[0:00] Speaker 1: All right, we're doing it. A brand new episode today.
[0:02] Speaker 1: Welcome to it. It is your official second day podcast
[0:05] Speaker 1: with Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Thanks for finding us.
[0:07] Speaker 1: And we got some fun on the way. Yeah. What
[0:09] Speaker 1: do you want to start with? A comment?
[0:11] Speaker 2: I'm going to start with two comments, Brooke.
[0:12] Speaker 1: Oh, actually.
[0:13] Speaker 3: Own the room, Alexis.
[0:14] Speaker 1: I love it.
[0:15] Speaker 3: Because they are from our.
[0:17] Speaker 1: Pet food reviews yesterday that we posted. Oh, my gosh.
[0:20] Speaker 4: Yes.
[0:20] Speaker 1: If you haven't seen our YouTube, it's at Brooke and Jeffrey.
[0:23] Speaker 5: And.
[0:24] Speaker 1: Go see it. It was a dare challenge that we
[0:26] Speaker 1: just couldn't turn down.
[0:28] Speaker 3: Which is not fair, by the way.
[0:29] Speaker 1: I didn't actually ever bring that up. They didn't bring
[0:32] Speaker 1: us water at first. Who does that?
[0:35] Speaker 3: Anyways. Okay.
[0:36] Speaker 2: Darcy first said, as a pet care professional in Denver,
[0:39] Speaker 2: I'm always listening to your show on my dog.
[0:41] Speaker 1: Walks, but the pet food review had me literally crying. Oh, yeah.
[0:46] Speaker 2: Then I got Erica who said, I ran to the
[0:49] Speaker 2: YouTube video of this as soon as Jeff said what
[0:52] Speaker 2: it was. I finished it five minutes ago and I'm
[0:54] Speaker 2: still retching thanks to Jeff's full face in the bowl thing.
[0:58] Speaker 6: Awful.
[0:58] Speaker 3: I have not been able to watch the video. I
[1:00] Speaker 3: tried to watch it back. I thought about this and
[1:03] Speaker 3: I gagged still. Just thinking about the image of that
[1:06] Speaker 3: crap in his bowl.
[1:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't been able to make eye contact with Jeff.
[1:10] Speaker 1: All right, let's get to it. A brand new second
[1:13] Speaker 1: date update starts right now.
[1:14] Speaker 7: Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.
[1:16] Speaker 1: Second date update.
[1:18] Speaker 4: You only get one chance at a first impression.
[1:21] Speaker 3: And that's the truth.
[1:23] Speaker 4: That's why I always wear tearaway pants wherever I go.
[1:27] Speaker 4: Because you just never know when you're going to need
[1:29] Speaker 4: to impress somebody.
[1:30] Speaker 1: That's a good point, Jeff.
[1:31] Speaker 4: And one of our listeners emailed the show because she
[1:34] Speaker 4: says she's a little remorseful about the first impression that
[1:37] Speaker 4: she made when she met a guy. And she wants
[1:40] Speaker 4: to get our help with it.
[1:42] Speaker 1: You had regular pants on, didn't you, that are hard
[1:44] Speaker 1: to get off?
[1:44] Speaker 4: That was the issue. Beth, welcome to the show.
[1:48] Speaker 7: Hi.
[1:49] Speaker 4: You don't normally get radio shows asking you about what
[1:52] Speaker 4: kind of pants you're wearing?
[1:54] Speaker 5: No.
[1:57] Speaker 3: We're a different kind of morning show.
[1:58] Speaker 4: Okay, well, yeah, we are kind of weird that way.
[2:01] Speaker 4: And I don't know if pants did or didn't come
[2:03] Speaker 4: into the equation here, but why don't you tell us
[2:04] Speaker 4: about this guy that you met?
[2:06] Speaker 7: Yeah, not pants. A hat, actually.
[2:09] Speaker 4: Oh, Taraway hat. I don't even know what that looks like.
[2:13] Speaker 1: Oh, maybe she pulled the old elementary school move where
[2:15] Speaker 1: she steals his hat.
[2:16] Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
[2:17] Speaker 1: Guys love that.
[2:18] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[2:19] Speaker 4: So, yeah, tell us about it.
[2:20] Speaker 6: So, a couple weeks ago, I was at the bar
[2:24] Speaker 6: with some of my friends, and I had just had
[2:26] Speaker 6: a weird week at work.
[2:28] Speaker 7: I was not feeling it. I was not in a
[2:31] Speaker 7: good mood.
[2:31] Speaker 6: Okay. And this guy came up to me. He was nice.
[2:35] Speaker 7: I just wasn't in the mood to be hit on
[2:37] Speaker 7: that night.
[2:38] Speaker 4: Sometimes that does happen.
[2:40] Speaker 7: Yeah. And this is the hat. He was wearing a
[2:44] Speaker 7: cowboy hat. And I was like, why are you wearing that?
[2:47] Speaker 7: You're not a cowboy.
[2:49] Speaker 6: Oh.
[2:49] Speaker 4: Oh.
[2:50] Speaker 1: You were really kind of mean.
[2:52] Speaker 3: Some people like that.
[2:54] Speaker 4: That was the stress from her work that was being
[2:57] Speaker 4: mean to him, not her.
[2:59] Speaker 1: I see. And how did you know he wasn't a cowboy?
[3:02] Speaker 7: Oh, come on. He was like, I saw it for
[3:07] Speaker 7: $ 2 at a thrift store. I just bought it on
[3:09] Speaker 7: a whim. He's still being really nice.
[3:12] Speaker 1: He's like, you're right.
[3:13] Speaker 4: It is stupid, and that's kind of why I'm doing it,
[3:18] Speaker 4: because I'm a stupid guy.
[3:22] Speaker 6: We started talking about thrift stores, and I told him
[3:25] Speaker 6: that I love going to find deals.
[3:27] Speaker 7: He said, you're.
[3:32] Speaker 1: Oh, that is kind of nice.
[3:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, girls love that combo.
[3:35] Speaker 1: Are you turning at this point? Like, are you becoming
[3:38] Speaker 1: a little more unfrozen towards him?
[3:39] Speaker 6: No. Oh.
[3:41] Speaker 7: I just wanted to hang with my girls.
[3:45] Speaker 4: But you weren't saying, like, no, don't talk to me.
[3:47] Speaker 4: You were still entertaining his conversation, just not being as
[3:51] Speaker 4: flirty back.
[3:52] Speaker 3: Not at all.
[3:52] Speaker 7: I was polite. I was polite.
[3:54] Speaker 6: And eventually he just asked me if I was free
[3:57] Speaker 6: that Saturday.
[3:58] Speaker 1: He just kept going.
[3:59] Speaker 2: Really not getting the hints there, buddy.
[4:02] Speaker 7: No, I mean, again, I wasn't being mean. Like I
[4:04] Speaker 7: just was not, you know, I was turned off.
[4:06] Speaker 1: What did you say to the Saturday offer?
[4:08] Speaker 6: So I like kind of panicked in the moment and
[4:11] Speaker 6: I lied because I told him, I said, I'm sorry,
[4:14] Speaker 6: I have a boyfriend.
[4:15] Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
[4:17] Speaker 1: I mean, that's always the easiest way to get rid
[4:18] Speaker 1: of a guy.
[4:19] Speaker 4: That's the safe one.
[4:19] Speaker 7: It should be.
[4:21] Speaker 3: It should deter the guy.
[4:22] Speaker 7: Yeah, it should be.
[4:23] Speaker 4: Okay.
[4:23] Speaker 7: It should be.
[4:24] Speaker 4: Why do you say that?
[4:24] Speaker 6: So he paused and then he was like, why do
[4:27] Speaker 6: you look so sad when you say that? Oh. Oh.
[4:30] Speaker 1: He's trying to see if there's an opening still.
[4:32] Speaker 6: Is there a crack in this relationship and I can
[4:34] Speaker 6: chisel my way through?
[4:36] Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. The fact that he's still going
[4:38] Speaker 3: is not.
[4:38] Speaker 4: But it is funny. Yeah. If you said it like, oh, sorry.
[4:43] Speaker 4: I have a boyfriend. Like, that kind of is like...
[4:47] Speaker 4: It's a tone.
[4:47] Speaker 5: Thing, I guess you're right.
[4:48] Speaker 6: I don't know.
[4:49] Speaker 7: Either way, it was not the answer that I expected.
[4:51] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[4:51] Speaker 4: What did you say to him?
[4:53] Speaker 7: Again, it was me trying to end it. So I
[4:55] Speaker 7: was like, hey, that's rude.
[4:56] Speaker 6: You don't have to undercut my relationship just because you're butthurt.
[4:59] Speaker 7: I turned you down.
[5:00] Speaker 4: So you're defending your non-existent boyfriend. I like how.
[5:07] Speaker 1: She insisted that she was nice throughout this.
[5:12] Speaker 7: I was not nice here.
[5:13] Speaker 6: Not my proudest moment. I stormed off to the bathroom.
[5:17] Speaker 6: I just needed it to end, you know?
[5:19] Speaker 7: And when I came back, he was gone.
[5:23] Speaker 5: Okay, good.
[5:23] Speaker 3: I'm glad.
[5:25] Speaker 1: Why are you retelling this story? Obviously he was gone.
[5:28] Speaker 1: Finally he was gone.
[5:31] Speaker 4: He's like, I think maybe on the fifth or sixth try,
[5:33] Speaker 4: she's going to break.
[5:34] Speaker 7: And that should have been a fine ending for that.
[5:37] Speaker 7: But all my friends were saying, why did you do that? Like,
[5:40] Speaker 7: this guy was really nice. And of course, it's been
[5:43] Speaker 7: some time now.
[5:44] Speaker 6: And I keep thinking about him.
[5:47] Speaker 7: And I feel like I should have maybe been more
[5:50] Speaker 7: open to it.
[5:51] Speaker 4: It was the cowboy hat, wasn't it?
[5:54] Speaker 1: Cowboy hats are cute. Because where I grew up.
[5:58] Speaker 7: And he was being silly about it. He was sweet.
[6:01] Speaker 7: He was persistent. And this is the weird thing.
[6:03] Speaker 6: One of my friends got his number that night and
[6:05] Speaker 6: they gave it to me and said, you should text him.
[6:08] Speaker 1: Oh, wait, hold on. So he also came on one
[6:12] Speaker 1: of your friends in your friend group?
[6:14] Speaker 7: Like, no one else was, like, trying to swoop in.
[6:16] Speaker 7: I know that.
[6:16] Speaker 1: Okay.
[6:17] Speaker 7: So she just said to tell him you're single. I
[6:19] Speaker 7: just don't know how I do that now.
[6:21] Speaker 4: Oh, right, because now you have to come back and
[6:23] Speaker 4: be like, oh, by the way, that boyfriend that I
[6:25] Speaker 4: told you I had was a lie.
[6:27] Speaker 7: Is not real.
[6:28] Speaker 1: Oh, that would be good news for him.
[6:29] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[6:30] Speaker 4: Hey, I'm a liar, but I swear I'm not normal.
[6:34] Speaker 7: But that's it. That's like actually it.
[6:38] Speaker 3: Tell more lies and say you broke up.
[6:40] Speaker 4: Oh, no, no, no, no. So you've reached out to
[6:47] Speaker 4: us in the hopes that you can finally come clean
[6:50] Speaker 4: and be like, I actually am single. And I think you're,
[6:53] Speaker 4: You were nice that night.
[6:54] Speaker 3: This is a good call.
[6:55] Speaker 6: You know, I never actually tried to reach out at
[6:57] Speaker 6: all yet. It's not like I'm not getting an answer
[7:00] Speaker 6: or anything.
[7:00] Speaker 7: I just feel like it's so weird at this point.
[7:03] Speaker 7: Might as well. Like I have nothing to lose, I guess.
[7:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, you really don't. Cause I mean, you're probably not
[7:09] Speaker 4: even on his radar at this point. You've just rejected him.
[7:13] Speaker 4: He gave his number to your friend. And this is
[7:16] Speaker 4: going to come completely out of the blue when I
[7:18] Speaker 4: tell him, hey, remember that girl that was kind of
[7:22] Speaker 4: mean to you and brushed you off and told you
[7:24] Speaker 4: she had a boyfriend? Well, actually, she doesn't have one
[7:28] Speaker 4: and wants to hang out with you. That won't be weird, right?
[7:31] Speaker 7: I was just having a bad day.
[7:33] Speaker 6: You know, sometimes you're just so burnt, like you just
[7:36] Speaker 6: can't get out of whatever that hole is.
[7:37] Speaker 1: I was there.
[7:38] Speaker 4: Okay. Well, let's tell them that you crawled out of
[7:40] Speaker 4: that hole and you're ready to make yourself available. Come
[7:44] Speaker 4: back and we do your second date update for Cowboy
[7:47] Speaker 4: Hat Guy right after this. Hold on.
[7:49] Speaker 7: Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.
[7:51] Speaker 3: Second date update.
[7:54] Speaker 4: If you missed part one of the second date update,
[7:57] Speaker 4: Lots of recap there, because our listener, Beth, is a
[8:01] Speaker 4: little bit remorseful about how her first meetup went with Eddie.
[8:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely regret.
[8:07] Speaker 4: She was not in the mood to meet a guy
[8:08] Speaker 4: that night, any guy. But then in walks Eddie with
[8:12] Speaker 4: his $ 2 cowboy hat.
[8:13] Speaker 1: He was nice.
[8:15] Speaker 4: He was charming. He was very persistent. But she just
[8:19] Speaker 4: wasn't wanting to meet anybody. So when he asked what
[8:22] Speaker 4: she was doing that weekend, Beth said, sorry, I have
[8:25] Speaker 4: a boyfriend. Yes. To which Eddie responded with, why do
[8:29] Speaker 4: you say that like you're sad?
[8:31] Speaker 1: Eddie, weird question. Beth basically yelled at him and then
[8:36] Speaker 1: stormed out.
[8:36] Speaker 7: Yeah.
[8:37] Speaker 1: So that was a cute ending, huh?
[8:39] Speaker 4: But looking back, Beth says, I probably didn't react the
[8:43] Speaker 4: right way. shouldn't have lied about having a boyfriend.
[8:47] Speaker 1: I don't know why you didn't just tell him, like, look, man,
[8:49] Speaker 1: I'm having a really bad day. I'm not in the
[8:51] Speaker 1: mood to have this type of conversation.
[8:53] Speaker 7: Because listen to him, Brooke, he would have stayed around longer.
[8:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like, you want to talk about it? He
[8:58] Speaker 4: probably would have pulled a blanket out and put it
[9:00] Speaker 4: over your shoulders and hugged you, Beth. No. Blanket move, huh?
[9:04] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[9:04] Speaker 1: That's Jeff's signature.
[9:05] Speaker 4: That's what guys with cowboy hats do.
[9:08] Speaker 1: Is that what you need on a bad day?
[9:09] Speaker 4: I would love that. But that's not how it went,
[9:12] Speaker 4: and now she's looking back, wishing it had gone differently,
[9:15] Speaker 4: and wants to get a hold of him and tell him, actually,
[9:18] Speaker 4: I am single, and I'm sorry that I pushed you
[9:20] Speaker 4: away that night. Yeah.
[9:22] Speaker 3: This is a great phone call.
[9:23] Speaker 1: I'm sorry. She doesn't want to do it. Beth, you
[9:25] Speaker 1: want us to do it, right?
[9:26] Speaker 6: Right, Beth?
[9:27] Speaker 7: Yeah, please.
[9:30] Speaker 4: Well, let's see where his head is at because I'm
[9:31] Speaker 4: going to dial his number right now. Hopefully he picks
[9:34] Speaker 4: up and we can talk to him. You ready to
[9:35] Speaker 4: do this, Beth?
[9:36] Speaker 7: Yes, I just need a mediator.
[9:37] Speaker 6: This is good.
[9:38] Speaker 7: Okay.
[9:39] Speaker 1: Oh, we're the mediator.
[9:40] Speaker 4: Mediator, but free of charge. So keep in mind, you
[9:43] Speaker 4: get what you pay for, Beth.
[9:45] Speaker 6: Great.
[9:45] Speaker 1: Just like that discount cowboy hat.
[9:47] Speaker 4: No promises, but I'm dialing it right now. Here we go.
[9:56] Speaker 7: Hello?
[9:57] Speaker 4: Hey, is this Eddie?
[10:00] Speaker 6: Yeah.
[10:01] Speaker 7: Who's this?
[10:02] Speaker 4: Hey, man. My name is Jeff from a radio show
[10:04] Speaker 4: called Brooke and Jeffrey in the Morning.
[10:06] Speaker 6: Hey, Eddie.
[10:07] Speaker 1: Good morning.
[10:08] Speaker 4: A radio show. You're on right now.
[10:10] Speaker 1: Welcome to our show, Eddie.
[10:14] Speaker 7: I'm sorry, what's going on?
[10:17] Speaker 4: We don't want to barge in on you or anything
[10:18] Speaker 4: like that, but we're doing a segment called.
[10:20] Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm kind of in the middle of work, so
[10:22] Speaker 5: talk to me.
[10:23] Speaker 1: Honestly, this won't take very long.
[10:25] Speaker 4: So we're doing a segment here. It's called a second
[10:27] Speaker 4: date update where we try to.
[10:32] Speaker 4: How do I explain this for Andy?
[10:33] Speaker 1: Well, this one's different because you didn't actually go on
[10:35] Speaker 1: a date with anybody. You just hit on somebody at
[10:37] Speaker 1: a bar.
[10:38] Speaker 3: That's right.
[10:39] Speaker 1: Okay which could be who knows i don't know you
[10:42] Speaker 1: could be a myriad.
[10:43] Speaker 4: Of people probably doesn't narrow it down but i don't
[10:46] Speaker 4: know if you remember a couple weeks ago you went
[10:48] Speaker 4: out and you met a woman named beth oh wow
[10:54] Speaker 4: that was quite annoying yeah wearing.
[10:56] Speaker 1: Your vintage cowboy hat eddie yeah ah yeah cowboy hat.
[11:02] Speaker 4: Night right we're trying to figure out where's your head
[11:05] Speaker 4: what did you think about beth.
[11:08] Speaker 5: Well, this is a very random thing to call me about. Yeah,
[11:13] Speaker 5: we know.
[11:14] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:15] Speaker 5: She was really awesome, except for the boyfriend part.
[11:20] Speaker 7: You know, that was unfortunate.
[11:22] Speaker 4: That was. But you know what? Just for fun. Let's
[11:26] Speaker 4: say that boyfriend was to like magically not exist anymore.
[11:31] Speaker 5: Are you like a hit squad or something?
[11:32] Speaker 7: No, no.
[11:34] Speaker 4: I mean, we don't have that.
[11:35] Speaker 1: Big bucks for that. Obviously gets caught easily if he's
[11:39] Speaker 1: talking about it on the radio.
[11:40] Speaker 4: I'm just saying, let's say the boyfriend is not around anymore.
[11:46] Speaker 4: And let's say she had your phone number and was
[11:50] Speaker 4: kind of interested in getting to know you more deep down.
[11:55] Speaker 5: I mean, I'm not looking to be a rebounder or whatever, but.
[11:58] Speaker 4: Whoa.
[11:59] Speaker 3: I didn't expect that.
[12:02] Speaker 1: Even more good news about that piece.
[12:03] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[12:04] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[12:05] Speaker 4: Let's go into specifics. Like, the boyfriend, decide, what did
[12:07] Speaker 4: you think about Beth as a person? Oh, man.
[12:11] Speaker 5: Like, yummy and wow and.
[12:14] Speaker 4: Yummy.
[12:15] Speaker 7: Like, classy and.
[12:17] Speaker 4: Yummy and classy. Yummy and classy. That's quite the combo.
[12:19] Speaker 1: Yummy is the first word.
[12:20] Speaker 5: I mean, she just, she carried herself really well.
[12:26] Speaker 1: That's a nice compliment.
[12:27] Speaker 7: Like, you could tell that she knew who she was.
[12:29] Speaker 1: Dude, that's awesome.
[12:30] Speaker 7: And, I mean, she's a knockout, so.
[12:32] Speaker 3: That's good.
[12:33] Speaker 1: Okay.
[12:33] Speaker 6: All right.
[12:34] Speaker 1: So, you loved her personality. You loved her. The way
[12:37] Speaker 1: she looked.
[12:38] Speaker 4: Right.
[12:39] Speaker 3: It was just the boyfriend part.
[12:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, I bet you were pretty.
[12:41] Speaker 4: Bummed, right? Yeah, yeah.
[12:42] Speaker 7: And I was like, wow, lucky dude.
[12:44] Speaker 5: And it was kind of funny that when she said it,
[12:47] Speaker 5: she genuinely looked sad.
[12:49] Speaker 7: And I was just like, what?
[12:50] Speaker 4: Okay, you're saying when you said, hey, do you want
[12:53] Speaker 4: to hang out? And she was like, sorry, I have
[12:55] Speaker 4: a boyfriend. You told her, oh, why are you so
[12:57] Speaker 4: sad when you say that, right?
[12:59] Speaker 2: He's like, why do you know my whole story?
[13:02] Speaker 4: Yeah, we heard how it went. So we know it
[13:05] Speaker 4: must have been pretty disappointing. But here's the thing. I
[13:07] Speaker 4: do have some positive news.
[13:09] Speaker 1: I hope you're sitting down, Eddie.
[13:11] Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
[13:12] Speaker 4: There is a chance that she might be on the
[13:16] Speaker 4: phone right now with some interesting news to break to you.
[13:21] Speaker 3: Oh, you're going to make her tell it.
[13:23] Speaker 4: I feel like it's better coming from the source.
[13:26] Speaker 3: That's good.
[13:26] Speaker 4: That's mature.
[13:29] Speaker 6: Wait.
[13:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, because the way this segment works is we have
[13:32] Speaker 4: Beth listening on the other line.
[13:34] Speaker 7: You're not serious, are you?
[13:35] Speaker 4: I am serious. Beth, show him how serious we are.
[13:39] Speaker 6: Oh.
[13:40] Speaker 7: Hi. Hi, Eddie. Hey.
[13:44] Speaker 4: Hi. Hey, Beth.
[13:46] Speaker 7: Yeah, I know this is weird.
[13:49] Speaker 6: You should say that.
[13:53] Speaker 7: There was nothing to lose, and.
[13:56] Speaker 6: I'm sorry, but I just was not in a good
[13:59] Speaker 6: place that night when we met, and I lied.
[14:02] Speaker 7: I do not have a boyfriend.
[14:03] Speaker 2: Good news.
[14:05] Speaker 6: And I was just thinking about that night, and so
[14:09] Speaker 6: this is what I did.
[14:10] Speaker 7: I called the station, and here we are.
[14:13] Speaker 6: Oh, wow. Mm-hmm.
[14:17] Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like you're jumping up and down.
[14:20] Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it's just, it's a little awkward right now.
[14:22] Speaker 6: Why?
[14:24] Speaker 1: Why? She doesn't have a boyfriend. Did you hear?
[14:26] Speaker 3: Should be less awkward.
[14:27] Speaker 7: Okay.
[14:28] Speaker 5: I thought she had a boyfriend. I keep moving on.
[14:31] Speaker 5: I go on dates, et cetera. And like, I've started
[14:35] Speaker 5: kind of seeing someone.
[14:37] Speaker 6: Oh, now he has a boyfriend. So you really, you
[14:43] Speaker 6: met someone in two weeks? No. No.
[14:47] Speaker 7: I didn't.
[14:48] Speaker 4: What?
[14:48] Speaker 7: But do you see how that feels?
[14:50] Speaker 5: What?
[14:51] Speaker 6: Wait. Oh, wait.
[14:51] Speaker 4: You're lying. Oh, now you have a secret fake girlfriend?
[14:56] Speaker 6: I see.
[14:56] Speaker 4: But we can hear her heart.
[14:58] Speaker 6: Yeah. Wow.
[14:59] Speaker 4: Okay.
[14:59] Speaker 7: So that, wow. Real mature. So you just flipped that.
[15:01] Speaker 7: I see what you did. Come on.
[15:03] Speaker 4: Okay. The game playing is already at its highest level
[15:06] Speaker 4: and you two haven't even been out on one date yet.
[15:08] Speaker 1: Usually it is an indication for a green flag.
[15:11] Speaker 6: Okay.
[15:12] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[15:13] Speaker 7: I mean, I'm starting to see another guy too.
[15:15] Speaker 1: What?
[15:15] Speaker 4: What?
[15:16] Speaker 1: Now you have a second fake boyfriend.
[15:17] Speaker 2: You can't have a second fake boyfriend.
[15:19] Speaker 7: I mean, you know, a little competition. I don't mind that.
[15:22] Speaker 3: He has a bigger and cooler cowboy hat than you have.
[15:24] Speaker 4: Yeah, for a better price.
[15:25] Speaker 5: I don't know about that, bro.
[15:27] Speaker 7: I don't know.
[15:29] Speaker 3: It does sound like an awesome hat, bro.
[15:30] Speaker 1: I'm confused. Are you still interested in Beth or not?
[15:34] Speaker 5: I'll burn down a forest to get to her.
[15:36] Speaker 7: If she lets me.
[15:41] Speaker 1: That's arson.
[15:43] Speaker 4: Is starting a wildfire romantic now for you though for love.
[15:49] Speaker 5: I mean i you know all my cards are out
[15:51] Speaker 5: on the table you heard them before i knew you
[15:55] Speaker 5: were listening right so you know how.
[15:58] Speaker 7: I how i feel what i think Okay.
[16:02] Speaker 1: Okay, that's a positive. Take it, Beth.
[16:04] Speaker 4: There is this flirtatious, playful vibe that's happening between the
[16:08] Speaker 4: two of you, which is actually a positive thing compared
[16:12] Speaker 4: to how it ended just a couple weeks ago at
[16:14] Speaker 4: the bar.
[16:14] Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm sorry. I was just not in a good
[16:18] Speaker 6: mood that night. I know I didn't say it.
[16:20] Speaker 7: I could have said it. I just panicked. I said
[16:22] Speaker 7: I had a boyfriend. I just wanted the conversation to
[16:23] Speaker 7: end because it was a bad week, and you were great.
[16:26] Speaker 7: I made a mistake, and I went through all of
[16:28] Speaker 7: this just to try and make it up to you.
[16:30] Speaker 5: Beth, next time you can just tell me you don't
[16:32] Speaker 5: want to talk.
[16:33] Speaker 7: It's okay.
[16:34] Speaker 2: Hopefully there's not next time.
[16:37] Speaker 1: If they start a relationship, of course, there'll be a
[16:39] Speaker 1: next time.
[16:39] Speaker 4: Like, it's okay.
[16:43] Speaker 5: You don't have to come up with something for me.
[16:45] Speaker 7: I will listen to you. It's okay. So there's a
[16:47] Speaker 7: next time.
[16:48] Speaker 5: If she's down.
[16:50] Speaker 3: Okay. That's cute.
[16:53] Speaker 1: Put that cowboy hat on, sir.
[16:55] Speaker 3: Let's go.
[16:57] Speaker 4: It was romantic before Brooke said that. But now it's
[16:59] Speaker 4: my cue to come in and offer to send the
[17:01] Speaker 4: two of you out on another date. And we would
[17:04] Speaker 4: offer to pay for it, Eddie, if you said yes.
[17:07] Speaker 5: I can afford my own dates, but I appreciate the gesture.
[17:09] Speaker 5: Why not?
[17:10] Speaker 4: All right. He's kind of calling us poor.
[17:13] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[17:15] Speaker 4: That's great.
[17:16] Speaker 3: I'd like to take her somewhere better than Cracker Barrel.
[17:18] Speaker 4: Thank you, guys.
[17:20] Speaker 5: Are you guys coming along for the date? No.
[17:24] Speaker 6: Hold on.
[17:24] Speaker 4: You're into that sort of stuff?
[17:27] Speaker 6: No.
[17:28] Speaker 4: Okay. I don't think we'll be available, but we'll send
[17:30] Speaker 4: the two of you out wherever you want to go,
[17:32] Speaker 4: and it'll be on us. Beth, does that sound good?
[17:34] Speaker 7: Yeah, we need a redo.
[17:35] Speaker 3: All you guys do, clean slate. This is cute.
[17:40] Speaker 4: Honestly, this is one of our rare good news ends
[17:43] Speaker 4: to this segment.
[17:44] Speaker 1: It was really adorable.

[18:01] Speaker 4: are you going to come with us on the date?
[18:04] Speaker 4: We really need to be prepared to say yes more
[18:07] Speaker 4: often because I think that might actually be fun.
[18:09] Speaker 1: I don't think he wanted it. I'm just telling you,
[18:12] Speaker 1: I think he was just concerned.
[18:15] Speaker 4: There was hope in his voice when he asked, I
[18:17] Speaker 4: think for sure.
[18:18] Speaker 1: You guys stay on that train.
[18:19] Speaker 4: If it happens in the future, I think we should

[18:26] Speaker 1: I hope we get one from them.

[18:30] Speaker 4: they'll reach out to us and tell us what's happened
[18:33] Speaker 4: since we last spoke to them.
[18:34] Speaker 1: Hopefully it's something cute and romantic because that's what I
[18:36] Speaker 1: want it to be.
