Becca and Tanya are ready to recap the Grammys with some takes that might be a bit less than “piping hot”… was the show a little snoozy?? Tanya tried the ritual of blowing cinnamon in her front door at the first of the month and we find out how that worked out for her! Maybe some “hocus pocus” should just stay on Instagram… Plus, Becca shares an update on her basketball league and we revisit Tanya’s noisy neighbors! [0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca, Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
[0:12] Speaker 1: we are scrubbing in. It's that scrubbing in life with
[0:16] Speaker 1: my scrubbing in wife.
[0:18] Speaker 2: That's right, it is. We're back. We're in different seats today.
[0:22] Speaker 1: Yeah, our function is a little off.
[0:25] Speaker 2: We'll see it.
[0:26] Speaker 3: Maybe I like this, may it might help. It might
[0:28] Speaker 3: might help with what the pod. Oh, just increase the numbers.
[0:32] Speaker 1: No, it might just like give us some jush to
[0:34] Speaker 1: make give us something crush. Yeah, all right, how you doing?
[0:38] Speaker 1: It's been better?
[0:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, we're in.
[0:41] Speaker 3: Different seats because Tanya is germy with a cold over
[0:45] Speaker 3: in the corner.
[0:46] Speaker 1: Germy squirmy, surely.
[0:49] Speaker 3: But she's a dedicated business woman and came to work anyway.
[0:53] Speaker 1: If there's anything that I do, it's work. Yeah, Mark
[0:59] Speaker 1: doesn't seem to I do it for you, Mark, and
[1:02] Speaker 1: I appreciate that because you're a person that if anybody
[1:05] Speaker 1: clears their throat in your general vicinity, you look like,
[1:07] Speaker 1: oh my god, are you sick?
[1:08] Speaker 4: Oh my god. They'll freak out.
[1:09] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:10] Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like germs.
[1:13] Speaker 5: I'm more of the mindset that sometimes you get sick
[1:16] Speaker 5: in life and you get over it.
[1:20] Speaker 1: But if you can avoid it, why would you not.
[1:21] Speaker 4: I wash my hands vigorously.
[1:23] Speaker 1: I don't wash my hands vigorously.
[1:25] Speaker 4: Well they should.
[1:26] Speaker 5: That's a better option than alienating people around you.
[1:30] Speaker 3: I lean in between the two of you a little, like,
[1:34] Speaker 3: if I have to go somewhere, I'm aware that there
[1:38] Speaker 3: might be sick people there, Like if I get on
[1:39] Speaker 3: a plane, I'm like, there's probably some here with very
[1:42] Speaker 3: contagious germs near me.
[1:45] Speaker 2: But I have to do what I have to do.
[1:46] Speaker 3: If it's like I am feeling really sick and it's
[1:50] Speaker 3: a Monday, and I'm like the podcast I could do
[1:53] Speaker 3: from home or zoom or you know, not infect anyone,
[1:57] Speaker 3: I'm going to stay home. Yeah, that's just a little
[2:01] Speaker 3: bit about me.
[2:02] Speaker 1: Well, if I felt the way that I felt on
[2:04] Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday, I would not be here today for sure.
[2:07] Speaker 1: But I woke up Sunday and I had turned a corner,
[2:11] Speaker 1: which I was very grateful about. So I'm here working.
[2:17] Speaker 3: By the way, this all started because Tanya and I
[2:20] Speaker 3: because she missed me so much. As you recall, last week,
[2:22] Speaker 3: we made dinner plans at our little oh no, not
[2:26] Speaker 3: at the Little Fish Shock about a different, different pace,
[2:29] Speaker 3: and she texts me and like kind of the morning
[2:33] Speaker 3: of Thursday, and she's like, hey, FII if I sound
[2:37] Speaker 3: a little congested, it's just allergies, mind you. I have
[2:41] Speaker 3: been friends with Tanya for eleven years at this point. Okay,
[2:46] Speaker 3: never once has Tanya had allergies.
[2:49] Speaker 1: I'm like, allergies?
[2:51] Speaker 3: What, Like, how do you know there are allergies not
[2:54] Speaker 3: a cold. I go, why don't you take an allergy
[2:56] Speaker 3: pill and see if it clears them up?
[2:58] Speaker 2: That's how you know?
[2:59] Speaker 3: And she goes, well, it's the same symptoms, so if
[3:01] Speaker 3: it clears the allergies, it's going to clear cold correct,
[3:03] Speaker 3: which is not true.
[3:04] Speaker 1: But yes, the whole thing is like these these medications
[3:06] Speaker 1: that you take are symptom relievers. They're not like curing
[3:10] Speaker 1: whatever you have.
[3:11] Speaker 2: They're just like they're just no.
[3:12] Speaker 3: I take xertech for allergies, and then I take other
[3:15] Speaker 3: things when I have a cold.
[3:18] Speaker 1: Such as see I don't I don't dabble in the
[3:20] Speaker 1: medication world as much, not as familiar, but I feel
[3:23] Speaker 1: as though most medications just suppress your what's the word symptoms.
[3:29] Speaker 1: They don't they don't get to the root of the issue.
[3:32] Speaker 1: So like, if I have a cold and I'm taking
[3:34] Speaker 1: mucinex to like get rid of my mucus, I'm not
[3:37] Speaker 1: getting rid of my cold. I'm just getting rid of
[3:39] Speaker 1: the symptoms, which is problematic because then I'll go about
[3:41] Speaker 1: my day infecting others.
[3:43] Speaker 3: But what's causing the cold is the mucus sitting there,
[3:48] Speaker 3: So you're getting rid of the thing that's causing this.
[3:52] Speaker 1: I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on
[3:53] Speaker 1: this because I'm just not well anyways.
[3:55] Speaker 3: The whole point is that I was like, well, take it.
[3:56] Speaker 3: Take an allergy pill. If it's allergies, you'll you'll feel relief.
[4:00] Speaker 3: And then she goes Robbie, Robbie says, I've never had
[4:05] Speaker 3: allergies before.
[4:07] Speaker 1: Robbie too was like, Babe, you've never had allergies.
[4:10] Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm like, I hear about Robbie's allergies all the time,
[4:13] Speaker 3: but never once have you said you have allergies.
[4:15] Speaker 2: And I'm just like, not in the mood to get sick.
[4:17] Speaker 3: So I was like, we're going to push this, and
[4:19] Speaker 3: then she goes, yeah, Robbie's yelling at me to go.
[4:22] Speaker 2: Get back in bed.
[4:23] Speaker 1: I'm like, what you were going to go to dinner
[4:25] Speaker 1: with me.
[4:25] Speaker 2: When Robbie's fully no. So I'm glad you're feeling better.
[4:31] Speaker 2: I'm glad you turned a corner.
[4:32] Speaker 1: Here's the thing about me. Yeah, what I'm going to
[4:34] Speaker 1: fight tooth and nail to just always be good. You know,
[4:38] Speaker 1: Like if something's like nipping at me, like I'm feeling
[4:41] Speaker 1: a little bit down, I'm gonna do everything that I
[4:43] Speaker 1: can to power through to like not go down. M hm.
[4:47] Speaker 1: But then ultimately Friday I went down. Yeah, I went
[4:50] Speaker 1: down hard. And that times you have to listen to
[4:52] Speaker 1: your what your body needs.
[4:53] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[4:54] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So you did a lot of resting this weekend.
[4:57] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I mean if Ley was it is,
[5:04] Speaker 1: if Lay wasn't down, it would be me. Okay, because
[5:09] Speaker 1: Lay I did.
[5:11] Speaker 5: You're back in your TV are You got out of
[5:12] Speaker 5: it for like a day or two, but now you're
[5:14] Speaker 5: right back into watching every out of it.
[5:16] Speaker 1: For like a day or two, I was dabbling in
[5:18] Speaker 1: the thoughts of like coming up with a hobby before
[5:21] Speaker 1: bed instead of TV.
[5:23] Speaker 2: Oh I didn't.
[5:23] Speaker 1: I didn't even hear that. It was a quick stint,
[5:27] Speaker 1: because then a day later I went down and watch
[5:31] Speaker 1: a lot of TV.
[5:32] Speaker 2: What hobbies were you looking into getting.
[5:34] Speaker 1: Into looking into like, uh, what is it? Stitching? Not crochet,
[5:41] Speaker 1: but like where you were you No, not knitting, but
[5:43] Speaker 1: like you make like beautiful images with needle point. You know.
[5:50] Speaker 4: I don't know what that's like.
[5:51] Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about. It's yeah, anyone, Oh
[5:58] Speaker 1: my gosh, it's on the tip of my hung like
[6:01] Speaker 1: where you have like a picture, like let's say it's
[6:03] Speaker 1: a tree and may get with out of threads, different
[6:06] Speaker 1: colored threads.
[6:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what you're saying.
[6:08] Speaker 1: Crochet. No, it's not because that's like a beanie.
[6:11] Speaker 5: I know.
[6:12] Speaker 1: So I was gonna I was attempting that or maybe
[6:14] Speaker 1: like an adult coloring book.
[6:15] Speaker 2: Of sorts I love.
[6:17] Speaker 3: I have some good Rex with some good markers if
[6:19] Speaker 3: you need that.
[6:20] Speaker 1: Because I found that I've just become addicted to television
[6:23] Speaker 1: like crossticks another word in there, because cross stitch wasn't
[6:29] Speaker 1: what I was embroidered.
[6:30] Speaker 2: Ordering is what I was saying.
[6:33] Speaker 1: No, is the same thing, far harder I think than
[6:37] Speaker 1: it's similar. Oh really, Yeah, I found that I was
[6:41] Speaker 1: getting addicted to television. I didn't like this addiction where
[6:44] Speaker 1: it was taking me. Okay, so I wanted to yea
[6:47] Speaker 1: curb that with another hobby before bed. Didn't even get
[6:51] Speaker 1: there because.
[6:53] Speaker 3: Like, what are you supposed to start a new hobby
[6:55] Speaker 3: while you're sick.
[6:55] Speaker 2: That's not realist.
[6:56] Speaker 1: I know, I know. So the sickness really came at
[6:59] Speaker 1: a bad time. Was wanting to make myself better and
[7:01] Speaker 1: then it just took me back down.
[7:03] Speaker 3: If I could recommend puzzling, absolute bliss, oh like word puzzles.
[7:09] Speaker 2: Nope, just a classic puzzle, I don't know.
[7:12] Speaker 1: I don't know about that.
[7:13] Speaker 3: A jigsaw puzzle you just to puzzle, you guys, A
[7:16] Speaker 3: five hundred piece puzzle. I thought a jigsaw puzzle is
[7:21] Speaker 3: like a like really complicated shapes or something.
[7:23] Speaker 2: I thought there was what you're saying, a box puzzle pieces.
[7:30] Speaker 1: I want something I could do in bed.
[7:32] Speaker 3: So you can get a table and then you you
[7:35] Speaker 3: can put this thing on top of it so it
[7:37] Speaker 3: say it does nothing moves, and then you can slide
[7:39] Speaker 3: it under your bed.
[7:40] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you could sit in bed and together.
[7:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I don't hate this now, I'm telling you
[7:48] Speaker 3: it is therapeutic.
[7:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. I don't hate that idea now.
[7:53] Speaker 3: Okay, So we're in between cross stage and puzzling if
[7:57] Speaker 3: she can escape the addiction. Yeah, okay, do you ever
[8:00] Speaker 3: put your TV timer on? No, maybe there's a start there.
[8:05] Speaker 3: You've given yourself a certain amount of time that it
[8:07] Speaker 3: shuts off.
[8:09] Speaker 1: Not sure, somewhere far away. The problem is it's not
[8:12] Speaker 1: so much turning it off, is like it's just running
[8:14] Speaker 1: through my head at all times, you know, like I
[8:16] Speaker 1: want to come back and see, like did they figure
[8:18] Speaker 1: out who the killer was?
[8:19] Speaker 5: You know?
[8:19] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
[8:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, addiction is like running through my veins.
[8:23] Speaker 2: What about reading?
[8:25] Speaker 3: I mean reading? I know you get that same high. Yeah,
[8:29] Speaker 3: you're wondering what's going to happen, and then you're.
[8:31] Speaker 1: Also to sleep. It makes me sleepy. So your no, no, no, no,
[8:37] Speaker 1: I want some good time in that bed before I sleep.
[8:41] Speaker 2: Well, you just gotta do what you gotta do.
[8:43] Speaker 5: You know.
[8:44] Speaker 1: That's just a little bit about me. Yeah, you know, so.
[8:47] Speaker 2: You did a lot of laying. What'd you watch over
[8:49] Speaker 2: the weekend?
[8:49] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I watched that new Sophie Turner show.
[8:53] Speaker 2: Steal What's that?
[8:55] Speaker 1: On uh Amazon Prime?
[8:57] Speaker 2: It was good?
[8:58] Speaker 1: It is so good, like so good. So I watched
[9:03] Speaker 1: it with Robbie, which was a bad call. Because I
[9:06] Speaker 1: couldn't keep watching it without him. He wanted to obviously
[9:10] Speaker 1: watch it, and I all I wanted to do on
[9:11] Speaker 1: Saturday was just watch more TV and he was like
[9:14] Speaker 1: living life and I was like, when are you coming home?
[9:18] Speaker 1: I want to keep watching Steel. So I had to
[9:20] Speaker 1: like wait for him, Otherwise I would have binged it
[9:23] Speaker 1: all in one go.
[9:24] Speaker 2: Can't you just watch it and then watch it again
[9:26] Speaker 2: with him?
[9:27] Speaker 1: No, because he'll see Yeah.
[9:29] Speaker 3: But can't you just be like I want to watch
[9:31] Speaker 3: it and then I'll sit and watch it with you.
[9:33] Speaker 1: You can't do that in a relationship. That's like cheating.
[9:37] Speaker 3: No.
[9:39] Speaker 2: I don't think it's like cheating.
[9:40] Speaker 1: It is like cheating.
[9:41] Speaker 5: No.
[9:41] Speaker 3: Like if you told him, like I really want to
[9:43] Speaker 3: watch it and then I'll watch it with you when
[9:44] Speaker 3: you get.
[9:45] Speaker 1: Home, he'd be so upset.
[9:47] Speaker 4: Oh well, okay, No one wants to watch something.
[9:50] Speaker 1: That someone's already seen.
[9:51] Speaker 5: Yes, that you're not experiencing together.
[9:55] Speaker 1: Oh okay, is this an US thing?
[9:58] Speaker 3: No? I Haley probably would feel the same way as you, guys.
[10:01] Speaker 3: I'm not like super into I don't get into shows
[10:05] Speaker 3: that deeply, So like if she watched it a bit, okay,
[10:08] Speaker 3: I'll just watch it on my own time.
[10:10] Speaker 1: I would never never and Robbie would never ever.
[10:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of respect there.
[10:17] Speaker 1: There's a lot there's a lot of respect for the
[10:19] Speaker 1: TV shows. Okay, okay, Yeah, so you were waiting for that. Yeah,
[10:23] Speaker 1: I was waiting for him to come back from doing
[10:26] Speaker 1: all the housework. On Saturday, I watched Beauty, The Beauty,
[10:31] Speaker 1: The Ryan Murphy.
[10:32] Speaker 2: Show, Okay, And.
[10:35] Speaker 1: I like the the I like the concept, I like
[10:38] Speaker 1: the concept. Is a lot going on for me to.
[10:41] Speaker 2: Follow Ryan Murphy Show.
[10:44] Speaker 1: Ever, I'd give it like a six out of ten.
[10:47] Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's quite high.
[10:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, because I liked it. Okay, will I continue? I'm
[10:53] Speaker 1: not sure it's no steal? Okay, okay, which really is
[10:58] Speaker 1: your recommendation steals my recommendation? The week?
[11:00] Speaker 2: And did you watch the Grammys?
[11:02] Speaker 1: I did watch the Grammys? Did you I did?
[11:05] Speaker 2: Mark?
[11:05] Speaker 5: Yeah, I watched them. I thought they were a little
[11:07] Speaker 5: snoozy this year.
[11:08] Speaker 1: Yeah, we had the same feeling more snoozy than usual.
[11:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think? It was.
[11:14] Speaker 1: Worse news than news?
[11:16] Speaker 3: I wish there was more dancing, Like what to get
[11:20] Speaker 3: Bruno marsh twice and not get to watch him dance?
[11:23] Speaker 2: Was like but like, what are we doing?
[11:31] Speaker 1: I have the same thought, and then I was like, no,
[11:36] Speaker 1: I see.
[11:36] Speaker 3: I felt like it was Aptah and then it was Manchild,
[11:39] Speaker 3: which I'm like, Okay.
[11:43] Speaker 4: The whole airport they built.
[11:46] Speaker 1: I would like to talk about that because is she
[11:48] Speaker 1: foreshadowing something? It seemed so random, too random?
[11:52] Speaker 2: What was random the airport?
[11:56] Speaker 1: What is she foreshadowing some new album? Sc airline is
[12:00] Speaker 1: like some sort of new era of hers, Like, I
[12:04] Speaker 1: don't know. To me, you just felt like too random
[12:07] Speaker 1: to be so extravagant with the set.
[12:11] Speaker 3: No, that's just how we were talking about her production,
[12:14] Speaker 3: Like her budget and production design just crushes.
[12:17] Speaker 2: They most amazing.
[12:19] Speaker 1: Just just just.
[12:22] Speaker 3: Listen, We'll keep an eye out for airline launch.
[12:26] Speaker 1: I'm gonna be keeping my eyes out.
[12:29] Speaker 3: Serenni Carpenter's new airline coming soon, you never know, and
[12:33] Speaker 3: n it after that until I quite enjoyed Kat's eye.
[12:39] Speaker 3: I really enjoy Olivia Dean's everything. I am obsessed with her,
[12:47] Speaker 3: wanted her to win more. Every time there's a new
[12:49] Speaker 3: another category is like Olivia Dean.
[12:50] Speaker 5: Tinya silence implies that she's not on board Olivia.
[12:54] Speaker 1: I felt the whole medley with the yeah oh you
[12:57] Speaker 1: didn't like it went on forever.
[13:00] Speaker 2: I agree. I thought it was too long too.
[13:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, favorite part of the whole show.
[13:04] Speaker 3: I thought it was fun that they gave everyone their moment. Cool,
[13:07] Speaker 3: but I did it was long because there were so
[13:09] Speaker 3: many of them.
[13:11] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, my other could cut a few out.
[13:15] Speaker 1: To be honest, I mean, to be fair. No, I
[13:17] Speaker 1: mean just in general, like they don't need to have
[13:19] Speaker 1: eight people nominees in every category. It's like, let's rein
[13:23] Speaker 1: it into like four or six.
[13:26] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[13:26] Speaker 3: I felt really horrible for Alex Warren, I know, but
[13:29] Speaker 3: you know what he everyone in that he posted about
[13:32] Speaker 3: it and everyone in the comments.
[13:33] Speaker 2: It's like he's got a lot of support. If anything.
[13:37] Speaker 3: It was like people were like he was singing live,
[13:39] Speaker 3: so it was cool to see.
[13:41] Speaker 1: Yeah. I felt really bad for him too. It was
[13:43] Speaker 1: like I thought it was my TV at first, Like
[13:46] Speaker 1: am I lagging? Like what that's going on here? And
[13:48] Speaker 1: I was like, oh, no, that's his performance.
[13:50] Speaker 5: We know why because he was getting weird stuff in
[13:53] Speaker 5: his ears. Yeah, we have audio of that.
[13:54] Speaker 4: Do you want to hear that?
[13:55] Speaker 2: This is what he was hearing?
[13:56] Speaker 4: This is what he was hearing?
[13:57] Speaker 5: Is he was up suspended above twelve thousand people in
[14:01] Speaker 5: Crypto dot.
[14:02] Speaker 2: Or he got suspended though, Yeah, he was walking out.
[14:05] Speaker 5: We're supposed to be hearing himself performing, and what he's
[14:07] Speaker 5: hearing is it's like.
[14:18] Speaker 4: A double echo situation.
[14:19] Speaker 1: Which one does he follow? I don't know. Yeah, rough, rough,
[14:24] Speaker 1: and like the only one like that messed up?
[14:27] Speaker 3: Really, But I don't know that a lot of people
[14:29] Speaker 3: are singing live, so if anything, you know, in a
[14:33] Speaker 3: sense that it made him stand out because we're like, oh,
[14:38] Speaker 3: he's singing live, but unfortunate for him.
[14:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think of Bieber's performance?
[14:46] Speaker 1: I have a hot take. I'm gonna take him. We
[14:50] Speaker 1: get back, you are.
[14:55] Speaker 4: Anymore. I'm just proud. That's the feeling right now.
[14:58] Speaker 2: It's proud. We're back. We're back, all right. Hot take
[15:22] Speaker 2: about Justin Bieber's performance.
[15:24] Speaker 1: It was my favorite of the night.
[15:26] Speaker 2: Oh, I feel like a lot of I felt like
[15:28] Speaker 2: everyone loved it.
[15:29] Speaker 3: Really Yeah a cold take.
[15:34] Speaker 1: Wait, really go through all those commercials for that. Everyone
[15:38] Speaker 1: loved it. I really talking about everybody's always shading Bieber.
[15:42] Speaker 2: Everybody's always like, oh, what did you see?
[15:46] Speaker 1: Well I didn't see anything, okay.
[15:48] Speaker 3: So a very lukewarm take from Tanya I thought.
[15:55] Speaker 1: It was so cool that he was stripped down, that
[16:00] Speaker 1: it was just him literally stripped down him the vocals.
[16:03] Speaker 1: The only thing I didn't understand was the mirror because
[16:06] Speaker 1: it's supposed to be like a bedroom, like he was
[16:07] Speaker 1: in his bedroom. Hard to say, that's the only thing.
[16:10] Speaker 1: I can't quite like piece together, but like beautiful, perfect performance.
[16:18] Speaker 2: Wow, Okay.
[16:21] Speaker 3: I wanted more personally, like more clothes and less like
[16:26] Speaker 3: more like upbeat. I think, ah, yeah, you wanted to
[16:32] Speaker 3: perform Daisy's.
[16:34] Speaker 2: I would have loved Daisy's or Yukon like not stripped.
[16:37] Speaker 1: Down, stripped down to strip down you don't like, I
[16:39] Speaker 1: just figuratively like.
[16:43] Speaker 2: The whole show.
[16:45] Speaker 3: I wanted more dancing, and I felt like everything was
[16:48] Speaker 3: very non non dancing and I was missing that.
[16:53] Speaker 2: And I just I watch old videos.
[16:55] Speaker 3: Of him performing, and I'm like, I love watching him
[16:58] Speaker 3: dance and perform. So I don't I feel like I
[17:00] Speaker 3: missed that from him because we haven't seen him do
[17:02] Speaker 3: that in so long.
[17:03] Speaker 1: But this is the new Beabs, Well, this is what
[17:05] Speaker 1: this is.
[17:07] Speaker 3: Take as hot, then I miss the old Beabs. But
[17:11] Speaker 3: I he sounded great. I do feel like his voice
[17:15] Speaker 3: is amazing. I thought it was cute watching Haley watch him. Yeah,
[17:18] Speaker 3: so I have no like it was. I was just like, oh,
[17:21] Speaker 3: I wish I felt that about everybody, Olivia and Sabrina.
[17:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, I felt like even dance, I'm like, what.
[17:31] Speaker 2: Is going on? Are they limited to how many moves
[17:34] Speaker 2: they can do?
[17:35] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[17:36] Speaker 3: So yeah, I just that's that's something I felt. I
[17:39] Speaker 3: felt like it was just a little slow snoozy. It's
[17:41] Speaker 3: so long, so long. I wish they did the memorial
[17:45] Speaker 3: stuff a little sooner because by the time they get
[17:47] Speaker 3: to that in the show, I'm just like tired.
[17:51] Speaker 5: You know. I really enjoy the Parade of the Dead
[17:54] Speaker 5: and all these shows, whether it's the Grammys, the Oscars,
[17:57] Speaker 5: the Globes. I enjoy that because I was like, oh,
[17:59] Speaker 5: I forgot that person died, or oh I didn't know that.
[18:02] Speaker 4: I enjoy that, huh. But last night they took out
[18:04] Speaker 4: the big ones.
[18:04] Speaker 5: They took out Brian Wilson, that took out Auzzy Osbourn
[18:06] Speaker 5: and to do their own separate things for them, which
[18:08] Speaker 5: I guess is commendable, but to me, it made the
[18:11] Speaker 5: actual Reba McIntyre performance. It's just a parode of knowing
[18:15] Speaker 5: you've ever heard of I didn't know a single person
[18:17] Speaker 5: they put up there during that because the impactful people
[18:21] Speaker 5: who passed away got their own separate stuff and like
[18:23] Speaker 5: the why why are we even.
[18:24] Speaker 3: Bothering with this, which kind of feels like sad, like oh,
[18:26] Speaker 3: the other people were, Oh.
[18:28] Speaker 5: This guy's a tamboline, this guy is an executive, and
[18:31] Speaker 5: this guy's an agent, and like, yeah, I'm not interested.
[18:34] Speaker 4: Yeah, sorry, they died.
[18:35] Speaker 3: Do we have any controversial feelings of winners or people
[18:39] Speaker 3: not wanting I will say this, you know what. I
[18:43] Speaker 3: know that Taylor Swill always gets a ton of hate
[18:45] Speaker 3: for like being excited and being up and whatnot. But
[18:48] Speaker 3: my god, do we need a little more excitement.
[18:51] Speaker 1: It's only the fans or that's just all fellow fellow.
[18:55] Speaker 3: I'm like, your artist's biggest music awards show in the
[18:59] Speaker 3: world and you're just sat looking like you don't want
[19:02] Speaker 3: to be there.
[19:02] Speaker 1: I agree, I agree with you.
[19:05] Speaker 3: Like, here's my thing. If you don't want to go,
[19:07] Speaker 3: just don't. If it's listen, the way the world right
[19:10] Speaker 3: now is not in a super happy place. But if
[19:14] Speaker 3: you're gonna go, try to bring some joy with it.
[19:17] Speaker 3: Like Lola Young winning, I was so excited to watch
[19:21] Speaker 3: her because she was so unexpectedly like excited about it, yeah,
[19:27] Speaker 3: or she was so she did not expect to win,
[19:29] Speaker 3: so her reaction was so raw and real, and I'm like,
[19:32] Speaker 3: that's the energy I wish that people had when they
[19:35] Speaker 3: want a Grammy. Yea, even bad Bunny winning at the
[19:38] Speaker 3: end and having that moment where he just sat there
[19:40] Speaker 3: and I was so emotional because I'm like that, I
[19:45] Speaker 3: don't know.
[19:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it, that's it, You're winning a gard ride.
[19:50] Speaker 4: Young Nuts Dean was like.
[19:53] Speaker 3: In the crowd, was like, yeah, I'm saying the crowd
[19:55] Speaker 3: is just very lame.
[19:57] Speaker 1: You're just like, man like when Taylor's there, she is dancing,
[20:01] Speaker 1: she's standing up.
[20:02] Speaker 3: Peoples on why she's doing that, what she's doing, but
[20:04] Speaker 3: it's like, get.
[20:07] Speaker 1: Up, be excited, celebrate the other people. Yes, I'm with you.
[20:11] Speaker 1: There was an energy that was that was not there.
[20:14] Speaker 1: And I also feel like, look, i feel like we've
[20:17] Speaker 1: been doing a lot of critiquing and I'm not like
[20:19] Speaker 1: a critique train on our on the show, on the Grammys. Yeah,
[20:23] Speaker 1: on the Grammies. Yeah, we're not like, you know, I don't.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Know that anyone's like, oh my god, did you hear it? Back?
[20:28] Speaker 2: Tanya said about the gravy because like a.
[20:30] Speaker 1: Lot of people spend a lot of time and money
[20:33] Speaker 1: and energy and effort into like making these shows. But
[20:36] Speaker 1: I felt like as the ship leader, like I feel
[20:40] Speaker 1: like Trevor Noah didn't even seem like super excited to
[20:43] Speaker 1: be there.
[20:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, and listen again, it's I think there's there's Ah,
[20:49] Speaker 3: it's hard right now to be in this like celebratory,
[20:53] Speaker 3: super excited headspace with where things are right now. So
[20:56] Speaker 3: I I think there's that part of it, obviously, but
[21:00] Speaker 3: I'm more so talking about just like the general excitement
[21:03] Speaker 3: of being nominated and celebrating the music that you've made
[21:08] Speaker 3: in the performances that people put so much effort into.
[21:11] Speaker 1: And here's the saying, Nicki Glazer did it at the
[21:13] Speaker 1: Golden Globes. Did what brought the the energy, the the
[21:21] Speaker 1: she brought little pizzazz?
[21:23] Speaker 3: Well that's I feel like Nikki Glazer has a little
[21:26] Speaker 3: more pizaz personally, Yeah, something.
[21:29] Speaker 4: More than you did.
[21:30] Speaker 5: Clearly, I enjoyed his little bit where he kept sitting
[21:32] Speaker 5: with Bad Bunny trying to get performed.
[21:34] Speaker 1: I enjoyed that you didn't like that, And then the
[21:38] Speaker 1: joke about the discount codes. I was like, oh again
[21:41] Speaker 1: that the discount code. Here's like, you're all rich.
[21:44] Speaker 3: I I appreciate that everyone who puts on the Grammys.
[21:48] Speaker 3: I sat and watched all three and a half hours
[21:50] Speaker 3: of it, so at the end of the day we're
[21:52] Speaker 3: able to have opinions on it. You know what I'm saying, Like,
[21:55] Speaker 3: I'm not I just have so much.
[21:56] Speaker 1: Respect for the Grammys, Like I I really do, like
[21:59] Speaker 1: I really really feel and I think I get what
[22:01] Speaker 1: you're saying that there was this like lack of like
[22:05] Speaker 1: not respect like it's the Grammy.
[22:09] Speaker 3: I kind of felt the feeling I feel is like
[22:11] Speaker 3: is everyone too cool? Like does everyone kind of feel like, uh,
[22:14] Speaker 3: we've been here, done this, like they've already for more.
[22:17] Speaker 3: I think that's why Lady Goga's reaction, You're like it's
[22:20] Speaker 3: endearing because she's won so many Grammys and she still
[22:23] Speaker 3: had an emotional reaction to it. Right.
[22:26] Speaker 2: I don't know, you guys, I just that's.
[22:28] Speaker 1: What I felt, Yeah, as a viewer, as a viewer, and.
[22:32] Speaker 2: I'll be tuning in next year. Get wait, I'm actually.
[22:35] Speaker 1: You know, it's funny. I had this thought of like, man,
[22:37] Speaker 1: I wish I was like involved. I wanted to be.
[22:39] Speaker 1: I was like, put me in, coach, like I had
[22:40] Speaker 1: that feeling like like a hype person.
[22:43] Speaker 3: No.
[22:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I was like, I want to be there.
[22:45] Speaker 1: I want to be at the Grammys. I want to
[22:46] Speaker 1: work the Grammys. I want to be like more involved,
[22:49] Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like I was like, I
[22:50] Speaker 1: just kept saying like put me in, like I kept wanting.
[22:53] Speaker 1: I kept having that sentiment of just like, yeah, I
[22:56] Speaker 1: want to be involved. Yeah, next year you should. I'm
[22:59] Speaker 1: not sure are having involved, but I do want to throw.
[23:02] Speaker 5: My hat And you can't manifest it because Tanya was
[23:06] Speaker 5: telling me earlier she's not doing any more of that anymore.
[23:09] Speaker 5: Manifesting no mark.
[23:12] Speaker 1: Is now.
[23:13] Speaker 4: See I'm paraphrasing.
[23:15] Speaker 1: Perhaps it's very much a man thing. You say one
[23:18] Speaker 1: thing and they hear something else, and then it math
[23:20] Speaker 1: comes out of their mouth. Okay, you tell us, Yeah,
[23:24] Speaker 1: I'm done with the hocus pocus.
[23:26] Speaker 4: Wow.
[23:28] Speaker 1: So I decided that this year, on the first of
[23:33] Speaker 1: every month, I was going to do a cinnamon ritual,
[23:35] Speaker 1: which is where you blow cinnamon into your home the
[23:40] Speaker 1: first of Sorry, yeah, I actually need to chat to
[23:45] Speaker 1: be takes exactly what.
[23:46] Speaker 5: Put cinnamon like the palm of your hand and then
[23:48] Speaker 5: you blow it into your house. Yes, and then you
[23:50] Speaker 5: have to vacuum. I guess at that point, well, you
[23:52] Speaker 5: don't do so much.
[23:54] Speaker 1: Yeah, where did you see this on Instagram?
[23:58] Speaker 2: Or like who who was doing it?
[24:00] Speaker 1: Like who was doing it? You know, like astrology influencers.
[24:07] Speaker 4: Aw.
[24:09] Speaker 1: So the cinnamon ritual is a popular spiritual manifestation practice,
[24:12] Speaker 1: mostly about attracting abundance, prosperity, and good energy. So yeah,
[24:16] Speaker 1: so basically you blow it and it's for wealth, luck
[24:19] Speaker 1: protection in your home. Okay. So I did it on
[24:23] Speaker 1: January first, and then January second. I went into the
[24:27] Speaker 1: er and I decided because I was going to go
[24:31] Speaker 1: do it on Sunday my cinnamon ritual, and Robbie was
[24:35] Speaker 1: like really, I was like, yeah, I want to do
[24:39] Speaker 1: the first of every month this year. He's like, did
[24:42] Speaker 1: you do it January first? I was like yeah, January
[24:45] Speaker 1: was not the best. I was like, he said, please,
[24:47] Speaker 1: don't do this one of the worst months of my life.
[24:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, please not in our home.
[24:53] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[24:53] Speaker 1: So you know what, I was like, He's right, I'm done.
[24:57] Speaker 1: I did not do my cinnamon ritual February first, And
[25:01] Speaker 1: if I see it on Instagram. I'm gonna leave it
[25:03] Speaker 1: on Instagram.
[25:05] Speaker 4: What about the twelve grapes.
[25:07] Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it anymore.
[25:08] Speaker 4: You did it.
[25:09] Speaker 1: I did it on New Year's Eve. Done with that,
[25:11] Speaker 1: done with it.
[25:11] Speaker 4: So done. Now horoscopes, goodbye. That's it.
[25:14] Speaker 5: No more horoscopes, No more hocus pocus. That would qualify.
[25:17] Speaker 1: No, no, okay, it's going to read the horoscopes you are.
[25:21] Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not what you refer to when you for
[25:23] Speaker 4: her focus. But no more enneagram right, because that's not.
[25:26] Speaker 1: Well, that's scientific, isn't it.
[25:33] Speaker 5: I'm not sure all right, but so like but love languages,
[25:37] Speaker 5: that's gone.
[25:37] Speaker 1: No more, No, that stays. That's not hocus pocus.
[25:41] Speaker 4: Okay, no, no, no, no, of course not.
[25:42] Speaker 1: You know what I mean when I say hocus pocus, well, yeah,
[25:44] Speaker 1: your honey jar and yeah, got it right.
[25:48] Speaker 5: And like ingredients, going to see that guy who's spit
[25:50] Speaker 5: into a metal bowl, You're not doing that anymore.
[25:52] Speaker 1: No, I'm definitely going back to him.
[25:57] Speaker 3: She's it's just like, if it involves like ingredients in
[26:00] Speaker 3: the home, she doesn't need to do it. Yes, yeah, yeah, okay,
[26:04] Speaker 3: So no more of the blowing cinement change.
[26:07] Speaker 4: Really, when you think about it.
[26:09] Speaker 5: It's just your New Year's I'm getting a look, it's
[26:12] Speaker 5: just your new Year's ritual.
[26:16] Speaker 3: Listen, I'm with Robbie on this. Like whatever you did
[26:20] Speaker 3: January first? No mos like none?
[26:26] Speaker 1: Yeah, changing it up, you.
[26:27] Speaker 2: Know, maybe pray, maybe just pray.
[26:30] Speaker 1: I've been doing it daily. Thank you, thank you for
[26:32] Speaker 1: that suggestion.
[26:34] Speaker 2: I think that's a beautiful switch daily.
[26:37] Speaker 1: But I hadn't been praying daily and in a minute
[26:40] Speaker 1: a journal. But you're going good? All right, She's back
[26:44] Speaker 1: in action, Okay, back on the knees. There were some
[26:47] Speaker 1: responses for your noisy neighbors.
[26:50] Speaker 2: Are they moved out?
[26:50] Speaker 1: By the way I think they are?
[26:52] Speaker 2: Okay, No, you haven't heard anything.
[26:53] Speaker 1: I haven't heard a thing, and I haven't seen cars
[26:55] Speaker 1: parked in front in like a couple of days. I
[26:58] Speaker 1: do think they did move out.
[26:59] Speaker 2: Mark, do you want to read something? Responses from Alie.
[27:03] Speaker 5: She said, maybe Tanya's neighbors have been hearing her for
[27:05] Speaker 5: months and months and this is the way of telling
[27:07] Speaker 5: her that they can hear her. They're moving, so they
[27:10] Speaker 5: wanted to let her know before you go. Walls are
[27:13] Speaker 5: thin that way, now you know before you have new neighbors.
[27:17] Speaker 5: Really nice, It sounded kind of over the top, like
[27:19] Speaker 5: maybe they were just putting on a show to let
[27:20] Speaker 5: you know that this is something we can hear.
[27:22] Speaker 1: Wait, Mark and I did get a chance.
[27:24] Speaker 4: To hear, and yes, Tanya played a definitely.
[27:27] Speaker 1: Did sound like what she assumed was happening. Yeah, thank you, Yeah,
[27:32] Speaker 1: thank you for the validation.
[27:34] Speaker 5: If you're looking for warding to address the noise issue
[27:36] Speaker 5: with neighbors, try this. Remember when both of our cars
[27:39] Speaker 5: got banged down the street. Well, I promised myself if
[27:42] Speaker 5: I heard anything else, i'd reach out. Turns out I
[27:44] Speaker 5: heard you getting banged in your home? Can you hear
[27:46] Speaker 5: us too? It's not bad?
[27:49] Speaker 2: Can you hear us too?
[27:50] Speaker 1: It was so funny, so crazy. Yeah, you know, when
[27:54] Speaker 1: I played it out, the scenario of like how you
[27:57] Speaker 1: do that? How I would do it, it did make
[27:59] Speaker 1: me a little quel.
[28:00] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[28:01] Speaker 1: So then I thought maybe an anonymous like letter would.
[28:05] Speaker 2: Help anymous I'm your neighbor.
[28:09] Speaker 1: It's got yeah, but I'm hoping they think it's the
[28:13] Speaker 1: other side.
[28:16] Speaker 3: Well, you don't have to worry about it anymore. But
[28:18] Speaker 3: I do think it's a It was a good lesson
[28:20] Speaker 3: of knowing that you can be heard, but quite loudly.
[28:26] Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, it was definitely a lesson. It was a
[28:28] Speaker 1: lesson that took note. I took note, and windows will
[28:35] Speaker 1: be shut when when that time comes.
[28:40] Speaker 3: What did you think about Harry styles appearance last night
[28:43] Speaker 3: at the Grammys?
[28:44] Speaker 1: I thought, whoever works with the Grammys and put that song?
[28:48] Speaker 1: Whereas my husband as he walked out on stage was genius. Genius.
[28:56] Speaker 1: That's the level I need, the level of thoughtfulness, Yes, genius. Yeah,
[29:03] Speaker 1: what you thought he looked bad that he looked back? Yeah,
[29:07] Speaker 1: I kind of missed his old hair.
[29:10] Speaker 3: But I mean, I don't think I think he's so cute.
[29:12] Speaker 3: I don't think he can look bad. There's just something
[29:14] Speaker 3: about It's his aura though. It's like he's physically attractive, obviously,
[29:19] Speaker 3: but there's something about him that's that's what makes him.
[29:23] Speaker 1: The aura gives.
[29:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's got it. Yeah, and he knows it.
[29:27] Speaker 1: He knows it.
[29:28] Speaker 3: But the fans are outraged by his ticket prices, Yes,
[29:32] Speaker 3: they are. Basically it's kind of the Taylor Swift thing, right, So.
[29:38] Speaker 1: I haven't actually gone on to purchase tickets for this show,
[29:41] Speaker 1: so I don't know.
[29:44] Speaker 4: Well, they sold out in twelve minutes, so I don't
[29:46] Speaker 4: think that.
[29:46] Speaker 1: Makes sense that you aren't able to get on there
[29:48] Speaker 1: and look.
[29:49] Speaker 5: Yeah you don't waste your time now, but prices didn't
[29:52] Speaker 5: slow people down clearly, clearly.
[29:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my thing I have.
[30:00] Speaker 3: I feel I don't like that the artists get like this,
[30:05] Speaker 3: the brunt of their tickets being expensive.
[30:08] Speaker 1: Because who but who decides that?
[30:11] Speaker 2: I'm sure?
[30:12] Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if if they have I'm
[30:14] Speaker 3: sure at a certain extent they do have a say,
[30:17] Speaker 3: but if they have someone that's going, hey, people are
[30:20] Speaker 3: people are gonna buy these regardless of what the cost is.
[30:23] Speaker 3: Do you want us to cap them or not? Like,
[30:26] Speaker 3: I don't know, I guess for someone to do that,
[30:29] Speaker 3: it's a very integrity based move to make sure your
[30:37] Speaker 3: fans are just like everything's you know, capped. Yeah, But
[30:41] Speaker 3: at the same time, our world doesn't our world system
[30:44] Speaker 3: doesn't actually work like that, you know what I'm saying, right,
[30:47] Speaker 3: And people buy tickets and then they have all these
[30:49] Speaker 3: resale sites and it's like people are just desperate to go,
[30:53] Speaker 3: so they're spending the money. But I just think it's
[30:56] Speaker 3: like making it about the artist being a bad person
[31:00] Speaker 3: and are like, you know what I'm saying.
[31:01] Speaker 1: Right, Because who knows how involved he was.
[31:05] Speaker 2: I guess bad Bunny did have his Red Bunny.
[31:08] Speaker 5: All of the shows he did in Puerto Rico, which
[31:09] Speaker 5: were many, were between thirty five and two hundred and
[31:12] Speaker 5: fifty dollars. All tickets were in that range.
[31:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it is kind of crazy to imagine a
[31:17] Speaker 3: ticket price being more than two hundred and fifty dollars.
[31:20] Speaker 5: Yes, and all food was below ten dollars.
[31:22] Speaker 1: But if you think about it, I feel like there
[31:24] Speaker 1: are tiers because like when we were getting our tailor tickets,
[31:27] Speaker 1: if you're getting front row, I feel like some of
[31:30] Speaker 1: those front row tickets were like thousands.
[31:33] Speaker 2: Like in the tens of thousands. Yeah.
[31:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, but then as you go back, yeah, the tickets
[31:38] Speaker 1: in the back. But what I appreciate about Taylor's show
[31:41] Speaker 1: is that her screens were so big that I feel
[31:44] Speaker 1: like like that's the whole thing is like she made
[31:47] Speaker 1: it to where even if you had a really high
[31:50] Speaker 1: up seat, you could still see. Yeah.
[31:54] Speaker 3: But I think the thing is is with ticket prices
[31:56] Speaker 3: right now, because they're so competitive that even if you're
[31:59] Speaker 3: in the noseble, you'd.
[32:00] Speaker 1: See they're like one hundred and fifty bucks.
[32:01] Speaker 2: They're so expensive. Yeah, and you're like, wait, I'm I'm.
[32:05] Speaker 1: Just trying to get yeah, yeah, space.
[32:09] Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, I guess there, And I guess when
[32:14] Speaker 3: you hear about people like Bad Bunny doing it, that's
[32:17] Speaker 3: why it's kind of like a call to other artists, like, no,
[32:19] Speaker 3: wonder if.
[32:20] Speaker 5: It's easy to do that in Puerto rican or somewhere else,
[32:22] Speaker 5: because maybe you're not under the thumb of Ticketmaster.
[32:25] Speaker 4: I don't know how that right, and like how.
[32:26] Speaker 1: The taxes and stuff. Well, I guess, I don't know.
[32:30] Speaker 5: Artists have tried to fight the Ticketmaster thing for years
[32:32] Speaker 5: and years and they've always failed.
[32:33] Speaker 4: So I don't know.
[32:34] Speaker 5: If Ticketmaster doesn't have doesn't reach into Puerto Rico, I
[32:37] Speaker 5: don't know.
[32:37] Speaker 4: I don't know how any.
[32:38] Speaker 2: Of this works.
[32:38] Speaker 5: But good for Bad Bunny and I was very happy
[32:40] Speaker 5: to see that.
[32:40] Speaker 1: You want Yeah, me too, think of that.
[32:43] Speaker 5: When you're starting out as a musician in Puerto Rico,
[32:46] Speaker 5: you don't envision one day winning Album of the Year
[32:49] Speaker 5: at the Grammys, especially since there's never been an Album
[32:51] Speaker 5: of the Year that wasn't in English. Yeah, that's just
[32:53] Speaker 5: an incredible accomplishment.
[32:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, I just was so good. He there has been
[32:59] Speaker 1: so much scuttle with the Super Bowl stuff.
[33:02] Speaker 3: Yeah, and it just felt so beautiful to watch him
[33:07] Speaker 3: when multiple times and it's.
[33:08] Speaker 5: He's having a moment like Kendrick had his moment last
[33:11] Speaker 5: year one record of the year.
[33:12] Speaker 1: I didn't realize the super Bowl was next weekend, like
[33:15] Speaker 1: either he's seeing a little a little ditty or something,
[33:19] Speaker 1: and I was like, oh no, it's like literally in
[33:21] Speaker 1: a few days.
[33:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, back to back, that's right. Happy, So happy for him. Okay,
[33:30] Speaker 3: we're gonna take a Oh what do you have?
[33:33] Speaker 1: Have you been seeing the Margot Robbie and Jacob Alordi stuff?
[33:35] Speaker 3: Yes, we should talk about it. Yeah, okay when we
[33:39] Speaker 3: come back.
[33:59] Speaker 2: We are back. Okay.
[34:01] Speaker 3: So, Margot, Robbie and Jacob Lordi are in Wuthering Heights
[34:05] Speaker 3: together and there has been a lot of mutual love
[34:10] Speaker 3: shared between them on this press tour.
[34:13] Speaker 1: Yes, what are your thoughts on it? What are your
[34:16] Speaker 1: thoughts on it?
[34:16] Speaker 3: Oh?
[34:17] Speaker 2: You storry you brought it up.
[34:18] Speaker 4: We'll give us the details.
[34:19] Speaker 1: Well, I feel like this pertains mostly to you because
[34:22] Speaker 1: you have a fiance in the entertainment industry, so like, well,
[34:29] Speaker 1: I'll explain. So they are starring in Withering Heights, which
[34:33] Speaker 1: looks amazing. It's in theaters February thirteenth, right before Valentine's Day. Genius.
[34:40] Speaker 1: But as they've been doing all this press, I'll just
[34:42] Speaker 1: basically give you the cliff notes. Margot Robbie got them
[34:46] Speaker 1: these like matching signet rings that have this inscription on them.
[34:50] Speaker 1: Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are
[34:53] Speaker 1: the same. Jacob Alordi decorated her trailer in Roses on
[34:59] Speaker 1: Valentine's from Heathcliff, which is his character in the movie,
[35:03] Speaker 1: and along with several other things like Margot Robbie said
[35:07] Speaker 1: that she's like codependent on him on set. I mean,
[35:10] Speaker 1: the list goes on and on, but that's kind of
[35:12] Speaker 1: the gist of it.
[35:13] Speaker 2: And her husband.
[35:15] Speaker 3: Margot's husband serves as an executive producer in the.
[35:18] Speaker 1: Film correct, which means he's met Jacob. I'm sure he
[35:22] Speaker 1: knows Jacob.
[35:22] Speaker 2: Well, listen, this is a press stour, and.
[35:28] Speaker 3: I feel like people have seen the way that it
[35:32] Speaker 3: ramps up the hype for the movie, regardless of what
[35:34] Speaker 3: PA about it.
[35:36] Speaker 1: And Ariana like their their codependency on each other. I
[35:39] Speaker 1: feel like became its own thing.
[35:41] Speaker 3: Well, it's like Sidney Sweeney and Glenn pwell, you know,
[35:44] Speaker 3: like ramped up the chemistry for the movie, thinking that
[35:48] Speaker 3: they have this like love, even if it's a platonic
[35:51] Speaker 3: love in real life.
[35:53] Speaker 1: I don't know why it hits different because she's married
[35:55] Speaker 1: to me.
[35:57] Speaker 3: Same but her husband being in a executive producer, he's like,
[36:02] Speaker 3: I feel like he's.
[36:02] Speaker 2: In on the game.
[36:03] Speaker 1: It's like, hey, you just sell this movie, baby. I
[36:06] Speaker 1: just feel like Marmo Robbie is so above that, do
[36:09] Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like she she's such a
[36:12] Speaker 1: mega famous superstar, Like she doesn't need to just like
[36:16] Speaker 1: create something to people for people to watch the movie,
[36:20] Speaker 1: do you know what I mean?
[36:21] Speaker 2: I think everyone's doing this now though. Really yeah, I
[36:25] Speaker 2: feel like.
[36:25] Speaker 3: Even you know, it's interesting because I've been watching all
[36:29] Speaker 3: the interviews with Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien, which they
[36:32] Speaker 3: have like talk about like this friendship and this bond
[36:35] Speaker 3: that they have, but it feels very platonic, Like it's
[36:38] Speaker 3: not worded in like a super romantic way, but it's
[36:42] Speaker 3: this going on press tours together and having these I'm
[36:46] Speaker 3: so jealous chicks in the office got to interview them.
[36:49] Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so happy for y'all and also
[36:52] Speaker 3: just seething with jealousy.
[36:54] Speaker 1: The movie looks really good actually so scary, Yeah, a
[36:57] Speaker 1: good scary.
[36:58] Speaker 2: But yeah, I.
[36:59] Speaker 3: Feel like that's just what people are doing to hype
[37:02] Speaker 3: up movies, because now I think it takes a little
[37:05] Speaker 3: more to get people to go to the theaters because
[37:08] Speaker 3: I think a lot of people because.
[37:10] Speaker 1: Opening weekend is everything for these movies, right, and then
[37:13] Speaker 1: people a lot there's a lot of people, like the Marks
[37:15] Speaker 1: of the World, who just wait till things come out
[37:17] Speaker 1: on streaming.
[37:18] Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like this push to be like, I
[37:21] Speaker 3: need to go see what all this is about.
[37:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, which I do want to see what all this
[37:26] Speaker 1: is about, you know what I mean?
[37:27] Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, But because now if it was me.
[37:33] Speaker 3: And it was Haley and Margot Robbie talking about how
[37:37] Speaker 3: codependent they were on each other, I would be like, let.
[37:41] Speaker 2: Me get in on that.
[37:44] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[37:44] Speaker 1: I don't even not like it. I don't think it
[37:46] Speaker 1: would be very hard. Yeah, I think.
[37:48] Speaker 3: I think her husband being a part of all of
[37:50] Speaker 3: it makes me go, oh, he's.
[37:53] Speaker 1: But I'm wondering if there's this part of you, if
[37:55] Speaker 1: you're an actor and you're supposed to be so deeply
[37:57] Speaker 1: in love for this role, there's a part of you
[38:00] Speaker 1: that has to disassociate from your real life and become
[38:05] Speaker 1: in love with this character that you're playing and the
[38:08] Speaker 1: person that they love. Like that's also like kind of freaky.
[38:12] Speaker 3: No, I mean yeah, I think that's why it's like
[38:17] Speaker 3: Brandelina happened. And you know, it's like, you get two
[38:20] Speaker 3: of the hottest people in the world on a movie
[38:22] Speaker 3: set having to be in love with each other.
[38:25] Speaker 2: What could go wrong?
[38:26] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[38:26] Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, so it's got God's strongest soldiers are
[38:30] Speaker 3: the people dating and married to these movie stars.
[38:35] Speaker 2: These stars.
[38:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, of those, I couldn't handle it even
[38:40] Speaker 1: I remember Robbie has a coffee meeting with a client.
[38:43] Speaker 1: I'm like, woo, just a Faber.
[38:47] Speaker 2: Is in that music video.
[38:49] Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know, I Haley did that. Yeah, so yeah,
[38:54] Speaker 3: bless up. I'm excited to see the movie. I hope
[38:56] Speaker 3: it's amazing.
[38:57] Speaker 1: I think it is going to be amazing.
[38:59] Speaker 2: I really do.
[39:01] Speaker 3: Hope it is, because I've I've been very excited to
[39:04] Speaker 3: see it.
[39:05] Speaker 1: How's your pickup basketball league going? Oh?
[39:09] Speaker 4: Great?
[39:09] Speaker 3: I played last week. It was super fun. Just one
[39:13] Speaker 3: of the girls brought me basketball shoes.
[39:16] Speaker 2: Okay, so.
[39:18] Speaker 3: The first time I played, I was just in my
[39:20] Speaker 3: regular clothes and sneakers and not because I don't like
[39:25] Speaker 3: I am capable of getting clothing and gear for myself.
[39:30] Speaker 3: But I was like, I'm just gonna go check it
[39:31] Speaker 3: out where what I have? And everyone's like.
[39:34] Speaker 1: Hey, I have some basketball shoes that you that people
[39:37] Speaker 1: have sent me.
[39:37] Speaker 3: I'll bring them for you. Like feeling could tell that
[39:39] Speaker 3: they're feeling bad.
[39:40] Speaker 1: For me because do they stick to the floor.
[39:42] Speaker 3: The basketball shoes are way easier to play in on
[39:45] Speaker 3: a basketball court because you're not sliding around so much.
[39:48] Speaker 3: So Ray brought me some shoes that shoe was sent
[39:52] Speaker 3: and they were my size. So I had basketball shoes.
[39:55] Speaker 3: I felt way more like a hooper.
[39:56] Speaker 2: They were like, wow, Becca's slowly.
[40:00] Speaker 1: They're coming up, basketball player.
[40:01] Speaker 2: They were like, next, we got to get you some shorts.
[40:03] Speaker 1: Do you play tomorrow too?
[40:05] Speaker 3: No, I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow with whom Haley and
[40:12] Speaker 3: In two of her employees.
[40:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, are you jealous?
[40:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited though, so I'll get my exercise in.
[40:21] Speaker 5: This is a good time A year ago, it is. Yeah,
[40:23] Speaker 5: there's not a lot going on there. Kids are in school,
[40:26] Speaker 5: a lot of family don't plan a lot of trips
[40:28] Speaker 5: in February from around the country. So yeah, it's pretty
[40:30] Speaker 5: good time to go.
[40:31] Speaker 2: It's gonna be hot, though it's hot in.
[40:33] Speaker 5: You're beating weekend President's Day weekend.
[40:35] Speaker 1: You know what. I actually, this girl that I met
[40:38] Speaker 1: is getting married in March, and she was this March
[40:42] Speaker 1: and she was asking me about getting married the month
[40:45] Speaker 1: of March, and you know what, I wanted to give
[40:48] Speaker 1: just a little pro tip to anybody that's out there
[40:50] Speaker 1: maybe perhaps planning a wedding. Uh huh, Becca, March is
[40:57] Speaker 1: a really excellent month to get married because May, June, July, August, September,
[41:05] Speaker 1: or like the wedding months, everybody is like going to
[41:08] Speaker 1: wedding after wedding, they usually kind of just like pile
[41:13] Speaker 1: on right. So unless you're like in the very forefront
[41:15] Speaker 1: of those months, people get wedding fatigue. Okay, in March,
[41:21] Speaker 1: there's not a lot of weddings going on. People usually
[41:24] Speaker 1: travel around the holidays, and then they don't in January
[41:27] Speaker 1: and January that it was the longest month of the year.
[41:29] Speaker 1: Everybody always says it. February people don't really travel either,
[41:32] Speaker 1: and so they're like fresh out of like wanting to
[41:36] Speaker 1: just have like a good time in March.
[41:40] Speaker 3: We were also looking at the least humid months in
[41:44] Speaker 3: certain areas where we are thinking about, and it was
[41:48] Speaker 3: like basically December through April, so we were thinking March
[41:53] Speaker 3: we had. I mean, there wasn't anything about your wedding
[41:56] Speaker 3: that I didn't feel was a good choice.
[41:59] Speaker 1: But I think the destination part of it was like
[42:01] Speaker 1: an important factor because people hadn't been away, like you
[42:07] Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like people aren't people aren't really
[42:09] Speaker 1: doing much. January and February, they were especially ready to travel.
[42:12] Speaker 1: They were freshly ready. They wanted to they were ready
[42:14] Speaker 1: to get away. They wanted to get away come May, June, July, August.
[42:18] Speaker 1: People do get a little bit of wedding fatigue because
[42:22] Speaker 1: there's so many well.
[42:23] Speaker 3: We're like not trying to be overly hot anywhere, so
[42:27] Speaker 3: the summer's out much okay, unless we go somewhere that
[42:31] Speaker 3: doesn't have a.
[42:31] Speaker 1: Well in La like May is quite nice.
[42:34] Speaker 3: M hmmm, yeah, I don't know that La is my
[42:36] Speaker 3: wedding destination. My wedding communication just sharing anyways, for anybody
[42:41] Speaker 3: that is, for anyone who's I'm there in that season
[42:44] Speaker 3: of life.
[42:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well that is all.
[42:47] Speaker 2: I will say.
[42:48] Speaker 3: You know, I wanted to talk about Bad Bunny speech
[42:51] Speaker 3: when he said, you know, there is a lot of
[42:54] Speaker 3: hate going on.
[42:55] Speaker 1: In the world.
[42:56] Speaker 3: It's it's being there, it's visceral, it's very tense, and
[43:00] Speaker 3: it's the only thing that's stronger than hate is love.
[43:03] Speaker 3: And I loved that he said that because it's obviously
[43:06] Speaker 3: something we hear all the time, but it's just a
[43:09] Speaker 3: reminder of like how we speak to each other and
[43:13] Speaker 3: how we perceive people and how we perceive the world.
[43:17] Speaker 3: We don't need more hate going back and forth. And
[43:20] Speaker 3: even though it's really hard sometimes to show love, it's
[43:24] Speaker 3: it's the only thing more powerful than hate.
[43:26] Speaker 1: True.
[43:27] Speaker 3: So just a reminder of that out there. And I
[43:30] Speaker 3: love you all.
[43:32] Speaker 1: I love you all.
[43:32] Speaker 2: Thank you for being here.
[43:33] Speaker 3: We'll be back with the Dear Bonio on Thursday, and
[43:37] Speaker 3: we love you so much.
[43:38] Speaker 1: Love you bye.
