Why is Oliver Tree dressed like Shrek? Is it performance art or deeply earnest work? Are there any original ideas in the world? And what happens when you spend two years recording a record across seven continents and 80 countries ranging from Africa to China to Afghanistan. Oh and a year in Antarctica. We endeavour to explore all of what the heck Oliver Tree has been up to. Plus the story behind his new album ‘Love You Madly, Hate You Badly,’ the pursuit of joy, falling off the internet, remixing in Iraq, redefining success, being elected a chief by the Maasai in Tanzania, where he wants his money to go when he dies and so much more.
