[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
[0:18] Speaker 1: Oh.
[0:21] Speaker 3: She was just adjusting her mic. Yeah, I was how
[0:27] Speaker 3: you doing.
[0:27] Speaker 1: I'm doing fine? How are you doing?
[0:29] Speaker 3: I'm good? Good? Fine? That was your weekend?
[0:33] Speaker 1: Weekend was really nice. We celebrated Robbie's birthday.
[0:36] Speaker 3: Yeah, the birthday.
[0:37] Speaker 1: Boy, how's your weekend?
[0:39] Speaker 3: It was good.
[0:40] Speaker 2: We I had like big intentions to not do anything
[0:44] Speaker 2: because I've been.
[0:45] Speaker 3: Socialized out, but.
[0:49] Speaker 2: Haley somehow got me to like rearrange two of the
[0:53] Speaker 2: rooms in the house and move things. And in one
[0:57] Speaker 2: of the moves, we were trying to make one of
[0:58] Speaker 2: our rooms like a gem with all the equipment.
[1:01] Speaker 3: In there and stuff. And we were moving this mirror.
[1:06] Speaker 2: And Haley's not She's very mentally tough, but physically strength
[1:11] Speaker 2: wise nimble. Not nimble, delicate, delicate flower. And so we
[1:17] Speaker 2: were trying to move this mirror and it was very
[1:19] Speaker 2: top heavy. So I had that side and we were
[1:21] Speaker 2: carrying it sideways and I was trying to lift it up,
[1:26] Speaker 2: and her side like slid down or something. I don't
[1:29] Speaker 2: really know what happened, but my instinct was to not
[1:32] Speaker 2: let it hit.
[1:32] Speaker 3: The floor because it was like really heavy, so I squeezed.
[1:36] Speaker 3: I like tried to catch it with my legs.
[1:37] Speaker 2: So I put my legs together, and so the mirror
[1:39] Speaker 2: like basically hit both of my inner thighs and then
[1:43] Speaker 2: still went through them because it was so heavy and
[1:46] Speaker 2: hit the ground. So two bad things happened. I have
[1:50] Speaker 2: the craziest bruises on both of my.
[1:54] Speaker 3: Legs right now.
[1:54] Speaker 1: Yeah, they look pretty narly.
[1:56] Speaker 2: I was like googling, like when to be concerned about ruthas. Yeah,
[2:03] Speaker 2: so I haven't slapt because any move I make is
[2:06] Speaker 2: absolute pain. We're going to the Bahamas this week, and
[2:10] Speaker 2: I look like I've been like punched and beat. I
[2:14] Speaker 2: have bruises because I played basketball or inner thighs, right,
[2:18] Speaker 2: you mean like you.
[2:19] Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, like what are you gonna do?
[2:20] Speaker 1: They're like spread eagle at the beach.
[2:22] Speaker 2: They're not full in her They're more like quad, yes,
[2:28] Speaker 2: inner quad right above the knee. And I have bruises
[2:33] Speaker 2: from basketball last week, So I look like I've been
[2:36] Speaker 2: through it.
[2:36] Speaker 3: But it's okay.
[2:38] Speaker 1: Everything's fine, Everything's fine. I have bruises too, so what
[2:42] Speaker 1: are your bruises from skiing falling like two weeks ago?
[2:46] Speaker 3: I know, I that's very discouraging for me.
[2:50] Speaker 1: Right now it's getting much better, but yeah, they last.
[2:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been like looking into should I go to
[2:56] Speaker 2: acupuncture move the blood around?
[2:58] Speaker 3: I don't know anyway, So we did that, and it's
[3:00] Speaker 3: so funny.
[3:01] Speaker 2: Because we have this honestly stunning gym room with all
[3:05] Speaker 2: this equipment in there, and we just keep going to
[3:07] Speaker 2: look at it to admire how clean it is, but
[3:09] Speaker 2: no one's gotten in there to do anything active.
[3:12] Speaker 1: I'd like to come over and use it.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we're doing ten dollars membership, so.
[3:18] Speaker 1: Ten dollars a month.
[3:19] Speaker 3: Yeah, heck yeah. And you can use the pool outside. Wow,
[3:23] Speaker 3: jacuzzi full spa. Yeah, I have a sauna blanket wow. Yeah.
[3:29] Speaker 3: Well you could rent your sauna out.
[3:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, so we could us. We had like a gym
[3:33] Speaker 1: in our garage, Like I mean when I say gym,
[3:36] Speaker 1: like we have like weights and then like those a
[3:38] Speaker 1: little bike whatever, the thing that you lay on to
[3:40] Speaker 1: do the weights, a bench, a bench, so we had
[3:45] Speaker 1: like a couple of things in there, and then like
[3:46] Speaker 1: now it's just been so we did all of our stores,
[3:49] Speaker 1: Like all of our Christmas decorations are in there. It's
[3:51] Speaker 1: just become like total storage. So the area to work
[3:54] Speaker 1: out has become very very slim in there.
[3:57] Speaker 3: But you still have the sauna. Yeah, so we could
[4:00] Speaker 3: do a trade.
[4:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll give you a trade for the ten dollar
[4:04] Speaker 2: five dollars discount.
[4:05] Speaker 3: Ye. What did y'all do for Robbie's birthday?
[4:09] Speaker 1: I actually did something really cute and uh, I basically
[4:15] Speaker 1: planned out the entire weekend for him. But I made it.
[4:18] Speaker 1: I made like two different cards, so like it was
[4:20] Speaker 1: like said Saturday morning, Saturday morning, and then it'd be
[4:23] Speaker 1: like option one, option two, and he'd have to pick
[4:25] Speaker 1: a card and then whichever one he picked, that's what
[4:27] Speaker 1: we would do.
[4:28] Speaker 3: Oh, like what were the what were they?
[4:30] Speaker 1: Well? I made them the exact same option. So I
[4:32] Speaker 1: basically planned out the whole weekend without like thinking he
[4:37] Speaker 1: thinking that he would like randomly decide what his fate
[4:40] Speaker 1: was by like whichever envelope he picked.
[4:41] Speaker 3: You know, they said the same thing.
[4:43] Speaker 1: Each one was the same, each activity was the same.
[4:45] Speaker 1: Option one, option two were the exact same thing. But
[4:47] Speaker 1: he did never know, so he would like pull one
[4:50] Speaker 1: out and he would like, oh, this is we're going,
[4:51] Speaker 1: and I would rip up the other one.
[4:53] Speaker 3: Oh so he never knew no. Wow.
[4:55] Speaker 1: He kind of kept caught on when I like booked
[4:59] Speaker 1: him a massage and he was like, how are they
[5:01] Speaker 1: not to be here at eleven am tomorrow?
[5:03] Speaker 3: And I was like, you were like, I just took
[5:08] Speaker 3: a chance. Yeah.
[5:09] Speaker 1: I was like, well there could have been at one
[5:11] Speaker 1: o'clock too, like I was just trying to throw them off.
[5:13] Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, but it.
[5:14] Speaker 1: Was really cute. He's like, you don't have to do this,
[5:16] Speaker 1: you know, you spoiled me so much, Like it was
[5:19] Speaker 1: really cute. Yeah, that's so fun. It was fun, even
[5:22] Speaker 1: the element of surprise, even though there was no surprise.
[5:26] Speaker 3: Yeah, I've done that before.
[5:28] Speaker 2: And then like we got to the dessert portion and
[5:31] Speaker 2: Hayley chose one and she was like, what's the other option?
[5:34] Speaker 1: And she liked it better. Yeah, that's why I want
[5:37] Speaker 1: to happen.
[5:37] Speaker 2: I was like, oh, yeah, when you have a massage planned,
[5:39] Speaker 2: but if you were doing like restaurants or something, yeah,
[5:41] Speaker 2: you could have made two reservations.
[5:43] Speaker 1: And then there was breakfast one morning. It was two
[5:45] Speaker 1: different spots and I was just like, whichever one. We
[5:49] Speaker 1: don't need a reservation.
[5:49] Speaker 3: You just go the eight hour weight one.
[5:51] Speaker 1: No, no, no, he's never going there again. But yeah,
[5:56] Speaker 1: it was cute.
[5:57] Speaker 2: Yesterday we went to meet one of our friends had
[6:02] Speaker 2: a baby in early January, or actually December thirty first,
[6:05] Speaker 2: so we went and met her for the first time.
[6:06] Speaker 3: Gabby, her baby.
[6:09] Speaker 2: She's perfect, Like every time she sent photos, I'm like,
[6:13] Speaker 2: I cannot wait to meet her.
[6:14] Speaker 3: So we got to go meet her.
[6:15] Speaker 2: We got to hang out with them for a little bit,
[6:17] Speaker 2: and then we went over to Haley's sisters and saw
[6:19] Speaker 2: her niece and nephew and so it was.
[6:21] Speaker 3: A day full of the children.
[6:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, we were exhausted. I was gonna say, how did
[6:27] Speaker 1: it make you feel tired?
[6:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, very tired. It makes me realize like parents really
[6:33] Speaker 2: are just the real ones, because it is it is just.
[6:37] Speaker 3: A mentally you don't even realize you're doing, like putting
[6:44] Speaker 3: effort into something. Yeah.
[6:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, And that was like we just got to be
[6:49] Speaker 2: the fun aunts who come over. You know, we're not
[6:51] Speaker 2: even really having to do the parenting.
[6:53] Speaker 1: We're in that phase of life for like every like
[6:55] Speaker 1: I got invited, I'm invited to two baby showers on
[6:58] Speaker 1: the exact same day at the exact same time.
[7:01] Speaker 2: But they're always like a range, you know, it's always
[7:04] Speaker 2: like twelve to four or something.
[7:05] Speaker 1: They're one to three and ones like in La Proper
[7:09] Speaker 1: and the other ones in Calabasas.
[7:10] Speaker 3: So how are you doing it?
[7:11] Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm not sure Robbie's invited to one.
[7:15] Speaker 1: So I think I'm gonna have him go to the
[7:17] Speaker 1: one that we're both invited to and pull down the
[7:19] Speaker 1: four and then I'll go to the other one and
[7:22] Speaker 1: leave early and then meet him.
[7:24] Speaker 3: I see, I see.
[7:24] Speaker 1: That's kind of how I know.
[7:26] Speaker 2: We're definitely in that phase of like showers and babies
[7:30] Speaker 2: and birthdays and all the things. Yeah, it's fun, It
[7:34] Speaker 2: is fun. But yeah, So we had a pretty chill weekend.
[7:37] Speaker 2: On Saturday night though we did after we clean and organize.
[7:42] Speaker 2: Marla and Taylor came over when we played games and
[7:44] Speaker 2: it was so fun and we were like, wow, you know,
[7:47] Speaker 2: you've really got to take advantage of these moments because
[7:50] Speaker 2: there we are entering this new season of life where
[7:52] Speaker 2: like you never know if someone's gonna have a baby.
[7:54] Speaker 3: Or you know, like just these moments of being able.
[7:57] Speaker 2: To garden and or her food and just lets not
[8:02] Speaker 2: have any responsibility sleep in the next day.
[8:05] Speaker 3: You know, it goes quick.
[8:07] Speaker 1: It does go quick.
[8:08] Speaker 2: So trying to just embrace those moments with our friends
[8:11] Speaker 2: of the friends who want the children.
[8:18] Speaker 1: We started sleeping without without white noise. Why because it's
[8:22] Speaker 1: like bad. It like interrupts your rem cycle. Oh my gosh,
[8:26] Speaker 1: And honestly, I think we're sleeping better.
[8:28] Speaker 3: The silence interrupts my rim cycle.
[8:31] Speaker 1: Well, we uh turn the TV. We put the TV
[8:33] Speaker 1: on a timer so we're like, okay, we're ready to
[8:35] Speaker 1: go to bed. We put the TV on for thirty
[8:37] Speaker 1: minutes so we have that to fall asleep, and then
[8:40] Speaker 1: it turns off and then we just have silence the
[8:42] Speaker 1: rest of the night. Whoa, Yeah, we have our.
[8:48] Speaker 2: What's it called our air pure fire makes noise. Oh,
[8:51] Speaker 2: but I also have a white noise machine on.
[8:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, we have like the full white noise. It's like
[8:56] Speaker 1: louder than an alarm clock.
[8:58] Speaker 3: But if people have slept with a fan all or
[9:00] Speaker 3: like air conditioning on their whole life, it's just so
[9:03] Speaker 3: row interrupting their rent sleep.
[9:05] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like by six minutes or something. It does.
[9:08] Speaker 3: I don't know where. Did you just saw that on
[9:10] Speaker 3: an Instagram? Real?
[9:11] Speaker 1: No, it was a morning hack on the morning show.
[9:14] Speaker 2: There's been morning hacks debunked all through.
[9:17] Speaker 1: Life, but I'm telling you living proof of it. I
[9:19] Speaker 1: actually think we're sleeping better, But.
[9:21] Speaker 2: You think you're sleeping better every time you try something new.
[9:26] Speaker 3: That's true.
[9:27] Speaker 1: That is true.
[9:28] Speaker 2: You think you slept you sleep better with mouth tape,
[9:31] Speaker 2: But I find.
[9:32] Speaker 1: So much better with mouth tape. No, you're not. You
[9:33] Speaker 1: didn't give it, but I checked.
[9:35] Speaker 3: Through my nose. I don't breathe in my mouth, So you.
[9:37] Speaker 1: Need to get a nose tape too. That makes your
[9:40] Speaker 1: nose bigger. It makes your nostrils bigger. Want my nose bigger,
[9:43] Speaker 1: not forever. It's temporary. It's like you put it on
[9:47] Speaker 1: and it opens up your nostrils.
[9:49] Speaker 2: Does it not stretch it into being making your nose bigger.
[9:52] Speaker 2: If you're doing that every single night, every single night,
[9:55] Speaker 2: it's his nose getting bigger.
[9:56] Speaker 3: No, I would start documenting that. How if you stretch
[10:01] Speaker 3: for eight hours. If you do something for eight.
[10:04] Speaker 1: Hours, not much. It's not like it's opening it so
[10:07] Speaker 1: much wider. It's like a little bit, A.
[10:09] Speaker 3: Little bit's too much in terms of making my nose bigger.
[10:12] Speaker 1: I don't want people would use them if it made
[10:13] Speaker 1: their nose bigger.
[10:15] Speaker 3: There's no studies on it yet that I can't.
[10:19] Speaker 1: I cannot confirm or deny.
[10:22] Speaker 3: Everything I sleep.
[10:23] Speaker 2: I breathe through my nose, so I don't feel like
[10:25] Speaker 2: I'm not getting RESTful sleep because I'm not breathing.
[10:28] Speaker 3: Right, that's my mouth is closed.
[10:31] Speaker 1: With your mouth open, wide open, So.
[10:33] Speaker 3: This is your mouth tape is the game changer changing,
[10:37] Speaker 3: But for me, I don't I have clear pathways.
[10:42] Speaker 1: Yeah, well this is it's a big change. Like sleeping
[10:46] Speaker 1: in silence is like so crazy. I hear Sunny in
[10:50] Speaker 1: her crate every like if she gets up to shake
[10:52] Speaker 1: a little bit, and then.
[10:54] Speaker 3: That doesn't interrupt your room cycle.
[10:57] Speaker 1: It's hard to say. It's a give and take.
[11:00] Speaker 3: That feels like a morning hack.
[11:03] Speaker 1: No, we're liking it. We're liking it. We're liking it.
[11:07] Speaker 2: They're telling me that sleeping through the night with white
[11:10] Speaker 2: noise it's more disruptive than hearing Yeah, Sony's shaking her.
[11:14] Speaker 1: Because I don't hear her every time. I'm saying, there's
[11:16] Speaker 1: the occasional night where I will hear her or i'll
[11:18] Speaker 1: hear him, like go to the bathroom. But like i'd say,
[11:20] Speaker 1: nine times out of ten, I'm sleeping through the whole,
[11:24] Speaker 1: like I'm getting remp from start to finish.
[11:28] Speaker 3: When did you start this?
[11:29] Speaker 1: Probably last what's today? Monday? Probably Tuesday? Last week? Okay,
[11:35] Speaker 1: Tuesday or Wednesday.
[11:36] Speaker 3: Let's check in and three weeks check in on me, baby,
[11:42] Speaker 3: doing a check in, check in on me.
[11:45] Speaker 2: Something really devastating happened last week and we lost Eric
[11:49] Speaker 2: Dane to his battle with als and I I just
[11:54] Speaker 2: can't It happened so fast and it was probably not
[11:59] Speaker 2: fast for him. And I keep thinking about that because
[12:01] Speaker 2: people keep saying it happened so fast because he I
[12:03] Speaker 2: guess announced his diagnosis less it was like less than
[12:06] Speaker 2: a year ago.
[12:08] Speaker 3: And I keep thinking about how like.
[12:13] Speaker 2: We watched this person who is this like strong, like
[12:19] Speaker 2: like character on Grey's Anatomy and then you know he
[12:22] Speaker 2: was just this like almost like a Greek god, you know,
[12:26] Speaker 2: and watching him go through that, it was just devastating.
[12:29] Speaker 2: And I just watching all the Gray's Anatomy, seeing all.
[12:32] Speaker 1: The posts, the memes. It's so crazy when you think about,
[12:36] Speaker 1: like even with Catherine O'Hara, like they have these such
[12:42] Speaker 1: iconic roles that like they will live forever in these roles,
[12:47] Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, it's so crazy to
[12:50] Speaker 1: think about, but.
[12:50] Speaker 2: It's also it is crazy to think about, but it's
[12:53] Speaker 2: also such a gift. I was thinking about that for
[12:55] Speaker 2: like his his loved ones and his friends, that.
[12:58] Speaker 1: They if they miss him, they can like go see.
[13:00] Speaker 3: Him and be this. Especially Mark Sloan.
[13:04] Speaker 2: I know he was in euphoria, but I don't think
[13:06] Speaker 2: his character was like a good guy. So but I
[13:08] Speaker 2: was thinking about, like Gray's Anatomy, Mark Sloan had this
[13:12] Speaker 2: like character arc and he came in and everyone was
[13:14] Speaker 2: like who is this and by the end you loved
[13:16] Speaker 2: him and it's so special. It's also with Catherine O'Hara,
[13:20] Speaker 2: these iconic roles and getting to like go back and
[13:23] Speaker 2: watch him.
[13:24] Speaker 3: Be so alive. Yeah, is really really cool gift. But
[13:28] Speaker 3: rest in peace, Eric Dane.
[13:30] Speaker 1: We had that one hit. Between that and Punch the
[13:33] Speaker 1: Monkey this weekend, I found myself being just like very emotional.
[13:39] Speaker 1: I also think I might be getting my period soon,
[13:41] Speaker 1: but I was very emotional all weekend.
[13:44] Speaker 2: Punch the Monkey hit me so hard. I was watching
[13:49] Speaker 2: the video and then I was telling Haley about it,
[13:51] Speaker 2: and she didn't know anything about it. So I was
[13:53] Speaker 2: showing her videos, and then she kept saying, I just
[13:56] Speaker 2: feel so sorry for him because he knows he's like
[13:59] Speaker 2: an out.
[14:00] Speaker 3: She kept making like a comment like that.
[14:02] Speaker 2: And it made me cry, and I did it three
[14:04] Speaker 2: nights in a row, and she kept reaffirming and he
[14:08] Speaker 2: knows that he's being rejected, and I was like stop, can't.
[14:13] Speaker 1: I could not stop watching these videos. And I'm telling you,
[14:16] Speaker 1: I've probably seen the same videos five hundred times. And yet,
[14:20] Speaker 1: like when I watch him cuddle, like the close up
[14:23] Speaker 1: videos of him cuddling, the stuff he send me down
[14:27] Speaker 1: such like a spiral.
[14:29] Speaker 2: I guess he's found a monkey that loves Simon is
[14:31] Speaker 2: protecting him. Yeah, And all the comments are like yeah,
[14:34] Speaker 2: only because he's famous now, and I'm like, yeah, there,
[14:40] Speaker 2: they were really smart animals.
[14:42] Speaker 3: I do wonder if they.
[14:43] Speaker 1: Can sit there way that he knows he's like globally
[14:47] Speaker 1: getting glable.
[14:48] Speaker 3: Someone said they were giving Cynthia and Ariana the new
[14:52] Speaker 3: Monkey's like overly protective and like guarding everything. But I'm
[14:57] Speaker 3: just I need it.
[14:58] Speaker 2: I hope he's a good friend or she's a good
[15:00] Speaker 2: friend to punch because he needs that.
[15:03] Speaker 3: He does. It's been hard to start for him. The
[15:05] Speaker 3: video of.
[15:06] Speaker 1: Him grabbing the arm of this stuff to cut on
[15:08] Speaker 1: him literally makes me cry every time I see it.
[15:12] Speaker 1: Like I'm like, I don't know what emotional state I'm
[15:15] Speaker 1: in right now. We're watching these videos over and over
[15:18] Speaker 1: and over again, like they bring me such sadness, but
[15:21] Speaker 1: they bring me such comfort at the same time, Like
[15:24] Speaker 1: what does that say about me?
[15:25] Speaker 2: I don't know because I can only watch so much
[15:27] Speaker 2: before I have to, like let my brain.
[15:29] Speaker 1: Rest from the sad day On Saturday, I didn't stop.
[15:34] Speaker 1: My entire feed was punch the monkey.
[15:37] Speaker 3: It's devastating. I'm also seeing what I think is AI
[15:41] Speaker 3: stuff now, so now I can't really tell if the
[15:43] Speaker 3: difference once AI or what's real. But it's all really sad.
[15:48] Speaker 1: Rob and I were like, how do we get in
[15:50] Speaker 1: his own like cage to be in where he like
[15:53] Speaker 1: has his own freedom in his own space, which is
[15:55] Speaker 1: like him and his stuffy But.
[15:57] Speaker 3: I guess that interrupts him learning to be like you.
[16:00] Speaker 1: Some people just don't learn how to acclimate.
[16:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how it works with I know
[16:06] Speaker 2: that's with people, but we're talking animals, so I think
[16:09] Speaker 2: that they they need him to be able to socialize
[16:12] Speaker 2: and be around other monkeys. But did you see the
[16:17] Speaker 2: zoo keeper that comes in and he's crown?
[16:21] Speaker 1: I can't.
[16:22] Speaker 3: Oh, it's so sad.
[16:24] Speaker 1: It just relates to people more, I think, and I
[16:28] Speaker 1: understand as an outsider.
[16:30] Speaker 2: Oh my god, how are you an outsider? How do
[16:34] Speaker 2: you consider yourself an outsider?
[16:36] Speaker 1: I don't know. I do to beat my own drum. Yeah,
[16:38] Speaker 1: you do do that like punch?
[16:42] Speaker 3: Did you watch Traders? We'll get to that later.
[16:47] Speaker 2: I did start Love is Blind, but I'm at the
[16:49] Speaker 2: part now where everyone's still decent.
[16:55] Speaker 3: It downhill? No, I'm in. I'm in Mexico, okay.
[16:58] Speaker 2: I think the last the last like Mexico episode does okay,
[17:02] Speaker 2: but I know things go dark.
[17:04] Speaker 1: I'm not there yet either. I just got back. I
[17:06] Speaker 1: just got into like the real world.
[17:08] Speaker 3: What do you think about everyone?
[17:12] Speaker 1: I have lots of thoughts. I don't know a lot
[17:14] Speaker 1: of them by name. I know me neither, So it's
[17:17] Speaker 1: gonna be it's gonna be tough to recap. But I
[17:19] Speaker 1: also need to understand why there is one couple that
[17:23] Speaker 1: went to Malibu and all the other couples went to Mexico.
[17:26] Speaker 2: So I was thinking maybe I had to do something
[17:28] Speaker 2: with getting a passport or something like maybe they didn't
[17:30] Speaker 2: have a passport.
[17:31] Speaker 1: So I chatchiputeed it okay, and it said that, uh,
[17:35] Speaker 1: it was not a passport issue, because I had the
[17:37] Speaker 1: same thought. Oh, that production only had budget to send
[17:40] Speaker 1: six couples to Mexico and there were seven that got
[17:43] Speaker 1: engaged this season, and I'm like, why does it seem right?
[17:47] Speaker 4: I do feel like the couple that went to Malibu though,
[17:50] Speaker 4: they're more serious, and I feel like maybe they were
[17:52] Speaker 4: just like, let's not put them in the drama of everything,
[17:54] Speaker 4: because they have an actual chance of staying together, so
[17:58] Speaker 4: let's give them their own little getaway.
[18:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of felt that way.
[18:02] Speaker 1: It was weird, and also like that they didn't address it.
[18:04] Speaker 1: I'm like, hello, Nick Vanessa, can someone explain to me
[18:06] Speaker 1: why this couple is in Malibu and everybody else is
[18:09] Speaker 1: in Mexico.
[18:09] Speaker 3: I liked my theory more about the passport.
[18:11] Speaker 2: I feel weird that it's a budget they have, Like
[18:13] Speaker 2: every they have all these songs that they're paying for
[18:16] Speaker 2: on the show.
[18:16] Speaker 3: They don't budget.
[18:17] Speaker 1: Know if anybody out there works for Love is Blind,
[18:19] Speaker 1: please let us know, because it was really bothering me.
[18:24] Speaker 2: Okay, I wanted to talk about an update from the
[18:26] Speaker 2: Valentine's Day post of last week. We have an update,
[18:30] Speaker 2: but we're going to take a break and we'll talk
[18:32] Speaker 2: about that.
[18:49] Speaker 3: We're back.
[18:50] Speaker 5: Oh, thanks, So So, we had a little discussion last
[18:56] Speaker 5: week about one of our scrubbers who had posted in
[19:01] Speaker 5: the Facebook group that she didn't get anything from her
[19:03] Speaker 5: significant other.
[19:04] Speaker 2: Of two years, didn't get flowered, basically didn't get acknowledged
[19:09] Speaker 2: with any gifts or anything on Valentine's Day. So Tanya
[19:12] Speaker 2: and I had opposite takes and stances on it, but
[19:16] Speaker 2: we got an update from the scrubber herself, Mark, do
[19:22] Speaker 2: you do?
[19:23] Speaker 3: Are you caught up on this drama?
[19:24] Speaker 6: So what was the take?
[19:26] Speaker 1: So basically the bottom line, like net net net, she
[19:32] Speaker 1: did not get anything on Valentine's Day. She got him
[19:35] Speaker 1: a basket she made him, or they made dinner together,
[19:38] Speaker 1: but the ingredients. He didn't give her a card, he
[19:41] Speaker 1: didn't give her flowers or really acknowledged the day.
[19:43] Speaker 6: What were the angles you Becca and Easton had.
[19:46] Speaker 1: Back in Easton were aligned. They said, it's absolutely bare
[19:50] Speaker 1: minimum to ask for, just like a Carter acknowledgment on
[19:52] Speaker 1: Valentine's Day. I said, you need to communicate your needs
[19:56] Speaker 1: to your partner and if he's showing up for you
[19:58] Speaker 1: in your regular, every day life. Guys are dumb and
[20:02] Speaker 1: sometimes Valentine's Day goes over their head and maybe he's
[20:05] Speaker 1: very embarrassed that he didn't do anything on Valentine's Day.
[20:08] Speaker 2: The bare minimum is showing up for your partner every
[20:11] Speaker 2: other day of the year.
[20:12] Speaker 3: So that's what I argument. I was like, Oh, wait,
[20:14] Speaker 3: so you don't get.
[20:15] Speaker 2: A card because someone shows up for you every other
[20:18] Speaker 2: day of the year.
[20:18] Speaker 1: Yes, I didn't know they were together for two years, so.
[20:20] Speaker 3: That dicer, did I think?
[20:21] Speaker 1: I think that you said I didn't know in the beginning,
[20:24] Speaker 1: and so that threw me a little bit because after
[20:28] Speaker 1: one mistake of one Valentine's Day, you would think he
[20:32] Speaker 1: would pick up on that.
[20:34] Speaker 2: And a lot of the scrubbers advice on the Facebook
[20:36] Speaker 2: posts were like, you need to communicate because you're just
[20:38] Speaker 2: setting him up for failure if you don't communicate, And I'm.
[20:40] Speaker 3: Like, I get that.
[20:41] Speaker 2: If she had expectations of wanting to go to a
[20:44] Speaker 2: specific restaurant or I want to be woken up with
[20:47] Speaker 2: breakfast in bed, that's something you have to communicate. Communicating
[20:51] Speaker 2: that you need acknowledgment on a holiday that's so in
[20:54] Speaker 2: our face that there's no way it can.
[20:56] Speaker 3: Go over your head.
[20:56] Speaker 1: Because now I know, like guys are dumb.
[20:59] Speaker 3: We got it. We got to set the bar higher.
[21:01] Speaker 3: I'm just telling you we have to.
[21:03] Speaker 6: I think bare minimum when he's doing If you can't
[21:05] Speaker 6: do the bare minimum for Valentine's Day when you're dating,
[21:08] Speaker 6: what's gonna happen for your birthdays, your anniversaries? Like I
[21:11] Speaker 6: feel like it's I think it's a problem. I think
[21:13] Speaker 6: it's a concern. I'll say that it's a concern, not unfixable.
[21:17] Speaker 1: I was just trying to have our girls back.
[21:20] Speaker 3: I have a lot of heat, and I think you're
[21:22] Speaker 3: having the guys back. I don't think you're having the girls. No.
[21:25] Speaker 1: I wanted her to not feel so bad. I feel
[21:27] Speaker 1: like she felt so bad, and I just wanted her
[21:29] Speaker 1: to know, like, don't feel so bad. This isn't the
[21:32] Speaker 1: end all be all, Like there's hope. I wanted to
[21:35] Speaker 1: give her some hope.
[21:36] Speaker 2: Well, my thought process was like, Okay, this is a
[21:38] Speaker 2: conversation they need to have, and she now she can communicate, like, hey,
[21:43] Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever communicated, but I'd.
[21:45] Speaker 3: Like to be acknowledged. I didn't know I needed to
[21:47] Speaker 3: communicate this, but I'd like to be acknowledgable on holidays.
[21:50] Speaker 1: So where do we stand?
[21:53] Speaker 3: So the follow up is that.
[21:58] Speaker 2: She says, the first year we were together, we didn't
[22:01] Speaker 2: do anything, and last year I was the one who
[22:04] Speaker 2: made the dinner reservations at the restaurant. He shows up
[22:07] Speaker 2: for me in so many other ways, so I was
[22:09] Speaker 2: very confused about this holiday. My birthday was two weeks ago,
[22:12] Speaker 2: and he got me flowers the Monday of my birthday
[22:15] Speaker 2: week to kick off the week, and took me to
[22:16] Speaker 2: dinner and got me a gift, which for me, it's
[22:18] Speaker 2: totally not about the money part of it. I just
[22:21] Speaker 2: wanted to be thought about, especially when it feels like
[22:23] Speaker 2: everyone else in the world, even the ones with crappy
[22:25] Speaker 2: boyfriends and husbands, are being spoiled.
[22:27] Speaker 3: That's the thing. Some of the worst of the worst
[22:30] Speaker 3: will still show.
[22:30] Speaker 1: But this is It's an interesting point because she's seeing
[22:33] Speaker 1: everything on Instagram and that again comparison is a thief
[22:36] Speaker 1: of joy antenue one.
[22:37] Speaker 2: He spoils me at Christmas, but he did not grow
[22:39] Speaker 2: up coming from a lot holidays and birthdays weren't a
[22:42] Speaker 2: big deal at all in his childhood home, but since
[22:44] Speaker 2: spending Christmas and Birthdays with my family, he's seen how
[22:47] Speaker 2: important those are for me. We did have a conversation
[22:49] Speaker 2: about it after I posted, because I felt empowered, and
[22:52] Speaker 2: he said it didn't cross his mind and that he
[22:54] Speaker 2: will do better next year.
[22:55] Speaker 3: See, don't get me wrong, that's.
[22:58] Speaker 1: A what See okay, it's okay, come on.
[23:01] Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong.
[23:02] Speaker 2: He was with me all weekend, verbally told me Happy
[23:05] Speaker 2: Valentine's Day and cooked dinner with me. But I was
[23:07] Speaker 2: expecting more, Although I communicated, expectations lead to disappointment, which
[23:12] Speaker 2: is what happened. So I'm hopeful that next year we'll
[23:15] Speaker 2: be on the same page. Thank you for she said,
[23:17] Speaker 2: thank you for reaching out to me. I'm literally freaking out.
[23:19] Speaker 2: My sister and I are obsessed with the podcast. It's
[23:21] Speaker 2: gotten us through a lot of hard stuff the past
[23:22] Speaker 2: few years. We love you guys, and then she said
[23:25] Speaker 2: more info after listening she listened.
[23:26] Speaker 3: To the episode, She said, I feel validated by Becca.
[23:30] Speaker 3: The bar shouldn't be on the ground.
[23:32] Speaker 2: It's our third Valentine's Day together, second officially dating. I
[23:36] Speaker 2: don't think he felt bad or embarrassed when he got
[23:38] Speaker 2: his gift.
[23:39] Speaker 3: He was definitely appreciative, but wasn't outwardly embarrassed. He hasn't
[23:43] Speaker 3: made up for it yet.
[23:48] Speaker 1: My bad. I'll stand on it. I don't even know
[23:54] Speaker 1: what this means charge it.
[23:58] Speaker 3: So yeah, it's a good it's a good update.
[24:00] Speaker 2: I'm glad she felt empowered, regardless of like where she
[24:03] Speaker 2: felt empowered from. I'm glad that she said something because
[24:06] Speaker 2: at this point now she can see like he knows
[24:09] Speaker 2: let's see how he doesn't. He can't say, oh, I
[24:11] Speaker 2: didn't know that anymore.
[24:14] Speaker 1: I just think express like what do they say? Uh,
[24:18] Speaker 1: disappointment comes from unexpressed expectations, expectations. So it's like I
[24:24] Speaker 1: did this a lot in our early days with Robbie,
[24:27] Speaker 1: Like I would just like have these high I mean,
[24:29] Speaker 1: my expectations were, you know, insanely high, and I would
[24:33] Speaker 1: never communicate them to him, and he's like, babe, I
[24:36] Speaker 1: can't read your mind, Like I have no idea. It
[24:38] Speaker 1: wasn't Valentine's Day, but it was other things, and I
[24:41] Speaker 1: was like, you know what, You're right, So now I'm
[24:43] Speaker 1: just super proactive about communicating my expectations.
[24:47] Speaker 2: Right, and like I said, I think when you have
[24:50] Speaker 2: very specific expectations as you did, those are things you
[24:53] Speaker 2: have to communicate because you don't have to read someone's mind.
[24:55] Speaker 2: But you don't have to read someone's mind to want
[24:57] Speaker 2: to be.
[24:57] Speaker 1: And I'd be like, what do you mean, I don't
[24:59] Speaker 1: expect this. I write you a note every single day
[25:02] Speaker 1: of my life, Like you know what I mean? Like,
[25:05] Speaker 1: get on my level.
[25:07] Speaker 3: He thinks that you just want to do that, right,
[25:09] Speaker 3: which I do, Which I do.
[25:10] Speaker 1: But I'm like, you know, this is the level at
[25:12] Speaker 1: which I operate.
[25:14] Speaker 3: Well, it's a high level. It's a high level.
[25:17] Speaker 1: Meet me there, disappear.
[25:18] Speaker 3: Did you watch the Winter Olympics? Have you been keeping
[25:21] Speaker 3: up at all?
[25:23] Speaker 1: So we have okay, no, a little bit of a
[25:26] Speaker 1: trade off if it's unseen bits for Love Island. I'll
[25:29] Speaker 1: let him watch the Olympics. Wow. And on his birthday
[25:34] Speaker 1: I let him Wow.
[25:35] Speaker 3: She is generous, folks.
[25:38] Speaker 1: I'm nothing if not generous.
[25:39] Speaker 2: Well, we haven't been watching a lot of things, but
[25:41] Speaker 2: we watched the ice skating, which was really exciting.
[25:45] Speaker 3: You know who won, Alyssa lou Yes, yeah, she's so.
[25:48] Speaker 3: I watched.
[25:48] Speaker 1: I did like the ice skating. I love so I
[25:51] Speaker 1: think it's leu.
[25:52] Speaker 3: Oh really yeah, oh ALYSSI leu. Wow. Has everyone been
[25:57] Speaker 3: saying it wrong or am I just hearing it wrong?
[25:59] Speaker 6: I have audio of her saying it herself.
[26:01] Speaker 3: So she's so cute.
[26:04] Speaker 2: And I love her mentality because when I first watched her,
[26:09] Speaker 2: the Tara Lepinske and Johnny Ware were talking about how
[26:12] Speaker 2: she just like has no expectation talk about expectations.
[26:17] Speaker 3: She just was like there to skate. She just loves skating.
[26:21] Speaker 1: What I have a side note, do not let me
[26:23] Speaker 1: forget Tara Lepinskey. I continue.
[26:25] Speaker 2: So we watching her, I was like, she looks I
[26:30] Speaker 2: felt like I was watching everyone skate and you could
[26:32] Speaker 2: see the stress on their face or like they were
[26:35] Speaker 2: thinking about if they were going to hit their next
[26:37] Speaker 2: jump whatever. Her face was so relaxed and just seemed
[26:40] Speaker 2: like she was having the best time. And I also
[26:42] Speaker 2: love that she was kind of like I'm not gonna
[26:44] Speaker 2: starve myself to be a specific body, Like I'm just
[26:48] Speaker 2: I'm just doing what I love and I'm not going
[26:49] Speaker 2: to like change myself to fit into this mold.
[26:52] Speaker 1: And she won, and she won, and I feel like
[26:54] Speaker 1: it's such.
[26:54] Speaker 2: A testament of like something that women specifically need because
[26:59] Speaker 2: there's this like box, especially in Olympic sports. I feel
[27:02] Speaker 2: like you're supposed to fit into this mold and look
[27:04] Speaker 2: a certain way and act a certain way. And she
[27:06] Speaker 2: was just like, I'm just doing something I love and
[27:09] Speaker 2: if I win, amazing.
[27:10] Speaker 3: If I don't win, amazing.
[27:12] Speaker 1: That reminds me of Shoot. Her name is escaping me now,
[27:17] Speaker 1: the woman that won the gold in Shoot, old Mom.
[27:22] Speaker 1: I texted her to.
[27:23] Speaker 3: Myself, Elena Myers.
[27:25] Speaker 1: Yes, Becca, Yes, what did she win the golden?
[27:30] Speaker 3: She won in the bob sledding?
[27:33] Speaker 1: Thank you? So after she won, she thanked like her
[27:38] Speaker 1: family opposition, she thinks her kids and her husband, and
[27:40] Speaker 1: then she thanked her nannies. And I was like, it's
[27:44] Speaker 1: so interesting to me that women feel like they need to,
[27:47] Speaker 1: like they they want to thank the people that are
[27:51] Speaker 1: helping them take care of their kids that they can
[27:53] Speaker 1: spend the time training and doing all these things. Like
[27:56] Speaker 1: there are many men.
[27:58] Speaker 3: That also have nana also nannies that.
[28:00] Speaker 1: Have never once ever, ever ever thanked them in any
[28:04] Speaker 1: sort of capacity. And like you were saying, Halsey did
[28:07] Speaker 1: the same thing during like one of her shows, thanked
[28:09] Speaker 1: her sider, her nanny and it just like really it
[28:13] Speaker 1: like it was an interesting thing because Robbie actually picked
[28:17] Speaker 1: up on it. He was like, wow, like thanking her
[28:20] Speaker 1: nannies because she wouldn't be able to be as good
[28:22] Speaker 1: and do this without having help. And the fact that
[28:24] Speaker 1: she like acknowledges that, you know. Yeah, like it's such
[28:27] Speaker 1: a thing like women take it upon even though it's
[28:30] Speaker 1: she has a husband and shared responsibility, but women take
[28:33] Speaker 1: it on themselves, you know what I mean.
[28:35] Speaker 3: M hm. She's also the oldest Winter Olympian to wing
[28:38] Speaker 3: gold in an individual event at forty one years old.
[28:41] Speaker 1: Breaking the mold.
[28:42] Speaker 3: Breaking the mold.
[28:43] Speaker 1: That's what we did. We love to see it. Actually
[28:47] Speaker 1: we were doing We were watching ice skating one night
[28:49] Speaker 1: and Robbie was like, I think we could do this.
[28:51] Speaker 1: I was like, because you have really strong legs. It's like, think.
[29:00] Speaker 3: You can do this? Please?
[29:02] Speaker 1: I was like, you're joking.
[29:04] Speaker 3: I need y'all to go to an ice rin.
[29:06] Speaker 1: We've ice skated before. We're pretty good.
[29:09] Speaker 3: But you know, Hailey's mom is an ice skating choreographer.
[29:13] Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe she could.
[29:15] Speaker 3: We did just do like a YouTube video of y'all
[29:17] Speaker 3: learning a pair skating routine.
[29:19] Speaker 1: I was like, you're crazy if you think there's And
[29:21] Speaker 1: I'm like, also the way that they just toss these
[29:25] Speaker 1: blades in the air, I'm like you I could kick
[29:28] Speaker 1: an eye out with those things. Like very dangerous yeah yeah,
[29:32] Speaker 1: not just like throwing me around.
[29:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a dangerous weaponry. Yeah, I did ask. I
[29:39] Speaker 3: was asking Haley's mom.
[29:41] Speaker 2: I was like, you know when the pair skaters, when
[29:45] Speaker 2: the woman will stand on the man's legs with her blades.
[29:48] Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, how they must have padding.
[29:51] Speaker 3: They don't. She said, it's just where. It's the specific
[29:53] Speaker 3: location where they.
[29:55] Speaker 1: Freeze, if when they hold their blades, like when they're
[29:57] Speaker 1: like doing those fans and I'm like, are they wearing glove?
[30:00] Speaker 1: I was like, what are they not getting slit their hands?
[30:02] Speaker 1: Like this is crazy?
[30:04] Speaker 3: Safe to say, Tania and I will not be entering
[30:07] Speaker 3: the Winter Olympics anytime soon.
[30:09] Speaker 1: Well, okay, so because of Traders, I have like Terre
[30:13] Speaker 1: Lipinski and is it Johnny where wire we're we're We're
[30:17] Speaker 1: I see their videos all the time, and so I
[30:20] Speaker 1: was like clicking around just like see their profiles because
[30:23] Speaker 1: I watched Traders and guess who follows me on Instagram? Tara, Tara,
[30:31] Speaker 1: that's an Olympian. An Olympic gold medal skater follows me
[30:37] Speaker 1: on Instagram, Like what, I.
[30:40] Speaker 3: Wonder if you could see when she followed you.
[30:43] Speaker 1: I don't know, but I saw it said follow back,
[30:45] Speaker 1: and then I was like, oh my gosh. Like I
[30:47] Speaker 1: was with Sebby and we were both freaking out because
[30:50] Speaker 1: we watched Traders. I was like, oh my.
[30:52] Speaker 3: Gosh, he follow her back, not like her Olympian like run,
[30:56] Speaker 3: but like we watched Traders.
[30:58] Speaker 1: He was like, follow her back. I was like, okay, back,
[31:01] Speaker 1: So now I'm following her too.
[31:02] Speaker 3: Oh wow, Okay.
[31:02] Speaker 1: So now the podcaternet friendship with Tara Lepinsky.
[31:06] Speaker 3: She'd be a great podcast.
[31:07] Speaker 1: She'd be a great podcast guest. Now that we're internet friends.
[31:11] Speaker 2: We got so into the skating that we were going
[31:14] Speaker 2: back and watching Tara Lepinski's Olympian performances.
[31:18] Speaker 3: She was like sixteen, she was fifteen. She was so tiny.
[31:24] Speaker 3: It was crazy watching.
[31:26] Speaker 1: Really excellent skater, really horrible at.
[31:29] Speaker 3: Traders, but still in the game.
[31:32] Speaker 1: Yet because I think she's so bad, They're like, you
[31:37] Speaker 1: got to keep them in the game to like you
[31:39] Speaker 1: know what I mean, people who don't know what's going on.
[31:41] Speaker 3: It's good. What did you think about Trader? Where are
[31:44] Speaker 3: you at?
[31:44] Speaker 2: I think they're on to Rob. I think Rob might go.
[31:47] Speaker 2: I think that I think the Faithfuls might win.
[31:49] Speaker 1: So I read this theory because I was just like,
[31:53] Speaker 1: Maura Higgins is so obsessed with Rob, Like the fact
[31:56] Speaker 1: that she doesn't even sniff him out at all is
[31:58] Speaker 1: like so crazy mm hmm. But then I read this
[32:01] Speaker 1: theory that says Maura knows Rob is a trader, she's
[32:05] Speaker 1: keeping him close so that they can get to the end,
[32:09] Speaker 1: and then she's gonna like banish him, yeah, and win
[32:13] Speaker 1: the whole thing. I hope so, and she's been so
[32:18] Speaker 1: digmatized it's crazy. Yeah, that's gonna be I'm gonna be
[32:22] Speaker 1: really sad.
[32:23] Speaker 3: Like when they when they finally started going, But why
[32:27] Speaker 3: did Candace say his name? I'm like, fine, somebody that
[32:31] Speaker 3: was Tara. Yeah, She's like, why would Candace have said
[32:36] Speaker 3: his name twice? I'm like, okay, let's keep it going.
[32:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a fun season though.
[32:44] Speaker 1: It's been a very fun season.
[32:46] Speaker 2: And I felt bad for Natalie because they totally just
[32:50] Speaker 2: like screwed her.
[32:52] Speaker 1: I feel sad for Natalie when she said, like, I'm
[32:55] Speaker 1: usually like an outcast and I don't get a look.
[32:57] Speaker 1: She said something about like how she doesn't really get
[32:59] Speaker 1: along with people or something and that she really like
[33:02] Speaker 1: let her guard down to like open up to them
[33:04] Speaker 1: and then she got screwed. I would like got really emotional.
[33:06] Speaker 3: I know.
[33:07] Speaker 2: That's the thing about this show is that it is
[33:09] Speaker 2: a game, and it's like you're you don't you're. The
[33:11] Speaker 2: whole point is you're not supposed to trust anybody or
[33:13] Speaker 2: let your guard.
[33:14] Speaker 1: I'm trusting everybody, know, like they trust way too much.
[33:18] Speaker 2: If you ever get to go on there, you have
[33:20] Speaker 2: to remember you cannot let your guard down.
[33:23] Speaker 1: No, Like this whole housewives don't turn on each other
[33:25] Speaker 1: thing is the dumbest rule because of like why would
[33:29] Speaker 1: you just trust a housewife because she's a housewife.
[33:31] Speaker 6: I know, what are your thoughts on the possibility of
[33:34] Speaker 6: Rob r being the next Bachelor?
[33:36] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I would love it. The girls would
[33:39] Speaker 3: be so.
[33:41] Speaker 1: It'd be bad.
[33:42] Speaker 3: It'd be very it would be like carnage.
[33:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be very bad.
[33:46] Speaker 2: It would be the best season maybe of all time,
[33:49] Speaker 2: but like devastating because the girls would just be traumatized.
[33:56] Speaker 3: Him just not ending up with someone just being like
[33:58] Speaker 3: I don't like any of y'all. I like snakes. Yeah,
[34:04] Speaker 3: he I think he has a girlfriend though he.
[34:06] Speaker 1: Does wah, but I don't think that's his girlfriend.
[34:10] Speaker 2: He's hanging out with someone. I'm sure if the Bachelor
[34:12] Speaker 2: opportunity came, he would take it.
[34:14] Speaker 1: That would be an If the Bachelor knew what was right,
[34:18] Speaker 1: they would go after him.
[34:19] Speaker 6: I mean, these rumors are out there, they come from somewhere, right.
[34:22] Speaker 1: That would be an amazing that one.
[34:24] Speaker 6: Robert Win is the other one. I hear a lot.
[34:27] Speaker 3: That could be good in its own way.
[34:29] Speaker 1: More sweet, innocent, delicate, delicate, Yeah, not as ruthless.
[34:33] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. If I'm wanting like trashy reality TV, get
[34:37] Speaker 3: me Rob. If I'm wanting a good love story, get
[34:40] Speaker 3: me Robert.
[34:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, oh Robert or Rob.
[34:45] Speaker 3: Unless Robert one hiding something.
[34:49] Speaker 1: Hillary Duff Oh yeah sorry, I was just like, still
[34:53] Speaker 1: on the whole Traders please.
[34:55] Speaker 2: So do you think let's just predict because the finales
[34:58] Speaker 2: this week?
[34:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, faithful traders. I think the I think it's gonna
[35:08] Speaker 1: be the Traders. If not Mark, if not Robin, Eric,
[35:13] Speaker 1: it'll be Rob. It's his game to lose. In my opinion,
[35:16] Speaker 1: I think it's faith really yeah, because I specifically.
[35:21] Speaker 3: How does that work? So like how many people go
[35:24] Speaker 3: home before someone went and.
[35:25] Speaker 1: So it's basically now, whoever gets banished, they're not gonna
[35:29] Speaker 1: say if they're a trader or faithful, So that is
[35:32] Speaker 1: like done, that part of the game is over. So
[35:35] Speaker 1: now basically what's gonna happen is they're gonna what we
[35:39] Speaker 1: saw the previews. They're gonna kill one more person tonight,
[35:43] Speaker 1: remember the person that goes into the thing. And then
[35:46] Speaker 1: basically how it works when I think there's like five
[35:49] Speaker 1: left is they kind of go round and they throw
[35:53] Speaker 1: the red and the green things into the flame. Red
[35:56] Speaker 1: means you're done banishing. Green means you want to banish again.
[35:59] Speaker 1: And I think they the throw until everybody throws red.
[36:02] Speaker 1: So there's usually two people left.
[36:04] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's between two people that could be a
[36:08] Speaker 3: faithful or trader.
[36:09] Speaker 1: It could be a faith or it could be two faithfuls,
[36:11] Speaker 1: it could be two traders. I don't think I've ever
[36:13] Speaker 1: seen two traders, but I don't think i've seen more
[36:16] Speaker 1: than three people win it.
[36:17] Speaker 3: I think.
[36:20] Speaker 2: That Maura might be the one who gets killed because
[36:27] Speaker 2: I think Rob would do it to make them think
[36:30] Speaker 2: like we'll we'll Mara was Rob's like ally if.
[36:34] Speaker 1: It was, so, it's an interesting thought. However, I think
[36:39] Speaker 1: they have to break up Tara and Johnny because that's
[36:41] Speaker 1: two votes. They're going to vote the same no matter what.
[36:43] Speaker 1: You're kind of outnumbered unless you kill one of them.
[36:46] Speaker 1: So one of them has got to go.
[36:47] Speaker 3: I think Tara no. I think Johnny might go.
[36:49] Speaker 1: I think Johnny's gonna go. Okay, love you, Tara Lipinski,
[36:53] Speaker 1: my new friend, but she's just so off that like,
[36:56] Speaker 1: we need, we need, we need the chaos.
[36:58] Speaker 2: Okay, So Johnny goes okay, and then I think Tara
[37:02] Speaker 2: and Maura might win.
[37:04] Speaker 3: You think I'd like it.
[37:06] Speaker 1: I like to see it, you'd like to see it.
[37:08] Speaker 2: I'd like to think that Mara is known this whole
[37:10] Speaker 2: time and is just keeping our enemies close, Sir.
[37:12] Speaker 1: That would be epic. If Moran did that, I'd be
[37:15] Speaker 1: very happy. However, I think it's Rob's game to lose. Okay,
[37:19] Speaker 1: all right, It's very hard to win as a trader.
[37:21] Speaker 1: There's only been like a couple sore and then the
[37:25] Speaker 1: one guy from the UK and yeah, yeah, so it's
[37:29] Speaker 1: really hard to win as a trader because once you
[37:31] Speaker 1: get a little bit of sent on you.
[37:33] Speaker 3: I did not like that and that in the microphone though.
[37:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, once the faithful get a little scent, I.
[37:39] Speaker 3: Know they're on you.
[37:40] Speaker 1: They're on you. Yeah, So we shall see.
[37:43] Speaker 3: We shall see the finale.
[37:45] Speaker 1: The embarrassment of riches of television this week is like
[37:48] Speaker 1: between this finale, Beast Games finale is this week and
[37:52] Speaker 1: Survivor fifty starts this week.
[37:54] Speaker 3: Are you watching Love Story? The Callen Bessett and It's.
[37:57] Speaker 1: My It's on My List? Love Story? And the Tyra
[37:59] Speaker 1: Banks the America's Next Top Model documentary?
[38:03] Speaker 3: That was just like hard to watch? Honestly, you watched it.
[38:05] Speaker 3: I watched the first episode and it's just it the
[38:07] Speaker 3: episode or is it just a documentary? Yeah? I don't know.
[38:11] Speaker 3: I would like to see one that tyro Vicks doesn't produce,
[38:14] Speaker 3: like I want to see the raw.
[38:16] Speaker 1: Did you ever watch America's Next Top Model?
[38:18] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[38:18] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
[38:19] Speaker 3: And it's crazy because like as they're introducing people, you
[38:22] Speaker 3: remember them. Haley and I were like, oh my gosh,
[38:23] Speaker 3: I remember these people, And then I was like, did
[38:25] Speaker 3: I watch every single season? I did?
[38:27] Speaker 1: I was obsessed with that show.
[38:29] Speaker 3: I do want to talk about Hillary Duff's new album okay,
[38:32] Speaker 3: because I have my thoughts, but we'll do it when
[38:35] Speaker 3: we come back.
[38:51] Speaker 6: We're back.
[38:52] Speaker 3: Oh, I was like trying to let the sound brief
[38:54] Speaker 3: for a second. We're back.
[38:58] Speaker 2: So you know, Hillary Duff had two singles that came
[39:02] Speaker 2: out before the album. I was a little I was like,
[39:04] Speaker 2: I like them, but I didn't. I wasn't all in. Yeah,
[39:08] Speaker 2: So when hearing about her album, I was excited to listen,
[39:11] Speaker 2: but not like all in.
[39:13] Speaker 1: You were like, eh, I wasn't it.
[39:14] Speaker 3: I was just like, I am obsessed. It's all I've
[39:19] Speaker 3: listened to since.
[39:20] Speaker 1: I came out, listening to it a lot too.
[39:22] Speaker 3: I specifically two songs have been on repeat for.
[39:26] Speaker 1: Tell me Okay, I'm gonna see if they're the one
[39:28] Speaker 1: same ones that I like as well.
[39:29] Speaker 6: By the way, Easton shared with me his for this
[39:32] Speaker 6: discussion as well.
[39:33] Speaker 3: You know, and I have discussed ours as well.
[39:36] Speaker 1: Hold on, okay, only two because I have three?
[39:43] Speaker 3: Well, there's two that I just go back and forth.
[39:45] Speaker 2: I've listened to the whole album multiple times, but there's
[39:48] Speaker 2: two that like, I'll play on repeat like you do
[39:51] Speaker 2: with songs.
[39:51] Speaker 1: Okay, we don't talk and growing up. Yes, those two
[39:55] Speaker 1: yes swear yes, Okay, So those are my two favorite,
[39:59] Speaker 1: and then my next is Weather for Tennis, and then
[40:02] Speaker 1: Holiday Party. I like Weather rounds out my top four.
[40:05] Speaker 2: Okay, we Don't Talk is so catchy, so catchy. It
[40:11] Speaker 2: sounds similar to the dough Chi song and Somebody that
[40:14] Speaker 2: We Used to Know, which I think is a just
[40:17] Speaker 2: a really catchy hook.
[40:18] Speaker 1: Oh you know. Her husband, Matthew Koma is like, yeah,
[40:22] Speaker 1: I'm might have to do a little research on this,
[40:24] Speaker 1: but I'm pretty sure he did Carl Ray Jepson's call
[40:27] Speaker 1: Me Maybe, Oh okay, let me ask chatchy.
[40:30] Speaker 3: So he knows a little thing about petchy.
[40:32] Speaker 1: He knows a little thing about catchy.
[40:34] Speaker 3: So I love We Don't Talk so much. I sing
[40:39] Speaker 3: it all day. If I'm not listening to it, I'm
[40:41] Speaker 3: humming it, I'm singing it.
[40:44] Speaker 1: It's very good.
[40:45] Speaker 3: Hailey loves it.
[40:47] Speaker 1: No, Matthew Coma did not produce Call Me Maybe, so
[40:50] Speaker 1: spoiler alert, I was wrong. But he did work with
[40:53] Speaker 1: Carl Ray Jebson on other songs like this kiss Okay,
[40:58] Speaker 1: but had no production credit on call Maybe, So forget.
[41:02] Speaker 3: I said that, yeah, but it was a good thought.
[41:07] Speaker 1: I like that song though the other Carli Red Jeffson
[41:09] Speaker 1: is on Catchy as well, just not as catchy as
[41:11] Speaker 1: Call Me.
[41:12] Speaker 3: She has a lot of catchy songs. Yeah, that makes sense.
[41:15] Speaker 1: I love I'm with You. I want to go to
[41:16] Speaker 1: her tour when she comes to La. I really want
[41:18] Speaker 1: to know this last time she was in La.
[41:20] Speaker 3: I know she comes back to La on this tour.
[41:25] Speaker 1: It's in a long time.
[41:26] Speaker 3: I think we have time to get tickets.
[41:27] Speaker 1: Yeah. I think she's touring like all of but the year.
[41:32] Speaker 3: So I think Easton shared the same top two.
[41:35] Speaker 6: Yeah, same top two and then he added in one
[41:37] Speaker 6: other one. Do you know what that was? You from
[41:40] Speaker 6: the Honeymoon?
[41:41] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't know.
[41:43] Speaker 6: Those are his three favorites.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Okay, well growing Up is is it an interpolation or
[41:50] Speaker 2: is it a sample?
[41:52] Speaker 1: I think it's an interpolation because it's the same exact words,
[41:56] Speaker 1: but it's a different it's a different arrangement.
[41:59] Speaker 3: But it's from the blank twe eighty two song.
[42:01] Speaker 1: Damn it, this is growing on Mamma. Yeah.
[42:07] Speaker 3: I went to listen to it and it was jarring
[42:09] Speaker 3: from her voice and there's this like blank twan eity
[42:12] Speaker 3: two is like really punk.
[42:13] Speaker 1: You know, I even realized it was in her. I
[42:14] Speaker 1: was like, why do I know all the words of
[42:16] Speaker 1: this song?
[42:19] Speaker 2: But I'm obsessed. I love both of those specifically. But
[42:23] Speaker 2: my one of my favorite things was what Matthew Coma
[42:25] Speaker 2: wrote about her album coming out, and he.
[42:29] Speaker 3: Wrote like a long did you read it?
[42:31] Speaker 2: His post about her, and he was just saying, like
[42:34] Speaker 2: her whole career, she's done like what other people wanted
[42:37] Speaker 2: her to do, and this was the first time that
[42:38] Speaker 2: she just wanted to write an album that was like
[42:40] Speaker 2: her truth and like what she had been going through
[42:42] Speaker 2: and like what it was.
[42:43] Speaker 1: So I read this story that was about her and
[42:46] Speaker 1: she was like, I wanted to talk about the real
[42:49] Speaker 1: stuff about Like She's like, I'm a mom and I
[42:52] Speaker 1: have kids. I didn't want this album to be like
[42:54] Speaker 1: I'm so stressed picking up my kids from school and
[42:56] Speaker 1: making them dinner and like that that part of the motherhood.
[42:58] Speaker 1: She was like, I wanted to talk about like all
[43:00] Speaker 1: the other like layers to it and stuff, which is
[43:03] Speaker 1: like the one holiday party where her husband's like cheating
[43:06] Speaker 1: on her and like those insecurities and like you know
[43:09] Speaker 1: what I mean. I was like, that's so deep that
[43:11] Speaker 1: she's like sharing that.
[43:12] Speaker 3: But I just love it because he was basically like she.
[43:17] Speaker 2: I think it's so cool that, of course everyone's always
[43:20] Speaker 2: loved Hillary Duff, Like there's never been a moment, even
[43:22] Speaker 2: when she's.
[43:23] Speaker 1: Our unproblematic queen.
[43:24] Speaker 2: Every Yeah, even when she wasn't really doing anything that
[43:26] Speaker 2: was in the spotlight, people still wanted more from her
[43:30] Speaker 2: since she was on Lizzie MacGuire, Like that's been her
[43:32] Speaker 2: whole life. And she's really interesting in that way because
[43:35] Speaker 2: a lot of people have had that fame and that
[43:38] Speaker 2: attention and then once they stopped doing something, people kind
[43:41] Speaker 2: of forgot about them.
[43:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, and no one's ever forgotten about Hillary Duff.
[43:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, I wonder why that is.
[43:46] Speaker 2: But with music, because she hasn't released music in so long,
[43:50] Speaker 2: I'm sure there was so much fear or like thought
[43:52] Speaker 2: process of like what am I doing? No one's gonna
[43:54] Speaker 2: care about me. I haven't released music in so long.
[43:57] Speaker 2: What if people don't show up? And I just love
[44:00] Speaker 2: that everything has sold out to the degree where it's
[44:03] Speaker 2: like we're announcing a world tour, We're doing it all.
[44:06] Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, No people are showing up for her.
[44:08] Speaker 1: She is she really is like the unproblematic queen. Yeah,
[44:11] Speaker 1: the only time I've heard any scuttle around her. Was
[44:14] Speaker 1: this like toxic mom drama?
[44:16] Speaker 6: Right?
[44:17] Speaker 1: And it seems like that kind of just like went away.
[44:20] Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, just like everything on the internet, it comes
[44:23] Speaker 3: and it goes.
[44:24] Speaker 1: Comes and it goes. Also, I have a little bone
[44:26] Speaker 1: to take with somebody.
[44:27] Speaker 3: Christen Bell, and Bell girl needs.
[44:30] Speaker 1: To stop taking my jobs.
[44:32] Speaker 3: What else did she take the show?
[44:35] Speaker 1: Nobody wants this. I could have played her character. I'm
[44:39] Speaker 1: living it. You're not an actress, whatever, Tomato, tomato.
[44:43] Speaker 3: It's very sad.
[44:44] Speaker 2: Well, I actually think you're Aaron uh Foster. Yeah, Aaron
[44:49] Speaker 2: Foster's life. Yes, she's really taking she's taking your life.
[44:54] Speaker 3: Yes, yes that is Christin Bell is simply a vessel.
[44:57] Speaker 1: But now, Kristen Bell, I have taken my role in
[45:01] Speaker 1: Sonic the Hedgehog four as Amy Rose, and I.
[45:04] Speaker 2: Think it was probably between y'all two at the end
[45:06] Speaker 2: and they edge up.
[45:10] Speaker 3: Edge you know, can we hear just a.
[45:14] Speaker 1: Line another one bites the dust?
[45:16] Speaker 3: Can we hear a line in your Amy Roe's voice?
[45:20] Speaker 3: Just just come on, Sonic, let's go up. Even you
[45:23] Speaker 3: can't get the clear.
[45:25] Speaker 1: I didn't have to say give me a line that
[45:27] Speaker 1: different than.
[45:29] Speaker 2: Almost very high and I almost felt like I couldn't
[45:33] Speaker 2: hear what you were saying because it.
[45:34] Speaker 3: Was so high.
[45:35] Speaker 1: Let me get like an actual line. Mhmm, Sonic, a
[45:41] Speaker 1: girl friend.
[45:45] Speaker 3: Anything else.
[45:46] Speaker 1: That's all gave me. I'll say more, please, Okay, here
[45:55] Speaker 1: we go. If I had to choose between the world
[45:57] Speaker 1: and Sonic, I would choose Sonic.
[46:00] Speaker 3: It's good. It needs some wait for me, it needs
[46:04] Speaker 3: some like cleaning up, and I.
[46:07] Speaker 1: Think it had.
[46:07] Speaker 6: It was more in the back of your throat before
[46:09] Speaker 6: there was.
[46:11] Speaker 3: Just because of the girl that's so scary.
[46:15] Speaker 6: I sent you a couple of more sample lines from
[46:17] Speaker 6: Amy via text here, so I feel like it was
[46:20] Speaker 6: it had more. I don't know, there's more character to it.
[46:22] Speaker 6: Right now, you're just doing yourself.
[46:24] Speaker 3: Tails.
[46:24] Speaker 1: You did it, but yeah, it's not hitting.
[46:27] Speaker 6: You're just doing Tanya high pitched. This had more of
[46:29] Speaker 6: a character to it.
[46:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, Tails, you did it, But what are you
[46:33] Speaker 1: doing here on this island?
[46:35] Speaker 3: You didn't do that with your lips? I didn't know.
[46:38] Speaker 1: I think that felt stronger.
[46:39] Speaker 6: I think it was a step in the right direction.
[46:42] Speaker 1: I feel as though the fact that I can't do
[46:43] Speaker 1: the same voice every time I problematic.
[46:46] Speaker 2: That's gonna that's what was gonna hinder you. Yeah, they
[46:48] Speaker 2: had to go with someone who had some little more.
[46:50] Speaker 3: Consistency, which you could have gotten there if they give
[46:53] Speaker 3: you the chance. But they didn't have time.
[46:56] Speaker 1: Nobody gave me the chance punch the monkey.
[47:00] Speaker 3: Side again, he's comparing yourself to punch the monkey is crazy.
[47:08] Speaker 3: We are.
[47:10] Speaker 1: Leaving today, but say we're leaving all.
