There’s always a door that leads to destruction. What doors have you left open that need to be shut? Pastor Michael masterfully taught on the importance of being self-aware and not in denial when it comes to the distractions in our life. When we couple distractions with denial we always end in destruction. We pray this message gives you clarity on what doors you need to shut so that you can be open to all the God has for you in this season! [0:02] Speaker 1: Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
[0:09] Speaker 1: glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
[0:12] Speaker 1: God will transform your life to today's message.
[0:16] Speaker 2: And so today I'm gonna do my assignment by pointing
[0:20] Speaker 2: people to Him. But I'm gonna do it a little
[0:23] Speaker 2: different because I need to talk about you just for
[0:31] Speaker 2: a second, because we might be the hindrance in our
[0:36] Speaker 2: own way. Has anybody tripped over your own feet before? Okay,
[0:44] Speaker 2: I'm about to find out where everybody's at. Has anybody
[0:47] Speaker 2: slammed your own hand in a cabinet or a door?
[0:53] Speaker 2: Has anybody ever dropped the food that you prepare? And
[0:58] Speaker 2: there is nothing more devastating then telling other people they
[1:03] Speaker 2: can't eat your food, preparing to God all your sauces,
[1:06] Speaker 2: and then right when you try to do too much
[1:09] Speaker 2: and pick up all the plates and the drink at
[1:11] Speaker 2: the same time, biot and your automatic reaction is to
[1:17] Speaker 2: get up and fight somebody and blame somebody, but you
[1:22] Speaker 2: realize the only person who was responsible for the distraction,
[1:31] Speaker 2: the death of your plate, the actual devastating moment was you.
[1:42] Speaker 2: Now usually when it comes to our life. We try
[1:46] Speaker 2: to blame everybody out else for the moments in our
[1:50] Speaker 2: life that caused us pain, keep us from our purpose,
[1:53] Speaker 2: don't take us to the greatest level. But in week
[1:56] Speaker 2: two of this series that we are called death to distraction,
[2:02] Speaker 2: I gotta help.
[2:03] Speaker 3: You have the faith to focus.
[2:04] Speaker 2: Somebody say, I will have the faith to focus. Say
[2:10] Speaker 2: it one more time with faith, I will.
[2:13] Speaker 3: Have the faith to focus.
[2:16] Speaker 2: How many people could use some more focus in your life?
[2:18] Speaker 2: You know it would positively impact your life. Okay, how
[2:23] Speaker 2: many of you know where the distraction is? I love
[2:29] Speaker 2: a self aware congregation because everybody that raised their hand,
[2:35] Speaker 2: we can go somewhere. The rest of y'all. You gonna
[2:41] Speaker 2: make me work for fifty minutes to convince you that
[2:46] Speaker 2: you are distracted in the area that everybody else around
[2:49] Speaker 2: you can see, but you have not taken ownership that
[2:56] Speaker 2: it's affecting you in.
[2:57] Speaker 3: The way that it is.
[3:00] Speaker 2: And that's why today to get you to him, I
[3:04] Speaker 2: gotta start talking to you so that you can get
[3:06] Speaker 2: out your own way. Look at your neighbor and say,
[3:11] Speaker 2: get out your own way.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Come on, now, choose your the.
[3:14] Speaker 2: Neighbor that you didn't like as much the first time.
[3:16] Speaker 2: I don't know why you didn't turn to them. Now
[3:18] Speaker 2: you got to look at them and say, neighbor, get
[3:22] Speaker 2: out your own way. How are you going to get out?
[3:26] Speaker 2: Then everybody's like, yeah, why didn't you look at me?
[3:28] Speaker 3: I got you, Okay.
[3:32] Speaker 2: The way that we can actually look at this is
[3:35] Speaker 2: by going to the solution before we address the problem.
[3:40] Speaker 2: Anybody that is distracted, there is a solution. Good news
[3:44] Speaker 2: for you today. There is a solution. And this is
[3:48] Speaker 2: going to be our scripture of the year. I'm going
[3:51] Speaker 2: to try my best to say this every single Sunday
[3:56] Speaker 2: until you get it in your spirit and in your heart.
[3:58] Speaker 2: I want you to turn to Hebrew's twelve one and
[4:02] Speaker 2: we're going to read this together. Y'all did so good
[4:04] Speaker 2: last week that we're gonna do it again together. And
[4:08] Speaker 2: I want us to read this scripture until it becomes
[4:11] Speaker 2: something that is hidden in our hearts. There will be
[4:14] Speaker 2: times in your life that you will not have cell
[4:16] Speaker 2: phone connection. There will be times in your life. I
[4:21] Speaker 2: just want to be very clear with you. I thank
[4:24] Speaker 2: God for convenience, but many times it hinders us from
[4:30] Speaker 2: having what we need when everything is not convenient. And
[4:34] Speaker 2: I want you the Bible says, hide the word of
[4:37] Speaker 2: God in your heart, And this one I'm gonna say
[4:42] Speaker 2: until we can hide it in our hearts. We're gonna
[4:44] Speaker 2: read this together. We're gonna start. Can we get it
[4:46] Speaker 2: on screen? Can we get it behind us so I
[4:48] Speaker 2: can get everybody to say.
[4:49] Speaker 3: It out Hebrews twelve one.
[4:51] Speaker 2: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud
[4:57] Speaker 2: of witnesses, let us throw everything that hinders and the
[5:04] Speaker 2: sin that so easily entangles us. Has anybody ever been
[5:09] Speaker 2: entangled by sin? I just wanted to make sure I'm
[5:12] Speaker 2: in the right place. Has anybody watched this ever been
[5:15] Speaker 2: entangled by weights?
[5:18] Speaker 3: Okay, we're in the right place.
[5:20] Speaker 2: We're gonna start at and let us here we go,
[5:22] Speaker 2: and let us run with perseverance the race marked out
[5:29] Speaker 2: for us. Does everybody know there's a race with your
[5:32] Speaker 2: name on it? Like why you're trying to be them
[5:36] Speaker 2: and do that and be compared to them? There is
[5:38] Speaker 2: a race with your name on it that when you
[5:42] Speaker 2: run that race at your case, nobody can beat you.
[5:47] Speaker 2: And many times the frustration of our life is because
[5:49] Speaker 2: we're running a race that was never marked out for us.
[5:55] Speaker 2: This is why this series is very important to your
[5:57] Speaker 2: fabric of faith and life life, because I want you
[6:01] Speaker 2: to get watch this out of their lane, get out
[6:06] Speaker 2: of their lane, Get out of that lane that you
[6:09] Speaker 2: made up.
[6:11] Speaker 4: Get out of move, get out the way.
[6:21] Speaker 2: I'm five minutes saying I'm too hype right now Verse two,
[6:24] Speaker 2: here's the answer I need.
[6:26] Speaker 3: Just say it.
[6:26] Speaker 2: We're starting fixing, fixing our eyes. Somebody shot at me.
[6:31] Speaker 2: Focus focus, fixing our eyes, Focus on who on Jesus,
[6:39] Speaker 2: the pioneer and the perfector of faith, for the joy
[6:45] Speaker 2: set before him. He endured the cross, scorning its shame
[6:51] Speaker 2: and sat down at the right hand of the throne
[6:55] Speaker 2: of God. Let's give God praise right now for the
[6:57] Speaker 2: reading of his word week. I'm gonna tell you this
[7:01] Speaker 2: same thing, fixing your eyes or focusing on Jesus is
[7:05] Speaker 2: the thing that's going to change your life. I know
[7:10] Speaker 2: everybody's telling you to focus on other things, but I'm
[7:13] Speaker 2: telling you I've tried focusing on a lot. I tried
[7:16] Speaker 2: to focus on success. I tried to focus on the image.
[7:20] Speaker 2: I tried to focus on getting around the right people.
[7:23] Speaker 2: I tried to focus on making sure that I had everything.
[7:25] Speaker 2: And it doesn't matter what you do as a human being.
[7:29] Speaker 2: When you do not have Jesus as your fixed focus,
[7:33] Speaker 2: something is coming that will lead you to a place
[7:35] Speaker 2: of distraction that will ultimately end up in destruction. There
[7:40] Speaker 2: are too many examples in our own life, But if
[7:42] Speaker 2: you don't want to use your own life as a
[7:44] Speaker 2: case study, I need you to look at so many
[7:47] Speaker 2: other people's lives. And that's why over the next few weeks,
[7:51] Speaker 2: we're talking about a man named Samson.
[7:55] Speaker 3: Now Samson, by all.
[7:57] Speaker 2: Accounts, was a Bible character that you might have heard
[8:01] Speaker 2: of when you were a child. And what was Samson's
[8:05] Speaker 2: claim to fame? His what? He had?
[8:10] Speaker 3: Super human strength?
[8:12] Speaker 2: You one could say that he was able to do
[8:16] Speaker 2: things that others were not gifted to do. You could
[8:20] Speaker 2: say that Samson had the ability to be able to
[8:26] Speaker 2: endure things and handle things that nobody else could handle.
[8:32] Speaker 2: It sounds like many of us, though we do not
[8:35] Speaker 2: have the title of Samson. Some of y'all strong. Some
[8:40] Speaker 2: of you have been so strong, and you've been gifted
[8:43] Speaker 2: to go through seasons that seemed unfair. You have been
[8:48] Speaker 2: strong enough to walk through adversity after adversity, after heartbreak,
[8:53] Speaker 2: after broken thing and steal smile. Some of you see,
[8:58] Speaker 2: you're thinking about physical strength. But he was gifted by
[9:01] Speaker 2: God to be strong. And some of y'all have been
[9:04] Speaker 2: discounting what God is doing in your life because you'll
[9:06] Speaker 2: be like, I don't want to be strong no more.
[9:08] Speaker 2: But God said, that's how I anointed you. I have
[9:11] Speaker 2: given you the ability to do something that would take
[9:14] Speaker 2: most people outs.
[9:20] Speaker 3: But your strength.
[9:23] Speaker 2: May have made you think that you do not have.
[9:28] Speaker 3: To submit to the words of God.
[9:33] Speaker 2: Because Samson had a strength the way some of us
[9:37] Speaker 2: have a strength and a gift that then becomes the
[9:40] Speaker 2: thing that we put our faith in instead of Him. So
[9:45] Speaker 2: our strength, I can handle this, I can go through that.
[9:49] Speaker 2: I don't need nobody else. The word of God may
[9:52] Speaker 2: work for them in that situation, but this is how
[9:54] Speaker 2: I survived. And your strength makes you feel like you
[9:59] Speaker 2: don't need to submit the word of God. Some of
[10:02] Speaker 2: us make so much money, we don't pray to God,
[10:06] Speaker 2: Oh God, because money is the thing you're submitted to.
[10:11] Speaker 2: So if God tells you to do something, you won't
[10:13] Speaker 2: but you will literally put your family, not even on the.
[10:16] Speaker 3: Back burner, out the house.
[10:19] Speaker 2: If there's a business deal you can't miss. What are
[10:25] Speaker 2: you submitted to? Some of you college and career and
[10:29] Speaker 2: the pursuit of knowledge is good, but you're submitted to
[10:32] Speaker 2: it because you decided that I'm gonna work my way
[10:35] Speaker 2: up this corporate letter and I'm gonna be this, and
[10:36] Speaker 2: I ain't never gonna be like them. And if God
[10:38] Speaker 2: asks you to do something, it's a fight. But if
[10:41] Speaker 2: the college say you gotta write a paper that's nine
[10:43] Speaker 2: hundred pages long, I'm not saying it's bad.
[10:51] Speaker 3: I'm just asking what are you submitted to?
[10:54] Speaker 2: What is your strength submitted to? Because Samson's st y'all.
[11:00] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm just hype. I know where we're going.
[11:01] Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. I'm forgive me. Samson was strong without
[11:11] Speaker 2: being submitted, and so his strength became the very thing
[11:18] Speaker 2: that would lead him to destruction. Okay, all right, Judges,
[11:24] Speaker 2: Chapter sixteen, verse four. This is the part where we
[11:28] Speaker 2: usually start in Sampson's journey. Sometime later, What time was
[11:33] Speaker 2: it was? It was a later time, sometime when that
[11:40] Speaker 2: means there was something before this. Anytime you see sometime later,
[11:45] Speaker 2: you should always go back and read what happened before.
[11:49] Speaker 2: I know you're trying to get through your Bible playing quick.
[11:55] Speaker 2: But whenever you hear sometime later. That means there's a
[11:58] Speaker 2: story attached to that. Sometime later, Samson fell in love
[12:05] Speaker 2: with a woman named what's her name, hey Ther Delilah
[12:10] Speaker 2: who lived in the valley of Siret. When I was
[12:15] Speaker 2: gonna start the series here week two, was gonna start
[12:19] Speaker 2: from here on because I got a message next week
[12:21] Speaker 2: that's gonna take you out. But then the Holy Spirit,
[12:25] Speaker 2: said Michael, most believers don't pay enough attention to the principles.
[12:29] Speaker 2: We can extract from Samson's life before.
[12:32] Speaker 5: Delilah, before destruction, before the disaster, what happened in your life.
[12:48] Speaker 3: Before the divorce?
[12:53] Speaker 2: Come on, because so many times we're trying to just
[12:56] Speaker 2: heal from what happened, but it is inevitable. Top and
[13:00] Speaker 2: again because we did not pick up the blues clues
[13:05] Speaker 2: from what happened. Somebody say before and if the church
[13:12] Speaker 2: does not stop and wait on God to reveal, why
[13:18] Speaker 2: do I keep getting in this situation? And most of
[13:24] Speaker 2: us what our prayer's, Father God.
[13:26] Speaker 3: Just take me to the next level.
[13:27] Speaker 2: Father God, I thank you that we go from glory
[13:28] Speaker 2: to gloria and faith to faith. Father God, I thank
[13:30] Speaker 2: you that this season won't look like last Sea said, yes,
[13:32] Speaker 2: it will because you never learned about last time. If
[13:42] Speaker 2: I can tell the church anything is make it through, heal,
[13:46] Speaker 2: do everything that God told you to do. But don't
[13:48] Speaker 2: leave this lesson without learning what you need to learn
[13:52] Speaker 2: from last time, because last time becomes this time when
[14:00] Speaker 2: you don't spend time.
[14:04] Speaker 3: Oh my God, let.
[14:06] Speaker 2: Me say, last time becomes this time when you don't
[14:13] Speaker 2: spend time. Why did I let them? Why did I
[14:20] Speaker 2: let them call me dad? When did I put my
[14:23] Speaker 2: guard down? When did I When did I say that
[14:27] Speaker 2: was okay? When was the first time that felt comfortable?
[14:31] Speaker 2: And I used to be convicted about it? Taser Mike?
[14:37] Speaker 2: Why is this important? Because write this point down. Destruction
[14:40] Speaker 2: always starts with a distraction. Destruction always starts with the distraction.
[14:47] Speaker 2: Delilah will be the last stage of Samson's destruction.
[14:51] Speaker 3: But not the first.
[14:55] Speaker 2: Whatever you will ultimately be known for happen isolated, like
[15:04] Speaker 2: like we know Samson for being taken out by Delilah.
[15:10] Speaker 2: We know people that do great things for doing great things.
[15:14] Speaker 2: It never starts where you find it. Hear what I'm saying.
[15:19] Speaker 2: Jealousy never starts at beating somebody else's wife up. Insurance
[15:31] Speaker 2: fraud don't ever start with Bank America. Like the honesty,
[15:36] Speaker 2: it never starts at the big thing. It always starts
[15:44] Speaker 2: with one distraction.
[15:48] Speaker 3: What you doing over there? What you're looking at?
[15:56] Speaker 2: What y'all eating? Everything that has ever happened in my
[16:02] Speaker 2: life that went against the word of God never was presented.
[16:06] Speaker 3: To me on a platter. It was always something that.
[16:10] Speaker 2: I was distracted by. Subtle, covert, quiet, secret, easy, watch
[16:29] Speaker 2: this a moment. The reason why I'm taking this moment
[16:36] Speaker 2: to just let you sit in this is because there's
[16:39] Speaker 2: things you don't think are a big deal right now
[16:42] Speaker 2: that are literally leading you down a path that you
[16:47] Speaker 2: will be asking for deliverance from. And I wish you
[16:52] Speaker 2: could see the monster that's at the end of this. Yeah,
[16:58] Speaker 2: but right now it's.
[17:01] Speaker 3: It's little.
[17:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just it's just I mean, I was scrolling
[17:05] Speaker 2: and then yeah, somebody was working in booty shorts and
[17:09] Speaker 2: they work out though, and I can.
[17:13] Speaker 3: Scroll past that.
[17:14] Speaker 2: You didn't delete it, you didn't block it, you didn't.
[17:16] Speaker 3: Do nothing, y'all. See how quiet.
[17:23] Speaker 2: On. It's not just that man in the muscle shirt
[17:25] Speaker 2: and wearing the two tight pants and all that other stuff,
[17:27] Speaker 2: and you over there looking at my God, What is
[17:29] Speaker 2: God doing in his life? My God? Yet yet yet
[17:35] Speaker 2: two days later it pops up again, four days later.
[17:39] Speaker 2: It's a whole group of people like that, and it
[17:43] Speaker 2: just takes one moment when you're weak. I'm gonna leave
[17:50] Speaker 2: it alone. Let me show you this picture real quick. Everybody,
[18:00] Speaker 2: look at this picture of this tragic accident, accident that
[18:04] Speaker 2: I found.
[18:06] Speaker 3: This is the pile up here.
[18:09] Speaker 2: You can look on the center screen and even there
[18:12] Speaker 2: this is one hundred and thirty three car pile up.
[18:17] Speaker 2: This is one of the most devastating things that could
[18:21] Speaker 2: ever happen. This is what we would call an unfortunate
[18:24] Speaker 2: accident that caused a lot of destruction. Destruction to property, destruction,
[18:29] Speaker 2: to people's lives.
[18:29] Speaker 3: You can bring the feedback to me.
[18:31] Speaker 2: Destruction to the highway, to people's day, destruction everywhere. What
[18:39] Speaker 2: if I told you this happened because somebody was checking
[18:42] Speaker 2: their phone. What if I told you it was fifteen
[18:49] Speaker 2: seconds of a distraction in a place that needed focus,
[18:59] Speaker 2: that caused people to literally have to be raised for
[19:02] Speaker 2: the rest of their life without a parent. We looked
[19:08] Speaker 2: up some status just to see because I didn't want
[19:10] Speaker 2: to just take this picture. In twenty twenty two alone,
[19:13] Speaker 2: over three hundred thousand people were injured due to cell
[19:17] Speaker 2: phone distraction in a car, and over thirty three hundred
[19:21] Speaker 2: people died because somebody was distracted checking if they got
[19:29] Speaker 2: two more followers. Now, we feel it when we see
[19:39] Speaker 2: pieces of metal piled up, but we don't feel it
[19:44] Speaker 2: as much when in our own life. There's all kinds
[19:49] Speaker 2: of generational habits, patterns, ideas that have crashed in our
[19:56] Speaker 2: lives and become the scene of destruction. So today I
[20:03] Speaker 2: just want to I want to bring a parallel to
[20:07] Speaker 2: that picture, because there was no threat to those people
[20:11] Speaker 2: except their own decision to be distracted.
[20:15] Speaker 3: Hear what I'm saying. They weren't defensive driving.
[20:18] Speaker 2: To get away from something they saw in a Tom
[20:20] Speaker 2: Cruise movie. This was not an action scene. This was
[20:24] Speaker 2: a decision to be distracted. And I have to come
[20:31] Speaker 2: to the church at large today and ask you are
[20:35] Speaker 2: some of the disasters we have faced and that we're
[20:38] Speaker 2: going towards only because we've decided to be distracted. Let
[20:47] Speaker 2: me put a disclaimer up here for distraction, very simply,
[20:52] Speaker 2: distraction will take you further than you want to go,
[20:55] Speaker 2: keep you longer than you want to stay. And cost
[20:58] Speaker 2: you more than you want to pay. That's what distraction
[21:03] Speaker 2: will do. When you are distracted. You were like, how
[21:05] Speaker 2: did I get here? And I don't even want to
[21:08] Speaker 2: be here no more? But why am I staying here?
[21:10] Speaker 2: And I didn't know that was gonna cost me that
[21:12] Speaker 2: much and I wouldn't have paid it, But I'm still
[21:13] Speaker 2: paying it. And the reason I have to tell you
[21:19] Speaker 2: that is because there is a secret twin of distraction
[21:25] Speaker 2: that I want to expose today. If I don't get
[21:28] Speaker 2: to do anything else, if you ain't heard nothing else
[21:30] Speaker 2: that I said, this the one if if you are distracted,
[21:36] Speaker 2: the worst add the worst partner to distraction is this
[21:45] Speaker 2: word we got to deal with today, denial. The crazy
[21:52] Speaker 2: thing about distraction is when somebody comes to tell you
[21:56] Speaker 2: might be distracted by that, most people are in deny.
[22:03] Speaker 2: And denial is the thing that is plaguing the body
[22:07] Speaker 2: of Christ. Because we cannot take constructive criticism from anybody,
[22:11] Speaker 2: We cannot take correction in love, we cannot be able
[22:14] Speaker 2: to make a different suggestion, we can't be able to say, hey,
[22:17] Speaker 2: I used to be in that, now I'm in this.
[22:19] Speaker 2: We can't do anything, and people be like that ain't me.
[22:24] Speaker 2: My issue ain't no issue. I'm not dealing with that.
[22:27] Speaker 2: I can handle these things. And the problem is you
[22:31] Speaker 2: cannot deal with anything you do not see, is there? Okay,
[22:39] Speaker 2: write this point down. Denial is dangerous because it makes
[22:43] Speaker 2: it impossible to change. Y'all all have family members right
[22:48] Speaker 2: now that you know that you want your relationship to
[22:52] Speaker 2: be better than it is. But a lot of the
[22:57] Speaker 2: problem is that when you bring up stuff, they're gonna
[23:01] Speaker 2: tell you that it didn't happen like that. They're gonna
[23:07] Speaker 2: try to make that's not how you was raised. I
[23:08] Speaker 2: didn't do that to you. I'm telling you. This is
[23:13] Speaker 2: how I experience this moment. I'm telling you, this is
[23:18] Speaker 2: how it affected me. Am I in the right place
[23:20] Speaker 2: right now? Okay, I'm telling you this is why I'm mad.
[23:25] Speaker 2: I'm telling you, this is why I was pushed to
[23:28] Speaker 2: drugs and you don't tell me it didn't happen like that.
[23:35] Speaker 3: Ask your brothers and sisters.
[23:36] Speaker 2: I ask your cousin. I think, what's there There's no
[23:38] Speaker 2: way they could have done that to you. There's no
[23:40] Speaker 2: da wait, and many times because of denial, our healing
[23:47] Speaker 2: gets delayed. Can we take it out of anybody else's hand.
[23:54] Speaker 2: You're in denial when God is trying to reveal something
[23:58] Speaker 2: to you, and you'd be like, God, it what that bad?
[24:03] Speaker 3: I didn't really do that. I wasn't flirting with them.
[24:07] Speaker 2: When the Holy Spirit said you did too much, too much,
[24:11] Speaker 2: I gave him a side hug. He said, but I
[24:14] Speaker 2: know what you were thinking. I know you gave him
[24:20] Speaker 2: a side hug. But I know what you was thinking.
[24:24] Speaker 2: Too much. And in the area that God wants to
[24:27] Speaker 2: potentially bring clarity, healing, help, we're still in the enemy
[24:36] Speaker 2: would love for the body of Christ to stay in
[24:40] Speaker 2: denial because it keeps you distracted. And if you never
[24:44] Speaker 2: get out of denial, you'll always stay in distraction and
[24:48] Speaker 2: you will never have deliverance. Some of y'all are mean,
[24:52] Speaker 2: and multiple people have tried to tell you because you
[24:56] Speaker 2: could fix it, you could become what you don't, what
[25:00] Speaker 2: you currently are not. But because you are in I've
[25:07] Speaker 2: met so many gifted singers who I've said, man, if
[25:12] Speaker 2: you would just do a little less stuff, don't do
[25:16] Speaker 2: all the runs. Just piano players, musicians, gods, God's got it.
[25:24] Speaker 2: Hold on, but let us catch the beat. Where's the beat?
[25:30] Speaker 2: But as soon as you're saying they're like, oh no,
[25:32] Speaker 2: they don't value my gift. I don't wait.
[25:36] Speaker 3: You just took defense.
[25:39] Speaker 2: Because somebody had a different perspective on a situation that
[25:45] Speaker 2: they are outside of. But you won't even let it
[25:48] Speaker 2: get close because you're in denial. Samson, through his entire journey,
[25:55] Speaker 2: is in denial. He thinks he can play with what
[25:58] Speaker 2: God put parameters around. Gosh, I'm telling y'all right now,
[26:08] Speaker 2: this thing is ministering to me so much because God
[26:11] Speaker 2: is saying, Michael, when I speak to you, don't act
[26:14] Speaker 2: like I'm not God. If I say to you, you're
[26:19] Speaker 2: getting prideful. Don't start qualifying. But God, No, no, no, no, okay, Lord,
[26:27] Speaker 2: what does that look like for me?
[26:29] Speaker 3: What do I need to do? How do I need
[26:30] Speaker 3: to submit this? Where is it at? I've talked tomorrow.
[26:35] Speaker 2: Let me talk to my senior saints for a second.
[26:37] Speaker 2: Some of y'all will not go to counseling or therapy.
[26:46] Speaker 2: I'm dead looking at you. Why we got to bring
[26:51] Speaker 2: up ald stuff because it's still festering in you. You
[26:58] Speaker 2: are an old woman now, but you are a young woman,
[27:01] Speaker 2: bandaged and hurt. The healing never happened, and now it's
[27:07] Speaker 2: pouring out onto your family members and your grandchildren and
[27:10] Speaker 2: all that other stuff. Because what's this young little person
[27:13] Speaker 2: gonna tell me. They ain't even experience life, they ain't
[27:15] Speaker 2: even been nowhere. I've been here since nineteen sixties six, and.
[27:20] Speaker 3: God has seen me. He's seen me every season.
[27:25] Speaker 2: And you do all in that and nobody will even
[27:28] Speaker 2: open up to you. Your own kids have to create
[27:33] Speaker 2: worlds to stay away from your disease.
[27:38] Speaker 3: And if you don't let it out.
[27:39] Speaker 2: I'm just telling y'all, I'm talking about what I know.
[27:42] Speaker 2: I'm talking about what I'm dealing with. I'm talking to
[27:44] Speaker 2: you and talking to your kids. And they're saying we
[27:47] Speaker 2: could never bring that up to them, and they saying,
[27:50] Speaker 2: I ain't there. I don't know what's wrong with They
[27:51] Speaker 2: just disrespectful. Now. They don't call, they don't do nothing. God,
[28:01] Speaker 2: somebody might be in and the enemy would love for
[28:07] Speaker 2: you to stay in denial.
[28:10] Speaker 3: He would love for you.
[28:12] Speaker 2: To die in denial. And that's why I had to
[28:18] Speaker 2: come today to tell you that you may be distracted
[28:21] Speaker 2: by the wrong thing.
[28:23] Speaker 3: And today, if.
[28:24] Speaker 2: We could this is only week two, y'all got like
[28:26] Speaker 2: eight of these.
[28:26] Speaker 3: Okay, I just need us to walk.
[28:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, the Clippers love it. I just need us to
[28:32] Speaker 2: walk through this gently together to maybe see if there's
[28:37] Speaker 2: an area of our life that God wants to do
[28:40] Speaker 2: a deliverance. But we're still in denial. And this is
[28:44] Speaker 2: the reason I need to say this about denial, and
[28:46] Speaker 2: I'm staking on it because I want you to come
[28:48] Speaker 2: out of it. I want you to actually be people
[28:50] Speaker 2: who can hear from God, hear from others. This is
[28:53] Speaker 2: why you gotta get in a community group. This is
[28:55] Speaker 2: why you gotta get in tribes, because sometimes the people
[28:58] Speaker 2: you love can't say stuff. People you don't know, oh
[29:00] Speaker 2: can say to you, Oh my God. I can't tell
[29:03] Speaker 2: you how many times, like I'm bringing this up with Natalie,
[29:05] Speaker 2: and then we get around some other couples and they'd
[29:07] Speaker 2: be like, are y'all struggling with this?
[29:08] Speaker 3: Because we struggling with this? And be like, as a
[29:10] Speaker 3: matter of fact.
[29:11] Speaker 2: We are. And the only reason it worked is because
[29:14] Speaker 2: I didn't bring it up. But if I would have
[29:16] Speaker 2: brought it up, it would have been World World three.
[29:19] Speaker 2: But but but community created safety for us to come
[29:26] Speaker 2: out of denial. CAUs Mike, why you're going so hard
[29:34] Speaker 2: on denial? Because denial makes you dumb when you stay
[29:40] Speaker 2: in denial.
[29:41] Speaker 3: Watch this.
[29:41] Speaker 2: I heard Passadarius Daniel say it like this. He said
[29:44] Speaker 2: it turned seasons into cycles. Seasons into cycles. When you're
[29:54] Speaker 2: in denial, the thing that God meant to be for
[29:56] Speaker 2: a specific amount of time become the replay of your life.
[30:03] Speaker 2: Seasons change with time, cycles change with you. Do you
[30:12] Speaker 2: hear what I'm saying. Season, period of time it changed
[30:15] Speaker 2: to another season. Period to time, it changed to another season.
[30:18] Speaker 2: Some things in your life were supposed to be a season,
[30:20] Speaker 2: and because you're in denial and didn't allow God to
[30:22] Speaker 2: do what he wants to do in your life, it
[30:24] Speaker 2: became your cycle. And so I just need to put
[30:31] Speaker 2: this equation out here so we can know how to
[30:33] Speaker 2: guard ourselves against it.
[30:34] Speaker 3: Write this down.
[30:35] Speaker 2: Distraction plus denial always equals destruction. If I'm distracted and
[30:44] Speaker 2: I'm in denial that it affects me the way that
[30:46] Speaker 2: it does, it will at some point lead to a destruction.
[30:51] Speaker 3: Let me give you an example.
[30:52] Speaker 2: Somebody say, distraction, I'm attracted to someone at my job,
[30:59] Speaker 2: but I no, I'm not supposed to be with them,
[31:00] Speaker 2: but I'm you know, they fine, I'm fine.
[31:02] Speaker 3: We flirt.
[31:04] Speaker 2: It's nothing. Everybody say denial, it's not a big deal.
[31:12] Speaker 2: It's not a big deal. Like I'm a grown woman,
[31:14] Speaker 2: I'm a grown man. This is not a big deal.
[31:17] Speaker 2: It's just flirting at work. It's just asking do you
[31:21] Speaker 2: want to have donuts together?
[31:23] Speaker 3: No?
[31:23] Speaker 2: No, no, it's just taking our fifteen minute break together and
[31:29] Speaker 2: walking outside. Yes, I'm married, Yes they're married.
[31:33] Speaker 3: We are.
[31:33] Speaker 2: It's not a big deal. Everybody say destruction. It ends
[31:44] Speaker 2: in soul ties and divorce. It's that simple. Everybody say distraction,
[31:53] Speaker 2: I don't have time to budget. Busy, money's coming in, okay, missy.
[32:03] Speaker 2: Everybody say denial. I'll get around to it. You know
[32:07] Speaker 2: how many people that survive with out budgets. You just
[32:10] Speaker 2: got to make more money in then you let go out.
[32:17] Speaker 2: Everybody say destruction. You end up living in a cycle
[32:21] Speaker 2: of poverty. No matter how much money you make. Do
[32:25] Speaker 2: you know I know broke millionaires?
[32:30] Speaker 3: No?
[32:30] Speaker 2: No, I personally know people who have millions of dollars
[32:35] Speaker 2: and live like they have hundreds of dollars. Because the
[32:40] Speaker 2: principles are the same at every level. Everybody say distraction.
[32:48] Speaker 2: I only sit when I'm stressed, got real quiet. I
[32:55] Speaker 2: only sit when I'm just.
[33:00] Speaker 3: Sip.
[33:02] Speaker 2: I only drink when I'm stressed. God Live, somebody's in denial.
[33:11] Speaker 2: Everybody say denial. I'm not an alcoholic, they're an alcoholic.
[33:17] Speaker 2: I know an alcoholic when I see an acoholic. My
[33:19] Speaker 2: dad was an alcoholic, my mom was an alcohol my
[33:22] Speaker 2: aunt was an alcoholic.
[33:23] Speaker 3: I only when I'm stressed.
[33:30] Speaker 2: Everybody say destruction, a life of addiction. When you're in
[33:35] Speaker 2: denial about something, it can lead to a life that
[33:39] Speaker 2: has you completely bound. Everybody say distraction. Me and my
[33:45] Speaker 2: wife don't prioritize spending time together, no date nights. I mean,
[33:49] Speaker 2: it's really about the kids. We had all these kids,
[33:51] Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, So we just do the
[33:54] Speaker 2: kid thing. Everybody say denial. We have a lot going
[33:58] Speaker 2: on and it'll get better in a different season.
[34:03] Speaker 3: I mean, we have a lot.
[34:04] Speaker 2: Going on right now. They're just young, or they're just
[34:07] Speaker 2: in sports, or they're just in college, or they're just
[34:14] Speaker 2: living with us. Still, let's be honest, there's always gonna
[34:21] Speaker 2: be a season. Everybody say destruction. No intimacy and loss
[34:27] Speaker 2: of connection in a marriage that God designed. Just last one,
[34:33] Speaker 2: last one, last one. Everybody say distraction. You're doom scrolling.
[34:39] Speaker 2: Y'all know what I'm talking about. Just on Facebook, Just Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, come.
[34:51] Speaker 3: On what else?
[34:53] Speaker 2: My Space, black playet Interest. I like it, thank you
[35:01] Speaker 2: because some of y'all's comparison and insecurity gets so flared
[35:09] Speaker 2: up just on Pinterest. Why can't my house look like this?
[35:13] Speaker 3: Because that's a picture.
[35:18] Speaker 2: Everybody say denial, It's not that deep.
[35:21] Speaker 3: Everybody does it.
[35:24] Speaker 2: I'm trying to give you a formula because I'm like,
[35:26] Speaker 2: why are you going with it? Because I need you
[35:28] Speaker 2: to know everybody in here has something they're in denial about.
[35:32] Speaker 2: When I was overweight, I was in I was like, this,
[35:38] Speaker 2: don't look that big, buying three x's and four xes
[35:46] Speaker 2: because that made me look how I thought I looked.
[35:49] Speaker 2: But I knew how I.
[35:50] Speaker 3: Looked with none of the look on.
[35:57] Speaker 2: But years of my health journey was delayed because I
[36:00] Speaker 2: was in denial. My wife ended up telling me one
[36:04] Speaker 2: time because I don't know if she was blinded by
[36:10] Speaker 2: my charm or blind and I appreciate, thank you Lord,
[36:14] Speaker 2: But at some moment we were doing something, she was like,
[36:17] Speaker 2: that was a lot. And I remember her saying that
[36:22] Speaker 2: was a lot, Like I'm a lot, Like I'm a lot.
[36:26] Speaker 2: You're saying I'm a lot because it was only me
[36:28] Speaker 2: and you here, So that was a lot. Mean, I
[36:37] Speaker 2: you think i'm and then you start asking you think
[36:38] Speaker 2: I'm a lot. I'm just trying to be hot, humble
[36:48] Speaker 2: over in the train. Years of my life was delayed
[36:51] Speaker 2: because I was in denight. And this is this is
[37:01] Speaker 2: what the enemy would love to do. He would love
[37:03] Speaker 2: to keep you distracted and in denial because just give
[37:07] Speaker 2: it a little time, you're gonna find a doorway that
[37:11] Speaker 2: leads to destruction. Yeah, yeah, the doorway to destruction.
[37:22] Speaker 3: What's behind the door? Is anybody back there? Hello?
[37:33] Speaker 2: Why would a door just be here? Okay, I'm gonna
[37:40] Speaker 2: keep reaching. But that door has now become a distraction
[37:46] Speaker 2: because I focused on it one time. Yeah, it's been
[37:50] Speaker 2: up here the whole time. But I've been focused on
[37:51] Speaker 2: the camera. I've been focused on the faces. I've been focused.
[37:54] Speaker 2: I've been focused on what I was assigned to do.
[37:57] Speaker 2: But at the moment, the moment, the moment that I
[38:01] Speaker 2: took my eyes off of the focus, I now have
[38:05] Speaker 2: a distraction. All right, dor stay right there. This is
[38:13] Speaker 2: what happens in Samson's life Samson was born to be
[38:17] Speaker 2: a deliverer to the children of Israel who had been
[38:20] Speaker 2: allowed to be captive. Now, this is a whole nother
[38:24] Speaker 2: thing that messes with your theology when you don't obey God.
[38:28] Speaker 2: In the Old Testament, he would allow your enemy to
[38:30] Speaker 2: capture you because it was the only way to bring
[38:32] Speaker 2: you back to a place of desperation to call on him.
[38:36] Speaker 2: Thank God for the New Covenant, because he won't do
[38:39] Speaker 2: that to us no more. He sends us to Jesus
[38:41] Speaker 2: to be able to be the propitiation for all of
[38:44] Speaker 2: our sins, so we can go back to Him and
[38:46] Speaker 2: actually get right. But back in the day, he said,
[38:49] Speaker 2: they don't get it. I've given them laws, I've told
[38:51] Speaker 2: them what to do. Go get them and allows God
[38:56] Speaker 2: his chosen people to be taken captive by a group
[38:59] Speaker 2: of people called the Philistines.
[39:02] Speaker 3: And because of this, the.
[39:03] Speaker 2: Philistines were ruling, reigning and putting slavery conditions on the
[39:09] Speaker 2: people of Israel. They begin to cry out for God
[39:11] Speaker 2: out of desperation because their situation was so bad. You
[39:13] Speaker 2: got to read back for the whole context. That's why
[39:16] Speaker 2: this is in the Book of Judges. This is a
[39:18] Speaker 2: season where there was no kings. They did not make
[39:20] Speaker 2: God their king, and there was no kings on earth,
[39:22] Speaker 2: and so they begin to cry out for a deliverer.
[39:25] Speaker 2: When they cried out for a deliverer, God said, I'm
[39:28] Speaker 2: gonna answer your prayer, but I'm not going to talk
[39:30] Speaker 2: to you about it. And he made a woman who
[39:32] Speaker 2: was barren pregnant, Which is a point right there. Sometimes
[39:36] Speaker 2: you're crying out for something that you're going to have
[39:38] Speaker 2: to wait a little bit longer because God answered you,
[39:40] Speaker 2: but it takes a moment for it to actually be birthed.
[39:45] Speaker 2: It's not my point. But what I'm trying to tell
[39:47] Speaker 2: you right now is Samson is born to a woman
[39:50] Speaker 2: that declares that if I can have a child because
[39:53] Speaker 2: I was barren, I will dedicate this child to you.
[39:56] Speaker 2: Samson is born under a Nazarite vow, which says simply
[40:00] Speaker 2: that he is to eat no pork, touch anything that
[40:04] Speaker 2: is dead, don't have any strong drink, and never cut
[40:07] Speaker 2: his hair. He said, as long as he does this,
[40:10] Speaker 2: he will have super empowered strength from God on high.
[40:16] Speaker 2: The boy is born and taught this daily every time,
[40:20] Speaker 2: but then he started doing crazy stuff like being able
[40:22] Speaker 2: to just beat up people and change things and move things.
[40:27] Speaker 2: And I'm gonna show you an example, but I need
[40:29] Speaker 2: you to understand he knew there was a standard, the
[40:35] Speaker 2: same way you know there's a standard. And if you're
[40:39] Speaker 2: in denial that you know it's wrong to have sex
[40:41] Speaker 2: outside of marriage, you know that. You know that from
[40:46] Speaker 2: a medical standpoint. Let's not even go to scripture. Yet
[40:51] Speaker 2: you know you know it from an emotional standpoint. You've
[40:55] Speaker 2: seen enough stories, You're watch enough Housewives of wherever. You've
[40:59] Speaker 2: seen what happens when families are born in broken situ.
[41:07] Speaker 6: You know.
[41:12] Speaker 2: You know gossip doesn't do nothing but tear people down.
[41:19] Speaker 2: Yet we still find ourselves, like Samson, many times, flirting
[41:25] Speaker 2: with the doorway that would lead us to destruction. My
[41:30] Speaker 2: last big chunk of scripture Judge is fourteen five. It
[41:35] Speaker 2: says Sampson went down to Timna together with his father
[41:38] Speaker 2: and mother. As they approached the vineyards of Timna, suddenly
[41:41] Speaker 2: a young lion came roaring towards them.
[41:44] Speaker 3: Now, this is just scary.
[41:47] Speaker 2: I need you because sometime we read these stories like
[41:49] Speaker 2: it's not real. People. I just want you to imagine you,
[41:51] Speaker 2: your mama and daddy taking a walk. I just want
[41:54] Speaker 2: to put you in the scene and a lot move
[41:57] Speaker 2: fassa come and they said, okay, like comes charging at you. Now,
[42:07] Speaker 2: what would be your response? Everybody in this room would run.
[42:14] Speaker 2: Look what Samson does because the spirit of the Lord
[42:19] Speaker 2: came powerfully upon him. So he tore the lion apart
[42:25] Speaker 2: with his bare hands. This is crazy to me, as
[42:30] Speaker 2: he might have torn a young goat. Now who tearing.
[42:33] Speaker 3: Gots apart with their bare head? Y'all see what I'm saying?
[42:36] Speaker 2: Like his strength is so crazy. It's like, yeah, it
[42:39] Speaker 2: was crazy he did it with the lion, but like
[42:41] Speaker 2: a goat is like no.
[42:46] Speaker 3: But they're trying to give you.
[42:48] Speaker 2: The contrast of how strong to you? How watch this
[42:51] Speaker 2: gifted he was because some of us are just super
[42:56] Speaker 2: Have you ever met somebody that's just super gifted at
[42:58] Speaker 2: something for no reason? It kind of makes you sick,
[43:01] Speaker 2: Like it's kind of like ill. So what.
[43:07] Speaker 3: This is Samson? And this is some of us?
[43:09] Speaker 2: It said. Then he went down to talk with the
[43:10] Speaker 2: woman he liked her. Verse eight sometime later what was
[43:13] Speaker 2: it sometime? Dang that keeps coming up? When he went
[43:18] Speaker 2: back to marry this girl, he turned aside. He lost focus.
[43:22] Speaker 2: He got distracted, and he took a look at the
[43:30] Speaker 2: lion's carcass, And somehow the lion's carcass had a swarm
[43:37] Speaker 2: of bees and some honey in it. He scooped out
[43:41] Speaker 2: the honey with his hands and ate it as he
[43:44] Speaker 2: went along.
[43:46] Speaker 3: When he rejoined his.
[43:47] Speaker 2: Parents, he gave them some too.
[43:52] Speaker 3: And they too ate it.
[43:54] Speaker 2: But he did not tell them that he had taken
[43:57] Speaker 2: the honey from an unclean animal. Remember the Nazarit vow
[44:05] Speaker 2: don't touch nothing dead, but because something dead had something
[44:09] Speaker 2: sweet next to it. Oh my god, there are too
[44:14] Speaker 2: many believers that are touching dead things because there's something.
[44:18] Speaker 3: Sweet next to it.
[44:19] Speaker 2: There are too many believers that are staying in dead
[44:22] Speaker 2: places because I did a sweet killing when I get there.
[44:25] Speaker 2: There are too many people that are living their life
[44:28] Speaker 2: in a dead place because they had one sweet season
[44:36] Speaker 2: and there was a boundary. And all he did.
[44:42] Speaker 3: Was go to the.
[44:42] Speaker 2: Doorway that would lead.
[44:47] Speaker 3: To his destruction.
[44:50] Speaker 2: But I don't want you to get it twisted. It
[44:53] Speaker 2: wasn't that he killed the lion. He had killed the
[44:57] Speaker 2: lion already. He touched it when it was alive. No no, no,
[45:02] Speaker 2: no no no. The first time he touched the lion
[45:07] Speaker 2: was when it was alive, he killed it, left it,
[45:12] Speaker 2: walked away. But when he was traveling back, he got
[45:19] Speaker 2: distracted and went to the He should have never saw
[45:23] Speaker 2: the honey, but because he turned and looked at watched
[45:30] Speaker 2: this the victory of yesterday, and saw that something good
[45:36] Speaker 2: was over there, he went to it and he touched
[45:40] Speaker 2: the dead thing, which was the first time we know
[45:43] Speaker 2: of that. He walked through a door of distraction that
[45:47] Speaker 2: led him to another door. What I'm trying to tell
[45:53] Speaker 2: you is that the first door of distraction. It's important
[45:57] Speaker 2: that you don't open this one. Important that you don't
[46:01] Speaker 2: try to find out what's behind it. Because every door
[46:04] Speaker 2: of distraction you go into. Watch this, you become desensitized.
[46:09] Speaker 2: It becomes easier that one had a little but you
[46:14] Speaker 2: lean into a door, you use your strength to get
[46:18] Speaker 2: into some doors. Samson walks into this door of distraction,
[46:31] Speaker 2: and it's the first time. Now I need you all
[46:33] Speaker 2: to remember this is before Delilah. Delilah's going to be
[46:40] Speaker 2: the culmination of his destruction. But his destruction started with
[46:46] Speaker 2: a distraction that.
[46:47] Speaker 3: Was a door to another distraction.
[46:50] Speaker 2: Okay, I need to bring up one thing just real quick,
[46:53] Speaker 2: as I'm trying to really close because this thing is
[46:57] Speaker 2: bothering me. Because people don't think you can still be
[47:01] Speaker 2: used powerfully by God and still make dumb decisions. Yeah
[47:07] Speaker 2: you can, Robo Kolski Taya Basa should have bought a
[47:11] Speaker 2: bowtide like, you can do all of that and stand
[47:18] Speaker 2: still be distracted, it says, and the power of the
[47:22] Speaker 2: spirit of God came mightily upon Samson to work in
[47:26] Speaker 2: his gift.
[47:27] Speaker 3: And right after he worked in his gift, he.
[47:30] Speaker 2: Snuck into a distraction and I was like, this, look good, honey.
[47:36] Speaker 3: Don't even fill you up.
[47:42] Speaker 2: I just need It's so beautiful that they used honey,
[47:47] Speaker 2: because honey is not even something that makes your appetite
[47:52] Speaker 2: feel like it's being serviced. Honey is literally just for desire.
[48:05] Speaker 2: This was not going to give him sustenance to go
[48:07] Speaker 2: then do something else, and he had the audacity to
[48:13] Speaker 2: give and incriminate his parents by taking his the result
[48:21] Speaker 2: of his distraction to others. How many times has God
[48:27] Speaker 2: told us we're not supposed to do something, and then
[48:29] Speaker 2: we actually go through the doorway of distraction and then
[48:31] Speaker 2: we're like, hey, y'all found something out that's kind of cool.
[48:39] Speaker 3: Found some honey around.
[48:40] Speaker 2: This dead thing. Pastor Mike, why are you saying this?
[48:45] Speaker 2: It's just some honey. But there's something you missed in
[48:47] Speaker 2: the scripture. I need you to see that. Out of
[48:49] Speaker 2: all of this, the scripture tells us that he did
[48:52] Speaker 2: not tell them he had taken the honey from the
[48:54] Speaker 2: lion's carcass. That means when he went into this doorway
[48:59] Speaker 2: of distraction, I already knew it was something he was
[49:01] Speaker 2: not supposed to do. He took the honey from it,
[49:04] Speaker 2: and somehow he thought it was a good idea to
[49:07] Speaker 2: give his parents, the ones who had given him to God. Okay,
[49:17] Speaker 2: why is this important? Because full disclosure is the opposite
[49:21] Speaker 2: of denial. I think Samson would have closed some of
[49:28] Speaker 2: these doors if he would have been like, y'all, my bad,
[49:31] Speaker 2: I just did some stupid y'all. Remember the line I
[49:34] Speaker 2: told I killed came back honey. This honey is actually
[49:39] Speaker 2: from the line I touched it. Maybe there could have
[49:42] Speaker 2: been a consecration, maybe there could have been repentance, maybe
[49:45] Speaker 2: there could have been something. But because he did not
[49:47] Speaker 2: give full disclosure, I'm tired of I'm tired of believers
[49:50] Speaker 2: telling us the part of the testimony you think we
[49:52] Speaker 2: want to hear.
[49:57] Speaker 3: Escape.
[49:58] Speaker 2: I escaped this relationship that, but you didn't tell us
[50:03] Speaker 2: the other side.
[50:05] Speaker 3: You didn't tell us your part in.
[50:08] Speaker 2: You didn't give us none of the and so now
[50:12] Speaker 2: we're believing for something without full disclosure. In full disclosure,
[50:20] Speaker 2: some of y'all want want something that you sold seeds
[50:25] Speaker 2: the wrong way to get So when people come to
[50:28] Speaker 2: us for marriage counseling or do there like our relationship
[50:31] Speaker 2: is just not working, you didn't tell us you cheated
[50:33] Speaker 2: on them. So now we're praying that God would reconcile something.
[50:39] Speaker 3: But there was like there's some.
[50:41] Speaker 2: Real damage there. Pastor Mike, why are.
[50:45] Speaker 3: You saying this?
[50:45] Speaker 2: Because most people are in denial that they got to
[50:48] Speaker 2: tell the full truth. And I'm just telling you right now,
[50:54] Speaker 2: I tried to walk that journey. I tried to be
[50:56] Speaker 2: faithful to my wife and tell her half the truth.
[51:01] Speaker 2: I tried, And some of y'all like, let the dead
[51:04] Speaker 2: bodies lay.
[51:07] Speaker 3: Let I don't even know the analogy, but just leave.
[51:10] Speaker 2: Alonge, leave alone. But a lie always keeps disconnection. Passor Mike,
[51:22] Speaker 2: you really asking me either we gonna live this Christian
[51:26] Speaker 2: life in truth and integrity and actually do what God's saying,
[51:32] Speaker 2: or you're going to have no power. This is and
[51:38] Speaker 2: this is why we keep going through these doors. Okay,
[51:42] Speaker 2: here we go, passor Mike, what are you trying to
[51:45] Speaker 2: say to us today? The problem is you, like Samson,
[51:50] Speaker 2: you keep playing with what almost killed you. He goes
[52:00] Speaker 2: back over to the lion that could have killed him.
[52:03] Speaker 2: Let's be clear, move fossa Simba scar. They could have
[52:07] Speaker 2: tooken his life, but only because the spirit of God
[52:12] Speaker 2: came on him. He was able to do this, and
[52:16] Speaker 2: somehow he confused the gifting with the God who gave
[52:21] Speaker 2: the gifts. Somehow he thought like, yeah, I can beat
[52:26] Speaker 2: lions up. I can get through this, I can go
[52:29] Speaker 2: through these relationships and not be I can do this,
[52:32] Speaker 2: I can make this happen. And he forgot the only
[52:35] Speaker 2: reason he was able to come out of that situation
[52:37] Speaker 2: with a lion was because God did something. But the
[52:44] Speaker 2: reason he got distracted is because he kept playing with
[52:48] Speaker 2: what almost killed him. Is there any area in your
[52:52] Speaker 2: life where you're still playing with a distraction that has
[52:57] Speaker 2: almost killed you? Is there any area in your life
[53:03] Speaker 2: that you keep going through the doors. And the matter
[53:08] Speaker 2: of fact, what happens is when you go through these doors.
[53:11] Speaker 2: It gets so easy for you now that you you
[53:16] Speaker 2: know not you don't say anything. It's like, Yo, what
[53:20] Speaker 2: y'all doing in here? Okay, I'll be back walking to
[53:28] Speaker 2: this other door. I'll be back. Y'all be good. I'll
[53:32] Speaker 2: be back. And what happens is the door stay open.
[53:39] Speaker 2: There's nothing that's keeping me. There is nothing that's stopping me.
[53:46] Speaker 2: It's very simple for people now to walk through doors
[53:51] Speaker 2: that I've already opened. It's easy for them to see
[53:57] Speaker 2: what's happening because nobody's ever doing what I'm asking you
[54:04] Speaker 2: to do today on all your distractions. Shut the door,
[54:11] Speaker 2: passor Mike, what are you saying to every distraction in
[54:14] Speaker 2: your life? Shut it, don't leave it cracked, don't have
[54:22] Speaker 2: it kind of open. Shut the door. I don't know
[54:27] Speaker 2: if you grew up like I did, but when it
[54:28] Speaker 2: was hot outside and we was running in and out
[54:31] Speaker 2: of the house, sometimes we would leave the door open
[54:34] Speaker 2: and then you would hear this voice come from heaven
[54:37] Speaker 2: and they'd like, bye, shut.
[54:41] Speaker 3: The door. I feel Heaven.
[54:44] Speaker 2: Calling somebody in here that has been distracted by things
[54:47] Speaker 2: that they have walked into in different seasons and allowed
[54:50] Speaker 2: to be there. This is the time where God is
[54:53] Speaker 2: saying shut. I'm shutting it on abuse and lying and insecurity.
[55:00] Speaker 2: I'm coming to this and I'm doing what shut the door.
[55:04] Speaker 2: I'm shutting it on comparison, perversion and addiction, and God's
[55:08] Speaker 2: calling some of y'all to shut the door. I will
[55:12] Speaker 2: be everything God called me to be. I will shut
[55:15] Speaker 2: the door to the enemy, and I will stand up
[55:18] Speaker 2: and be focused by faith. Somebody give God a shot
[55:21] Speaker 2: of praise.
[55:22] Speaker 3: In this place.
[55:25] Speaker 2: This is what it's gonna look like. Somebody say, I'm
[55:30] Speaker 2: shutting the door standing all over this place.
[55:40] Speaker 3: Cust the mic.
[55:41] Speaker 2: You didn't tell us the title of your message. It's
[55:45] Speaker 2: very simple. No, it's not shut the door. It probably
[55:50] Speaker 2: should have been, but the sentiment, that's the answer. But
[55:57] Speaker 2: I just want you to know there's always a doorway
[56:01] Speaker 2: to distraction. Like hear me, Everybody listen, this is always
[56:08] Speaker 2: gonna be there. You're one click away from ruining a
[56:15] Speaker 2: place in your brain that can look at your spouse.
[56:17] Speaker 3: In a healthy way.
[56:23] Speaker 2: There'll always be here. But the Bible says there's no temptation,
[56:29] Speaker 2: no distractions. This is common to man, he said, And
[56:35] Speaker 2: God always provides a way of a or you could
[56:39] Speaker 2: say it a different way.
[56:40] Speaker 3: There's always another door.
[56:45] Speaker 2: See at the moment that I could go through.
[56:46] Speaker 3: The door of distraction, there is the door Romans six
[56:55] Speaker 3: 's one.
[56:57] Speaker 2: Well, then should we keep going through these the lords
[57:00] Speaker 2: of distraction, keep on sinning, so that God can show
[57:02] Speaker 2: us more and more of his wonderful grace. Of course not,
[57:09] Speaker 2: since we have died to sind. How can we continue
[57:12] Speaker 2: to live in it? How we gonna keep them doors cracked?
[57:15] Speaker 2: Or have you forgotten that you when you were joined
[57:18] Speaker 2: with Christ Jesus and Baptism, we joined him in his death.
[57:22] Speaker 2: For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism.
[57:26] Speaker 2: And just as Christ was raised from the dead by
[57:29] Speaker 2: the glorious power of the Father, now we also watch
[57:33] Speaker 2: this may live new lives.
[57:39] Speaker 3: I don't care how far you've been down the doors
[57:43] Speaker 3: of distraction.
[57:45] Speaker 2: If you find yourself at a door right now, there's
[57:50] Speaker 2: more infinite amount of doors that lead to your death.
[57:54] Speaker 2: Because the wages of sin is the wages of going
[57:57] Speaker 2: down this road of distraction is death. Wherever you are,
[58:01] Speaker 2: the only thing that can change you is that you turn.
[58:06] Speaker 3: Biblical word, for that is repent.
[58:11] Speaker 2: God. I've been stuck at this door for years, and Father,
[58:16] Speaker 2: I don't see myself living without this substance.
[58:19] Speaker 3: I don't know what to do with what's going.
[58:21] Speaker 2: On in my heart. Father, God, and I've messed up
[58:23] Speaker 2: so many things. Could you ever use anybody like me? Father?
[58:29] Speaker 2: In this moment right now? I'm broken, I'm hurting, I'm embarrassed.
[58:33] Speaker 2: I don't even feel like it's worth trying to go
[58:35] Speaker 2: back over there for all of the people that I'm
[58:38] Speaker 2: gonna have to convince I'm not what I did. God.
[58:43] Speaker 2: I made careers by this. I'm known on social media
[58:46] Speaker 2: for this. God, I am a bad person there. They
[58:49] Speaker 2: can pull up tape on me. I have bodies everywhere,
[58:52] Speaker 2: I have lies everywhere. There's so much God, what can
[58:54] Speaker 2: you do with somebody like God. I ruined the church. God,
[59:00] Speaker 2: I didn't do what you said for me to do. God,
[59:02] Speaker 2: I'll ruin my marriage. God. I don't know what to do.
[59:04] Speaker 2: I feel like I might as well keep going the
[59:07] Speaker 2: other way. Today I hear the Holy Spirit saying, all
[59:13] Speaker 2: it takes is you turning and standing by faith and
[59:21] Speaker 2: looking at everything that could be and shutting the door.
[59:28] Speaker 2: And God's gonna give you people in tribes and in
[59:31] Speaker 2: a church that are gonna be cheering for you. I
[59:34] Speaker 2: see this whole section over here. Can y'all tell me
[59:36] Speaker 2: to come out, come on, tell me to come out.
[59:38] Speaker 2: See right now, in the midst of my moment, and
[59:41] Speaker 2: I don't know what to do. I see some light
[59:43] Speaker 2: at the end of the tunnel. Have you been through
[59:45] Speaker 2: this too? Have you gone through things like this? Can
[59:48] Speaker 2: God give you a new life? Okay, I'm coming and
[59:51] Speaker 2: I'm gonna shut the door on this. I don't know
[59:53] Speaker 2: if I can really make the whole change. I don't
[59:55] Speaker 2: know if God can use anybody like me. Has anybody
[1:00:03] Speaker 2: ever lived in alternate lifestyle? Has anybody ever dealt with
[1:00:06] Speaker 2: these things? Has anybody had these secrets? But there's somebody
[1:00:10] Speaker 2: continuing to pray for me, and there's somebody that's saying
[1:00:13] Speaker 2: you can do this. And I don't know what my
[1:00:16] Speaker 2: life would be without this stuff. But right now I'm
[1:00:19] Speaker 2: making a decision by saying to not look back and
[1:00:23] Speaker 2: to shut the door.
[1:00:29] Speaker 3: And turn.
[1:00:34] Speaker 2: To the only door that can save me. Yeah, what
[1:00:42] Speaker 2: will this mean for me? A new life? Old things
[1:00:50] Speaker 2: will pass away, and behold, he will make everything everybody
[1:00:56] Speaker 2: shot at me new. One scripture for those because this
[1:01:00] Speaker 2: is ministring to somebody. John ten nine says, I am
[1:01:04] Speaker 2: the door. This is what Jesus says about himself. Somebody
[1:01:08] Speaker 2: say I am the door. So for every door of distraction,
[1:01:13] Speaker 2: God said, that's a door. But I am the door.
[1:01:20] Speaker 2: If anyone enters by me through Jesus, he will be
[1:01:24] Speaker 2: saved and will go in and out and find pastor.
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: John fourteen six said Jesus answer, did I am the Way,
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: the Truth and the light. Today if you've been tempted
[1:01:51] Speaker 2: by the door of distractions, today, I want to introduce
[1:01:55] Speaker 2: you to the door.
[1:01:58] Speaker 3: His name is.
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: Jesus, and all you have to do is open up
[1:02:04] Speaker 2: your heart and accept him. But where are all the
[1:02:08] Speaker 2: other doors? You don't need any more doors, because this
[1:02:12] Speaker 2: one door can change your whole life. I need about
[1:02:15] Speaker 2: ten thousand people who have experienced transformation to let somebody
[1:02:20] Speaker 2: who's decided know that Jesus can change everything. My last
[1:02:30] Speaker 2: point is Jesus is the only door to destiny. You
[1:02:36] Speaker 2: want to do what God's called you to do, no
[1:02:39] Speaker 2: more distraction. You can even be saved and try to
[1:02:44] Speaker 2: come over here. And today God's calling you back. Come
[1:02:48] Speaker 2: back through the door, Come back through the Way, the
[1:02:52] Speaker 2: Truth and the life. I have a very strong altar
[1:02:56] Speaker 2: call today. Not actually, I feel like the Holy Spirit
[1:03:04] Speaker 2: confirmed it earlier as I was in the back. Today,
[1:03:09] Speaker 2: if you know that there are distractions in your life
[1:03:14] Speaker 2: that you want to shut the door on once and
[1:03:16] Speaker 2: for all, I need you to make a step of faith,
[1:03:20] Speaker 2: and I need you to come.
[1:03:21] Speaker 3: To this alter. And this is not a long thing.
[1:03:24] Speaker 2: This is not but today you're shutting the door.
[1:03:27] Speaker 3: It's okay.
[1:03:27] Speaker 2: People will let you out the aisle, just say excuse me.
[1:03:29] Speaker 3: Come all the way to the front.
[1:03:31] Speaker 2: Come on. I don't care if you're a pastor or leader,
[1:03:33] Speaker 2: a musician, you have your own choice if church. If
[1:03:36] Speaker 2: there are distractions that you know you need to shut
[1:03:39] Speaker 2: the door on today, I want you to come. Come
[1:03:40] Speaker 2: on all the way up, y'all. This alter is gonna
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: be food. This is a moment. I don't care if
[1:03:47] Speaker 2: your husband comes. I don't care if your wife comes.
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: I don't care if your boyfriend comes. I don't care
[1:03:50] Speaker 2: if your girlfriend comes. This is for you.
[1:03:53] Speaker 3: And there are some.
[1:03:54] Speaker 2: Things that have been distractions that today you're.
[1:03:57] Speaker 3: Saying, I'm shutting the door. Come on.
[1:04:06] Speaker 2: I hear the Holy Spirit he's moving, and please we'll
[1:04:14] Speaker 2: be all up the aisles and our well, there's nonspace
[1:04:16] Speaker 2: for me. God knows my heart. Yeah, you're still in denial.
[1:04:22] Speaker 2: I'm not saying the alter changes you. But there's something
[1:04:25] Speaker 2: that happens when you make a sign, when you say
[1:04:27] Speaker 2: I don't care if anybody knows. I want the healing
[1:04:31] Speaker 2: that God provides. I'm gonna I'm gonna say it. I'm
[1:04:35] Speaker 2: giving a second, I'm staying. I'm pausing right here because
[1:04:38] Speaker 2: some people's pride is getting in the way right now,
[1:04:42] Speaker 2: and I just I just hear the Holy Spirit telling
[1:04:44] Speaker 2: me to do something. I'm gonna shut all these doors
[1:04:46] Speaker 2: one more time. I'm not even gonna say nothing that
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: this is a prophetic symbol of what God is about
[1:04:51] Speaker 2: to do in your life. Some of this stuff has
[1:04:54] Speaker 2: been opened and been opened generationally, but I believe get
[1:04:58] Speaker 2: used to the sound. Get used to the sound. Get
[1:05:04] Speaker 2: used to the sound, Get used to the sound.
[1:05:10] Speaker 3: Hands lifted all over this altar. If you're at home,
[1:05:13] Speaker 3: the spirit of God is with us.
[1:05:14] Speaker 2: I want you to know there's people all over this place,
[1:05:16] Speaker 2: down the aisle in the middle. Father God, this is
[1:05:22] Speaker 2: our sign of surrender and Holy Spirit. I am praying
[1:05:29] Speaker 2: for every person under the sound of my voice that
[1:05:31] Speaker 2: today is a turning point, a point of repentance from
[1:05:36] Speaker 2: the pastor Father God all the way to the person
[1:05:38] Speaker 2: who just came to faith. I thank you that in
[1:05:41] Speaker 2: this moment we will no longer agree with our distractions.
[1:05:48] Speaker 2: We cut ties with our distraction Today, Father God, we
[1:05:54] Speaker 2: are making a decision. We want the destiny that you
[1:05:57] Speaker 2: designed for us. Father Sam was supposed to be a
[1:06:01] Speaker 2: deliverer and got taken out by his distractions. Today, Father,
[1:06:05] Speaker 2: I rebuke the lies that tell us that our distractions
[1:06:08] Speaker 2: are going to be the thing of our downfall. Today, Father,
[1:06:11] Speaker 2: I thank you for divine focus. Come on right now,
[1:06:13] Speaker 2: begin to pray. Father, I thank you that every person
[1:06:16] Speaker 2: that has made this faith.
[1:06:17] Speaker 3: Step to come up.
[1:06:18] Speaker 2: Father, whether we've been distracted by others, distracted by our
[1:06:21] Speaker 2: own thoughts, distracted Father God, by entertainment, distracted by money,
[1:06:25] Speaker 2: distracted Father God by fear. In the name of Jesus,
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: I declare that today your supernatural power will come on
[1:06:35] Speaker 2: us like never before to literally shut the.
[1:06:38] Speaker 3: Door on the lies of the enemy.
[1:06:41] Speaker 2: And I pray specifically for us who have been in denial. Father,
[1:06:46] Speaker 2: if there have been places in our hearts and our
[1:06:49] Speaker 2: minds where we wouldn't even allow ourselves to be open
[1:06:51] Speaker 2: to seeing a new truth. Father God, I thank you
[1:06:55] Speaker 2: that we would remove pride and walk in humility right
[1:06:58] Speaker 2: now in the name of Jesus, Father God, this is
[1:07:00] Speaker 2: not about self improvement. This is like about life transformation. God.
[1:07:05] Speaker 2: We're not just trying to do better. We're trying to
[1:07:07] Speaker 2: be who You've created us to be. So, Father, for
[1:07:09] Speaker 2: every tear that is flowing, and for every person who
[1:07:11] Speaker 2: has found theirselves in such a place in destruction, I
[1:07:14] Speaker 2: thank you for hope rising right now in the name
[1:07:16] Speaker 2: of Jesus. I declare and I believe in the name
[1:07:19] Speaker 2: of Jesus, that you are bringing us into a place,
[1:07:21] Speaker 2: Father God, where we will walk into the abundance of
[1:07:24] Speaker 2: what our destiny looks like, not BeTrapped in the cycles
[1:07:28] Speaker 2: of distraction that lead to destruction. I pray, Father God,
[1:07:33] Speaker 2: that there would be a gentle spirit, that we would
[1:07:36] Speaker 2: be empathetic with ourself and others as we walk into
[1:07:40] Speaker 2: new seasons. Give us the grace to not think that
[1:07:45] Speaker 2: everything changes overnight, but give us the grace to stay
[1:07:48] Speaker 2: consistent on the journey. And Father, I thank you that
[1:07:52] Speaker 2: you would reveal to us beyond Sunday, how we practically
[1:07:56] Speaker 2: put death to these distractions. Today by the way, spirit,
[1:08:00] Speaker 2: we shut the door, and we thank you for freedom
[1:08:04] Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus.
[1:08:15] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[1:08:19] Speaker 2: Look at me, some of you, I'm giving you permission
[1:08:23] Speaker 2: to grief. Hear me, hear me, hear me. Listen, listen
[1:08:28] Speaker 2: while I'm saying that, because some of you these things
[1:08:31] Speaker 2: have been so familiar, you've been so distracted by being
[1:08:38] Speaker 2: the victim that you never could see yourself having victory.
[1:08:43] Speaker 2: I want you to go ahead. It's okay that you grieve, but.
[1:08:47] Speaker 3: We're not going back.
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: No.
[1:08:49] Speaker 3: Hear me, hear me what I'm saying. And there are
[1:08:52] Speaker 3: practical things.
[1:08:53] Speaker 2: There are practical things some of you need to do
[1:08:57] Speaker 2: to shut the door. I said, spiritually, we're shut the door.
[1:09:00] Speaker 3: For some of you.
[1:09:01] Speaker 2: To shut the door, you need an entirely new phone
[1:09:06] Speaker 2: and a.
[1:09:07] Speaker 3: New phone number.
[1:09:09] Speaker 2: There's no way, my man like dad come here like goddag.
[1:09:13] Speaker 2: I just got the phone sixteen god dog. You need
[1:09:18] Speaker 2: cause because because that door opens at two in the morning,
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: three in the morning, six in the morning, it there's
[1:09:23] Speaker 2: too much access some of us, some of us need
[1:09:30] Speaker 2: to have a conversation. And this is what I'm gonna
[1:09:34] Speaker 2: say to you, some of y'all don't need to have
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: a conversation because your distraction knows just what to say
[1:09:42] Speaker 2: and just how to make you. And girl, I thought
[1:09:44] Speaker 2: we was in we it needs to be boo boo boom,
[1:09:52] Speaker 2: sorry this customer, that's what it needs. That's I'm gonna
[1:09:57] Speaker 2: go deeper. Some of you have to move out of
[1:10:00] Speaker 2: the place that you're staying. No, no, no, I'm not
[1:10:04] Speaker 2: saying that it may not be the best fiscal situation
[1:10:07] Speaker 2: for you right now, but staying with that roommate and
[1:10:11] Speaker 2: the things are staying with that boyfriend or girlfriend are
[1:10:14] Speaker 2: staying with that family is just toxic for you.
[1:10:17] Speaker 3: You would be better off.
[1:10:21] Speaker 2: In a situation you don't like, then in a situation
[1:10:23] Speaker 2: that feels comfortable and is killing you. For others of you,
[1:10:30] Speaker 2: I need you to hear me. We're almost done, y'all.
[1:10:33] Speaker 2: You need to come clean. I'm encouraging everybody to get.
[1:10:37] Speaker 3: In a tribe. Sign up today, sign up.
[1:10:39] Speaker 2: Next week, because there's people who are just like you
[1:10:42] Speaker 2: that have gone through what you're going through or something
[1:10:45] Speaker 2: similar and have wisdom. But if it doesn't come out
[1:10:49] Speaker 2: of you, it kills you from the inside out? How
[1:10:57] Speaker 2: are you going to shut the door to the distraction.
[1:10:59] Speaker 2: I believe the whole Spirit's gonna ask you to do
[1:11:01] Speaker 2: something that is uncomfortable. Some of you no social.
[1:11:08] Speaker 3: Media for the rest of the year.
[1:11:13] Speaker 2: Past what they're gonna do when they can't see what
[1:11:15] Speaker 2: I'm doing the same thing they was.
[1:11:17] Speaker 3: Doing the pastor why are you saying that?
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: Because it's a distraction of everything that happens politically, and
[1:11:24] Speaker 2: then you gotta tell your five followers how you feel
[1:11:27] Speaker 2: about it and make.
[1:11:28] Speaker 3: A video and do all.
[1:11:30] Speaker 2: God's trying to give you a solution to something, but
[1:11:32] Speaker 2: you're so distracted. Some of y'all are gonna have to
[1:11:39] Speaker 2: take I'm talking to moms and dads. You're gonna have
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: to change your schedule because you have no time for
[1:11:48] Speaker 2: God to pour into you and you're pouring out all day.
[1:11:54] Speaker 2: The kids don't have to do extreme fencing. I'm just saying,
[1:12:00] Speaker 2: they're in basketball, soccer, they're in ballet, they're in the
[1:12:04] Speaker 2: A extreme fin They're not gonna have a career in
[1:12:06] Speaker 2: extreme fancy.
[1:12:10] Speaker 3: Y'all get my point.
[1:12:11] Speaker 2: I'm just saying, maybe you take an out claim an
[1:12:13] Speaker 2: hour back to actually do the things that matter husband's
[1:12:20] Speaker 2: and wife date each other. Remember why you fell in love.
[1:12:26] Speaker 2: Talk about the things that are on your heart so
[1:12:28] Speaker 2: they don't fester and become something else. If you're divorced,
[1:12:31] Speaker 2: hear me, go to counseling and tell somebody the places
[1:12:41] Speaker 2: you were in denial, not just the places they were
[1:12:43] Speaker 2: in denial. Healing. It's what God wants from us. And
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: we're gonna walk out and shut the door on every distraction.
[1:12:55] Speaker 2: If you were in this room, I feel the sweet
[1:12:57] Speaker 2: presence of God in this place, y'all. Something that's about
[1:13:00] Speaker 2: to happen, even in this moment. I need to pray
[1:13:04] Speaker 2: for salvation right here because somebody's choosing right now to
[1:13:08] Speaker 2: choose the way. And if you're watching me online or
[1:13:13] Speaker 2: you're in this room right now, on the counter three,
[1:13:16] Speaker 2: if you want to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord
[1:13:18] Speaker 2: and savior, and you want to repent and go through
[1:13:20] Speaker 2: this door, and I'm saying you may have done it before,
[1:13:22] Speaker 2: but you wasn't serious. And God's saying right now I
[1:13:26] Speaker 2: want you to make a fresh commitment. If that's you
[1:13:28] Speaker 2: on the counter of three, I just want you to
[1:13:29] Speaker 2: slip your hand in the air. One you're making the
[1:13:31] Speaker 2: greatest decision you've ever made. Too. God is with you,
[1:13:35] Speaker 2: and your name is going to be written in the
[1:13:36] Speaker 2: Lamb book. Alike. I see you, my brother, I see
[1:13:39] Speaker 2: you my sister. Oh, y'all got to shout better than that,
[1:13:42] Speaker 2: I see you, I see you, Broth and more than that,
[1:13:44] Speaker 2: God sees you. God sees you, God sees you, God
[1:13:47] Speaker 2: sees you. Hey, listen online, this is the moment.
[1:13:53] Speaker 3: God sees you.
[1:13:54] Speaker 2: A transformation. In church, we're a family. Nobody prays alone.
[1:13:57] Speaker 2: So if one of those brothers and sisters were near you,
[1:13:59] Speaker 2: just slip your hand on them, and then everybody else
[1:14:01] Speaker 2: let's pray.
[1:14:01] Speaker 3: Say God, thank you for sending Jesus just for me. Today.
[1:14:09] Speaker 3: I repent and I turn to you.
[1:14:13] Speaker 2: I believe you lived, you die, and you rose again
[1:14:18] Speaker 2: with all power just for me. Use me, change me,
[1:14:26] Speaker 2: renew me. I'm yours forever. I will no longer be
[1:14:31] Speaker 2: distracted by anything, but I will be focused on you
[1:14:39] Speaker 2: in Jesus' name.
[1:14:41] Speaker 3: Amen.
[1:14:43] Speaker 2: Can we give God some praise in this place?
[1:14:45] Speaker 3: Oh?
[1:14:45] Speaker 2: Come on, halleuja. I want to welcome everybody who made
[1:14:52] Speaker 2: that decision to the family, and I want you to
[1:14:55] Speaker 2: text save to eight to eight two now before everybody
[1:14:57] Speaker 2: at the altars move and wait a minute, wait a minute,
[1:15:02] Speaker 2: we're about to love it.
[1:15:03] Speaker 3: It's twelve fifteen.
[1:15:03] Speaker 2: We're out of here, okay, But I just need you
[1:15:08] Speaker 2: to decide what you're leaving at this altar. I'm not
[1:15:13] Speaker 2: about to I'm gonna tell the praise team to just worship.
[1:15:16] Speaker 2: Service about to be over right after this hear in
[1:15:20] Speaker 2: just about fifteen twenty minutes, we're gonna do a meet
[1:15:22] Speaker 2: the pastor and I'm gonna be over there with some
[1:15:25] Speaker 2: of our leaders and pastors. And I would love if
[1:15:27] Speaker 2: this is your first time, or you came in or
[1:15:29] Speaker 2: you're part of TC and Bennie, you wanted to meet us.
[1:15:31] Speaker 3: And we're gonna we're gonna talk to you. I'mnna hug you.
[1:15:34] Speaker 3: I'm gonna kiss you. I love that.
[1:15:35] Speaker 2: I'm not gonna kiss you, but I'm gonna hug you.
[1:15:37] Speaker 2: And I really want to meet you. But I just
[1:15:41] Speaker 2: I just don't want you to lead this moment too fast,
[1:15:45] Speaker 2: trying to get to something to distract you.
[1:15:48] Speaker 3: I'm hungry, Pastor. I've been faster for twenty one days.
[1:15:50] Speaker 2: Hold on, wait, it's the Yeah, I get it, but
[1:15:56] Speaker 2: some of us don't even need to go back to
[1:15:57] Speaker 2: what we was doing. You say that habit.
[1:16:05] Speaker 3: I want to be altered here read the altar.
[1:16:10] Speaker 6: H I'm ready for change. Goodbye Yesterday.
[1:16:19] Speaker 2: Why because he's calling my name? We say, I want
[1:16:24] Speaker 2: to be all here, Come on, hands lifted, we're about
[1:16:27] Speaker 2: to go. But I'm ready for Chase.
[1:16:29] Speaker 6: Say I'm ready for j goodbye, yes, today, goodbye yesterday.
[1:16:37] Speaker 2: It's all in my name. He's calling in my name.
[1:16:43] Speaker 2: How wanta be all?
[1:16:45] Speaker 3: You're at the just w turn.
[1:16:48] Speaker 2: I'm ready for Chase, saying dom ready.
[1:16:52] Speaker 6: Good bye, yes, goodbye, Yes, it's calling my name.
[1:16:58] Speaker 7: Oh, just one more time. Something is changing. This is
[1:17:12] Speaker 7: our confession this week.
[1:17:28] Speaker 2: Don't open the door to the distraction. Okay, I'm gonna
[1:17:33] Speaker 2: teach you next week how we walk this out practically.
[1:17:37] Speaker 2: I only you'll only give me about an hour. Okay,
[1:17:39] Speaker 2: so I but but but today we made a decision.
[1:17:43] Speaker 2: Next week, I'm gonna teach you how.
[1:17:45] Speaker 3: We do this.
[1:17:47] Speaker 2: But I'm telling you you know, because the spirit lives
[1:17:50] Speaker 2: inside you. So when the spirit says stuff like don't
[1:17:54] Speaker 2: answer the phone, I want you to see yourself doing this.
[1:17:59] Speaker 2: Bring ring dope you Hey, don't go out with them.
[1:18:07] Speaker 2: But it's their birthday. That doesn't matter for you. You
[1:18:16] Speaker 2: they can't be your client. Okay, whoo, it's money, I
[1:18:25] Speaker 2: need them. You can't work with them. Hey, hey, don't
[1:18:36] Speaker 2: tell them about your problem because everybody you feel comfortable
[1:18:42] Speaker 2: with does not have wisdom for your future. I keep
[1:18:52] Speaker 2: slamming it because some of us have to make a
[1:18:54] Speaker 2: decision that this is not something that's a quiet thing.
[1:18:59] Speaker 2: I want the people around me to hear. Oh, he
[1:19:01] Speaker 2: did it again. He closed the door, and this is
[1:19:05] Speaker 2: the thing when you close the door to the distraction.
[1:19:09] Speaker 3: Oh I need another week.
[1:19:13] Speaker 2: What used to be the thing that leads to destruction
[1:19:16] Speaker 2: actually becomes protection. So if anything's trying to get to me,
[1:19:22] Speaker 2: I have layers of protection. I am grateful that God
[1:19:33] Speaker 2: has brought this word, and I don't want it to
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: be a moment. I want it to be the beginning
[1:19:38] Speaker 2: of a movement. Today. I want you to practice this
[1:19:43] Speaker 2: when you get to your house. I just want you
[1:19:46] Speaker 2: to slam a door. Yeah, I'm not playing. I'm not playing. Now,
[1:19:50] Speaker 2: whichever door you're more comfortable with. It could be your
[1:19:52] Speaker 2: car door, it could be your house door. Kids, if
[1:19:54] Speaker 2: you live with your parents, tell them what you're about.
[1:19:55] Speaker 2: To do be PASTERBD told me, because I don't want
[1:19:57] Speaker 2: you to get to beat this but just by faith,
[1:20:02] Speaker 2: and we're gonna post this all over social media. I
[1:20:04] Speaker 2: just want you to just walk over to a door
[1:20:08] Speaker 2: and maybe you can write on a piece of tape
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: what it was, what's you're shutting? You might have some
[1:20:15] Speaker 2: names on that, Mom demand Dequon Dessante, Ah, how's some
[1:20:23] Speaker 2: Mike White? Because sometimes those little prophetic statements they change
[1:20:29] Speaker 2: the way you look at what's happening. Father, bless these people.
[1:20:34] Speaker 2: Thank you that you're you brought us through this twenty
[1:20:36] Speaker 2: one days.
[1:20:37] Speaker 3: Of prayer and fasting.
[1:20:38] Speaker 2: God, and I thank you that you're giving us the
[1:20:40] Speaker 2: faith to focus. Thank you that this will be a
[1:20:44] Speaker 2: week Father God, that distractions will not be the thing
[1:20:48] Speaker 2: that lead us anywhere to destruction. But we trust you,
[1:20:51] Speaker 2: we believe you, and we focus on you until next week. Father,
[1:20:55] Speaker 2: Thank you that you'll keep doing this work. This was
[1:20:57] Speaker 2: just the start. Who thank you for altering us at
