Speaker 1: after my father's death and we saw incredible growth, it
[13:49] Speaker 1: was like God said, all right, let me drive the
[13:52] Speaker 1: inhabitants out of your land. Let me move the basketball
[13:56] Speaker 1: team so I can give you the arena that I've
[13:59] Speaker 1: destined for you to have. God gave us a facility
[14:03] Speaker 1: that we didn't have to build. This was more than
[14:06] Speaker 1: we could imagine. We couldn't have done it in our
[14:10] Speaker 1: own strength. A professional basketball team, they were bigger, stronger,
[14:14] Speaker 1: more powerful, but God has the final say. What he
[14:19] Speaker 1: has destined for you, no person can stop, no organization,
[14:23] Speaker 1: no group. He knows when the right time is. If
[14:29] Speaker 1: it hasn't happened yet, you didn't miss your opportunity. God
[14:33] Speaker 1: is holding what belongs to you. whatever's on your land,
[14:38] Speaker 1: when it's your time, it's no match for our God.
[14:41] Speaker 1: He knows how to move them away. He will make
[14:44] Speaker 1: things happen that you couldn't make happen. I talked to
[14:48] Speaker 1: a lady that has a son that's in the military.
[14:51] Speaker 1: He's stationed in Hawaii. They live in Tennessee. He started
[14:55] Speaker 1: competing in different military events. He won soldier of the
[15:00] Speaker 1: year for his brigade. His parents were so proud of him.
[15:04] Speaker 1: They hadn't seen him in a long time and he
[15:07] Speaker 1: kept winning these competitions. His mother said to his father,
[15:12] Speaker 1: I feel bad that he's over there by himself and
[15:15] Speaker 1: we can't be there to support him. And his father said, well,
[15:18] Speaker 1: the next time he competes, get on a plane and
[15:20] Speaker 1: go see him. She was so excited. She flew to
[15:24] Speaker 1: Hawaii to surprise her son. When she pulled up on
[15:28] Speaker 1: the base and He couldn't believe his eyes. He came
[15:31] Speaker 1: running out, gave her a big hug, had tears coming
[15:35] Speaker 1: down his cheeks. He said, mom, I was out walking
[15:39] Speaker 1: in the woods this morning and I prayed, God, I
[15:43] Speaker 1: need my family. Please make a way that I could
[15:46] Speaker 1: see them. This mother had already flown 10 hours from Tennessee.
[15:52] Speaker 1: She had already landed before he prayed. God said in Isaiah,
[15:58] Speaker 1: before you call, I will answer you. Before the words
[16:05] Speaker 1: ever came out of his mouth days earlier, God already
[16:09] Speaker 1: had the answer on the way. That's the God who
[16:12] Speaker 1: goes before us. Things you haven't even prayed about. He's
[16:16] Speaker 1: already lined up the answer. My brother Paul was in
[16:19] Speaker 1: Haiti several years ago, right after the big earthquake. He
[16:24] Speaker 1: and a team of surgeons were operating on all the
[16:27] Speaker 1: injured people. At one point, the main monitor they were
[16:31] Speaker 1: using during surgery to monitor the patient's vital signs went out.
[16:37] Speaker 1: Without that monitor, they couldn't do any more surgeries. It
[16:40] Speaker 1: was too dangerous. They looked all over the little mateship hospital,
[16:44] Speaker 1: couldn't find another one. Paul and the team made phone
[16:48] Speaker 1: calls with no success. It looked like it would be
[16:52] Speaker 1: several days having a monitor flown in from the United States.
[16:57] Speaker 1: It was very frustrating to have all the surgeons, the talent,
[17:00] Speaker 1: the ability, but one small thing was keeping them from
[17:04] Speaker 1: helping so many people. A few hours later, the hospital
[17:09] Speaker 1: administrator came up, a local Haitian man carrying a brand
[17:13] Speaker 1: new monitor, still in the box, the exact one that
[17:18] Speaker 1: they needed. Paul and the team were amazed that he
[17:22] Speaker 1: would have that monitor. Paul asked him where he got it.
[17:26] Speaker 1: He explained how two years earlier, he had been at
[17:30] Speaker 1: a hospital administrator's conference in the United States. Everyone that
[17:35] Speaker 1: attended had their name entered into a contest for a
[17:39] Speaker 1: door prize. It just so happened out of several thousand people,
[17:44] Speaker 1: he was chosen for this monitor. He had no need
[17:47] Speaker 1: for it at the time. It was in storage, but
[17:51] Speaker 1: God knows what you're going to need in the future.
[17:53] Speaker 1: He knows who you're going to need in the future.
[17:59] Speaker 1: The good news is he's going ahead of you right now,
[18:03] Speaker 1: lining up the right people, the right supplies, the right opportunities.
[18:08] Speaker 1: He has solutions to problems you haven't had. Before you call,
[18:14] Speaker 1: he will answer. He's a strategic God. Nothing happens by accident.
[18:20] Speaker 1: He's already planned out your days from the end to
[18:23] Speaker 1: the beginning. He knows what you need today and what
[18:27] Speaker 1: you're going to need 10 years from now. Why don't
[18:29] Speaker 1: you trust him? A young couple in Los Angeles were
[18:34] Speaker 1: moving out of their apartment complex. As they were going
[18:38] Speaker 1: down the elevator with their mattress, the elevator quit working.
[18:42] Speaker 1: They were stuck. They called the front desk and waited
[18:45] Speaker 1: and waited. An hour later, they were finally able to
[18:48] Speaker 1: get out. They were carrying the mattress toward their truck.
[18:53] Speaker 1: They heard some commotion up above. They looked up and
[18:58] Speaker 1: a three-year-old boy was playing on the balcony railing on
[19:02] Speaker 1: the third story. Very dangerous. They tried to get his
[19:05] Speaker 1: attention to get him to go back in, but he
[19:08] Speaker 1: wouldn't listen. They were so alarmed, they rushed over with
[19:12] Speaker 1: their mattress and put it underneath where the boy was playing.
[19:17] Speaker 1: In a few seconds, this little boy fell off the
[19:20] Speaker 1: third story balcony, landed right in their mattress unharmed. He
[19:26] Speaker 1: was autistic and couldn't hear what they were saying. The
[19:29] Speaker 1: scripture says a sparrow doesn't fall to the ground without
[19:34] Speaker 1: God knowing about it. A little bird. How much more
[19:37] Speaker 1: is God concerned about you, about your family? You're his
[19:42] Speaker 1: most prized possessions. Well, Joel, that's a lucky break as
[19:47] Speaker 1: some coincidence. No, that was the God who goes. before
[19:50] Speaker 1: us causing things to fall into place. That elevator not
[19:55] Speaker 1: working properly. That was a divine delay. That was God
[20:00] Speaker 1: causing it to malfunction, to put those people at the
[20:04] Speaker 1: right place at the right time. You can be assured
[20:08] Speaker 1: God will be there to watch over you and your children.
[20:12] Speaker 1: He'll even be there when you make mistakes, when you
[20:16] Speaker 1: get off course. He doesn't say, I'll go before you.
[20:20] Speaker 1: I'll protect you. I'll level your mountains. If you perform perfectly,
[20:25] Speaker 1: if you never get on that third story balcony, do
[20:27] Speaker 1: something foolish. God loves you unconditionally. He knows we're going
[20:32] Speaker 1: to make mistakes. In his great mercy, he'll be right
[20:36] Speaker 1: there to help you get back on course. This is
[20:39] Speaker 1: what happened with Jonah. God told him to go to
[20:43] Speaker 1: the city of Nineveh. He had clear instructions. He knew
[20:47] Speaker 1: exactly what he was supposed to do. But Jonah didn't
[20:50] Speaker 1: want to go to Nineveh. He went the opposite direction.
[20:54] Speaker 1: God said, go left. He went right. You would think
[20:58] Speaker 1: God would say, all right, Jonah, you're on your own.
[21:01] Speaker 1: I'll go before you if you go to Nineveh, but
[21:04] Speaker 1: good luck if you go the other way. Jonah got
[21:08] Speaker 1: on a boat headed in the wrong direction and a
[21:11] Speaker 1: huge storm arose. Yes, there are consequences for going the
[21:17] Speaker 1: wrong way, but that doesn't mean God is not going
[21:21] Speaker 1: to help you. He's going to give you another chance
[21:24] Speaker 1: and another chance and another. The boat was about to capsize.
[21:28] Speaker 1: They were all about to die. Jonah finally admitted he
[21:32] Speaker 1: was the cause. They didn't think twice. They threw him overboard.
[21:36] Speaker 1: Jonah was out in the middle of the ocean in
[21:39] Speaker 1: a huge storm, no life jacket, no chance of survival.
[21:43] Speaker 1: This should have been the end. Jonah died doing his
[21:46] Speaker 1: own thing. Don't feel sorry for him. but God doesn't
[21:50] Speaker 1: abandon us when we make mistakes. God had already gone
[21:55] Speaker 1: before Jonah in the wrong direction. He had that big
[21:59] Speaker 1: fish waiting to swallow him up and spare his life.
[22:04] Speaker 1: Like Jonah, many of us would not be here if
[22:08] Speaker 1: God had not gone before us in the wrong direction.
[22:12] Speaker 1: We brought the trouble on ourselves. It was nobody's fault
[22:15] Speaker 1: except our own, but God in his mercy was there
[22:19] Speaker 1: to help get us out. I want you to have
[22:22] Speaker 1: this assurance that you're not doing life by yourself. The
[22:26] Speaker 1: creator of the universe is going before you. He has
[22:31] Speaker 1: you covered. You can lie down at night in peace,
[22:35] Speaker 1: not just when you do everything right, but even when
[22:38] Speaker 1: you make mistakes. You may think that you've blown it
[22:42] Speaker 1: too many times. You've gotten too far off course. You
[22:46] Speaker 1: wouldn't be hearing this if God was finished with you.
[22:50] Speaker 1: And you can try to outrun God, but you'll never
[22:53] Speaker 1: be successful. God knows your next move. When you show up,
[22:57] Speaker 1: he'll be right there, not to condemn you, but to
[23:00] Speaker 1: help restore you, to give you another chance, to help
[23:04] Speaker 1: you get back on the best path. You can still
[23:07] Speaker 1: become all God's created you to be. Years ago, there
[23:12] Speaker 1: was a pastor of a large church in America. He
[23:15] Speaker 1: was very successful, but he made poor choices and he
[23:19] Speaker 1: got off course and he ended up losing his family
[23:22] Speaker 1: and had to resign from the ministry. It's very sad.
[23:24] Speaker 1: He was living very down on himself, guilty, condemned, feeling
[23:30] Speaker 1: all washed up. Several years later, he was in South America.
[23:34] Speaker 1: A local pastor that he knew there invited him to
[23:38] Speaker 1: come to his church. He was sitting on the platform
[23:42] Speaker 1: during a service. This man came up, looked him in
[23:45] Speaker 1: the eyes, almost in amazement, and began weeping. This pastor
[23:50] Speaker 1: didn't know what was going on. The man started praying
[23:53] Speaker 1: for him. All of the sudden, he felt a warmth
[23:57] Speaker 1: come over him like nothing he had ever felt. He
[24:01] Speaker 1: said it was like this love was purging him of
[24:04] Speaker 1: all the guilt, the shame, the hurt, For the first time,
[24:09] Speaker 1: he was able to forgive himself. That night was a
[24:13] Speaker 1: turning point. He left there feeling restored, knowing that God
[24:17] Speaker 1: still had a purpose for him. After the service, he
[24:21] Speaker 1: asked that man why he prayed for him like that.
[24:25] Speaker 1: This man explained, how 20 years earlier he was praying
[24:30] Speaker 1: and out of nowhere he saw this man's face. In
[24:33] Speaker 1: his heart, God said to him, one day you're going
[24:37] Speaker 1: to see this man face to face and you're to
[24:40] Speaker 1: help bring healing and restoration to him. What's interesting is
[24:46] Speaker 1: 20 years earlier, this U.S. pastor wasn't in the ministry.
[24:51] Speaker 1: He wasn't even married yet. Yet God had already lined
[24:55] Speaker 1: up the right person to help him. God knows the
[24:59] Speaker 1: end from the beginning. He has solutions to problems you
[25:03] Speaker 1: haven't had. He's going before you, not to just level mountains,
[25:08] Speaker 1: but to help lift you when you fall, to help
[25:11] Speaker 1: restore you when you make mistakes. He'll have the right
[25:14] Speaker 1: people there to help bring healing and wholeness. Maybe God
[25:19] Speaker 1: is using me to help get you back on the
[25:22] Speaker 1: right course. We didn't meet by accident. God caused our
[25:26] Speaker 1: paths to cross. You may have made mistakes, but that
[25:30] Speaker 1: didn't cancel your destiny. God has already forgiven you. His
[25:35] Speaker 1: mercy is bigger than any mistake. He already has. a
[25:40] Speaker 1: new beginning waiting for you. Why don't you get back
[25:43] Speaker 1: in the game? Quit living guilty, condemned. You wouldn't be
[25:48] Speaker 1: alive unless God had something amazing up in front of you. Friends,
[25:53] Speaker 1: you're not doing life on your own. You have an advantage.
[25:58] Speaker 1: The God who goes before you is fighting your battles.
[26:02] Speaker 1: Are you living worried, stressed out, wondering how it's going
[26:05] Speaker 1: to work out? God is saying, trust me. I have
[26:09] Speaker 1: you covered. I know where you are and I know
[26:12] Speaker 1: where you're going. Those obstacles that look like they're never
[26:16] Speaker 1: going to change. You need to get ready. This is
[26:18] Speaker 1: a new day. I believe and declare God is breaking
[26:23] Speaker 1: chains that have held you back. He's driving the inhabitants
[26:26] Speaker 1: out of your land. You're going to see increase, restoration, healing, breakthroughs,
[26:33] Speaker 1: the fullness of your destiny. You will know it is
[26:36] Speaker 1: the God who goes before you in Jesus' name. If
[26:40] Speaker 1: you receive it today, can you say amen? I'd like
[26:45] Speaker 1: to give you an opportunity to make Jesus the Lord
[26:48] Speaker 1: of your life. Would you pray with me? Just say,
[26:51] Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. Come into my heart.
[26:58] Speaker 1: I make you my Lord and Savior. Friends, if you
[27:02] Speaker 1: prayed that simple prayer, we believe you got born again.
