[0:00] Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
[0:04] Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning.
[0:07] Speaker 2: Podcast, Hello everybody, We are scrubbing it. We are back.
[0:17] Speaker 3: It is the year twenty twenty six.
[0:19] Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six. It came quick. It came like a
[0:23] Speaker 2: thief in the night.
[0:24] Speaker 4: It came like a storm.
[0:27] Speaker 5: She can.
[0:30] Speaker 6: Our first beef of the year. Yeah, felt good.
[0:33] Speaker 2: Yeah, she came in hot. She did come in hot.
[0:37] Speaker 3: She came in hot.
[0:38] Speaker 2: We took last week off due to medical emergency. Yes,
[0:43] Speaker 2: our dear Tanya. Everyone was very concerned about you. I
[0:45] Speaker 2: was getting messages left and right, what's going on with Tanya?
[0:49] Speaker 6: The Facebook group was a muck Is that the right word?
[0:55] Speaker 4: I think it kind of works. They're running, they're running.
[0:58] Speaker 5: A look with.
[1:01] Speaker 4: Oh wow, all a tizzy you were.
[1:04] Speaker 3: Yeah, it was actually really It's so interesting because I
[1:10] Speaker 3: wasn't on social media. We are obviously on winter break,
[1:13] Speaker 3: Christmas break what you call it, from work, and I
[1:19] Speaker 3: was just going through it. So I wasn't really on
[1:20] Speaker 3: my socials, and you don't really think anybody notices, but
[1:23] Speaker 3: like I was getting so many dms just around like
[1:26] Speaker 3: Christmas and around New Year's which I found to be
[1:29] Speaker 3: like so interesting, you know, Like I was like, I'm
[1:31] Speaker 3: just on Instagram every day and you don't think people
[1:34] Speaker 3: notice until.
[1:35] Speaker 2: Well I think if I wasn't on there, they wouldn't
[1:37] Speaker 2: notice because I'll just go ghosts for like days or weeks.
[1:41] Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're on, You're consistent. Yeah, I don't go
[1:43] Speaker 3: so you're a part of Ghoster, but you're a part.
[1:45] Speaker 2: Of people's daily lives on Instagram, right, So when you
[1:50] Speaker 2: go ghosts, yeah, people are concerned.
[1:53] Speaker 3: Yes, and there was reason to be concerned, and.
[1:57] Speaker 6: There certainly was certainly was reason concerned.
[2:01] Speaker 3: I can't get into the specifics because I have spent
[2:06] Speaker 3: the last three weeks just crying and so emotional. So
[2:09] Speaker 3: I'm like excited to be back and be at work
[2:12] Speaker 3: and like have a distraction. But it was we spent
[2:19] Speaker 3: Christmas alone. We canceled our plans, like I've just been home.
[2:24] Speaker 3: I've just been home. And it was a really crazy
[2:29] Speaker 3: couple of weeks that did culminate into emergency surgery, which
[2:34] Speaker 3: is very crazy. I don't even have you ever had
[2:38] Speaker 3: like an elective surgery or like a scheduled surgery.
[2:42] Speaker 1: I had my appendix out when I was seven, that
[2:45] Speaker 1: counts kind of. I barely remember, but I had my
[2:48] Speaker 1: nose deviated septum done, okay, so that was kind of.
[2:53] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:54] Speaker 1: I feel like that's not even like worth mentioning compared
[2:57] Speaker 1: to what you've gone through, because I.
[2:59] Speaker 3: Do feel like just being in like an operating room,
[3:02] Speaker 3: like the whole thing was.
[3:03] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it's scary.
[3:05] Speaker 3: It's so scary, and like when it is an emergency,
[3:08] Speaker 3: they're running through all the things that like could go
[3:11] Speaker 3: wrong because like legally they have to do that, you know,
[3:14] Speaker 3: and you're already so scared and so vulnerable. So it's
[3:17] Speaker 3: all just like it feels like everything is going a
[3:19] Speaker 3: million miles an hour. There's like fifteen people around you.
[3:23] Speaker 3: You have to do certain things alone. So I was
[3:25] Speaker 3: just like, especially the surgery, you know what I mean,
[3:27] Speaker 3: Like nobody could go in there with me, and so
[3:29] Speaker 3: it's just like you're alone. There's all these people like
[3:32] Speaker 3: holding and tugging, and like it was just like such
[3:36] Speaker 3: a crazy, crazy experience, Like I will never forget it.
[3:42] Speaker 3: But the doctors and the nurses at the er that
[3:45] Speaker 3: I was dealing with, we're so unbelievably kind and like
[3:52] Speaker 3: tender to me, because you know, everybody wears like the
[3:55] Speaker 3: masks in the ear and then they pulled me into
[3:57] Speaker 3: my room to kind of tell me what was going on.
[3:59] Speaker 3: They all like took their mind asks off so that
[4:00] Speaker 3: I could like see them, see them, you know what
[4:03] Speaker 3: I mean, Like I don't know, it just like made
[4:05] Speaker 3: it more like per personal. But man, they were all
[4:09] Speaker 3: just like so so kind to me, and I'm just like,
[4:12] Speaker 3: I'm one of probably two or three hundred people that
[4:16] Speaker 3: are going to see in this shift, and they made
[4:18] Speaker 3: me feel like I was the only patient in there,
[4:21] Speaker 3: and like it was just like so crazy.
[4:24] Speaker 4: Plus we've all seen so many medical shows.
[4:26] Speaker 1: It's tough to be the one on the gurney the
[4:30] Speaker 1: bad looking up at the doctor.
[4:32] Speaker 4: That's such a scary.
[4:33] Speaker 1: Thing, even for a colonoscopy that I've had a few of.
[4:36] Speaker 1: To me, even that scary because I'm in the sterile
[4:38] Speaker 1: room and they're putting that stuff in your hand to
[4:40] Speaker 1: make you go to sleep, and you feel it's starting
[4:41] Speaker 1: to work, and you're like, oh God, hope everything goes okay.
[4:45] Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, I still, I mean, you can't really
[4:46] Speaker 3: see anymore. But I had like a pretty giant bruise there,
[4:51] Speaker 3: but I was I gonna say, oh yeah, So I
[4:56] Speaker 3: like don't like a lot of drugs, Like I try
[4:58] Speaker 3: to like air on the side of like no omeds.
[5:00] Speaker 3: And it was very funny like as the night went
[5:02] Speaker 3: on in the emergency room, like they're like, we're gonna
[5:04] Speaker 3: give you like a little something, and I was like,
[5:05] Speaker 3: I just want the bare minimum, Like what the least
[5:07] Speaker 3: thing that you can give me, like give me And
[5:09] Speaker 3: then like as it went on and like I found
[5:11] Speaker 3: out I needed like emergency surgery, they were like, we're
[5:13] Speaker 3: gonna give you some of the hard stuff. I was like, please,
[5:16] Speaker 3: please just give me whatever.
[5:18] Speaker 2: I was like texting Tanya, I go let me know
[5:20] Speaker 2: if you want me to come and play Gray's Anatomy
[5:22] Speaker 2: with you, think of the content we could get.
[5:30] Speaker 6: I was just trying to lighten the mood.
[5:31] Speaker 2: But it really is like doctors and nurses are amazing. Yeah,
[5:36] Speaker 2: like what they just the sacrifice that they make to
[5:39] Speaker 2: do that job. But then during the holiday season and missing.
[5:43] Speaker 3: Time, yeah, like I'm like I asked them all, I'm like,
[5:46] Speaker 3: are you awake, Like how awake?
[5:48] Speaker 4: Do you just remember?
[5:49] Speaker 3: Being like how tired are you right now? Like are
[5:51] Speaker 3: you good? Like can I buy coffees? For everybody. Like
[5:54] Speaker 3: I just remember being like, because it was so late,
[5:57] Speaker 3: I'm like I would be asleep right now. Well that's
[5:59] Speaker 3: probably they probably that's the name of the game. Yeah,
[6:02] Speaker 3: that's the night shift. Yeah, yeah, that was like I
[6:05] Speaker 3: was very concerned about everybody's awakeness, Like can we.
[6:09] Speaker 2: Push this a few hours for the morning shift to
[6:11] Speaker 2: come in.
[6:14] Speaker 3: It's nice to laugh about it. It's nice to like
[6:17] Speaker 3: laugh because it's just been it's been very heavy, and
[6:21] Speaker 3: like the weirdest thing of it all is like I've
[6:24] Speaker 3: fallen even more in love with Robbie than ever before.
[6:27] Speaker 3: He's come to every appointment and he's everything, like a
[6:32] Speaker 3: bum and beyond, and he got us these like necklaces
[6:38] Speaker 3: that are like dependent, like he wears my sign and
[6:42] Speaker 3: I wear his zodiac sign and we have them on
[6:44] Speaker 3: a so that we're always together no matter what, and
[6:47] Speaker 3: like it was just a love and he I couldn't.
[6:51] Speaker 6: Have asked for a better partner.
[6:53] Speaker 2: So anyways, that's a little bit about me.
[6:56] Speaker 1: You could tell in the carousel you posted, most of
[7:00] Speaker 1: which were Robbie that he was just on it.
[7:02] Speaker 4: He was just there and on it.
[7:03] Speaker 2: And like I am just I really you really hope
[7:11] Speaker 2: that your best friend finds like a good partner, you know,
[7:14] Speaker 2: like you really just hope that they're good and they're
[7:16] Speaker 2: treated well. Robbie is like the definition of like a teammate.
[7:21] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[7:22] Speaker 6: I remember what we talked about.
[7:23] Speaker 2: Was it Chelsea Handler when she was here, and really
[7:26] Speaker 2: he's a partner work out.
[7:28] Speaker 4: No, he wasn't a.
[7:29] Speaker 6: Partner, but Robbie is a partner.
[7:32] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[7:32] Speaker 2: And y'all are such a like team together and y'all
[7:34] Speaker 2: work together. It's like really really beautiful from I mean,
[7:39] Speaker 2: obviously I'm close with y'all.
[7:40] Speaker 3: So and like I felt so guilty because I'm like
[7:42] Speaker 3: I couldn't hold up my end of the partnership because
[7:45] Speaker 3: I was just like physically unable to for like a while,
[7:48] Speaker 3: and he was because he was just doing everything, but
[7:50] Speaker 3: he wouldn't let me, Like he wouldn't let me lift
[7:52] Speaker 3: a dish. I'm like, I can do a dish.
[7:54] Speaker 6: Like sickness and health baby.
[7:56] Speaker 3: Yeah. So anyways, that's a little bit about me. I
[8:00] Speaker 3: didn't go on any trips. I didn't see anybody else,
[8:03] Speaker 3: just home. I watched a lot of TV, which we
[8:04] Speaker 3: can discuss at some point.
[8:05] Speaker 6: Yes, you needed rest.
[8:08] Speaker 3: Yeah, rest, I got it.
[8:09] Speaker 2: It wasn't the rest you were expecting or the way
[8:13] Speaker 2: you expected to get it. But I think your body said,
[8:16] Speaker 2: we're doing this rest.
[8:18] Speaker 4: So where were you at midnight? New Year's Eve? Where
[8:20] Speaker 4: were you?
[8:21] Speaker 3: We stayed home. FOI always get insurance when you buy
[8:26] Speaker 3: your flights, because that was another oh wrench in the system.
[8:33] Speaker 3: We we spent New Year's Eve with my in laws.
[8:38] Speaker 3: We were playing cards, and then at midnight we watched
[8:41] Speaker 3: The Ball Drop and then we watched the new episode
[8:43] Speaker 3: of Stranger Things. Oh nice, in our pajamas.
[8:46] Speaker 4: Two hours that episode. Yeah you up late?
[8:49] Speaker 3: Two well?
[8:50] Speaker 6: Rage?
[8:51] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[8:51] Speaker 3: Raged?
[8:52] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[8:53] Speaker 6: What did you do over the holidays?
[8:54] Speaker 5: Mark?
[8:54] Speaker 4: Thank you so much for asking.
[8:55] Speaker 1: We were in Wisconsin ten days at really nice time,
[8:58] Speaker 1: got a little bit of snow, wasn't too terribly cold,
[9:01] Speaker 1: so a lot of family. Pretty standard Christmas for us,
[9:04] Speaker 1: but we had a very good time.
[9:05] Speaker 6: It rained there, a little bit of rain was.
[9:07] Speaker 1: Chicago and pouring rain, so lay in Chicago. There was
[9:11] Speaker 1: the Night Before Christmas show that was phenomenal, really phenomenal show.
[9:16] Speaker 3: Favorite show you see that one specifically, no no, no, sorry.
[9:20] Speaker 4: Movie, oh.
[9:23] Speaker 1: No, not the Nightmare Before Christmas. It was a circulay
[9:26] Speaker 1: show called twas the night before.
[9:28] Speaker 3: Oh, that doesn't sound good at all, Like the.
[9:30] Speaker 1: Poem was the night before Christmas and altered the house.
[9:33] Speaker 1: I thought it was before Christmas. Nothing to do with
[9:35] Speaker 1: tim or any of that. But it was a phenomenal show.
[9:39] Speaker 1: My whole family was so sad when it was over,
[9:41] Speaker 1: Like it was just it was so great to watch.
[9:43] Speaker 1: I would just look to my left and all three
[9:45] Speaker 1: of my girls in my family or just eyes wide
[9:48] Speaker 1: smiles on their faces, and it was just exactly what
[9:51] Speaker 1: you want from the show.
[9:52] Speaker 4: It was great.
[9:52] Speaker 3: I love that.
[9:53] Speaker 1: Oh, wa had a really nice time. I think of
[9:55] Speaker 1: New Year's Eve, we stayed home. My wife wasn't feeling well,
[9:57] Speaker 1: so we stayed in and watched a little bit.
[10:00] Speaker 4: Oh we watched the j Kelly, the George Clearing movie
[10:02] Speaker 4: Ja Kelly. That was the New Year's Eve.
[10:03] Speaker 5: Oh, how was that?
[10:04] Speaker 4: I loved it?
[10:04] Speaker 5: What is that on?
[10:06] Speaker 4: It's on Netflix? Oh, and I really enjoyed it.
[10:08] Speaker 3: I haven't saying anything about it.
[10:10] Speaker 1: And then my honestly until the oh, he's great, Adam
[10:15] Speaker 1: Sandler's great in it. It's Elvis's granddaughter Riley Key in it.
[10:22] Speaker 1: But then my daughter's plans fell through and she was
[10:24] Speaker 1: home before midnight, and then my other daughter's plans. She
[10:26] Speaker 1: came home after midnight, so we're all together, even though
[10:29] Speaker 1: that was never the plan.
[10:30] Speaker 5: That's special.
[10:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was nice.
[10:32] Speaker 6: That's special.
[10:33] Speaker 3: What'd you do? You went home? You were a little
[10:35] Speaker 3: You're busy.
[10:37] Speaker 2: It was a busy little bee. I went to Florida
[10:40] Speaker 2: for Christmas. I went on Christmas Eve. I took Phoebe,
[10:43] Speaker 2: which was an absolute nightmare. Like I haven't taken her
[10:47] Speaker 2: on a fight since she was like before she was
[10:51] Speaker 2: even a year old. And I was like, she's so
[10:54] Speaker 2: calm and she's eight, she's so mature. I'm talking. She
[10:59] Speaker 2: was cratching and squealing the whole flight. I was like,
[11:04] Speaker 2: everyone hates me. It's early, everyone's just trying to get
[11:07] Speaker 2: where they're going, and I have this flight too. Well,
[11:10] Speaker 2: there's no direct flight, so it's separate. So I flew
[11:13] Speaker 2: to Austin. Oh, okay, anytime with her doing that was
[11:17] Speaker 2: a long time though, too long. So that was really
[11:21] Speaker 2: hard because I was by myself and I'm just like
[11:23] Speaker 2: texting Haley just out of panic, not really expecting her
[11:26] Speaker 2: to do anything.
[11:27] Speaker 6: Tanya had ubered.
[11:29] Speaker 2: Me some Trasidon, which I was like, she'll be knocked out.
[11:32] Speaker 2: I think it made her. Apparently they can.
[11:34] Speaker 3: Have a That's crazy because anytime we give Sonny her trassy,
[11:38] Speaker 3: she is high as a kite.
[11:40] Speaker 2: She bought chill, fought like hell, She fall like hell
[11:44] Speaker 2: against it.
[11:45] Speaker 3: It's so crazy.
[11:47] Speaker 2: And so then on this second flight, I just took
[11:51] Speaker 2: her out and they, I think the flight attendants were
[11:54] Speaker 2: just like, she's being fine on her lap, so just
[11:57] Speaker 2: leave it.
[11:57] Speaker 4: You know.
[11:58] Speaker 3: That's so interesting. Whenever I put Sony my lap there
[12:01] Speaker 3: on me like a hawk, things she got. She gotta
[12:03] Speaker 3: go back in her.
[12:04] Speaker 2: Well when the whole plane is stressed because this one
[12:07] Speaker 2: dog is like squealing loud with no relief. They said whatever,
[12:14] Speaker 2: And then I went home. And then Haley came after
[12:16] Speaker 2: Chris the day after Christmas to Florida. It was her
[12:19] Speaker 2: first time to Florida, where my parents lived, so it
[12:23] Speaker 2: was fun.
[12:23] Speaker 6: We had beautiful weather.
[12:25] Speaker 2: Weirdly it was so we went to the beach, so
[12:27] Speaker 2: she got to see the beaches there that are so beautiful,
[12:30] Speaker 2: and we just hang out with my parents and my
[12:32] Speaker 2: sister Henk, and then we went to we went and
[12:34] Speaker 2: saw the Housemaid.
[12:37] Speaker 3: Is it good?
[12:37] Speaker 6: It's did you see it? It's so good? And a
[12:41] Speaker 6: lot of people have read here.
[12:43] Speaker 3: It's good you haven't read the book, right, uh uh?
[12:46] Speaker 2: I'm torn because reading the book was like the coolest
[12:49] Speaker 2: experience book. But people seeing the movie without knowing what
[12:52] Speaker 2: happened is also really fun. Because Haley and Henk hadn't
[12:55] Speaker 2: seen it, my mom and I had seen it, so
[12:58] Speaker 2: I was kind of just like watching them to their reaction.
[13:01] Speaker 2: So I don't even know if i'd recommend, I would
[13:03] Speaker 2: just go see it. I don't even think you need
[13:05] Speaker 2: to read the book.
[13:06] Speaker 3: Was I gonna read the book?
[13:07] Speaker 4: Book?
[13:08] Speaker 2: Let me just spare you.
[13:11] Speaker 3: Boiler alert. I was not going to read the book.
[13:13] Speaker 6: The book is so good, but I loved it. A
[13:18] Speaker 6: lot of people who read.
[13:19] Speaker 3: Looking over saying, let me tell you, just to watch
[13:22] Speaker 3: it is the best thing ever.
[13:23] Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know if you wanted a break from
[13:25] Speaker 2: screen time.
[13:26] Speaker 3: Nah, more screen time than better is what I say.
[13:29] Speaker 3: Twenty six Oh I like that. Yeah, just bring on
[13:33] Speaker 3: the screen time, good kid.
[13:34] Speaker 6: I've had kid mentality.
[13:36] Speaker 3: At one point over the break, I think I had
[13:37] Speaker 3: three screens going. I had my TV on, I was
[13:40] Speaker 3: doing something online, and I had my phone going wow, yeah.
[13:44] Speaker 2: Wow, let's bring them on. Have you watched people we
[13:47] Speaker 2: met on vacation.
[13:48] Speaker 5: There's so much.
[13:49] Speaker 3: I've watched that I would like to get into after
[13:52] Speaker 3: like maybe a little bit of a break, and maybe
[13:55] Speaker 3: we discussed the Golden Globes because Okay, there's just so
[13:58] Speaker 3: much to get into.
[14:00] Speaker 2: Well, I'm not done with my vacation plans. So anyways,
[14:03] Speaker 2: we come back.
[14:05] Speaker 6: We came back. Maybe it was a night I gave her.
[14:08] Speaker 2: Someone wrote me and goes, my Pomeranian does the same
[14:11] Speaker 2: thing on trasidone.
[14:12] Speaker 6: Try these chews. So I ordered these chews to my.
[14:14] Speaker 2: Parents' house from Amazon, so specifically to that drug.
[14:18] Speaker 5: A legend.
[14:18] Speaker 6: No, it wasn't. She fought through those.
[14:23] Speaker 2: The people in the flight back were like way more chill.
[14:25] Speaker 2: They just let me hold her basically the whole time.
[14:30] Speaker 2: And then we got home. We did vision boards on
[14:32] Speaker 2: New Year's Eve, and then Haley's dad wrote in the.
[14:34] Speaker 3: Rose Bowl parade, so he got that seems like a
[14:39] Speaker 3: lifetime ago. I'm not kidding because I was like so
[14:42] Speaker 3: excited about her dad being on this parade, But that
[14:45] Speaker 3: literally feels like it was a month ago.
[14:47] Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
[14:48] Speaker 2: So her dad is a double transplant recipient. He had
[14:53] Speaker 2: a heart and liver transplant in twenty and seventeen, and
[14:57] Speaker 2: so he was on the Legacy for Life Flow and
[15:01] Speaker 2: we had been talking about that. We were all gonna
[15:03] Speaker 2: go obviously for months when he found out, and of
[15:06] Speaker 2: course it's like pouring rain and cold. It wasn't too cold,
[15:09] Speaker 2: but pouring renny cold chilli.
[15:11] Speaker 4: First time in twenty years y New Year's rosel prey,
[15:14] Speaker 4: so you know.
[15:17] Speaker 6: Was I was.
[15:18] Speaker 2: I also, by the by the way, you have to
[15:21] Speaker 2: be there early at the parade, so we woke up
[15:24] Speaker 2: at five point thirty. I checked my phone just to
[15:27] Speaker 2: make sure the preid was still on.
[15:29] Speaker 6: It's the praise so lock.
[15:30] Speaker 3: They probably would have canceled it there was if there
[15:32] Speaker 3: was lightning or something.
[15:34] Speaker 2: I think if there was the lightning. But there's no
[15:35] Speaker 2: way they'd canceled because because there's so much planning.
[15:38] Speaker 6: Ye I go all you that, so many roses, so
[15:41] Speaker 6: many roses.
[15:42] Speaker 2: So we went down. We were all in ponchos, drenched
[15:45] Speaker 2: in the rain. I have to say, it was so
[15:47] Speaker 2: much fun to see him on the like it was
[15:49] Speaker 2: a thrill to see him on the float. But I
[15:53] Speaker 2: was looking around and obviously we were there to watch him,
[15:56] Speaker 2: but I was looking at all these people who were
[15:58] Speaker 2: just there to see the prey sitting in the rain.
[16:02] Speaker 6: I was like, what are y'all doing?
[16:04] Speaker 3: Go home?
[16:07] Speaker 2: But I honestly was like inspired. I was like, I
[16:09] Speaker 2: love the dedication. This is a tradition for people. They
[16:12] Speaker 2: come from all over the world. There were there was
[16:14] Speaker 2: a band from Japan in there.
[16:16] Speaker 3: I remember because I'm watching your Instagram stories and I
[16:18] Speaker 3: was like, why do none of them have umbrellas? They're
[16:20] Speaker 3: just like letting the rain soak that right now. I'm like,
[16:25] Speaker 3: if everybody had an umbrella, that would be such a hazard.
[16:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, it has never been canceled for rain. Their motto
[16:31] Speaker 1: is rain or shine. Only two events in the history
[16:33] Speaker 1: have ever canceled the Rose Parade.
[16:35] Speaker 4: Can you name them?
[16:36] Speaker 6: Two events?
[16:37] Speaker 4: COVID COVID was one of them.
[16:39] Speaker 3: Dang, I win. Earthquake, don't tell us yet? Strike?
[16:50] Speaker 6: Was it old or were we alive?
[16:51] Speaker 4: Nope?
[16:52] Speaker 3: Oh, we weren't alive. Was it like Reagan something?
[16:57] Speaker 6: An assassination?
[17:00] Speaker 4: Deascination?
[17:00] Speaker 2: No?
[17:02] Speaker 6: Was it an earthquake.
[17:03] Speaker 1: It's been going on since eighteen ninety by the way,
[17:05] Speaker 1: so we got plenty of runway here to play with.
[17:07] Speaker 4: But I got one, yeah, one.
[17:08] Speaker 6: It wasn't an earthquake.
[17:09] Speaker 4: It was not an earthquake.
[17:12] Speaker 3: I don't know, I give up.
[17:13] Speaker 4: It was World War two, Oh my god, because of
[17:19] Speaker 4: the war.
[17:20] Speaker 2: Oh okay, so it was not being canceled because a
[17:22] Speaker 2: little drizzle.
[17:25] Speaker 6: But we were all sitting out there.
[17:26] Speaker 2: When you put your head forward, the rain just like.
[17:30] Speaker 6: Like went over our head. It was lovely. And then
[17:33] Speaker 6: Haley got violently ill.
[17:35] Speaker 2: And I've just been playing nurse for a week, so
[17:38] Speaker 2: that's a little bit about me.
[17:40] Speaker 3: I was so excited too when I found out that
[17:42] Speaker 3: herd out I was gonna be on this float. I
[17:44] Speaker 3: was like, what's the name of the flow?
[17:45] Speaker 2: Like the amount of questions, I'm like, Tanya, I don't know.
[17:48] Speaker 3: Well, because I was on New Year's Eve and I
[17:50] Speaker 3: was talking to Robbie's parents and they were like, oh,
[17:52] Speaker 3: we want to watch too, like which flow is it
[17:53] Speaker 3: gonna be? And I was like, I actually don't know,
[17:55] Speaker 3: so let me get the name of the float and
[17:56] Speaker 3: what time, and you know, I was getting all the information.
[17:58] Speaker 3: I slipt into like ten for the next day. I
[18:02] Speaker 3: was like, his float's long gone. I missed him by
[18:06] Speaker 3: an hours hour. But I think I think it replays itself, sure,
[18:09] Speaker 3: so I was like waiting for the replay and then
[18:11] Speaker 3: that just I never saw him. It was so sad.
[18:14] Speaker 2: That's okay, I got good videos can Yeah, I.
[18:16] Speaker 3: Saw him on Instagram, but I think it would have
[18:18] Speaker 3: hit different had I seen it on the TV.
[18:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, he got some in different you know, different areas
[18:23] Speaker 2: of the country, showed different footage of it, and he
[18:26] Speaker 2: got some screen time in different cities, so close shots.
[18:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, I wanted to see that.
[18:31] Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really fun. It was fun to like
[18:33] Speaker 2: watch and wave and see if he didn't see us. Yeah,
[18:36] Speaker 2: but we were waving our hearts out. When everyone's in
[18:39] Speaker 2: Poncho's it's hard to Is there a.
[18:40] Speaker 3: Part of you, like Chris or Christmas New Year's Eve
[18:43] Speaker 3: where you were like, if Helely doesn't want to go, like,
[18:47] Speaker 3: I'm not gonna be mad. Yeah, you're waiting for her
[18:52] Speaker 3: to be like, it's raining, let's just watch on the TV.
[18:55] Speaker 2: Well, my thing is that her dad was very much
[18:58] Speaker 2: like it's pouring. If y'all don't want to come to
[19:01] Speaker 2: sit in the rain, he was like, I'll love y'all
[19:03] Speaker 2: even more because you're smart.
[19:05] Speaker 3: That texted me in the morning, she goes, I woke
[19:07] Speaker 3: up this morning and singing Sackricie, do what you Want.
[19:18] Speaker 6: I love that song. It gets stuck in my head
[19:20] Speaker 6: a lot. It does for me too.
[19:23] Speaker 2: So yeah, it was a really chill It was a
[19:25] Speaker 2: very like family oriented, uh holiday. Yeah, closeness love that.
[19:33] Speaker 2: Yeah sounds like it was for everybody closeness.
[19:38] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[19:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fine.
[19:41] Speaker 2: But we do have a lot of TV and all
[19:44] Speaker 2: pop culture things to talk about.
[19:46] Speaker 3: I mean, there's so much to get to.
[19:48] Speaker 6: There's so much to get to.
[19:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, opinions on mom talk, mom groups and whatnot.
[19:53] Speaker 3: And I have a hot take on your hot takes.
[19:54] Speaker 3: I think I have two hot takes on your hot takes,
[19:56] Speaker 3: and I feel the opposite of your hot takes.
[19:58] Speaker 6: And I cannot wait to hear them.
[20:00] Speaker 3: Do you have any guesses?
[20:03] Speaker 6: That was about to be.
[20:03] Speaker 4: A clear Okay, I'm ready.
[20:06] Speaker 3: Do you have any guesses?
[20:07] Speaker 2: I know it's about the football announcer, okay, but I
[20:11] Speaker 2: don't know if the other one is.
[20:13] Speaker 6: Stay tuned.
[20:31] Speaker 3: We're back. Your MIC's not on?
[20:34] Speaker 6: Who turned it off?
[20:38] Speaker 3: I think it happens automatically when markets the commercials.
[20:41] Speaker 6: I was like, we're back.
[20:44] Speaker 2: Okay, So you watched a lot of TV, but I.
[20:47] Speaker 3: Think we should start with the Golden Globes since they
[20:48] Speaker 3: were last night.
[20:49] Speaker 6: Okay, what do you think I was?
[20:52] Speaker 3: I think this is the Like I enjoyed this Golden
[20:55] Speaker 3: Globes more than any in the past, like five years,
[20:58] Speaker 3: anyone else.
[20:59] Speaker 2: I can't remember the past five years, but I do
[21:01] Speaker 2: remember last year being good, and I liked that better
[21:04] Speaker 2: than this year.
[21:05] Speaker 4: I would agree with that.
[21:07] Speaker 1: It just lags in the middle. There's a big stretch
[21:09] Speaker 1: in the middle where you're just like, oh boy, it's
[21:11] Speaker 1: a whole bunch of awards in a row that I
[21:12] Speaker 1: don't care about.
[21:13] Speaker 3: Yes, I understand, Yes, Yeah.
[21:16] Speaker 1: I thought Nikki was great. I feel like thesh. I
[21:20] Speaker 1: don't know, I've seen a lot more of the stuff.
[21:21] Speaker 1: I feel like, Yes, I.
[21:22] Speaker 3: Feel like I've seen a lot of the shows that
[21:24] Speaker 3: were nominated this year, Like I felt more in the new.
[21:27] Speaker 2: But what if we think about the football announcer commentators
[21:31] Speaker 2: in between awards and whatnot?
[21:33] Speaker 3: Genius? How has it taken them eighty three years to
[21:38] Speaker 3: come up with this?
[21:40] Speaker 2: I will say I posted about this and I was like,
[21:43] Speaker 2: I'm really distracted by it, and I'm curious if anyone's
[21:47] Speaker 2: enjoying it. So I would say I got hundreds of
[21:52] Speaker 2: replies I would say I read that. I saw maybe five,
[21:58] Speaker 2: including Tanya's, that said they liked it. No, I'm not kidding.
[22:02] Speaker 2: And it wasn't just like, oh, I'm indifferent. It was like,
[22:04] Speaker 2: I literally hate it. I'm so distracted. This is taken
[22:07] Speaker 2: away from like, okay, respect of the Golden globes.
[22:11] Speaker 3: Okay, So if I may, I like that they had
[22:17] Speaker 3: the announcers. However, when they had the announcers on top
[22:22] Speaker 3: of the applause and all the like the commotion in
[22:25] Speaker 3: the room, it was like all sensory overload. So I
[22:28] Speaker 3: wish that when they were talking they would pod themselves
[22:32] Speaker 3: up and pod the room down.
[22:34] Speaker 4: It was pot by the way, you've had a radio
[22:35] Speaker 4: for twenty years.
[22:37] Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know what she's talking about.
[22:39] Speaker 2: And it wasn't even the right term whatever.
[22:41] Speaker 3: Okay, so turn the sound of the commentators up and
[22:44] Speaker 3: the sound of the room weighed down, so that there's
[22:47] Speaker 3: like I just felt like they were the same level
[22:49] Speaker 3: of audio.
[22:50] Speaker 1: And so I was like, ah, if anyone didn't see
[22:52] Speaker 1: the Golden globe, it's basically they had two people announcing
[22:55] Speaker 1: rather than one voice of God announce.
[22:57] Speaker 4: So they had two people almost like a sports cast.
[22:59] Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like a football game.
[23:01] Speaker 4: Uh. And so they really jumped in when somebody would
[23:04] Speaker 4: in the winter.
[23:04] Speaker 3: Is whatever whoever, But normally she.
[23:09] Speaker 1: Was smart for hacks and as she gets up, it's
[23:11] Speaker 1: like a it's a good forty five.
[23:12] Speaker 3: Yes, I'm just boring, clapping right.
[23:15] Speaker 1: That's when they jumped in and said, hey, it's a
[23:17] Speaker 1: third nomination. Hey do you think she'll think her daughter? Hey,
[23:19] Speaker 1: you think she'll think hana Einbinder?
[23:21] Speaker 4: Hey? Next she was just sheating they're doing season two.
[23:23] Speaker 4: It's gonna be out in a chair or whatever. I
[23:26] Speaker 4: didn't mind. I thought it was kind of informative.
[23:28] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that forty five seconds when they walked
[23:30] Speaker 3: to the podium is the most boring forty five seconds.
[23:33] Speaker 2: I'm like, I was watching like the MTV Movie Awards,
[23:37] Speaker 2: Like it felt like very casual, and I feel like
[23:39] Speaker 2: Golden Globes is so elevated and like prestigious that it
[23:43] Speaker 2: made it it kind of like dumbed it down a
[23:44] Speaker 2: little bit to me, Like it felt like a football game.
[23:46] Speaker 3: Interesting, and I feel like maybe they were saying maybe
[23:50] Speaker 3: it's what they're we're saying a little bit, because I
[23:52] Speaker 3: do feel like I would have I would have liked.
[23:55] Speaker 3: I like the commenting of like this is her first
[23:57] Speaker 3: Golden Globe win, she's been nominated five times. Like I
[24:00] Speaker 3: like the fast facts. I could have used a little
[24:02] Speaker 3: less of the like Kylie Kardashian stuff.
[24:06] Speaker 6: He's like, he's like, do you think he's gonna think
[24:08] Speaker 6: his part? I'm like, what is this?
[24:10] Speaker 2: He just want a Golden Globe And we're wondering if
[24:12] Speaker 2: he's gonna think Kyle.
[24:14] Speaker 1: Took it as that's a long, boring walk and people
[24:16] Speaker 1: have no have zero attention span these days. Let's just
[24:21] Speaker 1: keep them. Let's tease what they may talk about. It's
[24:23] Speaker 1: like old school radio teasing to me.
[24:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, I loved it. It was just the audios were
[24:30] Speaker 3: both very loud, so at some points I was like
[24:32] Speaker 3: short circuiting.
[24:33] Speaker 2: I was like, and then the music and like none
[24:35] Speaker 2: of the music felt like it matched the moment it was.
[24:37] Speaker 6: It was kind of bizarre to me.
[24:39] Speaker 2: I feel like the whole thing was like just taking
[24:41] Speaker 2: down a level from what it's supposed to be.
[24:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's giving like we're it's our eighty third show,
[24:49] Speaker 3: like we're eighty three, but we're trying to be gen Z.
[24:52] Speaker 6: But they were only millennial.
[24:54] Speaker 5: They only god, they only.
[24:55] Speaker 4: Got so far.
[24:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, I yeah, I understand.
[24:58] Speaker 2: I see your perspec was like, it was music that
[25:00] Speaker 2: I like, it was music I listened to, but it
[25:02] Speaker 2: just didn't fit.
[25:03] Speaker 3: I'm like, did you notice every time it came back
[25:05] Speaker 3: to Nikki Glazer that she had a different Taylor Swift
[25:07] Speaker 3: song introducing her. It was Style in the beginning, and
[25:11] Speaker 3: then it was fadeo Ophelia, and then it was I
[25:14] Speaker 3: can't remember what the other one was. But every time
[25:15] Speaker 3: she like came back from like a commercial or whatever,
[25:18] Speaker 3: it was a Taylor Swift song.
[25:19] Speaker 4: I did notice that, because she's a massive thing.
[25:21] Speaker 3: I cocked it. I was like, that's cute.
[25:23] Speaker 2: I think she does a great job. I really like
[25:25] Speaker 2: her as a host.
[25:26] Speaker 3: It's so funny that nobody that a lot of people
[25:28] Speaker 3: didn't like that. Oh wait, you know what's something that
[25:29] Speaker 3: people brought up that I've always been curious about That
[25:32] Speaker 3: you do and I don't understand why. But so there's
[25:36] Speaker 3: like a when you're on Instagram, there's an option to
[25:38] Speaker 3: give like a questions box, and you ask a lot
[25:41] Speaker 3: of questions, but you don't give the question box.
[25:44] Speaker 2: Because the question box limits how much they can put
[25:47] Speaker 2: in the answer.
[25:48] Speaker 3: So you want people to have free rein to say
[25:50] Speaker 3: however long, however lengthy response they want. Well, there you go, everybody.
[25:55] Speaker 3: I don't.
[25:55] Speaker 2: I just like think of think of questions, and I
[25:58] Speaker 2: just like take a black screen and write it in there.
[26:01] Speaker 3: And I don't like the box in there.
[26:03] Speaker 6: I know, but then it limits how much space.
[26:05] Speaker 3: They Okay, so you want people to be able to
[26:07] Speaker 3: express themsells Okay, yeah, okay.
[26:10] Speaker 2: It's just a creative freedom for myself and the people.
[26:14] Speaker 3: So I also feel like I was very emotionally invested
[26:19] Speaker 3: in the Golden Globes more than I ever have been before,
[26:21] Speaker 3: because I'm like the Beast in Me was like my
[26:24] Speaker 3: favorite show of all time. So I was just like
[26:26] Speaker 3: rooting for it so much in every category, and I
[26:29] Speaker 3: found myself being pissed off that they were like not
[26:34] Speaker 3: giving it to the people I wanted to, and then
[26:36] Speaker 3: it was going to people who had a picture box
[26:38] Speaker 3: and weren't even there. I know that bothered me too
[26:40] Speaker 3: so much that I think that we need to write
[26:43] Speaker 3: in and say, if you are not here to accept
[26:45] Speaker 3: your Golden Globe, you don't get to win. And it
[26:48] Speaker 3: goes to the second person in live like, I'm sorry,
[26:51] Speaker 3: if you're not going to show up, you don't get
[26:53] Speaker 3: your Golden Globe, get your ass to the show.
[26:55] Speaker 4: Yes, I can't do that. We like at least three
[26:59] Speaker 4: you didn't win it, that's it.
[27:00] Speaker 2: There's a lot of sickness going around, So I do
[27:02] Speaker 2: hope that those people that weren't there were either either
[27:05] Speaker 2: working on a set somewhere far away or they were like,
[27:08] Speaker 2: I'm sick and I don't want to get other people sick.
[27:10] Speaker 5: And it was.
[27:11] Speaker 1: Award shows that do that people's choice. But the Golden
[27:14] Speaker 1: Globes are prestigious enough that you either win it or
[27:16] Speaker 1: you don't.
[27:17] Speaker 3: There was a lot though, there was yeah, maybe even
[27:20] Speaker 3: just because there were so many that it felt like
[27:23] Speaker 3: another box, just like I was just so.
[27:26] Speaker 2: It's nicely because the talent was like so competitive.
[27:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, and they were also and I'm just like Matthew
[27:33] Speaker 3: Reese is just sitting there.
[27:36] Speaker 6: He didn't win more.
[27:37] Speaker 2: He's so good, he's so Adolescents took all the all
[27:42] Speaker 2: the awards last years. Oh, because I just am like,
[27:47] Speaker 2: I feel like adolescents already had their award moment.
[27:50] Speaker 3: They did not they did yeah, yeah, they like swept
[27:54] Speaker 3: and swept and even last night they yeah, and I
[27:57] Speaker 3: found myself being like, a goodness, Oh, I've never seen it,
[28:01] Speaker 3: so I can't judge. I didn't watch it, did either
[28:03] Speaker 3: of you.
[28:04] Speaker 6: I tried.
[28:05] Speaker 2: I was a little bored, but Haley was like, it
[28:07] Speaker 2: was amazing, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
[28:09] Speaker 3: So I just found myself being so upset for like
[28:12] Speaker 3: Matthew Reese and Claire Danes and just kind of like,
[28:17] Speaker 3: all my peeps, yeah, all my peeps that were there.
[28:20] Speaker 6: Did you watch Heated Rivalry?
[28:25] Speaker 3: You name it? I think I've watched all of TV
[28:28] Speaker 3: in the last three weeks.
[28:29] Speaker 6: Like there's no shows left to watch shows.
[28:33] Speaker 3: Robbie and I there was a show that came out
[28:34] Speaker 3: on Netflix, I believe Sunday we watched the whole thing.
[28:39] Speaker 1: Woww Netflix recommended for you go outside?
[28:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, touch grass, please stop here to take some so
[28:52] Speaker 3: on your face.
[28:55] Speaker 6: You've watched all the shows that we have available.
[28:59] Speaker 3: I think we're out of So that's kind of where we're.
[29:03] Speaker 2: Some of your favorites that you'd recommend for people to watch.
[29:06] Speaker 3: I loved His and Hers. Have you watched it?
[29:08] Speaker 6: I felt it to be very slow.
[29:10] Speaker 3: Okay, So Robbie didn't love it the first episode.
[29:13] Speaker 6: But yeah, we got when you like episode four.
[29:16] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh's.
[29:18] Speaker 2: Six soapy, soapy, And then Haley was like, I don't
[29:21] Speaker 2: even want to watch anymore now, and someone said, oh
[29:24] Speaker 2: my gosh, the twist is crazy at the end.
[29:25] Speaker 6: So we just googled it, which was.
[29:27] Speaker 2: A crazy thing.
[29:29] Speaker 3: Wow.
[29:29] Speaker 2: We googler just didn't care hours to finish.
[29:34] Speaker 3: That's two hours of do you want to know what's crazy?
[29:37] Speaker 6: On my phone.
[29:40] Speaker 3: We were watching it until like I think it was
[29:42] Speaker 3: eleven thirty, and we like to go to bed at ten,
[29:44] Speaker 3: but we were so sucked in and like, we're on
[29:46] Speaker 3: the last episode, just see who the killer is and
[29:48] Speaker 3: then we'll go to sleep. So within the first fifteen
[29:51] Speaker 3: minutes you find out. I was like, let's just go
[29:53] Speaker 3: to sleep and we'll finish in the morning. So we
[29:55] Speaker 3: go to sleep. The next morning we wake up to
[29:57] Speaker 3: just finish it. We're like, oh, it's kind of a
[29:58] Speaker 3: lot left, Like what are they do It's a completely
[30:02] Speaker 3: different person. Wow, So we like totally missed the ending.
[30:07] Speaker 3: But when we just s went to sleep thinking we
[30:09] Speaker 3: knew the killer, and then we woke up and it
[30:10] Speaker 3: was a different killer.
[30:12] Speaker 2: Twist and turned till the very end. Yeah, but the
[30:15] Speaker 2: ending that we read about was insane.
[30:17] Speaker 3: Yeah, crazy, So we really loved his and hers. We
[30:19] Speaker 3: watched all of Stranger Things from top to bottom, which
[30:23] Speaker 3: I thoroughly enjoyed.
[30:25] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[30:25] Speaker 1: You went from E one S one all the way through. Yeah,
[30:29] Speaker 1: my god, that is ambitious.
[30:31] Speaker 3: And timed it out to the point where, like on
[30:33] Speaker 3: Christmas Day when they dropped the three episodes, we were
[30:36] Speaker 3: caught up and to watch those three, watch those on
[30:38] Speaker 3: Christmas Day, and then watched the last one on this day.
[30:42] Speaker 4: It came out very admirable.
[30:45] Speaker 1: My only complain about Stranger Things was I don't need
[30:47] Speaker 1: that much epilogue. Like the show ended and then there
[30:49] Speaker 1: was forty minutes left, and like, come on, and sure enough,
[30:52] Speaker 1: it's forty minutes that I didn't need.
[30:53] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was too much. Yeah, no spoilers. It's great.
[30:57] Speaker 4: It could have wrapped up faster, quicker, it's not. That's fine.
[31:00] Speaker 3: My entire algorithm now is like all these different theories
[31:04] Speaker 3: of all kinds of things, and I'm like, I'm so dumb.
[31:07] Speaker 3: I don't even understand these like broken down the theories
[31:10] Speaker 3: that people are posting on Instagram.
[31:12] Speaker 6: They're like, let me break this down for you, and
[31:13] Speaker 6: you're like, break it down.
[31:16] Speaker 1: I don't think I could tell you who the bad
[31:17] Speaker 1: guy was because there were so many bad guys.
[31:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, I know there was. There was the guy Henry Henry, Yeah,
[31:27] Speaker 3: and the Flare the slayer Flair.
[31:31] Speaker 2: Was.
[31:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, there's so many bad guys. I'm not even sure
[31:35] Speaker 4: who it was.
[31:35] Speaker 3: And then they beat the one bad guy. I'm like,
[31:37] Speaker 3: where were the other bad guys? Like they all just
[31:39] Speaker 3: died too. Yeah, there's a lot. Wow, I would recommend.
[31:44] Speaker 2: I don't love like well, I heard it scary.
[31:47] Speaker 3: It was scary to me, but not like sci fi.
[31:51] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not horror.
[31:52] Speaker 3: But I don't love fi me either.
[31:55] Speaker 2: You like a lot of things that I'm trying to
[31:57] Speaker 2: watch and it's just not my style. So that's a lot.
[32:00] Speaker 6: Of commitment for something that I'm not sure about.
[32:03] Speaker 3: I just feel like Stranger Things was such a pop
[32:05] Speaker 3: culture moment that I wanted to be a part of.
[32:07] Speaker 3: I wanted to be on the inn. And now I'm like,
[32:10] Speaker 3: I'm in you did it, Yeah, I did it.
[32:12] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[32:12] Speaker 6: It's like finishing a puzzle. Yes I did two.
[32:14] Speaker 2: Of Yeah, yeah, I did one puzzle in like five hours.
[32:18] Speaker 4: Wow.
[32:19] Speaker 2: I was locked in and then Haley Haley did her
[32:22] Speaker 2: first puzzle. She was I've never done a puzzle because
[32:24] Speaker 2: I get too overwhelmed.
[32:25] Speaker 3: In her life.
[32:26] Speaker 6: That's what she says. I let her put the last.
[32:29] Speaker 4: That's the trend, right grandma hobbies.
[32:31] Speaker 3: Yes, it's trending right now, Grandma Hoby. Grandma hobbies like
[32:34] Speaker 3: stitching and knitting and puzzle.
[32:37] Speaker 6: Like grandma hobby.
[32:38] Speaker 4: Yeah, like offline stuff.
[32:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, love a puzzle. I love a crossorder.
[32:44] Speaker 4: I'm with you on crosswords.
[32:45] Speaker 3: Have you guys watched Traders?
[32:47] Speaker 1: Yes?
[32:48] Speaker 3: Are you caught up?
[32:49] Speaker 4: Yes?
[32:51] Speaker 3: Do you know that? I thought that they only put
[32:53] Speaker 3: one show, one episode out like I thought it was
[32:55] Speaker 3: just wait one a time. And I was like, we
[32:57] Speaker 3: didn't get a round table, we didn't get the I
[32:59] Speaker 3: was like, we get any of this, And then Robbie goes,
[33:01] Speaker 3: there's two more episodes.
[33:02] Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, we were excited too.
[33:04] Speaker 2: I thought there was only going to be two episodes,
[33:06] Speaker 2: and then there was three episodes.
[33:09] Speaker 6: Let's do a spoiler warning.
[33:11] Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe, and.
[33:12] Speaker 3: Then maybe we'll come back with it, because just to
[33:17] Speaker 3: give people if they don't want to be spoiled on Traders,
[33:19] Speaker 3: just like a band with like.
[33:21] Speaker 6: But we're going to come back with spoilers.
[33:23] Speaker 3: So coming back with some spoilers.
[33:24] Speaker 5: Okay, we're back, We're back. Okay.
[33:45] Speaker 3: So spoiler alert for Traders. Spoiler alert.
[33:48] Speaker 2: So the way the season started was that for the
[33:52] Speaker 2: first time ever, they chose a Trader that the audience
[33:56] Speaker 2: didn't know who it was.
[33:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, right out the gate, Like they get out of
[33:59] Speaker 3: the car and they are all shown a box and
[34:04] Speaker 3: inside one of the boxes was a Trader card. So
[34:07] Speaker 3: they're all like, they basically all have to face they
[34:10] Speaker 3: have to face the rest of the the what do
[34:12] Speaker 3: you already call them cast? Yeah, Alan opens the box
[34:17] Speaker 3: and the box shows them if they're the Trader or
[34:19] Speaker 3: if it's just an empty box. So you can see
[34:21] Speaker 3: a lot you're supposed to be, like, see their facial expressions,
[34:24] Speaker 3: like read it off of that. Yeah, I called it,
[34:29] Speaker 3: you did. I knew the Secret Trader the minute it
[34:32] Speaker 3: was showing.
[34:33] Speaker 2: The problem was that I felt like when I thought
[34:36] Speaker 2: it was her, but it was so obvious to me
[34:39] Speaker 2: that it would like, I was like, they're not going
[34:40] Speaker 2: to choose her because she feels like an obvious choice
[34:42] Speaker 2: for the Secret Trader.
[34:43] Speaker 3: I knew that they were a spoiler alert I knew
[34:46] Speaker 3: they were going to make Donna Kelce a trader no
[34:49] Speaker 3: matter what. She is, hands down, I think the most
[34:53] Speaker 3: famous person on that cast, and not so much famous,
[34:56] Speaker 3: but she's the most well known. Everybody knows Donna Kelce,
[35:00] Speaker 3: do you know what I mean? All the rest of
[35:01] Speaker 3: them are very niche. If you watch Survivor, you know
[35:03] Speaker 3: those four. If you watch Big Brother, you watch you
[35:05] Speaker 3: know those four? If you know what I mean, Like,
[35:07] Speaker 3: they're all very niche. Where I feel like Donna Kelce
[35:09] Speaker 3: was just like widely known.
[35:12] Speaker 2: A lot of people feel like she was just cast
[35:14] Speaker 2: to draw people in who have never watched the show.
[35:17] Speaker 6: But she was never gonna stay for that long.
[35:20] Speaker 3: She was a horrible trader.
[35:21] Speaker 6: She was like, oh bad sing.
[35:24] Speaker 2: I think they chose her knowing that, Like she wasn't
[35:27] Speaker 2: gonna last long.
[35:28] Speaker 3: But I was having this debate with Robbie because I'm like,
[35:31] Speaker 3: she was such a bad trader. I knew they were
[35:34] Speaker 3: gonna make her trader, But then why didn't they just
[35:36] Speaker 3: make her like a really sweet, faithful that would just
[35:39] Speaker 3: like ride it till the end? Do you know what
[35:40] Speaker 3: I mean? Like, nobody's gonna.
[35:41] Speaker 6: Think she wanted to stay till like I think.
[35:43] Speaker 2: I was just like, hey, will you come to Scotland
[35:45] Speaker 2: and film like three episodes. It'll be three days and
[35:49] Speaker 2: then you get to go home. But they could use
[35:51] Speaker 2: her name as promotion because people, a lot of people
[35:54] Speaker 2: were like I literally tuned.
[35:55] Speaker 6: In just to watch Donna Kelsey.
[35:57] Speaker 3: So Robbi and I had like a debate going. I
[35:59] Speaker 3: thought it was Donnie Kelsey, the Secret Trader. He thought
[36:01] Speaker 3: it was jam Jam.
[36:02] Speaker 2: Oh that's who we thought. We were going between him too.
[36:05] Speaker 3: Robbie was like convinced it was jam Jam And then
[36:07] Speaker 3: at the round tables he was just like Donna's not
[36:10] Speaker 3: saying like I'm a faithful, I'm a faithful, I'm a
[36:13] Speaker 3: faithful Like she was just like chilling, chilling. I was like,
[36:17] Speaker 3: stand up Donna, like fight, there was a fight.
[36:20] Speaker 6: Let him get me, Yeah, she's a let him guess.
[36:24] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:24] Speaker 6: I feel like it's gonna be a good season.
[36:26] Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be such a good season. The
[36:29] Speaker 3: Traders that they have, the three remaining, I guess are
[36:32] Speaker 3: so good.
[36:34] Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it'll be good.
[36:36] Speaker 3: And like this this there's this girl on there. Her
[36:38] Speaker 3: name is Natalie. She's from like the Survivor world and
[36:41] Speaker 3: she's a beast, like I feel like she's gonna be
[36:42] Speaker 3: a like I think she's gonna be a twin. Yes, okay,
[36:46] Speaker 3: the survivor.
[36:47] Speaker 2: The survivors are intense when they come in. Yes, there's
[36:51] Speaker 2: like an energy of like we're here to win.
[36:53] Speaker 6: But they're so good I know, so I'm saying though
[36:55] Speaker 6: you can feel it.
[36:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, they're competitors and they're like ready to to trick
[37:01] Speaker 2: people and win, do what they need to do.
[37:03] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd kill them off first too. I'd be like murder.
[37:09] Speaker 2: So what did you think of Peter? I don't really
[37:12] Speaker 2: have a person I'm rooting for yet.
[37:14] Speaker 3: Oh interesting, I'm still getting to know some of the
[37:16] Speaker 3: people in there.
[37:18] Speaker 6: What did you think of Heated Rivalry?
[37:21] Speaker 5: So?
[37:22] Speaker 3: I loved it at the end. In the beginning, I
[37:26] Speaker 3: was like, I don't know if I can watch this.
[37:28] Speaker 3: It was very, very X rated for me.
[37:32] Speaker 5: So he did.
[37:32] Speaker 4: Rivalry is the show everyone's talking about.
[37:34] Speaker 1: It's about two rival hockey players, two male rival hockey
[37:37] Speaker 1: players who fall in love.
[37:39] Speaker 3: Yes, okay, and you watch it first, Yeah, and you
[37:42] Speaker 3: loved it? Well, we Haley and I were for your recommendation. First.
[37:47] Speaker 2: Haley and I were watching in the first couple of
[37:50] Speaker 2: episodes because there is a lot of gay sex and
[37:55] Speaker 2: we were just like sitting there, like staring at each other.
[38:01] Speaker 3: I think it's like porn. It's like it's very very aggressive, heavy,
[38:05] Speaker 3: heavy sex heavy.
[38:07] Speaker 2: But as the storyline started to develop, I was like,
[38:11] Speaker 2: oh my gosh, like I I like love this.
[38:13] Speaker 6: And then episode five was amazing, which.
[38:17] Speaker 3: One was Episode five, no spoilers.
[38:20] Speaker 2: Just I went at the end, they're watching the TV
[38:23] Speaker 2: and there.
[38:24] Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, so yeah, So I watched it per
[38:27] Speaker 3: year because like, I'm watching this show he did whatever.
[38:30] Speaker 3: And then I kept seeing everybody online posting about it.
[38:32] Speaker 3: I was like, oh, let me check this show out.
[38:33] Speaker 3: In the first episode, I was like whoa, Like yeah,
[38:38] Speaker 3: not necessarily my cup of tea because I don't even
[38:41] Speaker 3: I don't really I don't like porn, right, so like
[38:44] Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like, I was like, this
[38:45] Speaker 3: is I don't know, this might not be for me.
[38:48] Speaker 3: But then I watched I started I was able to
[38:51] Speaker 3: see what they were doing, and I was very interested
[38:54] Speaker 3: in that storyline and that I thought it was very compelling.
[39:01] Speaker 3: And then they bring in some other.
[39:03] Speaker 5: That threw me off.
[39:05] Speaker 3: And I was also really high on like pain meds
[39:08] Speaker 3: in the first few episodes, so I wasn't sure like experience, Yeah,
[39:11] Speaker 3: it was quite experience. So then the other people threw
[39:15] Speaker 3: me off. I was like, what does this all have
[39:17] Speaker 3: to do with each other? But then as you keep going,
[39:20] Speaker 3: like the story, the lod story is so interesting and
[39:24] Speaker 3: so compelling, and I don't want to give any spoilers away,
[39:30] Speaker 3: but like the way it all unfolded was also very
[39:33] Speaker 3: beautiful and like made me cry. Yeah, were you when
[39:37] Speaker 3: you were watching it? Did you relate at all to
[39:40] Speaker 3: either of them?
[39:41] Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, I mean, well I think relate. I think
[39:43] Speaker 2: that's why it was so important. Like obviously the folks
[39:47] Speaker 2: a lot of people are focusing on how much sex
[39:48] Speaker 2: is in the show, but I think the storyline of
[39:51] Speaker 2: not being able to publicly love who you want to love,
[39:55] Speaker 2: I think is really relatable to anyone who's at any
[39:58] Speaker 2: point come.
[39:58] Speaker 6: Out some I've hit Yeah yeah.
[40:02] Speaker 3: Not even an athlete, but then especially being on.
[40:05] Speaker 2: A public platform, I felt it was so relatable in
[40:08] Speaker 2: the sense that you're like trying to live your life
[40:11] Speaker 2: and you're trying to share who you are, but there's
[40:14] Speaker 2: this huge part of you that like people don't know
[40:17] Speaker 2: about it. It's such an important and like beautiful part
[40:20] Speaker 2: of you, and so I just I'm so grateful that
[40:24] Speaker 2: it's so popular, because a lot of queer shows get
[40:27] Speaker 2: canceled after one season, and this one just has like
[40:30] Speaker 2: you know, everyone's talking about it.
[40:32] Speaker 3: I can't believe it ended where it did. I was like, wow,
[40:36] Speaker 3: that's all we get.
[40:36] Speaker 2: But it was such like a heartfelt, hopeful ending, which
[40:39] Speaker 2: a lot of queer shows and movies don't.
[40:42] Speaker 6: You don't get that.
[40:42] Speaker 2: It's always tragic or like ends in devastation, and you're like,
[40:46] Speaker 2: is there anything hopeful to be able to live my
[40:50] Speaker 2: life truthfully and see it on portrayed on TV or movies?
[40:54] Speaker 3: You know?
[40:54] Speaker 6: I I love that.
[40:55] Speaker 3: I found that part when one of the hot players,
[41:00] Speaker 3: when you know, he's like kind of coming to terms
[41:02] Speaker 3: with the fact that he is gay and kind of
[41:06] Speaker 3: thinking about like these brands and he's like the face
[41:09] Speaker 3: of and stuff like that. And I feel like I
[41:10] Speaker 3: remember early on with you, you were like having these
[41:14] Speaker 3: same things because you were like people got to know
[41:17] Speaker 3: me as this like virgin girl.
[41:21] Speaker 6: Trying to marry a man.
[41:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, and like I'm now, this is my brand, this
[41:26] Speaker 3: is who I am, Like and if now I'm somebody different,
[41:29] Speaker 3: Like are all those people just gonna hate me?
[41:31] Speaker 2: Now?
[41:32] Speaker 3: Like it? And see, like it's just it's such a
[41:35] Speaker 3: crazy thing.
[41:37] Speaker 2: Well, it's so crazy that people and that I people
[41:42] Speaker 2: have to think about that, right, and that that that
[41:46] Speaker 2: falling in love with someone comes with this turmoil of
[41:50] Speaker 2: like will I be accepted?
[41:51] Speaker 6: Will they still love me? Will they still want to
[41:53] Speaker 6: work with me?
[41:54] Speaker 2: It's right, it's I think seeing it portrayed like that
[41:58] Speaker 2: and in such a big way, with so many people
[42:00] Speaker 2: talking about it, it's just an important conversation. I'm glad
[42:03] Speaker 2: that it's something that people are seeing. But also with
[42:05] Speaker 2: this like really fun you know these two fun actors
[42:10] Speaker 2: who we've been introduced to and they're like funny in
[42:13] Speaker 2: interviews and.
[42:14] Speaker 6: Very unhinged and not media trail.
[42:17] Speaker 3: Yeah, no one of them. What's his name? I forget
[42:22] Speaker 3: his fir name story Connor. He was waiting tables in
[42:27] Speaker 3: Clover City.
[42:28] Speaker 2: I know before he got like just like big break.
[42:31] Speaker 1: Yeah, who knew, Like it's a Canadian show, so he
[42:34] Speaker 1: probably was like, ah, this Canadian show and has a
[42:38] Speaker 1: job's job.
[42:40] Speaker 4: Globes.
[42:41] Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't I'm not familiar with are there
[42:45] Speaker 3: a lot of gay men in hockey or is that
[42:48] Speaker 3: like a very I think thing.
[42:51] Speaker 2: I think there's only been one public public publicly out
[42:57] Speaker 2: professional hockey player.
[42:59] Speaker 3: Really Okay, so it's like even more.
[43:03] Speaker 6: In that sports in general, it's very closeted.
[43:06] Speaker 1: And I think the only baseball players have come out
[43:08] Speaker 1: did so long after their careers were over.
[43:11] Speaker 2: In football, I think there's like two, Like I remember
[43:15] Speaker 2: one guy came out like years ago. I don't know
[43:17] Speaker 2: if there's very Yeah, it's very rare.
[43:20] Speaker 3: Wow.
[43:21] Speaker 6: Yeah, speaking of sports.
[43:23] Speaker 2: Tomorrow night, I'm starting to play in this like I
[43:28] Speaker 2: don't even think it's a league, but like a group
[43:30] Speaker 2: of like to play basketball weekly with these girls.
[43:36] Speaker 6: You know, I love basketball.
[43:37] Speaker 2: Yeah, but I've been wanting to find a league, but
[43:39] Speaker 2: I don't want.
[43:39] Speaker 3: To like, where did you find this league?
[43:41] Speaker 2: So a girl that worked on my management team, Kate,
[43:44] Speaker 2: her girlfriend plays on this team, and so she posted
[43:48] Speaker 2: herself playing.
[43:49] Speaker 3: She like, no, I was just like, where do you play?
[43:53] Speaker 6: Is this like a league? And so she responded to me,
[43:55] Speaker 6: you guys, I haven't played.
[43:56] Speaker 3: I haven't.
[43:57] Speaker 6: First of all, I haven't exercised in like six months.
[44:01] Speaker 2: I really like I I was a cardio. I'm so excited,
[44:05] Speaker 2: but I'm just stretching. Now have you started yet?
[44:08] Speaker 3: No?
[44:08] Speaker 2: Tomorrow night.
[44:09] Speaker 4: Oh, it was my first night, first practice, first game,
[44:11] Speaker 4: my first.
[44:12] Speaker 3: Game into a game.
[44:14] Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not like it's not like a league.
[44:16] Speaker 3: It's not like we're practicing just like pick up basketball.
[44:19] Speaker 3: Basic A lot of questions. It's not live stream it.
[44:22] Speaker 3: It's Tuesday night. The game is Tuesday night. The games, yeah,
[44:26] Speaker 3: in the night time or the indoor outdoor indoor where.
[44:30] Speaker 6: Like a church gym or something picturing.
[44:31] Speaker 4: Nobody wants this, yes.
[44:33] Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. And it's not like a
[44:36] Speaker 3: tournament's just like one other team.
[44:38] Speaker 2: So I think there's three teams of four. And then
[44:42] Speaker 2: so the way they do it's three teams of four
[44:44] Speaker 2: and you do it's called like king of the.
[44:46] Speaker 6: Court, which I've never I was like, I don't know
[44:48] Speaker 6: what that is, but I'll learn. You play to.
[44:50] Speaker 2: Seven and then whoever wins stays on and the next
[44:53] Speaker 2: team comes on and they play.
[44:54] Speaker 3: And you do this every Tuesday night. And then when
[44:58] Speaker 3: do you practice.
[44:59] Speaker 6: There's no practice.
[45:00] Speaker 2: Oh, I mean should practice on your own, but we
[45:02] Speaker 2: just go raw dog and go to the their jerseys.
[45:05] Speaker 3: Do you need like a team to bring like like orange,
[45:10] Speaker 3: like the Wildcats.
[45:11] Speaker 2: I don't think like I imagine it's one of those
[45:14] Speaker 2: things where whoever wants to play that week will be
[45:17] Speaker 2: like I don't know if it'll be the same the same.
[45:20] Speaker 6: Group of girls.
[45:21] Speaker 3: Do you know any of the other four on your
[45:22] Speaker 3: team tomorrow night? I just think your friends.
[45:25] Speaker 6: Ry, I just know Ray.
[45:27] Speaker 2: And then she was like, we also do Saturday mornings,
[45:30] Speaker 2: and I was like, I don't do some I don't
