Distraction doesn’t always come in the form of something obvious—it can be hidden in the details. In Week 7 of Death to Distraction, Pastor Michael Todd showed us how focusing too much on the details can pull us away from trusting God’s process.Using the journey of the Israelites in Exodus 13-16, we saw how God led them the long way on purpose, not as punishment, but for development. Sometimes, what feels like a detour is actually part of God’s divine design. But when we fixate on the details of drought, desire, or delay, we can easily become distracted from His direction. How many details do you need before you obey?We pray this message helps you shift from distraction to devotion and trust that when God leads, He provides. [0:02] Speaker 1: Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to
[0:06] Speaker 1: the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
[0:09] Speaker 1: glad you're here and wherever you're listening from, we believe
[0:12] Speaker 1: God will transform your life.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Do today's message, Get out your notepads and your phones
[0:23] Speaker 2: and your iPads, and this one you're gonna want to
[0:25] Speaker 2: take a lot of notes on, cause I only got
[0:29] Speaker 2: two more weeks left in this series. I got this
[0:31] Speaker 2: week and I got next week, and that's gonna be
[0:34] Speaker 2: eight weeks total of us talking about elimiting eliminating distraction.
[0:40] Speaker 2: It's going to be eight weeks of God specifically talking
[0:44] Speaker 2: to us through his word and telling us to do
[0:46] Speaker 2: one word, which is the word of the year.
[0:48] Speaker 3: Help me say it. Focus.
[0:51] Speaker 2: How many people since we started this series have found
[0:54] Speaker 2: that in your life there's been areas where it's been
[0:56] Speaker 2: hard to focus? Come on, multiple areas. Come on, somebody, yeah,
[1:02] Speaker 2: uh huh, this is in two hands. Anytime God gives
[1:08] Speaker 2: a prophetic word for you to do something, it's because
[1:11] Speaker 2: he sees the future and some of us are coming
[1:17] Speaker 2: into new seasons where God is requiring another level of
[1:22] Speaker 2: devotion to him, and what that comes out to being
[1:26] Speaker 2: is We're going to have to eliminate distractions and focus
[1:30] Speaker 2: on Him. And so today I'm going to read Hebrews
[1:34] Speaker 2: twelve one and two, which is our scripture of the year,
[1:37] Speaker 2: and I'm praying that every time that I read this scripture,
[1:40] Speaker 2: there will be something that illuminates in your heart and
[1:43] Speaker 2: becomes revelation for you as I as I begin to
[1:46] Speaker 2: unfold what God is saying to us today, I want
[1:49] Speaker 2: to pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened.
[1:55] Speaker 2: I want to pray that you don't just hear me,
[1:56] Speaker 2: you hear him. I just want to pray that you
[2:00] Speaker 2: don't think this is a sermon for thirty five to
[2:02] Speaker 2: forty minutes. You think it's an actual blueprint of how
[2:06] Speaker 2: you're supposed to live this week. So can we pray? Father,
[2:09] Speaker 2: I thank you that you are here in this place,
[2:14] Speaker 2: and you are with every person that is listening, whether
[2:16] Speaker 2: they're listening on rebroadcast or podcast or in the room
[2:21] Speaker 2: while somebody else is watching. Today, Father, we are asking
[2:24] Speaker 2: for you to speak. It is my words audibly, it's
[2:29] Speaker 2: your words spiritually, and I thank you for hitting the
[2:33] Speaker 2: souls of your people. Speak. Lord, Your sons and daughters
[2:37] Speaker 2: are listening, and Father, I thank you for the Holy
[2:41] Speaker 2: Spirit that's in this room giving the cliff notes to
[2:45] Speaker 2: their life, to each person individually, I thank you. That
[2:49] Speaker 2: is not just me speaking, You speaking to them right now.
[2:52] Speaker 2: So illuminate, correct, encourage, comfort who you've always been tag
[3:01] Speaker 2: team back again in Jesus' name, We agree, Amen. Hebrews
[3:05] Speaker 2: twelve one. It says, therefore, since we have been surrounded
[3:09] Speaker 2: by such a great cloud of witness, let us star
[3:12] Speaker 2: off everything, every weight that hinders us or slows us down,
[3:18] Speaker 2: especially the sin that so easily entangles us. I just
[3:23] Speaker 2: always gotta stop here. Weights can trip you up, and
[3:27] Speaker 2: sin can trip you up. I want to be very
[3:31] Speaker 2: clear that the only reason you tripping is not sin.
[3:37] Speaker 2: Sometimes you're tripping over stuff that was not meant for
[3:41] Speaker 2: you to carry in the season you're carrying it. So
[3:45] Speaker 2: I just want to be clear. Everything not the devil.
[3:48] Speaker 2: Some of it is your willingness or unwillingness to let
[3:52] Speaker 2: go of old baggage, the weight that you are under.
[3:59] Speaker 3: Maybe men factured.
[4:02] Speaker 2: You might have picked it up thinking that it was
[4:04] Speaker 2: fashionable for your next season. But it's the very thing
[4:09] Speaker 2: that will keep you out of what God has for you.
[4:11] Speaker 2: I don't know who needed to hear that, but some
[4:14] Speaker 2: of y'all need to drop these bags off, okay, it said,
[4:20] Speaker 2: and let us run with perseverance the race marked out
[4:24] Speaker 2: for us. Somebody say, I got a race and I'm
[4:26] Speaker 2: gonna run it. How are you gonna run it? Fixing
[4:30] Speaker 2: our eyes? Somebody say, focus focus on Jesus. Fix your
[4:36] Speaker 2: eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and the perfector of my faith,
[4:40] Speaker 2: for the joy that was set before him. He endured
[4:43] Speaker 2: the cross, scorning its shame and set down at the
[4:46] Speaker 2: right hand of the throne of God.
[4:48] Speaker 3: Write this point down.
[4:49] Speaker 2: Fixing your eyes on Jesus gives you the faith to focus.
[4:55] Speaker 2: What does Jesus say about money? What does Jesus say
[4:59] Speaker 2: about relationship? What does Jesus say about anger? What does
[5:04] Speaker 2: Jesus say about forgiveness? Not what did your great uncle
[5:08] Speaker 2: Bobo say about forgiveness? So so many times we use
[5:12] Speaker 2: our cultural teaching as a blueprint, or our family line,
[5:18] Speaker 2: or our our the way we were raised, and we
[5:23] Speaker 2: put it in substitute of what God's word says. And
[5:26] Speaker 2: today I'm asking everybody to elevate the words of Jesus
[5:31] Speaker 2: above whatever you have believed, been taught and have said
[5:36] Speaker 2: this is just me because until you don't, until you
[5:40] Speaker 2: do that, there will be something in your life that
[5:43] Speaker 2: is very, very very easily distracted.
[5:47] Speaker 3: Okay, So today I was torn about what I was.
[5:50] Speaker 2: Going to call this message because I wanted to call
[5:53] Speaker 2: it distracted by the detour? Because how many people have
[5:58] Speaker 2: ever been on a detour in your life? One that
[6:04] Speaker 2: you chose, come on, somebody's like I ain't choose, and
[6:10] Speaker 2: one that was presented to you. How many people in
[6:13] Speaker 2: this room like detours. What happens to your attitude when
[6:18] Speaker 2: detours become your reality? Come on, does anybody like, oh
[6:24] Speaker 2: my god, detour feels great, excited about it? Don't worry
[6:31] Speaker 2: be thirty minutes late, called a detour. Most of us,
[6:38] Speaker 2: the detour eats us alive because you just got out
[6:42] Speaker 2: the house in just enough time to have to catch
[6:46] Speaker 2: two lights on gree y'all know, y'all be playing it
[6:49] Speaker 2: if I catch that fifty first light and then then
[6:51] Speaker 2: I'll turn around the coffee shop and I'll go to
[6:53] Speaker 2: back way you have planned precisely. But at the moment
[7:02] Speaker 2: there's a detour, something happens to our attitude at the
[7:08] Speaker 2: moment we hit a detour. Many times the detour becomes
[7:13] Speaker 2: the distraction to our destination.
[7:17] Speaker 3: Think about it.
[7:19] Speaker 2: How many times have we been going somewhere and now
[7:21] Speaker 2: by the time you get there, you mad and don't
[7:23] Speaker 2: even want to be there. Okay, y'all, gonna leave me
[7:27] Speaker 2: out here by myself, headed somewhere. Took you the wrong way,
[7:33] Speaker 2: the long way. You took a wrong turn. Don't do
[7:35] Speaker 2: it in Dallas, you miss a you miss one turn
[7:41] Speaker 2: in the DFW, Go home, just go home. Whoever just
[7:47] Speaker 2: signed Dallas for worth was just we We see we
[7:53] Speaker 2: reci day y'all. Anybody does being know what I'm talking about? Okay, y'all,
[8:00] Speaker 2: where are we going? And what ends up happening is
[8:07] Speaker 2: the detour exposes something on the inside of us that
[8:12] Speaker 2: usually leads us to a distraction that makes us forfeit
[8:15] Speaker 2: something at our destiny. So you went to meet somebody,
[8:20] Speaker 2: but now your attitude's all out of whack. So the
[8:22] Speaker 2: meeting that was supposed to be about collaboration is jacked
[8:25] Speaker 2: up because the detour took away your joy. And what
[8:32] Speaker 2: I've found out about our God through reading scriptures, God
[8:38] Speaker 2: likes detours. I got too many examples in the word
[8:48] Speaker 2: where God straight up tells people this ain't the easiest
[8:51] Speaker 2: way to go. I'm gonna purposely take you on a detour.
[9:01] Speaker 2: I'm purposely let you know them and not let that
[9:05] Speaker 2: be the connection that gets you there. Yeah, you grew
[9:09] Speaker 2: up with them, but that ain't the plug because I
[9:11] Speaker 2: am I know, I know your cousin could call the
[9:17] Speaker 2: one person who has everything you need. No cause if
[9:27] Speaker 2: I do it like that, you won't be even ready
[9:30] Speaker 2: to handle what's over there, and you'll think that it
[9:34] Speaker 2: was your association that got you there instead of the anointing.
[9:38] Speaker 2: And so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to
[9:41] Speaker 2: take you on a Now, how does your attitude look
[9:46] Speaker 2: when God takes you on a detour?
[9:50] Speaker 3: I would say for most.
[9:52] Speaker 2: Of us, it looks about the same frustrated, pouting, mad, doubting, complaining.
[10:02] Speaker 2: Come on, let's be honest in here. I was supposed
[10:05] Speaker 2: to be married by now, I'm supposed to be living
[10:08] Speaker 2: in that neighborhood. And every time you pass the neighborhood,
[10:10] Speaker 2: you're looking at those people in the gate, like, come on,
[10:14] Speaker 2: y'all can't even celebrate when other people win it because
[10:20] Speaker 2: the detour has sent you into a place of doubt
[10:25] Speaker 2: that maybe somehow God forgot about me, and maybe somehow
[10:29] Speaker 2: God didn't speak to me and didn't deliver me and
[10:32] Speaker 2: didn't bring me into this place. Why am I still
[10:36] Speaker 2: on this road and I can even see where I'm
[10:39] Speaker 2: supposed to be? You ever been on one of those
[10:43] Speaker 2: service roads that they do in construction and I was
[10:47] Speaker 2: supposed to be over there today? I would like to
[10:55] Speaker 2: introduce you to the concept that the detour might be designed,
[11:02] Speaker 2: and I would like you to potentially take a different
[11:06] Speaker 2: perspective on how you approach a detour, not that was
[11:11] Speaker 2: given by our foolishness. All detours ain't made the same.
[11:16] Speaker 2: Some of your details is because you really just dumb,
[11:20] Speaker 2: or excuse me, some of your detours it's because we
[11:22] Speaker 2: were just acting dumb. Y'all. Ever been in a relationship
[11:30] Speaker 2: that you knew was dumb from the beginning. You knew
[11:35] Speaker 2: when you typed out his name and your phone this
[11:39] Speaker 2: is a detour. You should have put him in the
[11:41] Speaker 2: phone as detour. Have you ever started a business or
[11:48] Speaker 2: worked out a job and you knew, like, why am
[11:51] Speaker 2: I doing this? But do do? Do? And you just All
[11:57] Speaker 2: detours are not made the same. But I am saying
[11:59] Speaker 2: there are some detours that you're following God, that you're
[12:04] Speaker 2: listening to his voice, that he's leading you, and he
[12:10] Speaker 2: still decides to take you on a journey that was
[12:14] Speaker 2: outside of what you thought. You watch this deserved. See
[12:21] Speaker 2: the problem with it is you don't think you deserve
[12:24] Speaker 2: the detour. Somehow, You thought because you give and because
[12:29] Speaker 2: you tie and because you read your word, that God's
[12:32] Speaker 2: always gonna take you the easy route. But when he
[12:36] Speaker 2: takes you the easy route, you end up at the place.
[12:40] Speaker 2: Watch this underdeveloped and the reason why most Christians are
[12:45] Speaker 2: deconstructing their faith and why they can fall by somebody
[12:49] Speaker 2: just batting their eyes at them, and why money they
[12:51] Speaker 2: get one hundred thousand dollars and now they're gone, They
[12:54] Speaker 2: are gone on the patron. They don't listen no more.
[12:57] Speaker 2: They can't hear, y'all hear what I'm saying. The reason
[12:59] Speaker 2: is because they were under development. And most of the
[13:04] Speaker 2: things that distract us is not because they're available. It's
[13:07] Speaker 2: because our character is not able to withstand them. And
[13:12] Speaker 2: so God many times takes us on detour to develop us. Okay,
[13:17] Speaker 2: y'all looking at me crazy, write it down. Many times
[13:21] Speaker 2: the detour is a part of God's divine design. I'm
[13:26] Speaker 2: gonna prove it to you with an Old Testament story
[13:29] Speaker 2: of the children of Israel, God's chosen people. You're talking
[13:35] Speaker 2: about the first people that God chose. It was God
[13:38] Speaker 2: chose Israel. He said, this is gonna be my people.
[13:42] Speaker 2: But because of their disobedience, they were put into four
[13:45] Speaker 2: hundred years of slavery because they was being done. Now,
[13:51] Speaker 2: I just want to let you know, God watch this
[13:53] Speaker 2: will sometimes allow your ignorance to be the thing that
[13:57] Speaker 2: puts you in captivity. Nobody wants to hear this, but
[14:03] Speaker 2: you keep playing with the stuff He told you was
[14:05] Speaker 2: a distraction. And what he does is he says, all right,
[14:10] Speaker 2: it's been my hand protecting you this whole time. You
[14:12] Speaker 2: don't want me to be your God. You don't want
[14:14] Speaker 2: to listen to what's happening. I'm not making it happen
[14:17] Speaker 2: to you. I've been holding it back the whole time.
[14:19] Speaker 2: But if this is what you.
[14:20] Speaker 3: Want, I'm still here.
[14:24] Speaker 2: I never leave you or forsake you. You can still
[14:27] Speaker 2: call out to me and I hear you, but I'm
[14:30] Speaker 2: not blocking consequences. When you continue to make that your
[14:33] Speaker 2: God okay. Exodus thirteen, verse seventeen. These people were slaves
[14:44] Speaker 2: for four hundred years. Moses comes as a deliverer when
[14:49] Speaker 2: Pharaoh finally let the people go. God, who did it?
[14:54] Speaker 2: I said, who did it? God did not lead them
[14:58] Speaker 2: along the main road that runs through Philistine territory, even
[15:04] Speaker 2: though that was the shortest route to the promised land.
[15:10] Speaker 2: God said, watch this. This is the reason. If the
[15:14] Speaker 2: people went the shortest route, the easiest route, the route
[15:17] Speaker 2: with least resistance, and they were faced with the battle,
[15:22] Speaker 2: they might change their mind and return back to what
[15:25] Speaker 2: I delivered them from. The reason why God's taken you
[15:32] Speaker 2: away that is not conventional. It's to build something in
[15:37] Speaker 2: you that will be concrete, he said, Because if I
[15:41] Speaker 2: don't do it this way, you're gonna return back to
[15:45] Speaker 2: the thing that you prayed I delivered you from God.
[15:48] Speaker 3: Lea, So write this point down.
[15:52] Speaker 2: When God's not in it, the shortcut is short lived.
[15:58] Speaker 2: I just want you to realize that these people are
[16:01] Speaker 2: led by God. Bye. Who come on, y'all gotta talk
[16:04] Speaker 2: back to me, Bye who They were led by God
[16:08] Speaker 2: a long way, Because when God is not leading you,
[16:11] Speaker 2: the shortcut is short lived. Cause i'boke, what are you saying?
[16:15] Speaker 2: There was a battle. Either way, it was either gonna
[16:18] Speaker 2: be mental and emotional following God's way, or it's gonna
[16:21] Speaker 2: be with the Philistines. Take you the short way, you're
[16:25] Speaker 2: probably gonna die. Take you the long way, you're gonna
[16:28] Speaker 2: have to kill your flesh. Okay, I'm gonna say it
[16:31] Speaker 2: again because some of y'all missed it. If I take
[16:34] Speaker 2: you the short way, that.
[16:36] Speaker 3: Thing is probably gonna kill you.
[16:39] Speaker 2: If I take you the long way, you're gonna have
[16:41] Speaker 2: to continue to kill your flesh. God's in one and
[16:50] Speaker 2: God's not in the other one. You choose. The truth
[16:57] Speaker 2: of the matter is, if we really look at it,
[16:59] Speaker 2: the way was protection. I just want you to think
[17:04] Speaker 2: about your situation right now. Why I've been doing this
[17:07] Speaker 2: fourteen years and by now somebody should be recognizing my greatness.
[17:11] Speaker 2: And I know God told me to do this, and
[17:13] Speaker 2: I know God told me to do that, and I
[17:15] Speaker 2: know God he said it, but maybe he didn't because
[17:18] Speaker 2: now by this time, I mean by my calculations, he
[17:21] Speaker 2: should have probably. And what you don't know is six
[17:29] Speaker 2: six years ago the short way, something would have happened
[17:33] Speaker 2: to rob you of your confidence.
[17:36] Speaker 3: And this is the thing about walking by faith.
[17:41] Speaker 2: You do know what you get to see, but you
[17:43] Speaker 2: don't know what you get to avoid. If we could
[17:49] Speaker 2: all get to see what we avoided by trusting God,
[17:52] Speaker 2: most of us we would have a different attitude about
[17:54] Speaker 2: doing it. But this is why it's walking by faith,
[17:58] Speaker 2: because He says, go this way, and you complain about
[18:00] Speaker 2: something you don't know. It's World War crazy over here, okay,
[18:06] Speaker 2: verse eighteen. So God let them, oh my God, the
[18:11] Speaker 2: roundabout way he did the Dallas fort Worth Highway on
[18:14] Speaker 2: these people. So God led them the George W. Bush Way,
[18:21] Speaker 2: through the through the wilderness, towards the Red Sea. Which
[18:27] Speaker 2: why would you even why would you even lead me
[18:29] Speaker 2: towards something I can't even get across. You're leading me
[18:34] Speaker 2: towards something by my own standards. Why are you doing
[18:36] Speaker 2: these loofty loops with me? God? Why was I the
[18:40] Speaker 2: manager and then I was the workker, and then I
[18:42] Speaker 2: was a supervisor, and then I was unemployed. Now you
[18:47] Speaker 2: want me to be an entrepreneur, but now you want
[18:49] Speaker 2: me to get my time away and then you want
[18:51] Speaker 2: me to hear at the church. What's this loofty loop
[18:56] Speaker 2: you keep doing to me? He said, Thus Israelites left
[19:00] Speaker 2: Egypt like an army ready for battle. Write this point down,
[19:05] Speaker 2: and this really resonated in my heart as God gave
[19:07] Speaker 2: it to me. God's love takes us the long way.
[19:13] Speaker 2: It's his love that takes us the long way. It's
[19:17] Speaker 2: his love for us that makes us actually have to
[19:20] Speaker 2: go to counsel and talk about the things that happened
[19:22] Speaker 2: to us when we.
[19:23] Speaker 3: Were four years old. While I'm forty, it don't matter
[19:26] Speaker 3: no more.
[19:26] Speaker 2: That four year old still comes out every day, the
[19:31] Speaker 2: one that wasn't heard. That's why your kids can't get
[19:33] Speaker 2: a word in because you never got to talk. So
[19:36] Speaker 2: you're gonna make sure you use up all the words,
[19:38] Speaker 2: which is now perpetuating a generational pattern. And they gonna
[19:41] Speaker 2: be somewhere saying, my mama never let me talk, and
[19:43] Speaker 2: it's just gonna be the same thing, and God saying,
[19:45] Speaker 2: let me take you the long way. Come on over here,
[19:51] Speaker 2: let me help you go back and grab some things
[19:54] Speaker 2: and deal with some things and take some things away.
[20:00] Speaker 2: That's one of y'all couples is trying to go on
[20:01] Speaker 2: a honeymoon after this. I know, I know, Oh really, everybody,
[20:05] Speaker 2: everybody trying to go on a honeymoon after this. What's
[20:08] Speaker 2: y'all's name right there in the back right there? Yeah,
[20:10] Speaker 2: what's y'all's name? Carrying? Kevin and Mary? Okay, y'all stand
[20:14] Speaker 2: up for me? All right, listen, I want you to
[20:16] Speaker 2: come to the stage, but I just need you to
[20:18] Speaker 2: trust me and listen to what I'm saying. Okay, So
[20:20] Speaker 2: I want you to come this way and the stairs
[20:22] Speaker 2: to the stages over here, but actually I want you
[20:25] Speaker 2: to go right here and yeah, come on.
[20:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, walk with some urgency. Your shoes are nice, and then.
[20:32] Speaker 2: The hold on, hold on, hold on, hold and wait
[20:33] Speaker 2: wait wait, I know it would be easy to go
[20:35] Speaker 2: this way, but could you just go up the stairs
[20:38] Speaker 2: right there? Could you just? Yeah, just go up the stairs. Now,
[20:41] Speaker 2: help her up?
[20:41] Speaker 3: Now, she's in a beautiful dress.
[20:43] Speaker 2: Help her up. Okay, yeah, just go up the stairs.
[20:46] Speaker 2: Everybody's watching you too, all right, y'all. Stop y'all, y'all stop, stop,
[20:55] Speaker 2: stop stop, Will y'all come back down the stairs?
[21:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, that didn't make sense.
[21:02] Speaker 2: Stop. Does somebody have something for them right there?
[21:07] Speaker 3: Nobody has something for them?
[21:08] Speaker 2: Oh you have something for them right there? Yeah?
[21:11] Speaker 3: What they say that say?
[21:13] Speaker 2: One hundred dollars. Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool, Yeah, keep
[21:16] Speaker 2: walking down here. I want you to come to the platform.
[21:20] Speaker 2: What I desire for you to do is come to
[21:22] Speaker 2: the platform. But I just need you to trust me.
[21:26] Speaker 2: Keep coming back towards your seat. Come back towards your seat.
[21:33] Speaker 2: I know everybody's looking at y'all. Y'll, y'all know that,
[21:35] Speaker 2: right Hey, hey, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, don't go
[21:37] Speaker 2: back to your seat and look at him, he said,
[21:38] Speaker 2: woman stop, y'all gotta see a good man, he said,
[21:42] Speaker 2: woman stop. I think there's a point to this message.
[21:51] Speaker 2: But would y'all just kind of walk this way and
[21:53] Speaker 2: walk close to these people right here? Yeah? And yeah, yeah,
[21:57] Speaker 2: Now just go go towards the bat woman. Hey stop, stop, stop,
[22:02] Speaker 2: suttu stotsot talk. I think somebody has something for you
[22:05] Speaker 2: right there. Yeah, now walk, what'd I say? Another one
[22:09] Speaker 2: hundred dollars? Okay, now walk walk walk down there by
[22:13] Speaker 2: the robotic camera over there, And I just want to
[22:16] Speaker 2: inform y'all everybody's watching y'all. Make a left at the
[22:21] Speaker 2: woman with the jean jacket. Yeah, just make a left.
[22:24] Speaker 2: Come on. Yeah. The goal is to get to the
[22:26] Speaker 2: promised land of this platform and it don't make no
[22:32] Speaker 2: sense that they way back there. Hey y'all stop, Could
[22:37] Speaker 2: y'all grab each other and do a little dance right there? Hey? Hey, hey, hey,
[22:45] Speaker 2: that's beautiful. All right, stop stop, I think somebody has
[22:47] Speaker 2: something for you right there. You got something for them
[22:49] Speaker 2: real quick? Yeah, see, hold on, hold on, hold on,
[22:52] Speaker 2: hold on, hold on. At every stop, there's provision at
[23:00] Speaker 2: every moment you obey God, there's something you didn't even
[23:04] Speaker 2: know what's there? Waying? Would y'all come back the way
[23:08] Speaker 2: y'all already came, and some of y'all like, dang, this
[23:13] Speaker 2: is a long example. Your life is long too. Were
[23:19] Speaker 2: three minutes in and you thirty five years in not
[23:22] Speaker 2: obeying God? Yeah, come on? They ready, Hey listen, they
[23:27] Speaker 2: ready to stop anytime they like they prancing up here.
[23:33] Speaker 2: Come this way, Come this way, Come this way, Come
[23:34] Speaker 2: this way, come this way. I want you to come
[23:37] Speaker 2: to the platform. The reason I did this whole thing
[23:42] Speaker 2: is because I needed them to be an example of
[23:45] Speaker 2: what I believe God wants to do in our life.
[23:49] Speaker 3: He wants us to trust him. Yeah, yeah, come on
[23:50] Speaker 3: up here.
[23:51] Speaker 2: He wants us to trust him, and when you trust him,
[23:55] Speaker 2: he blesses you. On the way. But then there was
[23:58] Speaker 2: a promise that was worth every thing you went through,
[24:02] Speaker 2: that He's ready to give to you. But this is
[24:03] Speaker 2: the thing, what did you have to do? Listen? All
[24:08] Speaker 2: you had to do was what listen and obey. There
[24:14] Speaker 2: was no other requirement of them than to listen and do.
[24:19] Speaker 3: But yes, it was roundabout.
[24:21] Speaker 2: Yes, I could have gone from there to there, But
[24:24] Speaker 2: what would have happened is they wouldn't have gained the
[24:27] Speaker 2: faith to trust that at every stop God was going
[24:31] Speaker 2: to provide. And I'm just believing that this was a
[24:34] Speaker 2: prophetic sign for y'all's life, y'all's marriage, what God's gonna
[24:38] Speaker 2: do in you and through you, Church, I need you
[24:40] Speaker 2: to give God some place right now, every stop of
[24:44] Speaker 2: the way, Listen and obey. I love y'all so much,
[24:47] Speaker 2: God bless you all right? All right, all right, that's
[24:51] Speaker 2: a beautiful example. Will you live it? Because it was
[24:58] Speaker 2: God's love that took the children of Israel the long way.
[25:03] Speaker 2: And see, many of us we want full disclosure. We
[25:06] Speaker 2: want to know all the things we need to do
[25:09] Speaker 2: and should do. And God wants watch this full devotion.
[25:13] Speaker 2: You want full disclosure. God wants full devotion. I want
[25:20] Speaker 2: to know all the details. God says, I want you
[25:22] Speaker 2: to trust me. I need to know what happens next.
[25:27] Speaker 2: God says, I need you to keep stepping without instructions.
[25:31] Speaker 2: I'm trying to give you all the formula, because the
[25:34] Speaker 2: Christian life becomes a disaster for people who have to
[25:37] Speaker 2: have all of the details. And that's why I couldn't
[25:42] Speaker 2: name the message, the distraction of the detour. God said,
[25:48] Speaker 2: the problem, Michael is the details. He said, because when
[25:52] Speaker 2: God takes you the long way, it makes you frustrated.
[25:57] Speaker 3: So you start asking questions.
[26:00] Speaker 2: And when you start asking questions, you start asking questions
[26:03] Speaker 2: about details that you don't even need to know. And
[26:08] Speaker 2: because you start asking questions about details you don't need
[26:10] Speaker 2: to know, you think you have the right to stop obeying,
[26:14] Speaker 2: or stop moving, or stop moving forward because you haven't
[26:17] Speaker 2: got the answers you want yet. And this is where
[26:22] Speaker 2: many people under the sound of my voice are today.
[26:24] Speaker 2: They are distracted by the details. This is what happened
[26:30] Speaker 2: to the children of Israel. God delivers them from four
[26:34] Speaker 2: hundred years of slavery. They great, great, great greats were
[26:39] Speaker 2: in the same position. God sends Moses and Aaron. They
[26:43] Speaker 2: get delivered He literally walks two million people through a
[26:48] Speaker 2: dry land of an ocean. This mug is split open,
[26:53] Speaker 2: whales on this side, octopuses on this side, and they
[26:56] Speaker 2: walking through at the and then they get out of
[27:01] Speaker 2: this place. It's the long way. And instead of rejoicing,
[27:08] Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, I don't have to be in slavery
[27:11] Speaker 2: no more. I'm not addicted to that anymore. I'm not
[27:15] Speaker 2: chained by that anymore, what did they start doing? I mean,
[27:23] Speaker 2: if God was gonna deliver us, I mean, couldn't he
[27:30] Speaker 2: couldn't he have done it a different way? If God was.
[27:35] Speaker 3: Gonna, you know what I'm saying.
[27:37] Speaker 2: Take us out of where we were, it could have
[27:40] Speaker 2: felt like a an upgrade, you know, like I didn't.
[27:45] Speaker 2: Is this what y'all was expecting? Was this? This is
[27:47] Speaker 2: what y'all was expecting? Because I was expecting He had
[27:49] Speaker 2: already promised him to promise land, but he was trying
[27:53] Speaker 2: to get something out of them and get something into them.
[27:58] Speaker 3: I'm not talking about a fictional story.
[28:00] Speaker 2: I'm saying that anybody that's in a detour right now,
[28:03] Speaker 2: the reasons God puts you in a detail he or
[28:06] Speaker 2: or a detour, He puts you in that place so
[28:09] Speaker 2: that he can develop something and delete something. And many
[28:15] Speaker 2: of us are fighting what God wants to develop and delete.
[28:19] Speaker 2: And the reason he does this is because he knows
[28:22] Speaker 2: the version of you that you are right now cannot
[28:24] Speaker 2: sustain in the Promised Land. So he said, I gotta
[28:27] Speaker 2: develop this in you, I gotta delete this. And how
[28:30] Speaker 2: does God always start that with a disruption? Many of
[28:35] Speaker 2: you are praying that your life stays comfortable, and when
[28:39] Speaker 2: God disrupts, you act like everything going wrong. Some of
[28:42] Speaker 2: y else should start shouting when disruptions happened, because he
[28:45] Speaker 2: was like, oh shoot, oh suit, God is about to
[28:49] Speaker 2: take something I don't need for the Promised Land, and
[28:51] Speaker 2: he's about to give me something my d need for
[28:53] Speaker 2: the Promised Land. That break up, ah suit, He disrupted
[28:58] Speaker 2: my plan. That means that God, don't take away these
[29:00] Speaker 2: negative thoughts and habits that I have and give me
[29:03] Speaker 2: the people that I do need.
[29:06] Speaker 3: Y'all missed it.
[29:08] Speaker 2: I'm gonna start calling y'all the children of Israel. For
[29:15] Speaker 2: the children of Israel, he was trying to disrupt the
[29:18] Speaker 2: depression that they were in. He was trying to develop
[29:22] Speaker 2: their dependence on God, and he was trying to delete
[29:26] Speaker 2: the mindset of depravity in despair. What do you look
[29:31] Speaker 2: like going into a land flowing with milk and honey,
[29:34] Speaker 2: but you still have a poverty mindset? God said, y'all
[29:41] Speaker 2: would turn the blessing into a reason.
[29:44] Speaker 3: To kill each other.
[29:46] Speaker 2: So I gotta develop this poor, broken mentality out of you,
[29:52] Speaker 2: because I'm sending to a land that has just flows.
[29:55] Speaker 2: And I need you to develop generosity, and I need
[29:58] Speaker 2: you to develop, and I need you to learn how
[30:01] Speaker 2: to tell the truth, and I need you to know
[30:02] Speaker 2: how to follow my instructions. That's why God took us
[30:06] Speaker 2: the long way.
[30:10] Speaker 3: What happened to the children of Israel?
[30:13] Speaker 2: They got caught up in the details, And I wish
[30:18] Speaker 2: I could have just gone and told all of them
[30:20] Speaker 2: before the Promised Land, there's always a process, whatever you're
[30:26] Speaker 2: believing God for, there'll always be a process before the
[30:29] Speaker 2: Promised Land. And some of y'all are like, Okay, I
[30:31] Speaker 2: know that I hear what I'm saying to you, So
[30:33] Speaker 2: why are you so distracted by the details. Why did
[30:39] Speaker 2: you stop writing the book because you don't have a publisher.
[30:43] Speaker 2: He told you to write the book, He didn't tell
[30:45] Speaker 2: you how it was gonna come out. Okay, he didn't
[30:49] Speaker 2: tell you who was gonna fund it. He told you
[30:51] Speaker 2: to write it. We don't got nothing to fund yet.
[30:55] Speaker 2: Some of y'all be so bent on how it's gonna happen,
[30:57] Speaker 2: and you ain't even done the thing you can do.
[31:02] Speaker 2: Why no, I'm supposed to open a restaurant.
[31:03] Speaker 3: You don't cook for your kids.
[31:04] Speaker 2: What I'm telling you, Oh, tell let me say, let
[31:09] Speaker 2: me all I'm saying. All I'm saying is you don't
[31:13] Speaker 2: even practice no more. Y'all. Y'all got what I'm saying
[31:17] Speaker 2: like they gonna judge me when I'm a fitness influencer. Baby,
[31:21] Speaker 2: we got some years to go. Did you.
[31:26] Speaker 3: Let me stay on?
[31:28] Speaker 2: But how many times has God said something and then
[31:32] Speaker 2: we watched this? We use a detail as an excuse
[31:35] Speaker 2: to disobey. We use a detail, not that he just
[31:43] Speaker 2: delivered us, not that we just walked through a sea,
[31:48] Speaker 2: not that Granny Momo made it too. We didn't know
[31:53] Speaker 2: she could walk that far. She made it, y'all, all
[31:58] Speaker 2: the things we could, folks, He's someone, you know what
[32:02] Speaker 2: they focused on? It's dry out here? Why so dry?
[32:16] Speaker 2: Is anybody else thirsty? Anybody parched? My question to everybody
[32:24] Speaker 2: I want you to write this down. I really want
[32:25] Speaker 2: you to think about it. How many details do you
[32:28] Speaker 2: need to obey God? The truth of the matter is,
[32:37] Speaker 2: when I researched this in my own heart, and I'm
[32:39] Speaker 2: not saying this about you, but there's no amount of
[32:44] Speaker 2: details that God would give me that would change my position.
[32:49] Speaker 2: It would just give me more reasons to focus on
[32:52] Speaker 2: more details. If God would have told me when Bishop
[32:59] Speaker 2: handed me the keys to this church that there would
[33:03] Speaker 2: be a year that people would make up stories about
[33:05] Speaker 2: me and use the intention of me just trying to
[33:09] Speaker 2: help people to get it to turn me into somebody
[33:11] Speaker 2: that people said I wasn't even fit to be a father,
[33:13] Speaker 2: and people writing all these other things, and now I'm
[33:15] Speaker 2: a false prophet. Now I've just found out I'm a
[33:17] Speaker 2: part of the illuminati. Like y'all, there are some wild
[33:21] Speaker 2: stuff out here that like I missed that email. But
[33:26] Speaker 2: all I'm saying is, if God would have gave me
[33:32] Speaker 2: the detail of the roundabout way, he was gonna work
[33:36] Speaker 2: out some of my vain ambition. The movie couldn't have
[33:43] Speaker 2: come before the Wilderness, y'all. I'm talking about real life
[33:51] Speaker 2: right now.
[33:53] Speaker 4: He had he had.
[33:56] Speaker 2: To do that so that I understood the weight of
[34:00] Speaker 2: the moment that I was standing in when it when
[34:02] Speaker 2: everybody's saying, oh my gosh, you get to do this,
[34:04] Speaker 2: I said, I know what that means, and I know
[34:07] Speaker 2: what that cost. I know how many times I had
[34:10] Speaker 2: to pray. I know that I've been leaning the old
[34:12] Speaker 2: folks would have said, leaning on the everlasting love. It
[34:17] Speaker 2: was his love that took me the long way. It
[34:20] Speaker 2: was the preservation of my marriage, it was what I
[34:22] Speaker 2: needed for my kids. He took me the long way
[34:24] Speaker 2: because he loved me. Somebody got to hear me. He
[34:27] Speaker 2: took me that. He didn't give it to me when
[34:28] Speaker 2: I thought I needed it and I wanted it.
[34:32] Speaker 3: Because he loved me.
[34:36] Speaker 2: And it's only in hindsight that you can see the
[34:39] Speaker 2: love of God when he doesn't give you what you
[34:41] Speaker 2: want when you ask for it. The truth is many
[34:46] Speaker 2: of us are disobedient because of a detail. What are
[34:51] Speaker 2: you waiting on God to tell you he's gonna do
[34:54] Speaker 2: when he already gave you promised land. He's already given
[34:59] Speaker 2: you promising land instructions, and you still waiting on the detail.
[35:05] Speaker 2: The reason why this is important is because it costs
[35:07] Speaker 2: the children of Israel their literal lives because they would
[35:14] Speaker 2: not get past complaining about the details. I'm gonna just
[35:16] Speaker 2: show you a few of them, because many of us
[35:20] Speaker 2: were distracted by the detail of watch this drought. You
[35:25] Speaker 2: might be in this room under the sound of my voice,
[35:27] Speaker 2: and you are distracted by the detail of drought. What
[35:31] Speaker 2: do you mean past the mic? It ain't flowing like
[35:33] Speaker 2: I thought it was gonna be flowing. Oh oh, I
[35:39] Speaker 2: don't know about you, but there are seasons you walk on.
[35:41] Speaker 2: This is gonna be the best year of my life.
[35:42] Speaker 2: Anybody like, hold on? Where is everything? Where is everybody?
[35:48] Speaker 3: Where's the money?
[35:49] Speaker 2: Where's the love? Where is common sense? Where is anything?
[35:54] Speaker 2: Where is it? And I found out that seasons of
[36:01] Speaker 2: exposed where you point and focused to as the source.
[36:08] Speaker 2: The children of Israel were thirsty, they were parched, and
[36:12] Speaker 2: there was a drought. It was dry. God had already
[36:15] Speaker 2: delivered them. Exodus fifteen twenty two. It said, then Moses
[36:18] Speaker 2: led the people of Israel away from the Red Sea,
[36:21] Speaker 2: and they moved out into the desert, desert of sure.
[36:24] Speaker 2: They traveled in the desert for three days without finding
[36:27] Speaker 2: any water. So it's been three days of no water
[36:30] Speaker 2: when they came to the oasis of Mara. The water
[36:34] Speaker 2: was too bitter to drink, so they found water, but
[36:37] Speaker 2: it wasn't good enough for them to drink, so they
[36:40] Speaker 2: called the place. Look what they did Mara, which means bitter.
[36:48] Speaker 2: They named the place for what they had experienced. So
[36:54] Speaker 2: they are already summing up. This is the end of
[36:57] Speaker 2: what God's gonna do here. Be careful not to label
[37:02] Speaker 2: what God is still working on. I need you to
[37:06] Speaker 2: hear me say this comes in, I'll never been I
[37:08] Speaker 2: can't get it in Tulsa, I'm moving from this sea,
[37:11] Speaker 2: I'm this, And we start labeling seasons that are still
[37:17] Speaker 2: in process Verse twenty four. Then because they labeled the season,
[37:23] Speaker 2: their words had to follow it. After you label a season,
[37:30] Speaker 2: your words don't get positive about that season. Look what
[37:34] Speaker 2: they started doing. Then the people did what complained. And
[37:40] Speaker 2: then they turned against Moses, the very person that was
[37:44] Speaker 2: the big dog that delivered them from Pharaoh. Because they
[37:48] Speaker 2: were thirsty in a drought. They started turning away from
[37:52] Speaker 2: leaders who had saved them in different seasons. What do
[37:58] Speaker 2: we out, dream demanded, So Moses cried out to the
[38:02] Speaker 2: Lord for help. Hell, Lord, these people are thirsty At breathstink.
[38:09] Speaker 2: They're complaining, And the Lord showed Moses a piece of wood.
[38:16] Speaker 2: Moses strew it into the water, and this made the
[38:19] Speaker 2: water good to drink. Be careful that you don't turn
[38:21] Speaker 2: against your leaders in the time that you still need
[38:25] Speaker 2: them to lead.
[38:27] Speaker 3: Because Moses is better than a lot of us.
[38:34] Speaker 2: I just want to say, there are times where you
[38:36] Speaker 2: were like, well, I guess we're all about to starve
[38:39] Speaker 2: and we ain't gonna have no water, and we all
[38:41] Speaker 2: gonna die thirsty.
[38:43] Speaker 3: But he still had the presence of mind.
[38:44] Speaker 2: Listen to me. Leaders, even when the people turn against you,
[38:47] Speaker 2: even when your kids turn against you, even when your
[38:49] Speaker 2: family or the team turns against you, go to God
[38:53] Speaker 2: on their behalf, because there's an instruction that God can
[38:58] Speaker 2: give you that it will still seem crazy, but will
[39:02] Speaker 2: provide a quench thirst for those who follow you. Those
[39:07] Speaker 2: people got so happy and started drinking, but it didn't
[39:12] Speaker 2: stop the fact that they were complaining because the detail
[39:17] Speaker 2: they didn't know how they were gonna get water.
[39:20] Speaker 3: Now, it didn't just stop there.
[39:21] Speaker 2: They also get distracted, like we get distracted watch this
[39:25] Speaker 2: by the detail of desire. Now, science tells us that
[39:31] Speaker 2: we need water, but The truth of the matter is,
[39:34] Speaker 2: you can go a long time without eating and still live.
[39:37] Speaker 2: These people right here started getting hungry for the things
[39:41] Speaker 2: that they used to have. Their desires were starting to
[39:44] Speaker 2: take over.
[39:44] Speaker 3: Look at it.
[39:45] Speaker 2: In Exodus sixteen, verse two, it said, there too, the
[39:49] Speaker 2: whole community of Israel, watch this word complain.
[39:55] Speaker 3: About Moses and Aaron.
[39:57] Speaker 2: Can I just stop and say this when you are
[39:59] Speaker 2: distracted by the details, The dialogue is always complaining. This
[40:05] Speaker 2: is a way for you to reverse engineer an area
[40:08] Speaker 2: in your life where you have been too concerned about
[40:11] Speaker 2: the details. How much do you complain about it? Okay,
[40:15] Speaker 2: I'm gonna leave it alone. But some of y'all complain
[40:18] Speaker 2: all the time about situations that God has sent his
[40:22] Speaker 2: grace to sustain you through. And maybe we need to
[40:25] Speaker 2: shift the focus to something that we can be grateful for,
[40:28] Speaker 2: because complaining is the language of people who are obsessed
[40:32] Speaker 2: with details that they can't control and will lead to
[40:35] Speaker 2: their ultimate demise. Okay, oh God, it says, if you
[40:41] Speaker 2: if only the Lord, Oh my God, look how crazy
[40:44] Speaker 2: they get. They're complaining now about food, and they say,
[40:47] Speaker 2: if only the Lord would have killed us back in Egypt.
[40:49] Speaker 3: Whoa hold on wait a minute.
[40:54] Speaker 2: Now you think that your desire for this, or your
[40:57] Speaker 2: hunger for this, or your appetite for this being fulfilled,
[41:01] Speaker 2: it's worth more than you living. It said, they moaned,
[41:06] Speaker 2: and grown they it said. There we sat around pots
[41:12] Speaker 2: filled with meat, your slave, and ate all the bread
[41:17] Speaker 2: your slave we wanted. You're a slave. But now you
[41:21] Speaker 2: have brought us into freedom, into the wilderness, in freedom
[41:24] Speaker 2: to starve us to death? Who said that? Do you
[41:31] Speaker 2: see how many stories we make up when our desires
[41:33] Speaker 2: become our distraction. God left us We should have died
[41:38] Speaker 2: back there? No no, no, no, no no no no,
[41:39] Speaker 2: no no no. And this is the crazy thing about it.
[41:43] Speaker 2: Your desires will have you romanticizing about a bad past.
[41:51] Speaker 2: Did y'all see how these people started to romanticize? At
[41:54] Speaker 2: least back then, I know we was beat every day,
[41:56] Speaker 2: and I know that we was our hands was calloused over,
[41:59] Speaker 2: and I know our children were tooking, rape and all.
[42:01] Speaker 3: This other stuff.
[42:02] Speaker 2: But at least we had parts from me. I don't
[42:07] Speaker 2: act like you ain't never done that in a relationship.
[42:08] Speaker 2: I know he was abusive, and I know he didn't
[42:11] Speaker 2: talk to me right, and I know, but at least
[42:13] Speaker 2: I have somebody who cared about God moves you into
[42:19] Speaker 2: a brand new season. I mean, I know they wasn't
[42:22] Speaker 2: the best friends. I know they weren't the best people
[42:24] Speaker 2: to be around, but at least they was around. No, no, no,
[42:26] Speaker 2: I know he was there when I cheated on my
[42:28] Speaker 2: wife and he covered it up for me. And I
[42:29] Speaker 2: know that we you know what I'm saying, But at
[42:31] Speaker 2: least stop romanticizing seasons that were yours in bondage. This
[42:49] Speaker 2: little detail that you don't know right now got you
[42:52] Speaker 2: romanticizing and wanting to go back to being dead. You
[42:58] Speaker 2: got to give up the details. And then God provided
[43:04] Speaker 2: for him. He said, I'm gonna provide quill, and I'm
[43:07] Speaker 2: gonna provide manna every day he verse four. I'll just
[43:12] Speaker 2: read it to you, he said. Then the Lord said
[43:14] Speaker 2: to Moses, look, I'm gonna rain down food from heaven
[43:18] Speaker 2: for you. I'm gonna bring food from a place that
[43:23] Speaker 2: you ain't never seen it come from before. I'm gonna
[43:26] Speaker 2: provide sustenance from a place that you've never seen it before.
[43:31] Speaker 3: He said.
[43:31] Speaker 2: Each day, the people can go out and pick up
[43:33] Speaker 2: as much food as they need for that day.
[43:40] Speaker 3: Isn't it like God to.
[43:42] Speaker 2: Win he could give you the portion for the week,
[43:46] Speaker 2: he still only gives you the portion for the day.
[43:50] Speaker 2: That's why in the Lord's Prayer it says, give us
[43:53] Speaker 2: this day our daily braain. Why because he's remembered trying
[43:58] Speaker 2: to develop devotion. He wants them to come to him daily,
[44:06] Speaker 2: the same way God wants you to come to him daily.
[44:09] Speaker 2: That's why he gives you the answers you need to dang.
[44:12] Speaker 2: But he says, don't worry about tomorrow because were gonna
[44:14] Speaker 2: talk tomorrow. Right. No, no, no, no, this is not
[44:21] Speaker 2: just today for the month, for the week, for the year.
[44:24] Speaker 2: We're gonna talk tomorrow, right, my wife, don't have to
[44:28] Speaker 2: give me the plan for the whole week. As long
[44:29] Speaker 2: as we keep talking. He said, get as much as
[44:36] Speaker 2: you need today. I will test them, oh, in this
[44:39] Speaker 2: to see the see whether or not. Oh, God's a tester,
[44:46] Speaker 2: I thought. He said, in no Bible, he will not
[44:48] Speaker 2: test tempt you more than you can. Y'all need to
[44:55] Speaker 2: read the Bible that's talking about temptation. And he said
[44:59] Speaker 2: those things come from inside anyway. He says, so you
[45:01] Speaker 2: gotta deal with that. But he said, oh, I will
[45:03] Speaker 2: test you. I will see if you will obey my instructions.
[45:08] Speaker 2: That's the detail you should be worried about. He said,
[45:10] Speaker 2: I'm gonna test him to see whether or not they
[45:13] Speaker 2: will follow my instruction. On the sixth day, because the
[45:16] Speaker 2: Lord honored the Sabbath, they will gather food and when
[45:19] Speaker 2: they prepare it. I love that God never violates any
[45:22] Speaker 2: of his laws to provide for us because he didn't
[45:26] Speaker 2: work on the Sabbath. So he said on the sixth day,
[45:29] Speaker 2: I will make twice as much so they can have
[45:32] Speaker 2: for the next day. But that's the only day I'm
[45:33] Speaker 2: gonna add the extra provision because I'm a god of details.
[45:41] Speaker 2: The reason you don't have to worry about the details
[45:45] Speaker 2: is because God is a god of how many places
[45:50] Speaker 2: in the world does God say, I know the number
[45:52] Speaker 2: of hairs on your head? You trying to hold onto
[45:56] Speaker 2: forty six of them right here, and God says it's
[45:58] Speaker 2: forty three. You understand what I'm saying, Like, he's the God.
[46:04] Speaker 2: So why has children? Are we worried about details? Watch
[46:09] Speaker 2: this we can't change. If he told them I'm gonna
[46:14] Speaker 2: feed you every day, they were gonna be like, well,
[46:17] Speaker 2: what you feeding us? How do you know?
[46:19] Speaker 3: Because if you.
[46:19] Speaker 2: Read in there. They named it in mana. They had
[46:22] Speaker 2: a very real problem with naming their stuff based on
[46:26] Speaker 2: their attitude. Do you know what mana means? What is it?
[46:33] Speaker 2: God rains down provision from heaven and their response is
[46:37] Speaker 2: not thank you? What is this? Have you? Have you
[46:46] Speaker 2: ever had God provide?
[46:49] Speaker 3: And you ain't really like the way he did it?
[46:51] Speaker 2: So then you was like, what is this? But the
[46:55] Speaker 2: truth of the matter is most of us are worried
[46:58] Speaker 2: about the wrong. Ava come here real quick, Come here,
[47:02] Speaker 2: my baby. This is my daughter Ava, and I asked
[47:05] Speaker 2: her to do this before service. I asked her if
[47:08] Speaker 2: she had a couple of questions for her daddy, And
[47:10] Speaker 2: so I need able to come up here, and she's
[47:12] Speaker 2: gonna ask me some questions. Y'all give it up for
[47:14] Speaker 2: Ava as she comes real quick. Okay, come here, my baby. Okay,
[47:19] Speaker 2: all right, baby. Now, Ava had a few questions for
[47:22] Speaker 2: her daddy, and I want you to just say them
[47:24] Speaker 2: into the Yeah, you can read the card, and I
[47:26] Speaker 2: hope that I can answer your questions.
[47:28] Speaker 3: Just right here, baby, hold on, just reels to turn
[47:31] Speaker 3: her up.
[47:32] Speaker 4: Dad. What is the interest ray on your house?
[47:38] Speaker 2: You asked me, what's the interest rate on our house? Now.
[47:45] Speaker 2: I love the question, and I thank god you're inquisitive.
[47:50] Speaker 2: But that's a detail.
[47:53] Speaker 3: That is not for my daughter.
[47:57] Speaker 2: That's a detail that me and her mother have already
[48:01] Speaker 2: taken care of. What does it look like for my
[48:06] Speaker 2: seven year old to be asking me about the interest
[48:10] Speaker 2: rate on our home when there is nothing that she
[48:16] Speaker 2: can do? Do you understand what I'm saying to change?
[48:23] Speaker 3: Babe?
[48:24] Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. I got it.
[48:25] Speaker 3: Just ask me the next.
[48:26] Speaker 4: Question, dad, how you factored in gratitude?
[48:31] Speaker 3: Gratuity?
[48:33] Speaker 4: Gratuity for our family vacation?
[48:36] Speaker 2: Have I factored in gratuity for our family vacation? What
[48:42] Speaker 2: an intelligent question that has nothing to do with your
[48:50] Speaker 2: satisfaction on our vacation. She would be robbed of the
[48:58] Speaker 2: joy of the that me and her mother provided for
[49:02] Speaker 2: her if she is worried about the detail of the
[49:07] Speaker 2: gratuity factor, then for our family vacation. Some of y'all,
[49:11] Speaker 2: it's the tip, y'all. Some of y'all looking up right now? Gratuity?
[49:15] Speaker 2: How is there a are?
[49:16] Speaker 3: It's the till as ask me your last question.
[49:21] Speaker 4: Maybe when it when it is time for me to
[49:24] Speaker 4: get married, will you have enough money to pay for
[49:27] Speaker 4: my wedding dress.
[49:30] Speaker 2: That's a valid question. Depending on how this movie does,
[49:35] Speaker 2: we will see Nanja funny hear me watch it.
[49:39] Speaker 3: So she's never dated before.
[49:46] Speaker 2: Why is she worried about the detail of a dress
[49:51] Speaker 2: when she has a father that has provided everything she's
[49:55] Speaker 2: ever needed up until this point. What I'm trying to.
[49:59] Speaker 3: Get you to understand, can we give it up for
[50:00] Speaker 3: aver right now?
[50:01] Speaker 2: You did a great job, baby. What I'm trying to
[50:07] Speaker 2: get somebody to understand is that it doesn't make sense
[50:14] Speaker 2: for us to be worried about details. Our father, who
[50:19] Speaker 2: is detailed, is already prepared, worked out. How do you
[50:25] Speaker 2: know this pass? I'm like, because God told him I'm
[50:28] Speaker 2: taking you the long way so I can get you
[50:31] Speaker 2: to the Promised Land. He's so good that he gave
[50:36] Speaker 2: them the end. And that's why we have to look
[50:42] Speaker 2: at Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty five. Everybody go here.
[50:47] Speaker 2: Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty five. It literally says, that
[50:54] Speaker 2: is why I tell you not to worry about every
[50:59] Speaker 2: day life, whether you have enough food and drink or
[51:05] Speaker 2: enough clothes to wear.
[51:07] Speaker 3: Isn't life more than food for some of y'all?
[51:09] Speaker 2: Y'all can't even answer that question, and your body more
[51:13] Speaker 2: than clothing. Let me give you an eternal side. Look
[51:17] Speaker 2: up in the air and look at the birds. They
[51:21] Speaker 2: don't plant or harvest or store food in barns. For
[51:28] Speaker 2: your heavenly Father feeds still, And aren't you far more
[51:33] Speaker 2: valuable to him than they are? Somebody's spirit needs to
[51:37] Speaker 2: hear this. Can all your worries add a single moment
[51:43] Speaker 2: to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look
[51:47] Speaker 2: at the lilies of the field and how they grow.
[51:52] Speaker 2: They don't work or make their clothing. Yet Solomon, in
[51:56] Speaker 2: all of his glory, was not dressed as beautifully as
[51:58] Speaker 2: they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wild
[52:03] Speaker 2: flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow,
[52:09] Speaker 2: he will certainly care for I like to say, his masterpiece,
[52:16] Speaker 2: his workmanship. Why do you have so little faith? Why
[52:23] Speaker 2: do you think God doesn't care about the details of
[52:24] Speaker 2: your life? Why do you think that he's skipping you
[52:29] Speaker 2: over instead of refining you? He said, so, don't worry
[52:35] Speaker 2: about all these things, saying what will I eat, what
[52:38] Speaker 2: will I drink? What will I wear? And y'all know
[52:40] Speaker 2: these are just examples of details. I don't want you
[52:44] Speaker 2: to like, eat, drink. No, no, no, It's like where
[52:46] Speaker 2: will I work? What'sity will I live in? Where am
[52:49] Speaker 2: I going on vacation? How many people think that I'm fine?
[52:56] Speaker 2: This is real? How do I look today? Who's gonna
[53:01] Speaker 2: Who's gonna like my posts? He said, don't worry about
[53:08] Speaker 2: these Why because as believers, these things dominate the thoughts
[53:13] Speaker 2: of unbelievers. But your heavenly Father, he's detailed and already
[53:20] Speaker 2: knows what you need.
[53:25] Speaker 3: Today.
[53:26] Speaker 2: Guys.
[53:26] Speaker 3: I just I felt that there were so many of us.
[53:32] Speaker 2: That have been waiting for God to do something else
[53:35] Speaker 2: before we obey him, because we're wanting more details.
[53:43] Speaker 3: If you just tell me, I'll I'll do it. And
[53:45] Speaker 3: God said, if you just do it, I'll tell you.
[53:52] Speaker 2: If you just if you just do I'm telling you
[53:54] Speaker 2: who you think gonna win this? Some of y'all been
[53:59] Speaker 2: at a stalemates for decades. God, if you just confirm
[54:02] Speaker 2: it again that I'm called already told you you want
[54:06] Speaker 2: a prophet, an apostle, somebody who don't know you to
[54:09] Speaker 2: come and say this is the Lord I have called
[54:12] Speaker 2: you from the foundation. Yeah, that could happen, But then
[54:15] Speaker 2: when I did it, you still didn't obey. You don't
[54:20] Speaker 2: have prophetic words, you don't have drunk whinos. Tell you, man,
[54:24] Speaker 2: something different about you? Man, I don't know what it is.
[54:30] Speaker 2: By where are you? Just a light as a glow?
[54:40] Speaker 2: What other detail do you need? And the children of Israel,
[54:48] Speaker 2: they were distracted by the detail of drought. They were
[54:53] Speaker 2: distracted by the detail of their desires. And then this
[54:56] Speaker 2: is a big one, y'all. They were distracted by the
[54:58] Speaker 2: detail of the date. They thought God was gonna do
[55:03] Speaker 2: it quickly, and he was. It was supposed to be
[55:07] Speaker 2: eleven days. But because of their disobedience, their disobedience kept
[55:12] Speaker 2: dragging out the deliverance. The disobedience drags out the deliverance.
[55:23] Speaker 3: Yep, y'all.
[55:25] Speaker 2: Ever been somewhere and you know it takes a certain
[55:29] Speaker 2: amount of time to do something, and then you get
[55:35] Speaker 2: distracted or you have to pause it, or you told
[55:37] Speaker 2: somebody who's gonna be there at a certain time. But
[55:39] Speaker 2: this thing takes this amount of time. It's just until
[55:42] Speaker 2: you continue to do it, you can't get around how
[55:45] Speaker 2: much time it takes. And they were disobedient so much
[55:51] Speaker 2: so that when Moses went up to the mountain to
[55:54] Speaker 2: get divine instructions, He said, all right, everybody, time out.
[55:59] Speaker 2: Y'all just take a break. I'm gonna go hear from God.
[56:02] Speaker 2: I'm gonna figure out what we're supposed to do to
[56:04] Speaker 2: get into the Promised Land. Yes, y'all did the water
[56:07] Speaker 2: thing and complain twice. And then God brought water from rocks.
[56:10] Speaker 2: He did all kinds of stuff, miracles, huh, miracles, y'all
[56:12] Speaker 2: still complaining.
[56:13] Speaker 3: And then he quail manna from heaven. Y'all complain about that.
[56:17] Speaker 2: I was like, what is this?
[56:18] Speaker 3: But he still was good.
[56:19] Speaker 2: I had to pray a couple of times that he
[56:21] Speaker 2: wouldn't go off on y'all. But I'm gonna go up
[56:24] Speaker 2: here now, y'all gotta read the whole thing. I'm gonna
[56:26] Speaker 2: go up here now, I'm gonna hear from God. I'm
[56:27] Speaker 2: gonna get watch this divine details. I don't want you
[56:31] Speaker 2: to think God is not against details. He will give
[56:35] Speaker 2: you divine key del's watch this when you need them.
[56:39] Speaker 2: The only reason you need a detail is that God
[56:43] Speaker 2: thinks it's important for you to get to the destiny.
[56:45] Speaker 2: So he said, I'm gonna give you these ten commandments.
[56:47] Speaker 2: Come up here with me. I'm gonna talk to them everybody,
[56:49] Speaker 2: chill out, watch what happens. Exodus thirty two, verse one.
[56:54] Speaker 2: The title of this is the Golden Calf. When the
[56:58] Speaker 2: people watch this saw how long it was taking Moses
[57:04] Speaker 2: to talk to God and to come back down a mountain.
[57:11] Speaker 2: I don't know how many of you trek up mountains
[57:13] Speaker 2: and come down them.
[57:15] Speaker 3: That might take some time.
[57:18] Speaker 2: They gathered around Aaron, Come on, they said, make us
[57:23] Speaker 2: some gods who can lead us, because we're tired of waiting.
[57:30] Speaker 2: We don't know what happened. Look at this to that
[57:32] Speaker 2: fellow Moses. The fellow Moses, I mean, y'all literally took
[57:42] Speaker 2: him from the leader to like, we don't know what
[57:45] Speaker 2: happened to that fellow Moses. But that's what happens when
[57:50] Speaker 2: you allow the date to become a distraction. You'll start
[57:56] Speaker 2: looking at people that helped lead you through seasons, that
[58:00] Speaker 2: gave you wisdom at the moment you needed. But now
[58:03] Speaker 2: because they haven't been as close, because maybe they were
[58:06] Speaker 2: doing something to get a word from God or to
[58:08] Speaker 2: try to get something that God told them to do.
[58:11] Speaker 3: Now when they come back in, it's.
[58:12] Speaker 2: Like, who are you.
[58:14] Speaker 3: I'm the same one that helped you. So what did
[58:21] Speaker 3: these people do.
[58:24] Speaker 2: They were so distracted by the date that they started
[58:27] Speaker 2: building other gods, and some of us have done that.
[58:32] Speaker 2: We got distracted by a detail of a date. We
[58:36] Speaker 2: thought God wasn't coming to do nothing in our lives,
[58:38] Speaker 2: so we started making other things our focus. But we
[58:45] Speaker 2: built them. We used all the resources, all of our gifts,
[58:51] Speaker 2: all of our talents, and we built gods. Some of
[58:56] Speaker 2: your businesses are gods you built, saying it's not lucrative.
[59:02] Speaker 2: I'm just asking, is that what God told you to build?
[59:08] Speaker 2: Some of our families, we've built the idols. Not that
[59:12] Speaker 2: God didn't want you to have family, It's his plan
[59:14] Speaker 2: for humanity. But you won't even honor God and tell
[59:17] Speaker 2: your kids about Jesus. Some of us won't even make
[59:22] Speaker 2: our kids come to church.
[59:25] Speaker 3: Well, Billy didn't want to come. What excuse me?
[59:28] Speaker 2: I don't know. I know we all pairing differently, but
[59:32] Speaker 2: what it's like, what do you don't say that to them?
[59:38] Speaker 2: About school? Which I'm a witness that most things I
[59:45] Speaker 2: learned from the sixth grade to my six months at TCC,
[59:49] Speaker 2: I don't you. But the things that I learned about
[59:55] Speaker 2: who God was and what He's trying to do in
[59:58] Speaker 2: my life and is planning for humanity and my responsibility
[1:00:00] Speaker 2: and helping spread the gospel. That's important. These people were
[1:00:06] Speaker 2: distracted and ultimately last one. They were distracted by the
[1:00:10] Speaker 2: detail of delivery. They didn't like how God was delivering
[1:00:15] Speaker 2: them to the promised Lamb, so they decided to complain
[1:00:18] Speaker 2: about every detail they could not control and curated their
[1:00:23] Speaker 2: own devise. The reason I felt it was important to
[1:00:28] Speaker 2: say this is because in the year that God's telling
[1:00:30] Speaker 2: us all the focus, it would be very easy for
[1:00:33] Speaker 2: us to take a position of entitlement.
[1:00:37] Speaker 3: And be mad at God for the way he chooses
[1:00:40] Speaker 3: to deliver us.
[1:00:43] Speaker 2: And when you get frustrated that he brought me to Tulsa, Ugh,
[1:00:51] Speaker 2: why he take me from Why did I have to
[1:00:54] Speaker 2: give up? I gotta marry them? I mean, we do
[1:00:59] Speaker 2: have kids together. But what I'm saying is like, what's
[1:01:02] Speaker 2: what we got is deeper than the paper. No, I'm
[1:01:10] Speaker 2: I'm just saying like, I really gotta I really gotta
[1:01:14] Speaker 2: give up this substance. I've hit it so well nobody
[1:01:18] Speaker 2: even knows I can function. And this didn't change my
[1:01:22] Speaker 2: relationship with God. But sometimes I just need a little escape.
[1:01:32] Speaker 2: God's saying, I'm choosing to deliver you away that will
[1:01:34] Speaker 2: deliver you to the promised land ready, and these people,
[1:01:41] Speaker 2: unfortunately never get to see what God had already prepared
[1:01:47] Speaker 2: for them because they were distracted by the details numbers
[1:01:53] Speaker 2: fourteen twenty three. This is God talking. Now. They shall
[1:01:58] Speaker 2: not see the land which I swore to their fathers.
[1:02:03] Speaker 2: Neither shall any of those who rejected me see it.
[1:02:06] Speaker 2: What do you see in, Pastor Mike, When you were
[1:02:09] Speaker 2: distracted by the details, God has to find another generation,
[1:02:17] Speaker 2: telling everybody here today there are instructions that God has
[1:02:23] Speaker 2: given to you that you do not need to know
[1:02:25] Speaker 2: all the details to obey them. And today I feel
[1:02:30] Speaker 2: like this is your launching pad into destiny. You have
[1:02:35] Speaker 2: an example of a group of people that God loved
[1:02:38] Speaker 2: but would not change their ways, so that you can
[1:02:42] Speaker 2: see that's not my detail to be worried about. So,
[1:02:48] Speaker 2: Pastor Mike, what do I do? I want you to
[1:02:50] Speaker 2: trade all of your need, your desire for the details
[1:02:55] Speaker 2: for three things. What can I trade my desire for
[1:02:59] Speaker 2: details for number one? Devotion? What would have happened if
[1:03:02] Speaker 2: every time they would have started complaining everything like never mind?
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: He just delivered us to a whole bunch of water. Well,
[1:03:10] Speaker 2: I don't like you know what. Never mind.
[1:03:14] Speaker 3: This time last week I was getting beat upside my head.
[1:03:17] Speaker 2: No, I'm just like practical, you know. I hate the
[1:03:24] Speaker 2: you know what. Never mind, I'm taking my vote away.
[1:03:30] Speaker 2: If he got me this far, he must have a
[1:03:34] Speaker 2: plan for where I'm going. Huh Number two? What can
[1:03:39] Speaker 2: I trade my desire for details for discipline? Sometimes the
[1:03:44] Speaker 2: greatest thing you can keep doing is stepping. I don't
[1:03:49] Speaker 2: know what he's doing, but I'm gonna keep walking. The
[1:03:52] Speaker 2: discipline to stay on the path, the discipline to keep going.
[1:03:58] Speaker 3: Where the money coming from?
[1:03:59] Speaker 2: I don't know, But I'm going to work today and
[1:04:01] Speaker 2: I'm gonna have a good attitude and I'm not gonna
[1:04:03] Speaker 2: take it out on everybody else, and I'm not gonna
[1:04:05] Speaker 2: act like that. I'm gonna represent Jesus today and I'm
[1:04:07] Speaker 2: gonna keep walking, and I'm gonna keep doing what God's
[1:04:10] Speaker 2: told me to do. I don't know where the team
[1:04:12] Speaker 2: coming from. I don't know how it's about to happen.
[1:04:14] Speaker 2: I have no clue who's gonna be with me at
[1:04:17] Speaker 2: the end of this. But I'm disciplined to keep doing
[1:04:19] Speaker 2: the same things that have gotten me to this point,
[1:04:21] Speaker 2: and I don't have to have details to keep walking.
[1:04:24] Speaker 2: I would love to know if I'm going up a
[1:04:25] Speaker 2: mountain or I'm going in a valley. But you know what,
[1:04:27] Speaker 2: if I keep stepping, I'm gonna have to step down,
[1:04:29] Speaker 2: and I'll step up. And at the end of the day,
[1:04:31] Speaker 2: if I just keep doing the same thing. The word
[1:04:37] Speaker 2: disciple means disciplined one the last thing you can do.
[1:04:44] Speaker 2: I don't want you to see yourself doing this all
[1:04:46] Speaker 2: this week. If you have a desire to have all
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: the details, this is the other thing you can trade
[1:04:50] Speaker 2: it for delight. I don't need the details because I
[1:04:58] Speaker 2: have a God that's handling. Oh man, how good does
[1:05:05] Speaker 2: it feel to want to know but don't have to
[1:05:11] Speaker 2: Ooh God, thank you for helping me. Just trust you
[1:05:20] Speaker 2: who right now? I could be worried like a buck ready, dude,
[1:05:25] Speaker 2: and our hearty?
[1:05:26] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[1:05:26] Speaker 3: I oh, y'all better hear me.
[1:05:32] Speaker 2: But God, I thank you that I can delighten you,
[1:05:38] Speaker 2: that you'll stand with me, you'll stand for me. You
[1:05:42] Speaker 2: have my best and highest purpose in mind. Psalms thirty
[1:05:47] Speaker 2: four to four. This is where we end. Delight yourself
[1:05:50] Speaker 2: in the Lord, and he will give you the desires
[1:05:55] Speaker 2: of your heart standing all over this room. The beautiful
[1:06:02] Speaker 2: thing about this scripture and these scriptures, and I need everybody.
[1:06:06] Speaker 2: We're gonna go in just the moment, but I need
[1:06:08] Speaker 2: you to listen to.
[1:06:08] Speaker 3: This last part.
[1:06:12] Speaker 2: All of the things that you have a desire for,
[1:06:18] Speaker 2: all the things the children of Israel wanted. They wanted
[1:06:21] Speaker 2: to know the details in the drought, and they really
[1:06:24] Speaker 2: just wanted water. See, this was a type and shadow
[1:06:28] Speaker 2: of Jesus coming to the earth and answering all of
[1:06:30] Speaker 2: our questions. Because I remember there was another woman who
[1:06:33] Speaker 2: was thirsty, and she was at a whale, and Jesus said,
[1:06:36] Speaker 2: if you take a drink of me, I will give
[1:06:38] Speaker 2: you water and it will never run. Try. And he
[1:06:43] Speaker 2: saw those people and the children of Israel, just like
[1:06:46] Speaker 2: all of us, their desires would leave them. They were hungry,
[1:06:49] Speaker 2: they had an appetite. And Jesus tells us in the
[1:06:51] Speaker 2: New Testament, don't worry about that, because I am the
[1:06:54] Speaker 2: bread of life. And people who are worried about the date,
[1:06:58] Speaker 2: he said, don't worry about the day, because when I
[1:07:00] Speaker 2: come back, nobody will know the time or the hour.
[1:07:04] Speaker 2: He said, I'm standing outside of all of this and
[1:07:08] Speaker 2: people wanted to know how he was going to deliver them,
[1:07:13] Speaker 2: and he said, listen, I'll shin Jesus, and I'll even
[1:07:18] Speaker 2: make him relate to you, because when he was in
[1:07:22] Speaker 2: the garden, he didn't like the way he was being
[1:07:25] Speaker 2: delivered either. This is why we praise Jesus, because he
[1:07:31] Speaker 2: is one that has identified with all of our human emotions.
[1:07:37] Speaker 2: He literally says to the Father, if there's any other way,
[1:07:42] Speaker 2: let this pass. I don't want to do it like this,
[1:07:44] Speaker 2: but nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done today.
[1:07:56] Speaker 2: The answer is for us to focus on us. If
[1:08:02] Speaker 2: you're in this room and you know that there have
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: been things that God is calling you to do, but
[1:08:08] Speaker 2: you've allowed the details to be excuses or you've allowed
[1:08:12] Speaker 2: the details to make you disobedient. I just need you
[1:08:14] Speaker 2: to lift your hand today. I feel like I gotta
[1:08:16] Speaker 2: pray for you. Yeah, okay, I'm in the right room.
[1:08:22] Speaker 2: Put your hands down, because I'm about to pray for you.
[1:08:24] Speaker 2: And that there's another group of people in here that actually,
[1:08:29] Speaker 2: you've been in a place where the details have crippled
[1:08:35] Speaker 2: your belief and because God's given you some details, it
[1:08:42] Speaker 2: overwhelmed you too much. You said, I know who I
[1:08:46] Speaker 2: really am, and I can't do that if they find
[1:08:49] Speaker 2: out that I think these thoughts and I'm.
[1:08:51] Speaker 3: All this other stuff.
[1:08:52] Speaker 2: He gave you a detail, and the detail of what
[1:08:54] Speaker 2: God did crippled you. He said, you're gonna be on
[1:08:57] Speaker 2: a stage like that. You're gonna touch the way, not me. God,
[1:09:02] Speaker 2: I still look at I still have I can't. Today.
[1:09:06] Speaker 2: I believe God's going to do an extreme transformation in
[1:09:10] Speaker 2: your heart posture.
[1:09:12] Speaker 3: If you're in either one of those groups, could you just.
[1:09:14] Speaker 2: Lift your hands in a way of identifying and surrender
[1:09:17] Speaker 2: right now, online, right now, in the penitentiary, right now,
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: God's going to do it. Father, in the name of Jesus.
[1:09:23] Speaker 2: Today we come before you, Father humble, actually at a
[1:09:27] Speaker 2: point Father of desperation. Father God, we need you. We
[1:09:31] Speaker 2: do not want to miss the promised Land, whatever that
[1:09:34] Speaker 2: means for us. Father, we do not want to miss
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: it because we are obsessed about and distracted by the details. Today,
[1:09:42] Speaker 2: Father God, I thank you that you would divinely focus
[1:09:44] Speaker 2: on the other only one Father who lights our path,
[1:09:47] Speaker 2: which is Jesus God. I thank you, Father God, that
[1:09:51] Speaker 2: everything that we've put above you today, Father, I surrender,
[1:09:54] Speaker 2: I lay down the way, Father, God, I give it
[1:09:57] Speaker 2: to you and Father, under the sound of my voice,
[1:09:59] Speaker 2: every person under the sound of my voice. God, I
[1:10:01] Speaker 2: thank you, Holy Spirit, that you would divinely direct us, Father,
[1:10:04] Speaker 2: to be able to be focused on gratefulness of the season.
[1:10:10] Speaker 2: You have us in, Father, and obedience for what our
[1:10:14] Speaker 2: next instruction is. God, I thank you Father that we
[1:10:17] Speaker 2: will not be worried about tomorrow, because tomorrow has enough
[1:10:20] Speaker 2: trouble issues worries of it on Today.
[1:10:23] Speaker 3: You're giving us our daily bread.
[1:10:25] Speaker 2: You're giving us everything we need to make it through today.
[1:10:28] Speaker 2: And Father, when tomorrow shows up, you are God that
[1:10:31] Speaker 2: cares about us more than the birds and the lilies.
[1:10:33] Speaker 2: And they don't worry, so.
[1:10:34] Speaker 3: We won't either.
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: Today, God, I thank you that people will divinely move
[1:10:39] Speaker 2: forward and what You've called them to be, and they
[1:10:43] Speaker 2: will not be distracted by the detours and the details. Today, Father,
[1:10:50] Speaker 2: we will obey. Today, Father God, we choose to obey.
[1:10:58] Speaker 2: I speak against everybody's purpose who has been paralyzed. They
[1:11:03] Speaker 2: haven't been able to share the Gospel, haven't been able
[1:11:06] Speaker 2: to walk in their gifting. Father God, I pulled down
[1:11:09] Speaker 2: every word that has been spoken negative against their life
[1:11:12] Speaker 2: and their future, those words are no longer able to
[1:11:17] Speaker 2: produce fruit in their life. I thank you, Father God
[1:11:20] Speaker 2: that they will no longer be hailed by what somebody
[1:11:24] Speaker 2: pointed out as a detail or a flaw in their life.
[1:11:29] Speaker 2: Any man, any woman who be in Christ, he's a
[1:11:31] Speaker 2: new she's a new creature. Today, God give us the
[1:11:38] Speaker 2: ability to focus on you. I don't have to worry
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: about the details because you already handle them. If you're
[1:11:49] Speaker 2: in this room and you've never accepted Jesus, this is
[1:11:53] Speaker 2: your moment. I feel the presence of God in this place.
[1:11:59] Speaker 2: There are people moving forward after this message. There is
[1:12:03] Speaker 2: no more excuses because God's got all the details already
[1:12:09] Speaker 2: worked out. Just like that couple, Listen and obey. If
[1:12:15] Speaker 2: you've never accepted Jesus, this is your moment to listen
[1:12:17] Speaker 2: and obey. This whole service has been a drawing for you.
[1:12:24] Speaker 2: If you're watching online, the Holy Spirit's right there with
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: you today. The distractions are being removed so you can
[1:12:32] Speaker 2: make a decision. And the only decision to make is
[1:12:35] Speaker 2: for Jesus. He's the one that came into my life.
[1:12:39] Speaker 2: Healed me, redeemed me, transform me. I can't tell you
[1:12:43] Speaker 2: what he's done for everybody personally. But I know there's
[1:12:45] Speaker 2: thousands of people under the sound of my voice that
[1:12:48] Speaker 2: he's done the same thing. But I'm telling you my story.
[1:12:50] Speaker 2: He took me from a liar or manipulator, somebody who
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: was addicted to pornography, had very dark stuff in my heart,
[1:12:56] Speaker 2: was going nowhere, but he took me the long route
[1:13:00] Speaker 2: because of his love. Had he changed me, He transformed me,
[1:13:06] Speaker 2: He renewed me. And today God wants to offer you
[1:13:09] Speaker 2: that same thing. And all it takes is a decision.
[1:13:12] Speaker 2: There are people that are in this room and watching
[1:13:14] Speaker 2: online and you're saying, I don't know if I'm worth it.
[1:13:17] Speaker 2: You're so worth it because God literally sent his only son,
[1:13:21] Speaker 2: not one of many, his only son, because he thought
[1:13:24] Speaker 2: that if he could send a sacrifice, maybe you will
[1:13:29] Speaker 2: receive the free gift of salvation. Today is your day
[1:13:34] Speaker 2: and that transformation Church. We celebrate this. It's the reason
[1:13:37] Speaker 2: why this church is here, to let everybody know about
[1:13:40] Speaker 2: the good news and then to celebrate their new life
[1:13:44] Speaker 2: in Christ. If you're in this room or you're watching online,
[1:13:47] Speaker 2: you're in your home and you want to make Jesus
[1:13:50] Speaker 2: Christ your personal ordering savior. On the counter three I
[1:13:52] Speaker 2: want you to throw your hand up with energy and enthusiasm,
[1:13:56] Speaker 2: knowing that your life is about to transform, because Heaven
[1:14:00] Speaker 2: is rejoicing along with us already.
[1:14:02] Speaker 3: See a hand one.
[1:14:03] Speaker 2: You're making the greatest decision of your life too. I
[1:14:05] Speaker 2: see you up there. Brother, your name is about to
[1:14:08] Speaker 2: be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Three. Just
[1:14:10] Speaker 2: shuit your hand up all over this place. If you're here,
[1:14:13] Speaker 2: I see you. Come on, if somebody's around you, celebrate
[1:14:15] Speaker 2: right now. God bless you, God bless you. Brother. Come
[1:14:19] Speaker 2: on on your wedding day. Come on, let's do this
[1:14:21] Speaker 2: stick first commitment, new life. No matter if I see you,
[1:14:28] Speaker 2: God sees you and that transformation. In church, we a family,
[1:14:31] Speaker 2: nobody prays alone. Could you just lift your hands like this,
[1:14:33] Speaker 2: say God, thank you for sending Jesus just for me. Today.
[1:14:41] Speaker 2: I surrender and I give you my life. I believe
[1:14:45] Speaker 2: you lived, you die, and you rose again so that
[1:14:50] Speaker 2: I can live in freedom.
[1:14:52] Speaker 3: Today.
[1:14:53] Speaker 2: I give you everything. Use me, transform me. Yeah, knew me.
[1:15:01] Speaker 2: I'm yours in Jesus' name. Amen, TC. Can we celebrate? Oh,
[1:15:08] Speaker 2: come on, y'all, glory to God. Hey listen, if you
[1:15:12] Speaker 2: made that decision, we want you to text save to
[1:15:16] Speaker 2: eight two eight two eight two, or you can click

[1:15:19] Speaker 3: We want to walk with you.
[1:15:20] Speaker 2: Hey, listen tonight at six pm we having a wedding
[1:15:27] Speaker 2: and we would love for everybody to join us. And

[1:15:57] Speaker 2: next week, go out and live a transform life.
[1:16:03] Speaker 5: Can we continue to live up the only name that
[1:16:04] Speaker 5: is worthy of glory, worthy of honor, worthy of praise.
[1:16:12] Speaker 2: We bless your name? God? Is anyone worthy? Is anyone? Ho?
[1:16:26] Speaker 5: Is anyone able to break the seal and not open
[1:16:30] Speaker 5: the scroll? He's the lion of Judah who conquered the gray.
[1:16:38] Speaker 5: He is David's rude and the lamb who died to
[1:16:42] Speaker 5: Rensom the slave? Is anyone worthy? Is anyone?
[1:16:49] Speaker 2: Ho? Is anyone? Able to break the seal and open
[1:16:55] Speaker 2: the scroll. You are the lion of Jude.
[1:17:00] Speaker 5: You conquered the grave, and he is David's True And
[1:17:05] Speaker 5: the Lahab who died to Rensom the slave. Tell me,
[1:17:09] Speaker 5: is anyone word?
[1:17:12] Speaker 2: Is anyone?
[1:17:16] Speaker 5: It's anyone able to break the seal and open the scroll.
[1:17:21] Speaker 5: You are the lion of June, you conquered the grave.
[1:17:28] Speaker 3: He is David true. And the Lamb who died.
[1:17:31] Speaker 2: To Rensom the slave.
[1:17:34] Speaker 5: He sayes he wrey is he worldy ofo blessing and honor?
[1:17:42] Speaker 2: And goody? Is he word? Is he worldy.
[1:17:53] Speaker 5: Ofout blessing and honor and glo ory?
[1:17:58] Speaker 2: Oh? My God is Transformation Nation. Welcome to the after party.
[1:18:04] Speaker 2: It's the part of the service where I get to
[1:18:06] Speaker 2: connect with you. You have been sending in prayer request.
[1:18:10] Speaker 2: The team has been harvesting the prayer request from the
[1:18:14] Speaker 2: live chat, and if you have a prayer request right now,
[1:18:16] Speaker 2: I want you to put in the chat. The team
[1:18:18] Speaker 2: is on live and I'm getting updates right now through
[1:18:21] Speaker 2: the telepromter.
[1:18:22] Speaker 3: I just want you to know that what God's.
[1:18:24] Speaker 2: Doing in all of us right now is something that's
[1:18:27] Speaker 2: so special, and every week that I can. I want
[1:18:30] Speaker 2: to come here and let you know we're specifically praying
[1:18:33] Speaker 2: and believing God that this will be the year of
[1:18:36] Speaker 2: divine focus for you, that every distraction that has come
[1:18:40] Speaker 2: to your life, all the details that are trying to
[1:18:42] Speaker 2: take you off course, that this will be the season
[1:18:45] Speaker 2: where God does something brand new and you will have
[1:18:48] Speaker 2: divine focus. So, if you have a prayer request right now,
[1:18:51] Speaker 2: I want you to drop it in the chat and
[1:18:52] Speaker 2: I want to pray for you. I want to pray
[1:18:54] Speaker 2: for your life and your family, and I want you
[1:18:56] Speaker 2: to know there's no distance in prayer. We believe that
[1:19:00] Speaker 2: prayer is our first resort, not our last resort. Do
[1:19:03] Speaker 2: you understand what I'm saying. It's our first response and
[1:19:05] Speaker 2: not our last resort. So right now, as we begin
[1:19:08] Speaker 2: to pray, I want you to agree with me. There's
[1:19:10] Speaker 2: over fourteen thousand of you on here right now, and
[1:19:13] Speaker 2: we're believing that God does something unique. We're believing that
[1:19:16] Speaker 2: God does something intentional and specific. We don't got to
[1:19:20] Speaker 2: worry about the details because He is all in the details.
[1:19:23] Speaker 3: So Father, right now we pray for Dahlia in Las Vegas.
[1:19:26] Speaker 2: We pray Father God that there will be financial freedom
[1:19:29] Speaker 2: for her and her family and everything that concerns her. Father,
[1:19:32] Speaker 2: for anybody else that needs financial freedom right now, that
[1:19:35] Speaker 2: is walking in a drought financially that needs you to
[1:19:39] Speaker 2: make a way out of no way. Father, I thank
[1:19:41] Speaker 2: you that you are the God that is concerned about
[1:19:43] Speaker 2: the details. And I thank you that we will listen
[1:19:45] Speaker 2: and obey what you are saying to us today so
[1:19:48] Speaker 2: that we can, Father God, see your provision in tomorrow. God,
[1:19:52] Speaker 2: I thank you for Steven and Dallas. Father, I thank
[1:19:55] Speaker 2: you Father that even as his friend is about to
[1:19:57] Speaker 2: go into chemo, we pray for Ricky right now, and
[1:20:00] Speaker 2: we pray for anybody else that is dealing Father with
[1:20:02] Speaker 2: the sickness or something that is on the inside. Father
[1:20:05] Speaker 2: God that is trying to take life. Father, we serve
[1:20:09] Speaker 2: you because you are a healer. We know it's in
[1:20:12] Speaker 2: your character. So Father, give the doctor's wisdom.
[1:20:14] Speaker 3: Do a creative miracle.
[1:20:16] Speaker 2: Father, do something Father God that is beyond Father what
[1:20:19] Speaker 2: the doctors can explain today.
[1:20:21] Speaker 3: Father, I thank you.
[1:20:22] Speaker 2: Come on, if you need it and have a family
[1:20:24] Speaker 2: member or you yourself are believing for a healing, just
[1:20:26] Speaker 2: lift your hands. Father. We send faith in the name
[1:20:28] Speaker 2: of Jesus to every person that needs a healing, and
[1:20:31] Speaker 2: we declare, Father that you are not just. You are
[1:20:34] Speaker 2: not just bound Father to us being together. Your spirit
[1:20:38] Speaker 2: is flowing throughout Father the Internet right now, and your spirit,
[1:20:42] Speaker 2: Father God, is touching people's bodies, minds, hearts and lives
[1:20:45] Speaker 2: right now. We pray for Angela who's in England, Father God,
[1:20:49] Speaker 2: and we pray that all the way in Luton. In
[1:20:51] Speaker 2: Father God, I thank you, Father God, that her husband
[1:20:53] Speaker 2: and her kid's Father God would be whole. In the
[1:20:56] Speaker 2: name of Jesus God, I thank you, Father God that
[1:20:59] Speaker 2: they can be together. Father, whatever is keeping them apart
[1:21:02] Speaker 2: right now, whatever Father has them in different countries, Father God,
[1:21:05] Speaker 2: her desires for them to be together. And I thank
[1:21:08] Speaker 2: you for any family that is, Father God, dealing with
[1:21:11] Speaker 2: separation or not being together. God, your design is that
[1:21:16] Speaker 2: family's Father God, would be the picture of your love
[1:21:19] Speaker 2: Father on this earth.
[1:21:20] Speaker 3: And so we just pray Father for the family unit.
[1:21:22] Speaker 2: Father, bring Father's home, Father, raise up Godly Men of God.
[1:21:26] Speaker 2: We pray right now, Father God, that the men of
