[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in?
[0:15] Speaker 3: Is that scrubbing in life with my scrubbing in wife?
[0:21] Speaker 2: What's going on?
[0:22] Speaker 1: Love is in the air. That's really the theme of
[0:25] Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Actually it is the theme of twenty
[0:28] Speaker 1: twenty five because I got married this year and you
[0:31] Speaker 1: got proposed to and you proposed Yeah.
[0:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, So twenty twenty five was the year of.
[0:38] Speaker 2: Love, l ov love, love and commitment.
[0:41] Speaker 1: Yes, locking it down? Yeah, the old ball and chain, right, yeah.
[0:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, the old volunteer. Yeah.
[0:51] Speaker 1: I feel like there was still stuff we didn't get
[0:53] Speaker 1: to about your proposal. But do you feel like we
[0:55] Speaker 1: covered everything?
[0:57] Speaker 2: I feel like we did. Is there anything that I missed?
[1:02] Speaker 2: I felt like we covered everything.
[1:07] Speaker 4: And I'm trying to think if I have any lingering questions, I.
[1:10] Speaker 5: Will say picking on an outfit was interesting because first
[1:13] Speaker 5: of all, I sent us like, I sent a voted
[1:16] Speaker 5: to Tanya of like I think this is the outfit
[1:18] Speaker 5: I was gonna wear.
[1:19] Speaker 2: And it wasn't the exact outfit. It was similar, but like.
[1:23] Speaker 5: Whatever, and she goes cute, no, excellent, nothing, so like
[1:27] Speaker 5: not Tanya energy.
[1:29] Speaker 2: It was like she does not like the outfit.
[1:32] Speaker 1: I need to preface this because the picture that you
[1:34] Speaker 1: sent me wasn't even like a good photo.
[1:36] Speaker 3: It was like a photo of like a TikTok.
[1:39] Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's all I had. It was like a
[1:41] Speaker 5: screenshot from a TikTok. Okay, so you see the outfit.
[1:43] Speaker 1: Oh, it's blurry and it's like far away. It was
[1:47] Speaker 1: not a good photo. Yes, show the people the photo.
[1:49] Speaker 3: I'm gonna ask.
[1:50] Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask what chatchypt easton? Actually, oh thank you.
[1:56] Speaker 3: I thought you're gonna ask.
[1:59] Speaker 1: Uh And I would like to give you my second
[2:04] Speaker 1: uh rebuttal.
[2:07] Speaker 2: Okay, can you see that that's a very cute outfit.
[2:12] Speaker 5: Cute?
[2:12] Speaker 1: I said, cute, but you understand that, like yeah, okay,
[2:17] Speaker 1: it's also jingle ball day. Okay, So I see it,
[2:22] Speaker 1: and I do feel I felt bad when you were
[2:24] Speaker 1: like not the response I needed. I was like, oh
[2:26] Speaker 1: my gosh, I'm a horrible friend. She's literally proposing to somebody.
[2:29] Speaker 1: She sent me a picture of her outfit, but like
[2:34] Speaker 1: she's proposing today and she sends me this picture and
[2:38] Speaker 1: I just said cute like I. In hindsight, I felt
[2:40] Speaker 1: very bad and I felt like a horrible friend. But
[2:42] Speaker 1: I did, like I got the on jingle ball days,
[2:45] Speaker 1: it's just like so frantic, do you know what I mean?
[2:48] Speaker 1: And so I was like very just frantic, Like I
[2:50] Speaker 1: was like getting my hair makeup done, trying to get
[2:52] Speaker 1: out the door, running late, like all the things. And
[2:55] Speaker 1: I didn't give you the attention that you deserved.
[2:58] Speaker 5: And an exclamation point would have gone far. It wasn't
[3:01] Speaker 5: like you saying cute, even if you're like, oh my gosh,
[3:05] Speaker 5: that's so cute.
[3:06] Speaker 2: I'm sorry I'm running late for jingle ball. That would
[3:10] Speaker 2: have worked.
[3:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, I should have given a little more content, but
[3:13] Speaker 1: it's okay. You know, I'm learning a lot about myself
[3:15] Speaker 1: and there's room to grow.
[3:16] Speaker 2: It's okay, and there's room to be better. I ended
[3:19] Speaker 2: up change I like I had the same back.
[3:23] Speaker 5: It was basically the same outfit. I just had the
[3:25] Speaker 5: jacket on the match's skirt. That's what I changed. Yes,
[3:30] Speaker 5: And I posted the fit before I posted anything about
[3:34] Speaker 5: the proposal, and I got a lot of validation. So
[3:36] Speaker 5: I was like, it doesn't matter. I'm saying my my
[3:40] Speaker 5: like sadness was gone. I was like, Okay, it was cute.
[3:43] Speaker 5: But my other thought was like I didn't know what
[3:45] Speaker 5: she was gonna wear. And I kept telling to him
[3:47] Speaker 5: because Haley's very she loves cozy, she loves casual, and
[3:50] Speaker 5: I was like, she might go to the tea ceremony
[3:52] Speaker 5: in sweats, like I don't know.
[3:54] Speaker 3: And I was like, you like cute sweats, elevated sweats.
[3:57] Speaker 2: No, no, maybe, I don't know, maybe a row.
[4:00] Speaker 5: Don't know how shoot, So I was like, can you
[4:03] Speaker 5: have like tell her the tea ceremony, you know, it's
[4:06] Speaker 5: a ritual, so basically.
[4:10] Speaker 2: Let her know it's something she should be dress. Yeah.
[4:13] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[4:13] Speaker 2: So when I was.
[4:14] Speaker 5: Picking my outfit, I was like, I have to kind
[4:17] Speaker 5: of match her vibe because I can't go to like
[4:20] Speaker 5: I can't be in like auge dress, Like yeah, that
[4:23] Speaker 5: would be unfair to like catch her off guard and
[4:26] Speaker 5: be like totally.
[4:27] Speaker 2: Off you know.
[4:29] Speaker 5: So that was that was fun, like choosing my outfit
[4:31] Speaker 5: that was like the cutest outfit I had for the trip.
[4:33] Speaker 5: Everything else was pretty chilling casual.
[4:35] Speaker 2: So I was like this is.
[4:39] Speaker 5: Because oh and then the day that they got to
[4:42] Speaker 5: the hotel the day before I proposed they had gotten
[4:45] Speaker 5: there in the morning.
[4:45] Speaker 2: I just stayed to my room the whole day. I
[4:47] Speaker 2: did not leave my room.
[4:48] Speaker 5: Because I was and I had her location so I
[4:51] Speaker 5: could see she wasn't at the hotel. But I was like,
[4:53] Speaker 5: what if it's.
[4:53] Speaker 1: Wrong, or like, what if you're like enjoying a nice
[4:57] Speaker 1: cup of macha or something and they come back.
[5:00] Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying, Yeah, because I was like, maybe
[5:02] Speaker 5: I could go down to the spa and you just
[5:04] Speaker 5: like chill use the amenities.
[5:05] Speaker 2: But I was like, what if they come down to
[5:07] Speaker 2: the spa? How horrible would that be? No, So I
[5:09] Speaker 2: was just locked in my room all day.
[5:11] Speaker 3: Did you watch anything good?
[5:13] Speaker 5: No? Because I didn't have my VP, I couldn't get
[5:15] Speaker 5: my VPN thing to work.
[5:16] Speaker 1: So I was just raw dogging twenty four hours and
[5:20] Speaker 1: tell a lot of TikTok.
[5:21] Speaker 5: I called a lot of people that day, So I
[5:23] Speaker 5: did that, but yeah, a lot of that. I gone
[5:27] Speaker 5: to seven eleven because the Japan and the seven Eleven's
[5:30] Speaker 5: in Japan have like the best snacks.
[5:32] Speaker 4: I've heard stories.
[5:34] Speaker 2: You would, and so I stocked up the night before.
[5:38] Speaker 2: So I had a lot of snackies that I was
[5:40] Speaker 2: eating and stuff. But yeah, it was a full day
[5:42] Speaker 2: of solitude with my thoughts. Wow, but I do well,
[5:46] Speaker 2: I do fine with that.
[5:49] Speaker 3: So now you're officially you're engaged. Hayley's engaged. The year
[5:56] Speaker 3: is ending and a new year is upon us, the
[6:01] Speaker 3: year of mom.
[6:03] Speaker 1: M m, yes, it is the year of mom. I
[6:07] Speaker 1: was thinking more along lines of for you, the year
[6:10] Speaker 1: of planning.
[6:12] Speaker 5: Oh, wedding planning. Yeah, I mean, I'm assuming this will
[6:15] Speaker 5: be the year. If the plan is to have the
[6:18] Speaker 5: wedding in twenty twenty seven, which is kind of what
[6:20] Speaker 5: we thought.
[6:21] Speaker 2: This would be the year that we planned.
[6:23] Speaker 5: Although you planned your quite fast and it's starting the
[6:26] Speaker 5: next year.
[6:27] Speaker 1: When I think about it, I'm like, even though it
[6:29] Speaker 1: took us a year and a half from proposal to marriage,
[6:33] Speaker 1: we really planned. We locked in our venue in October,
[6:36] Speaker 1: so we had basically November, December, January, February. We had
[6:39] Speaker 1: four months to plan our wedding.
[6:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was amazing.
[6:42] Speaker 5: So it makes me feel less daunted by the idea
[6:45] Speaker 5: of planning for a long time.
[6:46] Speaker 1: Yeah, you really can take your time, like you can
[6:50] Speaker 1: like to like find you know what I mean, like
[6:52] Speaker 1: find your plan, like step by step you do the planner,
[6:55] Speaker 1: and then you you can give yourself so much time
[6:57] Speaker 1: to meet with various different planners. Then you can scout locations,
[7:01] Speaker 1: like you can spend a couple of months like scouting
[7:03] Speaker 1: different venues, you know, like we did it all.
[7:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
[7:08] Speaker 5: I've had a lot of planners reach out, you know,
[7:10] Speaker 5: so I'm like I just need to go through and
[7:12] Speaker 5: like meet with them and see who's going to be
[7:14] Speaker 5: the best fit. But I also thinking about the location
[7:19] Speaker 5: because even that's like the biggest factor, I know, being
[7:23] Speaker 5: in Japan, because he was like, do we get married here?
[7:26] Speaker 5: And I'm like, this is so far like if we
[7:29] Speaker 5: did something super intimate, like I could see as doing it,
[7:32] Speaker 5: but it is such a far trek for people, and
[7:36] Speaker 5: we would need to get there like at least a
[7:38] Speaker 5: week before to feel totally rested.
[7:42] Speaker 2: But you could do though, I know.
[7:44] Speaker 1: That was like we know we wanted to do Europe.
[7:46] Speaker 1: Europe was like our first Like.
[7:49] Speaker 5: Well, you can just get places and venues for so
[7:52] Speaker 5: much cheaper than you can out here in the States.
[7:56] Speaker 5: It's so expensive here, yeah, and you can get like
[7:58] Speaker 5: a castle in your for nothing.
[8:01] Speaker 1: That was like our big thing, like we were like
[8:03] Speaker 1: literally gonna do it. We've had a wedding planner in
[8:06] Speaker 1: Italy and we were like scouting venues. We like put
[8:09] Speaker 1: like money into it, like we were gonna like do
[8:11] Speaker 1: it there, and then it came down to like being
[8:15] Speaker 1: jet lagged. So we were like we'd have to get
[8:17] Speaker 1: out there, you know however long ahead of time, and
[8:19] Speaker 1: it's harder for us because I have my full time job,
[8:22] Speaker 1: we have the kids fifty percent of the time, like,
[8:24] Speaker 1: and then a lot of people in our lives, like
[8:27] Speaker 1: in our immediate families all have kids in school, and
[8:30] Speaker 1: it was just like it's too it was just too much,
[8:34] Speaker 1: so we scrapped it.
[8:34] Speaker 3: But we were like fully in Italy for like three
[8:37] Speaker 3: months like scouting yeah.
[8:39] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[8:40] Speaker 1: We had like a spreadsheet with like venues and costs
[8:42] Speaker 1: and like wha yeah.
[8:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, we have to kind of narrow that down.
[8:46] Speaker 1: So it is so special too, It's like it really
[8:49] Speaker 1: does give people like a full experience somewhere that they've
[8:53] Speaker 1: never been, Like it makes it more and then you'd
[8:56] Speaker 1: have to give like a lot of lead time.
[8:57] Speaker 3: That was the other thing.
[8:57] Speaker 1: We were like, we need to give people at least
[9:00] Speaker 1: six months notice, like at least maybe even a.
[9:02] Speaker 2: Year for it for Europe. Yeah, yeah, I know, and
[9:06] Speaker 2: what you did was great.
[9:07] Speaker 5: Because everyone got to have a weekend and experience, but
[9:10] Speaker 5: it wasn't like so far.
[9:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't so far.
[9:13] Speaker 3: So that's how we landed on Mexico.
[9:14] Speaker 1: I know.
[9:15] Speaker 5: So we just have to kind of narrow that down
[9:17] Speaker 5: and then figure out where to go from there. But
[9:20] Speaker 5: I think our location is going to be like the
[9:22] Speaker 5: biggest thing, and then from there I'm not looking forward
[9:26] Speaker 5: to like the little details because in my mind, I'm
[9:29] Speaker 5: like I don't pay attention to that stuff at weddings
[9:31] Speaker 5: and it's like you have to pick the cutlery and
[9:34] Speaker 5: all these things that like I don't like doing that stuff.
[9:37] Speaker 3: So we did it all literally in like a day.
[9:40] Speaker 2: I know, you just have to like sit down and
[9:42] Speaker 2: do it.
[9:43] Speaker 3: We flew out to our venue.
[9:44] Speaker 1: Our wedding planner had the whole Like we showed up
[9:47] Speaker 1: and there was like a table, dude, three different tables
[9:50] Speaker 1: and each of them had different place settings and we
[9:54] Speaker 1: kind of walked through like different chairs and everything, and
[9:56] Speaker 1: then we just kind of like made every combo of
[9:58] Speaker 1: like rehearsal dinner, wedding, and like that was it.
[10:02] Speaker 3: It was like two hours.
[10:03] Speaker 5: Yeah, we're just gonna have to Those are gonna be
[10:05] Speaker 5: the parts where we're just like we both are gonna
[10:08] Speaker 5: be dragging our feet.
[10:09] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying like, you don't have to make it
[10:11] Speaker 1: like a whole annoying thing.
[10:12] Speaker 3: Like we didn't want it to be a whole annoying thing.
[10:14] Speaker 1: So we were like, have it all set up, we'll
[10:16] Speaker 1: come in, we'll pick our favorites, and we'll be out.
[10:18] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[10:20] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[10:20] Speaker 5: And the other thing is trying to figure out because
[10:23] Speaker 5: I would love a situation where we both walk towards
[10:27] Speaker 5: each other where we meet for the like altar or whatever.
[10:31] Speaker 5: And so finding a venue like I found. I saw
[10:33] Speaker 5: this venue that had it was basically like all this
[10:37] Speaker 5: seats were set up and there's kind of a stage.
[10:39] Speaker 5: It's in the trees, and there's two staircases that come
[10:44] Speaker 5: down on either side. So it was like we could
[10:45] Speaker 5: both walk down and meet. That would be like the
[10:48] Speaker 5: ideal because you're still in front of everybody, you know,
[10:52] Speaker 5: you're you're having a hard time picturing it. Yeah, So
[10:55] Speaker 5: like you're you're sitting and then you're looking at a
[10:58] Speaker 5: stage and then on either no it's outside, but there's
[11:03] Speaker 5: like these two staircases that go up.
[11:06] Speaker 3: Where are you gonna find that?
[11:07] Speaker 2: No, I found it.
[11:08] Speaker 5: It's in I think it's in northern California. Yeah, it's beautiful.
[11:13] Speaker 5: But like that kind of thinking about those things too,
[11:15] Speaker 5: you know, is something that that we.
[11:18] Speaker 1: I feel like you could create that yourself anywhere though. No,
[11:21] Speaker 1: like you could kind of have everybody sitting in like
[11:25] Speaker 1: semi circle, in like a semicircle on two sides, so
[11:28] Speaker 1: that everybody's kind of like.
[11:29] Speaker 2: Kind of like Dean and Kaylen we were facing the aisle.
[11:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, like Dean and Kaylen, but we're in the middle middle.
[11:35] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[11:36] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:36] Speaker 5: So yeah, and we can make that anywhere if we
[11:38] Speaker 5: have enough space, right, and if it's not already set
[11:42] Speaker 5: up as like a stage or whatever. But that's kind
[11:44] Speaker 5: of the concept of thinking about venues and location and
[11:49] Speaker 5: then it'll be like dressed stuff, which that will be fun.
[11:53] Speaker 3: I think that needs to be done ahead of time.
[11:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, but you did yours so fast.
[12:00] Speaker 1: I got mine in September and that was like the cutoff,
[12:03] Speaker 1: Like they were like, if you do it any like later.
[12:06] Speaker 2: You did it before you even found the venue.
[12:08] Speaker 1: Yes, oh, in September, I see, I got my dress.
[12:12] Speaker 2: Okay, that's like.
[12:14] Speaker 1: The only thing because well and I didn't really have
[12:16] Speaker 1: many I didn't have any alterations. I only did the bottom,
[12:19] Speaker 1: you know, like I made it shorter. I think if
[12:21] Speaker 1: you have to like a lot of alterations, I think
[12:23] Speaker 1: you have to have like a lot of time.
[12:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, yours fit like a glove.
[12:26] Speaker 3: So yeah, she was made for me.
[12:28] Speaker 2: She was she was made for you.
[12:31] Speaker 1: It was so funny. I was talking to where was I? Oh,
[12:34] Speaker 1: I was at my plate studio and I was talking to.
[12:38] Speaker 3: This girl about I was like, yeah, I hadn't been
[12:42] Speaker 3: back to this plotty studo since June. And I was like,
[12:44] Speaker 3: you know, I.
[12:45] Speaker 1: Put so much work in before my wedding and then
[12:47] Speaker 1: like I went on my honeymoon and had this like
[12:49] Speaker 1: summer of my life and I just kind of like
[12:51] Speaker 1: have just fallen off the wagon. And she was like, ah,
[12:53] Speaker 1: you know, it's fine. She's like at least you'll get
[12:55] Speaker 1: on your wedding. I was like, I look great, And
[12:56] Speaker 1: she was your wedding dress like super tight and like
[12:59] Speaker 1: tight like all over, and I was like, actually no, I'm.
[13:04] Speaker 3: Like why did I care so much?
[13:05] Speaker 1: Like my wedding dress poofed out at the bottom, like
[13:09] Speaker 1: you only sell my arms.
[13:11] Speaker 3: You know, yeah, I know, I know. It's like a
[13:13] Speaker 3: mental thing.
[13:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, it is what you needed to do, Yeah, for yourself.
[13:17] Speaker 3: So maybe we start with wedding dress shopping.
[13:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, we should probably start there.
[13:22] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[13:24] Speaker 5: Yeah, those are like the two need to lock those
[13:27] Speaker 5: in first, and you could.
[13:28] Speaker 3: Look for dresses forever. It's not like you have to
[13:30] Speaker 3: you know, forever.
[13:32] Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is like, you don't have to
[13:34] Speaker 1: just go out one day and find your dress.
[13:36] Speaker 5: No, that's not how I in an ideal world.
[13:39] Speaker 1: Yes, but I know some people who have done like
[13:42] Speaker 1: a hundred, They've gone to like a hundred.
[13:45] Speaker 2: I'm not doing this, so I know.
[13:46] Speaker 3: I literally was like after.
[13:48] Speaker 1: My third store, I was like, if I don't find
[13:50] Speaker 1: it now, like it's going to be one of these
[13:52] Speaker 1: from one saying is like.
[13:54] Speaker 5: After the third store, at that point it's my own.
[13:57] Speaker 5: It's something about me that I.
[13:58] Speaker 2: Need to figure out right about me that I don't.
[14:01] Speaker 5: Like, Yeah, because that's a lot and I only have
[14:04] Speaker 5: so much like stamina for shopping and trying things on.
[14:08] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[14:09] Speaker 2: So I want to talk.
[14:11] Speaker 5: About your word for next year, Yes, And I want
[14:15] Speaker 5: to talk about the fact that Travis and Taylor have
[14:17] Speaker 5: not fought in two and a half hours.
[14:20] Speaker 2: I mean two and a half years as a couple.
[14:22] Speaker 3: I hope they don't fight every two and a half hours.
[14:25] Speaker 2: But we're going to talk about that when we come back.
[14:49] Speaker 3: We're back, jinks.
[14:53] Speaker 5: I was watching you to see when you were gonna
[14:55] Speaker 5: notice that we were back. So you you know, your
[14:58] Speaker 5: word of the year is become a legendary thing, very creative,
[15:04] Speaker 5: very uh manifestational, and this year, did you want to
[15:10] Speaker 5: announce it?
[15:11] Speaker 3: Well?
[15:11] Speaker 1: So, And this was really plaguing me for a long
[15:15] Speaker 1: time because I felt like my word last year was.
[15:17] Speaker 3: So good, Like I was like, wow, I like nailed it.
[15:21] Speaker 2: Last year.
[15:21] Speaker 3: It was wife.
[15:23] Speaker 1: Wife was the word, but it stood for woman in
[15:25] Speaker 1: full efflorescence.
[15:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean effluorescence itself is gorgeous?
[15:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you top that?
[15:33] Speaker 1: And like I did feel in a sense a little
[15:35] Speaker 1: bit like Taylor Swift, you know, like when you come
[15:37] Speaker 1: out with like a masterpiece, Like how do you top that?
[15:40] Speaker 1: I felt that same pressure that she feels.
[15:42] Speaker 2: It was the exact same pressure.
[15:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, and like I couldn't. I was like racking my brain.
[15:47] Speaker 1: I was like thinking of words and I was gonna
[15:48] Speaker 1: use like multiply because I want to like obviously I
[15:52] Speaker 1: want to like pro you know, pro create.
[15:54] Speaker 3: I want to like multiply like.
[15:56] Speaker 1: My time, my money, like all those you know, like
[15:58] Speaker 1: and I was like multiply, like I can't be go
[16:01] Speaker 1: from wife to multiply, you know. And yeah, I was
[16:07] Speaker 1: giving ed scheering and then and we love who we love,
[16:10] Speaker 1: but like I don't need to copy him, you know. Yeah,
[16:13] Speaker 1: and uh so, so it's kind of like going around
[16:16] Speaker 1: with like a bunch of words. And then I was like,
[16:18] Speaker 1: I gotta do mom. I gotta make mom M O
[16:20] Speaker 1: M and figure out some way to like make that work.
[16:24] Speaker 1: So it's officially Mom, and it's manifest optimize and multiply.
[16:28] Speaker 3: So I got a multiply in there.
[16:31] Speaker 1: But I posted it on Instagram the other day, like
[16:34] Speaker 1: asking people for like suggestions, and somebody wrote me one
[16:37] Speaker 1: that I actually think I like better.
[16:38] Speaker 2: Oh I know, breaking news. She might switch a word.
[16:41] Speaker 3: I might switch it, but uh wait, what was it?
[16:44] Speaker 3: It was? It was the same.
[16:45] Speaker 1: It was using mom, and uh they just like nailed it.
[16:49] Speaker 1: It was like, hold on, let me find it.
[16:52] Speaker 4: Is manifest to optimize and multiply. It's kind of like
[16:54] Speaker 4: giving LinkedIn or something.
[16:57] Speaker 2: It's giving. It's giving stock market.
[17:03] Speaker 3: It is, I mean, in a different.
[17:06] Speaker 5: Context, optimize and multiply give like uh.
[17:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, optimize multi.
[17:19] Speaker 3: Ew why that for me?
[17:23] Speaker 2: It's just very It's it's like you don't have efflorescent
[17:28] Speaker 2: in there, so it feels a little like.
[17:30] Speaker 1: Okay, somebody wrote mother modern optimistic Tanya helping everyone radiate.
[17:37] Speaker 3: I know, I love that, but it didn't really give me.
[17:39] Speaker 5: What what's happening with your hair on this siho?
[17:46] Speaker 3: Sorry, it's the end of the.
[17:51] Speaker 1: Okay, so magnificent optimistic mentor mom, metamorphosis opens magic?
[18:01] Speaker 5: Wait what about metamorphosis? Optimize and multiply?
[18:05] Speaker 3: What does metamorphosis mean?
[18:06] Speaker 2: Like a change like your growth?
[18:09] Speaker 3: So instead of manifest you think metamorphosis.
[18:14] Speaker 5: Or you could do multiply optimize metamorphosis.
[18:18] Speaker 3: I like that. I'm gonna go with that.
[18:21] Speaker 5: It gives you a little bit of whimsy, you know. Yeah,
[18:24] Speaker 5: and this is giving corporate although we like all those words.
[18:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it. Multiply optimize metamorphosis.
[18:35] Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, mom, Mom, I have not thought of a
[18:41] Speaker 5: word because I have about one brain cell. As you
[18:46] Speaker 5: tap into that soon and I'll announce it on Instagram.
[18:49] Speaker 3: You can even imagine.
[18:51] Speaker 1: Because I really feel like for some reason this year,
[18:54] Speaker 1: I at this point of the year like I'm so
[18:58] Speaker 1: burnt out, Like I feel just fried on every level.
[19:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you I feel like this year was weirdly
[19:06] Speaker 2: so busy for you personally and professionally.
[19:09] Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
[19:11] Speaker 5: I don't feel like I had a crazy like I
[19:12] Speaker 5: had a great, chill year.
[19:14] Speaker 2: Like I felt very I got to lay a lot.
[19:17] Speaker 3: Yeah, like I didn't lay until the last month.
[19:21] Speaker 2: Of that conversation. Well, I loved your post and we
[19:23] Speaker 2: love to lay. Easton Crystal's edit what of the video.
[19:28] Speaker 5: Yeah, but I was gonna say when we were in
[19:31] Speaker 5: Japan and Haley got sick, she was like, I'm so sorry,
[19:34] Speaker 5: I'm sick and we can't like go out and shop,
[19:36] Speaker 5: and I was like, I haven't gotten.
[19:38] Speaker 2: To lay this whole trip, Like this is my dream dream.
[19:42] Speaker 2: I am laying and living large. Yeah. But yeah, you
[19:47] Speaker 2: had a very busy year, very productive.
[19:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, it did, and it felt for us.
[19:51] Speaker 1: It felt like I feel like from the start of
[19:54] Speaker 1: the year until my wedding, it was so all consuming
[19:57] Speaker 1: about like wedding and then I don't know why, but
[20:01] Speaker 1: because we waited for our honeymoon and then we had
[20:03] Speaker 1: like a lot of trips and I had like a
[20:04] Speaker 1: huge work trip plan, so I was like, this is
[20:05] Speaker 1: going to be the summer of fun, Like I'm just
[20:07] Speaker 1: gonna like live it up, and like then you're basically
[20:10] Speaker 1: into September and then like life just like the work
[20:13] Speaker 1: and life just pile on.
[20:14] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[20:15] Speaker 5: Yeah, the September through December speed is like we studied
[20:21] Speaker 5: what happened.
[20:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, And I.
[20:23] Speaker 5: Thought it was more so when you have kids and
[20:25] Speaker 5: it's the rush of like holloways.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Back to school.
[20:28] Speaker 1: But it's something because I feel like there's all these
[20:31] Speaker 1: like events that it planned in September and then with
[20:34] Speaker 1: the holidays, with Halloween, I mean your birthdays in there,
[20:37] Speaker 1: so like that it's a whole other thing, and then
[20:39] Speaker 1: things it's like the big holidays all stack up so much.
[20:42] Speaker 4: Yeah, it truly does feel like Halloween was last weekend.
[20:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, it is crazy.
[20:49] Speaker 5: Another story that came out was that Travis and Taylor.
[20:52] Speaker 5: Travis said that in the two and a half years
[20:55] Speaker 5: that they've been together, they haven't they have never once
[20:58] Speaker 5: had an argument.
[21:00] Speaker 2: Is that crazy?
[21:01] Speaker 3: I thought about this.
[21:02] Speaker 1: I think they've had an argument, like they don't agree
[21:05] Speaker 1: on everything, but they've never had like a big fight.
[21:08] Speaker 2: I don't see you and Alison having big fights. Do
[21:11] Speaker 2: you all have big fights?
[21:12] Speaker 4: We we bicker from time to time, like you know,
[21:16] Speaker 4: but we we don't have big fights that often. We've
[21:19] Speaker 4: had them, Yeah, see they've had them.
[21:21] Speaker 3: That's normal.
[21:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[21:24] Speaker 4: I'm wondering what his definition of like I'm with you,
[21:28] Speaker 4: like I think.
[21:31] Speaker 1: I think he thinks like fighting is like yelling and
[21:33] Speaker 1: like slamming doors, like we've never done that.
[21:35] Speaker 3: I've throw my phone once though.
[21:39] Speaker 6: Rob, Yeah, just shattered it for no reason and I
[21:44] Speaker 6: didn't even mid Like when I say I like throw it,
[21:46] Speaker 6: I literally like when I opped it and like walked
[21:49] Speaker 6: out the door and then came right back.
[21:51] Speaker 5: I'm just curious if Taylor sitting there, like what is
[21:54] Speaker 5: he talking about?
[21:56] Speaker 2: This is not accurate. He totally missed. He didn't not
[22:00] Speaker 2: know that we were arguing when we were arguing.
[22:02] Speaker 1: Maybe that's what he thinks, Like he thinks it's like
[22:03] Speaker 1: a big blow up fight, which has to be the
[22:06] Speaker 1: case because there's no way after two and a half
[22:08] Speaker 1: years it didn't have somewhat of a squabble.
[22:10] Speaker 2: But I feel like it's fight.
[22:12] Speaker 5: There's a fight, and then there's an argument and he
[22:14] Speaker 5: specifically said argument.
[22:16] Speaker 2: So you think he just lumps them in together. Must
[22:20] Speaker 2: Kylie Kelsey was like, you notice Jason did not chime
[22:23] Speaker 2: in on that, because.
[22:25] Speaker 5: We certainly do not have the same story. Yeah. I
[22:29] Speaker 5: think it's so funny because I wouldn't say I would
[22:31] Speaker 5: say at the beginning our relationship, Haley and I would
[22:35] Speaker 5: argue a lot basically because our communication styles were just
[22:38] Speaker 5: so different. But I feel like this year specifically, we've
[22:42] Speaker 5: really been like on the same page.
[22:44] Speaker 2: And like, I also think.
[22:46] Speaker 5: Learning each other and knowing like what the triggers are
[22:49] Speaker 5: that make a simple a little argument turn into a
[22:53] Speaker 5: fight are so important because most things can be de escalated, yeah,
[22:57] Speaker 5: when you know the person and how to like handle
[23:00] Speaker 5: the situation. Yeah, But if you don't know and you're
[23:03] Speaker 5: just like triggering it and they just you're going in circles,
[23:07] Speaker 5: that's how it escalates.
[23:08] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[23:09] Speaker 1: And I think also too, like you're right, I think
[23:11] Speaker 1: you figure out figure it out in the beginning stages,
[23:13] Speaker 1: because I remember Robbie like needs time, like he just
[23:16] Speaker 1: wants to like have a little space and like think
[23:18] Speaker 1: about his thoughts. Whereas when I when he said that,
[23:21] Speaker 1: like my brain went to, like we're breaking up and
[23:23] Speaker 1: then I would just like freak out. I wouldn't let
[23:25] Speaker 1: him go to sleep until we like hash it out,
[23:27] Speaker 1: and like that's not super productive either, you know. So
[23:30] Speaker 1: it's like we've both learned how to kind of like
[23:33] Speaker 1: meet in the middle with that.
[23:34] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[23:34] Speaker 3: So it's like I won't say we argue better.
[23:37] Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's true, like, yeah, I also need space.
[23:40] Speaker 3: So it's like I hate that.
[23:42] Speaker 2: I know Ha hates it too, but I'm.
[23:45] Speaker 5: Like, I will be able to to peacefully come come
[23:50] Speaker 5: back better than if we try to do this right now.
[23:52] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[23:53] Speaker 2: But a lot of people were like this is not believable.
[23:56] Speaker 5: But I have friends I feel like who don't who
[23:58] Speaker 5: would say like they haven't had a big ballll fight,
[24:01] Speaker 5: But I don't know if anyone's not had arguments in.
[24:03] Speaker 2: Two and a half years.
[24:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know what I liked though, What I
[24:08] Speaker 1: like that George Clooney is like not taking on rolls exactly.
[24:11] Speaker 3: Yeah, that like are kissing people anymore?
[24:14] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's all done.
[24:15] Speaker 5: I like that.
[24:16] Speaker 3: I don't know why.
[24:17] Speaker 5: I was like, oh, but also I'm like, okay, so
[24:20] Speaker 5: now you're at an age where like it's not necessarily
[24:23] Speaker 5: like you're in demand to be like, you know what
[24:27] Speaker 5: I'm saying, like George, but I'm saying like I wonder,
[24:32] Speaker 5: I wonder if his wife is like, where was this
[24:35] Speaker 5: energy ten years ago?
[24:36] Speaker 3: Right right like right after we got married?
[24:39] Speaker 5: Man? But yeah, I think it's I think it's sweet
[24:43] Speaker 5: because it's like, does he need to be doing that anymore?
[24:47] Speaker 1: You know, dang, Becca, you really know how to take
[24:49] Speaker 1: the wind out of my sails.
[24:50] Speaker 5: I was like, so ecited George Clooney in his prime
[24:54] Speaker 5: time being married, would go, I don't need to be
[24:57] Speaker 5: doing this anymore.
[25:00] Speaker 2: But I pose a point, don't die?
[25:03] Speaker 3: What has he done lately?
[25:04] Speaker 4: Has he done a Wally has a new movie called
[25:06] Speaker 4: Jake Kelly. It's on Netflix. It's about an actor, a
[25:09] Speaker 4: famous actor. I'm Sandler's in it too. It sounds very good.
[25:14] Speaker 5: I personally am a fan of George Clooney, so I'm
[25:17] Speaker 5: excited to see his new movie. But I always Haley,
[25:21] Speaker 5: you know, is in this industry where we've had these
[25:24] Speaker 5: conversations about what that looks like in my comfort with it,
[25:28] Speaker 5: and really my comfort is I'm not comfortable with any either.
[25:33] Speaker 3: There'd be absolutely no way.
[25:35] Speaker 5: But we have conversations where you know, it's like knowing
[25:38] Speaker 5: how to be respectful about it and making sure that
[25:41] Speaker 5: I feel safe and what she has to do with
[25:44] Speaker 5: when it comes to work stuff.
[25:45] Speaker 2: But yeah, it's not like easy.
[25:47] Speaker 5: I think it's I think unless you're both in the
[25:49] Speaker 5: industry and you're both going to work and making out
[25:52] Speaker 5: with people for your job, I think that's the only
[25:57] Speaker 5: way you're able.
[25:58] Speaker 2: To just be okay with it.
[25:59] Speaker 3: Yeah, Because if.
[26:00] Speaker 5: You're not in the industry and you're like, I don't
[26:02] Speaker 5: understand there, don't don't go to work.
[26:05] Speaker 1: I know myself, there's absolutely no way I could handle it.
[26:09] Speaker 5: No. And the funny thing is if that was Robbie's job,
[26:11] Speaker 5: he would be able to go and do it and
[26:13] Speaker 5: like not think anything of it.
[26:14] Speaker 1: Literally he would be like so unattached, like I would
[26:17] Speaker 1: have nothing to worry about.
[26:19] Speaker 3: But I would hate it. I would absolutely hate it.
[26:23] Speaker 2: It's not for the it's not for the week.
[26:25] Speaker 3: No, no, no, But I'm strong, but I would crumble.
[26:29] Speaker 3: I would should be shivering.
[26:48] Speaker 5: Someone asked a fun question about what song that reminds
[26:51] Speaker 5: you of each other, and I thought that would be
[26:54] Speaker 5: a fun one to answer.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Do you have a song that reminds you of me? Yeah?
[26:58] Speaker 2: Oh what are me?
[26:59] Speaker 3: Yes, how'd you know?
[27:02] Speaker 2: Just had a feeling army by Ellie Goulding.
[27:04] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[27:06] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[27:08] Speaker 3: Do you have a song that reminds you about me?
[27:09] Speaker 5: I mean I think I have a bunch of songs
[27:12] Speaker 5: that I would think of, but I feel like I.
[27:13] Speaker 2: Think auld be Joweled when I think of you.
[27:15] Speaker 3: Ah yes, yeah, yeah and.
[27:17] Speaker 5: Weirdly Easton, which it's the only reason this song is
[27:21] Speaker 5: not like my least favorite song of all time because
[27:24] Speaker 5: I have the association with you.
[27:26] Speaker 2: I think of me by Taylors Me.
[27:29] Speaker 3: Yeah, because he hates so much.
[27:31] Speaker 5: Because we like did this We all danced to it
[27:34] Speaker 5: one time and the Easton went like one hundred and
[27:37] Speaker 5: fifty percent with his dancing and singing.
[27:41] Speaker 2: And I think of it now wow. Or a Hillary
[27:44] Speaker 2: Duff song that makes you feel good.
[27:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, He's like, I'm slightly fender, but I say I'm.
[27:50] Speaker 2: Saying like it's it's it.
[27:52] Speaker 5: It brings me to a higher level because I associated
[27:55] Speaker 5: with you.
[27:56] Speaker 3: Yeah that makes me happy.
[27:57] Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, there's some. I mean, I don't want to
[28:02] Speaker 4: lump on Bejeweled, but like such the tiniest song, It's fine.
[28:05] Speaker 1: I sing it every day I enter the studio. Yes,
[28:08] Speaker 1: so it's kind of like my theme song.
[28:11] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[28:12] Speaker 4: I have a very fun memory from when I first
[28:15] Speaker 4: started working with mister Seacrest and we were at the
[28:18] Speaker 4: East Studio and you're probably there telling you but Wildest
[28:21] Speaker 4: Dreams my Taylor Swift is playing and Mark was like
[28:23] Speaker 4: singing along so loudly to the bridge like the.
[28:26] Speaker 2: Hen it damn.
[28:29] Speaker 4: Every time I hear Wildest Dreams, I think of him
[28:32] Speaker 4: and I think of that. I think you were there
[28:35] Speaker 4: that David like he was like so into it. And
[28:37] Speaker 4: that's a very fun memory. So even though Mark's not
[28:39] Speaker 4: here today, I'm gonna say Wildest Streams makes me think.
[28:41] Speaker 3: Of him weirdly. Jeanie in a Bottle makes me think
[28:47] Speaker 3: of Mark.
[28:49] Speaker 2: These are not the songs I would expect.
[28:52] Speaker 1: It's because whatever we're waiting for, Like if we're waiting
[28:55] Speaker 1: for Ryan, like, well, we'll ask like our board op
[28:59] Speaker 1: John to like play certain songs. And for some reason,
[29:01] Speaker 1: I feel like he always plays Genie a Bottle, which
[29:04] Speaker 1: is requested by Mark.
[29:05] Speaker 3: I'm assuming because I don't know what else is requesting it.
[29:11] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a great song.
[29:12] Speaker 3: It's a great song. It's a great song.
[29:15] Speaker 5: I feel like I think of weirdly because he always
[29:18] Speaker 5: brings it up.
[29:19] Speaker 2: Is all too well, all too well tenute version.
[29:22] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, or the Ryne runs out. He was
[29:25] Speaker 1: so passionate about.
[29:26] Speaker 2: Not being awesome. I was with him. It was my
[29:30] Speaker 2: brunner up. I'm and s so with Lord Rob.
[29:40] Speaker 3: R O, B B E. D.
[29:43] Speaker 2: Yes. Thank you for spelling that out.
[29:46] Speaker 5: I don't. That's the end of the episode, But don't worry.
[29:50] Speaker 5: We'll be back with more, because that's what we do
[29:52] Speaker 5: and who we are.
