[0:15] Speaker 2: We are in week four of a series we're calling Triggered.
[0:20] Speaker 2: We are putting Christ in the middle of our crash outs.
[0:24] Speaker 2: It is October first week. Has anybody had a crash
[0:29] Speaker 2: out in the first week of October? I'm not even
[0:33] Speaker 2: saying the last month. It's only been what four five days?
[0:39] Speaker 2: Somebody said not yet, but I feel one rising. One
[0:44] Speaker 2: of the things that I want everybody to know is
[0:46] Speaker 2: that if you don't put Christ in your life, in
[0:48] Speaker 2: the middle of your life, not a part of it,
[0:53] Speaker 2: in the center, everything that happens in your life has
[0:57] Speaker 2: a chance to send you into a place that gets
[1:00] Speaker 2: you to act out of Watch this Christ's character. This
[1:06] Speaker 2: is why people don't know that we believe God, because
[1:10] Speaker 2: believing God is in your heart, but your actions.
[1:15] Speaker 3: Really show what you believe.
[1:19] Speaker 2: Does everybody understand what I'm saying right now? And there
[1:21] Speaker 2: are too many believers crashing out, just like people who
[1:26] Speaker 2: have no knowledge of God, no reverence for God. No
[1:30] Speaker 2: respect for God and no actual experience with them. We
[1:34] Speaker 2: got video of you praying and turning your life over
[1:37] Speaker 2: and giving away. But yet if somebody does something crazy.
[1:41] Speaker 4: To you, you revert, you turn, you excuse the characteristics
[1:50] Speaker 4: that don't look like Christ.
[1:52] Speaker 2: And I understand all of us are a work in progress. Amen.
[1:57] Speaker 3: I should have.
[1:57] Speaker 2: Got way more amen than that. I said all of
[2:00] Speaker 2: us are work in progress.
[2:03] Speaker 3: Amen.
[2:04] Speaker 2: Okay, but I believe, let me be honest with you,
[2:09] Speaker 2: some of my progress in Christ didn't come until I decided.
[2:16] Speaker 2: And there are too many undecided believers.
[2:20] Speaker 3: You have not decided.
[2:21] Speaker 2: I'm going to actually really do what God says. You
[2:26] Speaker 2: felt like coming to church today was the pentacle of
[2:31] Speaker 2: your relationship with God experience.
[2:35] Speaker 3: And I want to say welcome, thank.
[2:36] Speaker 2: You, I love you, and I'm so glad you're here.
[2:39] Speaker 2: But at some point you can come to church and
[2:42] Speaker 2: still cut somebody out. You're sitting next to somebody who
[2:45] Speaker 2: did it this week. Ah, at some point, at some
[2:51] Speaker 2: point you can lift your hands in worship and still
[2:54] Speaker 2: bust it wide open.
[2:58] Speaker 3: Okay, all right, y'all, okay, all right.
[3:02] Speaker 2: Let me get back to my notes. All I'm saying
[3:07] Speaker 2: is I've been around too long to watch people declare
[3:10] Speaker 2: one thing and deliver another. Do you know anybody that
[3:16] Speaker 2: declares one thing and delivers another?
[3:19] Speaker 5: Are you somebody who declares one thing and delivers another?
[3:26] Speaker 5: You ever met somebody who claims to do something, but
[3:30] Speaker 5: at the time of doing it, there is no evidence
[3:34] Speaker 5: that they ever did it.
[3:37] Speaker 2: Okay, how many of us lift our hands and worship,
[3:43] Speaker 2: yet we crash out at watch this the littlest inconvenience.
[3:52] Speaker 2: The person at the drive through got your order on.
[3:56] Speaker 3: Some of y'all need deliverance.
[4:00] Speaker 2: Because you know your order was complicated in the first place.
[4:04] Speaker 2: Can I get the chicken strip meal but without the

[4:07] Speaker 3: Can you unbread it? But then could you put an
[4:10] Speaker 3: extra piece of bread?
[4:11] Speaker 2: No coast law? And I have a cupond what? And
[4:21] Speaker 2: they have the nerve to get your order wrong? And
[4:25] Speaker 2: somehow when you drive back through the driveway because they
[4:30] Speaker 2: inconvenienced you. I'm just giving really, really trivial examples, but
[4:38] Speaker 2: it goes down to deeper things. That My question is
[4:41] Speaker 2: if Christ was judging our daily actions, not our Bible reading,
[4:47] Speaker 2: not our prayer plans, not our speaking in tongues, and
[4:51] Speaker 2: our God blessed you texts our lie praying for you
[4:57] Speaker 2: text but you never pray for them. If he didn't
[5:02] Speaker 2: judge any just it was a silent movie of how
[5:08] Speaker 2: you actually lived. Would anybody know that you belong to Christ?
[5:17] Speaker 2: The Lord has been convicting me and the culture that
[5:20] Speaker 2: we live in right now, that I, as a pastor,
[5:26] Speaker 2: have to live separated from being a pastor just a son. Michael,
[5:34] Speaker 2: I need to see what you're doing. If you was
[5:36] Speaker 2: not preparing to give a message to nobody.
[5:41] Speaker 3: That don't count no more.
[5:44] Speaker 2: Now, let me tell you a lot of your pastors
[5:46] Speaker 2: they count they devotion, it's work study. They preparing to
[5:51] Speaker 2: tell you something, so they get a little.
[5:52] Speaker 3: Nibble on the side.
[5:55] Speaker 2: But this is how you can actually be doing something
[5:58] Speaker 2: like this and not have a real relationship with God. Okay,
[6:02] Speaker 2: I'm giving too much information. I'm being transparent right now.
[6:06] Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit told me, he say everything you do
[6:08] Speaker 2: for the church don't count no more.
[6:11] Speaker 3: Okay, I want to see.
[6:15] Speaker 2: How often you pray when it's not about that. How
[6:21] Speaker 2: often are you encouraging and generous outside of your tithe
[6:26] Speaker 2: and offering.
[6:27] Speaker 3: That don't count no more?
[6:29] Speaker 2: That's prerequisite you've been believing, Come up off the baby,
[6:34] Speaker 2: come up off the immature, get into the mature God.
[6:37] Speaker 3: I am mature.
[6:38] Speaker 2: Okay, now we're only counting the things you give to people.
[6:41] Speaker 3: Who don't go to your church. Okay, I see.
[6:45] Speaker 2: I'm not saying this is your standard. I'm talking about
[6:47] Speaker 2: how the Holy Spirit is convicting me. He said, I
[6:50] Speaker 2: want you to grow in me, and that means when
[6:57] Speaker 2: I grow in him, I actually have to mature in him.
[7:04] Speaker 2: The scriptures say when I was a child, I thought
[7:07] Speaker 2: like one, talk like one, and acted like one.
[7:12] Speaker 3: But when I.
[7:14] Speaker 2: Became older, watch this.
[7:16] Speaker 3: This is a key distinction.
[7:17] Speaker 2: It says I put away childish things. Childish things didn't disappear.
[7:25] Speaker 2: You have to pack them up and put them away.
[7:29] Speaker 2: My question is, have you packed up.
[7:34] Speaker 3: Your trigger toys?
[7:38] Speaker 2: Have you packed up your petty playmates? Because nobody Mom's
[7:45] Speaker 2: not gonna do it, Pastor's not gonna do it, your
[7:47] Speaker 2: community is not gonna do it.
[7:48] Speaker 3: You are gonna have.
[7:49] Speaker 2: To say I no longer roll my eyes at people
[7:53] Speaker 2: when I don't like what they're saying.
[7:57] Speaker 3: Uh oh, just right there.
[8:00] Speaker 2: You're gonna have to pack up the petty I may
[8:04] Speaker 2: not understand it right now, but when you go you're
[8:12] Speaker 2: gonna have to pack You're gonna have to pack up
[8:16] Speaker 2: flipping people off when they cut you off. You don't
[8:21] Speaker 2: think we see you, We see you, We see you,
[8:25] Speaker 2: and you just pulled up to the chart. Stop it stop,
[8:30] Speaker 2: they're coming to star. You're gonna have to pack up.
[8:38] Speaker 2: Keep keeping record of wrong for your spouse. Some of
[8:43] Speaker 2: y'all are detectives. You have a full log. No, on
[8:52] Speaker 2: the thirty first, you did cut me off in my conversation.
[8:56] Speaker 2: And remember two days after that, that's when you sleep
[8:58] Speaker 2: on the couch and you step on the couch and
[8:59] Speaker 2: you're going through all of it. But the Bible says
[9:03] Speaker 2: love keeps no record. I'm wrong, yet you got a binder,
[9:16] Speaker 2: And I'm just asking us as a church to pack up.
[9:21] Speaker 2: What's keeping us in daycare? We are in spiritual daycare.
[9:31] Speaker 2: When there is something for us to do. In the streets,
[9:36] Speaker 2: we're arguing over stuff that don't even matter. We're staying
[9:40] Speaker 2: away from people we're supposed to be loving. Okay, so
[9:46] Speaker 2: today I want to give you a cheat code. Now,
[9:53] Speaker 2: when I say a cheat code, there are different people
[9:55] Speaker 2: in the room, and there are some people that feel
[9:59] Speaker 2: like the word cheat period it's a trigger for you.
[10:05] Speaker 2: And what I'm saying is, yeah, there are sometimes when
[10:11] Speaker 2: cheating is not permissible, but there are some other times
[10:17] Speaker 2: not Sometimes cheating on your spouse just hey, unpermissible. Okay,
[10:22] Speaker 2: let me just.
[10:22] Speaker 3: Clear that up. And like he said, some stop, Lord.
[10:30] Speaker 2: Jesus, I gotta always clarify everything. Anyway, there was a
[10:39] Speaker 2: time in my life where I used to play video games.
[10:42] Speaker 2: And I don't know if anybody remembers this device right here,
[10:48] Speaker 2: but this device right here gave me so much joy
[10:50] Speaker 2: in my adolescence. Does anybody know what this is right here?
[10:57] Speaker 2: This is a Nintendo sixty four some of y'all. I'm
[11:05] Speaker 2: so sorry to all of my gen Zers and Alphas
[11:11] Speaker 2: that did not get.
[11:12] Speaker 3: To experience.
[11:15] Speaker 2: The level of excellence. This ain't like the regular Nintendo.
[11:22] Speaker 2: We had three D graphics on this, you hear me.
[11:27] Speaker 2: And I know now you're hooked up to your computering
[11:28] Speaker 2: and got your microphone and on it. But here you
[11:30] Speaker 2: had to play with somebody sitting next to you, y'all
[11:34] Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Like you couldn't be down the street.
[11:36] Speaker 2: We had to ask if Travis could come over, and
[11:40] Speaker 2: it was a whole other level. Usually we had very
[11:42] Speaker 2: small TVs. Y'all got these sixty inches and you got
[11:46] Speaker 2: these big old projectors twelve inches, and if it was
[11:54] Speaker 2: big time and you had a.
[11:55] Speaker 3: Thirty inch, like a.
[11:56] Speaker 2: Thirty inch.
[11:58] Speaker 3: It was big as this screen.
[12:00] Speaker 2: And me and and and and and some of y'all
[12:05] Speaker 2: know that there were times that the game didn't work.
[12:13] Speaker 2: You know you had, y'all. These are the games that
[12:30] Speaker 2: built character.
[12:33] Speaker 3: I'll sound like an uncle here right now for real, but.
[12:37] Speaker 2: But but okay. One of my favorite games on this
[12:41] Speaker 2: was a game called NFL Blitz. And I was raised
[12:46] Speaker 2: in a house with four brothers, and so my mom
[12:49] Speaker 2: and dad would would let us play video games. And
[12:52] Speaker 2: this is one of the crazy things about video games
[12:55] Speaker 2: is that in a in a in a very testosterone
[12:58] Speaker 2: field house with boys, all of us want to win it.
[13:02] Speaker 2: And you know, we didn't have social media at the time.
[13:04] Speaker 2: We didn't have anything else to go through. So winning
[13:06] Speaker 2: a game was the highlight of our weeks, being able
[13:11] Speaker 2: to beat somebody. And this game was powerful. I'm just
[13:15] Speaker 2: giving you an education lesson on Blitz because it was
[13:17] Speaker 2: a blessing.
[13:19] Speaker 3: But what ended up happening.
[13:20] Speaker 2: With this game, it was like it was like football
[13:22] Speaker 2: mixed with wrestling and like you could catch on fire.
[13:27] Speaker 2: Somebody was anointed in making this game. You know, I
[13:29] Speaker 2: wish somebody soul would catch on fight. Long story short,
[13:36] Speaker 2: I remember the day it all changed in our household.
[13:40] Speaker 2: Is that at this game it was about you, if
[13:44] Speaker 2: you could play and pick the right plays. And then
[13:47] Speaker 2: one of my brothers came home one day with a
[13:51] Speaker 2: little sheet. We've never seen exhibit A before in our household,
[13:59] Speaker 2: but he's looking down at it and he's going ABB
[14:02] Speaker 2: up up down down, abbb up up up, And then
[14:05] Speaker 2: I look at the screen and the ball launches and
[14:11] Speaker 2: it just it's a touchdown. And I said, Hi, by,
[14:19] Speaker 2: you know when you snatched somebody's remote, that's how you
[14:22] Speaker 2: know you was getting beat.
[14:23] Speaker 3: Hi, I'll take you a wrong What you're doing?
[14:28] Speaker 2: Ah? Nothing? Next play ABB up up down down side side?
[14:34] Speaker 2: Sid got died up?
[14:36] Speaker 3: What is all that tapping?
[14:39] Speaker 2: Long story short. I found out that he had a
[14:42] Speaker 2: friend at school that had the cheek codes and they
[14:47] Speaker 2: called it a cheat code because back in that day,
[14:50] Speaker 2: you could not look up on Google or Siri. You
[14:53] Speaker 2: had to go buy this book and at the back
[14:56] Speaker 2: of the book it had the cheat code to the game.
[15:02] Speaker 2: I'm about to preach this thing. What if I told
[15:07] Speaker 2: you that you've been looking at this christ thing all wrong.
[15:12] Speaker 2: What if the game of life actually comes with a
[15:16] Speaker 2: book full of sea comp.
[15:21] Speaker 3: What if you could be sitting.
[15:24] Speaker 2: Next to somebody that's looking at the same game, but
[15:29] Speaker 2: you just do one or two different moves instead of
[15:34] Speaker 2: getting ready to fight. You might drop down to your knees.
[15:37] Speaker 2: They go up, you go down, And what ends up
[15:40] Speaker 2: happening is the very same outcome that they were expecting,
[15:46] Speaker 2: you receiving your life every time because you are playing this.
[15:51] Speaker 3: Game with a book full of Jacob.
[15:56] Speaker 2: Today, I just wanted to give you a small message
[15:59] Speaker 2: that may help shape your perspective that the Bible is
[16:03] Speaker 2: not some boring book that you have to endure. That
[16:08] Speaker 2: maybe God put this book on the earth to give
[16:13] Speaker 2: you a cheat code for relationships, a cheat code of
[16:17] Speaker 2: how to keep your family together, a cheat code of
[16:20] Speaker 2: how to actually live fulfilled. And some of y'all are
[16:24] Speaker 2: beating the game system down, knowing that this is the
[16:30] Speaker 2: only way you've ever been able to see results. Some
[16:32] Speaker 2: of y'all are taking y'all games and controllers and going
[16:34] Speaker 2: home because you're sick of the world. You sick of
[16:37] Speaker 2: playing the game. Some of us are doing things and
[16:40] Speaker 2: God saying would you just open.
[16:41] Speaker 6: The book.
[16:44] Speaker 3: And learn these cheek coodes.
[16:48] Speaker 2: So today I'm just gonna title my message. Have you
[16:53] Speaker 2: heard about the cheetcode? Cause in that day that my
[16:58] Speaker 2: brother beat me, I had a revelation that I had
[17:04] Speaker 2: not heard about cheek codes before nobody presented it to me.
[17:09] Speaker 2: So my first thing to my brother is who is
[17:12] Speaker 2: this friend?
[17:14] Speaker 3: Is he my friend too? Because if he's my friend too.
[17:17] Speaker 2: Why.
[17:20] Speaker 3: Why he ain't giving me no little piece of paper?
[17:24] Speaker 2: Could the gospel be a cheak code that some of
[17:26] Speaker 2: you are gatekeeping. You say that's your friend, you say
[17:33] Speaker 2: that's your family, You say you do anything for them
[17:36] Speaker 2: except share your faith, except give them the real answer
[17:41] Speaker 2: to why the relationship is not working, except actually share
[17:45] Speaker 2: your testimony about how God delivered you from this or
[17:48] Speaker 2: the process that you're in right now. And many people
[17:52] Speaker 2: are not giving the world they're family members, their friends,
[17:59] Speaker 2: the cheek colde life.
[18:00] Speaker 3: Watch this because they don't know it.
[18:05] Speaker 2: You can't give away. So the reason why people come
[18:11] Speaker 2: to church and the only person they want to listen
[18:13] Speaker 2: to is the pastor because they think the pasta is
[18:15] Speaker 2: the only one that knows the cheat code, when really
[18:20] Speaker 2: we reach in less people because if only I know
[18:22] Speaker 2: the cheat code, that means I got to be everywhere
[18:25] Speaker 2: you are. But the Bible says go into all go.
[18:29] Speaker 2: They're not even supposed to come here and get the
[18:31] Speaker 2: cheat code. This is where we brush up.
[18:34] Speaker 3: On the cheat code.
[18:35] Speaker 2: This is where he remember up up downtown. This is
[18:38] Speaker 2: where I encourage you. You killed it on that play. But
[18:40] Speaker 2: this is not where they supposed to come. We're supposed
[18:43] Speaker 2: to go to them. I'm supposed to carry the cheat
[18:49] Speaker 2: code with me and give it away, give it away,
[18:52] Speaker 2: give it away, give it away. Now I felt that
[18:56] Speaker 2: olembiscuit from two thousand come out of me. But you're not.
[19:03] Speaker 2: You're not giving anything away because you don't have it.
[19:10] Speaker 2: I would dare say that most people who have spent
[19:13] Speaker 2: decades in church don't have any of the codes. You
[19:20] Speaker 2: you're playing the game, but you don't know any by memory,
[19:23] Speaker 2: and if that iPhone shut down, and if that and
[19:27] Speaker 2: droid don't have no Jews, I couldn't barely say it.
[19:30] Speaker 3: And now I'm just I'm just flaming. I'm just messing
[19:38] Speaker 3: with you.
[19:39] Speaker 2: You look like and No'm just slam.
[19:44] Speaker 3: Listen, I love my chair.
[19:48] Speaker 2: Hear what I'm saying to you, though, If the device
[19:53] Speaker 2: goes dead, so does your faith. Hear what I just said.

[20:04] Speaker 2: device goes dead, if you can't listen to Pastor Michae
[20:08] Speaker 2: on YouTube, if your Bible app plan gets read, or
[20:14] Speaker 2: I'm taken down, where is your faith outside of your device?
[20:26] Speaker 2: And today, that's why I'm telling you. I want us
[20:29] Speaker 2: to get the cheek codes. Okay, So this is where
[20:31] Speaker 2: I want to help everybody understand. When I was talking
[20:34] Speaker 2: about maturing, this is a message that's meat that you
[20:38] Speaker 2: got to mature to swallow this. And so I don't
[20:40] Speaker 2: want you to think I'm coming at you. I'm trying
[20:42] Speaker 2: to give you what the word says so that we
[20:45] Speaker 2: can grow up. First Corinthians fourteen twenty it says, brothers,
[20:49] Speaker 2: do not be children in your thinking. But if you're
[20:53] Speaker 2: gonna be a baby in anything, be an infant and evil.
[21:01] Speaker 2: Some us a big, full grown and evil, but babies
[21:05] Speaker 2: in our thinking. It says, brothers, do not be children
[21:08] Speaker 2: in your thinking. Be infant and evil, but in your
[21:10] Speaker 2: thinking be.
[21:12] Speaker 3: What's that word?
[21:15] Speaker 2: Today, I'm gonna asking you to be mature in your
[21:17] Speaker 2: thinking about what God has left. So the first point
[21:22] Speaker 2: I want to give you right now is Christ is
[21:25] Speaker 2: the cheap.
[21:25] Speaker 3: Code, period.
[21:30] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ is the cheat code. Watch this to eternity.
[21:37] Speaker 2: I just want everybody to understand. If you don't get
[21:39] Speaker 2: nothing else right, get Jesus right. If your marriage is
[21:46] Speaker 2: ah and you'll walk is aye, and you're like.
[21:50] Speaker 3: You're not gonna be able to fix all of those.
[21:51] Speaker 2: Things before you get the first thing right, the first
[21:55] Speaker 2: thing you need in your life period. I don't care
[21:58] Speaker 2: if you still smoking, drinking, doing keep doing it.
[22:02] Speaker 3: Just get Jesus.
[22:05] Speaker 2: Because he's the only one that can help you change
[22:08] Speaker 2: those habits. He's the only one that can still look
[22:12] Speaker 2: at you with love and not judgment and say yeah,
[22:14] Speaker 2: I call No, I'm not judging you based on that.
[22:17] Speaker 2: I do not like what you're doing right there, but
[22:19] Speaker 2: come here, you love. I love you so much and
[22:21] Speaker 2: I care about you and I need you. And I
[22:24] Speaker 2: know you've been in that sexually alternate lifestyle.
[22:26] Speaker 3: But I still call you daughter.
[22:27] Speaker 2: And I still call you son, and I still want
[22:30] Speaker 2: you to come home. No, no, no, no, no. I
[22:32] Speaker 2: know everybody else is judging you, but I love you.
[22:35] Speaker 3: Matter of fact. I made you, and you know.
[22:37] Speaker 2: What, before you in formed in your mother's wounds, I
[22:39] Speaker 2: had plans for you, and I plan to prosper you.
[22:41] Speaker 3: And not to harm you.
[22:42] Speaker 2: You did get distracted, but I'm a good daddy.

[22:46] Speaker 2: I'll put a ring on your finger and a robe
[22:48] Speaker 2: on your back. I'll put sandals on your feet. And
[22:51] Speaker 2: I love you right where you're at. But I ain't

[23:00] Speaker 2: religious spirit, I feel the religious raising up, I feel
[23:07] Speaker 2: the peace to I feel the people that forgot about
[23:10] Speaker 2: the grace they needed. When I start talking like that,

[23:15] Speaker 3: Why do they deserve?
[23:16] Speaker 2: Wait? Do you know what we deserve? Any of us?
[23:22] Speaker 3: Death, hell and damnation. Do you hear what I'm saying?
[23:24] Speaker 2: Like but grace but mercy. Christ is the cheat code.
[23:39] Speaker 2: If you are not connecting with Christ daily, what you
[23:42] Speaker 2: were doing is living outside Watch this of the provided
[23:47] Speaker 2: for promise. There's nothing like you having food in the
[23:55] Speaker 2: house and your kids still say they're hungry. Now, you
[24:00] Speaker 2: don't understand this. If you don't got kids and mom
[24:04] Speaker 2: and Dad. I want to say I'm publicly I'm sorry
[24:06] Speaker 2: for all of the years, but now I get it.
[24:11] Speaker 2: I mean full down, so hungry, there's there's there's tons
[24:21] Speaker 2: gonna pick you something. Well, I didn't want that.
[24:26] Speaker 6: Oh that's a different problem.
[24:30] Speaker 2: That's a problem of preference, not provision.
[24:35] Speaker 3: And and I need I need, I need us.
[24:37] Speaker 2: To see a lot of us have provision problems that
[24:41] Speaker 2: we have. We have, we have preference problems that we're
[24:44] Speaker 2: calling provision problems. God does provide, but because we didn't
[24:50] Speaker 2: want no sandwich, I don't want to turkey and chese
