[0:34] Speaker 3: catch and run.
[0:35] Speaker 4: Brought to you by the Emerald Queen Casino. Always entertaining.
[0:38] Speaker 4: the ball free, picked up by Nolosu.

[0:59] Speaker 3: Cowboys have it first down and 10. They're at the
[1:03] Speaker 3: 16-yard line of Philadelphia. Shotgun snap to Prescott. Winds up.
[1:06] Speaker 3: Arching pass. End zone.
[1:07] Speaker 4: Caught over the shoulder.
[1:08] Speaker 3: Touchdown in the corner.
[1:09] Speaker 4: Lamb!
[1:12] Speaker 3: His second of the night.
[1:14] Speaker 5: A 16-yard perfectly thrown pass by Jack Prescott. And the
[1:20] Speaker 5: Cowboys in the game's sixth lead change. Go up 26
[1:26] Speaker 5: to 21.
[1:26] Speaker 4: Ah, hell of a call. Heck of a call.
[1:29] Speaker 6: Heck of a call there by our friend Kevin Harlan
[1:31] Speaker 6: with the NFL on Westwood 1 on Monday night for
[1:34] Speaker 6: the Bears game.
[1:35] Speaker 4: I wonder if Kevin Harlan ever hears a call of
[1:38] Speaker 4: his and goes, you know what? I am so good. God,
[1:41] Speaker 4: am I good.
[1:42] Speaker 6: Just look in the mirror and see that face smiling
[1:45] Speaker 6: back at you and go, man, you are good at
[1:48] Speaker 6: what you do. Kevin, you ever think that, that you
[1:50] Speaker 6: are just really right?
[1:52] Speaker 3: No, I actually don't. I actually don't. You know, I've
[1:55] Speaker 3: got a sequence of things on every play. Like on
[1:59] Speaker 3: that play you just played right there, I wish I'd
[2:01] Speaker 3: have mentioned the rush. I usually do. For whatever reason,
[2:04] Speaker 3: I didn't, you know, and I don't even know what
[2:06] Speaker 3: kind of rush it was. It must not have been
[2:07] Speaker 3: very significant or I think I would have probably said something. No,
[2:12] Speaker 3: I think it's a very imperfect and perfect business. Trying
[2:17] Speaker 3: to be perfect is always the challenge like you and
[2:20] Speaker 3: like me and everybody else in this business. We try
[2:23] Speaker 3: to do, you know, the best work possible, but I, I,
[2:27] Speaker 3: I listen to every broadcast and I cringe. I go,
[2:29] Speaker 3: why didn't I say this? Or why didn't I use that?
[2:31] Speaker 3: Or why did I say that?
[2:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[2:33] Speaker 3: No, I do. I do.
[2:34] Speaker 6: All of it.
[2:35] Speaker 3: All of it. All of it.
[2:36] Speaker 4: Well, I got to be honest with you. I was
[2:38] Speaker 4: just being nice.
[2:39] Speaker 3: I'm with you.
[2:39] Speaker 4: I thought that was just a mediocre.
[2:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, good. Thank you. Well, honesty is with you and
[2:43] Speaker 3: me is the only thing that really links us.
[2:45] Speaker 6: Well, you're going to be here on Monday again for
[2:48] Speaker 6: the Monday night game with the Bears. And I know
[2:50] Speaker 6: you got a couple games. You got some NBA stuff.
[2:53] Speaker 6: You got, what, Cleveland-Pittsburgh. That's all of a sudden a
[2:56] Speaker 6: big one coming up on Sunday, maybe with a comeback
[2:59] Speaker 6: player of the year. And there's Sean Watson. We'll chat
[3:01] Speaker 6: about that in a minute. Man, the Hawks put a whooping, Kevin,
[3:04] Speaker 6: on Kansas City. They did things to Patrick Mahomes and
[3:08] Speaker 6: Andy Reid that nobody really does. Tied for fewest points allowed,
[3:12] Speaker 6: second fewest yards, I think. Kansas City did not have
[3:16] Speaker 6: a trip to the red zone the entire day. Mahomes
[3:19] Speaker 6: is pressured on over 50% of his passes. And it
[3:23] Speaker 6: seems like a game. And then when you couple it
[3:26] Speaker 6: with the Quentin Nelson trade from yesterday... God, it feels
[3:30] Speaker 6: like there's a lot of Seahawks buzz around the NFL
[3:32] Speaker 6: right now, man.
[3:33] Speaker 3: Well, there should be. That was, for the Chiefs, clearly
[3:37] Speaker 3: the worst they've looked all year. But I'd even go
[3:40] Speaker 3: back maybe, I mean, maybe at some of their low
[3:43] Speaker 3: times last year. I cannot believe how bad they look.
[3:49] Speaker 3: And I think they are really licking their chops. Their
[3:51] Speaker 3: kicker didn't help himself. They just signed Justin Tucker, I think,
[3:55] Speaker 3: today to the practice squad. because now Harrison Butker is
[3:59] Speaker 3: on notice. The Hawks played defensively. They loaded the box.
[4:04] Speaker 3: They dared the Chiefs to throw. The Chiefs had no
[4:07] Speaker 3: elite receiving help, and what coverage they provided was definitely enough.
[4:12] Speaker 3: They pressured the quarterback because, again, they were starting a
[4:15] Speaker 3: backup at the right tackle. We know they start a
[4:19] Speaker 3: rookie free agent at the left tackle. When you have...
[4:25] Speaker 3: when you don't have a number one receiver, when you
[4:27] Speaker 3: don't have elite receiving help, you're screwed. And by the way,
[4:33] Speaker 3: that almost goes hand in hand with not having a
[4:36] Speaker 3: running attack. You know, really, Walker did about as much
[4:39] Speaker 3: as he could against a defense that was geared to
[4:42] Speaker 3: stop him. And the Chiefs had no plan B. They
[4:46] Speaker 3: looked bewildered, completely frustrated. And I love that the Hawks
[4:52] Speaker 3: came out and did what a lot of defenses have
[4:55] Speaker 3: tried to do, but they pulled it off so successfully.
[4:58] Speaker 3: It was a master class in defense. And then you
[5:01] Speaker 3: had Jackson, who just, some of those passes, by the way,
[5:05] Speaker 3: by Darnold, were just dimes.
[5:07] Speaker 2: Wow.
[5:08] Speaker 3: Just so beautifully thrown. And all he needs is a
[5:12] Speaker 3: little time, and you can see what he can do
[5:14] Speaker 3: when he's got it. But having that elite receiver is
[5:17] Speaker 3: just priceless. And last year he had the receiver, and
[5:21] Speaker 3: he had the running back. Now we get a couple
[5:23] Speaker 3: guys back. Charbonnet is coming back. Price is probably not
[5:27] Speaker 3: too far away. And now he's going to be whole.
[5:29] Speaker 3: That offense will be whole. And then as you accurately say,
[5:32] Speaker 3: they add Nelson. There's not a better guard in pro
[5:35] Speaker 3: football than Quentin Nelson. And he's going to the Hall
[5:38] Speaker 3: of Fame someday. And now he's going to finish as
[5:41] Speaker 3: a Seahawk. And I know he's got just a year
[5:43] Speaker 3: left on the deal. I hope John signs him. But again,
[5:46] Speaker 3: another incredible move by Snyder, who last year got Shahid,
[5:52] Speaker 3: now picks up line help. He saw what he needed
[5:55] Speaker 3: to see in those first six games. Then he needed
[5:58] Speaker 3: to see what he saw this past weekend. They're ready
[6:01] Speaker 3: for a run. I really believe it. With the Rams
[6:04] Speaker 3: staggering and the injured 49ers and the Cardinals still in rebuild,
[6:08] Speaker 3: the door is open. And I think he saw the opportunity.
[6:12] Speaker 4: You are a student of NFL history.
[6:15] Speaker 6: Right. There's no doubt your dad worked in the NFL.
[6:19] Speaker 6: Your brother works, you know, in professional sports. You obviously
[6:23] Speaker 6: work in the NFL. You mentioned Schneider there a couple
[6:26] Speaker 6: of times and what he did with a totally rebuilt
[6:28] Speaker 6: roster winning another title in Seattle. I mean, you think
[6:33] Speaker 6: about all the great, you know, presidents of football operations,
[6:37] Speaker 6: general managers in the history of this league. Where does
[6:40] Speaker 6: John Schneider sit right now? Kind of on that list
[6:44] Speaker 6: for you, you think?
[6:46] Speaker 3: Currently, I think he's the best, but I've thought that
[6:49] Speaker 3: for many ways, this is 17th year in the organization.
[6:51] Speaker 3: Am I correct?
[6:52] Speaker 4: Yes. 2000, 2010, 2010 was his first year.
[6:56] Speaker 1: Right.
[6:56] Speaker 3: So he, to me is the best right now has
[6:59] Speaker 3: been the best. Um, probably, you know, Veach in Kansas
[7:03] Speaker 3: city has to be considered. I think Ozzie, uh, Newsom
[7:06] Speaker 3: at Baltimore when he was still active was right there. Um,
[7:11] Speaker 3: there are a handful of them, you know, I, I
[7:13] Speaker 3: think Snead had kind of built, unfortunately, that's, It's only
[7:16] Speaker 3: been the one title, but I think he does a
[7:18] Speaker 3: pretty good job with the Rams. I think John is
[7:22] Speaker 3: showing the wherewithal he has with the 49ers, Lynch. And
[7:28] Speaker 3: I know I'm missing some, but those are the ones
[7:31] Speaker 3: that to me, I think George Payton at Denver is
[7:33] Speaker 3: pretty clever. I think he's done a good job building
[7:36] Speaker 3: that roster with the Broncos. I mean, they're not hard
[7:39] Speaker 3: to find. They stand out. Ryan Pohl, I think, is
[7:42] Speaker 3: getting momentum as the guy and In Chicago, I mean,
[7:45] Speaker 3: we could go and you could probably pick and choose
[7:47] Speaker 3: a couple more guys. Schneider right there is the very top.
[7:53] Speaker 3: And he just has such a feel. Now, listen, he's
[7:57] Speaker 3: a family friend, so I'm a little bit biased here.
[8:01] Speaker 3: My dad worked with him when he was in Green Bay.
[8:04] Speaker 3: He knows our family. He is a family friend. My
[8:07] Speaker 3: brother just talked to him last week. My brother's an
[8:09] Speaker 3: agent for the Harbaugh's. My brother, like, so... He's a
[8:12] Speaker 3: family friend. So even if I try to take all
[8:15] Speaker 3: that bias out of it, I would still put him
[8:17] Speaker 3: at number one.
[8:18] Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean, I just think whether he's a
[8:20] Speaker 4: friend or not, right?
[8:21] Speaker 6: I mean, you can make an argument, right, you know,
[8:23] Speaker 6: against him and all the guys in the history of
[8:25] Speaker 6: the NFL and the guys that are going now. But
[8:27] Speaker 6: Kevin Harlan's with us, courtesy of the Emerald Queen, obviously.
[8:30] Speaker 6: And look, I mean, the running game for the Seahawks,
[8:33] Speaker 6: I'm curious what you see Monday night against Chicago, hoping
[8:36] Speaker 6: that Charbonnet is back and hoping that Price can get
[8:39] Speaker 6: back and they can get those guys on the same field.
[8:42] Speaker 6: for at least a game before the deadline. They got
[8:44] Speaker 6: two more games before the deadline with the Bears on
[8:47] Speaker 6: Monday and then the Cardinals here the following Sunday. But,
[8:50] Speaker 6: I mean, if there's going to be a fire sale
[8:52] Speaker 6: in Indianapolis and Jonathan Taylor wants out, I know the
[8:56] Speaker 6: name Tony Pollard has also come up on the trade market,
[8:59] Speaker 6: but does Schneider need to keep going and get this
[9:01] Speaker 6: team a running back to take advantage of this kick-ass defense, man?
[9:05] Speaker 3: Well, I agree. He's got a little bit of time,
[9:08] Speaker 3: and clearly the names you mentioned, Pollard and clearly Taylor
[9:15] Speaker 3: with the Colts are on everybody's radar. Some teams are
[9:18] Speaker 3: beginning to sell like crazy. I think we're going to
[9:20] Speaker 3: see some of that with the Chargers. These teams that
[9:23] Speaker 3: are out of it now are thinking, let's start to
[9:25] Speaker 3: rebuild a half year early and let's get some picks.
[9:30] Speaker 3: Because when you get picks and you draft wisely, you
[9:33] Speaker 3: get favorable contracts you can work with and build the
[9:36] Speaker 3: rest of your roster. And then you hit free agency
[9:39] Speaker 3: after you after you hopefully have drafted with a very
[9:41] Speaker 3: deft move at each slot. So these are things that
[9:45] Speaker 3: reside in the minds of these GMs. These are smart people.
[9:49] Speaker 3: You've got the smartest in the league in Seattle right now.
[9:52] Speaker 3: I thought Emmanuel Wilson really ran well the other night,
[9:54] Speaker 3: i gotta be honest um and i think they've gotten
[9:57] Speaker 3: by um i i they know and i think a
[10:02] Speaker 3: lot is going to be predicated on what they think
[10:04] Speaker 3: charbonnet is going to be be able to provide and
[10:08] Speaker 3: and then what price is like after coming he's a
[10:10] Speaker 3: rookie he's had limited carries and he's still very young
[10:14] Speaker 3: and very new to this league um but these guys
[10:17] Speaker 3: can mature in a hurry he's a smart kid incredibly talented.
[10:21] Speaker 3: That may be enough. They may be done. But I
[10:25] Speaker 3: don't know anybody that's made two better moves in the
[10:27] Speaker 3: last two years. I'm assuming Nelson will go in and
[10:30] Speaker 3: start and have the impact that everybody anticipates. And he's
[10:34] Speaker 3: a great teammate and he's a class kid. He fits right,
[10:37] Speaker 3: I think, in that framework of the culture of the
[10:40] Speaker 3: Seahawks that they've tried to establish and develop over the years,
[10:44] Speaker 3: beginning with Pete and I'll continue with Mike. So I'm
[10:47] Speaker 3: bullish on that deal. They may be dumb. They may
[10:50] Speaker 3: feel they have enough.
[10:51] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[10:52] Speaker 6: Well, you're going to be here Monday night for the game,
[10:54] Speaker 6: and I will tell you this, and you can feel
[10:56] Speaker 6: free to use this on the broadcast, by the way.
[10:58] Speaker 3: Well, hold on. Let me get a pen because I
[10:59] Speaker 3: always take what you put, and I want to put
[11:01] Speaker 3: it on the game. Put it on for the national audience, yes.
[11:04] Speaker 6: I think you write it down and then make a note,
[11:06] Speaker 6: do not mention this on the broadcast on Monday night.
[11:09] Speaker 6: You got one of the best third down offenses in
[11:12] Speaker 6: football versus the number two best third down defense in
[11:16] Speaker 6: football facing each other on Monday night. Maybe the future
[11:20] Speaker 6: of the quarterback position in Caleb Williams versus the presence
[11:24] Speaker 6: of elite defenses in the dark side. How do you
[11:28] Speaker 6: kind of analyze and handicap this matchup Monday night, man?
[11:32] Speaker 3: I think it's the premier game of the week. I
[11:35] Speaker 3: think Cleveland and Pittsburgh is probably a close second. And Denver,
[11:39] Speaker 3: Kansas City is huge. This game is, to me, the best.
[11:45] Speaker 3: I will say this about Caleb Williams. I don't know
[11:49] Speaker 3: if the league has had a better arm talent come
[11:52] Speaker 3: into the NFL since Aaron Rodgers. And I thought Rodgers
[11:57] Speaker 3: was the best arm talent I had seen maybe since Marino. Rogers,
[12:04] Speaker 3: to me, at his peak, at his prime, was probably
[12:08] Speaker 3: the best arm talent. I'm not saying best quarterback, but
[12:11] Speaker 3: had the best arm talent of any quarterback I've personally seen. Now,
[12:16] Speaker 3: I've called Marino's games. I called Elway's games. You know,
[12:20] Speaker 3: I've done all those guys. And I think Mahomes is special.
[12:27] Speaker 3: To me, Caleb Williams' arm talent is about as dramatic
[12:34] Speaker 3: an insert into the NFL now as Rodgers was when
[12:38] Speaker 3: he became a starter in Green Bay after year three
[12:41] Speaker 3: or four after Favre was sent to the Jets. I
[12:46] Speaker 3: just think he's bigger than you anticipate. I was on
[12:50] Speaker 3: the field a couple weeks ago, and I saw him
[12:53] Speaker 3: in the tunnel, and they were getting ready to play
[12:56] Speaker 3: the Eagles. This was week three of the NFL season.
[13:00] Speaker 3: on our Monday night game from Soldier Field. He's bigger
[13:03] Speaker 3: than you think. I'm not talking about him as a
[13:06] Speaker 3: play caller. I'm not talking about his acumen. I'm just
[13:09] Speaker 3: talking about arm talent. It's as good as I've seen
[13:12] Speaker 3: coming to the league since Rodgers. Yeah.
[13:14] Speaker 4: No, I'm with you.
[13:15] Speaker 6: I saw him play in person in 2023 at LA
[13:18] Speaker 6: against Michael Penix at USC, and I was blown away.
[13:21] Speaker 6: I mean, look, I think the guy's a little odd.
[13:23] Speaker 6: He's a little bit of a drama king, to be
[13:24] Speaker 6: honest with you. You know, all that stuff. But he's
[13:27] Speaker 6: a hell of a player. There's no doubt about it.
[13:29] Speaker 6: But I mean, the matchup to me, Caleb Williams versus
[13:32] Speaker 6: the dark side. How about Mike McDonald versus Ben Johnson?
[13:36] Speaker 6: I mean, my God, I always think I want the
[13:38] Speaker 6: defensive wizard over the offensive wizard. And that played out
[13:42] Speaker 6: in this game with the chiefs on Sunday night. But
[13:45] Speaker 6: I mean, to me, this is, you know, two young
[13:47] Speaker 6: guys and Ben Johnson and Mike McDonald that they might
[13:49] Speaker 6: be going head to head for some pretty important playoff
[13:52] Speaker 6: games for the next 15 years.
[13:54] Speaker 3: I think they're the best two young coaches in pro
[13:56] Speaker 3: football right now.
[13:57] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[13:58] Speaker 3: Mike has proven it, and Ben continues to prove it
[14:02] Speaker 3: in Chicago. They're innovative, but especially Johnson. He's innovative. He
[14:08] Speaker 3: inherited pretty much a disaster. He has put a completely
[14:13] Speaker 3: different stamp on this team. They truly believe. They're not done.
[14:17] Speaker 3: They're still rebuilding. They need, you know, maybe a little
[14:20] Speaker 3: bit more at some of these other positions. But they finally,
[14:23] Speaker 3: I think, got some depth at receiver with some game changers.
[14:26] Speaker 3: They like their offensive line. They can run the ball.
[14:29] Speaker 3: The quarterback develops literally series by series. Defensively, they've had
[14:35] Speaker 3: some injuries they've had to contend with. I think that
[14:37] Speaker 3: is still a work in progress. If you want to
[14:42] Speaker 3: see what every owner is after in a head coach
[14:46] Speaker 3: in the NFL today, it's these two guys.
[14:48] Speaker 4: Well, Kevin Harlan's with us.
[14:50] Speaker 6: He'll be on the call Monday night for the Seahawks
[14:52] Speaker 6: and Bears in town. Second time so far this year,
[14:55] Speaker 6: by the way. I think you're coming back, aren't you,
[14:57] Speaker 6: for a third trip? We got the Cowboys, I think,
[15:00] Speaker 6: on Monday Night Football.
[15:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, I just did the Cowboys in Philly on Monday.
[15:05] Speaker 3: Great offense, horrible defense. You flip the coin, what's going
[15:09] Speaker 3: to show up?
[15:09] Speaker 6: No, you're totally right. How about this game on Sunday, man?
[15:13] Speaker 4: Good God.
[15:15] Speaker 6: This was not the way the script was supposed to
[15:17] Speaker 6: go for Deshaun Watson. He was supposed to start the
[15:20] Speaker 6: first two games on the road, stink, and they were
[15:23] Speaker 6: going to come home for week three, I believe, against
[15:25] Speaker 6: the Jaguars, and then turn to Shador Sanders, but... Deshaun
[15:29] Speaker 6: Watson's like, ah, I'm not done. I can still play.
[15:32] Speaker 6: The old man can still play. I mean, he's the
[15:34] Speaker 6: comeback player of the year probably right now in the NFL.
[15:38] Speaker 6: And you got two teams that are, I mean, heck,
[15:40] Speaker 6: the Browns are fighting for a division title.
[15:42] Speaker 4: Unbelievable.
[15:43] Speaker 3: Well, the winner's in first place. The winner is number one.
[15:47] Speaker 3: and every team has a winning record, like they do
[15:51] Speaker 3: in the NFC North, in the AFC North, and the
[15:55] Speaker 3: NFC North are probably the two most competitive right now.
[15:57] Speaker 3: Everyone came in thinking that the NFC West was going
[16:00] Speaker 3: to be the division that was going to, and I
[16:03] Speaker 3: still think there's a lot of football clearly for the
[16:05] Speaker 3: Rams ahead of them, and the Niners, if they can
[16:09] Speaker 3: get healthy, if they can ever get healthy, they're great
[16:11] Speaker 3: every opening month of the season, and then they start
[16:14] Speaker 3: the battle of attrition becomes almost too monumental and an
[16:17] Speaker 3: avalanche of injuries and they can't survive. And then you've
[16:20] Speaker 3: got the defending champs. So, but no, the, the AFC
[16:25] Speaker 3: North is, is just terrific. And, and if you look,
[16:29] Speaker 3: I just finished typing their boards today as I get
[16:31] Speaker 3: ready for that game. If you look at their team,
[16:34] Speaker 3: you know, they've been bad. The Browns have for so long.
[16:36] Speaker 3: They've just, they've just been getting some of these former
[16:39] Speaker 3: number one picks that are pretty high picks and they're
[16:41] Speaker 3: starting to perform on both sides of the ball. They've
[16:44] Speaker 3: got this Concepcion kid who's a receiver. And Boston, I mean,
[16:48] Speaker 3: they've got some real talent. So I'm excited to see.
[16:53] Speaker 3: I haven't seen the Browns in a year. I had
[16:55] Speaker 3: them last year in Cleveland. They played New England. And
[16:59] Speaker 3: now I got them again. And in this environment, against
[17:03] Speaker 3: a division foe, against a Hall of Fame quarterback, will
[17:06] Speaker 3: be a great test. Any way you look at it,
[17:09] Speaker 3: the Browns have been a success so far through the
[17:10] Speaker 3: first half of the season. The winner will be in
[17:13] Speaker 3: first place. And I think it's a flip of the
[17:15] Speaker 3: coin who's going to win it. The Steelers are winning
[17:17] Speaker 3: on guile and experience and good plays when they need them.
[17:21] Speaker 3: And their quarterback's pulling a lot of that off. And
[17:24] Speaker 3: they've won a string of games in a row now.
[17:26] Speaker 3: But Cleveland is.
[17:29] Speaker 3: I'm anxious to see if I feel this is for real.
[17:31] Speaker 3: It feels like it might be. It seems to be.
[17:34] Speaker 3: Todd Munkin has gone in there. He's a longtime assistant
[17:37] Speaker 3: coach in football and the pros. And this is his
[17:41] Speaker 3: one big shot. To be a head coach, he's taken
[17:44] Speaker 3: the advantage of it. He's kind of come in with
[17:46] Speaker 3: a gruff, you know, no BS kind of attitude toward
[17:51] Speaker 3: the press and the team. He's all business. He's fiery.
[17:54] Speaker 3: I like it. And, you know, here's, again, I just,
[17:58] Speaker 3: this is why this league is so great. You can
[18:01] Speaker 3: go from one year to being a complete and total
[18:04] Speaker 3: and utter disaster. Absolutely. and be a three or four
[18:08] Speaker 3: win team. And the next year, halfway through being first
[18:11] Speaker 3: place in the division and playing for sole possession at
[18:14] Speaker 3: first place, midway through the year. This league is so great.
[18:17] Speaker 3: That does not happen in the NBA. It kind of
[18:20] Speaker 3: can happen sometimes in major league baseball, not often, but
[18:23] Speaker 3: it happens in the NFL. It's like almost inexplicable how
[18:27] Speaker 3: you can turn the page from one year to the next,
[18:30] Speaker 3: be an utter disaster, and then come in and be
[18:32] Speaker 3: the story of the league the next year. It's It's
[18:34] Speaker 3: what makes this league great, and I think it's what
[18:37] Speaker 3: makes this fan base, whether you're in Cleveland or Seattle
[18:41] Speaker 3: or who knows where, always feel like at the beginning
[18:44] Speaker 3: of the season, there is always hope. You can't say
[18:47] Speaker 3: that in a lot of leagues with a lot of teams.
[18:49] Speaker 3: You can in the NFL.
[18:50] Speaker 4: It's kind of like this segment.
[18:52] Speaker 6: Just starts off off the rails, train wreck, complete disaster,
[18:55] Speaker 6: and then rallies, and actually by the end of it,
[18:58] Speaker 6: ends up being okay.
[19:00] Speaker 3: Hmm, interesting you'd say that. Let that marinate a little bit,
[19:04] Speaker 3: and we'll kind of maybe.
[19:05] Speaker 4: Address it again. Hey, are you on Amazon? You got
[19:08] Speaker 4: hoops this week?
[19:10] Speaker 3: No, my dad is being honored. On the Thursday game
[19:14] Speaker 3: at Lambeau, they're going to put his name on the
[19:18] Speaker 3: inside of the stadium. There is no greater honor. Wow.
[19:22] Speaker 3: There are so few names, but the names that are
[19:24] Speaker 3: up there are the greatest names in the history of
[19:27] Speaker 3: pro football. Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke. Brett Favre, you know,
[19:32] Speaker 3: so his name is going up. He was 21 years
[19:36] Speaker 3: the president and CEO of the Packers, 37 years with
[19:39] Speaker 3: the organization, rebuilt Lambeau Field, the family, you know, me
[19:44] Speaker 3: being his oldest son. So incredibly proud. Mike Holmgren, by
[19:47] Speaker 3: the way, was a part of every part of that.
[19:51] Speaker 3: My dad had to okay that hire. He had to
[19:55] Speaker 3: okay the trade for Favre. He didn't make the trade,
[19:57] Speaker 3: but he had to okay it as the president and
[20:00] Speaker 3: the CEO, acting as the owner of the team. But
[20:04] Speaker 3: he loved Mike, loves Mike, loved Mike, whether he was
[20:08] Speaker 3: with the Packers or or with the Seahawks, a personal friend,
[20:13] Speaker 3: Mike and I have stayed in contact. I know he's
[20:15] Speaker 3: going to be the, you know, going to have an
[20:17] Speaker 3: important role on Monday night. I can't wait to see him.
[20:20] Speaker 3: I love Mike Holmgren. I love his family. But Mike
[20:23] Speaker 3: was there every step of the way of that rebuild
[20:26] Speaker 3: and what he did. And it's as important to that
[20:29] Speaker 3: organization as anybody, but, but, So I took this NBA
[20:33] Speaker 3: Friday off to be with my family on the Thursday night.
[20:35] Speaker 6: I love it.
[20:36] Speaker 4: I love it.
[20:36] Speaker 6: Well, you deserve it. Great honor for your dad. That
[20:38] Speaker 6: is awesome. And Mike will be with us tomorrow. So
[20:42] Speaker 6: I'll be sure and ask Mike about your dad and
[20:44] Speaker 6: his relationship with him. And then you'll see Mike on
[20:47] Speaker 6: Monday night when he raises the 12th man flag before
[20:50] Speaker 6: the game on Monday with the Bears. So, all right, listen,
[20:52] Speaker 6: great stuff. I know you got to run. I'll see
[20:55] Speaker 6: you again this week on Monday. Always fun, man. Love
[20:59] Speaker 6: having you on every week, and we'll do it again
[21:01] Speaker 6: next Wednesday, pal.
[21:03] Speaker 3: It is my privilege to be with you on KJR
[21:06] Speaker 3: every Wednesday night. Thank you, and have a great weekend.
[21:10] Speaker 3: I'll see you Monday morning for breakfast.
[21:12] Speaker 4: You got it, bud.
[21:13] Speaker 6: Kevin Harlan with us on the show, brought to you
