[0:00] Behind me are eight entrepreneurs, all competing for $100,000 and this golden ticket, which gives them a year of guidance for myself and my team behind our $250 million per year portfolio.
[0:11] How much the golden ticket is worth to me?
[0:12] It's priceless.
[0:13] Absolutely priceless.
[0:14] Just so you know what's at stake here, this golden ticket has the potential to save or scale some of these businesses they've spent years building.
[0:20] It's the culmination of my life's work.
[0:22] I left a six-figure career after my mom passed away.
[0:24] Some will scale.
[0:25] Some will scale.
[0:26] I've made over $20 million from nothing.
[0:28] Some will fail.
[0:29] I can't think of a time I would have done that.
[0:31] Dude, I need a moment.
[0:33] And the winner is...
[0:39] So welcome everyone to round one.
[0:40] This is the qualification round.
[0:42] So I met with all you guys 90 days ago, and I give you a step-by-step roadmap on how to scale your businesses.
[0:47] And since the goal of this competition is to find the business that we together want to work with, I wanna see how well you've implemented the advice and how much you've all grown since the last time we spoke.
[0:56] Now, the stakes.
[0:58] There will be four eliminations this round, and it will all be based on growth.
[1:02] We're going to be asking you guys the same question so that my partners have the exact same context and intel that I have.
[1:08] And so for those who don't know, this is Sharan Svatsar, our CEO and Prez, head honcho of all things.
[1:13] This is my lovely wife, Layla, most importantly, but also my forever business partner.
[1:18] And what is your official chairwoman?
[1:21] You haven't known my title in a decade since we've been working together.
[1:25] Layla oversees all of our investments.
[1:27] And so I invited both of them here so we could make the absolute best judgment on who to select.
[1:32] So business owner number one, please go ahead.
[1:34] My name is Tina Su, and I coach parents of children with autism and ADHD and speech delay.
[1:39] Trailing 12 months, I did $1.1 million.
[1:43] Okay.
[1:44] Can you step up to the center?
[1:45] Hi.
[1:45] Hi.
[1:46] All right.
[1:47] So Tina, 90 days ago, you said that your constraint was you as the bottleneck.
[1:51] And so to fix that, the biggest levers that we identified were, number one, that you'd build a system so your team could answer repeat questions without you.
[1:57] Number two, fix the pricing for your one-on-one time.
[2:00] And then number three is we had to cut your three to four hour pitch down to a tight 45 minute webinar.
[2:06] And then be clear about when you're teaching versus when you're selling and not being afraid to really sell.
[2:12] Did you do it?
[2:13] I did everything.
[2:13] I executed everything.
[2:15] And I ended up doing 13 weekly webinars.
[2:19] I sold 232 enrollment spots.
[2:21] Amazing.
[2:22] That's so good.
[2:23] Compared to 75 before.
[2:25] So more than three eggs.
[2:27] So how much did you grow from doing those webinars and implementing everything?
[2:31] Yeah.
[2:31] My 12-month run rate was $918,000 before.
[2:33] Now is at $1.84 million.
[2:36] Hell yeah.
[2:36] Amazing.
[2:37] In 90 days.
[2:38] In 90 days.
[2:38] That's so good.
[2:39] Thank you.
[2:40] Next contestant, can you introduce yourself?
[2:42] My name is Ziad Ossi, MD.
[2:44] I own Precision Health Concierge Medicine.
[2:45] We're a preventative medicine practice in the concierge space.
[2:48] Trailing 12-month revenue is $3.2 million.
[2:51] All right.
[2:51] Please step up.
[2:52] Yes.
[2:53] So 90 days ago, Ziad, you said the constraint was marketing.
[2:55] So to fix that, the biggest levers that we identified were, number one, turn every visit into a built-in referrals.
[3:00] Number two was give away something big instead of discounting.
[3:03] And then number three, sell where the rich customers already gather.
[3:05] So show up at the local events with a flashy kind of like health scan machine to hook and then sell the higher income prospects.
[3:11] Did you implement?
[3:13] It was a little bit complicated for me.
[3:16] Right after we talked, I had realized basically where I am is very seasonal.
[3:20] So there were pretty much no events.
[3:22] So I realized I can use my relationships that already exist.
[3:25] Like a lot of my patients live in country clubs.
[3:27] So one of the first patients, we did a country club event and other patients saw it advertised.
[3:32] And so they got excited and they came to us like, hey, can you do this at my country club?
[3:36] So we're actually seeing the delivery channel of the events that was recommended work, especially with almost no CAC.
[3:41] Yeah.
[3:42] Which is amazing.
[3:43] So tell us about your growth.
[3:45] So 90 days ago, we were estimating that we would clear 4 million run rate, and now it's closer to 4.5.
[3:53] Got it.
[3:54] Rock and roll.
[3:55] Thank you.
[3:55] Thank you.
[3:56] Let's give him a little hand.
[3:57] Give him a little hand.
[3:58] Next contestant, can you introduce yourself?
[4:00] I'm Min Jenkinson, and I teach crafters how to make stickers.
[4:03] My revenue for the last 12 months was between $850,000 and $900,000 U.S.,
[4:08] Go, Mim, selling stickers.
[4:10] So good.
[4:11] Yeah, you're all in the wrong business, that's all I'm saying.
[4:12] What are we doing?
[4:14] She's like, I'm selling 10 so hard.
[4:16] Yeah, she's like, I'm selling stickers.
[4:18] And it's joyful.
[4:19] Yeah.
[4:21] So Mim, step on up.
[4:23] Yeah, Mim.
[4:24] All right, so 90 days ago, you said your constraint was not enough customers.
[4:27] And so to fix that, we identified two big levers.
[4:29] So number one, we spent way more on ads.
[4:32] And then number two was replace many cheap courses and products with one much higher priced annual offer.
[4:37] Were you able to implement the ideas?
[4:39] Absolutely everything on the list, everything and a little bit more.
[4:44] That's awesome.
[4:45] And did you grow?
[4:45] Yeah.
[4:46] I did, yeah.
[4:47] So before, my revenue was around the $800, $850, $900, depending on the Australian conversion.
[4:52] Yeah, yeah.
[4:53] And then projected now for the next 12 months is more like $1.76 million.
[4:58] And you may remember that I spoke to you about my goal being to be able to pay off my home loan and then to be able to buy my mum's house for her as well to pay her back the money.
[5:07] And that is just so much closer than I thought it ever would be.
[5:10] Fantastic.
[5:10] Oh, that's amazing.
[5:11] Congratulations.
[5:11] Give it up for him.
[5:12] Thank you.
[5:12] Good job.
[5:12] Thank you.
[5:15] Next contestant, can you introduce yourself?
[5:17] My name is Nas.
[5:18] I run Flix.moving.
[5:19] From the name, we do move people from point A to point B.
[5:21] In the last 12 months, we did $400,000.
[5:23] All right, Nas, come on up.
[5:27] Got enough.
[5:27] All right.
[5:28] The Phoenix.
[5:32] Good to see you.
[5:33] Yeah.
[5:33] Good to see you too, man.
[5:34] So 90 days ago, you said your constraint was not enough leads and customers.
[5:37] And so to fix that, the biggest levers were, number one, stop competing on hourly price.
[5:42] Number two is with that is sell to the rich, right, with a VIP tier versus a standard tier.
[5:46] Were you able to implement the ideas?
[5:49] Yes.
[5:49] I did do some flat rates and I had closed my biggest move ever of $15,000.
[5:55] It's not quite like your move at 25, but we get in there, right?
[5:58] By the way, I watched that episode and heard what she said about me.
[6:01] What did I say?
[6:01] You were like, she definitely spent like $25,000.
[6:04] Because like, I'll tell you, when I moved,
[6:06] I honestly have no idea what I paid, but I'm guessing it's probably in the neighborhood of like $25,000.
[6:10] I have no clue.
[6:12] Did we spend $25,000?
[6:13] No.
[6:14] Really?
[6:14] Less.
[6:15] How much was it?
[6:15] I'm a bargain shopper.
[6:16] Anyways.
[6:19] No VIP for Layla.
[6:21] I'll get you a VIP next time.
[6:23] It won't be $25,000.
[6:23] You know, I told that story to inspire.
[6:25] I just wanted to give a great example.
[6:27] He's even looking at the bank account.
[6:30] That being said, how much did you grow?
[6:32] So we were at 360 back then.
[6:34] We're currently on track to do 1.03 million.
[6:37] Dude, congratulations.
[6:38] Give it up for us.
[6:39] Thank you so much.
[6:40] Thank you.
[6:41] How are you, man?
[6:42] Thank you.
[6:43] Sir Paul.
[6:44] My name is Paul Fontanelli.
[6:45] I'm from Boulder Adventure Park.
[6:47] Our trailing 12 months is 4.8 million.
[6:50] So 90 days ago, you said the constraint was cash flow.
[6:52] And so the business was running at half capacity and you were bleeding money with no fast way to bring in revenue.
[6:57] And you already put your 401k into the business to keep it alive.
[7:00] Honestly, the hardest day was when my CFO sends me a cash flow.
[7:04] We're not going to make it to today.
[7:06] Like we were that short.
[7:09] And that's when I said, it's all in.
[7:12] I looked at my 401k and I was like, put it all in.
[7:18] Now, when you have a small team, you can't split focus across multiple offers, so you had to pick one and go all in.
[7:22] And so we needed to decide on running one Grand Slam offer, which was we decided for summer camp, and to do a giveaway to generate lots of leads and bring in cash quickly.
[7:32] Did you implement it?
[7:33] Oh, we definitely implemented.
[7:35] To say that we got a lot of leads is an understatement.
[7:37] So many that it was just a flood.
[7:39] We got over 3,700 leads in the giveaway, which was phenomenal.
[7:45] We struggled, to be very candid with you, down the conversion pipeline.
[7:48] I don't think our team had ever seen that volume of leads, so it was a good problem.
[7:53] When you saw the struggle in conversion, how did it impact growth?
[7:57] Love to hear about the growth numbers.
[7:59] Yeah.
[7:59] I love that.
[8:00] I think I'd like to talk about growth beyond just the numbers.
[8:03] I mean, the numbers are definitely something I can go into.
[8:05] I think one of the things I'm most proud of is I stood in front of Alex and the phrase that hit me the hardest is he said, your business is a mess.
[8:11] And at that time it absolutely was.
[8:13] There's a lot of reasons for it.
[8:14] I don't like to make excuses.
[8:16] At that time, I was at a very challenging point.
[8:19] Since that time, we've been able to get all of our metrics together in a way that I have every number you'd ever dream of that I can talk through through every piece of the business.
[8:27] That's awesome.
[8:28] Can you also share the numbers?
[8:29] Yeah, run rate, I think, was 4.4 million.
[8:32] Run rate now is 4 million because we had a little bit of a lull kind of getting through this and where we want to go in the future.
[8:38] No, I appreciate it.
[8:39] Give it up for Paul.
[8:39] Thank you.
[8:40] Great job, Paul.
[8:40] Thank you.
[8:43] And now it's time for our first elimination.
[8:49] So, Paul, as of right now, you grew the least.
[8:53] And so, unfortunately, you'll be eliminated at this round.
[8:58] So right now, these are the four to beat.
[9:00] Well done, Paul.
[9:01] And we will continue.
[9:06] Caleb, let's do it.
[9:09] My name is Caleb with a K. I own Keys Roofing Company.
[9:12] We've done $250,000 within the last 12 months for trailing 12 month revenue.
[9:17] So 90 days ago, you were six weeks into business, which is insane.
[9:20] Wait, seriously?
[9:22] Yeah, you started six weeks before this.
[9:25] So at the time, you were doing both roof repairs, which were small jobs, and then replacements, which paid more.
[9:31] The opportunity was that your competitor generally didn't want to do the repairs because they paid less.
[9:35] And so to capitalize on this, the biggest levers that we identified were, number one, to chase the repairs, not just the big roof replacements, while raising prices and increasing volume.
[9:42] And then adding the mini-close script to increase close rates and build trust.
[9:46] And the mini-close script is like my absolute all-time favorite sales script.
[9:51] I've spent so long honing those four steps to make it just crush.
[9:54] Did you get a chance to implement the strategies?
[9:56] 100%.
[9:57] So I was rewatching my episode and Alex talked about systemizing the living shit out of the door knocking piece.
[10:03] Word for word, yeah, that sounds about right.
[10:05] Had the mini-close work.
[10:06] And the mini-close was crazy.
[10:08] It was absolutely insane.
[10:09] So like, it enhances trust and authenticity.
[10:13] And once I give those recommendations, like, these people are so happy to give me their money because I've made it easy for them.
[10:19] Would you say it slaps?
[10:20] It slaps so hard.
[10:22] How did that translate to growth?
[10:24] It was $370,000 before, and now it's $2 million.
[10:26] And now it's $2 million.
[10:27] Yes.
[10:28] Yeah, that's a large difference.
[10:30] Everyone give it up for Caleb.
[10:32] And now we'll be doing another elimination.
[10:38] Let's see here.
[10:38] Dr. Z, you are right now the current lowest growth of the four on the panel.
[10:46] I see.
[10:47] Step on up.
[10:50] My name is Hasey Nazir.
[10:52] I own Smile Magic Holistic Dentistry.
[10:54] Our trailing 12 month revenue was 2.2 million.
[10:57] So 90 days ago, your constraint was that your dad was the only dentist who could do the clinical work across your three locations.
[11:02] And so the whole business was capped by his calendar, right?
[11:06] And so to fix that, the two big lovers that we identified, we identified more, but two big ones were, hire more dentists to take off work from your dad's plate so that he could become, shift his kind of identity from being the best dentist to being the best teacher of dentists.
[11:18] The second was aggressively raise prices since you had a 90% close rate, meaning the prices were too low.
[11:23] And then we added a little bit of a juice to the sales motion.
[11:26] Yeah.
[11:27] Did you do it?
[11:28] Yes.
[11:29] Yes.
[11:29] So day one, got back home, told my dad, you know what?
[11:35] Surprise, surprise.
[11:35] We're going to increase prices again.
[11:38] And he was like, again?
[11:40] We just raised prices.
[11:43] And next day, he got the positive reinforcement.
[11:46] We closed a $70,000 case paid up front in Newport Beach.
[11:50] That tends to do it.
[11:51] And it was.
[11:52] Chef's kiss.
[11:53] Yeah.
[11:54] He called me.
[11:54] He was like, you want to guess what just happened?
[11:56] And I'm like, yeah.
[11:58] And he's like, it was amazing.
[11:59] Nothing sells like proof.
[12:00] Good job.
[12:01] It's really impressive, especially like there are so many people in similar industries that I think finding other doctors, delegating that all of the things that doctors do.
[12:10] So like kudos to you for like zero.
[12:13] Just hustle.
[12:14] Bullshit.
[12:14] Thank you.
[12:15] In the past 90 days, we have grown more than he has in the past 30 years.
[12:19] So how much have you grown exactly?
[12:22] So in the past 90 days, it was 1.73 million at the beginning.
[12:28] And then as of right now, our revenue run rate is just over 4 million.
[12:33] Damn.
[12:34] In 90 days.
[12:35] In 90 days.
[12:35] Dude, so good.
[12:36] Well, first, let's give it up for Hasee.
[12:39] Thank you.
[12:40] All right.
[12:41] It's time for our third elimination.
[12:48] Nos, right now your revenue grew the least of the four people that we have right now.
[12:52] So you've been eliminated this round, but you're still in everyone's hearts.
[12:57] I appreciate you deeply.
[12:58] Thank you.
[12:59] Dude, congrats, man.
[13:00] Thank you.
[13:00] You can step on back.
[13:03] Okay.
[13:03] Last but not least, Joey.
[13:05] My name is Joey Goon.
[13:07] I run a company called Utopia Experience.
[13:09] We are an event planning company.
[13:11] Awesome.
[13:12] What was trailing 12?
[13:13] $1.3 million.
[13:14] All right, so 90 days ago, the real problem was that your prices were actually made up on the spot, and your margins were too thin, and your sales team was converting far worse than you were.
[13:22] So we had kind of a number of different issues.
[13:24] Yeah.
[13:24] And so to fix that, the biggest levers we identified, we identified a lot, but just big ones were, number one, build a real pricing formula so that every deal is profitable by design rather than by accident.
[13:33] Number two was have your sales reps just book meetings and not just close deals since you're currently much more effective at closing.
[13:40] So we kind of shifted the whole sales pipeline up a step.
[13:42] And then number three, going after B2B events and sponsored booths puts you in front of hundreds of your ideal customers at once rather than chasing the individual accounts one at a time.
[13:52] Did you get a chance to implement the strategies?
[13:54] Yes.
[13:55] Yes, we did.
[13:56] We did all the things.
[13:57] We immediately booked a sponsorship to an event that happened two weeks after I left here and filming.
[14:01] That sponsorship was a $15,000 investment.
[14:03] The result of that was $670,000 of closed business.
[14:06] Damn.
[14:07] That I'm excited to go back to.
[14:07] Matter of fact, my team closed $300,000 this morning.
[14:10] Oh, yeah.
[14:13] It's like, I'm in Vegas, and they send me a message, and they're like, go take it home, bro.
[14:17] Like, you know, we've got this.
[14:18] You can put $100 on block.
[14:19] Yeah.
[14:19] This is great.
[14:20] So you've made just under $3 million from a $15,000 single-sponsored event.
[14:29] using the stuff that we outlined.
[14:30] That seems like it was a pretty good return.
[14:32] 200x return?
[14:33] That's chill.
[14:34] What does the actual growth look like, like revenue profit?
[14:37] Yeah, so we did 1.3 million in 2025.
[14:40] We're on path now to do 4.1 million.
[14:42] Tough.
[14:42] Amazing.
[14:43] Over in 90 days.
[14:44] Wow.
[14:45] All right.
[14:46] And that doesn't include the 2 million that still sits in the pipeline.
[14:49] So good.
[14:50] Amazing.
[14:51] All right, so give it up for Joey.
[14:52] For actually taking action.
[14:54] Go, dude!
[14:55] I also think that there is these baked in beliefs that certain channels don't work, like sponsorships don't work or events don't work.
[15:03] Kudos to all of you for taking a belief that you had and breaking that, which is what has kind of created this transformational growth for all of you.
[15:11] So great job.
[15:12] And now it's time for our last elimination of round one.
[15:19] And so unfortunately, Mim, even though you had a monster, you know, almost $800,000 in annualized revenue growth, it's the least, which is insane to even say, of the four remaining contestants.
[15:29] You can change the rules.
[15:30] I'm okay staying.
[15:32] I've got more things to say.
[15:34] No, you're good.
[15:36] Thank you.
[15:37] Good luck, everyone.
[15:38] Thanks, Mim.
[15:40] I'll just make the obvious observation, which is that the numbers that you guys all shared were still monster number growth in terms of revenue and profit and hearing more growth in 90 days than 28 years or doing three or four X in terms of how much your revenue is doing.
[15:56] Again, in just 90 days, I think the more important thing I want for the audience or anyone's watching at home is you really can't change your stars in a very short period of time.
[16:04] If you have the right strategy, and I think the big part is the big conviction.
[16:07] And I think you guys took absolutely massive action for a number of reasons.
[16:10] And I think the biggest one should be for you and your customers.
[16:12] That's the real game.
[16:13] So.
[16:14] I think there's a correlation between the amount of conviction there is in the plan that was set with Alex and the success that I'm seeing in the numbers.
[16:21] Sometimes there's things that get in the way, but it's really clear the enthusiasm translates into results.
[16:26] And I think sometimes the more critical and logical that we can be, the worse it is for us sometimes.
[16:31] And so I just think kudos to everyone who just massively executed because we like to say at acquisition.com, test and learn.
[16:38] And you don't,
[16:39] learn anything by debating in your head or debating in a room or debating amongst people on your team.
[16:44] You just learn by executing ruthlessly.
[16:45] So really cool.
[16:52] This round is the implementation round.
[16:53] So this is where we're going to go deeper into the roadmap and see exactly how you implemented each of the pieces of advice that I gave earlier.
[17:00] And so we're going to have two eliminations this round based on how you answer the questions.
[17:04] So just tell the truth.
[17:05] That is my big, my big piece of advice.
[17:09] What?
[17:11] Don't be a shitty person.
[17:12] Yeah.
[17:12] Yeah.
[17:13] Don't do that.
[17:13] And so, Joey, you can come back up.
[17:16] And we're gonna talk about the roadmap.
[17:18] So the last round we kind of briefly touched on it, but this one, I have all the notes from our talk.
[17:25] And so we had five big things that we asked you to do.
[17:29] And so the first one was to change the offer.
[17:33] And so we wanted you to build a cost basis quote generator and then add a price lock guarantee and then add prepay and multi event discounts.
[17:40] Yes.
[17:40] So how'd you do on that one?
[17:42] We did it.
[17:43] We built the price module within the first 30 days.
[17:46] We've implemented multi-year contracts.
[17:49] We took our average contract price from $44,000 to an average of $200,000 just by implementing that one little thing.
[17:56] The next thing was the sales motion, right?
[17:58] So we wanted to restructure the team so they would set appointments so that you would just do closing.
[18:03] Um, we added the events per year question.
[18:05] We deployed three VSLs was the goal.
[18:07] We wanted to do same day quotes ideally, and then run a daily cadence with LinkedIn outreach.
[18:11] So of those things, which ones did you, were you able to do?
[18:15] Uh, we did all of them.
[18:16] Hell yeah.
[18:16] Yeah.
[18:17] So what's the close right now?
[18:18] Close rate is 48%, which for me is like... What was it before?
[18:23] It was 44.
[18:24] Okay.
[18:25] And you just 5X the price.
[18:26] Yeah.
[18:27] Chill.
[18:27] Next one was B2B events as an acquisition channel.
[18:30] So buying booths at as many speaking events as you could, and then build kind of the 20 mistakes talk with the QR opt-in.
[18:36] So how'd that go?
[18:38] Where I'm really now aggressively pursuing speaking as the second most profitable acquisition channel.
[18:44] So that's kind of like in progress.
[18:45] Yeah, that's in progress.
[18:46] I'm speaking at an event next month in Denver.
[18:48] Yeah, last but not least was content.
[18:50] So content in organic.
[18:51] So making content aimed at recruiting salespeople and reperspiring event footage as social proof for outbound.
[18:57] In the process right now of building an application page with a VSL and working with recruiters.
[19:02] So change the offer, change the pricing, change the sales motion, narrow down the acquisition channel to B2B events and sponsorships.
[19:11] Yeah.
[19:11] What's in motion right now is the organic to some degree and the speaking part on you.
[19:17] Yeah.
[19:18] Correct?
[19:19] Correct.
[19:20] What was unexpected?
[19:21] We've made a lot of sacrifices over the 90 days to do what we needed to do to get the business to where it is.
[19:27] And now being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel on the other side of that and what we're building, getting to the point where, you know, now we could...
[19:35] like now we want to get to the point where we could buy back our time and be the parents that we, I mean, not that we were, we weren't shitty.
[19:42] We've never been shitty parents, right?
[19:43] Like I just want to, for the record, but, um, but working those like 16 hour, 16 hour days.
[19:50] Um, like I just, you know, I'm, I'm grateful to see what we're building.
[19:55] Um, but the hardest thing was the, the compromises and the sacrifices that we had to make to implement all of these things.
[20:01] Um, but it's, you know, look at where we are.
[20:04] I would also say like 90 days is so short in the grand scheme of things.
[20:09] Yeah.
[20:10] And compared to the amount of people that I talked to that have sacrificed years and years with their kids and lost the childhoods and seeing them as babies and seeing their first steps.
[20:18] Like the fact that you guys are to implement it that quickly and you can only look back and say for 90 days we did that.
[20:24] I see that as a huge win.
[20:25] Absolutely.
[20:26] Yeah.
[20:26] Yeah.
[20:26] Thank you for that.
[20:27] Good job.
[20:28] Thank you.
[20:28] Thank you guys.
[20:29] Congrats.
[20:32] Let's go, Caleb.
[20:33] We had six things that we outlined as kind of core focus.
[20:38] So number one was the offer.
[20:40] So making repairs, the main engine, and raising the average repair ticket price from $2,500 to $5,000, and adding a speed upsell, and hiring the in-house repair technician to keep the menu narrow.
[20:53] How'd that one go?
[20:54] Everything's been fantastic.
[20:55] So the hiring, the repair tech has really unlocked my ability on the door-to-door to be able to sell more and then get things done absolutely quickly.
[21:04] The VSL, while done, still needs a little bit of time.
[21:08] So menu sale, yes.
[21:10] Offer, yes.
[21:11] VSL in progress.
[21:13] Correct.
[21:13] All right.
[21:14] Door-to-door army.
[21:15] So recruiting two to three salespeople with a million or more in prior production.
[21:19] So with that, yes, I have a gentleman that I'm bringing onto the team as of Wednesday of next week.
[21:24] I've been bringing in people that have so much more experience than I.
[21:28] Like, my average employee is 40.
[21:30] So they see what I'm doing.
[21:32] Ancient.
[21:33] Well, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out.
[21:38] We call them the elderly.
[21:42] The reason I'm able to attract that level of candidate is they see my dedication.
[21:46] And that's why I've been so attracted to the content and everything that you guys make.
[21:49] Because despite the... Because we're older.
[21:52] Well, no.
[21:53] Despite the position that you're in, people want to work for somebody that they trust with their future.
[21:58] And I have employees that'll work at 7, 30, 8, 9 still texting me.
[22:03] Because they understand that I'm still up and I'm still making this happen with every fiber of my being.
[22:08] So...
[22:08] So that one's in progress.
[22:10] The membership was progress update on that one.
[22:12] So with the membership, now that I'm doing more full replacements, I'm starting to pitch that.
[22:18] I'm still trying to figure out, like I said, the best way to go about.
[22:22] Yeah, to script it.
[22:23] And I think transparently, there's been so many action steps that I had that I'm really just trying to do all of it.
[22:29] And...
[22:30] There's maybe some things I've deemed more important than others.
[22:34] So I still need to continue to implement that.
[22:35] It's just there's so much stuff, quite honestly.
[22:38] I appreciate the honesty.
[22:39] Yeah.
[22:40] What was hard?
[22:41] What was hard based on the strategies that Alex laid out for you?
[22:45] Giving up control.
[22:48] You know, that, oh, they can't do it the same way that I do it.
[22:52] And at that same point to take a step back is to be the leader and like actually stepping into the coaching role.
[23:00] I would say that was the most difficult, but it's trusting your people.
[23:03] And they've shown me that the tasks that I put out there, I can trust them to do it.
[23:08] I don't put up the catch all anymore.
[23:11] I think it's really cool because you've compressed a lot of entrepreneurial lessons is what I hear from you into a short amount of time.
[23:17] Like I hear you talking about the lessons that you've learned, not just the things that you've implemented.
[23:21] If you continue to do that over the next year, two years, like, dude, you're going to blow up.
[23:25] Super dangerous.
[23:26] I feel like 15 years older from 90 days.
[23:29] Well, it's the amount of reps. Tell me about it.
[23:31] Quite honestly.
[23:32] Yeah.
[23:32] But like, think about it.
[23:33] It's like my last company.
[23:34] Which is super old, by the way.
[23:37] Okay.
[23:38] We'll give it up for Caleb.
[23:40] Good job.
[23:43] Okay.
[23:44] Tina, now you're up.
[23:46] Tina!
[23:47] Let's talk about this roadmap and go into it.
[23:50] Offer-wise, we said we needed to restructure the pricing and billing.
[23:53] So you had like $150 TO, which was discontinued, right?
[23:55] I got rid of that, yep.
[23:56] And then we had a much more expensive option.
[23:58] So walk me through it.
[23:59] How'd that go?
[24:00] So it's at $2,500.
[24:02] It used to be 12 months.
[24:04] I've changed it to six months.
[24:06] And I've also changed the upsell for the next level in the middle of the three months versus at the end of the 12 months.
[24:13] Well done.
[24:13] The Alex are all over.
[24:14] Of course.
[24:15] Yeah.
[24:17] That single offer has made me.
[24:19] So much.
[24:20] Like probably $50 million.
[24:22] Like that has made me a tremendous amount of money.
[24:24] Yeah.
[24:24] Probably more.
[24:25] I put that in right away and I was like, whoa.
[24:28] Yeah, it works.
[24:28] It works.
[24:29] It works.
[24:29] It's funny because Caleb, you're saying earlier, like the it's the tiny little scripting lines.
[24:35] It's two or three sentences.
[24:36] And so, like, I think many people do not fully appreciate the value of like the money models book because like you just ran the manuscript and it was like, oh, shit, this prints.
[24:47] It's not just how you sell, it's when you sell.
[24:49] Okay, delivery.
[24:51] So build an AI dashboard so the team works outside the messaging platform.
[24:54] Absolutely.
[24:55] So I got that done.
[24:56] I'm out of Telegram completely.
[24:58] Because inspired by what you told me to do, I ended up building nine other tools for my business.
[25:03] And it's... Ripping?
[25:06] Changing everything.
[25:07] The last one we had was to get more traffic.
[25:09] So we wanted to capture and distribute the Q&A for your content library.
[25:12] So where are you at with that one?
[25:13] So we're currently publishing 60 pieces of new content.
[25:17] Okay, so it's a little below the target we had, but you're getting something.
[25:20] A little bit below, but it was the best that we had in terms of that those were what we could draw out.
[25:25] What do you think of all the things we said worked the best?
[25:28] I mean, I think for me, like the biggest piece was just, I think, shifting my mindset.
[25:33] Because like what I was afraid of coming in was really, I didn't want to be misunderstood that I'm in this for the money.
[25:39] Like that's what, you know.
[25:40] And so I think whatever you coached me with on the call of like, Tina, more money you make means more impact.
[25:48] And you getting out.
[25:50] And what?
[25:51] He did that to me 10 years ago.
[25:53] Yeah.
[25:54] I was like, I just want to help people.
[25:55] I was like, can we help people and get really rich?
[25:58] So what was unexpected in all of this?
[26:00] I just feel like I collapsed time.
[26:01] I don't think this would have happened if I was on my own, like outside of this whole process.
[26:07] I've done what I didn't think I could.
[26:09] Good job.
[26:10] I'm really proud of myself.
[26:12] Great job.
[26:13] Thank you.
[26:16] All right, Hasi, before we dive in, I wanna say that you had a lot of stuff that I told you to do, which in some ways was a, you had a lot.
[26:24] Biggest one off the top was the associate strategy, getting not just one, but multiple associates so we could offload a bunch of visits.
[26:31] How did that go?
[26:32] Yeah, so we hired two associates.
[26:35] Both of them are prior specialists, which have made the transition process much easier.
[26:41] Nice.
[26:41] Where we can essentially tell patients, not lying to them, that these people- Which is key.
[26:47] Yeah, on paper, these guys are technically more qualified than my dad is, technically.
[26:54] And it makes the off-boarding process for the patient trusting so much easier.
[27:00] On the contrary, since our sales cycle is so long, we haven't really reaped the benefits of that just yet because an implant takes about a year to get done.
[27:11] That's why.
[27:12] So the first two visits.
[27:13] You've collected cash.
[27:14] We have collected the cash.
[27:16] That's the thing.
[27:17] And that was one of the things, though.
[27:18] We changed that, didn't we?
[27:19] Yes.
[27:19] Yeah, we did change that.
[27:20] Yes.
[27:20] So material improvement, I would say.
[27:22] Material improvement, 2.5 to 1 to 111 to 1.
[27:25] Yeah.
[27:27] Nothing sounds like proof, man.
[27:28] Yeah.
[27:29] So good.
[27:29] So, and honestly, I think what it was is just a lot of limiting beliefs.
[27:34] Of course.
[27:34] That's the game.
[27:35] Telling my dad, you know what?
[27:36] We can collect up front.
[27:37] He's like, no one's going to say yes to that.
[27:39] We've always done it this way.
[27:40] I'm like, do I have permission?
[27:42] You can also just say, we've always done it this way.
[27:44] And when you do the change.
[27:45] Exactly.
[27:45] Exactly.
[27:46] and always being the last week.
[27:48] Google Ads.
[27:49] So where are you at with that one?
[27:51] So Google Ads, we're actually still at 12,000.
[27:54] We haven't had to increase to 24,000 yet.
[27:57] We're still at capacity.
[27:58] Sales process.
[28:01] So the VSL?
[28:02] Yes.
[28:02] I think when we spoke, you hadn't done that one yet?
[28:04] No VSLs.
[28:05] Okay.
[28:05] No VSLs.
[28:06] I have videos on the website, but just for every single service, but no VSL made.
[28:11] Just think about it as an insurance policy for the $41,000.
[28:13] That's all this is.
[28:15] Yeah.
[28:15] Right.
[28:15] And so would you make a video to guarantee that you collect $41,000?
[28:19] no questions asked or just cut the doctor's time in half too because like what happens is you take you know three conversations to two or two conversation to one or an hour turns into 30 yeah um and close rates go up so it's like your sales efficiency goes up and your close rate go up which then once you do those two things you know what happens yeah thousands and thousands of businesses like i've never seen it not
[28:39] I can't think of a time I hasn't... You cannot educate a customer more and have them be less likely to buy.
[28:45] Yeah.
[28:46] Unless you have a terrible product, in which case they find out, then that's not the...
[28:49] The organic content machine.
[28:51] Organic content.
[28:52] So I have re-watched your clip.
[28:56] You were talking of like, Sharon was like, you know what?
[28:59] I'm posting once a day and I'm not scaling.
[29:02] And Alex was like, huh?
[29:03] I'm posting 700 times a week.
[29:06] So I was like, you know what?
[29:07] We're doing other shit.
[29:08] What the fuck?
[29:09] Someone has to run the business.
[29:10] We're fucking running shit.
[29:12] Damn.
[29:15] I kind of took some inspiration from Alex and I'm posting a hundred times a day across all platforms, two accounts.
[29:22] Hello.
[29:23] Yeah.
[29:23] What about the before and after stuff?
[29:24] So before and after we're taking before photos.
[29:27] We haven't reached after just yet for a lot of stuff.
[29:31] That's good.
[29:31] Yeah.
[29:32] Okay.
[29:34] You can go on back.
[29:34] Thank you.
[29:36] So we have two eliminations this round.
[29:39] We will start with one person who is safe.
[29:44] How about that?
[29:44] Okay.
[29:46] And the last round was about revenue growth, right?
[29:50] And so everyone here, you grew a lot, and so that's why you're at this stage.
[29:54] The next one, this round, is about adherence.
[29:58] And the main reason for that is because you could hypothetically just do a bunch of stuff, random, you know, sell a bunch of discounted stuff to try and drive up revenue to get to this round.
[30:08] But in terms of building the long-term thing, one of the things we have really commonly here is that,
[30:13] The fastest way to build a $10 million business isn't the fastest way to build a $100 million business.
[30:17] And so it's just as important to build it fast as it is to build it right.
[30:21] And so that's why the adherence phase is so important for us, especially as we think about working with you guys long-term.
[30:31] Yeah.
[30:32] And so from a purely adherence perspective, the first person who is safe for this round is Tina.
[30:41] All right, Tina.
[30:44] All right.
[30:45] That's nice.
[30:47] Then there were three.
[30:48] Okay.
[30:49] So this one's tough because a lot of you guys did implement portions of it, and all of you guys did really well.
[30:58] And so the first elimination is Caleb.
[31:07] Yeah.
[31:08] Awesome.
[31:08] Please grab a seat and just know that it has nothing to do with our voting for you in terms of your success long term.
[31:15] I'm very confident that you're going to succeed.
[31:16] Is it possible to say something to you that I wanted to say the first time?
[31:21] When I first found your content, man, like I was working at a region's bank.
[31:25] And I absolutely hated that job.
[31:27] Hated where I was at, all of that.
[31:29] When I came across your content, it has dramatically changed my life in so many different ways.
[31:34] And I appreciate you for that.
[31:35] And what I want you all to know is that what you do is super important.
[31:40] It's so important.
[31:41] Even me getting like the scroll and whatnot, it's like a message in a bottle to the next generation.
[31:47] I got out of a bad relationship I didn't like.
[31:49] I followed so much of your advice.
[31:50] I was like, fuck, man, let me try Bumble.
[31:53] That's where I met my wife.
[31:56] And so it was like God put like a shining light on her.
[31:59] It's like, this is your person right here.
[32:01] And so that level of commitment is what I've put into not only my business, but how I run everything.
[32:07] You're already a phenomenal entrepreneur.
[32:09] Thank you.
[32:10] Appreciate it.
[32:14] You know, the thing is, it's like, we have to do this because it's the nature of the fucking show.
[32:20] You have to.
[32:21] But I hate it.
[32:22] I really want you to know.
[32:23] I genuinely hate it.
[32:25] I can tell.
[32:25] I do.
[32:26] Do you want me to do it?
[32:27] It's so bad.
[32:28] I haven't met with each of you individually.
[32:31] Like I know the stories.
[32:32] I've lost bias.
[32:36] All right.
[32:36] Yeah.
[32:38] All right.
[32:39] Well.
[32:44] Okay.
[32:44] So in terms of who is advancing to the next round.
[32:50] That will be Joey.
[32:58] And dude, I just want to say, like, you've done some really hard shit with your dad, the practice.
[33:01] Thank you.
[33:02] A lot of times people come in here, they're like, it's my parent.
[33:05] And we're like, oh, fuck.
[33:06] Like, the fact, yeah.
[33:07] Like, it's just like, oh, shit.
[33:08] Well, this is going to suck.
[33:09] Thank you.
[33:09] And like, really impressive.
[33:11] Thank you.
[33:11] Like, you had a lot of things to do, which is why from a pure, like, from a numbers perspective of things that you were able to get done, you had a slightly lower number.
[33:21] But like, one of those items was go get two dental associates, which is...
[33:25] a pretty monster single bullet.
[33:27] And so just, if I had a honorable mention in terms of like hard, like you did a lot and kill, you did a shitload too.
[33:34] Thanks, sir.
[33:35] Thank you.
[33:35] I also would say that, um, it's hard enough to break beliefs for yourself, but doing that for your parent is even harder.
[33:44] Yeah.
[33:44] Your immigrant father.
[33:47] Yeah.
[33:48] I get it.
[33:48] We get it.
[33:49] I get it.
[33:51] We have actually, you don't have an immigrant father.
[33:54] Father's still in India.
[33:55] Yeah.
[33:56] Still there.
[33:59] Technically, it's just us.
[34:02] But no, Hussey, congrats either way.
[34:04] I mean, you still monstrously improved the business.
[34:06] Thank you.
[34:11] Okay, so we've gone from eight to four to two.
[34:16] 90 days ago, you guys came out here at, you know, one-ish million and a little less than a million.
[34:22] And you've both added almost over a million.
[34:25] You voted almost two to the business in 90 days, which is crazy.
[34:28] But just to remind the audience back home and you guys what this is all about.
[34:33] My green men.
[34:39] So, uh...
[34:40] By the end of today, one of you guys will walk out with $100,000 and a golden ticket to work with me and the team for the next year to continue to scale.
[34:48] And so that is what this round is all about.
[34:51] The challenge for this round is different.
[34:53] So the first round was about qualifying just based on growth.
[34:55] That makes sense.
[34:57] The next round was about adherence because we want to make sure that you're building the right type of business so that if we're just giving you things going forward, it's not just chance.
[35:03] It's like you guys are actually going to do it, right?
[35:06] The third is one that I think is the most central skill of being an entrepreneur, which is sales.
[35:12] Because you have to sell investors, you have to sell employees, you have to sell customers, you have to sell in your marketing.
[35:19] The game of entrepreneurship of selling never really ends.
[35:22] And so this one is a straight head-to-head sale.
[35:28] So you guys will both pitch us on why we should pick your business specifically
[35:35] Excited?
[35:36] Yes.
[35:37] All right.
[35:38] So, Tina.
[35:40] I'm going first.
[35:41] You're going first.
[35:43] Ready?
[35:44] Okay.
[35:44] Well, first, outside of you, I'm the hardest worker you're going to meet.
[35:49] And you should pick me because I'm the total package.
[35:53] Not only am I exceptional at delivering client results, like I have just so many freaking testimonials.
[36:00] I'm also very experienced in marketing and sales.
[36:04] but also all aspects of the business from being in business for 16 years, working for myself, starting from when my son was a baby, working between the hours of 8 p.m. and two o'clock in the morning.
[36:16] So bootstrap from the ground up.
[36:19] And I have a track record.
[36:22] Before this, I still have that business where I've made over $20 million in a business that I grew from nothing.
[36:30] So, sorry.
[36:32] You're good.
[36:34] I'm just like... What was the 20 million from?
[36:38] What was the business?
[36:39] It's changing.
[36:40] My lives are changed from being here, but sorry.
[36:44] And it's a unique business as well that people don't think is serious, you know, like stickers.
[36:50] I teach people how to coupon and save money online.
[36:56] That was the old business?
[36:56] That was the old business.
[36:57] I made $20 million in commissions.
[37:00] So that is business acumen you cannot replace.
[37:05] Um, ah, I got this.
[37:09] I went out last night.
[37:10] Okay.
[37:12] I did this this morning.
[37:13] You're good.
[37:14] Bye.
[37:16] And I would be successful in any business, any business, because I have the raw ingredients and the experience.
[37:25] But I'm choosing this business because it is so much more than just a business.
[37:31] This is literally changing lives.
[37:34] The rate of autism is going up at a gross amount.
[37:39] And you know what happens when you get a diagnosis today?
[37:43] You're handed essentially a life sentence.
[37:45] They tell you there's nothing you can do.
[37:48] And that's what families are handed with now.
[37:50] And so that's why I'm doing this work.
[37:52] Like this is so much more than just like a business that you invest in.
[37:56] And this has like, thank you.
[38:01] What do you think
[38:03] the hardest part of kind of the next few years look like if you had to be down this path and see the growth what do you think that what do you think the gap of the challenge looks like
[38:17] The gap to the challenge, I think, is removing myself and my sense of control.
[38:21] Because I want just so bad for people to get results.
[38:24] And I just take it personally when people don't.
[38:28] Or when, you know, like, people aren't happy for whatever reason.
[38:32] Because not everyone is a perfect client.
[38:33] So it's really just the, it's personal growth for myself.
[38:37] Of, you know, my capacity to be able to handle that.
[38:40] All right.
[38:41] Thank you, Tina.
[38:42] Thank you.
[38:44] Sir Joey.
[38:46] Thank you.
[38:47] First of all, I want to say like, anybody here is incredibly deserving, but if I have to stand on a mountain of hubris for just a moment, first and foremost, I will, I, so, I did not go out last night because this is my entire world, not to cast shade, but I repped this rhythm like over and over and over again, but I'm gonna toss it out.
[39:07] So I want to give you four different buckets of the reason why I think I'm the right investment.
[39:12] And the first one is quantitative.
[39:15] You encouraged me to pursue an acquisition channel that I had no experience in pursuing, and I immediately put 15 grand in it and made $670,000 as a result of that.
[39:24] So the proof is there.
[39:26] Qualitative.
[39:28] You mentioned adherence.
[39:29] I did every single thing on that list.
[39:31] That brings me to my third bucket, which is heart.
[39:38] I pour my heart and soul into this company every single day.
[39:45] I left a six-figure career after my mom passed away to take over this company.
[39:51] My dad and I had a conversation at the table.
[39:53] We had someone who wanted to acquire it.
[39:55] And at the time, it was doing, you know, 100 grand and 150 grand in revenue.
[39:58] So, like, who's going to acquire, you know, 100?
[40:01] So, it was almost like an insult offer to be like, you know, we hear about this thing.
[40:05] Like, we want to take it off your plate.
[40:06] And I was like, no, like, I'm going to dive all into this.
[40:08] Like...
[40:09] This is mom's company.
[40:10] I'm going all in and I'm going to figure it out.
[40:12] And so 13 years later, through COVID and weathering that storm, I pivoted our entire company from an event planning company to a virtual production studio overnight when COVID happened because we couldn't do live events.
[40:25] But people still needed community.
[40:27] People still fundamentally need community.
[40:29] The fourth bucket is legacy.
[40:31] In the same way that my mom passed the baton to me,
[40:34] I want to be able to pass the baton to my little girl Sage and her little brother.
[40:39] Win or lose, I feel like I've already won.
[40:41] And I just, I appreciate you guys.
[40:44] Thank you.
[40:45] You mentioned wanting to kind of buy your time back again soon.
[40:49] Which is probably the only concern that I have.
[40:51] Because you always want to buy your time back to do something that has higher leverage in the business.
[40:56] And I say this as somebody knowing that I'm going to go into a season where I'm not going to have as much time and I'm not going to be winning like I was once before.
[41:03] And I'm OK with that.
[41:04] My first thought was like, how many hours a day do you guys work?
[41:07] What is too much?
[41:07] What is the right split?
[41:08] Like, what does that look like?
[41:10] Yeah, that's fair.
[41:11] I appreciate that.
[41:12] Yeah, we've made a couple investments where people have said like, hey, you know, we have to have.
[41:16] And it's unfortunately like those investments just kind of pitter patter.
[41:21] Yeah.
[41:22] So buying my time back for me is not about it's not about like sidestepping the business.
[41:27] It's more about like, hey, can we have someone go do groceries for us so we don't have to do that so we can focus on higher leverage activities?
[41:33] That's what I meant when I say buying my time back is more of like, what can we eliminate from our daily tasks that we're doing that cost us two hours a day and pay someone to do it so that we can focus on higher leverage things?
[41:44] So I think, you know, I think about buying my time back on the personal side so that I can focus on the things that are really filling my cup on the professional side as well.
[41:51] 100 percent.
[41:52] Thanks for explaining.
[41:54] How big do you want this to be in 12 months?
[41:57] 10 million sounds like a great number, but the goal for me has been, I wanna get the company to a million in EBITDA.
[42:03] And I genuinely, like, that was a six year, five to six year goal for me.
[42:06] I think I could do that now in 12 months.
[42:09] A million EBITDA in 12 months would be a wonderful goal.
[42:12] And then from there, it's like, let's figure out what's next.
[42:16] We're gonna talk amongst ourselves for a few minutes and then we'll do the final round.
[42:33] Okay, so before we tell you the verdicts, each of us want to give you kind of pros and cons on how we were thinking through the decision.
[42:40] And then after each of us gives our pro and con for each of you, we will then cast our vote.
[42:46] I think both of you have something really special.
[42:48] You have this big why in your families as to why you wanted to do this thing.
[42:53] And Tina, you figured out how to actually do the hardest thing ever to convert a passion to a business.
[43:02] Joey, as I sit here as we're making an investment in your business, the one thing that I think long and hard about is the business itself.
[43:12] Where is the business opportunity and where is the scalability of that opportunity?
[43:16] And that's a con for me.
[43:20] And so if I combine those two things, my vote for this round is going to be Tina.
[43:30] I think you're both really enthusiastic and industrious, which I think are two things that are really vital to being a great entrepreneur.
[43:36] So kudos to both of you because that's two of the biggest pieces.
[43:40] So I think that's really important.
[43:42] Joey, I think you're very steady and calculated.
[43:46] which I appreciate.
[43:47] I think that that's needed, especially as a company gets bigger and you wanna scale.
[43:50] And to prepare like you did, it's clear that there's a lot of intention.
[43:54] I think that says a lot, because I always say, watch what they do, not what they say.
[43:58] And so I'm watching for what you guys are doing rather than what you're saying to me.
[44:02] So that stood out.
[44:03] In terms of con,
[44:06] I think the business opportunity itself is, dare I say, mid compared to some other opportunities that we've invested in.
[44:14] So I think that in order to maximize on an opportunity like that and make the investment worthwhile, it's going to be violent execution.
[44:25] Tina, I think you are incredibly coachable.
[44:29] And I really respect that.
[44:31] But to be honest, the con was hearing you went out last night and did all this this morning.
[44:37] I can't think of a time I would have done that with an opportunity this important.
[44:40] So that was jarring to me.
[44:41] So that was a con.
[44:44] So because of that, my pick for this round is Joey.
[44:52] All right.
[44:54] All right, so then I'm the deciding vote.
[44:57] Pluses, Tina.
[45:01] One of the things that we talked about 90 days ago was that I wanted to make sure that you were technically proficient and that you could pull off a lot of these things.
[45:07] And I think the history that you have with the affiliate marketing has carried over into this business.
[45:14] And so the fact that you are technically proficient created a lot of tools very quickly.
[45:19] The business is already online, so we don't have to worry about physical locations.
[45:23] I think you have dramatically improved your client delivery ratio so that we could really scale this.
[45:28] And so for me,
[45:30] The technical proficiency combined with the scalability of the model, I see as a major pro.
[45:36] From the cons perspective, I'll say less about the fact that he went out last night or whatever.
[45:43] I would say that the judgment of telling us was the bigger mistake.
[45:47] The other part that I would say is a con is that I think that the pitch could have been significantly more structured.
[45:53] um, than it was.
[45:55] Um, I think you kind of were trying to find your way as you were, as you were going through it.
[45:59] Um, and this is definitely the time where you want to, you want to nail it.
[46:04] Joey.
[46:05] Um,
[46:08] Pros.
[46:10] LTV to CAC, really, really strong.
[46:12] I mean, probably some of the strongest that we have in the room.
[46:15] I also really like the fact that the business is reoccurring in nature.
[46:18] So the fact that we already have 4 million books for next year and we can consistently demonstrate like year over year we'll be able to continue to stack this business.
[46:27] Yeah.
[46:28] which I see as a really, really big pro.
[46:32] Also kind of weathering the COVID storm, specifically for your business.
[46:36] Obviously we're in the gym industry.
[46:37] And so I would say I have a special appreciation for people who didn't jump ship during those periods of time and you stuck through it.
[46:42] And so like, if you stuck with the business when you weren't legally allowed to do the business, which I see as a pretty good litmus test of how committed you are, I see that as a major pro.
[46:52] Cons.
[46:54] The business, it doesn't cash flow as much as I would like.
[46:58] It is lower margin that I would prefer from the styles of business that I like to invest in.
[47:04] So one of the things I found interesting that both of you missed in your pitches was that neither of you talked about what I might want.
[47:12] as an investor.
[47:13] And so whenever I'm selling anything, I always have to start with, what is the reverse engineer from the prospect?
[47:18] And so an investor is gonna want something that's gonna be fast growing, highly profitable, defensible.
[47:23] And I didn't hear anything about that.
[47:27] And so I think that was probably the biggest miss that both of you guys had in your pitches to us.
[47:32] And so my vote goes to
[47:36] Real quick, before I reveal the winner, the average increase in revenue of all these contestants was 2.4X in 90 days.
[47:42] So almost two and a half times.
[47:44] And in absolute terms, they added over a million dollars in revenue and over $500,000 in profit in 90 days.
[47:50] And a large reason they were able to do that is because they had a very clear plan based on where they were at right now.
[47:55] And so I would like to give you one of my most prized possessions as a gift,
[47:59] which is the scaling roadmap.
[48:01] These guys followed the same plans, which I highlighted in each of their individual episodes, showing exactly where they're at and what they needed to do.
[48:07] And I'd like to give it to you absolutely free.
[48:09] So click the link, you can grab it, and maybe in the next 90 days, you can do the same thing too.
[48:13] Of course, not a promise.
[48:14] Your results will vary, obviously.
[48:16] Back to the show.
[48:19] So.
[48:23] My vote goes to.
[48:26] Go ahead.
[48:33] Do you remember you said 90 days ago I get to kiss you?
[48:35] Oh, don't.
[48:37] Do not do that.
[48:38] And so with this, Joey, congratulations.
[48:42] You have the $100,000 investment, and we'll be working together for the next year on scaling your business.
[48:47] And you are the winner.
[48:49] Congrats, man.
[48:53] I think the larger message that I would love for the entrepreneurs who are watching this, what you guys all showed in 90 days is that you can have absolutely violent commitment to a plan and achieve years worth of results in 90 days.
[49:05] And so it doesn't matter how bad your current situation is, you can change your stars in a very short period of time.
[49:12] And so thank you guys for watching.
[49:14] And you can hit below if you want to join the next round.
[49:16] And we'll see you in the next Scalar Fail.
