[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, We are scrubbing.
[0:14] Speaker 1: In Happy Monday, July twenty seventh for everybody listening. Shot
[0:19] Speaker 1: out of a Cannon today.
[0:20] Speaker 2: She is in a timestamp mood. Yes, she's focused on
[0:24] Speaker 2: time stamps today.
[0:25] Speaker 3: So I'm focused on improving our podcast with time stamps.
[0:29] Speaker 1: With time stamps, I think it's gonna help, you know, one,
[0:32] Speaker 1: one little improvement at a time.
[0:35] Speaker 2: Not full video episodes, but timestamps.
[0:37] Speaker 3: Well, don't get me started out. Don't get me started
[0:39] Speaker 3: on that.
[0:40] Speaker 1: I've been fighting that good fight for years and I
[0:42] Speaker 1: have to pick and choose my battles. This is something
[0:44] Speaker 1: I feel like I can take on my own and
[0:46] Speaker 1: it's just a small sliver of improvement.
[0:48] Speaker 2: That I think you love.
[0:50] Speaker 3: Is a consumer of podcast?
[0:52] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So you're shot out of the canon.
[0:54] Speaker 2: What does that mean?
[0:56] Speaker 1: Shot out of a cannon means like I'm full four
[1:00] Speaker 1: let's go bring it on type of thing.
[1:02] Speaker 3: Oh, I have to bleep that, John.
[1:07] Speaker 2: What prompted that energy?
[1:09] Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you Becca.
[1:11] Speaker 1: So actually I got a lot of really sweet dms
[1:15] Speaker 1: from last week's podcast that I want to say thank
[1:17] Speaker 1: you to our listeners because it is really really sweet
[1:23] Speaker 1: that people care that much and it means a lot
[1:26] Speaker 1: to me. I don't want to cry, so I'm not
[1:27] Speaker 1: going to cry.
[1:28] Speaker 2: Also, I want to say that so many people resonate
[1:32] Speaker 2: and relate, whether they're on the journey right now or
[1:35] Speaker 2: have you experience the journey.
[1:37] Speaker 1: So and a lot of people were dming me like
[1:39] Speaker 1: why do you not talk about your fertility journey on
[1:41] Speaker 1: the podcast? And I there's several reasons, the main one
[1:46] Speaker 1: being that we decided BECA and I. You and I
[1:49] Speaker 1: decided years ago that we wanted the podcast to be
[1:53] Speaker 1: a place of joy, levity, light. We didn't want to
[1:57] Speaker 1: bring seriousness into it.
[1:59] Speaker 2: Remember this, Yeah, but not so much about our personal lives.
[2:03] Speaker 2: I don't think that. I don't feel aligned on that.
[2:05] Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, I don't really feel aligned on that
[2:08] Speaker 2: that part of it.
[2:09] Speaker 3: Because here's the thing.
[2:10] Speaker 1: If I come in here every week and I'm sitting
[2:12] Speaker 1: here and I cry every week because I'm actually sharing
[2:16] Speaker 1: what I'm going through.
[2:17] Speaker 3: It's so sad.
[2:18] Speaker 1: It's like sad, I'm crying every week. It's not a
[2:21] Speaker 1: like light place. It's not a happy place, but it's
[2:24] Speaker 1: triggering for people that it.
[2:27] Speaker 2: Can be triggering for people, and we can when we
[2:29] Speaker 2: talk about it, put you know, a trigger warning. But
[2:31] Speaker 2: I also think it's your life and what you're going through,
[2:34] Speaker 2: like it's the biggest thing in your life right now.
[2:37] Speaker 3: Really Yeah.
[2:38] Speaker 1: And also two tiered tiered step two huh is coming
[2:44] Speaker 1: to work gives me like an escape. It's like the
[2:45] Speaker 1: only time in my day where I'm like not constantly
[2:48] Speaker 1: thinking about it. Okay, So it's like that that three.
[2:53] Speaker 1: I feel like it's triggering for people because it's all
[2:58] Speaker 1: I see. It's like my whole algorith them like I'm
[3:01] Speaker 1: it's just it's so consuming. So it's like again, this
[3:04] Speaker 1: is a podcast where we go for like levity and
[3:06] Speaker 1: lighthearted and like fun.
[3:08] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[3:09] Speaker 1: And the final thing is I'm just up to my
[3:12] Speaker 1: ears with advice, like I can't have any more in
[3:15] Speaker 1: my ear, you know. I'm coming home every day with
[3:17] Speaker 1: like a different coworker that saying, have you tried musin X.
[3:20] Speaker 1: It helps like your mucus and your vagina thicken or whatever,
[3:24] Speaker 1: you know. And then I'm coming home and telling Robbie
[3:26] Speaker 1: I want to try musinx and he's like babe, like.
[3:28] Speaker 2: You do really ingest advice as opposed to thank you.
[3:33] Speaker 2: But I'm I'm good, I'm on my own journey with this.
[3:35] Speaker 1: I yes, I ingest, and I also too don't want
[3:37] Speaker 1: to like people are always ask me questions and I'm like,
[3:41] Speaker 1: I don't not a doctor, So the last thing that
[3:43] Speaker 1: I want to do is like share what I'm doing,
[3:45] Speaker 1: because I'm just throwing spaghetti at the wall at this point,
[3:51] Speaker 1: just seeing what sticks, no pun intended.
[3:55] Speaker 2: I think that you're I don't really think you have
[3:59] Speaker 2: to ex blame yourself on why you don't want to
[4:01] Speaker 2: talk about it, but I do think it's totally up
[4:05] Speaker 2: to you how much you want to talk about my
[4:06] Speaker 2: whole thing. Well, I do want this podcast to be
[4:10] Speaker 2: a safe place, but this I mean a happy place
[4:12] Speaker 2: and like light. But I also like we are living
[4:15] Speaker 2: life and going through things, and we've always shared, Like
[4:17] Speaker 2: even through your dating experience, you shared when you were down.
[4:20] Speaker 2: You know, there's been times where we've shared things that
[4:23] Speaker 2: aren't exactly happy, go lucky, and that's okay. So I
[4:28] Speaker 2: never want you to feel that you don't have space
[4:30] Speaker 2: to talk about it on here because of like me.
[4:32] Speaker 1: No, no, no, and not you at all, but I
[4:35] Speaker 1: do we specifically. I remember vividly having these conversations with
[4:39] Speaker 1: you years ago about planemic, and.
[4:40] Speaker 2: It was like it was about the state of the world,
[4:43] Speaker 2: which can be very heavy, yes.
[4:45] Speaker 1: But we were very much like aligned in the sense
[4:47] Speaker 1: of like, we don't want heaviness, we don't want any
[4:51] Speaker 1: of that. We just want this to be like joy, light, lighthearted.
[4:56] Speaker 2: But I don't think it was relating to I don't
[4:57] Speaker 2: think I took on that agreement with it being about lives.
[5:01] Speaker 1: I honestly never experienced anything like this in my life,
[5:04] Speaker 1: so this is the first time for.
[5:05] Speaker 2: Me, I know. But I'm just saying, share as much
[5:08] Speaker 2: or as little as you want. And there's gonna be
[5:11] Speaker 2: people who are triggered by it because it's traumatizing, or
[5:15] Speaker 2: they're going through it and they don't want to see anymore.
[5:17] Speaker 2: Or there's gonna be people who are like, it's so
[5:18] Speaker 2: nice to hear someone talking about it and going through
[5:21] Speaker 2: this because it makes me feel like I'm not alone.
[5:22] Speaker 2: And you're always gonna have different versions of what people
[5:25] Speaker 2: are going through and how they resonate with things.
[5:27] Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I'm I don't even call it, I call
[5:29] Speaker 3: it fertility. Journey.
[5:31] Speaker 1: I'm not people like infertility. I'm like, I don't I'm
[5:33] Speaker 1: not infertile, yo, Like my levels are high.
[5:36] Speaker 3: Okay, so let's get that straight.
[5:39] Speaker 2: What do we call this lack of control journey?
[5:44] Speaker 3: Like, yeah, like let go let god journey.
[5:46] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[5:47] Speaker 1: I was like I've seen so my algorithm is so
[5:50] Speaker 1: much like the fertility journey for a type a person
[5:53] Speaker 1: is such a struggle because you're so used to just like, Okay,
[5:57] Speaker 1: you put in the work and you get your outcome,
[5:59] Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like this is just so
[6:01] Speaker 1: not that, like it's.
[6:02] Speaker 2: A crazy not lesson, but it's a good practice of
[6:08] Speaker 2: letting go of control because I don't like to do that.
[6:12] Speaker 2: I'm saying, a good practice for someone who doesn't like
[6:16] Speaker 2: to do that. You know, I don't like to do speak.
[6:19] Speaker 1: Practice is not making perfect. Let me tell you I've
[6:21] Speaker 1: been practicing. It's not working.
[6:26] Speaker 2: Yes, it is. It's just it's on its own timeline,
[6:29] Speaker 2: and you don't like something not being on your timeline.
[6:31] Speaker 2: Which we knew that about. Even Robbie proposing that was
[6:34] Speaker 2: a whole thing too. Oh, you didn't have control over
[6:37] Speaker 2: when he was going to.
[6:38] Speaker 1: Propose that man, and he made you practice well, Tortoise
[6:43] Speaker 1: the turtle over there. I think back on that, I'm like,
[6:47] Speaker 1: she really took his time with all due respect in
[6:52] Speaker 1: a timely manner.
[6:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, as someone who got engaged seven years after the fact,
[6:58] Speaker 2: I felt like he did a perfect time timelife.
[7:02] Speaker 3: If I were engaged to you, we'd have some talks.
[7:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, y'all do have talks because we went and
[7:09] Speaker 2: had a little small day.
[7:10] Speaker 1: So oh wait, hold on, I meant to get to
[7:13] Speaker 1: somewhere about this fertility conversation. Why I'm out of cannon, No, no,
[7:18] Speaker 1: we can go back to that. But why I'm shot
[7:20] Speaker 1: out of the cannon is because I got my period
[7:24] Speaker 1: and I decided that I'm taking a month off of
[7:28] Speaker 1: just all the everything everything in my head, and I've
[7:32] Speaker 1: like refocused into just like work.
[7:35] Speaker 2: And live and laughing and love and live.
[7:37] Speaker 1: And laughing and loving, and so I do I feel
[7:40] Speaker 1: a little bit lighter. And so I'm like trying to
[7:42] Speaker 1: rail and rejigger the podcast. I want to like make
[7:44] Speaker 1: the podcast better. I want to like keep working out
[7:47] Speaker 1: and like kind of get my physical shape back into
[7:50] Speaker 1: you know, lots to take on in one month. But anyways,
[7:54] Speaker 1: that's why I find this middle ground.
[7:56] Speaker 2: Maybe we don't go from wanting stream to the next
[7:58] Speaker 2: and we just like merge the two together.
[8:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll see. But anyways, I'm feeling good.
[8:06] Speaker 2: I'm glad to hear you got your period.
[8:08] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[8:09] Speaker 2: I was feeling what I would describe as menstrel ludial energy. Yes, well,
[8:18] Speaker 2: we went to so many moms. I feel like every
[8:22] Speaker 2: year we go to the SPA for Tony's birthday. But
[8:24] Speaker 2: she feels like it's only happened twice before. But anyways,
[8:27] Speaker 2: I feel like it's.
[8:29] Speaker 3: Three times out of the last I went to my
[8:31] Speaker 3: for my birthday last year.
[8:32] Speaker 2: I think that's what I was. Anyways, we love a
[8:34] Speaker 2: spa day tradition. Yeah, And so we were at the
[8:37] Speaker 2: SPA and I'm like, we're just having a great relaxing
[8:41] Speaker 2: time and then Tanya goes, I just miss you. Mind you.
[8:46] Speaker 2: I deal with this with my beautiful, wonderful fiance as well.
[8:50] Speaker 2: When we're in the same room and have been together NonStop,
[8:54] Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, well, I'm I'm here, I'm right here,
[8:57] Speaker 2: and she was like, I just you know, I feel
[8:59] Speaker 2: like we haven't had quality time and we're drifted. Our
[9:05] Speaker 2: friendship has drifted apart, and I'm like, I have not
[9:09] Speaker 2: felt this at all, So I'm so sorry I haven't
[9:11] Speaker 2: picked up on this. But next time, just communicate with
[9:15] Speaker 2: me so we can just re establish things. Because I'm
[9:18] Speaker 2: feeling fine. I'm feeling good. Nothing's changed in my heart.
[9:21] Speaker 1: And I was reassuring to hear as someone who feels
[9:24] Speaker 1: their friend is drifting away, I feel nothing.
[9:26] Speaker 3: I feel fine.
[9:28] Speaker 2: No, I just have secure attachment with you.
[9:30] Speaker 3: Ah. Yes, it must be nice, so.
[9:35] Speaker 2: I said, Unfortunately, whether you try to push me away
[9:39] Speaker 2: or not, I'm not going anywhere. We had to re
[9:41] Speaker 2: establish things. So I didn't know we were drifting, but
[9:46] Speaker 2: we're back.
[9:48] Speaker 1: So it was a combination of things. Because I've been
[9:51] Speaker 1: on one.
[9:52] Speaker 2: I'm upset. I didn't tell her about the Taylor Swish wedding,
[9:54] Speaker 2: so okay, yes, however, that's why she felt like we
[9:57] Speaker 2: were drifting.
[9:58] Speaker 1: No, it was before. It was weak before that. But
[10:01] Speaker 1: what I did not take into consideration was a lot
[10:04] Speaker 1: of your emotional mental energy was going to with your
[10:07] Speaker 1: going to your fiance for the movie release, and so
[10:11] Speaker 1: you were a little bit distant, but but rightfully so,
[10:14] Speaker 1: you had a lot going on, which I wasn't really
[10:17] Speaker 1: thinking about I wasn't that wasn't in the forefront in
[10:19] Speaker 1: my mind. I'm like, she's just not available to me,
[10:21] Speaker 1: and like she hates me. And now she's not telling
[10:23] Speaker 1: me about Taylor and Travis's wedding, and now she did
[10:25] Speaker 1: not hear for my birthday and she hates me.
[10:28] Speaker 2: I asked about like go go, and then it's brought
[10:31] Speaker 2: back up in the conversation of a strip.
[10:33] Speaker 1: So anyways, anyways, a lot of progesterone in my system
[10:38] Speaker 1: combode with that, combode with Haley's movie coming out.
[10:42] Speaker 3: I was just feeling a lot of things and I.
[10:44] Speaker 2: Need I need to get away. I think I think
[10:46] Speaker 2: I need a break, just someone people just giving to me,
[10:51] Speaker 2: filling me up.
[10:52] Speaker 1: Well, I'm here, I'm here to do that now, right, Yeah, yeah,
[10:56] Speaker 1: I'm good.
[10:56] Speaker 2: I'll be seeking that out.
[10:58] Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah. But I want to miss you. I mean,
[11:00] Speaker 3: I feel the same way about Robbie what.
[11:03] Speaker 2: You've shared on your story. Yeah. And then he actually
[11:06] Speaker 2: initiated the conversation.
[11:08] Speaker 3: He said I miss you, which he never does.
[11:10] Speaker 1: So I was like, you've trained him well, and I
[11:15] Speaker 1: was like so taken aback by it.
[11:16] Speaker 3: I was like, you finally understand the feeling. Oh yeah,
[11:22] Speaker 3: because I'm like it's.
[11:24] Speaker 1: We Yes, I see you every day, so it's like,
[11:26] Speaker 1: how can I miss you? But like the quality time's
[11:29] Speaker 1: not there because we've been constantly We worked during the day,
[11:32] Speaker 1: so we're not together during the day, and then we've
[11:33] Speaker 1: had a social event every single night, and then we
[11:36] Speaker 1: were in San Diego, so it was like we just
[11:37] Speaker 1: had and then the week before we had the kids, so.
[11:41] Speaker 3: There was just no quality time.
[11:43] Speaker 2: Yeah. I messaged telling you on her story and I
[11:46] Speaker 2: was like, I just am so happy I'll found each other.
[11:50] Speaker 3: Same, same, yeah, And I think about that a lot.
[11:55] Speaker 1: Whenever I get like sad about the fertility stuff, I'm like,
[11:57] Speaker 1: at least I have a partner in life at is
[12:01] Speaker 1: as amazing as he is, right truly, Yeah, carries me through.
[12:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, tgfr Stable. Thank God for Robbie. Yeah yeah, yeah.
[12:12] Speaker 2: We were always looking for your study.
[12:13] Speaker 3: Eddie, and I found him, I know, thank God.
[12:18] Speaker 2: So you want to say to you this weekend?
[12:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, would you do this weekend?
[12:22] Speaker 2: Well? So Haley was out of town, so Friday night
[12:25] Speaker 2: I was just like a lone ranger and I ordered
[12:28] Speaker 2: every meal to my home. I only talked to Haley
[12:32] Speaker 2: on the phone. That's the only person I actually spoke
[12:35] Speaker 2: out loud to other than Phoebe, which I realized I
[12:37] Speaker 2: talked to her a lot.
[12:39] Speaker 3: I talked to her when it's just us in the house.
[12:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, And then I realized, I'm essentially talking to myself,
[12:45] Speaker 2: but I do it a lot. Like I was really
[12:48] Speaker 2: thinking about how often I'm like saying my little ritual
[12:52] Speaker 2: things to her, you know her in the world.
[12:55] Speaker 3: You always talk to me.
[12:56] Speaker 2: No, but I didn't. Sorry, I didn't want to talk.
[12:58] Speaker 2: I was like happy to be silent, you know. But anyways,
[13:01] Speaker 2: I was Carson and Alley came over with their son,
[13:04] Speaker 2: their one year old son, and I was telling them.
[13:08] Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, Friday, I only talked to Haley, like,
[13:11] Speaker 2: that's the only time I spoke out loud. And I
[13:13] Speaker 2: just sat in silence. And he was like, and you
[13:15] Speaker 2: just ordered every meal to your door. And I was
[13:16] Speaker 2: like yeah. And he's like, wow, that's a dream. He's like,
[13:22] Speaker 2: you don't get that when you have when you have
[13:24] Speaker 2: a child.
[13:24] Speaker 3: That's honestly not my dream.
[13:27] Speaker 2: I know it's not. It's not everyone's dream, yeah, but
[13:30] Speaker 2: I know it's yours.
[13:30] Speaker 3: I'm happy for you.
[13:31] Speaker 2: Thank you. I had a great time. I got olive
[13:33] Speaker 2: garden delivered and what else, Well, I had ice cream
[13:39] Speaker 2: and then also snacks late at night, and then I
[13:41] Speaker 2: had hi that's not neither here nor there.
[13:45] Speaker 3: Yeah that does matter, It really doesn't, it really does.
[13:47] Speaker 2: I don't think I was high that night, oh yeah, yeah, okay,
[13:50] Speaker 2: but anyways, I would do that on a sober night
[13:53] Speaker 2: as well. Yeah. So I was just vibing by myself.
[13:58] Speaker 2: And then Saturday I had a day with children. I
[14:01] Speaker 2: Alian Carson came over and swam, and then that night
[14:04] Speaker 2: I went to the park Huntington Gardens with Hailey's sister
[14:07] Speaker 2: and then.
[14:08] Speaker 3: Oh it's the Huntington Gardens. Is it pretty?
[14:09] Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's gorgeous.
[14:10] Speaker 3: Yeah. Everybody tells me that it's beautiful.
[14:12] Speaker 2: And they talked aren't allowed, no, Yeah, but they had
[14:16] Speaker 2: a swing band played. They do like summer concert so
[14:19] Speaker 2: it's like people all bring their like picnics and stuff.
[14:21] Speaker 2: So I went with Haley's sister and then her two kids,
[14:25] Speaker 2: niece and nephew, and it was really fun, so hot,
[14:29] Speaker 2: just so hot, but I was doing cartwheels and round
[14:31] Speaker 2: offs because there was an open field and I just
[14:33] Speaker 2: felt youthful. My whole body is in pain. Yeah, like
[14:39] Speaker 2: every muscle.
[14:40] Speaker 3: It creeps up on you and you do stuff like that.
[14:42] Speaker 2: But it felt so easy doing it, Like I was like,
[14:44] Speaker 2: it's like riding a bike.
[14:46] Speaker 1: I just whenever I play in the pool with the kids.
[14:48] Speaker 1: The next day, I'm like.
[14:49] Speaker 2: Aha, my shoulders maybe into some stretch glasses or something.
[14:55] Speaker 1: Let me tell you it's coming back. I'm doing it
[14:57] Speaker 1: this month. This is the month for me to get
[14:59] Speaker 1: it back.
[14:59] Speaker 2: Yeah. Is this like the exit of tender Tanya? What's happening? Wonderful?
[15:03] Speaker 3: That extreme? I still love, Like I'm still gonna like
[15:05] Speaker 3: sleep and kitten heels. Yeah, and we're not like going
[15:11] Speaker 3: to the clue or anything like that.
[15:13] Speaker 2: But but like if we went and had dinner, would
[15:15] Speaker 2: you get a drink? Yeah?
[15:16] Speaker 1: I had a drink on Friday too. Actually, how was
[15:19] Speaker 1: it amazing? Except you know what I realized, Well, I'll
[15:23] Speaker 1: tell you when we come back.
[15:24] Speaker 2: Wow, we're back.
[15:41] Speaker 3: We're back. Do you know what I realized? But I
[15:46] Speaker 3: don't like drinking.
[15:49] Speaker 2: The tease of a century. But you just said it
[15:53] Speaker 2: was amazing.
[15:53] Speaker 1: It was in the moment.
[15:54] Speaker 3: So here's the thing.
[15:55] Speaker 2: I just had this conversation with Ali.
[15:57] Speaker 3: Oh really Yeah, So Okay.
[15:59] Speaker 1: So my we had like a really fun dinner and
[16:02] Speaker 1: my inlaws. My in laws wanted to take me out
[16:04] Speaker 1: for my birthday. What I also realized when you don't
[16:06] Speaker 1: have like a activity for your birthday, like you don't
[16:08] Speaker 1: have like a dinner or anything like that, you want
[16:11] Speaker 1: a lot of little activities with with a lot of
[16:13] Speaker 1: people my birthday celebrate you, yes, which is so nice.
[16:16] Speaker 1: So I'm like, I feel like I've been celebrating my
[16:17] Speaker 1: I'm going to lunch tomorrow for my birthday. I'm like
[16:19] Speaker 1: I've been celebrating my birthday for two weeks now.
[16:22] Speaker 2: Fun so loved. Oh what is the the my house is?
[16:28] Speaker 2: What is the saying where people complain about things?
[16:31] Speaker 3: About complaining? I love it so nice, Like you know
[16:33] Speaker 3: what I'm talking about.
[16:34] Speaker 2: When people come like, yeah, some mistake's to buttery, the
[16:38] Speaker 2: lobsters to lobstery. No, not a lobstery anyways.
[16:43] Speaker 3: I understand, but it is nice.
[16:45] Speaker 1: So I went to my in laws took me to
[16:47] Speaker 1: dinner and it was a really fun dinner. It's like
[16:49] Speaker 1: this restaurant that I love. And I had a glass
[16:53] Speaker 1: of wine.
[16:53] Speaker 2: Okay, then I.
[16:56] Speaker 3: Basically finished pauline A's glass of wine.
[16:59] Speaker 2: Okay.
[17:00] Speaker 1: Then my mother in law was like flirting with not
[17:03] Speaker 1: flirting with, like trying to talk to this job at
[17:05] Speaker 1: the table, charming to like set Pauline up, and so
[17:09] Speaker 1: they sent over champagne. Wow, So I had what is
[17:13] Speaker 1: that one and a half plus champagne? So two and
[17:15] Speaker 1: a half drinks by the time I got home that
[17:19] Speaker 1: night at a headache.
[17:22] Speaker 2: Champagne destroys me.
[17:24] Speaker 1: I literally had I was like, how am I hungover
[17:26] Speaker 1: before the next day? Like this, this is some.
[17:29] Speaker 2: Crazy I even drink in like a year, right.
[17:33] Speaker 1: I'll have like a little bit like when I get
[17:34] Speaker 1: my period, I'll have, you know, a little something to
[17:37] Speaker 1: take the edge off. But it's not more than like
[17:39] Speaker 1: a half a glass of wine. I'm not you know,
[17:41] Speaker 1: throwing anything back really right, So yeah, it's been a minute.
[17:44] Speaker 1: But like the fact that I had a headache at
[17:47] Speaker 1: ten pm on a Friday or whatever, it was like
[17:49] Speaker 1: nine pm.
[17:50] Speaker 2: I will rarely drink champagne because I immediately feel like
[17:54] Speaker 2: I will nap and have a headache.
[17:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's horrible. So it's like the drinking was fun
[17:58] Speaker 3: in the moment.
[17:59] Speaker 1: I had so much fun, but then I'm like, I
[18:00] Speaker 1: have a headache now, and I'm trying to go to
[18:02] Speaker 1: bed and this is gonna mess up my sleep.
[18:05] Speaker 2: This happened when we were in Cabo, and I don't
[18:08] Speaker 2: know if it's just everything's better quality and stronger if
[18:12] Speaker 2: they just do heavier pores. But we would get a
[18:15] Speaker 2: drink at the pool and we were like, we need
[18:17] Speaker 2: to go nap.
[18:18] Speaker 3: Well, also because of the heat.
[18:20] Speaker 2: It was very hot in here. Yeah, but normally you're
[18:22] Speaker 2: sweating it out, so you almost sometimes you feel like
[18:24] Speaker 2: you're actually not like, I.
[18:27] Speaker 3: Know, are you kid?
[18:28] Speaker 2: Say it's your wedding, but yeah, yes, And when.
[18:31] Speaker 1: We were Palm Springs and you were like throwing up
[18:33] Speaker 1: during our Sabrina Carpenter.
[18:34] Speaker 2: However, that was different because I was in the pool drinking,
[18:39] Speaker 2: so I wasn't even feeling.
[18:40] Speaker 1: How No, So the heat dehydrates you and then alcohol
[18:44] Speaker 1: dehydrates you.
[18:45] Speaker 3: It's like a double whammy.
[18:46] Speaker 2: Okay, Well, anyways, the whole time we were like, gosh,
[18:50] Speaker 2: we are such lightweights. We immediately need a nap after
[18:52] Speaker 2: we go to like drink. And then Ali texted me
[18:55] Speaker 2: and said she hasn't basically drink in a year, and
[18:57] Speaker 2: she said she had a margarita and she was like,
[19:00] Speaker 2: I feel drunk from one margerity, yeah, even why do
[19:03] Speaker 2: we do this?
[19:04] Speaker 1: And I was like, well, it's so it's when you're
[19:05] Speaker 1: at a social it's so fun.
[19:08] Speaker 2: There's nothing better than just like that first fiel or
[19:11] Speaker 2: first drink, feeling nothing better.
[19:14] Speaker 3: Nothing better. I was flying high at dinner.
[19:17] Speaker 2: And then you wake up and you're like, was it
[19:19] Speaker 2: that fun?
[19:20] Speaker 3: That's fine. I took some motrin and I was able
[19:22] Speaker 3: to sleep, So it was fun. It was that fun.
[19:26] Speaker 3: So yeah, I don't know, maybe I'll have like a drink.
[19:28] Speaker 2: With you, but well, how lucky would I be? How
[19:31] Speaker 2: lucky could I be?
[19:33] Speaker 3: Do you know what else?
[19:34] Speaker 1: I realize that that I'm so awkward. I always talk
[19:37] Speaker 1: about Zoom.
[19:38] Speaker 3: And stuff like that. How much I hate Zoom.
[19:40] Speaker 1: I really hate Zoom because I just don't think I'm
[19:42] Speaker 1: my best self on Zoom. I had this like meeting
[19:46] Speaker 1: with this person from the Food Network. It was just
[19:48] Speaker 1: like a get to know them type thing, and I'm like,
[19:52] Speaker 1: I'm so awkward.
[19:54] Speaker 2: You probably weren't awkward I am, but what I don't
[19:57] Speaker 2: even I can't even picture you being awkward. I know
[20:00] Speaker 2: I don't have that vibe at all.
[20:01] Speaker 1: I don't think so either, But I left it like
[20:04] Speaker 1: not feeling confident and I don't like that. And I'm like,
[20:07] Speaker 1: it's the zoom. It's these screens.
[20:12] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the damn phone because I don't know, I
[20:19] Speaker 4: can't be one hundred percent myself through the zoom.
[20:23] Speaker 2: Well, now you should just request in person meetings.
[20:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll come to you.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll come wherever you are.
[20:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever city you live in, I'm there.
[20:30] Speaker 2: You should just say before we if you have to
[20:32] Speaker 2: do a zoom, you should say, can we start with
[20:34] Speaker 2: an icebreaker and just play the Guess Who game?
[20:37] Speaker 3: Really quick? An excellent idea. It might take a while.
[20:40] Speaker 2: Tell them to allow fifteen minutes you know start time.
[20:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, could work. Also, I might take an AI camp
[20:52] Speaker 1: this summer.
[20:54] Speaker 2: An AI camp?
[20:55] Speaker 3: What is that where I learned about AI?
[20:58] Speaker 2: Where like the Apple Store or they do like free
[21:00] Speaker 2: things for older people?
[21:04] Speaker 3: No, at a college campus, Thank you very much.
[21:08] Speaker 2: I mean, I'm like, it's weird because AI is so
[21:12] Speaker 2: complicated my feelings towards it, because it's happening, whether I
[21:16] Speaker 2: want to support it or not, you know, like it's
[21:18] Speaker 2: it's it's inevitable.
[21:20] Speaker 3: In twenty years, AI is probably gonna be doing your surgeries.
[21:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you won't even say twenty years then,
[21:27] Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. It's going fast.
[21:29] Speaker 3: It's going fast.
[21:29] Speaker 2: Anyways. It's kind of like get on the boat or
[21:32] Speaker 2: get left behind exactly, And it's hard to know where
[21:38] Speaker 2: like the moral part of me stand, like my morality
[21:41] Speaker 2: around it, you.
[21:42] Speaker 3: Know, yeah, yeah yeah.
[21:43] Speaker 2: But it's also like it is one of those things
[21:46] Speaker 2: where you go, Okay, our parents didn't want to learn
[21:48] Speaker 2: things about technology, and if you didn't choose to learn
[21:53] Speaker 2: and move forward, you know, I don't know, complicated, But anyways,
[21:57] Speaker 2: where are you taking it? Are you going to code?
[22:00] Speaker 2: What are you going to do?
[22:01] Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
[22:02] Speaker 1: I'm not one hundred percent sure this is the place
[22:04] Speaker 1: for me. I'm just like doing some initial investigating.
[22:07] Speaker 2: Huh what are you trying to do with AI?
[22:09] Speaker 3: Just like learn about it?
[22:10] Speaker 2: But like what are you wanting to learn? Which you want?
[22:14] Speaker 1: What I can?
[22:14] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[22:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Like CHATCHYBT is like my Google, my like
[22:17] Speaker 1: Google search, but beyond that, like what can it do
[22:20] Speaker 1: for me?
[22:20] Speaker 3: How can I help me with?
[22:21] Speaker 2: You say, to figure that out? You're going to pay
[22:23] Speaker 2: for a class?
[22:24] Speaker 3: Can I just help you? Know?
[22:26] Speaker 1: I need like I need initial base and care. Yeah,
[22:29] Speaker 1: hands on definitely get not through a screen, not with
[22:32] Speaker 1: an AI.
[22:32] Speaker 3: I don't need AI.
[22:33] Speaker 1: Teaching me about AI. That could be a disaster. Okay,
[22:36] Speaker 1: I feel like Robbie could.
[22:38] Speaker 2: He seems quite knowledgeable in his he's very knowledgeable. Yes,
[22:41] Speaker 2: maybe he can give you some tips and then if
[22:43] Speaker 2: you need further you could take a class.
[22:45] Speaker 3: I don't know about that.
[22:48] Speaker 2: What else are you learning about?
[22:51] Speaker 3: I need something? Is over?
[22:54] Speaker 2: Okay? Tanya sent me up. She was like, oh Hannah
[22:58] Speaker 2: Berner got bowtok and her drawings. You can't smile. And
[23:01] Speaker 2: then Sam said, the article is from June Thirtieth's like
[23:05] Speaker 2: a month since Donya has missed about this happening breaking
[23:11] Speaker 2: news here in grubbing in Hannah Burner.
[23:15] Speaker 1: First of all, Okay, so it's not about the breaking news,
[23:18] Speaker 1: because nobody comes here to get breaking news. This is
[23:20] Speaker 1: not the podcast for breaking news. However, it is our
[23:23] Speaker 1: interpretation or our perspective on that news that I think
[23:26] Speaker 1: is of interest.
[23:27] Speaker 2: What's what's your perspective?
[23:29] Speaker 3: Well, so I don't follow Hannah Burner.
[23:31] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you're missing out.
[23:33] Speaker 1: I don't follow Hannah Burner, nor do I follow the
[23:34] Speaker 1: Giggly squad fill and no I never watched Summer House.
[23:38] Speaker 3: I don't know who these people are.
[23:39] Speaker 2: There are two women in podcasts.
[23:41] Speaker 3: Well, they came late in the game.
[23:45] Speaker 2: They took off though, that's why surpassed us quickly.
[23:51] Speaker 1: That's neither here nor there. Okay, they're not in my orbit.
[23:55] Speaker 1: So this popped up in my like discover page and
[23:57] Speaker 1: I now follow the Giggly Squad because I really enjoy
[24:00] Speaker 1: this clip that I saw. But it was of Hannah.
[24:03] Speaker 2: Uh.
[24:04] Speaker 1: She was like laughing and her face wasn't moving, and
[24:07] Speaker 1: so I was very intrigued of like what she got done.
[24:10] Speaker 3: But I thought it was also really cool that.
[24:13] Speaker 1: She didn't like go to get it like fixed or whatever,
[24:16] Speaker 1: or like cancel the podcast and yeah you can get
[24:19] Speaker 1: it like dissolved.
[24:19] Speaker 2: No not you can't get filler dissolved, not like.
[24:22] Speaker 1: Yeah, you can go into a sauna and like heat
[24:24] Speaker 1: it out, because like the sauna.
[24:27] Speaker 2: You can get stuff done, but it's not in it.
[24:29] Speaker 2: I think she's probably doing all the time, assuming she's
[24:32] Speaker 2: probably doing everything she can.
[24:33] Speaker 1: They could have paused their podcast for a beat, like
[24:36] Speaker 1: you know what I mean? If she I just like
[24:37] Speaker 1: that she's owning it.
[24:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, a podcast isn't typically audio.
[24:43] Speaker 3: So I saw THEIRS, I was like a clip.
[24:46] Speaker 2: You know they have they have the video option, But
[24:49] Speaker 2: she could have just said The impressive part is that
[24:51] Speaker 2: she didn't say, we're only releasing audio. Yeah, for however
[24:55] Speaker 2: long this takes. She's giving the people the gift of
[24:59] Speaker 2: going through this with her because one of the funniest things,
[25:03] Speaker 2: like when someone goes to the dentist and gets a
[25:05] Speaker 2: shot and they can't smile, but hers is permanent until
[25:08] Speaker 2: it goes.
[25:08] Speaker 3: Away for like a three months.
[25:11] Speaker 2: So basically she had I think she got it for
[25:13] Speaker 2: her TMJ.
[25:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, but I've also had TMJ botalks and my face
[25:17] Speaker 1: did not do that.
[25:18] Speaker 2: The girl that does my bowtox Brianna. She was saying
[25:21] Speaker 2: that sometimes if you go to someone who specializes in
[25:24] Speaker 2: the TMJ aspect and not the cosmetic part, they just
[25:28] Speaker 2: put as much as they need it. They just are
[25:30] Speaker 2: focused on making your TMJ pain go away, as opposed
[25:33] Speaker 2: to thinking about the cosmetic repercussions. And I don't know, I.
[25:37] Speaker 1: Always have to think about the cosmetic repercussions.
[25:40] Speaker 2: Spoiler alert botox. I'm just like throwing caution to the wind. Really,
[25:45] Speaker 2: I mean, I trust her, she knows where to put it.
[25:46] Speaker 2: But like I've had times where I've gone to someone
[25:48] Speaker 2: in my eyebrow was like up higher than the other.
[25:51] Speaker 2: But that you can fix because you can do different muscles,
[25:55] Speaker 2: you know. But I think with the jaw you can't.
[25:58] Speaker 3: Really.
[26:00] Speaker 2: I think it just has to run its course. But
[26:02] Speaker 2: it is hilarious and Page, oh my god, the video
[26:07] Speaker 2: is hilarious. If you had that, I would not be
[26:11] Speaker 2: able to control my laughter.
[26:13] Speaker 3: Would be able.
[26:14] Speaker 1: I don't even know what I would do if I
[26:16] Speaker 1: had that. It would stress me out. It would stress
[26:20] Speaker 1: me out. Yeah, it would send me into a spiral.
[26:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I love her. I love She's so funny.
[26:27] Speaker 3: Yeah, new fans. Shout out to Hannah and Page. You
[26:31] Speaker 3: got a new fan and me and they've.
[26:32] Speaker 2: Really got something going on. Girls. Welcome to the.
[26:37] Speaker 1: Podcast Onto something over there at Giggly Squad.
[26:42] Speaker 2: Okay, so speaking of last wait, No, I want to
[26:45] Speaker 2: talk about. Did you go to Arizona State? Is that
[26:47] Speaker 2: where you went? No? The other one? You went to
[26:51] Speaker 2: the other one, the party School?
[26:52] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[26:52] Speaker 3: I did you went to the party School? Yes? What
[26:55] Speaker 3: was that one called University of Arizona.
[26:56] Speaker 2: Oh, it's tough. Why there's so many there's two Okay,
[27:00] Speaker 2: well I had a fifty fifty I missed a so
[27:05] Speaker 2: Arizona state. I'm assuming your rival, yes, rival has launched
[27:10] Speaker 2: is launching a degree on becoming an influencer.
[27:13] Speaker 3: Yes, I saw this.
[27:15] Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this?
[27:17] Speaker 1: I think it's a terrible idea. Really, Yes, why Because
[27:21] Speaker 1: here's the thing.
[27:22] Speaker 3: I think that.
[27:27] Speaker 1: A lot of a lot of kids these days, the
[27:31] Speaker 1: kids these days, that's like their go to. If you
[27:35] Speaker 1: ask all these kids what they want to be, they
[27:36] Speaker 1: say they want to be TikTok stars and influencers. Giving
[27:41] Speaker 1: them a course where they think that that's something that
[27:43] Speaker 1: like they all. I don't know, I just find it
[27:46] Speaker 1: to be problematic for our future.
[27:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's fair. But I also think it's
[27:52] Speaker 2: a specific personality of someone who, once they get into
[27:55] Speaker 2: the world of making videos and editing videos and doing it,
[27:59] Speaker 2: decid I, oh, do I have the is this what
[28:03] Speaker 2: I want?
[28:03] Speaker 5: Like?
[28:03] Speaker 2: Do I have the personality for this? Do I have
[28:05] Speaker 2: the like desire the consistency? Because the thing about it's
[28:10] Speaker 2: such a luck It's such a lucky thing. And I
[28:13] Speaker 2: think there is a way that you can use tools
[28:17] Speaker 2: and metrics to grow a platform like I do think
[28:20] Speaker 2: you could just start from the bottom and use like
[28:22] Speaker 2: information you have to build. But I think it's I
[28:27] Speaker 2: would say luck that your a video goes viral, And
[28:30] Speaker 2: then I think it's being someone that's interesting. Like I
[28:33] Speaker 2: think about Alex Earl and she was just consistent in
[28:35] Speaker 2: like making videos of her getting ready for her parties
[28:37] Speaker 2: in college and people loved that. She was so like
[28:41] Speaker 2: she was such a party girl and owned it, like
[28:43] Speaker 2: she was just who she was and she was taking
[28:45] Speaker 2: us along with her. And instead of staying stagnant and
[28:49] Speaker 2: that being even though she still like shows her getting
[28:51] Speaker 2: ready to go out and party and stuff, she's elevated
[28:54] Speaker 2: herself into this business woman and has done so much
[28:57] Speaker 2: more and that it's not a lack of hard work.
[29:00] Speaker 2: Is it a fun job? Is it like a dream job? Sure?
[29:04] Speaker 2: But like is she working her ass off? Yeah?
[29:10] Speaker 1: I don't think that this is Like I think there's
[29:11] Speaker 1: space for everybody and anybody that wants to be an influencer.
[29:14] Speaker 1: I think can be I think where my where I
[29:17] Speaker 1: feel like, And I think people do this in real
[29:21] Speaker 1: life where they like go to build their social media
[29:25] Speaker 1: whilst they also are doing something else that's like paying
[29:28] Speaker 1: the bills, right, and then if they catch them, if
[29:31] Speaker 1: they are able to get brand deals, if they're able
[29:33] Speaker 1: to make a living out of it, then they.
[29:34] Speaker 3: Let go of that job.
[29:36] Speaker 1: But I feel like just like going straight into it
[29:39] Speaker 1: taking a course and like graduating with an honor or
[29:43] Speaker 1: an honor and influencing or whatever.
[29:46] Speaker 3: I just I was just a class.
[29:48] Speaker 2: Wait, I agree, it is a degree.
[29:51] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's concerning to me for just for that purposes,
[29:55] Speaker 1: because I feel like it's something that you should do
[29:56] Speaker 1: in tandem with alongside something else. And I just feel
[30:01] Speaker 1: like when your frontal lobe is not developed, you're not
[30:04] Speaker 1: gonna see that.
[30:05] Speaker 2: Here's the thing. They're already online. Every the kids are
[30:08] Speaker 2: already online. They're already being to do it. So if
[30:11] Speaker 2: they have a chance to use their brain and have
[30:13] Speaker 2: a marketing mindset to where even if it wasn't them
[30:16] Speaker 2: being an influencer working with brands and knowing how marketing
[30:19] Speaker 2: strategy works, I don't think it's a negative thing. If
[30:23] Speaker 2: they're already going to be online, why not make money.
[30:27] Speaker 3: Because they can learn all this on AI? Why are
[30:31] Speaker 3: you taking a class?
[30:34] Speaker 2: I hate when it goes back around like that.
[30:38] Speaker 3: Damn, damn, I hate that for me.
[30:41] Speaker 2: Anyways, it's it's interesting and it might be one of
[30:44] Speaker 2: those things where it was like that was a bust,
[30:46] Speaker 2: you know, we don't need to do that again, or
[30:49] Speaker 2: it might create more people good at marketing and strategy.
[30:54] Speaker 3: Good job as U.
[30:56] Speaker 1: Speaking of social media, you know, it's so freaking funny
[31:00] Speaker 1: and that, like.
[31:01] Speaker 3: I I.
[31:04] Speaker 1: Get what's the word tricked so much on social media?
[31:09] Speaker 1: So there's this girl that I follow. I don't follow her. Sorry,
[31:12] Speaker 1: I don't follow her. She came up in my you
[31:14] Speaker 1: know whatever, my discovery phage.
[31:16] Speaker 3: And it was like.
[31:19] Speaker 1: I lived this amazing life and like click or like
[31:22] Speaker 1: comment below comment class for me to send you what.
[31:28] Speaker 2: Was her name? The lazy Millionaire?
[31:30] Speaker 1: No to send me, I'll send you my five day
[31:35] Speaker 1: crash course on like whatever.
[31:38] Speaker 3: This is right, So what do I do? Comment below class? Okay?
[31:43] Speaker 1: So she DMS me and she goes and it's all automated.
[31:47] Speaker 1: I can tell it's not her, right, it's like all
[31:48] Speaker 1: it's just like it's a message and it goes. In
[31:51] Speaker 1: order for me to send you the class, you have
[31:52] Speaker 1: to follow me, okay, So I go over to her
[31:55] Speaker 1: page click follow. Meanwhile, Robbie's right next to me during
[31:58] Speaker 1: this whole thing. I'm like, babe, this girl's gonna get
[32:00] Speaker 1: this class and like learn all this stuff. And then
[32:03] Speaker 1: she goes click the link and like answer these questions.
[32:06] Speaker 1: And Robbie was like, babe, this is some sort.
[32:09] Speaker 2: Of pyramid scheme. Yes, em mel, yes, and everybody's doing it.
[32:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, but why Okay, So I was gonna fall for it.
[32:18] Speaker 1: But then so she kept sending me the link and
[32:20] Speaker 1: I wasn't clicking the link, and then she like sent
[32:22] Speaker 1: me another automated thing like make sure you click the
[32:23] Speaker 1: link you to get my course, And I was like,
[32:25] Speaker 1: I don't want your course anymore. You said that, no,
[32:29] Speaker 1: but I just ignored it because then Robbie told me,
[32:30] Speaker 1: this's like some scheme. But then I'm like, obviously a
[32:34] Speaker 1: lot of people are falling for it. What's the scheme?
[32:36] Speaker 1: How am I getting schemed?
[32:38] Speaker 2: Not schem? I don't think it's that. I think it's
[32:41] Speaker 2: just like your it's probably like you buy my course.
[32:44] Speaker 2: So that's how she makes money.
[32:45] Speaker 3: Oh so I would have to buy it. You probably
[32:48] Speaker 3: she was gonna send it to me for free.
[32:49] Speaker 2: I don't think nothing's for free. But girl, shoot, yeah,
[32:55] Speaker 2: it's a it's a thing. It's like a business plan. Basically,
[32:58] Speaker 2: it's almost like how to build it's basically becoming an
[33:01] Speaker 2: influencer degree.
[33:02] Speaker 3: So this is what they would teach you at ASU.
[33:04] Speaker 3: Literally it's a step.
[33:05] Speaker 2: By step probably generated from AI, of like how should
[33:09] Speaker 2: I teach people to grow their platform?
[33:12] Speaker 3: Wow, she got me this girl.
[33:14] Speaker 2: It's very I mean, listen, it's business minded, it's marketing.
[33:17] Speaker 2: I followed this girl and she sent me a what
[33:21] Speaker 2: I think is of generated voice memo and it was like,
[33:25] Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I can't believe you followed me. That's
[33:28] Speaker 2: how it started to us, like oh, like she knows
[33:30] Speaker 2: me from watching The Bachelor or something. No, just like
[33:35] Speaker 2: anonymate basically that same thing, which is genius because the
[33:38] Speaker 2: text is the text is deceiving, but a.
[33:41] Speaker 1: Voice note, Yeah, that's what do you want from a girl?
[33:49] Speaker 1: By the way, my dad okay, so you know my
[33:51] Speaker 1: dad's a retired psychiatrist. Yes, So everything is like this
[33:55] Speaker 1: like analysis of whatever.
[33:57] Speaker 3: And when I was.
[33:58] Speaker 1: There this weekend, Robin were having a conversation with him
[34:01] Speaker 1: about somebody, somebody in our life that wants to become
[34:04] Speaker 1: an influencer. And my dad's just like trying so hard
[34:08] Speaker 1: to like understand the life of it and like, so
[34:11] Speaker 1: he was like, I can't remember we brought your name
[34:15] Speaker 1: up and my dad was like trying to understand that.
[34:18] Speaker 3: So why why do people follow beca? Like what is
[34:22] Speaker 3: it about Becca that people say?
[34:25] Speaker 2: Hard to say?
[34:26] Speaker 1: But like we're trying to like differentiate, and like he
[34:29] Speaker 1: just wasn't getting it.
[34:30] Speaker 3: And I was like, that's exactly why.
[34:32] Speaker 2: Because I think when you have someone who has a
[34:34] Speaker 2: niche platform and you're like, oh, they follow me for this,
[34:37] Speaker 2: it's easier to explain to somebody.
[34:39] Speaker 1: But my dad knows you. So it's really the example
[34:41] Speaker 1: that I can give because if I gave him somebody else,
[34:44] Speaker 1: he would not know who they are, do you know
[34:45] Speaker 1: what I mean?
[34:46] Speaker 3: I had to give him like well, you.
[34:47] Speaker 2: Could just be like, oh, this is so and so
[34:49] Speaker 2: she's known for her cooking videos and her recipes like
[34:52] Speaker 2: brock your body, and so everyone follows her to get
[34:55] Speaker 2: recipes that are like dupes from their favorite restaurants. I'm
[34:58] Speaker 2: a tough It's a tough soun for someone who doesn't
[35:02] Speaker 2: understand what was really tough prob.
[35:04] Speaker 3: Me and I were really trying and then I'm just like, you.
[35:07] Speaker 2: Know what, that's the thing about me? I got so
[35:09] Speaker 2: mine literally was luck like I was on the Bachelor
[35:12] Speaker 2: at the right time, influencing, merged with that at the
[35:16] Speaker 2: right time, and it just.
[35:19] Speaker 3: I but you're likable, you're funny.
[35:23] Speaker 2: I've been able to maintain it. I've been able to
[35:25] Speaker 2: maintain like having that career and lifestyle. But I'm saying
[35:30] Speaker 2: how it happened. I didn't grow it from nothing, right,
[35:33] Speaker 2: And that's so hard. I think people don't realize if
[35:36] Speaker 2: everyone could do it, everyone would do it.
[35:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so true. If everybody could do it, everybody
[35:40] Speaker 1: would do it.
[35:41] Speaker 2: I'm speaking of social media. I want to what, what
[35:43] Speaker 2: are you going to talk about?
[35:44] Speaker 3: Well, you look sad, so what are you going to
[35:46] Speaker 3: I want to talk about this breakup?
[35:47] Speaker 2: Oh, okay, let's do it when we come back.
[35:49] Speaker 3: Okay, we're back, We're back.
[36:13] Speaker 1: So it's not breaking news because it's happened not that
[36:18] Speaker 1: long ago, a few days ago. But Landria and Nick
[36:23] Speaker 1: from Love Island USA Season seven announced they're split.
[36:30] Speaker 3: And I told you this. Oh wait, they were the
[36:34] Speaker 3: runners up on season seven? Who won Season seven?
[36:39] Speaker 2: Amaya Papaya.
[36:40] Speaker 1: Oh that's right, that's right, that's right, that's right. Yeah,
[36:42] Speaker 1: so they were runners up. I didn't believe this relationship
[36:46] Speaker 1: from the beginning. I thought it was not real from
[36:50] Speaker 1: the beginning. This breakup did not shock me.
[36:54] Speaker 3: I was waiting for it.
[36:55] Speaker 1: However, I would like to say props to Landria and
[37:01] Speaker 1: Nick for keeping the charade going for a year, because
[37:05] Speaker 1: nothing irks me more as a Love Island fan than
[37:10] Speaker 1: these couples that break up like two weeks after they
[37:12] Speaker 1: leave the villa.
[37:13] Speaker 3: Yeah, so even if it was a charade.
[37:15] Speaker 1: And they were just playing us, I applaud it.
[37:18] Speaker 2: Okay, claps for Nick and Orlandria.
[37:22] Speaker 1: Yes, honestly because remember last well you don't watch the UK,
[37:25] Speaker 1: but Sammy and uh what does nuts the guy who
[37:29] Speaker 1: won with her last season, they broke up literally like
[37:32] Speaker 1: weeks after leaving the villa and they won. They won
[37:34] Speaker 1: the season, so did Amya Pathaya and Brian.
[37:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, but they were like not even real.
[37:40] Speaker 2: Oh but Samy and they were like legit.
[37:44] Speaker 1: They were dating like half of the season. They were together.
[37:47] Speaker 1: They were like such a strong couple. So anyways, I
[37:52] Speaker 1: never believe that they were a couple, but I'm happy
[37:54] Speaker 1: that they gave they they put in the work.
[37:58] Speaker 2: They said, we can do one year of this.
[38:00] Speaker 3: Yeah, like we're friends. That's the thing. They were friends.
[38:02] Speaker 3: I think it was just like a friendship.
[38:03] Speaker 2: I didn't follow their relationships so closely, so I only
[38:07] Speaker 2: saw photos of them if it got picked up where
[38:09] Speaker 2: people were posting clips of them somewhere, but it was
[38:11] Speaker 2: always at events. I never just saw like shots of
[38:13] Speaker 2: them like at home, like menapasta, not domesticated. Never images. Yeah,
[38:19] Speaker 2: but again I didn't follow it super closely. But I
[38:22] Speaker 2: liked that they were like we're ending and Bryce and
[38:26] Speaker 2: Trinity are beginning. That's why I thought that model the
[38:30] Speaker 2: model guy, the model boyfriend with the stunning DJ.
[38:34] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I did see that Melanie and Sincere
[38:41] Speaker 2: were spotted out together recently in LA, which I thought
[38:46] Speaker 2: they had I just assume maybe they broke up to
[38:48] Speaker 2: but they were hanging out. Yeah, Haley is watching, like
[38:53] Speaker 2: and when I say watching, she's skimming through Love Island
[38:55] Speaker 2: UK this season.
[38:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't skim through. It's so good a.
[39:00] Speaker 2: Boring, Like, I mean, it's so many conversations, and.
[39:04] Speaker 1: I know, I actually think about all the time the
[39:07] Speaker 1: editors of that show and like how many boring conversations
[39:10] Speaker 1: they have to watch to get like these little clips
[39:12] Speaker 1: to put into an hour episode every single day.
[39:16] Speaker 2: No, they're really the MVPs.
[39:18] Speaker 3: Yeah that do that.
[39:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, and Ian him having the voiceovers.
[39:22] Speaker 3: I watched one of his, Like, I changed.
[39:23] Speaker 2: My tune on Ian because I used to be like
[39:25] Speaker 2: so I found him. It was the reason why I
[39:27] Speaker 2: wouldn't watch the show. I found him so irritating, and
[39:30] Speaker 2: I've changed. I laugh out loud.
[39:32] Speaker 3: I think he's so funny. Sometimes his jokes don't hit,
[39:34] Speaker 3: but like you can't get a hundred, you know, oh,
[39:37] Speaker 3: night after night, Yeah, you can't bat a hundred. But
[39:40] Speaker 3: the ones that hit are very good.
[39:41] Speaker 2: But Haley's like, where's the host of this show? Why
[39:44] Speaker 2: is there no host? Because Ariana comes in for every
[39:47] Speaker 2: coupling and everything.
[39:48] Speaker 1: So I had the same thoughts. Apparently she was shooting
[39:53] Speaker 1: Trader's UK or.
[39:55] Speaker 2: Something like she's all contestant.
[39:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, like they're doing like a celebrity version and she's
[39:59] Speaker 1: she was like shooting, So that's why she was like gone, booked, yeah,
[40:02] Speaker 1: booked and busy Maya Jama. But she's back, she comes back.
[40:06] Speaker 1: She's been back the past couple of weeks, but it's
[40:09] Speaker 1: almost over. I have like not very many episodes. Well yeah,
[40:13] Speaker 1: and I'm so sad.
[40:14] Speaker 2: So she got through about six episodes last night just
[40:16] Speaker 2: skimming through.
[40:18] Speaker 3: She can't scam.
[40:19] Speaker 2: She's pretty easy to skim. Me figure things out pretty
[40:21] Speaker 2: quick when you're not watching it, like one episode at
[40:24] Speaker 2: a time.
[40:24] Speaker 1: It's I know, I know, but I will say that,
[40:27] Speaker 1: like this season of Love Island UK has been top
[40:30] Speaker 1: tier entertainment for me personally.
[40:32] Speaker 2: I told her you said that, so her expectations are high.
[40:35] Speaker 3: It should be okay.
[40:38] Speaker 2: I wanted to talk since we're talking about dating. Do
[40:41] Speaker 2: you consider liking an Instagram post is cheating?
[40:44] Speaker 3: Yes?
[40:45] Speaker 1: Really, I mean no, but kinda, but like, I don't
[40:49] Speaker 1: think it's innocent.
[40:50] Speaker 3: I don't think it's nice.
[40:52] Speaker 1: If there's like a thirst trap the squirrel has like
[40:54] Speaker 1: her boobs out and her butt out, and Robbie was
[40:56] Speaker 1: to like it, I'd be like, what are you doing?
[40:57] Speaker 2: Right? So it's totally on the basis of how much
[41:01] Speaker 2: skin is exposed, yes, yeah, but otherwise it's fine.
[41:05] Speaker 3: Mm depends on the girl.
[41:09] Speaker 2: Wow, all those gut do you have a mic? Can
[41:12] Speaker 2: we turn you on super disrespectful no matter no matter
[41:16] Speaker 2: what it is. Well, back to your point, if it's
[41:20] Speaker 2: like boobs but out, totally that's out of the question
[41:24] Speaker 2: like that is just you have an intention and it's
[41:26] Speaker 2: not good.
[41:27] Speaker 3: Why you don't think it's cheating.
[41:29] Speaker 2: That that I I don't know that. I would say
[41:32] Speaker 2: it's cheating, but I think.
[41:33] Speaker 1: She's super extreme extreme word, but I would conversation.
[41:39] Speaker 2: But what so you? But you said it's not always
[41:43] Speaker 2: if it's the skin skin.
[41:45] Speaker 5: I have a boyfriend of year, okay, and I see
[41:48] Speaker 5: him like girls that I don't know. If it's girlfriends
[41:51] Speaker 5: that I know, yeah, I'll be like, Okay, I get it,
[41:55] Speaker 5: like we both know her. But if it's a girl
[41:58] Speaker 5: that I don't know, I'm not crazy about it.
[42:02] Speaker 2: That's so true though, because why is he liking a
[42:05] Speaker 2: girl that you don't know?
[42:06] Speaker 3: What do you ever see?
[42:11] Speaker 2: No things you don't know, No like other chefs and stuff.
[42:16] Speaker 1: Robie would never he's near of a silent. He's very
[42:20] Speaker 1: engaged our watcher. Yeah, he's very engaged with our friends,
[42:23] Speaker 1: and he'll engage with like all of our friend's content.
[42:25] Speaker 1: But outside of that, he's not like.
[42:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, I think if I saw like a really like
[42:30] Speaker 2: a hot girl and I didn't know her, and I
[42:33] Speaker 2: saw Haley like she liked it, I'd be like, who
[42:37] Speaker 2: is she?
[42:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird.
[42:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I'm not. I'm not that chill. I used
[42:42] Speaker 2: to be chill, and I'm not that chill.
[42:46] Speaker 3: So weird to me, but that you're not chill like
[42:49] Speaker 3: that what.
[42:50] Speaker 2: It used to be chill? Is it? I really wasn't
[42:53] Speaker 2: that chill with Robert either, Like really, Yeah, he'd go
[42:56] Speaker 2: on trips with all these like bikini models and stuff
[42:58] Speaker 2: and if I didn't want to, but he was an agent,
[43:01] Speaker 2: so like he was. And honestly, I never once doubted
[43:05] Speaker 2: that anything or I never thought anything was happening. But
[43:07] Speaker 2: it was just like this guy that I'm dating is
[43:10] Speaker 2: around all these hot models, right staying in the same
[43:14] Speaker 2: like house or wherever they are, you know. Yeah, So
[43:17] Speaker 2: I grew some thick skin through that, and then it
[43:20] Speaker 2: got weaker and we got weakened again when I met Haley.
[43:23] Speaker 3: Is Hailey like Rando's on Instagram? No, no, no.
[43:27] Speaker 2: She loves she Last night was watching this family who
[43:30] Speaker 2: lives in like the forest and eats fruit off the tree.
[43:32] Speaker 2: So that's kind of her. Her algorithm makes me feel
[43:36] Speaker 2: very safe with very safe. Yeah, and I'm mostly just
[43:40] Speaker 2: like watching like pranks or people. Okay, we had this
[43:44] Speaker 2: conversation the other day, but I if someone is okay, like,
[43:49] Speaker 2: I know they're okay, went after the fact. I think
[43:51] Speaker 2: it's so funny when people post videos of someone falling,
[43:54] Speaker 2: like if they're walking on ice or something like with
[43:57] Speaker 2: that Love Island challenge where they were having to run
[43:59] Speaker 2: on that slip bring Matt, I was almost crying laughing.
[44:04] Speaker 2: I think it's so funny when it's again when they're
[44:06] Speaker 2: not injured. Haley, I'll show her a video that I
[44:09] Speaker 2: think is so funny and she's like, oh, like, I
[44:12] Speaker 2: don't like that. I know you're the same way.
[44:14] Speaker 3: I don't really like that either.
[44:16] Speaker 2: So we were with her friends yesterday and we were
[44:19] Speaker 2: celebrating her friend Monica's birthday, and I was I brought
[44:22] Speaker 2: this up, and all her friends are like, oh my god,
[44:24] Speaker 2: I die laughing at videos of people following, and I
[44:27] Speaker 2: was like, oh, this makes me feel so much better.
[44:29] Speaker 2: Because both Tanya and Haley don't like pranks and they
[44:33] Speaker 2: don't like when people fall or get hurt. I don't
[44:36] Speaker 2: like when people get hurt, but I love like a
[44:38] Speaker 2: compilation of people slipping on ice or something.
[44:42] Speaker 1: Speaking of this is so right, just because you said
[44:44] Speaker 1: yesterday and I remember what I did yesterday pottery?
[44:48] Speaker 3: No, have you seen the movie The Invite?
[44:50] Speaker 2: No? But I'm curious about it.
[44:53] Speaker 1: It is so freaking funny, so freaking funny funny. It
[44:59] Speaker 1: is so freak funny. Okay, you need to see it,
[45:03] Speaker 1: and we need to discuss it. It's like really just
[45:05] Speaker 1: gonna fall flat if I just like sit here talk
[45:07] Speaker 1: about it.
[45:08] Speaker 2: And I don't want spoilers, so.
[45:10] Speaker 1: Okay, I'm not gonna you spoilers. But there's it's it's
[45:15] Speaker 1: also very like real, you know what I mean. Like
[45:17] Speaker 1: there's like so much realness about like relationships and marriage
[45:20] Speaker 1: and like just being with somebody for a long time,
[45:23] Speaker 1: and there's something about that that's so sad to me.
[45:25] Speaker 1: Like I'm like, I don't want to see people in
[45:27] Speaker 1: like a sad, horrible marriage, do you know what I mean? Yeah,
[45:31] Speaker 1: Like there's something so I'm like, I have mixed feelings
[45:33] Speaker 1: on it because like I haven't laughed that hard in
[45:35] Speaker 1: a movie theater in a long time. Like it is
[45:39] Speaker 1: so funny and they're comedic timing. Like to me, to
[45:42] Speaker 1: have that type of banter with Seth Rogan and Olivia Wilde,
[45:45] Speaker 1: to have that dynamic is very hard, and I feel
[45:49] Speaker 1: like they did it so perfectly, like literally laughing out loud,
[45:52] Speaker 1: but also with this like undertone of just yes.
[45:56] Speaker 3: And I don't think I like that.
[46:00] Speaker 2: Seem like you do?
[46:01] Speaker 3: I love yah.
[46:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. It's really it's like it's a tough
[46:05] Speaker 1: pickle that I'm in because I did find it so hilarious,
[46:09] Speaker 1: but also just like so sad and like I get
[46:12] Speaker 1: in the car and I internalize everything, and Robi's like, Babe,
[46:16] Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with us.
[46:17] Speaker 3: And I know.
[46:18] Speaker 1: I'm like God, and I go, I know, but we're
[46:20] Speaker 1: married and I don't ever want to become that, and
[46:22] Speaker 1: He's like, we're not going to and I'm like, but
[46:24] Speaker 1: I don't think they thought that they would become that,
[46:26] Speaker 1: you know, Like I internalize.
[46:28] Speaker 2: Oh, you like to make an effort in our marriage,
[46:31] Speaker 2: you know.
[46:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's I.
[46:32] Speaker 2: Think the key is if you get comfortable and let
[46:35] Speaker 2: it that happen, it happens.
[46:36] Speaker 3: I know.
[46:37] Speaker 1: But like with this couple in the movie, it just
[46:39] Speaker 1: like happened so slowly and then over time it just
[46:43] Speaker 1: you're strangers.
[46:46] Speaker 2: Thank you for ending the podcast on such a high note. Sorry, guys, No,
[46:54] Speaker 2: it's okay. I mean I'm gonna I want to go
[46:57] Speaker 2: see it. Oh, I was gonna say I did pottery
[46:59] Speaker 2: yesterday like a seram. Yeah, I'm so bad at it,
[47:02] Speaker 2: Like I'm just not watching the girl, the girl that
[47:05] Speaker 2: was like our teacher do it and everything she did
[47:07] Speaker 2: it was perfect, and then I'd be like, Okay, I've
[47:11] Speaker 2: tried to do it and just tough. But I kind
[47:15] Speaker 2: of I've been thinking about it this morning because at
[47:18] Speaker 2: first I was like, I don't think I need to
[47:19] Speaker 2: do it again, because I would, And that's my mentality
[47:21] Speaker 2: on everything. If I'm not immediately good at something, I'm
[47:24] Speaker 2: just like, oh, I don't think I want to do
[47:25] Speaker 2: it again.
[47:25] Speaker 3: And I'm like, what are you going to do? Make
[47:26] Speaker 3: pottery for like your house?
[47:28] Speaker 2: Yeah? Like what if I made plates for us? Like
[47:30] Speaker 2: how gorgeous if I got good at it and gifts,
[47:33] Speaker 2: the gifts I could make.
[47:34] Speaker 3: For Ooh the gifts I'd love to get that gift.
[47:37] Speaker 2: Well, I won't give you one. How on that, I'll
[47:41] Speaker 2: get you your toat socks and your dish gloves and
[47:44] Speaker 2: be on my merry way making beautiful pottery for others. Robbie,
[47:49] Speaker 2: I'll make him beautiful plates that he can plate his
[47:51] Speaker 2: beautiful food on. Yeah, anyways, So I was like, I
[47:56] Speaker 2: need to change my mentality on if I had a
[47:59] Speaker 2: good time doing so something even though I wasn't good
[48:01] Speaker 2: at it, If I can practice and get good at it,
[48:03] Speaker 2: what's the worst that can happen?
[48:04] Speaker 3: I agree, I think practice makes perfect.
[48:06] Speaker 2: I'm gonna on a positive note, yes, practice everything, Practice
[48:11] Speaker 2: letting go of control, practice working on your marriage and relationship.
[48:17] Speaker 2: Practice things you're not immediately good at. And I'm gonna
[48:21] Speaker 2: leave you all with that. But we will be back
[48:23] Speaker 2: on Thursday for a Dear Bonia episode where we might
[48:27] Speaker 2: play another game where I beat Tanya. I don't know
[48:30] Speaker 2: hard hard to say.
[48:31] Speaker 1: I've been reading the Facebook. We'll get into it on Thursday.
[48:34] Speaker 2: Okay, okay, We'll be back on Thursday. And we love
[48:36] Speaker 2: you so much, love you, Bye bye.
