[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
[0:10] Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are.
[0:17] Speaker 3: Happy Monday.
[0:19] Speaker 2: Happy Monday. How you doing.
[0:21] Speaker 3: I'm doing all right? How you doing? I'm okay, okay, Yeah,
[0:26] Speaker 3: just beca came back from New York or went to
[0:28] Speaker 3: New York this weekend.
[0:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, I went Friday and got out before the storm
[0:34] Speaker 2: on Sunday.
[0:36] Speaker 4: What kind of temperatures were you dealing with?
[0:38] Speaker 2: Very cold ones that I have no interest in to
[0:41] Speaker 2: ever feel again?
[0:42] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[0:43] Speaker 2: Actually you know what it was. I so I was
[0:47] Speaker 2: told on Thursday officially that I was going to New York,
[0:50] Speaker 2: so I like booked the flight and everything. I looked
[0:53] Speaker 2: at the weather app and it said twelve degrees on
[0:55] Speaker 2: Saturday or seventeen and then low of eight, and I
[0:58] Speaker 2: was like.
[0:58] Speaker 3: Feels like and negative? Someone who cares what it feels like?
[1:02] Speaker 3: I saw one important.
[1:04] Speaker 2: No, eight was enough for me. So I'm like looking
[1:08] Speaker 2: at my closet I had. I was going to a
[1:10] Speaker 2: work event, and I was like, well, I'll be inside.
[1:13] Speaker 2: So I packed just kind of I wanted to take
[1:15] Speaker 2: a carry on, which I never do I'm the worst
[1:17] Speaker 2: packer in the world, but I was sensible. I was like,
[1:20] Speaker 2: I'm gonna pack, I'm gonna wear my jacket on the
[1:23] Speaker 2: plane and I'll just pack my outfits and then something
[1:26] Speaker 2: to travel home. And well, I was not prepared in
[1:31] Speaker 2: any slide like it was. It was so cold. I
[1:34] Speaker 2: don't even know how you prepare without just layering and
[1:37] Speaker 2: layering and layering. So we got through it. And then
[1:39] Speaker 2: everyone I told I was leaving on Sunday, they were like, okay,
[1:43] Speaker 2: good luck.
[1:43] Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna get stuck for sure.
[1:46] Speaker 2: So Saturday morning, our flight back got canceled like the
[1:50] Speaker 2: day the twenty four hours before it already was canceled,
[1:53] Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, no, we're here. We're definitely
[1:55] Speaker 2: here till Monday. So I'm just gonna get settled in
[1:58] Speaker 2: this hotel. And then I saw that there were still
[2:01] Speaker 2: six am flights and seven am flights available, and I
[2:03] Speaker 2: was like, they must think that those flights are going
[2:06] Speaker 2: to miss the storm coming in. So I'm frantically trying
[2:10] Speaker 2: to book it. It takes me like three tries of
[2:12] Speaker 2: it saying like denied, deny, denied, and I get through
[2:15] Speaker 2: and I send the girl who is on my management team, Michelle.
[2:18] Speaker 2: I send her and she's like, oh my gosh, we
[2:19] Speaker 2: got one all day. We go to the event and everything.
[2:22] Speaker 2: We get home and we go to check in and
[2:24] Speaker 2: we're like, I go. Mine says it doesn't. My itinerary
[2:28] Speaker 2: got canceled. She was like me too. So I'm searching
[2:32] Speaker 2: everywhere because at this point, I'm realizing I didn't bring
[2:35] Speaker 2: enough clothes. I didn't underwear. I had enough underwear because
[2:40] Speaker 2: I overpack underwear. I bring like ten pairs. Oh wow, okay, yeah,
[2:43] Speaker 2: I'm an aggressive underwear packer. But I thought, how cool
[2:46] Speaker 2: if it snows, like getting to see Central Park in
[2:48] Speaker 2: the snow. But what shoes am I going to wear?
[2:50] Speaker 2: I don't have rain boots or whatever you wear in
[2:53] Speaker 2: the snow.
[2:53] Speaker 3: I feel like I was sending you a lot of
[2:54] Speaker 3: tips on how to stay warm, like wrapping your toes
[2:56] Speaker 3: and foil and stuff. Yeah I send that to you.
[3:00] Speaker 2: No, but no, I didn't.
[3:01] Speaker 3: However, heard I said that too.
[3:04] Speaker 2: Even if I put my toes in foil, the shoes
[3:07] Speaker 2: I had would have beensling. Go on what So anyways,
[3:11] Speaker 2: I'm frantically searching. I find one a flight at six
[3:15] Speaker 2: am and I go to book it and I'm like,
[3:17] Speaker 2: it's here, and then I realized it's just one seat,
[3:20] Speaker 2: and I can't leave Michelle behind, and she goes, you
[3:22] Speaker 2: can take it, and I'm like, I'm we're a team,
[3:26] Speaker 2: not leaving you. I find one. I look up all
[3:29] Speaker 2: the airports nearby. I find one to Santa Anna, which
[3:31] Speaker 2: is like an hour away, and they had two at
[3:34] Speaker 2: six thirty five. So we get to the airport. I
[3:36] Speaker 2: woke up at like three thirty. Get to the airport
[3:39] Speaker 2: and six thirty five passes and we're not moving, like
[3:43] Speaker 2: We're all on the plane and I'm like where I
[3:46] Speaker 2: see the snowflowers coming down. I'm like, okay, are we
[3:48] Speaker 2: taking off? What's going on? We finally take off. I
[3:51] Speaker 2: wanted to I'm not a clapper on a plane. I
[3:53] Speaker 2: wanted to like cheer when we took off.
[3:57] Speaker 3: And was it taking up just a couple of minutes?
[3:59] Speaker 2: I think we left like thirty minutes.
[4:01] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's stressful thirty minutes.
[4:03] Speaker 2: It was a stressful thirty minutes. But I got home
[4:06] Speaker 2: and I feel really grateful because it looked very, very cold.
[4:09] Speaker 2: I was very unprepared.
[4:11] Speaker 1: Seventeen thousand flights canceled. Yeah, and that most since the pandemic.
[4:15] Speaker 2: And so so luckily someone on Instagram, her name's Kate,
[4:19] Speaker 2: she reached out. I don't know if she's a scrubb
[4:21] Speaker 2: or not, but she reached out and she was like,
[4:23] Speaker 2: I go back and forth all the time, and there's
[4:25] Speaker 2: always weather stuff. So she was like, I would book
[4:27] Speaker 2: a flight, a refundable flight for Monday and Tuesday, just
[4:30] Speaker 2: in case, because once they are all everyone's trying to
[4:32] Speaker 2: rebook from their canceled flight, it's going to be chaos.
[4:35] Speaker 2: So you want to have something just booked. So I
[4:37] Speaker 2: booked two extra flights that were I could just get
[4:40] Speaker 2: refunded immediately. And that was really great advice.
[4:44] Speaker 3: So always get the refundable tickets.
[4:47] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[4:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, gathered in my in my yonder years.
[4:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's a good time fun, you know, work trips,
[4:56] Speaker 2: et cetera.
[4:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, busy gal, busy bee. Yeah. I this is so weird,
[5:04] Speaker 3: But I I'm not somebody that like spends time in
[5:08] Speaker 3: the bathroom like you're talking about. You know, guys just
[5:12] Speaker 3: like go in there and like read the paper or whatever.
[5:14] Speaker 3: Like I just see bathroom. Yeah, I just go in there,
[5:17] Speaker 3: do my thing, and.
[5:18] Speaker 2: You don't you don't have like a you don't read
[5:20] Speaker 2: or do anything. Oh my gosh, I just go.
[5:23] Speaker 3: When I need to go, I go and then I
[5:24] Speaker 3: get out. But I was in there a little bit
[5:27] Speaker 3: longer than usual the other morning, and I hear these
[5:30] Speaker 3: like noises coming from my neighbor's house, and I was like,
[5:35] Speaker 3: they it sounds like sexual noises, like very sexual noises, Okay,
[5:41] Speaker 3: but it's going on for a long time. Like I
[5:43] Speaker 3: was in there for like at least fifteen minutes and
[5:46] Speaker 3: it was like the whole time.
[5:47] Speaker 5: So I like.
[5:49] Speaker 3: Recorded them because I was like, I wanted to send
[5:52] Speaker 3: it to Robbie to see like what was what this
[5:56] Speaker 3: was invasive? Well, my biggest concern is if I can
[5:59] Speaker 3: hear them? Can they hear us?
[6:02] Speaker 2: Definitely?
[6:03] Speaker 3: And then should I tell them that I could hear them? Like,
[6:08] Speaker 3: wouldn't you want to know? I would want to know.
[6:10] Speaker 2: But why then you're you have to be like quiet?
[6:13] Speaker 5: No.
[6:13] Speaker 3: But I feel like if somebody could hear me, I
[6:16] Speaker 3: would want them to tell me so that I could
[6:17] Speaker 3: maybe like close the windows or something. I don't know.
[6:20] Speaker 3: So then I'm like, do I go to my neighbors
[6:22] Speaker 3: and tell them there are two very lovely men that
[6:28] Speaker 3: one of us bonded because both of our cars got
[6:30] Speaker 3: hit when that drunk driver came and like swiped our cars.
[6:33] Speaker 3: That's really the only interaction I've had with them, either
[6:37] Speaker 3: of them. But so it's not like we're like besties.
[6:40] Speaker 3: Were not really like bessies with either of our neighbors. Yeah,
[6:43] Speaker 3: but when our cars got hit, we had like some
[6:45] Speaker 3: pleasantries and some nice exchanges.
[6:48] Speaker 2: Well, how would you go about that?
[6:49] Speaker 3: That's what I don't know. But then I was leaving
[6:52] Speaker 3: the house and I saw a U haul in front
[6:55] Speaker 3: of their house, like pulling, like like lifting things out
[6:59] Speaker 3: of their house. Then I'm like, were they like moving
[7:01] Speaker 3: their bed or were they like moving stuff and grunting?
[7:05] Speaker 3: I don't know. Then I'm like, if they're moving, do
[7:08] Speaker 3: I really need to say something?
[7:09] Speaker 1: You have a recording of it, Yeah, well you want
[7:13] Speaker 1: to play it for us and we can give you
[7:14] Speaker 1: our opinion. It seems like the scrubbers would want to
[7:16] Speaker 1: hear that I cannot.
[7:17] Speaker 3: I cannot, I cannot.
[7:19] Speaker 4: Okay, Fine, well let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
[7:21] Speaker 1: Then we'll call your neighbors Shane and Ilia and will
[7:24] Speaker 1: assume that they were just moving furniture.
[7:27] Speaker 3: So then I did nothing about it.
[7:29] Speaker 2: What are you hey, I heard I heard the grunting yesterday.
[7:35] Speaker 3: I would want to know if my neighbors could hear me,
[7:38] Speaker 3: I would want to know.
[7:39] Speaker 2: I think if their window is open, they don't.
[7:41] Speaker 3: Care, or maybe they just needed some fresh air.
[7:46] Speaker 2: I'm not opening my window knowing that I'm at a
[7:48] Speaker 2: close proximity with other homes, like people could be outside,
[7:52] Speaker 2: so I think they if they cared, they would close
[7:55] Speaker 2: their window. And if there was men moving stuff around,
[7:59] Speaker 2: it could have very well that I can't do it
[8:01] Speaker 2: without proof of sound, but I don't. I don't think
[8:05] Speaker 2: there's a world where it makes sense for you to
[8:07] Speaker 2: go over and tell them, And there's no way Robbie
[8:09] Speaker 2: thinks that's what you should do.
[8:11] Speaker 3: I haven't gone that far with him yet. I just
[8:13] Speaker 3: wanted to confirm the noises. I was like, that's as
[8:16] Speaker 3: far as I gone. I haven't told him about the
[8:18] Speaker 3: U haul yet.
[8:19] Speaker 4: Are they moving, because that's another reason to not bring this.
[8:22] Speaker 3: That's the thing. I don't know, but I'm assuming if
[8:24] Speaker 3: there's a U haul that and I saw men like
[8:26] Speaker 3: moving stuff out of their house, that means they're moving.
[8:28] Speaker 4: Well, goodbye. That's the end of it, right.
[8:31] Speaker 2: Okay, Like if you want to send them like a
[8:34] Speaker 2: card that says, by the way, I heard you, good
[8:37] Speaker 2: luck with everything, no sad, like good.
[8:41] Speaker 3: Stuff as just like myself, I would want if my
[8:45] Speaker 3: neighbors heard me, I would want to know.
[8:48] Speaker 2: I would not really what am I supposed to do
[8:52] Speaker 2: with that information?
[8:53] Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe like close your windows or close.
[8:56] Speaker 2: Your doors, like it's depending if my waybows open while
[8:59] Speaker 2: I'm doing that. I don't don't care who hears it.
[9:02] Speaker 3: See, we just keep our windows open all the time.
[9:04] Speaker 2: Then people are definitely hearing you.
[9:05] Speaker 4: Yes, that's how sound travels.
[9:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, when the windows closed, you don't hear anything, and
[9:10] Speaker 2: then when the windows open you hear things.
[9:12] Speaker 1: Because it's weird because you say you care and you
[9:13] Speaker 1: don't want them to hear you. Well, then close your windows.
[9:17] Speaker 3: I don't think about it like that. I didn't think
[9:19] Speaker 3: about that until I heard my neighbors. I swear I
[9:23] Speaker 3: didn't even think.
[9:24] Speaker 2: Well, now it's something to think about.
[9:26] Speaker 3: Yeah, if you care thinking about it, and I do.
[9:29] Speaker 2: Care, then the windows should be shut and locked. Stress
[9:34] Speaker 2: maybe with the extra layer on them, maybe consider double pain. Yeah,
[9:43] Speaker 2: but I'm glad that you don't have to have. I'm
[9:45] Speaker 2: glad that you asked, because I don't think that's a
[9:47] Speaker 2: necessary confrontation conversation.
[9:50] Speaker 3: It would not have been confrontational. I would have made
[9:52] Speaker 3: it like sounded good. I wouldn't have made it saying confrontational.
[9:58] Speaker 2: Well, there's confronting some one and telling them like, like
[10:02] Speaker 2: that conversation is that you're confronting.
[10:05] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yah, I mean it's gonna be like.
[10:07] Speaker 2: Negatively conversation, no confrontational. It just as you're confronting them.
[10:15] Speaker 3: Thinking about having that conversation makes my arms, my hands sweaty.
[10:19] Speaker 2: Then you shouldn't do it. There's a lot there's a
[10:23] Speaker 2: lot more important things than them, you know, grunting hearing
[10:28] Speaker 2: them grunt.
[10:29] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[10:32] Speaker 2: So that's what your weekend consisted of. Anything else?
[10:34] Speaker 3: No, I did. I actually did. My parents came in town,
[10:37] Speaker 3: which was really nice, and and I did like a
[10:40] Speaker 3: karaoke night, which is like the first night, my first
[10:43] Speaker 3: like real night out that I've like had. I was
[10:47] Speaker 3: so tired by like nine pm.
[10:50] Speaker 2: Well yeah, that's a karaoke takes a lot out of
[10:52] Speaker 2: out of oneself.
[10:54] Speaker 3: But I will say the day that the Hairy Style
[10:56] Speaker 3: song came out. I like listened to it, I think
[10:58] Speaker 3: probably one hundred times on repeat, and I had it
[11:00] Speaker 3: on my headphones and I was just like dancing upstairs.
[11:03] Speaker 3: And Robbie was like, this is the first time I've
[11:05] Speaker 3: seen you like this joyous in a really long time.
[11:09] Speaker 3: And so I'm like, I feel like I'm on the
[11:11] Speaker 3: up and up.
[11:11] Speaker 2: You just needed Harry. You need the aperture.
[11:14] Speaker 3: I needed the aperture. But yeah, I was like dancing.
[11:17] Speaker 3: I had like my headphones in because my stepson was
[11:20] Speaker 3: doing his homework, so I was trying to be respectful,
[11:22] Speaker 3: but like blasting in my headphones and like, dam.
[11:25] Speaker 4: Harry styles pillow for the occasion.
[11:27] Speaker 3: I did not. It stays in my office respectfully.
[11:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, I understood.
[11:32] Speaker 3: Yeah the pillow. Becka got rid of my pillow with
[11:36] Speaker 3: my face on it.
[11:38] Speaker 2: I offered to give it back to them, and Robbie said,
[11:42] Speaker 2: basically like that's okay. He was like, all right, why
[11:46] Speaker 2: would you give that away? Like that's so mean, And
[11:49] Speaker 2: I was like, well, then you should take it, and
[11:51] Speaker 2: he was like no. So I don't know who hazard
[11:56] Speaker 2: or where it is, but you are amongst the world
[12:00] Speaker 2: a big pillow portion of you.
[12:02] Speaker 1: The good wheel or something maybe, Oh, I'd love that
[12:04] Speaker 1: if some random person gets a Tania pillow.
[12:07] Speaker 4: How fun?
[12:08] Speaker 3: It's very comfortable. Yeah, I'm very big.
[12:13] Speaker 2: It is large. It's a large pillow. It's just like
[12:16] Speaker 2: little head. No, how was the Nick Jonas event? You
[12:21] Speaker 2: just like skipped right over that. You just have an
[12:24] Speaker 2: interview with Harry Styles and then goes to like a
[12:26] Speaker 2: intimate Nick Jonas concert and nothing nothing to report?
[12:29] Speaker 3: Do you want to know something that was so sweet
[12:31] Speaker 3: about that whole thing? What this is a message to
[12:35] Speaker 3: everybody listening, because it just goes to show you the
[12:38] Speaker 3: power of vulnerability and like not making your life out
[12:43] Speaker 3: to be this like picture perfect thing that we all
[12:45] Speaker 3: do on social media. And I'll tell you that story
[12:48] Speaker 3: when we come back.
[12:50] Speaker 4: Oh sorry, you completely caught me off.
[12:52] Speaker 5: Yeah, me too.
[13:08] Speaker 2: We're back. Oh, we're back. Okay.
[13:11] Speaker 3: So are you familiar with JP Sacks?
[13:14] Speaker 2: Yes?
[13:15] Speaker 3: Okay, Mark you know who he is?
[13:17] Speaker 4: Yes?
[13:18] Speaker 3: Okay, So I want to say, like.
[13:20] Speaker 2: Summer, well, do you want to tell the people who
[13:21] Speaker 2: he is?
[13:22] Speaker 3: And so Jp Sacks Grammy nominated Artists. Okay, we'll just
[13:27] Speaker 3: leave it at that. But so he went on Instagram
[13:30] Speaker 3: over the summer and basically like was like it was.
[13:34] Speaker 3: I can't remember exactly how he captioned it, but like
[13:37] Speaker 3: screw being cool and just like set his truth. Basically,
[13:40] Speaker 3: he needed to sell twenty thousand more tickets for his
[13:43] Speaker 3: tour not to get canceled, okay, which is something that
[13:46] Speaker 3: like happens to a lot of artists, but they do
[13:49] Speaker 3: not go out there and say it. They'll cancel tours
[13:51] Speaker 3: because of like scheduling conflicts, or they'll make up some
[13:56] Speaker 3: sort of whatever.
[13:57] Speaker 4: Like exhaustion, exhaustion.
[13:59] Speaker 3: Whenever it is, nobody comes out and says like, I
[14:01] Speaker 3: couldn't sell him the ticket. So it was really brave
[14:03] Speaker 3: and really like vulnerable, and the story was kind of everywhere.
[14:07] Speaker 3: And Nick Jonas saw it and he invited JP to
[14:10] Speaker 3: come out when the Jonah's brothers, you know how they
[14:12] Speaker 3: kept having like guests during their tour. They invited JP
[14:16] Speaker 3: to come out to one of their tour stops and sing,
[14:18] Speaker 3: and then through that, Nick reached out for him to
[14:21] Speaker 3: work on this solo album with him. So he went
[14:25] Speaker 3: from like and I'm sure this happened with other artists
[14:27] Speaker 3: and him too, you know, had he not shared that
[14:30] Speaker 3: and been vulnerable and like been you know, not cool
[14:33] Speaker 3: or whatever, he got a lot of work out of it,
[14:36] Speaker 3: and so he wrote he helped Nick Jonas on this
[14:39] Speaker 3: new album, so he Jp Sacks was kind of moderating
[14:42] Speaker 3: this like album preview, which I thought was really cool,
[14:45] Speaker 3: kind of like that story of just kind of how
[14:47] Speaker 3: it all went down, and he played a couple of
[14:49] Speaker 3: the songs, told like stories about kind of what the
[14:53] Speaker 3: songs meant, and then he performed like a handful of them.
[14:59] Speaker 3: And I just I love Nick Jonas. I love the
[15:01] Speaker 3: Jonas brothers, love everything they do. I love that they're
[15:03] Speaker 3: like making music as the brothers. I love that they're
[15:06] Speaker 3: making solo music. I love that they're touring together but
[15:09] Speaker 3: doing all these little things for themselves too. So that
[15:13] Speaker 3: was really cool.
[15:14] Speaker 2: Did you get to say hello to Nick?
[15:17] Speaker 5: So?
[15:17] Speaker 3: I didn't say hello to him, like I right when
[15:19] Speaker 3: it ended, I left just because I had like some
[15:22] Speaker 3: work stuff I needed to do. But he definitely saw
[15:26] Speaker 3: me because I was like.
[15:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right there, I was right.
[15:29] Speaker 3: I can't imagine, and he locked eyes with me, you know,
[15:32] Speaker 3: and they gave me like.
[15:33] Speaker 2: The hey, yeah yeah, yeah, see yeah, I see ya.
[15:35] Speaker 3: I see yeah. Nice yeah.
[15:37] Speaker 2: So fun.
[15:39] Speaker 3: It really was, and like he does it on Sundays
[15:41] Speaker 3: because the album is called Sunday Best, so he does
[15:44] Speaker 3: he's doing these like sessions on Sundays, which I thought
[15:46] Speaker 3: was like, you know, I love a theme.
[15:49] Speaker 2: So creative, Sunday Best on a Sunday, it's so cute. Yeah,
[15:55] Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, what other day when you do it
[15:58] Speaker 2: on Monday?
[16:00] Speaker 3: Took her for a drink on Tuesday.
[16:03] Speaker 2: Well, the album has been released for Harry Styles.
[16:09] Speaker 3: The track list and.
[16:10] Speaker 2: That's what I was meaning, kiss all the time disco occasionally. Yeah,
[16:15] Speaker 2: we have how many songs? One, two, three.
[16:18] Speaker 3: Four, twelve songs?
[16:21] Speaker 2: Twelve songs and we have titles? So shall we guess
[16:25] Speaker 2: what we think our favorites are gonna be?
[16:26] Speaker 3: I already know which one's gonna be my favorite?
[16:28] Speaker 2: Have you listened to it?
[16:29] Speaker 3: No? Okay, I wish? Okay, go for it. American girls,
[16:33] Speaker 3: that's gonna be your favorite? Okay, what's your gonna be
[16:36] Speaker 3: your favorite?
[16:38] Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with I really like coming Up Roses.
[16:43] Speaker 3: Oh, but I also.
[16:45] Speaker 2: Like, are you listening yet? Because it sounds like it
[16:49] Speaker 2: could have a powerful message. And then I have one
[16:53] Speaker 2: more please Carla song because his song Matilda is like
[16:59] Speaker 2: the oh yeah, I have never like that song did
[17:04] Speaker 2: something like it changed me. And every time I hear
[17:07] Speaker 2: I think about he has to have or whoever wrote
[17:12] Speaker 2: that song with him or Harry himself to be able
[17:15] Speaker 2: to write something that's that relatable and deep and emotional
[17:21] Speaker 2: to someone's life is I'm like, he knows someone who's
[17:24] Speaker 2: been through this, right, because you can't write that type
[17:28] Speaker 2: of song and not have a personal connection to it.
[17:31] Speaker 2: It's one of my favorite songs of all time. So
[17:33] Speaker 2: I feel like Carlos.
[17:34] Speaker 4: Song gott to Be Powerful, got to be a.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Power, and it's the last one.
[17:38] Speaker 1: All of these are basically song titles, like they all
[17:41] Speaker 1: seem like song titles, except for Season two Weight Loss.
[17:44] Speaker 1: That's a very interesting, not typical song title. So I'm curious.
[17:49] Speaker 1: But I don't think he's my favorite. I'm just kind
[17:51] Speaker 1: of pointing it out.
[17:52] Speaker 4: I think my.
[17:52] Speaker 1: Favorite is gonna be Ready Steady Go, because I bet
[17:54] Speaker 1: that's a banger. I bet that's a party I.
[17:57] Speaker 3: Think they're all going to be bangers.
[17:59] Speaker 4: Well, I don't is Aperture a banger?
[18:01] Speaker 1: Yes, I'm not saying it's not a great song banger,
[18:05] Speaker 1: but is it a dance like?
[18:08] Speaker 4: Is it a party song? I don't know. I'm not
[18:11] Speaker 4: sure it is. Okay, tiny things, I'm crazy fine.
[18:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's a party song. I think
[18:15] Speaker 2: it's a roll your windows song. I think it's a
[18:17] Speaker 2: dance in your room song. But I don't think it's
[18:19] Speaker 2: a party And.
[18:19] Speaker 4: I think it's a big hit, but I don't think
[18:21] Speaker 4: it's a party song.
[18:22] Speaker 2: Yeah. It's kind of like a cold Play song where
[18:24] Speaker 2: you're like like, yeah, like it's just vibes. It's not
[18:29] Speaker 2: a bad thing, a cold but it's not like Watermelon
[18:32] Speaker 2: sugar High.
[18:34] Speaker 3: It's far from a cold place.
[18:36] Speaker 4: Certainly, not like Kiwi.
[18:40] Speaker 2: It's not like Satellite. Oh, Satellite is truly one of
[18:44] Speaker 2: my favorite songs of all time.
[18:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very up, but.
[18:47] Speaker 2: I'm I feel like Aperture was a great release and
[18:50] Speaker 2: it just makes me excited for the album. Wow, I'm
[18:53] Speaker 2: sorry about the offensive words.
[18:55] Speaker 4: Have you Did you watch the video because my daughter
[18:57] Speaker 4: and I watched it the other night. Yeah, I was intrigued.
[19:00] Speaker 3: It's so good.
[19:02] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's very good.
[19:03] Speaker 3: Did you read the meaning behind it?
[19:05] Speaker 2: No.
[19:06] Speaker 3: Allegedly it's supposed to kind of be the the a
[19:10] Speaker 3: depiction of the relationship with the.
[19:12] Speaker 4: Fans that guy represents the fans kind.
[19:14] Speaker 3: Of like they're always like there and then he's kind
[19:17] Speaker 3: of like looking over.
[19:18] Speaker 1: Her shoulders, and it could be an antagonistic relationship, yeah, where.
[19:21] Speaker 3: They're like chasing each other, or like beautiful harmonious where
[19:24] Speaker 3: they're like dancing together.
[19:26] Speaker 1: So if you haven't seen it, Harry checks into a hotel,
[19:29] Speaker 1: calls a number, which, by the way, I don't get
[19:30] Speaker 1: where that's going. He calls someone, Oh yeah, room six
[19:34] Speaker 1: o five.
[19:34] Speaker 4: Remember that.
[19:35] Speaker 1: He calls room six oh five, rings and rings and rings,
[19:37] Speaker 1: puts it on speaker, rings and rings and rings, goes
[19:39] Speaker 1: and brushes his teeth, still ring and ring and ring,
[19:41] Speaker 1: and that not answering. So he leaves his room, goes downstairs.
[19:44] Speaker 1: There's a guy sunglasses, yeah, long hair, like a bag,
[19:50] Speaker 1: like a plastic bag like from a convenience store, chases him,
[19:55] Speaker 1: fights him, and then they start dancing together.
[19:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, and then he goes back to his room and
[20:00] Speaker 4: goes to bed.
[20:04] Speaker 2: Something to be interpreted.
[20:05] Speaker 3: Yeah, well it was lost on me the the and
[20:10] Speaker 3: then I was reading like people's comments and stuff, and
[20:12] Speaker 3: it was some people were saying that it's like the
[20:15] Speaker 3: it's the depiction of his relationship with the fans.
[20:19] Speaker 2: You love a fan theory.
[20:21] Speaker 3: I love it.
[20:21] Speaker 2: You just like if you see something you like, you
[20:24] Speaker 2: adopt it.
[20:24] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the lore.
[20:26] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Like I don't know personally, but this is
[20:30] Speaker 2: what someone else said.
[20:31] Speaker 3: So, you know what somebody asked him that I thought
[20:33] Speaker 3: was a really great question.
[20:35] Speaker 2: What uh?
[20:36] Speaker 3: They asked, Harry, who in your life is like he
[20:41] Speaker 3: cares the least about like who you are, what you do?
[20:44] Speaker 2: He said his sister, Well yeah that makes sense.
[20:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was just like cute and he was
[20:49] Speaker 3: just like she could care less about like the.
[20:53] Speaker 2: Is she older or younger?
[20:54] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[20:55] Speaker 2: Well, if she's the older sister, she's probably like that's
[20:58] Speaker 2: just my like little thinky little brother. No, I love
[21:05] Speaker 2: my Julius styles has been brought up multiple times here. Yeah.
[21:13] Speaker 3: So I like that question.
[21:15] Speaker 2: It's a good question, it's a it's an understandable answer.
[21:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I'm surprised more like his mom or something.
[21:26] Speaker 3: But you know he'll asked for one.
[21:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, one picked one. Yeah. So these text messages between
[21:33] Speaker 2: Blake Lively and Taylor Social released, which man, it's got
[21:36] Speaker 2: to be so hard to have these like this private
[21:40] Speaker 2: stuff release, Like it's really just tough, tough, and I'm
[21:46] Speaker 2: not really. I don't need to like harp on the
[21:49] Speaker 2: lawsuit or whatever. My conversation that I want to have
[21:52] Speaker 2: isn't about that. But I found the text exchange should
[21:54] Speaker 2: be so relatable because I feel like you and I
[21:58] Speaker 2: have had a conversation.
[22:00] Speaker 3: A hundred percent. But people are like going in on
[22:03] Speaker 3: Taylor and like saying how she's a mean girl and
[22:05] Speaker 3: she's all these things, and granted this is me. I
[22:08] Speaker 3: didn't read all of them. I read like snippets that
[22:10] Speaker 3: like Dumois posted, so I'm not sure I'm reading like
[22:13] Speaker 3: the full exchange.
[22:14] Speaker 2: Oh, I just saw the one where Blake Lively is
[22:16] Speaker 2: basically like I don't know if I'm overthinking this, but
[22:19] Speaker 2: I feel distant, and then Taylor's response to it, so
[22:21] Speaker 2: I didn't see anything beyond that.
[22:22] Speaker 3: Oh that's not even about the justin Baldon, I know, but.
[22:25] Speaker 2: I'm saying, like that's what I saw, And I was like, man,
[22:28] Speaker 2: that is such a relatable best friend conversation, one that
[22:32] Speaker 2: I have had, because like Donny will text me and
[22:35] Speaker 2: be like, are you annoyed with me? Why? Like I
[22:38] Speaker 2: feel like I did something, and then I'm just like,
[22:40] Speaker 2: I I don't, I don't know what I've done to
[22:44] Speaker 2: make you feel that way, but I'm sorry, I don't
[22:47] Speaker 2: feel nic.
[22:47] Speaker 3: I'm like, I'll ask you something and then i'll like
[22:50] Speaker 3: follow up like an hour or two later, and then
[22:53] Speaker 3: you'll post something on Instagram and like you still haven't
[22:55] Speaker 3: answered me, and I'm just like, are you ignoring me
[22:57] Speaker 3: on purpose?
[22:58] Speaker 2: Like?
[22:59] Speaker 3: What did I do?
[23:00] Speaker 2: I just well, I'm really bad about small talk over text,
[23:05] Speaker 2: like with anyone. Like it is like if it's a
[23:08] Speaker 2: question that I don't.
[23:09] Speaker 3: Feel like, it's not even small talk. It's like can
[23:11] Speaker 3: you do the podcast at eleven thirty? And it's like crickets.
[23:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, because y'all text me and it'll be like the
[23:16] Speaker 2: night before and the schedules change, and I have other
[23:18] Speaker 2: stuff going on aside from thinking about y'all schedule in
[23:22] Speaker 2: the podcast schedule?
[23:23] Speaker 3: Do you hear that tone?
[23:28] Speaker 4: One?
[23:29] Speaker 2: So I had someone over and I was trying to
[23:31] Speaker 2: be present and they're like trying to coordinate the schedule
[23:34] Speaker 2: for a tomorrow thing. I'm like, listen, I am not
[23:38] Speaker 2: going to be as responsive as I need to be
[23:41] Speaker 2: on that because I'm trying to be respectful to someone
[23:43] Speaker 2: i'm in person with.
[23:45] Speaker 3: But I all too was being respectful because I said,
[23:47] Speaker 3: if this doesn't work, we can do it on Monday,
[23:50] Speaker 3: no problem. Literally, whatever works for you. I say, whatever work.
[23:54] Speaker 2: Whenever I responded in the group chat that you are
[23:56] Speaker 2: in and I was like tomorrow's fine. What time? No responded, I.
[24:01] Speaker 3: Said eleven thirty, and then you just were like what time?
[24:03] Speaker 3: What time? I'm like, is she mad at me?
[24:05] Speaker 2: Like?
[24:05] Speaker 3: What is going on?
[24:06] Speaker 2: I'm not mad at you?
[24:07] Speaker 3: You were.
[24:08] Speaker 2: I promise not mad at all. Nothing. I will let
[24:11] Speaker 2: you know when I'm mad at you, so you can
[24:13] Speaker 2: rest easy.
[24:14] Speaker 3: If I have an issue, there's an underlying tone happening
[24:17] Speaker 3: here with.
[24:18] Speaker 2: I promise there's no underlying tone. I promise when I
[24:22] Speaker 2: am at an age where if I have issues with you,
[24:24] Speaker 2: I will communicate them directly. Oh that's what I was saying.
[24:28] Speaker 2: So you can rest easy that unless I say something,
[24:31] Speaker 2: I'm not annoyed with you, okay, And I'm not good.
[24:34] Speaker 2: I really don't do well with like small talk text,
[24:37] Speaker 2: but this is everybody like Ali will text me multiple
[24:40] Speaker 2: times and if I don't respond, she'll just be like goodbye,
[24:44] Speaker 2: and then I'm like, hey, what's up?
[24:48] Speaker 4: I'm so with you? If I got a text, so
[24:50] Speaker 4: have you bead. I'm like, oh my god.
[24:53] Speaker 3: Okay, but I like my action. I have to do
[24:56] Speaker 3: matter robot Like, I'm like, hey, like I texted you yes,
[25:00] Speaker 3: like how are you feeling? Because I know she woke
[25:02] Speaker 3: up at three am and had a long flight home.
[25:05] Speaker 2: I was sleeping, so I gave her the whole.
[25:06] Speaker 3: Day to respond nothing. So then I texted her this morning,
[25:09] Speaker 3: how are you doing? And I responded, yeah.
[25:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of follow up. Well, it's like
[25:17] Speaker 2: I'm gonna I get to see you tomorrow and tell
[25:19] Speaker 2: you in person how I'm feeling, which is tired but grateful.
[25:24] Speaker 2: I felt a lot of gratitude being able to get
[25:26] Speaker 2: on a plane and get home yesterday because a lot
[25:28] Speaker 2: of people did not have that. Yeah, And you know what,
[25:30] Speaker 2: I had accepted it because I was like, if we
[25:32] Speaker 2: don't get out, if I'm stuck in New York, I
[25:34] Speaker 2: have a safe place, I'm warm. I'm not needing to
[25:37] Speaker 2: get anywhere. Like I was thinking about all the people
[25:39] Speaker 2: that were traveling and got canceled, that were had somewhere
[25:42] Speaker 2: really important to be, Like, there's such serious things going
[25:46] Speaker 2: on and just in life and people needing to get
[25:49] Speaker 2: somewhere and people being stuck, and I was like, you
[25:51] Speaker 2: know what if I get stuck all as well? Yeah,
[25:53] Speaker 2: I'll have a couple of cozy days in a hotel.
[25:56] Speaker 2: Everything's fine.
[25:57] Speaker 3: Well hot chocolate, hot chocolate.
[26:00] Speaker 2: So yeah, I love you and don't annoy me. I'm
[26:04] Speaker 2: sorry that my lack of response. I'll try to be better,
[26:07] Speaker 2: but like, also, just don't take it personally, because everything personally,
[26:12] Speaker 2: I know, and that's something to work on. Nothing's not.
[26:14] Speaker 2: Everything's personal. I'm learning if therapy not. Everything's personal, but
[26:20] Speaker 2: some things are, some things are, but with me and you,
[26:23] Speaker 2: it's not personal.
[26:26] Speaker 3: Yeah. We really spiraled from the Taylor Swift conversation.
[26:30] Speaker 5: Well.
[26:30] Speaker 2: I just was like, well not really, because I was
[26:35] Speaker 2: what do you want to talk about?
[26:36] Speaker 3: Because she was like there was the Justin Baldoni text
[26:39] Speaker 3: that she was saying, and again I didn't read them all.
[26:42] Speaker 3: I read the ones of like the tiny violin or whatever.
[26:45] Speaker 2: Called him a little bit or whatever.
[26:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was like, I feel like this is
[26:48] Speaker 3: just like a best friend having a best friend's back,
[26:50] Speaker 3: you know, like if you're dealing with somebody at work
[26:52] Speaker 3: that like sucks and is sucking the life out of you,
[26:55] Speaker 3: I know Becca is gonna come in and like have
[26:58] Speaker 3: my back, you know.
[27:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's what I'm saying, these Texter should be private.
[27:03] Speaker 2: And also what Taylor said to me was like the
[27:07] Speaker 2: most minuscule thing that she could have said about someone
[27:09] Speaker 2: that her best friend was complaining to her about. You
[27:12] Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Yeah, So I thought it was
[27:14] Speaker 2: personally blown out of proportion.
[27:16] Speaker 3: But she's getting so much heat for him.
[27:18] Speaker 2: She gets heat for everything. One thing about Taylor's gonna
[27:21] Speaker 2: get heat.
[27:22] Speaker 3: That's the thing about Taylor. Yeah, you know what, she
[27:25] Speaker 3: doesn't take it personal.
[27:27] Speaker 2: She I don't even think she sees it because I
[27:29] Speaker 2: don't think she's chronically online. Dang, And I hope for
[27:33] Speaker 2: her sake that is the case. But so I posted
[27:38] Speaker 2: something about on Instagram that I think about all the
[27:41] Speaker 2: time and I got such an interesting response from it.
[27:44] Speaker 2: So I want to talk about that. But we're going
[27:46] Speaker 2: to take a break.
[28:03] Speaker 3: We're back, Yes, we are.
[28:07] Speaker 2: So I was talking about something that I think about.
[28:11] Speaker 2: I was laying about with Haley, and I was like,
[28:15] Speaker 2: how often do you think about sharks? Because I think
[28:19] Speaker 2: about sharks, I would say once a day at the
[28:22] Speaker 2: very least. I think about them all the time. Whether
[28:25] Speaker 2: I see videos about them, whether there's been like an
[28:28] Speaker 2: attack in Australia or something, and I read about it.
[28:30] Speaker 2: If I'm flying over water, I think about sharks like
[28:33] Speaker 2: it is a and I think about them just around
[28:37] Speaker 2: water in general. And if I'm not thinking about sharks,
[28:39] Speaker 2: something about like bears or mountain lions. I have like
[28:41] Speaker 2: a strong respect for wildlife, and Haley goes. I literally
[28:47] Speaker 2: don't think about them unless you bring them up like this.
[28:51] Speaker 3: So I don't think that. I can't tell you the
[28:53] Speaker 3: last time I thought about a shark. Wow. Even when
[28:55] Speaker 3: I'm in water, I don't think.
[28:56] Speaker 2: About sharks in the ocean.
[28:58] Speaker 3: In the ocean, I just swim. I think about fish,
[29:02] Speaker 3: not sharks.
[29:03] Speaker 2: Wow. What about you?
[29:04] Speaker 4: And with time you completely I never ever think about sharks.
[29:07] Speaker 3: Never what about other wildlife?
[29:09] Speaker 4: Never fish?
[29:10] Speaker 2: Like when you're hiking, you don't think.
[29:12] Speaker 4: About I'll think about coyotes, no mountains, But no, I
[29:16] Speaker 4: don't worry about mountain lions. I don't think about it.
[29:18] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's crazy.
[29:20] Speaker 3: Okay, so hikes, you know what, we can sidebar a
[29:22] Speaker 3: little bit. But like I'm all done with hiking. I
[29:24] Speaker 3: think what I think I've realized. I don't want to hike.
[29:29] Speaker 3: I'll go on a walk. I'll walk on nice pavement.
[29:31] Speaker 3: I don't need to be stomping around in the dirt
[29:34] Speaker 3: my dog, rolling around and getting all dirty, getting itchy
[29:38] Speaker 3: around my ankles.
[29:39] Speaker 2: Where are you going hiking around town in the brush
[29:44] Speaker 2: like in nature?
[29:45] Speaker 4: In nature day, every day of my life.
[29:48] Speaker 3: I'm done with it.
[29:49] Speaker 2: No hiking. I love hiking.
[29:51] Speaker 4: It's so much better for you than just straight pavement.
[29:54] Speaker 3: Done, good cardio done.
[29:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, I love hiking, but I'm thinking about the wildlife.
[29:59] Speaker 4: I'm not.
[30:00] Speaker 2: I think I saw a bobcat on a walk one
[30:03] Speaker 2: time a hike. Wow, yeah, saw it on the tree.
[30:06] Speaker 2: Pretty cute, dangerous.
[30:09] Speaker 1: But not a traumatic experience for you that it would
[30:11] Speaker 1: be constantly in your mind.
[30:13] Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no. But I did go home
[30:15] Speaker 2: and google mountain lions around us. But anyways, so I
[30:19] Speaker 2: asked the question how often people think about sharks on
[30:21] Speaker 2: my Instagram? Thinking that majority would be like y'all and Haley.
[30:26] Speaker 2: I would say fifty percent were Okay, people were like,
[30:30] Speaker 2: I haven't thought about it till reading this story, but
[30:34] Speaker 2: fifty percent. Another fifty percent said I think about them
[30:37] Speaker 2: all the time, Like I think about them so often.
[30:41] Speaker 2: One girl goes and if I'm not thinking about them,
[30:43] Speaker 2: I'm thinking about bears or a lot mountain cats. I
[30:47] Speaker 2: was like, wow, me too, So there's something I don't know.
[30:50] Speaker 2: If it was being exposed to jaws at a young age,
[30:52] Speaker 2: I was going to ask.
[30:53] Speaker 4: I wonder if that was it.
[30:55] Speaker 3: It might be a therapy situation.
[30:57] Speaker 2: Which I'll talk to her. I have that two days
[30:59] Speaker 2: from now, so I'll bring it up.
[31:00] Speaker 3: Because the thing is, when you think he's here's the
[31:04] Speaker 3: therapist in me. When you think about sharks, what comes up?
[31:07] Speaker 3: What feeling? Is it fear? Like you're scared of them?
[31:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, scared, but like respect for things that are bigger
[31:17] Speaker 2: and more powerful than me.
[31:20] Speaker 3: Interesting, huh.
[31:21] Speaker 4: I mean there is a reason that Shark Week is
[31:23] Speaker 4: a thing.
[31:24] Speaker 1: There's clearly a lot of people like you that think
[31:25] Speaker 1: about them are intrigued by them.
[31:27] Speaker 4: So that's why they do that.
[31:29] Speaker 2: Yeah, But my intrigue isn't like I want to go
[31:31] Speaker 2: swim with them, right, I want to be far from them.
[31:34] Speaker 2: It's fear.
[31:35] Speaker 3: I think there's fear respect.
[31:38] Speaker 2: I don't like to give fear that much power, but
[31:40] Speaker 2: I do have a respect that when I'm entering the ocean,
[31:43] Speaker 2: I am in their home and I need to stay
[31:46] Speaker 2: ankle deep, so we avoid each other. That's how I feel.
[31:52] Speaker 2: But Haley goes and just floats in the ocean like
[31:55] Speaker 2: as far as she can get, and it stresses me out.
[31:58] Speaker 2: We're going to the Bahamas for the podcast at the
[32:01] Speaker 2: end of February, and I'm already thinking about Haley swimming
[32:05] Speaker 2: in the ocean and the sharks.
[32:06] Speaker 3: I can tell you I have swamp swam in that ocean. Yeah,
[32:10] Speaker 3: swam in that ocean shark free. No, at least where
[32:14] Speaker 3: I was.
[32:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no, they're never You're never shark free in
[32:17] Speaker 2: the ocean. So anyways, it's something people think about. Someone
[32:20] Speaker 2: was like, sharks are your Roman Empire, and I was like,
[32:23] Speaker 2: they are my Roman Empire.
[32:24] Speaker 4: Oh whoa.
[32:26] Speaker 3: So anyways, there's a show that I am. I'm thoroughly
[32:32] Speaker 3: obsessed with right now, Traders.
[32:34] Speaker 2: Yes, okay, you've been obsessed with it for a few
[32:37] Speaker 2: years now.
[32:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't get enough of it. Uh huh. I
[32:43] Speaker 3: wish they gave us more episodes like I hate the
[32:45] Speaker 3: one by one.
[32:47] Speaker 2: Yeah. Haley is also a binger like you, and she
[32:50] Speaker 2: was saying, though it's been she was like, it's nice
[32:53] Speaker 2: watching it one end a time because it makes me
[32:55] Speaker 2: really appreciate and like zoning.
[32:59] Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish they I did two by two. That's
[33:01] Speaker 3: like my new thing, like give us two a week.
[33:06] Speaker 3: But and also there's like so much that they show,
[33:08] Speaker 3: so you know, when the people get kicked off or
[33:10] Speaker 3: when they get banished, they show them who the traders are,
[33:15] Speaker 3: Like they show them like the photos of who the
[33:16] Speaker 3: traders are, and then they have their reactions and they
[33:18] Speaker 3: post it on their Instagram. I'm like, that's something I
[33:20] Speaker 3: want to see on the show. Oh yeah, you know,
[33:23] Speaker 3: I want to see the people finding out who the
[33:25] Speaker 3: traders are. Like that's gold. Yeah, more so than the
[33:29] Speaker 3: the whatever they call them. The my gosh they go
[33:36] Speaker 3: on the missions. Thank you, oh my gosh.
[33:39] Speaker 2: Okay, what do you think about the season so far?
[33:45] Speaker 3: I'm obsessed with it, like fully upset. Okay you need
[33:49] Speaker 3: I know you didn't watch this last episode. But Rob
[33:53] Speaker 3: spoiler alert is the best trader, Like he's been playing
[33:56] Speaker 3: such a good game and this last episode he let
[33:59] Speaker 3: his heart get in the way. M hm, and I
[34:02] Speaker 3: think he made a big mistake.
[34:04] Speaker 2: Yeah I heard that, that's what Haley said.
[34:06] Speaker 3: Yeah, he voted for his own trade.
[34:09] Speaker 2: I know, and I think once you vote for a trader,
[34:11] Speaker 2: it all goes. When a trader trader is on a trader.
[34:13] Speaker 3: Yep, it goes, it goes downhill. And they were doing
[34:16] Speaker 3: so well, the three of them. I know, he screwed
[34:19] Speaker 3: it up because he was just listening to his heart.
[34:22] Speaker 2: You can't listen to your heart. You cannot listen to
[34:26] Speaker 2: get rid of your heart feelings.
[34:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, because he was feeling empathy and like sadness for Ron.
[34:33] Speaker 3: He and then he just backed himself into a corner
[34:35] Speaker 3: because he's like, Colton's my biggest ally that everybody was
[34:37] Speaker 3: basically voting for Ron, Colton or Lisa, and he out
[34:41] Speaker 3: loud was like, I don't believe Ron's a trader. And
[34:43] Speaker 3: then Colton's like his biggest ally and then obviously nobody
[34:47] Speaker 3: knows he and Lisa are traders, so you know what
[34:50] Speaker 3: I mean. So I had to vote for Lisa, and
[34:52] Speaker 3: I'm like, no, you didn't know.
[34:53] Speaker 2: Now, Lisa's like, no, trust with you.
[34:57] Speaker 3: No, you're never going to get that back. No, once
[34:59] Speaker 3: it's out of toothpaste bottle, you cannot put it back in.
[35:02] Speaker 2: It's true.
[35:04] Speaker 3: Yeah, So he's like he should have voted for Ron
[35:06] Speaker 3: it would have been nothing and he could have gone
[35:09] Speaker 3: about his day.
[35:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, so what do you think is gonna happen now?
[35:13] Speaker 3: So I've heard this next episode that comes out this
[35:16] Speaker 3: week is like is Trader's in Trader's History. Alan Cummings said,
[35:21] Speaker 3: it's like one of the best episodes that they've ever had. Wow,
[35:25] Speaker 3: it's the banquet.
[35:27] Speaker 2: What's that?
[35:28] Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know. I think they have
[35:30] Speaker 3: to murder and plain sight at a banquet. Wow. But
[35:34] Speaker 3: they're like not talking to each other, Rob and Lisa,
[35:37] Speaker 3: So it's gonna be like total mayhem.
[35:40] Speaker 2: Well they're gonna have to talk to each other. Dun
[35:43] Speaker 2: dun dum. It's so good. Yeah, it's a good season
[35:47] Speaker 2: so far. This is a different subject. But when you
[35:52] Speaker 2: have Okay, is Robbie strict about if the kids you
[35:56] Speaker 2: swear words?
[35:57] Speaker 3: No?
[35:58] Speaker 2: So do they do. They swears here.
[36:01] Speaker 3: And there, but like they don't like use it in
[36:04] Speaker 3: their like day to day. They're not like dropping curse words.
[36:10] Speaker 3: But if matter something, if they say something like, he's
[36:13] Speaker 3: not like putting them in time out.
[36:15] Speaker 2: Okay, So when when y'all have a child, will you
[36:18] Speaker 2: be strict about that?
[36:20] Speaker 3: I don't know, because the kids are so good. You
[36:23] Speaker 3: know what I mean that I think it's better. I
[36:25] Speaker 3: think this approach is better.
[36:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, Mark, what were your rules about?
[36:29] Speaker 1: We never really had rules. It was never a punishable offense.
[36:32] Speaker 1: Eventually they would hear them, I know, elementary to middle school.
[36:35] Speaker 1: It was a big moment. They learn a lot when
[36:38] Speaker 1: transition happened, and it's fine. They pop out from time
[36:41] Speaker 1: to time now and I don't love it personally, but
[36:44] Speaker 1: it's fine.
[36:44] Speaker 4: I mean, one's an adult, Like what am I gonna do?
[36:47] Speaker 5: Well?
[36:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I just meant like growing.
[36:49] Speaker 4: Up there, No, it was never a harsh thing.
[36:51] Speaker 1: But they also never really abused it either, right, we
[36:53] Speaker 1: weren't strict about that.
[36:54] Speaker 5: Well.
[36:55] Speaker 2: I grew up where I couldn't I couldn't say fart,
[36:58] Speaker 2: I couldn't say I couldn't say yeah. So I grew
[37:02] Speaker 2: up very very strict thoughts and like rule parameters around
[37:09] Speaker 2: curse words. I thought, like literally until second grade, someone
[37:13] Speaker 2: said something about the F word and I thought they
[37:15] Speaker 2: were talking about fart because I didn't even know what
[37:18] Speaker 2: the other F word was. But my parents didn't do
[37:21] Speaker 2: a curse in front of us, so like, unless I
[37:23] Speaker 2: heard it outside of that, I didn't know, and still
[37:26] Speaker 2: I'll say stuff Now, like Haley grew up totally opposite.
[37:30] Speaker 2: There was no boundaries on like I mean, I'm sure
[37:32] Speaker 2: her parents won't let her like curse at them, but
[37:36] Speaker 2: there weren't really any rules around it. And so now
[37:39] Speaker 2: like when she's been around my parents, I'm like, you
[37:42] Speaker 2: have to we have to start like a swear drawer
[37:44] Speaker 2: a week before so that happen. But there's like all
[37:50] Speaker 2: this this stuff about parents being less uptight about their
[37:53] Speaker 2: kids using swear words now. So it's always funny because
[37:56] Speaker 2: I do see people have conversations where they grew up
[37:59] Speaker 2: like me and like words that like fart and but
[38:02] Speaker 2: and everything were curse words. But then there's other people
[38:06] Speaker 2: who had no, you know, limitations on it.
[38:08] Speaker 3: So yeah, and I feel like when I was a kid,
[38:10] Speaker 3: I didn't really have limitations on it either.
[38:12] Speaker 2: Like why do I picture you as a teenager being
[38:15] Speaker 2: like if you mom, I.
[38:18] Speaker 3: Don't think I had a big I don't think I
[38:21] Speaker 3: had a potty mouth until my adult years.
[38:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, like even if I curse, Like if I curse,
[38:29] Speaker 2: and it's like I'm really mean it. Haley's like, WHOA
[38:33] Speaker 2: Like that is? So I'm so hearing you say that,
[38:35] Speaker 2: I feel.
[38:36] Speaker 3: Like when you don't use them, when you use them,
[38:38] Speaker 3: it has more of an impact, which is kind of
[38:40] Speaker 3: what I'm going for these days.
[38:41] Speaker 2: Yeah, like if you need to say it and get
[38:43] Speaker 2: it out, Yeah, this is when yes, yeah, well my
[38:46] Speaker 2: thing is the association I have at was when I
[38:50] Speaker 2: hear people just constantly use words like that, it almost
[38:55] Speaker 2: makes what the point of what they're trying to say
[38:58] Speaker 2: less impactful to me, unless it's like passionate. And sometimes
[39:03] Speaker 2: I watch people use like really passion a lot of
[39:05] Speaker 2: passion with it, and I'm like, yeah, you have to
[39:07] Speaker 2: use that word for this. But if someone's just having
[39:10] Speaker 2: a conversation they're constantly using curse words, it like dumbs
[39:13] Speaker 2: down the conversation to.
[39:14] Speaker 3: Me, right, No, I understand what you're saying.
[39:16] Speaker 2: Okay, yeah I don't.
[39:18] Speaker 4: Anyways, gen Z is into right now.
[39:20] Speaker 1: One of the phrases they're saying a lot is charge
[39:23] Speaker 1: fah without the ending on it, because then they can't
[39:27] Speaker 1: they can't get in trouble for that at school whole work, And.
[39:32] Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, yeah, man, I feel bad for teachers.
[39:37] Speaker 2: Right yeah.
[39:38] Speaker 4: Between that and.
[39:41] Speaker 3: My new word is charge it and what is it?
[39:44] Speaker 2: What does that mean is it she has to look
[39:47] Speaker 2: it up.
[39:48] Speaker 3: If you have to look at it, doesn't feel like
[39:49] Speaker 3: it's naturally, It's gonna come naturally at some point. It
[39:52] Speaker 3: means go for it. Do it, take the risk? Charge it?
[39:55] Speaker 3: Charge it the game.
[39:57] Speaker 2: Where'd you hear about it or see about itland? Oh? Okay,
[40:01] Speaker 2: I see.
[40:03] Speaker 3: I keep saying charge it, charge it to the game.
[40:06] Speaker 3: I'm like, I love it. Charge it. So if you
[40:09] Speaker 3: hear me saying that, I don't really know what it
[40:11] Speaker 3: means yet, so I can't quite use it in my
[40:15] Speaker 3: daily vocabulary. But you better watch out once I clock it,
[40:19] Speaker 3: charge it.
[40:19] Speaker 2: Clock It sounds more natural from you clock it.
[40:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's not the thing.
[40:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, charge it? Okay, but you're using a weird accent
[40:28] Speaker 2: with it.
[40:29] Speaker 3: Charge it well, because it's the love island UK. Oh,
[40:33] Speaker 3: so they have their like accent. Charge it, charge it
[40:37] Speaker 3: to the game.
[40:38] Speaker 2: What if you say it in your just how you speak?
[40:40] Speaker 3: Charge it? Oh that's good. It doesn't pack the punch.
[40:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't see you using it for a
[40:47] Speaker 2: long time.
[40:47] Speaker 3: Charge it to the game. I wish you were watching
[40:51] Speaker 3: that too.
[40:52] Speaker 2: No, I'm only I'm only I'm limited to a certain
[40:56] Speaker 2: amount of shows I can watch it. One time I
[40:58] Speaker 2: speaking of, while I was in New York, I was
[41:00] Speaker 2: watching old episodes of Grey's Anatomy. Man, that show used
[41:05] Speaker 2: to be hit. It was incredible TV. It was the
[41:11] Speaker 2: way I was watching, the way it was shot, like
[41:13] Speaker 2: the camera angles, like the coloring. Everything just felt so
[41:18] Speaker 2: real raw. No, it's too vibrant now. The way it's
[41:22] Speaker 2: shot right now, so bright and four K and you're like, wait,
[41:26] Speaker 2: am I in the hospital with them? But man, it
[41:31] Speaker 2: is so good made me want to just start watching
[41:33] Speaker 2: it all over again.
[41:34] Speaker 3: You know what we should do that We never follow
[41:36] Speaker 3: up on coffee with Camilla.
[41:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, let's reach out and see yeah last time we saw.
[41:46] Speaker 2: Last time we saw Camilla, she said she wanted to
[41:48] Speaker 2: get dinner or coffee or.
[41:50] Speaker 3: Something, and I was like, when do you want it?
[41:52] Speaker 3: She's like after Thanksgiving? Yeah, well after the holiday. Yeah,
[41:59] Speaker 3: but I never know, Like, and I'm also guilty of
[42:02] Speaker 3: it too. I'm like, yeah, let's grab coffee, like if
[42:04] Speaker 3: you see someone or whatever. And then I'm like, oh,
[42:06] Speaker 3: and it comes down to it, I'm just like, I'm
[42:07] Speaker 3: just tired, yeah, but I mean it, like I do
[42:12] Speaker 3: want to get coffee with you, like I miss you,
[42:13] Speaker 3: and like, whenever I.
[42:15] Speaker 1: Think Camilla's tired, She's been through a lot. I mean,
[42:17] Speaker 1: she was in the hospital, she was unconscious for a
[42:20] Speaker 1: long time.
[42:21] Speaker 4: Her babies are going to be okay. But I bet
[42:23] Speaker 4: she's exhausted.
[42:24] Speaker 3: Maybe I give her a couple more yeah, I would, Yeah, yeah,
[42:27] Speaker 3: give her a few more weeks before we reach out.
[42:29] Speaker 3: I don't know, man, I'm going to reach out coffee
[42:33] Speaker 3: with Camilla. Yeah, you know what I started watching that
[42:36] Speaker 3: was really cute, actually his ponies.
[42:38] Speaker 2: Oh I heard. I heard it was cute. Yeah, but
[42:40] Speaker 2: I heard it takes a couple of episodes to get
[42:42] Speaker 2: into it.
[42:43] Speaker 3: First episode I was in h Well, yeah, I tend
[42:46] Speaker 3: to Robbie doesn't love it, so might it might be
[42:49] Speaker 3: a solo watch from now on.
[42:50] Speaker 2: Well, lots of solo endeavors for you. No, no, no,
[42:54] Speaker 2: just that. Oh I thought he was off Love Island.
[42:56] Speaker 2: He's off.
[42:56] Speaker 3: He's off, but he'll have it on, like he'll like,
[42:59] Speaker 3: he like, I can have it all here. He allows you
[43:01] Speaker 3: to watch, well he allows, but he also is watching
[43:04] Speaker 3: it and he's like, oh what happened when I miss.
[43:06] Speaker 2: Like oh yeah, yeah, it's hard to have a show
[43:08] Speaker 2: on and not care not show interest when something interesting.
[43:12] Speaker 3: Happens, I know, especially when we know all these people. Yeah,
[43:16] Speaker 3: back for around two and three and four.
[43:20] Speaker 2: Well that's it for today, you guys. We will be
[43:22] Speaker 2: back on Thursday with a Dear Bonya.
[43:25] Speaker 3: Oh, can I give you a tease for Thursdays share
[43:27] Speaker 3: the call with a question on ya.
[43:30] Speaker 1: It's about that Easton has put together using your vocals.
[43:35] Speaker 1: He's added music to it to make a jingle for
[43:37] Speaker 1: dear Banya. Well I can will debut it on Thursday.
[43:41] Speaker 2: We love we love you all. I hope you have
[43:46] Speaker 2: a wonderful week and we will be back on Thursday.
[43:50] Speaker 2: We love you, love you Bye.
