[0:04] Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:10] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are.
[0:15] Speaker 3: We are screw rubbing.
[0:18] Speaker 2: What happened?
[0:19] Speaker 4: That was my fault. I'm sorry.
[0:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, our engineer is.
[0:23] Speaker 4: I apologize anything.
[0:26] Speaker 2: I'm raw dogging to it.
[0:28] Speaker 3: Let's just leave it. Tanya doesn't have headphones in. It's fine.
[0:34] Speaker 3: We're scrubbing in.
[0:35] Speaker 2: We are screw rubbing about us.
[0:36] Speaker 3: We can swivel, pivot.
[0:40] Speaker 2: Pivot on the flash of a dime. Yep.
[0:44] Speaker 3: Yeah. I was laughing at our episode with Haley and
[0:47] Speaker 3: I said, and ticket sales are on sale.
[0:50] Speaker 2: Now you're nervous.
[0:53] Speaker 3: I don't. I go Haley, I think you made me nervous.
[0:55] Speaker 3: I think she did. Yeah, she does not making me nervous.
[1:00] Speaker 3: You blush a little bit.
[1:02] Speaker 2: How you doing, dude?
[1:04] Speaker 3: Good? Hoiden, I'm good, just fresh off of the three
[1:08] Speaker 3: day weekend.
[1:09] Speaker 2: Md w mm hmmmmm.
[1:11] Speaker 3: Then what did you do?
[1:12] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
[1:13] Speaker 5: Well, first things first, I don't know when to get
[1:15] Speaker 5: into this, but the Survivor finale was crazy.
[1:21] Speaker 6: I'd be careful because there are people that do not
[1:24] Speaker 6: want to know who won who out.
[1:26] Speaker 2: There has not seen.
[1:27] Speaker 6: I don't know who won, and I'm being very careful
[1:29] Speaker 6: about that.
[1:30] Speaker 2: That Yeah, that's right, that's right there.
[1:33] Speaker 3: At this point, there's no this is crazy.
[1:39] Speaker 6: Do you want to talk about it because I can
[1:40] Speaker 6: walk out of the room. Well, yeah, let me know
[1:46] Speaker 6: when you're done.
[1:47] Speaker 5: I won't spoil it.
[1:48] Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you kind of what happens.
[1:50] Speaker 6: I want to hear about being there. That's just no names.
[1:54] Speaker 5: Okay, sure, sure, great, And then when I say names,
[1:57] Speaker 5: I'll tell you to vacate the premise.
[1:58] Speaker 3: Okay.
[1:59] Speaker 5: So oh, this is the first Survivor finale that they've
[2:02] Speaker 5: had since the pandemic, so pre Pandy. This is no
[2:05] Speaker 5: live sorry Live finale. Yeah.
[2:08] Speaker 2: And so.
[2:10] Speaker 5: We were there with the Pod meets World boys.
[2:13] Speaker 6: I do enjoy those boys.
[2:14] Speaker 3: Are you strong? Yes?
[2:17] Speaker 4: And will Fredell?
[2:18] Speaker 3: Yes?
[2:19] Speaker 5: And they were really cute and sweet and we were
[2:22] Speaker 5: all on the same road together. So we show up.
[2:25] Speaker 5: It's like basically it's filming is from five to eight pm.
[2:29] Speaker 5: Check in is from two thirty to four thirty. And
[2:33] Speaker 5: I was like, babe, I need we need to get
[2:34] Speaker 5: there like as early as possible because they scare you.
[2:36] Speaker 5: They're like, if you're not in your seats by four
[2:37] Speaker 5: forty five, like your seats are gone. And I was like,
[2:40] Speaker 5: if there's a long line, like the last thing I
[2:42] Speaker 5: want to do is like show up again, show up
[2:44] Speaker 5: in white, get kicked out, show up late, get kicked out.
[2:46] Speaker 5: Like that's not what I want.
[2:48] Speaker 2: So we pick up Sabby from school, pick them up early.
[2:51] Speaker 5: Go.
[2:52] Speaker 2: We're like the first ones there.
[2:54] Speaker 5: They check you in, they put you in like kind
[2:56] Speaker 5: of like a holding room where there's like water and
[2:58] Speaker 5: like some snacks, et cetera. We are Ding Dong's and
[3:03] Speaker 5: we were in the press line and there was like
[3:05] Speaker 5: press badges, but I wasn't like press, like.
[3:07] Speaker 2: I wasn't doing interviews, so I didn't think to.
[3:09] Speaker 3: You were a fan.
[3:10] Speaker 5: I was a fan fan first, so I didn't think
[3:13] Speaker 5: to grab the press badge. Had we grab the press badges,
[3:17] Speaker 5: we could have gone to the carpet where Boston Rob was,
[3:20] Speaker 5: where all the contestants were. They were doing fun like
[3:23] Speaker 5: games like the Survivor games for people.
[3:27] Speaker 3: How did you know I was there?
[3:30] Speaker 5: I realized it as I was watching social media and
[3:33] Speaker 5: I was like, oh, that's where that's I think where
[3:38] Speaker 5: we were meant to go. So that was a sad realization. However,
[3:43] Speaker 5: it did not damper our our time because we we
[3:46] Speaker 5: show over with the We were the first ones to
[3:48] Speaker 5: enter the whole like thing.
[3:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, it was pretty cute. Robably got a video.
[3:53] Speaker 6: It's not Television City anyway.
[3:55] Speaker 2: It was the Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
[3:57] Speaker 6: Oh cool.
[3:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, but listen to how crazy this is.
[3:59] Speaker 5: Every single chair in the auditorium fourteen hundred people had
[4:03] Speaker 5: our name on it. Oh wow, like every chair was
[4:05] Speaker 5: accounted for.
[4:07] Speaker 6: Those are some busy.
[4:10] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[4:11] Speaker 4: Yeah, did you spy any name, any exciting names when
[4:14] Speaker 4: you're walking in?
[4:14] Speaker 5: Yes? So there were like past survivor contestants like sitting
[4:18] Speaker 5: around us that we were excited about.
[4:20] Speaker 2: Some of them were on the.
[4:20] Speaker 5: Show Traders, and so like that was like fun to
[4:23] Speaker 5: kind of see. So everybody files in and basically during
[4:28] Speaker 5: so what they do is they show like the stuff
[4:30] Speaker 5: that they aired in Fiji, and then they cut to
[4:33] Speaker 5: live present moment finale. Right, so like you're all watching
[4:37] Speaker 5: a show on a screen that happened in Fiji a
[4:40] Speaker 5: year ago. But then Jeff Probes is live in studio
[4:43] Speaker 5: with you, doing some stuff with certain contestants that have been.
[4:47] Speaker 6: Right in and out of commercials and out of commercials.
[4:49] Speaker 5: Correct, So it's like kind of live but also kind
[4:51] Speaker 5: of taped. Okay, okay, you might want to leave the premise.
[4:55] Speaker 6: Okay, thank you very much. I'll see you.
[4:56] Speaker 5: So actually want I won't use So we're watching the show. Okay,
[5:02] Speaker 5: now we're down to the final four, no names, final four.
[5:06] Speaker 5: But what they do at the final four is to
[5:08] Speaker 5: go in to the final three and then the other
[5:11] Speaker 5: two make fire and it's like this like competition. They
[5:14] Speaker 5: make fire, whoever burns the thing, and then the flag
[5:16] Speaker 5: goes out. They go to the final three. Okay, so
[5:19] Speaker 5: we're watching we know, we now see and they make
[5:23] Speaker 5: this whole story arc out of it. This person doesn't
[5:26] Speaker 5: know how to make fire, but then they're getting taught
[5:27] Speaker 5: how to make fire, and that's gonna be like this
[5:29] Speaker 5: big comeback and you're like whoa. So we see them
[5:32] Speaker 5: go in cuts to commercial or cuts to live. Jeff
[5:36] Speaker 5: Probes walks out. He brings out one of the people
[5:39] Speaker 5: who's in the live fire making contest, and in my mind,
[5:43] Speaker 5: I'm like, this feels risky. This is a contestant. They're
[5:46] Speaker 5: not media trained, they don't know what they're gonna say.
[5:49] Speaker 2: What if they blow it?
[5:50] Speaker 5: You know, and then surely they're gonna bring out the
[5:52] Speaker 5: second person making fire right after to interview them. Jeff says,
[5:57] Speaker 5: and now here's your final member of the jury and
[6:01] Speaker 5: has him sit down, and we're all like, like, everybody's
[6:05] Speaker 5: like looking around, like we didn't see that. We didn't
[6:08] Speaker 5: see him lose, So we're all freaking out, like what's
[6:11] Speaker 5: going on? And then Jeff goes what just happened, Like
[6:15] Speaker 5: what what have you guys seen? And so everybody's like,
[6:17] Speaker 5: we don't know who won, and all the people in
[6:19] Speaker 5: the juries and they're like they didn't see them do fire.
[6:23] Speaker 3: So then they come, you haven't seen the news like
[6:28] Speaker 3: this is a sideline.
[6:30] Speaker 6: Jeff Probes accidentally reveals winners that stay far away from
[6:33] Speaker 6: that story.
[6:34] Speaker 5: I know have chills thinking about it because it was
[6:36] Speaker 5: so we're like, surely this.
[6:38] Speaker 2: Is not live, Like this is crazy.
[6:41] Speaker 5: They just spoil like it's a spoiler in like the
[6:43] Speaker 5: biggest episode of the whatever. We go on social media
[6:47] Speaker 5: to check, and sure enough, people in New York were
[6:49] Speaker 5: posting like what just happened, Oh yeah, phones, yeah, that's.
[6:54] Speaker 3: The age of social media. They want you to hire.
[6:57] Speaker 5: They they put him on airplane mode, which I'm probably
[6:59] Speaker 5: the only or that did. But I was like, I
[7:02] Speaker 5: was getting a lot of amber alerts that day because
[7:04] Speaker 5: they was like and I was like, if my phone
[7:06] Speaker 5: goes off and I get kicked out again, I was like,
[7:08] Speaker 5: I just want to stay in here.
[7:10] Speaker 3: Amber alerts for fires, just like to maybe read those
[7:16] Speaker 3: every No anyway.
[7:19] Speaker 5: Anyways, justids the point I put my phone on on
[7:22] Speaker 5: a airplane mode like a loser, and so we're like,
[7:26] Speaker 5: oh my gosh, Like it was like such a crazy thing.
[7:28] Speaker 5: So then I guess they cut to commercial and uh,
[7:33] Speaker 5: Jeff comes out and he's like asking the audience like
[7:35] Speaker 5: what just like he had no idea.
[7:37] Speaker 2: So then like they think on their feet so fast.
[7:39] Speaker 5: They come back and Jeff is like, you know, season
[7:42] Speaker 5: fifty in the hands of the fans, we're doing things differently.
[7:45] Speaker 5: So now we're going to show you fire because we
[7:50] Speaker 5: just spoiled it for you. So here we are watching,
[7:52] Speaker 5: you know, like the way they pivoted it was like
[7:55] Speaker 5: we're gonna we're going to tell you what happens before
[7:59] Speaker 5: it happens about it.
[8:01] Speaker 6: Yeah, changing it out this year, Yeah, I wonder if
[8:03] Speaker 6: they changed it for the West Coast broadcast or for
[8:05] Speaker 6: the Paramount plus Stream.
[8:07] Speaker 5: Well, I don't know.
[8:08] Speaker 4: People were like, I did. I think they fit, Like
[8:10] Speaker 4: I think they left all that in.
[8:11] Speaker 5: Wow, they must have, because there's no way you can
[8:13] Speaker 5: flip it around that fast. And then they started they
[8:15] Speaker 5: wove it in through the rest of the show like
[8:17] Speaker 5: making like poking fun of it. But what I found
[8:20] Speaker 5: interesting is like people were like, I can't believe Jeff Probes.
[8:23] Speaker 5: He's such a pro how did he make that big mistake?
[8:25] Speaker 5: And I'm like, that's not Jeff Probes. That's literally like
[8:27] Speaker 5: they had all the seats out for the jury, like those.
[8:31] Speaker 2: Are all segmented in blocks. Those are producers people.
[8:34] Speaker 5: Jeff's not watching the show back live. He's just worried
[8:36] Speaker 5: about the next thing he has to hit. That's like
[8:39] Speaker 5: a lot of people that had to fail to make
[8:42] Speaker 5: that happen, like a lot.
[8:44] Speaker 6: That's nuts.
[8:46] Speaker 2: So anyways, it was crazy.
[8:49] Speaker 5: It was like total maham and I feel so honored
[8:51] Speaker 5: that I was there to witness it.
[8:52] Speaker 3: It's iconic. It was iconic.
[8:55] Speaker 5: It was iconic. And then and then they revealed the winner.
[9:01] Speaker 5: Were you happy?
[9:01] Speaker 3: Were you happy with the winners?
[9:03] Speaker 6: So not really I'm scared right now, but you're going
[9:07] Speaker 6: to say a gender or something.
[9:10] Speaker 5: What was left? I'm happy with the winner. Oh with
[9:12] Speaker 5: what was left, yes, like it wouldn't have been my choice,
[9:15] Speaker 5: but with what was given to me in the finale.
[9:18] Speaker 5: I'm happy with who was given.
[9:20] Speaker 3: And not what. That's not giving anything away.
[9:27] Speaker 2: Season given?
[9:30] Speaker 5: Okay, well great, yeah, excellent season. I'm I also heard
[9:33] Speaker 5: that a scrubber, a big scrubber, is in season fifty one.
[9:37] Speaker 7: Alert.
[9:39] Speaker 5: Yes, I don't know which one she is one hundred
[9:42] Speaker 5: percent yet, but I saw the trailer.
[9:44] Speaker 6: And I haven't.
[9:44] Speaker 5: I have a hunch.
[9:46] Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, that's crazy crazy, how exciting?
[9:50] Speaker 5: So exciting?
[9:51] Speaker 3: When does that begin?
[9:54] Speaker 2: Once a year they do?
[9:56] Speaker 3: Ye?
[9:57] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[9:58] Speaker 6: What are they doing for fifty one? Because they got
[9:59] Speaker 6: to do something different, don't they?
[10:01] Speaker 3: No?
[10:01] Speaker 2: I think you mean, I think fifty one is going
[10:03] Speaker 2: to be new.
[10:03] Speaker 6: People understood, but they got to do a whole new
[10:06] Speaker 6: I guess it's the new era, another new era starting
[10:08] Speaker 6: because after fifty if.
[10:10] Speaker 2: Release something different.
[10:11] Speaker 5: Yeah, it seemed similar, run of the mill Survivor. But
[10:16] Speaker 5: but I do think they're going to be bringing people
[10:18] Speaker 5: back more because I think people really enjoy seeing yeah,
[10:20] Speaker 5: other people come back.
[10:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but only if it's a it would they
[10:26] Speaker 3: bring people back from previous seasons with just random people
[10:29] Speaker 3: that are there for the first time that has happened before.
[10:33] Speaker 2: Yeah, I really really that's a little advantage.
[10:36] Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree, but it could be a disadvantage because
[10:38] Speaker 6: you're gonn want to get that person out because they
[10:40] Speaker 6: already know yes, correct.
[10:42] Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like, what's the point.
[10:43] Speaker 6: Yeah, I like seeing old players come back.
[10:47] Speaker 3: Did you ever do Survivor?
[10:48] Speaker 6: Mark, No, couldn't. It'd be terrible. I mean, it's fun
[10:52] Speaker 6: to think about, but in reality never Yeah.
[10:54] Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't mean that. I don't think I can.
[10:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I can't do kidding me, I.
[11:01] Speaker 3: Just don't have to see if anyone was still an
[11:03] Speaker 3: extra confidence today. See.
[11:05] Speaker 5: And I do feel like the new era Survivor is
[11:07] Speaker 5: a little bit like I'm like, people are wearing like
[11:09] Speaker 5: sports coats and stuff like back in the day. Like
[11:12] Speaker 5: back in the day it was brutal, like they had
[11:15] Speaker 5: bug bites all over then, like they.
[11:17] Speaker 2: Looked withered, weathered and withered.
[11:21] Speaker 5: Now I feel like it's a little less intense of
[11:24] Speaker 5: the surviving.
[11:26] Speaker 6: So do you see their legs every time they sit
[11:28] Speaker 6: for an interview, their legs are torn up.
[11:30] Speaker 2: The feet, the feet gets are really dark.
[11:34] Speaker 5: I'm like, why I can't handle it.
[11:38] Speaker 3: It's just showing that things are legit bad out there.
[11:40] Speaker 5: Yeah, but I have to say it was like such
[11:42] Speaker 5: a core life memory and uh, really really cool.
[11:47] Speaker 3: That's amazing. I mean, what a dream getting to go
[11:50] Speaker 3: to a live show of your live viewing of your
[11:52] Speaker 3: favorite show. Like my biggest loss is not getting to
[11:55] Speaker 3: go to a friends recording since they did that, but
[11:59] Speaker 3: you can say that you got to see one of
[12:00] Speaker 3: your favorite shows live.
[12:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'll be back if they do it the press.
[12:04] Speaker 3: Bad and she won't bring it her press bad. Yeah.
[12:07] Speaker 5: I wonder if they're gonna keep doing the finales live
[12:09] Speaker 5: from now on or if they were like.
[12:12] Speaker 3: That was a lot. Yeah, I don't know.
[12:15] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[12:15] Speaker 5: But between that Off Campus and and Love Island coming
[12:19] Speaker 5: back next week, like I am Heaven, I.
[12:23] Speaker 3: Did start off Campus and the first two episode, like
[12:28] Speaker 3: I was, I was about to just never trust anyone
[12:31] Speaker 3: again with TV shows because I was like, it wasn't
[12:34] Speaker 3: so much that they were that bad. It wasn't the
[12:36] Speaker 3: worst show I've ever seen, but it was that it
[12:39] Speaker 3: was the hype that I was like, alright, is the
[12:43] Speaker 3: bar on the ground, like, what's happening? But it's gotten
[12:45] Speaker 3: so much better.
[12:46] Speaker 2: Have you finished?
[12:47] Speaker 3: No, I'm still on episode six. I haven't started it,
[12:51] Speaker 3: but that's where i'm starting, So.
[12:53] Speaker 2: So you still have six, seven, and eight.
[12:54] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if that's still thing.
[12:58] Speaker 4: I was gonna watch it because everyone's saying it's so good,
[13:00] Speaker 4: and then when I found out it was straight people,
[13:02] Speaker 4: I was.
[13:05] Speaker 3: So good. You said he did rivalry. Who's so? When
[13:08] Speaker 3: you said that on the podcast.
[13:09] Speaker 4: I was like, Oh, I thought it was hockey players
[13:12] Speaker 4: was hockey.
[13:13] Speaker 2: I think it's getting compared to it because it's hockey.
[13:15] Speaker 4: Yeah, Like, I don't want to watch straight people over there.
[13:19] Speaker 3: So here's my my take on it. The well, first,
[13:22] Speaker 3: the music's amazing. I love the music. But you compared
[13:25] Speaker 3: it to a c W show, and the first two
[13:28] Speaker 3: episodes were giving ABC family like, So that's my take.
[13:32] Speaker 5: If you're have you respect, if you disrespect.
[13:37] Speaker 3: Have you started it yet? I would say the first
[13:41] Speaker 3: two episodes, you go in and you're getting introduced to it.
[13:45] Speaker 3: But then once episode three starts, things start picking up.
[13:48] Speaker 3: And I do understand the c W reference because there's
[13:52] Speaker 3: multiple guys that like this girl and they're all like
[13:56] Speaker 3: it is very c w in this s she's kind
[13:59] Speaker 3: of like the musical like artsy girl and these three like.
[14:04] Speaker 5: Hot guys are all pining never was me, and you're like,
[14:09] Speaker 5: never was me and you're always wish it was.
[14:12] Speaker 3: Which one is she gonna choose? Who am I supposed
[14:14] Speaker 3: to be rooting for? So I get that element of
[14:16] Speaker 3: like it, and I think the girl is so cute
[14:18] Speaker 3: And I never realized she was British in real life.
[14:20] Speaker 5: It's crazy when actress have accents like that. I'm like, blow,
[14:23] Speaker 5: that made me feel more impressed by her. Yeah, I
[14:26] Speaker 5: could be more and more impressed with.
[14:27] Speaker 3: Her, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, she I was already
[14:30] Speaker 3: like she's really cute and great actress, but then she
[14:33] Speaker 3: ampted up knowing that she has a British accent. Yeah,
[14:37] Speaker 3: the guys are all very cute. I just can't really
[14:39] Speaker 3: tell what I'm who I'm supposed to Like, where are
[14:42] Speaker 3: my what direction am I supposed to be?
[14:44] Speaker 2: Plain and simple?
[14:45] Speaker 3: Paragram told me it's a two yerne adventure. She's like,
[14:49] Speaker 3: they're all cute, so and they're all seem like nice guys.
[14:52] Speaker 3: You can choose your own adventure unless something happens that
[14:55] Speaker 3: I'm not prepared for. No, nothing happens, but yeah, they
[15:00] Speaker 3: watch it but know that there's no gay gayness. Well
[15:03] Speaker 3: the there's a sister who's non binary, who is Jules
[15:10] Speaker 3: the blonde. Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's no love story around them.
[15:18] Speaker 2: But Jules has no love story.
[15:21] Speaker 4: But they are people don't deserve love.
[15:24] Speaker 2: It's like Gossip Girl essentially.
[15:25] Speaker 3: They are. They are like the social media behind the
[15:29] Speaker 3: hockey team, the lore. Okay, yeah, there you go, Easton.
[15:33] Speaker 5: But if I may give one critique because I'm TV executive,
[15:41] Speaker 5: what I enjoy watching is like the pining, Like I
[15:45] Speaker 5: love the like the yearning, the like are they going
[15:48] Speaker 5: to get together? Are they not? Like is she going
[15:51] Speaker 5: to keep pushing him away? Is he going to keep
[15:52] Speaker 5: fighting for her? Like that's like I love that, And
[15:55] Speaker 5: I feel like we get to the goal pun intended
[16:00] Speaker 5: quite quickly, right, And I could have used like.
[16:05] Speaker 2: A full eight episodes of just the pining.
[16:07] Speaker 3: No, not even eight episodes, but I could have waited.
[16:10] Speaker 5: Till the very last episode of the season to see
[16:13] Speaker 5: they got together.
[16:14] Speaker 3: But That's why I'm curious if something exciting or a
[16:17] Speaker 3: shocking twist happened in the next few episodes because it
[16:19] Speaker 3: felt like there was a bliss so so soon.
[16:23] Speaker 5: I think I was like reading some of the things
[16:25] Speaker 5: that like she had to cut some of the episodes
[16:28] Speaker 5: down because like they don't give ten episode seasons right
[16:32] Speaker 5: off the bat. You prove your prove your groove.
[16:35] Speaker 3: I think she proved it.
[16:36] Speaker 5: Yeah, I think she proved it too.
[16:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, well you're you're not alone. And like I said,
[16:39] Speaker 3: I'm I'm gonna like I'm excited to finish it. So
[16:42] Speaker 3: I'm not I'm not like hate watching it at all.
[16:44] Speaker 2: Okay, for the first two episodes, I was like, oh
[16:47] Speaker 2: my gosh.
[16:48] Speaker 5: The first episode had me in a absolute chokehold.
[16:52] Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't.
[16:54] Speaker 2: And it's so funny.
[16:55] Speaker 5: So Robbie and I we watch all of our TV
[16:57] Speaker 5: shows like together, if we watch something separate after he
[17:00] Speaker 5: goes to sleep or whatever. This is the first time
[17:02] Speaker 5: that he's like kind of like he sits there and
[17:05] Speaker 5: like watches it. And his remarks were I was just like,
[17:08] Speaker 5: get out of here, Like I'll let.
[17:10] Speaker 2: You watch all the sports you want.
[17:11] Speaker 5: I don't talk trash on your hoops and your tall men,
[17:15] Speaker 5: so stay down.
[17:17] Speaker 4: Okay, what's his issue? What's he saying, I.
[17:20] Speaker 5: Mean there's a couple of scenes that are like.
[17:22] Speaker 4: They showed Dick in it, right, Yes, they do.
[17:27] Speaker 5: They do.
[17:28] Speaker 2: Yet when lot of Dick, I've seen the.
[17:31] Speaker 5: Last episode, I think for like second to last episode,
[17:33] Speaker 5: not that I episode eight mini, but I'm not episode
[17:44] Speaker 5: seven or episode eight.
[17:46] Speaker 3: Well, everyone's very cute, and I do I do feel
[17:49] Speaker 3: like the acting and like I said, the music is great,
[17:51] Speaker 3: so I would rate it seven out of ten.
[17:54] Speaker 2: I give it a ten out of ten.
[17:56] Speaker 3: Yes, where does it ring? And in terms of barbecue
[18:01] Speaker 3: brawl so very different, I know, but like in terms
[18:06] Speaker 3: of like being last.
[18:09] Speaker 7: Night, oh my gosh, no spoilers the holidays, does.
[18:14] Speaker 3: You gotta step out? Uh reminder everyone, if you haven't already,
[18:24] Speaker 3: please go buy your Girls Like Girls tickets.
[18:28] Speaker 5: Literally, yeah, we're already on mine.
[18:30] Speaker 3: We got some sold out theaters already, so we got two.
[18:34] Speaker 5: Tickets by the skin of our teeth. This morning, I
[18:38] Speaker 5: went on at like I think it was nine am,
[18:41] Speaker 5: and we're like in one of the first three rows
[18:43] Speaker 5: because it was either like the first three or the
[18:45] Speaker 5: very last row.
[18:47] Speaker 3: That's interesting that you would choose the first three of
[18:49] Speaker 3: the last row.
[18:49] Speaker 2: We want to be as close as possible.
[18:53] Speaker 3: Energy. Yeah, of course, so yeah, go do that. There's
[18:57] Speaker 3: also so she did. This is the first time they've
[18:59] Speaker 3: done this, I think. But you can sign up to
[19:01] Speaker 3: get your own link, and then if depending on how
[19:05] Speaker 3: many tickets you sell, you can win prizes and merchants stuff,
[19:09] Speaker 3: So it's like your own affiliate link. So the winner
[19:11] Speaker 3: I think, I don't know if she's announced, but it's
[19:13] Speaker 3: a really good prize.
[19:14] Speaker 2: Okay, you probably shouldn't spill.
[19:17] Speaker 4: Easton Alan on Instagram if you want to buy your
[19:19] Speaker 4: girls like girls.
[19:20] Speaker 3: Tickets Atilly, So yeah, go do that. I loved our
[19:27] Speaker 3: episode with Haley. It was so cute.
[19:29] Speaker 5: Where's our dance?
[19:30] Speaker 3: I'm gonna post it today.
[19:32] Speaker 5: Yeah, it's go liveing. Okay, So since it is Memorial
[19:37] Speaker 5: Day or well, it just passed, so we're past memorally,
[19:40] Speaker 5: so it's like officially summer. I think we should all
[19:42] Speaker 5: make our predictions because last summer we failed so bad.
[19:45] Speaker 2: What the Song of the Summer is gonna be?
[19:47] Speaker 3: This is my favorite thing that we do, and I
[19:49] Speaker 3: don't think anyone's ever gotten it.
[19:51] Speaker 5: So we take a quick break and we'll be right back.
[20:11] Speaker 3: We're back.
[20:12] Speaker 6: We're by.
[20:14] Speaker 3: Song of the Summer, where we thrive most here it's
[20:18] Speaker 3: scrubbing in finger on the pulse breaking.
[20:24] Speaker 5: I'm not having a very interesting choice, but I'm sticking
[20:29] Speaker 5: by it.
[20:30] Speaker 3: Okay, it's just we're picking one, right.
[20:34] Speaker 5: We're picking one.
[20:35] Speaker 6: Last year we did honorable mentions.
[20:39] Speaker 3: Still no one got it.
[20:40] Speaker 2: But correct, we did an honorable mention.
[20:43] Speaker 3: Yes, we all had to, but that didn't help us
[20:45] Speaker 3: at all. Here's my question is are we it's hard
[20:51] Speaker 3: because there's so many album albums and music that's still
[20:55] Speaker 3: to come. That's very true within the next month or so.
[20:59] Speaker 2: Yes, so I understand.
[21:03] Speaker 5: No, Okay, we can revisit. How about you revisit a
[21:06] Speaker 5: fourth of July weekend.
[21:09] Speaker 3: If we need to switch it up, write that down.
[21:12] Speaker 5: Yeah, but the rule being, you can only add a
[21:17] Speaker 5: song that has been new since Memorial Day.
[21:20] Speaker 3: Oh my god.
[21:21] Speaker 2: This You can only choose a song.
[21:24] Speaker 5: If you want to replace the song you're choosing, you
[21:26] Speaker 5: can only replace it with a since then newer song.
[21:29] Speaker 4: Like if a banger comes out.
[21:31] Speaker 5: In like if you don't pick Harry Styles American Girls Today,
[21:34] Speaker 5: it's gone.
[21:35] Speaker 6: Wow, it's off the table. Ariana's coming to Olivia's going eligible.
[21:40] Speaker 5: Correct.
[21:41] Speaker 2: Mark understands, okay, and he would like to go first.
[21:45] Speaker 6: You are chomping at a bit. I think you should
[21:47] Speaker 6: go first.
[21:48] Speaker 2: So my first choice for Song of the Summer, I
[21:52] Speaker 2: thought it was only one.
[21:53] Speaker 6: Yeah, pending fourth of July alterations.
[21:56] Speaker 5: Will get an honorable mention. Okay, oh yeah, okay, So
[21:59] Speaker 5: my song is going to be bed on fire g flip.
[22:04] Speaker 3: Oh that's a good one though. It's having a moment
[22:06] Speaker 3: on Uh, it was on.
[22:08] Speaker 2: It's so happen.
[22:10] Speaker 5: It's super fun, it feels like summer. It makes me
[22:15] Speaker 5: want to jump around, it makes me feel like I
[22:17] Speaker 5: want to have a popsicle in the pool with the
[22:21] Speaker 5: espresso in my hand. Yes, So that is my choice
[22:25] Speaker 5: for Song of Summer twenty twenty six, with my honorable
[22:29] Speaker 5: mention going to American girls hairy styles.
[22:32] Speaker 6: Wouldn't that have happened by now? If it was going
[22:34] Speaker 6: to happen, I thank.
[22:35] Speaker 5: You Mark for your concern. I think it's going to
[22:38] Speaker 5: grow as he continues to tour.
[22:39] Speaker 3: I think it's going to grow as his hair grows back,
[22:42] Speaker 3: which it is growing back, and I'm enjoying the tour
[22:44] Speaker 3: videos more. Yeah. I'm here to say yeah, and I've
[22:47] Speaker 3: noted the comments really validate my feelings because they're like, Okay,
[22:51] Speaker 3: we're coming, he's coming back, he's heating up, he was
[22:54] Speaker 3: just a little rusty.
[22:57] Speaker 5: Yeah. So those are my that's my pick and my
[23:00] Speaker 5: honorable mention who wants to go second?
[23:03] Speaker 3: Okay, So just clarifying, I can only pick a song
[23:05] Speaker 3: that's currently out.
[23:07] Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I mean you can't.
[23:09] Speaker 3: I've heard Haley's album, so I was gonna say, that's fine.
[23:12] Speaker 5: If you've heard it, that's fine. I'm just like, I
[23:14] Speaker 5: personally would have chosen Ariana Grande perhaps, but I haven't
[23:17] Speaker 5: heard it, so I just feel like I don't want
[23:19] Speaker 5: to speak too soon.
[23:19] Speaker 3: Okay. Mine is gonna be Die for You. It's Hailey
[23:23] Speaker 3: Kyoko featuring Young Miko. It's like makes you want to
[23:27] Speaker 3: be in a it's a very summary and it makes
[23:30] Speaker 3: you want to be like on a beach in Mexico. Okay,
[23:33] Speaker 3: and my honorable mention is going to be Orbiter by Noah.
[23:41] Speaker 5: Con That feels unlikely, so fat chance on that.
[23:47] Speaker 3: Fine, I'll go Midnight sun Zara Larson.
[23:50] Speaker 2: Oh why okay?
[23:51] Speaker 3: I love her? I love her?
[23:57] Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, thanks, Okay, So I think it's having a
[24:04] Speaker 4: moment right now, so I don't know if it's going
[24:05] Speaker 4: to sustain the momentum. But I really think I Choose
[24:08] Speaker 4: in Texas by La Langley can can take us through
[24:11] Speaker 4: those hot months at Mark Mark hates this song.
[24:14] Speaker 6: I'm offended by its existence.
[24:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, Mark hates it.
[24:17] Speaker 6: What is it I heard all about? Oh my gosh,
[24:20] Speaker 6: it's so buzzy this Choose in Texas. Oh my gosh,
[24:22] Speaker 6: it's like crossing over to top Fortyes, so big. So
[24:24] Speaker 6: I'm going to give this a listen. There's never been
[24:27] Speaker 6: a more generic country song I've ever heard in my life.
[24:29] Speaker 6: So I don't understand what the appeal is. It's like
[24:31] Speaker 6: every other country song.
[24:33] Speaker 3: Not it is.
[24:34] Speaker 5: It's not you don't even listen to country, I know.
[24:36] Speaker 5: But every time I hear Choosing Texas, it makes me
[24:38] Speaker 5: want to like put on a cowboy hat, dig my
[24:41] Speaker 5: cowboys shoes.
[24:42] Speaker 6: In, and like that's what country music does.
[24:44] Speaker 3: Not Mark Mark isn't an Lfella clearly not a Langley.
[24:51] Speaker 4: Luke Brian has a song called fish Hunt Golf Drink,
[24:53] Speaker 4: and that, to me is more generic. I think Ella's
[25:02] Speaker 4: got it through the summer. I'm very impressed by what
[25:04] Speaker 4: she's accomplished.
[25:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good that's honestly a good, guess.
[25:07] Speaker 4: And I think in my honorable mention is good. Oh
[25:12] Speaker 4: a Lush Life by Zara Larson which came out in
[25:14] Speaker 4: twenty eighteen and is coming down.
[25:16] Speaker 8: Wow.
[25:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a Zara Larson summer. Yes, if she wants
[25:19] Speaker 3: it to be really.
[25:20] Speaker 6: Really does feel like it is between that and the
[25:22] Speaker 6: State Side. So I would say, first of all, I
[25:25] Speaker 6: think it's actually going to be whatever Olivia Rodrigo has
[25:28] Speaker 6: upper sleeve when this album comes out. But since I
[25:31] Speaker 6: have the big stuff that's already out, you drop Dead,
[25:34] Speaker 6: I don't think it's dropped dead. I drop dead is
[25:36] Speaker 6: already on its way down.
[25:38] Speaker 3: It's dead.
[25:39] Speaker 5: That's not good.
[25:40] Speaker 6: I think it has peaked, but it's coming down. That's
[25:42] Speaker 6: why she released a cure, because that's kind of how
[25:44] Speaker 6: you time it out. But I will say I do
[25:48] Speaker 6: like Homewrecker. I think home Wreckers.
[25:50] Speaker 5: Are really good honestly, so it's like one of my
[25:52] Speaker 5: favorite songs of all time.
[25:54] Speaker 6: Wow, well yeah it is.
[25:59] Speaker 2: Spoiler.
[26:00] Speaker 5: I guess.
[26:03] Speaker 3: I'm like of all time in a specific genre, just
[26:06] Speaker 3: like like.
[26:07] Speaker 5: All the time of my life. I think it is
[26:10] Speaker 5: so earwormy and like it's good.
[26:12] Speaker 6: Chorus is really good.
[26:14] Speaker 5: However, I feel like it's a little old and that's
[26:15] Speaker 5: how Midnight Sun as well. But I'm gonna not take
[26:18] Speaker 5: those away from you, guys.
[26:19] Speaker 6: I'm going to go home wrecker with an honorable mention
[26:21] Speaker 6: of Midnight Sun and saving olivera Drigo for our big
[26:25] Speaker 6: Fourth of July extravaganza.
[26:27] Speaker 3: Wow, I do think Olivia and Arianna are going to
[26:31] Speaker 3: give us some summer bops. I'm didn't get enough recognition
[26:37] Speaker 3: in my and from Ariana Grande. It's is gaving me
[26:42] Speaker 3: the title of it because I can just hear the chorus,
[26:45] Speaker 3: don't you don't No, no, no, it's from her. It's
[26:48] Speaker 3: from recently.
[26:50] Speaker 2: Of recent years.
[26:52] Speaker 3: Wait, I'm so upset. I can't. I can never remember.
[26:56] Speaker 2: It was very memorable.
[26:58] Speaker 3: No I can. It's not like I'm stand over you.
[27:04] Speaker 3: It's so bad the way you made Twilight Zone.
[27:09] Speaker 2: Oh my god, I definitely had I got a lot
[27:11] Speaker 2: of credit. No, it didn't.
[27:17] Speaker 3: I feel like I did not get the credit and deserved.
[27:19] Speaker 3: But I'm glad that. I'm just hoping for more songs
[27:23] Speaker 3: as such. I'm happy for.
[27:28] Speaker 5: Did not get its flowers, actually did, I'm really happy
[27:32] Speaker 5: that deserves them.
[27:34] Speaker 3: I'm sorry that I missed it. Okay, wait, this next
[27:39] Speaker 3: conversation is something that I feel very scene by or
[27:47] Speaker 3: called out for, okay, and it's it's something that millennials
[27:51] Speaker 3: apparently do. And I want to talk about it because
[27:56] Speaker 3: I felt very seen and also exposed. And we'll talk
[28:01] Speaker 3: about it when I come back.
[28:02] Speaker 5: Oh, I wanted to do something else. We get back, Well,
[28:05] Speaker 5: we can do back.
[28:06] Speaker 2: Okay, we're back.
[28:23] Speaker 5: I can't I'm not dogging. I can't hear it.
[28:25] Speaker 3: Oh my.
[28:28] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[28:28] Speaker 3: Oh still so confident too? So does does anyone in
[28:33] Speaker 3: this room add lol to.
[28:35] Speaker 5: The end of their messages or their tan of my texts?
[28:38] Speaker 4: Everyone?
[28:39] Speaker 3: It's apparently one of the biggest millennials stereotypes.
[28:43] Speaker 2: Fine by me, and.
[28:45] Speaker 3: I didn't know that, but I do it, and I
[28:47] Speaker 3: don't know why. Sometimes I add LOL and I'm reading
[28:51] Speaker 3: the message and I'm like, that wasn't an LOL message.
[28:54] Speaker 5: I think it shows people that you're engaged, that you're
[28:56] Speaker 5: laughing out loud with them, so you're.
[28:59] Speaker 3: Actually we got loud if you muse it, I have LOL. Yeah.
[29:05] Speaker 5: I think it's nice, and it like it turns it
[29:08] Speaker 5: to like a levity.
[29:10] Speaker 4: I think millennials misjudge text with no punctuation as being
[29:14] Speaker 4: negative or aggressive when they are not, and adding LOL
[29:19] Speaker 4: softens that, which in reality is like if you just
[29:22] Speaker 4: say yes with no punctuation, that's fine. But even me,
[29:25] Speaker 4: just thinking about that makes me, Oh, they're mad at me.
[29:27] Speaker 5: Yeah, I always think Mark is mad at me.
[29:30] Speaker 3: Do you want to hear what the the traits are
[29:34] Speaker 3: for people who use lol at the end of their text.
[29:36] Speaker 3: According to doctor Dixon, who is a clinical sychologist, well,
[29:42] Speaker 3: she says, these are the traits of someone who adds LOL.
[29:47] Speaker 3: They they're worried about how they're perceived. They have anxiety,
[29:51] Speaker 3: they fear over sharing, they want to be understood. They're empathetic,
[29:57] Speaker 3: they value connection, they're sarcastic. I think mine is probably
[30:02] Speaker 3: most attributed to they worry about how they're perceived, because
[30:06] Speaker 3: I think that's what it is. I don't want to come.
[30:08] Speaker 5: Across as to direct or too negative to negative. If
[30:13] Speaker 5: I ever said like okay or yes or sure, what
[30:17] Speaker 5: about k, it's okay l O L so they know
[30:22] Speaker 5: it's like lights.
[30:24] Speaker 3: But if you're serious.
[30:27] Speaker 4: Exactly exactly, what about punctuating with an emoji instead of
[30:33] Speaker 4: L O L.
[30:33] Speaker 2: That's fine.
[30:34] Speaker 3: I hit them with both the emo and the lo
[30:38] Speaker 3: O L.
[30:40] Speaker 2: What the devious little one you are?
[30:47] Speaker 5: Can we do my thing now?
[30:52] Speaker 2: Talk L shifting gears.
[30:56] Speaker 6: But that is why I do that. That's why I
[30:58] Speaker 6: come off as cold on text because I don't do
[31:00] Speaker 6: the L O L. I don't do the emoji. I
[31:02] Speaker 6: just say what I want.
[31:03] Speaker 4: You are.
[31:05] Speaker 5: Like it could not use Antarctica like I have to
[31:08] Speaker 5: be like you good wash and Mark Lol.
[31:11] Speaker 6: That's why you come off as needy anxiety.
[31:16] Speaker 3: Actually needy was not on the list. Mark.
[31:18] Speaker 5: Yeah, but well I am a little needy, especially when
[31:23] Speaker 5: I'm on my period, which is now.
[31:24] Speaker 3: And what do you need from me right now?
[31:26] Speaker 2: I want us to do this?
[31:28] Speaker 9: Wow?
[31:29] Speaker 5: Okay, Trent, Okay, okay, okay, So I'll explain it to
[31:34] Speaker 5: the people who don't know, because I didn't know this
[31:36] Speaker 5: as of yesterday.
[31:37] Speaker 2: Jesus, is it old?
[31:39] Speaker 3: I mean, it's just it's just everywhere. Is it old?
[31:43] Speaker 3: I don't think it's old.
[31:44] Speaker 2: But like Robbie said, you and Ali did it, and
[31:46] Speaker 2: I was like, no, they did it.
[31:47] Speaker 3: We did on TikTok. You're trying to find your breaking news.
[31:52] Speaker 3: It's such a ginger cham. If you go to TikTok,
[31:54] Speaker 3: you'll find the Wow. Okay, trend quick.
[31:58] Speaker 2: Okay, So then do you want to explain it?
[32:01] Speaker 5: Since you've seen so many.
[32:03] Speaker 3: I feel I trust that you can do it.
[32:04] Speaker 2: Okay, So here's the trend.
[32:06] Speaker 5: You take the words wow okay, and you all have
[32:11] Speaker 5: to take turns and maybe since there's four of us,
[32:13] Speaker 5: each one can like win around. We can see who
[32:15] Speaker 5: wins each round okay, okay, so you do it in
[32:18] Speaker 5: a supportive tone, a disappointed tone, a sarcastic tone, and
[32:21] Speaker 5: a flirty tone. So whoever says it the best each
[32:24] Speaker 5: round wins is the judge, though it has to be unanimous.

[35:25] Speaker 3: Okay, Mark got that? Wow this, I feel like you're
[35:32] Speaker 3: trying to do your like a sonic voice.
[35:34] Speaker 6: Like your voice audition is what you're doing.
[35:37] Speaker 3: I can't hear. You're like a character. Last round, he
[35:44] Speaker 3: said you're like a character, characature.

[36:50] Speaker 3: That did not help.
[36:51] Speaker 6: She was just trying to be fair and have everybody
[36:53] Speaker 6: went shoo.
[36:55] Speaker 3: Shoot.
[36:56] Speaker 2: I don't mind it though, thank you.
[36:58] Speaker 3: I want to absolutely stressed watching Tanya over. I imagine
[37:07] Speaker 3: everybody will make an editor.
[37:08] Speaker 5: Everybody like.
[37:10] Speaker 2: Lip tear.
[37:13] Speaker 3: Okay. I feel like we should end the episode with
[37:15] Speaker 3: one deer Banya episode.
[37:18] Speaker 5: I just I realized Easton saw the Mandalorian this weekend,
[37:21] Speaker 5: and I just have to ask you, did you cry?
[37:23] Speaker 4: Did I cry?
[37:24] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[37:25] Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, that makes me feel so much better.
[37:28] Speaker 4: There's a little baby character when they're doing like that
[37:32] Speaker 4: chase in the like uh, and baby Yoda's in the
[37:36] Speaker 4: like stroller.
[37:37] Speaker 2: Is not Grogu Sorry I call him by his his
[37:40] Speaker 2: other name.
[37:41] Speaker 4: When Gregor's in the little stroller, it's like another little
[37:43] Speaker 4: baby that's like about to get hit and he's like
[37:44] Speaker 4: he looks like scared. For two seconds, that part made
[37:46] Speaker 4: me cry.
[37:47] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, there's this part you would cry.
[37:50] Speaker 3: I can't handle anything with so.
[37:52] Speaker 5: Grogu' is like the it's like the baby, he's like
[37:54] Speaker 5: the little Yoda and his master or I don't even.
[37:57] Speaker 2: Know who's what's his dad?
[37:59] Speaker 5: His dad?
[37:59] Speaker 4: Oh that's his dad the Mandalori. Yeah, their condom is
[38:04] Speaker 4: dad in that movie Rod of the is conom is dad?
[38:07] Speaker 5: That not doing well? And uh, Grogu like curls up
[38:13] Speaker 5: in his arm, and the way he curls up in
[38:15] Speaker 5: his arm is the way Sonny curls up into our arms.
[38:17] Speaker 5: And I just start sobbing in the middle of the theater.
[38:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't do all with this. Yeah.
[38:23] Speaker 5: Robbie and the kids were like, not a sad movie.
[38:26] Speaker 2: Why is she crying?
[38:28] Speaker 4: He's never in peril or anything. It's always a sweet moment.
[38:31] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[38:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Well, I'm you enjoyed the movie aside from
[38:36] Speaker 3: the sadness heres that you felt and not knowing the storyline.
[38:39] Speaker 6: Apparently Star Wars.
[38:43] Speaker 3: I know she's really leaning into like mother step boy mom.
[38:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's what you have to do.
[38:50] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[38:51] Speaker 5: Like some of the movies I did want, Like some
[38:53] Speaker 5: of the movies, I do want.
[38:54] Speaker 2: To see some I have no interest in.
[38:56] Speaker 5: See. This was a zero. Yeah, this was really the
[39:00] Speaker 5: zero out of the ten. It fell asleep for the
[39:02] Speaker 5: first half, but once I woke up, I really enjoyed it.
[39:08] Speaker 4: I love It's getting some hate online. I loved the
[39:11] Speaker 4: Mandalorian and Grogu. I loved Job of the Hut. He's
[39:14] Speaker 4: my favorite Star Wars character. There's a lot of Hut
[39:16] Speaker 4: stuff in this movie, a lot of hut. Jeremy Allen White,
[39:19] Speaker 4: Oh my god. I went to this movie going I
[39:20] Speaker 4: want Jeremy Allen White's voice unmodulated. I want him speaking English.
[39:24] Speaker 4: He's the voice of job Is jacked son. Jaba has
[39:27] Speaker 4: a son who's like a wrestler's super buff. He's this
[39:29] Speaker 4: big slug. He's so gross. And they speak a different language.
[39:32] Speaker 4: They speak hut ease, And I'm like, I want Jeremian
[39:35] Speaker 4: White speaking English and I want to just and that's
[39:37] Speaker 4: exactly what we got.
[39:38] Speaker 6: Baby.
[39:38] Speaker 4: It's there's a giant voice.
[39:40] Speaker 5: Wasn't modulated. I feel it didn't sound like himself at all.
[39:42] Speaker 4: They put like a lower tone in there to make
[39:45] Speaker 4: it sound like his two throats, which I think they do.
[39:47] Speaker 4: And but other than that, he's just Jeremie al White going.
[39:49] Speaker 4: I don't want to be like my father.
[39:51] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[39:52] Speaker 5: I enjoyed it for the part you were conscious for.
[39:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, the part you were watching in a way.
[39:59] Speaker 2: You know what, it's fan only time we do dinner
[40:01] Speaker 2: in a movie. It's cute.
[40:02] Speaker 5: Yeah, good, reclimb the seat if I need to take
[40:06] Speaker 5: a old nap.
[40:07] Speaker 3: When it comes to Star Wars movies, I always encourage
[40:10] Speaker 3: Haley to find a friend who loves to watch Star
[40:12] Speaker 3: Wars and even come with them. I'm gonna send her
[40:15] Speaker 3: with please do the yeahd to Star Wars.
[40:20] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[40:21] Speaker 3: Okay, So I was thinking we could do the anonymous
[40:24] Speaker 3: Yeah that looks yeah, yeah juicy.
[40:25] Speaker 6: Hi Beckat on your market East and I love your podcast.
[40:28] Speaker 6: I listen every week. I want your advice. I can't
[40:29] Speaker 6: tell if I'm overreacting. My husband in a class with
[40:32] Speaker 6: a girl his freshman year of college. They studied together
[40:35] Speaker 6: one night in his dorm, they slept together. They stayed close,
[40:38] Speaker 6: casual friends, but never dated. Then he met me and
[40:41] Speaker 6: the rest is history. We've been married for close to
[40:43] Speaker 6: twenty years. Fast forward to today. My husband is the
[40:47] Speaker 6: principal at the school her kids attend. She's very involved,
[40:51] Speaker 6: so they see each other off and honestly, I don't
[40:53] Speaker 6: trust her vibes. She seems very comfortable around him, and
[40:56] Speaker 6: I can't help feeling jealous. My husband is great, there's
[41:00] Speaker 6: nothing there. They never even dated, but it still makes
[41:03] Speaker 6: me uncomfortable. And obviously he can't control where her kids
[41:06] Speaker 6: go to school or her level of involvement there. Am
[41:09] Speaker 6: I being weird and insecure? Would this bother you too?
[41:14] Speaker 3: Kind of both? Yeah?
[41:17] Speaker 5: My truth can be yeah true.
[41:21] Speaker 3: And that is the truth.
[41:22] Speaker 5: That is the truth.
[41:24] Speaker 3: I think that sometimes our insecurities can get the best
[41:29] Speaker 3: of us, and we make up a story that's not real.
[41:33] Speaker 3: And I also think she could be maybe a woman
[41:35] Speaker 3: who feels very comfortable and might come across as flirty
[41:39] Speaker 3: even if she's just being like kind and friendly, or
[41:41] Speaker 3: she might have bad intentions. I don't know this woman.
[41:43] Speaker 6: Yeah, well she left out whether this other woman. I mean.
[41:47] Speaker 5: That doesn't mean anything.
[41:49] Speaker 3: I mean it should, but yeah, I mean it doesn't.
[41:51] Speaker 3: Two people can still misbehave even if they're both married.
[41:57] Speaker 6: Yeah, but she'd be more I think she'd be more.
[42:00] Speaker 2: Secure if if she were married.
[42:03] Speaker 6: Yeah, you were more righteous in questioning her motives if
[42:05] Speaker 6: she were divorced or that sort of thing, right.
[42:08] Speaker 5: Which she didn't specifically put in here, So I led
[42:10] Speaker 5: to believe she is not single.
[42:14] Speaker 6: Right, I think that's true.
[42:17] Speaker 2: I don't think you're crazy. However, I do feel.
[42:21] Speaker 5: Like, and this is kind of I always I always
[42:24] Speaker 5: think like this because I trust Robbie with everything, Like
[42:28] Speaker 5: there's no question, Like I never question his loyalty. But
[42:33] Speaker 5: I'm sure people at some point in our lives are
[42:35] Speaker 5: going to flirt with him, do you know what I mean?
[42:36] Speaker 2: Like, it's just it is what it is.
[42:38] Speaker 5: You just have to trust your partner and just kind
[42:41] Speaker 5: of like hold I feel like, you've been married for
[42:42] Speaker 5: twenty years, your husband is obviously loyal. If he's giving
[42:46] Speaker 5: you reasons to question him, then maybe I would maybe
[42:49] Speaker 5: give it some sort of energy. But if he never has,
[42:53] Speaker 5: like I would just really try hard to just like
[42:55] Speaker 5: not even let this be anything.
[42:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say, you've it's seen like you've already
[43:00] Speaker 3: questioned him about it, and he's like, basically kind of
[43:04] Speaker 3: makes it seem like they it was never even their
[43:07] Speaker 3: hookup wasn't even a big deal. It's like a one
[43:09] Speaker 3: night thing. So I would say, it's like, you're not
[43:12] Speaker 3: a crazy person for having insecurities. We all are human
[43:15] Speaker 3: and having insecurities. I just want to I wouldn't let
[43:18] Speaker 3: it go so far that you act out on those
[43:22] Speaker 3: insecurities and trust that the man that you're married to
[43:25] Speaker 3: and have been married to for twenty years is trustworthy. Yeah,
[43:30] Speaker 3: and apparently knows where you stand on it if you've
[43:35] Speaker 3: brought it up, like he knows that it makes you
[43:37] Speaker 3: feel insecure. I'm assuming since you brought it up, So hopefully,
[43:42] Speaker 3: if if there's a situation where maybe he's being too
[43:45] Speaker 3: friendly back to her and you and it's something.
[43:47] Speaker 5: Right or like things are if their boundaries being crossed,
[43:50] Speaker 5: like this woman's like texting him instead of emailing.
[43:52] Speaker 3: Him, or what about kids or the school.
[43:54] Speaker 5: Yeah, like, obviously make sure that there's like boundaries, but
[43:57] Speaker 5: like you know, if this woman's flirting with him, there's
[44:01] Speaker 5: only so much you can do. You just have to
[44:02] Speaker 5: trust him.
[44:03] Speaker 3: Yeah, but don't don't don't feel like you're being crazy
[44:09] Speaker 3: for having an insecurity and also don't act out of insecurity.
[44:12] Speaker 5: Yeah, we're here for you, yes anonymous, and also.
