[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are Kanya's
[0:17] Speaker 2: on the Gold Mic today. That's right? Does it feel? Oh?
[0:22] Speaker 2: What's up?
[0:24] Speaker 1: Just spitting game?
[0:25] Speaker 2: Oh? Hate that? Hate that for you, hate that for
[0:30] Speaker 2: us collectively. How you're doing? You know, how.
[0:34] Speaker 1: You're doing good? Just getting by? How are you doing?
[0:40] Speaker 2: Why are you just getting by?
[0:41] Speaker 1: You know?
[0:42] Speaker 3: The ripe old age of thirty eight is when things
[0:45] Speaker 3: start to happen hit you quick.
[0:47] Speaker 1: Life comes at you quick.
[0:48] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[0:49] Speaker 1: And uh, you know I used to.
[0:50] Speaker 3: Have like things, hurts and pains and stuff, and I
[0:54] Speaker 3: would just muscle through them. And that's what I was
[0:56] Speaker 3: doing the last like two weeks, working out, living life,
[0:59] Speaker 3: putting on my way best, running up a hill.
[1:02] Speaker 1: Yeah I probably did some serious damage. Yeah.
[1:06] Speaker 3: So now I'm paying the price and my back is
[1:10] Speaker 3: so bad.
[1:13] Speaker 1: But we're out here.
[1:14] Speaker 2: What is it?
[1:15] Speaker 1: It's a backspasm?
[1:18] Speaker 2: I am so First of all, she told me she
[1:21] Speaker 2: had a back spasm, but she's had it for about
[1:24] Speaker 2: a week and she thought it was just a sore muscle,
[1:26] Speaker 2: like from working out, and so she's been doing her
[1:28] Speaker 2: regular scheduled programming. Oh my god, that's the worst thing
[1:33] Speaker 2: you can do. I know.
[1:37] Speaker 3: Out yeah, but you know that they're gun hurt. So
[1:40] Speaker 3: I was like, no paint, no gain, no paint, no game.
[1:44] Speaker 3: Turns out that's not true.
[1:47] Speaker 2: Pain. You do gain pain. Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, So
[1:52] Speaker 2: what's what's what's the remedy.
[1:55] Speaker 3: I'm doing acupuncture, I'm seeing a chiropractor today, and I'm
[1:59] Speaker 3: now taking it here. I'm not working out for a week.
[2:01] Speaker 3: I'm not even walking like I am staying still.
[2:06] Speaker 2: But did you tell your doctor that you wore a
[2:08] Speaker 2: weighted vest while seated here at the office? Did you
[2:12] Speaker 2: let him know about that?
[2:13] Speaker 1: I'm seeing him later today. I will let him know.
[2:15] Speaker 3: Don't worry, I will. I will totally wrap myself. I
[2:18] Speaker 3: just want to make sure we're covering. Yeah yeah, yeah,
[2:22] Speaker 3: but yes, I am taking it seriously now, and I'm really.
[2:25] Speaker 2: Sorry you're going through that. Back pain is like I
[2:29] Speaker 2: so weirdly enough, I last week I decided to build this.
[2:35] Speaker 2: We got our outdoor couch, and I was just like,
[2:37] Speaker 2: I can do this myself, and I looked into hiring
[2:41] Speaker 2: a task grabbit, but he wasn't going to get there
[2:44] Speaker 2: for till later, and we had somewhere to go, and
[2:46] Speaker 2: I thought, I'm going to do it myself, so I
[2:48] Speaker 2: start building it. It's so hard. I'm like, I have
[2:51] Speaker 2: no idea what I'm doing. Haley's social media person, Nicole,
[2:55] Speaker 2: was there and was willing to help me and said
[2:58] Speaker 2: that they would have fun doing it. So I said,
[3:00] Speaker 2: you were like, nah, I got no, no, no, that was
[3:04] Speaker 2: like dying. So we build it and I realized two
[3:09] Speaker 2: of the like they sent me two of the same sides,
[3:12] Speaker 2: so one of the sides I couldn't even put together.
[3:14] Speaker 2: And then we set it up in the spot that
[3:17] Speaker 2: it was going and I was like, I don't like it.
[3:19] Speaker 2: After all that, I could barely stand up. My back
[3:23] Speaker 2: was so stiff.
[3:24] Speaker 1: But what did it do? Did it last you?
[3:26] Speaker 2: Just the day my back paint?
[3:28] Speaker 1: Uh huh?
[3:28] Speaker 2: Well, I just did like a bunch of stretches and
[3:31] Speaker 2: I took some advil and I just you were just fine.
[3:35] Speaker 2: I was fine, got ready for the party and went off.
[3:38] Speaker 2: But I was so tired and dehydrated because I was like,
[3:41] Speaker 2: I'm not getting I'm not eating or drinking till I
[3:44] Speaker 2: finished this project. And then we didn't even like it.
[3:47] Speaker 2: I was so bummed. But the back pain, I literally
[3:50] Speaker 2: felt like an old man. I could barely stand up
[3:52] Speaker 2: at a straight, straight angle.
[3:53] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[3:54] Speaker 3: The sleeping is like because then I laid down. It's
[3:56] Speaker 3: it's like the worst and I literally woke up. I
[3:58] Speaker 3: don't even know time was I start ba in bed.
[4:01] Speaker 3: Robbie's like, can I move the pillows in a different way?
[4:03] Speaker 3: Do you want to be on your side like I tried, backside, stomach,
[4:06] Speaker 3: other side like I was. I tried every position?
[4:08] Speaker 2: Do you have an actual lumbar pillow or is it
[4:11] Speaker 2: I should have brought you mine what I ordered one
[4:14] Speaker 2: because my bad paint sometimes give me that link.
[4:20] Speaker 1: And then Hayley, we'll.
[4:21] Speaker 2: Use it, and I'm like, god, we are literally an
[4:23] Speaker 2: elderly couple. This is so bad, but it really helps,
[4:27] Speaker 2: and it's so different than having just a pillow.
[4:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[4:31] Speaker 3: So you know, I'm just like at the stage of
[4:34] Speaker 3: my life where I'm gonna start really examining my habits
[4:38] Speaker 3: and re examining them and just.
[4:42] Speaker 1: Taking a little bit better care of myself. How was
[4:43] Speaker 1: your weekend?
[4:44] Speaker 2: My weekend was great. We had a pretty chill weekend.
[4:47] Speaker 2: On Friday, we went to a Dwali party, which was
[4:49] Speaker 2: so fun.
[4:50] Speaker 1: I saw photos.
[4:51] Speaker 2: It's so fun.
[4:53] Speaker 1: What is Dwali?
[4:54] Speaker 2: So Duwali is the celebrating it's a religious celebration.
[4:57] Speaker 1: It's always in my calendar.
[4:59] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, it's a holiday. But it's celebrating light
[5:03] Speaker 2: over darkness. So Lily Lily Singing throws it and it's
[5:06] Speaker 2: called love and Light. It's but it is so fun
[5:09] Speaker 2: because we get to to everyone dresses up and it
[5:12] Speaker 2: is she goes all out. It is it's huge.
[5:16] Speaker 1: How many people I'm.
[5:18] Speaker 2: Bad at that? I'm bad at that? Like you're about it, okay,
[5:21] Speaker 2: but if you had to guess two hundred, holy yeah,
[5:24] Speaker 2: it looked like a massive space. Yeah yeah yeah, but she.
[5:30] Speaker 1: How do you even get two hundred people to something?
[5:33] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. It's a it's a feat. Yeah,
[5:36] Speaker 2: and it's impressive, it is. But it was really fun
[5:39] Speaker 2: and I literally, aside from building the couch that day,
[5:44] Speaker 2: all I had that night I had. I had a
[5:46] Speaker 2: tequila shot, like a baby shot, so it wasn't even
[5:48] Speaker 2: like a full shot. And then I didn't even finish
[5:51] Speaker 2: my cocktail and.
[5:53] Speaker 1: I literally felt so drunk so.
[5:56] Speaker 2: Bad the next day, like tire, like almost hung over,
[5:59] Speaker 2: but I'm like, she did be grouping up?
[6:02] Speaker 1: Yea, yeah, what birthday is this?
[6:06] Speaker 2: I'm going to be thirty seven.
[6:08] Speaker 1: Yeah, enjoying the last three sixty by.
[6:14] Speaker 2: We had the most chill Saturday ever, Like we barely
[6:18] Speaker 2: did anything. We went on a walk kind of in
[6:21] Speaker 2: the evening and then had dinner and just chilled. And
[6:24] Speaker 2: then yesterday I finally got the like we put in
[6:29] Speaker 2: this massive it's a it's called a swim spa, so
[6:32] Speaker 2: it's it's like huge d'acuzi, but you can also use it.
[6:37] Speaker 2: It has like a these really strong jets, so you
[6:39] Speaker 2: can swim laps in it, so it's like pushing against you.
[6:42] Speaker 2: I haven't done that part yet, but it probably won't.
[6:46] Speaker 1: I don't moved on for.
[6:47] Speaker 2: The Dwali party like it was okay, I was talking
[6:50] Speaker 2: about you didn't ask any other questions.
[6:52] Speaker 1: Well, hello, where I saw major celeb sightings?
[6:56] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, are you talking about Chapel?
[6:58] Speaker 1: Yes?
[6:59] Speaker 2: Yeah, Well Haley?
[7:00] Speaker 1: Is she cool? Was she cool? Was she nice? Was
[7:03] Speaker 1: she fun? Was she dancing?
[7:05] Speaker 2: Did you come to the party where Haley was dressed
[7:08] Speaker 2: like the Grinch?
[7:09] Speaker 1: Yeah? And you were Cindy Lou or yeah, Martha.
[7:11] Speaker 2: May Martha may Chapel was there that night.
[7:15] Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you.
[7:16] Speaker 2: But yeah, so they're they're like friends. So she but
[7:20] Speaker 2: we were shocked to see her. I'm like, you're just
[7:23] Speaker 2: out and.
[7:23] Speaker 1: About Yeah, is she like on tour right now? Yeah?
[7:26] Speaker 2: I don't, yeah, but she's really sweet and normal. I
[7:31] Speaker 2: just was like, congrats on everything else? Do you say, yeah,
[7:33] Speaker 2: congratulations on life?
[7:35] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[7:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, things are going well well Yeah, swimming so yeah,
[7:40] Speaker 2: light love and light. I'm trying to think. I mean,
[7:47] Speaker 2: we saw a lot of people, Jay Shatty and Roddy. Yeah.
[7:52] Speaker 2: Jay's so nice because, like I see, he interviews the
[7:56] Speaker 2: top of the like he's friends and connected with the
[7:59] Speaker 2: top of the top in terms of celebrity world. And
[8:03] Speaker 2: every time I see him, he seeks me out to
[8:06] Speaker 2: say hello, Me and Haley. It's so coazing. And I
[8:09] Speaker 2: know that that that feels like the bare minimum, but
[8:13] Speaker 2: when you're in this space and you're in these parties
[8:15] Speaker 2: in this industry, it's very rare. Totally.
[8:18] Speaker 1: So he they invited us over for like a game
[8:21] Speaker 1: night one night.
[8:22] Speaker 3: Rob and I went and we didn't know anybody else
[8:25] Speaker 3: aside from Jay and Roddy obviously, and it was so fun.
[8:30] Speaker 3: They like made everybody feel so comfortable and welcome, and
[8:33] Speaker 3: we all just like got along so well and it
[8:36] Speaker 3: was really really fun.
[8:37] Speaker 1: They have like a really good vibe.
[8:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, and you it's interesting they're welcoming, but also the
[8:42] Speaker 2: people that they surround themselves with are the same vibe.
[8:45] Speaker 1: Yeah. Like we all were just like, okay, we're all
[8:48] Speaker 1: friends now. Yeah, like playing all these games. It was
[8:50] Speaker 1: so cute.
[8:51] Speaker 2: Guess who else was there?
[8:53] Speaker 1: Oh? I love this?
[8:55] Speaker 3: Okay, TV world yes, movie world, No, singer world so
[9:04] Speaker 3: so TV.
[9:05] Speaker 1: Actor, actor, actress?
[9:07] Speaker 2: Not an actor, oh, producer no, Jeff Probes, No, he
[9:14] Speaker 2: could have been there.
[9:14] Speaker 3: I didn't see him, am I Okay? Maybe one more
[9:18] Speaker 3: hint so TV but not actor.
[9:20] Speaker 2: Recently on the pod.
[9:23] Speaker 1: On our pod, Oh yeah, Reality.
[9:28] Speaker 2: TV to see her and I went up and said hey,
[9:30] Speaker 2: And then I was like, she's She definitely acted like
[9:33] Speaker 2: she did, so I'm not sure if she really did,
[9:37] Speaker 2: but she definitely did a great job pretending if she didn't.
[9:42] Speaker 2: I always clock myself, what do you mean.
[9:45] Speaker 3: Like if I go up to somebody that I'm seeing,
[9:47] Speaker 3: because it's like you're out of your element, you know.
[9:50] Speaker 3: I'm sure if she saw you in a podcasting conference.
[9:52] Speaker 3: She'd be like, oh, yeah, that's the girl.
[9:54] Speaker 1: I podcast last week.
[9:55] Speaker 3: No, but like when you see people in context, it's
[9:58] Speaker 3: like different. I feel like then when you them at
[10:00] Speaker 3: like a party random that you don't even know, you
[10:02] Speaker 3: know exactly. So I was clock people and I'm like, hey, hey.
[10:07] Speaker 1: Bosma, you just said my podcast grubbing it. Remember you
[10:10] Speaker 1: wearing the red Yeah.
[10:11] Speaker 2: But she did such a good job at acting like
[10:14] Speaker 2: she knew who I was. I didn't even get to
[10:16] Speaker 2: that point. Oh okay, I was like, oh my, my,
[10:19] Speaker 2: my fiance. Haley pointed you out and she loves you,
[10:23] Speaker 2: and so she was like, where is she? And so
[10:25] Speaker 2: Haley came over and saiday, because Haley's a huge fan.
[10:27] Speaker 1: Did she watch the Real Housewives?
[10:29] Speaker 2: No? Just from her business entrepreneurship.
[10:32] Speaker 1: Yeah. Wowow, so it.
[10:35] Speaker 2: Was really fun. That was really fun. Again, she recognized me.
[10:38] Speaker 1: I love this.
[10:39] Speaker 2: I was there. Oh yeah, I said. I was like,
[10:42] Speaker 2: my friend Tanya spent some time with you at the wedding,
[10:45] Speaker 2: and she was like, we love Tanya. So yeah, it
[10:50] Speaker 2: was it was a party.
[10:51] Speaker 1: Wow, sounds like a party.
[10:53] Speaker 2: It was really fun though.
[10:54] Speaker 3: Mer Saturday night and my Saturday night could not have
[10:56] Speaker 3: been more different. I couldn't even get it.
[10:58] Speaker 2: That was a Friday night. Saturday night, we probably had
[11:01] Speaker 2: a very similar.
[11:01] Speaker 3: Uh yeah, sat on my donut eating a donut, No,
[11:06] Speaker 3: eating a cinnamon roll.
[11:09] Speaker 1: It was like the gluten free, dairy free one.
[11:11] Speaker 2: I didn't do that.
[11:12] Speaker 1: It was so not worth it.
[11:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I made so you know how Paulina made
[11:18] Speaker 2: those sweet potato brownies that y'all really raped about. Haley
[11:22] Speaker 2: was craving them. So I got the recipe from Paulina
[11:25] Speaker 2: and I made them and I was like, I don't
[11:29] Speaker 2: know what these are supposed to taste like, but bad.
[11:32] Speaker 2: I brought them over to Haley and she was like,
[11:35] Speaker 2: this texture is very weird.
[11:36] Speaker 1: I love the texture.
[11:38] Speaker 2: It's very spongy. Yeah okay, so that was right, Yeah okay,
[11:42] Speaker 2: But then her first bite she made a face and
[11:45] Speaker 2: I was like, you don't have to eat them. My problem,
[11:47] Speaker 2: Like she didn't like it, but then she went back
[11:50] Speaker 2: for more.
[11:50] Speaker 3: So she used to be such a treat because to me,
[11:53] Speaker 3: brownies are so rich that I don't enjoy them. This
[11:56] Speaker 3: brownie is not as rich. It's like a little hint
[11:59] Speaker 3: of chocolate. I love a sweet potato.
[12:01] Speaker 1: Let me tell you.
[12:02] Speaker 3: Something, if there are Easties come back on twenty twenty six.
[12:05] Speaker 3: The sweet potato needs its own category because I love
[12:07] Speaker 3: them in as like a mix of things. I love
[12:10] Speaker 3: them raw, like like a potato. I love them like fried,
[12:16] Speaker 3: I love them cubed. I love sweet potato as a
[12:19] Speaker 3: replacement for things inside baked goods. I love a sweet potato.
[12:24] Speaker 2: How dare you say if the Easty Awards come back?
[12:27] Speaker 1: So sorry, I didn't want to put pressure on you after.
[12:30] Speaker 2: Last year's performance. Do you think he's gonna stop while
[12:33] Speaker 2: he's on the up and up?
[12:34] Speaker 1: No?
[12:35] Speaker 3: No, no, So when they come back, I would please really
[12:37] Speaker 3: enjoy a special sweet potato category.
[12:39] Speaker 2: Maybe you can come present it.
[12:41] Speaker 3: Yes, I can present it. If do I get to
[12:43] Speaker 3: If I get to pick it too, well, no, okay,
[12:46] Speaker 3: we'll talk.
[12:47] Speaker 2: We'll no. No, if you don't get.
[12:48] Speaker 3: The way, I like them every way, so there's no
[12:51] Speaker 3: winner or loser for me, to be honest.
[12:55] Speaker 1: I I came up. I did something very I feel
[13:01] Speaker 1: very like Taylor swiftish if you will this weekend, but
[13:05] Speaker 1: I'll tell you after we come back from the break.
[13:31] Speaker 2: All right, we're back. So you felt very Taylor swiftish, Yes, weekend.
[13:37] Speaker 4: So.
[13:40] Speaker 3: As I'm in my like soft girl era. Robbie could
[13:43] Speaker 3: not be more opposite than me. Like he's literally in
[13:45] Speaker 3: his like grind era, like whatever he's doing, So we're
[13:49] Speaker 3: on like total opposite what's grinding like work or what
[13:53] Speaker 3: no like with his like workouts, like he's like waited
[13:56] Speaker 3: best and do this and Macro's and like you know,
[13:59] Speaker 3: in that world. And I'm like, could not be farther
[14:02] Speaker 3: from that right now, Like I'm like, walk pilates, do
[14:05] Speaker 3: what my body feels, eat warm foods, nourishing, you know,
[14:09] Speaker 3: Like I'm just in that phase, right But we do
[14:12] Speaker 3: enjoy walking together, Like that's something that I love to
[14:14] Speaker 3: do quality time. So we went on a walk and
[14:18] Speaker 3: we were deciding whether we wanted to go uphill or downhill,
[14:21] Speaker 3: and we he wanted to go uphill.
[14:23] Speaker 1: I wanted to go downhill. We ended up going uphill.
[14:26] Speaker 2: I created a song, Wait, don't you have to go
[14:29] Speaker 2: uphill if you go downhill?
[14:31] Speaker 3: So yes, technically you have to go up and down
[14:34] Speaker 3: both ways. But if you go the uphill is much
[14:38] Speaker 3: harder than if you go downhill first and then back up.
[14:41] Speaker 3: The up is much steeper, So you're going up waist
[14:43] Speaker 3: steeper than you would be going up if you went
[14:45] Speaker 3: down first?
[14:46] Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
[14:47] Speaker 2: Sure?
[14:48] Speaker 3: So I created a song and it's been honestly stuck
[14:51] Speaker 3: in my head all weekend.
[14:53] Speaker 2: You got some good hooks, you have some hooky music, right, Yeah?
[14:57] Speaker 2: How does it go?
[14:58] Speaker 1: Sack?
[14:59] Speaker 4: We're fun for love?
[15:02] Speaker 1: But should in the.
[15:05] Speaker 4: Sacrifice to sacrifices for love.
[15:12] Speaker 1: It's a thankless job because.
[15:14] Speaker 4: You get up and do what you want sacrifice for love.
[15:21] Speaker 2: Sacrifice that makes sense. That's wonderful.
[15:28] Speaker 1: Another thank you. I was waiting for the applause.
[15:31] Speaker 2: Another bop bop that we should use to get you
[15:35] Speaker 2: in front of Taylor for some songwriting sessions.
[15:38] Speaker 1: It's honestly was stuck in my head all weekend.
[15:40] Speaker 3: I kept singing it anytime he would we would do
[15:42] Speaker 3: something that like he wanted to do, is like watch
[15:44] Speaker 3: football or.
[15:45] Speaker 2: Like or like you should make it.
[15:49] Speaker 1: A sound Sacrifices for love.
[15:54] Speaker 2: There's a really intense eye contact happening right now.
[15:58] Speaker 1: You get up and do what you want? Who Sack
[16:02] Speaker 1: refies be love?
[16:04] Speaker 2: Great? Yeah, thank you for sharing that.
[16:08] Speaker 1: You're welcome.
[16:08] Speaker 2: Did you start the artist way?
[16:10] Speaker 1: Oh? Yes? Did you good? No? Becca?
[16:13] Speaker 3: Well we ever talked about it. Well, we were supposed
[16:16] Speaker 3: to start last Monday.
[16:16] Speaker 2: I know, but then we never talked about it, so I.
[16:19] Speaker 1: Didn't actually technically start start.
[16:21] Speaker 3: I read the like intro that oh okay, So basically
[16:25] Speaker 3: it tells you seven to ten hours a week, which
[16:27] Speaker 3: I thought, Hell, I probably won't finish in the twelve weeks,
[16:31] Speaker 3: which I'm okay with. I might take a little bit longer,
[16:35] Speaker 3: but I will get to the end.
[16:36] Speaker 2: One thing about the artist way is it's your own journey.
[16:38] Speaker 3: Yes, so when I saw seven to ten hours, I
[16:40] Speaker 3: thought this might take me a year to finish. But
[16:44] Speaker 3: by the end of the year, I'm going to be
[16:46] Speaker 3: a changed woman. But yeah, so the journaling, three pages
[16:52] Speaker 3: of journaling every single morning, that's kind of where it
[16:54] Speaker 3: throws me, because when your girl gets up very early,
[16:57] Speaker 3: the thought of journaling three pages feels a little doing.
[17:01] Speaker 2: Well, my big you have to do it. My biggest
[17:03] Speaker 2: mistake was buying a I got really excited when I
[17:06] Speaker 2: got the book and I went and got like, this
[17:08] Speaker 2: really cute journal, but the pages are huge, So three pages,
[17:13] Speaker 2: like I had carpal tunnel basically trying to write.
[17:16] Speaker 1: No, I just forgot like one of those little spiral notebooks.
[17:18] Speaker 2: Right, I should wait, what, like what size?
[17:21] Speaker 1: I don't know, Like the kids use school okay, seventy wide.
[17:25] Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know. I'm not in that world, so
[17:28] Speaker 2: I can't tell you. So what did you think about
[17:31] Speaker 2: my prank?
[17:34] Speaker 1: Robbie thought it was hilarious?
[17:36] Speaker 2: Let me tell you, because sometimes I don't know if
[17:39] Speaker 2: he's gonna like go along with me or like ruin
[17:41] Speaker 2: it for me.
[17:41] Speaker 1: I feel like he'd go along with.
[17:42] Speaker 2: It sometimes I don't know, though.
[17:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, but I have my girl, and Nicole had my back.
[17:47] Speaker 2: I wasn't gonna shout her out her name because it's fine.
[17:50] Speaker 2: The people were upset.
[17:51] Speaker 1: Who was upset?
[17:52] Speaker 2: My Tilly Tots?
[17:55] Speaker 1: The Tilly Tots were probably so upset I was. I
[17:59] Speaker 1: was more upset that she was the only one out
[18:02] Speaker 1: of all. I was like.
[18:04] Speaker 3: I started seeing the comments on the actual video and
[18:07] Speaker 3: I was like, this is weird. But I didn't think
[18:09] Speaker 3: any suspicious behavior. Yeah, and I was like, this is weird.
[18:12] Speaker 3: People are just like rattling me. But then I started
[18:15] Speaker 3: getting dms, like hundreds of dms. That's when I was
[18:18] Speaker 3: like something's happening, Like this is so weird.
[18:21] Speaker 2: I was so proud of everyone in The comments were
[18:25] Speaker 2: so funny, like they got so creative and how they were.
[18:29] Speaker 3: Yeah, like I love the Christmas colors. I was like,
[18:32] Speaker 3: it's not Christmas. It's green and orange.
[18:34] Speaker 2: But then even when like I had several people reach
[18:38] Speaker 2: out and after I said, you know, someone already someone
[18:42] Speaker 2: ruined it. Huh, and they were like, I'm either way,
[18:45] Speaker 2: it's still red.
[18:48] Speaker 1: It's not. It's just not.
[18:51] Speaker 2: And then Pauline wrote me and goes, it's orange. I
[18:55] Speaker 2: was like, okay, but at the very least you have
[18:57] Speaker 2: to admit it's like blood orange and red orange.
[19:01] Speaker 3: No, the colors of Tenderfest are orange well, and when
[19:07] Speaker 3: fixed their.
[19:07] Speaker 2: Merch being a little red, someone didn't get the sample.
[19:11] Speaker 1: Okay, it was very creative.
[19:12] Speaker 3: I was just a little bit bewildered and dumbfounded that
[19:15] Speaker 3: it took that long for somebody to tell me what
[19:18] Speaker 3: was actually going on. I was like, where are my
[19:20] Speaker 3: Tanya tats at? It was they were playing along with
[19:23] Speaker 3: the gang.
[19:23] Speaker 2: Because I appreciate it. It's an innocent enough prank people,
[19:28] Speaker 2: it's fun.
[19:28] Speaker 1: It was not innocent. It was spiking cortisol.
[19:31] Speaker 2: It was. But your responses and all caps saying it's
[19:34] Speaker 2: orange to so many people was I literally was giggling
[19:38] Speaker 2: the whole time looking through the comments, it was it
[19:40] Speaker 2: was joyful for me. I'm so glad I brought you joy. Yeah.
[19:45] Speaker 1: But yeah, Robbie thought it was so. It's so funny.
[19:48] Speaker 1: Ship back. I was so funny.
[19:49] Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, yeah, oh I did something really big
[19:54] Speaker 3: this week.
[19:55] Speaker 2: You do?
[19:56] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, do we need to take another break?
[19:57] Speaker 2: No, we don't. So do we talk about some something
[20:00] Speaker 2: else and then you can tease it. Okay, you did
[20:02] Speaker 2: something really big this week. We'll get back to that.
[20:04] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Sally, your birthday or your Halloween?
[20:07] Speaker 1: Yeah? What are you gonna do? What are your plans
[20:10] Speaker 1: for birthday? What you for Halloween?
[20:12] Speaker 2: Nay? Maybe we are doing a spa day okay, and
[20:16] Speaker 2: then like dinner with you know uh.
[20:21] Speaker 1: As you get older? Yeah, and you like are now
[20:24] Speaker 1: engaged to be married?
[20:27] Speaker 2: Right.
[20:28] Speaker 3: I never want to like overstep, so I'm always like
[20:31] Speaker 3: hounding you, like what do you want to do?
[20:32] Speaker 1: What do you want to do?
[20:33] Speaker 3: But then I'm like, I don't want to overstep, and
[20:35] Speaker 3: like obviously, if Haley's planning something, I just want to
[20:38] Speaker 3: like let her do it. But I want to offer
[20:40] Speaker 3: my help and services, but I don't want to be
[20:42] Speaker 3: pushy with her because like it's not like you do
[20:45] Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So I'm finding myself in
[20:47] Speaker 3: like a little bit of a conundrum.
[20:51] Speaker 2: I think, just relax, show up. I think one thing
[20:54] Speaker 2: Hailey knows about you that she's like really like, I
[20:58] Speaker 2: think she's appreciated you as a best friend to me
[21:01] Speaker 2: for so long, but I think during the engagement process
[21:04] Speaker 2: and party and all that she really was like, Wow,
[21:07] Speaker 2: Tanya is really amazing. So I think if she needs.
[21:11] Speaker 1: Help, she'll reach she'll reach out.
[21:13] Speaker 2: Okay, I told her if you I don't really have
[21:16] Speaker 2: a big plan where she should need a lot of help,
[21:19] Speaker 2: but if she should find herself in that position, okay,
[21:22] Speaker 2: she knows to reach out to you. Okay, so thank
[21:25] Speaker 2: you so much.
[21:26] Speaker 1: But I drove me a couple like seeds for her,
[21:29] Speaker 1: so she ticularly.
[21:32] Speaker 2: Well, it's so funny because she goes. I really appreciate
[21:38] Speaker 2: that you do a trip every year because that makes
[21:40] Speaker 2: it so much easier because it's just like the trip
[21:43] Speaker 2: is the birthday and like there's not a whole lot
[21:45] Speaker 2: of like needing to court. I'm sorry I keep hitting
[21:47] Speaker 2: the mic.
[21:48] Speaker 1: Really, that was the first time I heard it.
[21:49] Speaker 2: Oh, it's like it's just done. The birthday celebration is
[21:54] Speaker 2: pretty much done, aside from like scheduling a reservation to
[21:57] Speaker 2: go to dinner or the airbnb, you know. But she
[22:00] Speaker 2: was like, it's I get why you like doing that
[22:02] Speaker 2: because I'm like, what should we do? Where should we go?
[22:05] Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, wherever. I'm fine. I don't really.
[22:09] Speaker 1: Whatever birthday trip seems. Are you guys going away?
[22:12] Speaker 2: No, so that we're doing the Halloween party. So although
[22:16] Speaker 2: I think we might end up doing like another trip
[22:19] Speaker 2: in November because I think I'm gonna miss getting away
[22:23] Speaker 2: for my birthday, but we went to I did Vegas
[22:26] Speaker 2: and I did Nashville, so I was nervous. I was
[22:28] Speaker 2: going to be too, just traveled out and just wanted
[22:31] Speaker 2: to be home. But my sister Henk is flying and
[22:34] Speaker 2: her girlfriend Morgan are flying in, so they're gonna be
[22:37] Speaker 2: there for the weekend. It'll be fun.
[22:38] Speaker 1: I got the head count, Oh did you okay?
[22:41] Speaker 2: I figured you had all that. Yeah, so I'm turning
[22:44] Speaker 2: thirty seven. Wow, not really much. It's not like a
[22:51] Speaker 2: what do you call it? A milestone? Here? By any means,
[22:54] Speaker 2: every year is a milestone year being alive as a milestone. Yes,
[22:57] Speaker 2: and I'm very grateful for another year. And I'm very
[22:59] Speaker 2: happy going into thirty seven. And I'm very excited about
[23:02] Speaker 2: what thirty seven holds for little me.
[23:06] Speaker 3: It doesn't hold a wedding, No, No, thirty eight is
[23:10] Speaker 3: the year for that.
[23:11] Speaker 2: I think it'll be a thirty eight year Okay, yeah,
[23:15] Speaker 2: maybe thirty nine depending on what time. Maybe are we
[23:18] Speaker 2: doing which Its like that would be crazy.
[23:21] Speaker 1: If we Oh, I've known people that were engaged for
[23:23] Speaker 1: five years.
[23:24] Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm yeah, I'm I personally am very content,
[23:28] Speaker 2: like I'm not if I want us to both be
[23:30] Speaker 2: in a place where we can like actually plan it,
[23:32] Speaker 2: get what we want. Make sure everyone's available, because everyone
[23:36] Speaker 2: I need to make sure everyone has even if they
[23:38] Speaker 2: have children, that their children are of the age that
[23:41] Speaker 2: they can at least bring a babysitter and have a
[23:43] Speaker 2: mind out. Yeah yeah, and not be like glued to
[23:48] Speaker 2: the pump yes, or breastfeeding. Yes that that and even
[23:54] Speaker 2: if they are, we'll we'll figure it out. You can't,
[23:57] Speaker 2: you can't. Life is happening all around.
[24:00] Speaker 1: It is his life. It just happens his life. Yeah.
[24:04] Speaker 3: So, but we'll be there for you no matter what. No, no,
[24:07] Speaker 3: I know, baby on boob or sons, you.
[24:11] Speaker 2: Know, yeah, baby on tea or not.
[24:14] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[24:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, you had a big thing that you did
[24:18] Speaker 2: this weekend.
[24:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm going to tell you after the break.
[24:20] Speaker 2: While she is a tease today, I.
[24:23] Speaker 1: Know I did something huge this weekend. We're back.
[24:50] Speaker 3: Yes, it's the gold, Mike, it's me. It's making me
[24:54] Speaker 3: feel in charge. I watched Grace outom me.
[25:00] Speaker 2: Wow, thank you.
[25:04] Speaker 3: We're girl to do to get some class.
[25:09] Speaker 2: Wow. I hope all of you, I have, all of
[25:13] Speaker 2: you are absolutely riveted by that.
[25:16] Speaker 1: Well it's a big deal.
[25:17] Speaker 2: But I think the person who would care the most
[25:19] Speaker 2: is not here today.
[25:20] Speaker 3: Well, how serendipitous. Serendipitous? Yeah, I hope he gives us
[25:26] Speaker 3: a download.
[25:27] Speaker 2: Okay, so what'd you think?
[25:29] Speaker 3: So I've realized something in my life, Okay, I in
[25:35] Speaker 3: my socrol era. I'm realizing I need to just watch
[25:39] Speaker 3: totally mindless television because any sort of like life threatening,
[25:43] Speaker 3: like these diseases, these explosions, the blood, it all makes
[25:47] Speaker 3: me anxious and I just can't have that in my
[25:51] Speaker 3: life right now.
[25:52] Speaker 4: Hm.
[25:52] Speaker 3: The episode made me so anxious. It was very good, Yeah,
[25:57] Speaker 3: but I was I was like on edge. I felt
[25:59] Speaker 3: my heart beating and I.
[26:00] Speaker 1: Don't like it. Yeah, so I don't know if I'll
[26:02] Speaker 1: be partaking in episode two.
[26:04] Speaker 2: Okay, did you watch episode though? Yeah, I watched the.
[26:09] Speaker 1: Premiere and not but not the second one.
[26:11] Speaker 2: I haven't watched the second one. Okay, Oh I did
[26:13] Speaker 2: watch the second one.
[26:14] Speaker 1: Oh is it good?
[26:16] Speaker 2: M Yeah, I felt like the the was more impactful.
[26:23] Speaker 1: Yeah. I also link spoiler alert not dead.
[26:27] Speaker 2: No him to die. No, they're not gonna kill him.
[26:31] Speaker 1: Well, Mark made it seemed like he was like not
[26:33] Speaker 1: gonna make it.
[26:34] Speaker 2: I know they definitely try to make it feel that way.
[26:37] Speaker 3: But I so I was expecting. I was like bracing
[26:40] Speaker 3: myself for like his death, and then I was.
[26:42] Speaker 2: Like, oh another te No, he's very much alive. Yes,
[26:49] Speaker 2: Maggie came back in this episode because Amelia is not
[26:53] Speaker 2: doing well.
[26:53] Speaker 1: It was the second episode. Yeah, so they were.
[26:56] Speaker 2: Like in the house the whole time with Meredith Maggie
[26:58] Speaker 2: and the whole episode their scenes were all in the house.
[27:02] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[27:02] Speaker 2: And then it was like Link working too hard, trying
[27:06] Speaker 2: to get better, and Joe being mad that he's not
[27:07] Speaker 2: slowing down.
[27:08] Speaker 3: You know, yeah, just not as it feels like a
[27:11] Speaker 3: filler episode. Yeah, yeah, that's fine, that's fair.
[27:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, when you come back with a premiere cliffs So
[27:16] Speaker 2: Bang and like that one. Yeah, and that was the
[27:19] Speaker 2: four hundred and fiftieth episode, the one that aired second,
[27:22] Speaker 2: the second episode, no way, So I think they like
[27:25] Speaker 2: to keep those episodes more hopeful and like, yeah, nothing
[27:31] Speaker 2: too heavy.
[27:34] Speaker 3: On the other hand, do you know what show has
[27:36] Speaker 3: me hooked that I cannot stop thinking about? I cannot
[27:40] Speaker 3: wait for the finale on Wednesday?
[27:42] Speaker 2: Oh loves Fun. Yes, everyone's asking me if I if
[27:46] Speaker 2: I'm watching it.
[27:47] Speaker 1: It is so good this season.
[27:50] Speaker 3: Like I they released two episodes last Wednesday, we binged
[27:54] Speaker 3: them done, and I'm like, I cannot believe I have
[27:57] Speaker 3: to wait a whole nother week to get the finale.
[28:00] Speaker 3: Well that's two more days, yeah, forty eight long hours.
[28:03] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's how hooked I am.
[28:05] Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, Is are there people that you're rooting for?
[28:08] Speaker 2: Is it more dramatic?
[28:09] Speaker 3: There's one couple that I'm really rooting for. If they
[28:11] Speaker 3: don't get married, then like love is a lie, Love
[28:15] Speaker 3: is a lie. But the other couples are just so
[28:18] Speaker 3: so much of a disaster that it's like so interesting,
[28:21] Speaker 3: kind of felt like just kind of keeping.
[28:23] Speaker 2: Up with the chaos.
[28:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, but then there's one that, like, I really truly
[28:28] Speaker 3: just genuinely feel like they're I don't know, like she
[28:30] Speaker 3: did things differently. She picked someone that she normally wouldn't pick,
[28:34] Speaker 3: which is I feel like, is what the process is
[28:35] Speaker 3: all about. And so I feel like that is like,
[28:38] Speaker 3: that's her heart leading her, and so I'm like, I
[28:40] Speaker 3: hope it works out for her, you know, and she
[28:42] Speaker 3: seems so genuine like she's in it for the right reasons.
[28:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, the right reasons. Yeah, they're tough to find these days.
[28:48] Speaker 3: Yeah, I find her to be one of those people.
[28:51] Speaker 3: So I don't want to give spoilers. But Sparkle Megan.
[28:55] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's really sweet.
[28:58] Speaker 3: I watched the first few episodes and you weren't hooked,
[29:01] Speaker 3: I know, but I was telling Haley maybe we should watch.
[29:07] Speaker 2: She does a better job at watching and I just
[29:09] Speaker 2: like scroll my phone if I'm not interested, but I'm
[29:11] Speaker 2: paying attention enough to like keep up. But I did
[29:15] Speaker 2: Sparkle Megan did stand out to me. Yes, yeah, she
[29:19] Speaker 2: ended up.
[29:19] Speaker 1: With And then we're also watching Special Forces. Oh yeah,
[29:23] Speaker 1: all caught up on that.
[29:24] Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, great season.
[29:26] Speaker 3: You know, I think that it's not fair for them
[29:32] Speaker 3: to have married couples and daughter either. Because if I
[29:35] Speaker 3: was doing those trenches and Robbie was there to console
[29:38] Speaker 3: me every night, I think I'd last a lot longer
[29:40] Speaker 3: than you.
[29:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, then I if you were not there, I had.
[29:44] Speaker 2: The same thought, and I thought they were going to
[29:45] Speaker 2: be separated into two groups. So I thought they were like, oh,
[29:48] Speaker 2: you get to be together, and then they were going
[29:50] Speaker 2: to separate them, and I thought that that could make
[29:52] Speaker 2: it even more challenging to know that there are they
[29:55] Speaker 2: still there. Did they go home?
[29:57] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[29:57] Speaker 2: I was shocked that they didn't do it that way
[29:59] Speaker 2: and they just left them be together.
[30:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, like you know what a kiss from my husband
[30:04] Speaker 1: can make me into wonder woman.
[30:05] Speaker 2: I don't know that Haley and I would make it
[30:07] Speaker 2: much further together than we would have part in terms
[30:10] Speaker 2: of incursion.
[30:11] Speaker 1: So with your partner like encouraging you every step of
[30:14] Speaker 1: the way.
[30:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, mentally emotional.
[30:18] Speaker 1: I don't know physically, but it's all mental.
[30:20] Speaker 2: It is a very mental, but it's also very physical. Yeah,
[30:24] Speaker 2: it's pretty physical.
[30:26] Speaker 1: I could not be doing that right now with my back.
[30:28] Speaker 2: I think for the next conversation that we're having on
[30:31] Speaker 2: this podcast, we try not to say any filler words
[30:33] Speaker 2: like what like like or or uh?
[30:37] Speaker 1: Why do we say that a lot?
[30:38] Speaker 2: A lot?
[30:39] Speaker 1: How do you know?
[30:40] Speaker 2: I just know that I do. Why don't are you
[30:44] Speaker 2: focused on it right now? No? Not at all at all. Okay, Well,
[30:48] Speaker 2: I wanted to definitely say I don't say either, but
[30:51] Speaker 2: I do say the L word a lot.
[30:54] Speaker 1: I say the L word a lot too.
[30:56] Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm trying to break the habit, and I
[30:58] Speaker 2: was wondering if we would be able to do it.
[31:00] Speaker 1: I could do, no problem, Okay.
[31:02] Speaker 2: Easy peasy. Should we do from Jen a past, Bonnie
[31:06] Speaker 2: update and fun questions?
[31:08] Speaker 1: Sure, we're running a little bit out of time, but
[31:10] Speaker 1: whatever you want to do.
[31:11] Speaker 2: Let's do it. Wait? Did you watch the Brina Carpenter
[31:13] Speaker 2: on SNL?
[31:14] Speaker 1: Yes?
[31:15] Speaker 2: How about?
[31:15] Speaker 3: I mean I didn't watch the episode, but I watched
[31:17] Speaker 3: all the I think I watched all the highlights and
[31:20] Speaker 3: the clips, so I feel like I did.
[31:22] Speaker 2: How did it go?
[31:23] Speaker 1: Great?
[31:24] Speaker 2: Well? Because I felt like people thought she was going
[31:26] Speaker 2: to bring out Taylor?
[31:27] Speaker 3: Oh really, I didn't have that thought. Kelly a woman
[31:30] Speaker 3: not stand alone.
[31:31] Speaker 2: I mean, for Herd's sake, she definitely can. But I
[31:34] Speaker 2: think with their song coming out. They thought maybe she
[31:36] Speaker 2: would bring her out.
[31:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, well let the girl stand on her own two
[31:42] Speaker 1: feet and she is.
[31:44] Speaker 2: Yes. One thing about her she is Hello, is scrubbing in.
[31:47] Speaker 2: I've written in before, and I know you like updates.
[31:49] Speaker 2: This was about my boyfriend not pinning our new home
[31:52] Speaker 2: together on the gram. I remember this. Yeah, as you
[31:55] Speaker 2: guys advise, not a big deal. But also it was
[31:58] Speaker 2: important to me. If it was important to me, there
[32:00] Speaker 2: should be compromise. So I did a little talk and
[32:02] Speaker 2: he didn't realize how much it bothered me. So the
[32:04] Speaker 2: next day he didn't pin our house, but rather a
[32:06] Speaker 2: cute pick of me, him and his dog. It meant
[32:08] Speaker 2: a lot. So thank you for giving me the nudge
[32:10] Speaker 2: to have a chat and express my feelings. Also, I've
[32:13] Speaker 2: been loving the little way the podcast ends lately, so
[32:16] Speaker 2: I thought I would continue the trend. Sundays to me
[32:19] Speaker 2: are a reset date. If you could have the same
[32:22] Speaker 2: type of Sunday every week, what would you do from
[32:24] Speaker 2: the moment you wake up to the bedtime? Do you
[32:29] Speaker 2: want to start a Sunday? It would be sleeping late,
[32:34] Speaker 2: waking up and making a breakfast that included something salty
[32:38] Speaker 2: and sweet. So like So as though, something bodies transit.
[32:45] Speaker 1: We're doing it next week.
[32:46] Speaker 2: Something bake away, okay, cinnamon roll donut? Wait, do y'all
[32:53] Speaker 2: consider donut a dessert or breakfast food breakfast food too,
[32:56] Speaker 2: and then some bacon or something hash browns. And then
[33:00] Speaker 2: I would do a little TV time, just sitting on
[33:02] Speaker 2: the couch, maybe go on a walk in the sun
[33:05] Speaker 2: and then maybe layout in the sun, like have swim in.
[33:12] Speaker 1: The pool out of sun time.
[33:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, And then a nice dinner, maybe some pizza or something,
[33:21] Speaker 2: and then watch a show together and go to bed,
[33:23] Speaker 2: maybe play a game. What about you?
[33:26] Speaker 3: Mom would be waking up at like seventh waking up
[33:29] Speaker 3: around seven thirty seven thirty five.
[33:30] Speaker 2: Okay, thank you for the specificity.
[33:35] Speaker 1: Then we would walk to breakfast.
[33:38] Speaker 3: Robbie and I go to our little spot that we
[33:39] Speaker 3: like to walk to, have like a poached egg with
[33:42] Speaker 3: some gluten free toasts and avocado. Walk back home, go
[33:46] Speaker 3: to the farmer's market, shop for all my food for
[33:49] Speaker 3: the week, fresh from the farmers.
[33:51] Speaker 2: Do you do?
[33:52] Speaker 1: I don't, but I'd love to.
[33:55] Speaker 3: Dream my dream this is something we did no do
[33:59] Speaker 3: all my grocery shopping. Then I would love to do
[34:02] Speaker 3: all my food prep for the week. I'd love to
[34:06] Speaker 3: check all my emails and get on top of the
[34:09] Speaker 3: week ahead, all my schedules and everything, make sure I
[34:11] Speaker 3: have everything ready to go. I would love a cozy
[34:15] Speaker 3: soup dinner, okay, and then some TV time and bed
[34:21] Speaker 3: by eight thirty nine.
[34:22] Speaker 2: Great day, A great day. You should start incorporating the
[34:26] Speaker 2: farmer's market if it's a dream.
[34:28] Speaker 3: I know, but it's just that I don't know any
[34:31] Speaker 3: farmers market well enough.
[34:32] Speaker 1: Like I always feel like I go with.
[34:33] Speaker 3: I feel somewhat of a chicken with the head my
[34:35] Speaker 3: head cut off, don't know where I'm going, don't know
[34:37] Speaker 3: what I'm getting. You don't know what's the best. It's
[34:39] Speaker 3: really hot and sweaty and sticky. Maybe no, that's cooling down.
[34:44] Speaker 2: Thank you for the question, Jin that she said, Becca,
[34:46] Speaker 2: who won the SPA price for keeping the house clean.
[34:49] Speaker 2: We actually had a small day like two weeks ago
[34:51] Speaker 2: and we both got a massage because we both kept
[34:54] Speaker 2: the house clean.
[34:54] Speaker 1: So wow, win win.
[34:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a win win, and we've managed to
[34:59] Speaker 2: keep it relatively clean since then. We've dropped the ball
[35:02] Speaker 2: a little bit, but for the most part. Yeah, we
[35:05] Speaker 2: do have a very special guest this Thursday, actually not. Arguably,
[35:12] Speaker 2: I would say one of my favorite guests.
[35:14] Speaker 1: It should be your favorite guest.
[35:16] Speaker 2: My favorite guests of all time.
[35:18] Speaker 1: Should we keep it a surprise? Sure, make people guess,
[35:23] Speaker 1: let them guess, let them figure it out.
[35:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, okay, I think they'll figure it out based
[35:29] Speaker 2: on content on Instagram. But we have a author, a
[35:36] Speaker 2: fellow author, thank you, yeah, an actor, a director, a singer, single,
[35:44] Speaker 2: a dance or, and a fiance or of mine. Heyley Kyoko,
[35:51] Speaker 2: we'll be scrubbing back in. She's going to tell us
[35:55] Speaker 2: about her new book coming out, and she wanted to
[35:58] Speaker 2: come on the podcast to do it. I said, are
[36:00] Speaker 2: you kidding? By all means, tell us what day you want.
[36:03] Speaker 3: The Our door is always open for her. I should
[36:08] Speaker 3: pitch my song to her.
