[0:01] Speaker 1: I hope you and your family are having a great summer.
[0:04] Speaker 1: Victoria and I are praying for you, believing for God's
[0:06] Speaker 1: very best in your life. And it's always my pleasure
[0:09] Speaker 1: to be able to share a message with you. I
[0:11] Speaker 1: hope you're encouraged and inspired today.
[0:15] Speaker 2: Have you ever felt that your hands were tied? And
[0:19] Speaker 2: what I mean by that is have you ever looked
[0:21] Speaker 2: at a situation in your life and you think, I
[0:24] Speaker 2: don't know how this can change.
[0:26] Speaker 3: I don't know how this can possibly work out.
[0:29] Speaker 2: Maybe it's someone else is involved, and so you think,
[0:31] Speaker 2: oh no, they have to change before my situation can change.
[0:36] Speaker 2: Or maybe you have a big dream in your heart.
[0:38] Speaker 2: You can see it from a distance, but then you realize,
[0:42] Speaker 2: I don't have the resources.
[0:43] Speaker 3: I don't have the education. I don't know the right people.
[0:47] Speaker 2: See, that's when we feel like our hands are tied.
[0:51] Speaker 2: But I want to encourage you with something this morning,
[0:53] Speaker 2: and really just, it's a reminder to you this morning.
[0:57] Speaker 2: Your hands may be tied, but God's hands are never tied.
[1:03] Speaker 2: God's hands are never tied, and His power is limitless
[1:09] Speaker 2: in your life. See, that's what we need to allow
[1:12] Speaker 2: to sink down into our hearts and minds. Hey, when
[1:15] Speaker 2: it looks impossible to me in the natural, I have
[1:18] Speaker 2: to remind myself that I serve a supernatural God, that
[1:23] Speaker 2: my God has all the power in all the world.
[1:26] Speaker 2: When we look at things, we see it from a
[1:29] Speaker 2: natural perspective. But God is saying to us today, I
[1:32] Speaker 2: haven't asked you.
[1:33] Speaker 3: To walk by sight. I've asked you to walk by faith.
[1:37] Speaker 2: I've asked you to remember my great power towards you. Listen,
[1:43] Speaker 2: we cannot limit our options in life by what we see.
[1:48] Speaker 2: Because if we do, we will live a very limited life.
[1:52] Speaker 2: And can I tell you this? Most of the time,
[1:55] Speaker 2: when God asks you to do something, it's going to
[1:58] Speaker 2: be over your head. It's going to be bigger than yourself.
[2:02] Speaker 3: Because see, if it wasn't, you wouldn't need God.
[2:06] Speaker 2: You wouldn't need to walk by faith because you could
[2:08] Speaker 2: do it in your own abilities, in your own strength.
[2:11] Speaker 2: So be encouraged today if you feel a little overwhelmed
[2:15] Speaker 2: and a little over your head. Because that's when God
[2:18] Speaker 2: can come in, if you won't limit His power in
[2:21] Speaker 2: your life. Psalm 78 says this. It says, they vexed
[2:27] Speaker 2: the Holy One of Israel because they did not remember
[2:30] Speaker 2: His power. They turned back and limited God. The children
[2:35] Speaker 2: of Israel came against obstacles, but they didn't remember God's power.
[2:41] Speaker 3: They forgot God. that he redeemed them from the oppressor.
[2:45] Speaker 2: They didn't think about that he brought water out of
[2:47] Speaker 2: a rock in the desert so they could drink. It
[2:51] Speaker 2: frustrated God. And it said they turned back and limited
[2:55] Speaker 2: his power. Now, I just want to stop right there
[2:58] Speaker 2: for just a minute because that word limited does not
[3:01] Speaker 2: apply to God.
[3:03] Speaker 3: God is limitless.
[3:06] Speaker 2: But they limited God's power by their own mindset, their
[3:11] Speaker 2: own way of thinking. They turned back and gave up
[3:16] Speaker 2: too soon because they didn't consider all the miraculous things
[3:22] Speaker 2: God had done in the past. All they considered was
[3:25] Speaker 2: the obstacle that was in front of them. Have you
[3:28] Speaker 2: ever stopped doing something you thought God wanted you to do?
[3:32] Speaker 2: Maybe gave up a little too soon because you felt insignificant.
[3:37] Speaker 3: Maybe you were fearful.
[3:39] Speaker 2: Maybe you just drew a little line around you and thought,
[3:41] Speaker 2: you know what, I'd like to do it, but I
[3:43] Speaker 2: just can't.
[3:45] Speaker 3: That's exactly what the children of Israel did. They stopped
[3:49] Speaker 3: when they should have continued to move forward.
[3:52] Speaker 2: Moses finally got them to the border of the promised land.
[3:56] Speaker 2: It took them a long time. All those stops, they
[4:00] Speaker 2: finally got to the border. Moses got them there and
[4:03] Speaker 2: he said, okay, we're going to take this land that
[4:06] Speaker 2: God has promised us. But first, we're going to send
[4:09] Speaker 2: some of the leaders ahead. And we're going to let
[4:11] Speaker 2: them check out the land, and they're going to bring
[4:13] Speaker 2: a report back to us, hoping, I'm sure, that they
[4:16] Speaker 2: would rally the troops. So he sent some of the
[4:19] Speaker 2: men in to spy out the land. And when they returned,
[4:23] Speaker 2: they returned with this report. They said, Moses, the land
[4:26] Speaker 2: is amazing. It's full of milk and honey.
[4:30] Speaker 3: It's green. It's lush.
[4:32] Speaker 2: The vegetation there is beautiful. Plenty for us to eat.
[4:36] Speaker 2: But Have you ever had a butt? I like to butt.
[4:42] Speaker 2: But there are giants in the land. They said, we
[4:45] Speaker 2: look like grasshoppers compared to the people in the land.
[4:50] Speaker 2: It spread like wildfire throughout the camp. And fear, fear
[4:55] Speaker 2: paralyzed them. But two men, two men were of a
[5:01] Speaker 2: different report. Joshua and Caleb literally broke that limited mindset
[5:08] Speaker 2: And you know what their report was?
[5:10] Speaker 3: This was their take on the situation. The land is great.
[5:13] Speaker 2: There may be giants, but let's go at once and
[5:17] Speaker 2: take the land because the Lord, our God.
[5:20] Speaker 3: Is with us. He's with us.
[5:27] Speaker 2: You may feel like a grasshopper. But get your eyes
[5:31] Speaker 2: off of yourself and get your eyes on the Lord your.
[5:35] Speaker 3: God who is with you. See, that's the key.
[5:39] Speaker 2: You'll always be limited, but you serve a limitless God.
[5:44] Speaker 2: And if you can tap into his power, you can
[5:47] Speaker 2: become everything that he's called you to be. You may
[5:50] Speaker 2: be in a situation right now where you need healing.
[5:53] Speaker 3: You may need restoration.
[5:55] Speaker 2: You may need a Red Sea to literally be split
[5:59] Speaker 2: in your behalf. Well, let me tell you, if you
[6:02] Speaker 2: look at your present situation and take your eyes off
[6:05] Speaker 2: of your powerful God, you're going to be just like
[6:08] Speaker 2: they were. You're going to draw a little border around
[6:11] Speaker 2: yourself and say, I'm not getting out of this border
[6:14] Speaker 2: because I'm nice and safe right here. It's okay that
[6:17] Speaker 2: on the other side is my dreams and my goals,
[6:20] Speaker 2: but I want to stay right here.
[6:22] Speaker 3: See, have you ever talked yourself out of it? It
[6:25] Speaker 3: sounds nice.
[6:26] Speaker 2: I can see it, but it's not for me.
[6:31] Speaker 3: It's too difficult. See, that's exactly where they were. They
[6:34] Speaker 3: were at a difficult place. They were at a hard place.
[6:38] Speaker 3: But Joshua broke.
[6:40] Speaker 2: That mindset and said, no, we're going to go in
[6:42] Speaker 2: at once and we're going to take the land.
[6:46] Speaker 3: This is the key.
[6:47] Speaker 2: If your dreams or your situations look impossible today, and
[6:50] Speaker 2: we're going to get this key from Joshua 1-7.
[6:53] Speaker 3: This is exactly what God told Joshua. It looks impossible.
[6:57] Speaker 3: It's going to be difficult.
[6:58] Speaker 2: You're going to run into some challenges, but this is
[7:01] Speaker 2: the key to your success, Joshua. He said, don't let
[7:04] Speaker 2: this law depart from your eyes. Stay focused on it.
[7:08] Speaker 2: Keep it right in front of you. Don't look to
[7:10] Speaker 2: the left. Don't look to the right. Don't look at
[7:12] Speaker 2: the enemies. Don't look at the giants. You keep your
[7:16] Speaker 2: eyes fixed on the law of the Lord. Meditating on it.
[7:24] Speaker 2: What he was saying was you've got to be single-minded
[7:27] Speaker 2: when it comes to the things of God. If you're
[7:29] Speaker 2: going to climb that next mountain, you've got to be single-minded.
[7:32] Speaker 2: You can't look at the obstacles. You've got to look
[7:35] Speaker 2: at the power of the living God. Let's set our
[7:39] Speaker 2: eyes on God. Let's quit looking at the things that
[7:42] Speaker 2: would try to distract us, cause fear in our life.
[7:46] Speaker 2: Let's quit reasoning out all the reasons we can't and
[7:49] Speaker 2: let's start factoring in all the reasons we can.
[7:53] Speaker 3: We serve a limitless God, a supernatural God.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Let's don't go by our natural sight or our natural reasoning.
[8:01] Speaker 2: Let's be bold and courageous like Joshua and Caleb were.
[8:07] Speaker 2: That's how the Bible described them. That's how you break
[8:10] Speaker 2: a limited mindset. You become bold and courageous and you say,
[8:15] Speaker 2: I'm going to take it for you, God.
[8:16] Speaker 3: You're going with me and I'm all out with you. Amen.
[8:20] Speaker 3: He's a powerful God.
[8:23] Speaker 2: Malachi 3, 6, he's forever the same, all powerful, who
[8:27] Speaker 2: delights in blessing his children. He's powerful, but he takes
[8:34] Speaker 2: delight when you are blessed.
[8:36] Speaker 1: Amen. If you want to know what you're going to
