[1:41] Speaker 1: today founded Well with All That's Well with All, a
[1:45] Speaker 1: black owned, purpose led health and wellness brand. The mission
[1:49] Speaker 1: is to improve well being for all of us, to
[1:51] Speaker 1: achieve generational wellness where they invest twenty percent of their
[1:56] Speaker 1: profits in the fight for health equity and black, brown
[2:00] Speaker 1: and underserved communities. Please welcome the Money Making Conversation master Class.
[2:04] Speaker 1: He's out of the Northeast, I think Boston area. Please
[2:06] Speaker 1: welcome Demond Martin.
[2:08] Speaker 2: How you doing, sir, I'm doing well, brother. Thank you
[2:11] Speaker 2: so much man. And let me let me just start
[2:13] Speaker 2: off by saying, you know, I really appreciate all you do. Uh,
[2:18] Speaker 2: the information and the knowledge and the wisdom that should
[2:20] Speaker 2: you're passing along there so many of us. Is uh
[2:23] Speaker 2: is needed and appreciated.
[2:24] Speaker 1: Well, thank you because sometimes you know, I'm not playing music.
[2:27] Speaker 1: You know, I's no, it's no jamming. There's no jams
[2:30] Speaker 1: over here. You know, this is information. You know, this
[2:33] Speaker 1: is on the number one jazz station in the country.
[2:35] Speaker 1: They stopped playing music, allowed me to talk for an
[2:37] Speaker 1: hour and by guests like you on the show. Guess
[2:39] Speaker 1: who are making a difference in the community when I
[2:42] Speaker 1: demand when you when you're successful. We're going to talk
[2:44] Speaker 1: about that in a minute. But when you say underserved communities,
[2:48] Speaker 1: what do you what?
[2:49] Speaker 3: What?
[2:49] Speaker 1: What's that? What's that area? What? What? What are you
[2:51] Speaker 1: talking about?
[2:53] Speaker 2: Man? I'm I'm talking about the Third War, like you
[2:56] Speaker 2: know where where you grew up, where I grew up
[2:58] Speaker 2: in Englewood, California. I'm talking about all these places that
[3:01] Speaker 2: they don't have the resources and the just pure human
[3:06] Speaker 2: dignity that should be given to them and it's desperately needed.
[3:11] Speaker 1: Now that's always you know, because like I said, you know,
[3:13] Speaker 1: he's referencing Houston, Texas area, third Ward Texas. You know,
[3:17] Speaker 1: I've lived in LA for fifteen years, so I'm very
[3:19] Speaker 1: familiar with Inglewood and you know, we always read about
[3:25] Speaker 1: the wealth gap, the racial wealth gap, Well we kind
[3:28] Speaker 1: of miss a lot is the racial health gap. And
[3:32] Speaker 1: that's where you're diving in deep here, aren't you, oh
[3:36] Speaker 1: two thousand percent?
[3:37] Speaker 2: I mean you use Boston as an example, you know,
[3:41] Speaker 2: back Bay, which is pronominally white versus Roxbury, which is
[3:45] Speaker 2: which is black and brown. There's three miles apart from
[3:48] Speaker 2: each other, and there's a twenty three year life expectancy
[3:52] Speaker 2: gap between those two places. So I mean just just imagine, Wow,
[3:56] Speaker 2: you know, three miles away from each other and twenty
[4:00] Speaker 2: three years different in terms of you know, your your lifespan.
[4:04] Speaker 2: And but the reality is that exists in every major
[4:06] Speaker 2: city in the country, right, And so those are the
[4:10] Speaker 2: things that we're attacking now.
[4:12] Speaker 1: The origin story, what spark they drove you and your
[4:15] Speaker 1: co founder? And who is your co founder by the way,
[4:17] Speaker 1: to start well Withal.
[4:20] Speaker 2: Carmichael Roberts, who is a is a dear friend and
[4:23] Speaker 2: brilliant investor, venture capitalist, serial entrepreneur, just an incredible human being.
[4:30] Speaker 2: You know my origin story. I'll go back just a
[4:33] Speaker 2: little bit.
[4:34] Speaker 1: You take your time too, because DeMar and I've heard
[4:36] Speaker 1: we talked offline, and I think this is important that
[4:39] Speaker 1: this is now You're not a doctor, but you are
[4:41] Speaker 1: an expert in changing lives financially, and now you're about
[4:45] Speaker 1: to start changing lives in the health community.
[4:48] Speaker 2: I definitely am not a doctor, but but I have
[4:50] Speaker 2: incredible folks that are that are working with us with
[4:53] Speaker 2: great excellence and ensuring that we get all the things
[4:56] Speaker 2: that we need, from the products that we developed to
[5:00] Speaker 2: to the health information that we put out. But just
[5:02] Speaker 2: in terms of you know, my story, you know, I've
[5:06] Speaker 2: lived this improbable life where I grew up in poverty,
[5:11] Speaker 2: first in Columbus, Ohio, then Inglewood, California. Uh then lived
[5:15] Speaker 2: in a trailer in rural North Carolina, and you know,
[5:19] Speaker 2: I had these extraordinary opportunities to progress. My first job
[5:25] Speaker 2: out of college after going to UNC Charlotte was being
[5:28] Speaker 2: the assistant to the White House Chief of Staff and
[5:30] Speaker 2: the Clinton administration, you know, been consulting for just a
[5:33] Speaker 2: little bit, and then ended up at Harvard Business School,
[5:36] Speaker 2: and then after that I joined what has become one
[5:40] Speaker 2: of the largest hedge funds in the world, and I
[5:42] Speaker 2: was there for twenty one years as one of the
[5:44] Speaker 2: managing partners. And you know that that allowed me to
[5:47] Speaker 2: become you know, a philanthropists, and.
[5:49] Speaker 1: Let's load down. Let's load down to them on because
[5:51] Speaker 1: I love people who were successful. They just go through
[5:54] Speaker 1: all these damps and those little magical moments that make
[5:57] Speaker 1: a difference. And that's why this show is in because
[6:01] Speaker 1: those moments. You know, like like you said, you said
[6:04] Speaker 1: trailer and then you jumped from trailer, which is to
[6:07] Speaker 1: Hedge Fund. Now you jump from a trailer to the
[6:12] Speaker 1: Clinton administration. You know, you jump from a trailer to
[6:15] Speaker 1: Harvard Business School. See that opportunity to slow us down
[6:21] Speaker 1: on those steps because you know, wellwithal is based on
[6:25] Speaker 1: the fact that relationships but also a drive that was
[6:29] Speaker 1: built into you, what caused you to be you. And
[6:33] Speaker 1: then just getting into the story from the trailer park
[6:35] Speaker 1: to the to the to the big house.
[6:39] Speaker 2: I love you know. I never want to bore your
[6:41] Speaker 2: your audience, you know, with more detail, but I'll flow
[6:45] Speaker 2: it down a little bit. I mean, you know, I've
[6:47] Speaker 2: had extraordinary mentors in my life, Yes, sir, people that
[6:51] Speaker 2: that that poured into me. You know, from my fifth
[6:54] Speaker 2: grade teacher that you know, I didn't understand I was
[6:57] Speaker 2: dyslexic at the time at Englewood Create in school. But
[7:01] Speaker 2: she allowed me to realize that, you know, I had
[7:04] Speaker 2: an extraordinary ability, uh when it came to math, and
[7:08] Speaker 2: that that you know, gave my wealth in terms of
[7:10] Speaker 2: an understanding of my intelligence. That that was allowed to progress.
[7:15] Speaker 2: And then you know, I've just had all of these
[7:17] Speaker 2: amazing folks who have given me shots and poured into
[7:21] Speaker 2: my life and invested in me and given me an
[7:25] Speaker 2: opportunity to thrive. You know, Charlotte, I became student body
[7:29] Speaker 2: president as a sophomore and and just had these leadership
[7:33] Speaker 2: opportunities that allowed me to give speeches and and interact
[7:37] Speaker 2: with folks. And you know, I'm I'm sitting at dinner
[7:39] Speaker 2: tables not knowing exactly you know, whish fork to use,
[7:43] Speaker 2: and eating the wrong bread at times. But but was
[7:47] Speaker 2: allowed to progress and grow and get that exposure. And
[7:50] Speaker 2: the exposure at each one of those levels, you know,
[7:53] Speaker 2: allowed me to to see myself in a different light
[7:57] Speaker 2: and and imagine what could be possible. And when I
[8:00] Speaker 2: met my wife in college, you know, she believed in
[8:05] Speaker 2: me and rolled with me and stood right beside me
[8:10] Speaker 2: and oftentimes in front of me. H and allowed me
[8:13] Speaker 2: to continue to grow. When I was at the White house.
[8:18] Speaker 2: You know, six months into my job, I was living
[8:22] Speaker 2: on my fraternity brother's couch in Alexandria, Virginia, and my
[8:26] Speaker 2: car broke down. I had to be the first person
[8:29] Speaker 2: into the West wing every morning. And my boss at
[8:32] Speaker 2: the time, Erskine Bowles, you know, heard about it, and
[8:35] Speaker 2: he said, look, you know, I'm living in this big
[8:37] Speaker 2: house in Georgetown. Once you come live with.
[8:39] Speaker 3: Me, please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with
[8:42] Speaker 3: more money Making Conversations master Class. Welcome back to the
[8:51] Speaker 3: Money Making Conversations master Class hosted by Rashaan McDonald. Money
[8:56] Speaker 3: Making Conversations master Class continues online at money Making Conversations
[9:00] Speaker 3: dot com and follow money Making Conversations Masterclass on Facebook, Twitter,
[9:05] Speaker 3: and Instagram.
[9:07] Speaker 2: And and and that, you know, was this magical changing
[9:10] Speaker 2: moment because I said yes, because I had nowhere else
[9:13] Speaker 2: to live. But the time that we spent together allowed
[9:17] Speaker 2: him to become a mentor to me and give me
[9:21] Speaker 2: exposure to to what another world, you know, could could
[9:25] Speaker 2: look like. And and and that was a really impactful moment.
[9:30] Speaker 2: And he's he's like my second father, you know, just
[9:33] Speaker 2: invested in me in in such an extraordinary way, and
[9:36] Speaker 2: in each one of those points, you know, whether it
[9:38] Speaker 2: be at Harvard Business School with Jim Cash, you know,
[9:42] Speaker 2: who was one of my greatest mentors, and David Thomas,
[9:45] Speaker 2: who's currently the president of Morehouse College. You know, those folks,
[9:49] Speaker 2: you know, gave me wisdom in those moments where I
[9:52] Speaker 2: needed it. You know, where I hadn't seen you know
[9:56] Speaker 2: what those other rooms look like. Uh, but they gave
[9:59] Speaker 2: me guidance. So when I walked into them, I was prepared.
[10:02] Speaker 1: You know, it's really amazing because, uh, you know, because
[10:06] Speaker 1: I remember I grew up in the hood, the neighborhood,
[10:08] Speaker 1: and I didn't know I because I grew up with
[10:11] Speaker 1: six sisters and two brothers them on and so I
[10:14] Speaker 1: used to spoon. I mean, my wife will tell you
[10:17] Speaker 1: she was always saying, why you always use a spoon?
[10:20] Speaker 1: You know, I would either steak with aol, I would
[10:22] Speaker 1: eat the spoon was my thing. I didn't know what
[10:25] Speaker 1: a knife was, you know, I was everything was a
[10:27] Speaker 1: spoon because we didn't have everything, you know, we you know,
[10:30] Speaker 1: that was that was my That was my number one thing,
[10:32] Speaker 1: a spoon. And my friends in college would look at me, go,
[10:35] Speaker 1: we's shy and you would eat everything with a spoon.
[10:37] Speaker 1: So yeah, well it did not have dawned on me
[10:40] Speaker 1: about a knife in a fark, especially a knife.
[10:44] Speaker 2: When you when you have, you know, lived experiences like
[10:48] Speaker 2: we've had, it gives you a level of empathy and
[10:51] Speaker 2: and understanding that that most people don't. Right, And in
[10:56] Speaker 2: my heart as soon as I had two nickels to
[10:58] Speaker 2: rub together. You know, my wife and I have poured
[11:03] Speaker 2: in the black, brown and underserved communities because we've lived
[11:06] Speaker 2: in those places. And you know, you asked me, like,
[11:09] Speaker 2: what made me me? It's been those experiences, surviving them,
[11:15] Speaker 2: seeing what the reality of them are, and living on
[11:18] Speaker 2: the other side and knowing that I have to look
[11:21] Speaker 2: back and do more because I easily could be me
[11:24] Speaker 2: right there in that same place.
[11:26] Speaker 1: You know, something on According to Deffiser, black people are at
[11:30] Speaker 1: a higher risk for heart disease, stroke, cancer, asthma, and
[11:35] Speaker 1: diabetes compared to their white components. Counterponents counterpart excuse me,
[11:41] Speaker 1: and like you just said, in the Boston area, three
[11:43] Speaker 1: miles apart, twenty three years in life's expectancy. But that's
[11:47] Speaker 1: not all based on research. The mental health side of
[11:50] Speaker 1: us is failing as well. And so what time in
[11:54] Speaker 1: your life because you mentioned a hedge fund success, you
[11:57] Speaker 1: mentioned a venture capitalist coming into your life. Best in it?
[12:01] Speaker 1: What timeline did you say? I'm successful here, but I
[12:05] Speaker 1: got to give back in a way that impacts me personally,
[12:09] Speaker 1: but also more impacts the community that I feel needs it.
[12:14] Speaker 2: Now. You know, four years ago, I was standing in
[12:18] Speaker 2: the middle of an emergency room with my oldest child
[12:21] Speaker 2: dealing with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. And that changed
[12:27] Speaker 2: my family's world. That changed my world, That changed my
[12:30] Speaker 2: whole perspective on everything. And you know, as we were
[12:35] Speaker 2: going through literally the toughest moments of our life, you know,
[12:40] Speaker 2: I had this great clarity because when I walk into
[12:43] Speaker 2: an emergency room, because I've been in a philanthropist for
[12:45] Speaker 2: the last twenty years, before I sit down, somebody says,
[12:48] Speaker 2: mister Martin, you know, we have a room for your family.
[12:51] Speaker 2: The fourteen year old version of myself in the exact
[12:55] Speaker 2: same scenario would be likely either either dead or in
[13:00] Speaker 2: given the lack of resources, living in the trailer in
[13:03] Speaker 2: rural North Carolina. And that just stuck with me. And
[13:06] Speaker 2: I was having all these sleepless nights, you know, worrying
[13:09] Speaker 2: about my child. The thing that just kept sticking with
[13:12] Speaker 2: me is like I got to do something to impact black,
[13:16] Speaker 2: brown underserved communities and and and that's been the birth
[13:19] Speaker 2: of Well with All. You know, how do you use
[13:22] Speaker 2: the skills that you have, which you know, my business partner,
[13:26] Speaker 2: a co founder, and I you know, have been capitalists
[13:29] Speaker 2: for you know, a long time, and we've built extraordinary relationships.
[13:34] Speaker 2: How do we use those skills to actually benefit black,
[13:38] Speaker 2: brown underserved communities, you know in this context. And that's
[13:42] Speaker 2: what Well Withal is. We take twenty percent of the
[13:44] Speaker 2: profits of everything that we sell and we pour it
[13:47] Speaker 2: into health equity, you know, for for the folks who
[13:51] Speaker 2: truly need it.
[13:52] Speaker 1: Now, before we go to break, Well with All, what
[13:55] Speaker 1: did the name come from?
[13:59] Speaker 2: You know, we we thought a lot about a lot
[14:01] Speaker 2: of different names, uh huh. And the thing that was
[14:04] Speaker 2: very clear is we wanted it to be Well with All.
[14:07] Speaker 2: We're not going to stop until we do it.
[14:08] Speaker 1: Wow. And that because because when you're saying you're investing
[14:13] Speaker 1: in the community, you really are with twenty percent of
[14:15] Speaker 1: your profits. And after the break, we're going to talk
[14:16] Speaker 1: about those products that you are using to physically and
[14:22] Speaker 1: emotionally and mentally inspire people they have better lives. But
[14:26] Speaker 1: when you say, well with all the spark, the drive,
[14:29] Speaker 1: and you talk about the personal story of your of
[14:31] Speaker 1: your daughter, and then I can remember before we go
[14:34] Speaker 1: to record, share this quick story. I remember when my
[14:37] Speaker 1: lung collapsed in California and I was just you know,
[14:41] Speaker 1: I was kind of doing stand up and I've been
[14:44] Speaker 1: on a lot of TV shows demand, and I remember
[14:46] Speaker 1: when I went in the hospital SESUS side and I
[14:49] Speaker 1: has a regular hospital wing and then they have a
[14:51] Speaker 1: celebrity hospital wing, and then they put me on the
[14:54] Speaker 1: celebrity floor, which means everybody couldn't come see you and
[14:57] Speaker 1: all that stuff. So I truly understand what you're saying
[14:59] Speaker 1: that halves get it. They get it when they don't
[15:03] Speaker 1: want to ask for they are going to get it
[15:05] Speaker 1: either through financial through celebrities, through who you know and
[15:08] Speaker 1: who know you. And now you're trying to give that
[15:12] Speaker 1: have to a community that is underserved and don't know
[15:17] Speaker 1: how to get it. Correct.
[15:19] Speaker 2: That's right. It does not have to be that way.
[15:22] Speaker 2: We we have to know how and the resources to
[15:26] Speaker 2: treat people with dignity and respects. And you know, again
[15:30] Speaker 2: we're using the lens of how do we create incredible products?
[15:35] Speaker 2: Take you know, the profits of things that we were
[15:37] Speaker 2: already gonna buy anyway and do good.
[15:40] Speaker 1: I'm interviewing Demand Martin. He is the founder or co
[15:44] Speaker 1: founder of Well Withal. It's an organization that is changing
[15:48] Speaker 1: their lives and it's a it was a line in
[15:50] Speaker 1: these and there. When I went to WOOFO, we we
[15:53] Speaker 1: fill out information, they said, what does generation of wealth wellness? See?
[15:58] Speaker 1: I always say wealth all the time. This first time
[15:59] Speaker 1: I've heard word generational wellness? And I said, I went
[16:03] Speaker 1: back to my old hat because when I hear generational,
[16:06] Speaker 1: I always hear wealth. So what does generational wealness mean
[16:10] Speaker 1: to you? Sir?
[16:12] Speaker 2: Hey? See like you you're you're right on point, because
[16:15] Speaker 2: generational wellness actually is generational wealth. Right there, single greatest
[16:20] Speaker 2: asset that you can have is your health. Yes, right,
[16:23] Speaker 2: I mean there there are a ton of rich people
[16:26] Speaker 2: that have zero days left. And what good is that?
[16:29] Speaker 3: We know?
[16:30] Speaker 1: You know, I I you know it's really interesting is
[16:34] Speaker 1: that you know when we young were just young, you know,
[16:37] Speaker 1: we get a cold. I know why I play I
[16:38] Speaker 1: get basket When I was young and my twenties, I
[16:40] Speaker 1: get a back, I get a cold. I just go
[16:41] Speaker 1: play the cold off. You know, I just go out
[16:43] Speaker 1: there just hoop. You know, I get a cold, I
[16:45] Speaker 1: get a cold night brother, I look like I'm in
[16:48] Speaker 1: I got a meliciny chest in my truck as I
[16:51] Speaker 1: drive home, wrapped up.
[16:55] Speaker 2: My knees.
[16:56] Speaker 1: Kn't hamdler going out there in the court. And so
[16:58] Speaker 1: so when I when I think of about that, the
[17:00] Speaker 1: whole weldness process, and and and I love getting compliments
[17:04] Speaker 1: from people at my age, you know, all those things
[17:06] Speaker 1: that have value to us. Now you have products that
[17:10] Speaker 1: you are that you went and sat down. Let's talk
[17:13] Speaker 1: about that part of the business model, because this is
[17:16] Speaker 1: money making conversation master class. You are an entrepreneur, you
[17:20] Speaker 1: develop a hedge fund, then you say, there's another model
[17:23] Speaker 1: out there that can generate revenue but also can improve
[17:26] Speaker 1: the lives of individuals from a wellness perspective. Let's talk
[17:29] Speaker 1: about that model.
[17:31] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and just you know, we have been
[17:34] Speaker 2: underserved even as even consumers right where, you know, I thought,
[17:40] Speaker 2: what if we actually looked at our consumer base and
[17:44] Speaker 2: design product with us in mind and made them premium
[17:48] Speaker 2: quality and and just really extraordinary products. And and by
[17:52] Speaker 2: the way, the response that we've gotten about our products
[17:55] Speaker 2: have been really amazing, overwhelmingly because we we've had some
[18:00] Speaker 2: of the best people in the world designed them. But
[18:02] Speaker 2: the reality is is that, you know, the nutritional composition
[18:06] Speaker 2: of the American diet is incomplete for almost everybody, and
[18:10] Speaker 2: and so by having supplements to that, whether it be
[18:14] Speaker 2: our multi vitamins, which which are extraordinary, or even thinking
[18:17] Speaker 2: about you know, how we're living our lives and not
[18:20] Speaker 2: getting enough sleep. Our speech support product is extraordinary. These
[18:24] Speaker 2: are all things that I use and my family uses,
[18:27] Speaker 2: and that you know, are enhancing the way we're living
[18:30] Speaker 2: our life. And again we're just getting really extraordinary response
[18:34] Speaker 2: from them. Let me ask you, by the way you
[18:35] Speaker 2: can go. You can go to Wellwithall dot com and
[18:37] Speaker 2: pick those up.
[18:38] Speaker 1: Okay, let me ask you this. It's about trust now,
[18:40] Speaker 1: because you know, you know, I get up in the morning,
[18:43] Speaker 1: I kid you not. I got I got my high
[18:45] Speaker 1: bless your prey peel. I got my high blessed blood
[18:48] Speaker 1: pressure peel. I got my thyroid peel. I got my
[18:51] Speaker 1: calcium peel, I got my I got three other pills
[18:55] Speaker 1: I take. I got a peal for my because central
[18:59] Speaker 1: you know, because of by multi vitem appeal. Now, now,
[19:03] Speaker 1: how do I trust you, you know, and I'm not
[19:06] Speaker 1: saying in the negative man, And that's what we're doing now.
[19:08] Speaker 1: We're taking people who are tied to going into a
[19:12] Speaker 1: drug store seeing all these brands that have told us
[19:17] Speaker 1: you should be using us. And so when you have
[19:20] Speaker 1: a new product like yours, how do we how do
[19:23] Speaker 1: you convince me that I can trust you it really
[19:26] Speaker 1: is going to work?
[19:28] Speaker 2: You know. The thing that I'm really proud of is
[19:30] Speaker 2: the team that we've been able to attract. And again,
[19:34] Speaker 2: you know, I invested in the consumer world for over
[19:36] Speaker 2: twenty years and with an extraordinary fashion, and we've been
[19:42] Speaker 2: able to bring some of the best in the world.
[19:44] Speaker 2: We've got a unicorn and our chief merchant who has
[19:48] Speaker 2: been in this industry for twenty years and doing so
[19:52] Speaker 2: in a really extraordinary way. The former CEO at G
[19:55] Speaker 2: and C is one of our business partners. We brought
[19:58] Speaker 2: together the best people in the world to develop these products.
[20:03] Speaker 2: And also you'll you'll see some some significant announcements. We've
[20:07] Speaker 2: partnered with some of the biggest institutions UH in the
[20:11] Speaker 2: world as well. We're making these products with with excellence
[20:16] Speaker 2: because that is what we deserve. And and and by
[20:19] Speaker 2: the way, Everything is premium quality right right. Everything is
[20:23] Speaker 2: clinically studied dosages with clinically studied ingredients every day, all day,
[20:29] Speaker 2: you know, because we we we we wanted to take
[20:31] Speaker 2: zero risks with that factor.
[20:33] Speaker 1: Because no one's question that, you know, like I said,
[20:36] Speaker 1: and that's that's why I brought you on the show,
[20:37] Speaker 1: because of the fact that I've done my research and
[20:39] Speaker 1: this is this is people. I hope I've developed a
[20:43] Speaker 1: reputation out there in this industry where people who listen
[20:46] Speaker 1: to my show, they trust that Shan has done his research.
[20:49] Speaker 1: He's talking to a credible source. But it is competition,
[20:53] Speaker 1: it is marketing. It is being able to have your
[20:57] Speaker 1: products stand out on the shelf of people clicking your
[21:00] Speaker 1: online how do you market your product and it's new, so.
[21:05] Speaker 2: You know, one of the things that we're doing, we're
[21:07] Speaker 2: actually out with our consumers. We were Essence Stuffs and
[21:14] Speaker 2: the response that we got there both with a new
[21:17] Speaker 2: drink that will be launching next year as well as
[21:20] Speaker 2: our existing products, and just to see the response over
[21:24] Speaker 2: and over and over again, to have people there was
[21:27] Speaker 2: a moment where my wife was just in tears because
[21:29] Speaker 2: it's one thing to come home and say baby, Look, look, loter,
[21:31] Speaker 2: what we're about to do to see you know, hundreds
[21:35] Speaker 2: and hundreds and hundreds of people over and over again
[21:38] Speaker 2: say this is really good. This is really good, this
[21:40] Speaker 2: is really good. And we got the exact same response
[21:43] Speaker 2: that the HBCU Classic in New York that we were
[21:47] Speaker 2: just at this this past Saturday. And the consumer is
[21:50] Speaker 2: telling us over and over again that they love what
[21:54] Speaker 2: we're what we're building and developing, and there's going to
[21:56] Speaker 2: be more and more that that continues to come.
[21:58] Speaker 1: You know, is people special, man? You know I love
[22:02] Speaker 1: I love us, man, I'm telling you. And that's all
[22:05] Speaker 1: about to go with the ball. They they they they
[22:07] Speaker 1: are like the truth sayers. You know what I'm saying.
[22:09] Speaker 1: When they say this is good, that meant that they
[22:12] Speaker 1: really didn't believe. They didn't believe, and then you you
[22:16] Speaker 1: sold them out right there they turned there go this
[22:19] Speaker 1: is really really good. And so so talk to us
[22:22] Speaker 1: about some of the different products, because you talk about
[22:24] Speaker 1: you have a drink coming out, and and how these
[22:26] Speaker 1: products go through the test cycle and and then uh,
[22:30] Speaker 1: and then just talk about the website and and drive
[22:33] Speaker 1: people to your websites.
[22:34] Speaker 2: Are yeah, again, the products are really extraordinary. The men's
[22:40] Speaker 2: and when women's uh multi vitamins are are incredible, the
[22:43] Speaker 2: sleep products are incredible. We've got this line good numbers,
[22:49] Speaker 2: the special formulated for exactly the areas in which we
[22:55] Speaker 2: we tend to be most vulnerable as we think about cholesterol, diabetes,
[22:59] Speaker 2: hypertension and and you know, preventative measures you know around
[23:03] Speaker 2: that that we should be having those conversations early in life,
[23:06] Speaker 2: you know, particularly if if there's a family history and
[23:08] Speaker 2: and uh, there's just an overall concern like and and
[23:12] Speaker 2: in addition to the products, like, we're not stopping there,
[23:15] Speaker 2: We're creating really great content around these conditions and and
[23:21] Speaker 2: and issues that we're suffering from, you know, putting putting
[23:24] Speaker 2: together with Boston Children's Hospital a parenting toolkit that you know,
[23:29] Speaker 2: parents that are that are dealing with anxiety, depression and suicidality,
[23:34] Speaker 2: all these things that a lot of folks are paying
[23:37] Speaker 2: hundreds of thousands of dollars to get advice on. You know,
[23:40] Speaker 2: we're we're going to be producing content to to help
[23:42] Speaker 2: folks you know, manage through and get educated, uh in
[23:47] Speaker 2: in these important areas. I will say, oh, sorry.
[23:51] Speaker 1: Now, I was just I was just letting people know
[23:52] Speaker 1: where with all yeah, well with all blood pressure support, yeah,
[23:56] Speaker 1: well with all blood sugar support, Yeah, with all cholesterol
[24:02] Speaker 1: support you have, well with all vitamin D three and
[24:06] Speaker 1: K two, well with all mega three. Well with all
[24:10] Speaker 1: women's multi as well as sleep support. Is that sleep support,
[24:15] Speaker 1: and then as well as men multime. So across the board,
[24:18] Speaker 1: you're covering all areas and so one that's important, correct
[24:24] Speaker 1: that you've been able to offer these things that are
[24:26] Speaker 1: important to a certain age group as well as people
[24:29] Speaker 1: who who need them as men and women. That's that's
[24:33] Speaker 1: the whole process, right.
[24:35] Speaker 2: That that that's exactly right. And and the drink that
[24:38] Speaker 2: we're launching, you know, we'll be taste testing around the country.
[24:42] Speaker 2: But it's a it's a caffeinated beverage, only eighty milligrams
[24:47] Speaker 2: of caffeine, all natural, and it tastes fantastic. So if
[24:52] Speaker 2: you think about, you know, what's one of the highest
[24:55] Speaker 2: caloric intake products across the country, it's it's the sugary
[25:02] Speaker 2: sodas that that folks are are consuming. And we've got
[25:06] Speaker 2: something that uh, they can they can switch out and
[25:09] Speaker 2: and uh and we'll really enjoy well.
[25:11] Speaker 1: You know, well, first of all, thank you for taking
[25:13] Speaker 1: the time that you articulately. You're smart. You know, I'll
[25:17] Speaker 1: be honest with you. I've read about hedge funds. I
[25:20] Speaker 1: just first time I met a guy who started a
[25:23] Speaker 1: head fund. So I feel good about this interview. I'm
[25:26] Speaker 1: moving up.
[25:26] Speaker 2: Just started, but I was there from the from the from.
[25:29] Speaker 1: The I'm gonna tell you them just like just like
[25:31] Speaker 1: those people in essence, they looked at you when this
[25:33] Speaker 1: tastes good. I'm gonna say, you just started this. Okay,
[25:36] Speaker 1: this tastes good. See you gotta give me some props. Now,
[25:39] Speaker 1: you gotta let me. Let me let me self hype
[25:42] Speaker 1: myself to my fan base. You know what I'm saying.
[25:45] Speaker 1: So when they when they google hedge fun, it's a
[25:47] Speaker 1: Youshan moving up. He interviewed the founders of hedge Funds. Oh,
[25:55] Speaker 1: I appreciate you, man, but give us that that that
[25:57] Speaker 1: that website one more time and again we'll be bringing
[25:59] Speaker 1: you back when you drop that drink. Because of course,
[26:03] Speaker 1: you know, like I said, man, that's why I'm honest
[26:06] Speaker 1: in telling people what I do. What my daily regime is.
[26:09] Speaker 1: You might look at me, go we should you look good,
[26:11] Speaker 1: but we should have taken some pills okay, to look good,
[26:13] Speaker 1: to get up to walk okay. And that's why I
[26:16] Speaker 1: had to bring you on the show to say, hey man,
[26:18] Speaker 1: you know there's an African American man that's out here
[26:21] Speaker 1: competing in the industry that's providing products that you guys
[26:25] Speaker 1: should consider. And that's what well, hey.
[26:28] Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna we're gonna send you some additional product, brother,
