Your distraction isn’t after your life—it’s after your vision. In Week 8 of Death to Distraction, Pastor Michael Todd challenged us with a question: Is your distraction playing you? Some of us have become so comfortable with our distractions that we don’t even realize they’re draining our strength. Like Samson, we’ve nurtured what was meant to conquer us, and by the time we wake up, it’s already taken more than we ever intended to give. It’s time to wake up and break free. We pray this message helps you identify the exits of distraction and realign your focus on what God has for you in this season! [0:02] Speaker 1: Welcome to Transformation Church podcast, where we represent God to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
[0:09] Speaker 1: glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
[0:12] Speaker 1: God will transform your life. To today's message.
[0:16] Speaker 2: Today, as we start the last week of an eight
[0:20] Speaker 2: week series, we're calling death to Distraction. Today, I want
[0:23] Speaker 2: to remind you that God is requiring from you another
[0:27] Speaker 2: level of focus. If you're taking notes, I want you
[0:29] Speaker 2: to write focus real big at the.
[0:31] Speaker 3: Top of your notes.
[0:32] Speaker 2: I want you to type it and push the header
[0:36] Speaker 2: and make it bold on your phone. Because the truth
[0:40] Speaker 2: of the matter is that you're too distracted for the
[0:43] Speaker 2: destiny God's called you too. I don't know what your
[0:47] Speaker 2: distraction is. I'm not saying we even have the same distraction.
[0:51] Speaker 2: Some of our distractions do overlap. But the truth of
[0:55] Speaker 2: the matter is, many times I'm worried about your distraction
[0:57] Speaker 2: when I'm imprisoned by mine.
[1:01] Speaker 3: And I believe that God wants everybody to.
[1:03] Speaker 2: Focus focus on Him so that then he can give
[1:07] Speaker 2: you what to focus on.
[1:08] Speaker 3: Everybody hear what I'm saying.
[1:10] Speaker 2: God doesn't just say focus, Because a lot of times
[1:12] Speaker 2: I come to people and I'm like, yo, I need
[1:14] Speaker 2: you to focus on God, But what about my bills?
[1:16] Speaker 2: What about my relationship? What about my kids. God's never
[1:19] Speaker 2: telling you to focus on him to forget other things.
[1:23] Speaker 3: He's telling you to focus on Him so he can
[1:25] Speaker 3: give you priority of how.
[1:26] Speaker 2: To focus, where to focus. When the focus that friend
[1:30] Speaker 2: he's been trying to get you to let go of
[1:31] Speaker 2: for years. He's trying to help prioritize the patterns and
[1:37] Speaker 2: the people in your life. So when God says focus,
[1:40] Speaker 2: the Bible tells us he's the one that lights our path.
[1:43] Speaker 2: Acknowledge him and all your ways, and he will direct
[1:47] Speaker 2: your He's trying to give you instructions, and you just
[1:51] Speaker 2: keep turning because the street looks familiar.
[1:56] Speaker 3: You keep going down these back.
[1:58] Speaker 2: Roads, trying to take shortcuts to a place that God said,
[2:01] Speaker 2: I'll lead you there. And so when God says focus,
[2:06] Speaker 2: it's not for any of the reason except he knows
[2:09] Speaker 2: the destination.
[2:10] Speaker 3: He knows the intended end.
[2:12] Speaker 2: And so everybody, by faith, we have to shout it
[2:14] Speaker 2: out me one more time.
[2:15] Speaker 3: Focus.
[2:16] Speaker 2: So that's why Hebrews twelve one, our scripture of the year,
[2:19] Speaker 2: It says, therefore, since we are surrounded by such a
[2:21] Speaker 2: great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every weight
[2:26] Speaker 2: or everything that hinders us, especially sin that so easily
[2:31] Speaker 2: entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race
[2:35] Speaker 2: that God has marked out for us. Fixing our eyes
[2:39] Speaker 2: on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of our faith. He's
[2:44] Speaker 2: saying focus for the joy that was set before him.
[2:47] Speaker 2: He endured the cross, scorning its shame. Now he been
[2:51] Speaker 2: chilling sat down at the right hand of the Father
[2:54] Speaker 2: of the throne of God. I say it every week,
[2:56] Speaker 2: but fixing your eyes on Jesus gives you the faith
[3:00] Speaker 2: to focus. As we end this series, I was reminded
[3:04] Speaker 2: of a story and today I'm just, honestly, more than
[3:07] Speaker 2: preaching to you, I want to talk to you like
[3:09] Speaker 2: it was just me and you at a coffee table
[3:13] Speaker 2: or in the place I feel most raw to talk
[3:16] Speaker 2: to people.
[3:16] Speaker 3: Is in my garage, in my little gym.
[3:19] Speaker 2: I got a little gym in my garage, and when
[3:21] Speaker 2: people come into my little gym garage, I just feel
[3:24] Speaker 2: like these weights already beating us up while we lying
[3:27] Speaker 2: to each other. Like when I'm in my little gym garage,
[3:31] Speaker 2: I'm like, if you come in here, you want to
[3:32] Speaker 2: know the truth. I'm gonna tell you the truth because
[3:34] Speaker 2: these thirties it's killing me right now. And some of
[3:38] Speaker 2: my most open and honest dialogue has been as I'm
[3:43] Speaker 2: sitting there in a vulnerable, vulnerable position, and I'm sitting
[3:47] Speaker 2: there with somebody who's talking about nonsense, and I'm like,
[3:52] Speaker 2: I gotta.
[3:52] Speaker 3: Just tell them the truth. Y'all know how sometimes you.
[3:55] Speaker 2: Be trying to be politically correct and like let people like, yeah,
[3:58] Speaker 2: I kind of understand, and you the whole time you
[4:00] Speaker 2: think it that's dumb. No, come on, y'all, y'all know
[4:03] Speaker 2: you know you're like uh huh uh huh uh huh
[4:06] Speaker 2: uh huh, and you figured you know what needs to
[4:08] Speaker 2: be said, but maybe you don't have the relational equity
[4:11] Speaker 2: to say it to them in the way it needs
[4:12] Speaker 2: to be said. Do you ever wish you could go
[4:14] Speaker 2: to your boss and just tell them you talk too much?
[4:18] Speaker 3: Okay?
[4:19] Speaker 2: You ever wish you go to a family memorer like
[4:21] Speaker 2: you make us all uncomfortable, or you go to a
[4:26] Speaker 2: family member like you eat too much food? You not
[4:30] Speaker 2: eat too much food, like you take too much. See,
[4:32] Speaker 2: y'all's so judgmental. Y'all know that one family member that
[4:35] Speaker 2: comes and makes a plate to go.
[4:36] Speaker 3: Before they make.
[4:37] Speaker 2: Their actual plate, you need to tell them you didn't
[4:41] Speaker 2: bring anything.
[4:43] Speaker 3: Why why you?
[4:49] Speaker 2: But to have an honest conversation, you have to have
[4:52] Speaker 2: relational equity.
[4:55] Speaker 3: And so I begin to pray.
[4:56] Speaker 2: This week that that in this last cause I could
[5:00] Speaker 2: literally take this series for another ten weeks, but I
[5:03] Speaker 2: know I got to move on. And so I just said, Lord,
[5:05] Speaker 2: help me have the courage to talk to all these
[5:09] Speaker 2: people like it was just me and them, and we
[5:13] Speaker 2: have real relational equity that no matter what I say
[5:16] Speaker 2: in this conversation.
[5:16] Speaker 3: We still gonna be friends after this.
[5:20] Speaker 2: And so today, with that lens of love, I need
[5:26] Speaker 2: to tell you that your distraction is playing you. The
[5:35] Speaker 2: title of my sermon today is your distraction is playing you.
[5:44] Speaker 2: The thing that has begun, the thing that you go
[5:48] Speaker 2: to run to, are taken off of what you know
[5:52] Speaker 2: to do. For some of you, it's a TV show.
[5:56] Speaker 2: For others you, it's a person. For some of you,
[5:59] Speaker 2: it's a career path. For others of you, it's your children.
[6:02] Speaker 2: I'm saying, real thing. You are distracted on what God
[6:05] Speaker 2: puts you on this earth to do because of something
[6:07] Speaker 2: He's allowed you to be in proximity to and now
[6:09] Speaker 2: you're obsessed with a title. You're obsessed with living in
[6:12] Speaker 2: a neighborhood. You're obsessed with people liking you. You're obsessed
[6:15] Speaker 2: with the number of likes and follows. And God said,
[6:18] Speaker 2: all of that is a distraction, and what I put
[6:22] Speaker 2: on you and put in you is for your destiny.
[6:26] Speaker 2: But you are, but you are being distracted, and that
[6:28] Speaker 2: distraction is playing you.
[6:32] Speaker 3: Has anybody ever been played before?
[6:34] Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I'm talking about like you really thought
[6:37] Speaker 2: somebody was in it for you and you got played. Okay,
[6:42] Speaker 2: Is anybody confused if you getting played? Right?
[6:44] Speaker 3: Now? Come on? Just hands up, Come on.
[6:46] Speaker 2: You talking to him and he like, yeah, in about
[6:48] Speaker 2: ten years, I'll marry you. Hold on, wait, he told
[6:51] Speaker 2: you up front ten years from now you're gonna marry you.
[6:54] Speaker 2: And you sitting there like, oh my god. Twenty thirty five.
[7:01] Speaker 2: What I remember this time? I got played with one
[7:06] Speaker 2: of my brothers. He's in the room, John Stanton. Yeah,
[7:10] Speaker 2: if you're my friend, you know you're gonna get used.
[7:13] Speaker 2: John Stanton played me as we both got played.
[7:21] Speaker 3: Let me tell you the story.
[7:23] Speaker 2: There was this brand of shoe that was really popular
[7:25] Speaker 2: about nine years ago.
[7:27] Speaker 3: Both of us didn't really have no money, but we
[7:30] Speaker 3: really liked nice things.
[7:31] Speaker 2: And these shoes were selling for like a thousand dollars, yeah,
[7:37] Speaker 2: on resale, and neither one of us had that. And
[7:41] Speaker 2: he worked at a shoe store and found this girl
[7:44] Speaker 2: who worked at another shoe store that could get them
[7:48] Speaker 2: for three hundred dollars a pair.
[7:51] Speaker 3: He was excited, he was jubilant.
[7:57] Speaker 2: He was so sure that this was a thing that
[8:00] Speaker 2: he came and shared his glee with me, And in
[8:05] Speaker 2: sharing his excitement, I got excited and was like, yo,
[8:09] Speaker 2: I can get three hundred. I can't get the thouh wow,
[8:11] Speaker 2: but I can get three hundred.
[8:13] Speaker 3: Let's do it together. And so both of us.
[8:16] Speaker 2: Scraped together with our small children, and we got kids
[8:19] Speaker 2: in the diapers and bottles and all kinds.
[8:21] Speaker 3: Of stuff, y'all. We was young, Okay.
[8:24] Speaker 2: We gave this three hundred dollars away to this person
[8:29] Speaker 2: that neither of us had ever met, not in person,
[8:33] Speaker 2: but they were real on ig. They contacted us back.
[8:39] Speaker 2: They doing all the things, and needless to say, the
[8:45] Speaker 2: time they said the shoes would be here, they were
[8:47] Speaker 2: not here. We started messaging them, They started deleting our messages.
[8:55] Speaker 3: To this day, I have never seen that product.
[9:00] Speaker 2: And at some point watch this, I had to come
[9:03] Speaker 2: to the realization that I was getting played. I had
[9:08] Speaker 2: to stop planning my outfits.
[9:12] Speaker 3: Oh come on, y'all. Y'all know when you know.
[9:13] Speaker 2: Something on the way, you'd be like, oh, I'm a
[9:15] Speaker 2: killing with this one.
[9:16] Speaker 3: I'll kill him.
[9:18] Speaker 2: I had to stop planning my outfits. I had to
[9:21] Speaker 2: stop planning for a refund. I had to come clean
[9:26] Speaker 2: to my wife. At some point I had to acknowledge
[9:33] Speaker 2: I am getting this is planning.
[9:36] Speaker 3: They planned me.
[9:39] Speaker 2: I tried to get mad at John, but I realized
[9:43] Speaker 2: he was getting played too. What I'm saying to you
[9:49] Speaker 2: right now is if you don't acknowledge that something is
[9:55] Speaker 2: using you, or using you in an abnormal way, you
[10:00] Speaker 2: won't realize that it's abuse.
[10:06] Speaker 3: It's abuse.
[10:08] Speaker 2: And if I could say it to you in a
[10:09] Speaker 2: raw way, that distraction that you have made a part
[10:12] Speaker 2: of your character, it's abusing you. Your confidence has taken
[10:17] Speaker 2: a hit like nothing.
[10:19] Speaker 3: You've ever experienced.
[10:20] Speaker 2: You you can't even remember the things God told you.
[10:23] Speaker 3: You used to be.
[10:24] Speaker 2: So sure of certain things, and because of what has happened,
[10:28] Speaker 2: and you've been getting played by the distraction of alcohol.
[10:33] Speaker 2: Alcohol ain't a sin. No, it's not a sin, but
[10:35] Speaker 2: you're no good on it. Alcohol's playing you. You make
[10:41] Speaker 2: poor decisions.
[10:44] Speaker 3: It's just a shot. Yes, it's just a shot.
[10:47] Speaker 2: It's not a sin, it's not a sin, but you're
[10:50] Speaker 2: not wise. See, you don't need to be like everybody's
[10:55] Speaker 2: trying to find this line.
[10:56] Speaker 3: I'm just trying.
[10:57] Speaker 2: If you won't be honest with yourself, your distraction is
[11:00] Speaker 2: playing you. Your desire for those things is making you
[11:08] Speaker 2: so upset about your now.
[11:13] Speaker 3: You can't even enjoy what God has done for.
[11:16] Speaker 2: You because that distraction is playing you. And today I
[11:22] Speaker 2: just I don't want to come and just acknowledge all
[11:24] Speaker 2: of our distraction. I just want to say, whatever it is,
[11:28] Speaker 2: there is no distraction that is for your good, not one.
[11:36] Speaker 2: And so for the past seven weeks, we've been looking
[11:38] Speaker 2: at the life of Samson, and then we looked.
[11:41] Speaker 3: At the life of Saul, and I just want to.
[11:44] Speaker 2: Say it to you like this, Your distraction is a
[11:46] Speaker 2: disguise and a destiny killer. Think about the thing you've
[11:52] Speaker 2: been distracted by. Some of y'all be on Facebook looking
[11:54] Speaker 2: at people you ain't been in school with for eighteen years.
[11:57] Speaker 2: I'm in your business. He's growing about on Facebook trying
[12:01] Speaker 2: to see what Lisa Santaaz is doing, not Sanchaez Santaaz.
[12:10] Speaker 3: And I'm just saying it's a small distraction.
[12:12] Speaker 2: But the energy that you're given to that is the
[12:14] Speaker 2: same energy that your wife is missing, a feeling cared for.
[12:21] Speaker 2: And you don't know why little pieces of you are
[12:23] Speaker 2: being eroded. Why it's not like it used to be.
[12:25] Speaker 2: It's not how it's because your distraction is playing.
[12:30] Speaker 3: You pastor Mike. Do you have precedence for this?
[12:34] Speaker 2: Yes, I do, as we've been looking at Samson's life.
[12:39] Speaker 3: And we've gone through the whole thing.
[12:41] Speaker 2: So if you can't pick up with us, you got
[12:42] Speaker 2: to go back and start from zero point one. But
[12:44] Speaker 2: Judges sixteen, verse seventeen, this is after Samson has been
[12:48] Speaker 2: with Delilah, I mean distraction for a period of time,
[12:54] Speaker 2: and it says verse seventeen. Finally Sampson shared his secret
[12:59] Speaker 2: with her. My hair has never been cut, girl, stop
[13:07] Speaker 2: nagging me, he confessed, for I dedicated. I was dedicated
[13:11] Speaker 2: to God as a Nazarite me. I can't mess with
[13:13] Speaker 2: anything that's dead, can't I can't take any strong drink,
[13:17] Speaker 2: and I can't cut my hair like this is what
[13:19] Speaker 2: God and my mam, and then made a deal with
[13:21] Speaker 2: I've known it my whole life, but I've been playing
[13:23] Speaker 2: with what could kill me my whole life from birth.
[13:28] Speaker 3: I've known this.
[13:29] Speaker 2: If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me
[13:33] Speaker 2: and I would become as weak as anyone else.
[13:37] Speaker 3: Verse eighteen.
[13:38] Speaker 2: Delilah, I mean distraction, realized he had finally told her
[13:43] Speaker 2: the truth. The distraction is looking for the truth of
[13:46] Speaker 2: what takes away your power.
[13:49] Speaker 3: Your distraction is looking for the thing? Can I get
[13:53] Speaker 3: them off?
[13:54] Speaker 2: And literally, Delilah finds out, and she tells the Philistine.
[13:58] Speaker 3: Rulers come back one off time.
[14:00] Speaker 2: I'd have found it, girl, I'd have found it, she said,
[14:03] Speaker 2: for he has finally told me his secret. So the
[14:06] Speaker 2: Philistine rulers returned with the money in her hand. Now
[14:10] Speaker 2: this is the person that Samson had been trusting. This
[14:14] Speaker 2: was a distraction he had been putting his faith in.
[14:19] Speaker 2: Sells him out Verse nineteen. Delilah, I mean distraction lulled
[14:24] Speaker 2: Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and
[14:30] Speaker 2: then she called in all the men to shave off
[14:34] Speaker 2: the seven locks of his hair. In this way, she
[14:38] Speaker 2: began to bring him down, and his strength left him.
[14:42] Speaker 2: His strength left while he was sleep. He didn't even
[14:48] Speaker 2: get to fight.
[14:51] Speaker 3: For his strength.
[14:52] Speaker 2: He was so comfortable with his distraction that he put
[14:56] Speaker 2: his head in his distraction's laugh and lost his power
[15:02] Speaker 2: while sleeping. This is the plan of the enemy for
[15:10] Speaker 2: our lives, is to get us so distracted with things
[15:13] Speaker 2: that don't matter that we lose the power that God
[15:17] Speaker 2: has placed on the inside of us to reach our destiny.
[15:20] Speaker 3: And we don't even realize it. Okay, he said. When
[15:26] Speaker 3: he woke up, he thought like I thought, like a
[15:30] Speaker 3: lot of us thought.
[15:31] Speaker 2: I'll do as I did before and shake myself free.
[15:34] Speaker 2: I'll do as I did before. I'll just apologize and
[15:36] Speaker 2: our marriage will be putting back together.
[15:38] Speaker 3: I'll do as I did before. I'll just go back
[15:40] Speaker 3: and I'll try it again.
[15:43] Speaker 2: But he didn't realize the Lord had left him. So
[15:49] Speaker 2: the Philistines captured him, and look what they did. It's
[15:52] Speaker 2: very specific. They gouged out his eyes. They weren't after
[15:59] Speaker 2: his life life, they were after his vision. I need
[16:04] Speaker 2: everybody to hear me. The distractions in your life are
[16:07] Speaker 2: not after just.
[16:08] Speaker 3: Your life, They're after your vision.
[16:12] Speaker 2: Why wouldn't they just kill them all of his time.
[16:15] Speaker 2: They wanted to take something that would allow his power
[16:21] Speaker 2: to be useless. They took him to Gaza, where he
[16:26] Speaker 2: was bound with bronze chains and forced to grind grain
[16:30] Speaker 2: in the prison. This is how we're going to end
[16:32] Speaker 2: this whole thing, the six exits of distraction. Today, if
[16:38] Speaker 2: you're being distracted in any area, I'm going to give
[16:41] Speaker 2: you six times in your life where you can get
[16:46] Speaker 2: off of that highway that's leading to hell. You're on
[16:50] Speaker 2: a highway to hell. And I'm not talking about in
[16:53] Speaker 2: the afterlife. I'm talking about right on this earth. Some
[16:56] Speaker 2: of y'all don't got to wait to die to go
[16:57] Speaker 2: to hell. You living in it every sing.
[17:00] Speaker 3: No, y'all gotta come on you. This is hell going
[17:03] Speaker 3: through all of this. And I'm trying to give you.
[17:08] Speaker 2: The ability to understand what distractions do so you can
[17:11] Speaker 2: get off on the exit.
[17:12] Speaker 3: Okay. The first thing you need to know about.
[17:15] Speaker 2: A distraction is a distraction always starts off neutral. Anything
[17:20] Speaker 2: that is a distraction in your life was not no
[17:22] Speaker 2: big distraction trying to take your life at the beginning.
[17:25] Speaker 3: It was something you discovered.
[17:28] Speaker 2: Wow, that drink is good Wow, her butt is nice.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Hmm are those apps?
[17:40] Speaker 3: It's never malicious. It's like, oh, that's a nice vacation.
[17:47] Speaker 3: They went on. It's neutral.
[17:52] Speaker 2: The best place to get off the highway of hell
[17:57] Speaker 2: is when you notice it, leave it right. His wife
[18:07] Speaker 2: is fine, that ain't my wife? Yeah? See, so many
[18:13] Speaker 2: times were trying to demonize the discovery. Yeah, why are
[18:20] Speaker 2: we demonizing the discovery when a child has never had
[18:23] Speaker 2: ice cream before? If you ever see a child that's
[18:27] Speaker 2: been just eating like Kiwi's and and and uh, guacamole
[18:32] Speaker 2: and broccoli.
[18:33] Speaker 3: The first time.
[18:36] Speaker 2: They get some Bluebel vanilla ice cream, their whole bodies
[18:40] Speaker 2: starts shaking it. WHOA, my god? Why why we don't go? Ah,
[18:49] Speaker 2: that's not good. It's it's discovery. It's it's if that
[18:56] Speaker 2: becomes their only place to eat. Yeah, it's and if
[19:00] Speaker 2: that's what they think is breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
[19:03] Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying. So what I'm saying
[19:05] Speaker 3: is it's neutral.
[19:08] Speaker 2: But many of us have things right now that are
[19:10] Speaker 2: neutral that if you don't get off of making that
[19:16] Speaker 2: thing something you keep looking at. I heard it said
[19:19] Speaker 2: like this, the first look is not the issue. It's
[19:21] Speaker 2: the second look, y'all hear.
[19:24] Speaker 3: What I'm saying. The first look is not the issue.
[19:27] Speaker 2: If I go and I'm walking and I'm like, oh okay.
[19:31] Speaker 3: It's the y'all know.
[19:36] Speaker 2: What I'm talking about is the I'm putting myself in danger?
[19:45] Speaker 2: What are you looking at too long?
[19:49] Speaker 3: I'm just we're in the gym, we're talking vulnerable.
[19:52] Speaker 2: Why do you keep looking at it? Why do you
[19:55] Speaker 2: keep looking at them? Why do you keep looking at
[19:57] Speaker 2: what you don't have? Why do you keep looking at
[19:59] Speaker 2: what church?
[20:01] Speaker 3: And what that? What place? And what car? And what?
[20:04] Speaker 3: Why do you why do you keep looking at it?
[20:07] Speaker 2: Some of y'all need to have a block party.
[20:11] Speaker 3: I'm not talking about outside New York.
[20:13] Speaker 2: I'm just talking about everything in your life that is
[20:17] Speaker 2: something that you can look at and that takes your
[20:19] Speaker 2: attention or your focus. You need to block it. And
[20:22] Speaker 2: the reason you don't is because of an easy word
[20:25] Speaker 2: that most people don't understand.
[20:27] Speaker 3: It's pride.
[20:29] Speaker 2: You actually think you better than you are in that situation.
[20:33] Speaker 2: I can handle that. I can swipe past it. I
[20:35] Speaker 2: can look at it.
[20:36] Speaker 3: Until you can't. That's some ke Why are you saying this?
[20:44] Speaker 2: Because some of you would save your family's line if
[20:48] Speaker 2: you would get off the exit of this distraction while
[20:51] Speaker 2: it's neutral. Because after a distraction is neutral, this what happens.
[20:56] Speaker 2: It becomes nurtured. If you don't kill the distraction at neutral,
[21:02] Speaker 2: then you start to nurture it. Then you start to
[21:06] Speaker 2: make provisions for it. Then you start to do it
[21:08] Speaker 2: secretly when nobody's around in only every six weeks and
[21:11] Speaker 2: every six months, and then you start to make provisions
[21:14] Speaker 2: for it, and then you make excuses for it. And
[21:16] Speaker 2: I know it's quiet in here because I'm in your business.
[21:19] Speaker 2: The truth of the matter is right now. Some of
[21:22] Speaker 2: you have been nurturing these things just for the right
[21:25] Speaker 2: opportunity for them to get grown enough to kill you.
[21:30] Speaker 2: And God's telling you this is the season. I'm telling
[21:32] Speaker 2: you the focus put death to distraction. I forgive you.
[21:36] Speaker 2: It's gone past neutral. You started to nurture it. Get
[21:39] Speaker 2: off of this highway right now. And while you've nurtured it,
[21:43] Speaker 2: before it takes you off, you need to exit.
[21:50] Speaker 3: Delilah started off neutral.
[21:53] Speaker 2: It was just another philistine woman that he saw.
[21:56] Speaker 3: And the crazy thing is he was supposed to.
[21:58] Speaker 2: Be the hero, the chance being for the philistine to
[22:01] Speaker 2: actually kill all the Philistines. But he started to love
[22:04] Speaker 2: what he was supposed to conquer, and it went from
[22:11] Speaker 2: neutral to he started nurturing it. Remember he said to
[22:15] Speaker 2: his father earlier, he said, I must have her.
[22:19] Speaker 3: I got it. I mean, it's my birthday. I gotta
[22:21] Speaker 3: go to the club. I'm only turning thirty once. I'm
[22:25] Speaker 3: only turning forty once. I'm only like, we make these
[22:28] Speaker 3: things in our head, Like I'm forty six.
[22:30] Speaker 2: What happens at forty six, I don't know, but today
[22:32] Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it. We make these things, and what
[22:39] Speaker 2: we're doing many times, watch this is nurturing our distractions.
[22:43] Speaker 2: And anytime you nurture something, you give it enough fuel,
[22:46] Speaker 2: enough food for it to grow. So I'm just asking you,
[22:52] Speaker 2: wherever you're at right now, if your distraction you've started
[22:56] Speaker 2: to actually nurture it, I'm asking you to develop it.
[23:00] Speaker 3: I'm asking you put a.
[23:03] Speaker 2: Death to that distraction right here, because if you don't,
[23:07] Speaker 2: it goes from being neutral something you discovered, to something
[23:11] Speaker 2: that you nurture, which is developed. To watch this, it
[23:14] Speaker 2: becomes natural. And when your distraction and you are natural
[23:19] Speaker 2: with each other, it becomes the thing that desensitizes you.
[23:25] Speaker 2: Some of us right now, if your closest friends told
[23:28] Speaker 2: you your real issue, you would get so triggered.
[23:33] Speaker 3: If your friends just so.
[23:34] Speaker 2: You have an issue shopping and you're like, this is
[23:37] Speaker 2: you shopping?
[23:37] Speaker 3: What you talking about? I don't have no issues sho.
[23:41] Speaker 2: And your card on Amazon right now has ninety eight
[23:44] Speaker 2: things in them. Okay, I know that that got that
[23:49] Speaker 2: got personal. I saw the eyes come at me right there.
[23:53] Speaker 2: I mean, and I'm not not saying that it's wrong
[23:55] Speaker 2: or bad or not, but like when.
[23:56] Speaker 3: You have an issue, you know what you go to do.
[23:59] Speaker 2: You're not gonna pray, You're not gonna go talk to God,
[24:01] Speaker 2: You're not gonna ask for counsel.
[24:02] Speaker 3: You're gonna go shop. He done pissed me off. I oh,
[24:10] Speaker 3: I damn, I ain't that. Come on, let's be honest.
[24:18] Speaker 3: Why are you saying that?
[24:19] Speaker 2: Because now, because of culture, because of your friends, because
[24:22] Speaker 2: of it being secret, nobody even thinks it's an issue.
[24:27] Speaker 2: So right now many of us are distraction is covert.
[24:31] Speaker 2: It's not an issue. Everybody does it, and God says,
[24:35] Speaker 2: but this takes your focus. Every time I try to
[24:39] Speaker 2: tell you to come spend some time with me, you
[24:40] Speaker 2: buying a new dress. It's only five ninety nine. It's
[24:44] Speaker 2: costing you more than five ninety nine. It's causing you direction,
[24:49] Speaker 2: it's costing you wisdom, it's costing hearing from me.
[24:53] Speaker 3: But it's so natural, it's so natural, and.
[24:59] Speaker 2: Please don't feel this criminated against. I'm not calling everybody's
[25:01] Speaker 2: situation because I gotta get us past this point. But
[25:04] Speaker 2: I'm just saying, whatever your distraction is, if it's comfortable
[25:07] Speaker 2: and natural to you, you may be desensitized when the
[25:10] Speaker 2: Holy Spirit tries to touch you and say, hey, this
[25:13] Speaker 2: is an issue. You don't even feel it no more.
[25:17] Speaker 2: I don't got no conviction around that. No, your numb.
[25:21] Speaker 3: He he you should. He's touching you.
[25:23] Speaker 2: He's saying, stop saying that, Stop talking like that, stop
[25:26] Speaker 2: cussing like that, stop talking to them kids like that.
[25:28] Speaker 3: He's hey, hey, hey, hey, but you don't feel it
[25:31] Speaker 3: no more because it's been so natural.
[25:35] Speaker 2: Okay, I gotta move. If you don't kill it when
[25:42] Speaker 2: it's neutral, then it gets nurtured. If you don't kill
[25:44] Speaker 2: it when it's nurtured, it becomes natural. If you don't
[25:46] Speaker 2: kill it when it's natural.
[25:49] Speaker 3: Y'all know that Sampson.
[25:51] Speaker 2: Has tried, has been assassin has had an assassination attempt
[25:55] Speaker 2: against his life four times, and this dumby, no I
[26:01] Speaker 2: have to call him what he is at this moment,
[26:05] Speaker 2: is still going to continue to stay around the thing
[26:09] Speaker 2: that he nearly escaped death three other times that he
[26:13] Speaker 2: knows of how many of y'all pray that pray God,
[26:18] Speaker 2: if you get me out it is Lord. I'm telling
[26:21] Speaker 2: you right now, if you get me out of this situation,
[26:23] Speaker 2: I'll promise you.
[26:24] Speaker 3: I promise, I'll make ather. And he gets you out
[26:28] Speaker 3: of there, and you forget.
[26:31] Speaker 2: Okay, you become desensitized, and watch this Judge is sixteen nineteen.
[26:36] Speaker 2: Delilah lulls Himpson to sleep with his head in her lap,
[26:40] Speaker 2: and then she called in the men to shave off
[26:43] Speaker 2: his seven locks. After it becomes natural, your distraction ask
[26:48] Speaker 2: you to take a nap. And when your distraction ask
[26:55] Speaker 2: you to take a nap, this is what happened. You
[26:56] Speaker 2: become detached. You're not even, you're not even, you're not
[27:01] Speaker 2: even cognizant of reality.
[27:02] Speaker 3: No more.
[27:03] Speaker 2: Have you ever had a friend doing something so dumb
[27:05] Speaker 2: that's obvious that everybody else, but they really think that
[27:09] Speaker 2: it's the thing to do.
[27:11] Speaker 3: They become detached.
[27:14] Speaker 2: I heard a story of somebody doing something really, really,
[27:17] Speaker 2: really like, I can't even believe you would leave all
[27:20] Speaker 2: of what God has done for this thing that's not
[27:22] Speaker 2: even real. But they were so detached from reality. They
[27:27] Speaker 2: had taken a nap in the lap of a distraction.
[27:35] Speaker 2: And I think about this, and said he had seven dreadlocks.
[27:38] Speaker 2: He was a brother, by the way, because he had dreadlocks.
[27:40] Speaker 3: Y'all see that. Okay, there's just blues clues. Put it together.
[27:43] Speaker 2: Okay, my man takes a nap and they cut off
[27:51] Speaker 2: seven locks of hair.
[27:54] Speaker 3: I wonder which one did his witch cut? Was the
[27:59] Speaker 3: one he lost his power? Which one? Y'all think it
[28:05] Speaker 3: was the first one? No, it wasn't the last one.
[28:07] Speaker 2: It couldn't have been the last one, because he said
[28:09] Speaker 2: his hair should have never been cut.
[28:13] Speaker 3: So the first cut, and.
[28:17] Speaker 2: He probably had seven, thinking the grace wasn't gonna run out. Surely,
[28:22] Speaker 2: surely God's gonna And he told him, Hey, don't let none.
[28:28] Speaker 3: Of y'all and some of us play with God like that.
[28:32] Speaker 2: And your distraction is playing you. You're laying in the
[28:35] Speaker 2: lap of the thing that's about to take your power.
[28:39] Speaker 2: He loses his power. And if you're at the place
[28:42] Speaker 2: where you where you're taking a napew your sleep on
[28:46] Speaker 2: a distraction.
[28:47] Speaker 3: Wake God, no, no, no, hear what I'm saying to you.
[28:51] Speaker 3: I needed to be loud like an alarm. Wake God.
[28:55] Speaker 2: Hear me, because the only thing that could have saved
[28:57] Speaker 2: Samson at that moment, yeah before as the sisters were coming,
[29:02] Speaker 2: as if he would have woken up. And some of
[29:08] Speaker 2: y'all are so close, You've been playing with it so long.
[29:12] Speaker 2: This is my last time I can talk about this
[29:14] Speaker 2: for a couple of weeks, and I just gotta tell
[29:16] Speaker 2: somebody you may not have next month. I'm just saying
[29:21] Speaker 2: Tomorrow's not promise. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm
[29:23] Speaker 2: just trying to tell you the truth. Like like you're
[29:27] Speaker 2: waiting for this thing that happened for you to actually
[29:29] Speaker 2: obey God, and God's like, ay, you might not have
[29:34] Speaker 2: all the chances you think you got. I'm not't even
[29:40] Speaker 2: talking about death. You think you're gonna play that woman
[29:42] Speaker 2: again and she gonna stay with you. You think you're
[29:46] Speaker 2: gonna lie of those children again and they're gonna still
[29:48] Speaker 2: have the same respect level for you. You think that
[29:50] Speaker 2: you're going to steal from that job again, and you
[29:52] Speaker 2: still gonna have a job. I'm saying there are consequences in.
[29:56] Speaker 3: Some of y'all like that's extreme. Apply it for you.
[30:00] Speaker 2: Came as an oracle of God today to tell you your
[30:02] Speaker 2: distraction is playing you. Your distraction is going to be
[30:06] Speaker 2: sitting there watching you lose what God promised you.
[30:09] Speaker 3: This is where we end.
[30:12] Speaker 2: If you don't get off the exit at Neutral, and
[30:15] Speaker 2: you don't get off the exit at nurtured, and you
[30:17] Speaker 2: don't get off the exit at natural, and you don't
[30:19] Speaker 2: get off the exit.
[30:20] Speaker 3: At NAP, this is what happens.
[30:24] Speaker 2: Then something gets mixed in your life. See, everybody thinks
[30:30] Speaker 2: that the nixing or the cutting or the taking away
[30:33] Speaker 2: or the ending of something was his hair. That wasn't
[30:37] Speaker 2: the only thing they took. It's enough, he's powerless. Now
[30:43] Speaker 2: watch what I'm saying to you.
[30:45] Speaker 3: They cut his hair, they take his hair, they take
[30:50] Speaker 3: his strength, but they take something else.
[30:54] Speaker 2: So the Philistines verse twenty one, Judge sixteen twenty one
[30:58] Speaker 2: captured him and gallup out his eyes. They took his sight,
[31:04] Speaker 2: they took his vision. What are you saying, pastor mic
[31:08] Speaker 2: They wanted him to live in the dark. Your distraction
[31:14] Speaker 2: ultimate goal is for you to live in the dark.
[31:20] Speaker 3: They could have killed him. It could have been death.
[31:23] Speaker 2: They said, Nah, it's better for everybody to see him
[31:27] Speaker 2: still survive, but in his state of weakness. Your distraction
[31:33] Speaker 2: wants you to still be seen, but still be bound.
[31:39] Speaker 2: Oh God, your distraction wants you to still be able
[31:42] Speaker 2: to show up, but not be able to say anything.
[31:46] Speaker 2: Your distraction wants you to be alive, but not be living. God,
[31:55] Speaker 2: your distraction is playing you. And the reason I know
[31:58] Speaker 2: is because it played me for years. My distractions of pornography, addiction,
[32:04] Speaker 2: my distractions of comparison, my distractions I'm not telling you
[32:08] Speaker 2: something that I just want you to go do.
[32:09] Speaker 3: I've walked this thing out.
[32:11] Speaker 2: My distraction of lust, my distractions of perversion, my distractions
[32:15] Speaker 2: of a love for money. This series I'm about to
[32:17] Speaker 2: preach next week is from my life. I had wicked
[32:22] Speaker 2: things in my heart when it came to money and
[32:25] Speaker 2: wealth and what it would make me, and God had
[32:26] Speaker 2: to take and strip me of all of those things
[32:29] Speaker 2: to actually let me see that wealth is supposed to
[32:32] Speaker 2: work for the kingdom.
[32:34] Speaker 3: It's supposed to be a tool.
[32:36] Speaker 2: A few weeks ago, we told the church that as
[32:38] Speaker 2: a church, in the last ten years, we've given away
[32:40] Speaker 2: thirty four million dollars.
[32:43] Speaker 3: Y'all don't understand. Yeah, praise God.
[32:46] Speaker 2: But the thing that you don't understand is if God
[32:49] Speaker 2: wouldn't have stripped me of the distraction.
[32:55] Speaker 3: Of a wicked.
[32:58] Speaker 2: That money would have had me doing other things. Guys,
[33:03] Speaker 2: I'm trying to plead with you today. I'm not trying
[33:07] Speaker 2: to make you feel bad. I've done the same thing.
[33:09] Speaker 2: All I'm saying to you is you're not gonna change
[33:12] Speaker 2: nothing you think is helping you.
[33:14] Speaker 3: And I just came to tell you your distraction is
[33:16] Speaker 3: playing you.
[33:18] Speaker 2: They take Samson's vision, and after his vision is gone,
[33:23] Speaker 2: it turns nuclear. I'm stopping for a moment because I'm
[33:31] Speaker 2: just thinking about what would have happened if I got distracted.
[33:38] Speaker 2: I'm sitting here on this day actually messed up because
[33:42] Speaker 2: I was told earlier this week that March ninth today
[33:49] Speaker 2: is the day that God gave me a vision ten
[33:52] Speaker 2: years ago in my daughter's room at seven twenty nine.
[33:58] Speaker 2: Many of you know the story.
[34:01] Speaker 3: Many of you know.
[34:02] Speaker 2: Just bring it to me real quick, and I blew
[34:04] Speaker 2: it up so that you could see the reality of this,
[34:08] Speaker 2: and I start getting emotional because ten years ago today
[34:13] Speaker 2: I had nothing. I had just become the lead pastor
[34:17] Speaker 2: of Transformation Church. Thirty seven days earlier. I was sitting
[34:23] Speaker 2: there with three hundred people in the church, and I
[34:26] Speaker 2: woke up under anxiety and pressure, not knowing if I
[34:29] Speaker 2: could stay pure and not look at pornography, and how
[34:32] Speaker 2: can I lead people my parents' age, and how I
[34:35] Speaker 2: just had all this the what is anybody gonna give?
[34:37] Speaker 3: Are they gonna trust me?
[34:38] Speaker 2: Are they gonna find out that I went to jail
[34:40] Speaker 2: and I had to serve community service.
[34:41] Speaker 3: They did, they found out. Let me be let me
[34:46] Speaker 3: be clear, like.
[34:49] Speaker 2: But God said, he said, Michael, I'm gonna give you
[34:52] Speaker 2: a vision. I'm gonna give you a destiny. I'm gonna
[34:54] Speaker 2: give you a destination. And sitting in my daughter's room
[34:58] Speaker 2: at seven twenty nine to eight m Bella's room, I
[35:01] Speaker 2: wrote it down. March ninety, twenty fifteen, the Spirit Bank
[35:05] Speaker 2: Event Center will be Transformation Church.
[35:08] Speaker 3: I wrote it down.
[35:09] Speaker 2: I took this picture off of Google. I tried to
[35:11] Speaker 2: make the image as good as I can. If you
[35:13] Speaker 2: get close up on it, you can see how my
[35:15] Speaker 2: pages document didn't really allow me to win. I even
[35:21] Speaker 2: spelled transformation wrong. I spelled transfer may on. I forgot
[35:27] Speaker 2: the tea. I leave it just like this to let
[35:30] Speaker 2: people know that it doesn't have to be perfect. It
[35:33] Speaker 2: has to be written down, it has to.
[35:35] Speaker 3: Come from God.
[35:38] Speaker 2: I wrote this down, and as I think of us
[35:42] Speaker 2: on March nineteen years later, shooting a movie on this
[35:47] Speaker 2: exact day, in this facility, that was not Oh God,
[35:53] Speaker 2: in this facility, that was just a vision on a.
[35:56] Speaker 3: Piece of paper. And the first thing said, we will
[35:59] Speaker 3: have a state of.
[36:00] Speaker 2: The art facility. This is before we had a speaker,
[36:04] Speaker 2: a stage of light. And it just goes on to
[36:06] Speaker 2: say all of these things. I start to think, what
[36:09] Speaker 2: would happen if I would have got distracted believe the
[36:16] Speaker 2: lies and believe what they said. And when God told
[36:23] Speaker 2: me to represent and God told us to do ransom,
[36:25] Speaker 2: and then we got people writing blogs on.
[36:27] Speaker 3: Us and all that other stuff.
[36:28] Speaker 2: What if I would have got distracted, I would have
[36:32] Speaker 2: missed out on one of the many destinies destinations. Today,
[36:38] Speaker 2: I'm just here to ask you don't miss out on
[36:43] Speaker 2: whatever God has for you because you've fallen in love.
[36:47] Speaker 3: With a distraction. Your distraction is playing you.
[36:54] Speaker 2: My favorite part about this whole scripture. I'm gonna just
[36:56] Speaker 2: set this right here. It's Judges verse sixteen and twenty two.
[37:03] Speaker 2: This is gonna encourage somebody. He gets captured, his eyes
[37:06] Speaker 2: get gouged.
[37:07] Speaker 3: Out, he gets put on display. But somebody shot at me.
[37:11] Speaker 2: But I'm not talking about your glutiest maximism.
[37:15] Speaker 3: But I'm talking.
[37:16] Speaker 4: About the word that interrupts whatever sentence is being written
[37:25] Speaker 4: about you.
[37:27] Speaker 2: Whatever lie has been said, God says, but oh God,
[37:32] Speaker 2: whatever thing that you've been going down, and everything that
[37:35] Speaker 2: you've been going, God will significantly stop being and say,
[37:39] Speaker 2: but not them, but not my children, but not this family.
[37:44] Speaker 3: But no, no, no, no, no, no.
[37:46] Speaker 2: They were this, but they've been redeemed.
[37:50] Speaker 3: They were a liar. But any man that be in
[37:53] Speaker 3: Christ here is a new creation.
[37:55] Speaker 2: They were addicted. But I'm the one who sets you free.
[37:59] Speaker 2: And if I set you free, you are free in
[38:02] Speaker 2: team Samson has been distracted his whole life. But before long,
[38:17] Speaker 2: the Bible says in verse twenty two.
[38:19] Speaker 3: His hair began to grow back.
[38:26] Speaker 2: I feel like God is about to do a road
[38:29] Speaker 2: gain situation in some of y'all situations, y'all your hair
[38:34] Speaker 2: about to your faith is about to grow back. Your
[38:37] Speaker 2: confidence is about to grow back. Your integrity is about
[38:41] Speaker 2: to grow back. God is not gonna let it in
[38:44] Speaker 2: like this, standing.
[38:44] Speaker 3: All over this building. What are you saying, pastor Mike?
[38:55] Speaker 2: You can have focus After the failure, Samson, After he
[39:04] Speaker 2: lost his eyes, he didn't lose his voice, and he
[39:11] Speaker 2: began to pray to God. Some of y'all are in
[39:14] Speaker 2: darkness right now, but you still got your voice.
[39:18] Speaker 3: Some of you can't see your way forward.
[39:20] Speaker 2: But the enemy wants you to shut up, and you
[39:21] Speaker 2: need to use your voice Judge of sixteen twenty. And
[39:25] Speaker 2: then Samson prayed to the Lord, Sovereign, Lord, just remember
[39:29] Speaker 2: me again. Oh God, please strengthen me just one more time.
[39:37] Speaker 2: With one blow, let me pay back these Philistines. What
[39:40] Speaker 2: he's saying, with one blow, this one last act? Can
[39:42] Speaker 2: I please still reach destiny? You assigned me from birth
[39:47] Speaker 2: to defeat the Philistines. I had to go through a
[39:51] Speaker 2: lot because I was distracted.
[39:52] Speaker 3: I lost my.
[39:53] Speaker 2: Place, I lost my sight, I lost my hair. But
[39:58] Speaker 2: one more time, God, could you use me so I
[40:03] Speaker 2: can actually fulfill my destiny?
[40:07] Speaker 3: He said, Can I pay them back for the loss
[40:11] Speaker 3: of my two eyes?
[40:13] Speaker 2: Then Samson put his hands on the two center pillars
[40:17] Speaker 2: that held up the temple, pushing against them, not with
[40:21] Speaker 2: just his own strength, but with the strength of Heaven's
[40:25] Speaker 2: army behind him, with both hands. Watch what he did.
[40:29] Speaker 2: He's pushing and praying. He's pushing and praying. He's not
[40:34] Speaker 2: just pushing. He's just not using his own strength. He's
[40:38] Speaker 2: pushing and praying. It says with both hands. He pushed
[40:45] Speaker 2: Verse thirty, and he prayed, let me die with the Philistines,
[40:50] Speaker 2: and the temple crashed down on the Philistine rulers and.
[40:54] Speaker 3: All the people. So he killed more people when he
[40:59] Speaker 3: died then during the time that he was alive.
[41:06] Speaker 2: When you turn to Jesus, you can steal fulfill your
[41:10] Speaker 2: destiny after distraction, give God praise in this frost. Somebody
[41:19] Speaker 2: say it's not finished. Y'all missed it. Somebody say it's
[41:23] Speaker 2: not finished. So you decide, You decide today. I just
[41:32] Speaker 2: want to pray for everybody that knows they got to
[41:34] Speaker 2: get off one of these exits.
[41:38] Speaker 3: I'm gonna pray for you, and.
[41:39] Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask anybody that wants to ask Jesus into
[41:41] Speaker 2: your life. I want you to have an opportunity because
[41:45] Speaker 2: that's the only thing that changed my focus. And as
[41:50] Speaker 2: we do that again, this moment right here is about
[41:55] Speaker 2: people giving their life to Christ. Yeah, we're about to
[41:58] Speaker 2: shoot a scene from a movie right after this, and
[42:00] Speaker 2: if you got to go, you can do that. But
[42:02] Speaker 2: there is nothing more important that will happen today, not
[42:05] Speaker 2: one thing than this right here, because we're talking about
[42:10] Speaker 2: life and death. We're talking about walking around in darkness
[42:14] Speaker 2: or walking around in His marvelous light. Today is the
[42:18] Speaker 2: only thing that changed my life. And I need our
[42:21] Speaker 2: church to be praying. If you're watching online right now,
[42:24] Speaker 2: today is the day of salvation. If there is any
[42:26] Speaker 2: area in your life that you know distraction has been
[42:29] Speaker 2: leading you down the wrong path, would you just identify
[42:33] Speaker 2: by just lifting your hand. I want to pray for
[42:35] Speaker 2: you today, just in any area I'm in the right place,
[42:38] Speaker 2: And would you join one of those hands and just
[42:40] Speaker 2: lift it like you're ready to receive.
[42:41] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[42:43] Speaker 2: Father, today, I just thank you that we're coming to
[42:47] Speaker 2: you vulnerably, humbly, and we're repenting, we're turning, and we're
[42:53] Speaker 2: saying God, forgive us for being committed to our distraction more.
[43:00] Speaker 3: Than we have been committed to your instructions. Today we
[43:05] Speaker 3: turn back to you.
[43:08] Speaker 2: Whatever you tell us to do, we shall do whatever
[43:11] Speaker 2: you say that we need to do. We will be obedient, Father,
[43:15] Speaker 2: even if we're in the dark. Right now, we don't
[43:17] Speaker 2: feel like we could hear you speak, Lord, because your servants,
[43:21] Speaker 2: your sons and daughters are listening. Father. We need more
[43:24] Speaker 2: than what's happening right now, and today we know we
[43:27] Speaker 2: can't do it without you.
[43:29] Speaker 3: God, let us be comfortable with the uncomfortable. Father. Some
[43:33] Speaker 3: of us have been so familiar with our.
[43:35] Speaker 2: Delilahs and our distractions, Father God, that we don't even
[43:37] Speaker 2: know who we are without them. But today I thank
[43:40] Speaker 2: you for giving us a brand new identity. Yeah, that
[43:43] Speaker 2: we can let go of relationships that have nothing for us,
[43:46] Speaker 2: Father and actually live in freedom. That we can, Father, God,
[43:50] Speaker 2: take our careers that have not.
[43:52] Speaker 3: Been serving us, but been running us.
[43:55] Speaker 2: God, we can put them in their proper perspective.
[43:57] Speaker 3: God.
[43:58] Speaker 2: Today we are saying there is no one else else
[44:00] Speaker 2: that we will focus on more than You, And so
[44:02] Speaker 2: today we look to you. Thank You that today will
[44:06] Speaker 2: be a line of demarcation, because we will not let
[44:10] Speaker 2: our distraction steal our vision Another day. Hell us, redeem us,
[44:21] Speaker 2: refocus us, and I just declare, Father God, that everybody
[44:25] Speaker 2: that's making this decision there will be divine help that
[44:29] Speaker 2: comes to their every day life. Father, your Holy Spirit
[44:32] Speaker 2: is not just for a church experience.
[44:34] Speaker 3: It is actually for how we live in the streets.
[44:37] Speaker 3: So God, I thank you.
[44:38] Speaker 2: That tomorrow and today and the rest of this week
[44:40] Speaker 2: and the rest of this year, Father, you will allow
[44:42] Speaker 2: us to walk and focus.
[44:44] Speaker 3: We will hear you. Since you Father, it will be
[44:46] Speaker 3: so detailed.
[44:46] Speaker 2: You'll be able to say, don't go there, and we
[44:48] Speaker 2: will listen and obey. You'll be able to say, stop
[44:50] Speaker 2: talking to them, and you will will listen and obey.
[44:53] Speaker 3: You will be able to say.
[44:54] Speaker 2: Father, God, sit and wait on me, will wait on you.
[45:01] Speaker 2: Do what work on the inside of us.
[45:02] Speaker 3: As our prayer.
[45:05] Speaker 2: Now for anybody in here in the same attitude, because
[45:07] Speaker 2: God's doing heart surgery right now. If you're in this room,
[45:11] Speaker 2: if you've never accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and savior, I.
[45:14] Speaker 3: Don't care who you are. I don't care if you're.
[45:16] Speaker 2: A producer from Hollywood, and I don't care if you
[45:18] Speaker 2: came out of here off the street.
[45:20] Speaker 3: Today is your day of salvation.
[45:23] Speaker 2: God has divinely orchestrated all of these moments to get
[45:26] Speaker 2: you to this moment right here. And I don't want
[45:28] Speaker 2: nothing for you. I want everything for I don't want
[45:31] Speaker 2: anything from you. I want everything for you. I want
[45:33] Speaker 2: you to experience the freedom that comes when you surrender
[45:36] Speaker 2: your life to Jesus.
[45:37] Speaker 3: And it's very simple.
[45:38] Speaker 2: According to Romans ten nine, it said as if you
[45:41] Speaker 2: confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that
[45:44] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ is Lord, you.
[45:45] Speaker 3: Will be saved. Is that it? Yeah, there's some other
[45:48] Speaker 3: things that you're gonna have to.
[45:49] Speaker 2: Go through to actually get your life in line with that.
[45:53] Speaker 2: But I'm telling you your name will be written in
[45:56] Speaker 2: the Lamb's Book of Life.
[45:57] Speaker 3: If you're watching online or you're in this room, I'm.
[46:01] Speaker 2: Telling you right now today, God wants to transform your life.
[46:07] Speaker 3: On the count of three.
[46:08] Speaker 2: If that's you, and there will be multiple people, there's
[46:11] Speaker 2: hands already going up.
[46:12] Speaker 3: I just want you to throw your hand in the air.
[46:14] Speaker 2: One, you're making the greatest decision of your life.

[46:17] Speaker 2: But your name is gonna be written in the Lamb's
