Sometimes, in the middle of a crash out, God will send correction our way. Just like a quarterback throws a pass to his receiver, God throws us correction. Will you catch it? In Week 5 of the Triggered Sermon Series, Pastor Michael Todd reminds us that God corrects those He loves, and His grace keeps us in the game. We are corrected because we have a calling, which means we must stay in position to receive it. We pray this message helps you recognize God’s correction as an expression of His love and prepares your heart to receive it well. [0:02] Speaker 1: Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
[0:09] Speaker 1: glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
[0:12] Speaker 1: God will transform your life. Do today's message today?
[0:16] Speaker 2: As I approach my assignment, I just want to thank
[0:19] Speaker 2: God for everybody being in the house home, and thank
[0:21] Speaker 2: God for all those who are watching online. I'll even
[0:24] Speaker 2: want to thank God for the men and women that
[0:26] Speaker 2: are joining us right now in hundreds of correctional facilities
[0:30] Speaker 2: all around the world. Can we welcome in, Oh, come
[0:33] Speaker 2: on Transformation Church, our brothers and sisters that are watching
[0:36] Speaker 2: by the Pando app. Hey, can I tell you a
[0:39] Speaker 2: cool stat that this year alone, we have seen over
[0:43] Speaker 2: eighty five hundred people give their life to Jesus that
[0:47] Speaker 2: are incarcerated. Y'all don't know in the shout you free
[0:54] Speaker 2: and still bound they bound? And all right, I just
[1:04] Speaker 2: want you to know that we love you and we
[1:06] Speaker 2: believe in you, and if our ministry is touching you
[1:10] Speaker 2: and blessing your life, we get your letters and I
[1:13] Speaker 2: hope you get our responses back. We are really trying
[1:16] Speaker 2: to go to where people need transformation, and we're grateful
[1:22] Speaker 2: for what God is doing today. Today is week five
[1:26] Speaker 2: of a series we're calling everybody say triggered, and I'm
[1:31] Speaker 2: not letting off of this because this series actually is
[1:36] Speaker 2: a trigger. The series is the series is meant to
[1:43] Speaker 2: make you have a reaction. If you're in a church
[1:47] Speaker 2: or with a preacher or somewhere that don't get no
[1:50] Speaker 2: reaction out of you, you may be in a space
[1:54] Speaker 2: that you are not submitted enough to hear the words,
[1:59] Speaker 2: or something in you is not alive. Today I'm coming
[2:06] Speaker 2: to trigger you with the word of God so that
[2:09] Speaker 2: there is a response or a reaction that actually causes
[2:14] Speaker 2: you to watch this change.
[2:18] Speaker 3: And so many people were like after.
[2:21] Speaker 2: The conference, what's the new series? Trigger? Thought you was
[2:27] Speaker 2: going into a fire series? Or no, no, no, the
[2:31] Speaker 2: Holy Spirit has not released me from helping you deal
[2:36] Speaker 2: with your crash outs. You need to put Christ in
[2:42] Speaker 2: the middle of every single one of your crash outs.
[2:47] Speaker 2: Holiday season is upon us, or we could call it
[2:52] Speaker 2: crash out season. So many family issues come up during
[2:58] Speaker 2: this time.
[2:59] Speaker 3: Can I get an amen?
[3:01] Speaker 2: You? You you really playing? And right now who not
[3:04] Speaker 2: to invite? Come on, y'all, how how to get how
[3:09] Speaker 2: to get around what you already said, we're right now
[3:14] Speaker 2: in the season where traffic and gifts and and children
[3:19] Speaker 2: plays and yeah, children's plays.
[3:25] Speaker 3: I got stuck there.
[3:26] Speaker 2: My daughter told me this week she's married in in
[3:29] Speaker 2: in a in a play at her school. That means
[3:36] Speaker 2: I gotta remember lines. That means. That means we got
[3:40] Speaker 2: to figure out costumes.
[3:41] Speaker 3: That that means.
[3:42] Speaker 2: And I'm saying little stuff, but I don't know what's
[3:44] Speaker 2: going on in your life. But there are things that
[3:46] Speaker 2: we face daily that have the opportunity to trigger us.
[3:52] Speaker 2: And what I found about the things that trigger me,
[3:54] Speaker 2: that get a reaction, that get an impulse response, is
[3:58] Speaker 2: that before I reach I need to everybody say pause.
[4:04] Speaker 2: And this is what we don't do. We don't take
[4:07] Speaker 2: time after we're triggered. We react to something. And this
[4:13] Speaker 2: is what I found, that every trigger is an invitation
[4:17] Speaker 2: by God to transform. It seems simple, but every time
[4:23] Speaker 2: I get triggered, God saying, hey, do you want to
[4:27] Speaker 2: act the way you did the last nineteen types or
[4:32] Speaker 2: do you want to use some of the Bible you've
[4:34] Speaker 2: been reading. Would you like to actually apply some of
[4:39] Speaker 2: the book of notes. You have the journal that you got,
[4:44] Speaker 2: Open a page fourteen and let's see if we can
[4:48] Speaker 2: respond differently than how we respond it last time. The
[4:52] Speaker 2: sad truth is most Christians are good with information, not implementation.
[4:59] Speaker 2: Most believer would rather it be in their notebook or
[5:03] Speaker 2: a screenshop that they can post than a life that
[5:06] Speaker 2: they actually live. And what I'm telling you is, many
[5:10] Speaker 2: times things are allowed to trigger us as an opportunity
[5:15] Speaker 2: for you to prove that God is actually in you.
[5:21] Speaker 2: How do you know that you actually believe what you
[5:25] Speaker 2: believe until you're in a situation where you need to
[5:29] Speaker 2: use it. You talk about peace, but you cannot honestly
[5:35] Speaker 2: stand flat footed and say you have peace until you
[5:39] Speaker 2: have peace in a storm. Peace doesn't even exist outside
[5:47] Speaker 2: of a storm because there's nothing to authenticate the peace,
[5:52] Speaker 2: Oh God. And so I would just like everybody to
[5:57] Speaker 2: examine in your own life, am I actually possessing the
[6:02] Speaker 2: things that I say that I have? Or am I
[6:05] Speaker 2: just being triggered reacting and playing the same scenario over
[6:09] Speaker 2: and over. And Christians have become addicted to cycles. Some
[6:15] Speaker 2: of you are planning your cycle right now of getting
[6:18] Speaker 2: in a relationship with somebody through the holiday season. You'll
[6:23] Speaker 2: be at somebody's house for Thanksgiving and you'll be on
[6:26] Speaker 2: somebody's secret Santa for Christmas, and you'll be joining us
[6:30] Speaker 2: for twenty one days of prayer and fasting single in
[6:32] Speaker 2: January every year. Go to here my heart. Hold on? Wait,
[6:41] Speaker 2: would you step back for a second and see? Hold on?
[6:48] Speaker 2: Is this fool coming into my life right now? Is
[6:53] Speaker 2: this the thing that triggers my insecurity of not being
[6:57] Speaker 2: wanted by a man? And should I before I'd be like,
[7:02] Speaker 2: oh my God, be daddy, you want to take me where?
[7:04] Speaker 2: Before I do that? Before I do that again again?
[7:13] Speaker 2: Let me Paul, everybody say pause, let me step back
[7:18] Speaker 2: and see. It's this an invitation by God to transform
[7:26] Speaker 2: because many of us don't realize it, but each one
[7:30] Speaker 2: of our triggers is attached to a trauma. And until
[7:33] Speaker 2: we deal with the trauma, we actually will never transform.
[7:38] Speaker 2: We will play this over and over and over and
[7:41] Speaker 2: over and over and what again? And today God has
[7:47] Speaker 2: sent me as a coach, as a counselor, as a pastor,
[7:51] Speaker 2: as a divine interruption, to divinely interrupt the cycle that
[7:58] Speaker 2: is about to passive happen again. It's so subtle. Some
[8:06] Speaker 2: of y'all about to go. You just got out of
[8:07] Speaker 2: debt and You're about to go back into it for
[8:12] Speaker 2: children who not even gonna like what you get them anyway. No,
[8:17] Speaker 2: I'm you're about to go back into impressing a family
[8:22] Speaker 2: that does not even want to see you differently. But
[8:28] Speaker 2: again that trigger. Oh, I gotta get Sally a present,
[8:31] Speaker 2: and I gotta go.
[8:31] Speaker 3: I gotta do this, and I gotta show up for this,
[8:33] Speaker 3: and I gotta go to all the balls.
[8:35] Speaker 2: Then I gotta do all You don't even want to
[8:37] Speaker 2: be there, But that trigger has hit the trauma of insecurity,
[8:42] Speaker 2: of when they didn't invite you when you were in
[8:43] Speaker 2: middle school.
[8:45] Speaker 3: And so because you won't deal with that.
[8:46] Speaker 2: The cycle starts again. And today is a divine interruption,
[8:56] Speaker 2: because if you do not deal with the situation at
[9:01] Speaker 2: its root level, your unaddressed triggers. Write this down will
[9:05] Speaker 2: usually lead to a crash out. Your unaddressed triggers will
[9:12] Speaker 2: lead to a crash out. And some people are saying, past, Mike,
[9:14] Speaker 2: tell me what a crash out is. I'm gonna put
[9:16] Speaker 2: this big definition back on the screen again, and I
[9:18] Speaker 2: want you to listen to it, and I want you
[9:20] Speaker 2: to think about watch this. Does this apply to me
[9:23] Speaker 2: in any way? How have I crashed out recently? Am
[9:27] Speaker 2: I in the middle of a crash out? Or am
[9:29] Speaker 2: I planning my next crash out right now? A crash
[9:33] Speaker 2: out is when a person can be suddenly uncontrollably angry
[9:39] Speaker 2: and act impulsively. How many people have ever bought something impulsively?
[9:45] Speaker 2: Instagram and TikTok make it so easy, and then you
[9:49] Speaker 2: get the little shop thing and it's already got all
[9:51] Speaker 2: your information in it. Why do I have four of
[9:55] Speaker 2: these little bears that hold my cell phone? Why did I?
[10:01] Speaker 2: It's just so fast. You ordered the shirt, don't even
[10:03] Speaker 2: know if it's right sizes, and you got a shirt
[10:06] Speaker 2: it's two eggs, but it's Chinese size, and so it's
[10:09] Speaker 2: y'all okay, some of y'all know what I'm talking about, Like, yeah,
[10:13] Speaker 2: two eggs and I'm a dis bed made for MJ impulsive?
[10:20] Speaker 2: How many people have decided to do things impulsively? A
[10:23] Speaker 2: crash out is something that happens Watch this almost without
[10:27] Speaker 2: a thought it said, It potentially leads to negative consequences.
[10:35] Speaker 2: This many times shows up as emotional or physical shutdown,
[10:40] Speaker 2: usually from burnout, over stimulation, or being overwhelmed. The act
[10:45] Speaker 2: of surrendering all reasonable control of your emotions and response
[10:51] Speaker 2: in order to react to watch this how you are
[10:54] Speaker 2: currently feeling. How many people can honestly say that sometimes
[10:59] Speaker 2: their feelings lie to them.
[11:02] Speaker 3: I would dare say all the time.
[11:06] Speaker 2: Your feelings are a current indicator of the moment. They
[11:12] Speaker 2: are not a dictator of how you move. And so
[11:16] Speaker 2: right now, the crash out that you're in is because
[11:19] Speaker 2: I felt a certain way. It could be a strong
[11:22] Speaker 2: indicator that these people who are crashing out are struggling
[11:27] Speaker 2: with their mental health and need support. This whole series
[11:34] Speaker 2: is to support you. Your pastor is trying to come
[11:37] Speaker 2: and support you as people have been furloughed and the
[11:41] Speaker 2: government is shut down, as people are trying to figure
[11:44] Speaker 2: out their family drama. As people, I'm trying to help
[11:49] Speaker 2: you right now. This is spiritual support. I want your
[11:54] Speaker 2: mental health to be able to be in good shape
[11:57] Speaker 2: because of spiritual help. This is what we have in Jesus.
[12:03] Speaker 2: But most of us are going to things that didn't
[12:06] Speaker 2: create you to figure out how to help you in
[12:08] Speaker 2: a situation that you don't know how to get out of.
[12:11] Speaker 2: And so today I'm gonna teach you about something that
[12:17] Speaker 2: God likes to do. In the crash out. Now, this
[12:20] Speaker 2: is gonna be a curve ball for most of you.
[12:23] Speaker 2: But what I found out is then when a situation
[12:26] Speaker 2: that when a situation is going bad, wrong, unexpected, God
[12:32] Speaker 2: is not waiting for us to figure out why the
[12:35] Speaker 2: situation happened to us. God many times in the middle
[12:39] Speaker 2: of the crash out corrects you, and most of us
[12:49] Speaker 2: are missing the correction in the middle of the crash out.
[12:56] Speaker 2: Pastor Mike, why are you talking about this because this
[12:59] Speaker 2: is going to repeat if you do not learn the lesson.
[13:04] Speaker 2: I have a prophetic word for you. This is going
[13:08] Speaker 2: to repeat if you do not learn the lesson. Pastor Mike,
[13:14] Speaker 2: can you give me a word. I'm so glad that
[13:17] Speaker 2: you need a word from God. This thing you're dealing
[13:21] Speaker 2: with is going to do what repeat if you do
[13:26] Speaker 2: not learn the lesson. This doesn't seem fair that in
[13:31] Speaker 2: the middle of a situation that is going on that
[13:34] Speaker 2: I cannot understand why it's happening. Why my job is
[13:38] Speaker 2: going like this, Why my relationship is falling apart like this,
[13:42] Speaker 2: Why my kids won't listen, why all of this is happening.
[13:45] Speaker 2: Why in the world would God try to correct me?
[13:51] Speaker 2: Why are you trying to do this ain't fair already, God,
[13:55] Speaker 2: Why are you trying to give me a lesson while
[13:58] Speaker 2: it feels like my life is falling apart. God, I
[14:01] Speaker 2: already don't have enough money. Now you want me to
[14:03] Speaker 2: start a budget. Ah y'all, I'm in the middle of
[14:09] Speaker 2: losing everything, and you want me to write the vision
[14:13] Speaker 2: and make it plain. You want me to put out
[14:17] Speaker 2: this one hundred and twenty two dollars in columns. We
[14:22] Speaker 2: got three columns, Like, God, why are you trying to
[14:27] Speaker 2: correct how? I talk to them? And they started it,
[14:34] Speaker 2: they approached me. This is just not if they would
[14:38] Speaker 2: have stayed over there, if they would have never came
[14:41] Speaker 2: over here.
[14:43] Speaker 3: Don't start no stuff.
[14:49] Speaker 2: Why are you talking about? Why are you talking to
[14:51] Speaker 2: me about forgiveness? God? They actually were the ones who
[14:58] Speaker 2: are disrespectful to me. I'm trying to decide if I'm
[15:02] Speaker 2: gonna stay at this job, and you're telling me them apollot,
[15:10] Speaker 2: You're telling me to apologize. Why are you trying to
[15:14] Speaker 2: correct me in the middle of this crashout?
[15:20] Speaker 3: Why are you hold on my wife did that.
[15:27] Speaker 2: I didn't do that. My wife did that, And you
[15:32] Speaker 2: want me to take responsibility and step up and lead
[15:37] Speaker 2: our home out of the situation that she Why are
[15:43] Speaker 2: you trying to correct I'm trying to talk about real
[15:49] Speaker 2: situations right now that pastor fumbled me and my gift
[15:58] Speaker 2: and what I brought to the table, and you're telling
[16:03] Speaker 2: me don't stop leading that team and don't spread the
[16:08] Speaker 2: gossip of my feelings in this moment to them and
[16:12] Speaker 2: infect them. Why are you correcting me in the middle
[16:18] Speaker 2: of this moment where I feel justified to have a
[16:25] Speaker 2: response that lines up with the situation that happened to me.
[16:36] Speaker 2: And I've just found out that God is so good
[16:41] Speaker 2: watch this that he doesn't waste anything either we believe
[16:46] Speaker 2: Romans a twenty eight, or we don't. All things work
[16:50] Speaker 2: together for the good. So in a bad situation, God's like,
[16:56] Speaker 2: I'm not wasting this, y'all think about to waste this. Yes,
[17:02] Speaker 2: they started talking about you. Now, I'm gonna use this
[17:04] Speaker 2: to make you more like me. And the problem right
[17:09] Speaker 2: now and why some of y'all look at me right
[17:11] Speaker 2: now like you want to fight me, is because your
[17:15] Speaker 2: transformation will not happen outside of you. You are waiting
[17:20] Speaker 2: for God to change the job, change the husband, change
[17:23] Speaker 2: the friend, change the situation, and God saying I ain't
[17:26] Speaker 2: doing that. I'm starting with you. And the reason why
[17:30] Speaker 2: people become unwavered in their ability to continue to trust
[17:36] Speaker 2: God and they begin to be shaky is because they
[17:38] Speaker 2: want God to do it another way. But what I
[17:40] Speaker 2: found out is that when you come to God, he
[17:42] Speaker 2: never starts with them.
[17:43] Speaker 3: He always starts with you.
[17:46] Speaker 2: And I came to tell you for real that in
[17:49] Speaker 2: the middle of the situation that you could crash out
[17:52] Speaker 2: in and feel justified and get applause from your friends,
[17:56] Speaker 2: God said, did you catch the correction? Most people are
[18:05] Speaker 2: missing it. You're missing the whole point of why God
[18:09] Speaker 2: allowed that situation to happen. You. God allowed you to
[18:15] Speaker 2: be able to get kicked out of that school, and
[18:19] Speaker 2: you so disappointed and embarrassed. You ain't even told nobody.
[18:22] Speaker 2: It's been six years and you acting like you got
[18:25] Speaker 2: your degree and it ain't no degree. You won't even
[18:29] Speaker 2: talk about it, you won't even share your testimony because
[18:33] Speaker 2: in the middle of the crashout you did not catch
[18:37] Speaker 2: the correction. The problem is you weren't even supposed to
[18:40] Speaker 2: go to that school anyway. You followed somebody there that
[18:44] Speaker 2: was not God, and so He let that fall through
[18:49] Speaker 2: to teach you something and you ain't even you haven't
[18:51] Speaker 2: even stepped back to examine it. Could I have missed something?
[18:56] Speaker 2: It's God gonna use this. Okay, Today I got a
[18:59] Speaker 2: sh show you two people who were in the middle
[19:02] Speaker 2: of a situation that was a crash out situation, and
[19:05] Speaker 2: how God tried to use the situation and in the
[19:10] Speaker 2: middle of it he tried to correct them. And there
[19:12] Speaker 2: were two different responses to the correction, and how one
[19:17] Speaker 2: of them ended up differently than the other because of
[19:20] Speaker 2: watch how they caught the correction. Simon Peter, y'all remember him,
[19:28] Speaker 2: the one who walked on water, the one who was
[19:31] Speaker 2: so told like what man, man, that revelation that didn't
[19:35] Speaker 2: come from you. I'm gonna build my church on you.
[19:37] Speaker 2: Like Simon Peter. Let me tell you about him. Simon
[19:40] Speaker 2: Peter was a crash out. He had a whole bunch
[19:44] Speaker 2: of situations happened in his walk that was like, man,
[19:47] Speaker 2: we gotta get this dude under control. He is impulsively
[19:52] Speaker 2: moving by his emotions. One of the greatest examples of
[19:55] Speaker 2: this is found in Matthew twenty six, verse fifty, when
[19:57] Speaker 2: Jesus had just finished praying in the garden of simony,
[20:00] Speaker 2: and now Judas had sold Jesus out, and they're coming
[20:04] Speaker 2: now to pick Jesus up so that they can take
[20:07] Speaker 2: him to the cross. Matthew, Chapter twenty six, verse fifty.
[20:09] Speaker 2: This is where we pick up. Jesus replied to the people,
[20:12] Speaker 2: do what you came to do.
[20:13] Speaker 3: Do what you got to do, my friend.
[20:14] Speaker 2: He's talking to the people who are coming to take
[20:16] Speaker 2: him out, and Jesus replied, do your thing. Man. Then
[20:21] Speaker 2: a man stepped forward to seize Jesus and arrest him.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Once that happened, one of Jesus's companions, Pee Doll, reached
[20:33] Speaker 2: for his sword, drew it out, shank shank, and he
[20:40] Speaker 2: struck the servant of the most high, cutting off his ear.
[20:47] Speaker 3: I just want you to paint the picture right now.
[20:49] Speaker 2: I don't know who your friends are, but there are
[20:51] Speaker 2: some people that roll with me that if we all
[20:54] Speaker 2: walk in together and your step to me is wrong.
[21:02] Speaker 2: I don't know what they carrying, but but but but
[21:06] Speaker 2: sometimes the reaction comes out faster than the thought. Peter
[21:14] Speaker 2: has just watched Jesus, I need you to get this sweat,
[21:18] Speaker 2: blood cry out in agony. And now people are coming
[21:25] Speaker 2: to take him away, not my dog, not my man's
[21:30] Speaker 2: jac I roll with this man? Who are you?
[21:35] Speaker 3: And at the moment Peter.
[21:38] Speaker 2: Pulls out his knife and cuts off his hit. Now
[21:43] Speaker 2: watch who goes to a fight to cut off an ear? Okay,
[21:52] Speaker 2: if I'm pulling out my knife, it's like, what am
[21:54] Speaker 2: I to do? Uh? Stab him? Uh? Cut off a finger? No,
[21:58] Speaker 2: let's go for his ear. I think that he was
[22:02] Speaker 2: trying to kill the dude. It just so happened that
[22:08] Speaker 2: he only Peter is about to make a decision that
[22:16] Speaker 2: would alter everything, the plan that was set up so
[22:23] Speaker 2: Jesus could actually go to the cross. It looked unfavorable,
[22:26] Speaker 2: but it says in the Bible that it had to
[22:29] Speaker 2: happen like this. So at the moment that Peter cuts
[22:35] Speaker 2: off my man Malcous's ear, that's his real name, y'all
[22:39] Speaker 2: thought I made that up? Y'all gotta read your Bible.
[22:41] Speaker 2: Malchus he cuts off his ear. Watched the correction in
[22:46] Speaker 2: verse fifty two. He doesn't first speak to the man
[22:49] Speaker 2: with the ear on the ground. He speaks to Simon, Peter,
[22:54] Speaker 2: put your sword back in its place, He corrects them
[22:59] Speaker 2: in the middle of him emotional crash out which he's
[23:02] Speaker 2: kind of justified. For if somebody came against the people
[23:06] Speaker 2: you love, some of y'all be like, you could do whatever.
[23:09] Speaker 3: You can, call me whatever.
[23:10] Speaker 2: But if you say anything about my baby, y'all know
[23:13] Speaker 2: how y'all if you say anything about Okay, same type
[23:17] Speaker 2: of energy, Why wouldn't God correct to God coming to
[23:24] Speaker 2: take him? Why wouldn't God correct all of the situation
[23:32] Speaker 2: that's happening. He goes for Simon Peter and he.
[23:36] Speaker 3: Literally says, put it back.
[23:38] Speaker 2: Jesus said to him, for all who draw the sword
[23:41] Speaker 2: will die by the sword. Do you not think that
[23:45] Speaker 2: I'm cold enough to handle this myself? Do you not
[23:49] Speaker 2: think I can call on my father and he will
[23:52] Speaker 2: at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions
[23:55] Speaker 2: of angels. With the legion it's usually six thousand, so
[23:58] Speaker 2: seventy two thousand angels will pull up.
[24:00] Speaker 3: You don't think if I wanted to change this situation,
[24:02] Speaker 3: I couldn't.
[24:05] Speaker 2: But the only reason I'm not because if I did,
[24:08] Speaker 2: how then would the scripture be fulfilled that says it
[24:14] Speaker 2: must happen this way? How many situations have happened that
[24:22] Speaker 2: you were trying to figure out an alternate reality or
[24:26] Speaker 2: way that it could do, and God's saying it must
[24:30] Speaker 2: happen this way. So at this moment, Jesus picks up
[24:35] Speaker 2: my man's ear pops it back on, and the only
[24:42] Speaker 2: person that was corrected was Peter. You gonna correct me
[24:51] Speaker 2: in the middle of this crash out.
[24:54] Speaker 3: Let's look at another.
[24:55] Speaker 2: Guy turn into the Old Testament. This goy's name is Saul,
[25:01] Speaker 2: and Saul has a crashout, and first Samuel thirteen, Today,
[25:04] Speaker 2: I just want to help you because God's going to
[25:06] Speaker 2: correct you in some things and most of us don't
[25:08] Speaker 2: know how to handle it. First Samuel, verse thirteen, Chapter thirteen,
[25:14] Speaker 2: verse eight, it says, let me just set a little context.
[25:17] Speaker 2: They're at war. Saul is leading the army. Is supposed
[25:22] Speaker 2: to actually wait for Samuel the prophet to come because
[25:26] Speaker 2: they were going to make a sacrifice and God was
[25:28] Speaker 2: going to bless their victory that they were going to have.
[25:32] Speaker 2: But Saul started getting impatient, and we're going to see
[25:34] Speaker 2: this right here, It says. Then Saul waited for seven
[25:37] Speaker 2: days according to the time set by Samuel, but Samuel
[25:40] Speaker 2: did not come to Gilgal and the people were scattered
[25:43] Speaker 2: from him. So Saul said, you know what, forget this.
[25:47] Speaker 2: The pressure is too much. Bring me to burnt offering
[25:50] Speaker 2: right now. I ain't waiting for nobody and the peace offer.
[25:52] Speaker 2: Bring it to me right now. And he offered the
[25:55] Speaker 2: burnt offering. Now it happened. As soon as he had
[25:58] Speaker 2: finished presenting the burnt offering, then Samuel came and Saul
[26:04] Speaker 2: went out to meet him that he might greet him.
[26:06] Speaker 2: And Samuel said, what have you done? Said Saul, well, okay,
[26:12] Speaker 2: I know, okay, when I saw the people that were
[26:15] Speaker 2: scattering from me, and that you did not come when
[26:17] Speaker 2: you had said that you was gonna be here at
[26:20] Speaker 2: the appointed time, I know you here now, but you
[26:22] Speaker 2: I mean thirteen minutes ago would have been really good,
[26:25] Speaker 2: and that the Philistines gathered to come to mick Mass
[26:29] Speaker 2: to Big Bass. Then I said, the Philistines will now
[26:32] Speaker 2: come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not
[26:34] Speaker 2: made a supplication to the Lord. So who am I
[26:37] Speaker 2: not to make a supplication to the Lord.
[26:38] Speaker 3: So I thought, since you wasn't here.
[26:39] Speaker 2: I should make the supplication. Therefore I felt compelled. That's
[26:42] Speaker 2: a good churchy word, huh. I felt compelled and offered
[26:45] Speaker 2: the burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, you have
[26:50] Speaker 2: done something so foolish. You have done foolishly. You have
[26:55] Speaker 2: not kept the commandment of the Lord, your God, which
[26:57] Speaker 2: he commanded you for now. The Lord would have established
[27:03] Speaker 2: your kingdom over Israel forever. But now, since you made
[27:10] Speaker 2: that rass decision, because you were triggered by everything you saw,
[27:16] Speaker 2: your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for
[27:20] Speaker 2: himself a man after his own heart, and the Lord
[27:23] Speaker 2: has commanded him to be commander over his people. Because
[27:27] Speaker 2: you have not kept what the Lord commanded you. The
[27:33] Speaker 2: crazy thing is, I get it. Sauls under pressure people
[27:40] Speaker 2: coming from the left to right.
[27:42] Speaker 3: All his people who.
[27:43] Speaker 2: Is down start scattering. And if you telling me this
[27:47] Speaker 2: is the way we gonna get victory.
[27:49] Speaker 3: And I don't see the prophet.
[27:50] Speaker 2: Nowhere, nobody's is where he at? He ain't there. I'm
[27:54] Speaker 2: gonna just do it myself. Has anybody taken matters and
[27:59] Speaker 2: to your own hands? Before you know, God told you
[28:03] Speaker 2: to wait. Okay, you know God told you don't move
[28:07] Speaker 2: into that apartment. You know God told you not to
[28:10] Speaker 2: date them. You know God told you not to open
[28:13] Speaker 2: the business. Yet, you know God told you wait. But
[28:19] Speaker 2: the situation started speaking to you louder than God, and
[28:26] Speaker 2: so you decided to take matters into your own hands.
[28:33] Speaker 2: He canceled out a legacy that was supposed to still
[28:40] Speaker 2: be experienced to this day because he could not.
[28:44] Speaker 3: Wait in a state where he was triggered.
[28:52] Speaker 2: Samuel comes to correct him, and I just came to
[28:57] Speaker 2: tell everybody whose potential in a situation that seems like
[29:02] Speaker 2: you're justified to make a critical decision while the situation
[29:08] Speaker 2: feels confusing, write this down. Be careful making quick decisions
[29:14] Speaker 2: in the middle of crisis. This is not the season
[29:20] Speaker 2: where you do knee jerk reactions without going to the father.
[29:25] Speaker 2: This is not the season where, oh it makes sense
[29:27] Speaker 2: on paper. The Bible says in Proverbs three five, acknowledge
[29:31] Speaker 2: God in all your ways, and He will direct your path.
[29:36] Speaker 2: Some of you are the director of a movie that
[29:39] Speaker 2: you did not fund. God is supplying everything for this movie,
[29:45] Speaker 2: and you're telling.
[29:46] Speaker 3: Him no, no, no no, but I don't need to do
[29:47] Speaker 3: it your way. This is how I see the movie ending.
[29:50] Speaker 2: And he said, you have no clue what I'm trying
[29:52] Speaker 2: to do in this thing. You will not let me
[29:55] Speaker 2: direct this thing, and you will not let me guide
[29:59] Speaker 2: you into all truth. And I'm telling you this because
[30:02] Speaker 2: when you're in confusion, you're not seeing clearly. Saul was
[30:07] Speaker 2: confused and he was not seeing clearly. And what God
[30:11] Speaker 2: sends when you're confused is a word before the confusion.
[30:16] Speaker 2: The question is will you remember and listen to the
[30:19] Speaker 2: world when the confusion comes. That's why the word of
[30:22] Speaker 2: the Year at Transformation Church this year is what. So
[30:25] Speaker 2: he's saying, you have to kill the distractions because you're
[30:29] Speaker 2: confused in a season where you should be sure. He's
[30:34] Speaker 2: already told you what he wanted to do. He told
[30:36] Speaker 2: you to stay faithful, he told you to keep giving,
[30:39] Speaker 2: he told you to keep serving, He told you to
[30:41] Speaker 2: stay submitted in that house, and then you got offended. Now,
[30:47] Speaker 2: since you got offended, confusion setsin. Why am I supposed
[30:51] Speaker 2: to listen to somebody who's just gonna say something crazy
[30:53] Speaker 2: to me like that? Am I supposed to stay in
[30:56] Speaker 2: a house where I don't feel like I'm getting fed?
[30:58] Speaker 2: Am I supposed to do this? With all this other stuff?
[31:00] Speaker 2: And God saying, hold on to the word I already
[31:04] Speaker 2: gave you. And Saul doesn't hold on to the word,
[31:11] Speaker 2: so he goes ahead and doesn't heed the correction. Like
[31:17] Speaker 2: many of us, and this is what this is what
[31:22] Speaker 2: it kind of painted a picture in my mind. How
[31:25] Speaker 2: many people like football? Like just just hands? How many?
[31:28] Speaker 2: How many people don't understand football at all? Like just okay,
[31:31] Speaker 2: we love you too, Okay. One thing that most people
[31:36] Speaker 2: understand is that there's a quarterback and there's these little
[31:41] Speaker 2: guys on the end called receivers. And the quarterback's job
[31:47] Speaker 2: is to to throw the ball to the receivers. And
[31:50] Speaker 2: what's the receiver's job class.
[31:54] Speaker 3: Catch the ball?
[31:55] Speaker 2: Mo? Could you be my quarterback for a second? And
[31:58] Speaker 2: and and and Mo, yeah, you're just come come stand
[32:00] Speaker 2: up here for me. You've never seen a hispanic five
[32:03] Speaker 2: to two quarterback, but we have one today. We have
[32:08] Speaker 2: one today. What would end up happening in a in
[32:12] Speaker 2: a football game is the quarterback would be here and
[32:15] Speaker 2: the receiver they would say hut, and I would run
[32:19] Speaker 2: as a receiver and he would throw me the ball. Now,
[32:30] Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw what happened.
[32:34] Speaker 3: I don't somebody saw it.
[32:36] Speaker 2: Hut.
[32:43] Speaker 3: What what do you what did you say?
[32:45] Speaker 2: Oh?
[32:46] Speaker 3: No, no, no, y'all.
[32:46] Speaker 2: No, I'm I'm a great receiver. I'm a great receiver.
[32:51] Speaker 2: I'm a I'm a great Christian, I receive what the
[32:53] Speaker 2: word says. Are you seeing what's happening right now? I'm
[33:01] Speaker 2: in a position. God give me clarity. Some of y'all
[33:08] Speaker 2: still ain't got it. This is what we do every
[33:11] Speaker 2: Sunday we come. Oh Gloria, God, use me give me
[33:15] Speaker 2: a prophetic word. I'm not doing what. I'm not receiving
[33:23] Speaker 2: the correction that he's throwing my way. When God is
[33:30] Speaker 2: passing you correction. You don't even got your hands up.
[33:38] Speaker 2: How long would I be in the game if every
[33:43] Speaker 2: time God calls a play for me, y'all looking at me.
[33:51] Speaker 2: Get him out the game. Take him out. Get him
[33:56] Speaker 2: out here, little boy twelve years old, them out because
[34:04] Speaker 2: it doesn't make sense to keep running the same play.
[34:11] Speaker 2: It doesn't make sense to keep running the same play.
[34:15] Speaker 2: And you're never in a position to receive doing all
[34:28] Speaker 2: that zigzag and all that praying, all those all night prayers,
[34:32] Speaker 2: all of those supplication, prophesying to yourself, got everything written
[34:36] Speaker 2: down and God saying and every time, if you cannot
[34:46] Speaker 2: receive correction, you are a liability to the Kingdom of God.
[34:56] Speaker 2: I cannot have you on my team if the can't
[35:00] Speaker 2: tell you you said that with the wrong spirit. You
[35:04] Speaker 2: sent that in anger. That was a sarcastic response to
[35:12] Speaker 2: a real issue. And your boss, nor your leader, your husband,
[35:19] Speaker 2: nobody can correct you. Hey man, God keep using me.
[35:31] Speaker 2: Keep I mean, I feel a fresh fire. I'm giving you.
[35:36] Speaker 2: You're giving me direction, and I'm not listening this time.
[35:39] Speaker 2: I'm gonna listen now. I went to conference and oh
[35:42] Speaker 2: my God, faith in the fire shut up in my bones.
[35:46] Speaker 2: I got it. So when you, when you, when you,
[35:49] Speaker 2: when you, when you tell me to do it again,
[35:52] Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna listen. You want me to go
[35:58] Speaker 2: five and then in okay, cool, I was supposed to.
[36:10] Speaker 2: I was supposed to go the other way, that was
[36:13] Speaker 2: five and out, But I like it out here. But
[36:18] Speaker 2: this is where people see me at This is where
[36:22] Speaker 2: I get recognized. You wanted me to go five and
[36:24] Speaker 2: into my prayer closet, but I wanted to go five
[36:27] Speaker 2: and outside for people to see me. I wanted to
[36:30] Speaker 2: be And how many times have we not caught the correction? See?
[36:44] Speaker 2: Because anytime you actually catch the correction in correction, God's
[36:49] Speaker 2: trying to do something to shape our character. So when
[36:55] Speaker 2: he's correcting us, he's shaping our character. When we catch correction.
[37:00] Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell you why you should catch it.
[37:02] Speaker 2: Then God is trying to do something for our confidence. See.
[37:06] Speaker 2: The more I get character like Christ, the more confident
[37:10] Speaker 2: I am that hold on when he calls me to
[37:11] Speaker 2: a war, even if I have opposition. We've run this
[37:14] Speaker 2: play before. It don't matter who's standing in front of me.
[37:17] Speaker 2: They don't know the play. They don't know what God's
[37:19] Speaker 2: called me to do. So I'm confident that God will
[37:21] Speaker 2: see me through this. See when I catch correction, it
[37:27] Speaker 2: makes me Christ like. I've become more like the one
[37:32] Speaker 2: throwing me the ball. We have the same mind. Let
[37:35] Speaker 2: this mind be in you, which is also in Christ, Jesus.
[37:39] Speaker 2: When a quarterback and a receiver get on the same plane,
[37:42] Speaker 2: I don't even have to understand what he's up against.
[37:45] Speaker 2: If he just goes like this, I already know because
[37:48] Speaker 2: we have the same And the only reason that there
[37:54] Speaker 2: is a correction is because you have a calling. And
[38:00] Speaker 2: how many believers every Sunday, every Monday, every Wednesday.
[38:08] Speaker 3: God use me, God, use me, God, use me.
[38:11] Speaker 2: Man. Why won't you throw the ball better? God? Why
[38:16] Speaker 2: wouldn't you put me in a better situation? God? Why
[38:19] Speaker 2: was I born into this family. God, why wouldn't you
[38:21] Speaker 2: put me in Dallas or Atlanta or La Why would
[38:24] Speaker 2: you put me here? And because I can't catch calling,
[38:34] Speaker 2: because I can't catch correction, I start complaining to the
[38:39] Speaker 2: one who threw the ball.
[38:42] Speaker 3: God, if you would do it like I told you to.
[38:47] Speaker 2: God, if you would give me my wife, I wouldn't
[38:48] Speaker 2: be out here sleeping with everybody. If you would give
[38:57] Speaker 2: me a job where I could actually provide, I would
[38:59] Speaker 2: stop pushing that word, I would stop lying, I would
[39:03] Speaker 2: stop stealing food stamps.
[39:04] Speaker 3: If you would actually provide for me.
[39:10] Speaker 2: Amen. And some people have the nerve to be upset
[39:16] Speaker 2: with God because the entire time he's been letting you
[39:20] Speaker 2: stay in the game by your own credentials, you should
[39:26] Speaker 2: be out because you judge the other receivers when they
[39:31] Speaker 2: don't catch the ball like you would. He said, I'm
[39:35] Speaker 2: letting you stay in the game, and you steal. You
[39:41] Speaker 2: still won't hear the correction. And this is what happens
[39:46] Speaker 2: to all believers. And I'm telling you today point one
[39:50] Speaker 2: of this, were almost done. Catch the correction. You have
[39:55] Speaker 2: to be a receiver of correction. God's gonna correct you
[39:59] Speaker 2: in the middle of a crash out. It's gonna be
[40:01] Speaker 2: when you are already stressed about money, that God's gonna
[40:06] Speaker 2: say you need to start tithing. Y'all saw how there
[40:10] Speaker 2: was no Amen's right there because He's going to use
[40:15] Speaker 2: the moment of a crash out. He said, I can't
[40:17] Speaker 2: rebuke the devourer. I already told you in my word.
[40:21] Speaker 2: The people who honor me with their wealth, that's who
[40:23] Speaker 2: I protect their finances. You want me to change and
[40:26] Speaker 2: let you hit the lottery and do all this other stuff.
[40:29] Speaker 2: But right now, why you still need a miracle. I'm
[40:32] Speaker 2: gonna correct you. Your money will never be right. It
[40:36] Speaker 2: doesn't matter how many zeros you put in the account.
[40:38] Speaker 2: You have too much wisdom to keep disobeying me. Well, God,
[40:45] Speaker 2: I'll make it up at the end of the year.
[40:48] Speaker 2: And he said that means you don't trust me daily.
[40:53] Speaker 2: So you need your money to be able to make
[40:55] Speaker 2: rent now And God saying with that twenty.
[40:57] Speaker 4: Five dollars cents belongs to me, He's gonna correct you
[41:08] Speaker 4: in the middle of the crush now.
[41:10] Speaker 2: And right now, some of y'all are in this exact situation,
[41:12] Speaker 2: and God's saying, hut, and you like, ah, that must
[41:19] Speaker 2: be for somebody else. He can't be talking about me.
[41:27] Speaker 2: Catch the correction. You've been married to that man for
[41:31] Speaker 2: years and all you do is tear him down every
[41:34] Speaker 2: time he messes up. But the Bible tells us that
[41:38] Speaker 2: the faith of a woman can change a household. Right, Well,
[41:43] Speaker 2: I'm just telling it how it is.
[41:44] Speaker 3: I'm just telling you how it is.
[41:46] Speaker 2: And God said, yeah, he messed up again. Speak life over,
[41:52] Speaker 2: tell him who you see. So seeds of encouragement, No
[42:00] Speaker 2: corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, only that which
[42:04] Speaker 2: is edifying to the hearer. If you gotta walk around
[42:08] Speaker 2: me and God saying I know he messed up. I
[42:20] Speaker 2: know he did it. But I'm about to run another
[42:22] Speaker 2: play for you, and I'm gonna correct you in the
[42:25] Speaker 2: middle of this.
[42:26] Speaker 3: And we're standing out here.
[42:27] Speaker 2: Oh Lord, I can't stand your rome. It's been twenty years.
[42:35] Speaker 2: He ain't gonna change, neither are you. Would you catch.
[42:43] Speaker 3: The correction.
[42:49] Speaker 2: Proverbs three twelve. This is why you got to catch
[42:53] Speaker 2: the correction, and you have to have the right perception
[42:54] Speaker 2: on it. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just
[43:05] Speaker 2: as a father corrects the child in whom he delights.
[43:09] Speaker 2: The Lord says, I love you too much to have
[43:12] Speaker 2: you keep running the wrong route, So I need you
[43:17] Speaker 2: to catch this correction. When I was on the football team,
[43:21] Speaker 2: I could tell the people who was gonna play in
[43:23] Speaker 2: the game during on the weekend and who wasn't by
[43:26] Speaker 2: who the coach corrected. There were certain people on the
[43:31] Speaker 2: team that when they messed up, the coach didn't say nothing.
[43:34] Speaker 2: The reason he didn't say nothing to them because they
[43:37] Speaker 2: wasn't gonna play. Do you understand what I'm saying? But
[43:42] Speaker 2: it would be like the coach's son and the star
[43:44] Speaker 2: players like, hey, listen to me. When you do this,
[43:47] Speaker 2: go that way. You don't see the defense, And oh,
[43:50] Speaker 2: Bobo over here and he's like playing with flowers, drawing
[43:56] Speaker 2: stuff in the grass. Coach don't even care because the
[44:03] Speaker 2: investment of correction is proof of a future. The reason
[44:10] Speaker 2: God create corrects us is because he sees how he
[44:15] Speaker 2: wants to use us in the future. Stop sleeping with them,
[44:21] Speaker 2: Stop because I see in the future you are having
[44:26] Speaker 2: to explain that soul tie to the person I've created
[44:31] Speaker 2: you for. And you don't know why you're being pulled
[44:34] Speaker 2: at to stop because I see your future. Stop giving
[44:41] Speaker 2: that money to that family member who's just abusing it.
[44:47] Speaker 2: Stop because you're enabling them to continue in the destruction.
[44:53] Speaker 2: Your love should say no, okay, let me stop. But
[44:58] Speaker 2: that's my baby and he's manipulating you. You have funded
[45:03] Speaker 2: his foolishness in the name of love. Stop in the
[45:10] Speaker 2: name of love. Who said that? Wasn't that a uh
[45:14] Speaker 2: Diana Ross? Stop in name okay and let me help you,
[45:25] Speaker 2: because some of y'all are like, yeah, if God corrects me,
[45:27] Speaker 2: If God corrects me, I will catch his correction. God.
[45:31] Speaker 3: I'll just promise you right.
[45:32] Speaker 2: Now, whenever you throw correction my way, I'm catching it.
[45:38] Speaker 2: He's gonna use a person, an actual human, to provide
[45:45] Speaker 2: the correction. Can can you catch the correction if it
[45:49] Speaker 2: comes to a different vessel. God sent Samuel to correct Saul,
[45:59] Speaker 2: and he couldn't catch the correction. Tell you a true story,
[46:05] Speaker 2: Pastor Will the one that was up here doing all
[46:08] Speaker 2: of our announcements and leading us, our associate campus pastor,
[46:13] Speaker 2: it was about four years ago that we were at
[46:17] Speaker 2: Incredible Pizza and we were there for I think Ava's
[46:21] Speaker 2: birthday or MJ's birthday. We're there for MJ's birthday, and
[46:25] Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit told me that will had a huge
[46:29] Speaker 2: future in our church, but there was one thing holding
[46:33] Speaker 2: him back, and it was his fork. Will was three
[46:41] Speaker 2: hundred and fifty one pounds and was killing himself with
[46:50] Speaker 2: fast food in a fork. And so because I saw
[46:54] Speaker 2: his future, I saw what was in him. I saw
[46:58] Speaker 2: his loyalty and his ability to connect with people in
[47:01] Speaker 2: his study in the world. I saw him, and God said,
[47:04] Speaker 2: You're gonna have to be his pastor right now and
[47:08] Speaker 2: go correct him. This was a defining moment for our
[47:12] Speaker 2: relationship because I didn't know how he was gonna take this.
[47:18] Speaker 2: And right there in the hall of Incredible Pizza, I told, well,
[47:21] Speaker 2: hey man, you gotta lose weight. And right now some
[47:27] Speaker 2: of y'all are offended. And I didn't even say it
[47:29] Speaker 2: to you. You can feel the tension in the room
[47:34] Speaker 2: right now, because what does my spiritual life have to
[47:38] Speaker 2: do with my weights? You get one temple of the
[47:42] Speaker 2: Holy Spirit. And this was just something that I knew
[47:47] Speaker 2: was specific to him. I didn't give a prophetic word
[47:50] Speaker 2: to everybody. I wanted to talk to somebody who said
[47:52] Speaker 2: they were submitted to my leadership, and I corrected him,
[47:58] Speaker 2: and I said, Will, I said, I'm gonna help you
[48:01] Speaker 2: get started, and I said, I got kids, don't waste
[48:04] Speaker 2: my money. Said I'm gonna give you thirty days and
[48:09] Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay for it. And what you do after
[48:11] Speaker 2: that is on you. You know what Will did.
[48:18] Speaker 3: I corrected him. He caught it, and that boy ran.
[48:23] Speaker 2: Hold on. He took what I gave him in correction
[48:32] Speaker 2: and turned it into a testimony. How much what have
[48:34] Speaker 2: you lost? One hundred and forty one pounds? He about
[48:39] Speaker 2: to run in a high rocks and is about to
[48:42] Speaker 2: Kayley got a new husband. Most of you would have
[48:51] Speaker 2: left the church right now. You He knew it was
[48:59] Speaker 2: a problem before I corrected it. It's crazy that the
[49:04] Speaker 2: stuff we know, when somebody calls it out. Now I
[49:09] Speaker 2: have the.
[49:10] Speaker 3: Opportunity to be offended.
[49:14] Speaker 2: But when I corrected him, it's because I saw his calling.
[49:19] Speaker 2: When I corrected it is because I knew he wanted
[49:21] Speaker 2: to be like Christ. I needed him to have confidence,
[49:23] Speaker 2: and I wanted to help him build his character. And
[49:27] Speaker 2: what I'm telling you is, if Christ sends anybody to
[49:31] Speaker 2: correct you in the middle of a crash out, catch it.
[49:37] Speaker 3: All I came to say is it.
[49:39] Speaker 2: Will come at the most inopportune time. You're gonna be
[49:43] Speaker 2: in the middle of the thing, and God's gonna be like, hey,
[49:47] Speaker 2: put your hands up, because I'm about to throw you
[49:50] Speaker 2: some correction. Even why you have opposition, and the only
[49:56] Speaker 2: thing that allows you to really catch correction is when
[50:03] Speaker 2: you have these gloves right here on the back of them.
[50:07] Speaker 2: They got a word on him that the church is
[50:09] Speaker 2: not used to humility. If your hands and heart don't
[50:16] Speaker 2: have humility, you won't catch correction. That's why the Bible
[50:22] Speaker 2: tells us to actually be more humble than we are
[50:26] Speaker 2: anything else. Let me tell you, I can't you, Oh,
[50:29] Speaker 2: I can't grow hands of humility one Peter five to six.
[50:36] Speaker 2: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so
[50:44] Speaker 2: that at the proper time He may exalt you. The
[50:49] Speaker 2: reason why God's correcting you is because he loves you.
[50:52] Speaker 2: And if you put on humility, correction listen without love
[50:57] Speaker 2: creates rebellion, not repentance. The reason I need to tell
[51:02] Speaker 2: you God loves you is because he's correcting you. He's
[51:05] Speaker 2: telling you stop comparing yourself to them, your cut stop
[51:11] Speaker 2: following them. That's a smart correction. What God, why am
[51:15] Speaker 2: I from? I mean, they ain't doing nothing to me
[51:17] Speaker 2: because every time you see them, you compare yourself to them.
[51:21] Speaker 2: And what I'm trying to do is change in you
[51:24] Speaker 2: the ability to not see them and think something's wrong
[51:26] Speaker 2: with you. I want you to become content, and right
[51:31] Speaker 2: now you're comparing, so obey me and unfollow them. But God,
[51:37] Speaker 2: they give me creative juices. No, they give you comparison
[51:39] Speaker 2: and anxiety, and they give you a reason to not
[51:43] Speaker 2: do what I've called you to do, because four thousand
[51:47] Speaker 2: people like it when they do it, and four like
[51:49] Speaker 2: it when you do it. Stop and when he comes
[51:56] Speaker 2: to correct, because you've taken off humility and you're putting down,
[52:02] Speaker 2: put down your hands, and you're like, God, you know what,
[52:05] Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it my own way. Run the play.
[52:12] Speaker 2: You're almost proud now that you're doing it your own way.
[52:17] Speaker 2: All I'm telling you right now Jesus, yeah, Jesus, yes, Sus.
[52:36] Speaker 2: I love our church. Catch the correction, all right. Once
[52:45] Speaker 2: you catch the correction, comply with the command. If God
[52:50] Speaker 2: tells you to go five and in, just do it. Well,
[52:56] Speaker 2: I don't know why I gotta do it. You don't
[52:58] Speaker 2: have to know why you gotta do it. You do
[53:00] Speaker 2: not have to understand to obey it takes faith to
[53:03] Speaker 2: follow Christ's command. When you feel something contrary, Just do
[53:10] Speaker 2: what God tells you to do. Now, you don't go nowhere, heyeseus,
[53:14] Speaker 2: you stay right there. Okay, God, you want me to
[53:20] Speaker 2: forgive Yes, it doesn't make sense, doesn't matter. Comply, comply
[53:28] Speaker 2: with the command that God gave you. The reason why
[53:31] Speaker 2: Saul cancels out the legacy of his children's children's children
[53:36] Speaker 2: is because he would not watch. This is another word
[53:38] Speaker 2: for comply. He would not obey. And when you don't obey,
[53:43] Speaker 2: you're always forfeiting something that God wanted to do. And
[53:48] Speaker 2: that's when you start complaining and you stop complying.
[53:51] Speaker 3: And this is where I got to read.
[53:52] Speaker 2: You just a little more scripture first Samuel, chapter fifteen,
[53:56] Speaker 2: verse ten. This is where the title of this in
[53:58] Speaker 2: the Bible is the Lord rejects Saul. Then the Lord
[54:03] Speaker 2: said to Samuel, I am sorry that I ever made
[54:06] Speaker 2: Saul king, for he has not been loyal to me
[54:10] Speaker 2: and has refused to obey my command. Samuel was so
[54:15] Speaker 2: deeply moved when he heard this that he cried out
[54:17] Speaker 2: to the Lord all night dropped down the verse twenty.
[54:22] Speaker 2: He's confronting Saul now and this is Saul's excuse. But
[54:27] Speaker 2: I did obey the Lord. Saul insisted, I carried out
[54:31] Speaker 2: the mission he gave. I brought back king a gag
[54:33] Speaker 2: when I destroyed everyone else. Then my troops brought the
[54:36] Speaker 2: best sheep and goats and cattle and plunder to sacrifice
[54:39] Speaker 2: to the Lord, your God at Gilgal. But Samuel replied,
[54:41] Speaker 2: listen to this. What is more pleasing to the Lord?
[54:45] Speaker 2: Your burnt offerings and sacrifice or your obedience to his voice?
[54:52] Speaker 2: Does God like you putting a spectacle on that I
[54:56] Speaker 2: obeyed God or actually obeying him? Listen, Obedience is better
[55:05] Speaker 2: than any sacrifice you can make, and submission is better
[55:09] Speaker 2: than any offering of a fat realm. Rebellion watch this.
[55:13] Speaker 2: This is strong Bible, y'all. Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft.
[55:22] Speaker 2: Some of y'all scared a Halloween and he said, you
[55:24] Speaker 2: disobey me. You are a witch. You are moving in
[55:33] Speaker 2: witchcraft because you won't obey me. Oh God, they don't
[55:37] Speaker 2: want the Bible and stubborness as bad as worshiping idols.
[55:40] Speaker 2: So because you have rejected the command of the Lord,
[55:44] Speaker 2: he has rejected you as king. Write this down. Disobedience
[55:48] Speaker 2: doesn't look demonic, but is the invitation to your destruction?
[55:55] Speaker 2: You think, well, I just didn't do that one thing
[55:57] Speaker 2: God told me. You don't understand that that one thing
[56:02] Speaker 2: was the thing to lead to the thing that was
[56:05] Speaker 2: going to be the thing that does the thing you've
[56:07] Speaker 2: been praying the thing will do. What are you saying,
[56:11] Speaker 2: pastor Mike, You have no idea what's on the other
[56:14] Speaker 2: side of your obedience. In the same token, you have
[56:18] Speaker 2: no idea what's on the other side of your disobedience.
[56:26] Speaker 2: Jesus compares the disobedience to idle worship in witchcraft. So
[56:31] Speaker 2: the next time God says, hey, go talk to them
[56:34] Speaker 2: and share my love with them. I know you're busy,
[56:38] Speaker 2: and I know you're on your way to the movie
[56:39] Speaker 2: and you're gonna miss but I need you to go
[56:44] Speaker 2: tell them that I love them and pay for ten
[56:47] Speaker 2: dollars a gas for them. And the next time you
[56:51] Speaker 2: get in your car and act like that's nothing, he said,
[56:56] Speaker 2: you might as well worship the idol and participated in
[57:01] Speaker 2: a witchcraft ceremony. I want you to. We don't think
[57:06] Speaker 2: about it like that. We said, Ah, I didn't have
[57:09] Speaker 2: the time, I said, oh man, I promised my kids,
[57:13] Speaker 2: and he's like eternities in the balance, and you won't
[57:18] Speaker 2: obey me. I've been telling you for years to start
[57:22] Speaker 2: that LLC. You have no idea what resources I have
[57:27] Speaker 2: available for you to change the community that you're in,
[57:31] Speaker 2: But you just won't obey me. You won't o pay
[57:35] Speaker 2: me to tell that person that you're gonna work with
[57:39] Speaker 2: them for free. I know what you put on your
[57:42] Speaker 2: flyer and how much you charged, but I told you
[57:44] Speaker 2: you were supposed to sow into them. Why won't you,
[57:49] Speaker 2: oh pay me? I've told you to enroll in that school. Well, god,
[57:52] Speaker 2: I'm this old or I don't got them. Why won't
[57:57] Speaker 2: you just do what I asked you? And I found
[58:04] Speaker 2: that when God comes with the correction, most time our
[58:09] Speaker 2: hands are down, our hearts aren't open, and we won't
[58:13] Speaker 2: catch the correction. Peter, though catches the correction, cuts off
[58:21] Speaker 2: the ear. Jesus says, put your knife up. He's They
[58:27] Speaker 2: didn't take his knife, so he still has the same
[58:32] Speaker 2: opportunity to do the same thing again. If it was
[58:37] Speaker 2: some of the people that I run with, they would
[58:40] Speaker 2: have cut off one ear. Then would have went to
[58:43] Speaker 2: the homeboys start trying to cut his ear off they
[58:46] Speaker 2: would have. We don't hear about Peter putting up any
[58:50] Speaker 2: fight in that moment. Again he falls back. Why not
[59:00] Speaker 2: because the situation changed. He falls back at the command,
[59:07] Speaker 2: at the word of his savior. He obeyed. This is
[59:14] Speaker 2: why Peter gets used again and messes up one's wrong
[59:22] Speaker 2: route again. I'll never deny you. Before the lor rooster
[59:29] Speaker 2: crows three times, but he was still in the game.
[59:37] Speaker 2: He was still in the game because he could catch correct.
[59:46] Speaker 2: Have you been benched? Are you on your way out
[59:52] Speaker 2: of the game? God called you too? Because you won't
[59:56] Speaker 2: catch correction. Last thing I'm gonna tell you when you
[59:59] Speaker 2: find yourself in there, you gotta catch correction first, and
[1:00:02] Speaker 2: then every time you catch correction, you gotta comply with
[1:00:05] Speaker 2: the command. Last thing, you got to choose to continue
[1:00:08] Speaker 2: after the confrontation. This is where most people leave the church,
[1:00:13] Speaker 2: leave the marriage, leave the friendship. You'll cut off game
[1:00:17] Speaker 2: so strong at the time that there's a confrontation, then
[1:00:21] Speaker 2: you leave. What if Peter would have been like, never mind,
[1:00:26] Speaker 2: forget it, I'm domb following you because you didn't have
[1:00:28] Speaker 2: to call me out like that in front of you
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: everry body. While you do it like that, though you
[1:00:37] Speaker 2: didn't have my back, and Jesus like, because you caught
[1:00:40] Speaker 2: the correction, you fell back and you still stayed.
[1:00:47] Speaker 3: I'm gonna use you.
[1:00:49] Speaker 2: I'm gonna turn all of this into something that can
[1:00:52] Speaker 2: be put in eternity, because correction is a divine tool
[1:01:01] Speaker 2: by God, not a human insult, and most of us
[1:01:06] Speaker 2: think correction is something that God's trying to insult us
[1:01:08] Speaker 2: with the greatest moments of my growth has been when
[1:01:13] Speaker 2: God has corrected me and told me, watch this might
[1:01:16] Speaker 2: change course.
[1:01:19] Speaker 3: You were going this way, go this way, and even.
[1:01:23] Speaker 2: Sometimes when God calls the play, you're gonna miss. But
[1:01:27] Speaker 2: were your hands even up to receive the correction. I
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: promise you that when God calls this next play for me,
[1:01:37] Speaker 2: I don't know what's gonna happen, but my hands are
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: gonna be ready to receive the correction. And listen. It
[1:01:46] Speaker 2: doesn't matter who collapse. We just advanced. It doesn't matter who.
[1:01:57] Speaker 2: Every time you catch a ball in the opposing players stadium,
[1:02:01] Speaker 2: they boom. If I listen to the environment and the
[1:02:05] Speaker 2: atmosphere to get the chew. If I did a good job,
[1:02:10] Speaker 2: it's when I look at the quarterback and he's nodding
[1:02:13] Speaker 2: at me, and he comes to the place we advanced,
[1:02:16] Speaker 2: and then he runs another play and it doesn't make
[1:02:19] Speaker 2: a difference. I might have missed it. Okay, we get
[1:02:21] Speaker 2: another chance. That's where grace and mercy came in. But
[1:02:25] Speaker 2: I had an opportunity because of what Jesus did to
[1:02:28] Speaker 2: catch another ball, get tackled, get down. Listen. What I'm
[1:02:35] Speaker 2: telling you right now, Church, is if you're open to
[1:02:42] Speaker 2: correction in the middle of crash out, God will use
[1:02:49] Speaker 2: you in a way that you'd never imagine. Church. I
[1:02:55] Speaker 2: don't want to make you hype. I want you to
[1:02:58] Speaker 2: walk in humility. I can't tell you how much in
[1:03:03] Speaker 2: this last season God has corrected me when it felt unfair,
[1:03:09] Speaker 2: when it felt like I have every right to feel
[1:03:12] Speaker 2: this way, God said, call them, call them, call them,
[1:03:21] Speaker 2: y'all know them. This doesn't feel fair. I don't want
[1:03:28] Speaker 2: it to feel fair. I wanted to create faith, and
[1:03:34] Speaker 2: today my assignment was very simple. Catch the correction. I
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: don't care how old you are, I don't care how
[1:03:45] Speaker 2: long you've walked with God. Until you go and meet
[1:03:47] Speaker 2: with Him in heaven. He's going to be trying to
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: refine you and make you more like him catch.
[1:03:56] Speaker 3: The correction. Standing all over this place, I went.
[1:04:06] Speaker 2: And looked at what happened after Jesus dies and after
[1:04:12] Speaker 2: the disciples are trying to figure out how to take
[1:04:15] Speaker 2: the Gospel forward. I found this little scripture in Acts
[1:04:20] Speaker 2: three nineteen. That's Peter talking. Because when God throws correction
[1:04:26] Speaker 2: your way, you have two options. You can either repent
[1:04:29] Speaker 2: or rebel. That's it. You can either do what he's
[1:04:33] Speaker 2: saying and turn.
[1:04:35] Speaker 3: That's all. Repent means, turn the.
[1:04:36] Speaker 2: Direction he tells you to, or you can rebel and
[1:04:39] Speaker 2: go the direction that you want to.
[1:04:41] Speaker 3: Acts three nineteen.
[1:04:43] Speaker 2: This is the same guy who caught correction. In this moment,
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: he's saying to everybody, repent. That means turn and turn
[1:04:54] Speaker 2: to God so that your sins may be wiped out.
[1:05:00] Speaker 2: The times of refreshing may come from the Lord when
[1:05:06] Speaker 2: you repent and catch correction. The end result of that
[1:05:12] Speaker 2: is times of refreshing. How beautiful is it that God's saying, Golly,
[1:05:18] Speaker 2: they finally got it, They finally obeyed me. They actually
[1:05:23] Speaker 2: caught what I was trying to give them. I don't
[1:05:25] Speaker 2: have to run that same play again. I don't have
[1:05:28] Speaker 2: to keep taking them through that same cycle. They caught it.
[1:05:33] Speaker 2: It didn't feel good. It was frustrating. He had to
[1:05:37] Speaker 2: use my mom to do it. He had to use
[1:05:39] Speaker 2: my boss to do it. He had to use my
[1:05:41] Speaker 2: coworker to do it. He had to use opposition to
[1:05:44] Speaker 2: do it. But I caught the correction. You were You've
[1:05:47] Speaker 2: been trying to tell me for fifteen years. I talked
[1:05:49] Speaker 2: too much. Caught it. That's what it was. You were
[1:05:56] Speaker 2: trying to tell me to stop responding out of my
[1:05:58] Speaker 2: emotions and my childhood trauma. Caught it. Oh, you was
[1:06:03] Speaker 2: trying to tell me that I'm valuable without being associated
[1:06:07] Speaker 2: with them. Caught it. Oh, I'm actually chosen by you,
[1:06:17] Speaker 2: even when I'm not producing. Caught some of y'all working
[1:06:23] Speaker 2: five and six jobs and steal the ends. Ain't meeting,
[1:06:28] Speaker 2: and he told you just work those two your children
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: need you. Well, God, how is this gonna They won't
[1:06:34] Speaker 2: catch the correction? Let those three jobs go work the two.
[1:06:38] Speaker 2: I'm gonna give them a promotion. I'm gonna get this thing,
[1:06:40] Speaker 2: but they will today. Catch Will you be a receiver?
[1:06:52] Speaker 2: Open up your hands, Come on, open up your hands.
[1:06:55] Speaker 2: This is the only way you can receive anything. Hands down.
[1:07:00] Speaker 2: You can't receive anything now at this point, if you
[1:07:03] Speaker 2: looking at me, test you ready for this ball? Look
[1:07:06] Speaker 2: at her? See her hands is open. I can throw
[1:07:10] Speaker 2: this ball anywhere in this arena. Who own it? I
[1:07:15] Speaker 2: get through?
[1:07:15] Speaker 3: Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa?
[1:07:17] Speaker 2: Who want it's? Did you see hands went up in
[1:07:20] Speaker 2: the direction that I was looking you all ready? Because
[1:07:24] Speaker 2: you never know somebody's standing on their chair. There's a
[1:07:28] Speaker 2: there's expectation.
[1:07:31] Speaker 3: When you know who holds the ball.
[1:07:34] Speaker 2: I would never throw this ball to hurt you. I
[1:07:38] Speaker 2: would never throw this ball to hurts you. It's my
[1:07:42] Speaker 2: love for you. Catch hands up at the at the sign.
[1:07:54] Speaker 2: At the sign. So many people won't respond when God's saying, hey,
[1:08:07] Speaker 2: catch this God, I'm too old to go through that.
[1:08:12] Speaker 2: You've just never caught it before. Catch this correction. I
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: got something for you that's better and bigger than what
[1:08:23] Speaker 2: you what you catch this correct. The way you're talking
[1:08:26] Speaker 2: to your kids.
[1:08:27] Speaker 3: Is not like me.
[1:08:31] Speaker 2: Just because you got talked to like that, I'm trying
[1:08:34] Speaker 2: to Yes, they disobeyed, but they did not deserve that
[1:08:38] Speaker 2: language and that attitude. Catch the correction. But I'm supposed
[1:08:44] Speaker 2: to train them. You are training them. Okay, they're gonna
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: do the same thing you did to your grand babies
[1:08:52] Speaker 2: because you wouldn't submit. Catch you ready, big dog? Catch
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: the look at she said, me? You? You, me who catch?
[1:09:09] Speaker 3: And so many times in this moment somebody you called it?
[1:09:18] Speaker 2: Okay. Now look, five people went for the same correction,
[1:09:28] Speaker 2: did you Did you see in that moment they were
[1:09:32] Speaker 2: all reaching for because with understanding, when you know it's
[1:09:40] Speaker 2: his love, when God corrects me, when I know it's
[1:09:45] Speaker 2: his love, y'all ready, hands up, y'all. Look that whole section,
[1:09:50] Speaker 2: that one that that that lady's got so big. She said,
[1:09:54] Speaker 2: please don't throw it at me, passing, Please don't throw
[1:09:57] Speaker 2: it at me. What would happen if the whole church
[1:10:09] Speaker 2: was ready? What would happen? I know I'm taking a second,
[1:10:14] Speaker 2: but I just need you to see what would happen?
[1:10:17] Speaker 2: What would happen if you were ready? A nobody's caught
[1:10:22] Speaker 2: it yet, but they tried, not one time.
[1:10:30] Speaker 3: This is why grace and mercy.
[1:10:34] Speaker 2: This is why we serve God. It's because I may
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: miss it. I may miss it, But the truth of
[1:10:45] Speaker 2: the matter is I haven't thrown one ball of correction.
[1:10:50] Speaker 2: Oh I may miss it, but I haven't thrown one
[1:10:58] Speaker 2: ball of correction. Hey, listen, gyuess who else re choices
[1:11:09] Speaker 2: when you obey Heaven? Yes? Who else rechoices when you
[1:11:14] Speaker 2: do the will of your father Heaven? I saw a
[1:11:18] Speaker 2: whole section's hands go up because they were willing to
[1:11:25] Speaker 2: catch correct. When your boss comes and tells you you
[1:11:33] Speaker 2: could be on time.
[1:11:36] Speaker 3: Uh oh, it just got real.
[1:11:41] Speaker 2: When your person tells your attitude has been off this week,
[1:11:45] Speaker 2: don't automatically get offendi? Could that be the tool? When
[1:11:51] Speaker 2: your husband's saying, hey, it just doesn't feel like you're
[1:11:55] Speaker 2: communicating with me. What you mean you ain't. Ain't you
[1:11:58] Speaker 2: gonna mean me? Oh? No, no, no no? Catch hands lifted. God.
[1:12:12] Speaker 2: Today we need your help. Father.
[1:12:17] Speaker 3: There's so much that is going.
[1:12:18] Speaker 2: On, and there's so much we don't understand, and sometimes
[1:12:23] Speaker 2: it feels overwhelming that in the middle of our situation
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: and circumstance, you would still require us to catch correction. Father,
[1:12:35] Speaker 2: whether it's in our attitude and our conduct and our character.
[1:12:44] Speaker 2: Thank you for the grace that still keeps us in
[1:12:46] Speaker 2: the game, that allows us to have another opportunity to
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: try to catch the things you're trying to teach us.
[1:12:56] Speaker 3: Your word says.
[1:12:57] Speaker 2: You only correct those who you love. So today we
[1:13:01] Speaker 2: thank you for your love that sees us and a
[1:13:08] Speaker 2: better version than we are right now. Today we receive
[1:13:10] Speaker 2: your love. Ah, I receive your correction. Thank you that today,
[1:13:17] Speaker 2: Father God, that we won't be overwhelmed. You are the
[1:13:21] Speaker 2: only one who gives us the opportunity to turn right now.
[1:13:28] Speaker 2: And Father, for some of us who have been running
[1:13:29] Speaker 2: the wrong route for years, today we repent and we
[1:13:36] Speaker 2: come to you and we're asking you, what's the play?
[1:13:42] Speaker 2: What do you want me to run in this next season?
[1:13:46] Speaker 2: Who do you want me to play on the team
[1:13:47] Speaker 2: within this next season? What route am I supposed to
[1:13:52] Speaker 2: take for my career, for my children, for my marriage,
[1:13:55] Speaker 2: for my relationship? Father, how do you want me to communicate? Today? Father, God,
[1:14:00] Speaker 2: I'm letting you call the play, and whatever you say,
[1:14:02] Speaker 2: I will obey. And Father, even if it's hard to
[1:14:09] Speaker 2: receive it, I will not be stubborn or prideful in humility.
[1:14:17] Speaker 2: I will catch the correction in the middle of the
[1:14:22] Speaker 2: crash out. If you're in this room right now, and
[1:14:28] Speaker 2: you know that there have been situations where you have
[1:14:34] Speaker 2: purposely fumbled the season that God has called you in,
[1:14:39] Speaker 2: and today you're saying, God, I want to repent.
[1:14:41] Speaker 3: I need you to lift your hands. I want to
[1:14:43] Speaker 3: pray for you right now.
[1:14:44] Speaker 2: Yep, Okay, this is this is this is intentionally saying God,
[1:14:49] Speaker 2: I need you to come help me with this. Father,
[1:14:54] Speaker 2: you see the hands that are in this room and
[1:14:56] Speaker 2: that are lifted online all over the world today. I
[1:15:00] Speaker 2: thank you that the one thing that you cannot refuse
[1:15:05] Speaker 2: is a contrite spirit. A broken heart and a contrite spirit.
[1:15:11] Speaker 2: We are saying right now, we missed it God, and
[1:15:16] Speaker 2: we are turning to you. We're turning away from our ideas.
[1:15:21] Speaker 2: We are saying, not my will, but yours be done.
[1:15:23] Speaker 2: Give us direction, will run the place. Father. I'm thanking
[1:15:26] Speaker 2: you for supernatural rebuilding of things that we broke. Thank you,
[1:15:34] Speaker 2: Father that you can restore the years that are disobedience
[1:15:40] Speaker 2: has stolen. I thank you for mending relationships. I feel
[1:15:45] Speaker 2: your presence God. How thank you Father, God for canceling
[1:15:50] Speaker 2: out even the debt monetarily, emotionally that has been created
[1:15:58] Speaker 2: because we've been running the wrong play. Today, God, we
[1:16:05] Speaker 2: repent and we'll catch the correction. Sure. Yeah, thank you Lord,
[1:16:20] Speaker 2: that we won't be hard headed anymore, stubborn defiant if
[1:16:28] Speaker 2: you said it we believe it. And if you have
[1:16:32] Speaker 2: to correct us, it's not because you hate us. It's
[1:16:36] Speaker 2: because you see our future. Thank you, Lord that you
[1:16:41] Speaker 2: have plans for us, plans to prosper us and not
[1:16:44] Speaker 2: to harm us, to give us a hope and the future.
[1:16:50] Speaker 2: Thank you that relationships and marriages will be mended because
[1:16:54] Speaker 2: we won't look at each other's correction as an indictment.
[1:17:00] Speaker 2: I thank you that correction from my spouse is just
[1:17:04] Speaker 2: another love letter from God. Let me see them and
[1:17:11] Speaker 2: where you see them. God, I'll no longer have a
[1:17:16] Speaker 2: fence for the messenger, but God, I will receive your message.
[1:17:28] Speaker 2: God's doing surgery on people's hearts right now, y'all. He's
[1:17:32] Speaker 2: gonna start revealing to us areas that he is. Like, Yeah,
[1:17:35] Speaker 2: catch this correction. I want to be altered here at
[1:17:47] Speaker 2: the ault. God, you're gonna have to cut something off.
[1:17:54] Speaker 2: It's not gonna be an ear, but it might be
[1:17:56] Speaker 2: an attitude. I want to be all here at the ad.
[1:18:06] Speaker 5: Creating me a clean hut. Take me back to this.
[1:18:15] Speaker 5: Here's my offering.
[1:18:17] Speaker 2: It's me. I wanna be all here at the creating me,
[1:18:25] Speaker 2: create clean. Take me back to here I am. Here's
[1:18:36] Speaker 2: my it's me, just one more time. That's our prayer
[1:18:45] Speaker 2: creating and take me best. Here's my offering. Here, it's
[1:18:58] Speaker 2: me God, I want to be. If you've never received Jesus,
[1:19:05] Speaker 2: listen to me. This is the only way you'll even
[1:19:09] Speaker 2: catch the correction is you have to trust the one
[1:19:12] Speaker 2: who's thrown the past. He's already taken care of your eternity.
[1:19:19] Speaker 2: Let him actually help you live this life. It's the
[1:19:22] Speaker 2: reason he came, according to John, that you have life
[1:19:25] Speaker 2: and life to the fool. So today, if you want
[1:19:30] Speaker 2: to receive Jesus, I'm telling you, it's the greatest decision
[1:19:33] Speaker 2: you could ever make. It took me from being a liar, manipulator,
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: addicted to pornography, had so much dark stuff in my heart,
[1:19:40] Speaker 2: and it allowed me to see Him as the one
[1:19:41] Speaker 2: who knows the direction for my life. I can't keep
[1:19:45] Speaker 2: following them and think that I'm going to get to
[1:19:47] Speaker 2: where God's called me to be. I need to go
[1:19:50] Speaker 2: back to the creator and the designer, and today he
[1:19:53] Speaker 2: wants a personal.
[1:19:54] Speaker 3: Relationship with you.
[1:19:56] Speaker 2: We're about to go home. But I didn't preach this
[1:19:58] Speaker 2: whole message that somebody could go and not have the
[1:20:02] Speaker 2: opportunity to have their life completely transformed by meeting Jesus.
[1:20:09] Speaker 3: Today.
[1:20:09] Speaker 2: If that's you, on account of three, I just want
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: you to slip your hand up. And if it's for
[1:20:13] Speaker 2: one person, everything that has ever been done to get
[1:20:17] Speaker 2: us to this moment was all worth it, and all
[1:20:20] Speaker 2: of Heaven will begin to rejoice because of one person
[1:20:24] Speaker 2: that gave their life to Christ. That's how much he
[1:20:26] Speaker 2: loves you. If you want to receive Jesus, whether you
[1:20:32] Speaker 2: are in this room or watching online in your home
[1:20:34] Speaker 2: right now rebroadcast in a jail cell, today is the
[1:20:38] Speaker 2: day of salvation, and you've been going the wrong way
[1:20:41] Speaker 2: and it's time for you to catch this correction or
[1:20:45] Speaker 2: catch this compassion, because his correction is his compassion, and
[1:20:53] Speaker 2: it's moved him so much that before you even said
[1:20:56] Speaker 2: yes to him, he said yes to you. If that's you,
[1:21:02] Speaker 2: you know today is the day of salvation. I need
[1:21:03] Speaker 2: the church to begin to start praying because eternity is
[1:21:06] Speaker 2: in the.
[1:21:06] Speaker 3: Balance right now.
[1:21:07] Speaker 2: Today you are going to be transformed forever. Number one,
[1:21:12] Speaker 2: This is God's day of your transformation. Number two, your
[1:21:17] Speaker 2: name is gonna be written in the Lamb's Book of Life,
[1:21:19] Speaker 2: and your security is in heaven and in Jesus.
[1:21:23] Speaker 1: Three.
[1:21:24] Speaker 2: If you want to receive Jesus, lift your hand up
[1:21:26] Speaker 2: in the air. I see you, my brother, I see you,
[1:21:28] Speaker 2: my sister. I see the whole road right there. I
[1:21:31] Speaker 2: see you, my man. I see you. Come on, y'all,
[1:21:34] Speaker 2: I see you, my brother, all the way up. Transformation
[1:21:36] Speaker 2: in church, this is what we celebrate. Put your hands
[1:21:39] Speaker 2: up in the chat glory to God. Hey listen, hey, listen,
[1:21:47] Speaker 2: you just caught it. Salvation is a free gift that
[1:21:53] Speaker 2: you have to receive. Hands lifted all over this place.
[1:21:58] Speaker 2: We're going home. But this is the best part of
[1:22:00] Speaker 2: the service because Heaven's turning up right now and we
[1:22:03] Speaker 2: are too. This is the benefit of every believer.
[1:22:08] Speaker 3: That you don't have to worry no more.
[1:22:09] Speaker 2: You just have to receive and obey. A transformation church
[1:22:13] Speaker 2: where a family, everybody prais, nobody prays alone. So say God,
[1:22:17] Speaker 2: thank you for sending Jesus just for me today.
[1:22:24] Speaker 3: I admit I've sinned and I need a savior.
[1:22:28] Speaker 2: I repent and I turn to you. I believe you live.
[1:22:33] Speaker 2: I believe you died and you rose again with all
[1:22:38] Speaker 2: power so that I could live in freedom. Change me,
[1:22:45] Speaker 2: renew me, transform me. I'm yours forever in Jesus' naves. Amen, Hey,
[1:22:54] Speaker 2: can we sell it? Can we celebrate all over this place.
[1:22:59] Speaker 2: We want to say welcome to the family. And if
